« Sheraton Palo Alto is awesome »

I love this hotel. This is the best dog friendly hotel I have ever stayed in. Lovely grounds, immaculate well appointed room, and staff were wonderful. Great location across from park-like grounds of Stanford.

« Nicest Best Western I've stayed at »

This was by far the cleanest and nicest best western day that I've stayed at. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the flathead Valley. Also the breakfast is amazing

    « Great location! »

Beautiful rooms. Couldn't ask for more. Newly renovated. Great location. Close to Bigfork and Kalispell and Flathead Lake. Skiing in the winter at Blacktail. Very family friendly. Highly recommend. Plan on staying again.

« 7 miles south of town near the lake »

This Hotel is at the junction of 2 highways south of Kalispell. Its not in town. The staff were helpful and quite accommodating . Check in was fast. The parking lot is fully paved and clean. The halls and room were clean as well. The linens and towels were excellent. The noise level was acceptable as remember this is a wood frame building. There is an elevator if you are on an upper floor. There is a pool and a lounge on the premises. The breakfast was the best I have had at a hotel. Ample selection and large breakfast room. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone with a family or singles too. Would stay again if in the area.

    « Dog friendly »

I originally called to make a reservation and found out they didn't have any dog friendly rooms available. The desk clerk asked if I wanted to be on the waiting list in case there was a cancellation. I agreed to be on the waiting list not thinking I would ever get one and 2 hours later they called me and said they had a room available. The room was very nice. There was a wedding reception that was a little noisy, but by 9 p.m. the place was quiet. Someone in the room above us sounded like they were banging on the wood floor. I called the front desk to complain and the noise stopped immediately. I will be sure to stay at this place again if we go to Montana.

    « Great Best Western »

This is a very nice Best Western. It had nice amenities such as a lounge with a small selection of food available. We found this very convenient as we did not want to go out in the car again after a long day of traveling. I do not think there was any other restaurant within walking distance. There was coffee and cookies available upon check in. Check in was smooth with a friendly front desk person to do it. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Laundry facilities were available. Breakfast was more than adequate and included.

« Nice Place to Stay »

It seemed to have been recently renovated or constructed was really clean with nice people. A nice distance from glacier national park. Good pool and hot tub. And nice sitting areas. The bar didn't seem to be totally operational yet.

« This has been our choice Best Western. »

Best Western Hotels are the place where we stay on our travels. We like visiting Montana and my wife and I are always looking forward to stay in this location. Thank you and hope to see you soon again. Best Regards Milan and Veronica Chalupnik

    « Excellent Stay »

This a newly renovated hotel and is super clean! Every aspect of the facility and staff were top notch. I don't even consider staying anywhere else while I'm in town for business. From starting the day at breakfast to the daily wind-down in the lounge... it's perfect for the traveling businessperson.

« Homey, clean, welcoming, comfortable and reasonably priced »

We've been on the road for over a week and this is the best hotel yet! The staff even provided evening cookies and milk. Very Impressed and enjoyed our stay. Decor is attractive in a "homey" welcoming way. It's very clean and reasonably priced. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

« Clean, friendly, very good breakfast »

One of the best hotel experiences we have had. Very friendly and attentive staff. Our room was very quiet. Very clean. Easy access to/from highway. Between Kalispell and Flathead Lake. Breakfast better than most, good hot items, good fresh fruit selections, good cold cereal selections.

    5
    « Glacier Natioal Park »

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. They have very helpful staff. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and we enjoyed all the sights, like the orchards, and the beautiful lake. The breakfast was scrumptious. The location was great for us.

    5
    « Amazing! »

This hotel is extremely clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is convenient to all local activities. We have already discussed returning to the area and know that our future stays will be in this hotel.

    5
    « Beautiful! »

Friendly, helpful staff, spotless rooms, great breakfast choices. It is in the perfect location for enjoying the local sights like Kalispell, Flathead Lake, the town of Whitefish, Glacier NP and the surrounding national forests.

    5
    « Excellent Hotel »

This hotel is modern, clean, well staffed, and well appointed. The included breakfast provides an excellent variety of items and the quality is very good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The value is excellent at this time of year (very late September). Highly recommended.

    5
    « A Gem »

We stayed at this location as mid way point to all of our destinations. We were so very glad this was the spot we chose. The staff was very accommodating, they made sure all our requests (we did not have many) were handled personally. During our stay there was an event for the guests in the lounge area. The breakfast was full range and complimentary. I can't say enough about this stay.

    4
« Out of the way a bit but very quiet »

Recently opened hotel and they did a nice job. It is a nice place to stay and staff were excellent - cozy and a nice feeling. It is a little out the way but liked that as it is quiet and if you ask staff they will help for restaurant suggestions etc.

    5
« Outstanding staff and nice rooms »

We were in flathead looking at communities to possibly retire in when we came across the staff at this incredible BestWestern. The staff took the time to share information on the area and suggested some things we might like to see and different areas that might meet our needs for retirement. We extended our stay by a day as the restaurants in the area that were suggested were great and the people were nice to talk to. They also treated our two dogs as members of the family!

    4
« Great place to stay! »

I wasn't sure about the reviews, but they were right. The staff was friendly, and kind. We stayed for 3 days , and the rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. I had to stay late on the check out day, and they let me stay in the room longer. I also liked the sizes of the pillows to accommodate different heights for different size people. Thank you!

    « Wonderful hotel!!!! »

We thoroughly enjoyed our stat at the Best Western PLUS Flathead Lake Inn and Suites. It is a beautiful hotel. The rooms and the entire hotel are beautifully appointed - but most of all, the friendly and professional staff was the highlight. They made us feel welcome and wanted to help with anything we needed. This was a rare treat. We will definitely and gladly return. Highly recommend it.

    « Great breakfast »

Breakfast: Many selections. Tasty. Above average for quality and selections. Room: Large with comfortable bed and good TV. WIFI was excellent and easy to connect. Good water pressure in shower. Gas station next door with fair pricing.

« great place to stay! »

three of us stayed here to visit glacier national park. hotel short drive to downtown Kalispell. appeared to be recently updated. big lobby. hotel located in quiet part of town but off of main highway. hotel had lounge that served light fare. rooms big, clean and comfortable. large clean laundry area. big breakfast area with many tables. good choices each morning. all staff very friendly, from desk clerks to breakfast staff and housekeeping staff. would recommend this hotel.

    5
« Great Stay in Montana »

This hotel is the clean of all clean. We really enjoyed our night here and would return again if needed. I highly recommend this property if you are travelling in that area. CJ at the front desk was very polite and went out of her way to upgrade us to the beautiful suite.

    4
« Clean and nice but expensive »

This is a lovely hotel. Very clean and comfortable. I think it's too expensive for the size of the rooms though. I will stay here in the off seasons when it's not so expensive because it's close to my daughter's home in Somers. When I stay a week, I'll stay at the Hilton Garden Inn just 7 miles away since it's $50-$70 a night less expensive.

    5
    « SC Honeymooners »

Oh Man what a gorgeous view of the mountains. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and had a jacuzzi, fireplace, kitchenette and a separate living room area. We had gotten slighted by HomeAway as the Smokey Bear Cabin did not show the correct pictures or description of their cabin as they only had a ladder to a loft to the only bed. Very disappointed in losing our money to Smokey Bear, but my sweet husband found this awesome hotel with the best ever accommodations. We had a very clean room and the view with the windows and sliding glass door. Oh my goodness plan to go to this wonderful hotel.

    5
    « Great hotel »

This was a great place to stay. Conveniently located off highway on way to Flathead Lake. Very warm lobby, large comfortable, clean rooms. We especially enjoyed the breakfast area on the second floor with nice large windows for a sunny welcoming atmosphere, and a great breakfast selection. Would definitely stay here again.

« Motorcycle Ride through Oregon & Montana »

This hotel was on par with all Best Westerns's they just upgraded the decor in the rooms and it was clean. I use Best Western quite often because of the breakfast they serve it is usually very good and there are quite a few choices.

    5
    « Great Hotel »

This is the third time we've stay at this particular hotel for a total of 5 nights. We started staying at it during the winter closing of the family cabin on nearby Flathead Lake after the Holiday Inn Express became too upscale and expensive. Although this hotel is still a little pricey for a retired couple with a limited means lifestyle the stay is always very pleasant. My wife's service dog seems to like the extra attention from the staff and she is becoming use to the elevator.

    « I'll stay here again! »

A very nice hotel that I will stay at again. We stayed here the weekend of our wedding, and had a good portion of our extended family staying as well. The rooms are newly remodeled (very nice), exceptionally clean and very comfortable (we had a gas fireplace in our upgraded room that was fantastic). The location is convenient, near Lakeside, Kalispell, and Flathead Lake which worked well for us. The amenities are above average for a hotel in this price range; plenty of parking, a nice pool and hot tub, and a very nice full hot breakfast. We really liked the views of the valley from the breakfast room. Above all though, the staff is what makes this hotel stand out. Both on the phone, and in person, all the staff members we encountered were professional, helpful, and genuinely friendly. The level of service we received during our stay exceeded what you would expect at a much more expensive hotel. I stay in hotels about 120 nights each year for work, and never take the time to review them; the staff at the BW Flathead Lake Inn and Suites did such a nice job that I felt compelled to take the time to write them a positive review on here. Thanks for an excellent stay!

« Great facility and staff , very accommodating. »

Stayed two nights , using facility as a 'base camp' to tour Glacier National Park. As we were on our way elsewhere , we needed to leave a large musical instrument in the room. Management took note of our concerns and made acceptable arrangements to protect our instrument in our absence. Remaining contact with all staff were all positive and friendly. Our only suggestion was that the Hotel get some signage on the highway heading north , as we missed the location on our first drive by. Plenty of signage southbound though.

« Very nice hotel. Overtly Christian management (Bible study, gospel music piped in community area, etc.) »

The hotel was extremely nice. Great bed, pillows, etc. Well-appointed. Was a little put off by gospel music in community area since we do not share their faith (would prefer secular music). Wonderful breakfast options including soy milk, rice milk, oatmeal, etc. Not close to Glacier but close enough for us. Beautiful hotel. We appreciate the staff!

    5
« Excellent Hotel, do not miss out! »

My stay was delightful. Prompt service at check-in and check-out. Two of the housekeepers happened to meet us in the hall and about trip over each other to welcome us and provide assistance if needed. Very presentable room; modern, clean, quiet, charming and roomy. The pool and hot tub area was very clean and uncluttered. The exterior and interior appearance of this hotel is absolutely beautiful. If I ever go to that location again, I will stay there.

    5
« Great place to stay »

We chose this location so we could explore the city of Kalispell. Stayed here recently and the accommodation was very nice, the front desk staff was helpful, and it was a nice area that was easy to find. It will be a place I will consider staying at in the future. They do not have rooms on the first floor so the breakfast service is also on the second floor. The only thing I didn't like about this location is the room we were assigned to seemed a bit small. The thing I did like was the bathroom door wasn't immediately visible when you walked into the room thus giving the guest more privacy. We were quite comfy for the duration of our visit.

    5
    « Very Nice Hotel »

This hotel exceeds what you expect when choosing a BW Plus. Nice large room, big TV and the Breakfast Room was very spacious with a view--unusual for hotels of any brand. The staff was very professional, both at the desk and housekeeping. We enjoyed our stay and chose this hotel again on our return trip. Would definitely recommend this hotel for your family.

    5
« Quiet and peaceful location. »

If you like to stay at an accommodation located outside city limits and where it's not crowded and noisy, I would strongly recommend this BW location. Its approximately 10 miles south of the city of Kalispell and conveniently close to Flathead Lake. There's a C-Mart Exxon conveniently beside the hotel as well. Many of the rooms have been renovated including the one I stayed in. Check on and check out process was easy and staff very friendly. There's a bar inside the hotel as well as other services such as ballrooms. One thing you don't ever want to do is leave without having their hot breakfast which is free with your stay! From every hotel that offers hot breakfast the rule of thumb is to be awake early so you don't miss out on the good food. One main difference between other best western chains is they have something different everyday of the week. There's a posting of menu items around the hotel and Sunday's which I dined there the chef decides what they will make! They also carry the usual complimentary items as well - a machine to make pancakes or waffles. Parking is awesome there for vehicles of all sizes. They have a regular parking lot for normal vehicles and for big trucks. There's also pet friendly options and a huge place to walk your pets. Definitely would return here again!!

    5
    « Wonderful! »

Unexpectedly found ourselves in need of a pet friendly room on a Saturday night in Kalispell. All the other options were full. Even though their designated pet friendly rooms were occupied, they graciously accommodated us. Great bed, nice sized quiet rooms, good breakfast, delicious coffee and super nice people. I cannot recommend this location highly enough.

    4
    « Clean, Dog friendly »

Great experience. The free b-fast is a plus. Enjoyed the large grass area for walking pets. I've come to love the Best Western hotels since I know what to expect and the experiences have always been good

    4
« Nice hotel south of Kalispell »

First of all, its near Flathead Lake, not on it. Rooms were nice, great breakfast, lobby and meeting areas looking like they were in midst of remodel, but otherwise nice place. Close to Somers and Lakeside. A little bit of a drive if you want to be right in Kalispell.

    4
« Review of Best Western Plus Flathead Lake Inn and Suites »

Convenient location, great accommodations with FREE WIFI, pool, hot tub, work out room and full hot breakfast included. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Hotel staff was friendly, service was excellent and the rooms were well maintained.

    5
    « Great place »

This place is exceptional and the provided breakfast was the best ever according to our kids....we would agree. Beautiful hotel and very nice staff. The room was great and the the property is very nice. Keep in mind it is a little ways outside of Kalispell but not too far.

« Clean, friendly, helpful, nice »

After a long day of driving and trying to find something online, we drove into town looking for a place to stay after not having luck online or calling around. Best Western Plus was right on the highway and easy to turn into. The receptionist was kind, happy, polite and helpful, giving us the best rate she could, which with a AAA discount was less than any online price we had found. The whole hotel was clean and well kept. All the staff were friendly, kind, considerate and very helpful. Everything in the room was clean, worked, comfy, and everything that we needed. And I'm pretty picky. The free breakfast was wonderful. So much variety...lots of options for any special diet as well. Great start to a full day in Glacier Nat'l Park! We'd definitely stay here again if we are in the area!

    5
« Usual Best Western Pride of Ownership »

I prefer Best Western because the properties are individually owned usually by someone from the local community. This is true here also. The housekeeping staff easily accommodated our preferences for heating/cooling and linen changes. General comment about Kalispell----highway identification markers are infrequent. Helps to have your own GPS or smart phone. Locals happily helped us when we got lost. We met many folk who have moved from other parts of the USA to Kalispell and are delighted to now call it their permanent home.

    « Mini 3 Day Vacation »

We booked this hotel on a last minute idea for our family of 4 (kids 2 & 4) from August 18-21, 2016. We were planning to arrive around 11pm and I had called ahead of time to ensure our room would be held for our late arrival which wasn't a problem at all and we got right into our room once we arrived. Our room and the hotel was super clean and I really appreciated all the little extras included with the toiletries such as make up wipes and a bottle opener provided with the room. Having the buffet breakfast from 6:30-9:30am daily was such a life saver with little kids and really helped save that expense from a vacation plus we could take a piece of fruit or a muffin to go for a snack later. And it was wonderful to have a mini fridge in the room to chill our drinks before an outing. There was a coffee/tea/water station with cookies right across from the front desk on the main floor which was so nice to have. The pool is open 24 hours with pool towels set up in the pool room which I really appreciated when my 2 year old woke up much earlier than my husband and son so I had somewhere to take her to keep her occupied until the rest of the family woke up. The location of this hotel is just outside Kalispell straight down the 93 with a gas station and convenience store right next door and it was perfect!! The staff were absolutely amazing, every single person we dealt with from the front desk staff to the breakfast room staff to the housekeeping staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating!!! The housekeeping staff even went over and above to leave our kids a note from the towel monkey that they'd created and hung in the curtains about all the "fun & adventures" that the monkey had with our kids stuff animals while we'd been away for the day...I've never seen anything like that outside a cruise ship and it was greatly appreciated!!! Our kids were thrilled!! They'd even taken the liberty to turn up our air conditioning to cool off the room for us as it had been 90/32 degrees that day and it was amazing to walk in from that heat to a nice cool room!!! We were so impressed with everything this hotel offered plus the "little extras" and the staff. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Kalispell!!!

    5
    « Magic Montana »

I booked the presidential suite and was treated as one. Great room and huge balcony/ Wonderful summer morning experience with a spectacular sunrise. The only thing I could ask for is a breakfast with less sugar products and for instance more fresh fruit, cured meats, real scrambled eggs etc.

    5
« Perfect Family Hotel in beautiful Flathead Lake area »

This recently remodeled hotel had everything we needed and more. The rooms are spacious with wood looking flooring. You can easily fit a roll away bed in the room. You have a nice fridge and microwave. They have pet friendly rooms with a nice area to walk your dog and bags for collecting leavings. They have washer dryer available. The free breakfast is standard buffet offerings. They have cookies in the lobby. Convenient to Flathead Lake and many restaurants and shops. As a bonus, all the staff are friendly and helpful. Housekeeping ladies were simply wonderful. Highly recommend. The pool is also quite nice; it's indoor with a hot tub.

    4
« High priced but a good hotel »

This hotel was very good in most every category with the exception of price & location. It was too far from town which was our main focus on this trip & we felt the cost was too high for the average traveler.

    5
    « Awesome Service »

In our recent stay at the Best Western we received great directions and suggestions from the front desk regarding a local Mexican restaurant and a local bar which served a very good pizza. The best directions and some information about Glacier National Park wee also helpful. The property looked brand new and was very comfortable. I would suggest this location to anyone visiting Flathead Lake or Glacier National Park! I recommend it without reservation (although you will need one!).

    4
    « Gateway to Glacier Nat'l Park »

Our vacation trip to Glacier caused us to need to spend a night in the Kalispell area prior to entering the Park. The BW Kalispell has a nice location, situated a little south of the town, which enabled us to see a little more of the Flathead Valley area, very attractive and unlike New England. We got a great recommendation for a dinner spot, the Tamarack, which was a good choice. Even though this BW isn't directly on the way to GNP (about 7 mi south of the town) we'd recommend it when in the area.

    5
« Friendly staff and beautiful hotel »

We did not have a reservation and we were traveling with our dogs. Shane, the front clerk was so helpful during check in. We wanted to use our Best Western Points and he went above and beyond working with the assistant manager to make sure we did. We were at the back of the hotel but I understand with dogs that's most likely for the benefit of the other guests. We will definitely plan another trip to stay there again. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful!

    « Family Reunion, July 20-24, 2016 »

My cousin and I were assigned to make family reunion arrangements. The reunion was held on July 20-24, 2016 at the Best Western Plus in Kalispell MT. I can't say enough about the quality of the service we were provided by the Best Western Plus staff. The arrangements for any reunion are always very complicated but were resolved quickly and efficiently by Best Western personnel. They were all very accommodating and patient. I would like to thank Scott Rieke, the General Manager, for his staff leadership; my SPECIAL THANKS to CJ Williamson, Front Office Manager, who answered my unending phone call questions beginning about 12 months prior to the reunion; thanks to Tia Celentano, Sales Manager for her great help with the welcome reception accommodations; and to Samantha Rieke for her continued assistance all during the reunion. Our reunion was a great success thanks to the superior customer service at the Best Western Plus. John P. Penzien

    « Highly recommend! »

Our room and property was very clean and well maintained. Staff was exceptional!! Very friendly and helpful and made you feel at home. Fresh cookies & coffee every afternoon. Great variety of food for breakfast every morning.

    5
« Wonderful service and staff »

We had our car break down in front of the hotel on our way home to Spokane. The staff were extremely helpful in getting us a room and helping us extend our stay as we waited for our car to be repaired. The breakfast is fantastic, the rooms and the entire building were very clean and well maintained, and everyone from the front desk to the food service to the housekeeping staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Despite our car difficulties, we had a wonderful experience.

    5
    « Summer Trip 2016 »

The rooms were spotless, the staff was exceptional. Any request was met with "Of course", "Certainly" or "My pleasure". Breakfast was great every morning and the kitchen staff was always smiling. Were were on Harley's and they had an area to wash the bikes with a hose, bucket and any cleaning rags you wanted. We would love to go back. Possible Harley trip again next year. We spent every night on the deck. Tables and chairs available in open or under cover. The hotel was very convenient for our day rides to Glacier Park and around Flathead Lake.

« Lovely property near Kalispell »

This new property sits just around the corner from Flathead Lake, about 15 minutes South of Kalispell with a view across the rich farming land of the Flathead Lake Valley. The rooms and bath are average size but new and nicely appointed. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast was served in an ample space with outdoor seating and a view of the valley. There is no restaurant on the premisses but you are not far from Kalispell or from the resorts on Flathead Lake with restaurants there. There is a hot tub, gym, and an indoor pool. I lost a camera chip in the room and was called by the host the week after I got back. They kindly returned it to me.

    « 2 nights at Best Western »

Stayed for 2 nights and although was a little pricey (hotels in Kalispell in summer are very pricey!) was a great stay. Room was very comfortable. We have 3 young adult children and when we booked I asked for 1 room (2 queen beds) and a cot. They suggested it may be crowded but I assured them we'd be fine. Room was plenty big to accommodate! Clean room a few minutes out of Kalispell. Breakfast was very good in the mornings! Decent pool and friendly helpful staff!! Would definitely stay again if in the area!

Great staff, amenities and rates. Always treated very well. Welcomed with a smile and kind word. They always go out of their way to make sure I got what I need and am happy with my stay. Great group of people and wonderfully comfortable, clean rooms

« Love the whole experience! »

This was a magical delightful hotel for my first trip to Glacier National Park. I work in HR and staff development and was so impressed with the level of teamwork and staff enjoyment at their place of work. Happy people make happy places. Thank you it was fabulous with the best pool and breakfast buffet ever! Lori from Seattle

« Family Owned and Operated »

This past July we held a family reunion with approximately 50 guests at the Best Western Plus Hotel on the outskirts of Kalispell, MT. Scott, the owner/manager, his family and staff took great care of us and insured that we had a successful family reunion. Their excellent service started when we first contacted them for reservations. Our reception took place in their Royal Oak Room which is a fantastic venue for events. The guest rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was able to accommodate our needs by providing the complimentary breakfast "to go" on a morning when we were leaving early for a trip to Glacier National Park. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel for either an individual stay or a group event.

    « Can't wait to go back »

Very clean, well thought out, and super attentive to the guests. Do not hesitate to ask questions they want your experience to be great. That is how I felt staying there. Oh and being a bit of a geek nerd IT addicted individual there internet is fast!

    « Clean and we'll maintained »

We stayed at this best western while visiting glacier national park. The hotel is very nice with clean rooms and has a nice breakfast room, however I would recommend something closer to the park like in Columbia falls as it is a 45 minute drive to the park.So driving this twice a day eats up your time that could have been spentinthepark. The staff is very nice and friendly also but this hotel is better for visiting flathead lake.

« On the way to Glacier National Park »

This was a beautiful hotel. We enjoyed every aspect of this stay. The desk straff was very friendly and helpful. It was a great location for going to Glacier National Park, The breakfast was the best of our entire vacation.

« Top notch on service, cleanliness, maintenance. »

My spouse & I decided to visit Glacier National Park at the last minute so there was nothing available close to the Park. This Best Western is 45 Min from West Glacier entrance. The friendly staff gave us directions to avoid Kalispell city traffic. The breakfast service is from 6:30 to 9:30 and includes anything you could want. I mentioned to staff that the breakfast was delicious and she told me "It's because it is made with love." There is out door seating for breakfast and I saw folks sipping wine in the evenings. Laundry room was air conditioned and brightly lit--$1.75 per wash w/ change and soap machines. 24 hour coffee and tea in the lobby. 24hr pool & spa in separate but bridged building, so no pool noise. Beds were comfy with soft and firm pillows already on each bed. Mini fridge, micro and coffee pot in each room. The separate shower and toilet room was very small-just room to turn around. There is a huge convenience/gas mart next door--just walk or drive thru connecting parking lot. Lots of motorcycles parked outside in the mornings--I never heard them come in so it is quiet. I highly recommend!

Clean, wonderful room. Our kids loved the pool. The Breakfast had many options and all of the options were delicious! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Our family of five really enjoyed our stay here on our way to Glacier National Park.

« Excellent Best Western Plus »

As far as chain hotels go this is a wonderful one. The staff was professional, courteous and helpful. The quiet room was spacious with a clean, comfortable bed. The complimentary hot breakfast included items made on site: blueberry muffins, breads, omelets. The cookies in the foyer were a real treat too! Across the street is an 11 mile bicycle/pedestrian path along the river to Flathead Lake. I also stayed at the Homewood Suites in Kalispell. Also an excellent facility but more expensive. It includes a kitchenette with real glasses-BW has plastic cups. Homewood is closer to downtown and is located across the street from a Walmart and Costco. It is not near a bike trail or pristine Flathead Lake. BW was better value.

    « Disappointed »

Poor location. No restaurant onsite. Terrible view of an old hotel from room. Need more staff at counter as we had to wait at counter for over 10 minutes as staff were not present at the counter as they were dealing with matters outside of reception. Price paid was not a good value. Clean rooms. Nice décor. Staff were friendly when around.

    « Comfortable Stay »

We stayed two nights at this location. The hotel is located between Flathead Lake and Kalispell. It is just off the highway and easy to find, but not located near restaurants or other amenities. There is a gas station next door with a small market. The hotel has recently been updated and we found it to be clean and nicely appointed. The beds were comfortable and the rooms generous in size. The bathroom is a bit tight but having the sink outside the bath is helpful. There is a refrigerator with a freezer compartment. The indoor pool is large enough to actually long enough to swim a lap if you would like and the hot tub was large and very warm. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was quite good offering a nice varied buffet. The only complaint was the noise from the squeaky carts and the noise between floors. We didn't notice between room noise.

« well tended hotel, very friendly staff and helpful »

The staff went above and beyond to help my mother who is 93 yrs old and visually debilitated. Thanks to them for that. Well tended hotel, very clean, quiet and easy to get to and from to anywhere in flathead valley.

« Best Western near Flathead Lake in Montana »

This hotel has clean and comfortable rooms. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a new food added to the menu daily. One day it was homemade Montana oatmeal with raisins, another day cheese blintzes with huckleberry jam, or homemade breads of different kinds. The location is near Flathead Lake, and an hour away from the West Glacier entrance of Glacier National Park. The staff was friendly as well.

    5
    « Newly remodeled »

A newly remodeled hotel. 24 hour pool and hot tub is a unique feature. The rooms were very well done with lots of space. The beds were very comfy. Breakfast is only until 9:30 which we knew we wouldn't make. Wish it were until 10 like the other Best Westerns we have stayed at. Parking is a plenty here and it's not very far from Kalispell. Maybe a 20 minute drive. I would stay here again.

« Nice motel not far out of Kalispell »

We enjoyed our overnight here. The motel is situated not far south of Kalispell MT and also close to Flathead Lake, just of US Hwy 93. The room was large and well decorated. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was quiet. The hot breakfast was great and in a large room with lots of space to spread people out. We recommend this BW as a good place to spend one or a few nights while in this area of MT.

    « Newly redecorated »

Nice, clean, newly redecorated hotel. The rooms were nice sized and clean. Breakfast was a very pleasant surprise, real eggs, waffles and many other choices. Good coffee. Nice dining area and also a workout room. Nice laundry area with easy access. A little far from town with very few shopping and restaurants near by. Very, very friendly staff at front desk and in dining area.

    « Nice hotel! »

We stayed at a Best Western in Wyoming on the same trip it was disgusting. This hotel however is wonderful! The front Lobby is beautiful! Rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. Complimentary breakfast as well. Has an elevator from the lobby otherwise stairs to second and third floors. This hotel is located in between Bigfork, lakeside, and Kalispell so lots of choices.

« Highly redcommend this Plus Hotel !! »

Outstanding. One of the finest and best "Plus" hotels that we have ever stayed in. Spa and pool were perfect as well as \\the attitude of all employees. CJ, the owner, was very cordial and suggested local sites and restaurants, which were perfect for my wife and I. Recommend very highly !! Go CJ !!!

    « Flathead Best Western »

Property is located out of Kalispell proper, very near Flathead Lake. The hotel has been renovated well. Our room was clean and worked for two individuals - it was smaller than other BW properties we have stayed at. Staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast was one of the best of our month-long road trip - well done!

    5
« close to big Fork and Flathead Lake »

This was a very nice hotel, located near two sites we wanted to visit and also on the way to our final destination in Spokane on the way from Glacier. Nice breakfast included. I recommend making the trip to Big Fork which is close by and I had never visited even though I had been to Kalispel many times. Big Fork is a small town with lots of shops fun for everyone.

« Beautiful hotel, high price, right-wing owners? »

The hotel was beautiful and the room was great -- comfortable bed, great pillows, really nice breakfast with some offerings for those who want to eat healthy -- soymilk, almond milk, eggs without meat in them, fruit, etc. The pool and hot tub were clean and the perfect temperature! We never had to share it despite the fact there were plenty of other people in the hotel -- apparently, everyone must head out early to get to the National Park or the many lakes in the area. It was so peaceful and quiet! It bothered us that Fox News was playing on the tv during breakfast and we asked them to switch to neutral CNN. They would not. Instead they just turned the tv off. I like news with my breakfast but didn't want to be forced to watch far-right propaganda by Fox, especially during the election. Thought CNN would be a good compromise (I did not ask them for MSNBC!), but apparently, that was objectionable to them. We played checkers in the lobby and had to hear gospel music over the piped-in radio.. Then, we noticed Bible study met in the community room upstairs. Overall, it felt pretty religious, which made us uncomfortable since we are not religious. I would stay there again, and I would ask them to turn off Fox news every time.

    « Great Experience »

Our room was amazing. The Bed was wonderful. If I could have taken it with me I would have. We did not do a very good job of planning and Lucked out that this room was available. Great service Wonderful room.

« Home from home vacation »

We had planned a last minute trip to Kalispell and were looking for somewhere to stay. We stumbled across this Best Western by chance and so glad we did. They have a 3 bedroom house at the rear of the property that you can rent and it is awesome. The house has everything that you could need and we still had full use of all the hotels facilities (pool, hot-tub, breakfast etc). Travelling as 2 families with small children it was great that they could run around and make noise and not disturb neighboring rooms in the hotel. The house faces onto a huge grassed area at the rear of the hotel so the kids also had room to run around and burn off any excess energy. Yes, the property is 10-15 minutes out of town, but no big deal when you can bring your groceries back to the house, prepare a meal or have a take-out and sit on the deck with a cold beer or glass of wine. The hotel staff were fantastic and we will definitely be back.

    5
« Great hotel but pricy »

The hotel is newly renovated so the rooms were nice as was the rest of the hotel. The breakfast menu changes every morning which was very nice. The rooms are pricy especially since you have no view to speak of. We also stayed at at cabin down the road which was less expensive and just as nice.

« Best Breakfast in Town »

This hotel was very updated and nice. Beautiful property. Breakfast is included and was great, especially the oatmeal. We left some items in the room when we checked out and the hotel called us later that day to see if they could return them to us!! Would stay here again!!! In fact, this is our second time at the hotel!

    4
« Great staff, and rates »

I travel to Montana quite a bit, and I prefer to stay here. They always take good care of me. The staff is very helpful, and courteous. Big Fork, Kalispell, and Flathead are near by, plus you can't beat the view, and breakfast.

    5
    « CJ was wonderful »

From the front desk staff to the breakfast, we were very impressed. CJ took the time to address our requests and was very friendly in the process. The hotel was beautiful and the location was great. This has been one of our favorite stays!

    « Great stay »

My wife and stayed here for the first time . It was an outstanding experience across the board. The staff was fantastic,, the room was perfect and the location met our needs. The hotel was perfect home base to see the Flathead region and Glacier park. Would defintelity stay here again!

    « Vacation stay »

What a wonderful hotel. CJ, who worked the front desk, is charming, so helpful, and arranged our stay over the phone. The general manager was there and came out to speak to us as well. Our room was superb. Used the laundry facilities and ample machines so no waiting. Breakfast room was clean, large area, plenty of warm, hot food. Welcoming, warm cookies as we checked in and each night we stayed. A bit of a drive to Glacier, but worth it for the value and cleanliness.

    « Heading North »

We stayed at Best Western Plus during the unexpected loss of a family member. Katrina T., as well as other front desk staff, worked with us in rescheduling rooms as needed on a daily basis. Best Western Plus was very quiet even though it is close to a busy highway/shopping area. It was convenient to get back and forth to the hospital. Overall, the Inn is very clean, comfortable, and friendly. There is parking on one end, even though it is marked for compact cars, for vehicles pulling trailers and boats.

« Perfect Venue for Board of Directors Retreat »

We had approximately 20 Board and staff members stay at the hotel for an annul Board of Director's Retreat. Everything was beautiful! The rooms, the Ballroom/conference area and catering were all wonderful. The acoustics in the conference room were so great we didn't even need to use the sound system for our group. Even though they were very busy it was always quiet and nothing out of place. The swimming pool was huge and the hot tub very nice! Everything was super clean and attended to and all rooms were just updated! The full breakfast was delicious and all the food that was catered for our meetings was excellent! All the staff were very accommodating and took the time to care for our every need! They were also very flexible with multiple last minute changes! I highly recommend this venue for personal or business needs. Looking forward to the day the hotel can offer bar and food service (other than catering) since there is not a restaurant next door. The location is very convenient and easily reach downtown Kalispell, Somers or Bigfork in just a few minutes.

« Love this place and the people »

I stayed here for about 21 days in total and from the first night I could see the people were really kind and loving and going out of their way to help those who live there. Their breakfast is delicious specially the Hot Montana Apple Oatmeal and the Bread Pudding!! Their Hot Tub is really nice too! One word of advice is that if you stay here, make sure to have a car to drive around to nearby restaurants, it will make life much easier. I believe the hotel are looking forward to opening their bar to serve basic food, when that happens it will be even better!! Looking forward to staying here again next year!

« Nice but needs work »

When we checked in the elevator was not working. I asked for a first floor unit since I am not supposed to overdo it on stairs. I was told they were booked and could not help me. The young man on the desk offered to help us with our luggage. He did help a bit. The elevator was still out three days later and I made several trips up and down the stairs loading the car to leave. Trying to get to sleep one night, there was no electricity in our room. I cannot sleep without a C-Pap machine so sleep was out of the question. They have a generator, but that is only for hall lights. The room was black. It seems for safety reasons a generator large enough to keep one lamp and outlet available in every room would be smarter. Of course the hotel cannot be held reasonable for electric outages. We stay in quite a few Best Western Hotels when we travel. I have never been in one were the tub did not have some sort of anti-slip base on the floor of the tub. For the first time in my life I slipped and fell in this tub hitting my back on the faucet. It was like an ice skating rink. Luckily I was not injured. We had to lay a towel on the bottom of the tub for the rest of our stay to keep from falling. All the renovations in the world are no good when you cut corners on safety. This could have been a beautiful hotel experience in one of the newer Best Western Hotels, but too many negative factors kept making it a nightmare.

    « Great place overall »

Excellent customer service, a lap pool where you can do real swimming, excellent Wi-Fi speed and typical bw breakfast. Rooms well appointed, but it is a bit on the small side. Very clean. The bathroom is a bit dated but it's fine. A bit out of kalispell. About 6 miles.

« One night at Best Western Plus Flathead Lake Inn »

Good hotel, in terms of environment, location, room decoration and cleanliness, as well as friendly service at front desk. But it's a bit over-priced. Poor soundproofing resulted in noises when other guests walked or ran down the hallway.

    5
« Very nice hotel with good service. »

This was a very nice hotel. Rooms were well appointed and maintained. Breakfast each morning was excellent. Nice bonus with cookies and coffee in the lobby. The hotel is right off Highway 93 and there isn't much in the immediate vicinity. I would definitely stay there again.

    3
« Great Hotel. Broken elevator. »

This is a nice hotel in a great location. However, the elevator was broken during our entire stay and we were on the third floor. The staff knew of the problem many days before our arrival. We should have been notified so we could have made alternate lodging arrangements. I feel this was negligence on the part of the Best Western staff.

    5
    « Cross Country Stay »

Nice hotel for it to be so far from everything. The family that owned the hotel were very professional. The father was the manager, and his daughter and son were working the front desk when we checked in, very nice young adults. The breakfast was good it is a little different. They prepare a couple of different dishes for breakfast everyday

    4
    « Good, not great »

This was a good hotel room, good service. But nothing that makes it great. Fitness center awful, pool okay. interesting they change some breakfast foods each morning. Room was clean and plenty of space for a family. Again, good but not great

« Going to the Sun »

This is a gorgeous property. We asked for a view room and we got it. The attendant was very attentative and gave us a very nice room with view of the trees. Beautiful little town has awesome lake nearby. We were on our way to Glacier National Park and stopped here the night before Going to the Sun Road. A great choice.

    5
« Scenic Lake AREA Location »

Beautiful room with comfy beds. Extremely clean and orderly. Breakfast was excellent during our five day stay with different items each day. The Montana apple cinnamon oatmeal was the BEST? Beverages and cookies upon arrival to greet us. Family operated with staff that really cared about making our stay special. One of the best BWPlus hotels that we have stayed at and we travel thousands of miles every year? Its the wonderful people at the hotel that makes the difference.?

    4
« Great place to stay! »

The service was excellent, very friendly staff. Very clean. great location! I noticed a comment earlier about the elevator. The staff went out of their way to bring our luggage up to our room. Not a problem at all. Due to a lightning strike the elevator circuit blew. Not their fault. but they are accommadating their guest the best they can!

    5
« Excellent but too pricey for the area »

Our two queen bed room was huge and beautifully appointed. Everything looked new, especially the carpeting. The only negative was the tiny bathroom counter space. Plenty of soft towels. The breakfast area was enormous with a wall of windows facing the mountains. Great selection of hot breakfast items and the area was well maintained. The hotel is midway between Kalispell and Lakeside so we were disappointed in not having a nice place to eat without having to drive several miles in either direction. As a result, we thought the room was a little pricey for the area.

    5
    « Way above average »

I travel several times/year and have stayed at many hotels over the years. This one is the best of them for the following reasons: - My bed was significantly more comfortable. I had no trouble getting to sleep and slept like a baby after going to sleep. - AC/heater worked well and you can set the fan on continuous so you don't get woke up every time it turns on or off. - The hair dryer has a button that allows you to turn off the heater when drying yourself. - The free breakfast selection is above average and the items they have are fresh and kept stocked. There were several workers in the breakfast area who were very attentive and friendly. Tables and seating area was kept perfectly clean. Since the food was fresh and properly cooked the result was that the food was noticeably better than any other hotel I've been to that offers free breakfast. Their coffee is the best I've ever had at a hotel. - The refrigerator actually keeps stuff truly cold. This is an incredibly rare thing to find at a hotel.

« Newly Remodeled, beautiful, clean, and PERFECTLY AFFORDABLE! »

My wife and I typically are cautious about staying at some Best Western Hotels, as we wish our standard of a "great night" is everyone else's. With THIS one, we cannot stop the bragging... The hotel is newly remodeled, it is clean, the staff are professional as well as warm and friendly! This hotel gives you a 5 star feeling at a 3 star price! The location is great, easy to get to, and close to both Whitefish and Kalispell. This hotel is even great if you are wanting to visit the Glacier National Park! The drive to the park was scenic, fun, and had tons of great sights to see on the way! STAY HERE... DO YOURSELF A FAVOR!

    4
« Great stay in Best Western PLUS Flathead »

Though it's a little bit far from downtown Kalispell, I appreciated its serenity. And it's not difficult to get refuel and food supply besides the hotel. Furthermore, if you're interested in Flathead Lake, I would recommend that staying in Best Western PLUS Flathead.

    5
    « BEST everything »

The hotel was excellent! Not all features were working. My 80 year old grandma and two kids had to climb stairs because the elevator was out. This was the only complaint I had. The staff was great. The hotel breakfast was phenomenal as far as hotel breakfasts go. The rooms were clean and everything was in working order. The bathrooms were a little older but very clean. The bed was good.

    5
« We recommend this excellent Hotel if you want to feel pampered and comfortable! »

    « Excellent Hotel »

Our stay at the Kalispell, Montana Best Western was the best stay we've ever had. Everything was wonderful even down to all the details. They truly have thought of everything. The lemon ice water, beautiful decor inside and out was wonderful, welcoming and inviting. Loved the music played as we walked into the hotel and the breakfast was the best we've ever had. What a spread! I tasted like homemade. Our time there was unforgettable. A big thanks for everything! We will highly recommend Kalispell, Montana Best Western to others. Blessings! Tami & Ron

Hotel was really clean. breakfast ,eggs sausage and gravy was excellent.. Partial power loss due to a storm but was not their fault. Elevator didn't work but they helped carry bags to the room . Staff really friendly and helpful. Warm cookies a big plus. 7 miles from major eating establishments.

    « Glacier motorcycle trip »

The staff was exceptionally focused on customer service and making sure we had a great experience. Very helpful with suggestions for dining and directions. CJ, Skyler, Caleb and Samantha were all welcoming and knowledgeable, which is very nice since there are too many hotel staff that could care less whether you are there or not. Offered motorcycle parking under covered portico without having to ask. Close and easy to get to Kalispell and Flathead/Bigfork area with a 45 minute very pleasant drive to Apgar Village. Great rooms, comfortable beds and pillows and outstanding homemade breakfast buffet included. Kudos to the chef. Different menu items each day. Very impressive with fresh fruit, waffles, egg dishes, crepes, make your own combo yogurt, meats. Would definitely return to this hotel if opportunity arises

    « A breath of fresh air! »

We are on a two week road trip and this was our favorite place so far. The rooms were immaculate and all of the staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. My son enjoyed the pool. The free breakfast was delicious and varied. Even the laundry room was clean and in good working order. The only con was a broken elevator. Apparently from a lightning strike the week before. What can you do? The elevator was being fixed the day we left. But the staff was so accommodating, carrying our heavy luggage up and down the stairs for us. We let them know we really appreciated them going the extra mile. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

« Professional, pleasant staff, clean, visually attractive »

New renovated, attractive hotel. It was clean. The staff was professional and pleasant, but the elevator wasn't working so we had to carry luggage to the 3rd floor. In all fairness they offered to have someone help us and we choose to take care of it ourselves. As an older couple I wish we hadn't. Lightening had struck and caused the elevator to stop working, which shouldn't effect your stay, hopefully. Breakfast was free and good. The closest place to eat dinner was 8 or 9 miles away. I would recommend staying in this hotel.

    « 2night stay »

Great place. Beautiful room. Very clean. Great bed. Nice flatscreen. Breakfast better than most. Great staff all around. Nice pool with showers. 7 miles from kalispell city center. 5 miles to lake and tamarack inn for dinner. Convenient for glacier.

« Worst Western is more like it! »

DO NOT stay here is you want peace and quiet. The front desk staff either doesn't know the lay out of their hotel very well or just plain lazy to tell you where exactly is the room located after you tell then you do not want a room near any exit, stairs, elevators. She also seemed very uncertain but did not do anything to confirm information. Stay elsewhere! Trust me, I travel a lot as you can see from my reviews!

    5
« Great place to relax »

This is a great place to stay for Flathead Lake and Glacier National Park. The staff was very nice, the breakfast was great and it gives you quick access to the great places in Kalispell. We used it for home base for 2 days of exploring Glacier National Park. If you are a lake person this is the place.

« More like Worst Western to me! »

The front staff is definitely dishonest and not accommodating. She gave me the worst room possible first by saying its close to the stairs then when I told her I do t want anything g close to the stairs then she changed and said, well it's not that close to the staircase. Then there are kids running around up and down the stairs with no parental supervision. Of course, the staff didn't do anything g about it either. If you want some place quiet, clean, don't stay here. It's also over priced! I was only there for a total of 6 hours.

    « Five star treatment! »

We are sharing our little gem in Kalispell. This hotel was recently renovated and now each room has a fridge and micro! We love the big pool and hot tub -- immaculately clean! You get a fantastic breakfast which changes daily! Can't say enough about friendly, accommodating staff. Sure, it's a mile out of town but well worth the drive. Owner is around and we always feel welcome, safe and appreciated. BEST place in Kalispell for 5 star treatment! No kidding!

    « a night in Kalispell »

We really enjoyed our stay in Kalispell and I wish we could have stayed another night. The hotel was exteriorly attractive and our room was clean, the king bed was very comfortable and we used the refrigerator which was in good working order. The shower was great but we did notice the water temperature fluctuated between hot and cold and required quick adjustments. Hotel staff, notably the front desk clerk on the day we checked out was very considerate and offered a "to go" breakfast when she learned I missed the breakfast bar. Would recommend this hotel and we would stay here again.

    « Lori's review »

Love the hotel but not being by the dog suite and getting jolted out of a deep sleep at 1:30 and 3:30 in the morning by barking dogs. I felt when I told the front desk person there should have been some sort of compensation for lose of sleep. When I called the front dest at 3:30 in the morning to complain about the dogs his only solution was to change rooms. I felt if I did that I would be so awake I would be up for the day. Luckily the dogs did not bark again until she took them out at 7:30 in the morning. I do like dogs just not barking in the middle of the night. I will return to this hotel because I like it so much. I just will be carful on the room I get.

    « Best place ever! »

My boyfriend and I stayed here for the Spartan race weekend, which happened to also be his birthday weekend as well. They allowed for us to check in a little late, since our flight got us in by midnight. Their breakfast has a variety of everything. And they allowed for us to stay two hours after check out. This is a yearly tradition and we will be coming back to stay here every time. Love this place!!

« Great Access to Flathead Lake »

Though on Business, i think this is a great hotel that is at the gateway to Flathead Lake, outside of Kalispell about 10 miles or so south, they have done a remodel for the lobby, rooms and bar. The staff has always gone the extra in making sure I have what I need.

Very nice hotel - clean and new. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of parking. Beds are super comfortable and they actually have good pillows not like most other hotels. Would definitely stay there again.

« Decent place to stay »

Still under construction, but everything seemed to function well. Only drawback is you have to drive a little to find food. This has good access to Hwy 93, and the bypass is just up the road. Everything appeared clean.

« Great value for a pleasant stay in Kalispell »

A nice clean hotel close to Bigfork and Kalispell at a reasonable rate. Excellent breakfast with lots of high protein choices, with delicious homemade bread pudding and oatmeal. Comfy new beds and nice new decor. The hot tub was clean and spacious, and though I didn't use it, the lap pool looked inviting. Excellent staff took care of me as I was on crutches

« Great Pet Friendly Hotel »

This is the first time we have traveled with our dog (Newfie) and he is a fairly big breed as well. We were a wary on arrival, but this was listed as a pet friendly hotel, and sure enough, we were all greeted at the front desk, including our dog. They had 5 designated pet friendly rooms, and a large grassed area out the back of the hotel for pets to be let off leash. We visited this hotel two years prior and it was OK, but they are doing extensive upgrades, and the rooms are really good know and the breakfast area is very good as well. So thanks again, for a great stay form myself and my happy dog.

« Wonderful Stay, Will definately go back! »

I have nothing negative to say about this place. The visit was wonderful. The rooms are brand new. Ours huge room had a fireplace and Jacuzzi tub plus nice sitting area, fridge, microwave and a king bed for $106 a night. (awards member rate) The breakfast was very good. Sunday is chefs choice and Monday biscuits and gravy. And fresh baked cookies after 3 PM. The staff was the nicest I have ever encountered at a hotel. Even Kathi our room attendant was so friendly. She is about to celebrate her 5th anniversary. A limited restaurant and bar is coming, but it is close to many good restaurants. I will definitely stay there again and again...

    « Spring Break Stay »

My daughters and I stay here for part of Spring Break to visit family and friends. The staff is so welcoming and treats you like a friend. Even during the renovation they make your stay comfortable! They let us use the breakfast room for dinner which with 3 kids was much needed! I can't wait till the renovations are finished. I will definitely be staying here every time I go to Kalispell!

« Always great experience at Best Western Plus Flathead Lake Inn and Suites, Kalispell »

We live in Canada, British Columbia. While traveling to Vancouver Island, we prefer to drive the 95 trough the USA. Best Western has been our choice exclusively for past several years both in Canada and the USA. Best Western PLUS Flathead Lake Inn and Suites, Kalispell, Montana has been our number one choice. They have done some very impressive renovations recently and the rooms and the Inn are very nice. The people working there take this Inn above the average. The service is professional, helpful and very friendly. We know that we'll be coming back next time. Best Regards Milan and Veronica Chalupnik

    « Location »

A good hotel although some renovations taking place...might have led to the hot then cold water pressure during our stay. It wasn't too bad overall. Service, cleanliness, and breakfast were good although expect to see lots of reminders of Christianity all over the place (e.g. music playing in the lobby, guests, meetings). Its not pushed in your face, but certainly noticeable. I was happy with the value but not with how far it is from Kalispell and that there are no restaurants/stores nearby. You need a car. It is closer to the lake and Big Fork though.

« One of the best hotels we've ever visited!! »

We picked this hotel for our weeklong spring break trip to Kalispell. Not having ever visited Montana before, we did a fair amount of research on hotels and saw how highly this place was rated. There are so many things about this place that we liked that we are sure we will definitely return. Above all else, the staff was outstanding. Scott - the GM - was a great guy. He gave us tips on where to see wildlife, things to do/see in the area, and anything else we needed. Housekeeping staff were always pleasant and willing to offer suggestions on restaurants and things to see/do in town. We traveled with two adults and two kids (17 and 5) and had adjoining rooms. Our rooms were always well-stocked and clean. When we had leftovers from eating out, we were offered paper plates and silverware to reheat in the microwaves located in our rooms. The breakfast bar was probably THE BEST we've ever visited. The menu changed every single day and there were quite a few items prepared from their breakfast kitchen (not a bunch of packaged, processed garbage). How many places offer cheese blinzes with huckleberry jam as a hot breakfast entree?? Those were amazing!! The eggs were always fresh (not cold or runny). We also had cheese-covered omelets, several kinds of breakfast potatoes, sausage, homemade apple oatmeal (that was incredible!) and several options of homemade pastries (cinnamon rolls, muffins, banana bread). The women who ran the breakfast were hardworking and in constant motion. Yet they always paused to smile or ask if we needed anything. They shook our hands, got to know us by name and really went above and beyond. As a vacationer, these are the kinds of people you HOPE to run into on vacation because they make everything flawless. These were real people who lived in the area and really cared about making your stay as wonderful as possible. The pool - wow! Not only was it opened 24 hours (which is wonderful when you have kids that need to burn energy before bed), but it was a long, nice-sized pool. The area was very clean and well-stocked with towels. The chlorine wasn't overwhelming at all. My 5 year old insisted on swimming every single night we were there. When we first booked, we hesitated a bit because the hotel was south of Kalispell. In the end, we determined the location was actually PREFERABLE to staying in the City. We had direct access in all directions - north to Kalispell/Whitefish, east to Big Fork, south to Lakeside. We were also located near all kinds of wildlife that materialized every evening. We weren't far from anything and we didn't have to deal with City traffic (plus we really liked the green area around the hotel). Oh, and the in room wifi was the fastest we've ever encountered in a hotel. It set the bar the pretty high for any other place we may visit. This is probably one of the longest reviews I have ever written but I spent the entire week thinking how much this place really deserved a good review. I was impressed by all of the information on the website and blog about local events/restaurants, etc. What's more, the guestbook in each room had recommendations on restaurants based on their own personal experiences. It was the most informative and entertaining guest book I've ever looked through. And those places were spot on! Yup, exactly what we were looking for. The accommodations were more than ample; they were comfortable, clean, safe (VERY important to us), and just perfect for our family. The staff deserved every tip we left them. And Scott - let's just say he's the perfect example of how a good leader matters in a place like this. He was everywhere. Helping with check in, helping the housecleaners, taking care of the guests in every possible way. We will definitely go out of our way to come back to his hotel!!

    « Two Night Stay »

Without a doubt, this Best Western Plus is one of the best stops we have made. Both the employees and facility far exceeded our expectations. The breakfast presentation is nothing short of fantastic. Although there is a major renovation in progress, each employee worked around this and ensured we were completely satisfied to no end! Well done! If ever in the Flathead area again, this will be our Hotel of choice.

    « Very Restful stay »

Hotel is in the middle of renovations, so all available rooms were like new. Nice quiet atmosphere since it is located several miles outside of Kalispell. I have stayed in other hotels in the area but think this will be my choice from now on.

    « Customer is first »

The location is just outside of Kalispell right on the main road, which leads to downtown and the newest shopping area which includes Costco, TJ MAXX, Ross, many others, next door is a little store and gas station if you need anything. The staff in the hotel is very helpful. We asked if they had a dvd player for the room and they said yes, and immediately set it up in the room for us. The pool area is wonderful, I swam laps, then enjoyed time in the Jacuzzi. They have a place to shower off and dressing rooms in the area. It is well laid out. Our room had 2 beds, table 2 chairs (comfortable which they are not always. A refrigerator, microwave. Coffee was available all day long in the lobby along with cool lemon water. Breakfast was excellent (love the biscuits!) Fresh breads made every morning. Wonderful dining room with view of the mountains out the view windows located on the second floor. Great start to your busy day. My mom was with me and has a walker they had a medical stool that could be put in the bath tub and were always willing to help when they saw her. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The room was very clean and the beds extremely comfortable. The breakfast was hot and continually stocked by very friendly staff. The front desk employees were also professional and friendly. The only semi negative comment is that the room was very small to include the bathroom.

    « Excellent Weekend »

Took a drive to the Flathead for sight seeing and Valentines dinner. Flathead Lake Inn met all our expectations for a get away weekend. Located out of town of Kalispell for a peaceful access. « A very relaxing stay »

We have stayed at the Best Western Flathead Lake many times and have never been disappointed. The place is like a home away from home. Excellent staff and clean comfortable rooms. The breakfast offered is tasty and there are different options to choose from. Although the hotel is a little outside of the town of Kalispell the setting is beautiful. Looking forward to our next visit.

    « great place »

This franchise is operated by a super friendly and competent group. It is in the process of being remodeled. They were working on the third floor while we were there but it was no bother. We were on the second floor which they will do next. It was just fine so I guess it will even better. The breakfast room is on the second floor with a great view out over the valley toward the mountains. We have stayed several times before as we have property in the area which is not winterized but have been coming up during the winter as we are making some improvements.

    « Food delivery »

It's a Best Western - you get what you expect. The best thing about staying here is the food delivery from local restaurants. If you check in and you are tired as I was, but hungry- local business will deliver to your hotel for a $5. You find all info at the hotel front desk - priceless.

We were particularly pleased with the variety and quality of the complimentary breakfast, which included delicious, hot, homemade sweet rolls. « Best Hotel in the Flathead! »

We stay here for Christmas every year and this hotel is awesome! Hotel is always clean and well maintained and staff is very friendly too! This hotel has the largest swimming pool of any hotel we have stayed in. The breakfast is very good too. Good quiet location close to Kalispell and Bigfork and Flathead Lake. A remodel has been started on this hotel and we can't wait to see the finished results this summer. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!

    « Great hotel, but... »

Stayed mid-week and a snow storm but very nice staff and warm welcome. Empty lobby - not a stick of furniture - but pleasantly decorated for Christmas. Room very nice and given so few people staying there didn't expect but pleased to have a large King room including a couch. But having to walk more than half way down the hall only to be placed across from the noisiest ice machine on earth was inexplicable. Not only could it be heard in the room but it could be heard over the room heating unit. If there are so few people why make them not only walk to the farthest rooms or put people in the noisiest part of the hallway? Otherwise a wonderful hotel but avoid 318, 319 and 320 if you want to sleep.

« Not bad. Not great. »

The hotel lobby was very nice and check in was relatively smooth. After lugging our luggage to the 3rd floor and to the opposite end of the building and our key cards wouldn't work. Bad start. Had to return to the front desk and repeat that process. The room was nice and appeared clean. Very good AC. Quiet and cooled the room quickly. The bathroom was tiny. Had to carefully coordinate closing the bathroom door and maneuvering on/over the toilet. Might stay there again but might try also try an alternative too.

    « 10 day stay without a hitch »

Spent ten days here at the start of August and it went without a Hitch. I knew it was going to be alright at check-in when the front counter person actually read our checkin request and acted on it, which she was rewarded with a silver piece for it. If your hotel is actually reading their notes they care, and that is important. In the ten days we where there the room was kept spotless and we never had to ask for anything twice. The breakfast had, Gasp, Variety! it was not the same thing day after day but actually changed. Also, and this was really nice, the breakfast is served on the second floor in a room that looks out over the valley to the swan range. Nothing gets the blood pumping like eating your breakfast in front of those sort of views. There are even outdoor tables for your use. The laundry is also on the second floor and we found it very reasonable to keep our stuff clean. their is no way to pack enough for a trip that was as long as ours so Laundry facilities are a huge bonus. No, location. when you are looking at this hotel online you might hesitate because it is outside of town, well don't. This is one of the most centrally located hotels in the area. Where it sits is a junction that allows you to get to the Bigfork area in minutes by simply going west. South to Polson, lakeside, and even Missoula, and north into Kalispell itself. If you wish to visit glacier park simply go west then turn north at the first highway and its a simple drive that takes you around the Kalispell congestion. Across the street is some retention ponds and a walking trail that goes into Somers if you want to take a stroll. the ponds teem with Waterfowl and are fun to bird watch at. Finally the parking lot is attached to a Gas station/convenience store which makes getting supplies and fuel for a day out and about a snap. finally my wife loved looking at the livestock out the window, she got up every morning to see if the cows were out there or not.

    « Traveling through Montana »

We stayed here for 3 nights, and glad we did, there is so much to see. The hotel was excellent, clean rooms and friendly staff. We used this place as a hub to tour the area. So close to the mountains and lakes. And the downtown is a nice place to shop and eat. Recommend.

    « Unexpected Surprise »

I didn't have high expectations for this hotel, but the property, location and most of all the staff were excellent! This is a Best Western, so I wasn't expecting a 5 star hotel, but this hotel is a solid 3 star (which I think is its classification), however the staff rival many 5 star hotels I've stayed at. They were attentive, proactive and very pleasant! The location right on the lake can't be beat (too bad the train-line and highway are right behind the hotel, but I didn't hear any noise when I was in my room). A 5-7 minute walk from the hotel is Starbucks and some bars on the main street. The hotel was a typical Best Western, same furniture, sheets, etc.. The room was very clean, and I liked the Keurig (I would have rather have had more medium roast coffee, instead of the French Roast, which I though was a bit to strong). Had dinner at the hotel, which was a disappointment. I ordered the local grilled trout, and got some extremely large breaded fish, no flavor, and I doubt very much it was local. The wine list was great, and inexpensive, so that was a plus! For breakfast, I had the eggs benedict, which was good. I didn't want toast or potatoes so I had to pay extra to have those two items replaced with grilled tomatoes (this should have been a straight exchange, not an upcharge). Overall, I only stayed one night, not sure I'd want to stay at any Best Western for more than a night, but this was a great location, clean hotel, and exceptional staff! I would certainly stay here again if I was in the area.

« It doesn't get better than this! »

We recently stayed here for 1 night. Staff were friendly, efficient, & accommodating. Newer hotel that is well maintained. About 10 minutes out of kalispel. The room was of average size, was very clean & had modern furniture. The bed was super comfortable & the pillows & linens were high quality. Smaller bathroom with a sink on the outside. Large screen flat TV. Desk & chair, lounging chair. Free high speed internet. The free breakfast was one of the best we have had. Large variety. The day we were there the hot items were...sausages, diced potatoes, egg omelet, sausage/egg muffin, homemade oatmeal & waffles. Cold items included...hard boiled eggs, breads, cereals, muffins, fresh fruit, yogurt, banana bread, pastries. Although we didn't use it there was an exercise room, pool, hot tub, office centre. Across the street is a gas station that makes pizza & other meals/snacks. We will definately stay here again & would recommend it to our family & friends.

I must say this hotel has the the most welcoming staff and their service has by far exceeded our expectations. We were travelling with our infant and had more requests than the typical traveler, but the staff were always willing to make it happen. Everyone we met - front desk team, housekeeping, breakfast attendant, everyone were smiling and courteous. The room was spacious, well-designed and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was ample, lots of variety. The hotel is well located, few mins drive to Somers, Lakeside or Bigfork. There is a C-Mart and gas station just next door. Pool and hot-tub are open 24 hours. We will definitely come back. Special thanks to Josh at the front desk for giving us late check-out and suggesting us a more scenic route to take on our way back to Alberta, Canada.

    « Well Done »

Due to my plane's schedule, I got there two hours before check-in time. They found a room ready for me and checked me in. The room was well appointed and had all they said it would. The hotel is located away from the cities and a 10 to 15 minute drive is required to get to any of the business areas around the hotel. However, the drive is through one of the best looking commutes I've ever seen. Simply gorgeous area. The room was all I expected and enjoyed my stay.

« Friendly staff, fine breakfast, no surprises. »

This Best Western is located about 6 miles south of the town of Kalispell, Montana. It is right on the junction that will let you drive around Flathead lake in either direction. If you need a hotel that is right in town, this one could present a problem. But if you want a nice hotel with many amenities within a short drive this will work well. Very helpful and friendly staff as well. Recommended.

« Best Breakfast in Montana (or anywhere else for that matter) »

The BW Flathead Lake Inn is a great value with great staff. It's very, very clean with comfortable, spacious rooms. I find the location at the north end of Flathead Lake ideal for being able to go any direction, Big Fork, Whitefish, Glacier NP or Polson. But the most amazing part is the breakfast. The food and beverage manager, Vicki Lockman, makes sure there is not only the widest variety of freshly made hot and cold items which vary daily, the food is downright excellent. The homemade apple-cinnamon oatmeal is to die for. The specialty breads, muffins and cinnamon rolls are all baked onsite and many are from scratch recipes. I've traveled for business and pleasure extensively for 30 years and never encountered such an excellent offering like this let alone in beautiful Montana!

I made the reservation long distance but at the recommendation of a friend. My friend was on the mark. « BEST WESTERN FLATHEAD LAKE »

The Best Western Flathead is vastly improved from our stay there a few years ago. The hotel has been upgraded with newly furnished rooms, very comfy beds, a superb hot breakfast and Montana Traders coffee around the clock. Add in a staff who know the entire area and convenient access to Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake, surrounding small but charming towns like Big Fork, etc. and you have what my wife and I would highly recommend as the best hotel we've found in the Kalispell area in some twenty plus visits to the area.
