« Another GREAT stay in Fargo »

When coming to Fargo, there is NO other place we'd rather stay than right here at the Best Western Kelly Inn & Suites... We plan our trips hoping we can ensure a room here, but, if not, we have even changed our schedule at times to make sure this is where we get to stay...

    5
« Very good hotel with helpful staff and fantastic pool for kids! »

Clean room and hotel. Check in was a breeze and everyone on site was helpful and attentive. Will return again if the opportunity presents itself. My 3 year old loved the pool and talked about it until the minute she fell asleep! Also a great location for shoppers as it is super close to everything.

    « Don't stay here if you're a team »

We called in advance to book this hotel for a football team and parents. We were told in advance that we would be allowed to congregate in the lobby throughout the night. Once they had our money, they decided that we had to go to our rooms at 11.this was shortly after we won the state.Th this was shortly after we won the state championship. They also ID'd teens in the pool to make sure they were over 18, as it was adult only swim, overkill when they are mostly seniors and the pool isn't even 5'deep.

    5
    « Great stay! »

This place feels like home. Everyone from the front staff to housekeeping to the lady that oversees the Manager Happy Hour was fantastic. Always smiling and welcoming. The beds were great - which is a first for me. Central location. Pool looked like great fun for kids, but since we were a couple, there wasn't much for us :(

    5
    « Always a Nice Stay »

We usually stay at the Best Western Kelly Inn while travelling to Fargo. The area around the hotel has grown tremendously, and all amenities can now be found within easy walking distance. Travelling from Winnipeg for two or three days of shopping, we now go to Fargo, as that city has thoroughly surpassed Grand Forks for shopping choices.

    « 2 Night Getaway »

Very clean and comfortable, with friendly service. I suppose the decor is getting a little dated, but not an issue. The included breakfast was nice and the Manager's reception on Thursday with free drinks and snacks was an added bonus.

    5
    « Great for kids »

Rooms are quiet and comfortable and close to restaurants. The decour is out in the forest with many wood cut animals. The pool is a must for kids, lots of water slides and fun things. You'll have trouble getting them to come out

    5
« Favorite place to stay..... »

I stay here often for work and it has come to feel like home. Always clean and comfortable rooms. The managers reception is a nice treat and the breakfast is good. The pool area looks wonderful although I have never used. Employees are always friendly and helpful.

    5
    « Great Getaway »

My wife and I rented a king room with a whirlpool bath. The bath had a couple of jets that were a little weak, but the room was spacious and quite comfortable. It was a great getaway for us and I would rent that room again.

    5
« It was the BEST »

Very nice Hotel, with friendly & helpful staff. Very clean rooms with nice amenities and pet friendly. The grandboysreally enjoyed the little water park and the free continental breakfast was delicious.

    « Loved the ambiance. .. »

Very cute bears outside look like they are climbing building. Lobby area very clean. Stayed in a king bed whirlpool suite. The room seemed huge! The whirlpool had 2 of the jets that did not work. Room was also very clean and pretty quiet overall.

« Would stay here again but..... »

Clean room and good customer front desk service makes this a place I would consider coming to again. However, because this has a swim pool with slides it makes for a busy place for kids running rampant all over the place if you stay on the weekend, which we did. I will not stay here again if on the weekend. Parents let their kids room up and down the hallways screaming and pounding on the floors above made for a noisy night. The breakfast area is so small that the kids get in the way and is loud and makes it challenging to enjoy a cup of coffee. Coffee was great by the way. Food was OK. Enough to put something in your stomach to get you by. I would stay here again but only during the week....and when kids are not in school. Also, the handicap parking space is a little small and the curb beside it sticks out quite a bit and my wife tripped on it. So if you use that spot be careful exiting the car. Good location and appears to be quite safe area with lots of food choices and shopping around.

    « fine hotel »

This was my first night of a long road trip, I had driven a very long way & appreciated the comfort and quietness of my room., Staff was great. My only issue was finding the hotel. The notes in my internet confirmation were confusing - had difficulty finding the location, road construction increased the issue.

    5
    « Very Nice Motel »

First time staying in this motel. The Motel is very nice, clean and quit. They had managers appreciation going on when we got there. Pulled pork sandwiches and hash browns, cheese and vegetable tray, free wine and beer; chips and salsa. All the food was very good and total surprise. Breakfast was good with a good assortment of food.

    5
    « A GOLD MEDAL »

We picked the hotel trying to find a quiet corner and found a very nice hotel, the most friendly staff, a nice morning and evening buffet (although we didn't use it) with a warm atmosphere. The decor is nice, the room clean. Trying to think back on our lenghty stay and cannot see even a small smudge. The amenities excelent - a nice pool and hot tub - and it was quite close to some good restaurants in the area. To sum up - when in Fago stay and enjoy.

« My new favourite hotel in Fargo »

We picked this hotel to use up Air Miles and now I might have a new favourite hotel in Fargo. It has a eclectic western woodsy theme, a nice change from the standard hotel boxes. Bears outside your window, horses on the shower curtain, lots of carved wood everywhere, animal prints in the floor tiles. Also the rooms are beautiful and spacious. Bed was very comfortable with nice crisp linens. Breakfast was excellent. Plus the hotel staff were absolutely wonderful.

« Skip the breakfast but I'd Stay Again »

This was a business trip for my husband and an overnight getaway for me. As it was a one-night stay I had few encounters with staff beyond checking in and out. The front desk people were courteous and friendly and I noted that my preference for a top floor, corner room was acknowledged and fulfilled. The lobby and room's north woods decor evoked visions of knotty pine paneling, though I didn't actually see any. (I didn't go there looking for 'haute decor'.) The room featured a coffeemaker, microwave and fridge, and beds were comfortable, (yea!) The pillowcases had seen better days, but the pillows, themselves were fine. There was that ever-present in-room heat/AC noise that plagues so many older hotel rooms in this country. The only other issue I had was that on the coldest night of the season, thus far, there was an over-supply of pillows, but there were no extra blankets to be had in the room. Since we used both beds I had to fold over the covers on my bed to be comfortably warm. We didn't use the pool or other amenities therefore I can't comment on that. We did stop to look at the happy hour spread, but the offerings were not especially enticing and so skipped that. My husband tried the complimentary breakfast, but gave it a thumbs down. So: the room was clean and comfortable, we were isolated from extraneous noise and got a good night's sleep.

    « Oct 10 @ 3 pm »

This hotel has very friendly staff and quick to deal with the small requests I had. One of the best hotels I've stayed at and close to all the shopping, restaurants, and activities we needed. Beds were super comfortable. Loved that we could park just outside our room and exit from our room to the car, as I have difficulty somewhat in getting around. Room locks were good and secure. Also the safety bars in the washroom were excellent. No negative issues and hope to stay there again. Used Airmiles so value was great for us!

    « Our Fargo Hotel Choice?.Pet Friendly!!! »

We thought it was time to update our last review from 2012 since we have stayed here approx. twice a year since that time. First and foremost the WiFi has been improved (since our issue in 2012) and the signal is strong and works well. The rooms have always had a high standard of cleanliness and the hotel is not showing wear and tear at this time. All necessary amenities are provided. The front desk staff are always welcoming upon check in and the check-out express is very convenient. Obviously after over 10 nights of stay since 2012, this is our #1 choice during our stay in Fargo. Also of note, the hotel is pet friendly and for those who take advantage of that ??please be courtesy to others and pick up after your furry friends. This is not the hotel's responsibility?..so clean up after your own pets. The hotel has even provided a specific waste disposal for this purpose. See you soon for our next stay in Fargo!!!!

« Nice weekend for Families »

This location has a nice pool area with water features and slide for younger children, my 8 and 12 year old still enjoyed the pool. Rooms are clean and the breakfast is nice to have. It is near the mall and is a central Fargo location. We would stay there again.

    « Pleasant surpris »

We had to stop in Fargo as I needed an emergency surgery. When the clerk discovered this we were given an additional discount which was very kind. I loved the western motif. Everything was in first class condition and looked like new. They have a pool area that looks like it would be a lot of fun for kids. The lobby and breakfast area were large and very pretty.

    « LOVE THIS HOTEL !!! »

LOVE THIS HOTEL !!! ... The days of Best Western not being luxury is over !!!... this hotel really impressed me. Stayed in the King Superior Jacuzzi Room !! Fabulous !! They have room service set up for the guest with the yummy Italian Restaurant next door !! Fabulous Decor! and Debra at the Front Desk when I checked in MADE MY DAY !!!

    « Amazing stay! »

This is the only hotel I stay at while passing through Fargo. I'm sure there are other nice hotels, but this one is ALWAYS clean and quiet. I feel like I'm at home here. The staff is always friendly. The pool is nice too especially if you have kids.

    5
« Very good representative of Best Western Plus properties »

Very convenient and comfortable facility. Cleanliness was very good as was the professionalism of all associates. Front desk associates, Kim and Erin, were professional and accommodating to all our needs and assistance.

« My First Stay at a Best Western »

This hotel is an excellent choice for business or pleasure. The room was very quiet and large for the price paid, with a king bed and couch. The breakfast had very good options and was delicious. Had no problems with internet service either.

    5
    « Hit the Spot »

Needed a one night stay and this place fit all the requirements. Welcoming staff, great deal, well decorated room with good amenities. Loved the extra little touch of Twinings Earl Grey and English breakfast teas. Breakfast quality was a nice surprise and all free! Would stay again. The kids pool looked like great fun!

« Good hotel for leisure time »

We always find the hotel clean, comfortable beds, nice & friendly staff. We like to have the free breakfasts. close to all shopping. Found the A/C system a little loud in this room so had to turn it off to hear the TV, but this was the first time for that.

    4
    « Comfortable »

First impression the staff is welcoming lobby is very clean we were informed there was a managers reception between 5 and 7 I believe we did not attend the reception they serve compliments beer and wine as well as appetizers. Our king room was well appointed and very clean bed is extremely comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was well stocked they served eggs ham and potatoes there was the waffle bar, cold cereal etc, during the week it's served starting at 6 if you check out before 6 they will give you breakfast to go.

« Client Recommended and was Right »

After a couple of days staying in a two star hotel, my Fargo client recommended I book here. And he was right. The hotel was easily accessible, and has a very good appearance, rather western rustic, with figures of bears climbing the outside walls. First time I looked out my window, there was a wooden image of a cub staring back at me! Check in was flawless. There was a kid's birthday party in the very large indoor pool and the kids were obviously having fun. The hallways were clean and maintenance staff maintained them well. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Hot breakfast entrees varied every day, and were quite good. But my favorite was the weekday evening Manager's Reception. There were always good munchies, soda, wine and beer available. Vickie, the hostess, was very cordial, often offering to "top off" my beer. My kind of reception. Parking was ample and every time I left or entered the building, front desk staff cheerfully greeted me. Finally the price was right. This is an excellent facility and I would highly recommend it.

    5
« Fun place to stay! Water park very kid friendly for any age! »

I love staying here. Any age of child you have, there is a place to play in the pool area. We have stayed here quite a few times, and we have always had a great experience. We have used a lot of their amenities. From the pool, to the exercise room, to the breakfast areas, and their conference rooms. Their staff is well trained and very helpful. I would definitely tell people to stay here.

  • 5
    « Great Amenities & Service »

This hotel is our go-to place in Fargo. The amenities are first rate/first class and the service is every bit as good as the amenities. The Manager's Reception is exceptional - SEVEN varieties of wine alone! Great snacks and great service. All the staff treat you like family, so why would you go elsewhere?

    4
« Hotel nice, breakfast good too! »

The exterior facade of the hotel is very inviting. The room itself was just average with two doors, one to the parking lot and one to the indoor hallway. Not sure why we got a handicapped room, maybe that was all that was left, bit I'd rather of had a normal bathroom. Nice breakfast, better than most. Outdoor parking and my truck was vandalized during the night, someone stole the entire headlight housing, bummer. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

    5
    « Very enjoyable stay »

The Happy Hour, free vine, beer, and appetizers were outstanding. Breakfast was also exceptional. Rooms are outstanding as per Best Western Plus standards. Service personnel did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable.

    5
    « Romance and Relax »

My husband needed a break from kids, grand kids and dogs! First off we loved accessing our room from the outside, quiet, free hot breakfast and best of all whirlpool in the room. The room was clean and very spacious. They have HBO and an excellent Italian Restaurant next door.

    3
    « just average »

in town for a wedding, staff was helpful as we arrived in town early for check-in and moved us to an available room as ours was not clean yet. morning breakfast was poor quality and quantity, and we were down stairs before 8:00 am.

    5
    « Favorite Western Motel »

I cannot say enough about this First Class Motel. The Staff From the MGR to the cleaning employees are very helpful and friendly . I have always enjoyed my stay. I have made many trips to Fargo and I have always Preferred this Motel over any others I have stayed in.

    5
    « very country »

loved the first floor room with outside access and the Itallian restaurant across the parking lot was great. buy one d get one free with card from hotel. Would stay here again if I am in the AREA. why do I need 200 characters to get this to go?

    4
« Nice hotel with an evening snack and continental breakfast. »

My daughter and I stayed one night. We enjoyed an appetizer in the evening and then a hot continental breakfast. The rooms were spacious, comfortable beds. The pool area looked nice and it had lots for kids. We would stay again.

    4
« Decent west Fargo hotel »

Good hotel. Mostly friendly staff, clean rooms, everything worked, fantastic breakfast. Lots of easy parking. Not much to look at out the windows, but it is west Fargo. Also, the hot tub was only lukewarm. Very easy to get to off interstate, and affordable price.

    « Great Family Stay-cation! »

We booked this hotel for a family stay-cation to celebrate my son's 4th birthday. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We spent most of our time in the pool, it was the perfect size for my kids and they had a blast! The room was nice and clean, the beds were comfortable, and the continental breakfast was standard. I would stay again.

« Comfy Beds and Rooms »

When i stayed here i loved it as we had a view of the outdoors pool. the Beds were very Comfortable and the rooms were Big. When we stayed here we needed a extra bed and they brought one in.. Best Hotel.

    5
    « A great place for a fun stay »

On a cross country drive, motels all seem to blend into one vague memory...but not this place! An indoor water park for families, a manager's reception with good food and "adult beverages", a superb breakfast, not to speak of very clean and spacious rooms. The decor is NOT sophisticated, leaning toward cute black bears everywhere, but the atmosphere of family fun and caring hospitality, can't be beat.

    5
« Well Taken Care Of, Clean and Friendly »

Stayed for two nights while traveling for business. My title really says it all, it's a nicely maintained property, staff was friendly, and best of all its clean. I'd actually say the property is better maintained then many of the larger chains. While I wasn't traveling with a pet I did learn that they allow pets at no extra charge which is nice. Many properties claim to be "pet friendly" but they think friendly is an extra $50 or $75. Small morning breakfast and when busy seating is difficult to find. Both nights I stayed they had a manager's reception which was nice. The decor is fun, some may say cheesy but I thought it was great. We all need a little more fun in our lives. No doubt I'd stay here again the next time through.

    3
    « Good hotel »

Very nice hotel from the swimmingpool to the rooms. Especially the ground floor with outside doors. A little older but kept good. Friendly staff and good location, excellent breakfast but the cutlery, seriously we are not kids or on a plane . please get better plastic forkes and knifes if you want to use them. If you want better ratings get the real thing.

    4
    « No complaints »

Everything about my stay was good. Front desk service was quick. Staff were friendly. Place was clean. Bed was comfortable. Morning breakfast was tasty and there was a good selection. Didn't have fresh fruit and food was premade I think. Appreciated the infused water options. The mango made a good mix with the orange juice.

    « Easy Comfy Stay... »

Recently stayed at the Kelly Inn for one night and overall enjoyed the property. The location is central enough to various amenities and was easy to find. Check in was smooth and the staff was efficient and courteous. The standard room we had was very comfortable and very clean. All the basics were provided and the beds were actually quite comfortable. The included breakfast was pretty straightforward (nothing too fantastic here) but served its purpose more than adequately. For what we needed, the Kelly Inn more than provided the comfort and ease we were looking for. I would not hesitate to book this property again on a visit to Fargo.

    5
« Great Place To Stay »

This BW Plus was really great. The hotel's theme was so Fargo-ish and it added to our pleasant stay. They offer wine/beer & appetizers in the evening. WOW! We will definitely recommend this location to our friends traveling to Fargo in the future.

    5
    « Beautiful »

The Decor' is beautiful through-out the hotel. The lobby area, breakfast area, pool, waterpark and the room. Our room was wonderful, from the sofa-bed & the pictures, to the curtains and window box above the curtains that was wooden with metal cut-out artwork on it. Very clean, bed comfortable, shower was very nice and there was a refrigerator & microwave in our room (some do not ) .The pool and waterpark is great, so there are alot of kids around. We were not near that area, so our room was quiet. It is in a very nice area with many, many shopping plazas and restaurants . We ate lunch at the Space Alien restaurant that was close by. (great place) We ate dinner at Kroll's Diner and had there special German dishes. You should definetly go there, it is about 5 miles from hotel but worth the short drive, Breakfast was very good ! Real ham slices, seasoned potatoes, eggs, waffles, variety of danish, mango-enhanced water (yum), coffee, etc.

« Best of Best Western »

This has to be one of the best kept secrets on the Best Western Chain. The décor is wonderful. Carved baby bears peeking into your room, chalet furniture, and even a grandfather clock covered in birch bark, this location has it all. Nothing has been overlooked. Even some of the floor tiles have tiny woodland creature footprints to lead you to your room. The linens are all rustic with wonderful fall woods colours. We have stayed here before and it is still our favorite Best Western of many we have stayed at. This is also a great place for children. The pool is a pirate wonderland with water cannons, climbing ropes and buckets that dump water on you from above. If there is any negative it is that the water is pretty cool for older folks. Finally, for any disabled, the room we had, which was for wheelchair accessibility, had a fully open floor shower with lots of grab handles. The large queen bed was very comfortable and should be fine for someone with mobility problems. There was also a sturdy armchair that I needed since I have polymiositis and require a chair with sturdy arms to get up. I would not hesitate to return to this hotel especially in light of the good $109 per night rate for my wife and myself. One final point is that the last time we were there we investigated a suite they have and it was really great. If I had not had business that make the trip a fast turn around, I would most likely have rented the suite and made a real holiday of it. I had to receive a FAX during my stay and when I offered a tip to the girl for her help she refused it and said it was just what they do for their guests! I appreciated such service.

    « Fantastic Place »

Can't say enough positive things about this place. No comparisons to the BW in Shakopee which I will be doing a review on shortly. The Shakopee management can take some training from the folks in Fargo. Kids loved the pool and I loved the complementary beer during happy hour. Two thumbs up to all the staff. See you next time from Friendly Manitoba Canada.

    « Needed Break »

We stayed in the Horse Whisperer suite. What a beautiful room. Would recommend this room to everyone. The bed was comfortable and the suite very comfy. The pool (we did not use) looked great for families and their children. The lobby was very nice. This was a very clean hotel. The staff here was very nice and helpful when we were looking for places to visit.

« Family Fun at the Pool »

We traveled to Fargo as a family for a mini vacation before the start of school. The Best Western Kelly Inn was perfect for our family of 4, with kids age 5 and 8. While Momma shopped, Dad and the kids had a fantastic time at the pool, making great use of the spray area, water slide and water/rope platforms. Safe area for the kids to play with the deep end marked at 3.5 ft while the shallow end was 1.5 I 2.0. There were even life jackets for the kids which was helpful as we forgot my little guys vest. This was all after a good complimentary breakfast, where Mom and Dad had Eggs and sausage and the kids had waffles and toast. The staff member looking after the are made sure everything was kept clean and well stocked. Thanks for the tips on using the waffle iron! The room was clean, beds were comfortably firm and well appointed with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly and accommodating.

« Best Best Western I've stayed in »

Staying a Best Western can be a hit or miss, this one was a big hit. Very nice interior room, staff very nice. Two thumbs up on the managers happy hour during the week. Good way to chill out at the end of the day. Don't know when the next time i'll be in Fargo, but will stay here again if I'm ever up that way again. BTW - this is the first time I have ever written a review for trip advisors.

    « Fun Weekend Getaway »

Booked this hotel somewhat last minute and was pleased to find our room request of being on the top floor was granted. Hotel was clean, pool area was just perfect for our children. Staff were amazing - especially the staff member who asked pool guests if they would like new towels while she was refilling to towel cabinet. Very thoughtful. Breakfast was great, the area is on the small side, but it was a nice touch having "overflow" seating close by. Great décor and the perfect location for a weekend shopping trip! We will be back.

    « Get yourself Spoiled! »

What a Wonderful Hotel...great rooms, friendly and pleasant staff, very enjoyable complimentary snacks and drinks at evening time and a full breakfast in the morning. Highly recommended if you are in area.

    « Good, comfortable hotel »

First time staying here. Liked that our room was on the main floor with a door to the parking lot, very convenient for packing/ unpacking. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice little fitness room. The pool looked ok but was packed with kids although they do offer an adult time later in the night which is great. The breakfast was ok. They offer a few hot dishes, cereals, etc and fits most peoples' tastes. Check in was quick and efficient. Overall it's a good place to stay if you want a decent and affordable place near all the stores in Fargo. We were no further than a few miles from everything.

« From Michigan to Montana and back »

Great room! Excellent accommodation for handicapped. One of the few times my husband had a shower on our 3 week trip. We stayed here both on our way to MT to return our grandson and on our way home. The pool was fantastic for a 7 year old to enjoy!

    5
« Good Place to Stay »

We have stayed at this hotel many many times and really enjoy the location, the hospitality, the cleanliness and the option of rooms. We usually stay on the main floor that has door access from the parking lot which we love especially when we do lots of shopping. We have also over the years travelled with our dog and this too makes it easier to take her outside. Very happy with this hotel and will continue to come visit every few months. The only suggestion I have is in the king size room we stay in, the heat/air condition is situation at the window and the bed it right beside that which can make it uncomfortable with it blowing right in your face. It would be better to have the bed moved to the far wall next to the bathroom.

The decor of the hotel was wonderful - so many details involving the bear, elk, and moose motif, especially in the pool area. An amazing place for families to bring their children. Each morning included a fully equipped breakfast, including hot meats, eggs, bagels, yogurt, cereal, etc., including gluten free options, which was very important in for our stay. The whole hotel was immaculately clean, and accommodated both business people and families alike. We will definitely be staying here again, and will recommend it highly to everyone that we know.

love this place, great pool for the family ,rooms are tidy and the breakfast is awesome. good location too .there was a little noise from the pool but it was not loud enough to stop us from sleeping .

    « Great »

Very spacious and comfortable. Although we didn't use it the pool was fantastic with many different water features. However, this does attract children and we recommend that children be placed on the first floor. They tend to run around all hours of the night and when in their room can be heard from the room below.

Excellent value. Complementary breakfast was very good. Rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. Swimming available for all ages. Central location for shopping with easy access to major highways and interstates.

« Good place to spend the night »

Very well kept property. Got a good nights sleep and the complimentary breakfast was good. Next door to Johnny Carino's so convenient for dinner. The staff were friendly and helpful. Didn't use the pool so can't speak to that.

« Best Best Western I've stayed at »

The decor of the Hotel is so fun. The rooms and lobby are so clean. Breakfast was great and re-stocked all morning. I liked the information sheet we got at check in with all the info we needed. The breakfast menu & hours, pool hours, wifi password. Overall great stay. The pool is fun with all of the spray options. Not a quiet pool to relax in, but they did have adult hours after 11. Just the thing my girls needed after a long day in the car. Loved this hotel!

    « Awesome hotel ! »

Great hotel! Room very clean! Room good size and bed very comfortable. Loved the vanilla coffee in room. Close to everything! Shopping and restaurants nearby and great log decor with cute bears on walls would definitely stay again. Thank you for the great stay!

« Best Western Hotel Fargo North Dakota »

Very Good Hotel would stay again. Very comfortable beds no noise got a good nights sleep. I will stay there again if i ever travel that direction. Had no problems whatsoever. The only complaint i had was the front entrance of the Hotel the Curb that surrounds the front lawn in the front entrance to Hotel Needs to be painted YELLOW so a person does not run their vehicle into the Curb. Other than that all was good.

« Nice hotel in a good location »

We stay here whenever we travel to Fargo. Our room was spacious and very clean, with extremely comfortable bed. Hotel is located adjacent to a good moderately priced Italian restaurant, and is near all the shopping one would need. The complimentary breakfast is good with lots of items to choose from.

« The only place we stay in Fargo! »

This hotel consistently provides clean rooms, an entertaining pool area, and good food in the dining area. The staff is very accommodating and polite. Rooms are comfortable and quiet with a cabin type decor. Will definitely return here again!

« My Favorite Place to Stay »

The Best Western Plus Kelly Inn is my favorite motel to stay in while I am in Fargo. The rooms are consistently clean and comfortable. The staff and maid service are friendly, very helpful and make you feel at home. The breakfast bar is very good and selection is plentiful. I highly recommend this motel!

    « Good for kids »

Aside from one grumpy front desk clerk, our stay was very good. The pool area is perfect for kids of all ages and the breakfast was more than adequate. The beds were great and the room was quiet in spite of the number of young children staying in the hotel. The rate was a bit higher than some of the newer hotels in the area but the pool and breakfast made up for that. The manger and most of her staff were wonderful. Very pleasant and went above and beyond.

    « Great Stay »

Enjoyed our one night stay at the Best Western Kelly Inn and Suites. They served a complimentary luncheon dinner plus the normal complimentary breakfast. The decor was outstanding, and would most definitely stay here again if we're ever back in the area.

    « A+ Stay »

Staff is very accommodating. My room is always nice and clean. Breakfast is great!!! Coffee pot in the room, and a fridge is a plus for me..I've stayed at this motel a few times and it is always my first choice when staying in Fargo...

« Normally A Great Place To Stay »

When in Fargo on business this is a great place to stay. Rooms have high speed internet and a good amount of plug ins for all your charging needs. We stayed on the 3rd floor on my last visit thought it would be quiet. We forgot this is summer a parents are traveling with children. Unlike other Best Western Plus Hotels this one does not keep noise down in hallways after 9:00 or 10:00 pm. If you are looking for a quite place to sleep I would not recommend this Hotel. Also this hotel allows pets. As one that is allergic I will have to check out the room availability for switching rooms if I have to on check in.

« Friendly - Newly Renovated - Close to Shopping »

We stayed one night Aug 2-3 2016 at this hotel. The exterior and interior were new clean and looked like all was recently renovated / updated. The staff were very friendly and they had both a 5p Manager's reception as well as the continental breakfast. Although the major shopping was not exactly walking distance, it was only a couple blocks from all the major West Fargo shopping like West Acres and the 13th ave strip. We didn't use the pool but it would very attractive for families with young kids since it is more than just a pool and hot tub. Lots of play structures around the pool for kids. Fully recommend it.

    5
    « Pleasant stay »

competitive rates, clean, great pool for kids and very very nice staff. The breakfast was very good. There were lots of towels in the pool area. A minor repair problem was handled immediately. We felt is was a very good value staying here.

    « hotel accomodations »

Hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. The décor of the lobby and dining area were nice and welcoming. My room was clean and appeared to be well maintained. The room was quiet. The wireless internet was easy to access and the modem speed was good. The indoor swimming pool was clean and the water temperature was good. There was plenty of parking and the lot was well lit. Overall great experience and worth the price!

    « Nice and convenient »

Well located hotel just off I-94 in west Fargo. Well kept, clean; good breakfast . Not a risk. Well appointed indoor pool the kids will love. Inside and outside access to first floor rooms. Wood timber accents are nice touches.

« Nicest Best Western I have ever visited »

This is a great hotel with a super friendly and helpful staff. I had drove overnight from central Oklahoma and arrived around 10:30am. I decided to ask if a early checkin was possible since I really didn't need to be on the road any more. I went for breakfast and returned around 11:30 to a welcome bed. The breakfast is terrific, if you have kids they will love the pool. The only thing I would change if I could was those little half pillows they have on their beds. Otherwise, I will probably just bring my own pillows next year when I'm back again to watch my son wrestle at the Fargodome.

    4
    « Nice stay »

First time we have stayed in Fargo but I would stay at this hotel again. Like most Best Westerns they have great beds and a friendly staff. There was a craft fair going on and the staff was very helpful in telling us how to get there. Hotel was clean and the hot breakfast was very good.

    5
    « Restful! »

Our family was making its way back from a trip to Yellowstone. After many hours in the car we made it to West Fargo. We talked to the young woman at the front desk, Kristina, and thanks to being part of the Best Western family received an upgrade. It was cool for two reasons. The whirlpool for the wife and a second TV for me. My Tigers were on ESPN and I got to watch them. One cool feature was two sets of doors, one to the outside and one to the inside. It made luggage so easy. The hotel was newer with a nice pool are my son enjoyed.

    « Amazing family hotel! »

Fantastic hotel for families. The only question our kids had was "when can we go back?" Staff was exceptionally friendly. Breakfast was fabulous. Pool area was the real hit. We hadn't been to Fargo in awhile but we will definitely be back soon!!

« So blessed to be back. »

I do have to say the front desk staff was not as wonderful as the last time i was here, but.. I was on the bottom floor with outside entry. No bear out my window this time but more convenient. Room clean, smells fresh, I love this place. Romantic, relaxing, safe, AMAZING!!!! Worth ever penny, kids would love decor. I can't say enough except, stay here you will not be disappointed!!! Excuse my mess but i forgot to take pics before i got cozy!

    « Definetly again »

The best western chain is has been awesome so far. My family and our 2 dogs recently stayed in the one in Fargo. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean. The breakfast was good. The pool was clean and huge. This is a great place to stay. We will be staying here again.

    4
    « Awesome pool area!! »

The staff are very friendly. They serve hot foods for breakfast where the eggs are very tasty. We liked playing "spot all the woodland critters - in the decor". Best was the pool / play area. Wished they would have better water pressure on the 3rd floor. Overall we would definitely stay here again.

    5
« Check in was very efficient, friendly and helpful, »

Excellent location , friendly, efficient staff. Great breakfast with a lot of variety. Rooms were very comfortable, clean and quiet. Hotel was easy to get too and the free parking was a bonus. I particularly liked the fact that reward miles were easy to access and use,

« Great atmosphere, friendly staff »

We stayed two nights at the Best Western while on vacation. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was attractive, well appointed and clean. Even though we didn't use the pool, it would be good for families with children to use. The only downside to this hotel was the complimentary breakfast. It was just OK, nothing special. A variety in the menu would help. But all in all, a great place to stay while in Fargo. I loved the décor with the bears climbing up the outside and the rustic furniture in the lobby.

    « Beautiful hotel »

My husband and I spent a Saturday night here for a quick getaway. The hotel staff was friendly and check in was quick. The hotel is perfectly located for shopping, eating out, the zoo or movies. We didn't use the pool but it looked clean and fun! Our room was beautiful! We got a king size bed with a Jacuzzi tub for a great rate and found it to be incredibly clean and spacious. We appreciated being to order in for supper and the hot breakfast available for free the next morning. We will definitely stay here again plus wouldn't hesitate to suggest this hotel to a friend.

« You will absolutely love this place »

The entire staff is fantastic, making sure to say hello even just in passing. This is the funnest hotel, the attention to detail making it a 'hunting lodge' is amazing. In the rooms there are cheesy furniture with bears, moose, trout etc on the pillows and decorations. Just such a fun and relaxing place. Oh and the rooms are HUGE! So much room for activities!

    5
    « Super stay »

We had an excellent 3 night stay here. The staff were all very efficient and gave very friendly service. We particularly enjoyed the hotel's wilderness decorum and the happy hour after a hard day's shopping. The breakfast included varied daily and was excellent.

« Fun pool for kids »

This hotel is not glamorous or luxurious (the theme is sort of "North Woods" with lots of moose, deer, beavers, etc.) but has a great pool for kids (waterslides, etc.) and comfortable, clean rooms. We stayed here with our 2 littles (ages 6 and 2.5) and they loved swimming (it is only 3.5 feet deep at the deepest, however, so "swimming" with them proved difficult and turned more into "standing" with them). We stayed in a standard 2 queen room and it was clean with comfy beds. The only thing I found strange was that they provided bar soaps, shampoo and conditioner, but no lotion. I guess I've just never stayed at a hotel that provided the basics except for lotion. The guide book in the room did state that you could call down to the front desk if you needed lotion or toothpaste, etc. and it would be free of charge, but I figure they'd just keep it simple and have lotion in the room like everywhere else. Not a big deal as I had my own lotion, but just fyi. The complimentary breakfast was very good - omelets, bacon, breakfast potatoes, cereal, diy waffles, fruit, juices/milk, etc. We also appreciated that check-in was 3 pm and check-out was noon; many places are 4 and 11. Another great part is that Johnny Carino's is right next door and you can just dial room service to order from their menu (a menu was in the room), which we did, and it arrived in 20 minutes. Delish! All in all it was good, clean, nice pool. Nothing to write home about but certainly fit the bill.

    « Good location! »

Used our airmiles to book a whirlpool room for a nice weekend away without the kids. Very nice hotel and room and was close to all the shopping and restaurants we wanted to visit. Whirlpool tub was the shower/tub combo in the bathroom which was kinda odd to sit there and soak looking at the toilet. My husband moved the TV so we'd have something else to focus on. Lots of families staying there, they had a nice water park if you have kids!

« Best Western Plus Fargo, ND »

We checked for a hotel in the Fargo, ND while on our way West. We have had good luck with Best Western and saw the ad for this hotel in that search. It was right on our route and there was a room available. The price was reasonable and the hotel very inviting. Although it was in a busy area we did not encounter any interruptions to our sleep. The room was clean and comfortable and had good room, outlets, and other amenities. The breakfast offered a variety of choices and was good.

    5
    « Fun pool. »

I was very impressed with the person manning the breakfast bar. When a herd came rushing in shortly after we arrived she kept items filled and the tables and counters clean. The garbage was emptied before it became overflowing. The pool was cute and had a couple of slides and other water features. The guy at the front desk was very friendly and helpful when we checked in. The hotel was decorated in a cutesy bear/lodge theme.

    5
« Great Place to Stay! »

The staff at this location are always so friendly and helpful. The hotel is always clean and even the pool area. The pool area always has a great supply of towels for the swimmers too! We always stay here when we are in Fargo.

« Clean hotel but TERRIBLE service »

At 3:00am, a banging noise started coming from the bathroom vent which kept us tossing and turning for the rest of the night. The fan wasn't on, it was something within the vents. In the morning, we advised the hotel staff about how something must be wrong with the ventilation, and the woman at the front desk simply responded, "Ok thanks." There were no questions, inquires, or any interest in helping to remedy the situation. Mechanical issues are one thing, but poor customer service is another. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

« Spaces are smaller than they appear in photos »

For the first night of a long road trip, my boyfriend wanted to treat me to something special in his hometown. He booked the Horse Whisperer Suite. Living room, bedroom, coffee bar/microwave/fridge, plus 2 full bathrooms. The bath connected to the bedroom has a whirlpool bath that faces a double-sided fireplace (also visible from one side of the king bed) and a large separate walk-in shower. Sadly, the view is of the parking lot rather than the green space behind the property. The entire hotel has a North Woods theme and it's nice, but perhaps overdone. The rooms, as well as the pool area, are much smaller than they appear in the professional photos. Having said that, I must say that the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly.

« My Second favorite BW of all. »

The only thing that would make this BW better is having a lake to look out at from the room, and a spa just down the hall. But, the rooms are nicely decorated and large enough to move around. Not to mention enough electrical outlets to plug in all of your (and your families) electronics. Located just off the freeway, and too many restaurants nearby to choose from. Not that you have to go any farther than across the parking lot. The Italian nachos are amazing. Love this Hotel! The only place we ever stay when in Fargo.

« Excellent all the way around »

The hotel was very clean and it had good breakfasts every day and the hotel guests treated me the way I would want to be treated. We had a very comfortable and affordable trip because of you and your employees. Thank you. We will be staying again maybe next summer. Thanks again for help making our trip enjoyable and fun.

« The BEST BW we have ever stayed! »

This BW is the best we have ever stayed in. Friendly staff, immaculate rooms, great hot breakfast, great pool for kids. Grounds are well-kept and clean. The location is great with lots of food choices. No charge for our pet! And the room rates are more than reasonable!

    5
« Last minuet change of plans! »

We are platinum members of BW and stay in a lot of BW+ hotels across Canada and the US. This is one of our favourites. King size bed/room, main floor, back door access to the parking lot and our car, terrific swimming area, manager's reception at 5-7 pm, decent breakfast, wonderful bed, and all amenities are first class. All of this at the AARP rate. We will be back!

    5
« As always, great stay »

Great stay, everything was clean, loved the water park for our kiddos, the breakfast was great. We had a slight problem with the shower not having any hot water, but other than that it was great. The ac worked well and kept us cool, the best part was the cleanliness as always, this is why we try to choose Best Western whenever possible.

The Bed was very comfortable & bedding linen and towels were Soft, Clean and Smelled Great! The Breakfast Offering was terrific and Hotel Staff was very accommodating!!! My only regret is that I did not arrive in time for the Managers Reception - I'll plan accordingly for my next visit! Thank you for the Nice Stay and Hospitality!

« Birding trip to east North Dakota »

This is an excellent hotel and very convenient to our areas of birding. The staff helped with maps to the area and suggested places to visit. The hotel is located in a part of Fargo with many shops and amenities.

    4
    « dining area »

in our last stay, there was also a large group of students booked; when breakfast time came, it was notorious how not fully prepared the hotel is to handle such large groups; it took us, me and my wife, long time to get to sit and also to get through the line up to pick up food first, then drinks (coffee, juice); to get our toast made was also a ridiculous waste of time as toaster are right by where the food is served and anyone preparing toasts simply holds everybody else in line; maybe a larger area dedicated for such amount of people is in order.

« Best Hotel Ever if you have kids »

Traveling home from Canada with our grandson, we wanted a fun hotel. This is the perfect place! I called while traveling to ask questions and the girl that answered was Very helpful and explained the kids pool and the hours. I was worried that by the time we got there at 8 the pool would be closed but they stay open till 11. They also have a game room. When we arrived, the same girl that I spoke with on the phone checked us in. Her name is Kim. Very friendly, fun, helpful, knowledgeable and answered all our questions and give us information on restaurants. Kim was absolutely wonderful and amount the best of any hotel we've ever stay at. She is an asset to your hotel and the chain of Best Western Plus Company. She should be a valued employee and given a raise!

    « Very nice!! »

One of the best features of this particular hotel is the outdoor entrance directly to your room. I was also very impressed with the comfort of the bed. If you are passing through and need a place to stay don't second guess this. Thanks.

« No complaints, but nothing too exceptional »

My family and I enjoyed our stay. (My wife and I, plus 5 year old and 8 week old daughters.) After some trouble with the front desk to get our reservation correct, we enjoyed our stay. The "water park" area was fun for my older daughter. She was just big enough to do it by herself. (Deepest part was 3 ft, 6 in). However, there is no "pool". It is just the water park. There is a small hot tub that wasn't working when we were there, but I don't like hot tubs, so I don't care. I wasn't able to play with my daughter as she could do it on her own and it would look weird for a middle aged man to be standing among a group of kids. No swimming for me. The food was great! The manager's reception was nice. Breakfast was delicious. The room was clean, the shower was warm, and the entire property looked good. We will stay there again when my younger daughter is big enough to play.

    « Very nice stay »

Our family had a nice stay this year again at the Best Western Plus Kelly Inn Fargo. The pool was fun for he kids and he room was very clean. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was good. They seem very organized and aim to please. The price was fair for such a busy weekend as it was a holiday plus marathon weekend.

« Awesome Best Western Kelly Inn »

The Best, Best Western in the Midwest. I have stayed at many Best Western Motels and the Kelly Inn is by far the best. All aspects were top notch from the décor to the breakfast. I will definitely be going back.

« Incredible and family friendly! »

We were here for a family wedding, and as such also the half marathon, and had a fantastic time!! Spacious room (king with sofa), amenities like fridge and microwave, loved having sink outside bathroom, space for 3 year old's toys and for running around, loved the pool for kids, yummy breakfast with variety and extended hours on race day, tv networks offered variety like Disney Jr and Sprout (sorely needed when traveling with kids!), felt utterly safe and well cared for, extra pillows in room and didn't even have to ask front for more so I could prop up with pregnant belly, a/c unit used wall thermostat and was fairly loud which helped me out so much-- used to hotels where it doesn't work well, is on the unit itself, and is too quiet for me to fall asleep!-- staff was friendly and helpful, and banquet room was quite handy for wedding rehearsal dinner! Loved our stay. If we are ever back in Fargo, this is where we will go!!

« Was here for country concert »

We were very pleased with our stay at the best Western plus Kelly inn. This place is nicely located right off of interstate I 94 located in Southwest Fargo. The place is absolutely gorgeous with all of its woodwork and log cabin style of the decor! The rooms were very clean along with fresh bedding, HDTVs and also a complementary buy one get one drink cards for the adjacent restaurant to the hotel. The continental breakfast in the morning was spectacular which include sausage eggs, oh Mail English muffins donuts fresh fruit yogurts the list goes on. We were excited to see how many restaurants where within walking distance of this hotel but the best part about this hotel is the fact that it is pet friendly so you can bring your furry friend with you

« Great hotel, until the morning »

My boyfriend and I stayed here while we were in town for the Garth Brooks concert. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. I agree with other reviewers that the decor is better than that of most hotels. The bed was extremely comfortable. The only reason I did not give this hotel a 5/5 is because checkout is at noon and at 10:00 a.m. someone came to our door and knocked, I got up immediately to go see who it was and before I even got to the door the employee was letting herself in the room. She did not announce who she was through the door or give me enough time to even answer the door. She then didn't apologize for barging in she simply said "When are you checking out?" It is not acceptable at all that hotel staff let themselves in without announcing who they are and giving enough time for someone to answer the door. And we still had two hours before checkout time.

« Guest Request Ignored - Smoke Filled Room »

Booked through Travelocity three months ago. Arrived at 4:00 PM. Entered the room and immediately smelled something burning. We narrowed it down to the microwave, so we unplugged it. Opened a window and returned to the front desk to let them know about the smell and ask maintenance to take care of it while we went out to eat and go to a concert. The front desk clerk (who later turned out to be the manager) eluded to the fact that the previous guest burnt popcorn really bad the night before (so they KNEW about it, but still rented the room out). We returned to the hotel at 11:00 PM (7 hours later). Microwave was still in the room, and continued to wafe out burnt odor. No effort was made to make the room more livable. I took the microwave to the front desk, since putting it in the hallway for the night probably wasn't a good idea. I asked the night clerk for a different room; property was all booked up. Asked to comp a few bucks off of our bill; offered a $25 off next stay (seldom make it to Fargo). Couldn't refund due to Travelocity prepay. Reluctantly spent the night at the hotel (whole town was booked due to concert). Wife got sick due to odor during the night. Manager promised to contact Travelocity the next morning and call us back. Still no call! Very apathetic manager. Disappointing service, despite this being our 6th time staying here. We will look elsewhere next time in town. Won't book hotels with Travelocity again either, since no way of comping a charge.

« Relaxing Lodge Without Breaking The Bank »

If you want to feel like a millionaire with your own rustic lodge, this is the hotel for you.. The décor is well above average and the colours are very relaxing. We visited during the mid week so the pool was "private" with no other guests. We liked this location so much we asked to view a suite. I think we will spend a few days there this winter

    4
    « prehospilal stay »

The hotel was easy to find. I wish I could have tasted the night reception and day breakfast, both looked and smelled great. Room was up to bw+ standards, no surprise. The only negative was the bed, it was well worn on the facing side, but perfect on the other half.

« BW Goes Far to Impress in Fargo »

We needed a pet friendly room....they do not charge for pets. Reserved a K/NS business plus room. It was very spacious and included a sitting area with sofa and coffee table. There was a shower/toilet room that had room to move around. Sink was extra long countertop was across from that door. Fridge and microwave. Closet too. Room was super clean, bed very comfortable (not too hard, not too soft, no body indents). Great internet access. Temp controls quiet. We had a room that had both an exterior door to car and interior door to hallway. Found it very convenient for taking pet outside as well as for us to have access to interior of hotel. Lobby is welcoming and had a lodgy feel with wood beams. Erin at front desk was very nice/knowledgeable at check-in. You are handed a menu with the hot breakfast items that will be available on the buffet each morning for that week. Morning staff at front desk and breakfast area was very friendly. We did not use pool but it sure looked like kids would love it.

    « Had a great stay »

The room we had was absolutely gorgeous, the kids loved the pool. It is perfect for their ages (1, 2, and 3). Everything about the hotel was great, the front desk staff were so nice, and the breakfast was good. We could have sworn we were the only guests at the hotel during our stay - we did not hear any noise from neighboring rooms or the hallway. Definitely looking forward to our next stay here!

    « Absolutely wonderful hotel »

Everything about this hotel was great. The rooms were large, clean and well furnished. The bed was great, the bathroom very clean. I was most impressed with the Managers Reception in the evening where they served appetizers and drinks to all the guests. The breakfast area was very nice and the selection very good. Our only complaint is that we were not told the hot tub was out of order when we checked in. We had to find this out after heading down to use it. They could have saved us the trouble of changing for nothing. Over all it was a very good stay

    « Lovely, cozy feeling »

Loved the place as soon as we pulled up. Loved the theme from outside to the rooms! Staff was all very friendly. My only dislike was breakfast. It was lukewarm, the hash browns were soggy and the sausage was horrible. I threw it out and had yogurt and a banana. Such a disappointment considering it was so amazing otherwise. The hot tub was out of order and it would have been nice to relax in it after a long day of driving. We did go in the pool when it was just adult time. That I thought was very cool. Thank you.

« Log Cabin Theme with water park »

Really nice cozy log cabin theme with a nice fun pool. I was there for work, and had my son with me. The restaurant next store was an Alien themed pizza place with a nice arcade. The pool had a water slide, and a poolside basketball hoop. Nice place nice location lots of fun. The GPS will get you lost is the only bad thing call the hotel for actual address.

    « A Real Gem! »

From the moment we walked through the front door, we knew this place was special! From the cozy lobby to the fabulous pool, we felt we had entered a "resort". The room was gorgeous with every amenity and breakfast was great. They even offer family movies on Friday nights - something we did not do but loved the idea of it. It is right across the road from a plethora of restaurants so we did not have to take the car out.

    « The ultimate stay »

We totally love this Inn. All staff is so friendly... Manager too. They serve appetizers an wine an beer fr Monday to Thursday fr 5pm to 7pm. Pet friendly which is a big plus for us especially for the inn being so nice and homie. One think we were a little disappointed in. We stayed there once b4 an loved the interior of the rm with the log beds and decor. We thought all rms were like that. Although the rm we had this visit was plain Jane. Was so looking forward to the kind of rm b4. I guess the nxt time we stay there, I will jst have to ask for the rms with the log interior. Besides that.....all was awesome. I would an have recommended this Inn to people without a doubt. Thank you everyone for a awesome stay once again. Keep up the job. Sincerely Dwayne n Trish An our boys

    « A perfect stay! »

Our family of four stayed overnight here on our trip across country. We had stayed in many hotels before all best western and this one was by far the best! It is a very clean, beautiful hotel that makes you feel at home! Our two children enjoyed the water park like pool. We enjoyed the smiling friendly staff as we'll as the great free breakfast in the morning! We also he our two dogs with us and they loves the hotel as well ??

« My favorite Fargo motel. »

Never had anything but an enjoyable experiencehere. Our suite was very roomy with neat decor. Very comfortable bed. Coffee, tea, microwave fridge, coffee pot in room. Nice two person hot tub. Very good hot breakfast.

« Good motel for money. »

We really enjoyed the pool area of this motel. It has several activities for everyone to stay active and involved. The continental breakfast has hot items and for a free breakfast was really good. Rooms are clean and updated. We didn't have a lot of noise issues. No issues with staff being rude, etc. Would stay here again when in the area.

    « GREAT pool area »

This is our third or fourth stay at this hotel. Our six year old loves the pool area and the activities. The continental breakfast has hot items and is very good. The hotel itself is very nice. On this visit, the heating unit in the room made very loud noises when it kicked on, but it was our only experience like that. Our shower head on this visit was a mere trickle as well and we've not experienced that before. Management was informed and I trust it will be fixed. The rooms are a standard size - not overly large, but comfortable. The beds are quite comfortable. A drawback, however, is the bedding. The top "sheet" is so slippery that it falls off during the night. If you're like me and cannot stand to touch the comforter in the middle of the sheets, you will not like the bedding system. It also frustrates me that hotels that are drawing cards to children with a great swim area have not installed swimming suits and life jackets drying racks. Instead, they're draped all over the bathtub and shower curtain rod and on what should be towel racks in the room, which make a terrible slippery mess in the bathrooms. We will definitely stay again, but maybe with my own blankets.

Love this hotel and the people there Beautiful hotel Great breakfast Loved the Managers special of snacks and wine Always stay at this location Attractive décor Like the fact that we had our own entrance/exit Asked for and received adjoining rooms

    « Short Stay »

I arrived at 12:30am after a very long day driving, I found the night staff right there and had me registered and on my way to my room quickly. He explained the morning breakfast and check out time and I was on my way. The room was very nice ,clean and quite. Breakfast was really good and check out easy.

« A Great Best Western in Fargo »

I stayed their twice in the last 30 days and found it clean, friendly, quiet with a very good free breakfast. The pool was very busy with lots of children but it didn't affect the rest of us. The staff is very helpful and very pleasant to deal with.

    « Bar None.best place to stay »

You couldn't ask for more. Clean, friendly and meets your every need. The decor was outstanding from the front door in. The managers special on Thursday was a nice touch to a busy day. Breakfast was hot and lots of variety.

« Clean and pet friendly »

Nice to have an access door from our ground level room directly outside to our car for packing and unpacking. Yet, there is still the hallway access from our room down to the breakfast room in the morning. Pet friendly and no extra fees for the puppy staying with us. Well done

« Best Western in Fargo, ND. »

The Best Western in very well located near the Highway 94. It was our 3rd stay. We love the log cabin design, the pool, the proximity to good restaurants and services. The receptionist even recognized us from our last visit. Very charming.

    5
« Great pool that would be fun for kids »

We had a King Suite which was nice. Had a couch and a large whirpool tub. Our friends reserved a larger suite room that was beautiful with a fireplace, 2 bathrooms, a bar area, and lots of room for all of us to congregate. Everything was clean and nice, and the staff was all very nice and helpful. We didn't have kids with us, but the pool looked like lots of fun for the kids. Lots of fun water features, etc. There is no restaurant in this hotel, but it is walking distance to a few places. We did not try the breakfast.

    2
    « Very Noisey »

Probably a good motel if you have kids that stay up late and like to run around and slam doors. Poor if you want peace and quiet after 10:30. Rooms are not very quiet. Outside rooms on ground floor you get a double whammy. Noise from vehicles and people in the parking lot. We had a noisy vehicle starting and idling a couple of times. finally went to the desk and requested a different room. (down grade but at least quiet) until the herd of minions wake up at 7am and start making noise in the halls

    4
    « Skip the Breakfast »

The rooms at this hotel are very well appointed, the staff is great, and the manager's reception was exceptional. The quality and variety of beverages were better than most hotels in which we've stayed. Breakfast, on the other hand was sub-standard. The eggs weren't really eggs and the breakfast sausage more closely resembled bologna. The warming pans didn't do their job, so breakfast was the low point of this visit.

    5
    « Rustic Luxury »

A terrific place to stay in Fargo. Decor is log cabin luxury. Staff is excellent. Professional yet caring and friendly. Manager reception from 5-7 features beer and wine and snacks. Beautiful rooms with excellent beds. Close to tons of shopping. I definitely recommend .

    « Trip stop »

The past 6 years we have stayed at this hotel 3-4 times most months and have NEVER been disappointed. We are always treated royally by the staff, the rooms are immaculate and cozy, hot breakfasts are delicious and the décor is charming. Our Westie is always welcomed and even supplied treats. We are spoiled and I would change plans before selecting another hotel!

    5
    « REALLY DOG FREINDLY »

We were very happy to have a couples Anniversary weekend Staycation near home, but also our dogs were allowed to be in the ROMANTIC JACCUZZI SUITE. Often hotels say they are PET FRIENDLY BUT then limit you to the smoking or queen suites with no extra features. Or they have a weight limit rather than based on behavior. THEY WERE VERY ACCOMODATING TO OUR TWO 65 POUND BOXERS, WELCOMED WITH TREATS.

« Best hotel I've stayed at in a long time! »

I was here one night during the week. The hotel was so comfortable, great beds, clean and appealing room and the staff was excellent. I enjoyed the manager's reception in the evening. That was a notch above! The staff was so friendly, I really didn't mind being away from home!! Thank you for a great stay.

    5
    « Fantastic Stay! »

I stayed here with family for two nights and we loved this hotel! The rustic lodge theme carries over from the lobby to the rooms. Our room was spacious and spotless, and also extremely quiet. Breakfast was included and there are complementary snacks and beverages each evening during the week. Staff was friendly and helpful. I travel frequently and this was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at.

    4
    « Homey! »

This is great place for families with smaller children. My almost 13 year old was a little bored by the pool area, but my younger son enjoyed it! Fairly quiet, could hear some running in the halls on the floors above us. Beds are above average but kind of hard. Pillows are nice, water pressure in the shower is good. Rooms were clean. All in all, I think we would stay here again.

Staff very Friendly, Rooms very Clean Business office well organized. I had a question about the computers and printers in the Business center, The young lady on duty was very helpful and Professional. I sayed there 5 days. I do'nt now if this young lady is a MGR or not, but she should be. I plan on Staying Again. I will get her name and give Her the recognition she deserves. .

    « Wonderful! »

I have stayed at this hotel twice and have been pleased with both visits. I had a suite the first visit and a standard room the second time. The décor is beautiful with the outdoor theme and the pool and hot tub were very relaxing. The kids had a great time with the miniature water slide. It was also very important to have a place to stay that allows pets. The breakfast served had many choices.

    5
    « Comfortable beds! »

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds, nice size bathroom. Microwave and refrigerator is always appreciated. Enjoyed the breakfast. Easy to get to from the Interstate. Will stay here again!

    « Best ever! »

I've never had a better staff ever! They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best. Even the cleaning staff were very nice! The hotel itself was beautiful with big clean rooms and they're pet friendly! The pool is the best kid themed pool we have ever visited and our 2 year old son had a blast.

« Nicest staff and the most comfortable beds »

I always stay here when I'm in Fargo overnight. The staff is always accommodating and they have the most comfortable beds ever. The breakfast is very good and they keep everything well stocked so you never have to worry about them running out of anything. Location is most convenient from I-94 and West Acres Shopping Center besides the many restaurants and bars that are all very close. Very nice! Highly recommend!

« My go to place in Fargo »

When staying in Fargo to visit my College children, we always stay here. It is easy to get to off the freeway, the decor is pleasant. the rooms are comfortable. My only suggestion would be to mount the televisions on the wall a foot or two higher with a pivot, so they would be more comfortable to view the bed or desk area. Another plus for this hotel, there are enough plugins for chargers, CPAPS, ect. on both sides of the bed. THANK YOU!!!!

« The best place to stay !!! »

The Kelly Inn in Fargo, ND is an example of how a first class hotel should operate. The staff is always cordial and hellpful, the rooms are spotless and the decorating is top-notch. We always plan our trip around staying there enroute.

    « Great place! »

I enjoyed my stay so much that I went out of my way to travel back to Fargo the next evening so I could stay there a second night. Because I was staying for business I could have stayed at any of the hotels in the area.

« Peaceful Quiet Comfortable Place to Stay »

Received a very warm welcome upon check in. The clerk helped to change my room so I was on the First floor with a room with an outside outlet. The over night temperature was -10 below F. I checked into a room with a king bed and was not disappointed. The room had a sitting area away from the bed so was able to get my work done. The outlets were readily available for all my electronics. I recharged al my equipment. I booked my stay right with the hotel and was given a rate that beat the internet.

« We were on route home after a month away. »

We had stayed in the Kelly Inn , Billings Montana the night prior to Fargo and felt right at home as the decor and furnishings were similar. Not only that, we were given the very same room number! good karma.Great stay in a comfortable room. We had a super dinner at the Italian restaurant next door. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. For sure we will stay here again. Linda and Ed

« Great time in Fargo ND »

Despite the cold temperatures and snows of the season, Best Western folk of Fargo North Dakota make you feel warm and welcome. We were treated to a social hour with beverages and appetizers as part of our stay. It was a pleasant surprise after driving in the winter just before Christmas to sit, relax and relate with fellow travelers. Oh yes, as always the room was clean and welcoming as well.

    « Great Fargo Hotel »

I stay at this hotel whenever I go to Fargo, and have never been disappointed. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and even the amenities are well-maintained. There is really nothing negative to say, which may be why their main entrance is decorated with awards they have won.

    3
    « Good stay »

The front desk staff was informative and helpful. We brought our 2 dogs and we loved that there was an outside door and a hall door. That was so convenient. The pool was fun and the breakfast was great. The only complaint I had about the breakfast was when I asked if the sausage or hashbrowns were gluten free they were not sure if it was. Kitchen help should be aware of those things these days. My other complaint was the sheets and blankets were washed in detergent with a scent or maybe it was the fabric softener. I had a hard time sleeping because of the smell. Unscented detergents clean just as well as scented and then people like me arent bothered by it. If you change that, I'm sure we will be back some day.

« ... "free upgrade from time to time" »

I have to admit i do stay at the Best Western Kelly Inn at Fargo every time i visit Fargo, therefore i am somewhat bias to this Motel. So for those of you who visit the area frequently and even occasionally, i highly recommend making your reservation here. the staff is always top-notch, and when the Motel is near full booking, they quite often will provide me with a free upgrade to a suite room or a whirlpool equipped room, etc.

    5

    « Baby Shower & Stay »

After looking all of the Fargo-Moorhead area for a place to host my sister's baby shower, we chose this motel. We couldn't be more satisfied with the conference room, staff, room to rent for the night, and the pool. The conference room was nice and large with plenty amenities and we were able to bring our own food in. The beds were nice and comfy and rooms decent size to stay in. I would definitely host another event here in the future and we will definitely be coming back to stay the night when in Fargo, again!!!

« Great stay as always! »

This hotel has always provided an excellent experience every time we go to Fargo! We have always been disappointed when they are full and we have had to stay somewhere else. They had upgraded us to a suite with a king bed and a sofa sleeper. But after seeing the sofa sleeper, we felt it would be too small for our daughter and granddaughter who were joining us the next day. They switched us back to a room with 2 queen beds with no hassles.

    « Nice clean hotel »

Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and courteous. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a good selection of foods. Located centrally to all the shopping in Fargo. Good value hotel, with many restaurants nearby within walking distance.

    « Clean and a great value »

The entire hotel is very clean and well kept. Nice rooms, friendly staff, a great value! My first choice to stay in Fargo, ND. Very nice complementary beer, wine and snacks in the evening, and a nice breakfast to start the day in the morning.

    « great for travel »

It is very clean in all areas and the staff are great. The manager's app's are good and the wine selection too. Only complaint would be that the fitness area could use an update to get rid of the carpet.

« Best Western Plus Kelly Inn & Suites »

Well I was very excited to stay at this hotel because of the great reviews and also have stayed at several Best Western properties thru out the state and am a Best Western Rewards Holder and we have found them to be very comfortable and with great customer service and great breakfast,When we got to this destination though the place appeared to be very nicely decorated and comfortable however we ended up having to switch hotels because the front desk person would not allow us to pay for our room stay with cash. They said it had to be on a credit card, We had the full amount to pay for it just not on our card because we were under the understanding we could pay in cash when arriving and were from out of town but they wouldn't allow that. So we ended up staying instead at a hotel in moorhead for about 1/2 the price and also they offered a comedy show at that one so was a much better deal. I feel bad I cannot give this hotel a great review. I would have liked to, It appeared visually to be a nice place but their customer service is lacking in that they should allow cash as a form of payment. So just be prepared when staying there to keep enough money on your credit card.- (This is the review I had originally posted but since this happened the manager called to make this right and told us that their employee should have accepted cash and known better, It was just a mistake by one of the employees working that day who was misinformed and that they would issue a discount if we stayed with them next time we came into town, So I gave them a better review. The customer service from management and quick reply to our situation was very good. I guess it just depends on who you encounter when you are checking in. But the manager did call to make things right with our situation. Cannot give them a perfect stars cuz of what we encountered when trying to stay there but will say their management atleast is very good.)

My husband and I were on a 6 week road trip across multiple states and this was by far the best place. The staff was friendly, the room was VERY nice, the whole facility was super clean, to include the laundry, and the managers welcome was fabulous. This is the first best western I've stayed at in a long time, but if others accept pets, I will definitely look them up again as we travel often.

this hotel was so friendly and cozy and the room was nicely decorated and very clean. The manager's reception with beverages and snacks each night a very nice touch. « Great Visit To Fargo »

Great visit. We had wheelchair accessible room. We have stayed at many hotels that say they have wheelchair/handicap accessible rooms, this truly was what it said. Large and comfortable room. Bed was very comfortable. Friendly & helpful staff. Breakfast was awesome, not just toast and juice. Had awesome choice of food to choose from. We didn't a chance to use pool area but it looked like all were having fun. It did look quite crowded Saturday afternoon. It has excellence choices of area restaurants and Johnny Carino's delivers to hotel. We met up with our sons family at hotel who were pleased with hotel and location.

« Great staff, excellent kids' pool area, decent FREE breakfast »

I would definitely stay at this hotel again if in Fargo. The rooms were very nice, clean and updated. The staff was very helpful. I was seriously impressed by the kids' indoor pool area. It was huge with every kid staying at the hotel and hosted water features, 2 small slides, and miniature lily-pad water obstacle course. Our three-year-old loved it and had such a good time he cried when we left. Apparently this indoor pool area of the hotel is also popular amongst locals and neighboring townsfolk, as there was a kids' birthday party being hosted there that night if that's any indication of the quality of enjoyment associated with this aspect of the hotel. There is also a number of floaties for parents who have children too young to swim. The hot tub has a decent view of the kid's area which is well-thought out. The breakfast was a little either overdone or parts of it were reheated. The eggs were powdered eggs, but weren't too bad. The had toast and I think I remember some bagels and different kinds of mini muffins. Orange juice, apple juice, coffee. The sausage (which I can't remember the name of...uh basi or something?) was very dry and tasted almost as if it had been reheated from a previous day's breakfast. It may have just been that they were overcooked, not sure. Flavor was decent.

« Here for Taylor swift »

I knew I liked best western. That's why I stayed with you. I know there are other options in town but I prefer you. The price was fairly good. We first had a room on the third floor but we could hear the pool noise so we asked to be moved to a different room and that was much quieter. The room size was average. Good enough for us. The front desk staff was very friendly. They answered every question that we had and that was good. The breakfast was very good but the omelettes could taste better. On the second day, I wanted a waffle but the lineup was too long. I asked the girl for a cinnamon bun and she went to the back and got me one. They had muffins, bread and yogurt and everything else you could imagine. Let's just say it was a really good breakfast. The maids were even friendly. I asked them for a laundry bag and they gave me one. I might consider staying with you again but I do sometimes stay at other chains. It was very clean but the managers reception was nothing to brag about. Basically taco chips and snacky things. Not what I was expecting. I also liked the log cabin feel. The hot tub was very hot.

    5
    « Love this place! »

Beautiful decor, friendly staff, and wonderful to our pets (they each received a welcome gift)! First floor rooms have an outside entrance, so the dogs didn't have to go through the motel. Breakfast and nightly Manager's Reception were an added bonus. Highly recommend!

We got this hotel room last minute and it was wonderful. The kids enjoyed the pool and the log cabin-ish décor. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable and the hotel staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was also good. It was a much needed, restful stay.

    « Amazing hotel! »

The Best Western Kelly Inn was an amazing hotel! The decor was so fun & very lodge like. My girls loved the Bears climbing on the outside & they loved exploring & looking at all the fun pictures inside. The staff were so friendly from the time we got there until we left & my girls & I have decided Fargo is just an amazingly friendly city & we can't wait to go back! The waterpark/swimming pool was a nice way to unwind from the drive. The continental breakfast was nice & hit with lots of choices. We really liked that they gave you a paper at check in that told details for our stay such as what would be for breakfast, wifi password & hours for the pool. We can't wait to stay here again!!

« Glad we stayed here »

We were traveling with family and friends for a running event in Fargo and stayed here. The kids loved the pool, which had several water features for them to enjoy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to eat nearby, and staying on the first floor with its exterior door made leaving early in the morning for our race very easy.

This hotel looks like an rustic log home/building. Very neat and located near many points of interest. It has access to the outside directly from the ground floor rooms....very neat considering this isn't usually an option for decent hotels in the northern states.
