Best Western Kelly Inn

Location is poor we'll off main highway. Complex is old and dark. Key card did not work on outside door. Garbage was not emptied. Walls were thin and room was next to a pet room with barking dogs. Room was changed but it did not have a working remote for the TV. And the sheets were soiled. While new sheets were provided we had to change them ourselves. Review was completed via BW survey and GM replied with an apology. Also offered to talk via phone. I called and left message to call me back and that was not done. Needless to say we will not be back there and strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

My room cost close to $200 dollars. The sheets were ripped the shower was grimy and the drain was in pieces. The room was not thoroughly cleaned. All the renovations and that I could see were cheaply done and already falling apart. Breakfast was very basic and low quality.

We decided to stay in Yankton as the rooms in Vermilion were full. The room was adequate. The light in the bathroom that also has the fan had a noisy sound that only stopped when turned off. The bed was comfortable however the sheets were threadbare and actually had holes in them. The breakfast was ok, similar to other places we have stayed. I did report the fan and sheets to the person at the front desk when we checked out.

Service is awesome, the hotel was very clean, all the staff is super nice. This always has been a great place to stay. We have been to this hotel for the last 22 years. Parking is easy, check in and out have been seemless.

We stayed for a wedding. The ballroom was slightly small for our group but that made it an intimate affair. The food was excellent. The drinks were rather expensive but that did not hinder the intake. The room was nice with a door to the inner hall and one right outside where we could park. The staff was putting breakfast away 30 minutes before the end time but we ate faster. Checkout was easy. This is the best hotel in Yankton.

Best Western has been our home away from home for the last year. My child is a student at one of the local colleges so we have been making our way back and forth from California to visit her. We like the Best Western for its proximity to the highway, the location of my child's school, the price point of the stay, and the value. The hotel itself is decent looking, the lobby is nice and has a good size seating area. There is a restaurant/lounge and I have to say their broasted chicken is delicious! There is no elevator at this location so if you have a room on the second floor the stairs are the only option. The rooms are always clean, as a germaphobe this means a lot to me. The beds are comfortable. My room came with a refrigerator and microwave and a coffee machine. This location serves a free breakfast with the perfect variety of choices. My favorite was the biscuits and gravy! The staff is always cheerful and helpful. Oh, I dont know how I keep on forgetting to mention that this location has a water slide at the pool! Its a fun decent sized pool/water play area.

TERRIBLE STAFF. If you go here, have the expectation that the staff will be rude to you. The hotel is decent... Our room was fine, but other people in our group had HUGE spider webs in their room and the room was not clean. The pool area is really nice for the kiddos. This hotel doesn't have an elevator; my elderly grandparents were forced to pay EXTRA for a hotel room on the first floor...

We have stayed at this facility before for family Reunion at Cottonwoods Landing. We haven't noticed any significant improvements over the years. This visit only one of our keys provided worked in our room

When we entered the room we noticed a bad smell in it. We had to spray air freshener to clean it up. When we looked at the hotel rules in the room it said pool/hot tub open till 11 on fri and sat. At ten the girl comes in turns off the light and yells get out. Next morning during checkout that girl was on the computer and seemed annoyed I was trying to check out. Did not say two words to me

This motel is nice, has breakfast and an attached restaurant. The only crummy part was a nearby feed lot. The smell would blow in and not leave. Staff tries to help but there really isn't anything they can do.

I was very happy with our stay. We were there for a funeral and the bereavement amenities were a surprise and greatly appreciated. I would absolutely stay again. The restaurant attached was also a nice bonus.

Okay hotel, needs a face-lift. Front desk experience was slow due to a large group ahead of us. The pool area is dingy and wifi didn't work. Nice to have an outside entrance to our room. Probably wouldn't stay here again unless the hotel is upgraded.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfest area was very clean and well stocked. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Pool area could use a deep clean and some maintenance. Check in and out was very easy.

The rooms were Very clean. the staff was very helpful and friendly. There was a good variety of breakfast items and it was open longer than most other hotels. The beds were extremely comfortable and the pillows too. I was not expecting such a great experience but id would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone.

Sewer smell in the bathroom twice upon my return of being gone most days to the nursing home to see mom. Overwhelming smell of chlorine, noise, air conditioner extremely loud (had to turn TV volume up and down. Dim lighting in hallway (old equipment). Portable shower head that sprayed everywhere if put in slot. Water went outside the shower as no ‘lip' They need to explain what the actual room s like when verbalizing availability.

Woke up at 12 midnight by screeching of a baby boy. Noise in hall continued to 3 AM. Alerted the front desk (Kim) by phone several times. He came out to investigate. He said there were no security cameras. I opened the door and caught 5 burly men with beer cans in their hands loitering in the hall. One man holding the baby boy. They said they were there for a wedding.

The hotel is a little older and could use some upgrades, but the water pressure was AMAZING and the beds were actually extremely comfortable! We also had a pool side room, which was very convenient having two kids and the room was actually a lot quieter than I expected.

DO NOT book a room at Kelly inn. We booked through A different company so unfortunately we did not see the prior bad reviews of this place that match our experience perfectly. We “checked in” 4 1/2 hours past when we should have been there, yet this is what we walked in to. Very nasty they didn't have any other rooms for us as well! We called the inn and they seemed to not care to fix any of it and Trip adviser is telling us that the hotel is standing by their cancellation policy. This is what $214 for a night gets you bad service and a dirty room

Reading some of the reviews worried me a bit, but I needed to stay in Yankton, and this hotel was the most reasonable choice, so I gave it a try. Staff was very nice, room was clean, beds were comfortable. This is not a new hotel, but so what? I had a room on first floor because of lack of elevators. THAT would be the only reason I wouldn't stay here - if a 1st floor was nit available. (I'm a grandma, and don't lug suitcases up flights of stairs anymore.) This place is for practical folks that want to sleep in a clean place. Breakfast is provided, but not special. Oh, the coffee is VERY WEAK! So if you like real coffee, make it in your room.

The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The front desk was helpful when I needed something. The dining area was very clean and the options for breakfast were many and did include healthy options. The restaurant was also a great experience; the food was excellent. We did not indulge in the spa or pool, but check them out, and they also looked welcoming.

Didn't sleep all night.. arrived at hotel and gal at front desk was very rude. Entered room and seen 2 small bugs crawling on pillow. We flew in from Phoenix to visit my brother at Sister James. Tried to sleep, but found two bugs crawling on me. Reported to front desk, and asked overnight gal to notate need to spray room 103 when cleaning room. She was sweet, but wasn't sure what to say. Breakfast gal was awesome and did a great job keeping everything hot and tasty. Hot tub being redone so you would think that when 85% of rooms are not in use, that you would have more caring staff. Price for room was too high for the quality and poor treatment. Oh, and don't forget buggies crawling on you in bed. Best Western should be ashamed to even be connected to Kelly Inn.

We stayed over because we had family in the camp ground. Our room was on the second floor and the night management let several people drink and party outside the hotel right under our room until 1:00 am. Their response was sorry. We will not stay again unless we have a big group and want to stay up all night partying.

We were in town with a group for a baseball tournament for 3 days. The pool was ridiculous, no food or drinks allowed in any area around the pool even with poolside rooms especially not pizza. While I agree, no glass or food or beverage should be alllowed in the pool, when you have numerous tables and chairs, one would expect to be able to sit and watch your children swim while having a beverage. Staff informed us this was not allowed. Their bar was then closed at 10pm on a Saturday night so then when we decided to sit outside and converse, we were informed that they would escort us out if we chose not be civilized adults. Mind you, everyone was chatting normally and nothing was getting out of control. If you want to offer group bookings for events, at the very least, offer them an area to sit and converse. We spent so much money at your hotel as a group this weekend only to be treated as children. We will absolutely not book again.

Rooms are very damp. Hotel smelled like sewage. Staff was not accommodating to the guests needs. We were over billed and on site staff argued about the charges. This took excessive time to resolve the issue.

My wife's granddaughter got chorine burns in the pool. Additionally, there was a soccer tournament that used the hotel as a headquarters. The pool area was not supervised, and the pool's got dirty. In my opinion, its also why the granddaughter got chorine burns the following day in the hiot tub.

This is a last minute reservation , the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable ( thank you Alissa ) . We arrived after midnight and found a very capable and friendly night staff ( thank you Kim ) . We had a wheelchair bound family member in our group & Alissa was able to find us a chair accessible room , which is truly hard to find such place ( much less last minute ) . Kim made the check in easy & was instrumental , by letting me view the room which was ‘sealed the deal' . He even assisted our chair bound member into the room . If the rest of our stay goes as smoothly , it will be the 1st time in 15 years that I will have enjoyed my stay Anywhere , when traveling away from home ! This also shows that the management at this location has the necessary skills & talent to have the right people in the right positions and how to motivate them correctly . The lady at the front desk was HORRIBLE. Worst attitude. We had three different rooms our party checked into and everyone after checking out said how much of a horrible person the front desk lady was. We got there for early check-in asked when booking and also asked again at precheck in to get rooms close to each other. When we got there the lady informed us that we "weren't even close to each other". She had the crappiest of attitude and made us never want to go there again. Another person from our party had said they had stayed previously and remembered the lady at the front desk and warned us if she was working she will be unpleasant. That's literally an understatement. Needless to say after booking and being one of the first people into the hotel we could of easily been placed all next to each other as other guests arrived many hours later to rooms that were all poolside and the same. She was just lazy and seriously wanted to see she needed the power control. Fire this lady!

The staff at the Best Western Kelly inn are fantastic. They even got up early to serve breakfast for all the snow goose hunters. All staff was friendly. The place was clean and very accommodating. Definitely recommend giving this a stay.

Stay here every year. The rooms a roomy and have many amenities including a refrigerator and coffee maker. Barrooms are spacious. Breakfast is awesome and the people friendly and hotel staff are friendly and accommodating.

Possibly the worst hotel experience of my life. Rooms were full of cob webs and spiders. Heat in hotel went out and hotel staff didn't make us aware until we went to front desk to ask about the heat issue. We weren't offered a discount on our rooms even after all of the issues. If you are traveling and looking for a nice hotel to stay I highly recommend looking for alternative options.

Hallways smelled like sewer, fitness center freezing cold, hvac didn't keep an accurate temperature, bath fan obnoxiously loud, people partying late at night, restaurant was the worst I have ever been to. Room was nice size and pretty clean

The hotel/ rooms were nice. Comfortable beds and clean room. The staff were nice and helpful. Ate at the restaurant and the food was good, but a little overpriced. We didn't use the pool, but it looked nice as well.

The staff was professional and super professional. The hotel was clean and fresh smelling. The continental breakfast was awesome and we will definitely be staying here anytime we are in Yankton! Highly recommend it.

We needed to travel to Yankton for the funeral of my step-dad. Not only did the offer us a bereavement rate, but the room was so nice, with a very comfortable bed. The grandkids enjoyed the pool, and gave them a chance to do something fun, on a less than fun trip!

The hotel was clean, quiet and convenient. The breakfast was very nice. My only complaint was the bar was already closed at 10pm when we arrived and we had to order pizza in order to get a meal. Otherwise a pretty nice hotel and a pretty good price.

For an older property is has been updated and maintained well. Like the option of having outside access to some of the rooms. Very convenient and one of the main reasons I stay at this site. Also nice having the restaurant onsite.

The staff was very courteous and accomplished the check-in very quickly. We were also allowed to park our motorcycles under the entrance port in front which I thought was impressive. The only room complaint is the bathtub drained very slowly and was standing in ankle deep water by the time my shower was finished, I did mention just after check-in it did not drain properly and reported it to the front desk again at check-out. I observed the hallway carpet needed cleaning or replaced. I had no complaints with the breakfast. The restaurant offered very good choices of food.

Don't stay at this hotel at all cost. Had a bad odor in the room. I chalked it up as being something the kids placed in the trash. Found what look like a 30 day orange behind the TV stand. Sadly we didn't see this until the last day of our stay. Bath ceiling fan was horribly loud.

Website and confirmation email clearly says check in at 2 pm. We were unable to get into our rooms until after 4 pm. We had traveled with small children in 4 different families. No place to go in Yankton SD while waiting for our rooms to be readied.

We asked for a handicapped accessible room. The room we were given was on the second floor of a two story hotel with NO ELEVATOR. Two of our party of 3 have a hard time with stairs. We got to the room with some struggles. The room was nice enough. The bed was too high for a handicapped person to get into and even a shorter person with no physical challenges would have a hard time getting into it. My sister had to stack two pillows on the floor to get into the bed. Someone in a wheel chair could not have gotten into the walk in shower because the entrance was too narrow. Only one of the 3 of us could take a shower because it did not drain. Two hours after the first shower it had not gone down at all. There are no grab bars in the bathroom and no shower bench. Nobody was at the desk when we checked out. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and especially not if you have any kind of physical challenges.

We made a reservation for a handicapped accessible room. When we checked in we were given a room on the second floor. We asked where the elevator was. There is none. Two of the 3 occupants struggled to get up the stairs. There was nothing handicapped accessible about the room. No grab bars by either the stool or the shower. A small step up to get in the shower, the bed was so high it was a struggle to get on it. The next morning one person took a shower. The water didn't drain and almost ran out of the shower. It never did drain out so the other two were unable to shower. When we checked out we planned to express our displeasure and request a discount but noone was at the desk.

Motel furnishings are very dated. Staff does not extend themselves to even display a friendly countenance. Room odor from carpet, also the bed linens. Unable to use air conditioner. It rattled a lot and would have kept us awake. Keep looking. You can do better than this.

Great full Breakfast, Very clean rooms with great beds! The pool area was great for the kiddos, they loved it! Will definitely stay here again the next time we come to Yankton! If you're thinking about staying here and you have kids, do it!

We stayed in room 168 it was a very small double queen room, however it was clean. The main hallway closest to our room locked down when the restaurant closed which made it inconvenient to go to the front desk and to the continental breakfast. Our room did not have a microwave(there was a spot for one)and when I called the front desk they said I could use the one in the breakfast area. They also offered to have one dropped off to our room if they could find one. We never received a phone call back about it or a knock on the door but when we went to check out there was one sitting in the hallway.

I can be very picky about hotels. The one thing I demand is it to be clean. We paid foe 2 rooms and they were both filthy. The drain in the bathtub did not drain, remote did not work, I don't know the last time they were vacuumed. It was gross

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Maintenance had to hook up cable, hot tub was luke warm at best, show and tub faucet needed to be replaced. Staff was very helpful. Restaurant is overpriced with small portions.

We had reservations at a different pet-friendly hotel in Yankton, last evening, but when we arrived it was terrible. we tried another and then found the Best Western, so glad we did. They were wonderful and helpful. They do a COVID friendly breakfast take out, and the rooms open from the inside hallway and some also from the outside. Minimal risk of exposure. Staff wore asks in hallways, and going about their work. Linens were spotless, nice thick towels. A restaurant is near on-site. They are surrounded by an athletic complex field to walk pet, give you a treat bag and clean up bag on arrival. Amazing quiet, however it is every other room filled.

First time travelling to Yankton SD. Stayed at BW Kelly Inn and was pleasantly surprised! We had a pool side room. It was very quiet, room was clean, a/c worked great! Hotel must have had a recent update to it! Because of covid 19 breakfast was grab and go which we were told ahead of time. It was basic but still worked for us as we were on the go during our stay! Would definitely stay again!

Have stayed here with our small dog multiple times over the past 3 years. Our most recent night's stay in July 2020 was as fine as our previous experiences here. Clean and quiet room, comfy bed, good shower with a drain that actually works. Front desk staff friendly and efficient. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. All in all, a solid place to stay and in a safe location. The dog had no complaints either.

Great annual stay at hotel even with virus restrictions, Made it easy for myself and dog with location of room , they took all precautions of virus and still were able to accomadate under those circumstances . I look forward to next year and hope i no one will will be dealing with any problems of that nature again.

The hotel was excellent. Staff were courteous and professional. The room was clean and well equipped. Clean and modern amenties too numerous to mention. Go Stay with the folks at the Kelly Inn in Yanton. Nice location. Enjoy you stay and see the area. Fun time for all.

Staff were so helpful and prompt. We had a big group of adults and kids with us and they were so accommodating. The breakfast was good...just missed my biscuits and gravy. I can't say enough about how the front desk lady on Sat interacted with my kids and helped them find things for a scavenger hunt we sent them on!! She was awesome!

We had a family group of 8 adults and 8 children, ages 1 to 12. We enjoyed poolside rooms and the kids had a great time in the pool as it had a slide, basketball hoop and water cannon. The breakfast had a great variety and was kept well stocked. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool area was very clean as well. It was a wonderful place to celebrate our family Christmas.

We have been coming to get together with family for our kids birthdays for twelve years. Every year they add another rule for their pool area. Last time they wanted us to paying for wristbands for our elderly grandparents to watch our kids swim. This year they changed the rule to no food or drinks pool area. This is understandable but the creepy janitor was very rude when he told us it was no longer allowed. When I went to talk to the front desk to ask about when the change had takin place she was also very rude and said we should have read the sign and we're told about it at check-in, which we were not.

BW Kelly sees themselves as a top tier chain and by the pictures on web page you would think the same.The rooms are what you would find on the interstate of most anyplace, unremarkable. The staff was adequate no complaints in the service but again unremarkable, it's just a job in Yankton. Business rate was just under 100 but after taxes... Minerva's, just stick to the panini, steaks are not gonna be what you want to order. I had 2 both ordered rare 1 was a tomahawk ribeyecooked unevenly to the and way closer to medium at $72 dollars get it right or dont offer it. The other was a 12oz again ordered rare, was served medium and the server looked bored. He did replace no apologies just here's another took the medium and I could hear them discussing between them that it was fine. At $24 for a 12oz I was getting what I ordered and eventually I did. Basic talent in kitchen high end steak joint prices I wouldn't recommend to anyone. But that was two different nights in what I assume to be an established restaurant take it as you will.

Poor maintenance of building, staff friendly when passing very rude to discuss any issues with. Dirty showers, toilets barely flush, maintenance man intimidating kids by yelling at them when adults were sitting right there. Inconsiderate of our needs as guests. Gentlemen working in breakfast area very nice and friendly. Squeaky beds.

The creepy janitor here will yell at young kids instead of talking to the adults. Dirty rooms. No congregating allowed poolside-even if you are there for a funeral trying to see extended family. The staff will hassle you if you bring plastic cups with beverages inpoolside

Rooms were clean and tidy. Pool area also kept clean even though hotel is older. Service and front desk were very kind and helpful. Breakfast staff made sure there was plenty of food in serving trays/warmers.

Very nice people at the front desk, made checking in fast and easy. Good variety in breakfast foods. Pool was on the colder side, hard for my toddler to enjoy it while freezing. Overall had a very nice stay. Close to the location where we spent most of our time.

Love getting a lower level room that has an outside entrance, so nice to unload and reloading the car. The granddaughter loves to swim in this pool. The room decor has been updated and looks very nice.

Our stay in this hotel was very disappointing. Our first floor room appeared not to have had a thorough clean for some time. It was dusty and there were numerous cobwebs. The carpet was sticky. The décor was tired, dark and uninspiring. The noise insulation was poor. We could hear other guests talking, snoring and even using the bathroom. The whole hotel seemed to us be uncared for. The breakfast was also low quality as hotel breakfasts go. The staff we met were polite but not particularly welcoming or helpful. Overall we were sorry we chose to stay at this hotel. We would not recommend it.

The facility is nice, however they allow workmen to have rooms for weeks at a time who party loudly during the night on weekends. One night it was a party. The next night it was a loud argument. Both nights the noise started around 2 am after I was sound asleep. Thankfully, the Kelly Inn did change my room assignment. If you stay there ask to be assigned a room away from workmen.

Due to come car trouble we had to book a hotel on short notice in Yankton and ended up at the Best Western on the East side of town. Initially it didn't look too bad, however when I took my shoes and socks off I got the unwelcome surprise that the carpeting in our first-floor room was dirty and sticky, so much that I had to put socks on so my feet didn't stick to the carpeting. The (white) socks were badly yellowed underneath just from walking on the carpet. It was truly disgusting, we will not be staying at this hotel again. If you do find yourself at this hotel, I strongly recommend requesting an upper floor, as it seems the moisture from under the first floor slab getting into the carpet is a contributor to the dirty, sticky carpet we found.

front desk clerks were slow, and wouldn't honor military discount that was advertized on web site. coffee pot not working, poor wi-fi, hallway smelled of urine. best experience of our stay was the continental breakfast.

My daughter and grand daughter stayed here and I would highly suggest you look elsewhere for a hotel. First of all the hotel is pet friendly and there was a dog barking not far from their room. Their feet were black from the carpet in their room, there were bugs, spiders and flies in their room, the hotel is extremely noisy, it's very dark and every sound echoed in their room. The front desk staff were very helpful (and deserve 5 stars) when she called numerous times to keep the noise down. We understand there will be parties but this hotel is awful for sound traveling through the hotel.

A bit spendy but nice rooms and friendly people, and we appreciate the help they gave our event, the South Dakota Kayak Challenge. Many participants stayed there and appreciated the help we got. Curtains were not good at keeping light out.

May 13-14, 2019: Friendly and efficient clerk. Breakfast attendant kept all supplies full. My room, 114, was clean. Iron board cover needs replaced. Bath fan made noise. Overall, I had an enjoyable stay. I recommend this hotel.

The service was good, but we didn't have contact with any staff, except check-in and check-out. The room was standard, but very dimly lit. Some minor problems, not quite Best Western standard. The location was great, that's why we chose to stay there.

On the East edge of town but has good restaurant attached. Was there during snowy winter and was nice to have exterior door as I often need items from car that I forgot to carry in with me. Room was clean and functional for business purpose.

This is the 19th year we have stayed at this hotel for our annual snow goose hunting trip. We bring over 100 hunters every year. There are plenty of options to stay in Yankton but with everything the Kelly Inn provides why would we. You will like this hotel, well worth the price.

Rude management when I acquired about a late check-out due to trying to leave town early for a blizzard. Denied the request to check out before 1pm instead of 11am when the hotel was no where near full. Very thin walls, little noise control.

We stay here every year since we were kids. Not sure if they are under new management or what is going on but it is def not as friendly as it used to be. Will consider staying elsewhere next time. Staff at check in was rude when we asked for an early check in. No problem if you cant, just no need to be rude about it.

I was booked here for work and I'm glad they did. It was a very clean hotel with great customer service. I will definitely stay here in the future whether it's for work or personal. Highly recommend staying here.

A warm and friendly atmosphere greeted us with an updated modern look. We opted for a larger room than the standard and it was spacious and clean. The staff was accommodating and we very much appreciated having a decent breakfast offering.

We decided not to drive three more hours in the dark, so called this motel a few hours before. They were able to take our reservation for a king non-smoking for that night. When we arrived, the main greeting are was beautiful and welcoming. Everything else about our stay measured up to excellent.

I booked two nights at this hotel through the hotel's website. The rate at which I booked was $97.05 per night, for a total of $194.10. Imagine my surprise when the booking site added almost $75 in "tax recovery charges and service fees" to the tab when I booked, for a total of $268.27! And since cancellation was not an option per the website, I was stuck with these exorbitant fees. When I checked out, the hotel couldn't even give me a receipt showing what these fees were for and who they went to, despite my having booked through THEIR OWN WEBSITE. The hotel itself was okay -- clean, reasonable breakfast, but nothing special. I won't be back.

This was a classic western lodge, what we have come to expect on our two other trips through the West. Draped Native American blankets and Native American earth tone color schemes, lots of dark wood, stone, mounted elk head. Very cozy, charming, yet stately. The lobby cathedral ceiling and cozy warmth makes you want to hang there as much as in your room, which is also charming. There is a pool. The breakfast is filling and tasty but not particularly extensive or imaginative. Though the warm lighting and stone-wood atmosphere is nice the breakfast area is far too crowded and you are falling over the other guests.

We stayed at the BW Yankton and were given room 259. It had hallways on three sides and was overlooking the pool. Our room had no window to the outdoors and perhaps would have been nice if we had children. We heard screaming and yelling from the pool until 11:15 pm and then people loudly yelled and screamed in the hallways on our three sides leaving the pool for another 30 minutes after that. The yelling and screaming could be heard over the ancient and loud air conditioner and our tv. It was the noisiest hotel room I've ever been in. On top of that the bass (music) from a wedding reception banged for an hour after that. Because we had an inside room, our windows had full light on the other side and our room was illuminated all night because the curtains didn't keep out the light. We didn't enjoy this hotel at all and would never return. This was disappointing because we usually find Best Western hotels to be very good, but not this one. We couldn't wait to leave in the morning. I cannot believe that we paid over $100 for this room and didn't sleep. It was miserable.

The rooms in this hotel are the cleanest you will experience anywhere and the staff is super friendly and you can tell they value your business. Everyone working there cares about you. A special shout out to the housekeeping staff - the rooms are spotless - which is hard to find in a 50-year old building like this - heck - even brand new hotels are not this clean.

Nice clean rooms and comfortable beds. Enjoyed fine dining at the attached eatery. Would be nice to have an elevator for second floor guests. Family members enjoyed the pool/water park. Would stay again...

The staff was excellent in taking care of any needs, very friendly and helpful. The onsite bar/restaurant was very good and the room clean and very comfortable. Parking was very easy. Even though the hotel was pretty full with a big group they had, we felt very welcome and valued as a guest. Did I mention how great the staff was?! Definitely would return!

When I'm traveling I don't like any surprises so I say at motels that are Clean.Quit Friendly Staff and the best Western Kelly Inn is one of this motels. I stayed here before and I well stay again. It a great location to get to good parking the staff are great at helping you. And the restaurant is still a good place to eat.

We stayed 4 nights for girls national fastpitch tournament. Had a block of poolside rooms for whole team and had a wonderful time. Service was great, rooms clean and pool area very nice. Excellent cancellation policy. We were able to check out a day early after our team lost out. Breakfast was good and nice to be able to feed the team and families every morning. Very accommodating hotel!

The front desk had helpful, curtious staff who were thorough. They answered all our questions. The room was comfortable. Large flat screen T.V., refrigerator, comfortable bed, good variety at breakfast. Plenty of parking. I recommend.

I really enjoyed my night here. The room was clean the lady at the front desk was very friendly. I had a trailer on my truck and she found me a spot to put it. I would definitely recommend staying here.

I stayed here one night with my Road Scholar group. I enjoyed my stay very much. The hotel is well located, has good prices, and very nice rooms. It also has a nice swimming pool, and I believe it would be a good hotel for families, partially because of the swimming pool. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We love almost everything about the motel. It's clean, the breakfasts are very good, swimming pool is kid-friendly, and it's in a good location. We've stayed there many times and will continue to stay there. This time was a little strange when we had breakfast. We were dismayed that they allowed pajamas in the breakfast room. People looked like they had just dragged themselves out of bed. Adults and children alike. Not very appetizing for the rest of us. This is the first time we'd dealt with that. Other than that, our stay was perfect.

Everything was perfect,except pool water was very cold.Even infant pool water was very cold not good for a baby it can shock them.Everything else from beds to cleanliness to breakfast was perfect.Will go again.

This BW property looks to have been recently remodeled, updated and they did a good job. It was everything we expected from a BW and if need be/if we were in the area again, we would stay here. We paid for 3 rooms, a group of family were traveling back from a funeral in ND, and while ours smelled fine, 2 of them did not. One smelled very strong of cigarette smoke while another smelled sweaty. They both used diffusers & essential oils to rid the rooms of their awful scents. Other than that, no complaints.

The toilet was leaking on the floor when we got there. It then overflowed and covered the bathroom floor, out into the room and soaked the carpet. It smelled horrible. Instead of offering to put us in another room they just brought a fan in. It was gross. Bugs and it looked like the bathroom wasn't cleaned.

I was on a road trip and stayed overnight. The motel is clean and the room is in good repair. Minimal toiletries provided but there was a hairdryer in the room. Room was not available before 3 which was disappointing because I arrived earlier than expected and would have appreciated a chance to take a shower. But overall a good choice to stay for a night while traveling.

This is a nice hotel and one that has unique rooms on the lower floor with two doors. Great if you are towing a boat and want to keep an eye on it. I really like the attached restaurant. Rooms were clean and the hotel is going through a make-over

Room was nice and clean and modern. Lounge was welcoming and fun If you go to Minervas, ask for Lane as your server. He was fantastic!! The hotel had a large group there for a convention, but it did not sound like it. Halls were quiet and clean all the time.

Had an amazing experience at this hotel. The rooms were wonderful. Pool area was fun for the kids and very clean. The check in process was easy as was the check out. The staff was extremely helpful. The restaurant was wonderful. The waitress we had was great. Out food was great. Would love to stay at this hotel again.

Very friendly and accommodating staff -- especially under unforeseen weather conditions that stranded hotel guests. The rooms were nice and breakfast was a nice addition. I didn't use the pool, but the families with children in our group loved it.

We stayed Thursday through Saturday. Room was clean, could tell there was a recent remodel. Pool was ice cold on Thursday, asked staff to turn up the temperature. Not much concern from them. Pool was finally warm enough to swim in on Sat night. All kids we're swimming in hot tub, my 2 yr old could only swim for 5 minutes in the pool without blue lips and teeth chattering. Very disappointing. Kid pool never got very warm. We stayed as a wedding party, no discount in the room rate. Won't stay again.

A great place for families-good swimming pool area and nice restaurant attached. Also attended a family anniversary party in the ballroom which was very nice. Have a computer for guests to access with a printer so you can print boarding passes or directions to places.

Our family has made this an annual event. We have been happy with the cleanliness of the facility, breakfast has a good variety, clean and well staffed. This is the second year that we have brought our dog along, she was welcomed with a treat. The rooms were clean and updated. We have booked for next year before we checked out.

From the front desk staff to the maintenance staff and the setup person for breakfast all made our trip very enjoyable. They were all kind and helpful and did not jump on us for making too much noise during pool hours. They did give us notice about 1/2 before the pool closed so we could wrap things up. Very friendly staff.

I have stayed here every few years for over 20 years and every time the hotel is clean, staff is friendly, and the restaurant is very nice. I highly recommend this place to anyone needing to stay in the Yankton area.

The staff at BW were very friendly and helpful! Room was great, decor and comfort. The only thing that kept me up was the noise from the parking lot and side entrance door. Also heard voices and coughs from adjoining rooms and conversations from the hallway as people walked by. This was very unusual as we had used other BW's in the past 2 months. The restaurant attached to the hotel, had a prime rib special for supper. Comes with "one side", I had a potato, all other sides were extra (vegs-boiled sliced carrots), Did not understand why it was so special if you had to pay extra for some sides that should come with the meal. Then everything shows up in separate dishes, as though you were still a child. Wished I had taken a picture it was sooo funny.

We have not stayed at the Kelly Inn for some time... at least a year, ago. Found we would entertain the idea and try it again, while traveling through. Glad to see the rooms have been remodeled as they were in dire need of being renovated. My wife and I were, both, really feeling relaxed and sleeping well until 11:55 PM, when a fight broke out in the hallway. (think it was a family feud of sorts, husband, wife, and kids) The "F" word was exchanged several times and used in every way, possible. Police Officers had to be called in to break it up and settle them down (police car flashing lights in the parking lot and the whole 9 yards). Off to sleep we went, again. At 12:30 AM, again at 2:15 AM and again at 4:00 AM, the party was back on This time it was a bunch of Mexicans. How did we know... They were all cursing in Spanish, Obviously, of Latino decent. Screamed loud Spanish, which we could not understand a word of, then loud english where the "F" word was used in every other sentence, changing languages frequently, back and forth. I finally, called the front desk and explained we have had enough, and couldn't take it anymore. In fact, I insisted I would not take it anymore! Either you take care of the problem or I will call 911 and take care of it, myself! The young man explained the police officers had just arrived and were on scene. Really? Guess I wasn't the only one to call the front desk. Guess, the police were called out a second time to this establishment, that I know of, in one evening. They did get it calmed down and then doors started slamming and vehicles sped out of the parking lot. I told my wife we just as well get up and go. We dosed off and finally slept until 7:00 AM. We got up, dressed and left the facilities. No breakfast or check-out. Didn't even bother. I swear to God! This will be the last time we ever stay her again. Just saying! This has got to be the absolute nosiest place to spend an evening (in a motel) we have ever stayed in. WE'RE DONE WITH THIS ONE! NO! NODA! NOT, AGAIN! Hey! I got an idea... move the Police Station next to the Kelly Inn. Seems they're there, anyway! SAD!

The rooms are clean, the food is good, beds are great. If you want to stay at a great Hotel this is the best in the area. The internet is a little slow but it works.The Continental breakfast is real good.

Older building but everything else is updated nicely. Most BW only have breakfast till 9 so this is nice bc they were still stocking fresh hot food around 9. Friendly staff and same high standard as other BW.

I stayed in the Best Western Kelly Inn for 2 nights over Thanksgiving weekend. Some noise and parking issues due to a large wedding party at the same but overall we (adult daughter and I) had a good stay. We had a ground floor room, with parking very close to the exterior door...so convenient! A decent breakfast, with scrambled egg patties, and biscuits and sausage gravy. I appreciate that there was some protein offered, although scrambled egg patties were not very appealing.

exceptional place to bring your family for any event..weddings..birthday..family reunion..relaxation destination..golf accesable..hunting is excellent..food is the best in a fifity mile radius..can't say more about this hidden have of SE south Dakota...boating and fishing is also..but most of all River Days with the riverside fireworks is second to none...good luck.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The only problem I encountered was the lack of an elevator. i had to lug my heavy suitcase up and down the stairs. My room was very quiet despite the fact that there were a lot of kids there for some kind of tournament.

Staff was helpful. Rooms are clean. The hotel facilities are good, including restaurant and pool area. Plus the WiFi/internet are really good too. Overall experience was great. I recommend Best Western Kelly inn to anyone.

Very nice place to stay for business or pleasure. The restaurant and bar were great. The breakfast is very good and hot. Would be nice to have a microwave in the room for extended stay but a refrigerator was available.

The hotel was nice, clean and the staff was friendly. The restaurant, however, was terrible. The Sunday breakfast buffet was extremely expensive for the options that were available. The food was cold, undercooked, and quite honestly awful! I have stayed in many hotels/motels in Yankton and am not in a hurry to stay here again any time soon.

Great hotel for its class. Of course, it's not a high class hotel. If it pretended to be, I would rate it poor. But it's excellent at being what it is. The restaurant and bar are also great and good value. In Yankton, you cannot do better. I know. I've been there often.

The Best Western in Yankton SD is the place to stay. The hotel is located on Hwy 50 east side of Yankton great location for travelers. The staff are all nice and helpful,there is a restaurant in the hotel a great place to eat good food. You can relax here and feel good the next morning to get on your why.

Great place to stay. Minervas was awesome. The waiter was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The kids had fun at the pool. My only complaint is the unfriendly staff member at breakfast.

This is the third time that I have stayed at this location. I always sleep well, and the staff is very friendly. The rooms a large with plenty of space to move. I would recommend this motel to others.

Husband, dog, and I stopped here without a reservation. The motel was able to accommodate us and apologized for not having any available ground floor rooms. The second floor room they provided didn't have a microwave, but the desk clerk had maintenance deliver one. He arrived with it almost before we were in the room! The king-sized bed was very comfortable, and everything in the room was clean and in good repair. It was a busy Friday evening, and even though our room was located at the front of the motel near the stairs, it was very quiet. The breakfast offerings were extensive; and the front desk staff and management were friendly and accessible. The dog appreciated not having to dip into her savings account to pay a pet fee for her night's lodging. She gives the Best Western Kelly Inn in Yankton four paws.

We had a suite with a queen bed for 4 nights over labor day weekend. Stayed with 2 dogs and 2 people. The room was huge with full size sofa, coffee table, desk and chair and large bathroom. I can't uderstand why they don't put a king size bed in this room, theres plenty of space and for a "suite" a person kind of expects a king bed. But otherwisw the hotel was very nice and clean, nice finishes. The hotel has an adjoining restaurant and bar which is very good and so convenient. There is a nice grassy area behind the hotel for walking the dogs. They have a big pool and hot tub area which is great for families. Didn't really use it but it was very nice.

Always a pleasant experience at Best Western Kelly Inn Yankton. Staff were pleasant and courteous, room was very clean and the noise level in the hotel was very minimal. The only downside was the highway construction that made the entrance to the hotel a little tricky.

This hotel is always clean and the restaurant is very good. No need to go looking for a restaurant or lounge. It's right on the main highway and easy to get into and out of. There is road construction now but still easy to get into.

This Best Western was my 1st choice when visiting Yankton SD. A full service service hotel makes traveling easier with Dinner, Lounge, with not having to DRIVE anywhere as that makes for a safe place to stay

I was happy to have a hotel that allowed dogs and did not charge all the extras just to have your pet. I had one dog with me. I recommend getting a poolside room if you have a pet, so they can see you through the window since they cannot be in the pool area.

We arrived at the hotel without a reservation because quite honestly, we wanted to see what the hotel looked like first. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the interior was remodeled and very clean. Our room & beds were very comfortable. The front desk assistant was extremely friendly and welcoming! It was nice to have the restaurant attached. Breakfast was your average free continental/hot breakfast.

My stay was excellent! Everything was in working order and the room appears to be updated recently. The unit was comfortable and everyone was very pleasant. The breakfast was better than most inclusive breakfasts.

Hotel staff is VERY nice and helpful. Rooms are kept clean. Although when your room is cleaned they can forget stuff so you have to call the front desk. The pool my kids loves! The slide was great! Have stayed there twice and will do so again when we go back. Also if you want to pay cash make sure the front desk knows what they are talking about. When we went to pay with cash they had already charged our credit card. So yeah...but over all I would say go for it!

This is a great hotel for families. The pool area has a baby pool, jacuzzi, and the big pool has a slide and basketball hoop. It's a very clean hotel with a nice decor. The breakfast is terrific. They had good bacon, little cheese omelet triangles, waffles, and the usual breakfast fare. It was a good breakfast that had actual taste. The staff were all friendly to us, and it was priced right. I wish we had more time to spend at the hotel and in Yankton. It's a great place, and I hope we can get back up there.

We were attending my daughter's wedding, and because the hotel's site said "Pet Friendly" we brought our dogs. We had crates for them, so that when we left the room for the rehearsal and wedding we could not worry about them getting into anything. However, we found out that you could have the dog in the room, but only if you were there too. So, despite the fact that they knew I was there for a wedding, and therefore would be leaving the room occasionally, no one told me anything about "their policy" until I showed up. I had to find a last minute kennel so I could go give my daughter away. It would of been nice to have know this before I showed up, kenneling my dogs in Omaha would of cost me 1/2 what I had to pay there, plus I could of found cheaper places to stay. The only thing stopping me from giving this a 1 out of 5 is the attached restaurant

We had a very good stay in this hotel. I would recommend it to anyone. Quality of service was poor in the Bar/Restaurant. We waited for 17 minutes to order a drink twice during our stay. Bar/Restaurant staff was very slow to see if we needed another drink or take order for food.

I love this place, normally staying here two times a year. The rooms are nice & clean and the employees are very hospitable. I normally have a dog with me and the hotel staff welcome my pet. The ample grounds around the hotel are wonderful for dog walks.

We have been staying at the Kelly Inn for decades when we visit family in Yankton. It was always the best hotel in town, but not anymore. It is showing it's age (as I mentioned, it's been around for decades!) and it just doesn't feel clean. Our biggest problem was that we were put in inside rooms facing the pool and weren't given another option. These rooms are horrible dark caves with no sunlight. Back when we had young kids in our party it was a trade off because we had easy access to the pool, but we were not doing any swimming this trip but we still had to suffer the horrible cave rooms. We checked in and went to our rooms and before we even sat on the bed or anything we remembered that we needed to request to not have an inside room. We went back to the desk and the less-than-helpful woman said we couldn't switch because housekeeping had gone so there wasn't anyone to clean our rooms we just stopped in. While I appreciate that they don't let someone hang out in a room and then move somewhere else and I might end up in that room where someone already spent time, we were not there more than a minute and didn't mess up anything. (One note on the woman at the desk... Normally the staff is very friendly and helpful. This may have just been a bad day for her, but she was uncharacteristically unhelpful and unconcerned about our request.) If you stay here, definitely request a non-cave room! But, better yet, go over to Broadway and stay and the very nice Holiday Inn Express.

Beds were comfortable, nice pool and hot tub, good hotel breakfast with very friendly attendant, restaurant, bar attached. Reasonably priced. rooms could use some updating. I've stayed here before and will again.

We have stayed at this property on numerous occasions. For the price we feel it is a good value. Our room appeared to have had new carpet and furnishings in the last year. Excellent on site restaurant.

Typical Best Western Kelly inn style of Motel. Actually pretty good for it's age I'd say. Room has been updated some. Nice, clean, well kept. Beds are maybe aged a bit but decent. AC's are too but it was VERY hot when we stayed. Bathroom fan was noisy and that drives me crazy. I haven't stayed here yet where the bathroom fan WASN'T noisy! Lol... There's been some updating of the lobby area I'd guess... Overall a nice decent place. I got what I paid for. I typically stay at Holiday Inn Express if that helps and this is one notch down for sure but they try! For price they ask, HEI is similar in price and much nicer but then they are newer of course! Attached restaurant is VERY nice but not low cost so keep that in mind if you are a family and looking to dine in. Nice restaurants and low cost don't go together very well so this is NOT a knock against them at all. Good food and good value!

Excellent hotel with recent renovations. Professional, friendly staff; clean rooms with comfortable beds and wi-fi. Good selection of breakfast items and coffee that's real coffee (not chicory and weak).

We enjoyed the hotel and went to eat at the attached restaurant that evening. The food was really good but we felt that the food was pricey for the quantity that you received. We would stay here again but the hotel is away from the main part of town and away from other eating establishments.

great experience!! this stay was for a family celebration and our rooms were a together is our continuing visiting was easy to do. and the breakfast had a great amount of choices to eat. i would comment this motel to anyone who would be coming to Yankton.

This is an older property and there is simply no hiding that fact. The rooms have been updated but certain aspects of the room--like the TV--are ancient. The breakfast is standard fare for an included breakfast but these days you see much better included breakfasts than is offered here. I'd say it's an okay place to stay if you're looking for the basics and are comfortable in a place that is obviously old-school (but not old-school in a charming way). The staff was helpful and pleasant and there was plenty of parking. The restaurant is thought to be excellent but is really not so excellent actually. People seemed to be enjoying the indoor pool. Yankton is a cool town but it's possible lodging options are limited.

We stayed 3 nights. They have a great family pool area. Spent a lot of time there. The staff is friendly and helpful. Good breakfast - free. Clean rooms. Easy location to get to. Wonderful restaurant. Nicely updated.

We had over 8 rooms reserved over Memorial Day weekend, 2017. All of the rooms were reserved according to our requests. Breakfast each morning was great. Minerva's restaurant in the hotel is great to have available in the afternoon or evening and the food is very good. The rooms were clean and supplied with necessities.

I have stayed at the Kelly many times over the years as I have family in Yankton. They have done a lot of work to keep the facilities top notch. But the beds, they are amazing. They are very comfortable. The breakfast is very good with anything you might want and an attentive staff that keeps the food coming during busy times. I highly recommend the Kelly Inn.

My room was fine for a short, two-night business trip. It was large and clean -- no complaints. There is a complementary breakfast which is nothing special. Front desk staff are very friendly and the restaurant/bar, Minerva's, is a nice place to unwind.

This is a great place to stay while in Yankton, particularly if traveling east on the way to Vermillion for USD events as rooms there are generally way overpriced. The associated Menerva's Restaurant is very good overall and offers some good meal and drink specials particularly on theirTuesday burger night.

Room was dirty, housekeeping was poorly trained. Poolside room was a poor choice, the loud groups kept all of the children up until after 11. Breakfast options were limited to simple carbs and quality was poor.

I've now travelled to Yankton four times and on three of them I've stayed at the Best Western Kelly Inn. Why? Well simply put, its the best hotel in Yankton in my opinion. The hotel is a little worn in places but the rooms are clean and spacious. The staff are fantastic and the stand out team member is Clay who manages the bar and restaurant. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Yankton.

I stayed at the Best Western in Yankton for a few nights and had a great stay! Check-in was quick and smooth, the front desk personnel were friendly and helpful and my room was clean and comfortable! There's a restaurant/bar at the hotel that had surprisingly good food, so much so that I ended up eating most of my meals there instead of out on the town! The drinks were a little weak and very metered for the price. There's a large pool area that had a nice slide for kids and a small workout room. The only complaint I have is that there is no elevator to get up to the 2nd floor. This wasn't too big of a deal for me as I was travelling relatively lightly however I could see it being a pain in the back if you had several bags. All in all I would stay here again.

We stay at this place for our annual bull sale and it always lives up to our expectations. We were traveling recently and trying to decide where to stay. When we realized we were close to Yankton we decided to see if we could get a room, we were lucky as we got the last room before it filled up. The restaurant is the best one in Yankton. I made the statement when we moved in that it felt like we were home again.

The staff was very friendly when we arrived. The hotel was in the process of renovations we were fortunate to get a room in the renovated section. It was great beds were comfortable very clean. The breakfast was an average breakfast for a hotel. The hotel has a restuarant attached which was nice. We would definitely stay there again.

This is a really well run hotel. Not the newest but very clean with great staff. Restaurant / Lounge are excellent and convenient. Meeting facilities are available.Easy access and close to a lot of interesting stores in downtown Yankton.

Couldn't have been a nicer facility with friendly staff. The breakfast was exceptional with a variety of items on usually seen. We arrived late in the evening and restaurant was still open and the food was great.

This was a great family stay. Pool water was a little funny colored. Hallways were very chilly. Breakfast was great. Beds were great. We were in one of the smaller rooms this time. Last time we stayed had a little bigger room. (Same rate) Staff was very helpful. Check in always seems to take a long time there. Be prepared to stand and wait even when no one in line! Clean.

We come to South Dakota every year and bring a hunting group of 80-100 hunters. Everyone has had nothing but excellent service by Sara and her entire staff. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling for business or pleasure. They will always try to accommodate any special needs you have and make you feel like family. Will always be a loyal customer!

Our family visits yearly during the winter months. We have enjoyed many years of reunion like stuff @ your location. We have a blast every year!! We have a 5 year old daughter who is on a gluten free restriction. I just wanted to give a huge shout out to your breakfast room employees. One of your female staff walked our daughter into their kitchen area and assisted her in picking out some tasty gluten free options for breakfast. She really made our daughter happy and feel special and for that we really appreciate your staff going that extra mile and making our daughter super happy! We've done a lot of traveling and hotels stays lately and this one tops the cake. We truly appreciate you guys making our daughters meal a little more special than normal. Thanks a heap!!

Needed room for night no reservations. Counter personnel were great. Pet friendly most important travel with my dog all the time Jesse art to fine good motel that can be pet friendly. Hallways were under referbishment

This place has always been good about upgrading there facility and are in that process again. Good value with perhaps the best restaurant in the area attached. I certainly will be staying there again.

We always stay here when we return to Yankton...but that may be coming to an end. Peeling wallpaper, missing baseboards in the hallway and missing basketball hoops from the pool play area made us wonder why our beloved home away from home was so rundown. Renovations? Changing to a Best Western? We don't really know. But the final kicker was having to have our room sprayed for spiders in the middle of our stay...AND the prices had gone up! We weren't even there over a high volume time. Extremely disappointed.

Room was clean and staff was friendly, although rates are a bit pricier than nearby competitors. One bed (headboard) was in disrepair. Otherwise, a very nice stay for 6 nights. They have a nice restaurant (Minerva's) which had great food and good service. Good complementary breakfast also. Will likely return.

Yes, it's an older hotel but the staff are so friendly. I spent 5 nights there and really enjoyed my stay. As an added bonus, there is a bar and restaurant attached to the hotel - great food. I was also very impressed with the cleaning staff - they really work hard to make your stay a pleasant experience. There were even guys checking the drains in each room just to ensure there were no problems. The location is also good. I will stay there again next time I'm in town.

Purchased 3 rooms on line for my daughters birthday, took the man at the hotel over 30 minutes to get me my keys, refusing to give me two of the rooms I prepaid! and talked down to me like trash. after I finally was able to get all 3 keys , I noticed the rooms were on different floors when I had reserved 3 rooms by each other so that took another 10 minutes. Everything else was ok but the long check in was a mess.

We enjoyed our stay. This is a fine hotel. The staff are pleasant and helpful. We would be glad to stay here again if we ever return to southeastern South Dakota. We are happy to recommend this hotel to others.

Friendly reception, and very clean. Very comfortable bed with lots of plug-ins by the bedside table. Room had frig and microwave. Large bathroom with good light and a good shower, although the bathroom fan was very loud. Breakfast was good although the layout was awkward.

I've been an annual guest of the Kelly for years and it never fails to impress. I am affiliated with the NFAA, and have to attend regular events at HQ next door so it's ridiculously easy and convenient to walk across the lawn to the building. Ive come to expect very friendly, very efficient people at the desk, they always seem to have a smile and I've never had a negative interaction in 6 years. I've seen dozens of large parties, weddings, groups all be treated the same exact way. For me as an archer, the connection to the NFAA property does not go unappreciated. They understand our unique requirements and do all they can to meet them. Rooms are 100% always. Clean, neat, fresh and all the amenities are 100% on point. The restaurant is amazing, great fresh food for lunch dinner and late night. They never seem to miss a trick. Same with the bar. Full, friendly, well stocked and experienced staff. I've never hit the pool, so no clue what thats like, but I see loads of families using it...must be OK. Dont forget the large continental breakfast room. pastries, cereal, fruits, juices, coffees, teas, generally eggs and bacon and they also have fresh waffle makers. Absolutely perfect for the early riser who needs a solid to the day!

This is a very nice hotel. The staff went above and beyond for us. They accommodated us for an early check in with out any problems. The room was clean and pleasant. The restaurant on site is a very nice advantage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This hotel had everything I wanted in a hotel. Easy to find, lots of parking, great staff, tasty breakfast in a clean and comfortable setting, delicious food in restaurant, and a lounge with a happy hour!

This hotel was everything we expected of Best Western. It had all the amenities that we needed. The restaurant was especially great as we had been driving all day and it was raining so we were glad to not have to travel further.

For one of the first times in a long time, the beds were good at a hotel. No sagging on the edges or ends. Our room was clean and basic which was just what we needed. Restaurant that is attached to the hotel (and I can't remember the name) was very good-really recommend that you try it. Its out of the main downtown area and quieter which was nice. Right next to a large archery complex. We didn't use the pool but a friend who was rooming on the side next to the pool said that some people were there past the closing time and it was quite loud but the hotel was full that weekend. Breakfast area was kept clean and well stocked. There was a large group on the Saturday and Sunday but they did a good job keeping up.

We stayed in a King room, which was roomy and comfortable. This hotel is pet-friendly, which is why we picked the Best Western. First time bringing a dog with us. It all worked out great. The bed was very comfortable. Our room was quiet and very clean. The towels are really soft and make you feel pampered. The staff was just terrific---helpful and very pleasant. There is a restaurant onsite, which made it convenient for us. I was very happy we chose this hotel. I would return again.

After getting to the room, realized the rollaway I'd requested for our third person was not in the room, so had to head back to the lobby and make sure it was sent. It arrived very quickly. We had to move furniture all over the place because the room really wasn't all that big once you had two queen or king beds in it. The room was fine - but nowadays the hotels seem to be skimping on blankets, and this particular hotel only had a little decorative thing across the foot of the bed, so there was no bedcover to add some warmth. There were plenty of towels for three women although I wish they'd add plenty more washcloths. They go fast. The room itself was clean, odor free, etc. The pool does not open until 9 am and closes at 10 pm. This means that early risers who need to leave early can't use the pool or hot tub, and adults can't have access to the pool at adult hours. Seems pretty restrictive for no reason. I don't see why the pool can't be opened at 7 a.m., then closed to children after 8 p.m. and open to adults until Midnight. The complimentary breakfast was nice - plenty of options, including hot waffles, hard boiled eggs, coffee, yogurt, cereal, etc. The cleaning crew didn't take or replace the towels we had placed on the bathroom floor, so we had to get a few more towels sent by for the 2nd night. The restaurant was nice but the staff doesn't say when something is extra, so a few of us were surprised by some extra charges. Perhaps the young bar staff and servers don't realize that we older folks don't always have our readers on to see the charges on the menu. It wasn't all just the menu - a friend asked for a salad instead of a side and wasn't informed that it was extra. I asked just before he ran off with the order and he did say it was extra, so she chose something that wasn't instead. On our second night they were very rushed and trying to bring out the plates with extra staff who didn't really know how to serve and landed gravy in my lap. A number of people came by and apologized and promised amends, which I advised were not necessary and so we didn't get any that I'm aware of. The bill was paid by someone else (who wasn't wearing her readers) so I have no idea. The food itself was tasty enough. I had a sirloin with tasty sauce although a tad chewy. I'd have ordered the prime rib special but they were out of it. My pork chop the next night was OK as well. Drinks are fairly weak unless you order a double. WARNING: There are no elevators. All in all a decent stay, although I felt the room was a bit expensive considering that it wasn't all that big and the services were average.

Perfect for family, friends, couples, business or just by going solo. Breakfast every morning is perfect. Staff is great! Restaurant staff are awesome as well as the food! Rooms are being updated as well as the hotel - awesome pool with slides and baby pool- can't find anything better within this price range at any other hotel around

The bed was just as comfy as other Best Westerns. The breakfast was just as hot and plentiful as others. The ranking slipped because the hotel is across the street from the train tracks and twice during the night the train passed through with horn tooting. The other difference I will note our room had two entrances one from the parking lot and one on the interior hall - convenient for keeping an eye on the car and loading and unloading quickly but different.

Perfect for the Occasion Wedding weekend. Hotel was perfect for families. Room was clean & spacious. Included a microwave and fridge. Breakfast included . Large room off the lobby for breakfast. The staff kept it very stocked & clean. They care about your experience. Convenient to town & all venues. Pool was enjoyed by many! Nice layout. Good parking. Restaurant called Minerva's attached to the hotel.

I've stayed in the hotel before, and it's very nice. However, I am very disappointed with my most recent experience. I'm traveling on official government business, and the project has been delayed because of factors beyond my control. Apparently the reservations were made with a "no refund" stipulation--I do not recall seeing that, but I don't dispute it either. I've spoken to Corporate and the local staff but they will not refund. Because I do not want to subject the rest of my group to this risk, I will make every effort to put my group in a different hotel the next time we visit Yankton. Yes, I realize I probably agreed to the no-refund arrangement, but I'm giving more than a week's notice. They got me fair and square, but some flexibility and good will sure would have been nice.

Comfortable bed, friendly staff. Good meal at Minerva's . Our fire alarm went off in the middle of the night after the air conditioning went on, however, the staff were so polite and accommodating that we left happy. I can recommend these accommodations to any weary traveler.

By far the best Best Western I have ever stayed out. Lovely lobby with friendly and efficient staff at the front desk; Spacious and nicely decorated rooms; excellent breakfast options (special thanks for the fruit salad). We were also delighted to find a great restaurant (Minerva's) for dinner attached to the hotel; very convenient if you get in late. Plus this motel had the friendliest and happiest cleaning staff that I have ever encountered.

Great place to stay as it has everything you need. comfortable beds, clean rooms, Indoor Pool, hot tub, friendly staff, restaurant, Bar and good breakfast. Hotel is a little dated but well maintained and all at a reasonable price. Great stop so when you get to your room you don't have to drive anywhere to get food, drink and you can relax. Wifi was average for a hotel. Will stay again when in area.

Spent the night in Yankton with a group of 7 friends. We took 4 rooms. Staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a nice evening meal at the restaurant inside the motel. The morning breakfast was good too. I will say that the rooms were priced at the high end of good value.

My husband and I aren't campers, so we chose to stay in Yankton. I was really impressed with the nice, large room. The amenities were terrific and everything worked! We used the interior door to enjoy the nice breakfast including waffles, but we were happy to have an exterior door to our car when it was time to head out to the lake. Many of our family stayed also and were able to be grouped together. So glad that all the rooms are non-smoking too. We'll stay there again and recommend it to your family.

The hotel is located along the main road West of town. The room was very nice. It had 2 entrances – one to the interior hallway and the other to the outside parking area making loading/unloading luggage very convenient. There was sufficient surface space & electrical outlets around the room for devices. But some of the switches were in strange places requiring a search to find them. It was a long walk from the room to the lobby. The main course for breakfast was biscuits and gravy so we found a better place in town to eat a hot breakfast. The hotel is not conveniently located to services in town. But the restaurant on site for dinner (Minerva's Grill And Bar) was outstanding. It even offered room service. There was no pet fee and the pet policy held destructive pet owners accountable for their pet's conduct rather than collecting from other pet owners! It was nice to have waste collection stations around the hotel. There was enough space on the hotel grounds to exercise the dog. A breath of fresh air considering the area. Thanks.

Had a room at the Holiday Inn Express; newer, better part of town, but 50% more. Checked in, couldn't get the internet to work (even with help), desk chair was crap, room had a weird odor to it, two queens, when we reserved a single king. Called BW Kelly, got a single king and for less. To be sure, its an older motel, but well maintained and clean. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was fine but crowded. All in all, not great but very comfortable. WIFI worked great! Thanks!

When in Yankton SD, we try to stay at Kelly Inn. It is well located, clean and comfortable. Attached to the hotel is Minervas restaurant with a full bar. This is a very good restaurant, and together they are a great destination.

Fantastic place to stay. Clean rooms with a friendly staff and great food in the Minervas, a must try when you stay there. Don't tell the bar tender what drink you want, ask him to make you something, the man makes some otherworldly drinks.

Best Western Kelly Inn has nice looking rooms with good lighting and lots of electric outlets to charge your devices. There is also an attached restaurant, a rare amenity in hotels at this price level. We are a group of friends-pilots of small airplanes who stopped overnight, We needed a good rest and we got it. They even gave us free ride to the local airport.

Location is a little odd, but once we found it, the experience was great. Restaurant adjacent was a great addition. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if in the area

The room was clean and modern, pool area is very nice and it's attached to a good restaurant. Checking in and out was very easy and the staff was great about arranging for cabs to and from the river area.

Stayed here two nights for family reunion. Very comfy beds, nice breakfast(but small room to eat in), water park fun for kids. We rented a conference room for our family meals and that worked great too. Breakfast staff wonderful! Helpful to my kids and friendly and always replacing items. Not sure why we got bracelets for pool as no one had them on and no one checks for them. Also no elevator! This was bad for my grandma in a wheelchair as the room we used was on second floor. Otherwise nice place!

We spent just 1 night at Kelly Inn, and liked that the hotel is back off the highway, so not much traffic noise. Parking is ample. We thought the interior was nicer than the exterior, which has a dated look. Check-in was a bit slow but no fault of hotel (I got behind guests with a million questions and special requests). Our room was on the 2nd floor; there is no elevator but it was an easy climb. The room was very clean and modern. Nice king bed and pillows. Good shower. Quiet room. Only disappointment of any kind was continental breakfast. The room is quite small, making for very tight quarters for a hotel with lots of rooms (and guests wanting to eat). Breakfast offerings were minimal - no eggs. But we did okay with cereal and muffins. Overall though, we had a good stay and would recommend the Kelly Inn to anyone needing a room in Yankton. The room rate made it an excellent value!

The Staff at the Kelly Inn was awesome! Every single person I talked with was extremely friendly and helpful. For that reason alone I would recommend this place. The breakfast was good. The workout room is decent too. The attached Restaurant (Minervas) was really good too!

Very good service, Minerva's restaurant was a pleasant surprise for a small town --- really enjoyed it. The rooms were clean -- as they should be. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the bill was under the door as requested.

The hotel has a great restaurant, Minerva's. The best in Yankton. Outside of a noisy air conditioner and a shower without a curtain this may be the best choice in Yankton.Since I have to have at least 200 characters in my review I will sat that the desk staff was very informative and helpful and would have brought a shower curtain if I had requested one..The grounds of the hotel were well maintained and were clean.

My family was in town over the 4th visiting family. The Kelly in more than satisfied our stay in the following areas: Friendly staff. Well maintained hotel. Comfortable beds. Clean rooms. Great house keepers. Best hotel in Yankton SD without a doubt.

Rooms have an outdoor accessible door for you to enter straight into your room from outside, - this was new to me. I wasn't sure if I felt safe 100% of the time, but it all worked out. Wasn't the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in either. It was rather noisy, lots of slamming doors from neighboring occupants. Work out room wasn't accomodating at all, treadmill was older than me. No place for you to get a drink of water or refill water bottles. The only positive was the price point -I booked this hotel at the last minute and it wasn't outrageous.

I travel for busines. I book my room on short notice, and 99% of the time they get me in the type of room I want (THANK YOU). Rooms are very clean and well furnished. Breakfast has a good selection of hot preparied food. Front desk has taken care of all of my requests: directions; stamps, envelops, extra towels. Great dinner resturant attached!!!

This is a great hotel, very clean and they have free breakfast. I have stayed here before and have always had a great experience. People are friendly and bed is very comfortable. The rooms were quiet even though there were a lot of people in the hotel.

All staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean and beds are comfy...showers are nice too. The pool area is AWESOME!! Breakfast room tended to be crowded, but the staff was efficient and quick at getting tables cleaned up and ready for the next group. Definitely recommend!

This was a wonderful experience! We were in town for a graduation and were just so thrilled by so many things about this hotel. The pool and pool area were fantastic! Our kids had so much fun with the slide and basketball hoops. There was plenty of room for our extended family to hang out. The free breakfast was great and we were so appreciative of the gluten and dairy free options. You don't find that in many bigger cities or bigger hotel chains. Every single staff member was so above-and-beyond friendly! Our experience at Minerva's (the restaurant in the hotel) was also great. We had a few meals there as well as my nephew's graduation party. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating and all of the food was wonderful.

Stayed at this hotel for an archery tournament at the next door Easton NFAA Archery facility. Great location if you're an archer participating in a tournament but otherwise was not that impressed with the hotel. It's decent, with nothing glaringly deficient but everything is just a little older, not as nice as I would have liked. I usually stay at Hampton Inn and while they only cost a few dollars more per night they are far ahead in quality and service.

Had a 15 hour car ride. As soon as I got there, exhausted, we were welcomed with a very modern rustic check in area. Everyone was super nice. If you are there for an archery tournament I would highly recommend it as it is right by the venue and it was very clean. Awesome stay!

Although there is a facility no-smoking policy, the hotel room had been smoked in. The lobby was attractive. The rooms were okay. It's a bit older property, with a Minervas attached. The bathroom could have been cleaner. The staff were curteous and efficient.

This was a good place to stay. The motel may be better suited for vacation and family travel than business or solo, however. The room was nice a large, with a comfortable bed. The tub/shower drained very slowly, and I hate taking a shower ankle deep in water. I asked maintenance to look into it, but it was not fixed during my stay. I have actually unclogged drains at motels myself, and realize it is a gross job, but man it's got to be done. Because of a nice pool and slides, there seem to be many children at the motel. Their running and yelling in the hallways can be irritating at night. Luckily, the pool closes around 10:00, I guess, because that is when things seemed to settle down both nights I was there. I was in an upstairs hallway at the front of the building, perhaps the rooms with outside entrances are quieter. At checkout this note was under my door asking for 93 cents more for the stay. Kinda strange....I guess I am lucky the electricity and water did not go up during my stay there.

We stopped on our trip to stay at Best Western of Yankton because we have never been there and wanted to see the town in the day light. All the people at the hotel where very nice and polite. The bed was so comfortable I thought I was at home.

I can honestly say that the food at the Yankton Best Western is some of the best hotel food I have ever had. We had friends staying at the hotel who also thought the food was outstanding. The room, especially the bathroom should have been cleaned better. The WIFI was terrible, almost non-existent. The free breakfast was OK, the bed was comfortable. The pool area looked clean. The hot tub was hot and looked clean.

This is a good place to lay your head. The staff is very helpful. I will be staying there again. The hotel is located close to town. The restaurant is right there so you don't have to go any where to eat. Have eaten there a couple of times and then at the Mexican restaurant El tapio is also a great place to eat.

It was a nice clean place and the front desk staff and the continental breakfast lady were very nice. We stayed here for one night before the South Dakota kayak challenge. It was very close to the boat ramp and initial access point. I would stay here again.

We've stayed here for the past 20 years and this is the first time we felt disappointed. Not much for breakfast, bed sloped to the center, a bit more shabby than it was 2 years ago. Service was excellent

We stayed in Yankton for our son's graduation in Vermillion. The drive is an easy one and takes under 30 minutes. The hotel staff is pleasant, the rooms are large, and a fridge is provided in the rooms. There is no elevator, so if the stairs give you trouble, ask for the ground floor.

In town for a birthday - the room was great and it was upper poolside. Having food and drinks on property was a bonus. Front staff was as nice as the rest of the staff. Great place to stay for family functions and parties.

We recently stayed at the BW Kelly Inn for our daughters wedding in the area. The hotel is well maintained, pool & spa area were always clean and relaxing. We did not eat at the resteraunt within hotel but walked in and it looked very nice, locals had only good to say about it which means a lot. Our room (interior pool side) was spacious and the beds were Very comfortable. Even though there were patrons at the pool area we could not hear them which is awesome. it is easy to get in and out of and the staff is very friendly. There was a golf tournament the same weekend and hotel was booked solid, only issue we had was the water was a little cool in the shower, but I imagine hundreds of people at the same time, any location would probably have the same issue. The continental breakfast was nice for a quick bite.

Room was nice and clean. Staff was very nice and breakfast was good. Clock radio was horrible so bring your own alarm clock. Exercise room was good but you have to walk to the front desk to get the key to use the treadmill and room has no water.

Best Western Kelly Inn, is decent place to get a good nights sleep. This is my second stay. Property is older but well maintained with good offering of amenities, it's pet friendly with designated pet rooms. Minerva's restaurant is right on property offering good food at fair prices.

I stayed here the night before running a marathon - and I actually slept! The beds are comfortable, rooms are generously sized, motel was quiet even though it was completely booked. Good breakfast! The staff is friendly and helpful. They even allowed me to shower in the pool area after my race even though it was a couple of hours after check-out time. (And the pool area is great for families!) I'll stay here again if I'm ever in the Yankton area!

Travelling on the road with pets and without a reservation left us worried that we could find a hotel that did not charge excessive pet fees when we decided to stop for the night. Best Western delivered a room perfect for our needs. The ground floor room assigned to us had a door direct to the outside as well as a door to the inner hotel hallway located close to breakfast room and the Minerva restaurant located on site. The room was clean, fresh and nicely laid out. Supper was excellent and the breakfast choices plentiful. We will plan our future trips to make this our stop for sure.

This hotel has been a great place to stay. I travel here once a month and it has alway be a clean place and the staff has always welcomed me. The Internet needs worked on, last night I could not even connect with password to login it keep kicking me out.

The room was huge, clean, and had comfy beds. The pool area was nice. Children would like it a lot. The breakfast choices were great. No one should go away hungry:) The wifi in our room was very weak.

Great beds. Clean. Good food at the Grill. People that seem to be glad you are there. Had zero problem. Rested extreemely well! The place was virtually full but seemed not to be crowded. Well done. I would or will stay there again. Have no problem in recommending for any of the reasons.

Had a great stay with kids. Enjoyed every part of our stay. The rooms were nice and very clean. The pool was fun, the hot tub relaxing. The WiFi was excellent. Will defiantly stay at the Kelly Inn Yankton on our next trip to South Dakota. The staff was friendly and the service excellent. Thanks for making our stay pleasant.

This is one of the nicest hotels that we have stayed in. We travel very frequently for business and this hotel and staff far exceeded our expectations. We will definitely stay again when we are i the area and we will definitely recommend to anyone.

We favor this motel because the layout is perfect for the dog with the outside door and the adjacent grassy field. In addition the staff has always been very helpful and accommodating. We also like the convenience of the Minerva restaurant.

A good breakfast. Everything else was not what I expected. They did not change the sheets for 4 days - just made the bed! Because I booked on line through the Best Western web site they would not honor an AARP discount because I booked through a "3rd party". I used their web site to book!

We have stayed at this hotel for a number of years. We keep coming back because we are happy with the whole place. We have used a small meeting room to gather to eat and that too makes it a good value.

Overall, my stay here was good, but there was a fairly serious issue which caused me to give a lower rating. The room itself was spacious, clean and about what you would expect. My biggest problem was security. My room had both an interior and exterior entrance. The chain lock on the interior door was broken. I could still bolt the door, but as a single female traveler, I felt a little uncomfortable. Especially when there was a group of men who appeared to be working in the area and staying at the hotel. Ramkotas a known for having long rambling, somewhat dark hallways and I passed some of these workers in the hallway on several occasions. The exterior door also did not have any sort of chain lock. In addition, the walls were very thin and I heard the workers when they returned to their room at night and got up the next morning to leave for work. They weren't being loud - just speaking in normal tones which I could hear very well between the walls. These things all combined to make me feel a little less secure in my room than I would have liked. Aside from the safety and the noise level, it was a very good stay. The meeting room was adequate. The banquet food and restaurant service were excellent. With the exception of the evening front desk person, the staff was also very friendly and helpful.

Simply put this hotel is old. This creates both good and bad things. The good part is that the rooms are quite large and it is hard to hear between rooms because it is made of concrete. You also don't hear people going up and down the hall upstairs. The downside is that the rooms are kind of "cold" in decor and nothing really special. The metal doors to the hall also allow you to hear anything that is going on out there. If you are in a busy part of the hotel then there is going to be a lot of noise. We stayed three nights in two different rooms (our choice because of situation) and all of that was true in both rooms on two different floors. Many of the first floor rooms also have doors to both the hall and the outside. On the second night of our stay they were very busy and there was a serious shortage of hot water in the morning. This is really unacceptable. With all that said, the true good part of this hotel is the staff. We had a more complicated situation with our stay because we didn't know our hockey schedule. The ladies at the front desk were always pleasant and personable in helping us get through the weekend. The rock stars though were the ladies working the breakfast area. While the food was about average for a free hotel breakfast they were always hustling to keep everything stocked and when they were caught up they were always busing plates for you (I know, couldn't believe it). They asked how we did in the game and always thanked us for staying. Two straight days of biscuits and gravy certainly could have been avoided in favor of something else for those that don't like them. The two weekend mornings they tried to avoid trouble by setting up a table with coffee and pastries in the hall. It really worked pretty well. It was busy, but have seen a lot worse with less people. We did ask for a couple of extra blankets and supposedly the whole large hotel only had one extra blanket which was a little disappointing, but all in all the staff made up for an old building.

Very loud and Noisy. Kids in the halls all night and parents getting drunk and yelling at their kids. Really? Listened to the exterior door slam all night, next room cell phone constantly ringing and nobody answering. That's because the parents were in the pool area getting drunk, not knowing where their kids were. Have stayed here before, and it's always like this. The management obviously does not care as they never do anything about it, even after one complains or pleas with them. We're done staying here!

We were headed south, so booked a night in Yankton. We had a very pleasant stay. Jessica was on the reception desk when we arrived and she was great. later we had dinner in the restaurant, and Eric was our server. he was most congenial and willing to chat a bit with us. Service was quick and personable, and the food was very good. He made us fresh de-caf coffee;perfect. We liked the room and the breakfast, and were glad we'd been there.

Our family came from all over to celebrate our grandmas 90th... We have enjoyed the hotel & restaurant but the best part is the staff!!! Especially the breakfast crew, Jerri & Kathy!!! The cleaning crew also kept our room chemical free. Every is so sweet, thinking of moving from California to be around people who know what service means!

Great staff on the phone when making the reservation. Talked with Jessica and she was so helpful and quick in getting my reservation completed. Hotel was clean and very quiet. Restaurant had great food and also great staff. Overall stay was great! We were in Yankton to attend a funeral and it was great not to have any issues with our hotel

We booked a handicapped room and it was excellent. The shower was a walk in and was easy to use very clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is an attached restaurant, Minerva's, that was wonderful. The complementary breakfast was very good also.

The rooms look OK but there are bed bugs! I stayed in room 148 and I could've sworn I felt something crawling on me late at night. When I awoke the next morning, sure enough I was covered in bites that were swollen and terribly itchy! Never having encountered bed bugs my husband and I googled where to find them on the beds. Strangely enough there wasn't any evidence on the beds themselves. It wasn't until hours later we found them in the top corner of the ceiling closest to the side of the bed I had laid on. Went to the front desk and was greeted by a friendly desk clerk who switched our rooms right away and offered us a half off discount for the next night per the manager via text message I believe. Honestly if the weather wasn't so bad we would have just left because half off discount for an experience like this is terrible. Realistically, we should have had our whole stay complimentary! This is not the only problem-- when I went to wash my clothes in the pathetic excuse of laundry machines to get rid of any bed bugs that may have been left behind in my family's clothes, I asked the overnight desk clerk for change being that there wasn't a change machine and he was flat out rude and short with his answers. When I asked where I could get change he replied "i don't know go try a convenient store." My laundry should have been paid for by you people for your filthy bug infested room. One thing I will say is that I will NEVER come to this hotel again and I will NEVER be recommending this hotel to anyone either. You can also count on me writing a review on every single review outlet there is. Thanks for ruining my family's Christmas! Attached are some pictures I took of the corner that was infested with the bugs and also the pictures of the bites on my body. Now there is only a 10 picture limit on photography for this site but I can assure you there are plenty more photos of the bites that cover the rest of my body!!

found this hotel very clean and welcoming. they allowed us to travel with our family dog very easily. They even moved us from the second floor to a first floor room with an exterior door. THANK YOU!!!

Room Carpet was gross dirty. Room was not ready. Breakfast was good. Lobby was pretty. Pool and area nice and clean. Watch out for water blaster in pool. Nasty when people hit you in the face. Slow check in. Great check out. Rooms are dark. Beds are great. Poolside rooms are awesome location.

I was tired when I arrived. The stay was OK. I was up early. The breakfast was barely passable. The food was minimal in selection The room was crowded It was noisy I was tired when I left The day was not bright and cheery.

Kelly Inn Best Western is a great hotel! Clean rooms, helpful staff! They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Sara at the hotel actually reads the comments that come in and if there are any problems, she contacts you. That is customer service!

WiFi is unacceptable for the business traveler. I asked and there is no plan to upgrade. You might be able to get the business traveler once, but not again. Dirty dishes at the restaurant. I received a dirty glass at the restaurant and it grossed me out. The staff is friendly and the room was nice, just didn't make up for the shortcomings.

this hotel is very nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable, the beds are a little to soft for my taste, but the are nice beds if you like really soft ones. My kids love the pool! The breakfast is really yummy as well! Great place, good value!

The Best Western Kelly Inn was a welcomed port in a storm. The hotel was very comfortable and the services were much appreciated. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The fireplace in the Minerva's restaurant next door provided some needed coziness on a cold, windy November evening. The food at Minerva's was great and the beer was cold. The room was comfortable. The temperature was perfect and I could adjust it to suit my preferences. The bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower water pressure robust, the water temperature nice and hot. The WiFi worked well. Did not turn on the TV. Did not use the pool or fitness facilities.

Nice rooms, however if you have a poolside room be aware that you will be overcome with chlorine smell and noise. Once pool closes, smell goes away as does the noise. Highly recommend a room on their motel side, same rooms a lot less noise and smell. A huge high point is Minervas, downstairs in lobby. Excellent food and atmosphere.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Restaurant had some of the better food in town. Will stay there again if we go back Yankton for more hunting. There is a large swath of grass behind the Hotel which is perfect for walking you hunting dogs or pets.

We reserved a block of rooms for a family funeral. Kailee, the front desk worker catered to our every need. She provided silverware, a cake server, a wash cloth to clean tables, a glass of milk for a tired one year old and answered all of questions positively---she treated us like we were the only people staying in the hotel! The beds were super comfy, the breakfast was just fine--the usual hotel breakfast. The hotel lobby and restaurants have been remodeled lately and the rooms were fine but a bit dated although they were sufficiently appointed.

The Best Western in Yankton was very accommodating even with 2 weddings on the premise. Our room was nicely decorated and very clean. The king size posturpedic bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast had lots of items to choose from and were delicious. The staff was friendly and efficient when checking in/out.

From entering the lobby I was impressed by the lovely décor and the friendly smiling staff. Our room was clean and we had a restful nights sleep. The breakfast room was nice and the lady who tended it was smiling and ready to be of service. All in all this is a very satisfactory hotel.

Rooms are clean, comfortable and decent-sized. We really enjoyed our pool side room. We traveled with my sister's family and in-laws. Being pool side allowed us to socialize outside our rooms while the kids swam. Kids really enjoyed the water slide. Restaurant attached to the hotel was good. Hotel offers free breakfast. Choices were good and the staff worked hard to make sure the food was replenished on a timely basis and kept the area clean. I'd definitely stay here again.

Very inviting and friendly staff. Rooms are nice. We did not use the restaurant but Minerva's is known for good food. The rooms were comfortable but we were there for a very short time. It was quiet. The cost was reasonable.

this was our third year staying here during paddle fish season. we enjoy the atmosphere and friendly people. the pool area is kept clean and set up great for the smaller kids in the family as well as the large hot tub. breakfast was good. the restaurant serves very good food and is handy.

Great stay, comfortable beds, large room, plenty of activity options. Great location, easy to get around. We would highly recommend staying here. Food was excellant too. Staff was super friendly! Not much more I can say ...

The hotel was overall very clean and updated. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again. Also, my friend had a suite which was amazing! It was laid out like a one bedroom apartment and was VERY modern and updated.

I was in Yankton for business and spent the night at this hotel. Check in was quick and easy, my room was clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi worked great. I had a nice meal in the onsite restaurant, then a good nights sleep. The breakfast room was extremely warm, the air conditioning must not have been working in this area. Not a great selection of items, but enough to start the day. Would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the area and in need of an overnight stay.

A full hotel, polite and helpful ,check in clerks, greeted us as we arrived in a small town. Made to feel so welcome, and were there ,to answer our every need. I see a theme in Best Westerns. Which I like. Makes me feel like they like us, which is a good thing.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Got the very last room at the end of a very long hallway - which was fine. The only bad part was the Wi-Fi signal didn't reach that far, and I ended up only using the internet at breakfast. Speaking of breakfast - 2 mornings had sausage patties and scrambled eggs and 2 mornings had biscuits and gravy. All of it was edible and filling. They also had yogurt, assorted breads/bagels/donuts, waffles, juices and coffee. Minervas restaurant is attached to the hotel, so dinner is easy to get. Here's some info for picky sleepers - Walls/floors are a little thin - I was slept soundly, but could hear noises when I did wake up. Outside light was tough to block, room was basically lit up all night - again, I slept OK, and only noticed it when I woke up. Most rooms on the first floor have access from both inside and outside (keycard locks on both doors), which makes it easy to get bags in from the car. Location is a just a little bit outside of Yankton. Overall it was a very nice hotel with very friendly staff.

Nice rooms, desk people are great. Restaurant has great Sunday brunch. Exercise room with racquetball court, near archery center. Extra charge for refrigerator and they say pet friendly but charge much extra for your pet. The facility looks nice the meeting rooms are nice, just the extra charges bugged me. Other don't charge for refrigerators.

I have stayed at this location several times over the years and have usually had a good experience. This last visit was ok, I was a little frustrated as we had asked for a quiet room and when we checked in we were told by the person at the desk that the room we were given was in a quiet location. The room we were given was about 30 yards from the breakfast room and in the morning we heard the parade of folks on their way to eat. I guess I can't blame the facility for the rudeness of the people talking loudly in the hallway early in the morning, but it would have been nicer if the staff would have honored our request to have a room situated away from busy traffic areas. Otherwise the facilities are clean and most of the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a tick above average and the staff makes sure that everything is well stocked.
