Best Western Green Tree Inn

Some construction on the roads which meant we had to get there in a round about way. We arrived at about 10:30pm and were checked in immediately by a wonderful receptionist. There is $150 deposit required. The room was clean, quiet, dark and warm. The car was parked right outside so we could retrieve stuff from the car easily. The shower was great. There was a dorm sized fridge/ freezer, which we needed. In the morning we attended the breakfast which was provided along with most of the other patrons. There was just enough seating. The food was good.. a buffet of eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, make your own waffles, dry cereals, yoghurt, and oatmeal. My husband is a vegan and we had brought granola and almond milk- good thing. Checkout was very easy. We hung out in the eating area for about 20 minutes after checkout without an issue. All in all I would return if we ever pass through again. Very reasonably priced. ($95 not including room tip). Booked online.

When you go away to celebrate your 25th anniversary and have someone try to get unto your room after 11 pm because the keys were given out to more than one family. My mind just cannot get over how poorly this entire event was handled. No apology, nothing. Literally the following morning the receptionist acted like it was no big deal... so either it's a common occurrence or they could care less that strangers almost walked into another person's room.

This hotel offers clean rooms, comfortable beds, well maintained bathrooms, and a hot breakfast at a great price. Good staff. Motel design makes it easy to transfer to room. Quiet. Park of one building had a fire several months ago, all of that debris has been removed. I would stay there again.

This hotel has all outside rooms. The good news is that their beds are some of the most comfortable I've found in any hotel. Being a ‘Diamond' member usually gets me some of my requests. I asked for a quiet room and got one ( unfortunately it was way in back and I had to drive to get my morning coffee). Our refrigerator wasn't working and they replaced within a couple of hours. Many hotels do not clean your room daily unless you request it. I requested it, and didn't get it cleaned. After complaining they did clean it on day two. Day two also brought its own issues. No coffee when I went to get it a 8:00 in the morning. The clerk did get some from a neighboring hotel, but I had to wait 10 minutes. If I'm in the Clarksville/Louisville area again, I may stay here, or I may find a different location.

Definitely will stay again. Close to every type of food imagined & shopping. Staff was super helpful & nice. Room was comfortable & clean. Breakfast was hot & variety! The biscuits & gravy was amazing!

Just passing thru, traveling with pets. Startled to see upon arrival that half the hotel had burned in a fire. Supposedly will be replacing that part. So currently your choices in rooms are either to face the freeway, or face the burned out building. We faced the freeway. Couldn't park our truck towing a trailer in the parking lot, had to park across the road in a gravel lot. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was decent. Several restaurants nearby within walking distance. Not sure this would be my first choice to stay at in the future, but maybe it will be nicer when they rebuild the burn out.

Our room was very clean and quiet. Even though the hotel is right off the interstate, we never heard any road noise, other guests, etc. They provide an abundance of toiletries, including body lotion, makeup remover wipes and a shower cap. Plenty of towels for the two of us. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the room, along with a side chair. Golden Corral and Mexican restaurant within walking distance.

This Best Western is advertised as a hotel, but is actually a motel (one level with all doors facing the outside). It's in a great location near lots of dining options, and a short trip to Louisville, KY (which is the location we were visiting). The room was very small but adequate for just my wife and I for the amount of time we actually spent there (which was pretty much just to sleep), definitely not big enough for a family. We arrived to check-in at 2:45pm (45 minutes early), but were told by the unfriendly manager that we would have to come back at 3:30pm, which when we returned the staff had changed and the person at the front desk was much friendlier and welcoming, recognizing my platinum elite rewards member status. The carpet in the room was very dirty and needs a professional steam cleaning, so make sure to where socks or shoes while in the room. There were also annoying gnats flying around in the room and also around the coffee machine in the breakfast/dining area, so in addition to a professional steam cleaning, they also need a professional exterminator to get rid of all the gnats.

The hotel was clean and felt safe. There are burned down buildings on the property, which was strange, but didn't affect our stay. A hot breakfast was included, service was good, location was convenient, and they allow pets for a $22/day fee. There were no surprise fees, which I regularly experience when staying at hotels unfortunately. The room felt very very cheap for the price we paid (~480 for 2 nights) but I recognize it doesn't usually cost that much. We booked very last minute while a music festival was in town, so every hotel in the area was considerably more expensive than usual. I would HAPPILY pay around $75/night (which is what seems to be the norm for them) for a clean and safe place to stay for the night, and this is definitely that.

This place was dirty, there was a blood stain on my sheet. They would not give us more than 3 sets of towels (total). Wouldn't get us an extra chair to sit at the tiny table. Wouldn't stay here again. Do better Best Western!!

The best!! Staff is great, rooms are clean, breakfast is great!! We stay here annually when we visit Louisville for the Street Road Nationals. Been coming to this hotel for 20 years. It's close to many restaurants.

The room had an odor, the lights didn't work, and it turns out half the hotel burned down two weeks before and we were not informed of this until we went to our room and saw the ruined building. Staff was not knowledgeable enough or just not willing to problem solve the issue, and we were unable to stay at the hotel due to the deplorable conditions. Despite leaving due to safety concerns (potential for another fire to be started by the electrical grid which was not working properly) we were not given a refund due to "making the reservation too far in advance."

Hotel appeared to be very well maintained. The style of the hotel was unique, but charming. Friendly staff and we had a great breakfast. Everything was clean and we encountered no issues during our stay. Would definitely stay here again if traveling through.

Stale smoke smell in room. Sticky floors. Someone next door to our room appeared to be LIVING here with her car parked outside full of junk. Across the way a window had a bullet hole ? Junked windowless vehicle in the parking lot. one positive comfy bed and pillows. That's it. Stay anywhere else.

worst hotel I've stayed at in 10 years. The first room smelled awful and they gave us a second room with new vinyl floor. it was sticky... to the point that you almost lost your shoes when you walked across the floor. awful hotel. would never recommend.

We had to travel to Louisville for a family funeral. We chose Best Western in Clarksville because it is close to our son. We had stayed there before and had always had a good experience there. Room is always clean, staff very helpful and it's just kind of a relaxing, homey feel. We love the fact you can pull right up in front of your room which is so much more convenient than many other we have stayed in. Highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel appears nice and well manicured on the outside. The staff were helpful and kind, but my bathroom had not been cleaned. There was large amounts of hair in the shower that could only be missed if someone hadn't been in there at all.

Really bad experience, from the call to ask for a room change, she was rude on the phone, she was rude to the guest who was speaking to her, the room was such a disappointment. the bed was so lumpy, the sheets were itchy and dry, the pillows had lumps on it! the A/C made washing machine noise all night!, the tub drain took forever to drain, there was mold on the corner? should I keep going?

This was a pretty good hotel, especially considering the location and the AMAZING Mexican restaurant beside of it. The hotel room was a bit old, but seemed to be kept well. I like how close the hotel is to Louisville, KY and it's only an hour and a half from Indianapolis, IN, too. If you're just looking for a place to hang your hat for the night, I'd recommend this one. Although it isn't the cheapest hotel, it's one of the cheapest options around that location. And seriously, I highly recommend the Mexican restaurant beside of it.... I believe it's Senor Iguanas!

Breakfast was great, they had a waffle maker, toppings available, very clean. Had other great breakfast options as well! Room were clean and cold! The shower was very hot! Didn't have to worry about running out of warm water! Friendly helpful staff, not a bad location

The Hotel was clean and really situated in a great location. Each room has a parking spot right in front of the room also it is easy to unload your luggage. We felt very safe staying there. My only complaint was the cleaning staff doesn't come until the 4th day of your stay. We ran out of toilet paper and had to call for more. We didn't have enough towels for 4 days and the trash bags were all filled to overflowing by the 4th day..

Random stop coming thru town. Cheapest price compared to others. Friendly check in staff. Rooms were clean with comfy beds. However......... The "hot breakfast" was a different issue. Someone left burnt waffles in the waffle maker, gravy for biscuits was cold, juice machine didn't work so you drank coffee or warm water. No milk, cereal or bread. Choices were waffles, runny fake eggs, sausage patties, biscuits, gravy, tangerines, fruit cup, prepackaged rolls water or coffee. We would stay again, but not plan on the breakfast here.

I am a BW Gold member (6006637459904272). After my recent stay at the Clarksville, Ind. I have serious doubts that I will EVER stay at another BW again. Upon arriving at the hotel on May 29th, 2022 at 2:30 I proceeded to check into my reserved room. I was greeted by a very curt "May I help you" and then a very snappy curt response of "Check-In isn't until 3:30". Having not been aware of the check-in time I found her tone very off-putting. It was like the person had no customer service or social skills at all. So, I came back to the hotel an hour later and a much younger person was at the counter. After informing her I would like to check-in, there was several minutes of silence while she stared down at her computer offering no explanation for the delay. After she finally spoke after securing my room reservation, she then proceeded to inform of the rate. She told me my rate would be $136 + change. I had the copy of reservation which I had printed showing my rate would be $123. She then proceeded to tell me that it was due to a miscalculation of taxes on my internet reservation which I made directly through the Best Western web site. I then explained to her that the rate on my copy did indeed include the taxes as well. She said she could only go by the information on her computer screen. I then inquired how we could resolve the matter, and if she had a number of a regional ofc or corporate number that could be called rectify the discrepancy. She said that she did have any numbers where I could call and did not know how to get in touch with anyone about this. I found a corporate number for BW Customer Service on my reservation copy. I spoke with a "Cody" who was very helpful and courteous. After some searching he found where the local hotel changed my reservation type. It seems this hotel charges a different rate for 2 queen beds one with desk and another with a chair and ottoman instead. I had chosen the lesser rate and they had changed it to the higher rate. Cody then informed me that he would call the hotel while I was standing in the lobby to get the rate straightened out with them that I had reserved. He called the person at the counter and then came back to line stating that I would get the original rate which I had reserved. The young lady then made no apologies and stated that they were just going to credit my stay for the difference in rates in such a tone as if they were just doing this to pacify me.

We liked the unique style of this hotel with rooms opening to the outside. It was nice to have our car so handy for packing and unpacking as well as retrieving extras from the car. The hot breakfast was very good with scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy and the eating area was nice.

We reserved 2 Non-smoking rooms. 1st room of them had no shower curtain, shower holder was broken, had no towels, bathroom had not been cleaned, soap wrapping was still on floor, strong smoke smell. 2nd room - very dusty and strong smoke smell, went to the front desk to ask to be transfer and all they gave us was a spray for the odor. Housekeeping showed up on our checkout day, rooms were not cleaned on any other day, went to tell front desk and all they said was to bring them the used towels to get clean ones. Will NEVER stay there.

Was in Louisville for a volleyball tournament with my wife and two teenagers. I've stayed at Best Westerns before and, while they're not the Ritz, have been good experiences. Booked two rooms late-ish and there was a lot going on in Louisville last weekend, so the rates were pretty expensive for a Best Western, but it was what it was. Arrived Friday evening. First, all rooms face outside a la a Motel 6. The lighting outside was pretty poor which did not make me feel immediately safe. Generally, I'm an optimistic person, and even if things don't seem quite right, 98% of the time I assume it'll be OK, and it is. But this was one of those 2% moments when I immediately started to doubt my stay. Trying to look on the bright side, we went into one of the rooms. Immediately, we were greeted with the stench of marijuana and all four of us looked at each other with "uh-uh." At that point, we went back to the front desk and said our room smelled like pot and frankly we just wanted to find somewhere else to stay. We were told fine but that we owed one night's stay (which totalled ~$370 for both rooms). I said we'll think about it and we all went to get a bite to eat. Our thoughts didn't change, so when we got back to the hotel (now it was ~10:30pm) we left. Of course, the lobby was closed so we had to interact with the front desk via a teller-like window that harkens back to the days of no-tell motels. The clerks were helpful but they had problems getting me a final bill. Finally I got a receipt but was told it'd be the correct amount in the morning, and it was, namely one night for two rooms. As I said above....98% of the time I'm willing to just go with it, it's just a place to sleep, no big deal. But this time.....pot stench, unsafe feeling in parking lot, poor outside lighting, poor quality room....not so much. Very disappointing that we were charged two nights' worth of rooms but at that point we just wanted to get out of there. Even if we were to have stayed, how could they fix the problem of the smell? Seems very unfair we were charged. In an odd twist of fate, we then found rooms at a Best Western Plus....right next door. This property was outstanding. Parking could be better, but otherwise everything else was fantastic. Will be writing a separate review for that property, but if you're going to be in this location, go the Plus and avoid the Green Tree Inn at all costs.

This review is for the Best Western Green Tree Inn, Clarksville, Indiana. This motel is NOT recommended; we opened our room (145) to a very pungent smell on our arrival. Upon inspection, we found that someone had vomited in the wardrobe, yet the room had been cleared for use by housekeeping. When I returned to the front desk, I found a sign that let me know the attendant had left and would return. After waiting a few minutes in the empty lobby, the attendant gave me a quick apology and switched our room which was 'cleaner', but only by default. While there was no vomit in this room (154), the room had a VERY musty smell. The smell appeared to come from the bathroom/vanity area. The sink's overflow drain was noticeably dirty and possibly moldy. The sink also did not drain properly, quickly filling with dirty water as you washed up. There was also a very LOUD heating/cooling unit that rattled anytime it was on. So any attempts at pulling in fresh air with the fan made it difficult to sleep. When speaking with the front desk attendant upon our departure, we were told they couldn't do anything for us because we booked our room online. My family was also told we couldn't grab anything from the breakfast area as we were parked in the temporary parking (as we were there temporarily). Do NOT stay at this motel, better options are available at better price points in the area.

The lobby and rooms were clean, but the rooms were clearly smoked in previously, seemingly heavily. We enjoyed the breakfast and the staff was friendly. There is a great mexican restaurant next door too, which is very convenient after a long day at conferences.

The room was dirty & dusty on floors & furniture. Cobwebs on the inside & tops of the lamp shades. The mini fridge was sticky and dirty. The ceiling was coming down in the bathroom. Part of the wall by the bed was peeling off. There was urine around the base of the toilet. The bed was old and there were springs poking up, I checked the tag on the bed and it was from 2003! The Shower curtain was shredded on the bottom of it. The bed was half made when we checked in, No one ever came to clean, take out garbage, change towels, put in toilet paper, coffee etc. Staff was not friendly. I would say good morning etc to employees I would see and they would just stare at me.We tried to find another place to stay but with everything going on that week places were booked! This stay was the longest 6 days of my life

First time at this hotel, just an overnight stay while traveling. Lobby was nice, breakfast minimal, rooms tiny for the price but clean enough. Lots of restaurants nearby for a quick dinner. Not everyone loves the motel-style layout but it is nice for easy access to your vehicle while loading and unloading and walking the dog.

We stayed there for a night on our trip home from Florida. The room was clean and spacious. The staff did a good job, checking in was quick. Breakfast was good, full breakfast served. Check out was quick also. Easy access to highway.

Very nice rooms. Great location. It's close to everything from pawn shops to restraunts to mall and even theaters. Just wish the pricing was lower. Then I would practically live there lol. The breakfast is good.

The room was clean, everything worked such as the heater/AC unit, nice lighting, nice to have a table with two chairs to share a meal, talk about stuff over a laptop, updated refrigerator. The common area for a nice breakfast was clean and someone was there to assist. Overall one of the better BW's we have stayed.

We had a great stay. The room was clean. The bed and pillows we're comfortable. The shower head was perfect. Everything was clean. Thanks for allowing dogs! The heat/fan was steady and not too noisy. All staff were very friendly! We would stay again in a heartbeat!

The last stay I had the bathroom was not very clean. There was mold in the shower grout behind the shower curtain, the sink area had, what appeared to be, pubic hairs in the coffee serving tray and the coffeemaker was filthy. I had to clean it before I could drink a cup of coffee. However the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in at the Best Western

Great location. Love that you get into the rooms from the outside. The staff is the best!!! We stay here when we come into town to visit family. Good sized mini fridge that works well and a microwave.

This hotel is not up to BW standards. If,you want a quick stay and don't care what the room looks like this might do. The quality of the work the last time they remodeled leaves a lot to be desired. Cracks and bubbling in the popcorn ceiling. Unfinished tile in the bathroom. A shower head that is not centered in the tub so you need to stand to one side to get the full shower. Circuit breakers that are uncovered in the bathroom, not sure how that got by an inspection. Wavy floor. Small room's especially with a king sized bed. It may say pet friendly but VERY limited green space that you have to search for for walking a dog. The bathroom sink area has a motion sensor light so if get up during the night, the light comes on and shines on the person sleeping. Only one side of the bed has accessible outlets. I could go on but I hope you get the message. Breakfast was good with a good selection. Beds and pillows were firm if that your preference. Checkin was easy and employees were friendly. I would not recommend this to friends.

Staff is terrible. Parking is terrible. Rooms are below average to average. Rv, truck, and trailer parking is off property, along the interstate, not lighted, and no security. You can not park in the lighted lot, even if it's empty, which it was. There were old beat up trucks and construction equiptment between the front and back building. They looked abandoned. Maybe there was work going on there, but not by professionals from the looks of it. If you have an rv, truck or trailer that you value, and want underlights in an onsight lot at night, steer clear.

This motel is close to highway exit. It's better to request a room away from it if you are sensitive to noise. Room was clean and up to date. Unlike most motels during pandemic, this motel offers full hot breakfast. Wifi speed was fast and stable. The only problem was the bathtub drain was slow. This might be an isolated incident.

Room was clean, nothing special. Bed comfortable. Personnel and unsecure lobby were mainly the problem. No personnel were around when I tried to check in. Waited quite a while for someone to show. Men's room in lobby was locked so drunk or high male entered lobby and went to the unlocked women's room in the lobby. He left undetected by hotel personnel as I stood in the lobby waiting for any employee to show up. Did not feel safe at this location.

This was a fantastic looking hotel from the outside. All rooms are on the first floor, and it had lots of painted siding (not vinyl) and large walkways that were more like porches but you still had a small step up. The charm of the hotel was lost when I entered the small room. The good news, it had a large counter with a sink, a microwave and mini-fridge and the air condition worked good and was quiet. The internet was OK, nothing special. But the bathroom had problems with the ceramic tile floor that was coming up and the tiles were dirty since they used a Swiffer and didn't actually wash them (I could tell because the floor was sticky). So the first thing I had to do was wash the tile with a towel that quickly turned black. When I took a shower, the shower curtain was too short and the shampoo had dried up in the bottle. On my second day, I returned to find no housekeeping and my keys didn't work. So I had to go to the front desk, where they reprogrammed them without asking for an ID. Nearby restaurants were understaffed so the service was terrible, but the hotel did serve a nice breakfast. Note that if you go to Louisville from here, the I-65 bridge has variable tolls that cost between $2 and $13. There is a free bridge that dumps you into downtown and stoplight central. Access to nearby roads is a little difficult, but the southbound I-65 exit 4 dumps you right into the hotel. I would not stay here again. I paid $69.29 + $9.01 tax (13%) for room 205 which is the farthest from the office.

The first room I was put in smelled disgusting, like dirty laundry and smelly feet. They put me into another room which was much better, but it had its issues as well. The second room smelled, but not as bad. I went to the Dollar store and bought a bunch of air fresheners and that solved the problem. The room also appeared to have been broken into at some point and the door frame was not repaired well. The door had a large gap around it because it wouldn't close tight. The ceiling also had a lot of cracks and the paint was coming off. The smoke detector battery compartment was also opened so I assume it didn't work because the light never blinked.

Room reeked of cigarette smoke. The bathroom light had one bulb out of four. No shampoo, no SHOWER CURTAIN, electricity tripped out all night, hair dryer didn't work. We were not allowed to park our PICK UP truck in the parking lot, we had to leave our truck 3/4 mile away overnight. Several hairs were found in our bed. We woke up with multiple bug bites. Avoid this hotel!

I stayed for two nites and when room was not made up inquired and was TOLD WE SAID WHEN YOU CHECKED.INI was not told or maybe didn.t hear but I would not call if had been told...Front desk was very RUDE

Not from the area, around where I live $100 at least gets you a decent hotel room. Got to the room and the stench was awful. Than humidity in the room was actually god awful, felt like I was sleeping in a pool. The room itself was disgusting enough to where, I didnt even want to put my head on pillow and slept on my hands. The night person on duty was rude, the check out lady had no customer service skills whatsoever. I just wanted to get out of their as soon as possible. Thank god only for a night. The rooms they show are not the rooms you get!!!!

We stayed here about a month ago and had a decent stay - nothing fancy, but you get what you pay for. Last night was a different experience though. We checked in to the hotel late afternoon. Once we'd unpacked, we relaxed and turned on the TV to watch the end of a golf tournament. Someone had turned the closed captioning on, obliterating the middle of the screen. OK, no problem - I'll just turn it off. The remote had no effect, nor did the buttons on the TV. After fiddling with it a bit, I called the front desk. They moved us to a different room - so far, so good. Early this morning, we started getting ready to continue our travels only to discover that the shower curtain had been removed and not replaced. I called the front desk again, to be told that no one was there to bring us a shower curtain until 9:00 when housekeeping showed up. We went ahead and showered without a curtain, trying to keep the bathroom as dry as possible and failing miserably. When I checked out, I expressed my displeasure with their unwillingness to assist, indicated that I had a couple of additional reservations for later in August, and said that whether I kept them or not would be dependent upon what kind of compensation they offered. The response was that they'd have to check with the manager who wouldn't be in until later in the morning. It's now late in the day with no contact from the manager and I've just cancelled both reservations and booked elsewhere. I'd suggest you do the same.

We decided to take a trip to Kentucky kingdom for 2 days. We were exhausted but couldn't sleep to the fact the bed was very comfortable. Front desk ladies were nice all expect the night shift girl. We called for a wake up at about 10pm for 7 and never received it. We might give it another try.

Room was clean but there were no wash rags at all in the room and also no extra toilet paper. The front desk clerk was a little stressed and acted like she was there by herself so I didn't report the issues. I'm sure she would have helped out if she could. Just some other observances were the lobby area where you check in was a little disorganized. There was a cleaning cart in there just kindof sitting in the way. Also, the lot across the driveway was all grown up with grass and such and had some old vehicles and trailers sitting there. Not too appealing. But the room/location/beds were perfectly fine and there was a larger hotel in the same parking lot so we felt safe. Walked to the Iguana's Mexican Food place in the same parking lot and the food there was AMAZING! Highly recommend that!

The front desk wasn't exactly pleasant. We also discovered there was no pool (Apparently best western plus owns it and we cannot use it even though we are staying 50' away at a lowly best western?) After that I decided to not even bother asking if there was a fitness room..

The front desk was not very helpful and had full on attitude. We were promised pool usage at the time of booking and didn't receive a sorry or discount. Pay an extra $20/night and stay somewhere with customer service/pool.

This hotel and the staff are absolutely the greatest… they go above and beyond their job and make sure your stay is the best I would highly recommend this hotel and their staff best hotel I've ever stayed in and will continue to only stay at this one when in town

This is a great alternative to the "big-box" motels all around in Clarksville and Louisville - it has everything the lobby/corridor places do, but less expensive and with the freedom to park by your room. We felt lucky to find it and are impressed with the over all cleanliness, friendliness and all standard amenities. Thanks!

Hotel is next to so many things in Clarksville. If you want food, shopping, or a quick jump onto I65/I265 it is right there. For the price of one night the hotel was great! The beds and pillows were VERY comfortable. Shower pressure and temperature were great. Checking in and out was super easy. We did get a room were the A/C unit sounded like a jack hammer. We came in late and we were tired so we turned off the unit and slept in the heat. Once checking out and I told the front desk about it they apologized and they were so sorry for the inconvenience. They told me they would issue a refund to my card for the issue. I was thinking maybe like $10-$15 as that is typical for a hotel. They went well above and beyond that and I truly appreciate that. The front desk lady was very nice to me when I told her about the problem and respected the issue. I will be staying at a Best Western again. Besides the A/C issue the service and the rooms are great!

Our experience reserving the room went okay. We did get disconnected 3 times, before being able yo book it. Unfortunately, we got to our room, settled in, and pulled back the comforter to find a bed big crawling around. We packed our things and left immediately.

Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and Sharon did a great job of helping guests. Sharon gave us a great local tip for a place to visit. Hailey (Front Desk) was also very helpful with her local knowledge. We got to meet the hotel superstar (12 Sugars). She is very entertaining and might even sing for you.

Its a cute quiet little place with a staff that goes above and beyond. They staff is WONDERFUL. Price is a good value too. Very very happy to have found this place. If I have to come back to this area, I'd stay here again. I can't say enough good things about the front desk people. They were so friendly.

Nice hotel and staff and hotel had clean and very nice rooms and restaurants were very close to the hotel and the staff were great during checking in and checking out of the hotel and it was very close to the interstate

The front desk staff were terribly rude and kept telling us to come back because our room wasn't ready. There were like four cars in the parking lot! We finally had to call corporate before they would give us a room. Also, no one was wearing a mask even though there is a sign on the door saying masks are required.

Clean room and very comfortable beds. I like the easy access to the outdoors. However the air conditioner smelled horrible. They need to change the filters. We couldn't use through the night and had to air out the room before going to sleep. Fortunately the weather wasn't too hot or cold. The room was also very small for 4 people and a dog.

All of the staff were friendly on every encounter. The room was clean to perfection, and everything was clean and beautiful. Every room was full and yet there was no noise from any direction. We enjoyed everything about it and the price was great!

We were on vacation for Spring Break and visiting Louisville Mega Caverns and Louisville Sluggers Museum. The breakfast was available Pre-Covid style!! Excellent selection of bread, hot foods, and Waffles!! Thank you, Angela and staff for a wonderful stay!

Super friendly staff and extremely clean, this is one of my favorite Best Westerns. I was even more happy to see they've updated their bed coverings to all white (bleach friendly) and it smelled very clean when we walked in.

I arrived without a reservation and asked for the rate. She quoted me a rate that was higher than any rate published on their website. I said I was going to call and make the reservation that way and she said not to call, she wouldn't accept a reservation after midnight for the prior night and I had to book it through her. I asked for a AAA rate. She wanted the card and I showed it to her on my phone. She wouldn't accept that. Said she needed a physical card. If I did it online, all they need is the number. So I paid the rate higher than a published rate. I asked fpr a King and she told me they were sold out! I think there were 5 cars in the entire parking lot. Trust me, in the middle of the week during the pandemic, they were not sold out. I have no idea why she was so terrible toward me because I was polite and not demanding. Coke machine was almost all sold out I think there was diet Coke left. It only took quarters. Otherwise it was fine. But I won't come back here and suggest you don't either.

We stayed here on our way to Florida. This is a nothing special hotel, but it is quiet, clean, convenient and a fair price. The room is small but clean and updated. Access to the room is from the outside which is perfect during this pandemic!

The room was cramped, one table with one chair crammed next to the air conditioner, TV had issues (which staff knew about previously in another room) but was informed no maintenance man was on duty to do anything about it. Poor lady serving breakfast definitely needed someone else to help her out so by the time coffee and food was packaged, it was cold by the time I got it all.

We stayed with family in 4 different rooms. The rooms were fine for us to stay in. The king room had a slight smoky smell to it as if someone had smoked in it prior. The key cards didn't work all of the time on two of the rooms. The staff was accommodating to our large family in providing breakfast to us all. The pillows could have been softer. The room(s) otherwise was as expected.

Wonderful property. Clean comfortable rooms. serving a hot breakfast with a pretty good selection. The staff here are incredible people. Very professional and helpful. I would highly recommend and will stay again.

Stayed here on a road trip on the way out and the way back. Location was very convenient to the highway, food and Starbucks. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable, and room included a small fridge. Dog charge was only $18 and there was a big field nearby for walks. Appreciated a motel in the time of Covid. Parking lot was well lit and felt safe.

I had stayed here twice in the past and enjoyed my stay. Not true this time and I won't stay here again. Very disappointing! I've never had sheets with hair and little piles of debris on them in a hotel before!

Motel style building: enter room from outside and park car in front of your room. Room was clean and well lit. Bed was comfortable (and high). Pillows were good. Refrigerator was larger than regular mini fridge, and it had a freezer shelf that actually froze our water bottles. Bathroom (tub and toilet) was very tight. Shower was good, towels were good. Staff greeted us in the morning.

Terrible customer service. We traveled here for a family getaway early in June and it was bad enough to warrant a review. There was a loud construction taking place next door. The room was dirty. We arrived late so didn't ask for a room change since the construction started to take place early in the morning. We asked for them to clean the room multiple times with front desk and by leaving the card by the door and they only came to clean once. We stayed there 6 days. They were short on clean towels and not even toilet paper was left for us to use. When I called the front desk the manager hang up the phone and when I went there personally she said she was to busy to see me. We were shocked by the lack of professionalism and bad attitude towards an important matter such as hygiene and safety. Even more due to Coronavirus. Customers should be treated with respect.

Very nice and convenient place to stay when traveling. Easy to find. Staff was very nice and helpful. Even though the morning breakfast was closed they still provided a sack breakfast. Nice to be able to pull our vehicle up to the front door. We will definitely book this location again as we travel to and from South Carolina.

Motel type setting with individual rooms entered form outside. This makes access to our vehicle convenient. Breakfast was very good, but typical for type of hotel. Room had a slight odor, probably;y from people smoking in room even though it is not allowed.

We went to farm show, the best western was an excellent place to stay, very nice people, clean rooms, and great breakfast. It was easy to get there was a great experience. All employees were friendly and very helpful. Will stay there again.

The light in the room was motion censored and kept coming on all night. So I just left it on. I asked for express check out and never received my email. Also had trouble getting on their WiFi on my laptop.

This is a rather old facility that was recently updated and is a fantastic value for the price paid. The staff is extremely helpful and efficient. The breakfast offerings were better than average for a hotel in the BW class. The ladies who worked the breakfast area were terrific and never let anything get low on the buffet. Good selection of hot and cold items. Great juices and coffee as well. I cannot say enough good things about this location...and they are not paying me to say what I am saying..

As night workers and day sleepers we were disturbed from our sleep multiple times. Gentleman smoked outside of our room and smoke came thru vents into our room waking us up. Next day maid ignored do not disturb sign and banged on door and entered & woke us at 11:30AM, then four hours later pressure washing outside our room woke us again. When called office about maid, we were told we were scheduled to check out, but our check out was the NEXT day.

Early Xmas visit...Hotel is convenient .. Plenty of restaurants, shopping,and handy to interstate 65.and yet very quiet at night..Every stay has been easy check in and check out.Rooms are clean,coffee hot..people are friendly..

This started out very well. Check in was a breeze. The room looked very nice. But the next morning at about eight in the morning someone came banging on the door. It turns out they were doing construction on the parking lot and the clerk who checked us in didn't know that. So the man banging on the door insisted we move our car. We went to the front desk and they said they would give us another room. That next room smelled a lot like cigarette smoke. So we said will just go back to the first room. But the next hours or so the construction noise was deafening. They did take some off of our bill. But still they should've known this. Breakfast was good. Location was good. Room was clean. But the construction ruined it for us!

Stayed at this hotel before but always had a room in the back. This time we were assigned a room at the front of the hotel and was pleasantly surprised. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Heard no road noise. Beds were very comfortable and room was larger than most. Prices very reasonable. Staff very friendly. Parking at your door. Numerous restaurants and shopping within walking distance or nearby. Breakfast was close by in a large room with plenty of seating. Breakfast was hot and larger selection than most motels. Will Stay here again when in the area.

The room was clean and comfortable. Quiet atmosphere. A nice walk to get to breakfast in the morning. WiFi was in good working order and TV reception was good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast offering was satisfactory.

I've stayed at this location numerous times over the past five years. It is excellently located in terms of attending any functions in Louisville or southern Indiana. Nice comfortable and clean room with many amenities, good value for the price in comparison to many other motels.

Many weekly residents. Many were outside their doors smoking as we pulled up to our room. Place was very quiet and clean. Easy to load/unload from the car to the room. Breakfast was good with both hot and cold options.

I stayed recently at their hotel because of a recent conference which took most of the hotel rooms in a 40 mile circumference around Louisville KY. I had their suite and it was spacious but the furniture were worn. There was no elevator, however it was only 1 flight of stairs to the suite which was not too bad, but if I had heavy luggage that would have been a problem. When I first walked in the room there was a smell which smelled like a bug spray. I walked into the bedroom and the sheets were sprayed with a chemical which smelled like the odor that I smelled when I walked in. I was surprised that someone sprayed the sheets with a foul smelling chemical. I hope that it wasn't for bed bugs or something like that. I would like to understand why they did this. Also the alarm clock was broken and woke me up at 4 am, which was not pleasant.

We enjoyed our stay the room was clean and comfortable. It is right off the interstate and only a few minutes from the Falls of the Ohio State Park and other attractions. There are many restaurants very close. Bass Pro Shop which we were told was the 3rd largest in the nation was just a stones throw away. If there was a down side, I would say that our room was a little on the small side but adequate. Breakfast was good. The morning we ate there they had scrambled eggs, sausage, fruits and cereals and yogurt. The coffee was even better than I expected it to be. Would definitely stay here again.

This "hotel" is really an refurbished motel, with entrance to all rooms outside, which means you hear vehicles pulling in and out at all hours. Poorly lit parking lot, and if you are in the back, as we were, long walk to lobby, where the tiny breakfast room is located. The parking lot is poorly lit, and on our final morning there, one of the sidewalks was strewn with garbage that nobody had bothered to pick up. The breakfast room is far too small for the number of guests; it's very busy, doubtless because of the price. You have to wait for a chair to open up at a shared table (people are good about sharing their table and not lingering, in recognition of the space problem. But there's more: we stayed there THREE DAYS and NEVER got housekeeping service, even though we reported it. Once we were told we could come to the front desk to pick up clean towels; next, that we would need to report this the next day to the day manager, who came in "around 10 or 11." Other issues included: room was not ready at announced check-in time (told it would be a few more hours), TV remote did not work (we did not report it, out of sheer frustration), so just watched NBC. I travel a lot, all over the world, and have always been impressed with the consistency of Best Westerns--until now. Just awful.

This is an old time motel--park outside the door. No interior hallways. Reserved and paid for a king bed. Upon arrival, was told hotel was "overbooked" and only 2 queens were available. Television did not work. Toilet plugged up upon entry to room. Hotel next door is fenced off and under construction. View outside room was of gravel parking lot with semi trucks and the interstate. Lobby dirty. Not sure what rooms all the other customers were staying in who said their rooms were spotless. Check in and check out was a nightmare. Clerks were beyond slow.

The room needs update as the carpet was torn and there was a musty smell upon entering. We kept the door open to get some fresh air. The breakfast is a standard BW hotel breakfast. There are a number of resturants within walking distance. Note: the I65 bridge is toll.

Terrible experience. Booked with 800 number and when we arrived (20-30 minutes later) there was no room available. I was left standing outside at 3am- exhausted and frustrated. I don't wish this on anyone.

Clean and spotless room. Good location. Breakfast was hot and good. Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal. Stayed here three nights and price was reasonable. Just off Hwy. Would stay here again.

Well I stayed at this hotel for 6 different months, they were great and very accommodating, now it is under new management and not so much anymore! Had a rate locked in and they changed it with no response to me. Rooms have broken equipment in them and smell musty. I will not patron their property ever again!

We had a horrible experience at this hotel. It was dirty and we would have stayed elsewhere but everything was full. The lights went out both nights in the bathroom when wife showering leaving bathroom pitch black! Room was not serviced after first night. 2 hairs and dead fly on bed and room smelled light smoke upon arrival. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

Could not get much sleep heard sirens all night long. Don't know if we were close to a hospital or if it was coming from freeway. Easy to find. All rooms are on the bottom floor. Clean rooms, nice beds. Just not much sleep.

I stay in the area nearly every weekend. I have tried several local hotels but always prefer Best Western Green Tree Inn. The rooms aren't fancy but they're clean and have everything you need; comfy bed, lots of channels, wifi, outlet to charge devices right by the bed. I really like being able to park right outside my room; the parking lot is well lit. Breakfast is hot and good. Check-in and out is always quick. The lobby is clean but not really a place you would hang out like some hotels. All of the employees (front desk/ housekeeping) are really nice, several went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Ths location is good- you are near anything you could want: tons of restaurants and buffet, a mall, shopping, grocery & Mexican grocery, gas stations, movies, a Chuck E. Cheese, etc.

Routinely excellent in regard to room access, breakfast facilities, friendliness, and general ambiance! We routinely stay here during prolonged visits to parents (would add; relatively affordable/competitive pricing).

My mother-in-law and I stayed here in August and it was our favorite hotel either of us have ever stayed in! It was spotless, everyone on staff was super helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was top notch!!! I would highly recommend Best Western Green Tea Inn!!!

One night stay - grateful room was clean and rates reasonable. Rooms are fairly small but adequate. Nice touch is small table and 2 chairs so you can actually sit and eat or play cards etc. folks next door to us took table/chairs outside their room to play cards. Just a nice touch vs being stuck in room. We had take-out food and table was perfect to sit and enjoy it. Breakfast area clean and nice. Food selection good - better than many we've experienced. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby if needed. Super easy access to I65.

Stayed here for just 1 night my stay was perfect the hotel is just of the interstate check in was quick and easy was a little surprised at how many rooms they have 101 according to the website. Parking in front of your room very good wifi the room itself is the standard best western always great to have a large fridge, you have a microwave tv etc bed was king size slept very well the bathroom modern but tight all in all a great stay as usual. Breakfast standard from best western cereal hot food waffles tea coffee juice bagels. The highlight of this stay was actually having the pleasure of speaking to the young lady who does the breakfast and cleans up after everyone and who sings unfortunately didn't get the young lauds name but just talking with her made my breakfast and started my morning as a wow. In the area lots of restaurants and would I go back most definitely.

This was a one night stop on the way to Nashville, and for that, it fits the bill perfectly. You can park your car directly in front of your room as this place is 'motel style'. It's great for unloading luggage and reloading upon check-out. No elevators!! The rooms are not fancy but they are clean and functional with a fridge and microwave. Our King Bed was a bit soft for my liking, however, it wasn't uncomfortable. The hot breakfast is included and offers hot oatmeal, cold cereals, yogurt, waffles, sausage, egg omelettes, assorted bread, juice and coffee. Note, however, breakfast shuts down at 9:30 am sharp! The location is great, right off the interstate, and is only a few miles from Louisville, Kentucky. For a no-nonsense room, I would recommend staying the night here.

Spent one night while traveling. Had to check in late and we were greeted with friendly front desk helpers. Parking lot was well lit and we felt very safe arriving so late. Great location, easy on/off the highway. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.

After a couple stays I had a few issues I brought it to the managements attention and they were very kind and helpful to be sure my next stay was better. This last time was great room was nice and comfortable clean and I had no issues!

We needed a place to stay overnight on our return trip from a family wedding. The room was clean, functional, but small. It also was difficult finding the hotel as it is off a service road behind a mall and took us a while to figure out how to access it. Other than that, the hotel was good, the price was very fair and the hotel personnel were helpful and courteous.

They charge a $100 incidental fee, that even after 5 days is still pending on my account. The girl that checked us in, messed everything up and charged taxes to us even though we were using a free night with points. Breakfast was terrible, the biscuits were rubbery and the gravy was awful. Tried calling the front desk and no one would pick up, walked up to the front desk and the girl was on her cell phone and held up her fingers for me to give her a minute before I asked my question. Very disaapointed in my stay, room was ok, breakfast awful, customer service was not good either. I have reached out to hotel about trying to get the incidental charge that is still pending removed with if you have your bank call after 12 I may can help them with it then, but I can not do anything right now, We were traveling through for business and was going to stay on our way back, but after the our experience on the way up, decided against it. That would be another $100 of incidentals charged that may or may not be removed. Very disappointed in the whole experience.

I was impressed with how fast checking in and checking out was. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Did not wake up on and off during the night. Slept great. Location was great, has restuarants and shopping centers nearby. They offered breakfast which had a variety of foods. Gravy and biscuits were hot and very good. Would definitely stay there again

This was the worst stay I have ever had at a hotel. I told them that I had had back surgery a few weeks ago and sleep was extremely important to me. They really need to fix the doors so they don't slam. I had to listen to people's doors slam until the wee hours of the morning. The bed was too hard and I like a firm mattress. The kind of sleep that when you wake up from sleeping on your side you arm aches. I was told that the hotel was a single level building. There was, in fact, a room above me. The owner's son lives there. I heard walking and all sorts of noises above me for most of the night. Loud people in the parking lot until around 3 a.m. I called the front desk 3 different times to report the noise. He did nothing to help. He didn't even come down to where I was staying to investigate. The last phone call to the front desk was made at 4:48 a.m. Finally, around 5 a.m., the noises stopped. The following morning the new owner/manager seemed to care. He told me that it couldn't have been the manager's son as they still have a vested interest in the hotel. He said if a door was left open upstairs derelicts could have gotten in and made the noise. What?!! Then when I checked out he gave me half of the cost of the room back. He should have comped the entire visit. Disgusted. I do feel like he tried and he inherited some issues being the new owner of this hotel. I hope he reads this and makes some much-needed changes to the hotel to make it quieter. I mean, after all, the reason people stay in hotels is to sleep for the night. If you can't sleep then what's the point? The only positive was housekeeping does an excellent job. Friendly and kind.

Clean room, people working there were super sweet, breakfast was as expected, I liked that it's only one story so we could just park our vehicle and walk in without have to drag luggage up a bunch of stairs or through long halls!

Pros: Clean guest room, comfortable bed, outstanding breakfast in lobby Cons: Surrounding area is busy, tolls to Louisville add up quickly, early check-in requires some effort (supposedly) This court-style hotel (meaning you park outside your room because there are no inner hallways) is basic but solid. My king bed guest room was a bit small but featured a decent-sized fridge and microwave (the former is something quickly disappearing from hotels and being replaced by uselessly-small ones). I got a great night's sleep on my king bed. The biggest surprise was the breakfast in the lobby- waffles, sausage patties, and real cheese omelettes made it compelling to save money by eating in before checking out. This Best Western has one of the best free hotel breakfasts I've encountered in a long time. Complaints are few. The surrounding area is choked with a lot of traffic (and is not very attractive). If you're staying here while in Louisville, know that the tolls on the interstate add up quickly, unless you take an alternate route that will end up requiring more time. My attempts at a slightly early check-in were rebuffed, despite the manager later telling me early check-ins are usually not a problem, so I suppose the issue has to be pushed if that's what you need. I usually have good experiences at Best Westerns, and this was no different. Recommended.

Great stay at Green Tree. Room was comfortable and very clean. Bed was also comfortable. Employees at desk were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and well maintained. Grounds well kept, plenty of parking, and many restaurants in the area.

Easy to get to clean and met all my needs! I arrived late and my room was ready and all information was in my file. Breakfast was excellent and had options to have a large or small meal. I changed rooms in the middle of the stay and the staff made it easy.

Super CLEAN, updated room! Issue with the TV was addressed immediately. Wonderful complimentary breakfast, with great staff ! Best part......COMFY BEDS!! Worst part......no hot tub/spa. We will definitely be back on our travels! Easy on and off location too!

Great place to stay. Very welcoming staff. Quick check-in. The room was very clean and tidy. The hotel was located by restaurants and shopping. Close to expressways for easy travel. They had a workout room that looked nice. Breakfast offerings were ample and very good.

Nothing awful about this hotel but it was old and tired. Thin towels, small room with a table stuffed in front of the AC making access to the bed on that side difficult. Bed ok. Shower good and strong. No replacement of shampoo etc when room was cleaned. Would have been perfectly content with it had it been about $20 a night less.

Very nice and friendly! No problem with our dog, used BringFido.com to book and Michael at the front desk even mentioned it when we arrived. He was very friendly and nice! It was very easy to get to from the interstate and it was clean and very comfortable for our night!

Very clean motel room. Nice size and clean. Ck in and ck out very nice friendly people. Continental breakfast really good. Eggs, sausage, biscuits gravey, waffles, oatmeal, muffins, different flavors teas, juices.

We have stayed at the Clarksville IN Greentree Best Western on 5 different occasions in the past year and it provides great value to the hotel/motel. The rooms are comfortable and only one visit did we have an issue that was resolved very quickly by the staff. They have a nice complimentary breakfast and the WiFi works very well.

This was one of the most pleasant hotel stays i have had in a long time. The room was super clean despite being a pet-friendly hotel (my dogs did not do that 'a dog peed here recently' nose-sniff), check-in, breakfast and cleaning staff were incredibly pleasant, accommodating and on the ball. Can't say enough good things about this hotel. location was great - right off the highway, food within walking distance or a short drive.

Nice clean hotel with updated rooms. Bed is comfortable There is plenty of parking. Hotel is next to Golden Corral restaurant and other restaurants nearby. There is a Kroger grocery and CVS pharmacy a short distance from hotel.

We enjoy staying at the BW Greentree Inn when we are in the area. The staff is always welcoming and helpful and the rooms are very clean and nicely appointed. And the beds are ultra comfortable. Nice selection of restaurants and right off the interstate. Louisville is right across the river - a 10 minute or less drive.

Directions weren't very clear on how to get to this location and there were no directional signs on the roadways. Very nice lady at the front desk except there was some confusion as to our length of stay but we got it all straightened out. Breakfast was adequate with hot and cold items. Shower was fine, towels were fresh. We had a microwave and frig in the room.

Once again, the Best Western Green Tree Inn has proven to be a perfect place to relax during my groups annual visit to Louisville, Ky. Easily accessible to the Interstate with a great selection of local places to eat are just some of the added pluses to staying. Rooms are all on ground level and are easily accessible. My groups rooms were clean and well maintained upon arrival and during our four night stay. A hot breakfast was served on a daily basis as part of the room perks, served by really great staff who take pride in their work. Staff wherever encountered were pleasant from front desk, to housekeeping, and food service. The Best Western Green Tree Inn, is a jewel of a place to lodge when visiting the Louisville area.

The staff was very friendly and check in/out was very smooth and painless. Fresh hot breakfast even towards the end of the breakfast time! We stayed in a double queen room and the beds were clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

I recently stayed at the Best Western In Clarksville, Indiana let me just say that this hotel is one that completely exceeding my expectations. At first glance I thought WOW...I have not seen such a unique architectural design since the 60's. It really makes the place, but don't take my word for it check it for yourself and you'll experience the same as i did. The staff is by far the most professional staff i have seen in a long time you wouldn't think that with it being a best western you would get 5 Star Hospitality, however to this team there is nothing but TRUE HOSPITALITY! Its the first hotel that I have been at in years where when you really need something no matter big or small they treat you as though you are A multi billionaire guest staying with them for life.. I was truly blown away that they not only bent over backwards to ensure that I was accommodated despite an error I had booking thru third party, however the part that blew me away was that they did this to EVERY SINGLE GUEST THAT WALKED THRU THAT HOTEL ENTRANCE DOOR... I mean come on..... there is always that one staff member or multipile staff members that are nice to the guest that have money but would not be so courteous to maybe someone that was homeless... OH NO....! I cant elaborate on this enough when I tell you hands down THIS HOTEL KNOWS WHAT REAL HOSPITALITY IS ALL ABOUT...! I would not only recommend this hotel I will never stay at another hotel unless it is a best western ... AMAZING< REFRESHING< SOO RELAXING..You must stay at the the Best Western in Clarksville Indiana.

Very friendly staff, well informed and helpful. Rooms were very clean, well stocked. and the beds are super comfy. Internet was reliable and had no issues. Breakfast was well stocked, fresh, and had plenty of options. We will definitely be staying here when we come back!

Was in the Louisville area and decided to give this place a try. Though an older property I found it to be far better than many of the "upscale" places I stay. Clean, pleasant staff, and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is not far off I-265 in safe area with plenty of shopping and food. Large hotel, had to walk some to get up to lobby. Staff was very helpful with our needs, check in and out was exellent. Breakfast area was well kept!!!!

We were just passing through for the night so our stay was very brief. We were surprised to find this gem by chance. The motel is very modern looking and the cleanliness surpassed my expectations. A wonderful hot breakfast is included. What made the stay even better was the friendliness of the staff and how they truly made you feel welcome and part of their day.

I am writing this for my friend, Daniel Williams, who stayed there recently while his house was being renovated. He was very pleased with the cleanliness of the room and how comfortable it was. He mentioned daily how good the breakfast was, and was very happy with the variety. He had his dog with him. The staff asked how he was everyday if they didn't see him. Lashan and Amber went out of their way to make them both feel at home. He would definitely stay there again or recommend the hotel

Friendly staff. Great Breakfast, hot foot, biscuits were great.Eggs are great. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Nice size rooms. Water pressure could be little better in shower but was hot. 3rd time staying at this hotel.

I had reserved 3 rooms for a concert weekend. The place looked nice and the rooms seemed clean. However when we returned to our room (s) after the night out our key didn't work. We proceeded to the desk and were given new keys. They also did not work. We tried to call from one of our other rooms but the phones didn't work. So again we went to the desk and were told it would be 15 minutes. So we waited in our friends room. This was at 2AM. 45 minutes later still no one came. We again went to front desk and were told if we didn't like it there we didn't have to stay. I asked for a refund. The refund was refused. I asked for the manager which there wasn't one on duty. While I was at the front desk my friend called me and said the maintenance guy had banged on her door and told her he had fixed MY door. We was rude and stated how it had inconvenienced him to have to come do that. He was also seemingly drunk. We were finally able to get into our room after 3 AM. At 9 AM I had gotten out of the shower and was standing naked at the sink to be jolted by the door being shoved open. The ONLY thing stopping it was the manual clasp I had hooked on the inside. I quickly dressed and answered the door to a different maintenance guy stating he was there to fix the door. I was furious! He never knocked or anything. I told him we were still there that we would be out at 11 and he could fix the door then. Around 10:30 I was sitting on the bed (dressed and ready to leave) while my boyfriend went to the desk to discuss things with the manager. I just happened to feel like I was being watched and looked at the door and the maintenance man was staring at me through the cracked door! I asked if I could help him and he stated he didn't know anyone was in the room and that he had come to fix the lock and clean the room! Really? You could have knocked instead of staring in through the crack! Highly to NOT recommend this place. We were given a 50% discount on the one room although it interrupted all 3 rooms guests at the time!

Stayed in room in out building. 24 degrees outside and no heat in freezing room. Room was clean and upgraded. Heat should have been turned on before we got there. We sat for 3 hours in front of heater with our coats on to get warm. We slept in our clothes because of the cold. We could not shower because the bathroom was freezing cold. Breakfast was at 6am. We arrived at 5:45 to get coffee and the lobby was locked and they made us wait outside in 20 degree weather because they said they were not allowed to unlock lobby until then! Worst hotel stay ever. Night before we stayed in a Best Western Plus hotel and loved it...best hotel stay recently. What a let down and bad experience here.

I procrastinated reserving a hotel for a concert in downtown Louisville. When I finally got around to doing so, the hotels in Louisville had gone up in price, so I ended up with this one. In the end, it ended up being a pretty good deal. First off, it only took about 15 minutes to get into downtown via Exit 1, which takes you across the Hwy 31 bridge. Second, the price, at about $90, versus the roughly $150-$200 that the Louisville hotels wanted was a much better deal. Third, breakfast and parking were free, which was not the case at some of the other places that we looked at. And lastly, the king bed was comfy, everything; the hvac, the plumbing, the TV, everything worked. The room was clean. Nothing to complain about. Like I said, I initially wanted the convenience of being right downtown before/after the show, but, this place worked out great.

Convenient stop on I-65 close to Louisville and within reasonable striking distance of Mammoth Cave (especially given the time zone change to make it an hour earlier if you are going there). Better than average hot breakfast and respectable clean rooms at a decent price. Recommended.

I picked a bargain hotel for the Breeders Cup horse races near Churchill Downs via Expedia. The Green Tree was inexpensive, clean and relatively quiet. No problems except it was not close to any decent restaurants. The room was fine for the price and free breakfast is always a plus.

clean and very courteous staff. rooms were great . great location. indoor pool is a big pluss. restraunt/ lounge connected for after the long stressful days. no problems with internet wifi connection .

Stayed at the Best Western Greentree in Clarksville. We were traveling home and needed a place to stay overnight. It's off of I-65 north of Louisville. It's an older motel, all on one level with the doors opening to the outside. Our room was clean, but did have a bit of a musty odor. Bed was comfortable and the shower, toilet and sink worked fine. Breakfast was available. Our stay was OK, nothing fancy but in-line with what we paid.

Thus Best Western is located near family when we visit. Great friendly staff, good breakfast. We have always found good rates when we visit. We did have a couple of issues on our most recent visit with a door lock and then air conditioner/heater, but they were addressed very quickly.

We came up from Tennessee to visit the Louisville Jack O' Lantern Spectacular and stayed over night at this best western. Great location to downtown. Quiet. The room was clean but had a musky smell. The beds were very comfortable and slept well. The building is old but very cute. We can't say enough though of how friendly and welcoming the staff was. Everyone we passed greeted us with a “good morning” and a smile. The staff make this place. You can over look a mediocre room with how the staff treat you. We have made our visit to the Jack O' Lantern Spectacular an annual event and would definitely stay here again. Thank you so very much Best Western Green Tree Inn staff for making our stay excellent!

I booked this hotel for 4 nights, and I had the best sleep ever!! Very comfortable bed, quiet location, all one floor... looks like an pretty apartment complex, parking right outside your door. Staff very friendly and helpful. The warm breakfast had everything that you could want, waffles, eggs, bagels toast, muffins, cinnamon rolls, juice and good tasting coffee!! Great, clean place, very convenient to 165, and 1265. Close to shopping and restaurants. Easy on and off the highway. I will stay here again, great place.

7 of us came down to the Louisville area for a bachelor party. For good food and bourbon. We booked 2 rooms here and definitely were not disappoint. The place is conveniently located right across the bridge close to everything. About a 10 min Uber ride to down town Louisville. The rooms were clean, comfortable beds, hot shower, A/C worked great, staff was friendly, breakfast was good what more could you ask for. Oh and it was reasonably priced. Definitely recommend to anyone coming to the area. We will staying here again when we come back to the area.

We recently visited Louisville KY. This property is just across the river bridge. Extremely convenient. We walked into our room. The rank smell over come us immediately. The a/c would not put out cool air. We had to cancel our reservation and move on. I am a Platinum Member with BW. We've had dozens of great experiences with this chain. But not this location. Very seedy and sketchy.

When I go to the Louisville area this is the only place I stay. Rather old fashioned because each room is independent. Really quiet place. Very convenient location. Rates for this area are very reasonable.

Room still being worked on and had to wait 10 min. (We were early.) Room 165 clean but no desk and desk chair, but had a free-standing wardrobe closet which we didn't use but would have preferred a desk. Had an easy chair and a hassock which I used for the laptop. There is a Golden Corral next door. Bed & pillows comfortable. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, link sausages, juices, sausage gravy and cereals, waffles and yogurt as well as apples and tangerines. A good breakfast offering. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here one night. I really like the exterior and the style it is in. The colors are cute and the outside seems updated. It kind of threw me off when I saw the rooms each had an exterior entrance. It makes me feel a little bit less safe. But that being said, when we were in our room, it was quiet and we did feel safe. Although the room was clean and comfortable, it was a little outdated. For instance I felt like our toilet handle was going to fall off and the blowdryer did not work. I think they are in the process of doing updates. Be advised the pool is closed until, I believe, April 2019. Overall I would rate it higher because it was a nice comfortable stay for the price.

The hotel was clean and reasonably comfortable and breakfast was good for this price point. The layout is 'old style' with a long building and all (or mostly) outside entry rooms only. We were put in a room that was very far from the ice/vending and the lobby, where the breakfast is served. Our TV was not working. The lights in the bath area were on timers, so it was not possible to leave one on during the night. Night staff not particularly friendly, but morning staff very friendly.

I stayed here for a one night stay while in town and it was a great deal for the inexpensive price you pay. The room was small but had everything you could need, including a fridge and microwave. The room was very clean and the hotel staff was friendly. The breakfast offered was nice with a lot of variety and well stocked. Would definitely recommend for a quick, inexpensive stay!

Great location to interstate, but quiet; clean well appointed rooms, helpful staff. We have stayed here for past 3 years on way south/north every 6 mos. Highly recommend. Also, pet friendly (and still clean!)

The customer service is the worst! We came to visit family and chose this hotel due to its' #1 ranking, though it was further away than the hotel we've stayed at before. We don't know how it achieved the top rating, but our experience was not good when we stayed there and worse after dealing with the manager! Though I didn't write the manager until 4 months after we were there (due to medical troubles and "life"), I had taken meticulous notes while there and used them to compose the letter. My daughter and I had various issues in our 4 night stay and I included most of them in the letter. But, the main problems were with 4 workers who gave consistent poor customer service. They just didn't seem to care. One example is when I called the desk to ask if there were towels at the pool, I was told "I don't know." He wasn't willing to find out either. Another main issue was that after sleeping just four hours our first night, the smoke alarm began beeping and kept me up the rest of the night! When I complained in the morning, they said the maintenance man would take care of it. We were told by him that he took the battery out / disabled it, but will take care of the issue after we leave "since he knows we won't be starting any fires in the room"! Without my husband with us, I felt somewhat intimidated and didn't make a huge deal of it then, though I should have. This man was the only "nice" worker we encountered, even though I feel he didn't handle our smoke alarm issue properly. There was a huge bug in the bathroom one night (either a cockroach or a beetle). I grabbed my phone and took a picture to show the staff in the morning. They didn't even want to see it. Then, my white blouse got ruined due to some dark gunk that came out of the iron when I was ironing it. The breakfast was ok at best. But, the way we were treated by three desk personnel and the lady handling breakfast was so unprofessional. We never had wifi the entire time we were there! I complained several times to the various desk workers, but they were never helpful. When I wrote the letter to the manager, I did it with the thought that if I was the manager, I would want to know if my employees were treating customers as we were treated. To my shock, the manager responded and ignored all the employee customer service issues I listed, told me that "you have to watch the settings on an iron or you will burn your blouse", that the battery had to be replaced or it would have kept beeping, and insulted me with "I am sorry for the experience you had. I will give you 20% off one night when you COME BACK and 500 points." What a joke! You should make your own decision about whether to give this hotel your business, but, we will not return. The things that happened during our stay were bad enough, but the response from the manager was far worse! He took the complaints I had and turned them around on most of the issues. (like suggesting that I burned my blouse, saying that the battery couldn't have been removed and not replaced as it would have continued beeping, and that they didn't have others complaining of wifi issues during this time, like we must not have had trouble if others didn't or didn't report it). I hope this review is helpful to you and that you can find a nice hotel with excellent customer service and a manager who truly cares about your stay!

We stayed 1 night. The outside property is excellently maintained, the staff very friendly & helpful. Lots of options for dinner dining within walking distance. Great hot breakfast included. We would stay here again

It was very clean and the people were very nice. The breakfast was awesome. The beds very comfortable. Really nest how they have shampoo and conditioner hanging in the showers in case you forget to bring yours.

This hotel is more like a throwback motel, but much better. Room was small, but had everything we needed. Clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast. Don't let the proximity to the interstate fool you, we had a quiet room. The price was very reasonable. Great location for restaurants, shopping, downtown and easy access to the interstate.

Clean, comfortable and friendly. Dog friendly, with no problems. Easy access with a great Mexican Restaurant across the road. Senor Iguanas. Don't miss it. We stay here twice a year when traveling South and again back North. Highly recommend.

This is more like a motel...you park your car outside your room. The room was kind of small, but very clean and nicely furnished. The bed and linens were SO comfortable! I had a wonderful night's sleep. The parking lot was full, but it was quiet, at least in my room at the end of the building. This hotel is very convenient...right off the exit from I65, and it so close to downtown Louisville...just a 10 minute drive and much, much cheaper than the hotels there. It is also close to many stores and restaurants. There is a Golden Corral right next door that you could walk to if you wanted. But the hotel offers it's own free hot breakfast. Many choices and an eating area in the lobby. I actually took my plate of food back to my room because it was a little crowded, but that was fine. The shower and toilet area is separate from the sink and vanity area. The bathroom was neat and modern with shower gel/shampoo/conditioner dispensers on the wall. Again, everything was very clean and comfortable.

Wish I could give this one lower than 1 star. Booked a room only to find out they had oversold. They offered no help or apology - just told us to go elsewhere despite confirmed booking. The agent did not care - said he had to disappoint 19 people before us. My wife and I plus our three young children were forced to find another hotel at 11:00 in the evening - shame on their service or lack of it!!!!

I reserved a room with 2 beds. The hotel overbooked so my husband and his friends are staying in a room with 1 bed. These are 3 adult men!! The hotel did discount the rate $50 but this doesn't make up for someone having to sleep on the floor.

I have a family member in the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. I was looking for a hotel that wasn't far away and I was willing to pay a little more to stay in a reputable hotel. I couldn't have asked for a cleaner or more comfortable room than I received. I have NO complaints there. I am upset at the fact I stayed at this hotel for two nights but my credit card was charged for three. I have emailed the hotel with no response; I have called the hotel several times and have been told that I will be contacted by the manager but I haven't been; I had a representative from my credit card company call and she was also told that they would have the manager call her back and that never happened either. I have even gone as far as to contact the Corporate Office of Best Western and gotten, yet again, no response. I made one last effort to call the hotel directly and was asked if I would email a copy of my credit card statement showing the overcharge to my card, which I did, and, once again, have gotten no response. I work in the banking/customer service arena so I am well aware of how I should treat customers that reach out to me for help. NEVER, EVER again Best Western. The room may have been great but the customer service by this hotel and your corporate office is lacking. It's sad that, even with proof that I reserved only two nights and was charged for three, I can't get anyone to help resolve my issue. If this happens to you, good luck getting your money back!!!

Stopped in, truck was being repaired, Daniel at the front desk, guy with long red beard extremely helpful and friendly got us checked in early, gave us a couple incredible restaurant selections rhat were spot on! Room was small, but clean, modern, it had everything we needed, plenty of hot water, heat and a/c worked. We utilized the small laundry room, 1 washer 2 dryers and they were CRAZY cheap...75 cents to wash and a buck to dry.. THAT was amazing, usually hotels jam you for about $3 a side.. this was great. I would definitely stay here again.

If by typing this review I save one person from having the experience I did, then I will be satisfied. Just checked out today, and will never stay here again, and will think long and hard about staying at a Best Western elsewhere. Management was incredibly rude. The microwave in my room didn't work and housekeeping failed to clean my room two of the 5 days. When I went to the front desk asking about these issues they said I had a dog in the room (which I did not), charged me a $75 pet fee and told me that if I continued to be a hassle there were other fees they would pursue charging me or that I would have to find another hotel to stay at. I was offered no alternative to the microwave and no explanination as to why my room was not cleaned. I was simply given a manager who yelled and was horribly condescending. We spend 30+ weekends a year in hotels traveling and never in my life have I encountered such horrible customer service. Never again!

This Best Western had nice clean updated rooms. I would have given it four stars if they had allowed me in the lobby area to get a cup of coffee prior to 6 AM. I am a truck driver and I like to start early sometimes. I stay in hotels four or five nights a week and most of them have 24 hour access to coffee.

This is a review from a visit back in March when I got married. Many of my family were staying at the hotel and my parents were having a tough time getting out of the room because of a three year old they were taking care of. My step-dad informed the front desk staff that they would be a little late, but still someone knocked on their door and rudely told them they needed to leave or they would be charged another night. Well, the hotel did charge an extra night only for some reason they charged it on MY card when they had my step-dad's on file. So I spent many phone calls between my mom and the hotel staff (on my honeymoon btw) trying to get this fixed. Every time they told me it would get fixed I had to call again because nothing was fixed. I believe my parents did end up getting charged a late fee (which they really shouldn't have - not for 30 minutes over especially after telling the front desk) but upon going back through my credit card statements, I realized that I was never fully refunded that amount. Lucky for the owners, I became exceedingly busy following my honey moon and was not able to follow-up and discover it hadnt been resolved in nearly a year later. Basically - they took money that wasn't earned because of poor management of their booking systems. And upon reading other reviews, it seems I am not the only one who had a similar experience that involved improperly charging a guest.

We were forced to wait in the car because a computer malfunction cancelled our prepaid room. It's February, it's cold outside and the lobby is closed! We've been waiting in the car for an hour already!! I'm on a work trip and got here at 130 am. It's 230 am now and we have to get up at 730. Unfortunately we can't just go to another hotel because this one is prepaid. Still waiting..

Very nice hotel. Staff was wonderful and the rooms were clean and comfy. I will definitely stay here again. Lots of shopping and restaurants close by. Most importantly they're pet friendly and that's hard to find with a Best Western

Enjoyed a short stay at this fairly priced and very clean hotel, just off the exit ramp. Was in the Louisville area for a event at the Kentucky Exposition Center, but found better prices just a few minutes over the river. fairly convenient no toll bridges nearby at the advise of friendly staff, for those more frugal visitors (me). Please to find rooms very clean and better than expected hot breakfast (for the price). Will be back if in the area!

What a great hotel! Easy check in, amazing breakfast and clean rooms...we really enjoyed our stay. So many options on the breakfast.. hot, clean and well stocked! Best western has really tightened up with presentation! We will stay again....

There is absolutely no counter at the bathroom sink. Only a sink, with absolutely no where to place your toiletries except the floor. The front desk clerk is very unfriendly, and switched our room from a reserved king to two queens without telling us.

Very Friendly staff. Breakfast was hot and good verity. check in and out very easy. Bed ok.clean floors and bathroom clean. Outside of hotel was clean and well kept. Room had a desk. A lot of room for you stuff

We just stayed here last week. I was pleasantly surprised. the hotel is clean and breakfast was very good. the price is great and the location is perfect for getting around. the highway was a little loud but not enough to be an issue. overall a great place and the staff was excellent.

This is a very nice, clean motel. The breakfast had an excellent variety of hot and cold choices, although my husband was disappointed that there was no Raisin Bran. My only issue was the pet fee which I felt was unusually excessive. Since I stay at motels frequently due to my dog hobby, I try to stay at good motels with either no or a flat fee for pets. This motel had a high per pet/per night fee. Due to that, I won't be staying here in the future.

Nice place, an older hotel that has been redone. No pool, at least not that I saw, but a nice little work out room & terrific breakfast. The room was recently remodeled with a super comfy memory foam mattress. No complaints, great value. If you need to stop over in this area, i recommend it...plus...Golden Corral, Iquanas, Logans and more right next door!

Very please with this hotel. The rooms are a little small but otherwise they are comfortable and clean. They also had a very decent breakfast for this type of hotel. More than just cold cereal and carbs. It's also close to several eating establishments and shopping. Also, super close to Louisville. I would stay at again.

Be very careful - watch your credit card statement. I booked through Expedia, and then discovered that the MOTEL also charged my credit card (provided for incidentals only). The manager of the hotel has assured me they will issue a credit to my credit card. She was apologetic, but I got the distinct feeling this was not the first time this had occurred. Buyer beware.

This is an excellent place to stay! Would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay. Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable beds, good location and easy to find. It was the last night of our trip and we slept very well.

I was over charged, and after pointing this out to staff on the first night, I was again overcharged again! The manager is rude and disrespectful! I reserved a 2 queen bed room but at check in only had king bed available and NO rollaway!!

We love the best western hotels. They are always very accommodating and helpful. We have never had a problem staying at any of the best westerns and they are always reasonable priced. Hands down our favorite chain of hotels.

Stayed one nite following a concert at Yum Arena in Louisville. A reconditioned older motel. Very clean. Very comfortable bed. In front of your door parking. Good breakfast with a lot of variety. A little noisy in the morning when all the garbage trucks start backing up. I would go back.

Stayed here one night on a road trip, and the room was OK for that purpose, and a very good value. Small, dated room, but convenient location, and clean and comfortable. Comes with breakfast and a Wall Street Journal.

Very nice place, very clean. quality people and service. Really good breakfast. Very close to many restaurants and all kinds of shopping. Close to the Falls of the Ohio museum. And the J.B Speed Art Museum.

Have stayed at many Quality Inn's over the years, this place exceeds them all. Looks modern and updated, all first floor access, well appointed room, out the door parking, could not have asked for more. Comfy bed, clean shower and a USA to fill the time. Great stay.

Check-in was quick and easy. The lobby was clean and comfortable, and had the breakfast area right there. Quite convenient for breakfast, and coffee and tea all day. The hotel is on one level with outside facing doors. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom sink was outside of the shower area so I could shave while my wife showered. The bed was probably the best one we have had in any hotel we have stayed Slept like a baby and woke refreshed.

Even though there was a line to check in, the wait wasn't very long. The staff were very friendly. The room was clean and I loved that it was just close enough to Louisville without the high price tag. Would definitely stay here again.

We were quite surprised when our bus tour, Nationwide, selected this hotel for 49 people, many physically handicapped. It was difficult for many of our friends to walk to their rooms. Although the facilities are on 1 level, each of the rooms have outside entries & most doors have large gaps within their frames. We don't see many types of these “strip hotels”. It The employees need better training. On a positive note, the rooms & lobby were clean & attractive. The bathroom was tight & bad lighting.

This hotel has many rooms that are pets friendly and make sure that you are comfortable in them. The staff is friendly and helpful and like to visit with the guests when they have time. This gives you a very homey feeling.

The value for the price stayed at this Best Western was very good. Good friendly and helpful staff. The beds were comfortable with 4 choices on pillows. Clean and well appointed rooms with adequate internet service.

This hotel is very clean. We have stayed here 4 times now and love it every time! There is so much to do around and places to see! There are many many restaurants to choose from right out the door! It takes minutes to cross the bridge and you are in Kentucky! I would recommend this hotel any time!

It was just a very nice experience. I just needed a comfortable bed and pillows. They were great. The room was spotless. The shower was great. It was close to the freeway which made it easy to get where I needed to go.

Went to stay at this location tonight after traveling the entire day. The room looked nice but shortly after we arrived we found ourselves crawling in fleas. I picked 5 or 6 off my legs from walking around our room and my wife had another 3 or 4 on her. We promptly checked out of the hotel as we are not dealing with fleas. If one room has them others likely do too. The front desk person said he would have a manager call us tomorrow as no one was available who could help. He also added that he couldn't understand why there would be fleas as its not a pet room, even though I gave him a cup with 3 live ones which he threw in the trash. Called Best Western directly as we were without a room. The representative said pretty much the same thing, we would have to wait until tomorrow to hear from the property manager. The only thing we could find at the local Kroger to treat our clothes requires us to wash them. So here we are an hour later just heading the 7 hours home because our stuff is likely infested with these fleas. Thanks Best Western for ruining our vacation. I will not be staying at any of your locations and will be spreading the word in regards to my experience. Very disappointed as this is not what I come to expect from them. Only thing good that came out of this is we also notified Priceline as they were the ones we booked with. The representative we spoke with was outstanding!

drove 10 hours to get to best western to find out that what we booked online was not for us when we arrived we had 6 rooms we were pissed off best western told us that it was there fault and found another bw another hour drive with no acknowledge of this being their fault with no sorry no price change for our trouble. not nice. but on the better side the place we went to was by far more secure and better place. the Clarksville location was not a good looking and secure place by the looks of it to stay. pretty bad area by the looks of it glad we had to move on

Manager kicked veteran with service dog out of restaurant and would not rent room. When reported, lied about encounter and dog's behavior. Home office did not respond positively and blamed it on the franchisee.

Excellent service. Could not beat the price. I stay here regularly for business. Some of the staff recognizes me when I stay. Shopping is near by as are places to eat. I have never heard my neighbors next door

Booked a room with a king bed. The room was sized for a double bed, but a king bed was stuffed into it. Then a work table was added - had to crawl around it to get into bed. No room for more than 1 suitcase. Definitely not a king bed sized room. This is an older facility trying to compete with newer places.

I am actually a Travel agent who books Best Westerns a lot so I always like to try the product I use. I was very pleased with my stay here. It was so close to a lot of attractions in the Louisville area. The price of the hotel and the service we receive was by far worth the 15 minute drive to the attractions like Louisville slugger, Muhammad ails home, the cemetery, the night life at 4th street live or the Highlands, and some of the spots on the bourbon trail. A decently cheap Uber (which were all fabulous) was by far cheaper than a downtown hotel which would also charge parking. And when we decided to drive on our own many restaurants and shopping were very close by. We actually even walked to some.

Good hotel for the price, good location with lots of things to do and a lot of nearby restaurants. Rooms are small, especially the bathroom. Room had a smell but you got used to it. Good deal for price

This hotel has charged me a non-smoker $250 for smoking in the room. Never happened. Don't smoke. When I questioned the charge the then added another $178.00 claiming I trashed the room. If you call leaving the bed unmade them I guess I did it. The room was left in the same shape as when i checked in. Be ware of this scam at this Hotel.

Beds were comfortable. Free Breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed waffles with fruit and sausage on available biscuits. The coffee was extremely good. The desk attendant tried hard to please for the most part. Mexican Restaurant adjacent to Motel was convenient and food was delicious. But all was not positive. Issue: First room-Bathroom had hair on the floor. Accessible features appeared flimsy. Resolve: Comment on how we should have checked the room before moving all our luggage in was not appreciated but new room was graciously provided. It was clean and Accessible features (totally different) were sturdy. Issue: TV Remote stopped working after a few minutes. Resolve: Husband to office - new batteries. Still didn't work-called office and staff came immediately. He checked connections (which I had done) and then rebooted. That worked. Issue: While getting breakfast my husband decided to verify we were being charged for one room only. Evidently that precipitated us being checked out. My spouse in his underwear and me in my nightgown did not expect a maid to enter the room unannounced. I certainly didn't expect a follow-up call informing me that we were checked out and were not allowed to be in the room. Getting a receipt before leaving was not unusual. I was accustomed to seeing it under my door when I woke up. One statement was not enough, I gather we had ruined her day because she continued to chastise me. I apologized for whatever my husband, unbeknownst to me, had done and assured her we would be out soon. Would I stay there again? Probably not.

While the staff seemed to try and make the best out of the experience, this hotel was not what we expected based on the reviews we read. The rooms are tiny, the walls are like paper, the lock on the door was not fully attached, the breakfast was lukewarm. On a positive note: when we asked for two more blankets we did get something - however, they were quilted mattress covers and they kept sliding off the bed.

I've stayed at several area hotels, in this price range, and this was by far the best option! Very nicely remodeled, super easy process!! Close to many restaurant choices & shopping and the interstate! We will be back!

Best Western continues to impress me with their clean, comfortable and modern hotel rooms. The bed was comfortable and, most importantly, everything was clean and in working order. No complaints other than pool being closed for renovations (would have been nice to swim in summer).

I happened to choose this hotel when I was visiting a friend near Jeffersonville about 6 years ago. I have continued to choose this hotel whenever I am in the area ever since. My fiance loves it. It has great breakfast options. I have never had any issue with the rooms, and there are a lot of restaurant options in walking distance.

This was a good location for visiting Louisville and staying in the suburbs. Lots of eating options nearby, pleasant room, helpful staff. Only down side was a noisy bathroom fan. Loved the real freezer in the in-room fridge - I was able to freeze the cold packs for my cooler rock solid overnight. All the rooms are ground-level, if that matters to you (I like to avoid stairs).

Checking-in was super quick. Room smelled good and the room was clean. Staff at breakfast was super sweet. I would recommend this hotel and stay again only if choose a bigger suite. The hot breakfast was the same every morning. Could use some change in that.

We stay at this hotel when we are in the area because it is clean, priced very well and close to everything. The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. The only issue we had, is that you are not permitted to take your breakfast back to your room. This is not a good policy considering there are those unable to go to the dining room. if you are staying in the hotel, and do not want to eat in the dining room, you should be permitted to eat in your room.

had a problem with accessible room after pushing the issue the gen . manager she changed the room,. also would not allow early check in (2 hours) unless I paid for previous day. after getting through all that nonsense the place wasn't so bad.

A nice place to stay just north of Louisville across the river-I was very pleased with my room and the hotel in general-I didn't experience any problems-comfortable bed, nice shower, TV and air conditioning unit which is important to me-also a very friendly and professional staff.

I will start off by saying that we stayed here for 8 nights for a conference. The hotel was very clean and quiet. I loved the fact that I could park outside my door every night as there is at least one parking spot for each room. The breakfast was decent and there was a lot of stuff around there to do or eat. The downside, the bath towels are bigger than a hand towel but much smaller than any bath towel I've ever used. One towel wouldn't wrap around my body and I'm 5'2" and weigh 125 pounds. The first 2 nights and the last night there were 4 girls in the room. The other 5 nights, there were only 2 of us. So, figure one towel for your body and one for your hair. That would be 8 towels on the 4 person nights and 4 towels on the 2 person nights. We didn't get our room serviced everyday as we didn't need it, they don't change the sheets, just make the bed and with 3 teenagers, there was quite a bit of stuff scattered. We never used the pool (which was closed at least 4 or 5 of the days that we were there), only ate breakfast twice and basically just needed a place to shower and sleep. We weren't needy. All we needed were clean towels. Well you would have thought that they provided you with oversized bathsheets that were from the Four Seasons that cost them a fortune. Each housekeeper I approached on various days made me switch them out one for one and denied my daughter extra towels on the first day when she asked. Then accused her of taking them off of her cart. If she took them, why would she have asked you for some? When I asked her what the big deal with the towels was, she pointed the finger toward her boss saying that she was the one making a stink when later my daughter told me that it was her. I approached the front desk about why we couldn't get extra towels when we in fact had 4 people in the room and they were only giving us 4 towels. They gave me more and said that they were going to talk to the housekeeping staff and it shouldn't be an issue at all. It was again. When this happened the third time, I put up my do not disturb sign and told the cleaning lady that I didn't want my room serviced. We were leaving the next day. They went in, serviced my room anyways and left a note saying that they went in with the supervisor (probably to do an inventory of the towels). When we arrived back later that night, we discovered the do not disturb still on the door and the note. I immediately went to the front desk who was puzzled as to why they would do that. There wasn't a manager on duty and was told to come back and one would be in by 7 a.m. Well at 8:30 a.m., there still wasn't a manager and was told that they were extremely sorry and one would call me as soon as they got in. Well here I am one month later and my phone still hasn't rang. I am disappointed in you, Best Western. This could have been our go to spot, but the accusations and rationing of your piece of crap towels has ruined that thought.

Rooms very clean, large pool, close the Louisville, however if you want breakfast you better get yourself down there no later that 9:15. The hostess will start turning off the waffle iron, locking the juice machine, and taking the food off the bar even if you are trying to make a plate.

The room was very clean and smelled fresh. The bed was comfortable and the room came with a microwave and refrigerator standard. The staff was friendly as well. Probably my only complaint would be that the walls don't buffer out sounds well between neighbors, but a great hotel otherwise.

I was attending a jazz concert in Louisville, KY and needed a place to stay overnight before heading home. Chose the BW Green Tree primarily due to price. Older hotel with exterior doors. Nice staff, rooms are to the smallish side, but are nicely decorated and I only needed a place to rest overnight. Great breakfast, probably the best that I have had at a BW. If you need a reasonably priced hotel with good amenities this is a better choice at half the price than the Hampton Inn next door.

This hotel was easy to find and close to Louisville. You park outside your door so it was easy access to load and unload the car. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. The sink was outside the bathroom was that was nice, 2 people could get ready at the same time. It was the typical free breakfast but they did continually restock. The wifi worked very well.

For someone new to the area this Hotel may be a little difficult to locate but once you arrive and look around all is well. Easy access to the Interstate I-65. Many restaurants close by and shopping malls very close also. The layout of the Hotel is very interesting and I think quite appealing. One drawback would be having a room close to the pool particularly if you are not using it. Can be noisy with people going to and from past your room.. All being said I would definitely stay here again if in the area and I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

This is the 4th time I've stayed at this hotel and I was very disappointed. The toilet seat was so loose that it must have been like that for a long time and housekeeping had to know about it. I reported it 4 times before it was fixed. The cable didn't work 2 mornings. I was never able to get on the internet with my laptop. The cleaning products they used were so perfumed they gave me a headache. I asked several times for them not to be used but they did anyway. The pillows are tall and lumpy. Bathroom floor looked clean but when I wiped up spilled water, it was definitely not. People were smoking outside their doors and it was coming into my room. The front desk staff is very nice.

Had a nice stay at the Best Western for two nights. Room was clean, updated and the staff was nice. Loved the fact that it is a single level so no dragging stuff up stairs. Would stay there again. Several restaurants within walking distance.

I had to plan an impromptu trip during the holidays. There was nothing available in the top hotels where I usually stay. I was very reluctant having to stay at a Best Western, but I had no other choice. However, the staff at check-in was very professional and friendly. When entering my hotel room, I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the room and the quality of the furniture. I found the bed to be very comfortable with high quality bedding. I slept like a baby in this quiet safe environment. When returning from my journey, I booked another stay. Why not? I felt I was getting the quality of the more expensive hotels at a much cheaper price. I would recommend this particular Best Western (Clarksdale, Indiana) to anyone.

The BW in Clarksville is an outstanding place to stay. Convenient, economical, great staff and the rooms are very up to date and clean. The hot breakfast is outstanding. I would recommend this BW to everyone.

Was planning to stay here for four days with our family reunion but left after 1st night. The staff were nice. The room was lousy. Room was damp, moldy smelling with a strong air freshener trying to cover it up. The room was dark and depressing. The room looked so bad that i immediately stripped the beds looking for bed bugs before unloading our luggage. I was amazed I didn't see any. The old carpet was damp near the door. Mattresses were awful. Worst night's sleep in a long time. My daughter's asthma was triggered and I had a headache from my mold allergy. In the morning I saw workers spraying Old English furniture polish on all of RR exterior vents to the room. That might explain the smell. The hotel is next to the highway and has an abandoned hotel next door where different trucks park there each night.

Everything about the room & hotel was excellent. Well worth the stay. The items in room was good, the bed was very comfortable. They allowed my Toy Pomeranian in room as well, won't stay were pets are not accepted.

No notice of pool being closed & under construction until I received my confirmation email. Maid was very helpful. Room was clean. All appliances worked in the room. Arrived late, 11pm, wish after identifying myself I'd been allowed into the Lobby to complete my registration.

Wonderful place to spend the night after traveling 500 miles with hubby and 2 small dogs. Comfortable bed-room a bit small but no big concerns. Cozy all over, a nice hot shower, clean room and a nice breakfast. Definitely would return if in the area again.

This is a well kept up older hotel. Price is reasonable, good location. My only problem is that the rooms are saturated with air freshener to the point I found it almost impossible to stay in the room. I actually took my computer out on the sidewalk and worked to get out of the room and I left as soon as I got out of bed.

The layout of Green Tree was quite different from other Best Western motels. The rooms were just big enough for two people. Not my favorite . Breakfast was pretty good and the staff was OK. The pillows need to be replaced, very lumpy.

Our car broke down and we had to spend 3 nights here. We had such an enjoyable experience at this hotel that it felt like it was a planned part of the trip. Thank you for a clean and friendly place to stay.

This is a nice hotel. All the rooms are on one level and you drive to your room like a motel. So, no noise from above. There is a fake 2nd floor façade built above – just for decoration. The sidewalks were salted. There was complementary Wall Street Journal, complementary Dasani water given. Two sisters run the front desk, Chloe in the evening and Kay-Anna in the morning. They call themselves the dynamic duo! Everything but the bathtub was replaced in the last renovation a year ago. Looks brand new. Cool back-lighted light switches. Nice bathroom, plumbing, and tile. Very comfy beds. Nice lamps, furniture and bedding. Breakfast was good with all the choices you would expect. Highly recommended.

No hot water, complained about it, front desk said I was the only one with this issue, and I must be lying. Breakfast had the same thing 3 mornings in a row. Room keys didn't work very well at all. Location is convenient.

It I close to the freeway and near my customer. We had a very productive meeting. There is a Golden Corral, Bob Evans and Senor Iguanas mexican restaurant close by. I chose the Golden Corral.

We stayed here for our anniversary trip due to it's location relevant to Louisville. Upon arriving, the front desk did not address us immediately, rather the manager/owner was too worried about discussing dirty rooms with the 2 front desk employees. Due to this hotel being so close to Louisville, I expected to find visitor guides/information that would help us on our trip. The front desk didn't ask us the reason for our stay, nor did they offer any suggestions for restaurants or dining, all things I expect when I visit a hotel. It's nice to be asked the reason for our stay, that way the employees are familiar with our needs and can make helpful suggestions. Room was small although I did appreciate the microwave and mini fridge. Appeared cleaned and well maintained. Bed was okay, a little too firm for me but my husband found it comfortable. Upon checkout the gentleman at the desk refused to provide me with a receipt. I booked through hotels.com and just wanted confirm I was being charged the correct price. he wouldn't confirm or deny my rates and said I'd get a receipt emailed. Thankfully I was charged the correct rate on my credit card.

We stayed here after seeing a show at the Derby Dinner Playhouse. Best Western Green Tree is just a short drive away from there. The bed was extremely comfortable and the sheets were super soft. Everything was very clean and everyone was friendly. We were on the first floor, but heard almost no outside noise. We will definitely stay there again!

I am always leery of hotels. We were very happy with our room. It was very clean and up to date. They have a nice area for breakfast with a good variety. There are several restaurants close by. Bass Pro, Dicks Sporting Goods and other stores are very close. We would definitely stay here again.

Over all this was a nice place. I like the door opening to the outside. The pool wasn't open yet and it was 85. That was the only drawback... and the reason I picked this hotel. I was really hoping the pool was open.

Returning home after winter away, we stayed for the 4th time at the Green TRee Inn. This continues to be one of the cleanest hotels we've ever stayed in. It is a great value and location and is pet friendly, has a nice breakfast in a clean and bright dining room and friendly staff. We always plan trips so we can stay here. We highly recommend it!

This place was so nice, comfortable, clean and smelled really good when we walked in room. It is off interstate, but you don't hear traffic. There is a speedway that you can hear if sitting outside. Beds pillows are very comfortable. Tv you don't get a lot of channels, but we visiting friends until late. Air conditioner is very quite and very cold. They had what looked like a good breakfast but we didn't stay for it. Would defiantly stay again.

Rooms are always clean. Staff very polite and helpful. Beds are comfy!!! Hotel is within walking distance to Senor Iguana Mexican Restaurant, Golden Corral, and Bob Evans. Short drive to other restaraunts. Short drive to Bass Pro!! Very convenient location - close to several places to shop.

Pay attention to your bill at checkout. Cleaning staff has a tendency not to replace used items when cleaning the room. Coffee for example. When checking in didn't acknowledge my reward status. When checking out never got a thank you and clerk never got off his chair and acknowledged my stay. Business needs to train their employees to treat their customers

As the former owner of a full service tour/ travel company and current owner of a trucking company I have stayed in hundreds of hotels across the country and the Best Western Green Tree Inn was one of the nicest for the cost. It was clean, well appointed, had a decent hot breakfast bar especially for being free.Internet worked fine and I really appreciated having access to a computer with printer. We will definitely stay here when in the area again.

Spent the night here recently. Room was clean and a nice size. It had a continental breakfast and it was fine. Located near several restaurants and a nice shopping center. Booked the room online through the BW site, but was able to cancel that reservation upon arrival and got the room about $10 cheaper at the front desk. Nice staff.

Clean, close to restaurants, gas etc. Easy exit from interstate to park and leave the next day. The quality of breakfast was good. Variety for people who may want something different. I would consider it a $12-15 value per person.

I spend one night a this Best Western. My only complain is the noise from the Interstate that runs next to the hotel witch you don"t really hear inside the room. I was checked in by the nicest girl named Cory. As i was checking in a guest asked her a question and I was impressed how helpful and knowledgeable she was. I was taken back by the look of the room, it was really nice. Everything was like I expected but fresh and clean.

If you would like to stay at a hotel that you can trust, stay at Best Western Green Tree Inn Clarksville, IN. We left a Surface Pro computer in the room and when we realized we left it, we called and it was turned it. Also they held it for us for 5 days.

We stayed here Thanksgiving evening to be in town for Black Friday at Bass Pro Shop. This was a great place to stay. Rooms are clean, staff was very helpful. We didn't have the breakfast so I can't say anything about that. The only problem I had was the when I plugged my Cpap into the plug it shut off about 30 minutes after I started to use it because the lamp was controlled but the sensor that turns the light off automatically. The side of the bed my wife was on had a plug that stayed on but I didn't want to wake her to switch sides. Not my best night of sleep. They need plugs on both sides. I would still recommend it for your next stay in the area.

This hotel is everything we want in a stop: clean, quiet, well-maintained, comfortable, with a generous breakfast selection. We arrived rather late at night after a full day driving. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spotless, and all the fixtures worked well. The wi-fi was fast and reliable. We slept well and enjoyed a great hot breakfast before hitting the road again. It's very conveniently located off the interstate, too. Will definitely stay here again if we are in the Louisville area.

I made the reservation in a hurry because I wanted a hotel that was reasonably priced near the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory. This one seemed to fit the bill. I did not realize that it was in Indiana. Oh well, it was easy to get to, near the museum, clean and quiet. I enjoyed breakfast. One of the breakfast attendants was going about her job and was singing the entire time. It was a joy to see someone who enjoyed their job enough to sing while she worked.

This was our second time staying here while visiting my wife's family. We were greatly impressed with our first visit and were pleased once again. It didn't quite live up to our first stay but was still very good. The main difference was the staff, they were friendly and helpful, we were just so blown away at the level of service the first time. I'm guessing management and staff has changed since the last time we were here. One of the reasons we chose this hotel originally is because they have cribs, which is great because I didn't have to bring one on the trip. The first time the crib was waiting for us in our room. This time when we checked in, I requested the crib and explained it was no rush because we wouldn't be back until later in the evening. When we returned a little after 8pm, still no crib. I walked to the front desk and she went to the back and brought out a pack and play and handed it to me. The pack and play is fine, but not as good as the crib we got last time, and it would have been nice if they had had it waiting for us in our room instead of having to go get it and set it up myself. Not a big deal, but I feel like this is an improvement they can make. Other than that the room is super clean, beds and pillows very comfortable, and noise level very low. Also, the free breakfast is above average with comparable hotels I've stayed in.

Prices were out of line with expectations, I was charged as much as 50% higher than check-in price over a range of 30 days. This was a very unusual policy for a hotel from my experience. Prices went from the agreed $99.00 per night to as high as $150.00 for the night. overall about 25% over charged.

this was a clean motel and staff was friendly.would stay here again and tell other people it would be a good choice. The staff is rather young so they may not have all the answers, but they will try to find the answers for you. There are many restaurants in the ares that you walk to. Many places to shop. There is also a Krispy Kreme down the road(YUM).

The Inn's architecture is lovely, the rooms are well soundproofed, and the breakfast was plentiful, tasty, and attractive.

Lots of road construction near Louisville.Motel was excellent.Different set up from what i was used to at Best Western.Beautiful town.Didnt have anyone overhead.It was one level.First time.Shower pressure put out some water.Rate this as the best ive stayed.Excellent.Went to Ali center.Wish there was more memorabalia.But it was excellent.Also went to Alis boyhood home..Recomend to all.This man was really something.

I will admit I wasn't happy with my parents hotel selection when I heard where they made our reservations, but I was pleasantly surprised. This property is newly renovated, clean, and has a very nice staff. Everything is on one level and conveniently located. My only thing I didn't like is the room doors open directly to the outside. I will stay here again, if I am in the area!

This is an older facility with small rooms. Very comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful Breakfast is great. Located in a good location with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. No real problems other than size of room.

I've stayed at many hotels at this economy level including many Best Westerns. The BW Green Tree if not a PLUS in Best Western's levels, but this property is doing a LOT RIGHT. Heck, I even saw staff pressure cleaning guest walkways. The pool area and furnishings were spotless and plentiful. I was able to park right in front of our room which was nicely appointed and modern. I'm irritated when a hotel says its rooms are non smoking but they really smell of stale cigarette smoke. NOT this property. Our room was fresh and nicely appointed. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast though pretty standard, included hot eggs that changed...scrambled, omelets, sausage, etc. When I made an error in our departure date, my wife and I had gone to explore leaving our bags in the room. The hotel called and told us we were supposed to have checked out. I checked my dates and indeed I had missed departure. The lady was nice enough to extend our stay a day with no problem. Before booking this hotel, I checked a BW about 5 miles away but it was TWICE as expensive. I am very glad I chose Green Tree. Great price, great hotel. Also, there are a huge amount of shopping and eating options right around the hotel and it is only 10 minutes over the bridge to get into Louisville. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Decent stay - BED was way too soft (old) - needed replaced. No hooks in bathroom for towels or robe. Had to throw towels in floor and not re-use since they were wet and couldnt' hang them up to dry/reuse

Usually choose larger chains for some unknown reason, but this is a nice place I can say I was glad to have experienced! Great location, newer rooms, great breakfast (served till 10a on weekends) No interior rooms, all rooms you can drive right up to. Staff was very pleasant, and tons of restaurants within safe walking distance. Do yourself a favor, save $30-50 dollars and give it a try

Spent a few weeks here in last two months and don't have many complaints Clean rooms, fairly quiet, cheap compared to surrounding hotels. Good breakfast. Would definitely recommend to anyone working in the area.

For a bit lower than average priced hotel, the BW offers a nice good quality well arranged well equipped facility. The only real complaint that we have is the shower head height. It is ridiculously high. Whoever installed them must have been 7 1/2 feet tall. RIDICULOUS !!

This place was very nice and the appearance from the outside was amazing. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. I did find it a little difficult to work at the small table but it wasn't too bad. It was a very hot two days there and the room was kept at 70 without any problem.

Able to park right outside the room door, which I find very useful for unpacking and packing. Smallish room but quiet, clean, and comfortable. The staff was courteous and the breakfast was adequate. Fairly easy off and on to highway.

Do not stay at this hotel if you are using air miles! There should not have been a charge made to my credit card but they charged me regardless. Confirmed with air miles that they made the payment and contacted the hotel but they for some reason cannot understand the simple concept of that they received payment and should refund my money. Air miles fighting this and still no refund. May have to go higher with this complaint.

We stayed here on our way to the Kentucky state fair. We got there late, had a speedy check in, dropped off our bags and then went to the restaurant next door. We got back to our room about 10:30 and after a quick shower I turned on the tv which didn't work. I called the front desk and the young lady came down and got it working for us. I was a little nervous about the doors all facing the parking lot instead of a corridor and the noise level and headlights but it was okay. The hotel is a little older and could have used some minor repairs but it was good for a night. The staff was really nice and helpful! This hotel is ALOT better than the BW in Shepherdsville which is just a few miles down the road.

I booked a room through Trip Advisor which trip advisor said was available but actually the hotel was completely full. Luckily the desk clerk noticed and gave me a call to inform me that had no rooms and she was sorry and wasn't sure why it was saying their were rooms available.

A well located property with the ability to park in front of most rooms. A nice breakfast offered and a plethora of restaurant choices within walking distance for the other meals. A very clean property.

So we checked in and I had made the reservation with one card, but did not pay in advance. I intended to use a different card when we got here. The clerk had already run our card when we arrived. Some policy that I was not aware of. And I had called ahead to confirm our resevation. She did not apologize or acknowledge the inconvenience. I really had not wanted that card used. Got a blank stare. Then we get to the room and the TV doesn't work. Called her. Gee, there's nothing I can do. No maintenance man, I can't step away. I don't know how to fix it either. I can move you to another room. Now we are very aggravated. The next room had a door that was stuck so hard, my husband couldn't get in! Back to the office. Now she says we can stay in the room where the TV doesn't work, or move now to a room with 2 queen beds. We reserved a room with a king bed. We think we should get a discount for a room less than what we asked for. She refuses!! No apology, no "how can I make this better?" We will NEVER be back, and we've only been here 30 minutes.

We only stayed here for one night but it was a wonderful stay. Front desk and staff friendly and helpful. Room was perfect for us. Loved the bed. Great night sleep. Very clean and comfortable. I would stay here again. I highly recommend this best western.

Very good place to stay. Rooms are clean. Staff is great and very helpful. We stay there every year in August for 5 nights. As long as prices stay reasonable we will continue to do so. I would recommend it to anyone.

I am not generally a fan of Best Western, but this property is an exception. It lived up to all of the good reviews, with a friendly and competent desk staff, large comfortable room, good breakfast options including hot food, and convenient location --all at a remarkably low price. Wifi was slow but adequate.

Convenient hotel off the interstate. Rooms were clean, pool was nice, staff was friendly and breakfast was good. Several resturants are within walking distance. There is construction on the bridge going into Louisville, we did not have issues with this but others said they did.

Booked this hotel on line through a travel Web site. Room was small but decent sized. Large bathroom. Clean. Since the rooms were open to the parking lot there was noise (ie: car doors, loud people, etc). Beds were very comfortable. Only drawback was breakfast was only served until 9am. We thought this was a little early to end. Overall good stay but get up early if you want breakfast.

Nice hotel. Very friendly staff. I stayed one night and was planning on leaving the next day however, my plans were canceled and I had to stay an extra day. The staff was very accommodating and took care of my needs. There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance so it's a great location.

Just stayed one night to visit a friend in Jeffersonville. It is quiet, comfortable, clean and the front desk clerk was very accommodating. The pool was great for my son and the location was perfect. We did not eat breakfast but I did go in to get some coffee and the breakfast looked adequate.

all in all pretty good, except for cobwebs in corners and slow internet and it was a good stop over point for the trip home. Very close to all kinds of restraints and store's and not to far from entertainment if your so inclined.

Good amenities, breakfast was great and staff very helpful. Clean!! Easy access to freeways. Grounds were nicely kept, pool looked very clean. Only drawback was the area was confusing and the roads are not in very good shape, compared to Texas roads.

This Best Western was dog friendly ($15 pet fee) and reasonably price ($94) just beyond Louisville as you cross into Indiana, Obviously recently updated facility. The hotel has drive up to the door rooms (which I like). The rooms were nice with a mini fridge and microwave. There is an outside pool but limited area to walk a dog since it is primarily a commercial neighborhood. The hotel is an easy drive or even walking distance to a number of familiar restaurants (fast food or sit down). The best may be the Mexican restaurant Senor Iguana's which is right next door practically on site. We called in an order which was ready for a quick pick up. The breakfast was included and was great including eggs, sausages and biscuits along with the usual continental items. Once directions were explained by a friendly front desk staff, it was easy to get right back on Highway 65 in the morning and start the ride north.

Exceeded my expections, with refridgerator and microwave, I had the best sleep on the Beauty Rest matteress, room was spotless, great location exit off the highway directly into their parking lot... will stay again.

Pros: Friendly staff, nice free breakfast, fair price, close to a lot of restaurants. Cons: Literally right next to the highway and rooms open to the outside. Lots of families were there (and baseball/ softball teams) so it seemed like a popular and family friendly spot. Nothing bad to report- about what you would expect for the price.

Overall, this hotel is clean and comfortable. I did not have time for the breakfast or pool (which is small) but this hotel is just as nice as the Hampton Inn next door for much less money. It is a bit more than the Value Inn but it is so much nicer and quieter. It looks newly updated. One of the nicer Mid-west Best Westerns.

We had a very pleasant stay. Bed was very good and that is most important to me, Very pleasant pool although the water was cool. The only thing that did not appeal to me was the outside entry. I don't like opening my door not knowing what or who is there. There were several restaurants within walking distance.

The staff was all you can ask from a staff of professionals, from the front desk to breakfast staff to cleaning staff. Proper amount of pillows for my taste (4 per bed), and they were fluffy. Bed could have been more comfortable, but over all a good experience for the price.

Our entire team stayed here for a softball tourney. Rooms were clean, well stocked with towels and nicely updated. The girls loved the pool. Breakfast was standard. Good location close to the interstate, shopping and food. Rooms were very quiet and we heard no interstate noise. My only complaint is that they don't accept cash and when you book online they don't inform you of this policy. We had an issue with identity theft and made the trip with cash as we were waiting on new debit cards. I had a credit card to secure the room with but wanted to pay my bill with cash...no dice. I don't mind the policy but feel it should be advertised when you book. The employee at the desk informed me that they knew it wasn't posted online and "someone should fix that." I agree!

This is an excellent hotel. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are comfortable. It is located right over the state line in Indiana. Close to restaurants and shopping. We stay here almost every year.

My boyfriend and I were extremely tired and had had a long day when we arrived at the hotel without a reservation later in the day. The hotel receptionist, Brandon, was extremely friendly and helpful. He made sure we were taken care of and even helped me sign up for a Best Western membership, which is free and allowed us to get the best rate that night. He even explained all of the perks that go with it. After such a long day it was definitely a relief to be welcomed by such an awesome receptionist with a genuinely helpful attitude. When we got to our room we were once again blown away by the high quality. It was extremely clean and spacious and even had a fridge and microwave. We took advantage of the free Internet and the amazing free breakfast the next day. If I'm ever in need of a hotel in the area again I'll definitely stay here.

I found this hotel in Clarksville IN cheaper than the hotels in Louisville. It's just a few minutes from downtown Louisville. The room was clean, quiet, had two nice queen beds, a mini-fridge, microwave and wi-fi. Breakfast was fine with cold items and a couple of hot items. Check-in was very slow. One employee was working and two others talking to each other in the back. The pool looked ok. We did not go in.

The room is a bit small, but we didn't come here to stay in our room the whole time. We chose it so we could visit Kentucky Kingdom and the surrounding caves. The hotel staff have all been wonderful. The pool felt great after a hot day at the park. Breakfast was wonderful. I liked that they offered a variety of foods and it was free. Plus the outside of the motel all looks new.

The first time we stayed here they were renovating. It all turned out great. The staff is always pleasant and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is fresh and the chef is always maintaining the area. We were unable to attend the pool this time; maybe next time! I really hope they do not raise the price like they did our other BW hotel because we really like it. The location is great around restaurants and shopping.

Best price for the area and quality of hotel. Very clean. Slept well. Had a great breakfast. Minimal bath products. Agent on duty at check out did not know about getting airline miles for the stay. Did not get it resolved over the phone with Home Office either. But would not stop me from staying again. Every shopping outlet known to man was at that exit. Four miles from Louisville. New amusement park in the area too with good rates and specials.

I was going to be in the area for business and found this place on Trivago. I knew nothing about the area, but the reviews were very good so I decided to give it a try, sight unseen. This motel is clean, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are exceptionally well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was great with a good variety and served early (6:00 am) for those who, like me, have early commitments. I was very happy to have chosen this place. Oh, and the price was surprisingly good, as well.

I have nothing but rave reviews for this motel they just finished a complete remodel so it's up to date fresh and clean. The staff was friendly and quick to help with a question or a problem like a clogged Toilet during our stay. I will say it's centrally located near restaurants and retail as well as the highway.????

The rooms are newly remodeled and are spacious. All the staff was friendly and they serve a nice hot breakfast. I would stay again and I recommend it other travelers.The room with tax was $116 There are lots of restaurants nearby to choose from. They have a pool that looked nice. I did not go in. They have USA Today papers for free.

Very friendly,new remodel, quiet. Is a little confusing to drive in this area. Getting to this motel and leaving to get back on interstate are easy. Getting to restaurants is challenging.' Breakfast and check out are in same area and newly remodeled. Good coffee..

Close to Downtown Louisville ! The rooms were clean and very modern. had a good breakfast , used the express check out , worked very well. Pool and workout are was nice although I did not have time to use them. Lots of good shopping and restaurants nearby. A great place to stay while visiting Louisville , Including the Urban Bourbon Trail. There are 37 bars with great food, you can get your passport at any of them . Get them stamped . Once you have visited 6 of them , one drink minimum. you can get your official Kentucky Urban Bourbon Trail t shirt !

We always use this Best Western when we stay in Louisville. It is convenient to get to and out of when heading to and from Louisville. Appears to be recently updated. Very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend

Stayed here for one night, originally had 2 scheduled but left early due to weather. Front desk staff was very understanding and helpful, especially since we had booked through an agency and not direct. Room was clean. Area felt safe.

At check in, we were informed that hotel had been over booked and we might have to change rooms during our stay. Fortunately, that didn't happen but I was concerned, I mean, how can you over book? They know how many rooms they have, right? But all is well that ends well. The property was very clean and very presentable!

We like this Best Western location because it was clean and the people working there are pleasant and friendly. It is a great location to get to things in and around the Clarksville/Jeffersonville and Louisville areas.

Extremely clean; Courteous/helpful staff; HUGE all you can eat breakfast (everything from cereal to eggs, biscuits/gravy, sausage, fruit, belgian waffles, rolls, etc), right near stores, restaurants, yet far enough from Louisville (10 minutes) for straight route to convention center. EXCELLENT stay.

This is our 3rd stay on our way northbound each spring. Each time has been better...they've just finished an extensive re-do of rooms. I am EXTREMELY picky and I will say our two rooms were absolutely spotless. The linens were very nice, snowy white and generous. Traveled with elderly parent and 2 pets and were given the room arrangement we requested. All staff very friendly, helpful and professional. Highly recommend this location. (note: pillows a bit big and full for our liking...our ONLY negative...and thats personal preference!) Very convenient location; just off freeway (but quiet); an easy drive to lots of eateries in a very nice area.

There wae an unusually pleasant and helpful member of the housekeeping staff named Angeli who overwhelmed me with her kindness. She saw me in difficulty and hurried to assist me. But the site is very difficult to find.

We were there for the Thunder Weekend a very busy time for the town. And the hotels are expensive. We were very happy with our stay. I called to make the reservations as we have special needs & everything was as I wanted. The entire staff was friendly & very helpful. We will be back new year.

We stumbled on this place accidentally and were pleasantly surprised - we've been back 3 times since! It is conveniently located, quiet and wonderful staff. Only thing lacking was a hook in the bathroom - petty right? :) We are fans.

We're moving to Indiana and stayed here while the inspection was performed on our new home. The room was super clean and felt very crisp. The complimentary breakfast was great! They had waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, a selection of cold cereals, fresh fruit and baked goods. Coffee and iced teas are available 24 hours. The staff was very friendly. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

This hotel has recently been remodeled and the room we had was really nice. The place is very clean and the staff friendly. They have direct tv so there were a large number of channels for watching. We weren't able to try their breakfast but it looked very good. Close to many shopping and eating choices.

We were in town for a Garth Brooks concert and really enjoyed our stay. Hotel was booked solid but it was very clean and in a convenient location. Staff were super friendly and rooms were updated. Hot breakfast included sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles and ... I will definitely stay in this hotel again when visiting the area.

We were pleased with our accommodations and delighted with a full breakfast. Did have quiet a bit of road/other room noise, but we brought a sound machine which helped to filter that out. Friendly staff along with a clean room helped make our short visit a pleasurable one.

Access to the motel takes some study. Quiet room location, friendly staff. Very good for the price. Great breakfast buffet, food was hot and readily available. Room was quiet and comfortable. I would come back.

Room was attractive and clean but small with uncomfortable chairs. Breakfast area was small for the number of rooms and the adjoining lobby had no sitting area or tv. Breakfast selection was great. Hotel staff was very helpful about giving directions to attractions in Louisville. The motel is in the midst of numberous shopping areas and restuarants.

Overall an excellent stay. My room was clean and comfortable, services overall were excellent. Good value for the price. Staff was helpful at check in and friendly. Checkout was good for me, however, staff made a guest wait until they had concluded what appeared to be a routine staff meeting before serving that guest's needs. Additionally, even though the breakfast bar was advertised as available until 10:00, staff began removing items about 9:45.

We stayed here on our drive home from Florida to WI. After being in the car for, 12 hours this was a very comfortable place to relax for the night. Staff was friendly, rooms were very clean and it is right off the highway and located next to lots of food optiobs. Complimentary breakfast was a great way to start off the day before getting back on the road. Thanks!

My family and I stayed here for a trip to see the sights in nearby Louisville. This was a great base to explore the city. It's located on the much quieter side of the Ohio River in Indiana. That said, there are still a lot of restaurants nearby. We had a double queen room. The room was very spacious and also had a very comfortable chair to recline in and a nice desk as well. The bathroom area was spacious and clean as well. Even though it faces a busy I-65, I heard very little road noise. My family and I really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast as well. Sausage, eggs, bagels, yogurt, cereal, waffles, coffee, and juice were all available. The wifi was also free and reliable. The next time I need to visit Louisville, I will definitely stay here again!

Nice remodeled rooms. Very safe and friendly area. Nice staff!! Don't rooms are a bit smaller but most are decent size. I have stayed there off and on for weeks. Haven't tried breakfast because I go grocery shopping and use the fridge and microwave.

The beds were great and the room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. For my stay, the location was also very good. I didn't wake up in time for breakfast. The attendant was just cleaning up but got some muffins and yogurt for me anyway. Very nice and I will stay here again.

This hotel looks brand new. They obviously took a lot of time and effort to make this a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were comfortable and very quiet. The new beds were soft and we both got a great night's sleep. The staff made sure our stay was up to their very high standards. There was a free breakfast as with most other hotels but this one served freshly made scrambled eggs and sausage. The sausage wasn't microwaved but actually cooked. The biscuits and gravy was also cooked... not nuked! We'll stay there again!

Convenient location w/ many shops and restaurants nearby, less than 5 miles to Louisville KY, staff friendly/professional, rooms are quiet, clean and beds are comfy! Close to riverfront, nice skyline view of the city from this side.

We enjoyed the room, the atmosphere and the breakfast. The hotel creates an atmosphere where even the guests are friendly to one another unlike some larger, almost sterile-like hotels. Our stay was brief and it rained the whole time but somehow our spirits were not dampened. This hotel will certainly be on the list should our travels bring us to this area again.

This is a review of two separate stays within a few weeks of each other. The first was an emergency trip as our grandson was taken to Kosair's children's hospital. We booked this room through hotels.com very late at night. They were so friendly and accomodating even at 2 in the morning. The room was absolutely spotless, we got a good albeit short night's sleep. Checked out and was on our way, very grateful. No complaints about the stay. So the next time we were in Louisville on an improptu shopping trip, we decided to stay there again on our way outside of town. We booked because this location was close to some more shopping areas, right off the interstate, and near restaurants and gas stations. The Good: Both times the rooms were spotless. My wife cleans every hotel room as soon as she checks in, she said it was the cleanest hotel we've ever stayed in. The staff has always been friendly. Parking is right in front of your room (SUPER BONUS). The location is easy to find and convenient to the highway, shopping, there's a mexican restaurant with a bar next door if you wanna walk over and have some drinks. The Bad: The pillows were terrible. That's usually true at Best Westerns. The Bed was comfortable enough, we got a good night's sleep, but I would recommend bringing a good pillow (as most car travelers already do). Recommendation: I would recommend staying here if in the area on business or looking for a simple, great value hotel. It's a Best Western, not a Hilton, so this hotel represents a fantastic value for the money.

Very clean and well kept. Staff are very nice and friendly. The breakfast is pretty good. I found the beds were hard as rock and the pillows are no fun. The rooms were great otherwise. The internet was okay. The DirectTV was nice to have.

Stay at this hotel was without any problems or incidents. Most of the other hotels were unavailable and was happy to be able to lodge here. We will probably stay here again at some point. Breakfast was average, but did not agree with not being able to take your selection with you. We were hurrying to our event and did not have time sit in breakfast area. I believe if you are paying to lodge there you should be able to at least eat you breakfast where you choose.

This room was not big enough for the kind bed and all the furniture crammed into it. There was no shampoo in the dispenser and the light over the sink kept turning off. The bed mattress was also old, or just needed flipping and rotating, nothing like rolling into the center of the mattress when you turn over in your sleep.

we went for my birthday weekend hotel staff was professional and friendly. we had one small problem but it was handled okay. we will definitely stay if we are in the area again. could use a newer style wardrobe but overall a good place to stay for an extended weekend

We were traveling through and needed a motel/hotel that was dog friendly but didn't charge a small fortune for the dog. Best Western Green Tree was perfect. The pet fee is $15.00 which we felt was fair. We also were traveling with a truck and 30 ft travel trailer so we needed adequate parking and they had a place right across the small road from them. This motel is very very big so we did have to haul our luggage a distance but if you aren't pulling a trailer you can park right in front of your room. The room was small but adequate. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. There were several places to eat within walking distance. We ate at the Si Iguana, a Mexican restaurant right next door and it was fabulous. We highly recommend that!

Newly renovated. Everything was clean. Close to freeways and food and gas places. Proximity to Louisville downtown. Lobby is great with its renovation. Breakfast had plenty of choices and had healthy option but you have to request.

The Green Tea Best Western is comfortable, clean, and welcoming. The room was a great value, and the free hot breakfast bar was one of the best I've seen. One of the best hotel experiences I've had in years. Don't hesitate to stay there. You will not be disappointed.

This was the first time staying at the Green Tree Best Western in Clarksville, and let me say I was impressed. I picked the Green Tree Inn, based on Trip Advisor ratings. Here is my experience... Reservations were spot on and check in was a breeze. I had two rooms and asked to be placed near each other, and the attendant did some magic and arranged to have the placed side by side. It was wonderful to be able to park directly outside my room(s) and not have to drag my baggage up and down hallways and elevators. (THIS WAS A BIG PLUS) Both rooms were in wonderful shape and it is quite apparent that the folks at the Green Tree take pride in their establishment. Breakfast is served at 6am every morning. It consisted of yogurt, boiled eggs, waffles, scrambled eggs or omelet, sausage links or patties, biscuits and sausage gravy, and assortment of dry cereals, instant oatmeal and fresh fruit. (Apples, bananas, and clementine oranges). There was fresh milk, orange juice, apple juice, coffee and Gold Peak tea to wash it all down with. The dining area was in good upkeep and the attendant kept things stocked and the area clean. Room as I said was clean. The bathroom was spotless with towels that were "BRIGHT" white. No dingy linens to speak of. The plus was the shower was set up for a tall person, so I didn't have to stoop when I showered. The bed linens appeared in wonderful condition, with clean white sheets. Inspection of the bed showed them to be in great shape... and no signs of crawling things. Customary coffee and toiletries were provided. Great selection of channels on the television. Room was in GREAT SHAPE... loved it. No noise from adjoining rooms or from the street/lane outside. In closing, I would recommend the Green Tree to a friend of family in a heart beat. I visit this hotel regularly for business. The cost isn't over-priced, and the overall rooms and upkeep is nice. Plus, breakfast is actually fairly tasty here. I've been to plenty of hotels, and the food here is better than about any of them I've stayed at.

We were in town for a college visit. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful even though she was by herself at the front desk. The hotel room was average. Clean, small but ok. It was appropriate for the price paid. Breakfast was good. People extremely friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay at this motel. It was very clean and the staff/owners went above and beyond to make us happy. We stayed three nights when our daughter was having her baby. The rooms are newly renovated and the owners/staff really care about their guests.

After scouring the map on the app for a balance of quality and pricing and convenience we settled on this place. It's really a 4 1/2 star but since the staff was so accommodating I'm rounding up. Mattress firm but not hard. The rooms have been renovated recently and were very clean. There was the standard breakfast variety which was great. The staff even let my dad fill up his thermos of coffee from their machine and reconfigured it so he could use it. The only issue we had was a very, very sticky door. We had a terrible time getting the door open. My husband had to shove it open (it took several swipes of the card and shouldering the door before he won) and ripped his knuckles open the frame in the process. There is a gap between the door and frame and it needs some adjusting. Good sleep and good breakfast. Glad I held out until I found this place. ??

I found my stay at this establishment was comfortable and really enjoyed the breakfast offerings and experience a few years ago when I stayed. I chose to stay again even though the rates were higher. Yet, was pleased to find the property had not only maintained comfort level and the great breakfast experience, but had been undergoing updates and remodeling. Staff was very attentive and I was pleased to be asked by management about our opinion of their accommodations with genuine interest.

First off the reason we chose this particular hotel is because they have cribs available. That is very convenient when you are only staying one night and have an infant. When we arrived a little early we were able to check in immediately and the crib was already in the room for us. The room is a little small but still there was enough room. I really like the look and layout of the hotel. The staff we encountered were all so nice and very helpful. There is breakfast available up until 9:30. They had a very nice variety of hot and cold food items as beverages. This will definitely be a place we stay at again when we are back in the area.

Situated with easy access and visibility along Interstate 65, this property is clean and well-kept. The staff is superb. The rooms are comfortable and clean. You will be within walking distance of a good number of restaurants and shopping areas.

We stayed here for three nights over Christmas while visiting family, and I enjoyed our stay so much that I didn't want to leave! The hotel is very clean and has been recently remodeled. Check-in was a breeze, and our daughter enjoyed cookies in the lobby while we watched the weather and waited for a hailstorm to pass over us. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we had plenty of space. We did make use of the microwave and refrigerator, and we were thankful to have them in our room (eating out for 5 days isn't reasonable). We noticed that we didn't have a place to hang our clothes (due to remodeling), but Denise in housekeeping worked quickly to get us a brand new armoire within 10 minutes! The manager stopped by as well to be sure that we had hangers and everything that we needed. Breakfast at this hotel is definitely the best free breakfast we've had. They offered eggs and sausage the first day, eggs, ham, and bacon on Christmas day, and eggs and bacon on our third day. There were also warm biscuits, waffles, pitchers of juices (rather than the machines), and all the regular continental breakfast fare. One thing I noticed about this hotel is that the staff were friendly with each other, and they talked and visited with each other as they were working; it sounds strange, but I've never seen hotel employees who seemed to enjoy their jobs like the ones at this hotel did. I appreciated how friendly everyone was to us and how they greeted us each time we passed. They also left little Christmas gift bags with bottled water and snacks in our room, which was sweet. The hotel is close to so many restaurants, the mall, and Walmart and Target. It's also just off I-65, so traveling to and from our relatives' home was easy. Drugstores are a little further away, but still within a reasonable distance. For excercise, I walked laps around the parking lot, but I felt safe. I did notice some couples walking/running down Broadway, so I assume it's a fairly safe area. Check-out was also very simple. We enjoyed our stay so much that we definitely plan to stay here again when we are in town again. If you're looking for an affordable, clean, comfortable, friendly place close to dining, shopping, and the interstate, the Best Western Greentree Inn is a perfect choice.

This is a pretty nice hotel. It is a good value for the cost. Breakfast is standard Best Western. I will probably stay here again depending on price when I am in the area again. I liked the free newspapers which are seldom offered now a days. Room was clean but if you looked hard you could find some spots that needed cleaning especially noticeable to tall people like myself. TV and internet were good. I would recommend if the price is right.

This was truly a rare find. The staff all friendly and helpful. The location close to anything you could need. The rooms recently renovated, exceptionally clean, and well furnished. They had a really good breakfast and a hostess named Jess that gave you such friendly service you felt at home. Also this hotel is pet friendly and they charged a modest price for my fury babies. I would highly recommend this location. What a wonderful pleasant clean friendly place.... I hope to visit again sometime.

After remodeling finished will be Excellent. New staff very good in trying! All staff very helpful. Need to remodel ice machine-drinks-laundry room! Very interesting buildings! Would definitely stay again when remodeling finished!

This hotel has some years on it but they do a good job of updating it. It appears that it has recently been remodeled to some extent. They were also painting and cleaning the outside of the buildings while we were there which also indicates, they keep up with their maintenance. The front desk staff was quite nice and very helpful. I had a problem when I first waked in the room and noticed the TV wold not turn on. I called the front desk and they actually were able to troubleshoot it over the phone and get the problem resolved. That doesn't happen very often. They are bike friendly and let us park in front which was much appreciated. The rooms were nice and the air conditioning was great! It could chill meat in the room. The breakfast was good and the breakfast area and staff were quit nice. One day they didn't clean my room for some reason. I left early and came back in the evening and nobody had done anything. Their WiFi is a joke. It's pretty much unusable, due to extreme slowness. This is a common problem in smaller hotels. It seems they don't have the staff or expertise to maintain the technical infrastructure. Overall, this hotel is a great bargain. I'm sue some hotels are nicer or fancier but they also cost more too. This is a good value for the money. It's nice, clean, friendly and has a convenient location.

Helpful friendly staff. Some construction going on, but not intrusive. The rooms I've stayed in at this property have been well taken care of & clean. Very good location. Did not use the breakfast on this visit, but in the past it has always been very good. This is a pet friendly hotel, so there may be dogs on the property.

Stayed at this site for 16 day's the house keeping personal are thieves head house keeper stole my prescription pain medication helped my wife carry in some extra stuff and took it right out of my coat pocket that was hanging on the back of the chair called the police to make a report and was thrown out as soon as the police left thought they were nice people but just shows that you can't judge a book by its cover would not recommend that place to my worst enemy

This motel is pretty average. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. The complementary breakfast could stand some improvement, but you can't do much with powdered eggs and sausage. The biscuits and gravy aren't very good either, but it's all free. They do have hot waffles, pastries and several juices & coffee. The main reason I like this motel is its location. I sometimes find it necessary to visit West Main Street in Louisville and this motel (although in a different state) is only 5 or 6 miles away. Very convenient.

save money by staying here and visiting louisville. Clean nice room. Great current rate due to remodel. convenient to places to eat and minutes to downtown louisville. would stay again. walls are very thin so noise can be an issue.

While our rooms were quite nice, don't rely on the managers to help you. There was a guy named ignatious who was a fast paced little indian man who was always yelling at some employee while we stayed there. Not being curtious of his guests, the man seemed to not care at all. There was another female there who also looked indian and she seemed to busy to answer questions when she was supposedly was the assistant manager while the general manager was not there. They were horrible, just horrible.

Both the interior and updated exteriors were outstanding.As of this time, they continue to update the guest rooms. The breakfast had all the usual items and the breakfast room itself was very inviting. Very pleasant experience for road weary travelers.

the girl at the front desk was very nice her name was tara and was she was friendly and nice everyone there was nice good food too eat around the hotel in walking and nice rooms clean and comfortable so if you need a nice place too stay truck in the shop are just pass by and need a place too sleep stop by and get a room there you will go back there

The ongoing remodel meant we had new room at old rates.Plus rooms on either side empty. Nice clean convenient location. It is close to many shops (grocery store. drug store, plus a good number of restaurant options.)

These hotel rooms open to the street, not an enclosed hallway. There is construction going on and the sidewalks were filthy dirty. We didn't have any water pressure or hot water in one room and they never fixed this during our stay.

we had 2 rooms and no complaints on either one. the rooms were clean. everyone treated us good. great breakfast.cant remember who worked at the front desk but she was very nice and helpful. nice location. the breakfast att Jess was great also.

I booked 5 rooms for 2 nights 1 month in advance by phone and they were so messed up when we arrived it took 3 hours to get things fixed. As of 5p.m. the day of check in they had not been cleaned. The owners sister was horribly rude to one of my family members. I have stayed at this hotel before without problems, however I wont again!

When we arrived on the furst evening, the clerk told us our room was full and they didn't have a room for us. After 20 minutes and a phone call at 1:00 in the morning, they figured out that our room was empty after all. This is 2 years of renovations. This visit, the room still needed painting (there are patch jobs on the walls); the bathroom tile is unfinished. The toilet seat is very flimsy and slides halfway off the toilet. The staff on duty were very sweet. When we asked to use the lobby to gather in and share drinks with family members they assured us that there was no problem. However, the owner's sister came in a half hour before the lobby was to close and was very rude to the staff because we were there. There was nothing posted about drinking and the lobby was supposed to be open until 11:00pm. On top of this, breakfast was disgusting. We have used this hotel because it was close to where my mother-in-law lives., but I will not be back.
