Best Western Smithfield Inn

I decided to take a spare of the moment trip to the Carolina Outlets and afterwards I did not feel like driving back home to Virginia. I called to get some information and Chris answered the phone. Chris was professional, courteous, friendly and welcoming. When I checked in he was just as awesome! The hotel is VERY CLEAN, and fresh. The room was exceptionally CLEAN! The shower was PHENOMENAL!! Good nights rest. Whenever I am in the area this is my go to hotel! To the management of this hotel please recognize Chris for his awesomeness!!!

As life long Marriott members I tried Best Western Smithfield Inn since it's in the same location, we saved money and it had better reviews lately. Is it PERFECT, no, but it was a great nights stay. Room was VERY clean & quiet and I had a great nights sleep. If I compare the Marriott and this Best Western Smithfield Inn, the only real difference was in the amount you pay per night.

We checked in after a long drive and was happy to be there. The staff at the front desk were excellent and the check in process was a breeze. They were friendly and went above and beyond. Thanks to Chris, we felt welcomed, and he also called us later to see if our room was acceptable. 10 out of 10

The beds were fabulous .. soft yet firm , great pillows . The whole building smelled fresh and was so clean . It was a smaller hotel and we found it so quiet , just what we love. Your breakfast was exceptional as well, and the lady supervising it was a gem ❤️. Your location was perfect

We have stayed here several times on our way home from Florida. Front desk staff firiendly and professional. Rooms are clean. Continental breakfast is great and lots to choose from. Highly recommend. Outlets are close by. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Easy access off I95

It is the second time we stay at this Hotel and we're very happywith it...... Very nice location, very clean, staff is frendly and good breakfast....... Restaurants are in walking distace.......and if you like shopping outlet are close by.

Excellent all around. Impeccably clean, spacious room and bathroom. Beds were comfortable with a variety of pillows. Breakfast was a bit more limited than ideal but still very good. Highly recommend to anyone - it's much nicer than the others we have stayed in that area.

We needed a place to stay overnight during our travel to Florida. We randomly picked Best Western. The staff that greeted us are helpful and made our check in stress free. Noted clean facilities, and comfortable beds. The breakfast the following day was excellent.

Rooms are spacious, clean and beds comfortable! Breakfast is good! Staff is friendly! This is a repeat visit and we will definitely stay here again! There is plenty of shopping and resturants and even a movie theater that are close enough to walk to!

Hotel is very clean. Bed pretty good but pillows lacking. Toilet very low. Breakfast included and typical. Near rt 95 and nice and safe. We found a few places to eat close by. Coffee and tea available 24 hours a day. Pool is permanently closed. Many signs telling their many rules. Key was disabled every morning even though we were staying 2 nights. Okay for 1 night stopover on way back from FL

We stopped on our way back to Canada from Florida. The place was quite easy off the 95 but it is behind some of the other hotels off the Main Street. The staff were very friendly and gave some helpful advice to avoid the Texas Steakhouse restaurant nearby. We ignored the advice because we wanted to walk to a restaurant instead of driving. We should have paid attention to the advice. The restaurant food was definitely not good. The hotel was very clean, including even the breakfast room. The price was reasonable relative to the other hotels and the value. We would definitely stay again on our way/from Florida.

This property never disappoints us. They have hot breakfast. Very comfortable beds. And, plenty of restaurant selections nearby. The staff at the front desk are always courteous and helpful. The gym has very good equipment which are fully functional.

Very consistent hotel. Nice room and good breakfast. We have stayed here multiple times and will continue staying at this hotel in the future. Surrounding area also provides good shopping and food choices. Location is a bit challenging to access but not a reason not to stay at this hotel.

Staff was awesome. Clean rooms with super comfy beds. We were halfway home from Florida to Boston and needed rest. This hotel was clean and modern with very comfortable bedding. We've stayed in other hotels for this same trip each year and they were actually frightening so we will definitely be coming back here again next year.

This hotel is amazing. Second year in a row we stayed here while traveling. Close off I -95 but not directly adjacent to it so no highway noise. Plenty of parking and a friendly check in by Chris. Clean lobby, clean modern room with good mattress. Excellent shower and amenities. Very good breakfast and hot water for Tea as well as coffee available all the time. refrigerator in room and a small nightlight in the bathroom. Well thought out. Gas stations nearby and easy to get to. Shops and restaurants walkable. Cannot ask for more.

It's was clean and the employees were very nice. The room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The clerk was very helpful in talking about the local restaurants. Oh no, it was a great day. breakfast had hot pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon. there was all kinds of biscuits muffins milk, yogurt, all pretty nice breakfast.

We needed a 1 night stay on our return drive from northern FL to home in southern DE and this was a little more than 1/2 way. I was looking for a hotel with easy on/off to I95 and as it turned out, I had enough points to pay for a room, so free was even better. It was a great hotel - close to shops/restuarants/starbucks! We would definitely stay here again on our trip north/south next year. Comfy bed, clean room and quiet.

Clean, updated, friendly, easy, pleasant in every way for an overnight along the road. The coffee was decent, and breakfast was fresh and refreshed frequently. We were surprised by the train whistles towards midnight, but that was the one and only time we noticed them.

Hotel was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Appeared to be recently renovated. Rooms clean and nicely decorated, clean bathroom, good selection on TV, clean lobby and breakfast area with a good variety of items. Outside area was clean. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Reasonably priced. We stayed on a Sunday. It is also a nonsmoking, non-pet facility.

Clean rooms and very nice and helpful staff. Have stayed there many times and will continue. Check in person very professional and was competent in checking in the large number of people who arrived at the same time. Breakfast area very clean and staff helpful.

The rooms were clean and equipped with microwave, refrigerator, and adequate towels and wash cloths. I especially liked it was No pets allowed. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from as well as an outlet mall and cinema.…………………..

Everything was very clean. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was great and had a nice variety. Motel was right off the interstate and had plenty of parking. We liked that the bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner and body wash located in pumps in the shower.

This was the cleanest and least expensive hotel we have stayed in driving down I-95. The staff was always smiling and always asked if there was anything they could do for us or to get for us. There were plenty of parking spaces in the lot. There were several different types of restaurants around the hotel to choose from. Some were within walking distance.

Stayed here on my way down south from Northeast as a family of 5. Found the hotel to be very clean with big rooms and comfortable beds. However, upon check in we were told we'd have to book two rooms since we were 5 people. My children are 8,6, and 4. We have stayed at many hotels and have never had this issue. This policy was not listed on their website and caused my family to have to be split up during our travels. Due to this policy we were forced to choose another hotel for our journey home. This is a real shame as we make this trip once a year and will not be able to stay here again.

Great spot to rest for the night on our journey south. Convenient location with restaurants nearby. We have stayed here many times and find it the perfect place to stop after a long day B of driving. I'm sure this won't be our last time. Best western is our go too hotel !

The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was ok but no sausage or bacon was available to eat with my eggs. The bonus was the house keeper who clean the room amazing. The hotel was very quiet. Next time in Smithfield I'll choose Best Western

I'm not usually a Best Western customer due past experiences. I was pleasantly surprised by this property. Clean & modern, beds & pillows very comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I look forward to our stay on our way home

Mary serves a wonderful breakfast. The eggs were so fluffy! She keeps everything filled and so clean. Chris, at the front desk, was very welcoming! He was pleasant and professional. He helped reset our door to make a work properly. Thank you!

Very, very clean, rooms, hallways and eating area. No odors at all. We stayed 4 nights and room was attended to daily. Also, even with the proximity close to I95, there was no highway road noise. We will be coming back on our next trip to the area.

Good Stay..friendly staff...only complaint is the breakfast...same thing every time we stay their...at least 4 times a year on our way to our winter home. Powdered eggs, sausage patty..needs a little variety...breakfast sandwich,omletes anything different.

The hotel is very clean and the staff is great. Chris at the front desk is terrific he makes you feel welcome. The woman who oversees the buffet breakfast keeps it spotless and well stocked. The rooms are clean with a fridge and microwave and a keurig coffee maker. Coffee is available all day in the lobby. All in all a perfect hotel.

The room was nice, the rate was reasonable and the staff was great. One of the better continental breakfast I've had, the omlete was a nice surprise. Would definetly stay here again. If you're in tarea and need a room, give them the chance to serve you.

All staff were pleasant. Front desk personnel were exceptional. The hostess who took care of breakfast was kind and friendly. The extra towels were appreciated. We have stayed at four other hotels in this complex over the last two years. None compare.

front desk manager Chris he is best great guy goes the extra mile , love the breakfast very friendly good food and they have coffee all day long . I like the first floor easy to get to the car bring in luggage . Chris makes that happen he even calls us after we settled in to make sure we are happy and asked us if we need any thing . easy parking . Love the rooms very very clean , Steve and Pat from Mass .

The checkin person was a smart aleck and not particularly enjoyable. The place is in need of renovation as its age is really showing. Would probably not go back on my next trip. Which is a shame because I do like the location

Everything was exceptional from services to the rooms and the price. Only 1 thing threw it off was no use of the pool. I would definitely come and stay here again when I'm here in town,hopefully in the near future.

My wife and I really enjoyed our 1 night stay. Room was clean, beds were comfy, and shower water pressure was fantastic. It was nice and quiet just how we like it. Breakfast was just enough to get our day started. We will definitely stay next time we come through here.

We always stay at the Best Western in Smithfield when we are headed to the Carolina beaches. It is clean, comfortable and a good value. The breakfast was quite good. The woman working on the breakfast was so polite and thorough. I wish I knew her name. She was a gem!

Conveniently located to 95 and family. The front desk staff and housekeeping are friendly and considerate. Family members come to our room to visit with no problems. The free breakfast is super. With three hot items-fried potatoes, sausage and eggs- plus cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, waffles, oj, apple juice, cranberry juice, milk, bagels, toast, muffins and cut fruit to choose from you certainly should not go away hungry. Don't forget the unlimited coffee available 24 hours. Our room has always been clean and fresh and we have stayed here multiple times over the years.

Could have given it a 5 if the cable hadn't been out and there were larger TVs in the room. Large room with a very small TV. They are so cheap now, I don't understand why you don't fix this. Think about it.

But at this property Mr. Patel runs it pristinely. Immaculate, with ALL amenities working - spotless - fresh - and with a shower that actually has water pressure that washes you....if you take showers. MR. Patel's property a simple BW is, in our opinion as good, if not better than Best Western Pluses ('s). I've stayed at many hotels during my military and civilian career. The BW in Smithfield, NC is one of the nicest I have stayed at. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful and the room was great. You can tell housekeeping takes pride in delivering a clean, comfortable room to the guests. I'll be staying here the next time I'm in town,

Jerry was wonderful. The room was everything I needed and comfortable and clean. The shower was excellent. The room was large and by the elevator. Jerry made sure to ask if that was okay for me before he gave me the room.

Great stay! Staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast had a great selection of food and drinks. Staff kept area fully stocked and clean. Area restaurants offered a discount by showing your room key. Definitely recommend this hotel!!

Clean rooms. Shower was great. Complimentary shampoo, body wash and hair conditioner were available in squeeze bottles inside shower unit. Beds were comfortable and while completely subjective, not too soft, not too firm. Breakfast was great with good variety of food choices. Will continue to stay there on trips south.

Very clean. Very Luxurious for the price you pay. Good Breakfast with plenty of eggs. Friendly staff. Convenient location close to restaurants. Washrooms were clean and plenty of shampoo & soap (more than other hotels). The only caveat was that the pool was closed.

This was a one night stay. We stopped here on our way back to New York From Florida. Front desk staff was very polite, helpful and friendly. Room was spacious, clean, modern, beds were very comfortable, bathroom clean, big and a good shower. We would stay here again.

We always stay at this hotel on our way to/from Florida. They have the most comfortable beds, which is something we always look forward to. They are also great about accommodating my husband's service dog.

We arrived late without a reservation. The desk clerk was cordial and found a first floor room for us at a good rate and supplied bottles of water as I am a rewards member. We have stayed in several Best Western facilities, but this was the best so far. Clean, spacious room. Beds comfortable. Everything worked. The breakfast was quite good and the room spotless. Would recommend and will stay again ourselves.

Nicer than some of the more expensive hotels right there in that shopping area. Super convenient location with lots of food options. Easy to hop on and off 95. Stay is always incredibly nice and the beds are actually comfortable!

This hotel is always very clean & the room is huge. It's convenient from I95 & the staff is friendly. The breakfast is good & there are many places for dinner in walking distance. You even get a discount at some for showing your room key. It's a great value for the price & I make it a point to stop here whenever I travel north now.

Well-cleaned room and bath. 9 out of 10 for the breakfast choices. Breakfast available from 6:30 to 9:30. Well rested after a great sleep. Did not hear other any noise from other occupants or the hallway. Checkout at 11:00 AM.

We love staying at this hotel. Whenever we are in Smithfield, we stay here! The front desk staff always very nice and friendly. The rooms are always clean and the breakfast is good. I just wish the pool was open.

The rooms are really clean, the staff is friendly, location is perfect. Breakfast is free. Has a big parking lot, so no worries about trying to find a parking space. One of the best options for hotel search. Definitely, we will visit again.

We have been traveling from PA/NJ to Florida for eight years. Of all the places we stayed This hotel is the best. It's clean, comfortable and welcoming. And the price is great. The staff is so kind and friendly and go out of their way to make your stay the very best it can be. They tell us that the owner is committed to providing a top quality hotel, and he has succeeded. We have planned our trips around staying at this location. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very clean and beds comfy. Nice staff would stay again. Lots or restaurants around it. Just off highway which was very convenient. Looks like it was renovated at some point or fairly new hotel. Good place to stop for the night.

Great location, good hot breakfast choices, and the staff is very friendly. Conveniently located off I-95, with restaurants and gas stations right there. The only problem is that the roads around the hotels, restaurants and theaters is like a maze, which isn't the hotel's fault, but whoever designed it should be fired.

Pros: The place was clean and mostly quiet. The room was already warm when I checked in. No trouble with check in. There was no waiting. Easy to find everything that I needed. Cons: The old remote was sticky like a cleaning solution had degraded the plastic housing. The mattresses were sunken.

This hotel was right off 95 so very convenient to get to. We were greeted warmly upon checking in! Room was clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. A full breakfast is offered and coffee is available all day!

Great location, nice bedding. Very clean decor. Lovely bright clean breakfast. With a dedicated staff person to clean tables and replenish dishes. Eggs were hot and fluffy. Lots of choices to choose from.

I travel to visit family a lot and this is a great half way point for me to stop. There's a lot of hotels in this area because it's right off 95 but this one is the best. Always clean, friendly staff, bigger rooms and quiet. I made a mistake once and stayed at another on close to it because of the price and it was awful and I learned my lesson. I highly recommend this hotel.

From start to finish this hotel is the best! Great staff, great breakfast, close to everything, secluded, quiet, and the rooms are cleannnnn. We loved it and will be back very soon. You will not be disappointed!!!

This was a very clean hotel!! The young ladie at the desk recommended a Mexican restaurant that was excellent!! Very friendly check in and check out!! Will definitely stay there again when we are traveling!!

Rate advertised not met with stupid excuse given -unacceptable in my opinion . Some garbage about advertised rate in millions of pamphlets only if you have a coupon?? Really - doesn't say that anywhere and I was too tired to look elsewhere but that's not how you conduct business!

It was as described. Clean room and a friendly staff. Breakfast is nice and early. The give plenty of food choices. I will stay again at this location. My family had no complaints. We stayed at the busiest time of year. The parking lot was safe and secure. It was clean and well lit.

We stopped in for 1 night on our drive down to Florida from MA. Hotel was clean, room was spacious and updated. The kids did find the small TV rather funny. Free breakfast was hot and tasty. Coffee was delicious. Location right off the highway was very convenient and had We arrived earlier, we could have taken advantage of some outlet shopping right next door.

This property is a hidden gem. Clean, modern and centrally located to a variey of restaurants. Crystal, at the front desk, was professional, friendly and knowledable. She made our on phone reservation and check in a breeze. We will be stopping again for sure.

This was our first night stop on the drive to Florida. Everything was first rate from start to finish. The front desk clerk, Chris, was pleasant and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable and included good quality toiletries. The breakfast spread in the morning was good - scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes, make your own waffles, yogurt, cereals, muffins, bread, fresh fruit and juices. There was a lovely staff person there keeping everything filled and the area neat. The parking lot was very well lit and felt safe. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Excellent facility, staff and overall experience. Very comfortable beds! The clerk at the front dest was most friendly and accomodating, including making a local dining recommendation that was excellent.

Nice place. Close to outlet mall. The place was clean and had a great breakfast. It was a great midway stop from Mississauga to Orlando. The roads were a bit confusing to get around with the round about and lanes confusing us. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from.

Friendly helpful staff. Clean comfortable rooms at affordable prices! The particular hotel is located near many restaurants and shopping opportunities. The hot breakfast is great, with an attendant there to help guests and replenish food and drink as needed.

Arrived at around 9PM, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and warm. The hotel is located in the midst of a good variety of places to eat. It's the prefect stopping point for the long distance traveler. Will stop here again.

Stayed here one night on our way to Pennsylvania. Girl who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Room was large and updated Most importantly room was very clean. Only two things tv was too small. Even though only there for one night after dinner like to relax with tv. Also can hear tv in room next door. I think since tv's are back to back the sound vibrates or the people in the other room could not hear. I would stay here again. We have stayed in other hotels in Smithfield and they can't compare. The price was also reasonable and the lady at breakfast was very helpful and sweet.

We were looking for a Hampton Inn in Smithfield. We could not find it so we chose Best Western. We were so happy less money than Hampton and everybody as nice. Will for sure stay there again on our next trip to Charleston S.C.

This place exceeded my expectations. The staff At the front desk was helpful and friendly from the time we arrived until when we left. The king room was large and very clean - great breakfast included. Highly recommend!

The clerk who checked me in had a great personality and was very efficient. He explained everything from breakfast, wi-fi, and the discounts given by some area restaurants. I had my husband stay with me the first night as his schedule had changed for going back on the road, and he enjoyed the breakfast the next morning. The hotel was clean and well maintained. I would definitely recommend for anyone who is traveling down I-95 looking for a place to stop, or someone going to Smithfield or Selma for shopping or entertainment.

Clean building, comfortable room and bed, great friendly staff. Near lots of restaurants and outlet stores. A fair price by today's standard. Breakfast was very good and the "young lady" was right on top of things keeping food topped off and always cleaning the food area. Will stop there again forsure.

Clean, comfortable, quiet, friendly staff. One minute from I95 close to restaurants and shops. Guests receive a 10 percent discount at local restaurants. There is a large outlet mall adjacent to the motel.

Super clean room with comfortable bed and pleasant, but not overwhelming, smell. Quiet AC. Great location near several good restaurants. Plenty of shopping including outlet stores. Very welcoming lobby staff. We enjoyed the breakfast.

Nice stay. Love the breakfast lady. Night desk guy very pleasant and helpful as was the morning desk gal. Room very clean. 1sr floor next to the elevator is a noisy room as you can hear the people on the lobby and the front desk staff right through the wall. I dont reccommend those rooms.

My husband and I recently traveled to smithfield for me to do a weekend class at JCC. The stay at best western was a good experience for us. Its located in a convenient area of smithfield. Endless restaurants within walking distance and very close to the college! Our room smelled great! Their breakfast was great! The beds were comfy! The staff was friendly and helpful! Great place to stay!

Excellent place to stay. In this are there are many hotels to choose from. I have stayed at several due to business travel. Best Western is far above the others. Value at the Best Western is the best. I will go out of my way to stay at the location.

Awesome place. Staff is super friendly and the place is spotless. You can tell that CLEAN and Friendly is just the way they do business. The breakfast is great also. I just can't say enough about this place. There is plenty to do nearby.

Outstanding location within walking distance to the outlets and very close to DeWayne's. DeWayne's is a must visit, check it out and see for yourself. The BW was very comfortable, clean and well appointed and a fantastic shower. We did not eat breakfast.

Clean room, very comfortable bed, nice layout with ample space. Great breakfast and friendly staff. However, the ice machine on the first floor dispensed ice with leaf material frozen inside. Not in one cube but in several. Very strange.

We found our room clean and comfortable. The beds were great. Ice machine one floor away but not a problem. The business center had plenty of work spaces. The breakfast was tasty and nutritious with multiple options for differing taste and dietary needs. The staff was very friendly and check-in/check-out was very easy. Multiple lunch and dinner choices nearby and a great park down the road if you want some fresh air and shade trees. Will stay again.

Beds were comfy. Refrig took all night to get cold so ice packs for trip could not be frozen. Breakfast wasn't excellent. Never had generic cheerios in any hotel. Tried them but they tasted like cardboard. Waffle was great though.

The staff were very kind and courteous. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The bathroom was spacious as well. The breakfast area was well kept and stocked. While we could only stay one night I would gladly stay here again for multiple nights. Thank you! This makes me proud to continue to be a Best Western customer.

At first glance, the hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, the interior walls appear to be made of cardboard. The noise is unbearable, and there are finger-thick gaps in the room's door. When I complained about it in the morning, the manager acted like he was deaf.

The bed and pillows were the best I've experienced in a hotel. I never slept so well! The hotel is located next to restaurants, outlet shopping plaza, and located close to I-95. It's a good place to stop for a night.

Wow! What a great overnight experience! We were traveling through the Smithfield area and for the first time chose the Best Western. I was not expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised when we checked in. The front desk rep, Krystal, was cheerful and engaging. When I mentioned my spouse and I were traveling to see grandkids, and I asked whether a King room might be available (we had reserved a less expensive 2 Queen room), she gave us a complimentary upgrade. The room was very clean and all furnishings in great shape... and seemed relatively new. The complimentary breakfast also over delivered. Kudos to Best Western Smithfield on a well run operation.

Hotel was clean and well cared for. I was surprised it was 15 years old, it looked newer. Room was very clean and beds comfortable. In a good area for dinner. 10% off for some of the close restaurants. Clerks were very helpful and friendly. Price for Sunday night was good value, used this hotel on return trip was much higher. It was a Friday night.

To be upfront I have had a bad stay at a Chicago Best Western but I knew this hotel was new so I gave it a shot. Glad I did. Very clean hotel and room was immaculate. Staff was great. Hotel is walking distance to numerous restaurants and very close to 95.

I chose this hotel as it is just off of the #95 corridor and is a perfect stopping place. I had a room on the top floor toward one end and it was perfectly quiet and very clean. The staff was professional, kind and always polite. Glad I made this choice!

Booked a room during a road trip on the way back home. Was pleasantly surprised with how clean everything in the hotel was. The “continental breakfast” was more than I imagined. A make your own waffle station is always a bonus. Everyone was kind and helpful and I would definitely stay here again!

We've stayed here before and my in-laws have too. The beds are extremely comfortable and I love the built in hairdryer in the bathroom because it has 3 heat settings along with 3 speeds. Plus the holder has a built in nightlight with a dimmer switch. The room has a nice size refrigerator and a microwave. Good breakfast and very clean. We eat at the local steakhouse within walking distance and get a discount with our room key. I was only disappointed to learn that the indoor pool was closed because I liked to take a quick swim after all day in the car.

I did not do to much researching before booking this hotel. I just needed a place in middle of home and home and my destination. I'm so happy I found this hotel. Very clean. Staff was pleasant and informative. Room was large and spacious. I would definitely stay here again.

This motel was a very pleasant surprise! In town for business, I did not expect the level of cleanliness. From the parking lot to my room, it was all spotless! A first since Covid, my room was cleaned nightly. Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating.

We stay at this hotel every time we go to NC. It's always very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection is good. The only down side is the pool was closed and we go swimming.

After a long road trip we stopped here for the night and was met with the friendliest staff member; quick check in, lots of restaurants within walking distance and 10% off showing hotel key; room was clean and beds were comfortable. Nice breakfast the next day to send us on our way and staff kept the area very clean.

Staff is always welcoming and the 10% discount for near by shops help everyone. Parking is free. The rooms are clean . Breakfast is hot. Check in easy . The outlet near by is great too . I have stayed here a few times . I would return.

Enjoyed the large room size and entire hotel was very clean. TV small for size of room. Almost got dumped out of desk chair twice. Really tilts back. Wish fridge had a freezer compartment. Bed was comfortable. Restaurants within walking distance offered a 10% discount with show of room card. Night clerk was very friendly, helpful and informative as was breakfast attendant. Had to drive around some to find the hotel. Confusing area in the dark.

Our room was large and clean room. We found the 30” TV to be a bit small for such a big room. Fridge, microwave were good amenities. Check-in was fast and efficient. Good variety of breakfast foods. Hotel is in a great location immediately off I-95, and within walking distance to restaurants and close to Premium Outlets.

I did stay for 2 nights. The staff was very friendly and did everything to satisfy me. I had very nice talks to the guy at the front desk, he did gave me great tips where to go. The room was very nice and the breakfast very good.

This is one of the “best” Best Western hotels that I have had the opportunity to visit. The place is beautiful and very clean. The hotel staff are very nice and check in was quick and efficient! Checkout was very easy with only having to place the key in a locked box. My only quirk but really a non-issue was getting the AAA discount only for it to be taken back in “fees”. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this location and would stay again if I needed to do so.

Was traveling over the weekend and Smithfield, NC was my half-way point. I was traveling alone and felt very safe and comfortable at this location. Bed was comfortable and room was very clean. Definitely would stay again.

When we arrived sign said pool was permanently closed, not that big a deal for my trip . Other than that room was very clean and a very reasonable price for a change. Gentleman at front desk very friendly and informative. Hotel close to highway, quick on and off and a lot of restaurants nearby.

Very noisy refrigerator. We had to shut the refrigerator down to sleep. The towels were not exactly luxurious. This motel was being used by working people away from home. The breakfast area was cramped, the breakfast potatoes were cold and the scrambled eggs were soupy. However, the location is accessible to the interstate, our room was reasonably clean and the cost was appropriate. We would stay here again.

Driving many miles and Smithfield, NC was our 1/2 way point, we stayed at this Best Western 2x's, going to our destination and back. It was clean, staff was wonderful and the free continental breakfast was good. This will be my go to hotel on my next trip up north

The gentleman who checked us in was phenomenal. Super pleasant and helpful. We have a large family and needed three rooms last minute and he was able to supply them at a great rate. The rooms were spotless the beds were comfortable and the pillows were perfect. It was our first time visiting a best Western and we will definitely be going back. I also need to mention that the continental breakfast was the best one we've had at any hotel.

The room was extremely clean. The bed very comfy and the pillows wow, felt like clouds. The continental breakfast was also satisfying. Very convenient right off I-95. We stayed one night on our road trip from NYC to Palm Coast Florida. This Best Western at Smithfield is a perfect stop in your trip to Florida since this is the mid-way point getting to FL. I will book another night on my way back from Florida to NYC at the end of June 2022.

We dropped in around 9:00 p.m. without ant reservations. The gentleman at the desk was friendly and very helpful (I wish I could remember his name).The room was nice and clean. Free hot breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, and potatoes was delicious! I would absolutely go back to this hotel.

Very professional front desk staff. The room was huge and very clean. Lots of pillows. The breakfast the next morning was great. Complete selection from yogurt, waddled, eggs, sausage and potatoes. The best thing about breakfast tho was the personable delightful young lady in charge of the buffet. Very engaging with the customer and professional. Had to find young people with such a positive attitude. Especially that early in the morning. What a delight!

Went there because they were in a coupon book at tbe state welcome center. When I got to the hotel, the sign said they were not accepting coupons and the room price was 50 more a night than the advert quoted. However, nice location and clean facility convinced me to stay

got to Motel at 6pm and a sigh was posted on the front desk "NO COUPONS". After a 10 hr drive I decided to pay the going rate. Desk person said that they were almost filled but I could get a room at standard rate. Corporate GREED still in effect while we suffer. Breakfast was above the usual's ho hum

We couldn't be happier with our stay here. The area was safe and there were lots of restaurants and stores to go to if you wanted. Our room and bathroom was spotless and the whole place was very clean and well kept. Breakfast was nice and the staff was polite and friendly. A definite keep for our next trip back home from FL.

The room we were given for three persons (adults aged 70+) did not have enough chairs for everyone to sit! This room should have been about six feet wider in order to allow for space to sit four people. The room had two queen size beds, but only one chair and a desk chair for four people to sit! It was good that we only needed the room for ONE night!

This hotel is easy to get to off Route 95. It has many restaurants close by,so you have many options for food. There is an outlet mall nearby. There is not a lot of gas stations around the hotel. Getting in into hotel easy but getting out you have to drive around a bit, but it does bring you at a signal light.

Customer service was very friendly and helpful and the bed very comfortable. If I'm passing by again I will absolutely stay here! They are professional and kind. They have free breakfast in the morning and coffee 24 hours a day. Nice place! Pristine actually.

My mom and I chose this hotel not only for the price but also because of the amazing reviews that seemed too good to be true! First time staying here and will definitely be back. Our room was very clean and didn't have any weird smells! As someone who has very sensitive skin, asthma, and sensitive sinuses, finding a clean place to stay is always so difficult but this place was beyond our expectations. The beds were clean and very comfortable and the shower was also very clean. Breakfast was great and the staff is amazing and friendly. They wipe down each table after use for you and constantly restock breakfast items. I'm super glad we found this place.

We had a coupon, stopped and they said we are sold out. I said I was a BW Rewards member and my iPad showed rooms available. So I asked if there were any rooms available again. No they were sold out. I went outside, pulled up BW website, saw vacancies and walked back in and said if I tap this button it says you have a room. “Oh well, do that,. “ we were in a room in less than a minute. No apology, no explanation. It is one thing to say all coupon rate rooms are gone, but it is another thing to lie and tell me they are completely sold out. I guess my lesson is to trust my computer more than the person at the front desk. No apology from them. Weird interaction all around after we had just driven 900 miles.

We were traveling back to NY . The young lady at the front desk was very nice. We requested a first floor room which she provided. The reason I gave four is I would love to have a King size bed instead of two queen.

Of the many BW my wife and I visited this one takes the pot. Great rooms, great people, good food good price. The rooms were redone with great attention to the traveler. All we needed was there and working fine. Considering the staff problem, this place surely does not suffer from it, people are just very nice and helpful. Fore certain even if we have to do a little more miles we shall return......

We had a good time staying at the best Western in Smithfield we were in town for a high school reunion it's right in the outlet center it's close to a lot of nice dining spots a lot of local shopping and overall we had a great experience the breakfast was OK and the pool was Harbor close for whatever reason I'm not sure we asked if it was Covid they just said no because it wasn't used enough but I think that they should somehow figure out a way to absorb that expense because that is an attribute that I like to utilize when I go on trips at best western

the gentle man that checked me in after my horrible experience on I-95 was reassuring that i was now safe. he explained what time the continental breakfast and the check-out time was. it was very quiet and away from the road.

Liked everything about this hotel, pleasant staff, quick breakfast and walking distance to area restaurants. Only negative was the 600 lb elephant in the room above us and the creaking ceiling. No one at the desk at checkout, dropped our keys in the box.

We find this to be an excellent stop in out travels. This was at least out 3rd stay here and we will be back. The location, access, and parking are great. Staff at check-in/check-out and breakfast were all super. The rooms are clean and pleasant. Very spacious. All amenities are very good.

Surprisingly enough, our room in the Smithfield Best Western is very similar to many of the Best Western Plus hotel that we have stayed in. The room was large, well furnished and super clean. If we stay in Smithfield again we will certainly stay here!

Stayed here coming home from visiting family. This newly renovated property was unreal. Friendly staff, fresh, well appointed rooms. Clean, quiet, this motel is the real deal complete with a nice breakfast buffet. Will stop here again!

We are snowbirds and were headed back to Pennsylvania. We needed a 1 night stay while traveling. This hotel had everything we needed. It was quiet, clean and convenient. The breakfast was a great time saver as we wanted something quick before we headed out for a day of traveling. My husband commented that the eggs actually tasted like "real eggs". There was a fridge, and a microwave in the room, and a working ice machine on our floor (2nd). I can't tell you how many times we have traveled and have been unable to find a working ice machine. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even had a bottle opener for us to borrow.

Grounds we clean, Chris at the front desk was welcoming and friendly, hotel smelled like lemons when we walked in, and our room was nice and clean. There were more than enough shopping and food places to choose from. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The worst experience we've ever had. Booked the room with them online through Hotels.com: one 2 queen beds room. Drove from MA for 14 hours to NC. Got to the hotel exhausted after a long road trip got there at 9:00 pm and they denied me my reservation. The reason was that I had 5 people instead of 4, which were my husband and I and our 3 kids: 11, 9 and 4 year old, even though on the description it stated “kids stay free when share the same bed with parents. So because I never included my 4 year old toddler, which shares the bed with me and fits perfectly fine they said that I should have booked 2 rooms. They won't offer any cots or roll up beds. So put me and my family out at 10 pm by then to look for other options. My kids were in tears. I was almost in tears but had to keep my cool not to scare my kids. Thanks to God hotel next door to them Comfort Inn was our savior - they had available rooms. They had exactly the same room types: 2 queen beds which were perfectly fine to book for a family of 5 for no extra charge. They were genuinely surprised when they heard our story about Best Western strict “2 people per bed” policy and the fact that just because of a 4 year old toddler we had to book 2 rooms as opposed to 1 room which buy the way had never been a problem before anywhere else in US, including other Best Western hotels. I would call this place Worst Western. They lost me as their customer.

We stopped here on our way home from Florida. The hotel was just far enough away from 95 that you couldn't not hear the traffic but close enough for access. The staff was friendly and the beds were very comfortable. Close to restaurants and stores I would stay here again.

This is our preferred stop when travelling to and from Florida. This hotel is just off the I-95. It is clean, quiet and next to shopping outlets and restaurants. Would highly recommend and will stay there again.

Well lit parking lot to begin with. Personnel were more than happy to help with knowledge of the area. Bath and Room itself was clean. Room was very quiet. We will be back in the future. Bed was comfortable. A good amount of towels in the room for bathing.

Excellent nights sleep every time. This facility is clean and comfortable with an excellent staff. When travelling to and from Florida, we use this B/W as our mid-point stop. It never disappoints. Although the breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, you can always find something appealing.

This had to be one of the best hotel experiences we have had . We simply loved being there after a long day of driving. We would stay here again when we pass thru again. Tried to get into a different hotel but was sold out and we were directed to this one .

Wife wanted to go shopping ( I hate shopping) . Smithfield is an easy drive for us and I can always find something interesting to do there. I am familiar with the Best Western there and it is one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed at.. That makes choosing a place to stay very easy. Thanks to all the staff.

This property Best Western in Smithfield is a great place to stay. They take very good care of you. The property is very well kept. I pulled up at the Holiday Inn Express and drove off and stayed at this property cause it stood out better to me.

This property is a really refreshing stop off of I-95...as stated very-very clean, modern, safe, convenient, quiet, and just an overall perfect stop. The only drawbacks still NO POOL - NO BREAKFAST - AND NO BUSINESS CENTER....maybe someday our treasured CHINESE COVID VIRUS will cease being an excuse!Q!

Snowbirds headed home from our winter stay in Florida and we always choose the Best Western in Smithfield, N.C.. The hotel is located in an area off I-95 with gas stations, restaurants, movie theater, outlet and more. The hotel is nicely decorated, clean, a satisfying breakfast and friendly staff. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. A great stay for a reasonable cost….great value.

Property is immaculate! Guest room was in great working order and very clean including around beds and night tables and all corners of floors. Check in was smooth and clerk made sure to provide info regarding dining out, internet password and breakfast.

We stay here going and coming when we head south for vacation. We can make our ferry connection on time from here so it a good place for us. Plenty of food places and stores near the hotel. Rooms, service and breakfast always good. Everything works at this hotel. Was disappoint that the computer room was closed this time. Desk person said they were updating the equipment in it. Shower very good pressure. Will be staying here again.

We needed an overnight stay while on a road trip. The rooms were large and very clean. It was nice an close to several places to eat and easy access to the highway. Front desk clerk was so friendly and helpful.

This was the nicest hotel we have stayed at off of route 95 traveling from New Jersey. The hotel was impeccable. It was very clean with updated furnishings. Starting with the gentlemen who checked us in to check out, the experience was beyond my expectations. Do not hesitate to stay at this Best Western. I highly recommend it.

Great place to stay, lots of rules. They are pretty strict about a lot of things. . No pets etc. I felt discriminated when I couldn't use their travel coupons because they don't apply to handicapped. ( I'm in a wheelchair) Otherwise very clean, great breakfast

Our stay was very pleasant. The room was super clean and a great value. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would totally book this hotel again. The bed was a little soft in my opinion, but that seems to be the norm in most hotels these days.

You get 5 stars cause it's super clean and affordable. This is the most important thing for me. I would highly recommend! My only real complaint is that you have the worst pillows ever. Everything else was great and the staff was very nice and polite.

Great service and the staff was very friendly and helpful! From the night clerk who checked us in to the person who was setting up breakfast. The breakfast choices were great and varied! The only downside was whoever was located in the room above us and was walking very heavy half of the night. Not the fault of the hotel employees, and once I fell asleep I didn't hear it anymore!

Clean rooms, great service. A good breakfast. easy on, easy off from 95. Front desk staff very helpful and pleasant. Many resturants within walking distance. They were able to get us an accessible room at the last minute and it was perfect. All in all a great stay.

Stayed here several times during the past 5 years. The reason? Because the accomodations are first class. Rooms are uptodate with fabulous beds. Walls and carpets are clean and look new ly cared for. Plenty of towels. The shampoo and soap is a lux brand and plenty of it. (I use at home because of finding it at BW) Staff is very friendly, especially Chris. Breakfast is similar to others, but done with a smile and good morning by person in charge. She made sure everything was fresh and filled constantly. They have cut deals with local restaurants for discounts on meals. Price is very good. I stay exclusively in BW approximately 25 times per year, this is in the top three in the entire East USA.

Clean hotel, comfortable bed, nice breakfast good variety to choose from but refused to honor coupon charged us full price to me that is false advertising . Several restaurants nearby for dinner options.

When I travel north I usually stay at this hotel they are very appreciative get me checked in quickly and ask if i need anything. The hotel is neat and clean. They have luggage carts to help you take your bulky luggage to your room

The hotel was clean and close to restaurants and the staff was friendly. Inthe morning there was a power failure which caused us to not be able to have cooee or the hot breakfast we were looking forward to to start our day. None of which was the hotels fault.

This property is just excellent in comfort, location and service! Our room was just terrific. Do not hesitate staying at this hotel where the staff goes the extra mile. Packing and re-packing our van on our way to Florida, I left behind my briefcase and a massager in the parking lot. They were found by an employee and after contacting them, arrangements have been made to FedEx the items to my final destination. Can't ask for more than that. Thank you Best western for such a good staff!

This is about the fourth or fifth time we've stopped at the Best Western Smithfield Inn on our way back-and-forth from New Jersey to Florida. We find the hotel to be modern, very clean, the rooms are a nice size and breakfast is standard but fine. We like to stop here because it's halfway between both destinations. While the Smithfield exit on I-95 offers myriad choices for overnight accommodations we are well satisfied with the Best Western, Smithfield so we don't feel the need to try another hotel.

Hotel very nice, clean . Located by the so called outlets . So there is plenty to do . And a movie to theater directly behind it . 24 hour bitter coffee available downstairs. Breakfast . Pool and fitness center closed . Over all nice place to stay with the exseption of the girl at the front desk who had an attitude.

This was a driving trip for me to get my handicapped best friend from New Jersey to Florida. Loved the free breakfast. Never had so much variety. Staff extremely nice and accommodating. Thank you for the hospitality.

By far one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed at on I95. As a BW rewards member we frequently use BW when traveling. We plan to use this hotel from now on as we frequently travel by car. We hope that the overall maintenance of this property continues!

We stopped at BW for a one night stay. The clerk was helpful and was able to give us accommodations w/o a reservation. The hotel was very clean and the experience was the best. The location is perfect for finding a places to eat and shop.

Room was very clean, comfortable quiet night. Very good breakfast in the morning, staff very pleasant. Breakfast included make your own waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, bagels, muffins as well as juice and coffee.

Close to I 95 and lots of places to eat near a mall. The hotel offers a 10% discount to certain eateries, i.e. Buffaol Wild wings, Cold Stone and Texas Steak House. Due to the pandemic, Texas Steak House had a long wait time.

We had after midnight check-in. Good thing we made a reservation. I 95 south was a disaster further south. The front desk employee Jerry very friendly. The hot breakfast cou6use some gluten free options and more fruit such as apples and mandarins. The bed were very comfortable.

We were traveling NY to Fl for Christmas and needed someplace to sleep for a few hours. This hotel was available and on our route so we took the chance. The guy working the desk was very accommodating and got us booked super quick. The rate rate was reasonable and the time was perfect with 2 queens and a tv. Very clean and out worked perfectly for us.

Our stay at this hotel was a very pleasant surprise. There was nothing disappointing about the property. The room was clean and bright, the breakfast was excellent with many selections and there were hand sanitizer stations all over the place. There are all kinds of restaurants actually within walking distance and the gas prices in the area were the cheapest for miles around. Besides all the nice amenities the price was very reasonable. We were so impressed that we've already booked for our return trip to Florida next week.

Room was brand new and very spacious. Bed and pillows were perfect t for a good nights sleep. The hotel staff greeted me and were very pleasant throughout my stay. Good water pressure in the shower And good food options for breakfast.

Best, Cleanest and well run hotel om I 95. This facility is the best place to stay between Miami and Virginia, we have stayed with this hotel many times and never been disappointed it is well kept and well run, cannot say enough good things about them. Hampton and Hilton should take lessons from this manager.

Management and staff was Awesome! We had an issue in our room and the Manager came to our room within 3 minutes to address the problem and fix it immediately! Breakfast was hot and area very clean! All 3 floors in this Hotel smelled Amazing!

Was pleasantly surprised, since this was the nicest (reasonably-priced) room I have stayed in, in a long time. The furnishings were upscale, working, clean, and well-stocked. The breakfast was plentiful, and the food area was clean. Overall, a very nice and safe place to stay.

Stopped overnight on a road trip and could not have been more pleased with this hotel. Our room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Room was well equipped with a fridge and microwave. This property has upgraded its furnishings and beds and carpets. It offers a great breakfast selections. Well served and supplied. Easy on and off the highway. Is close by at least 15 restaurants. Good parking and has very helpful staff. It is a great hotel experience.

Arrived around 6pm to check in. Checkin was quick and easy. Shortly after getting into the room the front desk called to make sure everything was good with the room and find out if I needed anything. Great location, clean, and close to shops and restaurants.

Although I travel I95 often, I have never stayed at this Best Western in Smithfield. Everything was perfectly done from my immaculate room to the cleanliness of the property and patient treatment received from all employees. I highly recommend it!!

Check in was seamless I call ahead and two rooms were ready upon our arrival. The staff was very accommodating. Room was clean and there was a hot breakfast. We were traveling with another couple and there was very clean and comfortable also. We would definitely stay there again.

Extremely friendly and clean. We were very concerned about staying in a hotel with the pandemic. My wife is a cancer patient and 70 yrs old. Our concerns were put to rest by the staff and cleanliness of the facility. We have been driving straight through from New Jersey to Central Florida during the pandemic. We no longer feel the need to do so after our stay. This has been a very popular place for us to stay going on vacations and coming home.

I was on a very stressful road trip and stopped here for a night. I was sad that both the gym and pool were closed, but all I really needed was a clean, safe, and comfortable place to crash and this was definitely it. Can't complain about starting a new day with a fresh waffle

Needing a nice spot for an overnight during a long trip, this Best Western location filled the bill. Enjoyed a good nights rest and excellent breakfast the next day to start the rest of our trip. There was a lot of great restaurants located nearby for our enjoyable evening meal. The hotel was very clean and attractive and a feature enjoyed by my wife was the 24 hr. coffee bar!

Spot on clean! Very conveniently located near many food and shopping choices. Hot breakfast was welcoming and very well stocked. I could have a stayed in the shower forever. Will be back if ever in the area again. Very personable workers. Thank for the great job you are doing.

Check in staff was very friendly and welcoming. Hotel and room was CLEAN and I mean CLEAN. Everything was in working order, and oh did I mention CLEAN? Breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast, but good selection and food was actually edible. Food and dining area was spotless. Although just passing through I would DEFINITELY recommend this hotel for your stay. Absolutely not one complaint and that is a rarity for hotels these days!

Clean and quiet. We appreciate the “no pets” policy. The room was spacious with plenty of charging stations. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Refrigerator and microwave for added convenience. I rarely stay at Best Western hotels, but was a surprisingly good stay. This hotel is nothing fancy, but it was very clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good. Plenty of parking and located in a safe area. Tons of dining options and the outlet mall is just a moments drive away.

I stayed here this time because the BW in Emporia was sold out, however in the future I may just choose to stop here instead. The restaurant almost next door is reasonably good and has a bar which is nice at the end of a long day driving. Breakfast was good (and they served us breakfast which a lot of hotels no longer do) and the room was comfortable.

We were on a two-week road trip but didn't have hotel reservations for the last night of the 3200 mile drive. This Best Western was exactly what we needed for a comfortable, clean, and quiet stay. The receptionist and the breakfast is hostess we're kind and efficient.

This is the BEST Best Western I have ever stayed in. Perfectly clean, most comfortable bed and pillows, & an especially quiet air conditioning unit. I had a wonderful night's sleep. The free breakfast was average. And you have the added benefit of a huge outlet mall just down the street.

Upon arriving at Best Western Smithfield Hotel we were greeted by a friendly receptionist. After a quick check in, we were informed of the Hotels amenities. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. The following morning we had a full hot breakfast and the coffee was delicious. We will return to this hotel again

We live in Florida, but travel annually to the northeast to visit family and friends. We make it a point to stay at this hotel and are never disappointed. It isn't 5 star in the sense that you have mints on your pillows, however every other aspect of the hotel in terrific. Clean, friendly, great customer service, extremely comfortable beds, good breakfast, and outstandingly location!

Stayed one night on our way home from Florida and had a fantastic stay. The front desk staff greeted us with a smile and asked about our travels. Our room was clean, large and comfortable. It looks like the hotel has recently been updated--the carpet looked brand new and everything in the room and lobby area was immaculate. Every time we passed a staff member, we were greeted with a smile and 'how are you'. Couldn't have found better accommodations anywhere!

After attempting to stay at a quality inn in the middle of a cross country drive we were horrified on that hotel and left. We came across BW and were really happy. I have stayed at many BW before and they never disappoint.

We have been traveling to Myrtle Beach South Carolina for 21 years we always stop halfway or a little over at the best Western in Smithfield near the outlets the rooms are big cleaning service is great the breakfast in the morning is outstanding I would highly recommend this hotel

Close to 95, clean, friendly staff, and a nice little breakfast with waffles and eggs in the morning which the kids loved. We made the stop on the long trip down 95 and were fortunate to grab the last room. Oh, there's also the Carolina Premium Outlets a very short walk away if you're interested. Would definitely come back!

We stayed for one night on our way to South Carolina and it was fantastic. The staff was friendly and courteous. Rooms were exceptionally clean. We will definitely use this hotel again for future trips.

We stayed at this hotel for just one night. Check in went very smoothly and the front desk staff was very friendly. There were bad storms in the are that evening and the hotel lost power for a while but it was just a minor inconvenience. The breakfast was very good. Hot choices like eggs, potatoes, and sausage, waffles, along with the typical continental breakfast choices. The lady maintaining the breakfast area did a great job of keeping things stocked up and cleaning the tables as soon as someone left. If I needed a hotel in this area again, I would not hesitate to stay here.

Overall a good stay at a good location. Plenty of dining options within either a short walk or ride. The hotel was very clean and there was a good buffet breakfast which was a nice surprise during this covid era. Coffee 24/7. Pool was closed, unfortunately. Our room was clean and well appointed with a huge fridge, a microwave and a small coffeemaker (but go downstairs, the coffee is surprisingly good!). Just under an hour to the Ft Bragg area. Lots of good outlet shops a stone's throw away. If I'm in the area again I would definitely stay there again. The only bummer was the mattress on the bed closest to the window (room 308) was in need of replacement. Literally everything else about this stay was good or excellent.

Once again, Smithfield Best Western provided a great rest stop after a 10 hour drive. The king bed was comfortable, the shower had plenty of water pressure and the towels were soft enough. The pool was still closed, a huge disappointment after such a long drive. And the breakfast was still grab and go, but they did have egg sausage and cheese sandwiches to heat in the microwave in the room so we didn't have to stop somewhere else for a bite to eat. We've stayed here twice this year returning from Florida. It's worth the long drive knowing what we can expect from this BW!

We only stayed one night...the manager on duty was friendly and helpful. She printed out directions to a restaurant for us. Covid has changed the breakfast....only microwave sandwich instead of the usual good eggs, sausage, waffles, etc. All in all, it was not terrible.

Rooms have been remodeled since my last stay and are quite nice. Although, their toilets are very low. The facility was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Close to restaurants, gas and interstate. I would definitely stay here again.

We simply stopped for a night. The hotel was still in vivod protocols to a point but not really heavy. So with most things shut down, there is not much yo comment on!Their recommendation for dinner turned out to be the worst dinner ever, not edible.

As a couple we stay on hotels to rest the night, love clean, organized rooms and most important the smell of real cleaning, we always look for dirty spots, but this specific Hotel it exceed our expectations in everything, room temperature, smell, clean, etc. Front desk lady greet us with a smile and great information. $$$ amount stay for one night was very good.

Room was clean and inviting,.friendly host at the front desk. We had the breakfast to go and was nourishing with an energy bar, orange and a muffin The lobby kitchen area you could get hot beverages 24 hours .

From the minute we walked in until we left we could not have asked for better. The price was right. {We had a coupon.) The personnel was polite, helpful and welcoming. We felt at home. Our room was a good size and well equipped. The entire establishment was spic and span and in very good condition. Dining places abound in the area and if shopping is your thing this is the place. Because of COVID we have not been driving this area bur decided to try it again. We are glad we did and we will be sure to stay here on any future trips. This stay is the best value we have ever gotten for the money.

I was delightfully greeted by Jerry when I called to see if there was a room for the night. There was. I pulled in about a half-hour later and was in my room and sleeping in no time. I always stay at Best Western when I am traveling because they are clean and the staff is friendly. Smithfield was no exception. Thank you for a good night's sleep before finishing my trip the next day.

Upon arrival,the desk service was welcoming and efficient. The hotel was very neat and clean, I believe it was newly renovated. The room itself was quite spacious, clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed available to us. There were lots of restaurant choices in the area. The only thing that I might say is that the hotel was a little hard to find when exiting off of Rt. 95, but after a few wrong turns we found it. I believe this is probably due to the fact that new construction is going on just near the hotel. I would go back there again and I would recommend it to others. We were quite satisfied; the price was reasonable. There was also a take away,bagged breakfast due to the Covid 19 that was very adequate and of course very good coffee.

The hotel and room were very clean. The woman at check in was great, my mom has a hard time walking so she accommodated us and put us on the first floor. The breakfast was brown bag unfortunately, but we experienced this at many different hotels because of COVID. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars was because the cleaning lady walked into our room without knocking at 8:30am while we were still there.

Not a bad hotel, very clean, not impressed with the breakfast. The remote for tv not working correctly, dead batteries as usual. Seems like all hotels are not checking the remote's batteries anymore. Other than that we had a good nights sleep.

We have stayed here in the past. It is an excellent hotel. Very clean and sanitized. Beds were very comfortable and shower very clean with plenty of hot water. The coffee and juice in the morning were very good and the bag breakfast to go was much better than we expected. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would rate this hotel 5 stars!

This was a great location--next to an outlet shopping center, a LOT of food options less than 3 minutes away by car but also walkable. The room was clean and well decorated, the bed was comfy. The only thing that caught me off guard was that a train went by, honking its horn, fairly often...I think the last one was around 11:20pm...I have no idea where the train or the tracks were but I could see that it might disturb someone who is a light sleeper. Something is being built on the lot next to the hotel, they started construction around 8am; they weren't particularly loud but were doing something that shook the room...I was up so it wasn't an issue but I don't think it would've woke me up either. My parents were on the other side of the hotel and didn't hear or feel it. The staff was great and the location--right off I95--was perfect. I paid about $70/$80 for a night, for that I would stay again.

Stayed just one night, but everything was above my expectations. We have been staying at different Best Westerns and this is by far the best this year. Smooth check in, bed was really comfortable and best of all the coffee was great. I was acknowledged for our Best Western status. They served a bag breakfast, but included a microwavable breakfast sandwich.

This looks like a fairly new hotel. Everything new and clean. Super close to outlet shopping. Not far off I-95. Great customer service at check-in. Easy contactless checkout. Grab and go breakfast(due to covid) was a muffin ,granola bar, yogurt offering and a fruit cup. A different hotel chain offered me a pop tart the previous breakfast. 24 hour coffee station. Refrigerator and microwave in room.

You will find the rooms clean. Good tv channels, quick check-in. I absolutely love the high shower heads, especially for tall people. Plus close to lots of restaurants. The rooms have a nice clean smell. The place is spotless.

We stopped here for a night on our way down south. The hotel is impeccably clean and well maintained. Check-in was smooth. Now for the bad - the walls are paper thin. The people next door ran their television the entire time (including the night, 4 am in the morning, truly all night) we were there. Called to try and get a new room but apparently they were fully booked. The front desk rep called the room next door to ask them to turn it down, to no avail. Such people should be blacklisted from staying at the hotel again because it results in lost business. Noisy bathroom drain every few minutes as well. Also very loud every time anyone in the room upstairs walked across, which luckily was not that often. So, unfortunately this place is cheaply constructed. We had planned to stop here on our way back but there is no way that is happening now. We will drive the extra half hour into Raleigh to stay at a higher end hotel.

this location was just fine- clean well organized and all the staff i encountered wore masks and did social distancing. i did all my own cleaning upon entering the room but thats me. the only issue was the to go breakfast. i understand due to covid no hot breakfast but the to go was a joke. an over ripe banana, a muffin and granola bar. yes this is what comes in the to go bag. offer something a little better or some credit at a local fast food location. this was not acceptable.

Clean, comfortable, typical Best Western. Restaurants nearby too. Exercise facilities 100% non-smoking, Indoor pool Heated. Complimentary continental breakfast, usually includes coffee, juices, tea, milk, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, scrambled eggs, sausage, bread, biscuits, muffins, Danish, fruit salad, fresh fruit, and hot waffles. With Covid, we had grab & go bags: Cereal, banana, milk, coffee, juice, yogurt and muffin.

Highly recommend! Staff very professional! Not much of a breakfast only down fall. Coffee was very good! Loved the hallways and new carpet! Again very clean. Quiet and right off of the 95 -for easy travel, they are working on the road back to the Hotel currently-a little rough.

We enjoyed our stay but the road we had to take to get in there was TERRIBLE!!! I literally had to walk the car or loose a bumper and tires. Also disappointed that the pool was not opened. Somewhere in their notes it should of told us that it was closed before we booked our stay. Also, maybe a little more variety in their sack breakfasts. Bed was comfortable and staff was friendly and helpful though.

We stayed at the Best Western Smithfield this past weekend prior to closing on our North Carolina home. Room was modern and very roomy and comfortable. Staff was friendly and extremely helpful. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

TV is very small for the size of the room, walls and floorboards are very thin - we could hear everything and everyone. Only grab and go bags for breakfast, but had coffee/tea station in lobby. The hotel is very nice. Checkin was quick, easy and staff was very friendly. The room was nice. Bed was comfortable. Shower water pressure very good. Close to lots of restaurants and the Carolina outlet center.

Traveled from Massachusetts to Florida, this was the perfect half way stop. Hotel is new looking with modern decor and extremely clean. We've stayed at higher rated more expensive hotels that weren't as nice as this Best Western. Very comfortable beds, nice bathroom with great water pressure, convenient fridge and microwave. Pleasant staff and fast easy check in. Breakfast was a fruit cup, muffin and cereal bar due to Covid. Coffee available 24 hours and was good. I highly recommend this hotel!

one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. A little tricky to fine the right way to get into the parking lot, I didn't see the signs first time but very much worth the effort. Would be pleased to stay here again.

We needed to travel and wanted a safe clean space during this pandemic. We found it here, nice clean room, to go bag breakfast, mask wearing and all reasonable precautions taken. Highly recommend. We have stayed here before and will again always a good experience.

The room was immaculate, and the shower was working great, not like some I was in, and the bed was very comfortable. They offered water and a snack. Can I suggest one thing would be gluten-free snacks for those that have wheat issues? the other suggestion is to have a coffee maker in the room

We all don't see things the same way,but this is important to do but be honest because it hurts the Hotel plus the guest,I have found most people leaving a review is honest but there are a few that don't and will not no matter what.I have stayed in hotels that have reviews and knew the ones that were posting a negative review just because they are not able to help themselves.I have spent may stays at this hotel,and i can say there is one thing that upsets me,but its not the hotel's fault,i have trouble using the snack machine because there is always chips, pretzel,n any bag that is very light and always at the top and gets stuck trying to fall to the bottom.After saying that i find no problem with the hotel.One thing i don't look forward to hearing is noise from rooms next to mine,and the one on the top of my list is,,,,,people that slams their door,i would bet that have problems with their doors at home if they do this all the time,but thanks to this hotels i hear neither one and the door controls stop the slamming,i would stay at any hotel that has this on their doors no matter what.The staff all of them are at the top of the list for the work they do,i'll always stay at this hotel when ever i'm in this area.So if you want a great night in a clean,quite hotel,this is the one you will enjoy the net morning when you wake up,and when this virus is over they have a wonderful breakfast to get you on your way.

This was our second time staying here & did not disappoint. Our room was spacious & clean. It was nicely appointed, including ample outlets & USB ports on the nightstands. The refrigerator & microwave we're both clean but did not use them. Strip mall with many food venues within walking distance. Will definitely stay here again.

The new furnishings are very, very nice. The new carpeting is Wonderful!! I dislike cold, cheap flooring. A double room is very spacious. The building is situatied well ( set back from highway, good location, decent view). I was not able to call our room, Not good. Front desk staff, All Good! Too bad Covid-19 has indoor pool closed.

I was looking for a place to spend the night that was right off I-95 on our trip down to South Carolina. I picked this place, and it was great. The hotel looks very new. The room was huge. Great king bed. Lots of space. Larger than average refrigerator in the room. Bathroom was large. The only downside of the hotel was the front desk wasn't super friendly. No issues checking in, but she didn't seem to be too interested in customer service. The only other thing to be aware of is that the area is very confusing from a traffic perspective. They are building more shopping and there is a lot of construction in the area. It's a little confusing making your way around the immediate area of the hotel, but that is really the only downside.

We have been here many times in the past. With everything going on this year, travel has slowed down. My wife had a heart transplant a few years ago making a mask important to us. The desk clerk did not have one the the entire evening. Not during check in, not when we when to dinner and again when we went out to do a little shopping. They have a big sign on the door that says to wear a mask. Rant done The hotel is nice and has everything you would need for a night or a few days. We will probably be back sometime in the future.

Love the Best Western. It is everything that I want and need in a hotel. We stay here on our trips to FL. It is pet free and that is what we like the best. We love pets, but not in our bed! Clean, safe property, bagged breakfast , lighted parking lot. All good. Checkin was professional too

Overall, this hotel is one of the cleanest hotels I have been to. They have taken COVID measures seriously and shows with the cleanliness. It is a bummer that the pool was closed with a few other things but that's the case with a number of hotels during these times. The staff were friendly. The hotel was convenient to the highways, restaurants, and other places. Was sad to leave the hotel and would definitely consider staying again when traveling to the Carolinas in the future. Keep up the good work.

Our very favorite BW on the entire east coast! Hats off to Mike Patel and his staff! Super clean, beautifully furnished and well maintained. Staff is pleasant, knowledgeable and friendly. Grab and Go is very good and you were asked if you would care for an omelette to be heated in your room microwave - a nice, unexpected touch. We will return on our way back from Naples to DC , four trip a year.

We have stayed here several times and have found this BW a great place to stay. The lobby and surrounding area was clean. The room was very clean and fresh smelling. There are lots of restaurants around. Definitely our go to point when headed that direction.

Easy access from I-95 exit 95. Clean and inexpensive and front desk staff was friendly. Due to covid they give you continental breakfast to go. Lots of stores and restaurants in the immediate area. Well lite and secure hotel.

Could hear the traffic from outside. Other guests staying on floor very noisy til 3 in the morning. Freight train close by, so you can hear the whistle when it came through. Many other hotels in area. Staff not very friendly Y.

When I travel from Pittsburgh Pa to Topsail N.C I Always stop at this Best Western. The hotel is very clean and the manager Mike keeps the place inside and out immaculate and up-to-date. You will not be disappointed with your stay

Great place to stay on our way down to FL. EZ on/off I95, steady AC with not much noise, guests are spread out quite far due to Covid; we did not see anyone else on our floor. You can walk to 5 restaurants! We felt comfortable and safe.

Staff were highly professional and friendly!!! The facility was clean and you could smell the cleanliness as soon as you walked through the front door. The beds were extra comfortable and the rooms looked really modern. It was very quiet and peaceful.

We have stayed here many times and have always had a good experience. Had a small problem with room key this time and the manager actually went with me to the room to make sure it worked. My only criticism is that when I entered the lobby to check in, the clerk was on the phone taking a reservation and did not acknowledge me in any way, not even a head nod or upraised finger. I waited at least 5 minutes with no signal whatsoever that she knew I was there. My husband had time to unload luggage, park the car and bring everything in while I was waiting. Finally after she got off the phone she apologized for the wait, but it would have been nice to have some greeting as soon as I walked in. Other than that our stay was wonderful, as usual and this will not keep me away.

While traveling north on I 95 we needed a place to spend the night and we selected this hotel based on other reviews. It met and exceeded expectations for cleanliness during this trying COVID time. From the reception area to the room we stayed in it was very apparent that this hotel is taking every step to maintain a safe environment. Our room was spacious and very comfortable.There are many restaurants within walking distance, although for now we opted not to use them due to COVID. We will definitely make this a "go to" stopping off point during future travels. As is the policy with all hotels now in lieu of a breakfast buffet we were given a "to go" bag upon checkout and fresh coffee was made available. Hat's off to a commendable job well done.

I complaints at all. Arrived very late and checked in without issue. Clean remodeled rooms. Beds were a little soft for our liking. Offered coffee,juice and yogurt in the lobby 24 hrs and a grab n go breakfast in the am.

We stayed at this Best Western. We have stayed in many hotels in many states and countries. This was the best we have ever stayed in. The first thing I always check is the air conditioner filters. They were perfectly clean. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. I coud find nothing wrong with this room. The hallways were clen as clean could be. Really enjoyed this hotel. The desk clerk was very helpful and check in was easy. I did not have to ask for military discount. She asked me AARP, AAA, or goverment rate. As a veteran that was really nice

Obviously during Covid-19 everything has changed. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very courteous. No breakfast at this time but grab and go bags are available at checkout. The bag contained an orange,a very small orange juice,a small muffin and a breakfast bar. Very difficult to eat on the go. At our stop going South at a BW Plus the grab and go bag contained a 12ounce orange juice,a bottle of water and a pastry and a breakfast bar and a napkin..Very easy to handle on the go!

Traveling during the pandemic can create a lot of anxiety. The Best Western in Smithfield, NC removed any anxiety that we may have had right from our check in. The desk clerk wore a mask and gloves. There was protective glass at the check in desk area. The clerk was careful, courteous, friendly and most helpful. She informed us of the grab and go breakfast bag and a nice take out dinner option. The hotel was very clean and sanitized. The room was clean and the beds most comfortable. I would definitely stay at the Best Western Smithfield again and surely recommend to others!

We have stayed at several hotels in this area of North Carolina while heading North from Florida. This was our first stay at the BW and it's an excellent choice. Rooms are clean and they accommodate our requests during pandemic. Hotel should put up a plexiglass barrier for registration.

We had a great night's sleep at Best Western. We did not part take of the box breakfast as we were anxious to get back on the road. We usually stay at this Best Western every year. It is always comfortable and the staff accommodating .

This was our second stay at this hotel. The location is very close to I 95. Exiting the interstate, finding the hotel, and parking were all very easy. The check-in and checking-out were handled in a quick, efficient, friendly manner. There were few guests, as dictated by the present circumstances. All staff were helpful. The available coffee in the lobby area was appreciated. The food offering, upon departure, was a "grab-and-go" bag. This was, of course, in lieu of the regular BW breakfast offering, which we always enjoy. There could have been a bit more included. I recommend this hotel and wouldn't hjesitate to stay again, if on our general route.

With Covid19 times are very difficult. Jackie at front desk was excellent. She wore gloves while checking us in. As we were leaving she was washing down the luggage carts. The lady helping with breakfasts was helpful with difficult lids and the problems of an older person trying to carry many things to our room. Both staff were professional and friendly.

The hotel was spotless. They answered all my questions regarding cleaning my room with regard to the Coronavirus. Upon arrival staff was friendly and helpful. Upon entering my room I was relieved to find my room exactly the way it was explained to me. I slept well knowing the Best Western staff showed such concern not only to stay open but provide a safe haven. The grab and go was also a safe way to provide nourishment for the ride home...Thank you!

We stayed at the BWP in Smithfield, NC during the COVID19 epidemic and the staff were very friendly and considerate considering they were working with the public during uncertain and scary times. The room was very clean and comfortable. This was our second stay at BWP Smithfield and we would highly reccommend it to anyone.

Both check in and check out personnel are great. Usually out before breakfast, but coffee is provided to go. Room was clean. Internet provided, but wish it was a secure network. Not sure if that is possible at any hotel. Good area to stay.

We were traveling north on I-95 and decided to stop for the night in Smithfield. We selected the Best Western for its brand and attractive pricing. Check-in was friendly, easy, and quick. Our room was clean, comfortable, and attractive. The bathroom was also clean with modern fixtures. Breakfast was included with fresh scrambled eggs, waffles, pastries, fruit, and more. The breakfast attendant kept the the breakfast buffet well supplied, and she was friendly and welcoming. In summary, Best Western/Smith is an excellent choice.

The rooms are well appointed. The building appears to be poorly insulated since noise from adjoining rooms and the hallway is very clearly heard in the room. The breakfast is basic but adequate. The staff is friendly. Quality of the fixtures is cheap.

Apparently this hotel was recently remodeled. It shows! It even smells like new. The breakfast was tasty too. The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. Good internet speed. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The Best Western, Smithfield is a really great property in the middle of the outlet shops in Smithfield, North Carolina. We have stayed there more than once and the hotel is extremely clean and well appointed. As with all Best Western hotels, the beds are extremely comfortable and the full breakfast offers a full complement of breakfast items. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very clean and quiet. The front desk lady nice. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Liked the hair dryer in the bathroom that doubled as a night light. Large fridge. The TV could have had a larger screen.

Comfortable and clean room! Breakfast was very good! I want to give a shout out to Audrey -- she was working the front desk when we checked in on Friday night. She was alone and had a line of four people waiting to check in. She handled everyone very professionally and got through everyone very quickly. Also, I was up pretty early and went to walk on the treadmill at 5:50am. Robert advised me that the gym didn't open until 6:30 because of past issues of folks making too much noise. I was disappointed, but Robert was extremely accomodating, and after preparing breakfast, he opened the gym for me at 6:25am. Very nice gentleman!

We have stayed there a number of times on our way to and from Florida. They are very nice to deal with, the rooms are very clean, and breakfast is good. The lady who handles breakfast is very pleasant, always smiling and helpful. She has been there a number of years because we see her each time we stay there.

Booked this hotel because of the good reviews on TripAdvisor. On our way to Florida, after being on the road all day we stayed at this hotel. It looks new although I think it has been remodeled and updated, The room was spacious, clean and bright, The lighting is excellent. All the table lamps have outlets for charging your electronics or anything else you need outlets for. The furniture is sleek and modern. The beds as well as the pillows were very comfortable. WIFI was fast. There was only one thing to complain about, the toilets are too low. They feel like you're sinking into the floor. Breakfast the next morning was excellent. Scrambled eggs were freshly made and fluffy. A selection of juices was available as well as self-made waffles and many other items. This hotel had a better selection of breakfast foods than most and everything was very good. The woman in the breakfast room replaced everything quickly and kept the area spotless. This hotel was a pleasant surprise and we definitely will stay there again on our way to or from Florida.

We were in town for business and this hotel is centrally located for all of our needs. There are many eateries within walking distance if you choose. This hotel is perfect in every way and that's coming from someone hard to please. The room is super clean, Up-to-date decor, and the beds are so plush you don't want to get up. I had to ask for a late check out. The breakfast was like cooking at home because they had so many healthy options. I will definitely stay here every time I come to Smithfield. If you are looking for a comfortable cozy clean place to stay this is it not to mention the staff is awesome as well. The movie theater is in the same parking lot with the hotel you can walk across see a movie and come back without getting in your car.

The rooms are very large and confortable. Very clean and a lot of pillows. The a/c and heat was extremely efficace. Never to hot, never to cold with a constant fan. The breakfast was very good with a commercial toaster. Luxury at a bargain price!

I very seldom give a chain hotel a 5 star rating. But among the many, many chain facilities we've stayed at, this deserves a 5. Newly remodeled, this hotel was impeccably clean from the moment you walked in. While breakfast was typical among chains, it was well presented, well stocked and the attendant was constantly visible and constantly busy stocking, cleaning, etc. Quite pleasant young woman especially when I spilled coffee. Front desk personnel were all pleasant. King Room was large, clean with no visible problems. Hotel is situated right off highway where other chains located. All near huge outlets. Highly recommend.

Being opened about 15 years ago, it looks as though it has been updated in the rooms with nice results. The room was clean and comfortable with bathroom very adequate. The breakfast was good with normal items of eggs, waffles, fresh fruit, and breads. Many hotels are in the area close to the Outlet Mall.

They don't call it Best Western for nothing. The room itself was extremely neat and cleaned. Along with the bathroom and shower as well. The hotel itself is with in walking distance to a number of different restaurants. And also if you check in before you go get food show the restaurant your room key and you receive 10% off your food bill! The breakfast was just your standard complimentary breakfast but the coffee was surprisingly delicious. All staff members were helpful both in the evening and morning. Service with a smile!

We were gathering for a funeral the next day. My son and husband were with me. At 2 AM my daugher , who had traveled from Savannah, joined us. The desk clerk called us to let us know she was there and she was ushered up to us . The point is, She was not on my roster of people in the room. She was not added to our bill either. She had traveled almost 6 hours to get there for the funeral and she was welcomed as easily as we were. I appreciate a place that takes family over business. It was so appreciated. That is why Best Western has become my place to stay no matter where we go

This is perfect place to stop overnight for us travel from Florida back to New York. After the long drive we can just walk around the place find a lot of great restaurants to relax and unwind. Plus nice hot shower and great bed to sleep on, it is A+ on my bood.

We would stay here again. Indoor pool was very nice and even though the hotel was crowded it was very quiet. Our room was nice and we loved the washcloth animal that greeted us in the bathroom. Breakfast was good.

Welcoming and friendly staff, cozy room (though we did have to turn down the temperature - it was quite hot in the room!), EXCEPTIONALLY clean. Looks as though the hotel is either quite new or recently had a makeover - the shower looked particularly new and was hot with great pressure. Note that the hotel is quite close to a main train line - and even though I couldn't hear any 95 traffic at all, I heard the train several times throughout the night. Breakfast was okay, but not as large a spread as I've had at other Best Westerns (especially in the north-east). Lots of places to eat within minutes of the hotel if you're looking for something else throughout the day. I usually use the gym at hotels, but didn't have the energy on this visit. I did pop in to see it, however, and it was quite small.

This particular Best Western is the ONLY hotel I will stay at when I travel from Florida to New Jersey. I have always had a phenomenal experience EVERY visit! The new decor is inviting, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.
