Best Western Inn of Vancouver

Went here with my daughter to watch the NCAA women's basketball tournament. I have yet to have a bad experience at a Best Western hotel and again I was not let down. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful and was given the job of holding delivery packages from my wife's online shopping. Their breakfast made our morning with eggs, hash browns, sausage, toast, waffles, juices and coffee/tea. The pool was nice along with the weight room. A big shout goes out to the house keeping staff (especially Silvia). They always had smiles and a greeting and they allowed me to practice my Spanish

Clean. Nice pool , breakfast was good and hot a d a full one , rooms were updated and I was satisfied with my stay no problems at all only issue is they are remodeling and I work nights so didn't sleep much during the day

We stay at this property frequently, and the service and amenities are consistently excellent. Much effort has been put into updating and modernizing an older hotel, and it shows. Good breakfast, pool and fitness room, good lighting in parking area, wonderful staff.

Nice hotel. Comfy beds. Accommodating staff. Nice, warm pool. We checked in later in the evening, and my son was too tired to swim that night, but I noticed the pool didn't open until 10am the next morning, and checkout was at 11am. The night desk attendant was able to give us a late checkout so we were able to enjoy the pool the next morning and not be rushed showering and packing up after. I definitely appreciated that. The one thing they can approve on was the dog area. The grass was overgrown and there was a good bit of trash and other things in the grass. My dog found some chicken bones someone had thrown out there and I had to take them from her before she choked. I suggest keeping the grass shorter so pet owners can see any potential dangers to their pets before the pet gets to them. And also suggest someone patrols the area for trash, broken glass, food waste, etc, every now and then to prevent any potential accidents. Nice, quiet rooms though, clean facilities. Warm pool. Overall very satisfied with our stay.

Since we've dropped all other hotel chain rewards programs, we've raised our expectations for BW. This property was so-so. The bed was a noisy frame, the neighborhood is, well, quite a bit of homeless activity, lock your vehicle and keep your valuable with you.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and always working hard to make sure the property is in tip top condition. We felt safe and secure while staying there. The property is well lighted for security purposes and I appreciated this.

Room is clean Good customer service Fast and easy. I will definitely come back and stay more..I recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from home or business to come and stay with best Western hotels

Had a great overnight stay at the BW Inn of Vancouver, WA. The room was clean and comfortable with plush, modern furnishings including a microwave AND a good sized refrigerator, and the flooring was the best part -- instead of carpet the room had vinyl flooring.

We travel to Vancouver often, and we like to find affordable places to stay overnight. This has been our go to Best Western for years now, and our experience has never been short of amazing. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the rooms are clean, roomy, and comfortable. The internet is fast, the pool is well kept. The breakfast service remains the crowning jewel of our stays. Buttery scrambled eggs, sausage links, waffles, pancakes, fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, cereal, juices, great coffee, are what await you in the morning.

We tried the Premier which was nice but in the end came back to this one. It offers a very clean friendly environment along with a breakfast that serves up a variety that is perfect for a variety of dietary needs. The eating area is inviting, clean and very friendly. It is a quick hop to the freeway either direction.

We had a bad encounter with the late night desk clerk and so we slept elsewhere during a historic snowstorm in Portland. Not a well trained or caring staff person. The evening clerk was trying to help us.

Travelled with kids on a sport event, at first I was reluctant on how it looked. The floors were composite wood is what I first noticed when we arrived. The queen beds were comfortable to our liking. The pillows were not standard firm. The swimming pool was small, but a perfect temperature. Overall a surprisingly great stay.

We visit this particular hotel several times a year, and the staff just couldn't be better. They had lost power just before we arrived, and instead of telling to come back later, as many places would have, the clerk called her manager to check us in remotely on her computer,and let us into our room. Later that night, we had need to call the night manager to deal with some revelers next door to us (it was Christmas Eve). He took care of the problem within minutes, and we were able to get some sleep. We were so grateful to both employees for treating us as valued guests.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast! I defiantly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in the Vancouver area. I drove about 3 hours and once i got there i was greeted by friendly staff. i got my room key right away went up and loved the way my room was so clean and it smelled good too.

The place smelled funny upon walking in. The air conditioner barely blew cold air. There were cracks around the door that led to an ant invasion! There were what appeared to be Riverdance auditions at night and in the morning. Sketchy neighborhood. Super basic, minimally cleaned room. Could have gotten a fancier hotel for the same price.

This Best Western location, time and time again, has been our favorite place to stay when we visit Vancouver. The breakfast is amazing, the rooms are comfortable, the staff aim to please! In my opinion, you cannot beat this BW location for the price and the level of hospitality the staff provides.

Not only were the grounds perfect, I actually saw a worker making minute inspections along the front. He could have been worried about the homeless camp of one pickup with camper and a lot of debris directly opposite on the side of the street., and he was being very picky. I thought that was good.

We stayed here for 3 nights . Room is clean . Breakfast is good , pancake maker is not working at the time of stay. Gas and food are a walking distance away . My main concern is the homeless around, so just don't leave any valuables in the car .

If not for the incredibly kind staff at this location that were clearly overworked, we would have left to stay somewhere else. The location is directly next to a homeless encampment and behind several other run down hotels. Staff appeared to work 24 hour shifts and towels were in short supply. There is no hot tub at this location, which was fine for the time we were there, but the room door opens directly to an outside walkway that felt incredibly unsafe to walk on. Breakfast was okay, but not as good as other BW locations and was difficult to get the staff (again, overworked and clearly trying their best) to refill food and beverage if you didn't come when breakfast first started. I would not stay here again.

Toilet over flowed all over the floor 1st time my child flushed. Tv didn't work and sheets had neon yellow stuff on them. There where crack heads camped on the road and would say crazy stuff while loading and unloading car. Not the most comfortable location specially with children.

Room smelled of cigarettes. Bathroom was dirty. Tub drain was broken. Broke down rvs and homeless people on site. Had to change rooms upon arrival. Couldn't get out of there fast enough. This was the 7th night in a motel after a week long trip. It was an awful ending. Paid $167 on a Tuesday. I read the reviews. None described accurately this property.

Multiple issues and none addressed or helped. Wouldn't give us our money back to stay somewhere else. Couldn't move us rooms. Couldn't even give us new blankets. Website says hot tub which isn't true. Room was dirty and the odor atrocious. Homeless people all over the place blocking the main entrances. Woke up to a man pissing outside our window by their dumpster. Which was our view.

The room was very nice, and it was very quiet and comfortable. I liked that it had laminate floors instead of carpet, and it felt very clean. Even though the rooms are not connected by inside corridors, the room felt very warm and safe. I would definitely stay here again.

Old hotel with updates, but still old and smelly, homeless people surround outside area doesn't feel safe. Water tasted bad could not drink it, the breakfast food even had the smell of an old hotel. I could not eat it or drink the water. This is a horrible hotel, I did not sleep well at all.

The hotel and staff was what we expected from the pic to and online description. Clean, remodeled, great for the price point. The neighborhood was lined with homelessness. Trailers, vans and tents lining the streets in every direction. Smell of weed was strong. The staff gave us a room tucked back behind the building and let us know we could switch rooms right away if that wasn't the best option for us.

Conveniently located to within walking distance of eateries, groceries & shopping. Clean exterior, lobby, breakfast area, & room. Full breakfast is served, lots of options. Guests are required to wear disposable food gloves when getting breakfast, impressive that they take safety seriously. My only minor issue was our room had a slight odor as if someone had smoked in it, but was tolerable that I did not have to report it. Overall, great value for your buck! Will come back here again.

Very comfortable and easy check in and check out... convenient to freeway and shopping... Quite and very clean I will definitely stay here again in the near future... Front desk lady remembered me from the last time I stayed. Made me feel comfortable

This hotel did not feel safe. While the exterior is updated, immediately across the street is a very run down hotel. Parked on the street outside the hotel are several broken down motorhomes with missing windows and wheels. It is clear that there are people living in them. The room entry is all external, so it did not provide any buffer between the questionable neighborhood and my room.

For a BW it was not great - not the worst either. More the location is very sketchy. Well lit parking but was a bit concerned about anything left in my car. No elevator. Stairs to 2nd level. Exterior entries.

The Best Western in Vancouver is quietly located away from the main traffic area, but near the freeway on-ramp and also near restaurants (fast food and sit down). The room was clean and very comfortable. I stayed here while my wife was at the hospital and found the area very accommodating. Easy drive to other restaurants and services. Great Location.

This motel is just off the freeway but it was Nice and quiet. The rooms were newly updated and super clean and comfy. One person said it wasn't safe in a review I read before I booked. I was nervous but kept it anyway because we were visiting a friend in a hospital. I don't know what that reviewer was talking about. There was nothing scary about the neighborhood. There is a Fred Meyer, Trader Joe's and Starbucks. I would come back no problem.

Other hotels fell through, Best Western Vancouver was ready for us when we walked in the door. Great location if traveling to or from the Portland Airport. Would definitely revisit in the future if needing a hotel.

We were experiencing a heat wave. The temperature was 100° and counting. There was no AC in my apartment. I was looking for a hotel to rent for a few days when I came across best Western. I was able to get a room within five minutes. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make my visit pleasant. My room was clean and very nice. The property was clean and well lighted.

The personnel were friendly. The hotel was clean. Access to I-205 is close. The cost of the room was high. For almost the same cost I could have stayed at a Best Western Premier hotel. I chose this hotel because it was closer to our family. Next time I will try the Premier hotel if the cost is still similar.

This was a beat up cheap motel with New cosmetic redo. We did not feel secure leaving our car in the poorly lit parking lot. Upholstery on chair visibly stained with a 4 inch rip. Sickly sweet sanitizing products made me gag.

Best customer service ever! When the ice storm hit! we decided to get a room cause we lost power, We look in Oregon but everyone was booked up! So we came up to vancouver, and found the best western! We stayed 5 days. The rooms are nice and comfy, clean and inviting! I was very happy with staying here! The people that work here, were very helpful, kind, Due to the covid! We could order our breakfast from the menu, they had different menu plans to choose from! And they would call u when it was ready!! I applaud the customer service here! Best I've had in awhile!

The location of the inn seemed fine at first glance. Then I noticed a number of cops patrolling the area. Over night I heard multiple police sirens and off market loud mufflers on the street. My second day I noticed there was a used needle in one of the vents for the heaters in my room. Really gave the room a grungey feel after that. The heater was so noisy I turned it off to sleep and woke up freezing in the middle of the night. Had to ask for extra blankets which seemed fresh and clean. Otherwise the stay was fine. Staff were great and breakfast was fine.

If you don't mind the smell stay here ,if you want to watch tv bring ur on devices and if ur planing to connect to the internet make sure u have ur own internet /hot spot.................... ...........Oh and one last thing the bed was horrid to sleep in never

Surprised this is not considered a plus property as very up to date furniture and amenities. Decent breakfast choices. It's off the main road and quiet. Came here to get away from the family...after being sick and losing my mind, I needed some self care and downtime. Hot shower, comfortable bed, and brought my kindle to read. . Woke up feeling refreshed from a good sleep. Highly recommend!

I have stayed 4 nights at this hotel. Overall I had a good experience staying at this place. Convenient location. Away from main traffic of Mill Plain which makes it quiet place and easy access to near by restaurants. Room was very clean. Room service was prompt in cleaning my room every day during my stay. Used coin Laundry at the Facility.

My husband and I stayed here two nights and enjoyed the staff (friendly and helpful), the wifi (strong and steady), the parking (lots of space), and the location (everything was 5 minutes or less away). Our king-size room had plenty of space for both of us to set up our computers and work, the fridge was more than roomy, and the place was clean. (The only complaint would be the light switch on the outside of the bathroom - hard to be courteous/sneaky in the middle of the night when you have to flip the switch before you can close the door.)

Good hotel, access to several restaurants and nearby shopping. We didn't get to use the breakfast, pool or workout areas due to Covid. The rooms enter from the exterior of the hotel, not inside if that is a deal breaker for anyone. Wifi and staff were good. The room did reek of cigarette smoke which takes away one star.

Very good loved it would stay again and would refer to other people how the stay was it was nice and very very relaxing couldn't have picked us a better place to stay considering the motel across the way was very rude..

I was able to enjoy the company of a friend who lives far away without any interruptions. And to us privacy is like a huge gift. We were very glad we ended up choosing Best Western. Shower/ Bathroom could be bigger.

The hotel structure itself is a bit dated, and all the windows are in the back of the rooms, so it makes the front look a bit sterile. However, whatever they could possibly do to make the inside look modern and inviting, they have done. When you walk into the lobbly there's nice seating and a TV and electric fireplace, with a much bigger than expected breakfast area. The breakfast spread is good, with pancakes, eggs, sausage, potatoes and non-dairy milk options. The indoor heated pool is nice, and the fitness center is small, but has great, new equipment - treadmill, eliptical and great crossfit machine. The staff were all very nice and accomodating. Also, if you need any groceries or coffee, you've got Trader Joe's, Fred Meyer, Starbucks and BlackRock all within walking distance!

I made my reservation over the phone with this Best Western. The rooms were newly remodeled and very clean (if a bit cold). The breakfast was hot and tasty, with the service being very good as well. However, not only was the additional 100.00 “fee” not mentioned in the price quote, the fee has not been credited back to my account yet. (It has been three days). The check in clerk was not honest, and the check out clerk could not say for sure when it would be credited. My family does not live in Vancouver, so it is very inconvenient!!!!

Nice clean room, everything works and very helpful staff! Anna always helps us get our reservations and showed us how to get our free night by using our points. They are doing a good job considering the whole place is being remodeled.

The hotel is in the process of construction on all of the outside of the building and the office, swimming pool, and breakfast area. In general it is not very disruptive. There was only part of two days when they were hammering on the outside wall of my room. I knew about the construction before I made the reservation and there was less noise than I expected. I stayed at this hotel on two prior trips to visit family in Vancouver and Portland several years ago.

The hotel is being remodeled, but we stayed on the weekend so no noise from that. Have stayed here in the past and the stay has always been pleasant. Only negative thing that can be see is there is no elevator for second story units

Keep coming back to this hotel for convenience of location, great value for the price; rooms are clean, staff is helpful and courteous, comfortable, private, continental breakfast is convenient and beds were very comfortable. I would recommend.

Very nice accommodating staff although it is a smaller outdoor Hotel very clean the decor of the room was nice rooms are good inside you don't feel like it living in the shoe box everything was in walking distance location was awesome at one point I couldn't sleep and requested some coffee in the middle of the night and the front desk lady was so sweet she literally came out from behind the desk and went into the housekeeping closet to get me what I needed and was just such a doll about it. Overall great environments great staff the property is kept needs as well so colinas was awesome thank you guys I loved it and I will definitely recommend and stay again if I'm ever in Vancouver

We held a company meeting at this hotel for two days. The meeting space smelled of mold, it was not set up on the first day, the HVAC for the room did not work (Not Working written in sharpie on the thermostat box), they did not provide water and coffee as requested, the outlets in the room did not work and they did not have an electric cord so we had to provide our own, there were no connectors for our laptops to their TV (and i was told there would be). Two of our people requested different rooms due to thermostat not working and a large amount of spiders in their rooms and were told no. No one came to fix the thermostat or address the spiders. We sent emails canceling two of the rooms well before the cancellation deadline and were told they were charging us for no shows for those rooms. I spoke to the area general manager and she refused to comp the conference rooms even though I was told by the front desk manager that the first day would be comped. When I discussed all of these issues she stated they were never made aware of the issues, which is completely not true. We talked with several employees at the front desk about all of these issues for two days. Not a good experience at all and I would avoid this place like the plague, especially if you are thinking of holding a business meeting there.

We were in town for a family member in the ICU, we stayed one night, then called to extend for the next night. He passed and hotel wouldn't cancel the second night we had extended on the grounds of “I can't sell a dirty room”. I am just doubtful they had to turn away any guests because of this one room. I understand policy, but they are not written in stone. It would have been nice to have some more compassion then them just looking at the value. The outside looks bad because they are remodeling. But the room was nice.

Everything was good. Things were a little difficult to enjoy because the place is under renovations which is totally understandable. Best western always comes through whether it's one night or multiple nights.

While the people were most hgelpful, the nature of construction (every building is being renovated at once, the lobby is accessed through a security portal window) made dealing with them a bit unusual. The appropriate discount was appreciated and makes the resonable rooms and service worth the difficult, hiopefully temporary, growth issues. For nervous single travellers, the location and "job site" atmosphere amy be less than ideal.

The bathroom was dirty, the breakfast was terrible, and the hot water was barely warm. There were other issues as well but that summarizes it. Some of the staff was good and I hope they can move to one of the really good BW near this one. I am going back to our usual places in N Portland.

These rooms were very beautiful and the bed was the best I've slept in and a very long time. everything was lovely! I would stay at this location again because of the service and the carrying staff. Thank you

Standard BW hotel - clean, nice rooms, WiFi, beds comfortable, condition could be a little improved but overall there is nothing really disturbing; well the AC could be less loud. Hot breakfast is good, it includes sausage and eggs, juice, oatmeal, etc. I really enjoyed the location cause it was in a quiet area of Portland/Vancouver.

We needed a hotel at the last minute and this Best Western was close to everything we needed. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and the coffee was fantastic! Great stay! Thank you for a great room!

I am a rewards member at BW, so I stay there when there's a BW available. Very easy to find off I-205 at Mill Plain Road. The hotel is located in the northeast quad of the intersection/exit. Breakfast was very good, being consistent with BW standards. Overall, although it is an older style of hotel, it is very much a Best Western. You will do well to stay there!

Large room, comfy bed, safe and secure. Very convenient access to restaurants and the highway. The shower was hot and the soap was bigger than most places. The reception desk people were very helpful.

Very friendly night staff. My room was kinda dirty blood on the door and walls where dirty. Some hair on shower walls before showering. I have stayed here a few times. And this is my 1st time experience with it.

Very clean rooms, nice comfortable beds, friendly staff. Very close to restaurants and shopping. And also one of the hospitals in Vancouver was very close by, with in 3 miles from the hotel . The Gentleman clerk at the front desk, is awesome at his job!

Convenient location to my family in Vancouver. A good variety of shopping, dining and drinking close by. Staff is always very nice and helpful. Property is quite quiet considering its proximity to freeway and heavy traffic on Mill Plain.

First let me say that the hotel is very quiet and the rooms are extremely clean. Do not stay here for ambiance or scenery. Hallways are exterior, there is little to no landscaping and nothing to create ambiance, if you just need a clean, quiet room for a good price...this is it.

Clean and cozy room. Free breakfast is great. Pool available. Front dest always available and friendly. I prefer this hotel due to convenience and the style of the hotel itself. Price depends on what day you're staying. I'll always come back to stay and relax.

We are Best Western members and have stayed at this property on a few occasions as well as many others across the country over many years. This property is as basic as they come (no frills or amenities) but is usually mostly clean which is important to us. This past weekend we stayed here after a very long day of traveling, arriving late at night. The desk clerk Dan is a hoot and my hubby likes the welcoming personality. We went to our room and got settled in. As we were about to turn out the light my hubby says “there are ants in my nightstand “. We did a closer inspection of our nightstands and bed and didn't see any more ants so we went to sleep. The next morning I go over to the desk where I had a ziplock bag of sealed snacks to find an army of ants on the surface of the desk and bag. This is early March and temps are freezing, not the time of year I would expect an ant problem. We told the morning front desk staff who seemed fairly indifferent but said they would let maintenance know. There were a couple of other things to note - very dusty and dirty behind the tables and tv console, a makeup stain on the sheet and the heater roars like a jet engine. We resigned to turn it off for the night and looked in the closet for an extra blanket but there wasn't one. This experience has left us thinking we will not return to this property.

Check in attendant was nice. That was the only pleasant experience at this hotel. I am a rewards member with Best Western and we usually try and stay at Best Western when we travel, which is frequent with my daughters volleyball. This Best Western was not like any of the others. I was completely unimpressed with the 100$ security deposit that was charged upon check-in. Next was the room. The bedding was clearly not washed as their was mascara and makeup on the sheets and pillows. The was literally brown looking, what looked like boogers smeared on the side of mattress cover. I will be probably be going back to the other hotels we have stayed at for the price AND security deposit I was charged. Not at all worth what I paid.

Great customer service, fast check in and check out, not in best area of vancouver but they assured me they do a walk of the parking lot every hour to make sure everything is good. Made me feel at ease.

Tub and toilet rooms need to be updated. It was hard to get a steady temp on the old shower faucet. Good location. Average breakfast, with an unfriendly attendant who didn't speak any English. Front desk people were nice. No hot tub. Didn't use the small pool. Outdoor room access, as it's an old motel, which is not ideal for security.

outside looks quite ordinary but amenities and food are exceptional as well as the service... you might think it is an old motel, out of date, and worn down, but when you see the upgraded rooms and have the breakfast you will see the value. it is in a quiet area as well. Do not leave anything on your seats in your vehicle overnight... just normal precaution

After a miscue regarding the location of THIS hotel with the booking agent, we contacted the front desk and from that call on, got nothing but 5 star service! In fact, upon arrival the desk staff took the time to locate my old BW account and saved us additional $$. We had 2 rooms and 3 generations of family and ALL OF US felt very welcome and cared for. The rooms were comfortable, the room staff did an excellent job of helping us with additional amenities and the breakfast had very nice selections. This isn't a premium priced hotel and the room fans are annoyingly noisy, but the entire place was spotless and the staff were friendly and accommodating - we'll be back!

I've stayed at this Inn over 20 times and always get great service for warm and friendly people. My Grandson graduates this year but my Granddaughter has 7 more years to go so I will be back many more times.

Look no further! Clean, comfortable room. Close to everything, including freeway access, but no street noise. Office staff is wonderful and super accommodating. I will definitely choose this place any time I'm in town, in the future.

Dan at the front desk was fantastic. The rooms are clean and quiet. This BW is not near the main road and yet it is very near to shopping and places to eat and the freeway access. I thought this was one of the nicest BW and I'm a Platinum member and stay at many. I would come back. Breakfast was the standard BW and the check out young gal was not very attentive, but for a clean, quiet, well maintained stay....one of the best. Will come back!

reception accommodated me by checking me in early. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the room clean, and providing needed supplies for the room. Exterior was always kept clean, parking lot area well lit.

easy to get to this place, and get back on the I5. very quiet, good sleep, the inns with a hallway are too noisy, someone leaves at 6am and their kids make a racket running down the hall, wake me up, and thats it for sleeping, bad deal for me

This is a quiet, delightful motel. Happy we discovered it. We have stayed here before, and we have been greeted with kindness and enthusiasm each visit. The breakfast includes hot oatmeal and Almond or Soy alternative beverage, which I fully appreciate!!!

Nice location to visit friends and look for a future retirement location along the Columbia River. The staff was great and both check in an check out was easy and fast. Good parking spots and access to other stores in the immediate area.

Located in a less desirable area, but with excellent highway access, you'll pay a lower rate for this hotel. A little tired, some seedy neighbours, but, knowing this, it's been our hotel of choice on many trips to the Portland area.

We have stayed here a number of times when visiting family in the area an the place is well run,reasonable, and a good location. Many great places to do day trips to the mountains and the beautiful Columbia River Gorge as well as one of the best rose gardens in the USA.

Note, no hot tub/jacuzzi, which Google had wrong, but this is a really nice hotel with large rooms, a nice warm indoor pool, workout room and really good service. Shower water pressure was very good with massaging shower head and basic tub. Breakfast bar looks small, but they had eggs, sausage, tater tots, cereal, oatmeal, bananas/apples, breads and waffles/juices. If not for misstatement of the hot but I would probably give it 5/5, as I was expecting this and disappointed

Good hotel with basic amenities. Clean and relatively quiet. Some broken items in the room that should have been repaired. Difficulty getting checked into an available room but finally successful on the 3rd try. Clerk was very committed to fix issue.

This is a very quiet place to rest comfortably. There wasn't much traffic on the surroundings since its location is on a cul-de-sac . clean pool modest gym and clean parking lot. plenty of spaces to suit the needs of all guests

Close to ODD, and shopping galore in this location. Good breakfast, fitness center and pool. Clean and friendly! Was here for 3 nights visiting family, and was relatively a much better deal than staying on the Oregon side...very friendly staff too!

The pool was a bit on the cool side. Even though it was indoors, my kids got cold in the water pretty quick. Pool and excersize equipment don't open till 10am. My kids were very disappointed to not get to swim after breakfast.

The price was good but the hotel looks and therefore feels very dated. The pool looked nice but I didn't use it. Breakfast was decent but nothing to write about. Good parking and easy access to highway.

The hotel was easy to find, it was a fast easy check in. The room was comfortable, slept really well. Breakfast was good, no waiting. Water in the shower was hot instantly, towels where fluffy and bright white. Check out was fast.

Room appeared to be clean - friendly staff - nice complimentary breakfast . Note however-- Carpets in rooms need shampooed. Bottom of socks were black with dirt from walking around in room. Previous three visits still the same ??

While this property is not a Best Western Plus, the rooms are good size and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is your typical "hot" breakfast of scrambled eggs, tater tot's and sausage, in addition to the traditional continental breakfast items. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is easy access to Portland and Vancouver.

The hotel advertised a hot tub/spa when there is none. Shower surround had a major break that had been "fixed" by caulk. The motel owner needs to spend some money to bring the facility up to standard. Staff were professional and caring. Other than that, the room and breakfast was okay.

Wonderful staff & clean, quiet, comfortable location. This is how a good reasonable hotel should be! Enjoyed my 4 day stay here! Nice breakfast, indoor pool, & exercise facility. The people were especially friendly!

Best Western always have quality stays.. I like their hotels. I'm a truck driver and I have stayed at most of their locations and all of them are nice and clean. I like that they have breakfast, the staff was very friendly and helpful.. we can go walking to the store across the street.. is located near everything.

Arrived at 7:00pm. we had reserved 4 non-smoking rooms. Best western did not keep track so when we go there only had 3 non smoking rooms. they wanted us to take a smoking room. when I asked about a discount they offered a 10% discount. I told them forget it. Kept the 3 nonsmoking rooms and got a 4th non smoking room cheaper across the street. Very poor service on their part. No more Best Western

Very Clean, breakfast included, otherwise no unusual-frills; excellent staff, located in a business-complex with plenty of medium-priced restaurant choices available. Depending upon night and local events, pricing varies, and it can be overpriced by almost double !!! Be prepared to Call around if necessary.

Clean, comfortable room and friendly, helpful staff. Desk chair never lost height and bath tub drain plug worked so I has an enjoyable soak. Internet a bit slow at times, but acceptable. I'd stay here again.

A midrange property with standard amenities , clean and attractive room. Fast wifi. Even during rush-hour airport was less than 15 minutes to terminal. This e-mail review is WAY too long and time-consuming.

Room is smaller but is clean and nice. Outside appearance may be less attractive then near by competitors but don't let it misguide you. Stuffs are friendly, breakfast was OK . very closed to freeway and major stores and overall is very good value.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The décor looked updated even though the outside building style is the older motel setup where the entry door is from the outside. There was a fridge and microwave in the room and the a/c had its own digital controls. Plenty of hot water for showering and ample linens provided. A flat screen monitor with an abundance of channels to fill the short amount of time spent in the room. WiFi was fast, reliable, and included with the room. There's a breakfast included but I didn't eat there--the dining area looked clean and well organized. It's within walking distance to restaurants and easy access to the freeway but set back enough so that it was [surprisingly] quiet.

Although the hotel looks average on the outside, the rooms were excellent - nicely remodeled, very clean, with microwave & refrigerator. The staff was helpful and and accommodating as well a solid breakfast the next morning....

Comfortable beds, cozy rooms, clean, working showers and bathroom facilities, no maintenance problems that I saw. Breakast options include bagels, muffins, waffles, and cereal. Nice place to stay for a night or two. My only complaint is the price is higher than i would usually pay for a motel, but this was an unplanned situation and i needed the room in a hurry and the motel 6 next door was full up.

Excellent staff. Very decent hot breakfast quality. Average, but nice room. As a Diamond Select member of BW, surprised that a complimentary upgrade wasn't offered due to the sparse occupancy of the property. Very circuitous and cumbersome ingress and egress to the property from the main traffic directions. Rooms on the residential street side allow audible access to everyone remotely opening and closing their vehicles, sometimes earlier or later than you may like. In my opinion, the property is overpriced...but that's also part of the price point game that almost everyone in the hotel industry seems to be playing...but I would compare in the future before choosing this particular property.

Used Hotel for an overnight stay for a meeting in the area. Check in was good, used express checkout. Breakfast was a little slim, but was very good.. Enjoyed the stay. would recommend this hotel to friends and would stay again.

This Inn is very clean, breakfast provided, pool area very nice and most importantly is how well treated you will be by the staff. I always stay at this Inn when helping my ill sister and will be again in a month and look forward to coming back to my room. It has close access to the freeway but you do not hear the traffic. There are a large variety of of restaurants and shopping areas nearby. Highly recommend this Best Western Inn

We stay at Best Western every time we visit family. Rooms are clean and beds are really comfortable. The customer service is great. The only drawback is that they raised the prices considerably since last year. This time it was $100.00 more than last year.

We arrived at night and the area seemed questionable, but the room was exceptionally nice. We always enjoy the vanity when separate from the bathroom. Also, we were impressed with the availability of outlets for our electronics. Lobby and breakfast area were small. Exterior hallways and no elevator were less than ideal.

Though we were here just overnight this time, everything was clean, comfortable and convenient. So glad Best Western has breakfasts that even people on restricted diets can eat. Employees all offered to help if needed.

Very nice hotel, pleasant staff. OK breakfast. The internet connection could be better though. Previous night I stayed at a different hotel next door and in contrast this hotel seemed like a 5 start ;-)

The staff went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable, the pool area looks really nice clean and it's indoor, the location is perfect restaurants and grocery store nearby. It's kid friendly we had a blast

Overall experience was okay. It just seemed to be busier than should be after hours with cars coming and going at all hours. I stayed three night and all were the same...other than that the staff was pleasant, friendly and professional.

This hotel was clean and well cared for. The rooms were typical for hotel of this price and brand but were well above average in cleanliness and condition. The staff were exceptional at the front desk and the breakfast service.

I had no problems and was in a quiet area. Stayed there 4 nights to visit family. Great average clean hotel. breakfast was scrambled egg and cheap sausage and tater tots, The had waffles, bagels and cereal. The staff was friendly and helpful. Indoor Pool was ok. I will stay there again.

Stayed at the BW Inn of Vancouver before an early morning flight. Hotel is less than 10 minutes from the airport which was a plus. The room was clean, that was very important to us. Also the front desk clerk offered to make us our express breakfast when we checked in. This was appreciated as we departed for the airport at 4am. The breakfast was not much, a choice of muffin, fruit, and bottle of water. For an early morning start and in a rush the breakfast was perfect for us. I would stay here again for any trip to the airport.

This hotel offers you a clean place to stay, nice breakfast, and kind and helpful staff! I have no hesitation to recommend this to anyone whether single, couple or families. Great value for budget conscious travelers!

So, first real review I have done where I was really dissatisfied with a hotel. Overall appearance is poor, old appearing hotel from outside. No elevator....or at least, none was pointed out. For the money there are local hotels for same or less $$ and are much more modern and offer more options. Floors squeaked when I walked on them. As I was in an upstairs room, worried about what was heard below when I walked.. Bath was old and very small. If you need a room in the area and this is your only option, ok. Room was clean. Bed was tired though.

The beds were very comfortable, spacious room with coffee pot, micro and fridge. It has a heated indoor pool and laundry facilities. The breakfast as more than adequate and tasty. Also, the location was great - only about 10 min from the Portland airport, and right across the street from a Trader Joe's and Fred Meyer and plenty of restaurant options within walking distance.

Had a pleasant stay at this property. The staff was wonderful. The area isn't very pretty but i wasn't there for the view. The beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was limited but they offered hot and cold choices.

Never again! After checking in in late night I realized my room was infested with ants (including the fridge) and that Internet had stopped working. Was offered a different room and only one out of three was acceptably clean. No attempt was made at checkout to make up or even address this experience; the only thing said by the poorly trained clerk after I brought it up was: "I will let them know" -- let who know, the maids or management?! Or was the clerk management? After leaving and realizing I may have left an unopened $60 bottle of wine in the first room I called the motel and asked them to check on it -- a different clerk answered the phone, and, after checking with "Ana, the GM", said unapologetically that it is their policy to discard of any liquids left behind. Is it their policy to also provide a horrible experience?! This Best Western ought to be a textbook case in terrible hospitality.

Room was okay, only one sink though. Breakfast area was much too small & food not available at times during the meal times. Nice warm indoor pool that we had to our selves, but no Jacuzzi. close parking on the side we were on.

This motel is centrally located and easy to get around town. It is a clean motel and the bed was comfortable. I think it was a little overpriced for the age of the property but I would stay here again.

This hotel looks like a typical middle-aged motel from the outside, but the inside was nicer than expected. I especially liked the service at the front desk. It was unpretentious, and the clerks were casual and seemed to want to help. The linens and furnishings in the room looked like they were recently updated. The room was clean and relatively quiet for a room with an exterior entrance. The hotel is conveniently located across the street from a restaurant or two and a Fred Meyer, so if you forgot anything, you can walk over. The only thing we didn't like was that people tend to smoke in the parking lot. We found a pile of cigarette ashes on our bumper.

The hotel was pretty empty and only rated two stars, so that should have told us something. However, it's in a convenient location, quiet as far as traffic is concerned though close to the highway, close to restaurants and a Trader Joe's. It was in the 50s, so cold. The heater in the room was loud and not very efficient. The beds had only one blanket, so I was cold. The Internet connection worked in the evening, but I gave up in the morning. Breakfast was good. The receptionist in the morning was less than helpful about the Internet.

This hotel is very clean, updated and well maintained. The rooms are large and well arranged. Breakfast was terrific. It's location is close to a busy intersection North of the Portland OR airport and to a commercial section of Vancouver, just off the I-205 freeway.

Was surprised how nice the hotel actually was. The property appeared to be well maintained. It is an older two story hotel. I had an accessible room. The shower only had a fixed shower head. A hand held shower head would have been nice. The fridge was much larger than what you find in most hotels. The microwave was the standard hotel size. The room was very clean. Not much in the way of sound proofing. Could hear the person in the room next to me talking on the phone. There is a major chain supermarket a couple blocks away. Several eating options in the area.

This was a nice hotel. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. The room and bed was nice and comfortable. It was located right off the freeway and was easy to get to. I would stay here again on my way south.

First stay here. Neighborhood is a little sketchy so if your a female traveling alone or concerned about that sort of thing you may want to look elsewhere. A few food options within walking distance but again we passed a homeless guy talking to himself and a few trucker types toting their six packs back to their rooms. This is an outside hotel meaning no interior hallways. The rooms themselves are nice. Looks like a recent update on everything in th room. The value overall was excellent but I suppose that is due to the area. About 15 min to the airport which was the purpose for my stay there.

Close to portland, close enough for university of Portland witbout parking hassle. VERY CLEAN and affordable. Breakfast is average. Easy to find near tons of restaurants and stores.Staff is friendly. Good choice.

Our experience began with the front desk employee, Rachel. She was particularly helpful since we were traveling late at night and had been having no luck finding a place to stay. The motel is not new, but it was clean. Since the motel is not right next to the Interstate, Rachel gave us specific directions to get to the motel.

My family and I wanted to get away for a night, and this was the perfect place! Breakfast was delicious, the rooms were comfortable, and there was even a coffee maker in our room! Highly recommend! 5 star!

We stay in the Vancouver/Portland area 1 or 2 times/year. This was our first time staying at this hotel. Overall we were quite satisfied - bed was comfortable, internet worked great, room was clean and quite spacious. Maybe it was just us but the breakfast just didn't appeal to us. Hotel is in a convenient location with restaurants and grocery store nearby. Small fridge, microwave & coffee maker (with supplies) were nice to have.

We stayed at the best western for 4 nights the rooms were spacious and clean .we had a fridge ,hob and all cooking equipment you would need if you wanted to cook yourself .We had BB and the breakfast was lovely my husband especially enjoyed the waffle making facilities .The hotel was in a good position for local shops .

I stayed at this hotel for 9 nights, and it perfectly suited my needs. The location is perfect, whether you're visiting Portland, Vancouver or places like Mt St Helens (about an hour northeast). The staff is very friendly, professional and on-the-ball. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in a highly-convenient location for a very reasonable price.

We stayed at the BW Inn of Vancouver for three nights on a family business trip and found the motel to be conveniently located, well staffed and professionally operated. The two rooms we rented were clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and the WiFi fast and reliable. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. The breakfast was the typical BW fare, the eggs, sausage and potatoes were kept warm and offerings included fresh fruit, toast, muffins and a variety of cold and hot (instant) cereals.

We have stayed in many Best Western's and this one was not the best. Room was the standard BW size, tidy and clean but the bedding was worn. The location was great and the road noise was not an issue as it is set back anyway. However, the room noise from other rooms is the worst we have had in a long time. I am not sure the last time we could clearly hear people's normal voice conversations, and other room's tv's which were not overly loud but just went straight through the walls. This was annoying and made for little sleep and I also felt a little bad if they could hear our tv on for our kiddo's early in the morning. Breakfast was the standard fare and a good to start the day. Service from staff was great and the snacks and hot drinks in the main foyer were a nice touch.

The location is within minutes from the freeway and unlike so many hotels - motels the location is very quiet so sleep comes easy in a very comfortable bed. the staff is very well trained, friendly, speedy and expert in their job. the room layout is very good too. The breakfast is much better then most compareable hotels and the breakfast room has enough room to not be crowded. there is adaquet parking.

Stayed here for 1 night as we were making our way to the Oregon Coast. The room was very clean and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was very good but would have liked a bit more selection.

I've stayed at almost all of the Best Western properties in Vancouver and Portland, OR and this is by far my least favorite so far. The bed sheets were overused and had the hard lint balls. The bathroom fan when turned on (comes on with the lights) vented cigarette smoke into the room, and finally the breakfast bar didn't seem to be restocked, maple syrup was empty, waffle mix was empty and the orange juice was empty. This was with one hour of breakfast remaining. Overall I recommend trying to stay at Pony Soldier Inn near the airport in Portland if you wish to stay at a Best Western property.

The hotel is two stories and does not have an elevator to the second floor. So if you have a lot of luggage ask for a ground floor unit. The rooms have been newly renovated with brand new plasma tv sets and beds. The room is clean and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is free and typical BW style with eggs, waffles and cereal. The rates where great and it is only about 10-15 minutes outside of Portland. The location is about 300 ft from the highway, but highway noise is not a problem. There are nearby restaurants, don't go to the Mongolian Barbecue restaurant. The buffet is $12, but the cook does not know how to cook. Hopefully, they either train the young man or fire him!

the location of the facitlity is ideal for my needs, the staff is very competant and friendly, the room itself is well disigned and the furniture and bed are of good quality, the bathroom is clean and the lumbing works like it should and the breakfast and the dining area re very good. the checkout went quite well too.

Spend a couple of days .Quiet location and close to Trader Joe's, Starbuck's. Best nights sleep; bed was so comfortable. Pool and Jacuzzi were relaxing. Would like to know if these beds are for sale. Excellent breakfast and friendly attentive staff.

Hotel rooms were clean with average comfortable beds (My ratings are always based on the comfort of the beds first). Breakfast was the usual Best Western affair. The hotel is located close to I205 which makes it convenient to get to Portland International airport. Overall I felt it was a very good hotel.

After a long drive from California heading to Vancouver BC, I was dead tired and needed a safe and clean place to stay, I just googled a place to stay overnight. Called up Bestwestern in Vancouver WA and got the place on very short notice. Coolest place to stay safe and friendly area, clean rooms and very friendly staff. Easy and quick checkin and check out. Cant be better.

I previous had said No More but with this new look, and fabulous bed-a four star bed-and the set up for handicap it was wonderful experience fr me and my service dog Squish. He loved being able t stretch out n the for by the big window and I love it when he's happy too!! I am a window of66 and felt s safe and seure---that is greaat.

We chose this hotel based on its proximity to the Portland airport and their summer promotion that earns you future credits when you have multiple stays. At $190/night it was more than we usually pay for nicer properties, but in this area it was a good deal, sadly. We flew into the Portland Airport having been up for 24 hours, arriving around 3 AM after weather issues delayed the last leg of our flight by several hours. When we drove up, we were a little worried that the set up of the hotel (outdoor access to rooms, cars parked in front of the rooms) would mean that the noise of people getting up and moving around in the morning - loading their cars, the doors slamming on their rooms, etc. - would wake us before we were ready to get up. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it wasn't a problem. We drove down to Crater Lake for the day and then back, spending a 2nd night in the same room. We spent very little time in the room, but it was clean and we slept well.

We book Room 110 every time we come to Vancouver to visit. This was our 3rd time in this room, and it's still a nice place to come to at the end of the day. King sized bed, jacuzzi tub (extra appreciated this time around), and a great location. Staff is always very nice, and Best Western breakfasts have really stepped it up (eggs, potatoes and sausage are very welcome). We will definitely stay here again next time!

Came rolling in late in the day, the room was ready and clean. Appreciated the professional and friendly staff at check in. Gave great directions for stores and food. The request for extra towels was responded to immediately with a positive and cheery attitude.

The room is clean, reasonably priced and not far from Portland. The only issue we had was with the breakfast. No fruit at all. The area is extremely cramped. The juice was of poor quality. I ate there the first morning, but went to Elmers (a block away) the next morning. They really need to improve this area of the hotel.

Even though this Best Western is not one of the newer ones, It is ideally located for flights at the Portland, Oregon airport, plus is close to a number of shopping areas and restaurants. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The rooms are nice and reasonably priced. Their Continental breakfast is well stocked and very good. Though we didn't use it they have a very nice pool.

We arrived early to check in and pay but we were told if we paid before checkout they would hold an extra $150 until then. Which I didn't understand why so we just paid at checkout. We got into the room before having dinner with friends. I went to use the bathroom and my husband went after me. The toilet had no force when flushing so after going poop it got clogged. They brought us a plunger and we took care of the problem. After returning from dinner my husband pulled back the sheets to get into bed and there was a public hair in our bed!!! It was on top of the fitted sheet. We called the front desk and informed them of what we found. They offered us new bedding (fitted sheet, top sheet and blanket) and we accepted. They gave us the new bedding and we had remake our bed (which in my opinion they should have done). We had a King size bed but they gave us bedding for a Queen. I called back down to the office and they brought us different sheets. This time there was no fitted sheet just two top sheets. I was tired and wanted to go to bed so we made it work. The blanket was for a Queen because they didn't bring a King when they replaced the sheets, but again we made it work because we were tired and didn't want to wait for the front desk again. In the morning I went to get a shower and the curtain was moldy at the bottom and the shower mat wasn't very clean either. Needless to say, we won't be staying at this hotel again.

One of the few places you can have a romantic night and still smoke while doing it!!! They have a nice pool too, but you have to go outside to get to and from it. Breakfast area is small, but good selection and again you have to go outside.

Our tv remote can't changed to any station so we called front line staff "Yuly" and she came with a brand new remote & fresh batteries and was able to fix it. Now our remote is fixed and can change to any stations. So to Yuly's Manager, she deserves a RAISE. Also BW WiFi doesn't work with BW password. Thank God we had our own WiFi and that is not fair to us. BW gave false advertisement concerning FREE WIFI.

When we arrived, we were greeted with a very friendly smile and looking forward to a great experience at this hotel. They have an indoor pool with the workout room. In our room, we had a fully functional refrigerator and microwave and everything worked almost perfectly. The only problem we had was the remote control on the television would not change channels but we could turn it off and adjust the volume. We called the front desk and Yuly probably came over and assisted in getting the remote control to work. She was very attentive in trying to figure out the problem and when everything was done, we were super happy that we didn't have to change rooms. Note to boss; You need to give her a raise! The area has a lot of eateries and a Fred Meyer's superstore close by. We simply walked around and looked at everything around. I highly recommend this place and I would definitely return when I'm in the area. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience.

The room was comfortable and clean. With Fred Mayer close and the refrigerator and microwave in room, was able to avoid restaurants and keep with good food choices. Was happy to see a hot breakfast with scrambled eggs and fresh fruit.

Stayed here 1 night, glad that was all, this motel isn't as good as the Motel 6 I stayed in at the Coast. Very much in need of refurbishing--chair and ottoman need redone, I didn't partake of the breakfast so can't comment on that, for the $100 price (for 1 person with AAA discount) this isn't a bargain!

We spent 2 days in Vancouver/Portland area. The Best Western was close to supermarkets, shopping, I-5 & access. Rooms were inexpensive, clean, quiet, well appointed. Assistant manager Anna dealt very firmly and well with a young profane guest who was disrupting our breakfast, making it clear this is a family place. We will stay there again.

I was satisfied with my stay at this location and will stay again. The rooms are nicer than the outside of the building lets on. Never judge a book by the cover goes for this hotel as well! Was able to get a good nights rest. We did not have a chance to eat the breakfast.

This Best Western is an older-style outdoor entry motel but has been nicely updated and well kept. The venue is well away from major roads and highways so is very quiet at night. It is a little hard to get to and from due to the center median on the adjacent streets, but this is not a major issue for travellers heading North. The breakfast area is quite small and compact and the electrical circuits were overloaded by the heating and cooking appliances. Staff did their best to reset breakers but were overwhelmed.

I was extremely pleased with the Best Western Inn of Vancouver! The room was clean and did not smell of smoke or strong air freshener, i.e.,it was designated as a non-smoking room, and it truly was (which is not always the case in some motels). The breakfast was excellent and well-exhibited. The area where it was located was quiet since it was a block off of the main street; however, it was conveniently located close to shopping and dining. It offered a very pleasant stay for a very reasonable price. I will definitely stay there again if I am in the Vancouver area.

For one, there was mold in the bathroom, there was a finish nail sticking out of the trim by the door handle, the pool needed to be cleaned, yellow stuff all over the stucco, and mostly of all needs to get rid of dial up net work, needs to get out of the 18th century and get into the the 21st century, could not even check in fro my flight with the computer the hotel has for customer service.Needs more of a healthy selection for breakfast, too many carbs right now. I will not be staying at this hotel ever again.

Nice place, quiet, clean and located centrally for food. Out of the way but located close to where I needed to go, Just don't head South during the rush hour in the morning and North in the evening. Older property but well kept. The only place I stay in Vancouver.

ok place, decent location, but bad products- i.e. combined shampoo/conditioner was terrible, no hand lotion at all and you have to ask for a hot cup jacket at breakfast. otherwise very average rating.

It is clean, friendly, close to freeways and shopping yet quiet. I use this hotel each time I go to see my sister or grandson. The staff is friendly, helpful and the facility has a beautiful pool and hot tub area.....did I mention the breakfast was excellent and well presented? It is all of this and more in my opinion

We stayed in the hotel one night during a pacific northwest vacation. The check-in service was excellent. The room was clean,and bed was comfy. We enjoyed having a drive-up room, for easy unpacking. We stayed in a whirlpool suite, on 1st floor which was really nice. Restaurants close by.

Hotel is in a good location being right next to the mall and shopping centers, close to a main highway and there are a lot of places to eat close by. It is a little hard to find as it's tucked away on the outer ring of the mall next to an office building and a residential neighborhood, but it is pretty quiet in the evening. The rooms are large, clean and in decent shape. Nothing luxurious, but everything you need is there. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the free breakfast is decent.

I would never star or recommend this property to anyone. There was no one at the front desk upon my arrival. Once someone showed up it was a 15 minute check in process due to the fact that the counter person appeared to not know what she was doing and had to make a phone call for help. This facility appeared to be a renovated Motel 6 not a true Best Western level of accommodation I have become accustomed to staying at in the many years of my both personal and business travel. Very disappointed after I built Best Western up to my wife as being a top notch lodging choice wherever you travel.

I was very disappointed. I would not stay at a Best Western again. I was having same day surgery the next day and the stay was so uncomfortable; not clean, poor quality. I would not recommend this one in Vancouver, Washington. Very poor all the way around.

I felt that the room was very clean, over all the hotel was clean and neat. The breakfast was the standard hotel breakfast, but still tasty, and the area was clean. The bed was comfortable, and the front desk brought us more blankets, no problem, late at night.

I always use that location with I travel to visit family in Vancouver. The staff is very friendly and the rooms well maintained and comfortable. I tries onother location before I found this one and have been staying here ever since. It is convient to PDX via I-205 and local shopping.

HD TV is available if you have your own cable. And want to stream from your own device. Otherwise, forget about it. Breakfast sucks. The girl at the desk couldn't be bothered to tell us about the amenities and don't think you can look in the welcome notebook other hotels keep in the room. It's an imaginary notebook. Towels were well used, scratchy & old. The shower temperature regulator was installed upside down in rm 104. You think you are adding cold water. No, you are giving yourself a third degree burn. The worst BW I have ever stayed in. The best part? LEAVING!!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is always clean. They have a decent breakfast with some variety. The beds are very comfy and the rooms are a nice size. Staff always greets me when I arrive and they have freshly baked cookies every evening.

This hotel has paper thin walls between the rooms which result in being able to hear everything in the adjoining room. During our stay the tenants of the adjoining room were loud and disturbing the entire night. A call to the front desk resulted in an insulting response with zero action on the part of the hotel. We canceled our stay immediately. Our Thanksgiving Holiday was ruined and we returned home exhausted.

The hotel is off the freeway, so easy access from Seattle or Portland. The room is simple, but clean. I like the location since all the shops and restaurants are nearby. Would come back to this hotel next time I'm visiting Portland, OR.

We stayed at this hotel because the price was just right for our budget and it includes the full breakfast with many choices. The bonus for us is that the room has a microwave, refrigerator and a very comfortable bed all in a setting that was very practical for us to use. We intended to use the indoor pool and fitness room but didn't arrive soon enough to get everything. Good value and service overall.

First the plus points: - friendly staff/reception - renovated big room - good bed and clean bathroom - fast reliable wifi The negative points: - thin walls so it can be noisy depending on your neighbors (our next door neighbors went "noisy" around 1am...) - mediocre complimentary breakfast (no fresh fruits/healthy options) - breakfast area only seats 16 people All that said it's a reasonable price for a motel from where you can visit Portland. We parked our car in one of the SmartParking garages and paid 13$ for the full day. If you stay outside peak traffic times you're there in about 20 minutes.

Nice and close to the Portland Airport. We stayed here when we couldn't get into our favorite at the airport. Walk to Elmer's; although the breakfast offered at BW Inn is more than adequate, it is typical BW fare. Location is certainly quieter than any airport hotel.

I can't thank the staff enough.. I came for the Twighlight run and being blonde had reserved my room for the day after I arrived, but no problem! My room was available (one of the last 3.. busy weekend) so I didn't even have to change rooms for the rest of my stay! Now THAT'S service!

I received a call from a Vancouver hospital that my Mother only had 24 hours to live. I live out of State so called the Best Western Inn since it was close to the hospital. I was told for my dates that I could receive a special hospital rate. My Mother ended up passing away while I was there so I didn't check my bill upon check out. Upon my checking my bank statement once back at home, I see I was charge WAY more than promised. When I called the hotel, I was just dismissed and told, rates can change anytime. I am a travel agent and have stayed in hundreds of hotels thru the years. I feel this only added insult to injury and would stay away from this hotel. I feel they double crossed me and didn't honor the rates as promised

On-site staff were extremely pleasant and professional. Reservations were made by calling the main 800 number listed online. Booking agent misspelled first and last name making it difficult for on-site staff to find reservation. Booking agent also made reservation for one night when we asked for two. Thankfully, on-site staff was able to locate another room for us for the second night. Although not a huge deal, we did have to pack up in the morning to move to another room. Generally, we wouldn't care, but when you are in town for an event that requires you to leave the facility at 6am, packing up your room is a bit of an inconvenience. Price: It has been years since I have stayed at a Best Western. This location came recommended, but honestly it is extremely overpriced. Based on my previous lodging experience, I'd expect to pay in the low $100 range instead of $170 for lodging for two. Especially, when you consider to location. When searching online this motel was advertised at a rate of $140, so I was a bit shocked to buy an additional $60 for my stay. Next time I'll probably just stay in downtown Portland at nicer hotel for the same price.
