Best Western Plus Lakeside Hotel

I have stayed in every hotel in this area and the best western is the cleanest and most modern. It is in good walking distance from the town center and located next to a new man made lake. Room service is good. Laundry issues on a few occasions, but quickly resolved. It is a simple and comfortable place to stay. Tea and coffee facilities in the room is a big bonus for me ! Especially hard to find in the area. Air conditioning is a must during the summer months. Best western is good for air con. Overall a good stay.

A basic Best Western hotel with rooms overlooking the lake - you can be as anonymous as you like. Considerable construction work is presently being undertaken on the roads around the hotel which means access is difficult and the smell of sewage is prevalent. The rooms are all clean and tidy with basic tea and coffee facilities, Breakfast is varied and the staff will offer additional choices as required. Limited vegetarian options and plenty of hearty fat in the eggs set you up for the day.

Nice modern hotel in lovely lake setting close to the town centre. The staff is not very welcoming and could do with some training on general basic customer service such as greeting customers when they enter or leave the building. We will definitely return to the town,one of the best city in Hungary.

Hotel is situated next to a beautiful lake and close to the downtown. Seems like it is a new hotel used mostly for business travelers. Rooms are nice and clean. Reception staff is helpful and very polite. Breakfast is served in the dining area in the lobby of the hotel what may be bit chilly during colder fall mornings. I think this hotel will meet all your expectations during your travels. The street in front of the hotel was under construction but google maps and their navigation did a great job to get us safe to the hotel with our car.

The team running this hotel is professional and tries to please the guest. We arrived early at 12noon before check in time and they told us our room was not ready.the lobby was full of people so we waited in the coffee shop. In less than an hour, they informed us that our room was ready and because of the delay had upgraded us to a lake view room (which has a wonderful view of the "pond"). The rooms are new and clean. Soap holder on the sink is defective but otherwise everything in the bathroom works well. Beds are comfy and you can request for different pillows (thank you for this - it's common in Asia but doesn't seem to be all that common in Europe hotels). No pool or wellness area. Just a sauna that you have to inform the receptionist to switch it on 40mins before use. Gym is small but you can run around the pond which is about 1km circumference. Wifi is good and we had an overall pleasant stay. IMHO, the location of this best western is off the beaten track. There's not much to see in this town. But if you are there, best western is a great option.

Lovely hotel next to rather large pond. Very peaceful, but great for kids. Large playground nearby, swimming pool as well. Kids specially enjoy canoeing in the pond. Great service and best air-conditioning in the country!

Your typical chain business hotel with all the amenities a business traveler might need. It was my second time there on a business trip and I was very excited to see that the park and lake next to the hotel were coming along nicely. It adds a lot to the hotel's flair, good job. The staff is particularly nice and very helpful. The breakfast choices are also sufficient.

Its not very often that I write a review where there is Nothing to complain about , this hotel is the exception. From the welcome to the departure we received first class service . Rooms to a very high standard Great lake side location Breakfast a great choice . Would definitely stay here again .

We stayed two nights in a nice room, with a quite good breakfast, there was not much around there, and we struggled to eat in a great restaurants locally, the walk around the lake was nice enough, the sauna was very good

We had two rooms over the weekend for a private visit to the city. We arrived early, but staff was very helpful to allow for early check-in so that we could have a shower before visiting friends. Staff was also otherwise very helpful, for example when we could not open the safe anymore. The hotel is nicely situated at a little park with a lake and swans. Rooms were clean and offered all what is expected from this class of Hotel. We also had dinner in the restaurant with good Hungarian kitchen. The only downside was room cleaning, as one of the rooms was simply forgotten (they started to clean one room when we left). We didn't really complain as we arrived late at night and wanted to sleep

We slept 2 nights here on our way to and back from Croatia. The location and the view is great, it is built next to a lake which is quiet and relaxing: birds, ducks, mosquitos :). Our 4 year old really enjoyed the playground that was 5 minutes walk away from the hotel. The hotel is clean, rooms rather small but enough for a one night sleep. The receptionist was very nice and polite, he gave us directions to the center and suggested also restaurants at our request. I would return here anytime.

The Ramada Inn Lakeside is a lively hotel that is tucked into a residential neighborhood next to a beautiful lake and walking trail. The rooms are roomy, modern, and clean. The restaurant is quite good and has a reasonable selection. You are just minutes away from "old town". The staff is courteous and responsive. Finally, the price of the hotel is a bargain for what you are getting in return.

I just stayed one night, and I was in such a hurry in the end that I didn't try the breakfast, but I had a good experience here. The location is really nice, the room is well-equipped, and when I asked to pay upfront as I knew that I'd be leaving early in the morning, the receptionist was really attentive and he immediately offered to have some takeaway breakfast prepared for me (which I foolishly declined, thinking I'd have time for breakfast which turned out not to be the case), so I was very satisfied with the customer service. I wouldn't choose another hotel if I had business again in the city.

Nice stuff nice rooms. We tried the breakfast only and it's 3 out of 5. Rooms equipped with led lights and nice business style. Beds are good. Bathroom was little stinky by the drain. Probably it got dry long time. Temperature control is perfect. Lake view is nice. Perfect parking area. Good signal for Internet.

Location is great, close to old town and right by a very nice lake. Free parking, free wifi. Stylish hotel. Very friendly, helpful and polite staff, both at reception and in the restaurant. We like the breakfast and liked the dinner. Free apples at reception. Gym is very small. Rooms were nice, heating was not perfect. The soap holders in the bathroom fall apart very easy. In general it was a very good experience, we will come back here.

This was a business trip and so we were amused, and not horribly disappointed to find the lake temporarily drained and "under construction"! This hotel was a pleasure to stay in, with friendly, smiling staff, modern decor, and tasty breakfast items. Rooms were comfortable with large bathrooms. Do not be discouraged by the exterior of this hotel as you drive up, because the interior is very attractive and has the feeling of being brand new. The hotel is quiet, since it is set back from any busy roadway. I hope to return next year and sit beside a newly filled lake!

I was there with a colleague for one night only and we enjoyed our stay here. Finding the hotel and parking were quite easy, the rooms were clean and spacious, the staff was friendly and helpful upon our arrival, we checked out late in the evening to avoid checking out in the morning (around 11 PM) and the receptionist was super cooperative. My room had lake view - but sadly, the lake is under construction, although I'm pretty sure it will look amazing in the future. The food was also decent. I would definitely recommend it as a hotel for business trips.

I'm travelling quite a lot around Europe mainly and I was surprised when I arrived to this hotel. In the first ilmpression the hotel looks quite new (probably less than 6 months) but finally it seems that even it's a Best Western Plus 4*, it seems that some problems are still present. I will start with the basics : In the room I cannot find the price of the mini bar foods/drinks The soap container in the bathroom is empty for the shower!! Completely empty so I have to go to the washbassin to find soap. I continue with the bathroom, it seems that the designers are very small or I'm very tall!! The shower is for people less than 1.80m and it cannot be adjusted for the height just the rotation of the shower head and finally the water is completely out as the water jet is not well oriented. I continue with the room, the curtain is dirty with chocolate or... It cannot be accepted for a 4* hotel and overall an Accord Hotel Group. Restaurant : Prices are correct (25€ for starter, drinks, main dish & dessert). Service is friendly, correct and very professionnal. Positive point : As the hotel is new, we can say that it's the start and most of the problem will be resolved in the close future. The WIFI connection is very good (restaurant and in my room - 3rd floor)

Clean, simple business hotel. Internet works well, BBC on TV, and restaurants nearby to walk to. The hotel lacks character but does the job. There is a med clinic next door and a park where you can walk. The lake is not much to admire and the area nearby seems depressed but it's a good place to sleep. Parking lot is spacious.

The location is not the best in town, but you just need 10 minutes walk to get into downtown. You get the most modern, good looking and comfy hotel in Szekesfehervar. I think the breakfast service could be better if they add some warm dishes, but in general it is a good service. It outstands my previous experiences in the region.

New built Best Western Hotel close to a small lake. Rooms very nice with Lakeview, very friendly staff. Restaurant is good, but only one waiter, so probably you need a bit more time when it is full. Place is a good choice for travels to Budapest and Balaton!

We organised a business conference in Best Western Plus Lakeside Hotel and we left with very good experiences. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The conference area is big enough for a more than a hundred people and equipped with modern technical appliances. The lunch was delicious and they provided a good selection of food. All together I was entirely satisfied with the hotel.

Such a shame this hotel gets the business it does and clearly wants more of it! My party stayed here for nearly a week, we couldn't all get rooms so half of us went to the Novotel. I then moved back for 3 nights, the first and last night were lovely, peaceful and restful, good breakfast, nice staff and a great setting. Amazing air con and beautiful rooms, all I could want after a hard week at work. The middle night was shocking... The reason we couldn't all stay together was due to a basketball tournament in town, and we got the full brunt of their celebrations! Youths running around the corridors, in various states of undress, sleeping in the hall ways, sweaty clothes and undergarments in the hall ways, banging on doors and screeching until at least 4 am. And it will only get worse as it would appear the hotel is building a Basketball court attached to another wing. I wasn't able to ring down to complain as the phone was dead and as a single woman I really didn't fancy confronting these hooligans. Staff should of dealt with this, probably by ringing the Police. Here is no way they couldn't hear or see what was going on. I pity housekeeping who had to clean up the mess. Such a big shame but if your going to book ask if there is a tournament on, if there is don't! It gets an excellent for what it is...a beautiful new hotel with lovely lake views.

Spotless hotel, modern and trendy. Ideal for business, have all the facilities one could need. I found the front desk staff really helpfull and friendly. I will definitely return because of the hotel and because of its fantastic location! Highly recommended!
