    « excellent motel »

This motel was a little out of way but well worth going to it. It was clean and employees were pleasant and took good care of us. Room had all necessaties already in the room, we did not have to ask or go and get anything from front.

    4
    « Great value »

The value was great, room and service very good but we were there to watch our son graduate from Boot Camp and did not spend a ton of time in the room. It was clean, and just what we needed, very pleased.

    5
    « great stay »

Great stay. At first we were skeptical since the cost was low and there were mixed reviews, but after we got in the room, we were very satisfied. It's clean, no bad smell, bed was comfortable, room has big windows facing lush green trees. Breakfast wasn't the best, eggs ran out at 8:30.

    « Pleasant Stay »

Whenever I come to the Columbus area, I chose to stay at Best Western. I love the interior of the rooms and the comfort. I have not ran into any problems and chose to stay at this hotel several weekend stays throughout the summer. The only improvement I would suggest is to upgrade the exterior of the hotel. It looks a bit dated and is a bit misleading about the quality of the hotel. The interior rooms have been updated and the outside building should reflect.

    2
    « Disappointing Stay »

There was an odor in the room and the hot/cold water faucets were labeled incorrectly. Room did not get cleaned, even though we left early morning and were gone all day. The toilet was very slow to flush. Hotel needs upgrades. Staff was friendly and helpful.

    « A lovely end to a busy workday »

I was totally blown away by this Best Western property! It was so clean and relaxing! I knew, the moment I walked into the lobby and saw the 100% health rating, it was going to be exceptional! The staff is so professional and helpful. They take great care to protect your privacy and security! Awesome! Tequila (housekeeping staff) was absolutely fantastic! She did an outstanding job, and should be recognized for her work ethic! The rooms were spacious, designed to help you relax, even if you have to do work from your room. I love the bed desk that is there!!! I will definitely be back when on business trips to Columbus.

    « Pleasure Trip »

Great location for visiting all of the sites that Columbus offers. Easy access to all major highways. The accommodations and cleanliness were very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful in explaining points of interest of areas that we wanted to visit. It was a pleasure for us to stay at this hotel.

    « Weekend Stay »

Great hotel for the price, next to highway, would stay again. Room was fairly nice, bathroom could have been better. Clean room, decent Wi-Fi, decent swimming pool.!@#$^%&*()abcdefghijklonopqrstuwxzyu

    « Ok »

First time in Georgia. At first I was a little disappointed but then I realized it was ok.They had a nice Continental breakfast and free internet, walking distance to lots of restaurants and stores.I haven't been to a Denny's in a long time.

    2
    « Old Property »

An older property that is more on the level of a motel 6 than a Best Western. The staff and maids do an excellent job but the motels age is to much for them to overcome. Small rooms. Slow toilet. Should cost much less.

    « Dirty »

We stayed at BW to see our cousin graduate boot camp, plus it was my fiancé and I anniversary. We drove 14 hours to have dirty towels and only stay one night instead of two because we woke up to a cockroach on the wall. Will never stay there again. The bathroom was also dirty we had to clean the tub before getting in it. There was also no cold water.

    « Wouldn't Come Back »

I would highly recommend staying somewhere else. I booked this room for three nights for my boyfriend's graduation. Got there and I couldn't even get the outlets to work for most of my electronics. My phone wouldn't charge. Extremely rowdy guests in the room next to me. You can hear the traffic on the road like you were sleeping on the sidewalk. Carpet had a lot of stains. I ended up booking a room elsewhere after the first night. There are better options. This may be cheap, but it's definitely not worth it.

    « Awsome Stay »

Quick Registration and Quick Check out mode. Everyone was nice and respectful. The lounge was clean and the room was very clean and nice. No stains in carpet, air condition on point. The only annoying item was the bed squeak, but I was in a double so I got in the other bed. I stay was very short but I did get the need rest for the night.

    « Great stay »

Older hotel. Staff were super. Air conditioning was cold. Bed comfortable. Breakfast was good. Even the housekeeping staff checked on me to see if everything was ok in the room. When I go back, I will stay there!

    « Always NIce »

One of the better BW motels. Very nice and CLEAN. Beautiful, comfortable bed, and a great location. Large mall and restaurants close by. Breakfast O. K. Personnel were extremely nice. A bit awkward getting into the motel which sets behind a restaurant, but well worth the effort.

    « Shocking!!! »

I was very nervous about booking this room but everything was perfect. Room was clean and comfortable. I didn't know go to breakfast. They charge a half of day for wanting to checkout a hour late...that's my only complaint. I'd come back next time I'm in Columbus.

    « Fort Bennington visit »

We were in Columbus to visit our Marine son. I am giving it 5 stars. We had no issues, great staff, nice room. Once we got there i forgot about the cheap price we paid. It was a last minute budget trip. I was very pleased with Best Western. Our bedding was clean and fresh. The carpet was clean and the furniture looked new. The room was as nice as a more expensive hotel we would have normally booked if it wasn't a budget trip. The staff was very friendly as well. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. I would book this hotel again. No worries.

wow thank you teketa, denise and manager, were able to check in right away, had smiles on their faces, thay were efficient, the room was just right, the breakfast was fantastic. we would definitely stay there again, already looking at my calendar to see when we might be able to get up there again. they were very helpful and nice, as we were in town for doctor appointments due to a motor vehicle crash we were in recently. they were clearly concerned about us getting what we needed during out stay. even how did you sleep? got good sleep and felt rested. I cant remember when we ever had a better hotel stay anywhere. thank yall and bless you so much. outstanding in every way thank you

    « Leisure »

I didn't give a second thought about where I wanted to stay when I learned of the Tyrese and Tank concert, that was held on the 25th of April. My right arm is swollen due to being bit by an insect. My friend girl was bitten also. The front desk clerk said Mr. William would take care of everything! That is a lie. Mr. Williams is the manager of the site. I had to contact him, he promised to call back that Monday afternoon I have yet to hear from him. I always rate this location as a 5 star, yet the way I have been ignored warrants the low score.

    5
    « Best in town! »

our stay here was great. finally a place to rest my head w/o worrying about bugs! staff is caring and breakfast is filling! definitely worth the price.lots of stores n restaurants to choose from.members have lots of perks.

    « Columbus, Georgia »

This hotel is very nice, I love staying at this hotel when in the area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. TaQuita at the front desk is amazing always helpful with a smile on her face. The beds are comfortable and the location is perfect.

« Better than it looks »

outside is outdated but inside was on par. Wish it had full hot breakfast. But they did have microwaveable mini sausage biscuits and breakfast burrito. Being next to interstate is loud with racing bikes and cars.

    5
    « Excellent Service & Rooms »

This hotel was very nice and the staff was nice and pleasant. They were very helpful Rooms were clean and everything was nice in the room. The front desk even called to make sure everything was ok with the room There was a Mexican place, Waffle House, and Japanese Steak & Sushi place right in front of hotel. So didn't have to drive anywhere to go eat. Also there was a Brewster's there too.

« Not a lot of frills, but nice hotel »

Me and my husband stayed here for this past Christmas, and did not have a problem with our stay. The rooms were clean and the microwave & fridge came in handy. It is not a luxury hotel by any means, but perfect for a few days stay. The breakfast was decent and staff very friendly. We would stay here again.

« Business travel, good stay, but right next to major interstate »

I booked a room through a travel site and reserved the King suite. The room & amenities were nice, especially for the price I paid. The room had been recently renovated, and the bathroom appeared brand new. (Pictures included) I stayed for 2 nights, and had a mostly wonderful stay. The only reason I marked this hotel as average was a specific experience with the night staff. As I was traveling on business, I woke up early to get ready, have breakfast and leave for my morning appointments. As previously stated, the bathroom was newly renovated, and I didn't notice until the next morning while getting ready, the in-room hairdryer had either not yet been installed, or had been stolen. I called the front desk to see if they could bring one to the room, and the receptionist at the front desk stated, "maintenance doesn't get here until 9:00 a.m." That was it. No offer to bring a spare. No promise to send someone as soon as they got there at 9. (When I got back in my room later that evening, one still had not been installed). I had to go purchase one at the drug store across the street. The good stuff: the room is nice, has a refrigerator and microwave in-room, and there are an assortment of dining & shopping options within a quick drive. The free breakfast in the morning is wonderful, and the staff in the morning (after 8 or 9 apparently) are exceptional and friendly. The bad stuff: the night crew is not nearly as accommodating as the day crew, and the hotel is literally right next to a major interstate, so noise can be an issue. Altogether, I would stay here again, but I would make sure all amenities are in the room before getting settled!

    2
    « Noisy »

Could hear couple above our room my daughter and I were staying at, very embarrassing. Also hotel employee was talking very loud outside our door twice and woke us up. Just pathetic that he did not understand that guests were trying to sleep.

    1
    « Worse experience ever. »

The management and staff were very rude. I would never stay at a best western again ever if the rooms were free. The manager asked us to leave on Christmas eve. The reason being I carried too much food to my room and I filed a complaint with corporate. He indirectly address this in the breakfast room addressing a guy saying "you know you can not take food to your room". Meanwhile telling the guy " I was not referring to you and the people I m referring too knows who they are". The guy threatened to call the 800 number due to the escalation of the situation in front of other guests. Never did the manager address any problems with me prior to this. I mean where is the southern hospitality or where is the heart around the holiday season. Can you say RETRAINING.

    « Great trip »

My husband has reserves 1 weekend a month at Fort Benning and I always accompany him. This is first time staying at this Best Western. Overall trip experience was great for the price. We encountered no problems and the staff was wonderful. We will definitely be back. Thanks. Deb

    « Not empressed »

Noise. From interstate & other guest. Didn't have a blow drier, when to the front desk to ask for one, she said she didn't have one to give me... alot of lady bugs in my room (what's that a sign of) more bugs.

    5
    « Very Nice. »

Best Western offers a very nice room for a good value. Helpful staff and a well cared for room. Breakfast offered a nice variety, and hotel was in good location for our needs. Would stay here again for sure.

    « A pretty decent hotel »

I stayed here during the week for several weeks while on business and for the most part found this to be a nice hotel to stay at. THE GOOD: Looks to be remodeled in the last few years as it appears modern and a newer color scheme. Breakfast is typical hotel fare but there is always plenty to eat. Relatively quiet. It is near the interstate but even working overnights I didn't hear a lot of noise once I got into my room and settled down. THE BAD: Internet is free but spotty at times. Dining choices have a variety but not a lot of choices for fine dining. Lots more choices about 10-15 min away. THE UGLY: Exterior corridors. It's an older building and if you look closely you can see the evidence of its age but it is maintained. Somebody who drives a Mitsubishi car never knew how to park. They would park in the striped-no parking area between the handicapped spots or double park. I said something about this to the front desk but nothing ever changed. I suspect it was a staff member but can't prove it. Bottom line is that it's a nice hotel and I will stay there again if I'm ever in that area.

« Pleasant Stay with No Issues »

I stayed overnight while traveling through and was not disappointed. I was able to rest well to continue my journey the next day. The room was clean, the front desk staff friendly and helpful, and the shower worked well. The bed was nice, no dirt or bugs, and the linens were clean. The room did not smell. I requested a ground floor room upon making my reservation and the front desk clerk was aware and had taken note. She was happy to accommodate my request. I appreciated that the hotel was not too far from the highway as well, but wasn't so close to cause interruptions in sleep. The only improvement I could suggest for the rooms would be to offer better tasting coffee and fix the bathroom floor that was very slippery. The floor towel that is provided is small and does not adequately cover the floor as needed. I would suggest finding a way to fix this to prevent slip and fall accidents. The breakfast provided was pretty standard fare and great for what it was. I had waffles and apples. Yogurt, fruit, and an assortment of cereals with 2 % milk was also offered. Orange juice and coffee was also available. Checkout was painless and quick. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who asks as I feel it is a nice hotel for the price of the room.

    4
    « Noise »

The hotel is to close to the I85. If I had know I would have ask for a room on the opposite side of the Interstate. The location is good, but getting to the location requires making U-Turns and in not visible from the road.

    5
    « No major issues »

We've stayed at this location many times while visiting our son at Ft. Benning, and we've never had any major problems. The rooms are very comfortable and the morning breakfast saves us money from eating out somewhere. Our only minor issue was the shower drain was very slow causing the tub to almost completely fill. We were told their plumber can only come on weekends, and we were only here one night, so it did not become a major problem.

    5
« Well located and excellent value »

My bride had two surgeries at Hughston Clinic, so I picked the Best Western as being both convenient and reasonably priced. I found the hotel on Travelocity, then checked prices on Best Western website (substantially higher), so I booked through Travelocity. I had requested a ground floor non-smoking room because my wife wasn't moving well, and was pleased to get one in the quiet corner of the hotel farthest from the traffic noise. Internet speed was satisfactory, though I did lose connection several times a day and have to re-enter the password. Breakfast the first day was a freshly made waffle with the typical syrup packets. Later that day, I bought a jug of real maple syrup from Sams Club, and enjoyed the heck out of my breakfast every day afterwards.

« Worst Hotel Experience ever »

1st room was filthy smelled like mildew, water spots on mirror, food on night stand, hair on counter, thick crud around trim above sink. 2nd room bedding was not changed crumbs/hair on bed, hair on pillow pee on bathroom wall, hairs around sink& tub, filth around sink backsplash. Floor was not vacuumed, dust, filthy behind bed, toilet dirty, cold shower one morning, Was offered 3rd room I declined and told them to bring me clean bedding a vacuum and clorox wipes which they did. would have changed hotels but nothing available due to graduation and it was late. We always stay at best westerns and they are nice this one was filthy, loud due to being next to the interstate and people outside at night being loud. All around I would never stay here again and I do not recommend it to anyone...staff was friendly but all around worst hotel experience ever.

    5
    « Our Stay »

Our stay was enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable and it was a fair value. The restaurant in the parking lot Viva El Toro was amazing. The staff was VERY Friendly and Helpful. We were very satisfied with the service provided.

    « Ft Benning Graduation »

My family recently visited this hotel while down for my son's graduation from bootcamp. We had a pleasant stay. We especially enjoyed using the lobby one evening to play a game of cards. It is a great place for military families to stay.

    1
    « Horrible »

Our first room we walked in and the TV was on and dirty men's under ware on the bathroom floor. We complained and were given another room. The second room none of the lights would turn on, again we complained and given a third room. We should have just asked for a refund and left after the second room. At this point we were tired and starving after traveling all day. After we came back from dinner and settled in around 9:30. Went to sleep and I got up at 1:10 am to use the restroom, flushed the toilet and it overflowed nonstop called front desk and said that was it we wanted a refund and needed to find another hotel in the middle of night. Desk clerk apologized and said she cancelled the charge. The next day the manager, Mr. Williams charged my card for one nights stay anyway. I asked him why he would do this when we had such a horrible experience and he was extremely rude. He lied telling me that we trashed the room, then he said well you were in the room for 4 to 6 hours, then he said we must of did something to the toilet, he just went on and on saying terrible things with no apology for our nightmere we had there. No integrity, terrible customer service. This man should not be running a business for Best Western. My bank is helping me dispute the charge with best western corporate office.

« Okay for the price »

Stayed 4 nights for family weekend at Fort Benning for our son in Boot Camp. Front Desk ladies were very nice except in morning at breakfast time when they just stood there while parents just let their kids play w/ muffins/bagels/waffle maker...there was actually a child about 7 who was taking bites out of muffins & putting them back...staff was right there as was parent & nothing done..NO MUFFINS FOR US THAT DAY...they DO NOT restock breakfast items, if something runs out it's out PERIOD...breakfast started at 6am and construction workers came in about 5:55am & cleaned out all the chicken biscuits one morning in about 5 mins all were GONE...seen staff open the supply closet & it was a little worrisome to see mop bucket/mop/cleaning supplies kept together w/ the food supply...Room was clean and housekeeping did a great job every day we were there and we tipped them really well for their hard work...no guest laundry :(....Pool was still closed as stated in another review from a few weeks ago, no work currently being done on it...You get what you pay for here...cheap & clean room...breakfast has HUGE PROBLEMS so don't depend on that...

    4
    « Business trip »

Overall I have a good experience. The staff is friendly and willing to help. The rooms are kept clean. Like most hotels they need to change the desk top lights with the plug in's. They are loose and hard to charge anything in them.

    5
« Cheap price, nice hotel »

This hotel was wonderful. The customer service was incredible. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and even gave me a room on the bottom floor as I requested. The bed was super comfortable and the sheets were bright white. The pool was also very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay here again.

    4
    « Value for money »

You get what you pay for at Best Westerns. A roomy room, comfortable bed and DIY breakfast. The problem was that if you arrived at breakfast after 8.30am they had run out of certain items! So - don't leave it too late to get breakfast! A word on the staff: friendly and helpful.

« Excellent motel for vacation »

This Best Western is the best one I've ever stayed at, and rates for quality of personnel as high as a brand name resort. The facility was clean, well designed, and our rooms were always taken care of in the best manner. Everyone who worked there always had a smile on their face and a friendly hello. Any request was always happily met. They were part of the joy of our vacation. Thanks to everyone!
