    « Nice stay. »

Nice stay.Good location.Staff helpful.Did some history research in Beech Grove.Birthplace of Steve Mcqueen.Close by.A display on his career and the hospital he was born is huge.Still stands but not in use.Worked out very well.

    « Clean & Convenient »

Hotel provides good basic service and value whether you are in town for business or pleasure. Room was clean and comfortable. Many restaurant choices nearby including many within walking distance. The only negative for me was the lack of fitness equipment if working out daily is part of your routine.

    « Location,Location, Location ! (especially if SB on I-65). »

I basically chose this place through AAA and Google Maps.My priorities are price and location,( how many eateries/ bars are within walking distance.Because if I've been driving all day I DON'T want to drive to dinner)! This place checks ALL of the boxes. On getaway day it's past the morning rush hour crush,(SB). The property has 4 bar/ eateries within 100 yds, and 3 more within 200 yds. With in 1 mi are more restaurants, gas stations and a huge grocery store (Meijer). The property itself is currently under renovations,(as seems to be most of the chain). The room was clean and comfortable ( w/ new darker shades). The sitting chair/ ottoman is comfortable (but not quite as the sofa). The TV channels have 41 choices ( mostly popular but without NBCSN or regional FOX sports). Breakfast was as good as any in this price range (eggs sausage, biscuits/gravy, fruit, cerial).

    « Clean and Comfortable »

I called the hotel direct because I was staying in Indianapolis for a procedure the following day at Indiana University Hospital. I choose this because of the close proximity and the rate I received. The internet worked fine. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I will be staying there again.

    « BEST Western »

Kristen, Amber, Aj, Becca, and Jessica were all so caring. The hotel has done alot of upgrades. Breakfast was tasty and there's tons of options. Beds were very comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Very pleased with my stay and will be back!

« Great place for great coupon discounted price »

Very friendly greeting at front desk when we arrive exhausted after 12 hr drive from NC. Nice sized room, clean and very quiet. Comfortable bed. Accommodated our need to have room near door to bring in bikes for security. Breakfast included hot waffles, biscuit and sausage gravy, fresh blueberries as well as usual fare. Received 10% coupon to use at Texas Roadhouse across parking lot. Would definitely return of in area again.

    « Great Value »

The rooms were clean and included all the amenities that I was looking for in an overnight stay with my family. The breakfast was excellent. I have paid a lot more and received a lot less at similar hotels. This hotel is a great value for single overnight stays.

    « Family stay »

Very nice hotel, and the staff was excellent . The rooms were clean and very quiet. Only complaint is the wifi seemed slow . But other than that , I could not have asked for a better stay .Their is a steak and shake in walking distance and Texas Roadhouse right across the parking lot .

    « A motel wanna be »

This place wants to be a motel but it's got a long way to go.... No elevator, uncomfortable beds and pillows, strange odors, unusual menagerie of guests,"free" breakfast bar that is less than 24 inches long, unusual aromas in the no air conditioned hallways, very small TV with limited channels and poor bathroom plumbing. Cost was over $100 per night including taxes. Drive a little further to find better accommodations for the same price.

« Easy Inn and out »

This was an overnight stop to visit with a friend on a road trip. We usually use Best Western as a comfortable and reliable stopover and were not disappointed. We have stayed here in the past and will likely stay on an future trips.

« Not Impressed at All »

While the front desk staff was friendly at check-in, our stay went downhill from there. The keys didn't work in the outside door, or in our hotel room. There is no elevator, and we had a lot of luggage to haul up to the second floor. We could've lived with that, but our room was not clean. The beds were made, but there was debris on the floor (fuzz, lint, food particles, etc.), and the bathroom was dirty. I had expected queen sized beds, and they were double at best, and very firm (and sagged in the middle). There was a smell in the room, and when we entered, it was close to 90 degrees. With all of that, we only stayed one night, and found elsewhere to go. Upon leaving, there was a sewer smell in the stairway, and several more patrons had trouble with their keys. I won't be staying there again, despite the friendly staff.

« Great location for Downtown Area and Activities »

Enjoyed our stay. It has many various restaurants and businesses in the near vicinity. Clean room and good breakfast. Close to freeways to downtown area and activities. Large rooms with sitting area. Computer Wi-Fi. access. Close to Indianapolis Speedway. Will return in the future. Recommend location with family.

« Way overpriced for this area and hotel quality! ?? »

Stayed here very run down. Breakfast was gross. Pool ok. Rooms need updating. Thought it was overpriced worst BW I have ever stayed at!!! ?????? will not stay there again or one like it!!! Laundry was overpriced $1.75 for wash $1.75 for dry. Other BW washes are free and $1.00 dry. I didn't do my laundry! ??????

    « Nice 1st class stay..Great Rooms..Awesome staff »

Stayed here twice in 3 months..What a nice motel,...The 2nd time after my mom booked The Motel 6 down the road by mistake(What a horrible place that was)..Luckily I got out of the 2nd night there and made it back here..Great comfortable excellent nightlife..everything is right by here...An AMERICAN front desk here(Hard to find anymore..

« Nice place to spend a night »

My wife and i stayed here one night on the way to Nashville. We found it to have a very friendly staff at check in and at check out. The hotel was clean and the room was very clean. The price was reasonable for a place to sleep. The breakfast was good and not too crowded as some have said. The shower was good. There are a few bars and restaurants across the street for some night time relaxing. I would stay here again when we head to Nashville.

« Would not be my first choice again »

Not one of the "best" Best Westerns I have ever stayed in. We were here for 7 days for a bowling tournament. Had to request room change due to some type of leaking sewer gases in bathroom. When I complained, I was handed a can of Lysol spray. Complementary breakfast lacking. Eating area does not have enough room to accommodate guest. Overall cleanliness lacking in several areas including rooms. Had several roaches in bathroom.

    « Bowling Tourny »

Friendly staff, comfy beds, good breakfast, pool small but nice, very nice place for the price. Location is perfect shopping and restaurants very close. The only down fall I have is the humming sound that the bathroom makes when the light is flipped on which is no biggie at all. We will definitely use this place again.

« My stay at BW »

We only come to Indy when we want to visit family. The price for this hotel is getting a little expensive for the accommodations. I see it's only rated a 2 and a half stars out of possible 5. They only have the two handicap spots and I have seen cars not handicap parked in those. It's an ok place, but not the Ritz.

« There was a bug on the bed »

It was 11 at night and there was a bug on the bed so we called the front desk and they offered us a new room. When we got to the new room it was really dirty so they gave us another one which was accessible and two queen beds instead of two king beds and it smelled like smoke which was disgusting but we were so tired we just went to sleep because the front desk lady who helped us change rooms said the manager would be at the hotel the next morning. The next morning we woke up and went to the front desk and the manager wasn't there so we asked and the guy said we could talk to him so we explained everything and he said well it's not my fault you can talk to whoever booked your room. He was really not nice about it and he was very rude. They didn't even give us a refund for giving us a room with smaller beds than we had paid for. I would never stay at this hotel ever again and you shouldn't either.

    « problems with room »

There were two issues with the room. Drippy tub and vibrating vent. Reported them. Was told by front desk the manager would contact us. Never happened. Very disappointing to start your vacation this way.

    « Good to stay »

Stood for one night so couldn't get full experience but the room is just a plain room with a nice bathroom. Pool is indoor and heated ???? lots a place to get food and go grocery shopping if needed. I thought it was nice and wish I could stay longer

    « A Pleasurable Stay »

From the personal greeting to the amicable au revoir, an excellent stay. We have stayed here more than once on our way to visit family. We will definitely continue to make our over-nights at this location.

    « GJNC »

My family and I stayed at this property for 10 days for a girls volleyball national championship tournament. We were given limited options of motels, being that we are required to book through a tournament housing service, which contracts through local motels. We chose this motel from the options available for the location and price. The fact that it was a good price should have been out first clue. I did read many of the previous reviews on this site, and it sounded good. Wrong. There were some positives. The room is a good size and the beds are comfortable. Now for the negatives. Housekeeping is poor at best. Apparently, they only really clean your rooms when you check out. They remade our beds daily, with the same sheets, even after day 4. They vacuum only the entryway to the room (and that's after after we asked them to vacuum.) They sweep the middle of the bathroom and wipe out the sink and vanity immediately around the sink. They don't touch the toilet. We had fun writing messages in the dust on the tables in our room. One day, housekeeping did not come to our room until after we were back for the day at 4:15 p.m. to clean. Someone spilled a milkshake in the stairway and we walked by that for a day. There is no elevator, so everyone on the second floor walked by it multiple times. One of the few times I was greeted by the front desk staff was on check in, and that's because I walked up to the desk and stood there. The front staff stay seated most of the time with their eyes only just above desk level and avoid eye contact. One of the front personnel seems to spends as much time out front smoking as she does at the desk. The breakfast is uninspired and never varies, except for the coffee creamer selection. At the beginning of the week they have flavored creamers, but they must get a stipend, because it runs out and you're left with the plain until the next week. There is not enough seating in the breakfast room and no one checks on it during the 3 hours of breakfast to wipe down tables. A small frustration was a lack of vending machines (just the soda machine in the pool area.) There were some members of our team staying at a Best Western in Plainsfield. Their motel was very clean, the staff was super friendly, and they changed up the breakfast daily. Go there if at all possible. The overall big problem with this property is a lack of desire to put forth a quality product and to serve the customer, which obviously starts with the management.

    « Meh...It Could Be Better »

My wife and I recently stayed here and we were disappointed. Our issues were very much in line with many other reviews that I should have checked before we booked the room. We were in a time crunch so I didn't do my normal research prior to booking. The Good: The room was large. The bed was comfortable. The Bad: Housekeeping isn't their strong point. We had the same issue as another reviewer in that it looks like someone had squished bugs on the walls and smeared them. We told ourselves that's what it was because somehow, we preferred that over boogers. lol - There is no elevator. - There are no vending machines in the vending rooms on each floor - just a soda machine in the pool area. - Breakfast is served in the lobby right by the front desk so you have people walking past the food with all their stuff to check out but there is a breakfast room with a few tables to sit and eat. We would have rather had the food in the other room and the tables in the lobby so we just didn't eat there. - The AC did not work well and was very loud all night - The carpets could stand to be shampooed - After checkin, we read a lot about bug issues and after seeing the squished bugs, we decided to leave out bags in the car and only took in what we needed to get dressed after showering. We wont stay again.

    « Plumbing Issues »

I wouldn't stay again. The service was poor. We had a toilet that wouldn't flush. I had to stop at the front desk to ask the lady to send someone to fix it while we left for the evening. After returning late, one of my children used the toilet and it overflowed. I called the front desk and found out that she forgot about fixing the problem. I had her bring me a plunger, and I fixed the problem myself!

« Room with TWO King Beds!! »

Nothing like being on the road for 9 hours with two kids and checking in to a BW that had two very comfortable king size beds. This BW also had a very friendly staff, the breakfast was great and laid out very nicely, comfortable rooms and the pool was bright and clean and just right for the kids. We will stay here again!

    « Great staff!!! »

Room was clean and staff was more than helpful. Management was kind and caring. Breakfast was delicious. Pool area was clean and building was safe. I will stay here every time I visit Indianapolis. Very well managed.

    « A great place to stay. »

I and my family stayed at Best Western South recently and it was great. The pool was refreshing..the breakfast was better then you would expect...the beds were very comfortable with plenty of towels. By far one of the best places I have stayed at in a long time and the staff out did themselves regardless of their job and I thank them for it. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again and again. The price was by far lower then surrounding hotels/motels, without any loss of comfort and cleanliness, or hospitality.

    « June 2016 »

Perfect location, and great staff. However, was disappointed with the room. Found several roaches crawling on the walls when the light was flipped on in the middle of the night. The hotel needs to invest in more regular Fumigations.

« Indy Race Choice Motel »

Great Location to Freeways and Restaurants , Clean, Happy Employees. Washer and Dryer available. Pool was out of service to look for coins..Coupons given for Local Restaurants. Desk Computer Available.

    « Only in a pinch »

The hotel was average at best. The smell in the lobby and hallways was terrible. I know it is the midwest, but it stunk. Breakfast was terrible. Food was either burnt to a crisp or ice cold. Rooms were clean. Hotel is older and had a few upgrades. Bathrooms were iffy.

« Nice place to stay »

All the people we encountered were great especially A.J. the manager. He went out of his way to accommodate our needs. The place was clean and neat, maid service was wonderful. We were very comfortable there. Would gladly return.

« Nice place, great location »

Nice rooms, clean, comfy beds. It is across the road from a few restaurants, has an indoor pool, and a hot breakfast in the morning. The internet was slow but we were all the way in the back. Enjoyed our stay.

« One of the Best Stays »

Very nice! Clean rooms, comfortable beds and some of the best front desk staff EVER. Amber was outstanding in every way. One of the toilets had a small malfunction but the staff accomodated us quickly!! No complaints at all. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

« the best western is the best »

this hotel is excellent we love the staff and the beds are very comfortable. we always stay at the best western, we love the breakfast and the staff is so nice. i would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. the best western is also very clean and they gave us extra towels and pillows. they are wonderful.

    « Ask for Kristen »

Typical Best Western, except for the outstanding customer service of the night people, specifically Kristen. Worked with me to save me money on the room, offered personal service including delivering towels while we were swimming, providing directions, etc.

    « Excellent Customer Service »

Kristin at the front desk is the epitome of customer service. She was friendly and helpful. She went out of way to tell us about the near by discounts on restaurants when she heard us talking about dinner. She saved us $20 by giving us coupons for the nearby Stacked Pickle. I am a gold member with Best Western rewards and it was nice to see my name on the paper they had displayed at the check in desk. We also received a bottle of water and bag of chips in our room since I'm a gold member. The room was a good size and nicely updated. The pool was very small and cold but my kids still enjoyed it. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

    « 2nd Stay this year »

We stayed here early in January for a few days and when we came back to Indy last month we didn't hesitate at all in staying here again for a two week stay. The cost is very reasonable and the facility was more than satisfactory. The morning breakfast is quite satisfactory, although our stay last month was for two weeks and after two weeks it was starting to get monotonous. But it was good overall. We also found the staff personable and friendly. What more can we ask? We'd certainly stay again if in town.

« Great location and price »

Quality hotel with a great price in a great location. Easy access to all of my points of interest in the Indianapolis-South region. Good nights sleep with a hot breakfast in the morning. Indoor heated pool was a nice feature for our travel team to unwind and relax.

    « "Top Notch Staff & A Great Price" »

Many people might not think of Indianapolis as a vacation destination but having lived there I knew there would be plenty to do during a spring-break get-away for my step-daughter and her two kids. This Best Western is only 7 miles from downtown which is where attractions such as the Zoo & Children's Museum are located. They have a hot breakfast which is nice but since we stayed several days it would be nice if the offerings were varied, such as bacon one day and sausage the next instead of sausage every day & I missed the peanut butter and English muffins most buffets now offer. You couldn't ask for a better front desk staff and the price of $79 a night was great for a big city, especially since many hotels were raising their rates that weekend, which was the Easter holiday weekend.

« On par with Drury Inn »

We stayed here for the weekend of March 18-20th. I chose this hotel because the Drury Inn (which was my first choice, was already sold out, booked 6 weeks in advance of travel dates.) One reason I chose this hotel was the free breakfast (one less meal to budget for) and that someone mentioned on here that they have KING sized beds for the same price as a queen. Since I wasn't sure there would be 4 or 5 of us traveling, when I booked, it was a definite plus. The staff was courteous and helpful. We got a really late start and so with time-change it was already nearing 8pm when we checked in. They had two coupons to two of the nearby restaurants (we couldn't take advantage because of dietary restrictions), one of them was 10% off your meal at the Steak House across the street. One quick note: This hotel doesn't have an elevator (don't ask me why), but when I made our reservations I requested a room on first floor (my mom has really bad back, hips and knees) and they were very accommodating of my request. Like I said, I did book 6 weeks in advance of my stay, so I don't know how accommodating they can be on short notice. We stayed at the end of the hallway on first floor. It was quiet, until the people above us came in, we could hear them walking around until about 10p when they went to bed (I was so exhausted from driving I literally passed out way before that). The room was really very nice for the price, it had been recently re-carpeted and the door had not been shaved down to accommodate the thicker fibers, causing the door to be very stiff (which was actually a plus when pulling the luggage trolley in and out), but will wear down the carpet faster than if the door had been properly shaved down. The beds were very comfortable (a little too firm in my personal opinion, but I like a roasted-marshmallow-on-a-cloud type of mattress). I brought my own pillow, so no comment on the pillows. The room included a mini-fridge/freezer and a microwave. These were really nice since we brought some fruit along with us and we were able to keep and reheat leftovers. I don't know a whole lot about T.V.s and as long as the picture isn't snowy I don't care. I think there was a good selection of channels (not that anything worth watching was actually on). But I know they had two Fox movie channels and the Travel channel and HBO (if HBO is actually a selling point anymore). I really liked the bathroom. The sink is in the bathroom proper and the counter is very long and wide. The sink to set to the left, leaving lots of space for another person to do makeup while you brush your teeth (as long as you don't mind sharing). The bathtub was a good size and the shower had multiple sprayer options. The drain, however, was VERY slow. My mom finally took a plastic spoon and cleared it a little. I think it was only a little slow when we first got there, but after three days worth of hair washes, the drain had all but stopped. On Sunday, because of going to an evening event and wanting to get ready beforehand we asked for a late check out ($10/hour after 12p) we originally asked for 3p ($30+tax), but the maid(s) didn't get the memo, so they knocked on our door several different times. Then we weren't anywhere near packed when 3p came around so I moved the check out time to 4 (the latest without getting charged for a whole day, because the maids had to come in to clean), well because the maids had kept coming by and knocking on the door, we only got charged for the one hour (3-4p) instead of all 4 hours - a super perk! And really the maid's didn't bother us too much and they were very apologetic. A note about the coffee pot in the room: On Sunday I slept in well past breakfast and so my mom was a dear and brought me back some oatmeal packets from breakfast and then I could just run some water through the coffee pot and eat it. Well, I'm glad I was running water through it, there was A LOT of left-over coffee in it. So, I would personally recommend running one or two cups of water through it before making your cup of coffee. But, it wasn't dirty, just had residue in it. And you will be waiting a good 5 minutes for 6oz of water to run through the pot. Breakfast: It was fast and tasty, not a ton of variety, but it was also free and I am not one to snub free food. My mom liked the biscuits and gravy over Drury's recipe and while the eggs were pre-done they had good flavor. There is a waffle iron with fruit toppings. Other breakfast choices beyond the waffles, eggs, biscuits and gravy included sausage, tater tots (or hash-browns, I forget which) yogurt, oatmeal, and a few cold cereals (Raisin bran? ... only four and none that were gluten free) They did offer both 2% and skim milk. They only served milk, Lemonade, coffee and hot water to drink (not too sure who wants lemonade at 7a verses orange juice?) The coffee was really rather good, not too bitter or strong. I was hoping that I could fill my Tervis with coffee for the day, but the coffee dispenser is automatically formatted for a 10oz cup and I did not fancy standing there filling and refilling a 10oz cup to fill my Tervis, so I drank my two cups at breakfast and was good. The breakfast eating area is rather small, but the hotel itself is smaller and we all seemed to come down in shifts. If they saw, or you informed them, that something had run out, even if it was 5 minutes to the scheduled end of breakfast, they refilled it promptly. And they never rushed you out or cleared up before you were done. We sat and enjoyed coffee together Saturday for about 15-20 minutes after breakfast 'ended' and some stragglers were still getting plates. The only down side to this hotel is they do not accept pets, so I had to leave my small dog at home. We did not go to the pool or the work-out room so I really don't know anything about them. I did see that the pool looked rather small, but I don't know if it's heated or not. Overall, I think this Hotel was perfect for our needs and if I ever have the strong desire to come back to Indianapolis (which I seriously doubt since I was super unimpressed by the city itself) I will most likely book here again. Unless, I have to bring my dog in which case I'll have to find another place. But really, this place was very nice and I would stay here again.

    « Pleasantly surprised »

I am a rewards member but a few bad experiences led me to experience other hotel chains. It has been years since I've stayed at a Best Western. I received a personal greeting (as a rewards member). I felt like they were really making an effort to give personalized services. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great with biscuit & gravy, cooked eggs (round for biscuit), as well as the regular items you would find for a continental breakfast. We were indecisive on stay the second night that we had booked. When we explained this, they were understanding. We did decide to stay. The room was clean and quiet. My husband is from this area and has ties here, we will absolutely stay at this location again. Highly recommended!

    « unpleasant and unorganized »

Made me and my guest feel like second class citizens. The front desk clerk was very welcoming yet once we were ready to turn down and enjoy the amenities they were not in working order. The ice machine on the second floor where one of my business partners and his wife stayed room 220 did not have a working Ice machine on the level. Also where me and my fiancé slept on the first floor in a supposing whirlpool suite did not work at all. The water just shot out on the floor in the bathroom. We then went to breakfast and got treated like we were animals, with only the picked over scaps that was in the warmers. I asked about all of these issues and was told that its nothing she can do until the manager AJ, gets back on Monday. He does not work on weekends.

    « Below Average »

Hotel is supposed to be non-smoking, our room reeked of smoke and we were told the hotel was booked and no other rooms available. The hairdryer didn't work. Multiple electrical outlets were out of order. The real rub is this hotel experience is overpriced. It was a $70/night hotel for which we paid $132/night.

    « Good clean room. »

Good basic hotel. Room was clean and had been updated. Staff at front desk very friendly and helpful. No elevator but that wasn't too much of a hassle. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good - several hot items to choose from as well as the typical juice, cereal and muffins. Would stay there again.

    « Jw was full »

I had to go with this hotel as a last resort, Glad I did I will be staying here from now on. The only bad thing is they're changing out the carpet and so it looked a little cluttered other than that I would give it two thumbs up.

    « weekend in Indianapolis »

Room was nice. Bed was comfortable. Renovations were in process so there was new carpet in the hallways. Friendly staff. Very convenient to downtown and other activities. Would go back any time. Would just like to see in all Best Western's a place to sit in a chair and put your feet up. Not just BW but all motels. This had a desk and one chair but all in all a pretty nice place and a very good value.

« Horrible do not stay!!!! »

Smoking allowed did nothing about complaint until I asked for associates name and then he yelled like a 2 year old throwing a tantrum. then has the nerve to knock on my door to inspect my room after i was the one that complained about the smoking. ruined my weekend getaway with my wife. thanks alot!!!!

    « Show Choir Trip »

This hotel is undergoing renovations but with minimal impact on our stay. We were a show choir group that was over 100 kids strong. As one of the chaperones, I was pleasantly surprised at the hospitality of Kristen at the front desk from the minute we walked in the front door to the last minute that she was working. I cannot rave enough about how great she was!. The rooms were accommodating as well. The only fault we found was that some did smell like cigarette smoke even though the property is supposed to be non-smoking. Kudos to this hotel and especially Kristen for the great trip and location!

    « Business »

Is a very pleasant atmosphere with friendly workers nice soft beds the pool is great The breakfast is good The new carpet is very nice The waiting room of pleasant with Wi-Fi accessibility it is located in the very convenient location it is a very good place to stay

    « Clean hotel »

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable, the shower pressure is a little weak but not bad. The only complaint we had was the vent fan in the bathroom runs constantly and sounds like a jet engine when you turn the light on. Keeping the door closed helped with that. We would stay here again on business.

Terrible wifi and the worst breakfast of any motel I have stayed at. They were replacing carpet in all of the rooms, and the smell of new carpet was overwhelming to me because of allergic reaction of the chemicals in new carpet. They did find one room that had old carpet in it, and the smell was manageable. Great location near a variety of eateries.

    « very clean hotel »

the staff who greeted us was very accommodating. the room was clean and comfortable. the huge king bed swallowed me up. i didn't want to get up the next day. the breakfast was a hot breakfast with biscuits and gravy (boy did my husband like that) the only negative about the experience was the pool was closed for our stay with no reason posted... but i didn't pry. i had the king suite with jacuzzi and it was heavenly. a must stay.

    « Good location »

We stayed for 2 nights due to a sports event at the Indianapolis Convention Center. The hotel was clean and the girls at the front desk were very accommodating. The hotel is located 10-11 miles from the Convention Center, easy to get to and restaurants within walking distance. Overall, we had a nice, hassle-free stay.

« Clean room, friendly staff »

The room was clean and the staff friendly. The room was very clean and the king sized bed a plus! There were restaurants within walking distance, which was convienent after driving all day. Easy access off and on the interstate.

    « Visiting Family »

We stayed her since I am a Best Western member and was a good location for visiting family.Hotel was a little dated but clean. There was some updating of the lobby going on while we were there. The only thing with the room was the bathroom lavatory was slow in draining. It rained and snowed while we were there .Someone was always there to mop and clean the lobby and front entrance.Overall not a bad place to stay.

    « Best stay!!! »

I wanna thank this young lady Mary for being so helpful on making our stay so much easier she helped by getting our transportation ready and also our travel times toour destination thank you agian for making our stay and leave that much easier!!!!

    « Indy »

Mary at the front desk was great!!! She got me directions to where I needed to go and had a great friend attitude. The breakfast was good too. Lots to choose from. The location of hotel is not downtown witch was nice cause then I could get in and out of the hotel. Quiet part of town so I could sleep. I have nothing esle to say. When I com back to indy I'll stay again.

« My stay at Indy »

I drove up for a Colts game and found this Best Western to be one of the Better Ones, very friendly staff and the rooms were Great. This Best Western was only 10 minutes from down town Indy and easy access to Lucas Oil Stadium. The prices for staying 10 miles out were 30 to 40 percent cheaper. The pool was Great and relaxing. Didn't eat breakfast but if you have kids it sure looked good.... Save some bucks and get high quality Stay Here.....

« Do not stay here »

torn carpeting in room, broken toilet, holes in wall, someone tried entering our room late at night, no milk for cold cereal, DVD player broken. Cobwebs in the corners of the room. No vending machine available, but signs for vending machines on the wall. The only one they had was a soda machine in the pool, but the pool was closed.

Good basic hotel. Great jetted tub and large shower area. Close to all of your needs, esp. food. There is really no more to say, but I must have 200 characters so I continue to qwrite this extra verbiage.

    « Nice hotel A+ »

Conveniant location with a few restaurants within walking distance. Comfortable bed. Nice whirlpool tub. Only downside was that the safe was not working at all in room. Otherwise, highly recommend this hotel!!

« Stay along the road on a rainey night. »

This hotel is easy access off of the freeway and a good place to stay on a rainy night. Good restaurants just across the street. Rooms have been upgraded to improve the atmosphere and enjoy the stay. Off of the main road so it is quiet. A good place to stay if traveling on the interstate highways.

    « Definitely recommend!! »

I spent the night at this Best Western this past Thursday night. The hotel was everything I expected it to be and definitely worth the $89.99/night price. Conveniently located off I-65 on the south side in a decent area. I had an executive suite with King bed and whirlpool. Everything (but the in-room safe, which I didn't really care about anyway) in the room worked as it should. Hot hotel breakfast in the morning was definitely satisfactory. This hotel is surrounded by a ton of restaurants. I walked across the parking lot to Steak 'n Shake for a late night snack before bed. Bob Evans, Texas Roadhouse, Wendy's, KFC and Burger King can all be seen from the hotel parking lot too. On site (indoor) pool. Free Wi-Fi in-room. Ample parking. My 2 defining points from my stay: 1) QUIETNESS! My room was so quiet I could hear a pin drop. For the entire night. I can't tell you how appreciated that was after being on the road all day, and just needing a good night's sleep. A few months ago, I was at a different (brand) hotel in a different city in a very nice room but the surrounding room noise wrecked the entire stay. Rest assured that at this Indy Best Western hotel outside noise will not be a problem. 2) I asked for a late check-out (1 PM) when I checked in. I assumed there would be an extra charge for that and I was okay with that. When I checked out they waived that fee for me at their own discretion. That meant something to me. Being able to stay 'til 1 PM made my stay better. And the fact they offered to give me that for free was even better. I will definitely stay at this hotel again the next time I'm in Indy. You should too!!

    « A Good Stay »

Very helpful staff, clean, good food. Few minor problems with room. Watch out for the position of the AC units. Also east side of hotel faces texas bar, so need to keep the blinds closed. Good example of economy hotel!

    « comfortable , quiet , but lacks food »

The only major complaint I had was breakfast. My husband and I were down there by 7:00 am and there were about 15 or more adults and kids down there getting food. There wasn't much left when my husband and I got down there. I ended up with a blueberry muffin and a mini bagel. There was not a very big setting space and no table available for us. We had to set on the couch and use the end tables as a table. I didn't like that my husband and I had to go ahead and buy our breakfast somewhere else because Best Western didn't provide enough food for their guest. That is the only reason this hotel isn't getting a higher rating.

    « okay visit »

We booked 2 rooms for a family funeral visit. We specifically asked for 2 rooms next to each other, was told I wasn't a problem. We did not get ours wish. If they can't deliver they shouldn't say they can. Older motel, rooms okay, okay on clean. Beds comfy. Very poor choices on breakfast. Friendly staff. Difficult to get to.

    « Just Average »

I reserved a room here for one night for myself . Each time I spoke on the phone with the hotel before arriving they were friendly and accomadating. It was late on the evening of my arrival ,and After a long day of traveling I just wanted to shower and get into a clean bed . Once in the room I noticed the wall was covered in with dead bugs as if someone had smashed them but not cleaned them up , so I was cautious about moving around the room , however there seemed to be no other signs of living creatures in the room, so I proceeded with my nightly routine. When climbing into bed I noticed the throw at the bottom was covered with stick tights , so I romoved the throw and looked for others, but found nothing. I picked up the phone to call the front desk to request a wake-up call, and notify them of the stick tights , however the phone didn't work .I moved the phone cord from the telephone connection to the data port connection and the back again , unplugged and re plugged to wall , but nothing. So I decided to set the alarm on the clock which was an hour ahead , but none of the bottons would work , so I just gave up set my phone alarm and went to sleep . In the morning , I explained all of the issues in my room to the front desk just so that they were aware of and could fix these issues before the next guest arrived, but was informed that usually guest just don't know how to operate the clock and phone properly so there probably wasn't anything wrong . I can assure you I don't typically have an issue operating any of the devices in most hotel rooms , especially since I stay in them about 70% of each year for work. Unfortunately I was under the impression that this was one of the newer locations when I booked , but upon arriving realized it was not , however I had no problem staying at an older location . The staff were friendly for the most part, but many of the issues at this location are a result of poor maintenance and housekeeping.

    « Poor Quality »

There was an empty vodka bottle in our room at check in, the bedding was wrinkled and looked like it was just used and there was no blanket so we froze. I could hear every word outside our door from other guests and the maids.

    « Excellent »

Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us especially at the front desk attendant Kristen. Rooms clean and beds very comfortable. The breakfast was a hot buffet style and was good. The variety was ok. I would stay at this location again. It was close to Children's museum and Indianapolis zoo which was our destinations. Indoor pool a little small but more than adequate for our needs.

    « Colts Weekend Getaway »

We drove here from Toronto to watch the Patriots/Colts game this past weekend and had a great stay. All of the staff were extremely helpful and informative and always available to help had we needed any assistance. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The location is great - lots of places to eat nearby and is only about a 10 or so minute drive to downtown Indianapolis. I would highly recommend staying here - reasonable price, ideal location, professional and friendly staff. We will definitely be coming back here again!

« Great Stay for a Great Price »

Convenient location, great restaurants near by, and great price. Good amenities, nice staff, nice rooms - would definitely stay again. We didn't use the pool but it looked clean - although a little small (but better than nothing!!). We had two other groups with us for a conference - and they upgraded one of our rooms to a nicer room for free and also gave us 10% off to the steak restaurant across the street.

    « Great stay »

Our extended family came for a funeral. The reviews were good, and the price reasonable for the area, so I booked the rooms in spite of having my reservations about the Best Western brand. The hotel had recently been redecorated, and everything was clean and nice. Breakfast was very good, and we appreciated the hot selections being part of the meal. The staff was WONDERFUL to all of us, down to the tiny babies. We would stay at this hotel any time we need a room in the area, and recommend it highly.

« Most wonderful front desk experience and rooms ever »

Jennifer at the front desk provided the most polite, professional, caring, and accommodating service we have ever experienced over many years. The rooms are large clean and the service is exceptional. After our numerous requests at the front desk I would highly advise that you give Jennifer a big fat raise.

« Great rooms and service »

I had a single king room, which had a desk, comfortable desk chair, desk lamp with excellent lighting, upholstered chair with ottoman and floor lamp, excellent reading lamps on both sides of the bed. I didn't look at the TV, but it was a fairly large flat screen. The bathroom was large, but the counter space around the is smaller than I'd like. My traveling companion's room was the same. Breakfast is standard. Jennifer, who works at the front desk, is terrific and very helpful. She even helped us load up the car. The price we paid through AAA was a real bargain.

    « Super accommodating »

Very clean. Accommodating staff. Fresh smell. Quiet. Great stay! Mary, who checked me in is very friendly. After I settled in my room she called me to make sure everything was ok. I've stayed at 100's of hotels - that's a first! Jennifer the next morning made me feel more than welcome (rather than an inconvenience) to extend my check out by 1 1/2 hours. Both girls deserve a raise!

    « Great price »

Needed a place to stay for an overnight to make a meeting the next day. The room was clean and the hotel is in good shape. Thers are a few places to eat right by the hotel lots of variety. I will stay here again if I need tp came back.

« worst ever stay at a hotel »

Bug bites, coffee machine in room to dirty to use, refridg didn't work and was hot, ice machine on our floor unplugged and not working, no remote for t.v., I had to go and get one, t.v. picture fuzzy on all channels, coffee in lobby upon arrival was cold, toilet paper holder was taped into sink and fell out onto the floor, bed frame sticking out from matteres causing my wife to scrape and bruise her leg, no elevator.. a dirty place.. stay away from this place!!!!

« Our Trip To Colts Country »

This is not our first stay at this Hotel and will not be our last. Excellent Desk Clerks that have a lay of the land and are able to assist you in any areas you want to go. I stay there for all Colts Games. 10 minutes from Lucas Stadium......Plenty of food establishments in area. If you are coming from the South take exit 103 avoid 101 it takes you in a round about way. Air sucked only came on low but was to tired to complain or move. Well worth the stay. One of the few that actually reconize you for your Card Status. Felt good form a change. Others could learn from them setting the Standard....

    « Lots of room »

Great hotel for our one night stay on our way to St. Louis. It was easy to find and the amenities were fine for one night stay. The kids over the pool (but really don't all kids). It's easy to get to from different areas of the city as well. Would stay here again
