    « Best place. »

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Clean rooms. Good breakfast. You don't get bored as it changes daily. Loved the mini kitchen in our room. I made some treats for the staff. Easy to get In and out of location

    « 136 was discusting! »

There was cigarette ashes on counter and night table, bugs in the jacuzzi, food smeared on bed, stains on the sheets. We complained and they did nothing. Plus they told us where to park in town at night, and we got a $51 dollar ticket. I will never stay at a Best Western again.

    « Quick business trip »

Good place to stay for a quick business trips, comfort of rooms was nice, I have issues sleeping if bed is uncomfortable and the beds here are quite adequate to comfortable nights sleep. Rooms are nice sized and updated..

    5
    « Very nice »

Everyone here was very pleasant. Our room was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was an added plus. Breakfast was nice..... Simple, typical food but plentiful. The area was monitored and supplies kept filled. It was conveniently located for easy access to Atlantic City and Cape May. There were plenty of places nearby for dinner. We will definitely plan to stay here again.

« My home away from home »

My partner and I were visiting NJ in September when she was hit by a car while she was crossing the road on a WALK sign. She spent a total of 8 nights in AtlantiCare Hospital followed by 12 nights in the Bacharach Institute at Pomona. I needed somewhere to stay but had no idea how many nights the booking would be for. Howard, the manager, took all this in his stride and was extremely flexible with my booking (unlike another hotel I called) and I actually ended up staying for 14 nights. The staff were all very helpful, the free breakfast more than adequate and I was very comfortable throughout my stay. I had no car but there are several restaurants within walking distance plus a K Mart.

« Best best western ever »

This is my favorite hotel in this region and the best best western I have been to. Front desk always friendly and each room has a full kitchen . They also have a nice indoor pool. We have stayed here many times .

    « Nice stay »

We stayed there for three nights. The staff was pollite and helpful. The check-in was fast and easy. The room was big and had a complete kitcheen. The mattress seemed new and was very confortable. The room was clean and the maid did a good job. The only things were the carpet was stained and the floor of the bathroom in bad shape. The breakfeast was O.K. but not complete as the other Best Western, The place was quiet. We asked for the upper floor and it was as we wanted. When we went out in the evening we had some parking problems coming back as this hotel share a parking lot with a bingo hall.

    « Ironman AC 70.3 »

This hotel was a nice alternative to casinos for a pre-race stay, easy access to Bader field in the AM and a good value, racers should consider it for next year - having a full kitchen/fridge was also great for ironman athletes who like a lot fo their own food and drink

« Fine family vacation on a budget »

Beach hotels/motels are always less luxe than city hotels & the Atlantic City area has an abundance of seedy, run down places so I was very pleasantly surprised by this BW property. The rooms are very large with full kitchen, dinning table for 4 & pull out sofa which could easily sleep 2 adults & up to 4 kids. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable & I didn't smell any smoke (& I really hate smoke!). The people are friendly, breakfast is plentiful & there is a pool & picnic tables outside. There are rooms in the main building & several single story rooms out back. I really liked that there are stores, gas, liquor shop & Wawa just a few mins from the hotel. Plenty of fast food places. The TV has 200+ channels & there is free parking. Wifi was free but not as reliable as some places. The beach is 5-10 min drive. This is a nice, cheaper, safe place to stay as an alternative to the overly expensive, sketchy places closer to the Boardwalk in Atlantic City. I would stay again & bring my grandkids for sure.

« Best Western is best »

I have loved their studios. nice kitchenette. Spacious rooms. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. The only request is, they wash the utensils properly before handing those over to customers. I am sure they are given in the exact same condition the other guests are returning them.

« Air shut off room until you check in, takes forever to get room cool. Bold bad in bathroom. »

To save money owner keeps air shut off in rooms until you check in. Took hours for the super hot room to cool off. Tried for other rooms but clerk said it was same problem. thermostat on wall not working. Bad mold in bathroom.

    « Black mold? »

I am so surprised that this place has high reviews. You have to live in a dump to give this place great reviews. Our room stunk. We couldn't understand why. The next morning we realized that we had a bunch of what looked like black mold in our bathroom. I'm not an expert but I sent pictures to a friend who's a house inspector and he said it definitely looked like black mold. Other than that the room was just really outdated and run down. Pillows pretty poor. The breakfast was a big disappointment. The area was crowded, warm (bad AC), tables dirty. Scramble was dry and flavourless and breakfast patties dry and salty. I am really expecting more from a BW Plus. Oh I almost forgot. Thankfully there is only 3 floors but the elevator is crazy slow. It takes forever to start moving. I counted and from pressing the button it took 15 seconds before it started moving. Very slow in the morning when everyone was leaving.

« Clean and good location »

This Best Western is in a convenient location with easy access to the GSP. The room was nice and clean, the bed was comfortable and the wifi was strong. What more could we ask for! I was pleased with the breakfast offerings and would stay here again.

    1
    « Way below expectations »

Well we arrived at 3:30 for check in, it went smooth until we got to the room. The room was very dirty. The picture over the bed had a layer of dust an inch thick on it. The carpets had not been vacuumed as there was still some trash on the floor. The place has a shady feel to it, I went down the laundry/ ice room and saw what appeared to be a drug deal going down. Needless to say we checked out and got refunded, stayed at the comfort inn, and had a much better experience.

    3
    « Good & Bad »

Everything thing has a good side and a bad. I'll start with the good, the staff is great! The breakfast is great. Location is great. I usually stay here because there is a full kitchen, and can sleep 6 comfortably. The bad side of this hotel is that the rooms are very warn...the curtains are ripped, the carpets are stained, the bedding although it's clean it is also torn and ripped. And the wifi simply doesn't work in some areas.

    2
    « Not a great experience »

We booked for 2 nights to visit Atlantic City. We did not feel safe outside the hotel at all. There is a bingo hall in the parking lot, a bit of a mall across the street which we did not go to. We had to drive a ways to a Save a lot grocery store to pick up supplies. Not a nice store, produce poor quality, not a great selection of anything. Went to liquer store there and it was just like one of those places where you see shootings on the news or movies. Room was very shabby Breakfast room was too small, food poor. Yes I know it's a Best Western not a Hilton, but the BW we stayed the next night was so much better quality.

« super good people here »

super good people here. amazing visit. the staff was wonderful . pool was great. the overall property was very clean. We will for sure stay here again next year. it was in the perfect location. close enough to A.C

    « Best???? Western »

Stayed one night after a concert in Atlantic City. The hotel is an older property with rooms that open to the outside. It is somewhat worn and threadbare and certainly has seen better days. Our AC unit wheezed all night and struggled to keep the room cool. The rooms were somewhat clean, the bed comfortable, but in need of updating. The room was not worth the $200+ price tag. My advice is to find a newer property for a few extra dollars on those expensive summer weekends you can do better than here for the price.

« Nice Hotel For Families Going to the Beach »

Nice hotel with spacious and clean suite rooms and bathrooms located 15-20 minutes from Ocean City, NJ beach. Easy access to and from OC beaches. The full fridge and counter space was appreciated to keep beach snacks cool over it. The breakfast buffet of waffles, eggs, sausage, cereals, juices, coffees, etc was more than enough. Quality hotel for a great price...worth the drive out of town for a quality hotel at a good rate.

« very good and could be better »

Motel with clean and well laid out rooms. Pleasant staff. Full kitchen facilities including large fridge, modern oven and large microwave. Bathroom clean and well maintained. View is wanting but only about 10 miles to wonderful beaches.

    « Great for families! »

We were here last week for fishing on the jersey shore. We had our 14 and 12 year old boys with us. This was a great location for us. It was a short drive to ocean city and to atlantic city. The rooms were great, they had a stove, refrigerator, sink, etc. There were plates, a few glasses, silverware (We always bring paper products so we didn't use them) we did however get pans from the front desk. they give you a tub full of pots and pans. I did wash them thoroughly before using because I think they are only cleaned by the last people who used them) Breakfast was delicious (bacon, eggs, waffles, etc)! Indoor pool was nice. It was a nice security feature that there is a separate pool key to open door. Beds were comfy. We were on second floor and near the laundry room which was so handy to have nearby. it was 2.25 for a wash and the same i think for the dryer. We did laundry 2 seperate times, Front desk staff was great.. quick to fix the wifi problem we had and had to tell them a few times about getting low on towels in pool room and they were IMMEDIATELY refilled. I asked my oldest son if next time he would rather stay closer to beach and he said no he wanted to come back here. Thanks for our great stay!!

    « Adequate Accommodations »

Our family stayed here for three nights as part of a quick getaway to Ocean City, NJ. Our kids enjoyed having the pool and the trip was pretty convenient via the Garden State Parkway. I definitely recommend asking for a room on the third floor. It was easy to hear every footfall of the people in the room above you. This was hard for us, because we have younger children who need an earlier bedtime. When we booked through Hotels.com, my husband liked that there was a full kitchen and figured this would save us on eating out. The hotel supplied a "kit" upon request with three sizes of pots and some flimsy serving utensils. There was no baking sheet or hotpads, despite a full oven. I was hoping to heat a frozen lasagna, but didn't want to buy items. They also didn't provide any kitchen linens, just paper towels. We did appreciate the included breakfasts, which were filled with many options: Scrambled eggs, breakfast meat, waffles, juice, cereal, danish, English muffins/toast, yogurt, fruit, and very hot coffee. Nothing was really wrong, but there were a bunch of tiny issues that added up: stains on carpet and seats of chairs, broken icemaker on our floor which they knew about but didn't put a sign on, hall carpet in need of vacuuming, and a missing sink in the restroom at the pool. You also had to request a special pool key card in addition to your room card. Of course they looked the same and were easy to mix up. The front desk staff was helpful each time I had a request. I suppose I'm accustomed to having my needs anticipated a bit more at a hotel, rather than having to ask for things all the time. Still, the staff seemed to know their jobs and always had a smile.

« Call to confirm Priceline reservations - they don't honor the terms »

Affordable, yet non-sleazy hotels are hard to find in the Atlantic City area. The non-smoking room we got on our SECOND night was spacious and clean. Recommended. Unfortunately, this hotel had nothing but a stale-smelling smoking room for us on the 1st night, even though our Priceline reservation specified non-smoking. It stank up our clothes. The staff falsely claimed that the Priceline fine print doesn't hold them to that part of the reservation (had to call Priceline for a partial refund). Bottom line: the hotel is fine, in a safe area, with a modest but adequate free breakfast. But call ahead and make sure they actually hold the type of room you reserved.

    « worth the trip »

I love vising Best Western I always have a clean room and a comfortable bed. The breakfast is great . If any one needs a nice and affordable room Best Western is it. So dont walk run to your nearest computer and book a room.

    « Visit almost OK »

Bathroom dirty with leaky sink. Breakfast almost adequate. Took a while for front desk to check us in. Not as good as prior trips to this location. We propably won't return to this hotel. Staff hanging around outside.

    « Excellent »

I would give this hotel an Excellent review. This was my 2nd time staying here in 2 years. I came back because of my first experience which was great. The rooms are spacious, very clean and the staff is very friendly...The breakfast was free and was very good. I will surely be coming back and would refer anyone I knew to this hotel.....

« Wondeful place to stay »

We stayed at this lovely hotel for a 7 day vacation to Atlantic City. The rooms are spacious and immaculate. The kitchen in the room was well equipped, and they are generous with the plates, silverware and glassware. The bathrooms are standard, with a good sized vanity. Housekeeping was quick to replenish towels and toiletries. Our room was a double, so we had a large living room/dining room area with an adjoining door to a room that contained a queen and king bed. The rooms were decorated in a beautiful white and burgundy motif. The small dining table and chairs were very appreciated. The couch in the living area was saggy and not very supportive, but the recliner was amazing. It had a remote control that moved the chair from a prone position, to a complete standing position. The beds were very comfortable, with crisp clean linens. This location offers complimentary breakfast, and it was a pleasant surprise. They offer a wide array of foods such as waffles, scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit and various pastries. Coffee is fresh, hot and available 24 hours a day. The lobby has a fruit infused ice water station, which is always filled. The lobby also has various drinks and frozen treats for purchase such as ice creams, Gatorade and bottled water. There are vending machines offering free ice, soda, snacks and medical supplies you might need such as ibuprofen, feminine hygiene products and Alka-Seltzer ( a lifesaver if you eat in the Mexican restaurant next door). Wi-Fi was free, and had great speed. The pool is indoor and heated. It was very clean, with plenty of places to sit and watch the children. Towels are frequently replenished, so you often have a nice warm towel when exiting the pool. They have a ?Business center? with a computer and printer available for use. They also have laundry facilities, and you can purchase detergent and fabric softener at the lobby desk. You can't ask for a better area. Next door is the aforementioned Mexican restaurant. Directly across the street is a shopping center, with such stores as K-Mart, KFC, Taco Bell and liquor stores. Within walking distance you have PNC Bank, McDonalds, Burger King and Popeye's Chicken. If you turn right out of the parking lot, you just go straight down the road and hit Atlantic City. You have a nice quiet hotel, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but everything you want from Atlantic City less than 10 minutes away. The staff was wonderful. Specifically Theresa, Miguel and Leslie, however everyone is very friendly. They really bend over backwards to make sure you have a great stay. I had a rather demanding senior citizen in my party, and even she was extremely happy with everyone. I'm planning my next trip already.

    « GREAT stay! »

We stay at this place every year to go to Ocean City. It's a 25 minute drive to the beach if you don't to use the paid roads, but about 15 if you are okay with a little fare. HUGE rooms perfect for families! The hotel staff is always very friendly. Great pool for the kids. Really great stay. Highly recommend!

    « Nicely surprised »

Needed a hotel for 1 night to attend a wedding in Atlantic City during 4th of July weekend. Most hotels required 2 night minimum. Found this place 5 miles outside AC and was skeptical about hotel but was nicely surprised. Clean large rooms.

« Pleasant Stay in Pleasantville »

I did not have any hotel reservation on a recent business trip to Atlantic City but I knew I wanted to stay outside of Atlantic City. I stumbled across this Best Western property and chose it based upon positive experiences with BW in the past. I was not disappointed and received exceptional customer service here. I would truly enjoy a return trip as this is 15 minutes from the Boardwalk and downtown Atlantic City.

    4
    « Satisfied Customer »

I would recommend this hotel for business or pleasure. The rooms have an equipped kitchen and all of the appliances look very clean. The staff was pleasant and they have a great breakfast. It has a mall across the street and minutes from the casino. The location is excellent and the area feels safe.

    5
    « enjoyable stay »

I have stayed here before, so I was not surprised at the quality of my experience. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed Best Western. We would definitely come back. Even the location is good. I couldn't get the wifi to work, but I think that that is my computer illiteracy. At any rate, we would recommend this hotel

    5
« Great Hotel Great Price »

If you want to great hotel on Blackhorse Pike and minutes from the Boardwalk then you should stay at this hotel. The rooms were big with a full kitchen with frige. and oven... They also have an indoor pool and a small gym.. Full breakfast in the morning and coffee is offered all day hot and fresh.

« Great place JUST outside Atlantic City for Stay »

We wanted an economical place a short distance from Atlantic City where we could rest up from our excursions there. This place not only fit the bill, but exceeded our expectations! The breakfasts were a great bonus and the rooms were both spacious and comfortable.

    5
« Glad we chose this one! »

We were going to a convention in Atlantic City Convention Center, and couldn't find something closer.....but we're glad we didn't! Parking was free at the hotel, internet was free, breakfast was free and it took less than 5 minutes to get to the convention center! Even with convention center parking fees (15.00 for the day), we still paid a lot less and didn't have to pay for anything else at our hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and the front desk people were great....we will definitely try to stay here again next year.

    5
    « Great Stay »

Whenever I visit Atlantic City I always stay at the BWP Altlantic City Western Extended Stay & Suites. This place is great, they have a great breakfast, sauna, pool, fitness center and a shuttle service to Atlantic City. They have really nice spacious rooms, with free wifi, and free parking. There are also restaurants close by and a Mexican restaurant which is right next door. Miguel is always great at Front Desk

« Best Stay at Best Western »

I stayed at Best Western in New Jersey, Georgia and North Carolina this year. This was my second best. However, the first time I stayed at Best Western I stayed inside the Hotel, this time I was placed in the courtyard which we didn't like as much. It was more cozier. Next time, I will request it during the time I place my reservation.

    « Room »

I stayed before in other Best Western and I was very pleased but this one the main bed was bend in the middle and sofa, you can feel the wire when you laid down...the room smell bad...too expensive for what you get.

« our memorial weekend family getaway »

We really enjoyed this stay with our family. We picked this hotel because it had an indoor pool which the kids wanted. Our room was fresh smelling and clean. We did however, find the swivel television piece of furniture quite odd. Would definitely stay again!

    1
    « Quick trip »

Arrived May 14th 2016 and prepaid for my room $149.00, didn't realize until I checked my banking on Monday that I was double billed for the one night stay, Still waiting for my refund after 5 phone calls to corporate. I was told "Howard" the manager will take care of this. Also sheets were stained. Breakfast was over crowded, no where to sit.

    3
    « Paid too much »

The smoking room smelled really bad. I don't mind taking a smoking room if that's all that is available but I will not take one again here. The carpets and curtains need cleaned more often in a smoking room. Also the gentleman that was working was abrupt with his tone, "well that's all we have". But when I ordered my room, I was told that I would have a queen non smoking room.

    5
« Great Place to Stay When Visiting AC »

I frequently visit Atlantic City. I always stay at Best Western in Pleasantville. The room is comfortable, clean, and the Jacuzzi adds to a relaxing time. The hot breakfast buffet is excellent. The heated pool and exercise room offer great ways to keep up with physical activities. I highly recommend Best Western for both pleasure and business stays.

    5
    « Great time »

Clean and comfortable. Friendly environment. Nearby stores. Pool open late. One issue was their jacuzzi room wasn't clean enough and smells. However they was able to move me right way with my family. I was really pleased. Breakfast was delicious.

    5
    « Great Stay »

This was a very nice stay, the room was really nice, and quiet. There is an indoor pool. Has a full kitchen in the rooms. There breakfast is very good also. therer is a plaza accross the street, and food, your only a few miles from Atlantic city. The staff is great, and helpful. Really nice hotel.

    3
    « Overnight Stay »

We were in the Atlantic City for my daughter's cheer competition and we stayed here overnight. It was ok. Beds were quite comfortable and I was surprised to see a full kitchen in the room. However, the decor was dated and the bathroom could use an update as well. There were rusty spots on the fixtures and large chips in the tub. It was fine for an overnight stay but I wouldn't want to spend a week there. The area around the hotel looked kind of depressed and there wasn't much besides a Kmart and a Dunkin Donuts. We ended up having breakfast at the Dunkin Donuts because the hotel breakfast was pretty barren by the time we came down around 9 am. On the plus side, the front desk clerk was very polite and friendly.

« This hotel could be our home »

My wife and I love this property .We live in Gloucester County and I work in EHT.I was in a bad auto accident and its hard for me to ride buses every day so we stay here as much as possible. There is only 1 obstacle that makes us not be able to stay more often. We have a small Shitsu dog. In order to have a pet you have to stay in the rooms in the back. Those rooms are mostly smoking rooms but the other problem is that they have queen sized beds. We really need the King size bed since we are both larger people and also with my non healed femur bone i need the extra space. Beside that this is the best property in Atlantic County.

    2
    « New Years 2016 »

The hotel was nice although some of people Clearly LIVED there. The sheets were stained, the AC/Heat hardly worked. We had to turn on the oven! The jacuzzi tub was dirty, I cleaned it out myself! In order to cook you have to go to the front desk to retrieve the pots an they only give you one pan to cook with (so don't make Sunday dinner for him) an it was kinda hard to get in contact with the front desk from our room when we called. Other then that our stay was nice an quiet

  • 5
    « Excellent service »

Warm, friendly, great location and excellent service. Will stay at this hotel many more times We enjoyed our stay and have decided to book in the months of July and September. We will book others are we have stayed at many other hotels and decided this had all the amenities, location and the best.

    3
    « Somewhat disappointed »

Room placement was different from the reservation. Beds sagged, and bathroom was not fresh and as clean as you would like to see. While the breakfast was good, I don't feel orange juice is something they should run out of an hour after breakfast start time.

    1
« Horrible customer service - under construction »

This hotel was supposed to offer the feeling of home etc. What we got was blankets with holes in them, the common area under construction with no previous notice, cold breakfast in a converted hotel room and awful customer service from the front desk. We called down for towels that never arrived and the pool water was cloudy the entire time we were there. No one seems to care at this property which is quite sad.

    5
« OVERNIGHT STAY FOR CONCERT »

My wife and I were in ATLANTIC CITY to see THE MADONNA CONCERT AT BOARDWALK HALL.We picked this hotel because it's CONVENIENTLY located to the venue,THE cost of the overnight stay was very good and a great value COMPAIRED to the main hotel's in ATLANTIC CITY that were charging a arm and a leg for an overnight stay, even better they also have a shuttle bus to the CASINO'S. TROPICANNA OR BALLY'S the cost is $20.00 round trip,But you receive that back in slot play.NOT A BAD DEAL.Considering how much more you would have to pay to park your car in a lot.GREAT PLACE TO CONSIDER WHEN HEADING TO ATLANTIC CITY

    « A night away »

My sister and I stayed here after the Wine Festival 2015 in Mays Landing. After checking out on Sunday we ventured into Smithville and have a wonderful day. We used the indoor pool for a little relaxation, it was very clean and enjoyable.

i will recommend this hotel to my associates. i will stay again at this hotel, the food was good, the rooms was nice and clean, the king size bed, was wonderful to sleep. the t. v. had good channels. The bath room was nice and clean, as i said on my survey, My wife slip in the bath tub, She let the Head desk know about the slip. They gave us the Mats to go into the bath tub. Thank you all, Darryl and Verdell Elliott

My recent stay with the Best Western of Pleasantville, NJ was very pleasant. This is a clean hotel with kitchens in every room. Hotel staff was pleasant. This hotel is conveniently located one mile off the Garden State Parkway, 5 miles west of Atlantic City and a 40 min drive north of Cape May.
