Best Western Central City

We were on a driving trip, and stayed in room 203 a few nights. It has two very comfortable queen beds and comfy pillows. We loved that there were real blankets on the beds, not those duvets that are often too warm and are an all-or-nothing option when trying to sleep. All the nice amenities you expect of a well-run BW property (we are fans of the brand, and members of the loyalty club): fridge, microwave, coffee/tea maker, iron/board, big work desk and ergo chair, good sitting chair, good bedside lights for reading. 3-drawer chest to stash your stuff. Nice sitting chair. Excellent housekeeping. The bathroom has a combination tub/shower. Nice vanity with room to spread out your stuff. Good towels, Nice toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion. Complimentary wifi and HVAC work well. Very good breakfast of hot and cold items, including a rotating menu of cheese omelettes and other egg items, sausage, biscuits & gravy, make-your-own waffle, etc. Cereals and breads. In a perfect world, there would be at least one cereal available that is not sweetened (even the Cheerios were "lightly sweetened.") Extra credit for the real half-and-half for coffee. Friendly, helpful staff throughout. So why not five dots? Really annoying: the TV system needs to be redone or replaced. Even when we first checked in, the staff had to show us how to reboot the system by diddling with something in the back of the screen. You had to do this EVERY time you turned on the TV. A paper guide to channels would also have been nice, rather than scrolling through the many channels to find your favorites. To their credit, there were a lot of channels. The bath tub/shower needs a grab bar. A hook on the wall in the bathroom for your robe or clothes would be nice. Two mornings they forgot to replace the coffee setups. The pool looked nice but was closed for some reason. We didn't want to use it, but I'm sure there might have been families who book this as an amenity for the kids. So - these issues are relatively minor (except the TV thing) and could be easily fixed. It's worth giving this place a try for a very comfortable room otherwise, good breakfast, and not far from the highway. A few good restaurants are not too far away.

I stayed for 2 nights and it was a great stay. I didn't use any of the amenities and I didn't eat their breakfast but the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was polite and cheerful. I would stay there again.

This is the second time we've stayed here. Both times were effortless and pleasant. Cynthia is a gem and made sure we were aware of the things to do and see. The rooms were comfy, quiet and clean. Central city is a fun little town especially if you're a John Prine and Everly Brothers fan!

Need to upgrade the mattress! If the jetted tub doesn't work, don't advertise it. Better yet get them out of the rooms! With a regular bathtub in the bathroom there is no need for these jetted tubs in the room.

We stay yearly for a family reunion weekend. Room was standing open and smelled awful when we arrived. Treated horribly by staff and actually threatened. We had a minor key issue that could have been handled way different than it was. I will never come back to this establishment there are other hotels for our family to support.

I highly recommend Best Western in Central City, KY. It had everything we needed, rooms were spacious and clean and offers breakfast. The only complaint was that the pool was closed. When it's 100 degrees outside, most would enjoy a nice swim. The convenience of having restaurants right there such as Huddle House was nice. Pizza, chicken, burgers and Mexican were also in walking distance. Highly recommended for Beaver Dam concert goers.

Was sad I couldn't give this hotel 0 stars. This was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. My hotel bed was covered in dirt and I was attacked by bugs. The hotel was extremely unprofessional and did not even refund me for my stay. DO NOT STAY HERE! Terrible/very dirty hotel.

I Gary Harlan an a friend was passing through on a hunting trip. We decided to stop for dinner then we had to find a room. I want to say the the Best Western in Central City is very clean an they have nice rooms. Cindy was on shift an she dose an excelent job. She mention these trip advisors an I think they need more than they get an a raise. I give her 5 stars an 5 more.

I was driving through Central City an decided to stop for the night I'm glad I pick Best Western which by the way has the best reviews. Cindy was very helpful in the directions that I needed for the following day . Its always nice to meet new people. The hotel is very clean an it doesnt smell of cigerette smoke . I do give her the 5 stars.

Very nice. Staff was exceptional. From the minute we walked in the door with Caitlyn to breakfast with miss Shirley. Cindy was helpful, as well with tub faucet when we thought we had a problem. These employees were so helpful and patient with all guest. We'll definitely stay here again on out next trip With the current employment status in the country, you need to make sure you reward you staff well. These people keep your company running smoothly and keeping your company afloat. Make sure to take good care of them and keep them working for you, not the other guy.

The breakfast was delicious, hot, coffee was kept to where guest had plenty and enough. Lady was so nice, helpful with waffle making. An outstanding, kind, so thoughtful of family being here because of Memorial, just being a service to help and know that we as a family needed to patiently be overlooked because at this time, we were not ourselves and so, she helped us and was patient with us, we were not ourself, and she stood and took the time and worked with us, because our minds were overwhelmed with the death of our loved one. I booked a room due to previous reviews and was not disappointed. The room was clean, the location easy to find, and FINALLY a good breakfast selection which I thought was gone forever post Covid. Staff did an excel job of answering any questions and taking care of everyone due to it being for a funeral. The staff did their best to help and care for us, but I believe they would've done so regardless of the situation. Jennifer made check in/out a breeze and Brittany J. had a great breakfast ready and continually supplied. I will definitely stay here again if the need arises.

My Name is Shannen Rogers I pulled in to Central City an was needed a room for the night . I stopped at one of the other Hotels but I was quick to change my mind .The hotel was not the cleanest. So I pulled into Best Western hoping that it was better than the first one I stopped at . YES it was the Best Western is very clean it smells clean an the young Lady Cindy at the front desk greeded me with a smile. She was quick on getting me a room an assured me it would be quite . Let me know what they offered anwas just what I needed so 5 STARS Cindy gets from me. Very nice lady.

A group of us recently stayed a the hotel for a friend's funeral. We were first greeted by Cindy who was so nice and delightful. She ensured all three rooms were right by each other. She asked if we needed anything and was very helpful. Sh enrolled us into the Best Western program. The next morning we met Shirley who was so sweet and made sure we had what we needed for breakfast. She was adorable. She was so friendly and talk to us about our travels. Everything was so clean. Our last day we met Jennifer the general manager. She was a rock star. There was ice overnight so she was running the front desk as well as ensuring breakfast items were available. She was so friendly. Great stay and great staff

I arrived on 1/18 just my self , I was here for work an I just want to say that Best Western has one of the nicest lady's working the front deck her name is Cindy she is such a sweat lady, very quick on getting me checked in.

Catrinia the desk clerk went out of her way to help us. I would recommend this hotel to anyone in need of one in this area. The breakfast staff was very nice as well, I do recommend some better items for someone that is in a hurry to carry and go item for breakfast.

My self Robert Hill an a buddy of mine was there at muhlenberg doing some dove hunting. We decided to spend the night instead of driving back to Tenn. I had called ahead of time just to ask if they had rooms vacant an the front desk lady was very nice an assured myself that she had one. We did not arrive till later that evening an was greeted with a lovely smile. I do have to say that this year was better than last so I would say big improvement on front deck employee. Cindy was a quick little spark on getting us checked in, the hotel is very clean, nice breakfast that we had. Cindy did very good on getting us ground floor so we could watch our dogs. I do give her 5 stars Id give her 10 if it would get her a raise I told her she deserved one.

The front desk girl Catrina was overly accommodating, friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and clean and the kitchen worker was very nice.would recommend this hotel stay. I have to say the staff makes this hotel stay.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Having Shirley serve me breakfast was the best part of this visit, she was so sweet and got me everything I needed! I'm typing the rest of this because there is a minimum character count.

Well me an a couple of my buddy's was on a hunting trip an the Best Western was our first stop . This is a very nice hotel it is clean the rooms smell clean the lobby is very nice. Miss Cindy was very nice she has a good personality an a pretty smile. She was a was quick on checking us in so 5 stars she does get from me Jason King.

I came to Best Western to stay so I could attend a funeral upon my arrival I was welcome with a smile , which is always pleasant. The front desk clerk Cindy was quick on getting me an my son checked in . She lets us know about the breakfast and assured us if we needed anything just ask . It is always a blessing in a time like this to meet someone nice and I do certainly give her 5 stars, she is a nice young lady.

Catrina is super helpful and not only her but all of the staff . Thouroughly enjoyed my stay , everything is clean and doesn't fall short . The lady who ran the breakfast named Shirley is the sweetest lady ever, she always made sure to get me what I wanted and she's so respectful and amazing. The rooms were clean and we had a lot of towels and it's very spacey! I love the lighting in the room as well!

Great hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff. All of our needs were met, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure that the breakfast was fully stocked for my group of 30 people. They had our rooms ready for our late arrive with no problems at all.

Upon my arrival I was greeted by the front desk clerk Cindy, she was a delight very nice an that means alot when someone like myself is on the road all the time . She was quick on \\getting me checked in an she let me know of all that the motel offer. I will deffently return to stay again. Yes i give her a 5 star rating .

I work with Jennifer, the general manager, almost daily to reserve rooms for several different people. She gets back with me very quickly and always goes above & beyond to help me with everything I need!

Cindi is so wonderful!! She went above and beyond to help us with our room. Very clean hotel and very comfortable beds. Lots of pillows! Breakfast was really good and we are looking forward to coming back again!!

Very friendly staff always willing to help! You can tell they take pride in their job. Any time we needed something the girls were always willing to help with a smile on their face! Jenn and Shirley especially stood out!

Called today to book due to being in town for a funeral. Needed adjoining rooms and since it had been a long time since I had lived there and had forgotten about hunting season and there weren't many rooms left. Jennifer was such a sweetheart and juggled things until she got me exactly what I needed. I have lived in the city too long, forgot what southern hospitality felt like. Jennifer Beliles, the GM, was bery polite and helpful. She, and her entire staff, made our three week stay pleasant and comfortable. The rooms are cleaned daily and the lobby is a nice place to meet. Highly recommend in the Central City area.

Clean room and friendly staff. Found me a room when they were really busy and trying hard to find a room on a night when they are currently fully booked. Well located in the city, just off the main road and easy to find.

Come in every week to a clean room done by some very good housekeepers. Most of the time the check in is done by Caylynn. It is always quick and easy. Will always choose to stay here. Best hotel in town.

We were in search of a room at 11:15pm on 10/7/022 and all rooms in Central City were booked due to an event this werkend. Karen at the front ddesk was incredibly helpful and actually walked to our vehicle to let us know of an eary departure at MN. We ate at the restaurant next door and waited for the room to be cleaned. She absolutely showed us great customer service & was the best of Best Western last night! Thank you Karen!!

Karen the front desk lady was the friendly and professional the rooms was clean and was at a comfortable temperature to suit everyone it also have restaurants with in walking distance huddle house it basically in the same parking lot and a Mexican restaurant two lots down

This hotel was a good find after a long day/night of driving. It was clean and the staff was very friendly, Karen did an excellent job at making me feel welcome. It's also in a convenient location with Huddle House sharing the same parking lot. Nice retreat for the weary traveler!

There is a reason this hotel is booked up a lot of the time. I tried to check in last week however they were full. So today, I stopped by as I was working in the area, to see if they had any availability-they did not. So, I spoke with Jennifer the GM (spectacular customer service/people skills and a positive attitude) and explained I would be working in Central City for the rest of the day, and if any rooms became available to let me know, I was SO surprised, about an hour later she had a cancellation. WOW! Such spectacular hospitality and kindness. Cindy checked me in and assisted me later in the evening to make sure there was fresh brewed coffee! This hotel is not the cheapest, for a reason---the room was clean, the staff is friendly, the breakfast was great and next time I am in town I will be sure to stay here.

Was on the way home to Florida and stopped for a night at the Best Western in Central City, KY. J.B., working the front desk, was very kind and helpful in recommending a good and fast place to grab a meal before getting some much needed sleep in a very comfortable room!

My family and I were heading home from Memphis and needed to stop for the night to get some rest. We found BW and thankfully they had a cancellation for the night. The rooms were spacious and the shower pressure was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially Jennifer and Shirley. Jennifer, who works the front desk, was awesome and went out of her way to help us with things outside of the hotel. While Shirley made sure the breakfast area was always clean and stocked. Definitely would recommend!

I was traveling to Central City, Kentucky from Sacramento, California for a funeral. It had been a long travel day to say the least. I pulled into the Best Western at 1am with no reservation. Karen, the night front desk person, took pity on me and told me that while there were no rooms available, she did have a guest leave early and if I could give her 30-minutes, she would clean the room for me. Wow! She certainly didn't have to do that, especially at 1 in the morning! I am very appreciative of her kindness and consideration. This hotel is very lucky to have an employee like Karen.

We were just passing through the area after going to Dinner in the Blooms at Utica.. We are a couple hours from home, we had the pleasure of getting to check in with Karen come to find out she was originally from our area. Jennifer, I believe she is the manager, was great when I booked the room; she told me about things going on in the area along with a few good restaurants to visit. She helped us get a nice discount for my husband being in the military.

This was our 2nd stay at the Best Western in Central City and it was by the best hotel in the area. We will definitely be using them again for our future trips. The staff were always friendly and professional, our check in and out was quick easy.

Clean Room, Good Service and Fair price. Great, Safe parking. Loved that food area was on second floor where our room was. Located just off the highway and that was convenient, too. Offers Senior Discounts, AAA and other discounts.

The manager was extremely accommodating, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and they all came through for us in a way that shows their excellence. They got us enrolled in Best Western programs, they gave us spot on food recommendations around town, and made staying at Best Western in Central City, a no brainer.

Great atmosphere wonderful hospitality ,Jenn front desk was so helpful ,Ryan Parker maint.was great at fixing our sink Sarah housekeeping supervisor was so funny and very freindly and very helpful throughout our stay this hotel was by far the cleanest and serving the best breakfast every morning.

This hotel was everything I paid for and more. I reserved a group reservation here for myself and several co workers. It was all you could expect for a small town hotel. Friendly and very accommodating.

The Staff was very helpful and friendly, especially the front desk attendant Jenn. The rooms were nice and clean. The pool was closed but so were the other hotel pools nearby. Overall, it was a great deal.

I chose this hotel due to no smoking mostly. The elevator was a plus. Having the various amenities was nice. Again very pleased. The breakfast bar was kept nice and clean. The sweet lady, Tara, was a delight to talk to. We will return when visiting family.

We stayed June 2022 & had a very pleasant stay. Room was clean, everything functioned as designed, the location was near the traveling essentials -- restaurants & gas stations! Breakfast started at 05:30, which was a great fit for our travel plans. Staff was helpful & kindhearted.

This is my home away from home , I live in Indy, and have family in Ky and Tn , so this is where I stop often. Jen (front desk) and Brittany ( manager) are the best !!! They are always helpful.The hotel is always clean and comfortable Breakfast is good too.

Service and staff does a great job to make thier guest feel right at home. This hotel has an outstanding breakfast selection and a beautiful dining area overlooking the pool. The Rooms are very neat and spacious. Showers are hot everyday.

My room was comfortable & clean. The staff here were very friendly & accommodating. I enjoyed the free Wi-Fi & the coffee was fresh each morning. A hot Breakfast was served each morning too. I really enjoyed the convenience of fresh coffee being available on both the 1st & 2nd floor.

Room was very clean staff was attentive and extremely nice. Location to sights, restaurants and major highways. Breakfast was good and very good selection of and variety. Overall our stay was very good experience.

This hotel has a great combo, it has a very convenient location , super accessible a couple of gas stations, KFC and a Mexican restaurant within walking distance and also has a well rounded breakfast service that starts at 530am. So if your looking to maximize your dollar and need to leave early for projects this is the place. The staff is very attentive and always willing to accommodate your request. The manager Brittany is a darling , very professional as well as the rest of the staff.

This hotel is great I stay there once a week every week for work never had any issues it's clean and the desk clerk calynn does an amazing job always greets me with a smiling face and great attitude always makes sure there fresh coffee made for me because I leave before breakfast most of the time

The staff here is phenomenal!! Tara, love you girl!! We were in town for a music festival, they ha does the bands very well!! We will def be back!!! Thank you a million for everything!! Best hotel staff I have ever encountered!!

The girl who checked us in, Catrina, was lovely and professional. The location convenient. The room was very dirty. Hand towel had a yellow stain, bed cover was stained, there were stains on the mattress and rust stains on the bathroom door surround. Considering the condition of our room, we're shocked at the cost.

Hotel was very clean & employees were nice & efficient. It was easy to find, right by the highway. They have soda & water machines, which were not full, but had a variety of drinks. They also had snack machines. We did not partake of the breakfast. We slept in both mornings.. We stayed on the 2nd floor ,but the ice machine was on the 1st floor. They do have an elevator which made it easier to get the ice and to take luggage to the room and to our vehicle when we left.

We stayed here for 6 days while attending a funeral. Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. We chose not to have our room cleaned each day and exchanged our towels for fresh nice smelling ones daily. We are TV addicts and the TV channels and reception was great. Great Mexican restaurant next door. Great Chinese buffet just a short distance away.

Easy location, nice hotel, great beds! We visited family in Greenville and stayed here due to proximity. Food very close, a/c very quiet and works great. Staff friendly, clean rooms, just a few nicks on furniture but overall would stay again!

We pulled in late on our road trip. Conveniently located off the highway. Tammy the night manager was very helpful, setting us up with a rollaway. Comfy beds and pillows. Would stay there again if in the area.

This is the only hotel I will stay at in central city. It's conveniently off the highway, has a pool and gym, the rooms are very clean and you cant beat the hospitality of the staff. They are super accommodating and friendly.

Hotel rooms smelled like smoke. Was moved from one into another that only smelled slightly better than the first. Staff here are poorly trained and rude. We were cheated out of $100 in Travel Rewards because the staff did not know how to use them and refused to ask for help. I asked to speak to the manager and left my phone number on 2 occasions. We were denied access to her, was told she needed her sleep, and a week after we left from this hotel I still have not heard from the manager nor been given credit for my Rewards cards. It is one thing not to know how to do something, but it is another all together to refuse to ask for help. I had even given them the corporate number I was told to give them for assistance because they said they didn't have it and yet they still wouldn't call.

This hotel wreaked of cigarette smoking, people where actively smoking in adjoining rooms. I tried sealing the door of our room without much success. Stayed 3 nights and they never would stock toiletries. Water pressure was terrible. If someone in adjoining room was using water at the same time you could forget trying to use it. Overall things where in need of repair.

The bath tub was stain or just not ever cleaned on the bottom. Decor was outdated. Matress was old with a cover on it that looked newer. Bed was uncomfortable. It was quiet. Breakfast not much to it, very minimal eggs, cold cereal if you wanted that, they had biscuts and gravy but I eat that not much fuit to choose from

Clean, comfortable, and convenient with friendly service. Free breakfast is not so good with dry eggs and watery oatmeal but remember that it's free. For the area, the place seems to be the best around. We would stay there again.

Everyone was very helpful. Very clean and quiet. The front desk helped us with anything we needed. Every morning bags of snacks were put out for the guest. Coffee was available anytime also bottled water and fresh fruit. We will be back!

Every thing from reservation to check out was great. The room and bed were top notch. The staff were friendly and helpful. The omelets could have been warmer. The coffee was hot and great. The grounds were well maintained. The parking lot was clean and well lit.

Everything about our stay was excellent. The room, the staff, the breakfast (loved the seating area!). We stayed August 9-12 and every night came back exhausted. The comfortable beds were perfect!! Thank you!

You can pay attention to all the glowing satisfied reviews if you want to but the TRUTH is that this hotel is infested with bed bugs. My wife and I were bitten several times during the night, resulting in significant swelling and itching. I found a live bed bug in the bed, in the morning. The hotel needs to be closed. This level of uncleanliness is a shame!

Check in went very smooth. Clerk was very helpful with getting our rooms close to family when reserved separately. We did have to switch our first room as the air did not work, but that process went great. The breakfast was very good also. NO Complaints

Great staff who take pride in their work and the property. We were in town for a John Prine concert and the staff are a good reflection of the friendly people in town, quite worthy of Mr Prine's admiration.

It has now taken me three days to try and clear up the bug bites on my legs And I finally found some of the bugs in the bag that I had left on the floor at this hotel. I called the front desk and all they said was oh we're sorry will get that taken care of they failed to ask any questions about who we were when we stayed there and quite honestly if they even cared. Now the staff when I checked in was amazing.

My husband and I were on our way home from vacation and stopped here for the night. It was definitely a great choice! The staff was very nice and friendly. The room was clean and updated. The breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip and this was night 7 at a different hotel! Definitely would recommend!

The hotel is a little older, but very clean, good water pressure for hot showers, beds were comfortable and excellent staff. You can't get much better than that when sleeping away from home. Oh and my grandson loved the pillows for our pillow fight!

Tammy at the front desk was great, she made checking in and out easy. She gave us a room steps away from the pool which was also clean and nice. I asked for a rollaway bed and she had it to me in minutes. Loved the coffee and we had a good stay in visiting family. I always miss my home KY and it felt like home. :)

I stopped in for the weekend for some family business. This hotel is one of the nicest ones I have been to in a while. Its conveniently right off the highway and has quite a few restaurants right down the road. My room was comfy and quiet. Front desk clerk and I had a good laugh about his name, King Arthur. He was awesome. He got me in a room and pointed me the direction of "whatever I wanted" to eat. I didn't know there was so many choices here. You have my business anytime I am in Kentucky.

My family is staying this weekend at the best western in central city and the people so far have been so amazing. JB checked us in. She answered all our questions & was so sweet. The housekeeping is just wonderful. We spoke for a while to one lady this afternoon but didn't catch her name. We always stay at best western and will continue to do so.

I had the pleasure of stopping through Central City, Kentucky and stayed here at Best Western. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The night shift guy sings on his shift. I think his name was Arther. He was very helpful as I ran into him numerous times throughout the night. A remarkable place to get away from it all. 5 stars from me. Excellent.

i have been here the last four weeks and have two/three weeks left. I am very satisfied. The rooms are comfortable and the bed is just right. The breakfast is very good. Joyce has been very helpful l and is very friendly. Others I'd like to mention are Tammy and Authur. Really helpful and friendly. Huddle House and Pizza Hut are right next door. El Bracero is a good Mexican restaurant and it's next to the car wash beside the hotel. Walking distance to all three of those restaurants. Manzo's is another good place if your prefer Italian. You afe also close to the fast food places ( McDonald's, Wendy's and Arby's )

I had the pleasure of visiting this property on recent business in the Central City area. I really felt as though I was coming home. The staff, particularly Tammy, were very accommodating and went out of their way to make my stay extremely enjoyable. For the price you pay you certainly get more bang for the buck. I look forward to staying at this property again

I travel a lot and this hotel was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. It was not clean. It was very out of date and the only positive thing was the refrigerator. I was extremely dissatisfied with the service and the price tag that came along with it. The front staff stood around talking for 10 minutes before offering to check me in.

I want to refute the review by William H. in January 2019 blaming drunken TVA workers for assaulting him! I work for TVA and have stayed at this hotel almost every weeknight for the past two years while working on a project at Paradise Fossil Plant. I know for a fact that these men were not TVA employees nor were they TVA contractors. They were from Iowa and working somewhere other than a TVA facility. I resent the implication that TVA employees would act this way! This hotel is a very safe, quiet, clean place to stay and I want travelers reading these reviews to know that they will enjoy their stay.

1 Day before my birthday I was passing through working trip. Checked in and was going to sleep around 9pm and a bunch of noise in the hall. Called the clerk she said she take care of it. Noise kept on called again clerk said she move them or ask them to leave. They left an I went to sleep had to be up by 6.00am. At 1.00 am was woke up and yelling and beating on the walls basically a drunken party in the hallway at 1.00 and called the front desk was told by night clerk that he wasn't going down there and for me to tell them to be quiet. so I yelled out the door to be quiet and I was trying to sleep. They cursed and told me to open the door. I oped the door and stepped outside and it closed behind me and locked.I was immediately surrounded by 6 drunk TVA workers some with beer in hand.one started to push up against me and I shoved him away. I was grabbed from behind and in aheadlock trying to choke me to sleep whilt he other men started hitting me in the face back of the head etc..... The night desk clerk came and they told him to stay out of it and he left and called the police. I managed to stay on my feet and about 30 minutes the police showed up and threw at least one on the ground in cuffs. I went to t hte emergency room Bruised neck and a large knot on my head. Went back to hotel and was told they were leaving . I had to stay another night I couldnt drive the next day. Was surprised they were still there and was told that I started it.???Because one of them video it about half eay into a45 minute me trying to stay alive agaist 6 guys?/ Coveniently there newer looking cameras at both end of the hallway that it happened in wasn't working. 1. I am 51 years old and I don't get out of bed at 1.00am to pick a fight with 6 drunk guys half my age. 2. The fact is TVa books 6 or 8 rooms a night from this motel (9 this particular night I was told) So basically My safety was overidden by the money that they take in from there TVA workers. this is a dangerous place. Glad it was me and not a women.the really bad is that they charged me for the the night that it happened. However they gave me the next night for free but Rhonda took the time to inform me that she didn't have to. (Thanks so much) Ole by the way there is a police report and I have the emergency room report. And ole yea the police got there when 6 guys where all all over 1 guy. So I'm trying to decide whether i'm gonna sue the crap out of Best Western Know any lawyers in Central City KY??????

I travel here occasionally for business. The hotel is very clean and all my visits have accompanied exceptional customer service. Breakfast if more than sufficient for a free breakfast and includes waffles, cereals, toast, muffins, as well as hot eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, and potatoes. They have yogurt, milk, orange juice, fruit, and other small necessary items. Rooms are generously sized and are very clean. Check in and out is always very simple. Coffee and a smile to go.

seems like a nice place. overall hotel was good and clean. majority of the workers were very helpful and nice. we had only one negative experience with the hotel front desk person who if it was me I would have 1 long talk with her and anything after that I would remove her from employment there.

I am working on a long term project in this area and have stayed here every week for several months. It is very clean and the staff is very friendly. They make you feel like you're at home and go out of their way to ensure your stay is the best it can be.

I arrived in July on official Government travel orders. My room's A/C didn't work, and the maintenance tech couldn't get it working. Front desk informed me that they were booked and didn't have another room. I asked to have my room canceled because there was a vacancy at the Super 8 next door. Desk clerk told me their system was down, but "not to worry" because she took care of me. Fast forward to the end of the billing cycle for my travel card and Best Western charged me for the entire 6 nights. I've called 7 times and speak with someone named Stephanie who tells me her manager is on the phone or in a meeting and that she'll leave her a note with the situation and ask her to call me back. It's now 3 months later and I still haven't received a single call or penny back from my out-of-pocket $300. From what I could discover one, it looks like the same personanager this hotel and the Super 8 where I ended up staying after the Best Western didn't have a room. This is unacceptable customer service and, at a personal level, is tantamount to stealing my money.

The hotel is clean, the room is large and comfortable and it's pretty quiet. The parking lot is free. The fridge and freezer are good sized. The free breakfast is very good. The shower is good. It's also a non-smoking hotel, which isn't the case at most hotels around there.

I stopped in for a break before getting back on the road. This hotel was nice and quiet. The room was very comfortable. I met a lovely man, Arthur, who was so nice and made me feel at home. His spiritual music was refreshing.

When we arrived at the hotel we were told that we only had reserved on night. I had requested two nights. Thankfully Shani was on duty. Even though the hotel was booked she got us both nights. Always get a confirmation.

Stayed one night on our way up the Maine Coast. Not fancy, but clean and the management was very nice. Small breakfast with sitting area outside. Not downtown, but a short drive to the action. I would stay again. I would advise others to stay if your looking for a moderate price place to stay.

We always stay in Best Western whenever we travel because we have come to rely on them for great stays. We had traveled for six hours after working all day and arrived around 11:30pm and was very tired. The air conditioner made a loud noise every time it shut off and would wake us up constantly so needless to stay not much sleep. The front desk was very polite. The place was very clean. There was no road noise which is a plus. We was just a tad bit disappointed in the stay.

If you are visiting this area or just need to layover while traveling this is a great place to stay. Clean rooms and very friendly staff await you. I stay here every week for business and the staff are like family.

That make a difference in a good vs a great stay. My family had to stay here due to an unexpected family emergency. We had 2 rooms booked and while my husband was supposed to make sure we were close there must have been mishap of some sort because when we got there we were already checked in and on opposite floors. Which was upsetting because we had our 4 children and ourselves. I didn't want us separated. The girl working(I believe named JB)was able to thankfully fix the issue. She also bought us extra towels and toiletries when we asked. We had a nice conversation with one of the housekeepers, wish I had gotten her name. The rooms were very clean. Hate that we didn't have time to enjoy the pool. We are in town again staying with family but if we stay longer then expected, we will be making a reservation at Best Western.

I have stayed at this BW on and off since December 2017 for business (more than 30 days total). The rooms are clean and comfy. The location is close to the freeway for easy access. There are several restaurants within walking distance, even a Huddle house in the parking lot. The staff is super friendly and helpful, especially Shandi helping me though several bookings and re-booking

Recently remodeled. Elevator added. New Furnishings, tile, and carpet. Mrs. Shirley does an excellent job as rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. Great variety at breakfast. Indoor pool and exercise room. Joyce the General Manager goes out of her way to make sure you have an excellent stay.

I'm not one to leave reviews often but I can honestly say that in all my years of being a truck driver my job has taken me all over the US needless to say I have logged a lot of miles and stays in hotels. I have always 99% of the time had good stays and experiences but there is always that one time that one visit or in my case attempted visit. I'm an hour outside of this town central city KY I'm at a rest stop preparing for an over night stay and google local hotels and the first one I call is best western. The young lady answering the phone identifies herself as Megan. I immediately smiled because my daughters name happens to be Megan. Trust me smile didn't last long. This person (Megan) had to be the rudest most hateful person I have ever spoken to. She was very hateful and seemed annoyed that I even called. I introduced myself as Troy and told her I was a truck driver and an hour out from her hotel got the hotel from Google. I asked if there were any vacancies and how much the rates where. She replied with a very smart and sarcastic tone asking well did you not see the price our rates are on the web site. I told her I'm sorry I must have not seen it to which she replied well it's listed on the site. I was horrified how hateful she was but still asked if there were any vacancies when she told me no in a very hateful manner. I asked if she knew of anywhere in the town of another good hotel to stay and again she said no very hatefully and hung up. I was appalled that someone who works for such a large chain could be so hateful. The longer I drove the more I thought of stopping by this hotel to meet this person who clearly has anger issues and no customer service skills. To my better judgment I found it best to just leave this review and most likely at some point contact the corporate office and inform them of this experience. I can honestly say I will never stay at a best western or any of its affiliates! they have lost my business and I plan to pass the word around to my local truckers.

Stayed here while visiting family in town. Room was excellently cleaned. Bed was very comfortable, sometimes that's not a given with hotels. Staff was very kind, “JB” had to help us with the tv at a late hour. Breakfast was good. Staff and housekeepers were very personable. Will stay here again for sure.

I stayed here while working in the area for a extended period. The rooms are clean and the overall hotel well kept. The staff are friendly and helpful, most notably Shandi who seems to always be there. I will definitely be staying here again when my travels bring me to the area.

Meagan was fantastic with all my questions. We didn't know the area at all and she made sure to explain in detail how to get to everywhere we asked and then some. This was the best hotel plus best western we have ever stayed at.

I stay here 2 nights a week with my job and Joyce and her friendly staff go out of their way to make sure that my stay is as pleasant as possible. They see the pizza truck go by the office and by the time I arrive at the front desk the form is ready to be signed and I have the card key in hand. Nice clean room and helpful staff, free breakfast starts at 5:30am. one thing is you need to sign in to WIFI every day, and the Cable reception was pretty spotty at best. I stayed at Days inn last time and this is much cleaner! All in all good value.

I didn't receive the usual express checkout bill so stopped by the front desk for a copy on my way out. A mystery $30 room charge had been added to my bill. The clueless and sulky clerk at check out could not explain it, claimed she couldn't remove it and also claimed she had tried to contact her manager, who was at another location. She wanted me to just accept the charge! As soon as I called Best Western customer service, the manager was located and approved removing the charge. It then took a lot of time (and put-upon sighs from the clerk) to eliminate the charge. All together, it added a 20 minutes delay to my morning. I don't know if this was an honest mistake compounded by an inept receptionist or a deliberate ploy by the hotel. Doesn't matter because I won't be staying here again. If you do, be sure to get a printed bill and check it closely.

I have stayed at this Hotel for a long time. In the past few months the customer satisfaction has left the building. New people are here and not very inviting as well as under new management. None of crew will be staying at this exit any longer. All the Hotels are owned by the same people and they are all the same. I hate that this has happened but cleanliness and friendliness means a lot. Where did it all go...

This was my first experience staying at a Best Western was an awesome experiance and i definitely will be trying out other best westerns in the near future. I was met by I believe the GM Joyce was super nice and and very informative of the area. She is what every hotel manager should be. Very knowledgeable of the area and things around the area to do. The room its self seemed to me as if was just built very clean and very nice. The staff was very professional and was greeted each and every time i walked into the lobby. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to others.

I have stayed at this hotel every week for over a year for work. In the last few months it has drastically declined ( under new management ). The front desk clerk's are very unprofessional, the rooms are hardly ever clean, and the breakfast each morning is a disaster. They have been making improvements over the last few weeks and the construction dust is horrible. No one apologizes for the dust that covers the entire lobby and surrounding rooms, or the noise. Unfortunately the two surrounding hotels are all owned by the same owner and they are not any better. After staying here for a year we will drive 40 minutes either to Madisonville or Bowling Green for work.

Checked in on line room and key cards were ready when we arrived.Staff were nice and helpful. Hotel and lobby appearance were clean and nice. Rooms were clean and up to date, overall was a good stay.Staff Cierra and Meagon were very nice and very helpful

No wake up call and sleep was sporadic due to loud noises of the doors being slammed shut and kids...I could hear the smokers out front talking. Breakfast bar ran out of food and after waiting 10 minuites to address issues with management i had to leave due to time crunch because my wake up call was never received so I over slept. No extra time to wait around.

Clean, great location, easy to get on the highway. My favorite place to stay when in town. Happy to see the elevator in and a laundry room for people who stay there awhile. Just wish they had a hot tub :-( well maybe eventually they can get to that. :-)

One of the most important things you will ever need while staying out of town away from the comforts of your home is having warm and friendly customer service. This Best Western has it with not just one staff member but with all of them. They go out of their way to treat you like family. The hotel is clean, updated, and has ever thing you need. Carla is wonderful, warm, and kind. She works really hard to make sure that you are well taken care of. If there is ever a problem, she makes it right immediately. They also have a good variety of food for breakfast and it is really good. All of the staff should be congratulated for a job well done. I travel a lot and stay at a variety of hotel chains in many states each year. The staff members here are unlike any hotel I have ever visited.

The staff makes this hotel an exceptional place to stay. Staff is friendlier and more helpful than any hotel I have ever stayed at. From the time you check in they will make you feel like family. Carla even shared her home cooked green bean recipe with my wife. Rooms are always very clean, beds are comfortable, wonderful selection of breakfast foods, eggs, bacon or sausage, potatoes, biscuits, gravy, waffles, variety of cereals, oatmeal, etc. Indoor pool, and small exercise room. I guarantee you will not be disappointed staying at this Best Western.

A little billing snafu the first night settled instantly next morning. The staff was excellent and left a sympathy card because we were attending a funeral. Room was very nice. Heat in pool did not work so did not swim. Breakfast was good.

We always stay here when we are passing through. These ladies never fail us. Customer service is, always the best. Angela always welcomes us and knows us by name. This Hotel is ran so efficiently and they make you feel like family, always our choice.

This is my favorite 'home away from home' - the front desk ladies are terrific, the food is good, the rooms are nice and clean, TV and WIFI works great, it's in a great location, several restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance and is right off the interstate. Only negative is the beds are too firm for my taste, but some prefer that, so it is a small inconvenience for a great value and overnight experience. Will always stay here if rooms are available!

Stopped 2 nights at this BW a gem of a Hotel, great hot breakfast very courteous staff, nice indoor pool and fitness room, all in all a well run hotel and great value for money. Not a big downtown area but the visitor centre with it's Everly Brothers, plus Rockabilly artist Billy Harlan memorabilia is well worth a visit.

Clean room, great service and complimentary breakfast! Will be using again in the coming months. Accommodations were very comfortable. Front Desk staff were friendly as were the room staff. Overall a very pleasant stay.

I am a Best Western preferred customer member and I wish that the hotel provided for us had been a Best Western not the Sherston in Lexington. We travel & deploy a lot with the American Red Cross and I have yet to encounter a Best Western room that was not ideal. The beds are comfortable, rooms clean, staff is professional and friendly. Coffee & tea are provided, nice selection of T.V. programmimg, lots of variety for breakfast and it is a good value. I enjoy that I receive bonus points toward a complimentary stay in the future. The value is good and the price is excellent. I have stayed in Best Western hotels all over the country for only the last 33 years, though! I absolutely will go to the next town to stay at a Best Western Hotel!!!!!!

If I ever come to this part of Kentucky, I will NOT stay at this hotel, the employees didn't know how to solve problems or seemed too busy to help with issues. The night shift person was more interested in studying. The food was cold and gravy was lumpy, bacon wasn't fully cooked. .

Shirley, Carla and the front desk lady the afternoon before were the best. So friendly and helpful. Wish all hotels had this down home attitude. I would recommend a stay in Central City. Thanks for a great stop. Attended a wedding at Country Plantation in Greenville.

Very welcoming, great amenities, will stay there again. Kayla, Jackie and Jennifer made me feel right at home. Express checkout is very convenient for oddball hour departures and a great feature. Excellent breakfast or grab and go bags.

The staff is really nice, hotel is clean and has been remodelled. Has a great breakfast selection from cereal to biscuits and gravy. The room was nice, clean and beds were comfortable. Definitely will stay here again when I'm in the area.

Best Hotel in Central City. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. Vety clean room, bathroom, etc. They have a wonderful selection of foods for breakfast, very attentive to breakfast area in the mornings keeping food fresh and area clean.

I would never recommend a single women stay here alone. I should have cancelled my visit as soon as I got there. When I went to check in, the entrance to the facility was blocked by multiple men sitting on cases of beer drinking. At check in the employee would not get off the phone with her family member to check me. I was finally given my room key, the room itself was clean and comfortable, but the entire night all you hear is screaming and banging and the drunks out front partying. I couldn't take it anymore so I went to the front desk to report them, only to find the front desk attendant outside partying with them. I ended my trip early after I came back from work on Thursday and another front desk attendant was outside smoking with the same men, and the one man asked me for money and I told him no and he told me that he knew where I was staying. I immediately packed my things and left.

I always stay here when working at Paradise Fossil Plant. The rates are reasonable, the hotel is clean, and conveniently located. I honestly believe this is the nicest hotel in Central City. It is located next to one of the best restaurants in town.

The front desk attendant Angela will make you feel very welcome!! As long as she's there you have nothing to worry about!!!! I didn't incur any problems while she was on duty. It's a nice and clean hotel.

Over all this place was amazing I recommend it.staff was very helpful and nice from the time you walked in to the time you checked out. Mexican restaurant next door amazing food. The continetle breakfast is amazing a variety to choose from waffles were amazing an you make them your self which was great. Over give this place a 10. And would stay again if ever in central city again.

I have stayed at all of these hotels and this one is top notch. Love the remodeling they are doing, and the staffis phenomenal. The Management ladies, Jackie, and Angela definitely are on cue. They are always there. Wonder if they sleep. This is my choice.

The building is looking good with the updates. The staff is always pleasant. I love staying there when I am in town. With good food real close by, it all makes this real convenient to stay there. I love this place, so will you.

We had lots of family and friends staying due to my sons wedding and the service was great! Carla, at the front desk was so accommodating and kind. She went above and beyond to make everyone's stay special. Thank you all for doing such a great job of Hospitality!

We attended a wedding and were greatly surprised at how good the hotel was. A quiet night, comfortable room and the staff very helpful. Two rooms were having a problem that needed attention. The lady at the desk made sure it was resolved. We would return.

It was a very good choice on this exit. Love what they are doing on the inside. Great variety of items for breakfast. The staff are always inviting and make you feel welcome and like you are at home. Love visiting with Angela will always stay here when traveling through.

I highly recommend this hotel for a stay. Customer Service was excellent. Room was a very nice size, clean with all working amenities. Complimentary breakfast was surprisingly full with warm and cold options.

Stayed here on our way to Maryland and then again a week later returning to Missouri. Stayed the 2nd time because we had a good experience the 1st time. Clean rooms and very pleasant staff. Angela at front desk was a doll.

Came to the area to work. My office made my reservation. I was very surprised when I arrived to see such a nice Hotel. Staff is great. Angela was such a pleasant person went out of her way to give me directional information information needed. I will definitely be back.

We were just passing through on our way home and decided to stay to rest. They showed us a room and we were sold then. The staff here are very willing to make your stay a good one. Breakfast area was a little small and crowded but what they had to offer was great. We will stay here again on our next trip through. Great job to all employee"s.

The Staff starting with Management, say alot about the choice we make when we travel. This is our second time here and we absolutely love them. Thanks Jackie for all you do for your stff and your guest, it shows. the pride they take in their jobs shows always willing to talk as make sure we have what we need. We had car trouble and the maintenance man came to the parkway to help us get to the motel. Can i say AWESOME!!!!!! We sure hope this helps others to use this site, it did us!!!

I stayed at this hotel the week of 9/12/16 while on business. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. All of the employees I encountered from the front desk to the housekeeping staff were friendly. Carla & Angela in particular took exceptional care of me! Very nice clean place. Staff was very nice also. Have made many improvements since last visit. Very good breakfast options. Restaurants within walking distance. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Nice location as well. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Very friendly staff and room was great! Breakfast area was clean & good. Staff was very helpful with directions to restaurants. Wi-Fi was strong in our room. Like the dispensers in the shower much easier to use. I will for sure be looking for another Best Western at my next hotel stay!

We stay here every time we are in the area. What we have noticed is that Jackie the Manager has the same staff, this says a lot about this place. The whole staff make you feel at home and engage with you. The upgrades are great, they have come along way from last year. Breakfast could be in a bigger area, but that doesn't keep us away.

I stayed at this property for 3 months while in town for business. The staff and physical appearance of the property was very good. I would recommend this hotel. The staff was always wiling to go the extra mile to help out and make my stay as comfortable as possible.

We had an overnight stay at the Best Western Hotel in Central City, KY. We were treated very kindly by the General Manager Jackie Meadors and her staff. The rooms were very clean with very comfortable beds. We had a great breakfast the next morning including biscuits and gravy and much more. The staff was great and made our stay very pleasant.

We enjoyed the wonderful staff and hospitality at this hotel. They were responsive and engaging. The rooms were clean and cool. Given the heat outdoors, that was lovely. I forgot something and the staff called me and mailed it to me. Outstanding thoughtful service. Stay here, they will treat you right.

Our family recently visited the Best Western, Central City, KY in July. It was a very a very nice place to stay. I want to compliment the staff especially Ms. Shirley, she was so nice and helpful to our family she just wanted to be sure we were taken care of during our stay.

Friendly staff, great service, 5 star rating ! Would go there again ! We had nice cars so they let us park right in front of our room so we could check on them . The rooms were clean and the bus were very comfortable. We used 5 rooms all together and each one was clean with no problems.

Angela greeted us on our arrival, group of 10 using 5 rooms. She was well organized and checked us in efficiently. The lobby was spacious and clean. We went up to our rooms which were well laid out and clean. Great balcony/meeting area on second floor provided us a meeting area. Breakfast was good and Angela checked us out quickly the next morning. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Really friendly,the employee's make it feal like home. The rooms are very clean when we get off work so all around great place to stay. The parking lot is very spacefull plenty of places to park. Overall excellent place to stay

I was in town recently for my class reunion and stayed at the Best Western! It is a wonderful place to stay, very clean and nice place all around. The front desk clerks Jackie and Angela, were very friendly and nice.

Motel was adjacent to 2 or 3 restaurants. We had dinner at the Huddle House which had good fare at reasonable prices. At first we couldn,t operate the TV but a maintenance man showed us how to access the channels. We particularly enjoyed the movie channels. Breakfast was adequate. Coffee center was right outside our door which made it very convenient.

I was in the area on a business trip, and found this motel to stay at. Out off all the motels in the area, this was the best suitable for me. When I arrived the front desk clerks where very friendly, thank u Jackie and Angela for such friendly service. They went out of there way to help me figure out the area, and to make sure I had everything I needed. The motel was very clean, and all staff was friendly. This motel will be where I stay anytime I am in the area, no doubt about it.

We where in the area visiting family and friends, and found this little gem. The staff (Jackie, Angela, Shirley, and David) where very amazing people. They made sure we had everything we needed, and went above and beyond to help us. The rooms where very clean, up to date, and breakfast off the charts. This motel definitely needs to be recognized for all there wonderful stuff. We will definitely stay here again, no questions asked.

We were traveling through and got very tired. We got off the exit, not sure what we would find. There were 3 motels there and this one won our choice, amazing greeting. We asked to look at a room and then we were sold. Very clean rooms, breakfast was more than we expected, express check out was very handy as we left early. The Staff was just plain awesome, Angela, Jackie, and the breakfast attendant Shirley were great. We will stay again.

Wonderful hotel with the nicest staff I have ever experienced! We were working in the area and chose this hotel to stay at. The booking was fast and easy. We had to extend the room and it was hassle free. The hotel was spotless and every employee greeted us with a smile.

Nice hotel for this small town. Very willing to help in any way we needed. We were in town for wedding and arrived back to hotel after midnight and the receptionist offered us cereal and milk for a bedtime snack. Very helpful and nice.

Nice room with wonderful DirecTV, microwave, refrigerator. Free great Seattle's Best coffee 24/7 in the lobby, 6-9am free delicious, serve yourself buffet breakfast. Cozy table settings on second floor for friend and family gatherings. Convenient fax machine services available, also on the second floor. Please ask for Angela at the Front Desk. She called on my first night to ask if I needed anything and was always available at the Front Dest to answer any of my questions and help with anything I needed. She is a wonderful employee of Best Western!!!!!!

We had a business appointment in town and I checked several places. Once I looked at the reviews for the best western I decided we would stay there. It was everything the great reviews said. The front desk help, Angela, was wonderful. She called our room after we were settled in to check on us and make sure everything was up to standards. Everyone was very helpful. We needed a late check out and it was no problem to get. If I need a hotel in central city again, that is where we will stay. Thank you Best Western.

Good place to stay clean friendly staff great location if you are working at the power plant and plenty of restaurants close by. Breakfast is always ready early when we go to work and they have grab and go to take with you a very nice place to stay for the price

If I have to stay in Central City, I stay at Best Western. Jackie, Carla, and the rest of the staff are the best in town. Breakfast is fantastic. Easy check in and check out. The rooms are very clean. Great location just off the interstate. The best in town.

Nice hotel. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. Updated linens. Staff very pleasant. Breakfast and coffee bar was good. Parking lot shared with a Huddle House. Forgot something in car want to retrieve after dark, parking lot could have used more lights. Thanks for a good nights sleep.

Stayed for a week a great clean place and both managers Carla and Jackie was friendly and helpfull enjoyed being there and was helpfull on food places as well as any needs you have would recommend this hotel to anyone for a great and friendly stay in mid west

My husband, son and I were traveling from the Blue Ridge Parkway back to Illinois on motorcycles and decided to find a route that bypassed the heavy traffic in Nashville and in Louisville. We turned north off I-40 at Lebanon TN and headed west on I-69 (Western Ky Parkway) to connect with I-24 just south of Paducah. Central City was about half way so decided to stay at the Best Western there. It was a perfect place to spend the night. The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating; the hotel facility itself was very clean and well-maintained; the rooms were comfortable and quiet; and we found the breakfast to be quite adequate. We often travel from Illinois to the Smoky Mountains and will always take this route and stay at this hotel in the future.

Super great place to stay. Nice room and amenities. Full hot breakfast, and indoor pool. We will stay again if ever in this area. All employees were always over and above gracious and helpful. Anyone needing to stay in this area would be making a wise choice to stay here. We were here 2 nights and traveled to Owensboro from here each day.

The employees were great. The breakfast bar had items that I like, starting with biscuits and gravy! The room I was in was a suite. It was clean and provided everything I needed. I was very satisfied with my stay.

We stayed here May 27 and 28, 2016. We were moving our son to the area for two months to play in a summer collegiate baseball league. Excellent hotel!! Most important to me - Clean, Clean, Clean!! Nice, large rooms. Strong wi-fi service. Good breakfast. Professional, courteous staff. We will be traveling to the area often over the next two months and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else.

This is the place to be if you are traveling and get sick. Got a kidney stone. They took care of me as if I were their family. LOVE the staff!!!! Wishing I could have stayed longer. Nice rooms and nice comfy beds.

This property seems to have been recently renovated or newly built. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were very squishy and uncomfortable. They have a great hot breakfast selection in the morning (waffles, build your own oatmeal, eggs, biscuits and gravy) along with cold cereal and yogurt. My one caveat though is that the area to prepare your breakfast is too small. It was a traffic jam all morning of folks trying to prepare food for themselves and stay out of the way of other guests. Tables to sit and eat breakfast are actually located in the lobby on the other side of a wall from the breakfast area. This was a major frustration for me, especially when trying to feed small children. The in-room coffee was bland and the coffee offered in the lobby also seemed watered down. All in all, this hotel provided a clean and very quiet room to stop off the parkway and get a good night's rest. I would just encourage them to improve their breakfast setup and make it more convenient and easy for guests to get themselves fed in the morning.

I was very happy to find a pet and smoke free hotel along the Parkway. The hotel was very nice, clean and well kept with the amenities of a higher priced property. There is easy access to food and gas nearby as well.

Great hotel right off the highway but you don't hear road noise. Best hot breakfast I've had in a hotel. The hotel is relatively new, the rooms are nice and clean and the bed is comfortable. I'm tall so having a shower head higher on the wall is really appreciated. I would definitely stay here again.

I've stayed here numerous times and every time is very comfortable. Since the last time I stayed they have remodeled the rooms and installed an elevator. Very nice accommodations. When in Central City, this is my choice. The new soap dispensers are a nice touch however, mine was empty.

A typical Best Western. Quiet, decent breakfast. We had a good nights sleep in our first floor room. There are a couple of restaurants near by for dinner. We chose to walk to the Mexican restaurant, El Bracero. I have reviewed them.

Facility has been updated with a fresh look. Room was nice, smelled pleasant and was fairly quiet except for a few kids being kids early in the morning. Check in and out was easy and the staff was efficient. The free continental breakfast was good and the area kept stocked and tidy by a very friendly staff lady. We did not use the pool or other facilities provided by the hotel.

The hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly & pleasant. The beds were comfortable, room was nice, check in was a breeze which was a big plus because I travel with a support dog. The morning complementary breakfast food was excellent & well maintained with a nice selection as well. Parking lot was well lit & clean. I would certainly stay there again & I am happy to recommend this location.

This hotel is the best. The staff is great the pool is awesome. The beds are very comfortable had the best night sleep. We always stay here and visit grandkids and to let them swim and have a good time.

Traveled to this area yesterday to pick up a family member. The room with 2 queen beds was large, and it included a microwave and refrigerator. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was a nice size. Had coffee and juice from the breakfast buffet. Decided to eat at Huddle House before we departed this morning. Our room was located on the second floor, and the elevator was not in service. Had my spouse came we would have had to ask for a room on the first floor. We would stay here again.

Despite the new installation of an elevator the hotel was very pleasant. Nice updated facility. Brandy at the front desk and Shirley in housekeeper were extremely friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Would definitely stay at this hotel again!!

Hotel was clean, comfortable, and accommodating. They were painting a stairwell which eliminated it's use. No elevators here. For the location, I would have no problem returning to this facility. Breakfast was ok, continental, but not fantastic.

My husband and I are healthcare providers. We were hired by the local hospital. We stayed at Best Western Plus two weeks of every month for a year. We found the staff, rooms and property wonderful. The new renovations are outstanding. The staff is like family and treated us as such. We have stayed at other Best Western properties because of the impeccable treatment and cleanliness of the facilities on several occasions since our experience with THE BEST Best Western in the country in Central City Ky!! We will definitely return there and recommend to our friends and family!!

They're working on remodeling the hotel but it is in good shape. The sleeping area was very nice. The coffee in the morning was excellent and the breakfast was what you would expect from a hotel breakfast. I would stay here again.

I stay in this hotel quite frequently the staff and facility are great they always go out of their way to make everything just right. The pool, breakfast, and everything works for what I need and then some!

Usually my company books with a competitor..(Holiday Inn)..and i will have to say that the food and the cleanliness of this property is handled like a 5 star resort ..All the staff is great polite and friendly.. And by far the food for breakfast is better than most the waffles are great ..had one every morning

The breakfast was very good and the treatment by the staff was exceptionally cordial and courteous! Overall it was an exceptionally pleasant and comfortable visit! I would highly recommend staying at the Best Western Plus Venture Inn in Central City, Ky.

Best Western's are my #1 place to stay when I travel. It is the most friendliest, cleanest, & convenient hotel compared to the others in the area. I do have to say that the beds are the most restful beds of "any" other place I've stayed. I recommend this is the 'go to place' to stay when you are in the area. You won't be disappointed.

As a frequent business traveler, I made arrangements at this hotel expecting decent (most Best Western PLUS are), and was surprised my accommodations EXCEEDED very expectation! My KEY 3 comforts were met: (1) Clean & comfy bed, (2) Clean carpet, and (3) updated, clean bathroom! There was a nice hospitality/lounge area on the 2nd floor that overlooked the front desk area; a great place to wind down after my business obligations without camping in my room overnight. Easy access to the main thruway, and proximal to most of the decent restauarants in that area. Plenty of parking. A great stay for business! Oh yea, GOOD AND FREE HIGH SPEED INTERNET!

We stayed for 1 night during a trip. New carpeting, paint, decor. Clean throughout. Breakfast had better options than anticipated. Room was fairly quiet, in spite of being on the highway - the option of running the heat/cool fan continuously helped. Room was ship-shape and included a frig / microwave. We would stay again.

worst motel I have ever stayed in. Not only was the entire place under construction, there was no elevator as it had not been installed, and there was no TV at all and the heating unit in the room made such a loud noise that I had to turn it off and freeze in order to sleep. The common area doors were left open because they were installing carpet in the halls which made it colder and provided no security. When I asked them to give me another room they told me cable was out in the entire motel even though they were still advertising it on their sign out front. They told me they would fix the heating unit while I went to have dinner and reported it was fixed when I came back but, it was not. When I complained again the next morning I was told that it wasn't the entire place but, only select rooms. When I asked why they couldn't have given me another room, they had no answer. When I said the room should be free because they were false advertising free cable TV on their sign outside they gave me a $9 discount off of $100 room price. I would strongly discourage anyone from staying in this Best Western in the future.

We stayed here one night for a wedding. Even though it was under construction it was very clean. There is a microwave and mini fridge in the room. The breakfast was nice and hot. I would stay here again.

This hotel was clean and yes the lobby has a tiny bit of construction going on for an elevator. Still has a couple of big nice tables and t.v. area. Angela at the front desk was very nice and we ate dinner at the Mexican restaurant next door that was good. There was parking enough for our long horse trailer and F350 crew cab. They cheerfully let us take up 2 parking spaces. The rooms were very clean and bed was comfy. They have breakfast and coffee in the morning. There was also a pool. We thought it was a very nice place. They had flowers all over outside in planters and are fixing it up even better.

During our visit, the lobby was being redone and there was no elevator. Also, the closets at the hotel are having closet doors installed so it was just an open area. Not appealing at all. I doubt I will stay there the next time I visit.

Wonderful staff. Breakfast included eggs and meats. Lots of outlets did not need to unplug the clock. Only complaint was that the room was very dark. Construction of elevator was not a problem. Pool seemed warm but did not use

We have stayed here multiple times, and it's always a great place to stay. We always get a good nights rest, the staff is wonderful, the beds are so wonderful, the breakfast bar is tasty and plentiful, and the staff is always accommodating and friendly. Best place in Central City to stay!

Not the best place we have stay, but it was clean, comfortable and we had a good night of sleep. Installing a new elevator, lobby area a construction site. Building is of average construction. Breakfast was ok. Would not consider this hotel a Best Western Plus, more of a Best Western.

We recently stopped by during a motorcycle trip with 11 guys. The hotel staff was all friendly and well trained. Rooms were clean. New furniture and mattresses. They are in the process of remodeling, but the construction did not interfere with our visit. Good value.
