Best Western Plus Wooster Hotel & Conference Center

Clean, quiet hotel. Very friendly, helpful staff that makes you feel comfortable staying at their establishment. Breakfast was great, coffee excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that is visiting anywhere close to Wooster, OH.

I travel a lot for work and frequently stay at family-run nicer hotels. This hotel is on par. The public spaces are nicely decorated with a mid-20th century vibe. Vitrified brick floors, exposed stone walls, and a cozy little lobby bar directly adjacent to a browsing library with work spaces. The rooms are well maintained, clean, and have good linens. The breakfast is hot and fresh. The location is walking distance to many shops and restaurants, and less than a mile from the CoW campus. Stay here. You'll like it.

Great amenities and friendly staff! I utilized the fitness center, which suited my needs and the breakfast was excellent. Also, this hotel has the most friendly, caring and helpful staff to make sure you have a good experience while visiting.

The rooms are always clean and the lobby is beautiful with an amazing fresh clean fragrance. The staff are courteous and consistent you always see the same great people. They go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The rewards program is also an amazing incentive to stay with them.

The Best Western Plus hotel in Wooster is a real gem. It is clean and has very good staff. Whenever I visit the area I stay at this hotel. The convenience is fantastic. I normally meet my friends in the evening at the Wooster Brewery, just a couple of blocks away. There are several very good restaurants within a couple of blocks from the hotel. The area is well lit and seems to be very safe. Lots of parking is available and it is convenient to the highway without traffic noise.

The entire staff at this hotel could not have been more accommodating! My check-in after a long day was made very easy and pleasant and the GM the next day had accommodated some changes to our meeting at the last minute for us, and the front desk staff and breakfast staff people were always smiling and pleasant!

We love everything about this hotel! It's an older building, but that just gives it a little character. It's warm and inviting, not like an institution. The receptionist and breakfast host are so friendly and welcoming every time. I feel like we are home when we walk in. The location in downtown Wooster in convenient walking distance to the distillery, brewery, coffee shop, restaurants and bars among many other little shops. We awoke to the smell of bacon in the morning. Along with the usual breakfasts goodies, warm and cold, I love the vitamin water! We can't wait to return.

My wife and I use hotels that have a breakfast. This hotel had the best breakfast hands down. Both women who handled the breakfast bar for our stay were wonderful and courteous. The dining room was clean.

Very nice hotel. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Cafeteria attendant was exceptional and the hotel manager was a wealth of information. Room was clean and sanitized. Many nice restaurants nearby as well as the Wayne County fairgrounds. We will stay here again.

There are more picturesque and/or glamorous places to stay in town, but not in this price range. Yes, it's a motel, and not the newest, but it's well-maintained, clean, and the staff are terrific. We have been coming to Wooster for many years to attend the Ohio Light Opera each summer. We've tried many different hotels and bed & breakfasts in town, but we always seem to return to the Best Western.

We have stayed at this hotel for a dozen years during annual vacations with friends. Extraordinary value for money, a great location, and the friendliest and most helpful service from staff. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Great amenities!

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much. It's an older building and pretty non descript on the exterior. I was so pleasantly surprised when we went in. This place has been beautifully maintained. It's spacious and very clean. The staff was so friendly. We were with a large group and they accommodated every request. The breakfast is really nice with a large selection. The pool area is private and clean. If you are staying in the area, you can't beat this hotel!

Staff was extremely considerate. Great place to host meetings! Had staff across the eastern United States that mentioned how pleasant all the staff was. Not only the sleeping rooms were good, but the meeting rooms were all set up and can accommodate from small groups to large groups. Excellent location for conferences.

This is the second time we stayed at the best Western in Wooster, Ohio. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and had microwaves and refrigerators. A variety of items were offered for the breakfast. The staff was courteous And helpful to this group of two couples who are over 65.

Cleanest hotel. Friendly staff. Located to the cutest downtown area. Able to enjoy everything within a walking distance. New restaurant opened pretty much next door. Called Mariola Italian. Great food, AMAZING PIZZA!+

The rooms are very large and very well appointed and clean. The Bed was very comfortable. The Hotel staff very accommodating and we were pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel was. Will definitely stay here again.

Stayed one night for a quick business trip. The lobby area smelled fresh and clean. The rooms were very spacious and offered a lot of amenities. The hotel was in walking distance of many restaurants and a convenience store. We will choose this hotel again in the future!

As a well-traveled person who has been around the world, I have certain expectations of certain hotel chains. Normally I would not stay at a Best Western because they generally do not offer everything I appreciate and look for in a hotel, even for just one night. This Best Western was a very pleasant surprise. It in no way presented like a motel - the lobby was generous and warm, very inviting with Christmas tastefully decorating every corner. The front desk gal, Kathy, did it all - answered phones, checked people in, and stepped in to play bartender too. I couldn't give a higher rating because as nice as the lobby and staff were, the rooms had paper-thin walls, and unfortunately, we heard way more of our neighbor's TV show than we would have liked, and we heard her 3 a.m. bath beginning to end. Wooster is a surprisingly lovely little town - very safe and quaint. Check it out if you have a chance. It was also my understanding that this is the hotel of choice if you are visiting the college.

Staff was very friendly, personable and accommodating. Nothing fancy or new, but maintained, comfortable and clean. Small bar and breakfast on site. Perfect location for walking “downtown” Wooster, and enjoying the restaurants and stores.

This hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of great food and stuff to buy. It is also very close to the Amish country and makes a great starting point for a day there. We were very happy with the breakfast, which also had GF options available (upon request).

We were in town for an event with friends. Hotel offered a block of rooms at an excellent price. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and breakfast was great! A lovely surprise for a hotel in a smaller town.

Wonderful hotel in Downtown Wooster. Walking distance to many great restaurants and shops. Staff goes above and beyond in all departments to give excellent service. Free hot breakfast was delicious and we appreciated the choice of gluten free items that was available. The entire place was immaculately clean and we felt comfortable with the Covid precautions in place. The beds were incredibly comfortable and we all slept great! Highly recommend staying here if you are going to Wooster

I've stayed at numerous hotels while doing a 2 day delivery route and have found this place to be the best by far. Check in, peaceful sleep and a great breakfast are but a few excellent features not to mention the low price.

Take the extra minute or two to get to this hotel while driving on Route 30. You won't be disappointed. besides a wonderfule staff and a clean hotel, there is the benefit of quality, local restaurants and even a brewery within a few short blocks. You may be fortunate to even be there during a local event that is only a few blocks away. Don't worry, there is plenty of parking.

This is a great hotel within easy walking distance to downtown Wooster's town square and several restaurants. The hotel staff are great - front desk, housekeeping, breakfast. They have a good breakfast and also have onsite laundry facilities.

First time at Best Western Plus in Wooster, Ohio. Stayed there one night while attending Ohio Light Opera. Can't say enough about the friendly accommodating staff. Caroline at the reception desk assisted us check in and was great, so customer service oriented. Later when we asked if she had a deck of cards so we could entertain ourselves in the lobby before calling it a night, she looked for five minutes, refusing to give up, and finally found them. She then graciously served us a beverage from the bar. She truly seemed to like her job and helping the guests have the best experience at the hotel. Our room on the third floor was super clean. Add the convenient location to downtown Wooster and you can't beat this place. We will definitely return.

We stayed here for 2 nights and the hotel was very clean . No problems with anything except the bathroom. My husband took a horrible fall getting into the shower which we ended up spending half our day in urgent care. He dislocated his finger and after several hours they told us to take him to our emergency room 3 hours away. The hotel definitely needs to address this issue by installing more hand rails

It was an excellent experience wasn't disappointed by anything!! Breakfast was great!! I really enjoyed talked to the server I wish I would've gotten her name!! She was really friendly and caring!! My stay was great!

This was a very nice hotel. Close to many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They also have a nice outdoor pool. A hot breakfast with many options is also provided.

Painted doors in hallways around 7 pm to 9 pm. Smelled like paint thinner and paint the entire evening. Daughter and I got a headache from it. Complained to two people. Did not seem concerned. Told them again at check out and again did not seem concerned.

The rooms were maintained nicely including the bathroom where at a lot of other hotel chains we see a lot of water damage and such things that aren't take care of. this place did a great job! Beds are very comfortable and the room was clean

Great place to stay. A group of guys I ride motorcycles with go to Wooster and stay here multiple times per year. Not just the good roads in this area, this hotel is in a great location near a lot of great restaurants and the staff treats us like kings.

Was here for a family wedding. The room size was average for a double queen, but the room was immaculate. Breakfast buffet was definitely above average. Best selection I've ever seen for a free breakfast and food was fresh and continually refilled. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful.

We have stayed here multiple times in the 4 years our daughter was at The College of Wooster. Every time has been a great experience. The hotel is always immaculate and even more so during the Covid pandemic. The hotel is convenient to the college and is located downtown within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The breakfast is above what we have come to expect from other Best Westerns.

This Best Western is one of the best hotels that I have stayed at. Anytime I come to Wooster I will be staying there. This hotel is in a great location. You have plenty of places to eat and explore within walking distance.

We were in town to visit Wooster and were delighted by this hotel. The free breakfast was above and beyond what we have been used to (on the East Coast anyway) with a large selection and hot items as well (bacon!). The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The beds were super comfy and very soft. I have a bad back but the beds did not bother it at all. The heater was a nice quiet heater, which is very important to me. It did not kick on and off and wake me up. It was mid week so I don't know about the noise factor if the hotel had been full, but it was quiet for us. The black out curtains were appreciated. The room was spotless, plus not a smidge of mold or anything on the caulk in the bathroom, which seems to be unusual these days. We liked the extra toiletries, esp the makeup remover, how thoughtful. I was pleasantly surprised with our entire experience.

The Wooster BW is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The hotel is within walking distance of several restaurants, a Speedway gas station, a liquor store, and some retail stores. Plus, a drive around town and you can find just about any food you want, even home-cooked from the local cafe. We went to one of the largest and best antique stores (Timeless Treasures) that I've ever shopped at.

Prior to our arrival I received a call from the hotel gm to confirm because I had multiple rooms and they were sold out. Upon arrival they were fun professional and accommodating for everything we needed. I go to this area 1x a year but I always stay here. Hotel is clean and we never have issues staying here

Our room was very nice, staff even made sure we had enough towels for the couple of days being there. Rooms were clean but could definitely hear next room thru adjoining door. Breakfast was wonderful. Gracious staff with waffle maker, cereal, bacon, eggs. Pretty much anything you needed. Would stay again if ever in town.

The rooms are quiet, clean, well stocked and roomy. The staff will get you anything you need and cap it with a thank you and a nice smile. The breakfast menu is top notch also. Don't bother shopping around. I've never been disappointed here.

We stayed at this hotel with our hockey team, and they were wonderful and accommodating. As the Team Manager, we would have hotels just flat out say they will not let hockey teams stay and turn us away throughout the season. This hotel was not only willing to take us but went above and beyond for us. They opened breakfast early for our kids that had to get to a 7 am game. They maned the bar for the parents that wanted to hand out and socialize in the lobby/bar. By the end of the night, we knew so many details about the manager that we all felt like we were now friends. The manager even called to get us into restaurants that turned us away due to the size of our group. The hotel itself is a little old/dated, but the rooms were nice and somewhat updated, and very clean. The cleaning staff was friendly and always said hi when passing in the halls.

Fun weekend with my wife for her birthday. Check in had a little bit of a hiccup as I was using a Best Western gift card and they were not sure how to use it, but they checked us in and had it figured out by the time we checked out. Room was clean and everything was good. We will stay here again.

We were running the party which was a fundraiser for the Holmes County Humane Society. We got started late in the year to get this together. Teresa and Steve along with all their staff were fantastic to work with. Not only did they assist us at every turn in the planning process and coverage for employees to be there, but they were fun enough to stay and have fun with us. We will certainly be going back to stay and also will be holding "The Bash" here for all future events.

Stayed here for one night on the way back home. Brought in a group of 50 guests and overall they were pleased with their rooms. Nothing spectacular BUT we were in Wooster OH! Still not sure why we stayed in Wooster versus a hotel closer to the highway, but that is the decision of the group leader. I simply drive the group!

Good, clean hotel. Quite neighborhood. Decent breakfast and very helpful staff. Not the most economical price wise as most Ohio Best Westerns are less costly. Lobby bar isn't much - just a few seats and a locked liquor cabinet. However, many good choices for eating and drinking are in easy walking distance.

Hotel was very clean and well decorated. Staff went out of their way to please quests. Observed employee go across street to buy whole milk for guest who requested whole milk instead of 2% milk even after the guest said 2% was fine with him. Hotel was great location. Many nice restaurants and boutiques within easy walk.

Best Western Plus is a must if you are planning a stay anywhere near Wooster, Ohio!! Very friendly and helpful staff, clean quiet rooms!! You will regret NOT staying at this wonderful hotel In such a lovely town!!

We had a wonderful night's stay here. We were visiting family in town, so didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel, but it was lovely from start to finish. Our family warned us that the BW had had a bad reputation in the past, but obviously it had been renovated head-to-toe, and possibly new ownership?? The room was very clean & sealed, comfortable mattress & pillows, clean sheets & towels & floors, adequate lighting & nice workspace. I was having some hip pain at check-in, and the 2 desk staff were very kind, friendly & helpful. Beautiful multi-level lobby, with an enclosed breakfast room, and separate bar on the upper level. Nice library off to the side of the bar.

From check-in to check-out, no minor detail is left untended to! Fabulous, endless options for Breakfast, hot coffee in lobby all day and night, staff unbelievably helpful - nothing is left untended to. Fresh towels brought to your room door, breakfast buffet never lacking in unbelievable hot/cold/wrapped choices. A must stay if in the area!

Great place to stay - but this hotel is really old and dated. The hotel staff, however, were very nice. The sinks in the room drain VERY slowly. And the elevator - that is another story. Old and small is an understatement. Too bad. This staff - but in a newer more modern faculty, would be a good combination.

I got a king room, Saturday Oct. 2nd, 2021. Third floor, end of hallway, rm. 301. Comfy bed, quiet room on a weekend with noise possibilities, ( weddings, street carnival, rattletrap noisemakers motorcycles) didn't phase me here. And I got to bed early, 11.00 PM. A rainy night chased me inside, to stay . The Best Western is the closest place to flop to the downtown square, which Is why I stay here. I've been here 3 times now for the downtown festivities. Maybe it costs a little more. The room faces the corner of Bever and Liberty. City square is about 2 or 3 blocks away, The next morning I hit the breakfast buffet complimentary to guests around 731 AM. There were lots of people there already, and I have to say a real special thank you to the lady who was on the job there, taking care of everyone, all the food and coffee and cleaning tables. She was so bright and cheerful and friendly first thing in the morning on a Sunday. I was very impressed and surprised. Thank you! Just one comment about the bathroom. The tub and shower could use some additional hand rails to grab on to for us older folks. There was just one and I hung on for dear life, I'm serious. Why not just put a rail in the rear of the shower? The shower curtain bar is an accident waiting to happen. I'll probably stay here again. Fritomann

We stayed one night while traveling to the Amish Country in Ohio. The Best Western is located in downtown Wooster which is larger than I expected. Woosterfest, an Octoberfest celebration located in downtown Wooster occurred the weekend we stayed at the hotel and provided an evening of food & entertainment. The parking lot is large & well lighted. The breakfast area was large & clean with plenty of choices. The hotel staff was very friendly & helpful. We would definitely recommend this Best Western.

With a fair in town, a college football game, and a festival 20 minutes away, I was still able to get a room and reserve my next stays. The staff go above and beyond to accommodate every need and request.

Faculty is top notch and the device was absolutely by far best me and wife ever experienced I would go out of my way next time for another best western in any state we travel to but Wooster has my vote everytime

Rooms are clean, breakfast is good, and the service is good. We enjoy the bar in the lobby and talking with the front desk staff while sitting there. Everyone is very friendly. We stay here every time we visit family in Wooster.

This is the best of the Best Western chain. The hotel is always immaculate. During the worst of the pandemic we felt comfortable staying here. The staff is friendly and helpful. The general manager was onsite and visible--even helping in the breakfast area and greeting guests. Helen at the front desk has always helped us with reservations, changes and anything else we need. It is convenient to the college. Wouldn't stay anywhere else!

This is an older facility, not necessarily in desperate need of updates, but still dated. Everything in the room was in good working order. The staff could not have been friendlier or more eager to be helpful. Everyone who worked there appeared to be very happy about it. There was a full breakfast including 2 kinds of eggs, sausage, waffles, and a large variety of standard/cold items.

I'll be back again when I need a venue for a meeting, wedding or party. The staff is superior and can rise to any challenge. The location is right in the middle of downtown Wooster within walking distance of great dining and some shopping. The rooms are clean and reasonable. The price is right!

One of the best service oriented hotels I have been to in a long time. Their goal is to provide consistent and quality service. When an issue would arise they immediately went into a problem solving mode to make that issue go away. Very responsive and customer oriented approach to doing business. GM Geresa Bright Wengerd and receptionist Helen couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating.

Everything was great at the Best Western Plus in Wooster, OH. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It looks like the hotel and rooms have been renovated in the not too distant past. The room was clean, beds comfortable, and we had a microwave and small refrigerator in the room. The only minus was the shower curtain that would soak through and get the floor wet.

I had a 2 night stay here and was blown away by the quality of this hotel in a small little town like Wooster. This hotel has all the appearances of a higher end hotel yet is priced very moderately. The lobby area is warm and inviting. It is large and spacious with a big seating area, rich appointments, and a big breakfast area with nice tables. Service was very friendly and welcoming on check-in. Heading to my room exposed me to possibly the only downside of the hotel - and that is the tiny, slow, creaky elevator. If someone has a luggage cart in there nobody else will fit. So be prepared for a wait to use the elevator. The room was wonderful. Perfectly clean and spacious. Furnishings are on the older, stuffier side but that's a personal preference. I had everything I needed with individual soaps and such. Housekeeping is still on Covid restrictions so you can choose either no housekeeping or have them leave fresh towels for you on your door in the morning. I chose no housekeeping. I can't comment on the breakfast as I didn't have time in the morning to stop and enjoy it. It smelled wonderful though as I made my way past it. All the staff I met was friendly and happy. A wedding party was there Saturday night but there was no noise or issues from the guests staying there. They had a little chapel area set up for the wedding itself which looked really sweet. If I get to this area again this would certainly be my hotel of choice.

Every employee is great. They all are friendly, kind, and truly care about the guests! Lobby coffee is great! Breakfast outstanding! Rooms were very clean and new towels were left each day! Elevator 2 stars :)

We are doing a cross country bike ride. On day 40 we stayed at the best western plus in Wooster. From the minute we got there we could tell this hotel would be different. They heoed us fed exp stuff home, they helped us set up sports messages and they did it all just over hearing us talk about what we needed to get accomplishes. Theses and her staff went we above and beyond for us. If you are going to be in the area stay here. Also the town was great. Walkable with great resturants. We did not expect a lot when we rolled into town. We left amazed.

Our softball team reserved a block at the Best Western for the infamous Fire in the Sky tournament in Orville. I must admit that I had my reservations as I have had several bad experiences at other Best Western locations. I was so pleasantly surprised by this particular hotel! Hands down, it was the nicest Best Western I have ever walked into. The lobby was clean and very welcoming with plenty of seating. The breakfast was wonderful! I really can appreciate a great hotel breakfast now that Covid has been around. Every other hotel we have been to this year has been pre-packaged grab and go and terribly unsatisfying. Our rooms were clean. The staff was terrific and every day after returning, there was a bag of fresh towels and washcloths hanging on our door. Can't beat that! Swimming pool area had more than enough lounge chairs and there was a gazebo with seating outside. The location was very centrally located to all the fields that we played at so I am very confident that I would book this hotel again!

Hotel is nice enough and Teresa, the general manager, has the staff really on their game. In particular, Shon, the gentleman who manages the breakfast area, is one of the genuinely nicest and cheerful people I have met especially at a breakfast area. Even if you wake up on the wrong side of the bed, he will turn that around. BW - he's a keeper so treat him right and let him grow with your franchise! Thanks Shon!

This was such a nice clean hotel! The rooms were very clean they gave us options on house cleaning versus getting towels on the door during this Covid time. Breakfast was incredible with options for everyone! We really could not have asked for a nicer place and the price was very reasonable!

Great centralized location in town (not right off a highway), easy parking. Very impressive western feel to the expansive lobby for a small city hotel. Staff at desk were very accommodating and staff at breakfast were all very friendly. Bed linens were so clean and comfortable, as were mattress and pillow; so good in fact I asked to purchase the pillows that are made exclusively for BW Hotels. Value was great.

This was our go to hotel for four years when our daughter was a student at COW. She was class of 2021, so we likely will not have a need to be there as often now, but the hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, breakfast is very good, it is within walking distance to the campus as well as downtown shops/restaurants, and it is reasonably priced.

I travel for a contractor of the US Census. So ease of check in and attention to detail from the staff is very important when staying at a hotel. They were wonderful!!! Mgr was very attentive but not to much.

The Wooster Best Western has consistently been clean and great service. The breakfast is delicious (those biscuits!) and the workout facility has equiptment that doesn't allow for any excuses not to fit a workout in during your stay. The recent remodel left the vintage blue brick floor that makes the hotel less industrial.

The entire front desk staff was the most friendly I can remember at a hotel and was always looking for what they could do to help. The hotel was very quiet and in these COVID times felt very safe. I normally stay at upscale business hotels but will happily stay here again when in Wooster.

This hotel was one of the best hotels I've stayed. Located downtown made it great for walking to stores and restaurants. Nice breakfast, with staff serving us and making our waffles due to COVID instead of not offering breakfast like other hotels. Nice little bar too.

Best Western Plus Wooster Hotel has the most amazing staff, they always go out of their way to make me feel welcome and to meet all my needs. Over the last year I have gotten to know a few staff by name and look forward to seeing them when I come to Wooster Ohio to visit my son, who attends college there.

Very nice hotel right in the middle of Wooster. Friendly staff and very clean property. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping and brewery's. The rooms were well maintained and COVID Cleaning Protocols were evident everywhere.

The staff at Best Western Wooster is all around. They go out of their way to make you satisfied with any concern you have. Just ask a question and they take care of it for you even to the point of different grades of pillows.

The location of this property is perfect for our shopping needs, and the staff here is great about working with us to make things as easy as possible. Strange as it seems, it's amazing how often we run into a hotel with lousy or limited luggage carts. Here, there are 3 large ones and all in good order. It makes a difference when we are loading in and out.

Excellent stay. Comfortable bed, and the room is a good size. Had an issue with a wedding party being obnoxious in the hallway and in their rooms at 2 am, but the hotel staff took care of it quickly. A note to corporate - start building your hotel rooms with more quieting insulation or something similar to take some of the "outside" sound away. Good water pressure and shower head that is above my 6' 2" frame. Breakfast was provided by the staff who got the food for you. Well worth a stay!

Very nice building, I appreciated the safety measures taken for COVID, and the staff was very friendly and nice. All smiles! I friends like to take all kinds of pictures, and without even asking, the front desk staff walked over to us and asked if we wanted them to take the pictures for us! Talk about hospitality and great service!!

From making the reservation to checking out, Best Western Wooster Hotel is the best. We stayed two nights, and there was absolutely nothing we needed; they provided it all! Very clean accommodations, excellent beds, very good breakfast, and polite employees who assisted us with suggestions on things to do. The decor was exceptional, and we wandered the main area, admiring the art on the walls. Close enough to visit Holmes County while my husband was at the fire training facility in Apple Creek. This place is top notch!

Above and beyond my expectations! Great hotel, great value, great staff! Rooms were very clean, hotel was much nicer than expected for the price paid. Will use this hotel every year when we visit Wooster for our Biker Sunday event.

Excellent stay. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to help me with making copies of a legal sized document I needed for my work. They served a hot breakfast and had good practices to prevent the spread of any potential covid-19.

We really appreciated our stay at the Best western. The staff was very nice and helpful. The lady who checked us in helped us with restaurants in the area. We had a wonderful hot breakfast with eggs and bacon, yogurt, fruit, juice and coffee. The man taking care of breakfast was very attentive.

Had to go to Wooster, OH on business and my wife came along. We were greeted warmly at check in. The hotel appears to be an older property from the outside, however the lobby, breakfast area and rooms (at least ours) have been nicely and tastefully remodeled. The elevator gives away the age of the property although we had no problems with it. Our room was clean, odor free (NO smoke smell as a few reviewers smelled) and nicely decorated. The linens on the bed and pillows were very nice. The carpet looks new. The bathroom was very nice with some sort of a fog free mirror. This is nice because the sink is not separate from the bathroom as a lot of newer hotels have it set up and allows 2 people to get ready at the same time. Tub and shower head were nice, easy to operate and properly functioned. If I had to pick a nit it would be the TV. It was a good size flat screen LG, but it had a washed out picture on every channel and operated on a QAM tuning system, which I had no trouble with , but could see a less technically proficient person having difficulty. Breakfast was above average for this price point with several hot items including scrambled eggs, sausage and biscuits and gravy. Coffee was a bit of a bit of a disappointment coming from a coffee machine. I prefer brewed (I know I'm nitpicking). I noted in my review that the hotel sent me that I would have liked coffee in the evening. They advised me it was at the front desk, I just missed it. Wall Street Journal in the lobby, very nice touch! Overall a great stay, very comfortable and clean with a decent breakfast. Can't ask for more at this price.

This was one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at. The entire hotel was immaculate and smelled very fresh. Breakfast was great. More TV channels than you will ever need. We stayed an extra day due to the weather and got to watch more movies than normal.

Can't recommend this hotel enough. The accommodations are great, it is very clean, the breakfast is wonderful, and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Love staying here. It is also close to so many neat restaurants, attractions, and great medical facilities. Wouldn't stay anywhere else while in Wooster. The staff, especially, makes your stay wonderful.

This hotel is very nice, quiet, and pretty much within walking distance of many things in downtown Wooster. I really enjoyed walking around this little town and being able to do it all on foot. The hotel staff were friendly and I enjoyed my stay. The king size bed and pillows were one of the most relaxing and comfortable that I've had in years! Thank you.

First of all Wooster is a quaint little city with many cool things to see, and it does have several places to choose from for lodging. That being said, we absolutely love this Best Western. This is more than a great place to stay!! I would recommend the Best Western - Wooster to any party, whether you are on business alone, just wanting an intimate place to go or with your entire family. There are so many places within walking distance for great meals or even a just a beverage. The location is perfect. There is free parking too! I have never experience such nice AND helpful front desk employees. They were helpful for check-in, check-out and during the visit. They gave recommendations for restaurants and entertainment. The fitness center was great and the lobby is very inviting and comfortable for one or for a whole group.The hotel breakfast has several choices, both hot and cold. There is plenty of seating and the Wall Street Journal was even available to read. I have stayed at this hotel on two different occasions and when I return to Wooster, I would definitely stay at this Best Western.

This is a typical Best Western, middle of the road experience. We stay here frequently because of the convenience and price. Staff is friendly, breakfast ok, rooms comfortable and clean. The town of Wooster is cute, the food in town is improving.

Everything was perfect and ready when I checked in. Took only a few minutes. Had a few cocktails at the bar and several other patrons joined me. The room was excellent, comfortable and clean. This hotel is convenient to all Wooster has to offer.

Visited Wooster to attend a friend's wedding - 90% of the hotel was booked for a different wedding party, and the staff took it in stride; everything about my experience was pleasant & flawless. And it has the best hotel breakfast!

This was my second visit to the Best Western here in Wooster. The location is very close to everything downtown, and there is plenty of parking in the lot just behind. I left my car and walked every where. The whole experience was very pleasant starting with check in. My room was on the 3rd floor as I requested, a king room, very nicely decorated and fresh. I see that someone must have read my previous review and modified the bathtubs with non slip bottoms. I really appreciated that improvement. Of course there are other places to stay, in or near Wooster that are cheaper, or fancier or whatever but for me, the Best Western is where I will stay as long as they keep up the good work.

The is hotel location is perfect and they cater to motorcyclists. Not only do they let you park under cover, every morning there was a towel on the bike to wipe it down, what service. We were always met with a friendly smile and and greeting. I will make many trips to this hotel

Best Western has become my hotel brand of choice, and this hotel in downtown Wooster was no exception. The property is relatively recently renovated (smartly, with easy-to-clean fixtures and surfaces without losing a comfortable, feel). Our room was very clean, the lobby was pleasant (with a wall of books!), and breakfast was satisfying. Was pleased to have the option of ceramic mugs and glass glasses in the room (instead of plastic or styrofoam). If my daughter chooses College of Wooster, we will definitely choose this hotel again for our visits.

This was a nice hotel. When we arrive it smells so great inside this place. Everyone at the front desk was very nice. The room was comfortable, and the room was nice. The only flaws with the hotel are that it's a little older and needs to be updated. Other than that it was a nice hotel.

We stayed at the Best Western Wooster Hotel on a visit for several Ohio Light Opera performances and to visit the nearby Amish country in Holmes County (about a half hour away). The hotel is at the edge of Downtown Wooster, so it's convenient to the shops there and many good restaurants. There is free parking in back, which we appreciated as it was easy to reach all of downtown. The OLO is almost exactly a mile up the street. In some cases we might walk, but it was very got during our visit so we drove, which was easy given the convenient parking at both locations. We had one of the larger rooms, which was obviously made from two smaller rooms from a circa 1980 building. The furnishings were nice, with lots of wood and granite. Truthfully, I think most guests would be perfectly happy with the smaller rooms. The checkin was quick and easy. Breakfast was a nice amenity and an easy way to start the day before sightseeing or going to shows.

We stayed at the Wooster Best Western for four nights to attend the Ohio Light Opera Festival. The double room was spacious and kept clean throughout the stay. The air conditioning was easy to regulate and kept the room comfortably cool during 80 degree temps outside. The room was well- equipped with coffe-making items, ironing board & iron, hair dryer, wifi and plenty of lighting. A tub mat was available upon request but there were no grab bars in the tub shower. There was no safe in the room but the front desk staff accepted items for safekeeping. The breakfast was very generous and included hot and cold items served in an attractive breakfast room by a friendly staff. A small bar was available in the lobby.

Because of an out-of-town medical emergency, we checked into the Wooster Best Western at 4:30AM. Helen Gregory and her staff went more than the extra mile to meet our needs. The following morning, we noticed that Ms. Gregory treated all guests with kindness and flair, greeting many of them individually at breakfast. Typically, we do not stay at Best Westerns, but this hotel may have changed our minds.

I always appreciate the hotels that show appreciation for the military -plus it makes the price more appealing! The Best Western Wooster was close to everywhere we were going, clean, very personable staff, and an outstanding breakfast!

I would definitely stay at this Best Western Hotel again. The location is awesome. It is near shops, restaurants and is only a small walk to Wooster College. We were particularly impressed with the Hungarian bakery two blocks away. It had authentic pastries and food at reasonable prices

The hotel was 20 plus miles from our event but so worth it. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable and I love the quaint feel from the paintings of amish country to the atmosphere of the lobby and eating area. One of the few hotels I have stayed at where the actual lobby felt as though it was itself a place to congregate and enjoy the company of others...so remisnescent of how I remember life when I was a kid. Quiet, clean, and just great. Breakfast was awesome. We came for a music festival but are already planning out return to spend a weekend in amish country and check out some of the history and many unique food places in Wooster. You all do a service to your community there! Thank you!!

By far this is the nicest and cleanest Best Western I have ever stayed in. Staff are very friendly. My room was very large and comfortable and had a fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. This should be a BW Plus. I will definitely stay here again when in Wooster.

We visited with some of our motorcycle group friends for 2 nights. We had 8 bikes to line up which they told us to park right outside the l ok boy window. That boosts any motorcycle owners sense of security. This place was clean, smelled fresh, and the bed was very comfortable. We had great service all around! The breakfast was one of the best offered in a hotel setting. The location was excellent for our rides, and its east to find.

The staff was friendly. The morning breakfast was outstanding. The choses and quality was one of the best I have had at any hotel offering a morning get together. It was even better then going to a say Bob Evans, or some fast food place for morning meal. This was a very nice place to stay.

When checking in the supposed general manager was behind the desk crying about all she had to do and how she was the only one who does anything correctly. What a pathetic person she must be to work under. The mid day woman working the front desk was fine. The hotel itself was cheaply decorated with furnishings that looked newer but was already falling apart because of its below standard quality. Definitely not of the Best Western standards I am accustomed to.

This is in an older property and needs some updating but it's still in good shape. The front lobby is nice and it was clean, the restaurant for breakfast was clean, breakfast was light but the coffee was great ! I will stay again!

Very friendly staff and went over and beyond making our 2 week stay comfortable and supportive of getting my son's dialysis equipment and supplies into our suite and adjoining room. Hotel is very central to good restaurants and easy access to the all areas. Highly recommend this hotel for your stay.

My family recently stayed for an extended weekend at the Best Western in Wooster, Ohio for a college graduation. The office manager and her staff were absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to ensure that our weekend and that of fellow families staying there for the graduation weekend was perfect! They were extremely accommodating for our large group and went out their way to ensure we had space available for a casual, group gathering. I highly recommend choosing the Best Western for your hotel of choice when ever you are in Wooster. Theresa, the office manager is a top-notch professional! Well done!

I felt like I was checking in to a 5 star luxury hotel in a big city. All jokes aside, this is a great hotel. The rooms are nice and clean, the bed and pillows were so comfortable. The next morning, the continental breakfast was fantastic! I usually HATE the continental breakfasts at hotels because they look like they are thrown out there at the last minute without thought, but this breakfast was super nice and a lot of variety of breakfast foods. I highly recommend this hotel!!

We enjoyed our stay here. Fast check in which is always nice after driving all day. It was very close to a eating spot we chose. Very clean and low key actually. The breakfast was good also the next morning.

Rooms are clean, but somewhat dark and dreary. Comfortable room temperature. High speed WiFi Internet is OK, though not secure, despite password. Parking lot is inconvenient, as it is a long walk to most of the rooms. Elevator is very slow.

The hotel is located right downtown and has a nicely decorated lobby with a welcoming staff. The room we had was clean and spacious and was perfect for our weekend visit to The College of Wooster. The staff were all very helpful and the morning breakfast had a great variety of options.

We decided to stay in Wooster on our way home. We picked this hotel because of location and great reviews. We were not disappointed. We made reservations at the Broken Rocks and it was a few minutes walk away. I wish we had more time to check out this quaint little town. I wish I would of got the lady's name that worked the front desk and also waited on us at the bar. She was so friendly and nice and made our stay that much better. My husband and I said we'd like to come back some day and we will definitely be staying here again! You can't go wrong!

This Best Western, located in the heart of Wooster has recently been totally updated. It is very well decorated and has a great library and business center. The rooms are very nice and comfortable and have a microwave and fridge. Several good restaurants and points of interest are just a short walk. You will have a very good nights sleep here.

I stay here every time I see my son play lacrosse or just visit Him at College of Wooster. Teresa and her staff make you feel like family. It is most convenient to the college. They are working hard to get BW Plus status, but not there yet. It is not a new hotel and not fancy, but we are always comfortable.

I really enjoy this hotel and love the location. We stay here often and it really is a gem. The staff really try to make it nice. It is clean, beds are comfy, lots of pillows and towels in the room. My 4 stars instead of 5 this time is because of room placement. As a diamond member and frequent guest, being put right next to the elevator and ice machine is not at all ideal. The room backs to noisy Liberty Street making daytime in the room very loud. If we had a napping child with us, this would have been an issue. The street is quiet at night and the hotel not busy this trip, so no need to request a different room. However, I do feel the front desk staff needs to pay closer attention to where they place their repeat guests as a courtesy. Also, It would be nice if they invested in some queen beds instead of the doubles. When we travel as a full family, we have to get two rooms because of the small size of the beds.

This Best Western was awesome. The staffing and the facilities were the best. They have great meeting rooms and excellent banquet services. The rooms were great and the housekeepers were great. The front desk employees were there to help with whatever you needed. I would highly recommend this motel for your events.

I am an ice-water drinker, use tons of ice. ICE MACHINE +++++ Never let me down. Breakfast was great each day. And I was able to get all my workouts in at the fitness center. WALKED to a different dinner location each night! It's clear that hotel management has placed strongest emphasis on guest experience. Check out was a breeze. I'll be back!

The Best Western Wooster is located downtown just minutes away from the college. Much of the hotel seems to have been remodeled recently although there are some spots where it does appear to be dated. The lobby is lovely and comfortable. The staff is very welcoming. There is a small business area with access to a printer and a library. There is a bar open in the evenings Mon-Sat. We were there on Sunday so I cannot comment on the drinks or service. The room was pleasant. My daughter loved the toiletries. The beds were extremely comfortable. Each bed also had lots of pillows. There is a microwave and fridge. Instead of a closet there is a pretty wardrobe that contained a steam iron and ironing board. The bathroom was small, but functional. The sink is inside the bathroom so if you have multiple people you will need to stagger bathroom usage. The breakfast was in a beautiful room off the lobby. There was a coffee station which also offered tea and cocoa. The hot food area was generous. There were biscuits, sausage gravy, sausage patties, and plain omelettes. They also supplied diced ham and shredded cheese for those who wanted to dress up their omelettes. In addition to the standard waffle station, there was oatmeal as well as breads and poptarts for the toaster. They also had three types of cereal, milk, and fruit juices. Although they offered canned fruit cocktail, I would have loved some fresh cut fruit. A generous bounty of food overall. The hotel has its own parking lot and all rooms are interior. The pool is outside and wasn't heated so we were not able to enjoy it. The price was great and we loved the area. We will be back. I would like to suggest that the TVs in the breakfast room be turned to either local news or the Weather Channel. I imagine most of those staying at the hotel are coming to a local event. To me, having local news or weather on would have been very helpful.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff. The lobby area is updated and very appealing to the eye. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel is located near many restaurants in walking distance - we tried out Muddy's and we were very impressed. Great stay overall!

This town is so charming and the Best Western is close to center of it. Christmas lights in town were lovely we were just missing the snow effect to make it perfect....walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The staff was so nice and helpful with were to go for whatever your needs were. My room was so accommodating with everything I needed for a good nights sleep. Breakfast was 1st class with something for every appetite and diet. If you don't mind going a little off the 4-lane to find this it will be well worth it!!!!! Thanks for the excellent night sleep...

Our go to hotel while visiting our daughter at College of Wooster. Convenient to all downtown restaurants and blocks from the College itself. Staff work very hard to ensure a great experience. Clean rooms that are larger than average. Free breakfast buffet with lots of options!

It is very unique motel that is in downtown Wooster on Liberty Street. It is not out along some highway but within walking distance of several shops, including the Rubbermaid store. The breakfast is one of the best breakfast I have ever had. Every body working there was so nice. yes there was a tip jar....but it was worth dropping a couple $$ in. Highly recommend staying here...very quiet and they even have a small bar that is open at night...plus a library of books you can read... fun place.

This hotel is clean, has a welcoming lobby, a hot breakfast and comfortable beds. Best of all is the wonderful location within walking distance of all the downtown Wooster restaurants. The price is reasonable and it is close to the College of Wooster.

We moved to area and had to stay in a hotel while we awaited our belongings. We had a great stay at the hotel - staff was very nice, room was great. The location is great - easy to walk to all the downtown shops and places to eat.

I was in town to see a friend, during Woosterfest, and the room was extremely comfortable and clean. The staff was excellent.I would highly recommend this hotel due to location as well as comfort and staff.

The exterior as well as the lobby is beautiful! Rooms are slightly dated but clean and nice. Average size room, small beds (maybe a double) and the bathroom is slightly small. Hotel staff were awesome! Quick check in (at 11pm), speedy checkout. We also had very noisy neighbors one night (12:30 am) and after calling the front desk they took care of it. We also had our car towed and the staff helped us find a ride to go get the car.

I reserved early in August for this date. For some reason Wooster was extremely busy this weekend. I got a nice room on the top floor. 343. The bed was comfortable but the bathtub was a hazard. I had to hang onto the soap dish to keep from slipping or falling . There needs to be hand rails or at least some sandpaper glued to the bottom of the tub. Free breakfast was of the common choices at hotels in this price range. I guess the main thing is the coffee and was very good and robust. They offered the usual. ..sausage, gravy, biscuits and dairy ...milk and yogurt for me. The staff was so great from start to finish, and location was unbeatable. I would probably stay here again but I hope they do something about the dangers in the bathroom

Always stay at the BW-Wooster when visiting my daughter who attends The College of Wooster. The staff are always extremely kind and professional. Although the hotel decor is somewhat dated, it is a good value. I will continue to stay at the BW-Wooster each time I visit.

We sent a crew of nine men to work in Wooster. The hotel is excellent, the rooms are very nice and well maintained. Best of all, the staff are pleasant, caring, and seem to like their jobs. They went out of their way to be friendly. Teresa is absolutely amazing to work with.

Wooster is an entertaining town with a variety of interesting shops and restaurants. One highlight of our stay was visiting the local farmers market on Saturday morning. There was certainly something for everyone's tastes sold there. The hotel is in an excellent location for a stroll through the downtown. We were impressed by how friendly and helpful the entire hotel staff was. The suite was clean, quiet, roomy and comfortable. The hotel internet service was fast and easy to use. Although there was no HBO, there was a very large selection of television channels available. We would like to thank Teresa and Annette for their helpfulness and hospitality. We recommend this hotel to others who plan a visit to Wooster.

From the time we walked through the front doors and checked in with Carrie to the cleanliness of the room and pool I wish we spent more than one night!! The staff was so friendly and the Breakfast area was the nicest and cleanest I have ever seen in a hotel. The food was delicious and plentiful and the girls were so nice. They came around and refilled coffee and took your plates to the garbage. They could not have done more!! The beds were comfortable and the pool was clean and they had the best towels for the pool. If you are ever in this area or around it is worth the extra miles to stay here!! They sell pictures painted on canvas from a local artist and you will never find a nicer picture or more reasonable price. The girl sold three the morning we checked out and we were one of them!!! Love this place!!!

We have family in Wooster and frequent this hotel while we are visiting. This hotel is managed by a hard working hands on manager and the staff strive to provide the best possible service one could ask for. My only criticism is horrible inroom coffee and the pillows are too big although the hotel found us some flatter ones.

The location of this Best Western was great. Near where we had to attend a wedding. And also places were within driving distance or in town which we could walk too. We would stay there again so we could visit more places.

Clean, comfy, in a great location. What impressed us most was that they provided food my daughter with allergies could eat for breakfast; they bought it especially for her. This was definitely above and beyond. in terms of service. We would definitely stay there again.

I found myself at this location on a night when I was tired and needed a place to stay. I did not have a reservation and it was one of the busiest times for the hotel (due to the local college graduation). I had special personal needs and concerns and the help and customer service I received from Carrie Mohr and the GM Teresa Bright was incredible!

Great Hotel, friendly staff, acknowledged my rewards status. Also asked if I had parked my motorcycle under the overhang and encouraged me to do so, very few hotels offer that option. This hotel was really oriented to the motorcyclist.

My trip was unplanned and sudden. I arrived to the Best Western Wooster late in the day w- no reservation. The ck-in experience was exceptional. I immediately secured a GREAT room at a much needed rate. Hotel location in Old Wooster district is fantastic. Able to walk to a myriad of great restaurants. My room was exceptional as well. Owners, management, and staff are clearly committed to guests having an outstanding stay at their hotel. Kudos

When I walked into this hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the lobby area. It was very pretty and welcoming. The pool was very clean like the rest of the hotel. The staff was friendly and the rooms were comfortable. Not to mention one of the best hotel breakfasts I have seen.

Staff very friendly, location within walking distance to downtown and restaurants. One of the better free morning breakfast selection I've seen. Room was a bit noise which surprised me. It wasn't due to traffic, but something outside made noise all night. Overall a good place to stay if in this area.

We were not having a good day due to plumbing problems at home, and our plumber was not available for the next 2 days. It was my wife's birthday, and not having a toilet at home was unpleasant. I looked for some local motels and found the Best Western in Wooster had a good military rate for veterans, so I booked it on line. We had been doing yard work and were in need of a shower. The hotel is right in downtown Wooster, which was only 12 miles from home. Upon arrival at front desk we were greeted very cheerfully by Carrie. When she pulled up my reservation, both she and the other front desk lady immediately thanked me for my service. I had booked a King room, but much to my surprise, she said she would put us in a suite. The suite was very nice, clean, with plenty of pillows, blankets, and towels. It was quiet and my one and only complaint was the small round toilet seat. The shower had a shower head with the removable hand shower hose which I love. We visit Wooster often, so we knew that there are numerous good restaurants within easy walking distance. While my wife was taking her shower, I went down to the bar to have a drink. The bartender was not there, so Carrie came from behind the reception desk to fix me a drink (only $5.00). We went down for the free breakfast the next morning where they had a good selection of breakfast items. All the serving areas and tables were very clean. This is probably the nicest Best Western I have stayed at. Highly Recommend.

My husband & I were looking for a clean, reasonably priced overnight stay and the Best Western Wooster was it! From Carrie at the front desk, to our spotless room, to DJ in the Breakfast/Dining room the service was outstanding. The bed was comfy. The room was quiet and everything worked. They really outdid themselves with the complete complimentary breakfast. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay! Will recommend to family & friends. We'll be back!

I just returned from my 2nd stay at this hotel, and once again I am impressed by the quality of the rooms, amenities and staff. The room was clean, comfortable with quality furnishings, linens and personal touches. The staff from the front desk, to the maids, the breakfast room staff and even the maintenance man I encountered were all very upbeat, nice and helpful. The location of this hotel is wonderful as well, can't go wrong staying here and I will definitely return the next time my travels bring me back to Wooster.

DJ did a great job with the breakfast buffet keeping it stocked and clean and she even brought us coffee when she was filling the carafes. The whole staff has been pleasant and friendly and the hotel is beautiful. Great job!

This hotel is downtown, very handy for the College of Wooster, for sporting events in town, and local business. The room itself was updated, lovely, great bathroom and plenty of electrical plugs to recharge our electronics. Free breakfast was good, with the usual waffle maker and wide food selections. The lobby is somewhat dated. Parking is free, wi fi was fine. There are many good restaurants within walking distance, at all price levels. Staff were very pleasant and helpful in their local recommendations. Check-in/out was quick.

Staff was very unfriendly to myself and customers trying to check in. I booked my room early in the day, and was not able to get into my room until an hour after I checked in, at almost 6pm. We were not offered a late check out or anything. We were not informed about breakfast, or the wifi. Way too rushed when we did get our room keys.

The service was superb. My wife, Arlene, is not well and the check in clerk went the extra to help me with her. I apologize for failing to get her name. The next morning I needed some help with my wife, Teresa Bright, the General Manager came to our room and provided much needed assistance. When we came down to leave, Teresa helped get Arlene out of the hotel and into my truck. They are the finest people I've encountered in many years. The room and the hotel were very clean and well maintained. My white socks stayed white. Parking was within a reasonable distance. Breakfast was real scrambled eggs with sausage, biscuits and gravy. This is much nicer than the normal "free" breakfast. Thank you for a very fine facility. I've stayed in some of the finer hotels and can't remember any of them providing more heartfelt service. Teresa & Best Western should be congratulated for the great staff and quality of this facility.

From the great checkin clerk, the bartender who helped me with my ipad/wifi to the breakfast staff who were excellent I couldn't have been happier with my stay. Best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel offering free breakfast. It was a little pricey but I can't complain because everything and everyone was terrific. Worth the price!

Quiet, clean room, pretty good breakfast. Great location for town of Wooster and College of Wooster. Great restaurants walking distance from Hotel. Staff real friendly. Only gripe is they continue to play Fox News during breakfast.

I drove eleven hours to get to the hotel for a wedding the next day. I arrived late and the staff on duty (front desk and at the bar) were very friendly and helpful to me. They welcomed me with a sincere hello with how can we help you. The hotel is in a great location too!

We have stayed here before. Hotel has been updated on the outside and seems some on inside. Rooms are nice. Beds are really comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and well kept. Breakfast in the morning is fairly good. They also have a bar available at night, but we did not take advantage of this.

Easy parking and convenient location to the College of Wooster and downtown Wooster. Very nice staff with good, Midwestern manners. The hotel itself is clean, as are the rooms, but there is an outdated feel to the decor in the lobby. This is not a luxury hotel but it is clean as I said, so I don't mind. The breakfasts were better than some Best Westerns. We will use this hotel again for future trips to Wooster. The town is better than it was when I went to college there back in the 1980's.

Pretty satisfied, slept well (very important!) I would just like better lighting and the next time you paint, use some nicer colors. A magnifying mirror would be nice as well. I cannot say enough nice words about the staff. Everyone was polite, cheerful and accommodating.

We stayed here while we were visiting our granddaughter who is at Wooster College. We were awed by the lobby of this hotel. it was amazing - big and very well decorated. It made the rest of the hotel, which very clean, look like it could use a face lift. The elevator is amazingly small and slow, and we could barely fit in the luggage cart. Since we were on the second floor, it was easier to use the stairs rather than wait for the elevator. Our room was nice and had a microwave and refrigerator. It was pretty quite while we were there although when a guest in a neighboring room used the shower at 4 am, it woke us up. The breakfast choices and room were among the nicest we have seen in recent years. The staff was very friendly and efficient. When they noticed that we were going out on a very cold night to see a lacrosse game, they wanted to give us blankets to bring. That's service!

The staff at this hotel always go beyond their duties to make the customer feel at home. Definitely recommended. The hotel is clean and well maintained. It's in the center of town so there is easy access to any part of Wooster.

The staff really make the hotel. It has a great location in downtown Wooster just a block from an excellent little restaurant (Broken Rocks.) Lterally everyone in the hotel was eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible, from the friendly check in to the breakfast cook who was handing out experimental muffins and quesadillas at breakfast to test how to expand the breakfast buffet. The hotel decor is dated but everything is clean. The staff are determined to try and make up for lack of aesthetics with excellent service. Highly recommend!

A good solid hotel, great staff who are wonderfully engaging and clearly care about your experience there. Also noticed that there were quite a few repeat customers - always a good sign. Based on that alone, I'd stay here anytime. Their location to really great and solid restaurants - not chains, put them over the top, including a new shop. Yes...THE piece that was astounding was the restaurant scene in this town! Easy walking distance to great local restaurants, and I mean really good. Asian (and yes really good without a caveat ) Greek, Italian, steak house, etc...totally unexpected and delightful. And more...Beyond that, there is a new place, the Wooster Chocolate Company (Woosterchocolates.com) just down the street. This is a top drawer chocolate shop that I'd put up against some of the best in San Francisco or New York. They make a dark chocolate drink that is beyond memorable. Just go.

Somehow, we got a gigantic suite here! The bed was very comfy, and we had a big dining table. TV was HUGE. It was nice and quiet, and we slept well. We had a lovely breakfast in the morning too. Very nice experience overall.

it is located in downtown and it is walk distance for many restaurants. There are some small antique mall and boutiques. Good location. This hotel is an old building and it has a nice entrance. It has a small elevator. The rooms size are okay, although, the bathroom is tiny and needs more light. It has a small bar area on the first floor, which, opens daily 6PM to 11PM for some drinks, where you can hang out before your dinner or after a day of work. The hotel's wifi is a trick sometimes works good and sometimes not. Have to check my devices all the time.The hotel towels are kinda small and need some up-to-dates. the pillows are so high I can't sleep with it. Well, as I said before the staffs are really nice and trying to help you in any issue you have.They brought me an old flat pillow. Maids are so gentle. Everyone here is really nice. I recommend it.

The Staff was very friendly. Our room was clean and fresh with ample pillows and towels. Nice hot breakfast with a large dining area. Loved the fact that there is a NO SMOKING Policy as I am allergic to tobacco and cigarette smoke. I wished we would have had time to enjoy some of the shops and pubs that where in walking distant. We will definitely stay here again.

I live 3 hours south of Wooster and my daughter was delivering our first grand baby at the community hospital. It was going to be a while and was already 11pm at night so I was looking for a place close and easily accessible to the hospital. This Best Western exceeded those expectations. I walked in at 12am and was able to make a reservation, very kind and friendly Night agent and very beautiful property. Safe parking and key entry to enter the hotel. Room was large with plenty of space, fridge, microwave, and toiletries. Baby arrived at 2:30AM and I was able to be back at the hospital in just 5 minutes. Enjoyed a nice buffet breakfast in the dining room and checked out to head back home. Check out was very easy and fast, front desk staff again very friendly and welcoming. I will be staying again next weekend.

I cannot say enough good things about this motel. Every staff person that I met was helpful, kind, and wanting to help. The room was clean and offered more than enough towels, pillows, and guest items. My reason for staying was due to some rather stressful circumstances, and the manager was understanding and cooperative and went out of her way to put me at ease. For my trip, this was one issue that I did not have to worry about! I think it is hard to find people and places as nice as this one and I would definitely stay here again and recommend this motel to anyone!

I walked through the door after driving around for an hour on possibly the worst day of my life. Not knowing where exactly I was, I found my way in the front door of the gorgeous hotel. It was about 11pm, no reservation but was greeted with a friendly face (actually 2 friendly faces) Helen, the manager, was exceptional, and such a caring lady. She checked me in, talked with me to steer my mind away from the awful event that had just happened. I went to my room, which was the amazing. It was warming, and felt safe for me. It is nicely decorated, very very clean. plenty of anything you need for your stay. I settled in, and even though it was time for Helen to go home, she called my room to ask if I needed anything at all. well, I had no toothpaste as I had not planned on being away from my husband on this trip. She not only brought me toothbrush/toothpaste, she brought me some food/fruit and a hug. Yes a hug, which I needed so very much. The breakfast the next day was amazing. food tasted great, the presentation was like a buffet at a wedding. The area is clean and large to eat your breakfast. If I am ever back in this nice little town, I will most definitely be back. The folks here care about more than selling you a room, they care about the folks walking through the front door. The hotel is beautiful, clean and everything worked perfectly. Oh, I also received a card under my door the next morning from Helen giving me lifting words as I headed home. Thank you Helen, and all the wonderful staff at this hotel.

Nice facility with friendly staff. Rooms and decor was good. Vending machines all worked properly. I had a late arrival scheduled and my room was waiting with no issues. Easy access to the facility and interior areas were clean. The staff seemed to go the extra mile on my behalf

Stayed overnight for a company Christmas party. Banquet room was beautifully decorated, catered food was delicious! When we got off the elevator the whole hallway smelled like a stale ashtray. Our room was stifling hot and smelled as well. We opened a window and walked down the street and bought a candle and incense to make the room smell better. Went to the party, went back to room to sleep, ate breakfast - which was great - we smoked outside all evening and in our PJs in the morning. 2 days after our stay I was charged $250.00 for smoking in the room. Now I know why I prefer Choice hotels! We did not smoke in the room, however, if we would have I don't know how anyone would have known, the smell was so bad to begin with!

We had our company Christmas party here, food and bar was pleasant, breakfast was well stocked with many items to choose from. Check in and out was easy and the location is near many events going on around town. good place to stay.

Great helpful staff, express check out is a nice feature. The hotel is located within walking distance of food, shopping, entertainment. The room are clean and comfortable with the usual amenities. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Great nights rest. Central location, friendly staff. Very clean, saw that there was a lobby bar, fitness etc. I have a limit I can spend and the pricing was well within my allowable range. Without question when back in Wooster I will stay at the Best Western.

Hotel staff (esp. Helen & Kelly) were so helpful with everything we needed. Cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were very comfortable and the location of the Hotel made our walking adventures enjoyable.

Staff is very welcoming and helpful. At check in, they offered to make a fresh batch of coffee. Check out was a breeze. The room was very clean. Quiet, so easy to sleep. House keeping is very courteous. Hotel rate was good price. Good workout room. Downtown shopping was fun.

Why even stay here when there are better locations. An outdoor pool IN OHIO! What is the point. Everything from breakfast seemed to be pre-prepared from a frozen bag or a can *Yuck*, but I guess you get what you pay for. The price is right but you are not getting much. View of the ugly roof and tire shop or the sketchy gas station next door. No Thank You. The hallways are dark and some of the other guests staying were questionable. I did not feel safe traveling with my son while staying at this location. I went to look at other hotels hoping to find another and I did. I checked out and went 2 miles up the street to the Hilton Garden Inn. So much better

Frankly, this property, though it looks OK from the outside, is simply showing age. The bed was soft and spongy, the heater thermostat in our first room was broken and it was probably 100 degrees when we entered. The second room had a working heater but it created a lot of dust in the room (and I am allergic). The TV looked old and the picture on it was slightly out of focus. The internet works but at a very slow speed. However, there were ample towels, the sheets were clean, and the breakfast showed real effort on the part of the one staff that kept it up. The bath had a nice looking sink and vanity. It cost nearly as much as the Hampton I stayed in the night before in much better room,. So overall, I wouldn't be afraid to stay there, but I might better shop the completion if I were going again to Wooster.

Staff was very nice. The rooms were clean and fresh. This hotel offers a good hot breakfast with waffles, eggs, sausage gravy, yogurt, and fresh fruit. The breakfast opened at 06:00 which was important for our departure at 07:00.

Great value--room was clean. Quiet, staff very friendly and helpful. Would return if needed to visit the area again. Construction taking place on outside pool but never heard construction noise inside the hotel. Didn't take advantage of fitness or comp breakfast.

Excellent service, room was comfortable and quiet, amenities were what we needed. Bathroom and room were very clean. Staff was excellent to work with on the phone and in person when we arrived. Location in downtown was excellent for food service at the Ole Jail which was also an excellent place for food and spirits.

My wife and I took a short 40th anniversary trip to visit Amish Country and enjoy the sites and time away. The staff and hotel were in a great location and there was plenty to do in downtown Wooster. A great trip and a great stay.

This hotel is very clean, the employees are accommodating and extremely friendly. I travel there a lot and they make me feel like its home away from home. The breakfast is really good! The location is right next to stores, variety of restaurants, gas station.

Went down to ask for a Taxi ride and one of the Staff members was leaving for the day and took us to the reception. IT WAS AMAZING! Josh really saved the day and the other staff member, Amy, was so pleasant to talk to. She gave us some great recommendations on places to eat in the area.

Nothing negative! Wonderful location. Convenient to local shops, restaurants and points of interest in and around the city of Wooster as well as smaller cities and towns, including visiting nearby Amish.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We slept too late for breakfast and was directed to a very nice local restaurant. We were also told about the festival that was taking place that week end. Breakfast the next day was excellent. The staff was on hand to assist if needed and even made sure we didn't have to get back up for more coffee by bringing a pot around to refill. I've never had a staff do that before.

Amy working the front desk was very kind and accommodating when I requested a room change late one evening. I slept much better in my new room. This hotel is clean and comfortable and I will stay here again in the future.

Amy, who took our reservation, checked us in. She remembered that we are vegan and said there would be breakfast food available, just ask. The room was awesome and quiet! Kudos to the housekeeping staff - the filter in the a/c-heat unit was CLEAN! We enjoyed WoosterFest while we were in town.

We stayed here for a hockey tournament and our room was quiet and clean. It is a good sized room. Pool was closed for the season . They do have a great hot breakfast in the morning, sausage and biscuits, scrambled eggs, and waffles. Also juices, fruits, etc. Located in town so can walk to sandwich shops if you want.

My family and I were in town for Homecoming at the College. We have stayed here several times. The hotel has been under going major renovations so it is better every time we go! Breakfast had many choices. Hotel within walking distance of shops, restaurants, bars and the college.

The Wooster Best Western has really committed itself to becoming a top flight place to stay. Every time I stay there visiting son at College of Wooster, I see more and more improvements. The staff is outstanding.

Stayed here one night for business. Very comfortable room & great location. Walking distance to several restaurants. Only disappointment was that the outdoor pool was closed. There is still beautiful weather after Labor Day.

The property is nice and clean BUT the STAFF was excellent and fun. It was our first time to Wooster. The hotel location was within walking distance to great a great brew pub - JAFB and other other restaurants. The heart of the hotel is really the staff and this staff was very accommodating and friendly. We will be back.

We had the BEST stay at the Best Western in Wooster Ohio! Thersea and Josh (staff) went out of our way to make sure we had everything we needed! We would stay here again if we ever had a reason to come back to the area

We have been staying at this hotel a few times a year over the last 4 years. It continues to improve with updated rooms, lobby area, etc. The location is great to the College of Wooster and it is the perfect location downtown to be able to walk to restaurants, etc. Highly recommended

It's quieter and easy to get to , great parking lot with extra side door to get into lobby ! Right now under construction , though . Wheel chair accessible. The bathroom in the guest rooms are small and there is no ventilation! But I did enjoy that you can open the windows a bit for fresh air ! Some pleasant shopping

Breakfast was better than average. Older hotel but clean and well maintained. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice looking lobby. The fitness center was currently under renovation and it was too cool to use the outdoor pool. But it was a nice location and easy to find.

Staff was very helpful and friendly - definite asset to this hotel. Location of hotel was ok but not extremely convenient for where we were going. There were many food choices within walking distance. Did not appear to be a lot of shopping (other than more specialty shops) within close proximity. We will be coming to this area on fairly regular basis for the next year or two and would stay here again and try to discover more in the area.

The hotel location was perfect- two minute drive to the College of Wooster. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Perfect location for exploring downtown and local businesses. Check in staff was incredibly helpful allowing us to check in early, allowing us to be able to focus on moving our college student into the dorm.

Not the nicest Best Western I have ever stayed at, but it certainly wasn't bad. The pillows were a little thick and hard, but the beds were fine. The food was a good, your average Best Western, but still very good. The hotel elevator was a little shady.

A return visit to The College of Wooster for my child attending there brought me back to Best Western Wooster. The stay is great for the price and the location is very convenient. The staff is very welcoming. I recommend Best Western Wooster.

We came to visit our daughter in Wooster and were extremely satisfied with the location and value. The rooms were large and clean. The breakfast was plentiful. You were right in downtown, walking distance to shops and restaurants..

The service here is excellent. Everyone here is welcoming and always be of great help. This hotel has everything a visitor needs: breakfast, bar, swimming pool and fitness center. However, traveling here is hard if u dont have a car.

We had a great time in Wooster thanks to the room accommodations. We had three rooms and all three were very clean and comfortable. The pool water was a little cool for what we are use too. Kids still had fun in the pool

The newly remodeled Best Western in Wooster has a very friendly and helpful staff. They have an excellent handicap room and ample handicap parking. The complimentary breakfast is outstanding. When my car wouldn't start, the kind person at the front desk said that a maintenance person could give me a jump start. For the rest of my stay, she always asked if my car was running okay. Couldn't have been nicer.

Great place to stay- friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms. We rented a number of rooms in July for my son's recent wedding, Teresa, Jamie and Josh (just to name a few) were very helpful. Having made our annual Ohio Light Opera an overnight event (regardless of its proximity to our home), we settled on these accommodations as our preference because it is convenient to anything we might do while in Wooster. It is also good value and good quality in the services it provides, and the staff we encountered have always been courteous and helpful.

Comfortable, mid-price hotel with exceptionally friendly staff. I stayed three nights and looked forward to breakfast every morning. Easy walking distance to downtown restaurants and municipal buildings, to college campus if one is a healthy walker.

I stayed at the St Paul last year for my first visit to this area. The St Paul was great, however I decided that for half the cost I would give Best Western a try this year. I was very happily rewarded by my decision as this hotel was clean, had great amenities, breakfast was awesome, bed and pillows super comfortable. The value for what I paid for far exceeded any expectation. I will definitely return to this Best Western for all future trips to this area and I highly recommend this location to others.

Excellent location and convenient to restaurants as well as theater. Nice atmosphere and pool.The complementary breakfast was quite extensive, well served and maintained. The rooms were comfortable and the king sized bed very comfortable. Nice comfortable lobby with comfortable seating.

We had not stayed at a Best Western recently. This hotel was conveniently located, and turned out to be even more than that. The accommodations were excellent, the breakfast a nice treat, parking was free and convenient, and the personnel were very helpful.

Very accommodating staff - we were in Wooster for an ACS fund raising bike event. Had bikes and lots of gear - staff was helpful as they let us keep a bike in need of repair in their lobby back room while we continued our event. Would have been difficult to get in our room on second floor! Much appreciated! Breakfast buffet was great - fresh fruit and other good selections. Lady on duty was super friendly! Had a much needed restful stay after riding nearly 100 miles in heat and challenging roads! Checked out very early to get on road again the complete our ride!

This BW hotel is located right in town, walking distance to shops and restaurants. They had ice water as well as apples available to you in the lobby. The room was ample, both microwave and refrigerator. Appreciated the extra towels in the room. Our room was very clean and fresh. Two bottles of water were waiting for us in the room. A nice touch after a hot day of driving. A large breakfast room with ample seating. Both hot and cold items on the menu. Will stay here again when in the area.

Staff are very friendly. And will to help with anything and gave real good recommendations on restaurants. This was a business trip and was the best part of my trip. The rooms were very clean as well as the Hotel in whole. Quick check in and out. The breakfast was really good in the morning and the service was good.

We stayed here to attend the Ohio Light Opera. Of the local options, it is reliably accessible--no steps, convenient elevator and parking. Given its appeal to the elderly, the slippery tub and the low toilet surprise us. However, we will stay here again to enjoy the central location and reasonable rates.

This is an older property that has had some good updates. Room was nicely equipped and well stocked, even extra kleenex and toilet paper. Lamps had outlets for charging electronics. Good breakfast, but skim milk would have been a nice option. Refrigerator & microwave in room. TV controls were difficult to figure out. Somewhat pricey, but this was likely due to Ohio Light Opera season.

Thank you so much for your friendly, caring, welcoming staff. The manager, Teresa, is very dedicated to providing the best customer satisfaction. She went above and beyond to accommodate the entire crew. Working away from home is hard and this staff makes you feel welcome and appreciated. Rooms are very clean and inviting and all employees are willing to help make the stay as comfortable as possible. With two weddings and a softball tournament, the staff worked over and was able to handle a completely booked hotel! We usually stay at the Holiday Inn, but this Best Western has changed our perspective. Thank you for your kindness. Highly recommended to anyone who needs a place to stay in Wooster.

My students and I were visiting from out of town for a school trip and the Best Western was able to accommodate us smoothly. They were efficient and our stay was great. The owners are very kind and even gave us a ride to our meeting when we were running late. Also, they have Zojirushi coffee dispensers at breakfast. Wow!

After an unsatisfactory experience at a hotel in the north end of Wooster, I found myself in the lobby of this Best Western Hotel. We were desperate to get an affordable room one more night until we could head home the next day. The staff at this hotel, including their general manager, took me and my family under its wing! I was really impressed how they were so genuine in their attempts to make sure we had a wonderful experience. We did have a wonderful experience! The entire staff made sure we had everything we needed and that we felt safe since I was traveling without my husband. My family flies standby and we have been very fortunate to have traveled domestically and internationally for many years and this hotel experience was one of the best across the board. I will be coming back often to visit my sick father and would not consider staying anywhere else. A sincere thank you Best Western Wooster Hotel!!

The staff went above and beyond from start to finish. I had to make last minute reservations near The College of Wooster. I called several other hotels and they were by far the most accommodating. They found me the best rate of them all, and made sure my family could check-in prior to my adjoining them. I highly recommend experiencing them for yourself.

Front desk service was absolutely amazing, especially over night staff. I felt very safe and well taken care off. The lady really went above and beyond watching out for me on a late night trip to the car. And that made me feel extra special. Breakfast was good but lacked to quality of service the rest of the staff provided. Rooms were nice a clean, house cleaning staff were also very courtesy and easy to work with especially considering we were in town for the softball tournament! Over all it was a shame one person. Can bring down the moral of a whole staff. :( Especially the first person you see every morning!

This hotel has changed greatly in the last year with major renovations that they re doing very good job the rooms are much nicer with the changes no smoking rules help the breakfast is plentiful the the service is better than before what you pay is worth it

My son is preparing to go to college in town, so we needed a reliable "go-to" hotel to stay at. We tried another place previously and it was more expensive, further away, and the rooms were not as nice. That is a no-brainer that we were going to make a change. The Best Western was clean, reasonably priced, and a short walk from the very quaint old downtown area. My wife and I love local mom-and-pop places, so this hotel puts you right in the heart of it all.

This hotel is under construction. The pool was not open. Our room had very visible ceiling damage, was outdated and small for what we have experienced for the same price in larger cities. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable. There was a smell to the tiny, slow elevator. Our keys did not work multiple times. The kicker was that our friends got locked out of their room on Saturday night after a wedding. The staff could not get them in their room so they slept in the sales managers office on a loveseat. That is ridiculous that they could not get them into their room!

Beautiful hotel conveniently located. The revenue manager and staff went above and beyond for an event we hosted there. We will definately go back! We HIGHLY recommend this hotel for your event or stay in downtown Wooster/Wayne County!

We stayed at this Hotel on the weekend of our daughter's graduation from the College of Wooster. It was a very important event for us, and the staff at this Hotel made us feel that it was important to them, as well. We had six rooms on reserve for this event, and the staff understood why they were there, treated them like family and never acted as if all of our requests and scheduling problems were a hassle. They worked through every one. We booked the Hotel a year in advance and this team of employees stayed in touch over 12 months to make sure all went as smoothly as possible. I cannot say enough about Teresa and her team. You should absolutely stay at this Hotel when in Wooster.

Spent two nights here. Was here about 1 1/2 years ago, but has been updated. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was great. Everyone who worked there was so friendly and went out of their way to answer questions, give directions, etc. Hotel in great location in Downtown Wooster...could walk to restaurants, bars, coffee, and The College of Wooster.

Our Quota club had a regional conference last weekend at the Wooster, Ohio Best Western. The hotel has all renovated rooms that look great. The exterior of the hotel is being renovated now. The event coordinator, Theresa was fabulous and our group could not have asked for a nicer location and organized event. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Was in Wooster for work training and could not have had a better experience! Theresa was the best! She could have passed off hostess duties to others, but handled it herself. The room was spaciuos with many amenities (coffee maker, microwave, fridge, bottled water and iron) that made it even better. Fast internet made me doing work after training a breeze. The breakfast was great and changed each day for variety. Will definitely be the first on my list if and when I visit again.

I was here for a convention. The staff was very accomodating. Rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was amazibg. I really enjoyed my stay. This hotel is in the heart of Wooster, so there was easy access to shopping and dining.

Nice place at a reasonable price. The room was clean and comfortable, the TV was great. Channel selection was crazy like most motels. My only real complaint was that the toilet was not an elongated bowl.

The staff is very accommodating! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. While my family was in town we stayed in the Jacuzzi suite and it was absolutely gorgeous! I would recommend this room to anyone who is looking for a little extra room! Love, love, love staying at this hotel!

The staff alone are worth coming back to they are kind and are willing to help you any way that they can. they all so have a good breakfast every morning. where they are located you are in waking distance of places to eat. i would highly recommend the hotel to people.

This hotel has convenient location to the Agricultural Center. Excellent caring staff in all areas of need. Breakfast selection was excellent and delicious. Check in and checkout were without a problem.

I stayed here recently. The hotel is a little old and hasn't been refurbished, but it's comfortable and everything works. The location is fantastic, straight down the hill from the College and two blocks to the heart of the downtown area. The gas station across the street has a well-stocked convenience store, so you don't have to go hungry or thirsty. Management was friendly and helpful. Very few things in town are open on Sunday, so be prepared for that.

The room was very quiet, clean and comfortable. The hotel is in the center of the amenities, so you can walk and enjoy more your trip. The breakfast was complete, hot breakfast, plus the cereals, fruit, etc. The exercise room is very complete and big, if there is somebody else, you do not feel crowded like other hotels that they just convert a regular room into a fit room.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the Wooster Best Western, and were quite happy that the employees welcomed us with all our Maize & Blue attire. Some good-nature d teasing took place! This facility ranks right up there with one of the best Best Westerns we have stayed at! Friendly, efficient staff, beautiful room, and excellent housekeepers! We'll definitely be back again when we venture to Buckeye Country again!

It was a very nice and well equiped hotel. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The free breakfast had a number of selections that were constantly monitored. The location was within walking distance of shops, restaurants,,,,,would stay here again

The front desk staff was excellent. You could not ask for a better group of people. They were friendly and helpful when I had to extend my stay. The breakfast area was clean and nicely set up. The staff supporting it were great. Only problem was with house keeping. They did a very poor job of cleaning my room. One day I did not leave a tip and they did not take my towels, vacuum the carpet and left the trash can sitting on the credensa with no can liner in it.

My company is doing a project here in Wooster and I arrived on Oct 6th and I am currently still here, a lot of our craft is staying at the hotel also. We are working around the clock and the staff has been very accommodating to our schedules. It has been a great place with very friendly staff. Theresa and the staff have taken care of us since our arrival to the hotel almost a month ago. I would highly recommend staying here,the price is very reasonable especially if you are there for a long period of time. I can't say enough good things about the Best Western it has been a great experience.

Right in the middle of the "urban renewal" going on in Wooster with good, healthy food options a block away. Some shabby details but overall a clean hotel with friendly staff. We had a good night's rest there. Very quiet! Can walk to the college.

I did not have a reservation, and it was getting late. Stopped at this Best Western and got a very nice room. Also got a very good rate, plus an AARP discount. They also had spaghetti and meatballs near the lobby for a modes cost. Not being from Wooster, and not wanting to go roaming around lookin for food late at night, the spaghetti was a nice touch. They also had a very nice complimentary breakfast in the morning, one of the best I've had at this type of hotel. Every one was very friendly and helpful, even the outside maintenance personnel. Also easy off/on to U.S. 30

The location is great, walking distance to everything in town. It looks new, is clean and tastefully decorated and with one exception, all the staff I interacted with were great. Here is the issue, they must not be making enough money from the corporate arrangements with the oil and gas companies whose workers comprise most of the guests, as they apparently rent out parking lot space to semi trucks with full refrigerated units. I thought it was odd when it was parked there empty running at 2 p.m. when I checked in and assumed they were making a delivery, it never moved during my entire stay and ran all day and night keeping me awake. It wasn't a continuous noise but cycled on and off every few minutes, it was like being tortured. The hotel construction transmits noise more than most. Usually, you can hear plumbing run, here you actually hear the water hitting the shower floor in the next room and when their phone rang, I thought it was mine so the truck noise was pretty loud. I phoned the front desk about the truck and an extremely haughty young lady said they appreciate customers of all types, which didn't even make sense as I was complaining about a truck not a person. She said no one else had complained (the hotel was almost empty), then said that she couldn't reach the driver to have them turn it off as they were off premise (it was very late). When I realized what she meant I was not very nice, she hung up on me. The manager called back later to apologize and they did not charge me for the room. I have seen some interesting things at hotels in many countries, but this was a first.

The location of the hotel in the centre of Wooster is ideal if you like to explore downtown Wooster. The hotel itself definitely could use a facelift when it comes to lobby, entrance, restaurant (breakfast only) bar area. The rooms have had some updates and are alright. We stayed in a room with two beds. The second bed was not made as we had a small blanket laying on it. The maid left a note, telling us they were not allowed to touch personal items, hens coud not make the bed! Very strange as the other bed had our own pillows on it and this bed was made. Also the bathroom that had our items on the counter was cleaned. We did not have a chance to question the front desk as we were gone 9 AM - 11 PM all day on business and really tiered when we came back. Overall the experience was ok. The location is great, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is sufficient.

We stay at Best Western, Wooster when we come to visit our daughter for events at her college. While we are only 1 1/2 hours away, it is like a mini vacation. The location of the hotel is perfect. Five minutes from her campus, and right on the edge of town to walk to all the neat shops and restaurants. The hotel staff is always friendly and helpful. Breakfast is always a treat to look forward to every morning. When our daughter graduates, we will miss our little home away from home !

Well this is the first time I have ever felt that my experience was so satisfying that the staff DESERVED my time to speak up for their hard work. I have never met a more pleasant staff willing to help in ANY. WAY possible to make all accommodations perfect. We stayed here for a friend's wedding. The ordered transportation to take us to th e wedding was not there for us to get to the wedding. Theresa happen to note that we were stuck and going to miss the wedding, she got us to the wedding herself by driving us to the facility. ???? we made it to the church on time. (By seconds) she and the staff were there to help us with true smile. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was setup nicely with assistance available. The remodeling is coming along but what is completed is very classy!!! THERESA IS #1IN MY BOOK. I WOULD COME BACK TO WOOSTER JUST TO STAY HERE.

hotel has had some majr work done to improve your stay. the rooms are being reworked and the breakfast is as always good. they closed the orginal lounge and opened a small area in tnhe lobby. I think its to small and pricey

We stayed here only one night, but were very impressed not only with the physical building but the price and cleanliness of the whole place, both inside and outside. The room was large, bright and very clean. We were quite close the elevator but didn't hear it once during our entire stay. Breakfast was very good and plentiful, not just the usual sweet rolls, cereal, juice and fruit. This was a REAL breakfast which was included with the price of the night's stay. Mattresses were very comfortable and bathroom was very clean - I can't say 'clean' enough!

The Best Western Hotel in Wooster, Ohio is a nice affordable place to set up camp for the weekend. Situated downtown, puts you within walking distance to the sights and sounds of the great resturants. The stafff are very nice and the hotel is clean.

Wooster isn't a big town and there aren't a lot of options but the Best Western met all of our expectations. If you want the Ritz, don't expect to find one in Wooster. This review is based on my expectations for the type of hotel this is. We were in town for Alumni weekend at the College of Wooster and the hotel is very convenient to campus. You can even walk if you have the time (20 minutes). The rooms are a decent size, clean. The bed was comfortable. Desk with chair and our room (313) had a recliner! Room 317 had a comfy chair but it didn't recline. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever seen - very clean, well stocked, delicious choices and plenty of seating with clean tables (leave a tip!). The staff was super accommodating: making advance reservations for 4 rooms for graduation and even bringing up extra chairs for overflow guests one night.

Beautiful comfortable room.. no trouble checking in or out.. very quiet. The bed was absolutely comfortable.. The Air Conditioning worked fabulous. Plenty of room to move around. Very Clean private. The complimentary breakfast was fresh and well attended. There were many options for breakfast.. they had waffles, eggs, sausage, bisquits & gravy, plus all the typical stuff cereal, bagels, muffiins, oatmeal. etc.

We stayed on a friend recommended it to us. This is one of the best hotels we stayed at in a long time. The staff was very friendly helping us with stay. Breakfast was amazing. Very clean and in a wonderful downtown. You will truly enjoy your stay. Bill Mars

Our family comes to Wooster because of the college and we have stayed at other hotels, but from now on, we will stay at the BW. Excellent downtown location, clean, comfortable, helpful staff, and reasonable price. The breakfast seems a notch above the standard "complimentary breakfast" fare in terms of quality and pleasant dining area.

The hotel was very nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. The employees were all very pleasant. The room was very nice and the breakfast area was clean with a nice food presentation. The elevator is smaller than most hotels I've been in.

The staff made sure we were aware of all the events happening. Also made sure we had our most important meal of the day! Which of course is breakfast. The facility was clean and up to date. All in all they made you feel like you were at home!

I simply want to say how wonderful the staff was at this hotel. I visited this Best Western on business, and I've stayed at countless hotels, but I've never felt so "at home" than at this particular one. When my colleagues and I arrived, breakfast time was almost over, but we were welcomed in and extra food was prepared to allow us a chance to eat before checkin. Essentially, breakfast was extended for us. The manager on duty, Teresa, even helped one of our party up to the room with his bags, because he had his hands full. To top it all off, a special trip was made to acquire one of our party some toothpaste. I can't say that I've ever experienced such a level of hospitality than at this Best Western. Thank you Teresa, and thank you to the rest of the hotel staff. We hope to be back soon.

Renovations have been a plus. Few more kinks to work on, but great downtown location near good restaurants and College of Wooster. In lobby bar is a plus, but need to work on hours and actual bartending.

First time in a Best Western was a winner. Checked other hotels in the area first because we had not stayed at a Best Western before. They were unavailable so we checked it out. The evening clerk at the counter (Helen) was extremely helpful, friendly, and even offered information before I ask. She was helpful a few times during our stay when I had questions and took care of us right away. The facilities were well designed and impressive. The room was immaculate and comfortable. The amenities would be at the top of any list I made comparing this Best Western to other motels I have stayed in. We were just travelling through so I doubt I will have the opportunity to stay at this Best Western again but it did encourage me to consider this motel chain the next time I use one.

The Best Western is conveniently located downtown Wooster. There are restaurants, cafes and shopping in close walking distance. The air conditioning unit works well and was nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room. Although, I was unable to use several of the amenities it is nice that the hotel has an outdoor pool, fitness center and bar. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and I would definitely stay here again. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. I was able to get an early check-in (even earlier than I had anticipated) which was much appreciated.

Our company reserved a conference room for 2 days at Best Western. The facility was clean and well taken care of. The staff was friendly and very helpful to us. They were able to provide Coffee, Ice water and soft drinks for us as well as cookies and a lunch. When we felt crowed in one room they allowed us to move to a larger conference room that better suited our needs. Over everything was great and at a reasonable price.

Stayed here on our first night of our trip to Chicago. I picked this because it was in between Mansfield (Ohio State Reformatory) and Canton (Football Hall of Fame). The hotel was very nice. I little older but clean. The breakfast was very good. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent. They are located right around the corner from town. Reminded me of the small town I grew up in. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location. Walking distance to everything. Breakfast was great except no eggs for four days? Very friendly staff with perfect recommendations for the area. Ask for a downtown map. Large pool and nice exercise room. Lobby recently renovated.

We had stayed here multiple times. Great location to College of Wooster and local restaurants. COW is about 6 blocks away. Restaurants are only a couple of blocks away. Great staff, quiet rooms. Decent breakfast although it has become less over our stays here.

We have stayed at this hotel twice now and have enjoyed our stay both times. Staff is very helpful and hotel, room, property is very clean. The location of the property works for us because we have a child that is a student at nearby Wooster, which is right around the corner so it is very convenient as well. We will be back.

Great hotel very conveniently located to downtown Wooster. Was a short three minute drive to my work location, and an easy walk to good restaurants in the evenings. I personally wouldn't consider anywhere else to stay while in Wooster.

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the last 3 years as our child attends College of Wooster. The hotel has made some nice improvements over the last year, including a lobby lounge, room updates and overall lobby improvements. We would definitely recommend this hotel, and the downtown location is great for walking to restaurants and close to campus.

If you are traveling and looking for a great place to stay don't pass this hotel up. I have stayed at a lot of Best Western's, but this place is the Taj Mahal compared to the others. The management and staff are super great with the clientele and are ready to answer any questions you have. Are overnight stay was excellent. We experienced no noise and the beds were nice and comfortable. For me that is a plus, because I have a bad back. Our room also came provides with a refrigerator and microwave. The continental breakfast was outstanding too and well managed. Should you ever be traveling through Wooster I highly recommend the Best Western! I would like to personally thank the management and staff for making our stay a pleasant and enjoyable one.

This hotel is very good. The room was clean and quiet. The water was hot. The Internet worked well. The air conditioning worked well, and it was very hot in August, whe I stayed there for four days. The TV was a little complicated but ok. The exercise room was nice. I did not use the pool. Breakfast was less than perfect because it was exactly the same every day. Some variety in eggs and sausage would be helpful. It is near restaurants (such as the Broken Rocks, a good place). The hotel was undergoing some remodeling, but that did not affect me. Although it was on the main street, it was not noisy from traffic. Parking was easy. The bottom line is that I would stay there again.

This was a last minute trip. Hotel was helpful with reservations. Desk clerk remembered our phone conversation and was very polite & professional. Lobby area is excellent. Breakfast aea was very nice with a decent selection. Checkout was quick.

The man on the front desk, Stephan, tried hard to correct a reservation error made by Best Western. He did his best unsuccessfully, Went down from there. The faucet in the tub would turn off. The water was a steady drip/stream the whole 48 hours in the hotel. The hotel is old and tied. It badly needs paint, carpet, etc. Final straw was Sunday morning when we discovered that the elevator was broken. It was painful watching old couples - one on a walker - try to negotiate the fire escape steps with luggage. Best Western doesn't need this franchise. Next trip to the Wooster area will find us in other accommodations.

Older facility that is working hard on keeping up. Comfortable, fairly quite, with an average to above, free breakfast. Had a WONDERFUL surprise from our housekeeper Sarah. Her honesty is something you do not see hardly anymore and due to this it will take her far to places she has not yet envisioned during her life. The elevator broke overnite and it was GREAT to here the folks who were called in not complain but speak about needing to come in to take care of THEIR guests. WOW!!

We so enjoyed our stay for the Ohio Light Opera. As one reviewer noted--location, location, location. One can walk to the college for the performances (provided it is not 90 degrees) and all the excellent eateries in Wooster are reachable on foot. But there is more. Great breakfast, friendly, helpful staff, and we were able to eat our carry-in dinner after the performances in the lobby. The only reason this is not an Excellent rating is because there is so much renovation going on. We are anxious to see the results when we return next August.

Decor is all a bit dowdy and the elevator is too small and too slow, but the facility is clean, well-kept, has spacious fully equipped rooms with comfortable beds,and the location can't be beat. The staff is friendly, especially Jaime, when she doubles at the cozy lobby bar. Stay there.

I worked with Teresa to plan my sister-in-law's bridal shower this past May. I was amazed at how stress free it was from the first phone call I made to cleaning up after the event. My phone calls were always promptly returned and my questions always answered. Teresa was flexible regarding our uncertain guest list and able to accommodate all of our needs. I was so pleased to show up the day of the shower and see the room prepared perfectly. Teresa made herself available in case we needed anything throughout the afternoon. I could not have been happier with the way everything turned out and would most definitely consider using the Best Western for future events!

Went to the Hall Of Fame ceremonies in Canton,Ohio with my grandson. Chose this place because of the price and good reviews. Was not disappointed.The room was big and clean and the breakfast was wonderful. Best breakfast layout I have seen. Had family come and stay in the newly remodeled executive suite.. They were beyond amazed at how the room looked .. Big enough for the family to get together and talk and catch up . Really enjoyed the continental breakfast , lots to choose from .. Definitely will stay at the Best Western again when traveling to Ohio ..

We came to Wooster for the Ohio Light Operas and stayed at the Best Western. It has a beautiful lobby and a wonderful full breakfast (free). The rooms a clean and nice and the Wi-Fi works fast. Location was near the University where the shows took place.

Can't say enough about this Hotel. The staff is more than accommodating (talking about you, Amy!) And the location is awesome! The best restaurants in town all well within walking distance. The decor is familiar and inviting.

We stayed in the suite and it was fantastic. We had our wedding reception there in the ballroom snd teresa made sure everything went perfectly. We loved our suite that we stayed in. It was so beautiful!!

Front desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable. She gave us easy-to-follow directions to a local shopping center where we could find a Wal-Mart as requested. Her directions guided us to our destination, and back to the hotel, quickly and easily and in the dark.

Perfect in every sense of the word. We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in future years during this business trip. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I can't wait to see it after the remodeling

This hotel greatly exceeded our expectations. It was clean, staff was friendly breakfast was fantastic location was out of this world. We were able to walk to several great restaurants and a few bars, and really enjoyed downtown Wooster. We were biking through Ohio, and the staff really accommodated storing our bicycles as well as helping us with biking routes and things to do - Jamie Rocks!!! Would definitely recommend staying here!

We needed a hotel for a night and this was very nice. We've stayed other places in Wooster, which were fair. We'd recommend this place. The desk staff was very friendly. We knew the area, so didn't need assistance there, but they were ready with some dining suggestions.

The entire staff were marvelous and took wonderful care in making our stay special. When I needed a shower cap they didn't just hand us one they had it delivered to our room.. One of the best continental breakfasts I've had in my travels. The location was perfect for shopping and dining and we were able to walk around the town.

Hotel is under renovation but did not effect my stay. Nice breakfast and very helpful front desk assistance. Traveling for business and this was a nice change to be able to walk to the downtown area and find great restaurants. Would stay again.

Loved the outdoor pool on the hot sunny day, good quiet continental breakfast place. When we arrived in to the room, we noticed that there was some sort of unfinished repair in the bathroom. We notified the front desc staff and they moved us to the different room right away.

This is a team dedicated to guest comfort and hospitality. I felt appreciated and the staff attended to my needs. These people have their eye on the ball. The location is perfect for visitors to The College of Wooster and the amenities in the town of Wooster are charming and immediately close to the hotel. It has a quaint and very safe feeling.

I recently stayed at the Best Western Wooster two times. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was well stocked with good variety. Location in downtown is very convenient and close to Ohio Light Opera. On my last trip one of my family members was not feeling well and the staff went above and beyond to help me make her comfortable. Thank you! I would definitely recommend someone to stay here if they are visiting Wooster.

The staff at the best western go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. We have meetings here all the time because of the service. They make the process very quick an easy. I travel the US and no one even comes close to the service at the Wooster Best Western.

Overall, I liked the hotel. The room was adequate, the price was right, and the location was terrific for our purposes. The location is in the center of a charming town, within walking distance of college-town type shops. The free breakfast was typical of most free motel breakfasts, but adequate to keep you going for a busy day in town.

This hotel was clean and suitable for our needs. They are renovating the hotel so there's renovating pains such as fresh paint smell and noise during the day, but it's nice to see improvements being made in a positive manner. Would stay again! Hot breakfast every day - nice bonus!

Stayed here during a cross country bike ride. Room was clean and we'll laid out. Staff was helpful. No laundry or hot tub. Internet was fast enough to watch Tour de France video. Breakfast set up was fairly complete but thought the OJ from the machine was unnatural colored

the Wooster BW is a nice hotel! It has a great location, a friendly staff and the facility is under a renovation to update this solid and accommodating facility! We will stay there again when visiting Wooster!!!

My girlfriend and I were in the area and looking for a hotel to stay at for a couple nights. Overall it wasn't a bad hotel, although, it could use an upgrade in the lobby area though and the price was a bit high for the quality of the hotel. On the plus side the staff was extremely helpful, especially Helen who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, She even brought us up a Do Not Disturb sign that was missing from our room. The breakfast was pretty good and well stocked. We did use the outdoor pool and liked that as well. Overall, I probably would stay at this Hotel again if I were in the area. I would like to see this hotel look not so run down in the lobby and bar area though.

Clean rooms, good restaurants nearby, located close to college and near route 30. We'll use it again when we return to Wooster. We appreciated the breakfast and the quiet. It looks like plans include enlarging the elevator, which would be good!

We have gone to the Best Western Wooster Hotel for many years and always feel so comfortable there. It is clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast is good and has a nice selection. We enjoy walking around the neighborhood. In the past year and currently they are updating and making improvements all around the place so it is even better.

I've stayed here 4 weekends over the last 3 years. They continue to upgrade/improve the facility. The manager Teresa is fantastic. She went above and beyond to take care of us. She set up extra tables/linen very late on Friday night so we could have a pizza buffet for our softball team. We walked the town of Wooster. 2 blocks from hotel, great farmers market on Saturday. Found a very nice/trendy coffee shop. Going to the micro-brewery tonight 2 blocks away.

My husband and I attended a family wedding and spent 5 days at he Best Western Wooster Hotel. Our stay was perfect in every way. The facility was spotless, and the rooms were very comfortable. The breakfast each morning was fresh, delicious and offered many choices. Teresa took excellent care of us and made us feel very welcomed. By the time we left we had made another good friend in her. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful and made it a point to speak to us and wish us a nice day. We will most certainly recommend this hotel to others, and will be sure to stay there again if the occasion arises. The hotel is being remodeled, and is very nice.

This hotel is in central Wooster unlike many of the others and is close to restaurants & shops etc. The staff were very friendly and there was a large selection at breakfast. Our room was large and well-equipped with microwave & fridge. There was some scratching & paint missing from the bottom of the bathroom door but they are clearly in the midst of renovation. Parking and wifi are free.

Room 355 was totally quiet, had been renovated and was large. DeeDee at the front desk was most helpful and always asking if we needed anything. The breakfast was terrific. I had the best cheese omelet.

Theresa took outstanding care of our group going above and beyond on numerous occasions to exceed our needs. We were in town for multiple days. Breakfast was outstanding each day, and the room was very clean.

We have been using this hotel for close to a year for medium to large groups. They have bee extremely accommodating. The restaurant is close to several nice places to eat and parking at the hotel is easy.

We had a very good experience here. The staff was so helpful--even providing an item we needed for a wedding we coordinated the next morning! We would recommend staying here. We were in a "normal" room but our parents of the groom friends had one of the suites which was fabulous! The hotel is undergoing renovations but that was no bother to us.

We looked at other hotels and choose this one as it was a great value and has been recently remodeled. We booked several rooms for the wedding party. and the accommodations were wonderful from the newly decorated rooms to the breakfast which included egg and cheese omelets, sausage,sausage and biscuits, potatoes,. The beds were great too, best nights sleep in a long time. The best part was the staff, they did what ever they could to make our stay amazing and they succeeded. We we so pleased with the staff, Dee Dee, Helen and Teresa did whatever was needed, they treated us like family. Next time we are in Wooster we will stay here and we highly recommend this hotel.....

This is the third time in the past year I have stayed here, while in town for business meetings. The manager, Teresa, has been fantastic and helpful to work with on setting up reservations for our group, making sure everyone gets breakfast, and generally going out of her way to make sure everyone has what they need. I have organized many other meetings and never worked with someone as organized and helpful as she is. Also, Helen at the front-desk is also very helpful to the group. The hotel is convenient for our group and easy walking distance to several very good restaurants.

I recently stayed with a small school group. The front desk was helpful in accepting our purchase order and helping me make sure that I had all the paperwork needed to take back to our secretary. The hotel was very clean as were our rooms. I've stayed in many hotels and this one was by far one of the cleanest. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again! 

Comfortable room, but it was very complicated to change the TV channels as the TV guide in the room did not help with being able to select which station you wished to watch. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Location to downtown activities was a plus.

We have stayed here a number of times because even though it was dated it was very convenient for us. This time it was under a major renovation, room was much nicer than before and the entire place should be great when it's finished.

We enjoyed two pleasant nights at Wooster's Best Western. A very helpful staff, recently remodeled room and good breakfast. We would recommend it for a weekend away or a business trip. It's close to the downtown that is lively on the weekend and also close to the College of Wooster campus.

Not recommended. There is very little sound proofing so that every noise and all the doors slamming in the hall are enough to keep a person awake at night - and I'm talking about 2 AM on a weekday. The housekeeping staff did not seem to have current information, and after our second night stay, they had not cleaned our room when we returned around 2 PM and I had to go find someone to ask them to clean the room.

Clean room and hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good. Comfortable bed and furniture. Parkling and location were good, wasn't far from the venue we were going to. Lack of good TV channels, bad pool step layout and slow, rickety elevator.

Very inviting! Held wedding reception there and had an awesome time. Theresa handle everything so well. I didn't have a worry and was able to enjoy myself. Everyone on staff was very friendly and efficient. The whole experience from the start of planning to end was wonderful.

Great staff and clean friendly environment great location for food and hanging out. Working down at the college and very close to the work site. Rooms are spacious and the free breakfast is exquisite. All sorts of goodies on the buffet. Also a nice lounge to drink and chat

The Best Western is Wooster is a fantastic hotel for families! We spent a weekend with our young kids at the hotel, and we had a fantastic stay! The hotel was remarkably clean. The pool was well maintained, and the friendly efficient staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. I highly recommend this location to other travelers!

Friend and I stayed here during the Great Lakes Fiber Festival. Convenient in downtown area. Lots of parking. Friendly staff. Large breakfast area with many selections - hot eggs, potatoes, meat, biscuits/gravy plus other carbs, proteins, beverages. Attentive person to restock items. Room comfortable with small fridge.

Nice hotel- clean. Unfortunately the pool was not open. Was attending an event at Wooster College and hotel is about 1/2 mile away. Nice in room coffee maker. Hotel was very quite the night we were there.

Clean, modern hotel centrally located and an easy walk to shops and restaurants, perhaps a mile from the College of Wooster. Staff is friendly and professional. I left a garment in my room and received an email the following day saying it was in the mail!

Recent weekend stay for several family members attending a wedding in town. Recently renovated, and more on the way. Great breakfast, clean and updated rooms. Very convenient (within a few blocks) of some great small town shopping. Front desk staff and housekeeping were attentive and eager to please us.

My husband graduated from College of Wooster nearly 40 years ago, now our son is graduating this weekend! We have been staying at the Best Western off and on over these many years. During our most recent visits, we were thrilled to see that renovations have been happening with updated rooms and really comfy beds. The lobby has transformmed into a nice gathering spot with a lobby bar and seating area. What was once a very limited continental type breakfast area has been opened up into a nice breakfast buffet spread included with the stay. The Best Western is, in our opinion, one of the best hotel locations in Wooster because it is right downtown, walking distance to wonderful restaurants, a great brewery and a two minute drive to the College. The staff is very accommodating and friendly and made us feel very welcome. Oh, and the Best Western continues to be a great value. We are frequent travelers and tend to stay at Marriotts and HIltons and have fairly high expectations. Check out this Best Western if you haven't been here for a few years, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Great place. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean. Breakfast food choices were outstanding and great breakfast area. Room was quite, other than train track that was nearby, and had at least one train per night that blew whistle all the way past the hotel. I was woke up at midnight the first night and about 4 in morning the second night by the trains, but no other issues.

This hotel has great front desk service, paying very much attention to the customers interests. The housemaid service is cleanly, the morning breakfast is a very nice feature and the outdoor pool area and gazebo is a nice place to spend the afternoons. Great hotel.

The staff is very friendly. The rooms have been remodeled and are really nice. The hotel is walking distance from many nice places to eat. I would recommend staying there vs. The Hampton or Hilton Garden Inn.

Hotel was located downtown with good restaurants and entertainment nearby. We had business meeting at the hotel and staff went over and above to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. In addition rooms were clean and neat and breakfast was very good, more than just continental. I would recommend staying when you visit Wooster.

Excellent service and setup for our Eastern Division meeting. Teresa is very helpful and friendly. They provided all of the needs immediately and without hesitation. We will use this hotel again and continue to use is for our local meetings. The lobby and eating areas are also top notch. Great job:)

We, my brother-in-law (cheese heads from Wisconsin) had a very enjoyable over night stay while on a trip to pick up a 12 week old Mastiff puppy. Here is why we liked our stay: 1. Theresa and all the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. 2. Muddy Waters, a 2 minute walk away was recommended and the "Ribs" were some of the biggest and best Joe and I have ever had. 3. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was spotless. 3. Upi, the breakfast attendant, was a real delight and most helpful. 4. The location was great for us to make our short drive to the Ohio Amish County where we picked up Otis the puppy. 5. If you want a great place to stay, just a few minutes from the Amish Country, a very picturesque area of the state, I recommend staying at the Best Western in Wooster, Ohio. My friends and I traveled to Wooster for a reunion, and we were glad we chose the Best Western, because we were able to stay in their newly-renovated suite, and it comfortably fit us all. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and even kept the breakfast open for us. Very accommodating!

We were fortunate enough to stay in the newly renovated suite. The king size bed was super comfortable and the room had plenty of room for four people. The Keurig coffee maker and massive tv were also a huge plus. Both days we missed the timing for breakfast and the staff happily re-opened it for us. Everyone we met was very accommodating. I like staying at the Best Western as you are so close to town - JAFB and other restaurants. And it's a nice walk up to the College of Wooster. Definitely will be coming back, thanks!

The staff at Best Western Wooster Ohio has gone above and beyond to help our work crew with making our stay as comfortable as possible. We travel nationwide as contractors and our schedules do not always stay on a set time frame because of manpower needed at different jobs and the staff has worked and helped us as much as humanly possible to make accommodations for our personnel.

Stayed here for a seminar hotel is an older one but in good condition and undergoing renovation. Very quiet place to stay. Room was very comfortable. Staff easy to work with we had no problems. Breakfast was usual fair but a bit better than most. Would recommend to anyone staying in or near Wooster.

This hotel is perfectly situated in downtown Wooster. An easy walk to the locally owned restaurants, bars, and shops. The hotel has access from both cross-streets which is very convenient for the area. The breakfast area is large and comfortable with booths and tables. The breakfast food is spread across several counters so you are no crammed around other people and waiting for others to finish.

The staff are very friendly and personal. I actually had the lady attending the breakfast room, Carla, chase me out to the parking lot to give me a fruit I was looking to take to work. Teresa is just so nice and sweet. She helped me do my laundry the other day while I had a drink at the newly installed bar. The breakfast is excellent too. What can I say its a good place to stay. nytraveler

The Best Western experience is much better than you might expect. All the staff was very friendly and went out of their way to provide a quality experience. The free breakfast was extensive and delicious. We stayed in the new suite which was beautifully remodeled and reasonably priced. The room had an in-room fridge, microwave, and keurig. The furniture was comfortable and high-end. The couch pulls out into a queen bed if needed. I would definitely stay again.

Great staff, great rooms, excellent internet access and within walking distance of lots of cool little places. The only thing that disappointed me was the short breakfast times. Breakfast runs from 6am to 9am. Most places I've stayed at keeps breakfast available until at least 10am, sometimes running to 11. If you're like me and enjoy sleeping in a little bit when you've got the chance to do it (I'm up at 6am every day during the week, I'm not about to get up that early on my vacation), it's not really enough time to get yourself up and around and down to breakfast.

I've stayed here every time I've come,to Wooster for a ceramics workshop since '07. The upgrades that are being complete are upscale and beautiful. Rooms are clean with many plusses. M-wave, 'frig, beautiful furniture. Staff are friendly and go above and beyond to make me feel at home. Altho I only come once a year, I look forward to seeing Helen and Theresa who recognize and warmly welcome me. Looking forward to next year!

had a bridal shower in one of the meeting rooms and everything was set up and read yto go. Teresa Bright was fabulous and the caterer suggested was great. The room was intimate and just the right size for our group and very private.

Visited during remodeled. Hotel is out of this world. Jaime and Teresa are wonderful employees that make you feel at home. Comfortable bed and bathroom. Internet was fast and easy to use. Breakfast is out of this world.

Our company has been using the Wooster Best Western hotel for several months now while we work with a local company. They have been very accommodating to our business needs and the facilities have provided us with a great place to stay while we work in Wooster. The staff is friendly and helpful and eager to make your stay a pleasant one. They serve a good breakfast every morning and there is plenty of comfortable seating. The facilities are complete and have pretty much everything you need from a self serve laundry facility to a very nice workout room. The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of the business district of Wooster (which is a quaint little village center) and is within a short walking distance of all the shops and restaurants.

The hotel continues to get better and better. You can tell they are working hard to make improvements. The staff was extremely helpful and was not only very nice to the host of the event, but also very nice to all that attended. Teresa was fantastic.
