Best Western New Oregon

The rooms are always clean. The staff is always friendly and helpful. This is my go-to place to stay whenever I am in Eugene. The location is great too and within walking distance to the college and restaurants. A nice area to take walks on too.

The river view advertised was of a backwater slough and an active construction site. The traffic noise, noisy occupants in the room above and construction activity were terrible. The only plus was the pleasant staff.

Last month was iced out with no power so I had to stay elsewhere. This month I'm back with Best Western New Oregon and the stay was great. I have to admit I blew in late (after 10pm - and that was no problem for the staff) and out relatively early in the morning. The only "amenity" I used was the coffee maker. But they left four (4) regular coffee pods and extra condiments which was GREAT. Usually I'm scavenging for both. It's a small thing but it was really a nice surprise.

We made the trip from Redmond to Eugene for the Jon Pardi concert. We decided to stay in a hotel afterwards and immediately called best western. They were pretty full but we were able to get a long room over looking the river. Granted it wasn't much of a river but was really pretty! Everyone was so nice and helpful.

The location is perfect,It is right by the university and you can go get some food near by.The staff are very friendly,Very clean room and big.Good when you have a dog. There is park near by,so you can walk your dog.There is a fee of 20$ for the dog.i say that,because some place they do not charge for the dog plus good thing there is no carpet in the room.

Very very nice hotel great staff everything was wonderful we had a one-night stay that had breakfast in the morning the room was immaculately clean we'd love to death Steph would help with anything there was like five stars I definitely recommend this hotel if you're in Eugene.

It was a short stay but staff was helpful and friendly. Parking was tight so I could not park close to my room. The quality of sheets, towels, pillows a was excellent and I enjoyed the view of the Mill Race from the balcony.

I love the convenience of this location. It's right next to a bar and the college. We've never had a bad stay here. The breakfast area is kind of small, but, it's clean and plenty of seating area. Love the indoor pool for the wet cold visits.

Good stay on the way to Yuma, easy access, room was upgraded and breakfast had a good variety for a standard Best Western. Beds were newer with new linen so had a good night sleep. Breakfast service staff were attentive and kept up the stock well.

We received a text stating, would you like to check in early. I called and the gentleman that answered the phone laughed at me. He could have politely stated they were short staff. Roads were bad and everything was closed. We would have gladly sat somewhere else but all was closed due to weather. Then checked in after 5 pm when they said would only be another 30 minutes more after the 4 pm check in. When I asked at check in if there was a room with double beds the lady looked at her manager and the manager said it was completely booked. She lied. There was hardly anyone there.

Best Western New Oregon is a great value. Location can't be beat, near campus, wall to Autzen, near a Starbucks, various restaurants and a great market. Rooms are clean, service is great. Rooms are fine, nothing special but everything is clean and in order.

Very clean and nice room. Comfortable bed and quiet room. Hotel looked recently updated. Good breakfast spread. Great central location in Eugene. Plenty of parking right outside room. The restaurant next door is very good for dinner.

Just add some kind, courteous staff and some comfy beds! Our stay was great! I would recommend to anyone who needs to stay in the area. Location was convenient to everything and room was very nice. We felt very comfortable staying here. And the breakfast!! Amazing!

Hotel was clean, comfortable and conveniently located. I had expectations, based on the photos, that weren't met. There's no hot tub and no hot breakfast. Also, I wish that I would have saved the extra money for the water view. If I hadn't been looking for the amenities, the hotel was nice.

The facility is very nice and the staff are fantastic. The beds are comfortable, the room is big enough that we could have our suitcases open. The rooms and the entire facility are clean. I recommend this facility

The hotel staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. We were only there for a short stopover but we did use the internet and ate breakfast. There were many options for breakfast and everything I had was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Thank you for a great experience.

I had a truly wonderful experience during my stay at this location. The convenience and accessibility to UO were exceptional. Additionally, the neighboring restaurant exceeded my expectations with its delicious food.

Relatively decent, but old hotel/motel. To quote the front desk clerk, "this place is from the 50s" and it sure seemed like it! First of all, we were there for an event at Hayward Field and the price we had to pay here reflected that - they certainly got folks pretty good with inflated rates during the event which really made this a poor value. But with the ability to walk to the stadium and with easy access to Pre's Trail it is in an ideal location. On the positive side - the room was clean upon arrival and well stocked with amenities. I guess they were prepared for not having to do daily housekeeping because there were about 10 sets of towels and 10-15 bottles of shampoo!! The included breakfast was of the standard fare, but the attendants working were top notch. Please tip them - they deserve it! In fact, all of the staff we encountered were very helpful and pleasant. On the flip side - stay clear of room 173! The front desk clerk called it their "special suite" and actually had to provide directions to find this hidden room. Saying if we reached someone's house - don't go there! So yes - all of the windows faced someone's house. Right up to their door practically. The room is essentially in the basement. Walk down a long staircase to reach the room and dodge the bugs that are flying all over the place. It's a mad rush to open and close the door before all the bugs fly in. And do expect bugs in the room - mostly spiders! While everything was in working order - the room was in need of an upgrade. It was HUGE though! Two room suite with 2 beds and a sofa bed in one room and a king bed in other. Two TVs and two refrigerators. The huge size exception was the shower though. It was barely bigger than an old phone booth. And because of the location, the ceilings throughout were barely over 6 feet. So if you are tall expect to bend low to use the bathroom mirror and watch your hands when taking a shirt off!! Housekeeping is only available upon request. We saw the housekeepers working practically all day working their way around so I'm not sure if everyone requested daily service or if room 173 was the exception because of its location?! No idea how they get the cart down there. So with that said, trash accumulated, etc. The view was also a trash dump as well - pretty gross (pic attached). All-in-all it's a decent place in a great location without a ton of choices. But I would recommend steering clear of room 173!

My friends and I stayed here for a 3700 mile motorcycle trip from Colorado. We stayed at 9 hotels in this 10 day journey. This by far was the nicest of the hotels. It's modern and new. Nikki checked us in and she was wonderful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

Really a 3 star hotel but I love all of the extras like the suite like rooms, solid breakfast, pool and Sauna. Plus the location is perfect for exploring UO Campus activities - directly across the street - as well as walking/biking the River walk or strolling through Hendrick's Park. Walk to variety of Restaurants, Saturday Market, etc. etc.

There's not much to choose from in the area unless you do VRBO, so that is reflected in the price and the quality. First all, there's no elevator to the 2nd floor, which is where the rooms are located. So be prepared to lug everything. Bedding was well worn. Queen beds more like a full size than true queen. Best thing about the hotel was the cleaning staff. We were in town for a wedding and stayed several nights. They kept our room clean, and were super friendly. Definitely needs some upgrade. The carpet is well worn. Don't expect any pressure to any of the water and when we were checking out the toilet overflowed. Yikes! Like it erupted.

I stayed overnight at the Best Western New Oregon in Eugene two days ago. The room carpeting was clean enough to go barefoot without cringing (I generally bring slippers because hotel carpets usually feel kind of icky- didn't use the slippers during this stay.) The complimentary breakfast (6:30 to 9:30) was pretty good- scrambled eggs, sausage, gravy, cold cereal, pancakes, yogurt, fresh fruit, milk, orange juice, apple juice, coffee. My room was on the ground floor and road noise wasn't disruptive. The shower and bathroom area were very clean. The bed wasn't very firm or very soft. The room came with a microwave, a coffee maker, and a small refrigerator (I'm mentioning those because I recently stayed in another hotel that didn't have a microwave or coffee maker and I hadn't realized that a hotel which costs $100 a night might not have those things). Staff were all very nice. The negatives to my stay were minor- I couldn't figure out the TV remote control- first time THAT'S happened (I couldn't get the screen to go back to scrolling of channel information). The only other thing is that the room heater blew what FELT like cool air but the room did warm up after a while. Please remember to leave a cash tip for the woman who cleans your room after you leave. You could afford the hotel room, and the extra $5 won't break your budget.

Close enough to walk to various campus bldgs. Staff helpful in pointing out how to get where. Easy internet access. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty and staff kept everything filled up and were ready to assist patrons.

Excellent place to stay when visiting U of Oregon! Easy access on Franklin Blvd. Friendly staff, fast and efficient check in/out, clean and quality accommodations reasonably priced. Variety of good restaurants within walking distance.

Great value during very full weekend. Best breakfast I've had fir this style. The location was close to where I needed to be for a volleyball tournament. I would definitely stay here again. Again, this buffet breakfast was fresh and good.

We have stayed at motels before but this was a terrible experience. They would not clean the room even though they have "cleaning standards" highlighted on their website. We had to take the towels to the front desk if we wanted fresh ones, they would not empty the garbages (we were in town for 4 days), the room had cockroaches (so it's obviously not clean) and the "water view" they sell on the website is a ditch. Do not stay here. The rooms are full of bugs (a friend room had ants) and very dirty. Not to mention the increased the rate from $123 to $282 (that should be illegal) because of a sporting even that was happening. Terrible!

The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were super friendly and accommodating and I loved that the breakfast had a variety of items to choose from for someone who doesn't eat many carbs.

Title says it all. Oh and the room wasn't made up during the first day. Location is great if you are visiting the University but no hot water is a bit of a deal breaker. TV remote also did not work. Turns out it was a Roku tv and I made it go using the Roku app.

Very pet-friendly, clean hotel with a nice full breakfast. But if you watch TV during your stay the controller system is awful. You have to scroll through every channel to get to the one you want and the TV turns on and off all on its own.

We attended a concert at Knight arena and the location was great. A 5 minute walk so really convenient to campus. The rooms are like an old style motel with parking right outside the room. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet despite the parking lot being full. Bathroom was very small. Room was clean.

The staff wasn't friendly at check-in, they acted like we were interrupting whatever it was they were doing before we got there. The room had a hard, cold floor and no rugs. Just kind of sub-standard. If I was in Eugene again, I would not stay here.

This hotel/motel is just outside the U or Oregon main campus. My daughter and I came to show my granddaughter what a college campus looked like. We spent time on the campus grounds and in some buildings. It was great to have our lodging across the street with plenty of rooms. We spent one night. The rooms are well appointed but crammed pretty tightly in the space of the units...at least the unit my daughter and I slept in.

Quality hotel with excellent stay. Must stay if in Eugene area. Busy area with UO campus but walking to bus stop and many restaurants and coffee shops. Only thing is hotel spilt into two sides and parking an svu was tight. Managed though.

Nice staff and a good breakfast but this place is a pit. It's an old stinky motel across from Autzen stadium. I had to turn sideways to get through the bathroom door. 6' 3" 235. I can't figure out how they do this ..... but the shower hot water suddenly turn to cold before you're done. Yet the sink hot water was still on. Things that make you go hmmmm. Stay somewhere else unless you need to walk across the street to Autzen. Pick a hotel in the Gateway area. Lots to choose from.

Not clean. Door didn't lock properly. Huge gap around door. Manager offered to refund room but the card on file was recharged and now no one will return calls. Very dirty, lots of smoking. A small crowbar would easily break open the door.

Came to Oregon to visit family with my son for his birthday we enjoyed the pool sauna work out room and got to have my dog :)we enjoyed getting up and going to breakfast had eggs sausagesand juices pancakes and were able to take a few snacks back to the room I was centrally located to see family and friends

We walked about 2 minutes to the student center for a tour of the University of Oregon. Then we also walked to the stadium, which is a beautiful walk over a bridge. Breakfast was ok, it's food. Bedrooms are old, but clean. The accent chair had a stain, so we placed a towel over it and just didn't sit there.

Best Western Eugene.... under construction... should not have rented this room: Bed was so high could not sit on it. Smelly and ventilation was not adequate...noisy and smelly. Really an inadequate space. My friend and I are tiny... and the room was not suitable.

Wow. This property has changed drastically-and, not for the good. We had called after booking to let them know we'd be arriving early. We arrived and I didn't see anyone at the desk. So, I waited. Then, I noticed the clerk quietly sitting behind her computer screen ignoring me. I told her we were checking in and she quickly said I couldn't check in until after four. I'm one of their top rewards member and have never had a problem with checking in upon arrival. Worst of all, she wasn't very friendly. We left and came back after four. When we finally got in our room, there were about twelve squares of toilet paper and no back up roll. I called the girl at the front desk and was informed that we couldn't have housekeeping service. I was shocked. She said if I wanted some, I'd have to come to the front desk. She refused to have anyone bring some to us. Unbelievable! Don't count on a hot breakfast. I went to the breakfast room twice and they were out of everything except scrambled eggs that were burnt on the bottom-no one was touching them. I had had enough and found the two girls who were supposed to be "working" leaning against the wall talking to each other. I asked about refills and one sniped over her shoulder that they were "working on it". She laughed and kept talking to her friend. This property needs to be taught how to do their job and how to treat their guests.

The hotel policy is to not clean rooms if your stay is 3 nights or less. They do not tell you at time of booking, nor at time of check in. Rooms are also not discounted for this non-existent service. If you want new towels, you must bring to front desk and exchange. Room prices also fluctuate and for some days, extremely high and very low value.

We had the heater turned all the way up. It didn't run. Woke up early with cold feet so I couldn't sleep. Went to breakfast there was no decaf. Also out of decaf in the lobby and none to brew in the room. Front desk wouldn't answer. I expect more for what we paid.

The rooms and bedding were clean, but the room had odor in the room. Check-in staff was very rude and rooms were not ready at check-in time. In fairness, the hotel was at capacity due to a game and a nearby forest fire. We also did not get the type rooms that were reserved. The breakfast was great. Nice variety and plenty of food and beverages.

My daughter and I were scheduled to stay Sept 2nd & 3rd. We left after only 1 night. (1) The shower head did not work; disassembled when we attempted to repair it. We were unable to take a bath because the tub drain could not be closed. Ended up taking a Sink bath. (2) The room was dirty. Wiping down the sink area, upholstered furniture and Floor lamp base resulted in a blackened washcloth. The table lamps had cobwebs. (3) When I brought the washcloth, cobwebs & needed Shower/Bath repairs to the attention of the Front Desk staff I was told they'd tell Housekeeping and Maintenance the next day. They shrugged off my request for them to least attempt repair and cleaning that same evening. I was offered a new room for the 2nd night. I inspected it - just as dirty but at least the shower/tub worked. (Result) We cancelled our 2nd night and left Eugene immediately after completing our business without participating in any planned tourist activity. My daughter regularly stays at BW. She assured me Eugene did not reflect past experiences. But she questions whether she'll continues using BW in the future. I rarely use hotels/motels - now I know why.

My room was without a blow dryer. Since I am on a motorcycle there is not any room to pack one and I rely upon the hotel to have this amenity. Called to the front desk they said they would bring one over. They then called back while I was in the shower and said they could not give me one. I went to the front desk to explain my situation and they said there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak to a manager, talked to Niki Miears, she said there was nothing they could do. I asked her to go to another room and get me a dryer, she said they were booked and there was nothing they could do. I explained to her my situation of being on the motorcycle and she didn't seem to care. I again said there had to be people who have not checked in yet and to get me a dryer from one of those rooms. She again said she could not. I told her I was going to make a complaint to corporate and her response was "that's fine". Then what really got me was she dismissed me, she said "I'm done talking about this" and she walked away. I then had to go meet friends for dinner with a wet head of hair. When you have a guest that is this upset managers should have much better customer service skills. I will not stay here again due to Niki Miears. Also, the room had uneven, when you walked in the floor slanted, when I sat on the desk chair it rolled down the slant.

This was from 4 years ago. I don't know why Tripadvisor thought I wanted to delete it. We were there to visit UofO. It is right across the street from the college and it's a Best Western. The room was a little dated and the bed was a little dented. But it overlooked the waterway behind and that was nice. Their breakfast was better than some and not as good as other Best Westerns so we decided to go elsewhere. It was adequate. I'd stay there again for a one nighter if I needed to.

Clean, quiet rooms, some with a "water view" over the small creek at the back of the property. This hotel is within easy walking distance of the campus, as well as miles of well-maintained walking trails and park areas along the river.

We were passing through so stayed one night. Room was well-appointed and comfortable. It was 94 degrees with high humidity but the room had great temperature control. Great location - across the street from the University of Oregon and our favorite Mexican restaurant just about anywhere: Chula's.

We were visiting Eugene to scope moving to the area and we had our elderly dog with us. I loved that the hotel was pet-friendly, offered treats, dog poop bags, and water bowls around the hotel. For us humans, we were excited about the proximity to campus and downtown—and the pool, sauna, steam room, and hot tub. However we could only find the pool, I have no idea if they actually have these other amenities. My only complaint really. Go to breakfast early to get all the fixings. The rooms were very clean and cozy for all of us. The staff was personable and helpful. And I felt safe in the location—a very good hotel to stay at! Plus there's a beautiful mural out front!

Right near U of Oregon and very lovely location near amenities. Room large and gracious. I like that you can bring the car up to your room door. All first floor. Breakfast was diverse and generous. I am only giving 4 for the sleep quality (maybe 4.5!) because compressor on older AC is a bit loud! Also, in Queen Bed room (maybe King is different), frig is very tiny. But it's a great bargain for a downtown hotel and I love the place. Just wanted to highlight the two very small issues, to be fair!

we rented the family suite, which had two queen beds in the main room and a king bed in a side room. the room was clean and the beds were great. the only challenge was where the room was located and that we had to park away from it. also, they provided a decent breakfast. it was a step up from a continental breakfast and they used real eggs instead of powder eggs and they tasted great. they also had a lot of other selections. highly recommend

Family and I made a stop from a roadtrip here. We were pleasantly surprised. What a find! Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Friendly, helpful staff. Pool and sauna were great. Breakfast was good. Check out time was reasonable. We felt it was a good value. I will definitely be staying with them again!

We had a two queen room and it was tight. The furniture seems too big for the little room, the layout is odd. The bathroom was so small, so was the sink. It really didn't feel like other Best Western Plus's we've stayed at. They appear to be working on aesthetic upgrades but honestly, the outside is fine, it's just the room furniture and layout that was the biggest problem. Very nice at the front desk though. Thanks

Unhappy that after leaving at 6:30 am with “clean room” tag out and returning at 4:30 room not clean. Sweaty after a ball tournament I asked the maid for at least towels and although she had towels on her cart, she made me go to the front desk where they were not interested in me reporting the room had not been serviced. Used yesterday's towels the next day when the same thing happened.

We are on a family road trip and have stayed at this BW location before. However, this time we requested a family suite and it did not disappoint!! So comfortable and spacious for a family of 6- one being a toddler!

This hotel is a great place to stay in Eugene with its close proximity to campus and sporting venues (walking distance). The rooms have everything you need, there is plenty of parking, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel also offers a good breakfast selection.

The only reason I gave it 1 star is because zero stars wasn't an option. Here for 2 nights for UO graduation. I was waiting for our room to be made up. At 4:30 it wasn't done. Went to the front desk and was told they don't do room make ups. If you need new towels you need to go to the front desk and get them yourself. I'm 7 decades old and traveled the world for business and pleasure. NEVER have I experienced this. BTW it's costing me $250 per night!!!!!!!!

Boutique hotel prices with zero distinguishing characteristics or amenities. These folks have a captive audience on certain college weekends and work it to their advantage. We awoke to dogs barking in the room next door at 6 am. The floors are vinyl without carpeting or rugs. The walls are thin. The fluorescent lights are harsh. The AC units are either off entirely or roaring. Breakfast aspires to truck stop mediocrity. Pricing is somewhat deceptive (note it is sometimes by person and not by the room). Someone was laughing after our night at this Best Western, and it wasn't us. This place is a ripoff.

Stayed 3 days and no room service. I asked for room service but was told they had staffing issues. One day they also ran out of towels I think someone should have come in for room service at least once or twice but was told they were very short staffed. Maybe they should put a sign up that they don't offers room service at all.

We were a little leery when we pulled up, but the reviews were spot on. The property is a little dated and in a motel format, but they are actively updating the rooms and exterior. The room was clean and spacious, the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was probably the best of its type with some refreshingly unique items- oat milk, Nutella packets as well as jam, breakfast potatoes plus salsa and cheese for topping the omelets. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again when we're in the area.

The employees were all very helpful and kind, room felt a little outdated and dark inside (with all the lights on). I loved how close it was to Hayward field, and walking distance to everything, especially starbucks.

Paid almost as much a someones rent the night we checked in...$300..seriously for one night?omg ....freaking ridiculous. All because the school was having stuff going on with sports and what not....we weren't there for that...so WTF! Had me eating outta the garbage the next day xuz I was almost broke

The hotel was in a great location. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was well maintained and quiet even with the close proximity to the university. The hotel is also dog friendly which we were happy about since we had our pet.

Great location. Eateries within walking distance. Close to I-5/I-205. Centrally located without being downtown. Across the street from the University of Oregon. I recommend staying at the BW New Oregon both for family, business, couples, etc.

We travel with a dog, so finding pet accommodations matters, but at the same time I want quality lodging and will pay a little more to get it. Good shower head and pressure, comfy bed, good breakfast, and thankfully GPS works well here.

Good location of property across street from University of Oregon. Convenient location near many shops, stores and restaurants within walking distance. Check in fast and easy, parking can be a challenge on some evenings due to lots of guests. Rooms shad dated furniture and carpets did not appear clean to us. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. We were here on the weekend and there was a lot of outside noises. A lot of traffic in parking lots as well as highway, and, partying, etc upstairs and on outside of property. Our only remedy was to use the room fan to drown out as much of it as was possible. TV and all room amenities worked as advertised. Breakfast area was too small for the number of guests staying at this property. Not enough seating, food items ran out and rarely replaced, garbage cans overflowing, and only one poor female attendant to try and oversee the entire facility for four hours and try and make it work. Needs attention. Lastly, not sure we would stay here again on a revisit...too many other hotel choices in this University town for the price of this hotel and what you get. All things considered, I doubt we would stay here on a return visit

Perfect spot if attending an event at the Matthew Knight Arena. Great room on the River with a balcony, ducks and Canada Geese. Super, large smart TV. Friendly helpful staff. Really clean. All good. Reasonable price. Good breakfast

Our plumbing went out and our newborn was one week old. We booked two nights at the best western while the plumbers came to work on our bathroom so we drove 25 miles and called to check in early. When we called they told us they did not have a reservation for us and they would not let us stay there because my husbands address on file was our previous address that was a local address. They asked if we had receipts for the plumbing, however we did not because they had not come to work on it yet but were that day. My husband, who is a diamond member explained to them our plumbing issue and us having newborn needing a place with a working tub and toilet they still said we could not stay after we had already booked with reward points. My husband asked to speak to a manager and the receptionist said that we could not speak to the manager and that whatever we would say to the manager she would ask them. I was so unhappy and upset. Its infuriating they even let us book there if our address is an issue. We have never had this issue with any other hotels and we are also diamond members for Hiltons. We did not have a reservation for the Hilton, however we called and were able to drive directly there and check in early.

Would have louved if they had their hot tub still but they don't. Staff were polite. Rooms are a bit dated and a renovation would be nice. Mainly just needed a place to dry since work ended pretty late. Overall we had just an ok/average stay. :) .

New carpets and quiet air conditioning are really appreciated. Eugene is a very damp and stinky place so I was totally delighted to check in to a nice fresh smelling room that had no Ozium aroma. The breakfast was very tasty with a much better quality of food than the competition. The wireless internet actually worked as it should with no big hassle of logging in. This hotel has improved greatly since last year. Good Job!

Well.....if comedy could be explained in a few words, it would be Best Western New Oregon in Eugene! We purposefully were looking for a nicer place to stay in Eugene earlier this month, while visiting some friends and wanting to stay overnight. So we splurged, especially after seeing the photos of the hot tub, sauna, and there was even a steam room listed under amenities. We had booked via AlaskaAirlines.com to earn miles, even if we could have received a slightly lower rate elsewhere. Imagine how it looked as I walked around the pool area in my bathing suit looking for the hot tub only to be told by another guest they had removed it.....and went on to explain that's why they booked as well since they had kids. Looking in the corner, we both laughed at the cemented area where the hot tub used to be! Hilarious! I asked about the steam room and he shook his head, same about the sauna. Funny, there's even a sign stating the jacuzzi hours outside the door! So it turns out..........not only do they not have and never have had a steam room..........the hot tub was removed some time ago. Asking the front desk, she explained that it 'hadn't been taken care of so they removed it', they just forgot apparently to update any of their advertising for the hotel and their rooms. As if this wasn't funny enough, I asked about the sauna. No sign on the property whatsoever for it. Turns out they weren't lying however, they do have one for men and women.......in the men and women's restroom. A tiny 1 wooden bench mixed in with the toilets.....nice! Epic cleanliness to be sure, and no wonder there wasn't a sign. The room was just okay..........but old carpeting that was bunching up. A little worn overall, but that's fair, especially with 2 years of Covid and no guests. You cannot expect an expensive overhaul. All the more reason to offer the best service possible. You can expect a hot tub though and other amenities they advertise. Please understand we certainly believe in paying good money for a good room and thought we were getting what was shown and listed for the hotel amenities. It was the entire reason we wanted to stay there. A guest shouldn't have to call to confirm that something like a hot tub physically exists! Unfortunately, the comedy show didn't end there. The reception staff, while polite and doing their best, explained that no refund could be offered because we had booked on a third party website! Well considering the majority of customers book on any number of 3rd party sites, Hotel.com, Trip Advisor, Kayak, etc., you can see where their commitment to service seems to reveal itself. For our part, we contacted Alaska who did their best, but were told because we had already stayed there and the booking was complete there was no refund offered from the hotel owner. If that doesn't deserve a standing ovation for an encore I don't know what does. Imagine actually having to stay there and "complete the booking" before knowing half the amenities offered don't exist! Excuse after excuse. We would have gladly accepted a 50% refund and an apology. Suffice to say, we obviously cannot recommend staying here ever again and the next time we visit our friends, we'll certainly choose one of many other properties around Eugene. We'll just call first to see if they have doors and windows installed just in case! Lol!

Stayed one night on a road trip. Located close to U of O and along a walking path. Staff friendly and informative. Facility being updated so bannisters scraped but not yet painted and mattresses piled in parking lot. Bed was comfortable, room clean, and towels plentiful. Close to decent places to eat while traveling.

We spent 2 nights here….would have left after 1st night but had a family member in hospice and just didn't have time to relocate. We will look else where next time we are in the area.

Friendly staff, ammenities are wonderful. Good Breakfast choices, comfortable bed, clean, and comfortable. Late check out was a great choice for us. This is my regular choice when staying in Eugene. I will definately be back again.

The room was 'tilted' at both ends; bathroom was crowded with a small sink (not much counter space), toilet and shower all in the same room. Room seemed to be 'tired' and in need of work.Bed was comfortable. Decent breakfast choices. Ian at the front desk was very helpful and he raised my rating from a 2 to a 3 star.

Great location if you are visiting University of Oregon. Walk right across the street to Matt Knight Arena. The room was clean and quiet, but the rate was more than I'd expect for a basic room. $234/nite (before tax) after the membership discount

First impressions: Cosmetically, needs a refresh. This place is old and tired. I can see they are preparing to do external painting (there was primer and test swatches around). I arrived at 4pm, the stated check-in time. There was a short line, and while I waited I could overhear the guest in front of me being told her room wasn't ready. I'm already preparing for a bad experience, having just come off an 8-hour drive. When my turn came, I was also told my room wasn't ready but with a bit of shuffling, which I appreciated, a comparable room was found which was ready. I got keys and off I went. The layout of this place is like a double horse-shoe, so I drove around and to the far end where my room was. Up the stairs with my bags... insert the key - and surprise, it isn't working. Key #2 also not working. Call the front desk and placed on hold with "we're helping another guest right now...please hold" - so down stairs, walking across the parking lot to the office, this time with bags in tow. I walk in, explain the key issue to a response of "that's weird, let me remake them for you. This time, don't put them near your phone" - as if it was my fault. For the record, the first set wasn't near my phone either. Back to the room - this time the key worked. Room is mostly clean (save for the cobwebs and dust bunnies behind the main door to the room, an easily overlooked area). Bathroom is clean and stocked. Bedding is clean. The general condition of the room is tired, old, and needing a bit of maintenance. For instance, there are exposed mountings in the ceiling where there clearly used to be a closet door track for a sliding door. The closet is now exposed with no door. Patch and paint the holes for a higher score. The main door had fairly large gaps around its frame - light streams through these gaps. So do bugs, I'm sure, in the summer. Add weather stripping and seal this up, for a higher score. The HVAC is supplied by a wall unit, with a nonspecific "hotter/colder" thermostat. I stayed 2 nights and could not regulate the heat. It was either off, or too hot. Add a wall thermostat with degree settings for a higher score. Bathroom - as mentioned, clean and well-stocked. Water pressure in the shower was sufficient, though oscillations of hot/cold did occur as other guests' water use varied. Overall, the Best Western isn't 'new' - it's old, it shows its age in places, and its staff could use some customer service lessons. It was below my expectations, and the next time I am in Eugene I'll look elsewhere with my $225 per night budget. I should have gotten more for this money.

The young girl that was there when I checked in was awesome, very nice and helpful and informative. However the older lady that was there when i stopped in to ask a question was a grump, she didn't even stand up to greet me when I walked in she was hidden behind the computers I almost didn't see her there. I walked out after she literally gave me a 1 word answer. The direction of flow in the breakfast area was tight and cramped and too many people in 1 room. The staff was plentiful but the food area should have been in the smaller room and the seating area should be in the bigger room. Also there was no waffles they only had pancakes and even that they were more like mini pancakes. It seemed they rigged the machine to compensate for perhaps being low on batter. The first day the pancakes were normal size. Also maybe they should get a 2nd pancake machine because that is what caused the line to back up. The positives of this place is that its right across the street from my daughter and her school and the balcony with the creek and ducks that were fun to feed and watch. The only down fall is the bathroom door and walls of the room are super old. It gives an old dark dingy feeling but a little updating paint and new bathroom door will do the trick everything else is fine. I would stay here again because the price and location is good.

Room was dirty and uncomfortable. Very expensive for the quality received. Musty smelling. Blankets smelled like cigarettes; garbage from the previous guest in trash can. I left my shoes on throughout the stay. Looks like they are trying to renovate - but for $230 definitely not worth it.

Bathroom door wouldn't shut correctly, the hinges were falling off and incorrect screws were used. Not a good value for the money. This was a poor representation of best western hotels. I wouldn't value this room at $200, maybe $100

Rooms are nothing like on the website. The only ADA compliance was grab bars near the toilet and in the bathtub. The sink area was not accessible for a person using a wheelchair. Very narrow passage between the bed and dresser. First room had nasty carpeting so we asked for another room, second room had laminate flooring.

The place was pretty standard for the age. Clean and every thing worked. My room stunk so asked to check another. It smelled just as bad. After checking the third room and finding it smelled just as bad, I just accepted that all the rooms smelled equally as bad. IT was really strange.

Brought my son for a on campus tour of U or O. Stayed here for 2 nights. Perfection! We literally walked across the street to campus, down the beautiful path and across the river bridge to see the stadium. Right next to good restaurants. Walked across the street to the arena for the basketball game. Parking included! Close to downtown. Easy to get to and stay at. We'll definitely be back!

Musty smell to the room when first walk in. Nothing a little deodorizer couldn't solve. That should be a standard procedure after cleaning the rooms. The first impression is what I remember and probably others too.

I've stayed at this hotel since childhood. Now, as an adult, I can take my daughter here to play in the same swimming pool. This visit we were able to stay in a room that has been recently renovated and still smelled of new carpet. It was pretty nice, and had a deck overlooking the waterway so my daughter could feed the ducks from the balcony. This room was nice and the only room complaint was a rocking toilet. In general, the rooms in this hotel are not always as up to date as some Best Westerns. While the pool area is nice, the hot tub is in need of some updates as the jets are nearly useless.

Perfect spot for anyone wanting to be close to U of O for on campus activities or sporting events. The king balcony room is fantastic! Very spacious, could use some updating but would definitely recommend!

This might be the worst best Western I have stayed at. Room was drafty and smelled like mildew. The shower took 20 minutes to heat up to an acceptable temperature. Chairs in the room had stains on them.

I was visiting from CA and I absolutely will stay at this hotel again! It was clean! Staff was amazing and extremely helpful!! We arrived early and Ian was just great!! He made check in fantastic and easy especially after driving 12.5hrs! McKayla who extended my stay was also fantastic! The room view was cute! We were right next to the little canal behind the park! I was worried about parking but parking was fantastic it felt safe and easy to get into we were able to park in front of our room easy access. Good restaurants around the hotel.

They get a 10 service was great rooms were nice, liked Jessi, Mckayla and Audi they made my trip. I will stay there again and again. Not sure what else to say oh and loved the pool and hot tub and the hrs they were open. I would like breakfast till 11 for us late sleepers lol.

Great Hotel nearby the university. Easy access to all parts of Eugene. Great price for a lovely room. It was quiet and warm on a cold windy winter day. Hot breakfast with many options to suit every diet. Will definitely stay here again.

Being as we are in the middle of a pandemic you would expect a room that is clean. I found grapes and other dirt debris on our floor. Our desk has crumbs around the light and phone. Cleanliness was lacking.

We live in Lane County and made a reservation on a night we wanted to spend out of the house with work going on and were not allowed to stay here because we live in this County?!? Made reservation days in advance. Apparently this flagship doesn't want my $260 for a room and I won't be continuing my Elite status…

Stayed as we traveled to see family for the holidays. Great location, friendly staff and great to see the continental breakfast back up and going for the guests. they did a wonderful job keeping everything fresh and clean.

Only positive about this “ motel” is that the room was clean and the only renovated.part was the lobby building. Everything else was dated and the room itself had no carpet and was built on a slant with uneven floor that led to a little bathroom. Felt like you were walking on a gang plank. The place needs to be torn down and rebuilt as a single structure . It's across the street from the U of O and it needs to be a better experience for the price. Will not be staying there again. The staff was fine . This was a former motel from the 80s and it looks it.

Room appeared neat, clean, updated...and then we tried to take a shower. Tepid to cool water only. Asked front desk who claimed no one else had complained, no offer to fix. Next morning, water temp vacillated between hot and tepid; new front desk personnel stated they had had complaints from most of the rooms on that side (107). No attempt to compensate for not meeting this very basic expectation of hot water for bathing. Then I noticed a spray of black substance on the bathroom ceiling...source unknown; mold? The breakfast was great, an egg white/cheese frittata.

Average stay nothing spectacular, would not consider this a 3star hotel, it's a motel, defiantly not the same experience as staying at other best westerns. The location is ok, it's a right across from the university and downtown area.

The front desk was polite and efficient. Excellent location for our needs. The room was very dated and worn but seemed clean. The wifi was so poor that it was unusable. The tv was 55 inches, but we never watched it. you need a roku account to watch it. Really? That was a new one on me. I thought it was a glitch, but the front desk confirmed it. Our keys worked about half the time so we made a lot of trips to the front desk for new keys.

Mattress is trash. It's has sag and will break your back. I say it's not even as good as Motel 6. Very expensive for the money. Gym is filthy and has very few equipment. The only treadmill they have is always malfunctions and the card never works more than a day. Never staying here

Some of the buildings that comprise this property are more modern and some parts are decrepit relics from a different century. I stayed here for 2 nights last week and no complaints. I returned for 1 night and they put me in a different section which is a total dump. Poor wifi as well. They claim they can't switch my room because I booked through a third party. So if you're wondering why it's all good or bad reviews here that's why.

I booked a one night stay for myself and 3 of my family members. I specifically indicated that I needed a ADA friendly room for my injured mother. Lower level, bathroom with bars and low lip shower or roll in shower. I was told that all can be accommodated. When I arrived this was the not the case at all. I was told there was non available. The goal at the front put us in a room she thought was best. It was absolutely horrible. The room was such a tight fit that my mom was barely able to get through. The bathroom angle was difficult to maneuver through. The toilet was so low that it was extremely difficult for my injured elderly mother to get up and down from. I spent way too much money for this shotty room in the aspect that I thought and was told my needs were going to be accommodated. I would have honestly paid $200 at the Holiday inn down the road than give it to this place again. Oh and the room was not the cleanest eaither. There was cheeto chip residue on one of the pillow cases and we were given already used shampoos and conditioners among some other things. After my long drive with my family to attend a memorial this was all what I didn't want to experience. The pool area and gym are not as clean as it should be. You would think covid precautions would be too priority, they are not. The continental breakfast is a good try but not fresh like it should be. Seriously save your time and go elsewhere. Or only book here if it's less than $100. This place seriously put a huge damper on our drip and made things much more difficult than they should have been.

Wonderful staff customer service-Water pressure was poor and random cold and hot fluctuations with shower, lack of cleanliness in room, dust, splatter on doors and wall near toilets. Weird splatter on head board, top slide lock broken, 4:30 AM smoke detector battery went off, and was told that happens at least 3 times a week. Corners of room on carpet actually grey from dust build up.

We needed to sleep, but it turned out this was the late-night party hotel. People partied outside our room until 4 a.m. the desk clerk did nothing. We ended up calling the police. It was a disaster. It was a bad sign from the beginning. People were drinking in the parking lot when we arrived at 6 p.m. and the parking lot was overflowing. The front desk staff was unhelpful. Do no stay at this hotel unless you don't want to sleep.

I have stayed at many Best Westerns throughout the years, and unfortunately this one rates below my expectations. We were staying in Oregon because of a funeral and this was the best location. The rooms are really, really dirty. My phone fell behind the nightstand and when I went to retrieve it, I found old garage that was not picked up from previous guests. The carpets are in desperate need of cleaning and the mattresses sag so bad, you roll to the middle. When I addressed my concerns, a quick apology and nothing done. I took pictures and cleaned the space myself. No excuse.

We were placed in an animal-friendly room 3 nights. Stank. Internet connection was spotty at best. Good luck finding towels. I realize that the pandemic is tough, but this establishment is not even trying. Recommend avoiding if at all possible.

I was disappointed by the experience at checkin. I asked about getting a room on the second floor and was told I could y make any changes as I had made my reservation through a third party. I hadn't. I made the reservation on their site. I asked what I could have done differently. They conferred and then ignored my question (that they clearly heard). I was given my form to initial and sign and handed my key. The room was next to the entrance and right by the vending machines and ice. It was noisy all night. I regret using all my points on that room.

This hotel appears to be a renovated property from the 1960s -- one story, cars park outside the rooms, exterior entrances. However, it was anything but ordinary. We reserved one queen bed and were given a room with 2 queens. The decor was nice, amenities in the room were good, and the breakfast was well above what was expected. The only issue was a non-working TV, and we were compensated for that. We'd go again to this property.

Was very disappointed in the way check in was handled and the lack of helping a customer find there room location. Worst front desk I've dealt with and we stay at best westerns all the time for trips.

After a long drive I stepped out on the small patio, overlong a rive with a park across from me. The best was to relax and settle in. The room was spacious and clean. This is my go to spot now for when I stay in Eugene, Great location, with plenty to se and do close by.

This hotel met expectations of a Best Western, but the staff exceeded expectations being friendly and patient with many guests (me included) trying to check in early on Game day. Room was ready at 4 on the dot and while the lighting was minimal, the light from the slider made up for that. The creekside view was very nice, and just a few steps away from the path leading to Autzen stadium. Mattresses were about ready for retirement but very servicable.

From the outside we were a bit concerned as it looks like an old motel. The room was very clean, walls all appear freshly painted. Had a mini fridge, and large tv. The mattress was a bit firm, but I would prefer this over something worn or saggy.

We were in town to move our son into an apartment for his second year at U of O. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It was definitely a busy week as the hotel was booked full. Nice clean room, good a/c, a microwave and small fridge. The breakfast was satisfying to get us started for the day with items individually packed like bread for toast, bagels, english muffins, cereal, eggos and french toast. There was also and automatic pancake machine, but was only in use 1 day out of the 4 we were there. Wifi was good. Indoor pool and jacuzzi was nice. No maid service. I think they were shorthanded. For some, it would be a big deal, but it was okay with us. we just went to the front desk to pick up any supplies we needed: toilet paper, kleenex and towels. also makes you conscious of picking up after yourself after the first day knowing that you'll come back to how you left it. Location is great as it is right across the street for U of O. We'd stay here again.

The room had the worst smell and the carpet was dirty. No help at as lol for the price. I will not be returning to the total. Considering the events in the area, there was no accommodations as far as changing rules or switching out.

We had wanted to stay at this property for a while but haven't had the chance until now. Located directly across from the University of Oregon main campus (near Matthew Knight arena and just a short 1 mile walk to Autzen Stadium (Go Ducks)) this was a great place to stay. We had an upstair, mill race view room. There were fish in the millrace and ducks that would swim by (especialy if you feed them!). The room was comfortable and very clean, breakfast was a little light due to covid, but otherwise a great property, quiet (although students hadn't returned yet to campus). Close to 'Track Town pizza- must try if your in town (or after the game).

Totally inflexible on reservation change with advance notice. Needed to cancel third night, let them know on arrival and they made me eat the cost, which was over $200! Room keys stopped working repeatedly, they're using very old tech. This place offers convenience but that's about it.

Stayed one night while moving my daughter into her apartment at UO. Excellent location, great price. Room was clean, but had a musty odor…like wet dog. Shower temperature never got above lukewarm. Other than that, it was a fine place to lay my head down for a night.

There was blood and blood spatters behind the fixtures in the bathroom. In a world of Covid, this was a little concerning. I took a picture and would be happy to share it. This increased my concern for the cleanliness of the entire rooom…

The picture of the room size was deceivingly exaggerated. Overpriced for $200/night The room had an odd odor. We almost asked front desk for a new room, but we were too tired after a long day on the road. I slept poorly worried about our moving belongings left in the car would be stolen as the hotel had signs posted not to back the car in. Great location across from Univ of Oregon and restaurant next door with amazing margaritas!!

The employees there are awesome and very friendly. But the hotel itself needs help. Our tub didn't drain and we were on the bottom floor. There was also a very strong chemical smell that stayed with us our entire stay there. Even after having the front door open for a few hours to air out.

I've stayed at BW in Eugene twice now and both times it was a positive experience. The bed was comfortable, all the rooms are on the first floor, there was plenty of parking. there were black out blinds, the housekeepers didn't wake me, the front desk staff were accommodating, and the hotel was close to a restaurant that had outdoor seating. My only disappointment for $145 for the night, was the tiny shower, like one you might find at a Motel 6. I am not a large person but I could barely turn around in it.

We arrived late and did not get to do much outside of our very comfortable room. The executive suite had plenty of space and an extremely comfortable bed. The balcony overlooking the creek was a pleasant place to enjoy breakfast and watch the ducks swim by. We were taken aback by the lack of bed spread and shower curtain but realized that the linens that were provided were sufficient and we did not need the shower curtain due to the size of the tub. Look forward to staying again and trying the pool.

The front of the building is nice and well kept. However the rooms are dilapidated. Pros: the a/c works, walking distance to the amphitheater, and the staff are lovely. Cons: it's advertised as a hotel… but you drive up to your rooms door, the walls are thin, there isn't any water pressure, and literally everything else.

check in took forever. then we got r room. walked in and someone had used the bathroom and seat up and not flushed. we asked for a new room ! the sliding glass door opens to balcony of sorts with a creek and ducks right outside. that was nice. the pool was very large and indoors and equipped. The tv however turned on and volume worked but changing channels wasnt happening. we gave up . the entry door was falling off of the hinges quick fix but not taken care of. very busy place . the breakfast was a microwaveable frozen breakfast sandwich and one side we didnt eat thinking i might not return again beds were not great

I hope we caught them on a bad day because the check-in service was absurdly bad. We arrived at 4:30, 30 minutes after check-in starts. Our room was not ready. Two groups of people in the reception area had been waiting for a room since 2:00. A line to check in formed and went out the front door. Every time someone got to the front of the line, there was a long conversation that resulted in the party being told their room was not available. Repeat over and over for every party. Why not quickly take names and room type from the people in line and make a list, then go down the list as rooms become available instead of repeating the same long conversation with everyone? At least then, people can get dinner or at least sit down instead of standing in line for 45 minutes. We ended up waiting an hour for our room. We watched as a man finally got to the front of the line and the front desk clerk gave him a room that was the same type we reserved even though we had been waiting for nearly an hour at that point. We were standing close enough to the desk to hear what type of room he reserved so it's not like she could have forgotten we were waiting. We ended up getting a 25% discount that night. So did everybody else. Additionally, the front desk clerk kept going on and on about being short staffed in housekeeping because they couldn't find anyone to hire and no one wanted to work. Not only is this unprofessional to talk about in front of guests, it is also wrong information. No one wants to work... for the wages you are paying. It means you are no longer offering competitive compensation. Do better, Best Western. FYI- the room itself was fine.

This hotel should not be open to the public until all maintenance is complete. Room is not fully cleaned and have, bugs and cobwebs. Internet was out the second night of a 5 night stay and have not been back on. They were changing service (I was supposed to be working and depended on internet connection). No breakfast, however they provide coffee at the front desk. I really don't want to blame the staff but during the height of COVID would have been the ideal time to get maintenance done. Last on this at 10:48p one night maintenance tried accessing my room (this was crazy, I thought we were going to be robbed). It still bothers me that they had access to an occupied room (My daughter and I was fully assleap) This all falls on management.

This was the last hotel on our eight day road trip and to be honest I feel bad for their staff. They are short staffed and doing the best they can, but you can see the impact it's having. Rooms weren't ready for guests at almost 5pm. Do not bother with breakfast, this is not because of covid it's because their management isn't prioritizing it or staffing (this is just my impression). The rooms are absurdly small, you cannot walk past each other without bumping into one another or the furniture. It smells like an old motel despite their best efforts. Everything in these rooms needs updated. The bright white light bulbs do not help to make it appear more bright. The AC units are equivalent to window units which do nothing when it comes to proper cooling. Management, do better. Make it a place staff want to be and your staff will make it a place people want to come. They can't do that with a lack of resources.

We had to bale. The room (207) had a horrendous smell of old smoke and wet dog. It was dark and bleak, but the smell made us both literally sick to our stomachs. My husband's throat immediately reacted to the air quality and smell coming out of the wall air conditioner. I will say that the staff was very accommodating. It was check-in time and they were swamped, but after standing in line again, they canceled our reservation and we found another lodging.

The benefit of a U-shaped style motor lodge is the ability to keep a close eye on your car. The cloth chair furniture and carpets do need deep spot cleaning, but the room overall is clean with a comfortable bed. Very clean soft sheets. Big lobby and EXCELLENT customer service and staff. Deducted 1 star only for the carpet/chair stains, but would stay again!

This hotel will change your room reservation. All staff does not know how to get rooms in different hotspots onto the internet. Does not answer the phone. Long waits to check in. Miss leading on rooms with a view when it is a view of an old house.

Unsatisfied with our stay. Mostly to do with customer service support. Flight was delayed past midnight and I was calling for hours trying to get through to best western new oregon and no one was answering. It continued to say connecting to operator and would just loop around to main menu.

Very well located for our visit. Excellent location to the college campus. Felt safe with parking directly in front of our room. All the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. The AC was a little noisy.

I was thrilled to return to the Best Western New Oregon after having stayed previously before for leisure and this time for work. The proximity to my work site was fantastic and the room was everything I needed for an extended stay. The mini fridge, microwave and air conditioning were the highlights of the room, but the friendly and incredibly accommodating front desk staff were the highlight of the stay. All very friendly and willing to help with any requests (plastic cutlery and paper plates, extra toilet paper, bandaids etc.). The hotel is also walking distance to downtown Eugene. I truly enjoyed my stay and will always come to this hotel first when I can when returning to this location for business or leisure.

Price was jacked up because of an event. We were hoping to use sauna & hot tub but they were closed (probably a COVID thing), and pool only allowed 1 family at a time. If we knew this ahead of time, we would not have stayed here. Lighting is terrible in the rooms. Internet wasn't good, pages would only load like 20% of the time. Washer & dryer were convenient but as far as we could tell, there's only 1 for the whole motel. Employees were very nice. Room was clean. I would not stay here again. I did not feel it was worth the $$.

Best Western has done a great job at the boots on the ground level. Staff is always courteous and helpful. They just make you feel like they care. Not that easy to find these days! Keep doing what you do.

We stopped here for one night on our way to Reno. We have stayed here one time before. Don't expect a hot breakfast because you won't get one. Its breakfast in a paper bag and not very good. Don't get the breakfast sandwich because it is very dry and blah! The hotel is really old and the room smelled musty. You could see the outside through the front door. It felt like you could just kick in the door to enter! The beds are amazing and super comfortable. You get a microwave, but no frig. The bathroom area is nice with wonderful towels. An okay place for one night. The hotel staff is very nice. I did feel they charge way too much for the age of the place.

Ant infested, no warm water, advice for parents- the river rooms railing an entire child could fall through so do not book with kids. There were black hairs everywhere and our feet stuck to the floor. Overall cleanliness was really disgusting.

What a sweet gem this is, always clean , comfy beds, close to Track Town Pizza and the pool is larger than most hotel pools. We had a fabulous stay! We will definitely be back for other staycations in the future !

This BW was quite dirty and reeked of wet dog. The room was booked as non-smoking and no pets. This will be the last time we stay here. My family would not use the shower as you could see the black mold in the bathroom.

Our room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was helpful and the location was good. It's walking distance to a couple of restaurants and a nice market. We would stay here again

The room we got was obviously and older room, so old it smelled stale. Don't even think about watching tv its goin to be a waste of your time. If your booking a room that says waterfront or waterview its not worth it at all. Dont waste your money. The beds were comfortable though I will give them that.

If your travel plans include Eugene Oregon and if you are looking for a clean and convenient place to stay and a good value, then the New Oregon is a great option. Right across the street from U of O and all the campus facilities this property is perfect for anything related to the campus. It is also very convenient to all of downtown Eugene. I also found the staff to be extremely helpful!

I want to especially Thank Bethany at the New Oregon. She has gone above and beyond my request every visit we had. I was having surgery in Eugene and driving a long way she made our stay even better. The rooms are clean and nice. The TV is a bit of a pita to work. Not many regular channels and I'm sure non-internet/Netflix/YouTube users would not be able to operate it very well. Being an older building the floor does slope toward the restroom slightly. Not a problem with use but took some time to adjust. Shower- AWESOME!!!!! Plenty of hot water no fluctuations and very hard flow LOVE IT The best pizza place in town (Track Town) is walking distance as well as StarBucks. I have stayed here 4 times and will be staying again in February. We stayed in a Pet friendly room and for those who have small dogs the beds are very high. We pull the ottoman over to the bed and put the luggage next to it and built stairs for our Maltese Mini to get on and off the bed.

This property is old and tired, rooms dark and I had problems with TV and toilet which I had to repair myself. Do I need to say more. When I reported tv problems staff member said to unplug if this didn't work she had no other suggestions, never offered to send help.

Room was clean but small. Amenities close by which was nice. Centrally located. Friendly staff. There was some construction in the vicinity which I was concerned about the noise however it was not a problem

Clean simple accommodations conveniently located adjacent to the University of Oregon. Friendly and helpful staff. A bit disappointed that there was no modified breakfast or even coffee/tea as experienced at other locations in response to COVID-19 concerns and guidelines. All-around, very satisfied with the stay.

Stay in Eugene,OR off the 5 near slot of places and next to a great food bar and grill. Easy off and back on to the 5 . Takes the road off of you when goin up or down the state. You can get a very fresh stop the next day to get going wherever that might be.

This place was okay for one night. The location is great and near the Oregon dorms. The WiFi was terrible. Neither my husband or I could get it to work. I wouldn't stay here again if anything else was available. It is near a Market of Choice for food needs.

The Best Western New Oregon is conveniently located close to the University of Oregon campus. The room and overall facilities were very clean, an excellent value and the staff was very helpful. I highly recommend it. It will be my first choice when I return to Eugene.

We stayed for one night on our road trip with my family of four. The room was narrow and the furniture was large so the space felt cramped. If someone is at the desk, you can't walk through. The beds are too high, I had to help my four year old up. It took me some effort to get on to the bed. The carpet in the room could use a carpet cleaning. Their bag breakfast has been the nicest of all the BW we have stayed at, they offer Jimmy Dean sandwiches and bowls. For one night, this place worked for us.

I have stayed at this Best Western a few times over the last 30 years and the rooms overlooking the river were great. On my most recent stay my two older dogs accompanied me, and I stayed in a "pet friendly" room on the first floor. The room had a cold hard wood which was severe and uncomfortable. It faced the parking lot and was quite dark, even with the curtains open, possibly because it was underneath the second story of rooms. The worst part was the shower - it was something out of a dumpy campground, with a portable showerhead that barely gave off enough water. When I asked the front desk staff if another room was available upstairs (to try to get a room with more light), I was told only downstairs rooms are for pets, but I did see a pet owner and their dog exiting from an upstairs room on my last day. I did not appreciate paying full price for such an uncomfortable room with a sub-par shower, and not being told the truth about where the pet-friendly rooms are located. I will not be staying here again.

Nice, clean, and friendly place to stay. Would recommend to anyone as a good place to stay the night. Had fun watching the ducks in the river outside our room, kids really enjoyed that. Can't wait for next trip.

We found ourselves in the Eugene area during COVID. We had made reservations at the Best Western New Oregon. I'm glad we did. The check in was quick and simple. The staff were great to work with. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The pool was open and it was great. The Best Western New Oregon will not disappoint!

The Best Western New Oregon is a nice hotel. Basic rooms. Everything was clean. Right across from the University. I had a pet and there were plenty of walking places right around the corner. Clean nice rooms and parking right in front.

This hotel is minutes off the highway and right on the Uni of O campus. The area felt safe and friendly. The hotel is just steps away from a great network of flat scenic trails around the Wlilmette River great for biking or walking, perfect for a power walk after a long day of driving. Our room was spotlessly clean though a bit dated. The bathroom towels were snowy white and plush - a pleasant surprise in a budget hotel. The air-conditioning was super loud, both from our room and the room next door, but I guess in the cooler months this would not be an issue. The room was very spacious with a balcony overlooking the river, and the bed was very comfortable.

All the staff were helpful and courteous. Great location, directly across from the U of Oregon. Clean and extremely COVID-19 conscience. This is the 2nd time staying here and I will definitely stay here again!

The perfect place to explore Eugene, Springfield , and the surrounding wineries from. Attentive staff, clean rooms. The only disappointment was that the hot tub was closed due to Covid. Easy to get in and out of.

The hotel was nice and very clean. There is a nice area outside for my dog. There is a resturaunt next door that has reopened which was very convenient. There is a lot of construction going on in the area but it didn't effect my stay

First, I'll say that I've stayed here before and had a good experience, that's why I chose this location again. Last time we stayed here, it was a 2nd floor overlooking the millrace (stagnant creek : welcome to Eugene) and the room was clean and comfortable. When I booked this time (4/25/20) and requested a similar room, I was told it wasn't available. Not sure why, since we're in a global pandemic and they were at <10% capacity...? Anyways, checked into room #133 and it was fine by a quick first glance. A bit small, but clean with updated furniture and fixtures. I jumped in the shower right away, and when I got out I noticed just how screwed up the whole room was; half the room was level, but the other half was like completely slanted and crooked! It was like the room was built out of a converted garage where there was an inclined driveway that went into a garage. The bed/tv area was level but the rest of the room was like being on a hillside. Not even joking. If you set a pen on the table it would roll away, and you could see outside from under the door because the floor was so jacked. Thankfully, I don't suffer from vertigo and didnt trip and crack my skull. I can deal with with the noisy heater unit and the stupid “smart” tv that doesn't have any local channels, but having a living space that is crooked is just unacceptable. I didn't complain or ask for a different room, because I was already settled in after my shower and didn't want to deal with packing everything back up. Regardless, I felt the $95 I paid for the room was outrageous given the extremely poor quality and degrading conditions of the building structure. In the attached pics, notice the water level In the glass and the angle of the floor under the door.

This is well located across from the campus of the University of Oregon. We stayed one night. Our room had a very noisy heater/fan unit that kept me up all night. The beds were super high off the floor and the floor itself was the fake bamboo-looking vinyl so I worried our little dog would jump off and break her leg (nice that they take dogs though!). The TV set up is really the worst--a program called "Telegenic" where you have to download an app to use your own phone as the remote. We couldn't figure out how to use it so I have the stupid app but couldn't use the TV.

Front desk was super friendly. The hotel itself was nice and clean, but seemed a little older.. I thought the price was a little on the high side. I did see pictures of a nice indoor swimming pool, but I didn't get s chance to make it down there.

Arrived at the New Oregon Best Western, to a beautiful well staffed front desk. Room was perfect, and allowed room for our furry family member to attend with us a trade show. Breakfast was one of the best ever experienced at any Best Western over the years.

My previous review on this hotel was suppose to be a 4 but ended up a mistake of 1. Redoing as it is a nice place to stay with friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed & bedding as well as a hot breakfast. Next door is construction so this may have been why the price was so reasonable. We will be staying there again in the future. Ken

We spent three nights at the Best Western New Oregon right near the University of Oregon campus where our grandson lives. Although convenient, some aspects of the hotel were less than appealing. We had a pet friendly room that was clean. The room was pretty small and the bathroom very small. Had trouble turning the faucet on in the tub because it was stuck and wouldn't pull out. We enjoy watching TV in the evening. You can only access 4 local channels. Everything else you needed to use apps such as Hulu, Sling, etc. If you didn't have an account you had to enroll in an account. My husband was told that "that's the way we do it". The breakfast room was nice and it was a good included breakfast. I felt the price of the room was too high for the size, quality and lack of amenities.

As expected everything worked smoothly. We have to work part of every day as we travel and sometimes internet can be dodgy but it worked perfectly. Will definitely stay again and recommend to my clients who book their travel with me.

The New Oregon is not new and has not been for years. Would I stay there again, heck yes, does it need some love, yes it does, should you stay there, sure, its fine. Water pipes loud from room next door, sounds like a jet engine taking off when they turned on the shower. To me its on the edge of needing investment and redeveloped as the area grows. They did put in a new TV system that is not fun to use, unless you are 15 and or have lots of time. I am used to hitting ESPN for game day before I go to a Duck game, that is a process now. Its finest days are behind, they price like its special, location is the reason they can do that. I figure you will see a tear down in the next few years and a multi story new project will be built to stay competitive. Staff is friendly and nice, no complaints. GO DUCKS !!!

Took the kids to WWE it was across the street from BW so we didn't have to pay for parking its was a great stay breakfast was good lots of stuff to choose from we got an upgrade to the family suite it had 3 beds an the kids had there own bed room

Nice place except for the onsite construction trucks rumbling their engines in the wee hours of the morning, just outside the door. One would think that the motel manager would have scheduled this commotion to start at a civilized hour so as to not disturb paying guests. Definitely would not stay here again.

Met up with several family and friends to attend the Civil War Women's Basketball game at Matthew Knight Arena. This particular Best Western is across the street from the arena. It is a nice hotel with a complimentary breakfast. Across from the arena on a side street is The Wild Duck I highly recommend it.

Easy access to University of Oregon's campus to see my sons art exhibit. I was able to walk over to exhibit hall and not have to deal with campus parking. Staff was very friendly in front lobby. They go out of their way to meet your needs. I relaxed in the sauna before bed and it was wonderful. This is a non smoking facility and I appreciate that no smoking is allowed on premises.

Great location very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Rooms very clean and comfortable . I wish they would have a ottoman in room so one can put feet up after a long drive. Would return to this hotel!

This motel is right across the street from the Knight Arena and the UO campus. It has a pool, breakfast, and the beds are very supportive if you have a bad back like me. The only issue for us was that there was no night light for the bathroom. On the other hand the staff is very supportive and want to see that you are satisfied.

This hotel is very clean, the staff is very friendly and professional. While this hotel has been around a while, it is very well maintained. The pool and spa area was clean and quite comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was also very nice.

Our check-in was pleasant and efficient. We knew we were in a bit of trouble when we opened our room and saw the beds. You could see the dips in the mattress and sure enough both beds were uncomfortable and we rolled to the center. The bedding seemed dated and I wondered if the blankets were washed. The room was spacious in fact could have used another chair since there was space. The room felt semi-clean but the bathroom floor had seen the wear of a shower curtain that couldn't keep the water in the shower no matter what we did. I also thought it was odd the shampoo conditioner and soap were at the sink outside the bathroom area. Better take them in with you! No real place in the bathroom to put anything outside the towel rack over the toilet or on the floor or the towel hook on the door. It was nice having the duel sink area and outside the bathroom but that needs to be thought out for guest conscience with the simple things like where to place things in the shower area and move the items for a shower into the shower. Our stay was a later arrival and super early departure so we didn't use anything but our rooms and left before breakfast. Sadly it is not a place we will return to as there are other BW in town that are a step-up.

Marcella was so kind and helpful. We pulled in late after driving all day. We ended up with 3 queens instead of a king because of not having an elevator and we are senior citizens. We did see some suspicious activity near our car and had two cars that seemed to be casing the place. My husband didn't sleep most of the night because he was afraid our car would be stolen. We notified Marcella and she said they had cameras in the parking lot. The breakfast was decent. The bed was comfortable and was able to take a good shower.

My husband & I always stay at the New Oregon Best Western. Close to our son's home and its closeness to the University of Oregon, and the Matthew Knight arena and anything to downtown makes this hotel t he best location to stay.

Best Western New Oregon is a good choice if you are visiting Eugene OR. The comfort and convenience of being in a safe and homey atmosphere (away from home) relaxes and maintains one's peace and harmony. The Staff are very cheerful and helpful.

We have stayed in many different places, and one thing that is always a disappointment is the shower. Not Here!!!! My husband was not feeling well and he wanted a HOT and LONG shower. He got it. I think he stayed in the shower for 10 minutes and never ran out of hot water. AWESOME!!!

Great amenities offered....free coffee in rooms whitch was a plus...staff very friendly hard workers.beds were amazing very very comfortable an was high off ground. They defiantly make sure u have extra towels. coming back when I visit my family in Oregon.

I like that the pool is in it's own building. I've been to places where I get a room near the pool and its load, especially if it's open till Mid-night like it is here. Awesome location too, .9 mile walk from the stadium.

Checked in late on a Friday evening for an early Cross Country meet on Saturday. I received accomodations to assist me with my limited walkig abilities. Provided a great breakfast. My son loved the area as he was able to see the Matthew Knight arena.

If you are looking for a clean well run hotel within walking distance of the university, this is the place. It is quiet and convenient and the staff is very professional and friendly. We have stayed here before and will stay here again.

The rooms are clean and spacious. The front desk staff are always available, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast spread is good, and fresh. The location is great - by U of O and the Willamette River.

Front desk is awesome but you never know if your going to get a nice clean room or one worn out. There were large holes in the bathroom walls. They were pretty full with construcktions workers from next door so short of room.

Whenever we stay at Best Western New Oregon we are made to feel welcome and appreciated. The staff always smiles, says hello and makes sure everything is ok! They are also very accomodating! We will continue to use this hotel in the future!

The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The location right across the street from the U of Oregon and the Knight arena were perfect. The room was large and clean, and I was able to get one on the millrace, a small stream with ducks and even a swimming nutria. It was very quiet back there. Parking right at your door. A nice sports bar/restaurant next door. All the right amenities, microwave, refrigerator, large tv, coffee maker, and a lovely bathroom. The 24-hour coffee in the lobby was delicious. The bed and pillows were very comfy. I look forward to staying here again.

We've stayed at a few hotels in this area and this one is our favorite. The location is great for sports weather it's a football game or basketball. The suites are good for groups. Good restaurants within walking distance.

My daughter and I traveled with her Australian shepherd, Bandit. It worked out perfectly. We were on the first floor, the staff was helpful and friendly, and the environment felt safe. I would recommend this hotel for the price, and it was adjacent to the University.

If you are looking for a hotel within close proximity to Matthew Knight Arena, this fits the bill. If you are looking for a room in which the tv/phone/toilets are in good working order, this is not the hotel for you.

We have stayed here twice and have been pleased both times. It is extremely convenient if you are visiting a student at UO. You are across the street from campus and close to the river. The rooms we have stayed in were quiet even though the road is busy.

Just across the street from the arena and Starbucks a block or so down the street. The bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows. The room was very clean and nice. The lobby was great with very helpful staff. The breakfast was the normal faire but done well. There were several bars and restaurants within walking distance. I will definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Place was dirty, food was not good. The room was really dirty, hot and bathroom falling apart. I could not wait to leave. They increase their prices based on events. Their is not any nice hotels in Eugene in my opinion but this one was just nasty. I have never stayed in such a gross hotel in my life.

I always stay at this Best Western when In Eugene, Oregon. The cost of the stay is normally very reasonable and the location is perfect for any business or pleasure at or around University of Oregon. Very abundant breakfasts and a nice swimming pool and hot tub to relax in after a long day.

Stayed one night for a Duck football game. We were able to check in early and got to park undercover. The front desk clerks were all very friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. Our room was nice and clean -- plenty of towels and bath products. The location is great if you are attending an activity at Autzen or anywhere on campus. This was our 1st visit to EUGENE and this hotel and we were very pleased with our stay. It is conveniently located across the street from campus and a 5 minute walk from the football stadium. This hotel is very clean with great amenities. They serve free breakfast that included a pancake maker, oatmeal, excellent omelettes, and even almond milk as an option for coffee and cereals. I used the jacuzzi and pool but saw they also have a sauna. The room was very clean with a super comfortable bed, TV, and WiFi adapter. I would highly recommend staying here.

This motel/hotel works fantastic. As most motel-like hotels, it offers everything a traveller needs in a very professional way. Do not expect extras or luxurious services/stuff but all is clean, even the swimming pool and the gym and the sauna!!! Ok maybe having breakfast in paper plates and cups is a bit .... uhhhh.. but the breakfast itself is very rich. The only drawback is that the rooms do not have a small desk in case you want to do some office work.

Stayed here a couple different times with daughter attending U of O. Rooms are roomy and comfortable, nice quality linens, generous supply of towels. Its was a bit hot on this last stay, no actual central AC but a room AC type of machine worked well, just noisy. I tend to be very noise sensitive though. TV is gigantic sized. Our room had a balcony on the millrace, really enjoyed that and felt it worthy of the few extra dollars when you select your room. Breakfast: decent. Good quality coffee, lots of cold and hot food selections. Pool/sauna/hot tub area is nice looking, did not use. It was open till 12 which seemed generous. Overall great stay. Eugene has lots of lodging options, from the high end Inn at the 5th, to some lower level motel type places. This place will definitely fulfill all your needs without breaking the bank. Location cannot be beat. Extremely comfortable.

What I liked: This motel is conveniently located to the university and not far from downtown if that is where you want to be. The prices are ok unless it is a game day. It has the amenities like breakfast buffet, pool, laundry, WiFi, etc. it has been refurbished. Staff were friendly. White I didn't like: The bed was a high rise. If you're not in good health getting in and out of bed could be a challenge without a step. The bathrooms are small (not enough counter space) with no bathtub. My room was supposed to have a refrigerator but it didn't. There were stains on the furniture and floor. When a h/motel has WiFi one is generally given access info at check in. I forgot to ask and they didn't tell. It appears there is only one ice machine for the complex and it is by the main office which isn't terrible unless the weather is bad and one doesn't mind hiking in the rain. Summary: A motel past it's prime trying to be hip for the university crowd. It's located in “Track Town” with beds suited for pole vaulters.

The room was very nice, it was quiet, the river view was pleasant and included ducks swimming by. We know the ducks did not work for the motel. Breakfast was convenient, close by, and the food was good. No waiting for service and there was plenty to eat.

We stay in a lot of best westerns around Oregon and keep coming back for a reason! Unfortunately we trusted the best western name when booking this room in Eugene. The room smelled like someone with a dog had lived in it for a month, when it was a no dogs or pets room. Also the carpet felt unclean. We did not feel comfortable walking around the room barefoot. All that aside the bed was very comfortable and the sheets were clean. The room was just very outdated and probably well used. The tipping point was the following morning we were jolted awake when someone tried getting into our room and the only thing that stopped them was the chain on the door. No one ever came to apologize for the mistake which made us feel even more uncomfortable.

Everyone here made us feel extremely comfortable and were very accommodating. Beds, sheets and pillows provided a great night's sleep. Conveniently located across from campus with good restaurants within walking distance.

This place is in a gem of a location right across the road from the University of Oregon, and within easy driving distance of many other local attractions. But what was really outstanding about it was the very helpful lobby staff, who conducted themselves, in the equally impressive grand lobby area, as if this were a high-end luxury hotel. Directions, touring tips, help with forgotten items, ready smiles, pride in appearance. That's the spirit! And don't miss the trail that connects to the property -- recommended by that same special staff.

We were in town for a wedding...and occupied 4 separate guest rooms for our family. The reservations and accommodations were very good from check-in to check-out! We have utilized this motel for the last 5 years while our son attended UO. Highly reccommend!

Friendly staff but terrible tv viewing options for the price of the room. The evening gal tried to fix the problem but she was pretty much by herself - everyone else had gone! 24 channels and some of those did not work. Good location to Matthew Night Arena, but.....

We were in Eugene for a wedding/vacation. We stayed here for a week. The Staff from the Front desk to House keeping. were Helpful and Accommodating. Just a few blocks from wedding location on UO campus Old Father Lawn. We took a morning walk in Alton Baker Park. Also just a few blocks away. We also walked to the Saturday Market Downtown, that was a bit farther, but not bad. Breakfast was pretty good. They put out a nice variety. One thing that was missing were waffles. They did have a pancake machine, my wife had one I passed. I guess if I had one complaint it would be that the HotTtub was out of order. (for the whole week) After all the walking I could have used one.

We had exceptional service at this hotel. Due to unexpected illness of one of our group, we needed to check out a bit late. The staff were very understanding, kind, and helpful in making arrangements to help us. The room was nice and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Being able to walk across the street to the University of Oregon was an added bonus. I definitely plan to stay at this hotel in the future.

Affirdable and convenient location within walking distance to UO to attend our son's orientation. The front staff was very accommodating with a room change from a single King to two Queens. First time to stay there and plan to be back on future visits to Eugene. Nice to see the rooms are constantly being upgraded.

Arrived earlier then expected, even earlier then the estimated time we gave when we requested early check in. The room wasn't ready at 1pm but was ready soon after and well before the 2pm time we requested. Staff called to let us know it was ready. Room was clean and quiet with a giant TV my son loved. I walked out on the private deck to see a duck with 3 babies swimming in the river behind the hotel. We later saw up to 12 ducks at a time and even saw a large crane and a river otter. The pool was large and clean and they had different options for breakfast each day. We will definitely be staying here next time we are in Eugene.

My wife and I decided to stay here on our trip to Oregon and this was a great hotel. All of the staff members were friendly and helpful. We got a great room at a fair price. The room itself was clean and comfortable. We didn't have any issues at all. We would definitely stay here again

I stay here twice a year as I journey from Fresno to Washington. This place is clean, safe and comfortable. The breakfast is hearty and the coffee is hot. Easy to enter and exit. A bit of a drive to get to the freeway, but absolutely worth it.

This location was great! There are two best westerns on the same street. It was a little confusing, especially with the construction on the road right in front of the building. Otherwise, it was in a prime location could walk to the school, a couple of restaurants etc. The room itself looked great, beds were easy to sleep on, however, the room smelled musty almost damp or old. You can not tell by looking at it that this would happen but it did. Since we were only there for 2 nights we did not want to make a complaint. Overall the breakfast, gym and pool were just what we needed. The front lobby ladies were friendly as well as the kitchen staff. Great service was provided!

Close to anything you would need. Great facility, breakfast was wonderful, and staff was very friendly and helpful. Late hours for the pool and hot tub are really nice, if you are busy during the day, you still have time to enjoy a swim or relax in the hot tub!!!

Unfortunately I had a flight cancellation on graduation day for the University of Oregon. Rooms were at a premium; after several phone calls, I was able to get a room here. I was told that the only thing open was a “pet friendly” room. I was assured that it was well-cleaned. Being a pet owner, I was okay with that. Well, it was very clean. The room was very comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance of several restaurants. It is actually located directly across from the university. Great customer service from the late afternoon clerk - either it was Julie or Judy (can't recall). The continental breakfast was also very good. The only complaint I have is that there is no shuttle to and from the airport. However, there are taxis and UBER/LYFT available.

The room was clean, the bed was super comfortable. I didn't have a chance to use the pool but it looked great. Breakfast was above average Despite being right on a very busy street and the hotel being nearly sold out, it was quiet. Trev's, the sports bar next door is bright, family friendly and has a great menu. The *only* thing I can complain about is that the TV was kind of a pain in the neck- the universal remote can't properly access the television and tended to skip channels when scrolling.

Very helpful, friendly front desk staff; super clean room and facilities. I found this was a great value and the reservation was as I expected on the hotel's end, although Priceline's reservation system had made 2 errors on the confirmation they sent me. I often travel with my cat and so the property's pet policy (allowing a cat) was a plus and $20 fee very reasonable.

We had a great stay at this Best Western. I love Best Western. Eating points for free stays and the promotions they always have. It makes staying at them so much more fun. Love it that most of the Best Westerns leave the pool and hot tubs open till midnight too

we stayed the night at the new oregon location, king room with balcony. "water view" i was not impressed not one bit. given it was a last minute reservation, i reserved that morning. any how, we arrived on location, checked in and went to our room. so the "waterview' feature was not at all expected. all it is was a dirty shallow creek that runs through town. overall the room wasnt clean, i have higher expections with best western because of the price. ive stayed at the brand for many many times. there was hair in the shower from the previous use, the bathroom was dirty. just not like any other best western ive stayed at. really disappointed.

Decaf Earl Grey in the room for before sleep. Earl Grey w/caffeine in the morning to help you wake up. Here's the detail I thought was best though... A power strip which allowed you to charge 4 USB devices at once as well as plug in 4 items to standard 120 volt power.

Located very near the “O.” Room very comfortable. Clean and well appointed. Beds excellent. Breakfast buffet complete with eggs, pancakes, juices, oatmeal, sausages, and more. Very quiet in the evening and into the morning. Topping off the stay was an excellent staff. Courteous and very helpful. Would not hesitate to stay there when we next visit Eugene. Go Ducks!

I come down to visit my son who is attending the University of Oregon across the street. Breakfast is nice and the rooms are clean. The lobby staff are very pleasant and helpful. I also love the option of bring a pet even though I did not travel with my pet this trip. I use the Pool and the sauna which are a nice way to relax.

We came in late around midnight May 17 to BW New Oregon (Eugene) . The two ladies at the front desk were incredibly nice, they called two places for us since we need a lock for our U-Haul truck. They called Walmart and another store. So nether store had the lock we were looking for. so these women watched our truck all night. When ever I go from state to state it will be with Best Western, they take pets and give them treats! Thank you ladies and thank you Best Western!!!

Our room was small, but clean and comfy. I property was well maintained. The check in process was fast and the staff member friendly and efficient. There was a good restaurant within walking distance. We will definitely stay here again.

The indoor pool was larger then I expected. Great for doing laps and it even had a deep end. Nice hot tub too. It was also open until 12:00 AM. As for breakfast, that was also excellent. Great pancakes with plenty of fix ‘ins. Biscuits and gravy too. The dining area was clean and spacious.

Service was very good and price reasonable. Rooms are cramped but functional and had all that was needed. Well kept, clean and very good breakfast. Outside was nicely landscaped and they allow pets even though I didn't have one with me will remember it for next time. Walking distance to U of O.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. It is a motel style facility that is very near to the University of Oregon. We stayed in the single story section and liked it because we were able to park in front of our room. The lobby and pool are very attractive and the included breakfast was good. My husband loved the pancake machine. I would stay here again if I return to the area.

The travelers above us were noisy, stomping around, maybe the hotel should reconsider putting children on a second floor, but the place was beautiful and clean and wonderful!! I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through Eugene!!!

Great location to University of Oregon. Our daughter attends college there and this is always the hotel we book and stay at for the close proximity to campus. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, markets are all within a few blocks or an easy drive to downtown.

The motel itself is good, clean and comfortable. But it's the friendly staff that make this Best Western a fantastic place!! We were here for about 6 weeks after trees fell on our house, so we encountered nearly every staff member. EVERYONE was willing to go above and beyond. Really special people here. Thank you!

It is a cheap hotel. People were doing smoking in parking. They are using a very cheap brand coffee. After drinking this coffee, you will not feel that you had drunk coffee. AC is not secure. Definitely I will not recommend this hotel.

We had a very nIce clean room, 65” tv was great. Breakfast had hot and cold items, great breakfast. There are lots of restaurants nearby. We Really enjoyed a walk in the woods that is only minutes from hotel. Will definitely come back, Eugene is lovely!!

Do NOT stay here!! The over priced river view advertised is a stagnant creek with garbage in it. The room stunk and overall condition was sub-par. The measly refund they added (as much as staff said they could until mgr could approve) was actually ADDED to my bill (which I now have the hassle of) and the manager NEVER called. I usually enjoy Best Western but will reconsider now!

Stayed here for 3 nights in April 2018 and was very impressed. Hotel is right across from the University of Oregon. Very close to walking/running/biking trails was convenient. Enjoyed being able to walk every where on campus - Admissions/Student Union/Knight Area/Hayward Field/Softball Field was within a 15 minute walk. Would highly recommend for prospective student's visiting the school or for any event on campus.

Very professional and kind reception. Clean and comfortable rooms with nice amenities. Very quiet nights sleep on a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was included and included plenty of hot items. It is right across the street from Matthew Knight Arena and several good places to eat. I would return in a heartbeat.

Everything was clean and organized , The check in was slick and sweet, after spending a few hours on the road it was great to just get there and get in our room. Breakfast was delicious and the motel is in a great location!

The only good thing about this hotel is the location...right across from UO. We were given a room in the back of the building nowhere near our car and were told we could not move because of "our rate". The bed was lumpy, saggy and had a very light blanket. Whower very basic, breakfast as usual with BW. Would not recommend.

Could be great if they got rid of the front desk staff that is horribly rude and combative toward customers paying $2400 for their stay (Julie)! Our first room ($134/night) smelled so bad we we had to change rooms. Julie at the front desk was the rudest customer service representative I've ever met! The micro mini fridge was broken and she told me I would have to wait till the next day for maintenance to fix it... she should have just replaced it right then, knowing I had food enough to feed a family of 5! Definitely not as clean as it should be for the price! The hot tub had a nasty yellow scum ring around it through our stay; I would not even get in it! I pulled a hairball out of my bathtub drain that was the size of a small rat! I even brought it to the front desk and told them I had a video of me pulling it out, and they did nothing! They put a family of 20 people above us on the top floor... need I say more! There were electrical issues in every room we tried, which ended up being a total of 3! This hotel should definitely be inspected and possibly knocked down a star!

Very average place except for location. the Mathew Night Arena is accross the street and Track Town Pizza is basically next door. Rooms, Beds, Bahs, need updating. Friendly, clean. Need updating. If someone would train the people handling the breakfast to be more professional and like woeking at home, that would help. Don't carry a can of store bought off the shelf Gravy through the line of prople waiting for breakfast.

We loved the staff and location at this hotel. The rooms were clean (we had a pet friendly room and it smelled clean too!) the lobby coffee was hot and fresh 24 hours, the staff always took time to come pet the pups and give them treats. The pool was heated and indoors, we got a 2 room suite with lots of room to spread out and relax. Great walking trail along the river and though the campus right behind the hotel and we had a river view too. I will stay here every time I'm up this way.

Near freeway and college. Exceptional bedding. Nice and quiet, large parking area. Fitness room with pool. Free breakfast very fresh with lots of choices. Pet friendly. Rooms seem to be newly remodeled.

The room was clean, check in was easy but the pool was disappointing and the hot tub was down for repairs. If you don't plan to use the hot tub and need to be close to U of O then its great. Otherwise, stay in Springfield near Gateway.

We used expedia to book and asked for a bathtub a pet friendly idk if its expedia or bestwesterns fault but we did not get a bathtub and we did not get a pet friendly room they demanded we buy a whole new hotel room if we wanted our dog to keep them warm and I called ahead to check to see if there was a pool which was shut down the entire time we were there

The motel is a good value, nice people and a good location. The room was small and we requested a pet friendly room which we got..the smell was pretty bad. We have a large older dog, he is a good boy and wouldnt do anything in the room, but the smells really got to him. My husband had trouble breathing and his eyes hurt. The property was so pretty and they had it all set up for pets with bags and the grass areas were really clean. I would stay here again if it werent for the smell. The breakfast area was super nice and the food was good.

The room as convenient, with a large tub, the TV was also large and it worked great to watch the Super Bowl. Had their free breakfast and it was excellent. Cheese omelet, ham, breakfast rolls. Many other choices available starting at 6:30 am.

I have stayed at this hotel on three separate occasions. Overall it is a good value for a clean quiet comfortable room. However, on one occasion I was given a room with a standup shower wherein the drain was so slow that I ended up standing in ankle deep water by the end of the shower. Requests made to the front desk over the period of two days were not enough to solve the problem adequately, although there was some improvement and I know they worked on it. All in all I would stay at this hotel again anyway.

This is where I stay whenever i'm working in the area. Staff is fantastic. Breakfast is great. They always make me feel at home here. Home away from home. Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable and the TV is large. I love it here. You can't go wrong.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and everything worked. Breakfast variety was surprising and all tasted good. Swimming pool is large and hot tub was perfect. All in all, a great value.

I expect a certain level of cleanliness and comfort when I book Best Western, but I was disappointed on all counts at this location. From the curt desk staff to the horrible smelling room, the uncleanliness, and the door to the outside that my key card did not reopen (making me walk very very all the way around close to midnight, in the pitch dark) my impression did not improve with the NOISE. OMG I have never stayed in such a noisy place! People shouting, slamming doors, and whatever else until after 4 a.m. Plus, the sheets are scratchy. I would have been better off driving all the way home.

We stayed at the best western new Oregon. The staff was so kind and courteous. The rooms are spacious and the most comfortable beds. The pool and sauna were so relaxing. The breakfast had omlets, hash browns, strawberry pancakes and many other wonderful breakfast items. This was a great place to stay while attending an event at Matt Knight Arena

I stay at hotels about 30 days each year for running events I attend and this hotel one was one of the BEST! Very clean and comfortable with a professional staff that had me checked in within 2 minutes or less.

We checked and Brooke at the front desk was so helpful. I called her about 5 times before arrived to ask random questions and she was great room was clean pool was heated my 4 year old loved it. Breakfast was delicious

I come here regularly to visit family and I always stay here when I come into town. The Manager Matt is fantastic and always goes above and beyond to greet guests and make sure they are comfortable. The front desk agent Brooke is very professional and personable! The location is great and close to the University of Oregon campus and the breakfast is fantastic. I recommend anyone coming to Eugene to stay at this Best Western! I am looking forward to my next trip already.

Easy to get to from the airport, only 15 minutes-Check in was fast and efficient, and the friendly gal gave me a great room overlooking the creek and trail. Room was quiet on the second floor, we had plenty of space for the two of us. King sized bed had comfortable pillows and good linens. Good WiFi- clean -no complaints. Basketball stadium is across the street. Eugene is a busy city- but very walkable.

Let me preface this review by saying I have worked in the hospitality business for 20 years now running a 65 room property. First off, the property is meticulously maintained and the rooms are excellent. Their location next to Matt Knight Arena and food choices make it even more desirable. However, for being in the hospitality business, Best Western New Oregon is lacking just that, HOSPITALITY! My girlfriend and I have visited this property, as well as the one they own next door to them 7 times in the past month while her mother was in the few remaining days of her life. We enjoyed every trip with zero complaints and all interaction with the staff at Best Western New Oregon was exceptional. On November 8, already planning to come visit her mother via a prepaid reservation made the week before, my girlfriend got the dreaded phone call that she had passed in the morning. She arrived at the hotel around 2:30 pm to check-in and mind you nothing on our end had changed....not one thing. This time, she was informed they wouldn't except her prepaid card as a deposit that is attached to her social security number. Again, this is the same type of card we always use but mine is black and hers is blue, she was alone and I always pay when we are together. I have never had a problem with my card. They have taken the deposit from the card with zero issues. My girlfriend is already in a fog and she starts scrambling hoping to find a decent room for the night. The last thing on her mind is canceling the room with Expedia. She was there to stay in the room she had paid for and was denied the room! Don't you think the staff would be trained to apologize for the inconvenience after seeing she had already purchased the room and offer her assistance in the cancellation process?Nope, after the clerk wouldn't take the card she was told not to try it at Best Western Greentree or at Motel 66, being other properties they owned and guess what, we have stayed there with the same type of card in the past. Thankfully, she found a great new spot at La Quinta that had no problem with our card and frankly is quite nice! This morning she called Expedia to cancel and being she paid via Expedia she has to cancel with them and then Expedia calls the hotel to get the ok to refund the room. This happens daily in a big hotel and I do it often. However, I do my job and take the time to be hospitable. I look to see how often the guest stays with us and with almost every Expedia reservation is a telephone number attached. I will call them directly to see the reason for cancellation and if it's justifiable for a refund request in terms of hospitality. None of this was done as the desk clerk told the Expedia agent that my girlfriend didn't cancel the room last night, thus they couldn't rent the room. So, this means there is no communication from desk employees as one should have realized the room was still not canceled and called my girlfriend. This is why you give cell numbers on reservations, so the property can contact you. IF, the manager was more concerned about hospitality and not meeting their corporate numbers this would have been drilled into the staff. Look, they have two employees working this hotel often times and I know things can get hectic but this is an issue that should always be looked into and not just replied to the Expedia Agent with a "no"! It's probably a corporate issue but this hotel is privately owned and I can tell the owner to their face right now that the manager of their hotel is losing them business with the lack of hospitality the employees are trained to give. When I arrived in town I went to the hotel to ask the front desk clerk why my card was never declined and hers was. I showed her mine and hers and she said, "Oh, they must not have noticed the green dot on the back". Really, a credit card is not valid unless signed so when they checked the back they didn't see the greendot there? This means the employees aren't trained on this either so they aren't trained on proper credit card verification? The policy about a prepaid card makes little sense to me. I get it though as there generally isn't very much money on a prepaid card and if you damage the room the odds of that card having enough money to cover damages could be lower than that of a credit card....maybe. However, you never know how much money is left on a credit card and from experience, many a credit card has been declined at my hotel over the years. But I can tell you it's much safer for travel and the company or private owner (if able) needs to consider changing their policy due to the many data breaches at large corporations. It's a silly policy and I asked the clerk the rationale behind it and she told me the whole issue with the deposit and I told her she has know idea a credit card has 1000 dollars on it to charge for damages either. She then said, "oh we have the ability to push any credit card or bank card through and overdraft them."! Say what? I know people who work at Best Western and I know hotel owners, there is no way this is possible. So the manager isn't training them to say, "it's just our silly policy and we have no idea why". Please don't lie, as again, this is the hospitality business. This is the same girl I was trying to explain my situation to over the phone to get a reason as to why the reservation refund was not granted. We had talked for a bit and her excuse of not granting the refund because it was not canceled the day of was driving me nuts so I told her I work at a hotel and I understand how the process all works and was going to ask her if I could talk to her manager so the manager could do this clerks work and look into my guest history and grant my request. Before I could ask she said, "I don't care where you work!". The point is it's a great place to stay but they like your money more than they care about you! Frederick Berryman

Yes...the hotel is older. But it was clean and equipped with everything we needed. I stayed here last weekend, which happened to be Homecoming, Parents Weekend and a football game vs. UCLA. We weren't there for any of those reasons. Despite the attendance of these events, the hotel was quiet at night and we slept well. Breakfast was pretty typical of hotel breakfasts. Check out is at 12:00...which was so nice. The best part is the convenient location to the University of Oregon (literally across the street), coffee shops and local pub. Front desk staff were very professional and helpful. Would stay again.

The room was fairly quiet and spotless. It was a tad small but we were only there one night so it was fine. There is a great sports bar next door with a pretty extensive menu. The breakfast area is large with enough options for everyone.

This was an inexpensive hotel and very comfortable. The room was on the small size and was clean and up-to-date. The breakfast was good and extensive, the front desk was friendly and helpful. Convenient to the University.

The room was clean and just big enough that you didn't feel too crowded. The beds were comfortable but are well worn. Bathroom needs better cleaning. Location was really good and safe! There are two Best Western's with in a two-block radius. DEFINITELY pick this one. The other one has the tiniest parking spots and my Subaru Outback would have been dinged for sure and it's a narrow car. I got the view of the river (more of a canal) but the park on the other side was nice too. Lots of ducks which are so cute.

The hotel is pet friendly $20 or $25 extra. The rooms are clean, the facility is large and nice. The pool and spa is indoors! Huge plus! The breakfast is superb!!! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend when checking in to get a room further back from the street and the housekeepers room. We were in 102 and the housekeeping dept was noisy early in the morning. While I appreciate a clean place, washing my windows in the morning at 9am was kinda awkward.

Amazing place to stay!! The room was beautiful, breakfast was great, the hot tub was perfect! Can't wait to come back! There's even a sauna in the ladies room in the pool area which was just what I needed!

I do early morning training classes. Up at 4:30AM try to take a shower water to tub shut off. Get dressed stop at front office to complain told sorry guess I can give you a discount? Had to call to get my bill emailed FULL CHARGE so she probably never said anything to the manager. Asked to speak with manager he's not around either.

Great check in with super helpful and nice staff. Rooms are tiny and musky, a little cold and smelly, and you can hear everything outside. Gym to be as small as it was, had great opportunity for a good workout! Pretty cool indoor pool, no time for us to use it. Pretty good breakfast for a Best Western. University of Oregon is across the street, you could not get any closer!

Stayed here about a half a dozen times since my daughter attends the university here. If you drive here it's a great place to just pull up to your room and unload in front of your door. It's right across from the university campus so that's great. They allow pets with an extra fee which is great since we road travel with our small dog a lot. This Best Western has been recently remodeled as well as the registration check-in and complimentary breakfast room which is a nice size and great to get a quick hot meal before starting your day. Room sizes for king beds are fairly spacious, two queens a bit cozy. Bathrooms are clean however some bathrooms lack counter space. The big plus for us is the dog friendly ($20/day), clean rooms, drive up to your room door and complimentary breakfast. Which I believe is from 7am-9:30am. Hotel pricing is pretty reasonable, however, on special days (move-in, game days, graduation etc...) be aware it shoots up especially on weekends. Also, there's another Best Western on the same street which I never stayed at. The one I'm reviewing is the Best Western New Oregon.

This is one of the nicer Best Western's I have stayed at. My wife had some friends over for a sleep-over so I wanted to get out of the house. I was given a warm reception at check-in. The room was good size with good quality newer furniture. Looking closer I could see fresher paint, so apparently recently updated. The room had a nice little balcony. The flat screen TV was very large. I slept very well and enjoyed their breakfast choices.

We'll be staying here on our trip home for sure. Front desk staff so helpful. room huge and spotless, bed so comfortable didn't want to get out of it in the morning. plenty of room for my dog's big bed and all our traveling stuff. Breakfast was hot and really good.Location was great, we totally recommend you stay at this BW. Thanks BW New Oregon, we'll be back.

My favorite Hotel near University of Oregon. Love the friendliness of the staff, hearty breakfast, gym and pool. Great for business if family. And I think they have dog friendly rooms too.Always stay here when working on rental properties and convenient for sporting events st UO too!

I stayed in Eugene Oregon Best Western. Everyone was friendly and the room was clean and bed very comfortable. There are different restaurants in the area and easy accessible. Even though I didnt spend much time in the room and was out most of the day. It was wonderful to come back to a comfortable clean room.

Had a nice stay here. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The only problem we had was we have a dog and were in a room right by the office. So there was a lot of traffic. And our dog was barking due to this.

Everything was fine with this place except the channel changing on the TV. You had to select the channel, hit ENTER and then hit 1. Imagine that! Otherwise it was quiet and cozy. No problems. Breakfast was pretty good.

We stayed here twice in the last 4 weeks. be aware that there are two best westerns almost beside each other. The New Oregon is the second one. Clean, good mattresses, quiet. Our room both times backed on the river. We used the hot tub and pool and it was great. Very good coffee in the morning . Would stay here again.

Although from a distance this appears to be a roadside motel, it is FAR MORE! Beautiful rooms, with fews of the creek behind the property, easy parking and caring staff made our stay very pleasurable. The breakfast was fully, completely delicious and there was a lot of space to feel comfortable in. (Many times breakfast space is hot and crowded, this was not the case at the New Oregon.) When we are through next, we will stay here for sure!

The rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was dependable and excellent. Check in and check out was painless. The view off the deck was interesting, as I watched ducklings grow to be swimmers. Relaxing stay as always.

We spent one night and were pleasantly surprised. My Rewards card upgraded us to a room overlooking a creek. It had a small balcony with a chair. A nice bonus as the hotel is in a very busy area. The room was spacious, spotless and had a comfortable bed. The breakfast was typical of a Best Western, but served our purpose. This was very convenient to the John Shedd Institute of the Arts as we were attending the Oregon Festival of American Music.

This is an older motel but completely refurbished inside and out. We didn't care for the open hallways (no doors leading to the hallway from outside) as this posed a potential security risk. The dining area was mobbed with people so we ate elsewhere. Otherwise, we were pleased with the motel.

Nice, clean place for an overnight stay. Beds comfy, room nice and clean. Check in was a breeze. Staff was friendly and very helpful. They reccomended Trev's Sports Bar for dinner and it was great. Dinner was tasty, portions generous and staff helpful. Check out was seamless.

Very convenient place if you are visiting Crater lakes, they keep the hotel very clean. Also very closer to many nice restaurants and fast foods. Above all, very closer to I5. Nice breakfast with friendly staff.

The family suite is configured well, the drawback is the location on the property. My kids termed it the hobbit hollow or Harry Potter closet. The staff were great, beds clean and comfortable and breakfast good. The pool had extended hours that were good for us. We had a good stay before moving on.

We stayed at this facility on a trip to the Pacific Northwest 25 years ago. We found our selves needing a room on a similar trip and took the chance that this Best Western was still there and operating. We were happy to see that it was and found this experience to be satisfying. While are check in was late and our departure was early the next day, we experienced satisfying service and would recommend this Best Western motel to anyone needing a clean facility with a friendly staff.

The pictures say it all. Noisy as Hell all night. Traffic noise was terrible and the building site across the road went to work at 6.30am. Didn't sleep a wink. Hotel was full so couldn't move. Staff were very apologetic. There were quieter rooms but if you check in late expect the dreaded room 301.

We stayed for one night on a road trip. Check in was friendly and quick. Our room was clean and comfortable with two double beds. The bathroom area was spacious and there was plenty of room to hang up clothes and an iron & ironing board provided. Breakfast was good. The only slight problem was that the room was by the highway and a building site and was quite noisy. Otherwise a great stay.

The rooms were spaced out, and our stay was restful. The breakfast had nasty tasting omelettes, but the rest of it was palatable. It's all on one level, so has easy access should someone need a wheelchair.

Just passing through so only spent one night. The room was clean and big, the staff was very friendly. A private balcony over the water was great too. I'll stay here again without a doubt. The neighbor hood was nice and there is a park close by.

The top 3 factors in real estate value are location, location and location. UO is right across the street, and if you go around the corner you are on the bike/hike trail which goes along the river, and leads to a bridge across to the other side. Nice way to walk downtown. City bus stop is in the middle of the road right next to the hotel. Having said that, by no means is this a luxury resort, it's a roadside motel with doors opening onto the parking lot. The room was clean, the pool looked nice, the breakfast was decent, if a bit sparser than some of the midrange chains and the wifi worked. I'll note that I could pretty clearly see outside under the door, and something from the AC system irritated my sinuses. On the whole I would stay there again if visiting UO.

We stayed at this property for 2 nights. Overall experience was good. Rooms are nice and clean. Pool was clean as well. Loved the selection of the breakfast. People at reception were helpful, we ne ed ded microwave and they sent it in 15 min. A great stray for me.

We were here for one night on our way to Seattle. A fine stay. Room was standard -- nothing special, but no problems. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Pool and spa -- yea!!! Good breakfast included in common dining area. Very reasonable price. We were here at the end of June, so there wasn't much activity at the University (directly across the street). I imagine that when school is in session, things are much more crowded and busy.

Perfectly fine stay. Room was okay -- a standard room. No problems. Front desk staff very helpful. Nice pool and hot tub. Decent free breakfast. Price was right. Stayed just one night. Was there at the end of June, so there wasn't much activity at the University (directly across the street), but I imagine when school is in session the whole area would be more crowded.

I reviewed this motel in August of 2014, and everything I stated there is still true. It's entirely possible that, on this visit, we stayed in the very same room. That room, by the way, has a shower/tub combo, so it's not true that there are only shower stalls available here. The pillows are, in fact, a little smaller than normal (though not the square ones that Red Lion hotels use...), but we had FIVE of them on our king bed. Shampoo and conditioner come in smaller vials, but they were replaced every day. Towels were large and thick. I would add that the breakfast room has been enlarged, so was not quite as crowded-feeling as on our last visit. And we always appreciate a high level of pet-friendliness. So yes, this is still our go-to motel in Eugene.

I like most of its services - a spacious room; friendly and professional staff members; good-quality facilities; atmosphere; premiums in the room and around the hotel; food quality; and its locations!. However, some staff were hard to deal with; my room has a low ceiling (not that bad); the food is rotated every day (but only one food/meat), or it will not be rotated for some days (in my experience as I stayed for 7 days.) It's located close to University of Oregon, and you could find restaurants and hypermarkets nearby.

I liked the hotel because it was clean and quiet and close to the University of Oregon. Not an upscale hotel by any means but kept really nice. Good enough for us. I would recommend it. PS. Why so small pillows?

My daughter and I were visiting Eugene on a college tour and stayed at BW New Oregon the night before our scheduled visit. It is a bit confusing because there is another Best Western just a block away so make sure you are booking the right one and driving to the right one when you arrive. Rooms were comfortable and rate was very reasonable. Highly recommend!

I stayed at this property to visit my son on the campus of University of Oregon. It was great stay in every category. Breakfast selection was awesome. Room was very clean and in working order. Spotless. Front desk staff had great service and the GM Matthew Victor was very professional. Would highly recommend this property for anyone to stay at when visiting Eugene. Will stay at this property in the future!

Right acsross the street from U of O, not to big of a hotel, great breakfast, clean, pet friendly, and everyone is nice and helpful. And I mean nice!! You can walk to the park, bike, etc.-it's right behind you and eating is near you too. Love this place

This hotel was clean, offers complimentary breakfast, and the staff was friendly. It was great for our one night stay as we were passing through. It does have a pool however the entrance is outside and not necessarily close to the rooms, which makes for a cold walk.

We stayed here on April 22, 2018. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My mom fell out of bed and staffed checked on here while I was at mass. She is very disabled and was happy they checked to see if she needed help. 5 star service room was amazing. Thank you housekeeping the room was so clean. Loved the pool was great. Breakfast was great and staff was there to get anything we needed or ask question. Thanks for 5 star Visit. I will recommend to all.

Attention to detail is above average. Very comfortable bed and extremely clean room. The breakfast was better than expected. Every staff member wanted to do a good job.Even the grounds around the property are well taken care of. We will go back.

We were in Eugene specifically to visit UO and the New Oregon is just across the street. Check-in was quick and pleasant and room was small but clean and comfortable and seemed to have been updated. Breakfast bar in the morning was generously stocked. Will definitely stay there next time in town.

Stayed here Christmas week. Front desk staff was great. Pool is a nice area. Rooms are updated. Housekeeping could use a little help as we found things here and there that needed clean. I use to work at a Best Western and they definitely wouldn't have passed the black light test. Would post pictures but their on another phone. Would stay here again though.

Check in was smooth guest services were nice. Room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Was worried about the road noise but we didn't hear any. Breakfast was organized well, and good selection/variety. Hot tub/pool area was also clean.

I stayed there for my son's Mom's Weekend and we took in the Duck football game. This location was situated near the dorms, and along the path to the football stadium. I was able to access my room for changes of clothes easily throughout the day/evening. Definitely booking for graduation!

We had been driving for over 1600 miles with a truck and trailer and found this hotel. I need a ADA shower and this nice BW had two queen beds and a beautiful ADA shower. We were treated vewry kindly and had a good stay.

Great customer service. Large clean, comfy room, good price. We had a room with a river view, balcony with 2 chairs. Great breakfast: Sausage, eggs, muffins, oatmeal, pancakes, etc. The room smelled a little musty when we walked in but no big deal. Highly recommend, we would definitely stay here again.

Always a pleasure to stay here and especially surprised to see the expanded and updated breakfast area. The bed is one of the best that I have slept on, especially comfortable. The room decor is pleasant.

I really liked the family suite, it had enough room for the whole family. The breakfast items were really good as well. My children enjoyed the pool. There are 3 buildings so you might have to walk a little bit to get to the pool and breakfast area. Pool is not really heated but it was ok.

basic nice hotel. not too fancy. but very very conveniently located. big parking lot. toiletries a bit lame. room seems small but i think it's because of the silly configuration of desk to bed. no walking room. had to crawl over bed to get to front door because the space between desk and bed is very narrow. so with a chair there, zero space to walk.

Very nicely located across from OU. Coffee and food within walking distance of the hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms. Lots of parking space. Staff members are friendly and helpful. Breakfast room can get very crowded. But there is a nice selection of items every day .

We showed up early at the motel and we were told our room would be ready in an hour to an hour and a half. So we left and i got a call saying that they ended up upgrading us to the family sweet at no extra charge. Our stay was amazing and my kids really enjoyed the pool. And the breakfast was a wide variety that everyone found something they enjoyed eating.

I needed to stay at a pet friendly motel and found this one on line, threw this app. The room Clean and nice. The dogs felt comfortable and the pet rooms our all downstairs. The trails right behind the motel go on forever and take you over the bridge to a dog park and the football arena.I felt Very safe walking,many others walking mainly college students and some bikes. There was even A patrol car there which was nice. Perfect walk for me and the dogs! The breakfast was one of the best I have had in years at a motel for free! And the staff was really good at keeping everything stocked well & very friendly. The front desk was also friendly.great location across from UofO and we walked to Market of choice across the street and lots of restaurants to walk to. I will stay again. Good value for the super convenient location to the University of Oregon as well as several restaurants, though one has to cross a very busy road, which is dangerous at night (there are signals and crosswalks). In terms of room, carpets and sheets were in good condition- the sleeping part of the room was overall very clean. However, the bathroom was more dingy and even had an ant infestation. The staff member at the check in desk was not very friendly when I asked how to get to my room. She seemed to assume I should somehow know already. Breakfast was quite good and included so overall a great option for a quick stay.

Stayed here again for the Miranda Lambert concert. Just walk a few blocks and bam, you are at the Mathew Knight Arena. Room is clean, beds comfy. Front desk very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is good. Hot and cold selections. Will stay here again for the next concert.

My son and I stopped here while traveling from Nevada to Washington as a last-minute plan we were able to get the great room at a reasonable rate and even enjoy the pool and hot tub until midnight. They also had a great full breakfast in the morning. Very clean and great spot for the price.

Our stay was wonderful. The staff all were so friendly. Our room was spacious and had been renovated. The pool and hot tub were great. The sauna was found in the bathroom/changing room (no coed). Our room was not overly noisy. The beds were so comfortable that we wanted to take themhome with us. The breakfast had many choices for all ages. We will definitely be back. The best part was we could walk to Matt knight Arena.

Clean, efficient, but no towel holder, loud heat, no blankets, no hair conditioner, basic free breakfast. Street nose and noisy visiting sports people. But cheap, so really perfect for a single night. And right across the street from UO

Excellent price. The property was very well maintained. Right across the street from the U of O. The part I stayed in was one story, which was nice. This is an older property, so it seemed to be built solid, rooms are quiet.The property felt safe. It's a budget motel (as reflected in the price), so don't expect frills (minimalist toiletries, no tub, just shower). But you can expect a very clean room, comfy bed, friendly staff, several hot breakfast options & great wi-fi. I'd stay here again for sure.

We have had to stay in hotels multiple times over the past year. Best Western Plus has been our favorite. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy, the staff is very nice and the full breakfast is wonderful!

A wonderful . Comfortable place to stop for a night or a week. Loved the breakfast staff. Most friendly and effecient of any Best Western hotel. The balcony was right over th e little stream. Close to Evergreen Ti restruarant and U of O.

Arrived late very tired. Samantha was such a warm and welcoming person. Made sure I had everything We needed. Offered us hot coffee and a smile. Evening local paper. Traveling with a service dog and made sure I had no other special needs Heading back home will stay there again next week.

The BW New Oregon in Eugene, Oregon seemed a notch above some of the non-BW hotels that we have used. It was very convenient to the city of Eugene which gave use access to many places to go on the U of 0 campus. We will definitely choose this hotel again while in Eugene. The comfort of the beds and the quietness of the place is a real plus.

The stay was good. Maybe a little noisy at night being next to a busy street. There are also two Best Western hotels about 100 yards apart so make sure you pay attention to which one you are at. Lots of great places to eat and if you like good Indian Food you are in luck because there is one so close you can walk there quicker then driving. Will stay again when in the area.

Traveling from Washington to California. Stopped for the night. Had a small dog with us. Found this motel on TripAdvisor. Reviews were good. I can add ours to the others. Very pleased with the room and the pleasant staff. Many places to eat within walking distance. Would stay again.

This was my third time staying here. We stay here for concerts at the Matthew Knight Arena because it's right across the street! The rooms are nice, clean and cozy! It's close to a lot of good restaurants also. We will always stay here when in Eugene!

Very nice motel, clean and comfortable. Beds very nice but to soft for my husband. Great breakfast in the morning. Location of motel was a little difficult to get back to I-5 with one way streets and no left turns.

Overall the experience was good. The potatoes at breakfast was salty. Other then that the service was good, the amenities where decent and the location was easy to access. The bed was hard on the sides but soft in the middle so it felt like you got sucked into the bed.

Good news: room was clean and bed was comfortable. Bad news: TV remote was complicated and could get no signal, bathroom glass was broken, frig was too warm then too cold (froze all my food), room smelled perfumy (bugged my allergies) and shower head was like 20 years old and dribbled or pounded me (only two choices). Water was warm enough, though. Hallway smelled like mold (or worse).

Great hotel across from University of Oregon. Rooms were clean and nicely appointed. We had a king bedded room with a fairly large television. The complimentary breakfast had lots of menu choices. There was a Starbucks two blocks away. And, the hotel was easily accessible to I-5.

We stayed overnight for holiday shopping. The property was clean and the staff was excellent. The only issue was the bed was way too soft and we did not sleep well. Great location. The prices was great!

This hotel carries a 3 star rating - but it is extremely well kept and a great place. The staff and service is great. I am members of two other national chain hotel rewards programs (that would be considered higher star properties and both of whom have location options in Eugene area). Despite that, the BW New Oregon became my go-to place to stay when I came to Eugene to visit my son the past 5 years (I have stayed here on 10 different trips for a total of approximately 40 nights). The location is great and it has all that I need for my stays. It is also a great place to stay for a Duck's football weekend.

We appreciated that this hotel allowed pets. However, with a $30 pet service charge, I expected a clean room. Instead, the upholstered chair in our room was covered in pet hair from the previous guest, it was disgusting. Also, the lighting in the room was poor, I expected to be able to use the full length mirror while the bathroom was occupied, but there was no light, so the mirror was absolutely useless.

Obviously, a converted "no-tell" motel. Breakfast was good - everything else wasn't. Bed was stiff. I stayed up half the night listening to the roar of the heating, and I couldn't use my laptop with the tv. This isn't the 20th Century any more.

Front desk was not helpful, rooms are small, decorated nice , quiet room, Beds were just Ok- not as nice as other best western, breakfast was very good and so was the coffee, but I wouldn't come back on our return drive

Check in and out was smooth, the room was clean but the bed was way past time to throw out. My husband and I had to sleep on the edge, otherwise we rolled into the center that was a good 4 inches lower than the edge. By morning both our backs hurt. Breakfast was good and hot, but no whole milk for cereal.

We always enjoy staying at the New Oregon when we come to Eugene. Love the indoor pool and hot tub, but most of all the awesome staff! They are very helpful! The breakfast is amazing for a free breakfast. We will always stay here when a room is available. Never disappointed!

This is our favorite hotel to stay while visiting our student at UO (right across the street). There is plenty of parking and the grounds are nicely kept. Check-in was quick and professional (as normal). There are places to eat within easy walking distance and a Starbucks about 3 blocks away. Breakfast is in a very nicely decorated room and the dining staff keep it very clean AND well stocked. I always try to show our appreciation by leaving a daily tip by the coffee pots. Our room was nice, but did have a slight odor which dissipated when we left the door open. Parking is plentiful (but does fill up at night). The bed was GREAT and there were plenty of towels. We did have water pipes noises and reported to maintenance. Overall another great stay in Eugene and look forward to returning in the Spring.

Older hotel but very clean and well kept. Very nice breakfast for guests. Perfect location if visiting the college. Suggest requesting a 2nd floor unit toward the back of hotel to reduce noise. Nice balcony over looking small creek with ducks.

We try to stay here everytime we visit Eugene, OR and the University of Oregon. Rooms are comfortable. Really like the rooms on the Mill Race and feeding the ducks off the balcony. The breakfasts are good and the breakfast room staff are awesome!

This hotel is so appreciated. The rate is usually quite fair for all they offer - a convenient location close to a great market and lots of good rrestaurants, caring and relaxed staff, and a wonderful pool and hot tub. I just discovered that they have a sauna too - can't wait to try it next time i stay there.

Good hotel for visiting UofO. Nothing fancy but good location especially if attending basketball or football games. Rooms are clean and showers are good. Breakfast is provided but it is nothing special just filling food. Get the rooms overlooking the creek as they are much nicer then the other rooms with sliding doors and a patio.

Stayed here for a University visit. Directly opposite from the University, didn't need to drive there, just walked across the street. Typical Best Western rooms, 2 queen beds and bathroom. Warm enough and quiet enough. Room was clean and beds were comfortable.

Wonderful place to stay in Eugene, especially if you are visiting a student at U of O. The hotel is literally across the street from the University and at the beginning of the beautiful trail leading to Autzen Stadium. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is included. It's simple but hits the spot. Prices are very reasonable. We always stay her when we in Eugene.

Pictures manage to make it look a lot better than it actually is.... extremely plain rooms, terrible breakfast, Custer Service is lacking... only pro was the comfortable bed. I don't think I'd recommend this. Only reason I kept reservation was because it was very close to U of O, where my brother is

We loved our stay at this location — the motel configuration is great. We were able to park right outside the door our room. Room was clean, well-appointed and the balcony overlooking the little creek, next to the bridge and park path, was fantastic. We watched ducks and a raccoon from the comfort of our enclosed view. Very happy with quality and amenities for the price.

My husband & I were generally pleased with the cleanliness and facilities at The Best Western in Eugene. However when I locked the bathroom door from the inside, the door stuck and I couldn't get out. Luckily, my husband was in the room and help me get out.

The room was mold ridden, the open door is too noisy, and the rest of the property isn't worth it. They should tear down and put a better hotel on the property. The location is being wasted. There must be a better option in the area.

Very close to shopping across the street from Mathew night arena. It's more of a motel than a hotel tho. Good breakfast with a large variety. Beds were very soft and decently comfortable. Hot tub and pool were nice.

If you like Ducks (the football team, not the animal), the university is right across the street. Getting to/from fast food is difficult from the hotel's location but that's not the hotel's fault. Get a creek-view room if you like ducks (the animal, not the football team). The rooms are mildly dated but overall, very usable and clean. The internet was actually really good compared to other hotels I've been to in that the streaming media has very few bandwidth issues and was very watchable. The staff is really nice and the breakfast was better than most hotels with similar that I've been to.

The front desk staff was fabulous! She was pleasant and helpful! The room both looked and smelled clean. Great value. The balcony over the creek with all the ducks was an excellent bonus! Would definitely recommend!

This is a nicely appointed, comfy place to stay close to the U of O. Clean, good beds, great coffee, and a better than average breakfast. Nice greenbelt view behind building. Close to public transportation and campus plus lots of services.

Hotel provided extra towels to clean muddy dog paws. Lots of grassy areas for dogs to sniff around. If pouring rain you can always walk the inner perimeter of the hotel which is covered and carpeted. Full breakfast is a bonus.

I've stayed here multiple times because the location is good, but doubt that I will ever go back. Breakfast was terrible. Room smelled, on both occasions that I stayed there in September, but bathroom was clean. I don't like that they upped the price $100 more a night than usual because there was a college football game going on that weekend.

Have use this place many times during the last year the staff is friendly dog friendly and close to everything that we need to do.our visits have been around medical and they are extremely convenient within a mile from most of our doctors 2 miles great restaurants right next door and down the street very friendly staff

All I have to say is everything was perfect! we really care about the cleanliness. The Location was Great close to everything we needed. the river view with the ducks was so nice, I just wish we could have stayed longer. We only stayed one night.

We stayed at the BW because it was centrally located to the areas we had planned to visit. It was clean, the bed was comfortable. Breakfasts were very good to have to start our days of travel. All of the staff that we met were friendly.

We ended up at this Best Western by accident thinking it wasn't the one across from the univerisity campus. It was that one and it was quite worn and old feeling. They did not let us know the time for Sunday continental breakfast when we got in late after shooting a wedding. Then there was no coffee in the lobby and the guy just looked at my husband trying to get some and saw it was out and didn't offer more. Worst Best Western I've ever stayed in.

This is the first time we stay in Eugene, pick this hotel by random, but was quite satisfied with the service received: hotel staff, breakfast (with pancake maker, no waffle iron though!). The back of the further building facing with a creek, lots of ducks swimming, really nice entertainment!

Overall experience was very good. BW Greentree and New Oregon are conveniently located across the street from University of Oregon and walking distance to restaurants. I have stayed there 3 times and have been satisfied with each visit.

Breakfast is typical hotel fare these days, but above standard in variety, presentation, quality. Breakfast room is spacious, no crowding or waiting for tables. Coffee was disappointing (a not uncommon experience). Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, attractive, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Usual amenities -- fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Only very minor complaint was that TV offerings are substandard, and our in-room remote worked so poorly, we just gave up. Because our time in the room was brief, we didn't bother to report the problem -- most likely the staff would have promptly replaced the remote if we had. All in all, a great stay and excellent value at the price ($88). Would definitely stay here again.

I and my two best friends booked one of the junior suites (three queen beds, one shared toilet & shower, two separate vanity/sink areas) for our girls weekend getaway and could not have been happier. The location of the property was perfect for everything we were doing that weekend and the staff was great. The location of the junior suite was even nicer as we had a large balcony overlooking the mill race which meant it was quiet/peaceful, and no traffic noise whatsoever for our room. There was a bit of a glitch in getting our three room keys to work properly but the staff was incredibly helpful, calm and very accommodating. I will book/stay here again.

The New Oregon was an excellent stay. The room we had was on a little canal water way and it was fun to watch the ducks swimming. I suppose mosquitoes could be a problem but I didn't notice any. The breakfast was good. The pool was a bit cold so didn't use it. Everything was clean and well maintained. My only problem was trying to get around on the streets of Eugene, it was hard to find this location.

The Best Western New Oregon Inn is a great hotel with excellent accommodations, internet access, breakfast, and a caring staff. I would definitely stay there again! The scrambled eggs are especially good!

I booked this hotel via Priceline Express for a non-refundable rate of $85/night. Situated across the street from the University of Oregon, its layout is primarily in a large open one-story square. Guest parking is free and most guests park in front of their exterior door; this is a typical motor hotel layout. Front desk: Not the friendliest at check-in but it got the job done after a long drive. The gal working the desk when I left was modestly friendly. Room: I was placed at the side furthest from the road, which also bordered the creek in the back. Visible from the room's window, it wasn't particularly scenic but ensured that there would not be too much noise. The neighboring rooms could be a bit boisterous but it was to be expected since there was a lot of turnover in the morning and evening hours. Due to its location, I think there are a lot of college parents staying here as well as interstate travelers making an overnight stop here. The room is large but showing its age: one queen bed with a slightly lumpy mattress, quality bed sheets but a bit thin bath towels, ample work desk, an armchair and ottoman, large flat-screen TV, microwave and mini-fridge, small closet, and a well-worn but functional bathroom. The air conditioner was quite loud: the positive is that it drowned out any chatter from passing guests but the negative is that it drowned out the TV and would make it difficult to sleep through. I pack foam earplugs so this solved the noise issue while allowing me to keep the room cool at night. Housekeeping was spectacular each day in making up my bed, taking the trash, vacuuming, and restocking the bath supplies. It was great to see them each day in the halls attending to the other rooms and I enjoyed leaving them each day's tip for a job well done. A special compliment for keeping the carpets clean – I often wear a pair of socks in the room to avoid tracking dirt into bed and the socks were largely clean at the end of the visit. Maintenance staff was also seen moving with energy through the property. Free breakfast: I like the fact that guests have to use their key card to enter the building with the breakfast area. The breakfast was a standard buffet: cereals, milk, juice, coffee, yogurt, eggs, meats, and waffles were all present. The highlight was one staff member who carefully tended to replenishing and tidying up; she also cheerfully answered guest requests. I made a point of handing her a tip to acknowledge that a great attitude should be rewarded – I wish I got her name! Overall, this motor hotel is a good value for a short stay in the cute college town of Eugene. If you want luxury, you'll need to find another place. Visitors could easily be happy with this property, whether due to a visit to U of O or exploring the local area. Unfortunately our room had a terrible odor. The front desk manager tried to help by spraying a fresher in our room which helped a little bit. We were very disappointed. We will not be staying at the Best Western New Oregon again.

Our room was in the older part of the hotel - 1st floor - with access into the room straight from the parking lot. I didn't realize that would be the case when I booked based on the photos - with a little kiddo, I wasn't too crazy about that set-up, but thankfully we had two adults to monitor things. The room was clean but smelled a bit musty, and the A/C was hard to adjust to be "just right" as it's a window unit . The hotel breakfast buffet was fine (hot food, cereals, pastries, etc.) and the pool with hot tub was better than anticipated.

If you are looking for a hotel close to the University of Oregon, you plan to stay 1 night, and you aren't too concerned about the quality of the room, this may be a good hotel for you. We, however, were in town for an 8 day stay, and were looking for a place that would make a comfortable place to spend our evenings. The New Oregon Best Western is not that place. We had a King room with a Balcony view. The room was OK in size - not big, but not tiny. The only comfortable chair was placed directly in front of the air conditioning unit, so it was freezing to sit there and it also prevented the cool air from effectively getting to the rest of the room. We ended up moving the chair to the other side of the room. The A/C unit was also very very loud, and didn't cool effectively so it was continually on, which was quite annoying at night. There was no screen in the sliding glass door, so we couldn't take advantage of the lovely, cool night and let some fresh air into the room. There are a microwave and cube fridge, but the fridge is at floor level, so you have to get on your hands and knees to get to it. It also didn't cool very well The room itself was very dark, both in decor (deep brown furniture and dark beige/brown striped carpet) and dim light bulbs. There is also no night light in the room. This all contributed to my very tired (but sober!) husband breaking his toe during the middle of the night when he got up to use the bathroom. Then, the toilet backed up. They came very quickly, but wanted to just hand us the plunger. By this time I was fed up, and I told them that they needed to fix their own toilet... And that was enough - we left the hotel after only 2 nights and moved to the La Quinta; it's farther from the University, but infinitely nicer. On the plus side, the shower at the New Oregon had great flow and plenty of hot water. The bed was on the hard side, which I like, and was comfortable The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was good. We didn't use the pool or gym, so I can't speak to those amenities.

We stayed here for a college visit for my son. First off, the location is directly across from the University of Oregon, couldn't be a better location for the tour. Hotel was clean, fairly basic rooms, and somewhat cozy....but this is what to expect and wasn't an issue. We stay at some BW properties when we are road trips, as they are a good choice outside of the larger chains. They are clean and dependable, and staff was great. We would stay here again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and breakfast was hot and very good. Hotel was easy to find and to get in and out of. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. Price was reasonable and easy to check in and out.

Overall hotel was nice. There was an error with the hotel being overbooked and my room being given away, but it was rectified (not handled how I would have preferred, but corrected). Everything was clean and tidy. Beds overly soft, but pillows great. Clean bathroom and shower. Did not get a chance to check out the breakfast, but continental breakfast is included.

Hotel is directly across from Univ. of Oregon campus. Easy walk to campus and restaurants. Nice rooms, very friendly staff. There was plenty of parking, free wifi that worked well, quiet, clean, comfortable beds. If I am in Eugene again I will definitely stay at Best Western New Oregon.

I would recommend a stay here anytime. The room was neat and had a very professional cleaning done (great job to the cleaning staff)! And the breakfast was WAY better than an equal option at a similar hotel offering coffee and donuts...yuk! This place is very clean and the food was excellent! And the staff are great to the customers!

Spent one night in New Oregon Best Western. Bed was lumply, Wife complained that she was being bitten by bugs, and the room had a musty smell. Checked out the pool, it looked uninviting and we didn't go in. Cheap hotel. Not a pleasant one night stay.

This is an outstanding hotel. The room was super clan and ready when I arrived. The only problem was I had reserved a room by the river but I ended on the inside. Didn't complain so it's my fault. They could have checked my reservation. I do however recommend this motel because the staff is super. The have made lots of improvements with breakfast. The rooms are super and I Gus's that is one reason I didn't complain about the room mix up. Stay here it is worth the pay and acrostic the street from the mighty ducks

Location is perfect, service staff was great, breakfast was lovely, but room 173 is a nightmare. Accessible only through a back entrance off someone else's private (and locked) residential driveway, 173 is located in the sub-basement of the BW. Spiders drop from the ceilings. Plumbing is questionable. The ceilings are barely 6 feet high. There is no way off the property except to climb through a cavernous staircase and through a slalom of doors. One requires a room key to get back into civilization by accessing a rear fire door. My advice to hotel management is to lock up room 173 and throw away the key. Leave it for the spiders, they seem to own the space anyway. But again, pleasant staff, great location, decent breakfast.

If you are traveling to the University of Oregon this is the place to stay. It is located directly across the street from the school. The staff are pleasant and helpful. There are great restaurants in walking distance along with a market and convenient store.
