    « Great hotel »

The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. Rooms very comfortable and clean and big with everything you needed. Fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Good selection of food for breakfast. Pool was a welcoming attraction. Boston Pizza restaurant next door.

    « Great place »

It was our first time stay in Innisfail and we enjoyed this great town in Central Alberta. We were thankful for quite and peaceful place to stay; and we enjoyed that we were able to meet old friends and renew our past with the present. We would enjoy returning for another visit.

    « Nice hotel »

I always enjoy my stay at this hotel. The staff are very nice people, the hotel is clean and safe. A good variety of food for breakfast. Popcorn in the evening. Right next to Boston Pizza. It is a 5 minute drive to the nearby grocery store, gas station, McDonald's and A and W. My alarm clock did not work.

« Handy location at the entrance to town »

Located right at the edge of town, the BW Innisfail Inn is easy to find and to get to. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay in the area. Parking is ample and the hotel is handy to 50th St., the town's main drag, where you will find restaurants, grocery store, gas, etc. We stayed 2 nights in August, before and after a wedding. Rooms are large and feature both coffee maker and a small refrigerator, the latter most welcome given our picnic plans. Beds are large and comfortable with the usual abundance of pillows. A large chair and ottoman combination near the window was appreciated as sitting on the bed all the time can get to be a bit of a drag. Breakfast was adequate if uninspiring. I'm all for truth in advertising but hot breakfast items labelled ?egg product?, ?meat product? and ?potato product? kept me with recognizable fruit, yogurt and toast instead. Coffee is plentiful and good and we appreciated being able to help ourselves at any time of day. Our room was on the rear side of the hotel, overlooking the highway interchange. The traffic is pretty much constant and at night, the lights of the overpass will make you very happy to have the heavy blackout drapes. If there is one comment I could make is that the hotel décor is a bit dated. The overwhelming impression is of dark brown ? interior as well as exterior. A little light paint would go a long way both to freshen up the hotel's appearance and reduce the need to have the room lights on pretty much all the time.

    « Pleasure »

Travelling through Innisfail and just needed one night. Easy access off highway, local convenient shopping nearby. Easy check in and out. Breakfast included with stay. No issue with need for a late check out.

    « Excellent »

Clean rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast had a good selection. The pool was closed when I first arrived but was reopened later that night. It was quiet and I actually had the pool and hot tub to myself

« What a lucky one night stay. »

I was visiting some friends in Innisfail and had to stay one night at Best Western. The hotel was great because it had swimming pool plus the hot tub. My room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was excellent. Also found Pikachu for Pokémon Go.What a great one night stay.

    « Small town comfort »

This hotel is very clean, in a good location and has extremely comfortable beds. The breakfast was very tasty, hot and an abundance. We have stayed on numerous occasions. The only thing that I can say I didn't like was that I was not offered a Travel Agent discount. Other than that we were very pleased.

« hotel is new, but staff clueless »

I stayed for 2 nights with my 88 yr old mom who has dementia. We were woken up past midnight the second night due to staff error by SOMEONE TRYING TO GET INTO OUR ROOM!!!!! If a hotel isn't safe, why stay there? Won't make that mistake again! Staff breifly & insincerely apologized in the morning but didn't take any responsibility for their error "(we're only human" etc) - isn't that their business? YIKES!

« Great Stay- Very Clean Modern hotel »

We stayed here for 2 nights while attending a nearby wedding. Checkin was a breeze & front desk staff are incredibly helpful & kind. Rooms are large & comfy. Nice having a fridge & microwave. The pool was good to have for the kids, but a bit deep- so bring water wings & a beach ball or dive toys- something to do in the pool. Gym was very well equipped. Breakfast was plentiful - waffles, toast, hashbrowns, eggs, fruit, cereal, coffee/tea. Close enough to walk to No Frills for groceries or McDs/Tims. Would stay here again.

    « Comfortable and Caring »

I enjoyed my stay at this Best Western. I was in Innisfail to do a tandem skydive with friends, and to visit with family and friends. The staff I met were friendly and caring. I didn't try the breakfast in the morning but I'm sure it would match up to the quality of this hotel. A nice bonus is the popcorn machine offering popcorn to take to your room. I'm sure anyone checking in with kids would appreciate it.

    « Another great stay! »

This is about our 25th stay at this property. Many of these stays were for the purpose of elder care in Innisfail, and since then strictly for leisure. Although there are many hotels in Red Deer, which is very close, we have never considered staying any place but here. Well maintained, nice people, good breakfast.

« Best Hotel in Innisfail »

Pleasant and helpful staff. Excellent WiFi Internet. Great Hot Tub and Pool. Very Nice Rooms and Features. The Morning Hostess is an excellent source for information on local restaurants and shops. Rooms are kept neat and clean.

    « BW Innisfail »

Excellent property. Very clean and conveniently located. Service was excellent and staff very friendly. Hotel is close to highway but I never heard traffic noise. Property is fairly new but everything was very acceptable to me.

« Great Hotel off the QEII Highway! »

My family and I were in Innisfail for a surprise wedding, and decided instead of driving back and forth to the city we'd just stay in town with our daughter. Now my reviews are based on the fact that our daughter is special needs (Legally Blind, Slight Autism, high sensory), so I look at every aspect of the hotel when writing. I called mid afternoon on Friday, and the wonderful lady who answered let me know that there was some rooms available for the weekend. I explained we were traveling with our special needs daughter, so we were looking for something spacious. She let me know that they had a King suite available, and that I could grab the AMA rate which would save some money. Having never stayed at the Best Western (let alone in a small town) I wasn't sure what to expect. Checking in was a breeze! The Front desk agent was amazing, took the time to explain the breakfast, where to find the snack machines and how to get to our room. Lobby: Extremely spacious, great sitting area, breakfast area is a wonderful size so anyone can access. Elevator was larger than you would find at most hotels, making taking a luggage cart and having our daughter with us a breeze as well. Room: We were up on the 3rd floor, King suite. I Have to say the suite is much better than you would find at a Ramada, Hilton or Holiday Inn Hotel! Our daughter had no issues navigating the main room where the very comfortable King bed was, the bathroom or the 2nd room where the Queen pull out awaited her. 2 Flat Screen TV's were available in both rooms with TELUS Optik, and the heating/air conditioning units worked great! The bathroom was well appointed, with a wonderful shower/tub and plenty of towels for all. The rooms were extremely quiet, could be the fact we were at the end of the hall but we didn't hear any noise from other rooms and the highway noise didn't bother us at all. The dark blinds in both rooms, means you'll need to set your alarms otherwise you run the risk of sleeping in because the beds are so nice! The parking lot offers lots of spacious parking, along with a couple of oversized handicapped stalls. Never had an issue during the weekend trying to find anywhere to park. Located next door is the local Boston Pizza, and not too far away you'll find Mcdonalds, A&W and Tim Hortons! Check out again was easy, lots of luggage carts available.. New lady on the front desk training, she had a couple of slight issues but the agent who was with her walked her through the problems and we were on our way this morning in no time! Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who needs somewhere to stay along the QEII or while in Innisfail!

    « Hockey Tournament Weekend! »

Our entire team stayed at this location for provincial hockey tournament. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and the pool was excellent! The breakfast has a good variety. We would like to say a great big Thank You to Robyn at the front desk.. She was super helpful all weekend, she made our visit outstanding! The staff had to deal with a few issues with other guests not following the rules and they did a good job keeping their professionalism and dignity. (Even when the guests didn't) We would book again with your hotel.

    « Super Hotel »

This hotel was excellent and the service was great. I can't say enough about the way I was treated. I had a corner room and the Fortis trucks ran all night and that was a bit annoying but that doesn't happen very much. Otherwise my stay was crazy good!

    « Comfy & Nice »

I needed to stay near Innisfail for a few days. This Best Western is the perfect place; comfortable, clean, efficient and everything you need. Breakfast was great and I didn't hear anyone else from my room. Love the big high definition TV. And Norma, the receptionist, was extremely nice and helpful. I've travelled extensively over the years and this Hotel is just plain good. Thank you Best Western!

« should have stayed at the Econo Lodge »

If you like slamming doors, the sound of the overpass by your head and the toilet running with every flush this is the place to stay. Not impressed at all. This is suppose to be the better option, but, wasn't. Not worth the price of admission.

    « Nice Hotel »

We had a very nice stay. We found the hotel to be very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a great location to all surrounding areas. Would definitely stay there again when we come to town.

    « Tourny Weekend »

Great weekend. The hotel was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was adequate. Staff was courteous. Family all slept well. Would stay there again. Hockey team behaved and took advantage of the pool. Best part son forgot his blue tooth speaker and when we called back a few hours after checkout it was at the front desk. Love honest people.

    « Awesome Staff! »

We have been to this hotel twice, in the summer we stayed here while on a trip to see the Discovery Wild Animal Park, and then chose this as a place to stay again for a night away. The staff is amazing and always available to help, and the hotel is kept clean and tidy. There were 5 of us (3 adults and 2 children) and they were very accommodating, and made sure our rooms were next to each other. I was impressed with how clean the breakfast room is kept and with the staff, as they are quick to clean up after guests and to help with anything needed.

« The staff is trying »

A newer Best West, just off the high way. Front lobby is nice, rooms are big, well laid out. Beds are comfy, lots of pillows. Large bathroom, lots of hot water. My suite had a separate room with couch and tv. Gets you away from the "hotel feel" Everything was very clean, well maintained. Breakfast was ok, hot eggs and bacon. The dining area only has 6 tables, so the tables can be "full" with 6 customers. In room coffee is really bad. The little single filter coffee machines used here give out warm brown water. I really wish Best western would up their standards and ban these little rigs. Get a Kuerig! Respect the Bean! Internet was horrifyingly SLOW. They have restrictions on the access which makes it just about unusable. Staff was very helpful and concerned about this. They went out of their way to get confirmation from their provider that the internet will be improved shortly. Thank you Bonnie.

    « Hotel Accommodation »

We stayed their overnight for a family reunion. Just off the QE2 easy to get to. Place was clean and comfortable. Staff friendly. Breakfast supplied included cereal, muffins, toast, juice, coffee etc. the usual.

« Exceeds most of my expectations. »

Another experience where I feel we got good return for our money. Nothing is too fancy but goes beyond the calibre of most economy hotels. I hardly ever have a problem with Best Western and this was another good one.

    « Couldn't ask for a better stay........ »

Front desk staff were friendly & accommodating. Amazingly clean & spacious room. Very comfortable beds & pillows. Good quality linens. Fridge, microwave, coffee pot. It is just off the highway but we didn't hear any road noise. Very good hot breakfast with bacon, hash brown patties, egg patty, waffles, French toast, breads, English muffins, bagels, pasties, yogurt, assorted muffins, cereal, juices, coffee & tea. Small indoor pool & hot tub area. Exercise room, business centre, laundry room. We will definitely stay here again & would recommend this best western to anyone & everyone. It is close to other eateries, just up the road from the wildlife park & easy access to the main highway. Boston pizza is the building next to it & the food & service were good there as well.

    « Clean, Comfortable & Friendly »

I stayed here with my son for 5 nights and everything was great! Friendly staff, Great Breakfasts, Comfortable Beds, Clean Rooms! I found it very convenient that Boston Pizza is right next door as well so we could walk to dinner. I would reccommend this hotel. They need to get a TV Guide however, That is my only negative comment.

« Super clean, awesome staff »

staff is wonderful. Rooms are the cleanest I've seen in a long time. Breakfast is great. Staff went out of their way to accommodate us for a small gathering in the evening. Highly recommend this place - we are here for five nights. Second time we've stayed here - won't stay anywhere else in this beautiful little town

    « Perfect Stay »

I recently spent a couple of nights at this hotel and was totally pleased. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hot tub and pool were a great way to relax after long days spent out having fun. The hotel is close to the highway, and not far from train tracks yet it was very quite. The breakfast were very good, and the staff were right on top of keeping things hot and stocked. The breakfast room was clean and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They really made me feel welcome and accommodated anything I needed. There is also a really yummy restaurant right next door. I will definitely stay here next year when visiting Innisfail again.
