    « Last ditch effort »

Staff was average with that one person who redeems everyone else's crap attitude. Textiles linens furnishings in the room were hard and felt really cheap room literally faced the roof of the building and the heat off the roof reflecting into the room made mid day unbearable. Tv was stuck in display mode and was hard to enjoy. Such a beautiful hotel and convenient location but a waste of my time and money

They made rude faces and acted like we made them work(o they were?)

« Great property and value »

I am typing this from my 10th floor suite in this property, and while I have not checked out I am comfortable with this review. First...the negative. This won't take long and has little to do with the hotel itself. Access to the hotel by vehicle is a bit weird and a little confusing...but NOLA in general is like that. Parking is free which is a huge plus here...but it is a little hard to come by, especially if you are in a crew cab pickup:-). Breakfast looks pretty good, but I would not pay $9 for it...I'm cheap and there is free coffee in the lobby...so move on to.... The positive...there is lots! We are 4 adults in a suite in the Copeland Tower part of the property. It is possible that this is the largest hotel room I have ever seen. It is huge and everything is very nice...wife is quite happy. There is a very large Kitchenette with a full sized fridge, two burner smooth top cooking area, large Microwave, countertop appliances, utensils, pots & pans, dishes etc., and the countertops are granite. Also a dishwasher! A comfortable work station, outlets everywhere and easy access to the free wi-fi which worked well. There are two huge windows, and from the 10th floor we can see Lake Ponchartrain...sweet! There is a full sized sofa that makes a bed, two queens, two flat screens, good sized tiled bath and plenty of closet space. The entire property is clean and in good repair. I think the suite was about a $20 upcharge and well worth it. The staff was friendly, attentive and competent...no issues at all. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone. While the 20 minute or so commute to the French Quarter can be a bit of a hassle, it beats the hell out of staying in the mess that is downtown New Orleans. A mall with the usual suspects (Dillards, Pennys etc. is a couple of blocks) Dozens of restaurants in walking distance...all in an area that feels safe to everyone in the family. Will stay here again if in the area. "We" are happy:-) Sorry for the endless review.

    « Great hotel. »

Enjoyed my stay at this older hotel. The room was clean and the staff was very helpful. This place has a little bar that is well stocked but closes around 9. Would like for it to be open a little later but I understand it's close to New Orleans the party capital. The restaurant had great food. Would recommend this hotel to anybody in town.

« Best Western Landmark BEST PLACE TO STAY! »

I have business New Orleans approx.. 7 months a year and have to be away from home a lot for work. The Best Western Landmark has become my home away from home I love the spacious suites and the staff treats you more like honored family then guest. If you need a place to stay while in NOLA you wont be dispointed at the LAndmark

    « Fairytale Bridal Shower »

Dear Melissa, My family and I really enjoyed our entire experience at Best Western Landmark Hotel! The room was spacious and homey; and the view was lovely. Your staff was very helpful and pleasantly answered all of our questions. Everything that we asked for was provided timely. The two guys and lady that helped to set up the room for the bridal shower made us feel comfortable; they were friendly and helped us assemble our decorations beyond the call of duty. My guests are still talking about Copeland's food and how lovely the room and views were. After all of the planning and anxiety that I had about this bridal shower for my daughter I was thoroughly 100% satisfied!!!! Thank You so Much, Mrs. Laverne McCormick

« DO NOT STAY HERE FOR VOODOO FEST! »

Good hotel, but the location made traveling to and from Voodoo Fest nearly IMPOSSIBLE. Literally NO TAXIS will take you that direction after the festival grounds close, when you and about 500 other people are trying to catch a cab. If it hadn't been for a kind stranger, my husband and I probably would've had to walk back to the hotel.

« In need of repair »

I've stayed at the Best Western several times in the past during a family Thanksgiving vacation as well as during the NCAA final four. This by far was the worst stay. The rooms are dated and in need of refurbishing. The front desk staff lacked the training to deal with several issues we encountered during our stay. The air conditioning system ran constantly during the night. And the room smelled of cleaning products.

    3
    « Ok for a night »

For an overnight visit this was a decent choice for us. Rates were ok for a Saturday night I suppose. The property itself is a bit outdated. The room was clean at first sight but very dark. Then after settling in I found that the carpet was actually sticky and gross. I had to wear my socks all night to keep my feet clean. The bed was not very comfortable. But the biggest issue was the air conditioner. It was so incredibly loud it kept me awake all night! Ugh! The staff seemed friendly enough. I probably would stay elsewhere if in the area again. Nothing horribly wrong, but nothing great either. Ergo the average rating.

    « comfort & convenience »

stayed here for work in N.O. for over 2 months. would love to stay here for a weekend of pleasure or longer. hotel is in a great location, near the airport, Acme Oyster House a few blocks away, grocery stores nearby & easy access to I-10 to downtown or other areas nearby.

    « Perfect for any Get-Away »

Booked this for a best friend trip to the Beyoncé Concert. Although there was a mix up with our original reservation, Tiffany worked to get our room reservation corrected even though the hotel was completely sold out. We were placed in our Double Queen suite and were very pleased with the room. Our 14th floor room had a gorgeous view of the lake as well as every amenity possible. I loved the kitchen and the design of the entire sweet. I will definitely be staying here for all my New Orleans get aways. Love love loved it.

« One of my favorites! »

I love staying at this hotel. For my business it is at the perfect location. The staff is helpful and hardworking. They know all of the best places to go. The rooms are big and the bed very comfortable. I always gett good reception on the Wifi, which is very important to me. This is one of the best values for the dollar and I recommend it.

    5
    « Nice surprise »

I had not stayed at this hotel before. I was upgraded to a suite at check in. The room was very nice. It is quite large. The staff was really nice. Parking was easy. A very good VODO BBQ was right next door and an easy walk. The staff at the bar was very helpful with being able to bring wine up to my room.

    « Met expectations! »

My family and I had a pajama party for my bridal shower. It was 7 of us. We booked two queen double suites and I promise we were not disappointed. The suite had a fully functioning kitchen with dishes, dishwasher, utensils, fridge and microwave. The living area had a sofa that converts to sofa bed, table and tv. The bedroom had to awesome queen beds and tv with ample storage space. The bathroom, closets and vanity was in the corner of the room. I DIDNT WANT TO LEAVE!! The front desk agents were always helpful and cheerful. This hotel does host large events so it can be hairy when trying to park during events. I have no complaints.

    5
    « Nice for a Rende-vouz »

This was the first time that I stayed at Best Western Plus. I enjoyed my time here! It was the perfect setup for my date night !! Would definitely do it again! The view of the pool really set it off, my friend and I enjoyed ourselves and we will be back!

« 6-Night Stay at Landmark Best Western »

Improvements needed. My opinion. Upgrades to room in the bath area would make it safer to get in and out of a tall tub. ie: small grab bars would have been great. Toilet quite low with nothing to hold onto. No info on use of TV remote. Had to ask for toilet paper. Not sure if room was serviced daily or not. Did not appear so. Lots of cleaning people in Hallway. We filled two trash bags on a couple of days which were there when we returned to room.

    2
    « Several things bad »

I've already stated the negatives in other questions. Dark room, door handle on door for toilet/shower about to fall off , TV horrible and would not work right at all, very slow draining sink. Other than too dark(which I guess cannot be helped), the other items should not have been that way at all before we got there. No problem though as won't be back.

    « 4 day Business Training Stay »

The hotel was clean, tastefully appointed from the lobby to the spacious room I had. All my co-workers that stayed there thought it must be one of , if not THE, nicest Best Westerns anywhere! Smiling, nice, delightful staff was present and delighted to assist always. The conference room on the 16th floor was equally as nice and so was the staff there.

    5
« Great stay in great location »

The proximity to the Crescent City is a definite draw for this property. This convenience WITHOUT the ?big city? issues is a big plus. There is ample covered parking at BWL. The hotel is staffed with extremely warm, welcoming, and helpful employees. There are great meals at very reasonable rates in the cafe. The meeting rooms were well-equipped and comfortable. A return visit for pleasure is in the future!

    3
    « Not 3 1/2 stars »

Room smelled like smoke, they gave us another. The other the tv did not work. This hotel needs to be renovated. For the price it was not bad, but please dont rate it a 3 1/2 and compare it to the marriott. Location is good, very centralized in Metairie and FAt City.

« Lovely hotel for a low price »

We were very impressed with this hotel for the relatively low cost of the suite we rented. Our suite was lovely with modern decor and very clean. Our room was extremely quiet, we never heard other guests. Every staff member we encountered was professional, helpful and friendly. There was a good selection of breakfast choices each morning. The only downside was there is no room service, and a limited menu cafe and small bar which closes at 10pm. But otherwise, I would highly recommend this hotel to travelers and I would stay there again if I were in the area.

« One of my best stay ever »

Would like to start with the staff, outstanding, Sybil,Yasmine,Adriana,Orrin, y'all are doing a great job! Thanks! The room was very clean and fresh. So much room to lay out my training material for a class I was teaching. Nice kitchen, living room and work desk, and the bedroom was excellent.I never was treated so good in a hotel, been with another brand for yars and just had bad stay with them so decided to try the best western and what a great choice! Thanks guys for the stay and I'll be back soon! Ronnie

« Great sized rooms, clean, comfortable and quiet!!! »

Loved this location, the room was like a mini apartment. I stayed 5 days, had a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee, maker, sitting room w tv and king bed in bedroom w 2nd tv. very comfortable bed. everything clean, quiet and comfortable. Great location for get away. less than $15 for Uber to French Quarter. Close to Airport as well.

« Inviting and Comfortable Hotel »

The rooms in the Tower are so inviting and comfortable; it feels like an apartment and since I come back to New Orleans for work for weeks at a time, it's nice for a hotel to feel like home. Open rooms, a small but great full kitchen complete with a dishwasher! Spacious living room area and the bathroom is a stand-up tiled glass shower. It is the nicest hotel I've stayed in for work by far!! The staff is super friendly, always greeting us as we come inside and leave, and they took the time to know my name as well as my coworkers. Seriously, they go above and beyond what I'd expect in a hotel. Charles, Sybil, Kara, Yasmine, Adrianne, Orrin, and Claudette were always so nice!

    5
    « Nice rooms - very comfy »

I stayed on a weekend using a reward night, and was upgraded to a very nice two room suite. Very clean and helpful staff. I did not eat at the hotel as I had other arrangements, but breakfast was extra (and seemed reasonable). Overall nice experience and not too far from Downtown.

« Hey Baby Welcome to New Orleans »

This is a great property in Metairie about 7 miles from the French quarter. And most importantly exactly 7.125 miles from Central Grocery home of the original and only true Mufulata. The Best Italian Sandwich you will ever have....

    5
« Excellent service and great location »

The staff at this location have been exceptional. I enjoyed my time there while working in the Metairie area. My room was spacious and very comfortable. If visiting New Orleans for fun, the location to the French Quarters is great. The hotel is located close to the interstate and takes approximately 20 minutes travel time. I definitely would recommend this hotel.

    5
    « Exceeded expectations »

I loved my stay here, there was nothing that went wrong, it was smooth from the check in to the check out, the pool, the lounge, the business center, it all was working smoothly without a hiccup. I will be back to Best Western Plus hotels whenever i can find one.

    5
« Great hotel in a great location »

This hotel was great! The room was very spacious. The staff was nice. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of keeping the room clean. This hotel is located within walking distance of several restaurants, a grocery store as well as a gas station. It's also close to the interstate but not so close that you can hear traffic. I will definitely stay at this hotel again!

    5
    « love the suite »

I have stayed here before, last time before Katrina, It is very nice now. we had a 4 room suite at a great price! I would skip the breakfast though, powder eggs and ready to eat bacon. What you would expect from a free breakfast. However this was a $9 buffet. If you have any laundry, take it down the street, the dryer they have charges $1.50 for 20mins and it takes about 3x to dry your clothes! $4.50~ way too much!. Over all I really loved our room.

« Best Western Landmark Metairie »

This is a very nice hotel, with a helpful and friendly staff. I use this hotel exclusively when I am working in this area, which is quite frequently. The hotel is easy to access and is near shopping, many restaurants, and entertainment. The property has been recently renovated. There is ample parking.

    5
    « Great Staff »

The Staff at this hotel always make me feel welcomed. Once you make a request they always go above and beyond the expectations. The suites are great and have become my home away from home. The suites are large and the beds are so comfortable.

    « BW NOLA »

Excellent employees. Exceptional property. Unbelievably comfortable rooms. This property is close Interstate 10 and approximately 15 minutes from downtown. Easy to get to and from. Outstanding bar across the street (The Beach). Close to many restaraunts (walking distance).

    5
    « Awesome weekend stay »

Suites are wonderfully large and spacious and very reasonably priced! We also had a beautiful view of Metairie. I highly recommend this hotel. I would stay there again. Probably one of the largest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in.

    5
    « Great stay »

This is one of my favorite hotels in NOLA. The staff is always so friendly and professional. It is a beautiful hotel that is always clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a great hotel in a GREAT location near restaurants, mall and only 15 min from the airport.

    5

    « Awesome Experience »

Lovely hotel! With the uncrowded parking garage near the entrance I felt very safe and it was easy to bring in luggage or shopping items. There were many excellent restaurants all around this area within walking distance. Also, gave me easy access to the Fair Grounds Race Course where we were working. I will definitely stay there again upon my next visit.

    5
« Clean comfortable friendly hotel »

Quiet, well-managed hotel. Great value stay. Very friendly staff. Rooms were immaculate and fresh. Not even a hint of room deodorants or prior smokers. Exterior hotel is new, nice pool and workout room. Interior decor of rooms is a little tired, but comparable to other brands. Place is quiet at night and great place to sleep, which is he primary purpose of a hotel!

    3
    « Quiet hotel »

Our tour group stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The free breakfast was average. I had coffee, toast, bacon. They have a bar but didn't visit. Very nice lobby and helpful staff. My room was okay with microwave and fridge. the bathtub, scary. It looked dated and was slippery. Its walking distance to the mall ( Macy's, jc penney, Dillard's), whole foods, TGI Fridays restaurant. Would stay there again but in a different room with better bathtub. Laundry room on 8th fl; 2 dryers, 2 washers

    5
« Home away from home »

I have been traveling for work for approximately 10 years. From Seattle to Miami from L A to Savana. I have memberships with 4 or 5 hotel chains. This property has it all ! Excellent professional people attend my every need. From check in to check out and all points in between ! The lounge and restaurant are staffed with great people. I am almost always put in my favorite room of choice, when it's available. I wouldn't stay in any other hotel in the New Orleans area ! There is a mall within walking distance and many great restaurants within a stones throw ! This Best Western Plus truly is my home away from home !

« Hotel Stay near I-10 and Downtown New Orleans »

Renovations have upgraded hotel. Very nice lobby; friendly professional staff; easy access to covered parking. Reasonable rates and easy access to and from I-10. Minutes from downtown (if it's not work travel time). Rooms were well appointed, clean and roomy. We had grandchild with us so had two queens. Views are nothing special but that's not it's role. It was very quiet in spite of proximity to major highway.

    5
    « were back Babe »

Great place to call home for the two months I plan on staying. Look forward to visiting this area again. I will be staying at the Landmark. Great view from my room of the super dome and lake Ponchatrain.

    5
« Great Place to stay »

This hotel is a Gem within the city of Metairie. Any travels to the New Orleans area i will be staying here from now on. Safe, clean, pleasant staff, full service, very economical. It has all the amenities you need. The rooms are spacious, I stayed in a king. It had a full kitchen with dishwasher, snack bar, desk, living room large tv in living room and bed room. The bed was comfort and large, with a great shower and bathroom area. They made my bed everyday. When I would come in from working it was nice to get in a bed that was fresh and prepared for you.

    « Hotel review »

Rode around the block twice trying to find the entrance. There is no signage indicating where the lobby/front entrance was. Once we found it everything went well. Parking was one thing this hotel was short of. Had parking decks, but you had to go through lobby to get to your room. you park and it's two elevators to get to your room. Other than parking the hotel was great!

    5
    « Super nice hotel »

We stayed in Louisiana for 3 days and we had the pleasure of staying here! It's about a 15 minute drive to the French quarter so you don't hear all the loudness and partying going on all hours. It was me, my husband, and our 14 and 11 year old sons, so to be able to sleep at night was great. The staff is super friendly and it was super clean and nice. The pool was clean and refreshing especially in the Louisiana heat. The only thing to complain about is, well not really a complaint because we actually ate out at some amazing places, is that they don't have breakfast, well they do have breakfast but for a small price, it's just not included. All in all this was a beautiful place to stay and I'm super glad we made this choice!

    4
« Good hotel! Safe location! Sand volleyball next door »

This is a good hotel! It is an older hotel, but still good. It is in a safe location. I had to stay here with just the kids and felt very safe! It is in a nice area. The rooms were clean. Next door was a bar with sand volleyball courts that they let us use. Kids had a lot of fun playing volleyball! We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

    5
    « SHORT AND SWEET »

Great customer service from beginning to end. I would like to thank Erika for the wonderful accommodations. I would not stay any where but here with visiting the Metairie area. The check in and check out staff was wonderful, The room was clean and even though i stayed one night everything was excellent.

    5
    « Best Western Landmark »

This is a very good hotel, which I use nearly all the time when I am in the Metairie/New Orleans area. The rooms are very nice and quite large, there is plenty of parking, and it is near many good restaurants and shopping areas. The staff is friendly and helpful.

    5
« Excellent Customer Service from Beginning to End »

I don't usually do review, but based on my stay...I had to. I stayed at the Best Western this past weekend. This was my family first time in New Orleans. I was supposed to stay somewhere else and due to circumstances I ended up here. Orrin was my first encounter. He was awesome, helpful and accomodating. We also had to make a reservation for my parents and Terrence assisted them, he was awesome and very helpful. My parents loved their room and the service they received. I also got to enjoy the breakfast and encountered Yoshika at the Cafe. She was friendly, helpful, smiling, had me and my family laughing. I felt like they were happy we were there. lol. If you stay here, I hope you get a chance to encounter these awesome group of people. I WILL stay here again.

    5
    « Teamwork »

    « New Orleans Visit »

My wife and I stayed here for three days on a visit to New Orleans. Our room was nice, large and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. For some reason our room was not cleaned or restocked on our first day. Never did get and answer why, but the house cleaning staff was more than willing to give me a coffee restock when I asked for one. It was farther away from downtown (French Quarter) than I had calculated and Uber rides were 13-16 dollars each way. So, for this reason if I were going back to visit New Orleans again I'd stay downtown. This was on me and not the hotels issue. I thought that for the price breakfast could have been included. The parking was great. I would stay here again if I were passing through.

    3
« Expensive for average room »

The hotel looks like it has done some renovations lately so the exterior and lobby areas look really nice. However, for the price of the room, I felt like I was paying for the lobby and not the room because the lobby was so updated and the room wasn't matching the updates.

    2
    « NICE HOTEL - EXPECTED MORE »

The room was dirty, the carpet was disgusting, like needs to be pulled out disgusting, my foot stuck to the carpet - years of not cleaning! The bathroom was "ok" needs an overall SPRING CLEANING! just horrible...very nice hotel, great location, but needs to fire EVERYONE on their cleaning staff and hire ALL NEW PEOPLE...because they don't care.

    5
    « Ms.Sybil (Front Desk) »

Ms. Sybil was very knowledgeable of the hotel, kind and helpful. Ms. Sybil has great customer service. She was very friendly with the Checking in process and thereafter. I would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. I really enjoyed my room. The room was very clean and comfortable. Most of all, I enjoyed the view. Being a Platinum member, I normally stay at the Best Western Plus in Chalmette, but from this day forward, I will changed that to the Best Western Plus in Metairie. Thanks to Ms. Sybil. I will be coming to stay again. You were great!!!!!!!!

    5
    « Excellence »

Thanks for the great level of service.I will like to whole up high Sybil and Sham for years of excellent care to me and my family.I highly recommend BEST WESTERN PLUS Landmark Hotel & Suites.Very clean rooms.Plenty parking.Great food.

    5
« Excellent Check in process »

I wanted to share that Dawn was excellent in customer service while during our stay from 7/1/16-7/3/16, She was pleasant and friendly and had knowledge on the hotel details and New Orleans sites. We would like to recommend Dawn for someone who wants a superior customer service. Dawn went over and beyond the call of duty to make my mom and I feel uber comfortable while staying. I will recommend the best western hotel to family and friends because of Dawn!

    5
« Easy Access, Convenient, Comfortable »

This hotel has easy access when coming from Baton Rouge. Many eating places around the hotel (within 2-5 minutes). Spacious room and comfortable beds. The hotel tax in the New Orleans area is very high and it drives the cost of the room up. But for this area the cost was not unreasonable.

    4
    « Customer Service A+ »

Everyone of the employees I encountered on my stay were all very friendly and helpful. They all said hello first. if we asked for anything there was always a smile and the duty was executed promptly. The hotel was clean but could use some remodeling especially in the hallways; very dark, gloomy. Room was also clean.

    3
« Just okay - perhaps needs better maintainence »

The hotel is ok for a very short stay. It was clean, however, we had to move rooms because the toilet was leaking water all over the floor. The next room we were in, the TV had a mind of its own - volume wouldn't work, it wold shut off on its own, etc. The bathroom in the lobby was being worked on when I checked out. The staff waa very courteous and friendly. It ia very close to the mall and reataurants. If you want a basic stay and you aren't too picky, this is your place.

    4
« Great service at Checkout - the rest of the experience was lackluster »

The service at check-in was exemplary. Shenita provided quick and courteous service and shared information on the events upcoming at the hotel. She also asked us about our plans in the area and when we told her we were here for work, she encouraged us to take the opportunity to explore. The rooms were nicely appointed, and they did keep them clean. That all being said, why wouldn't i give them a higher rating? I did not have any towels and had to call the front desk twice to get them, and the service at check out was non-existent.

« Staff was rude and disrespectful!! »

We got in very late Saturday, June 25, 2016 and had booked 2 rooms online after looking for rooms for a while while we were traveling. When we got there we were surprised to find the rooms we booked were smoking. Eventually, we decided to stay because we could not find another room elsewhere. So the lady at the front desk said we could go up to room and see if smell was tolerable. So we all went and began to unpack. About 20 minutes later we get a knock on the door and there's 2 security guards pretty much kicking us out because we didn't "fully" check in at the front. We were under the impression we had check in because obviously we got the room keys. They were extremely rude and made us feel as if were trying to stay without paying. Mind you, the rooms had been booked online. Front desk even confirmed that for us. We tried to explain we thought the process had been completed and they were persistent we get out of rooms and go to front desk. On top of that we complained that there was an odor of WEED!! They security guards didn't seem to care. They were more interested in kicking us out of rooms. Never staying there again!

« Had better potential! Room dark & drab »

We stayed here on our way through New Orleans on our way to Orange Beach. It looked beautiful from the outside and we were really excited. The lobby was also nice and updated. We were excited but then we made it to our room. The hallways were dark and so was the rooms. Dark and brown walls, floors, etc. There was a mini fridge in the room which was nice but some food was stuck to it which made me nervous that the room wasn't clean. The tv sound wasn't working but my husband moved some wire around and fixed it. It just didn't feel clean and that was a bummer.

« A Great Jazz Fest crash pad! »

My wife and I met at the New Orleans Jazz Fest 31 years ago and we know New Orleans well. We found and stayed at this place this year for a great 4-day Jazz Fest weekend. It was very affordable, clean and comfortable, and the service was great! It also has free parking and a swimming pool. Acme Oyster Bar is just around the corner, and the entryway to I-10 that takes you straight to I-610 and then to the exit for Jazz Fest is soooooo.... convenient!

    « Accommodating & Comfortable »

Since 1993, whenever I go to New Orleans, I stay at the BW Landmark. Nicest folks to deal with, comfortable, good price, easy access to entire city. Very good breakfast bar, and great gumbo at lunch. For a snack, the $3 hot dog can't be beat.

    « Family Reunion 2016 »

our family met from Arkansas, Texas and Georgia to go on our family reunion cruise. the facility was above our expectations as far as appearance, cleanliness and convenience. the parking while we were gone was an absolute plus. we ALL were extremely pleased with the friendly professional staff. we will definitely return for future visits to the Best Western Plus the next time we're in the New Orleans area!!!

    « Ok »

We stayed here for a night before cruising out of New Orleans. It was fine...nothing great. It is a Best Western in a New Orleans suburb, so all I hoped for was clean and quiet and that is just what we got. Quick and easy access to downtown, so we were able to visit the French Quarter in the afternoon with the kids and be back for a relaxing evening in before things got crazy.

« Amazing Staff and Property »

I have stayed at this property for the past three weeks for work. The rooms are great and the staff is amazing! The rooms are clean, great size and taken care of. The beds are very comfortable. I have to say a big thank you to Tiffany, Teresa, Yasmine and Shenita! Super nice and very accommodating. From the front desk, the cafe, the security staff, the bell boys and cleaning staff... they are all top notch! I would recommend this property and will stay everytime I am in town!

We have been for 48 h' and it was great. Huge room clean and comfort. The hotel was near the main street and It was easy to get tthere and participate in the parade of the Mardi Gras which just began in the city in those days . Perfect pleasure .

« Room smelled like pot »

This is an older hotel. Room was reasonably clean. However, we experienced two major negatives. First, there was a loud party going on on the first floor. We were staying on the 4th floor and we still heard the loud music in our room. Secondly, either someone prior to us staying there or someone next door smoked pot. Our clothes smelled terrible when we left the hotel.

This was our sixteenth time to stay in this Hotel. The staff is always friendly and very accommodating. The addition of the Copeland Tower Suites is a major plus for this location. The suites are large and very well appointed. The Hotel is convenient to everything you need and is out of the heavy traffic areas.

My stay was below average. The beds were comfortable but the TV's kept going out. It looks like a older hotel. The rooms needs some renovations. The location is pretty good. 5 minutes from downtown New Orleans.

This is a good hotel with a great staff, the only thing I wish is that they would change out the eggs for breakfast. Beds were very firm and the air conditioning and loud but my room was clean. This hotel is in a good location. Parking was good. I recommend staying in the tower side over the other side. I will definitely stay here again.

« Great place to stay »

The room I had, a king suite, was huge by all standards, a kitchenette, living room, bedroom and a big bathroom. Bed was really confortable, viee was great being on the 9th floor. It's located near to restaurants, wholesfood market and a mall.. Employees were really helpful and accomodating. It's located only 10 minutes away from downtown and 15 minutes from the airport next to the 10 freeway.

    « Great Stay »

The business I work for rooms my crew at the Best Western Plus Landmark in Metairie LA. Upon walking in the front door we are greeted with a warm welcome by the morning front desk staff which is usually Ms.Sybil Charles and Mrs. Charles Delle. They are both professional at there jobs and usually have our rooms clean and ready upon our arrival. The rooms are really nice which and they come with a microwave and a refrigerator which I find quite convenient. The restaurant has a full menu consisting of breakfast lunch and dinner that are all great meals. There is also a swimming pool that is maintained very well, and a fitness center on the 4th floor. We also sometimes get a chance to stay in the new part of the Best Western which is the Copeland Tower. Those rooms are the Top of The Line with a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher. It's like a home away from home. If you are in Metairie LA. Stop by for a visit , you will see for yourself that it is a great place to stay. Gerald Ray

    « 2 night hotel stay in Metaire/New Orleans »

Chose his hotel due to 4 adults wanting to share room, and was able to find a suite that was large enough at a good rate, which I thought was close to French quarter, etc. Hotel itself is very nice, high rise, suite was large, no complaints. I was surprised they did not include a continental breakfast. I chose this thinking we could get to the French quarter area within 20 mins or less. The traffic and construction, May 2016 was so bad, that it did take longer. For the time we spend going back and forth, I would personally recommend paying the money and staying closer in. I was hoping this was a nice area also to walk to a few local restaurants, but it was not an area I would enjoy walking around too busy. ( highway right there, traffic, etc ). Over all, if was just fine, but I guess next time I will pay the extra bucks for convenience.

Very, very nice upgraded hotel. Very clean, spacious suites and fair price. This will be our place to stay when coming to Metairie. This place is classic as it has hosted many reunions, weddings, and special events. It is the big round building in the sky. It's central and easy to find.

we stayed here in march with a group traveling from Lancaster, ohio... this was the first time have stayed in new Orleans...have passed though a number of years ago..hotel was about 20-25 minutes from center of NO, but, we had shuttle service provided, so had no problems with driving or parking...our room was very clean, and we had plenty of room to relax when we returned for the night... full buffet breakfast was included in our trip cost, so we had a great start to the day when we were ready to go out for the day...the only problem we had, and it occurred more than one time was the key card didn't work all the time, so we had to take a trip down to the front desk, and have it refreshed....certainly would recommend this place

« Wonderful and Helpful Staff »

Ive been staying at the Best Western Landmark in Metairie, Louisiana almost every week for the past 10 years and have never had a problem. The hotel staff is always very helpful, professional, and friendly! They always make me feel at home. Mrs. Sybil, Mrs. Dawn, Charles, and Tiffany always make the check in so easy. Through out the years they have become my friends. They deserve all the recognition they can get!! Also the general manager Rex Waller takes time out of his day to check on me and see how im doing! I will never stay anywhere else whether staying for work or personal time. I recommend this hotel to everyone. I promise you will never be disappointed!!!

Recently had to stay at this local hotel outside of New Orleans for a business conference. Upon check in I was greeted by Kara and Charles - I upgraded for 30.00 dollars to the newly renovated suits, which I found very nice ,with lots of space and a kitchen . The hotel was very clean and up to par with the latest trends ,hotel wise. The staff is very attentive and easy to talk to . Charles helped us with our bags to our room and Kara , The GM made sure our conference went smoothly. Very nice stay. Will be back.

« Nice hotel despite a few corrected problems. »

This hotel was very nice - classy looking from the outside and a huge lobby on the inside. The hotel had 3 separate towers all accessible from the main lobby. The staff was friendly, efficient and check in/check-out was quick. Our room was large and the bed was comfortable. We did have an issue with the TV not working, but problem was temporarily fixed the first night. Next morning still having TV problems and Danny, the maintenance supervisor was quick to make a permanent fix by exchanging the entire unit - a heavy piece of furniture that also contained the fridge and brought in a different TV - problem solved. Danny was friendly, efficient and did everything he could to make us happy! The hotel offered a full hot breakfast buffet that was free if you had a voucher, if not there was an $8+ charge. In the same area was their cafe with a nice variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and entrees and prices were very reasonable. We did have dinner there one night and enjoyed our meal. There are numerous restaurants around the hotel area within walking distance. Overall, a great place to stay and I would highly recommend.

Wasn't expecting more than just clean accommodations. Pleasantly surprised by the upscale lobby and rooms. Staff were all extremely nice and helpful. The hotel is a little bit difficult to find but only the first time. Rooms were exceptionally well appointed especially for a Best Western. Will stay there on next trip to the area.

    « Work Trip »

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff was great. I actually wish I could steal a few of their staff members. I stayed in what is called the annex. The hotel is currently in the process of renovating that part of the hotel. The rooms are comfortable. I did get a chance to see the suites. They are awesome and spacious. As I understand it the tower has just reopened after having been damaged from Katrina. When I return that is where I will stay. The bottom line beach club across the street is awesome. The locals go there and have so much fun.

The hotel is well maintained and the front desk personnel were very personable and helpful. GREAT PLACE TO STAY!!!!

« Great location, great price, safe parking »

The hotel is clean, with a fresh atmosphere. There is a restaurant located on site. The rooms are great. We had a large group of 6 and everyone was able to comfortably sleep. There were 2 queen beds and a pullout sofabed. The large kitchen area, has a full refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher along with a few items that would be useful for cooking. The rooms are very soundproof. I heard NO noise and our room was located right across from the elevators. There is a shopping center, many restaurants, a nice bar across the street and parking is sufficient. If you can't find a spot on the first floor, there is a well lit parking lot across the street and also a second level of parking - I parked at each of these areas and was pleased with each area. Parking is free. Really loved the hotel and our experience and would look to stay there again. Nice quick trip to City Park, downtown New Orleans and the French Quarter. My son enjoyed the outside pool.

We had a wonderful stay. The suite we were in is a great find. Quite unexpected. The room had all we could hope for. Really it was like an apartment. The staff was accommodating. Stayed 2 nights - booked through Trip Advisor- good price - no problems. Front desk courteous. Clean rooms well appointed. From Metairie and always loved the location. Safe but only 20 minutes from the Quarter. Near great restaurants - local food - try Acme Oyster for seafood; Short Stop for best Hot Roast Beef Po-Boy; cafe DuMonte for authentic Beignet and LA Coffee, Drago's for nice dinner. Don't miss the WWII Museum!

    « Hidden fees »

The rooms are clean the staff is wonderful. Great morning breakfast included. Beware of the additional costs. Our room was $170 on weeknights. The total per night was $222.00 Almost $30 for parking per night. The rest is tax and resort fee. I was shocked when I got my bill. You can have a room facing the courtyard but we found people were very loud late in the evening. The Air Conditioning in the rooms was loud also. We did not get much sleep. None of this was the staffs fault. They were great.

    « reunion »

this best western on the tower side has excellent comfortable rooms, but the restaurant was not. The food was very bland and the service was awful. We were there with a group and all felt the same. It was hard to believe that they would charge $8.75 for a breakfast that all other Best Western compliment with the room, especially for what they charge for a night. This was a navy ship reunion, they served prime rib one night and it was tasteless, the other night was all seafood, some of them cannot eat fish

« Mid way between the Franch Quarter and the airport »

Spent 3 nights here with family. We were on the Tower side of the hotel which seems to me better than the Annex. The room was very nice, full kitchenette , central Air Conditioning not too noisy and with good controls, very clean bathroom. Beds were comfortable , no problems with my bad back. WiFi is adequate, not great.Very good parking under cover , which saved us from some torrential rains. There is no real restaurant in the hotel, but there is an Outback 2 blocks away. You will be a $12 Uber ride away from the French Quarter, or $20 in rush hour. Essentially 15-25 minutes ride. Follow carefully the GPS to get to the hotel, you will see the tower from far away, but getting there is actually tricky.

Wonderful hotel . Loved the Queen Tower Suite. Everything was perfect. Would highly recommend to everyone. And only 5 min from Dragos restaurant !!! Our favorite!!! Food is fantastic!!! Such a good location. Not down in the noisy, congested French Quarter area. Only a reasonable cab ride to any where you want to go. Of all the hotels we have ever stayed in The Landmark is our favorite. You will not find a more comfortable bed any where, for any amount of money. We can not say enough good things about this hotel. And we find the room rates to be very reasonable. And the quality excellent !!!!

This is an amazing hotel. We were there for a cheer competition in Kenner. The distance to Kenner was less than 15 minutes. I read the reviews on the hotels in Kenner, but nothing really impressed me. I am glad that I chose this hotel. The restaurants and the mall were in walking distance. « Take a break from the MADNESS! »

About 10 to 15 minutes out of downtown New Orleans and the French Quarter, this hotel is a great escape after a day of playing and debauchery in town. It is very clean and modern and in a safe area of town. There is plenty of free parking available and free wifi both in the lobby and the rooms. It was also a perk that the taxes and fees at this location were about 1/2 the cost of any downtown hotel. There were a couple of issues including an ice machine that didn't work and continental breakfast that cost $8 each. It was great to come back to a safe, quiet place after a day of touring, walking and taking in the sights. I will definitely pick this hotel for my next visit.

« Plenty of room for me and my 4 kids »

We stayed here back in February 2016. The staff was great, especially Charles at the front desk. I was traveling with my four children and the suite was perfect! We had plenty of room. It feels more like a condo than a hotel room. We were close to everything we needed...a Whole Foods a block away, French Quarter about 15 minutes and business in Westwego was a quick drive as well. There is a mall about 3 blocks away from the hotel. The dinner menu at the restaurant was decent. The breakfast buffet was acceptable...not amazing, but not the self-serve automated food you get at a Holiday Inn Express either. The view from the room and surrounding area is not beautiful, but we weren't there for the scenery, so it didn't matter. On the down side, there was a party going on all night in the suite above us. It was so loud you could hear everything. Not really the hotel's fault, but the floors are not soundproof at all. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The pull-out sofa made plenty of room for 5 people (you could even sleep 6). Overall, it was a perfect place for our trip and not too expensive.

    « Sweet suite! »

Got a normal room at first, but we spotted one jelly bean on the floor in the middle of the room, damp used towels in the bathroom, missing safe key, phone not connected and cupboard almost falling apart. Not used from a BW Plus, so went downstairs just to complain I was not used to this and that I needed a key for the safe and other towels and such. Lady at the desk said she also was not used to this and gave us an upgrade to the new tower, 14th floor, facing downtown. WOW! Really nice upgrade for such a simple problem. This is how American service is; giving the best service if something is wrong. I hope they forget to remove towels and just one single jelly bean everytime, because the new suites are excellent. If you book here, take a suite for just a little bit more. Worth the money! When returning to NOLA, will book here again (a suite in new tower). Plenty of parking space, but it all depends on when you go, of course. Outback and a mall close by (in walking distance). 15 minutes car ride to French quarter. Thanks BW for the upgrade over some simple things! :) Breakfast was OK, about $7.50, but not that much better than free continental breakfasts at other hotels.

This was an ultimate experience the hotel is simply beautiful and the new Tower Suites are breath-taking. « Great Place to Stay in NOLA »

« Another amazing BW Experience »

    « Wonderful Experience »

We are in the middle of an 18 day trip and this has been the best place we have stayed all the way around. This was the only place we could find in or around New Orleans that allowed for our whole family to stay together in one room (there are 6 of us), so at first our stay was out of necessity, but having stayed there from here out it will be our only choice. It was pricier that our usual stays but definitely worth every penny. Our suite was newly renovated and it showed. It was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again in the future. We really didn't want to leave. All the staff was friendly and happy. At check out, Charles was wonderful. He was funny and really made us feel as though we were valued customers. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

    « Absolutely stunning remodel! »

Sparkling clean and extremely comfortable. We checked into this hotel for one night of a 4 night trip and wished we had planned on staying all 4 nights. Convenient to drive downtown New Orleans. Try Chef Ron's Gumbo Stop just across Causeway from this hotel!

Amazing staff especially Yoshica, who works in the restaurant, she was very proud of her employer and made it a point to make sure satisfying the needs of the customer was her first priority.., it was a pleasure staying there in a nice clean rooms with a staff that was there for us, Copeland and Best western will be our choice when we go back, thanks again Yoshica for being an amazing person, God Bless!

    « Irish-Italian Parade Weekend »

We stayed here March 19-21, 2016 for my annual ride in a local parade. This is my 4th year staying here & the staff is always professional and helpful. Room 1403 is in the newly re-opened Tower & it was huge & beautiful. We were impressed with the "real" kitchen, esoecially the nice big refrigerator. This is a handicapped accessible room and we appreciate the large bathroom with the easy walk-in shower with two grab-bars. Lots of nice towels and lovely linens with extra pillows & a safe in the closet. Two big TVs, two huge picture windows with an awesome view toward Lake Pontchartrain. Regarding the breakfast which has had some poor reviews--the scrambled eggs are rather bland, as they should be to meet all dietary concerns. The grits were creamy & smooth-no lumps. The bacon & sausage are plentiful & there are also biscuits & gravy, pancakes, fruit, cereals, juice, coffee & milk. What more can you ask for? My husband likes oatmeal-even the little instant packages would be OK. We appreciate the many handicapped parking places right in front. We will be back----

    « Great Location! »

I was very surprised by the hotel appearance and the spacious room I had. Was a great location just 15 minutes from downtown with traffic. Plenty of choices for each meal within walking distance or a short drive. The bar was rather small but who travels to New Orleans to drink in the hotel!!!!! With the cost of parking at downtown hotels around $42 a night this is a great option without sacrificing the comfort of a good room with a separate bedroom, living room, and kitchen area.

    « Outdated & Small »

Hotel is 20 minutes from downtown New Orleans. Although parking is included with your hotel stay it is limited. The lobby is outdated compared to many others as is the rest of the hotel. Elevators & hallways are very dark & gloomy. The rooms are small & outdated as well. A flat screen TV does not make a room 'modern nor updated". Whatever you do, don't eat in the Cafe - ugh!

« GREAT HOTEL WONDER EMPLOYEES »

This was a great stay the room was awesome. My husband and I stayed here for our 24th wedding anniversary.I must admit I was pleased. We stayed on the annex side in a Jacuzzi Suite and the room was to die for there was a jacuzzi tub right next to the bed it was awesome.

    4
    « Convenient, Comfortable »

Convenient to airport and downtown. Rooms big and clean. Beds very comfortable and shower was great. Staff helpful and personable. The only complaint I had was that the breakfast was overpriced and one dinner meal in particular was unacceptable to two of us that ordered it. We did not report the problem, but probably should have. The convenience of a place to eat in the hotel was great, but they need to improve the quality of the meals.

    « Wedding trip »

Had a great stay. Stayed in a suite and it was wonderful with great beds and pillows. Rooms were very quiet and great eating places and bars near by. Would highly recommend for big groups or family! Facility was very well kept and a bar in hotel and breakfast available.

« Bathroom needs overhaul, noisy »

The bedroom was ok, the bed itself very good, but the bathroom is seriously outdated and needs an overhaul, including a toilet that doesn't run. The most serious issue was our last night during which the loud music from a wedding downstairs was rocking our room until well after midnight.

« Great place to stay on business »

Great place to stay if you have business in Metairie area. Close to Whole Foods and other shopping. Suite has full kitchen (including dishwasher, not that I used it), and everything you need to take care of yourself while away from home. Quiet, clean, but skip the breakfast, it was awful.

    4
    « HORRIBLE BREAKFAST SERVED »

Everything about the breakfast was just nasty. Eggs were a ball of wet yellow of nasty. the grits look like play-do, the bacon was just a ball of grease. hotel was excellent EXCEPT the breakfast. we stayed on 03/05/16. the room was excellent. we will stay again but won't eat the breakfast there.

    « FreeRider annual party »

Had a great time. Will stay again next year. Breakfast was ok could have been a little better. I think y'all should go ahead and remodel the annex side also so that the total package can be there. Suites are really nice on the Copeland Tower side.

    « A fantastic surprise »

This hotel was a second choice because many others in the area downtown were too pricy. However, this will be my first choice from now on. The rooms were over the top! Our suite had a full kitchen stocked with utensils, living room with two chairs and couch, dining table, beds were so comfortable, roomy bathroom with plenty of towels, shower only though. Price was very affordable. Service was excellent. Neighborhood was great with plenty of food choices! Whole foods down the street. There were two very large groups in the hotel when we were there, sound was NOT a problem. Great views of the city and just minutes from downtown. Save money and stay here! You won't be disappointed.

    « They Got it Right !! »

Our stay at the Landmark started out by circling the hotel twice: there's no noticeable sign identifying it and we assumed it was an office complex by the look (open, visible parking lot on the street level.) Finally, we saw a Best Western sign affixed to the building high above where we were looking. It's worth finding. The renovation was immediately evident when we entered the lobby: it's beautifully done, spacious with a soaring ceiling, plenty of seating, coffee/tea 24/7. All the amenities were available in the room which was comfortable and quiet. Only suggestion would be to brighten the corridors: very dimly lit once you exit the elevator, an easy fix. Also, it's conveniently located; about 15 min. from the French Quarter so the crowds and noise of downtown are there only when you want them.

    « Exceptional! »

A wonderful hotel with an exceptionally pleasant staff. We stayed in the Tower in a King suite. The room was tastefully decorated and very large - really like a small apartment. Ms. Munoz is the "revenue Manager" and she is extremely helpful and attuned to her customers needs. We consider this hotel our home base when we are in New Orleans.

    « First Class Service. »

Stayed here the night before my 6am flight from New Orleans. Check in was fast and Charles at the front desk was very friendly and helpful on where to park. My room was very clean and the jacuzzi tub was very relaxing. Great way to start a trip. Check out was easy and Terrence at the front desk was also very pleasant. I had forgotten to pack toothpaste and he was able to help me with this free of charge. I'm sure other hotels would have been happy to charge an arm and a leg for that. I did have a very minor complication with the room I was in but was handled immediately by the manager. I completely overlooked this from the excellent service I received from Charles and Terrence. I travel a lot and it was just refreshing to be acknowledged for once. Thank you and will stay again.

    « Nice updated hotel »

I have driven by this landmark hotel so many times but had never stayed there. I thought it would be outdated because I remember seeing it from my childhood. It is very nicely updated, staff is super nice and helpful and it is in a very good location. We stayed there for a soccer tournament and the location with respect to the fields was great. It is close to many different restaurants and it has easy access to the interstate.

    5
« My favorite in the New Orleans area »

I was quite surprised at how nice this hotel is! It was storming outside and I was happy to be able to have covered parking, then you come into the entrance and it's a gorgeous hotel. The staff were there to greet me, gave me a great room, the restaurant had good food after a long trip from Houston. This has made my regular New Orleans trip something I look forward to.

    « Great Hotel! »

We decided to go to Mardi Gras and didn't want to deal with the craziness of staying in the city so Metairie was a great option for us. We were still within walking distance of the local Metairie parades and only 15 minute driving distance from the New Orleans parades, local restaurants and shops. Great staff and great accommodations. We will definitely stay here again.

« Mardi Gras in NOLA »

Overall nice Hotel, nice area. Rooms are small if your tall you may want to avoid the bathroom, the water pressure is really low and the water is kind of slimy sticks with your skin after your dry. I've stayed at other Hotels in NOLA and can't blame the water source. Parking is a bit cramped if you drive a SUV or Truck be careful. Breakfast is good for being FREE but I would rather eat at many of the great restaurants...courtyard area is nice as is the bar. they also have no security and the rooms doors face out anyone can't just walk in and out on this property. The street where the hotel sits is under major construction so lobby and bar are covered in dust. Staff of the hotel were good allowed me to check in early. Like I said Hotel was decent would not however be my first choice more of a back up plan.

    « Refreshing »

After a long drive from Las Vegas to New Orleans, and finding your hotel, it was so refreshing to have a confident, bubbling staff to assist us in checking in and getting us to our rooms. Their knowledge of New Orleans, of great restaurants, markets and places to see was outstanding. Each time we came in we were greeted, and asked if we needed any assistance in getting our purchases to our rooms. The staff made us feel comfortable, and very welcome.

Likes: Location was perfect for the reason we were in town. Parking was perfect. Hotel lobby very clean and inviting. Loved, loved, loved our room layout especially the full size kitchen area which came in very handy with the kids. Mattress was very comfortable. Separate living space with sofa sleeper was ideal. Liked that the bathroom was far enough away from living quarters and bedroom. Separated vanity from shower and toilet was ideal for my family as well. Dislikes: Even though the shower was very spacious and perfect for adults, it's sort of difficult for persons traveling with small kids who need a bathtub. Not sure if I would have sacrificed that wonderful shower though. Other dislike and which made me grade only a 'very good' overall experience was that not all the front desk clerks were friendly. I had the opportunity to speak to at least 3 of them during our stay and only one really showed friendliness and 'he' seemed genuinely pleased and thankful that we selected his hotel to stay in.. The other 2 females seemed to care less. Lastly, I asked a question of one of the porters or workers in the hallway and they could not really understand English. It's ok that you hire foreigners but make sure they can speak English. That is an investment you should want to make. Think of your business and who your patrons are who you want to come back and perhaps grade you an excellent in your surveys.

Great stay, we try to always stay at Best Western in all our travels. We get the best desk people that airways seem to go out of there way to make our stay remarkable. This trip we were two hours late checking in.Yet we were comfy in our room in less than 30 minutes.

    « Nice hotel »

We stayed here for 4 nights while in town for a funeral of a family member. The location was very convenient and the amenities were fine. We missed having the free breakfast that most places offer now but everything else was fine. The parking lot was very convenient and the elevators worked well.

    « not happy »

my room wasn't clean! I had to keep going down to the front desk ask for towels and to have my room clean. The TV did not work correctly! I ask to have it fix it never got done I ask to be compensated all they could offer was a couple drinks. This was by far the worst hotel Eperience I have had in a long time I would expected more from BEST Western I travel a lot and people ask about my experience recommendation not!

    « What's happening these days??? »

Stayed here the weekend after Mardi Gras, prices dropped 75%, so $130 night seemed more reasonable? The apparent change from the included continental breakfast to the pay-for-the-same-dam-thing breakfast is a sign that the economy must be recovering. It is a trend I have been noticing at this chain of hotels. Rooms were not cleaned completely, housekeeping had to go back to empty garbage and remove a used towel, I ordered a coffee at the pay-for-it station, it was pis warm, but overall, the business was clean. Staff were very pleasant. Thinking of changing hotel chains.

    « Nice Hotel »

I felt welcomed the moment I walked into the building. (Amber) was all smiles and very friendly. Handled our check in with quickness. The building is beautiful. At the moment they have it decked out for Mardi Gras. The hotel is located near Veteran's Boulevard which is convenient to to a lot of shopping and dining. Plenty of FREE parking. The room is large and nicely furnished. I love the lamps that have the plug ins so I don't have to unplug the clock! Free breakfast buffet and free wifi in the room. I can recommend the hotel to all.

« Birthday trip to New Orleans »

My family of 5 planned a trip to New Orleans to celebrate my sister-in-law's 40th birthday. We originally booked a house on AIRBNB, but the place turned out to be a dump. We hastily looked for accommodations elsewhere and booked a room online for Best Western Plus Landmark Hotel & Suites. We showed up at the front desk at 7pm tired, hungry, and grouchy, having had a not-so-good start to our first trip to NOLA. Charles and Sybil saved the day, getting us settled in our room, and providing suggestions for food and tips for local attractions. Our trip went from bad start to a really nice ending, thanks to their kindness and hospitality. The hotel was clean, and our room was adequate for four adults and one child, with two comfy beds and a pull-out sofa, a full fridge, microwave, and small dishwasher. We took advantage of the fitness center and café (there was an extra charge for breakfast), parking was free for guests, and there was a grocery store, Whole Foods, restaurants galore, shopping mall nearly. Downtown NOLA was a short drive (about 15 minutes away).

    « Another Wonderful Stay »

I just wanted everyone to know how great the Best Western Plus Landmark Hotel and Suites in Metairie, Louisiana is!! I've been staying there almost every week for at least 10 years. The staff is always welcoming and very helpful. The general manager Rex is always checking on how things are and if they can make it better. The rooms are always super clean. There's no other hotel that I would stay at. The food is always greet in the hotel restraunt. I highly recommend everyone to try this hotel out. You will not be disappointed.

« Excellent Management and Staff »

The staff and management at this hotel are amazing. I would like to give a special thanks to Charles and Theresa for their assistance with a recent issue with my bill. They were so patient and understanding with my needs and took the time to investigate and work with me. We need more people like these two in this world! If traveling this way again, I would definitely stay here. Excellent customer service!

    5
    « Excellent Tower Room »

In the interest of full disclosure, I received a substantial discount on this room, courtesy of Teresa Munoz. Our room was an Executive Suite with a full kitchen, living room, bedroom, dressing room and bath. The room was very nice, tastefully decorated and seemed very new. It was quiet, the internet connection was strong. The lovely shower was spa like. The bed was firm and comfortable. Two TV's - one in the bedroom, one in the living room. My only observation is that the towels are not luxury like I would expect to find in a room like this. I don't know how much the individual hotel have over the choice of their bath towel, but an upgrade would be a plus. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

    5
« Great Staff, Wonderful Hotel »

The Hotel renovations are grand. Suite rooms are as big as an apartment with all equipment you need to live in. My Rehearsal Dinner was well managed and the food and staff were excellent. Dressing for my wedding day with my groomsmen was made easy with the spacious rooms. Breakfast buffet was good value, well presented and staff was helpful and informative.

    « Business Trips »

Hotel always seems to have remodeling work going on when I stay. But the rooms are large and the suites are very welcoming. Every room has a microwave and refrigerator - that's what I look for when traveling on business. I am really surprised Best Western has these suites rooms. They're are really great and quite! The suites are like apartments/condos and located in the Copeland Tower. Must see to appreciate. I'd rather stay in a suite during my travels, but the rate is not always within the approved business travel rate. Staff is friendly and prompt to assist with your needs. Breakfast is not complementary and is not served until 6:30 AM. Business trips have me leave at 6:30 - no time to eat breakfast in their restaurant. Like to watch volleyball games across the street from the hotel. Love the location.

    4
    « Great Value »

Excellent location, convenient & free parking, excellent staff, and relaxed atmosphere made this a great choice. Facility had construction going on and I wish I knew what they were doing: fixing things that were broken, upgrading facilities, making an addition or other. A brochure picturing the expected outcome would be great advertising. elk

Wow!!!! The service at thi hotel was excellent!!!! We had a little incident with a staff member and oh boy did they make it up to us!!! Orrin Charles is the best!!!! He immediately handled the situation professionally and with empathy; and not only made sure we enjoyed the rest of our stay at the hotel, but he also made sure had no worries while we were on our cruise!!! Extraordinary Experience!!!! We will always stay here when in Louisiana!!! Thanks to the rest of the staff who made our stay enjoyable as well! Food was great as well!

« Great Metairie / New Orleans hotel option »

I lived in New Orleans and still have family in the state and have stayed at numerous hotels in New Orleans, Metairie and Kenner and this is one of the cleanest, most convenient and friendliest staff I've encountered. I stayed in a suite with a kitchen -- which was perfect with a Whole Foods Market just one block away! We grabbed dinner from Whole Foods and it was still hot when we sat down and ate in the comfort of our living room with large flat screen TV -- perfect after a day of driving!

    5
« Large Clean Spacious Suites and Friendly Staff »

Parking is easy and close to the front door but limited at night, large covered area to unload luggage. Although the lobby is undergoing some remodeling it is still nice, clean and inviting and I suspect it will be even much more so when the renovations are complete. Sybil was very friendly and greeted us right away and checked us in quickly. We were a large family staying in 2 rooms. Sybil made every effort to get us rooms as close together as possible. She was also knowledgeable about the area and gave some great recommendations on places to eat! The suites were very spacious to accommodate our family and they were some of the cleanest hotel rooms I have ever seen! Great views of Metarie and close to the highway and a nice mall. 10 minute drive into downtown New Orleans. I would stay here again when visiting New Orleans.

Parking was great and i would say that this is one of the best best western I have ever stayed in.

    « Last Minute Hotel »

After being scammed out of a rental home, my friends and I found an available suite here. Very nice hotel! They are remodeling some of it but still very nice. « Beautiful place to stay »

The front staff was ok but normally a lot nicer. The hotel was getting minor re-model. But the Tower rooms are highly recommended. They are spacious and divides bedroom from living room. Great if you have kids or mate that's different from you.

The Best Western Landmark is billed as an airport hotel. We were upgraded to a suite on the eleventh floor, which had been recently refurbished and was the size of a small apartment. The room was absolutely spotless, and quiet as a tomb. I would stay again.

« Great staff, amazing suites. Great stay!! »

The staff at this hotel did an excellent job of making us feel welcome. The upgrade to one of the new suites was perfect and the room was AMAZING. The value for the room is exceptional. Nice kitchen, good sized seperate living area, large master bedroom, great seperate bath with huge walk in shower. The room was brand new and exceptional. Wifi worked great throughout the property. Bed was a memory foam bed and was very comfortable. Slept great!! There was even a big Christmas party 6 floors above us on Saturday night and we would have never known if we didnt see some partiers in the elevator (fun people).. We never heard it and never had any issues. Great stay and a great staff .We will stay there again.

    « Beautiful new rooms! »

The rooms have been remodeled and the suites are spacious and all new! Beds are very comfortable! Sybil and Charles at the front desk were so friendly and helpful with check in! « Morning employee problem »

Maids seem to be rushing to get us out. One knocked on the door and let herself in while we were still in bed at 8;15. Then another at 10:30. Really couldn't get any information on in house lunch. Hallways were rather noisy. Walls paper thin. Could hear conversation in hallway as if they were in the room with us.

    3
« Hotel was fine. Breakfast is not Complimentary »

Hotel stay wasn't bad. Breakfast quality does not make it worth paying for. Breakfast clerk wasn't the friendliest. But Internet worked and room was easy to get to. It's a little hard to find. Not sure if I will use this location of BW again.

    « Such A Nice Surprise »

We booked here months ago for one night for our New Orleans trip. I wish I had known that it was refurbished and I would have booked it for three. Our suite was in the tower, 14th floor, and it was an apartment, with fully outfitted kitchen, living room, separate king bedroom and elongated bath with marble floors. So beautiful, one could easily live in it. The only thing wrong with this room was that there was no balcony, just a concrete slab poured outside the living room door. I guess that the balconies are coming. Also, as with many Best Westerns, breakfast is not included. We ended up buying the breakfast and it was worth it. Also, there is a quiet computer room with a printer and a reasonable restaurant in the lobby. I had two friends over that night and we had a quick bite to eat. They enjoyed that very much. There is also a multi level parking garage. If you have a chance to, stay here.

    « Concert stay »

Lobby under renovations 12/10/15, other than that, was a good stay. The kids loved the room and the internet. What impressed everyone the most was the size of the bathroom. It was HUGE! Allowed three females to get ready with no elbow bumping :)

    « Basic, unremarkable »

I'd read the other Trip Advisor reviews prior to coming and decided to form my own opinion. The first impression I got was that this well-worn, travel-weary hotel is in need of upgrading on so many levels. Appearance: The use of dark colors does nothing to inspire or impress. Our room was in the Annex and we had a lovely view of the air conditioning units on the roof. The carpet leading to the conference rooms was a mess. On arrival in our room I found a used bandaid on the floor and a hair in the sink. It's all in the details. The bed was comfortable. The room was cleaned once during our 5 night stay. Our trash was overflowing. A request for an additional luggage holder had to be repeated. Exiting the hotel to the wafting stink of cigarette smokers was disgusting. There's a grungy feel to the whole place. The staff was friendly and accommodating - this is not on them. The place needs an uplift in every way. We had the breakfast there twice, and no more. I can't take reconstituted eggs. I felt like the breakfast items were re-used day to day and nothing on the buffet was hot. Canned fruit does not impress. Even the coffee could have been hotter. I had 2 bites on my upper arm when I left and wondered if it could have been from the bed. To be fair it may not have been but that is the lack of confidence I have in the cleanliness. Just spritzing the floor and using a mat type of mop is only making a sticky surface. Corners were dirty and impressions are in the details. I was asked if I enjoyed my stay and I did - in that I slept and could shower and had good places to go and see. If all you need is only the basics and are on a budget this is okay. I really don't think I'll return.

Amazing front desk and staff. The room are nice and comfortable and the new rooms In the tower part are incredible. They have everything you need for a nice getaway from home visit. This is a really great place to book if you are looking for a enjoyable comfortable place to stay in the Metairie area.

« A very plesant surprise and stay »

Having stayed at the property over 10 years ago, wasn't expecting a 5 star experience. The surprise was the newly remodeled room was spacious, very well decorated and extremely comfortable. The hotel is continuing its renovation and looking good. The people at the front desk were great, very pleasant and willing to help with anything I needed. The conference room was comfortable, the temperature was very well controlled and the sound system was very adequate. The restaurant was reasonably priced and the food was very tasty. The hotel is just a little off the beaten path but still very near great food, fun and sites. I'll stay there again!

    « Becoming great again »

I stayed at this hotel about a year ago and it was an awful experience. I returned for a conference and man was I shocked about how much they are turning things around. The thing that impressed me the most was the staff. My first encounter was with a gentleman who checked me in. Turns out he was a manager there and was full of interesting facts and tips about the city. He even arranged us parking downtown at one of their other properties which was way above and beyond. The lady I encountered at checkout was awesome as well. She was about to get married and we chatted about her upcoming wedding. I felt like I was with family, not a hotel staff. The room was nicely appointed. I did not get one of the new suites, but my room was clean and comfortable. The only thing I would change is adding a bit more to the bedding. There is no comforter just a thin blanket. Otherwise it was great. I hope they keep doing what they are doing. A staff truly makes the hotel and it seems like they got the right one this time around.

« Beautiful hotel rooms with great guest services at the front desk. »

Loved the suite with a view of the city. From the minute I walked in the lobby I was greeted and provided with excellent hospitality by Amber and Charles who made sure my stay was a nice experience. I would stay here again with no hesitation.

    « A Mixed Bag! »

This hotel was really a mixed bag. It started when I made my reservation on the hotel's website and when I called the next day to ask if I could check in a day earlier, they did not have any record of my reservation (despite my having received an email) When they finally found the reservation, they said we would have to switch rooms in the middle of our stay as they did not actually have that room available. Given we were a family, I told them we would not do that. They offered to put us in a different room, however, I explained that we had teenagers we needed that specific room as it would fit us. We would also need a roller bed in the room we had reserved to ensure we could fit comfortably. (more on that later) They were finally able to sort out the reservation. When we checked in, we asked for a roller bed and the person at the desk said she'd get it from the manager. a couple of hours passed and we still hadn't received the roller bed. When we called, they said they actually could not give us one as they were not allowed to have more beds in that room. I talked to the desk manager and explained we had discussed it prior to checking in, however, when talking to the person I had held that conversation with, he told me they did not say that. I can't dispute it and assume it was a misunderstanding. As a by note, the room is very big, there is a Target not too far away that sells very comfortable air mattresses! The room comfortably fit the six of us and we were very comfortable in the room. At night, you did not hear any noise from within the hotel, however, (no fault of the hotel) you could hear an outdoor band that was playing at a bar half a block away. The music went on until well after midnight. Our room was not serviced on the second day for some reason. Now putting aside those negatives, the staff were lovely, as mentioned, the room was very large and there was never a problem with parking.

    « Excellent »

Cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Staff was kind, caring and always ready to help with whatever was needed. My husband's mother had passed away and we were there with his brother and his wife, her grandchildren and great grandson for her funeral. It was an emotional, stressful time made so much easier because of the hotel staff and the quality of the hotel and its amenities.

    « Not pleasant experience »

Stayed at Best Western in Metiarie, La and they lied to my husband and were very disrespectful. We was suppose to receive a voucher to compensate and this was in October 2015 and received nothing. As a person who works in public myself definitely would look at present staff and offer inservices or change my staff. They should not even have a job. We will never go back to New Orleans because of this poor service. I will pray for all of them!!

« I will DO IT AGAIN here for sure!!! »

Wow what a treasure this place turned out to be when I was at the end of my hours and in need of a place to stay! It was right around the corner from my last stop. Our corporate apartments were both occupied and I needed a place to stay and reset my hours. With a place to park my truck/trailer on the street, I literally walked across the sidewalk and into the parking garage of this beautiful hotel. The pool was outdoor and pretty nice. The lobby was like an indoor atrium with the tower of floors overlooking from above. There was a café inside and a lounge area as well. It seemed to be a popular place to be at around 5 pm, lol. The check in was fast and efficient and I went to my room on the 6th floor. The rooms were great. Very clean and roomy with great TV channels and a view overlooking a Beach Club and Bar next door and a ladies volleyball practice or competition going on. I didn't get to experience the breakfast but I will definitely be returning to take advantage of this very nice place. I walked to the Whole Foods store about a block or two away and there was an Outback restaurant across the street as well as a Buffalo Wild Wings and a Chinese and Mexican restaurant as well. This place really has it all and I am so glad I found it! I will DO IT AGAIN here for certain.

« Best Western minus the plus in Metarie, La. »

The hotel is not well marked unless you look up. The only Best Western sign we saw was at the very top of the building. There was no sign to indicate where to park. The lobby is very spacious, however the breakfast area is small and cramped. There is also an additional charge of $8.00 for breakfast. This should be complimentary considering the selection of foods. The rooms were nice with flatscreen television. WIFI was excellent. The location between the airport and downtown New Orleans was great for us. There is a large shopping center near the hotel with a great selection of restaurants nearby. Access from the freeway way difficult to figure out initially, but was great after we knew how to get to it. I would probably stay there again when in New Orleans.

    « Dingy »

Stayed at this hotel to attend a clock event that was being held there. Perhaps there are nicer parts to this hotel, but we were put up in the annex and it was not wonderful. To begin with, the room was very stuffy and no matter what we did with the air conditioning, it remained so. One of the lamps in our room did not work. The bottom of the full length mirror in the bath area was dirty and streaked and stayed that way during our whole stay. One day we had to call the front desk and ask that our room be made up, at 2:30 in the afternoon. One of the pillow cases on the bed seemed smudged with something. The towels in the room are quite small and definitely not high quality. There is a step in shower and there was one handrail in the bath. The room and really this whole part of the hotel seemed dingy. The hotel does not offer free breakfast nor does it provide newspapers for it's guest. There was complimentary coffee in the lobby. There is a "café" but it is really nothing more than some tables and chairs and not very inviting, nor is the lounge (and I use that term very generously here). Parking is a problem. Most of the parking places in front of the hotel are designated handicapped. There is a parking garage of the low ceiling variety which makes it sporty for those of us with full sized SUVs. The good news: The bed was comfortable, the front desk people are nice and welcoming, and it is a good location close to restaurants and shopping and it is only a short distance to New Orleans. This was our second time staying in this hotel and I don't think there will be a third.

This hotel is well located, close to downtown, about 6,5 miles from the French quarter which is easily accessible via I-10. Personnel was most helpful and pleasant; the services and amenities were very well presented.

« Great place for those that want to stay outside of Nola »

This hotel is very clean, has a pool, a bar, and a cafe. The staff is extremely friendly. The rooms are kind of old and can use updates, but they are tidy. The rooms have refrigerators, and microwaves. The location is near a lot of good dining and a mall(the mall has a cafe dumond In it for those that don't want to go to the French quarter for it. Our main complaint is that the air conditioner was SO LOUD in the room and woke us up every time it kicked on. It sounded like a jet engine. Other than that, I have no reason to tell anyone anything other than good experiences.

    « Excellent Service/Staff/Room »

I would give this a 5 star because of the room and the staff that greeted us and helped us when we arrived from Florida. It was raining and miserable and yet although they had a long line they handled everyone professionally. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star is because of them charging for breakfast. I am a Rewards member and I was still charged. The price was not expensive but I didn't understand why the charge when all other BW don't charge. The breakfast was the same as in other BW - just so so. However, as stated before every thing else was above par. We did not eat dinner here because the only thing offered was "Concession" food.

    « Stayed for Halloween »

Absolutely exceeded our expectations. I haven't been in a hotel like this for the price paid. If you are looking for a great place to stay you will be happily satisfied here. The rooms are in a spiral shape, where you enter into the kitchen, then living room, bedroom.. Hallway (you have a hallway in your room!!! So weird but cool!) and then into an all tile bathroom/shower. Everything is very VERY clean.

The staff is extremely helpful, from making the reservation, to checking out; everyone has been friendly and professional. They treat you like family, knowing your name when you walk in the door providing a welcoming atmosphere. I have always been asked about my stay, and I feel as though I am a regular, but they still ask with a smile. The rooms are always clean as well as the grounds. They are proud of their workplace and it shows. The Manager, Sybil is just the best!!!

    « No complaints »

It was a nice property. Check in/out was easy enough and adequate parking available. Booked a queen suite and we checked in pretty late but the room was ready and clean. We needed extra blankets and pillows and we're able to get them. The only thing was the suite wasn't a traditional suite. The two queen beds were in the same room. The living room area of course had the pull out. Was expecting 3 rooms, one for each queen but it all worked out.

« Kayla, Kevin, and Danny made the stay pleasant! »

Kayla (the beverage supervisor) epitomizes the best in customer service! She was THE best staff member on the entire team. Kevin (kitchen manager) went out of his way to offer nice menu options and to ensure a clean, pleasant, attractive environment. Danny (who strived to fix everyone's TVs) could not have been more professional or pleasant. The "average" rating is NOT a reflection on these folks--they are beyond excellent!

This hotel in Metarie served our WW2 Reunion group with excellent service and kindness at every turn. I was there for 5 days and never saw an employee without a smile and a greeting. The food was great at breakfast and at a banquet. the bed was top notch and comfortable. Ad the AC kept the room cool each evening. Also the WiFi provided a fast connection. Highly recommended.

« away from the french quarter »

when I called the hotel they told me the hotel the hotel had been newly renovated in 2015, so I thought this would be a good fit. When I got to the hotel, you could not get a parking spot because they had a gem show going on that weekend. When I got to the desk to get the room, I asked , how far is the French quarter, he said 10 min. , its actually 25 min. at the least, he gave me a room which smelled like smoke, the room was not renovated , just an old room, old furniture, loud window unit air conditioner, maid service was mediocre at best. The breakfast was 8.50 and the woman that worked there acted like they were annoyed that you were there, the whole hotel is dirty. plus no free coffee in the lobby

    « Lots of potential »

The BEST WESTERN PLUS Landmark Hotel & Suites has the potential to be the best hotel in Metairie. The size of the hotel, the location, the friendliness of the staff & the clean, open, modern decor & ambience when you enter the hotel are all pluses. However, for a large hotel, there is no bell service. You are at the mercy of guests bringing bell carts back to the lobby. I eventually had to search the floors for a cart. When I reached my floor, there were 3 carts left in the hallway. There was a gem show and several wedding parties going on during my stay. The noise from the hallway continued until 5AM. The parking was free but overbooked. And the rooms had small signs of age. This hotel has much promise & potential if focused the right way.

    « Just ok »

I stayed here on a Friday night with my husband. The lobby appeared modern and renovated. We had a regular king room on the 4th floor. I could tell this was an older hotel by the old fashion chain that locked the door. The room and hallway were dark. It had some updates like the crown molding and looked clean upon first glance. Behind the bathroom door was grimy and caked with dust so it makes me wonder what else was dirty that I couldn't see. It had a microwave and fridge that was nice. The bed wasn't firm nor soft, somewhere in the middle. There weren't any blankets provided, just two sheets to cover up with which made for a restless night. I'm not sure I would stay here again unless I didn't have other options.

Everytime I travel to the NOLA area I stay at this hotel......why ? I am treated so very professionally, courteously, respectfully that they have drawn me into their voo doo web :) They quite simply have earned my respect from the first visit on ..... The hotel is first class from the parking garage and it's accessibility to the 8th floor where my skinning room is. ! ( smoking allowed only on the 8th. !!!! I've never seen their brand new suites because I am a smoker ( not allowed ) but I've been told they are amazing ! I recommend this amazing hotel to all travelers and don't forget all of Metairie's attractions !

    « Experience in tower-dependent »

The first time I stayed here, it was a last-minute arrangement. I had heard that the hotel had been renovating so we choose it over the other Metairie hotels. HOWEVER, the room we were given ( a non-suite room) was in the tower that has NOT been renovated and desperately needs it! That tower is decorated in shades of brown and it's pretty awful and dated. The room was dated, old carpet, "stale" smell and the bathroom light sounded like a bug zapper , just to name a few things.WE were disappointed and would not stay there again unless it was completely renovated and updated. On the flip side, we had family who booked a suite in the other tower and there room was great. It was renovated, aesthetically pleasing and modern. I would definitely stay in that room. I wish there was more transparency in the night & day experiences you will encounter depending on which room you choose. So, if you stay here, make sure you get a suite if not, I would definitely stay elsewhere!

« Really good but not great »

I stayed here for a couple of nights on business and must say that for the most part I was pleasantly surprised. The biggest problem is trying to find where the front of the hotel is. I drove around the block three times before finally calling to find out how to get in. You have to pull into the parking garage to be able to access the entrance. No signs indicating that which seemed very unusual to me. When I did walk in I was impressed. Big open lobby area with iPads for use and an open ceiling so one could see all the way up to the 8th floor walkway. The hotel does have a lot of darker colors in their facility but plenty of light in the room. It has a cafe but breakfast is not included which was really disappointing. Staff was friendly. It's the New Orleans area so it's the typical poor roads and traffic problems but that is not the hotels fault. Plenty of choices to eat from within just a few minutes drive. If I'm ever back in the area I will most likely stay here again.

« Dated hotel but not horrible »

We only spent one night here. We got the room for a decent rate and I had read that they have a heated outdoor pool and steam room. Check-in was quick and easy. We had a room on the 7th floor. The room was a good size with two queens. The shower/tub was hot and there was a mini-fridge, TV and study. We tried the pool but thought it was too cold after a few minutes and the steam room was no longer existent on the property. The hotel is a bit dated and it shows. There are nicer and more luxurious hotels around but they are more expensive. Parking was free however and that is a plus around New Orleans. This hotel is in downtown Metarie overlooking the I-10 and just two blocks from Veterans and the big mall. Our stay wasn't bad but nothing about the hotel wowed us. The drive to downtown NOLA is about fifteen minutes with moderate traffic, not too bad. This could once again be a landmark hotel with some updating and modernity.

    « WOULD NOT RETURN »

I came here for my birthday-I was a little hesitant on staying here but it was almost a last minute thing. I was booking the room through a 3rd party-.. Since we were nearly there, I just assumed they would let me go in and see if the smoking room would be ridiculously intolerable as I am not a smoker--and if not see if they would have some non smoking rooms available. I went inside and the hotel lobby was really neat and equipped with mini ipads while you wait. I walked up and spoke with a gentleman. Explained the situation as far as the smoking rooms be available through the 3rd party but wanted to go in and see would it be tolerable. The gentleman advised they were sold out and didn't even have any smoking rooms available. So I left. After he told me they were sold out even through 3rd party companies, I went back online and the same rooms were showing up. So I booked it and I be dogged if I didn't get a reservation number. I then went back inside and provided the reservation number. After that he was extremely helpful. He and 1 other young girl were sweet--However, there were other workers there that appeared to be very dry and no customer service skills at all. The gentleman ended up finding us a non smoking room out of the sold out facility.--We were highly grateful for this. Rooms were cute but very basic. Rooms could use some remodeling and the bathrooms are very outdated and tiny!! All in all the location is great but for the price, I will not be returning. We never got a chance to see if they had a pool or tour the work out room. The topper on this trip was when I called downstairs and asked what time was late check out as most hotels offer this if they have it available. the girl working on Saturday on the night shift paused and in the worst attitude said "late check out? WE DON'T HAVE LATE CHECK OUT". I asked for a wake up call the next morning considering we got in super late. Needless to say I didn't get it. I called downstairs the next morning and asked for a late check out and the front desk clerk gave it to me no questions asked. I just know the other girl who worked with Dawn, who was super sweet, needs to go back through some serious customer service training! For that reason, I will not be returning. I should not have to pay top dollar to put up with some funky attitudes! Again--location is great--directly across the street from the mall and nice places to eat like buffalo wild wings and TGI Fridays. * Free WIFI in the room was a plus*

« Our overall experience was great! »

This was a very nice, and for the most part, very clean hotel. There was a minor issue with our first room in that it had a very awkward smell; however, with no problems at all they switched us to another room. The service here was excellent...especially the front desk worker Gigi! She greeted us with a smile and presented us with awesome customer service! When our family vacations, sometimes customer service takes more precedence than anything. Additionally, this hotel was in the perfect location. We were in the city for many events for the weekend. In choosing this hotel, we had access to the interstate within 1 mile of the hotel and were able to walk to the mall and nearby restaurants. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!
