Best Western Plus Meridian Hotel

This hotel is top notch. I never have the slightest problem and all the amenities are excellent. Breakfast is by far the best. There is a pool , hot tub and slide. My room is always immaculate and ready for me.

The hotel staff, in all area, was friendly , helpful and very good at their jobs. Made the stay enjoyable! Very good breakfasts. We are hockey fans so enjoyed seeing the teams, and dropping over to the arenas to watch the young lads play.

We have stayed in this hotel a few times. The staff are always amazing and go above and beyond for their guests. The complimentary breakfast has the largest selection of food and beverages I have ever seen in a hotel. The pool, slide and hot tub we a big hit for our family. This will always be our hotel of choice in Lloydminster.

We stopped here for one night on the way to a family reunion, and one night on the way home. We were able to get the same adjoining rooms for each stay. The customer service was outstanding, the rooms were large and clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options. The pool and waterslide were excellent for my grandchildren. The staff really go above and beyond with little personal touches to make guests feel welcome. I can understand why this hotel is rated # 1 in Lloydminster.

Front desk staff and breakfast/dining room staff were amazing! They did everything in their capabilities to ensure we had the most enjoyable stay possible with our 20 month old daughter. We loved every minute, including the water slide. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed trying out the water slide. The breakfast spread was delectable.

No other place like home, a very quite and safe place to stay. Nice and delicious breakfast , if you want to rest and want your body relax go down at pool room it nice to sit and relax at hot tub , gym amenities was set and comfortable to use.

Its a Nice and Clean Hotel, Great staff, Good amenities, Good breakfast, Safe neighborhood, it is reasonably priced, and last but not the least its worth each penny you spend here. It will be my first choice of Hotel for all my future stays.

Staff was so accommodating and friendly! We have loved this hotel for the last 10 years one of our faves. Breakfast was really good love all the selection. Our room was so big and was very clean very accommodating when asking for a earlier check in and later check out. Overall an amazing experience as always.

Very clean, safe hotel. Amazing staff! Very accommodating. Breakfast was different each day. Pool was great for the kids. Rooms were very clean and the bed were very comfortable. Parking was great and the parking lot was well lit.

This hotel did everything right. We didn't have 5 star resort expectations but were surprised on on just how well this hotel did rate. We felt it was the best value one could get for the price. We even decide to stay another night just because.

Clean, comfy, great parking, great staff and great breakfast. We were visiting family in Lloyd and chose this hotel based on recommendations from my cousin. The location was great, we felt safe when parking our car, the lobby and room were clean and comfy and the staff was great. The breakfast provided so many options...make your own pancakes, amazing coffee machine, scrambled eggs, tasty potatoes and the next day there were perogies. So Sasky! We will stay again. Thank you!

I was pleasantly surprised. Not that I wasn't expecting the stay to be good. But for what we paid and what we got. Excellent! It covered all the bases. Clean, value, breakfast, friendly top notch service, amenities, Quiet. Everything. Which was surprising for the cost. Good value.

We had a wonderful 2 night getaway to Lloydminster! The BW Meridian Plus hotel was above and beyond all our expectations!!! Gemma, who checked us in and out was a true gem!! They gave us an upgraded suite on the fourth floor! The one bedroom Jacuzzi suite with steam shower were a wonderful treat!! The breakfast was excellent as well, with Cathy giving us helpful information on the area and cleaning tables etc!!! She interacted with all the guests and made everyone feel very welcome. The breakfast menu also changes from day to day. Definitely worth the 2 1/2 drive to stay there!

We grabbed a last minute room because it was late a night and we needed to get some sleep. We found the hotel comfortable, the staff were helpful. This would be a great place to stay if you want to go to the recreation centre in Lloydminster - it has a walkway connecting it directly to the centre.

This hotel is always first class. From when I check in at night to the awesome breakfast in the morning. Everything is superb. The rooms are are always clean and they have very comfy beds. The pool and hot tub are very nice after a long day. This hotel also has a covered walkway to the rec center next door.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful, all areas of the hotel were clean, the pool and hot tub were great, the beds were comfy, it was quiet, and the breakfast was outstanding (the best I've seen in a long time). I was sorry we were only staying one night. I definitely wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

This BW hotel was clean, quiet, and friendly. The breakfast had an excellent selection and knowledgeable staff. The pool, waterslide, and hot tub were a perfect way to unwind after a long day of winter travel with two children. We will stay here again!

I enjoyed staying here! Nice clean rooms! Free hot breakfast! Swim pool and hot tub were great. Staff was friendly. Cookies were great. Weather not so great. But warm inside the hotel. Bathroom was superb!

We stayed here for the night of Dec. 25th, check out Dec. 26th. Every staff member we encountered was very friendly. The hotel was decorated so nicely for Christmas too. It made it easier to be away from home for Christmas. The pool was only open 12-8 on Christmas Day (which was understandable) but open regular hours on Boxing Day. The hotel was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the pool was clean and well kept. We didn't use the breakfast, so I can't comment on that. When we checked out, we were less than 5 minutes from the hotel and had a phone call from the front desk that we had left a necklace behind in the room. I don't think we've ever had a hotel call and let us know we left something behind, especially so promptly. We were very impressed and thankful that they took the time to do this. Overall, a 10/10 all around. Not a single complaint about this hotel and we will definitely stay again.

This is the best hotel we've stayed at in a while. It was clean, the pool is a good size, the staff was helpful and attentive and the breakfast was by far the best hotel breakfast. Tons of options. We'll book here again if we're ever back in Lloyd

The service by all staff was exquisite. Friendly, warm, and welcoming. The room was exceptionally clean, and the bed was oh so comfortable. Numerous eating establishments within walking distance. Overall, a very comfortable and restful stay.

This location is good and nice breakfast to start your day. They treat everyone equal regardless of rewards status. Rooms are nice and clean a d a Tim Hortons across the parking lot. When traveling into town I typicly stay here

This place is excellent. Front staff make you feel welcome. Rooms are great. Beds are real comfy Lots of pillows and air conditioner is great and quite quiet. Pool. Hot tub. Awesome breakfast in the morning. Bacon. Eggs. Hash browns. Make your own waffles. A juice machine and an espresso machine. Can not believe that anyone would give this hotel any less than a 5 out of 5.

Always find Best Western to meet our needs at a fair price. Pool and hot tub were wellhead and clean. The breakfast at Best Western Plus are always well done. They are lo aged in walking distance e to amenities in the area.

Arrived to hotel right near check in, friendly staff quickly got me settled, provided everything I'd need to navigate amenities, and signed me up for rewards. It was clear they were proud to work there. A very welcome hot breakfast that is more often rare to find these days provided by the hotel free before check out.

Preregistration was helpful as we had anticipated our late arrival. Room was clean, and we found noise minimal. Front desk service was excellent. We enjoyed our breakfast. We found lots of parking available.

Customer services was amazing from all staff. Plenty of amenities , everything was clean, breakfast was amazing . The hotel is not on the main drag so hotel was quiet but still has a lot of variety for restaurants for lunch and dinner.

Took my wife away for a quick getaway on our way to a wedding in Saskatoon. We were upgraded to a beautiful suite which just made it all the more special. A very well kept location and breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be back.

This hotel was a very positive surprise. The rooms are very well designed, with the bed separated from the living room by a wall, which is an excellent idea for privacy and business travellers. Their internet service is 5 stars. Super fast 150/150 up and down speeds are great for any business traveller who needs to remote to the main office or transfer files fast. You will be met at the surprisingly big and well designed breakfast room by super friendly and helpful staff that will make your days better. Their mattresses are very comfortable and you will feel like if you are sleeping on a cloud.

After spending a week here I can confidently say this was one of the best hotels I've stayed at. The front desk staff are wonderful and accommodating and even called after checkout about a small toy left behind. The toy was insignificant, but the fact they found it and called about it shows how much they care. The room was great and my kid really enjoyed the pool and waterslide. The pool staff were also quick to turn on the slide. Breakfast was standard fair and again the staff was very friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and I'm very grateful to all the staff for making our stay so comfortable.

Love the breakfast, quality, amount of choices and fresh. Room was clean and beds were comfy. We got a group rate for our baseball team and we were all able to be on the same floor. Unfortunate the hot tub was out of service as that is usually my highlight of a stay but cannot complain about the rest

I was very impressed with their gluten friendly selection. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They have a dedicated toaster in the back that only the staff has access to. They had everything labeled. It was so enjoyable I had to leave this review.

We stayed at this hotel with our kids to enjoy a weekend of swimming! The kids loved the pool and waterslide. The rooms were nice and clean and the breakfast was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful too.

The hotel seems very new. It is in a good location on the south side of town. There are reasturants and amenities within easy walking distance. The breakfast staff were excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

Great access to volleyball courts using the skywalk system. Close to all restaurants and grocery stores. Breakfast was decent but the lady working the continental breakfast was a great host and amazing with our volleyball team.

Staff work as team. But they also take time to know their guest and make relationships. I just really like the relationship piece with the hotel guests. I hate the fact I must put 200 word review. Silly

Have been a member and patron of BW for years. In most every case, the rooms are clean, the staff are excellent and all at a good value. The ones with a water slide are awesome and many have salt water treatment so are easy on the kids' eyes.

Staying here is quite simply a home away from home. It has everything a person needs. Great comfort and food! The more you stay the more you earn in rewards. Gemma and James in particular who I've met are excellent ambassadors for The Best Western. They go out of their way to make you comfortable.

The hotel was very nice. My room was upgraded without me knowing which was a very nice surprise. The breakfast was the best I've had since the start of the pandemic with lots of choices and an employee looking after the dining area that went above and beyond. Hotel seems to have a lot of guests who are contractors in the oil and gas industry but compared to other hotels, guests were very respectful and quiet. Highly recommend.

This is our second time staying here and both times it was incredible. The staff are so so so friendly and courteous.... not just in the way of doing their job but as great kind people that care. We will only stay here from now on!

We love this hotel! The staff is courteous and helpful. Pool, waterside and jacuzzi are terrific. Breakfast staff and food are fabulous. Regrettably, the WiFi is terrible. Location is great with a couple of good restaurants adjacent to the property and a recreation centre accessible via a sky walk!

First time here so I was a little concerned as the hotel is on a busy street but it was very quiet.. Best Western is always so accommodating. Nice surprise in our room with a Steam shower. Very happy with that.

This room is top drawer, quality finishes and a thick comfortable mattress, it has a window that opens. The bathroom is safe with a bar by the tub. The soap and shampoo are good quality, the towels big and fluffy. Toilet paper could be softer. A full size kettle is supplied which as a tea drinker, I really appreciate.Perhaps after covid, wine glasses and real cups and spoons could also be supplied. The only negative is the noisy fridge which we actually had to unplug. There is lots of parking for big vehicles and rv's. The staff are happy and friendly and you can tell they really like their jobs. Spiro's greek restaurant is nearby and they delivered a thoroughly delicious pizza right to the room.

Went to Hotel for hockey with grand son, good hotel well run Breakfast was packed. check in and check out was great. Kids had fun. in future should offer conf./banquet rooms for team gathering, meals, visiting. nice location.

We were storm stayed in lloydminister and the hotel and staff exceeded our expectations. The walkways were shovelled in a timely matter, the pool was clean, and we liked that there was a water slide. Good breakfast too

Rooms are average. Fridge was very loud and tv remote was broken. These items should be checked prior to guest check in so guests do not have to bother and waste their time. Front desk replaced TV remote and said fridge would be replaced the next day. That didn't happen….

I was on the 3rd floor, and am sure there were longterm stays on the 4th who walked like elephants. They quit at about 1130pm and started at 330am. Kids were running in the 4th floor hall, phoned front desk, not sure if they did anything about it.

A beautiful welcoming at the entry form the friendly staff. My stay was amazing, it is quiet, clean, close to restaurants. The rooms are large and the bed is so comfortable. This is a hotel you definitely need to stay in. It's a great price for the night.

I have always stayed at this property , the location , the amenities , the rooms but most importantly the STAFF. The GM Marlene has put together an amazing group of people who truly make a tired business traveller feel welcome. Whether a regular room or an unexpected upgrade - all the rooms are fine. This is a property that BW should model other properties after.

The only reason I did not give 5 stars was the beds were not comfortable. The pullout couch was really bad as all you could feel were the coils and the beds were a bit too firm. These need to be upgraded.

Warm & Wonderful staff. Lady at free breakfast was lovely. The lady who handled or check in was absolutely wonderful. She was warm, welcoming and helpful. The cleaning staff at this hotel are AMAZING. While working out I watched the pool attendant meticulously clean every corner of the pool area, spraying, scrubbing and wiping. He didn't slow down the whole time I was there. And when my family left the pool area he offered us a plastic bag for our wet clothes! awesome people at an awesome hotel. We're planning our next visit so we can stay here again.

My son and I have multiple allergies and frequently have to sit and watch the rest of our family enjoying the free breakfast. Not this time! There was a multitude of allergy friendly foods that we felt safe eating and it made a world of difference to both of us. I had already been impressed with how friendly each member of the staff was here, each one saying hello and being exceptionally helpful. I frequently saw members of staff cleaning high touch / high frequent areas. My kids loved the pool and the water slide and the water was checked regularly as well as water on surface areas cleaned to minimize risks. I will definitely be staying here the next time we are back!

Best beds I've slept in in a long time. Rooms are well maintained and comfy. Pool is decent size and also well maintained. Staff are very pleasant. Breakfast that is provided was very good with lots of variety. Would definitely recommend

This hotel was wonderful, right from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. All staff was always so courteous and friendly. The breakfast was so good and the staff there were so helpful, as we were travelling with a two year old. They helped with the booster seat and even cleared the table for us..they didn't have to, but went over and beyond with their helpfulness. We often go back to visit family and we will always stay at the Best Western.

We had a Best Western Gift card and I was a bit skeptical but when we checked in, it was honored, no question. The clerk was very friendly and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable and the towels were fluffy and plentiful.

This hotel is quite new and is very modern and clean. Rooms are spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The free breakfast has a very nice assortment of options. Staff were very accommodating and welcoming.

Hotel is clean and staff is very friendly. We appreciated the gravel parking in the back of the hotel as we had a trailer with us and most hotels do not accommodate this. breakfast buffet staff were very good.

We came to this hotel for a dance competition for the first time in 2 years due to Covid and all the staff welcomed us with open arms, big smiles (behind their masks) and friendliness! They were wonderful to talk to on the phone throughout the week booking swim times, always cheery and even offered us late late check out with our dance times! We had the best time!

The staff, amenities, and cleanliness of the hotel was amazing! We stayed in one of the suites and it was more than enough room for our family of four. We stayed during the week and were able to access the pool 3 times during our stay. The bagged breakfast was delicious and ready on time.

My kids and I needed a mini vacation! Our choice was the Best Western Plus in Lloydminster. It was close to shopping and restaurants. It has beautiful clean and comfortable rooms. And the pool was available for the family. We really enjoyed our time there and will be back soon!

I always like to stay at BW, the one in Lloyminister is especially nice. Hotel staff members are friendly and professional, rooms are top notch and the service is amazing. Plus the awards program is excellent.

We went to lloydminster as pools around Edmonton were still shut down and pools had a 1 family limit. We went during the week (Thursday night) and we were the only ones in the pool on Thursday night and there was only one other family of 3 on Friday morning. Swan for a total of 4 hours. The breakfast is ok, you have limited options due to covid and have to have your order in the night before. They hotel was very clean though some of the decor is getting a bit outdated. The hotel staff was nice and accommodating.

The front desk were friendly and polite throughout our stay. We stayed in the king suite with the fireplace. The room was the cleanest hotel room we've ever stayed in (and we travelled a lot prior to Covid). The bed provided us with the most comfortable sleep we've had in a long time. We liked that the suite had a separate bedroom from the living room, which has not been the case with booking suites at other hotels. The price we paid for the suite on a Thursday night was the same you'd pay for a regular room in Edmonton on the weekends. We also enjoyed having the pool and hot tub to ourselves. There's no restaurant attached to the hotel but there are many close by, including a Tim Hortons in the same parking lot. We ordered Original Joes through SkipTheDishes and it was the quickest delivery we've ever had thanks to the close location of the hotel to nearby restaurants. The food was just as fresh and hot as it would have been if you were sitting in the restaurant. Once we checked out and had started our drive home, we realized we'd forgotten our toddlers favourite toy in the room and the housekeeping staff tore the room apart to find it for us. They saved us from having a very upset child on the long drive home.

Though not close to major shopping Ares in Lloydminster for walking purposes it does have restaurants and fast food places close by. It also has enclosed access to the Servus sports complex. Great value and service.

Great hotel fallowing all COVID rules all amenities were perfect pool was fantastic the pool attendant was very nice and kept the place very clean and tidy and the Greek restaurant just out the front doors of hotel was on point

The Staff at this Hotel are outstanding. The facility itself has all you need and is clean and tidy. Breakfast was all ready for us at 8 am like we asked. We had a small maintenance issue that was handled perfectly. We really enjoy staying at BW Plus Lloydminster.

Very nice, clean hotel. Staff is awesome and they follow all guidelines necessary to keep us safe. Rooms are more than adequate and beds comfortable. The property is situated near lots of restaurants and is very easy to get to. Have stayed here before and definitely will again.

Had the opportunity to stay at the Best Western in Lloydminster. Upon arrival I was treated as a valued customer and was able to check in early which was very much appreciated. Customer Service was great in all categories throughout my stay. Will definitely stay here again.

I arrived with my best friend and he was moving, so he had a lot of things. We ask the staff to keep his bike and tools inside and they were amazing! They put everything in a storage room with a lock that only the Front Desk knew the password. We felt really safe and confy with the staff. The room was clean and the breakfast was good! There you could choose what you wanted to eat, I love that and the grab and go.. OMG! Was soooo cute!!They draw everyone with a different message. That was so cute that we posted on instagram @clccardoso (you can see there!). The housekeeping was really sweet too! I think was the best BW that I've been. Thank you so much! <3

Was a last minute trip and booked the BW based on reviews and price. Was not disappointed. Great location, very clean, staff was fantastic. Great place to stay with little kids too, close to a great park.

We were only there for one night but everything was great. The check in was quick and the counter staff were very pleasant. The room is bigger than what we expected and the beds are very comfortable, we fell asleep instantly our heads hit the pillows. With Covid-19, there was not a breakfast offered, however you are given a check list at check in of what you can have for a quick bite in the morning and you just go down and get a very cute bag with a morning saying on it of what you requested. The lunch bag is done up by the front desk staff and it is a nice way to start the day. Definitely would stay here again.

We always stay here when we work in Lloydminster. Checking in is fast. Checking out is fast. The breakfast is good. Breakfast is awesome when there is no Covid 19. The front desk staff both morning and night are awesome.

A great trip to Lloyd for volleyball this weekend. From start to finish the Best Western was “The Best”. Ease of check in. Huge room. Comfy beds. Clean. Wonderful washroom. Best hotel breakfasts I have ever had. Servus Center facility connected to hotel. Great restaurant in parking lot Spiros. A hospitality room given free of charger for our team meal on Saturday night. Check smooth and efficient. But the best thing was the friendly attitude by every hotel employee we met. That makes me want to stay here as often as I can. Thank you Best Western Plus Lloydminster. We will be back.

After staying in hotels overseas, it is hard to get used to the huge rooms in smaller Canadian cities. The room was massive, it had a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee machine. Wifi and television worked great. There are less expensive hotels in Lloydminster but by reputation, this has a pool wqith waterslides where the pool does not have as much chlorine than other local hotels. The grandkids can only tolerate chlorine only for limited time. Rooms were quiet, Staff really friendly.

Very friendly staff. I understand change over in cleaning staff happens but our room was not cleaned proper. The location was amazing, it was connected to the sport venue. The breakfast was also amazing.

I go to Lloyd twice a month for work purposes. I have stayed at many other hotels in this Town. The best western is by far my favourite! The rooms are always clean, smells good, the orange shampoo and conditioner top off the fine details of my stay. Amazing!!!

This hotel allowed our group booking knowing very well that we were an atom hockey team, we booked 14 rooms, 4 rooms for 2 nights but the majority for 1. From the moment we arrived there were issues. When we had been there for 45 minutes (we arrived at about 5:45 pm) front desk mentioned a noise complaint. Said the room below had complained of our noise level for over an hour. We had not been there for that long. Kids chilled in the room for about 30 min then played mini sticks for about 10. We were in the room with them the entire time. Also this was well before "quiet time". When we took the kids to the unsupervised pool. all 4 of the kids, the front desk was immediately there telling us what they could and couldn't do. Stood in the pool aread and watched our kids for 20 minuets, when we went over to ask why, she turned and left. Again at 10 pm when our kids were in bed we got another call about how we were being to noisy. No one bothered to come to the room to see if there was any actual noise. Our kids were yelled at the following morning for touching the salt and pepper. Witnessed a child with another group yelled at for entering the room in her swimsuit. It would appear that this hotel is not kid friendly despite being attached to the sports complex, and would rather cater to oilfield crews.

We preregistered for our room and when we got there we were told the pool didnt work. When I express that was the reason we booked there the agent said, you're welcome to go to another hotel. We said it was too late to make other plans. We went to our room and after her confirming we had 2 kids and 2 adults, we had 1 bed in our room. We went back and switched rooms to an adequate room but the keys didnt work. And then, someone was on the phone on hold for a reservation and the other agent put them on hold while she accepted her skip the dishes order and disconnected the customer on hold. We ended up going to the local pool and spending $20 for our kids to swim. We came for my son to have surgery so it was important that we did something fun. We were also not greeted as reward members or offered the snacks they have there for members. Breakfast was amazing and the hotel was clean but their customer service was horrible. Also the hotel is way off the main highway.

Great hotel to stay at. Perfect location to restaurants and local amenities. Clean rooms, and great staff. I've stayed at this location a few times and have had no issues. Pool and hot tub area and breakfast rooms are large, had no issues with crowding.

Great value of staying - best option for the hockey ped access, kindly staff, very good breakfast options, fast checkin and checkout. Equipment room for the hockey team is a plus. Plenty of parking lots, close by restaurant for the team event. Clean room and nice setup.

always a great stay here, have stayed over 20 times and never had an issue. The breakfasts here are particularly good with more options than you normally see with free breakfasts. Although the property is on the extreme south side, it is easy accessed without have to drive through the city or highway 16 which can be quite congested. This is the only hotel we consider when visiting Lloydminster

Awesome property that is very well run! Emma was very accommodating as always! We stayed Christmas Eve, and we were vey impressed with how prepared they were! The staff are always very sweet and friendly and in the Christmas spirit! I was able to use the computer room for some work away from work.... The Breakfast was awesome and staff great !!! Will always stay at this property!

This is the best hotel to stay at for a sports weekend. Hotel has Skywalk to the rink, the breakfast was super, the breakfast room spacious & well organized. The Servus sports centre attached to hotel was a great facility the rink food was good. We were within walking distant of dining liquor & coffee. What a great location for this BW. The staff were very friendly & helpful an the boys loved the pool & waterslide. I would go back to this hotel for sure and highly recommend it.

We travel multiple times a year for our kids sports and stayed at the Best Western Meridian this month. We typically stay at the “breakfast included” hotels as it is quick and convenient to get the kids fed and off to often early events. The Best Western Meridian is by far the best experience we have had at a hotel when attending events. The staff is amazing, from the front desk, cleaning and kitchen staff. The rooms always have more than enough towels and other amenities and the entire hotel is immaculately clean. They are super helpful, friendly and so nice to our kids (and we have stayed at places who treat our kids very rudely for no reason at all). Everyone in our group was saying that a lot of hotels could learn about customer service from the staff here. In addition, the location is perfect to the Servus Centre as it is connected by a pedway. It is so nice not having to find a parking spot in the frigid winters. We also loved that we could take a break and go back to the room in 5 minutes and not have to lug our winter jackets around. There are two sit down restaurants in the parking lot and also a Tim Horton's. Just a quick note (and they have signs posted in the hotel about this), the hotel is located in Alberta, but is basically on the border (Saskatchewan is just across the street). They follow Alberta time, but your phone will bounce back and forth between Alberta and Sask cell towers. Mine kept switching, so I did a manual set to Alberta time rather than having my phone set time automatically. As soon as we learn of a competition in Lloydminster, we will be booking this hotel again. Keep up the great work and kudos to such an amazing staff.

Clean modern rooms, very comfortable beds, attached to the Servus Centre sports complex via an indoor ped-way. Friendly and accommodating staff, continental breakfast was excellent, they never ran out of anything, they were always replenishing entire breakfast menu. The hotel had many different cheer clubs in attendance and were able to keep the various cheer clubs together. I would definitely recommend this hotel for any parents who travel for sporting events.

We recently stayed here for a hockey tournament and were pleasantly surprised how well set up this hotel is for hockey teams. It's centrally located, many restaurants within walking distance, and most important the hotel was very clean. My only concern was the check in process I experienced. Upon check in I was not informed when and where breakfast was. I knew there was a locker room available for hockey bags but was not told where. As well, there was a walkway from the hotel to the arena (very useful) but again, I was not told where I could access this. It also would have been nice to know where the pool was. The check in clerk was polite (young Philopino girl) but not helpful in letting me know anything about the hotel. I needed to find out all that information from a friend who checked in and was told all the proper information. Breakfast was well run. As soon as something was running low the Breakfast room supervisor was on it, making sure everything was ready for guests. She was very polite and helpful. Other than lack of information from the front desk we had a great stay. I highly recommend this hotel for all types of travel (teams, families etc).

The staff was extremely accommodating and very kind. They helped us check in early so the kids could change after a 6 hour drive and get ready for their hockey game. The attached skywalk allowed us to keep our car parked the whole weekend while we walked back and forth to the attached rink. The 11&12 year olds felt very independent being able to go to and from their games on their own. In addition when we needed space for a group lunch at the same time as checking out because our team made the finals they let us use the breakfast area too. It was great to be able to have a team lunch before the game and a 6 hour drive home. The staff were so kind and extremely accommodating too. It's was the best experience for a hockey parent ever! If you ever have a hockey game or sporting event in Lloydminster this is the place to stay! Or are visiting town it is also a great spot as it is located central to all amenities and only a walk across the street to Saskatchewan! Thank you Best Western Lloydminster!

My daughter's hockey team recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Meridian Hotel for a hockey tournament. I have stayed in many hotels for hockey tournaments over the years but I have to say, by far, this has been my absolute favorite. This hotel seriously caters to hockey teams with the amazing, hot breakfast that is included in your stay, the secure, locked area for hockey equipment (so you don't have to store that smelly bag in your room or vehicle), and the skywalk right from the second floor of the hotel to the Servus Hockey Rink. The latter feature was, by far, my favorite, as we didn't have to venture outside in the cold or travel by car to the team's hockey games. As if all of this wasn't enough, but the staff were extremely friendly and helpful - friendly staff at the front desk for both check-in, check-out and having answers to our questions in between, the breakfast staff - kept things well stocked to feed our team and all the other guests, and the cleaning staff - who would always go out of their way to say hello and good morning in the hallways. The team loved the pool, waterslide and hot tub and some of the adults took advantage of the fitness room. All the amenities were enjoyed. Towels were provided in the pool area and coffee and water were always on hand 24/7. I'm not sure if our ventures will ever take us to Lloydminster again, but if they do, we will for sure be staying here. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay for a night for an extensive stay. It is very close to amenities (Tim Horton's is right across the parking lot) and an amazing Greek restaurant is adjacent to this hotel as well. If I could give this hotel a higher rating than 'Excellent', I would.

Nice Hotel - very cool it's linked to the multi-plex with a skywalk - I'd expect very handy for hockey/lacrosse/etc teams and tournaments. Hotel was clean - Service was good - Had a football team in for the night, so didn't get a chance to enjoy the pool (it was a ZOO with kids) - but I get it, I was the Coach at one point and this stuff happens. Breakfast was over the top excellent - Hot Continental Breakfast including a breakfast meat, eggs, hashbrowns, and as always the Hot Waffle. Combined with the typical continental fair it was very good, well served, and sure helps offset the cost of an overnight in a Hotel. Keep up the good work!

I stay at this hotel for work, without a reservation. Service is always efficient, which is important to me, and staff are always friendly and try to be helpful, without me asking. The location is a bonus for me, it's near my work site and close to coffee shops, in a quiet part of the city.

Always a wonderful stay now if I could only remember my swimsuit. Fabulous breakfast. The crew is awesome and pleasant. The rooms are clean and quiet. What more do you need? We were on business so we needed our beauty sleep and it was fulfilled with nice soft pillows and a firm mattress.

the front desk staff took two separate room deposits and wanted to take a thurd because of their accounting incompetence. They were impolite in explaining the circumstance and they locked us out of our room three times in a two-night stay. The rooms were generally clean but are starting to show wear and tear things like a broken light switches we're very apparent. The bathroom fan sounded like a freight train. There is very little sound deadening between floors or between rooms. If you want a good night sleep, and if you want to avoid discourteous front desk staff, stay elsewhere.

The hotel is in a great location, away from the noisy and busy highway. The staff is very friendly and efficient. We were really impressed with the free breakfast - something for everyone. The beds were very comfortable and we were pleased with the bathroom amenities.

Overall it was great hotel for this business trip. I booked 4 rooms for my team. every room was clean and ready for check in on Tuesday afternoon.

On our way to a wedding and stopped into breakup the trip. from the time i made the reservation on the phone directly with the hotel, to our checkout, we were made to feel welcome and valued. Thank you all. We arrived in the breakfast room not long before it was to close, but items were still well stocked, tasty, and the staff worked hard to make sure we had everything we might need. We were upgraded upon our arrival, (Thanks Best Western Rewards!) and had a very quiet peaceful sleep. When we are back in the area we will certainly stay at the BW Plus Meridian.

The room smelled terrible. For the amount of money paid I would find a different hotel. Not worth the money. Paid $130 a night. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Thought it was a nicer hotel and it turns out it's no better than a cheap motel 6.

This was the second time that we have stayed at the Best Western Plus. Place is very well maintained. Front desk and Breakfast staff do an excellent job. Stayed on the 4th floor. Quiet. Highly recommended place to stay. Beds could be a little firmer.

This was a gem of a hotel. I have stayed at many BW hotels and this was extraordinary! All aspects of my stay were excellent but the best was the sleep that I got in the queen bed. I hate queen beds as they are too short but the comfort of this bed made up for the shortness. I would recommend this hotel to any traveler but especially to the business traveler.

The staff was amazing the room extremely clean. The breakfast soooooo good. I would recommend this place to all. The fitness centre was great good equipment all in all would love to return. When we had an issue with the shower head they came up right away and fixed it that was great.

Everything from the service to the cleanliness to the grade of room, Best Western in Lloydminster is second to none. like most BW's its a fully enjoyable facility. as a weekend day-cationer I like to spontaneously travel to a places just for a couple days at a time. BW provides and usually exceeds my expectations for availability and value. the buffet is a fantastic way to start the day and saves me money by not having to stop somewhere else. meridian met this criteria as well

We were peased with the ladies who handled our phone in reservation and when we checked in. The room was very clean In addition the free breakfast was more than adequate and the staff handling the breakfast was courteous and assisted us as required.

The front desk reception was very friendly. Our room was very spacious and clean. I like that the towels were large enough to only use one at a time. Breakfast was great, too. They had a nice variety of both warm and cold options and everything was well stocked. It was extremely busy in the breakfast room, but the lady that was working was some sort of magician. She filled low products, found tables for families to sit at, and even tended to my daughter when she accidentally burned herself on the waffle maker.

This was a great hotel experience, Our very clean room had a king bed & queen sofa bed, we had an amazing hot complimentary breakfast & were able to go over to the Multiplex facility via covered pedway. The pool, hot tub & water slide were great.for our 8 year old granddaughter. Front desk staff & kitchen staff were so friendly & accommodating. No hassles here!

Fresh cookies for checking in and very comfortable King beds make this a great place to stay. Breakfast in the morning is very good variety from waffles, eggs, omelets, bacon, sausage, yogurts, cereals, fresh fruit, porridge. Perfect and reasonable priced. If I had to say anything is king beds were more comfy than queen beds for but pillows of varying softness made up for it. Great TV reception and channels. Only down side is ice machine was at the far end of the hotel from my room.

I stayed at this hotel while finishing up some business. The hotel staff and the room we're fabulous. The desk in the room was large enough for the laptop. The business centre was virtually empty and worked very well. The bonus was the new casino in the area so we could celebrate the end of our business.

The experience my family had last night was much needed fun and relaxation!!!! The staff was welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean, spacious and beautiful. The time we spent in the pool and hot tub was a wonderful time. Ms. Kerr was professional and so friendly as our pool attendant. Love the BW chain I try to always stay at a best Western. I know they are very consistent on their quality. The wifi is great, and so is the free breakfast. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I usually stay in a hotel for work, but occasionally my wife and I use them when we travel. The reward points add up fast, and never expire, so it's nice to accumulate the points for a free night or more.

A lot more bang for your buck. Great surroundings and lots of local ammenities. If you've been designated driver for your team and you've forgotten that late night aperitif, the local liquor store and sushi restaurant is just across the parking lot.

They signed us up for the rewards program on the first stay! We were very impressed with their continental breakfast! The grandchildren loved the waterslide. The hotel location was in a very convenient location for us.

As a Gold member we were upgraded but suspect the experience for everyone will be the same - great!!The hotel is attached to the town hockey arena for those coming to town for hockey, the exercise room was nicely stocked and the pool looked lovely but I'd forgotten my swimsuit.

The pool and waterslide were great for the kids to burn off some energy Breakfast was excellent, lots of choices and staff member Theresa went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we could want. The property was very clean and well maintained.

Stayed in several hotels in this city however, this hotel is the best. You will be received with very friendly staff, clean facility and everything thing you need if you are away on a business trip.Don't miss breakfast. The variety and staff will make it exceptional experience. Expect to find a greetings from the housekeepers wishing you a nice stay. Excellent job everyone

I definitely recommend this Best Western and will be staying here again in the future. Very clean throughout the hotel, friendly staff, and good hot breakfast (always a must for me). They have a nice sized pool and fitness centre as well. I always choose Best Western hotels over any other branded hotels because I never have a disappointing experience.

This is the first time staying at this property and it was so friendly and clean it was like new. The breakfast was unreal.....and included in the very reasonable room rate. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable.

Looked like a fairly new hotel so our expectations were high. We were not disappointed. Ever since we discovered the concept of complimentary breakfast, we look for this in each overnight stay. The quality of the food provided has gone year by year. This hotel set a new standard for us. They had plastic utensils and paper plates. If you preferred a china plate and stainless steel hardware, it was there. Paper cups for coffee, but if you wanted a mug, it was available. I noted five hot items ranging from delightful small slices of potato nicely done to a wonderful breakfast wrap. Four cold cereals and a fresh pot of hot porridge. Lots of extras - even cheese! Two attendants were floating around, making suggestions and keeping things fully stocked and nice and tidy. They set the bar very high. One nitpick. My wife did not like all the attention, much like she does not like someone looking over her shoulder when she shops. Different strokes for different folks. Overall a good experience. One last nitpick. We parked in front facing west, with our vehicle in the last spot to the left. When we came out in the morning we found pigeons on the roof had completely splattered the side of the car. Maybe they should get rid of the birds or close that parking spot.

From the General Manager to the breakfast waiter the staff are friendly, kind and welcoming. I travel extensively and have a lot of experience with all brands of hotels. I would rank this a 5 star without question. You will appreciate the amenities, condition and large breakfast. The hotel is off the main drag (highway 16) which makes it quieter than all the other. Exceptional customer service! Without hesitation it will be my hotel of choice in the border city.

My elderly parents (77 & 80 years old) hit a deer and wrote off their van just outside of Maidstone, SK, while travelling to Ontario. Not knowing where to go or what to do, I phoned and booked them a room at the Best Western Hotel in Lloydminster and the tow truck driver drove them and towed the wrecked car back to Lloydminster. When I called to let the hotel know they were coming, my parents were literally just pulling into the parking lot. Myrna, the receptionist at the front desk said she saw them and went out to greet my distraught parents and she even helped show the driver where they could park and then she helped them with their luggage and made them coffee!!! This service was above and beyond anything our families have ever experienced. Thank you, Myrna, so much, for your amazing compassion. I would love to shake the hand of whomever had the foresight to hire someone of that calibre. I can not recommend this hotel highly enough. My sisters and I drove from Barrhead, AB and Edmonton to meet my parents and we all stayed overnight before tackling the task of arranging for a new vehicle so they could continue their holiday. The morning staff, especially the young man working in the breakfast area, were all so friendly and caring. In fact, when I went to tip the young man after breakfast, he refused it, saying, "Oh thank you so much, but someone in your party has already tipped me." - what honesty!!! Who else has that much integrity these days? If you are stopping in Lloydminster go straight to the Best Western Meridian Hotel.

We had not made an advance reservation, but when we walked in, the staff were super to deal with and we felt we were dealing with good old friends. We checked in easily and got comfortably situated in a quiet, easily accessible ground floor room. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Coffee was available in the foyer at any time of the day. The salt water pool was refreshing and relaxing. Breakfast was much better than many chain hotels, in our experience. Lots of variety of hot items that tasted like real food. The breakfast staff was quite helpful in just the right way. The overall experience at this hotel was exceptional. When we were travelling back through the area a week later, although there are a lot of hotels to choose from in this city, we purposely stopped earlier in the day than normal because we were impressed with our experience the first time. Well done, Best Western...you really lived up to the Plus in your brand!

Very impressed with the hotel. Staff was friendly,hotel clean, close to restaurants. I would recommend this hotel to my friends. Hotel was busy because of provincial ball tournament. You would not have noticed as very beautifully run. Hotel off main drag. In a newer area.

We had a pleasant stay! Good breakfast. Pleasant staff. Close to a good restaurant. Hotel was very clean. The rooms have good beds and a decent TV. The breakfast area is roomy and well laid out. The Wi-Fi was reliable!

Stayed here 2 nights and had a great time. They have a pool and water slide which was refreshing to us not just the kids. Breakfast buffet was extensive with a selection that all would like. Staff friendly and parking easy. It is at the south east end of town but easy to get to off the highway or back road.

Rooms a large and well furnished at this motel. Price is reasonable and great places to eat with a couple of minute walk. It is very quiet. The Spiros restaurant is a great place to eat. There is a Tim Hortons less than 5 minute walk and a Chinese food restaurant less than 1 minute. As well there is a small liquor store 1 minute away. I will always stay at this motel when I am in Lloydminster.

I stayed at the BW in Lloydminster. Check in was quick, easy and friendly, as I had made a reservation online. I was given an upgrade at no additional cost, nice touch. Room was ready, clean and everything worked. The property appears to be relatively new. The breakfast itself is far better than what you get at other places, a good choice for all tastes and a large breakfast room. Staff was readily available, if need be. Overall good value for your hard earned dollars and I will return again, should the need arise.

AN excellent business traveler's hotel. The staff is excellent and the rooms are well appointed. It is convenient to major transportation arteries and close to several restaurants. I use this hotel almost weekly and have never had any issues or complaints.l

Amazing staff and the fourth floor suites are lovely. The property staff are well trained and helpful. Breakfast staff were very helpful and the spread included anything I might have wanted for breakfast. We will stay again

Offered top floor suite upgrade from regular room rate for three nights of our stay, which included king bed, jet tub, steam shower, living room with electric fireplace, and kitchen. Nice pool to swim some lengths, very good breakfast selection, courteous and caring staff. Our preferred place to stay in Lloydminster.

I am a diamond select member because I travel frequently and my hotel of choice has always been the Best Western chain because of it's terrific reputation and past experiences. I arrived at this hotel at 2:20 am. I wheeled my luggage into the lobby to find out the second set of doors was locked (for staff safety). No problem, there was a phone to phone the front reception. I let it ring over 10 minutes.. no answer. So, I wheeled my luggage back to my vehicle and called the 1-800 Best Western number hoping that I wouldn't have to find another hotel or worse.. sleep in my car. I spoke with Christine. She pur me on hold and called the hotel. It took her several minutes to contact someone and I managed to get into my hotel just before 3:00 am. The next morning I was awoken by housekeeping at 7:12 am, and my key didn't work when I came back to my room. Despite the issues with my booking, my expectations were met.. the room was clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the breakfast staff member was polite and breakfast had many options. I brought my issues to the attention of staff and management and not even a call, only a followup email. Customer service is of utmost importance to me, but it certainly wasn't met by management.

Hotel seems fairly new and was very clean. The bathroom in our room was very clean. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and even after we had checked out, were very helpful and friendly!

A coworker and I were traveling into Alberta for a weeks work, and this was night # 1 of our trip. When getting to the hotel there was a small lineup of guests waiting to check in, and there were 2 workers at the desk. The speed and efficiency in which the two agents worked was remarkable and we were at the front of the line in no time. When it was time to check in I was greeted in a friendly and professional manner, and was thanked for being a repeat visitor. As a person who spent around 75 nights in hotels last year, it is so nice when someone makes you feel like your business is appreciated. I was both surprised and appreciative of being upgraded for the night into a suite that was huge. The room I was given had a living area and a king bed room separate of one another. The internet worked great, and there was no problems in finding playoff hockey in HD on the TV's. When it was time to settle in for the night, the bed was very comfortable, and I had a terrific sleep. The next morning the breakfast room was fairly full, and it wasn't hard to understand why, as the breakfast was great. Everything was in good supply and the choices were well prepared and tasty. I want to say thank you to the staff here for making my time away from home easy and comfortable. I'm not in Lloydminster often, but when I am, I know that I don't need to look hard to find a hotel that will be welcoming and has people working who care about the quality of my stay.

Very nice decor. the staff were all very friendly and helpful. the room was very clean and the bed was hard to get out of because of the comfort. any amenities i had forgot to bring were replaced . i will definitely stay there again.

Very nice hotel with extremely polite and helpful staff. Breakfast staff lady helped a family with 3 small children to get organized and settled. Everyone had big smiles and rooms were very descent. Hotel water is very soft and silky.

People opened doors. Everyone smiled and made eye contact. I felt like royalty. John, the little cutie even made me a waffle with a heart on it. I mentioned how long I was driving for and maybe needed a hot bath. They made me a gift basket with salts and extra love. I've never been treated so wonderful by EVERYONE. Absolutely 10 out of 10. Thank you!

This is a great place to stay and has the best breakfast in Lloydminster. It woks great for business and the pool and fitness centre are great as well. The coffee and lemon water is a great touch and the staff are always friendly. I look forward to coming back again.

Huge family crowds with kids staying over the week-end, due to proximity to hockey arena. Loud noise, partying, screaming, running, all night. Lots of people stay there for work and they are paying for a good night's sleep. For a couple of nights in a row, there was loud partying, with doors open, kids running and screaming on the halls until 4 AM. I understand there were events going on in town and the hotel was full of families that can't keep their children in check, but the rest of us paid the same for a good sleep to be able to go to work early in the morning.

Fantastic hotel. Clean rooms with awesome beds and pillows. Breakfast was okay. Good selection but found the hot foods were lukewarm. Pool and water slide were clean and lots of fun. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

I am on the road for work every week of the year but Christmas and I stay at hotels 75 nights of the year. This Best Western in Lloyminster is one the best places and I look forward to coming back every visit. The rooms are excellent, the service is second to none and the breakfast the most recent trip was incredible. I workout every trip and the hotel gym is fantastic and there is also a gym/rec center attached to the hotel if looking for a bigger gym. Easy choice to stay here!!!

Everything was great about our stay! Staff was nice, everything was clean and the breakfast was good too!! The woman working in the Breakfast area was particularly nicr and friendly. Would highly recommend.

We just finished our two day stay at the Best Western Plus and I want to say that we are simply amazed.... amazed by the excellent customer service we experienced and I want to specifically mention Myrna at the front desk. Myrna was able to help us with a situation, and she turned a stressful stay into the most pleasant hotel experience we have ever had. I really hope the Best Western knows and appreciates the value that Myrna brings to their hotel as we will definitely be staying there again and it is honestly all thanks to her :) Myrna if you are reading this, from one mother to another , THANK YOU for understanding the importance of a good quiet sleep for my toddler, you showed compassion and empathy for our situation, and we truly appreciated how you took our complaint and immediately fixed it. We were in Lloydminster for Sask Cup Volleyball Tournament and were able to get a suite. We booked the Rendell Suite room 214 which had a King bed in a separate room and a pullout sofa in the living room. A tv in the living room and bedroom. A small kitchenette which was great as we could come back and make a snack and relax between games. The bed was really comfy. The bonus was that we could just go across to the attached Servus multiplex without stepping foot outside. The only downside as there was a lot of traffic back and forth through the skywalk the adjoining door slammed shut and made quite a racket in the room. We could not here it in the bedroom as bad but in the living room it shook the whole wall. This wouldn't be a big issue if there were no big events happening at the Servus Center. The hot free breakfast was excellent and the kitchen staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. The rest of the hotel staff were also very accommodating and excellent to deal with! Overall we would definately stay here again!

This hotel is connected to the rink by a walkway - amazing convenience for anyone doing activities there - worth some other inconveniences Reasonable breakfast, but ran out of hot water last time we stayed Found front desk staff particularly unfriendly - not common for this type of hotel used to the opposite Late checkout - an impossibility

My family and I usually stay at Best Westerns in both the USA and Canada, and we love them. But this Best Western Plus in Llydminster, AB rocks! The room is so clean, the check in was so easy and genuine and every team member has been so gracious,polite and respectful. I am so grateful for them allowing us a late checkout and informing us of the performing of a fire alarm test so that we didn't leave the room when we didn't have to. Superb service. Both individually and as a team these people are wonderful.

Stayed with family at Best Western Plus Meridian. The room was surprisingly large, the bed was very comfortable as were the pillows; the comforter was light but warm. The quiet was another surprising feature. Even though there was a hockey tournament in town and players around the room was very quiet.Another feature we really appreciated was that there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. But be sure to make a reservation for the Greek restaurant next door - Very popular place!

Went their for a hockey tournament hotel offered a storage room for all the kids gear- didn't need it as the rink supplied one. Staff were friendly and hotel was clean. Kids loved the swimming pool, parents loved how close the rink and Tim Hortons was ??. Would stay again.

An exceptional experience with comfortable beds, pillows, and pool services. Everything was clean, everyone was friendly and professional and the skywalk to the arena was amazing. We stayed for a hockey tournament and the convenience of the arena was excellent.

The hotel provides clean, good sized rooms with a bar fridge and coffee maker, comfortable bed and good size TV. The room was bright and sunny during the day however was dim in the evening due to the lack of good lighting ooptions. Breakfast items were varied and reasonable and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We learned that the hotel is connected to the arena and that a hockey tournament was taking place at the time of our stay. The hotel was thus very busy, especially during breakfast hours. Ample parking and several restaurants within walking distance made it a very convenient location and pleasant stay.

From check in providing me a cord for car plug in -45c, to the friendly staff at the breakfast buffet, this hotel is always top flight. If you are going to Lloydminster this is a great place to stay, yes there are choices but this place is stable and proven, great service.

Overall experience was good. Included breakfast was of decent quality but the service from the breakfast staff (1 person) was excellent. The overall quality of the room was fine and the cleanliness was good.

Was a nice quiet hotel off the main drag. Loved the extras offered at breakfast (cheese/salsa for eggs, etc). Only complaint would be too much chlorine in the hot tub, gave my kids a coughing fit. Will stay again.

This hotel is enroute to see our grandkids and this was our second time staying here. We often stay at Best Western to take advantage of the rewards and our last stay was free. We're definitely coming back because the staff our great. We were upgraded last time without asking. The price is decent and I really appreciate the breakfast. Going to book for the trip home.

Were not given the room we reserved and were not offered accommodations to compensate their mistake. Had to purchase an air mattress because no cots were available. Staff did contact us to offer a cot after we purchased an air mattress but it would have cost us double the amount so not worth it after we had already gone out of our way to fix the problem ourselves

The Best Western Plus Meridian is a very lovely hotel. All of the staff are fantastic, the breakfast bar give you several options and the rooms are nice. The beds are very comfortable. Will definitely stay again.

Extremely noisy on the weekend. Noisy party of more than 10 people in the next room, drinking in common areas past midnight. Kids playing hockey in common areas and banging on doors. Quite time is supposed to be after 11 p.m. Security did nothing to stop it after I complained few times after 11:30 p.m.

This was a short stay as we got there late and left right after breakfast. It is a beautiful well kept hotel. Looks quite new. We had a king bed which was very comfortable and awesome pillows! The breakfast has a wide variety of food and a large seating area. I will stay here again!

I had a dream that I came to the Canadian Border town to see the wall being built but then remembered that was happening down south.. Next thing I recall was racing down the water slide jumping onto my moose which was my ride.. Anyways my stay was amazing and the sleep was great too.. Haven't had a dream like that for ages.. must be the comfortable bed :)

Excellent Staff, accommodations and breakfast at this Hotel! I recently stayed here for work and found it to be a great place to stay. The Staff were very helpful and made the Check In/Out process easy. The rooms were very good with a warm bed. The breakfast here is awesome with lots of choices- they go above and beyond the norm for the breakfast in my opinion.

Stayed here on business for 2 nights. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was hot and very good. The breakfast staff were accommodating with above average hot choices and continental. Check in was a bit hectic but all requests were taken care of and with a smile! Employees were helpful and professional. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel did an amazing job accommodating our Hockey Team. Friendly staff, beautiful rooms, and very clean. The hotel is also attached to the Arena! Great feature! Amenities (Tim Hortons, Second Cup, Liquor Store) close to the hotel as well. For the “sort of trip” question below....there wasn't a team booking choice. We had 23 on the team.

Great stay, clean rooms and accommodating staff for our large group. Check in was fast and easy for our 30 person group. Would recommend this hotel and friendly staff. Location is great and connected to the sports arena. An indoor walkway leading right to the rink was such a bonus!

We've stayed at this hotel both times we were in Lloydminster. The rooms are clean and modern, the staff is exceptional, kids liked the pool and waterside, I liked the gym and the hot breakfast was great.

We stopped at this hotel to break up a long road trip. It was a wonderful property! Rooms were clean, modern and very functional! Great kid-friendly pool with waterslide. And a great complimentary breakfast with a wide range of hot and cold options with a fresh waffle bar. Special thanks to Suzanne in the breakfast room who was a terrific host and great with the kids. Definitely will stay here again when in Lloyd.

Wonderful hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. Room is clean, large and comfortable. I asked for no chemical cleaners and they provided a room free of that. I'd definitely stay here again.

We traveled from Calgary to Lloydminster on business. The staff was incredibly courteous right from the beginning of our stay until the time we checked out. For a continental breakfast, it had lots of unique and delicious items that started our day perfect. We had a hot tub before bed it the huge pool area with slide and fitness center. Another great stay at a Best Western!

I have stayed at pretty much all of the hotels in Lloyd and this is one of the best. It is usually priced a little higher than the other"good" ones, but I got a good rate so stayed here. The checkin and service was great throughout, especially in the breakfast room. The lady was very attentive and cleaned things quickly, greeting regulars by name. The room was not huge, but very comfortable and well appointed. A nice little pool area and an ok gym as well.

We loved this hotel! Coming back from a couples get away we decided to stay at this hotel. We got the Jacuzzi suite which was enormous! It was clean and smelled new. The staff at the front desk was extremely friendly and helped us with any questions we had. The hotel is perfect for any traveller. Business or pleasure, it's a perfect fit. The hotel is connected to the sportplex in Lloydminster and makes it a quick run for any team. The morning breakfast was excellent. You have choices between sausage and eggs to waffles to cereal to whatever and all complimentary! It was perfect! Thank you Best Western for a comfortable stay! We will definitely stay again!

Although this hotel is out of the way...it is a great hotel for families. It is worth that extra drive off the main highway. Many great food stores in the area. I love clean hotels and this hotel was very clean, I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Lloydminster.

This BW was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful , the hotel was immaculate with a complete range of amenities . Breakfast was served from 6am until 10am giving you a wide range of times. The food was very good , again with a wide choice range. The food was hot and well prepare .You can't go wrong staying here.

Spent a Monday to Friday with a few associates on business and back here to what was previously the West Harvest Express. The rooms are adequate, clean with good linen. The pool is finally finished. It was only a year late. The staff is friendly, especially the breakfast lady and the breakfast better than the other Lloydminster hotels most of which I have tried. It is a ways off the main road but worth the drive. They have lately been more competitive with their rates. Their fitness room is now complete although that means they no longer offer a free pass to the great recreation center connected to the rear of the hotel.

I like staying at Best Western as I get what I expect. The price is good and the amenities meet my needs. This hotel is fairly new and was in a great location for my business meetings. There was a nice selection for breakfast and the staff were very friendly.

Overall, a great hotel. Staff were amazing. Continental breakfast was what you would expect. Average. But I did enjoy the baked/fried ham instead of bacon. A little lighter on my heart. Good selection of juices as well. Service staff were on the ball during breakfast as there were 2 people. The room? Quite nice actually. Modern decor and a cozy feel. I just wish I had more time to enjoy it. Wifi, decent speed, but monitored for bandwidth abuse. I was in town to DJ and provide photobooth services for a wedding, so I honestly didn't spend a lot of time in the room. Well stocked with towels and the usual soaps and things. Clean room. Will recommend this hotel to others.

New hotel, very clean, super friendly staff, better than your average continental breakfast. Located on the south end of town right off hwy 17. Tim Horton's in the next lot. Easy access to hwy 16 and other amenities. Connected via sky walk to the new Servus Sports Center as well for sports events.

This is one of the better Best Westerns in Western Canada. It is conveniently located for easy access and the rooms are clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet is very good, good range of choices and I have never had a problem with items being in short supply or poor quality. I try and organize my trips to stay here if I am in the area at all even if I travel a few extra Klicks to do so.

We were in Lloydminster for a family anniversary and stayed at the Best Western. All of the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and genuine. The morning breakfast crew were above and beyond helpful - greeting everyone to enjoy their day! Rooms were clean and large - we had a double queen room. Its great value and great service!

We came to Lloyd for a wedding and this was a great base camp. We got one of the two bedroom suites and it was great. We brought a pack n play and our 3 kids shared one room, we had another and we still had a living room and dining room to use when family came by to socialize. The kids loved the pool and water slides. Breakfast was awesome both mornings. Waffles/Eggs/Meat in the hot area, cereal, bread, muffins, pastry, fruit, yogurt in the cold. The staff in the breakfast area was top notch and on top of everything. Also in the parking lot were a couple restaurants, Tims and a few other shops so you were covered easily for the weekend. If we end up in Lloyd again we'd be sure to stay at this Best Western.

The staff were friendly and helpful at checkin/checkout time. There is a built in pool and water slide where some info we had said there was not. The hotel is joined to a large sports complex by a inclosed walkway. The breakfast had many hot and cold items.

A wonderful place to get away, or spend time with family. The pool was fun & the hot tub was HOT. The breakfast was filling, the parking lot had a lot of spaces. There were coffee shops & restaurants nearby, that could easily be accessed on foot.

the staff are incredible, very nice and helpful. The breakfast staff were by far the best part of this hotel. the cleaning staff do a great job and they seamed to make the room on your time not theirs. its very thing that you expect for your money and just friendly people to add value.

Great hotel with restaurant, Tim hortons and liquor store in its parking lot. Great for families, good size rooms and nice size bathrooms with a mini kitchenette. Skateboarding park just behind the building. Pool and hot tub available till 10pm.

This hotel was quieter than others we stayed at in Lloydminster as it was off the main drag. There were many restaurants close by to walk to making it very convenient. The hotel property was immaculate, rooms were spacious, staff were outstanding, the pool and waterslide were great for the kids although the hot tub was closed for repairs which was kind of disappointing. The breakfast was delicious and offered a lot of variety and staff were very attentive at the breakfast area. Overall this hotel was amazing, and felt like a much needed night of luxury after camping for several days!! This is the place to stay when in Lloydminster!!

My granddaughter (aged 5) and I spent one night at this hotel as our jumping-off place for a country fair in a nearby community. We were delighted with our room and the welcome we received, with the indoor pool and waterslide, with the breakfast options, and, on my part, with the price! Would stay here again!

We came up for a wedding and loved the hotel's location, amenities and staff. I liked the prepaid option that gave a better rate! It is clean, good bed, nice breakfast and friendly staff. I love the fresh cookies, cucumber water and coffee option all day long

Any time we go to Lloyd - we stay at the Best Western. The atmosphere is amazing. The rooms are excellent (beds are to die for). Breakfast is included - great selection from eggs to waffles, fruit, juice, coffee. We will always stay at the Best Western while in Lloyd.

Great place to stay. Loved the room had a bathtub as these days so many just have a shower. The queens beds were very comfortable and each had 4 pillows on them. No noise at all, very quiet. The breakfast was more than we expected with a great variety of choices including gluten free items. The lady who hosted that area was very accommodating and cheerful. Not something we are used to in other hotels. Our stay was very pleasant, comfortable and problem free. We will definitely stay here the next time we pass through this area.

My first stay in this fairly new hotel. Everyone from front desk to Breakfast to maids did an exceptional job. Rooms were clean and comfortable and staff was very friendly and very helpful. Prices were very reasonable.

Location is great. Free breakfast included. Lots of outdoor parking with plug-ins for block heater. Small business centre in lobby. Fitness centre and free internet. Service: This is the "spectacular" part... Front desk team of Jasmine and Gemma bent over backwards to make sure I found the perfect room and bed... thanks for being the best of the best of the hotel-world. Rooms: comfy, good amenities. AC works well and not noisy. Can't hear neighbours. I'd definitely stay here again.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and a comfortable bed. Pillows of different size and fill type you can pick and choose rather than suffer. Blackout curtains and a bathroom with an actual working fan!!!! You can actually set the AC, too! Great breakfast, and chipper, helpful staff that go out of their way to help you.

Staying here was the best decision we made! Service was great, facility was awesome, breakfast was awesome! We requested extra towels and pillows and they arrived in no time. This is where we will stay next time. Terrific luxury for a good price.

I have now stayed at this location twice and both times were excellent. The ladies at the free breakfast are friendly and engaging. Lots of great choices for a free breakfast with a daily variety. The rooms are clean and the mattresses very comfortable. The pillows are full size and of a very good quality. When staying in Lloydminster this property is my first choice.

If you need gluten free options due to allergy, this is the place to come. Just let them know, they will ensure you have a great breakfast and lots of choices to choose a healthy meal. Great place to stay!

I've stayed at a lot of Best Westerns for work and pleasure. This is hands down the BEST one I've stayed at. The prices were quite reasonable, the hotel has been kept up nicely, the staff were friendly and welcoming and OMG the breakfast is the best I've ever experienced at a hotel. Wish my travels would bring me to Lloydminster more often.

Nice hotel staff, room however was not like advertised and was greeted with a small double bed not a queen or king like advertised. For the price of $110/night this hotel was NOT worth the price for the experience

We found the hotel to be everything we wanted. We were at a volleyball tournament for our daughter and the hotel has a skywalk over to a recreation centre that includes hockey soccer volleyball as wellas many other features. The hotel staff was extremely good to our kids and to us. Even though sold out everything was neat and clean and the breakfast never ran out of food. It actually ran a little longer than usual and some of our kids had breakfast before their first games and came back for another snack and they were welcomed in. Thank you very much we will stay here whenever we are in Lloyd

A beautifully updated facility. The quality and variety of the continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise. I did find the pillows somewhat large for sleeping. This is by far the most comfortable location in Lloydminster in which I have spent an overnight.

This is our go to Hotel in Lloyd. Friendly staff, breakfast options are great, the lemon water and homemade gooey cookies are good. Place is clean, attached to the arena's is the best and the area they have for hockey equipment so your room doesn't stink is the best...

This was our second time staying at the Best Western Plus Meridian Hotel. I would highly recommend it to any traveler. Our room was very spacious and clean, the beds are very comfortable and the bathroom feels so luxurious with the lovely large shower. Breakfast was delicious with so many options for the whole family including great gluten free option. We will most definitely stay here the next time we are in Lloydminster.

Staff at this location go out of their way to make sure things are right. The room, bed, condition of the hotel are excellent. Breakfast was great and there's lots of parking. The hotel is attached to the Recreation Centre. I have stayed here before and will stay here again.

We stayed in a suite, the rooms was just like an luxury apartment, very large, clean and I loved the fireplace. I had a great time relaxing in the pool. The work out room is big and clean and the business centre was comfortable to work in! I would l stay here again! Highly recommend!

Only problem....my relatives were not able to leave me a message when I was away from hotel. My relatives knew our room number ....when my relatives called to leave me a message when I was out; staff did not take a message; even though my room number was known. They told my relatives to 'call back' again. When I came back to my hotel and checked for messages with front desk...front desk did not know if I had any messages. My relatives informed me later, what front desk said to them and how my relatives were not able to leave a message. Luckily, I contacted relatives myself and we reconnected. Other than that mishap...overall stay was very good.

Quiet, clean with an awesome breakky. everyone was very helpful and very polite, i would recommend this hotel to any of my friends & family, all of our kids also had a great time in the pool as well as using the gym, it was a great stay and i cant wait to go back!

My husband and I stayed here on our way to Edmonton. The first impression we had was very nice and only got better from there on in. The front desk staff were friendly and happy. After a very long drive and no lunch, I was very happy to see coffee, water and cookies/turnovers in the lobby. Got to our room and was very impressed that it was modern and up to date, it even smelled like the leather couch instead of stale dirty air. One of the cleanest rooms we have ever stayed in. There was plenty of space, and to our amazement, the TV was actually mounted to the wall, allowing us to actually see it over our feet while laying in bed. The bed and pillows were better than my own, had an excellent sleep. The breakfast was outstanding.....we were greeted by the kitchen lady who explained everything that was on the menu, encouraged us to try everything and very accommodating and welcoming. There was plenty of selection and the food was always hot. We didn't try the pool, but I am sure that would have been good as well. Since staying there, we will not stay anywhere else when we pass through in the future.

The staff is very friendly! The rooms are clean, and the breakfast is always hot! The appearance of the hotel is very nice and new. Beds are comfortable and the hide a bed was good for our son. Enjoy spending time here visiting our granddaughters

We were passing through Lloyd and stayed at this hotel overnight. The service was fabulous and the entire facility was extremely attractive and very clean. They have a nice pool with waterslide for the kids and an excellent free breakfast.

Great location and away from main highway, beware that it is attached to the local hockey rink...if your attending during events it can be a little crazy. We noticed for some reason the rate doubled! During a weekday vs weekend stay

Honestly, everything here is awesome. Great staff. Exceptional room. Had a Queen Suite. Great price. My only complaint would be breakfast, if you are Vegan/Vegetarian. 2-pieces of fruit. If you are a regular person, you'll love their spread.

I've been here for a week. The staff is really friendly. The ladies working the breakfast room say good morning everyday. Doesn't sound forced either lol. The housekeeping also greet you in the morning when you leave your room. The breakfast is good, quite afew hot items to choose from. Not much noise from the hall, and I stayed by the elevator ! I will be staying here again and I can easily recommend that you do also.

I have stayed here on and off for work for the past couple months. The rooms are clean and well maintained, and the staff is wonderful. The reception desk is by the front door so they can see who comes in and out and always greet you and make you feel welcome. Gemma and the front desk staff are kind and responsive; Theresa makes a mean breakfast every day and is always happy, helpful and seems genuinely happy to have customers. They all remember the guest preferences and live a commitment to service that is refreshing. The rooms have microwaves and fridges, which is nice as the hotel doesn't have room service.Rooms are quiet and very clean. Restaurant across from the hotel and a couple coffee shops within walking distance make this a good location. Nice hotel and great staff -- would consider coming back if I'm in the area for pleasure or business....after two+ months, I will miss seeing them every day!

I consider this Best western as one of the best I have stayed in. In my travels I have stayed in hundreds of hotels. To start with, the front desk staff is professional in appearance and ih handling registration. The rooms are nice. Beds are comfortable. (But I never understand why the hotels give you lots of pillows. We all only have one head!) The breakfast was hot and lots of varieties, and conscious of people's special needs. A Good place to stay for single travelers and for families.

This was the best hotel stay we have ever had anywhere. Everything was top notch quality, service and products. The hotel is quite new and very well staffed. All staff provided excellent service. Location of the hotel is at south end of the city which is a little out of the way but still only a few kilometers from main shopping and restaurant area.

Best Western Meridian is located towards the southern end of Lloydminster on the Alberta side of the border. It offers a good location if you are attending a function at the arena, and has an excellent restaurant (Spiro's) located on the property.

My husband and I stayed for one night in this delightful hotel...from the moment we arrived, we were impressed...the staff are all fabulous...particularly the breakfast room staff. The room was amazing.....so relaxing with plenty of comfortable seating, great lighting, two tv's and a welcoming plush bed and pillows. The room was extremely clean with everything you would need. The free breakfast was delicious and staff so attentive. I could continue...but do yourself a favour and stay at this hotel...you will be impressed. We will definitely return!!!!

The initial contact to make the reservation was extremely pleasant and that feeling continued at check in. The breakfast room was managed by two of the most pleasant, caring staff who both made our meal enjoyable. The beds and pillows are just the best and the rewards program makes the cost of our stays very reasonable. We will be in Lloydminster many times over the winter and we hope the Best Western Plus Meridian has room for us to stay with them.

This Best Western hotel offers a reasonable value with good service, clean facilities and a good hearty breakfast. The location is a bit off the beaten track, but is easy and worth the extra to find. Because it is kind of out of the way, the hotel offers a quiet and restful sleep.

I give the hotel an 8 out of ten but they have one employee that is a 12 out of ten and she does your breakfast. I promise you will leave there with a smile on your face after talking with her. The other employees were a 10 also as they made you feel welcome

This BW is converted from a Harvest West Inn, and the set up is a little different from the normal BW hotels. Things are a little congested. But they have excellent staff who are efficient and paid attention to details.

This was the best hotel on our 2 week trip. New and excellent value for the money. Although not on the main drag of Lloyd, it is definitely worth booking here. Great breakfast, good service. Very close to some very good eating places. Highly recommended.

In a newer part of Lloydminster. Adequate well lit parking, close to a Second Cup. Courteous and friendly staff. Clean room and comfortable beds. Only complaint was carpeting that needed to be cleaned on main floor hallway.

Had a fantastic stay. thinking ahead to potential hockey tournaments this would be a lovely spot to stay as it is attached to the beautiful new rink and gym facility. Breakfast was amazing with hot food and a super friendly host. There are two adjacent restaurants for dinner dining. The Pizza at the greek restaurant was amazing and prices were excellent as well. The management keeps tight pool/waterslide rules to keep things safe and clean. Rooms were very spacious.

I recently stayed 2 nights for business. Check-in was a breeze with fabulous staff! When I got to my floor and saw my room was right across the hall from the elevator, my first thought was, "Oh, no!". I never needed to worry, though. The hotel is so quiet, it was as though I was the only guest there. Clean room, friendly and helpful staff, quiet - it doesn't get much better than that!

We stayed here for one night on a road trip to Saskatchewan. Let me start by saying the front desk staff were very friendly both at check in, check out and basically anytime you walked by. Our room was clean and comfortable, good size bathroom with a great shower. Our family enjoyed the pool and waterslide and I liked that there was an elevator close to the pool entrance so you didn't need to walk through the lobby after leaving the pool. This hotel offers a great price for a night that includes a pretty good breakfast with various items to choose from including both hot and cold choices, even crepes!!! Also the location is good with lots of restaurants and amenities close by.

I was sick when I checked in and the staff took very good care of me and went out of their way to provide me with fantastic service. We stayed here with 2 adults and 2 pre-schoolers. The room was excellent - very clean and well appointed. The pool area was nice, though both the flooring around the pool and in the pool is very slippery. 2 of us slipped on the pool deck and on the stairs in the pool. The slide is fun but very fast. The breakfast in the morning was very good and the staff monitoring the room were very friendly and efficient. Would stay here again.

The hotel is exceptionally clean, the bed and linens very comfortable, and air conditioning works great. There is currently some construction going on outside the hotel on the street but the room was still surprisingly quiet. The WiFi works incredibly well and is free as is parking. The hotel is a bit off the main part of town but if you are looking for a quiet stay that can be a plus.

There was lost of room to park my training trailer. It is joined on to the arena and ice rink. The rooms were very nice with lots of room. Breakfast was great with lots of choices. We are looking forward to going back in a couple of weeks. Would recommend you staying there.

As a traveling Salesman staying in Hotels more often than in my own home I have seen it all, there is many hotels that are striving for excellence, however this location has been outstanding! The manager Mary was a delight to deal with, she is focused on business and has not shied to go above and beyond to make my stay truly an experience only comparable to being at home! I recently stayed at the Best Western in Lloydminster for 11 days while there on business. The hotel was overall quiet, though the rooms on the back hear the fans from the adjacent Servus Centre which is attached by a walk way to the back of the hotel. The fitness room was clean and bright, the breakfast was very pleasant the the breakfast lady Theresa is a wonderful ambassador for the hotel. Overall, a good place to stay !

Very friendly staff. Check in was easy. Good breakfast , a number of hot food items that were very fresh. Breakfast staff were very helpful. Beds were comfortable. I would stay again if in the area. Should post directions on 12 St. east from 75 Ave. Way faster than going through town.

I was a bit nervous that we were going to end up in some fleebag hotel, as I was not involved with the planning of this trip. However the Best Western Meridian was nice, new, and clean. It has a pool with a waterslide, as well as a hot tub and fitness centre. Breakfast was complementary and consisted of pancakes, sausages, eggs (the fake kind...not good), assortment of pastries and muffins, cereal, juices...etc. There is a liquor store and cigar shop in the same parking lot, and there are many restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. I would consider this to be one of the nicer, if not nicest hotel in Lloyd, and would definitely recommend.

We were up for a girls ball tournament and picked this hotel as it had enough rooms available for all of us, it had a pool and free breakfast. Girls loved the pool and the rooms were comfortable with the exception of the first night which was very hot and the AC was very noisy. Breakfast was very well stocked and once we got the room temp to an acceptable level all was well! WOuld certainly stay here again.

This is a very nice Hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. The employees are very friendly. They also have a very nice hot Breakfast that is included. I stayed a couple of nights for work and I would definitely be back.

Over 83000 people evacuated the fires that turned neighbour hoods into complete ashes. Rescue workers were also effected by loosing parked personal cars while using rescue units. The hotel offers a special rate for those who were impacted by the displacement. I was effected myself and so thankful this location had rooms available. The hot tub and pool and friendly staff, made a difference in my life and can never forget. Thank you guys for all your compassion and caring hearts.

I always stay on the 'secure' floor. I feel safe and very comfortable here. It's moments away from my office and very close to restaurants and Tim Hortons (important to me). They have always offered clean rooms and quite modern. The breakfast every morning is very good and the server is friendly and welcoming as is all of the staff. It's also attached to the recreation centre where you can work out and really not skip a beat in your healthy routine. I've stayed here since 2011 (it was another name until 2014 I believe) and had to stay at another hotel 1 time as this one had no vacancy. As soon as I could get back to this one, I moved over. Again, travelling as much as I do, this is my top pick for Lloydminster.

I stayed three nighta at this faciity recently and it was an excellent stay. This facility seems a little off the beaten path but it is actually located so that it is easy to get to major highways and other parts of the city. The room that I had in this hotel had an extra light near the desk work area which was really appreciated. It helped light up the desk and made work a little easier. The bed was very comfortable and there was very little light in the room at night and early morning. There is a nice restuarant in the same parking lot that has excellent food. There is a liquor store there as well as a coffe shop and a smoke shop. There is also lots of other fast food restuarants and shopping a short distance away. All-in-all a great place to stay.

The Room was nice but a little bit odd. The room I stayed in had a living room section and bedroom section with a wall in between dividing the space in half. No door but a wall right down the middle of the room. It just made no sense and made the room seem much smaller than it actually was. It also had 2 T.V.s. One for the living room side and 1 for the bedroom side. They weren't too far apart either which would have been a conflict if 2 people were trying to watch different shows at the same time. Like I said it just didn't make sense. Other than that there is a pool etc. that I didn't use and a small fitness room that I didn't also use. As front reception said the fitness room "is cute" and there are a few pieces of exercise equipment there but not really worth using when this hotel is attached via pedway to the Service Sports Center. (Recreation Center) I decided to pay the drop in fee there and use the gym to get in a real workout. This hotel should think about using there little cute fitness area for something else and provide day passes for their guest to the Fitness center next door instead. I think next time I am in Lloydminster I will stay here again just so I don't have to drive to use a rec center.

Loved staying here. We had the family room, so three double/queen beds was amazing for us and our three children. The room was clean. A clean room is everything. The breakfast room was nice & clean, fresh hot food every morning and the staff really friendly. It was a busy weekend so the room got a little packed and hard to get a table but nothing like a 5 minute wait. The swimming pool was just the right temp so the kids were in and out most evenings. The only downside is the maintenance on the hot tub lasted from 9.30am to 4pm one of the days! I think this is something that should be done when the swimming pool is closed aka between 10pm & 9am. The front desk staff were lovely and friendly and always on hand to help. We'd highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying here again.

Probably one of the friendliest hotels I've stayed in! The service and cleanliness is impeccable and the rooms are lovely! The staff were so accommodating, friendly, patient and always smiling! The complimentary breakfast was fresh and delicious with a huge assortment of great food to choose from. Teresa who oversees the breakfast is the perfect person for the job! Her attention to detail and the fact that she remembers who you are is amazing. She also keeps you up to date on local news and was quick to offer assistance in any way she could. Going to Lloyd on business is always hectic so staying someplace where you are comfortable and get good service is so critical. The staff at the Best Western were great and the room clean and comfortable. Location is within walking distance of Second Cup and Spiros restaurant. Also had access to a large sports complex with running track and extensive weight lifting gym.

I had a great stay at the Best Western Meridian Plus in Lloydminster. I did have one small situation that needed to be dealt with and both Carol & Giemma wasted no time in helping me out and doing their best to accommodate my needs. Not only did they accommodate me with my situation they also booked me my next hotel at the Best Western in Wainwright. Thank you Carol & Giemma for your help and the great service. If your looking for a hotel to stay at for business. I highly recommend the Best Western. Great staff and new comfortable rooms. Will definitely be back when stopping through. Very close to everything you need. Front desk was very helpful in directing me to great places to eat and the morning breakfast has something for everyone.

Stayed here for four nights for a dance festival April 13-17 2016. The location was good, with it being a six minute drive to the festival venue (Vic Juba Hall) and plenty of nearby restaurants. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Kids made good use out of the pool, enjoyed the water slide. Breakfast was great every morning- the kids really enjoyed having crepes every morning. The woman who works in the breakfast area was very friendly and makes sure that the food is always replenished, she was very helpful as well with giving directions, suggestions, etc. Check in and check out were quick. Would stay again!

Just a HUGE THANK YOU to all the staff that helped make our circumstances so much better. Upon a recent family member bereavement; the hotel went out of its way to accommodate us and our meeting needs; adding extra chairs to our suite; and allowing the use of the breakfast area to meet together with family to work together for the evening. The early check-ins for our group, and late checkouts for other family members were also truly appreciated. The courtesy, cleanliness, helpfulness, service of the staff and the fabulous hearty breakfast was absolutely everything we needed! Thank you ALL so very much, for making the difficult time so MUCH BETTER!!

The hotel has a walk way to the rink so you never have to leave the building.The rooms are very well kept and very clean,the breakfast is awesome filled with everthing you need to start your day.Inever used the pool area but it looked great,This hotel is good for families or teams.

This is a very nice and well run Hotel. The staff is excellent. This was our 5th year in a row that our hockey team has stayed here and it just gets better and better. The complimentary breakfast is basic but good and run by a very friendly gal who remembers just about everyone.

Stayed here in February for 2 nights and couldn't have asked for more. Spacious room, excellent shower, comfortable bed. The gym was very good for a hotel, had everything I needed for a complete workout. (I think you can also access the adjoining multi-use facility if you needed a full track or more hard core workout) The breakfast area will blow you away. Probably the best breakfast area you will find in a "free" environment.

This is a beautiful property - the rooms still look brand new. Great pillows, beds, hair dryers. Good fitness facility, coffee and lemon water always available in the lobby. The breakfast is the best I've had for a continental and the staff are so friendly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We were staying at this hotel during our daughter's wedding. The staff made it extremely convenient during our stay and went out of their way to make it very comfortable for us. They worked around our schedule for cleaning the room and the front desk staff were very good to deal with. Manager Marlene made the stay extremely pleasant and she went out of her way to ensure our stay was stress free. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Wifi has good connection and speed. Pool/hot tub and water slide add a nice touch. The front desk and breakfast staff were friendly. The breakfast staff was almost too friendly for 7am Overall a great experience.

In my business travels I'm pretty demanding. Where I stay becomes my home into which I'm welcoming clients. In a small city like Lloydminster this hotel was the best my team could find. I was amazed at the beauty and homeyness of it. My 1-bedroom suite was equipped with everything but a range. I rarely cook at home. Why would I cook in a hotel? :-) better yet was the fireplace and accent lights highlighting the heating fireplace. WONDERFUL!! Of most importance to me were the people. They made my stay feel like home AND in a very professional manner. Everything I asked for was provided with pleasure and precisely as requested... from the front desk, through housekeeping to the conference services and even on my way out. It's equal to a JW Marriott in a small city. Thanks everyone!

We just stayed at this hotel this past weekend. The room was nice and had a wonderful location. I was extremely disappointed in the rude front desk staff. I was also surprised in that they will not run the water slide unless a staff member is sitting there. Once when the kids and I were in the pool, the man there just turned off the slide and left without saying anything. When I phoned the front desk, I was told he would be back in 20 minutes, he went on a break. This happened again the next day as well except this time the front desk staff were very rude when I asked for the slide to go back on. I was also disappointed in the cleaning of the room between stays. It was clean when we got there just not the greatest stay over service.

The hotel is near many amenities, but a little bit away from the hwy. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms very comfortable and roomy. A hot breakfast every morning, had a variety of choices.

We had to be in Lloyminster for business and booked 2 nights. Room was very clean and comfortable. We used the gym and pool as part of our fitness regime and both areas are well appointed. I can not say enough about the breakfast one of the very best included breakfast I have experienced, the lady looking after the breakfast area was friendly and very nice she made the whole thing worthwhile. I will most definitely book again this is my first choice for accommodation in Lloyminster.

This was another great stay at the Meridian. The hotel is located in great location. Accessible to shops and restaurants. The hotel is connected to the Servus Recereation Centre. There is a Tim Horton's within walking distance and Spiro's Greek Restaurant across the parking lot. A great hotel to stay in while in Lloydminster!

First time staying at this Best Western Hotel and was very happy with the experience. Staff was very helpful and welcoming, the room was fantastic, and the overall service was excellent. I will stay there again should I be in the city.

I travel to Lloydminster on a monthly basis for business and I have tried a number of hotels in this city. I only have one that I stay at now and it is this hotel. They recently underwent some renovations and they look great! The staff are some of the best in the business as they are always very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast and fitness facilities are the best in all the hotels I have stayed at in Lloydminster. I highly recommend this facility if you are planning a trip to Lloydminster

This is a nice hotel, with cookies, coffee, etc at the lobby. The rooms are decent sized, with a sofa in the living room section. The service was decent. We slept so well that we missed breakfast! There are also a bunch of facilities that we didn't use. The business centre needs a password from the front desk.

The staff at this hotel are very friendly and helpful. From the moment I called in to make my reservation until I checked out they went out of their way to make my stay very comfortable. I would & will return to the Best Western PLUS Meridian Hotel on my next trip to Lloydminster! :-)

I have been visiting Lloydminster on business almost every week for the past 3 months and have been lucky enough to be booked in to this hotel most of the time. The facility is excellent and has an in-house fitness facility (recently opened), a pool (which isn't quite completed yet), a breakfast room which has an excellent continental breakfast and is looked after by Teresa (who is nothing short of an amazing hostess), and is attached to the multiplex sports facility. The hotel even hands out passes to the full gym in the multi-plex if you prefer that over the in house facility. The rooms are clean, well appointed and looked after. I am a Diamond Elite rewards holder and was recently upgraded to a full suite with kitchenette, jacuzzi, King size bed and steam shower which was nice and made me feel like royalty. The building is modern and has several restaurants in the vicinity. The counter staff (Lisa, Chelsea and Carol) are always friendly, do their jobs well and make you feel welcome and like family. They always ensure a great stay. If I have to be away from home, this is a place that I always look forward to staying at.

I only experienced the hotel for less than 24 hours - closer to 12 from my check in to check out - however it was a great stay and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. For someone who only ever seems to head through Lloyd on my way to Edmonton it at first felt a bit off the beaten path but not to worry as there were multiple options for restaurants, gas stations etc. nearby. My room was quite large, very clean and well laid out. I liked the separate area with a couch, desk and TV and then the king bed - again with a TV. The bathroom had plenty of room and counter space. The room had a microwave, fridge and Keurig coffee maker. I didn't try the breakfast - had to run to my conference - but the room when I walked by also was very clean and roomy. A few key things to share: - great bathroom amenities - Bath & Body Works Shampoo & Conditioner (love this!!) - large parking lot with a 2nd Cup and Tim Hortons nearby - A liquor store is also nearby - basically in the parking lot - A full service restaurant is also in the parking lot - Spiros - didn't try it but it is good to know that there is a place so close for next time - I thought my room was not getting hot water however, the plumbing in room 323 was installed backwards the H was cold and the C was hot. I let the front desk know to share with other guests. This was the only less than perfect aspect of my stay. This was a business trip for a conference and this hotel is where my company chooses to stay each time. I now know why!

Staff very friendly , Great Rooms, Air Conditioning a little noisy, Sky walk on 2nd Floor across to recreation complex with two ice rinks. Free breakfast leaves something to be desired. Across the parking lot is a very good restaurant called Spiros

Stayed at the BW Plus Meridien in Lloydminster over the long weekend in September for a family wedding. The rooms were large and comfortable and obviously very new. We had a very comfortable king-sized bed. The hotel is connected to the Servus Sports Centre by a walkway with the second floor. I believe a pool is in the works from what I've read but I didn't see any obvious signs of it happening so I'm not sure... We enjoyed a simple breakfast each morning and the staff were friendly and helpful. Perhaps the only fault I could find is that the exhaust fan from the sports centre occasionally would be loud when it ran which some family members could hear in their room. Other than that, we'd highly recommend this as one of the best choices for people traveling to Lloydminster.

If this were the quality of all Best Westerns, I would stay here all the time!! Comfortable room with two flat screens and nice furnishings. The bed and especially the pillows were perfect! Spacious breakfast area with two way fireplace. Seems like a better spread of breakfast choices than usual but can only compare to last week's Best Western visit. I will gladly stay here the next time I am in town!

went to this hotel for a wedding, we were suppose to get a wedding rate, I found out that it is cheaper to book online than it is to use their discounted rate, when you have about 30 rooms being booked, you would think you would get a decent discount, and everyone paying the same, and was told that we would all be together. That's why I paid the extra instead of online. Then I get there and we were booked all over the place on different floors and the staff didn't seem to care. Their AMA rate was more money than both online and group rate. thats not the worst part, the breakfast was the worst, fruit was slimy, eggs either like rubber or runny, french toast was so hard that I could not cut it with a knife, had no adult cereal. I ended up going else were for breakfast hence the "FREE" part. The cleaning staff was nice, but front staff not so much and not too knowledgeable. Definitely not stay their again

Lloydminster hotels are to the hospitality industry what Boston Pizza is to restaurants. They aren't horrible, they aren't amazing, generally just mediocre. This was the first time that I stayed at this hotel but have stayed in Lloyd lots and this hotel has been the best experience yet. The hotel is either new or recently renovated. It is clean and generally quiet (I was on the 4th floor). It is very well located. Right on the south edge of town. Tim's in walking distance so your caffeine dealer is literally a stones throw away. Close to some restaurants (not sure their quality), Subway and a liqour store are very close too. The room was very clean with all the standard appointments. The bed was super comfortable (I was by myself in a king so possibly biased). The staff were all very friendly and polite, I didn't have any special requests though. Breakfast was good. The standard fare: scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, fruit, yogurt and cereal. Its no Denny's but it is certainly better than the holiday inn express and their "breakfast". I will be staying here again and have no issues recommending it to folks traveling for work. I don't recommend it for kids because I don't want kids staying in the nice hotels I like... but honestly if i was traveling with my own small kids i might look for something slightly cheaper and more interesting for them. Overall very nice hotel. Recommended.

My wife, daughter and her husband, son and his partner and I stayed here while attending our granddaughter's wedding. Check-in was quick and easy. The rooms were all ready when we arrived and were very clean - and remained that way throughout our stay. The breakfast which was included in the price of our room was one of the best that we have encountered. There were hot food items as well as cold, juice, coffee, tea, muffins, toast, fresh fruit, etc. The entire hotel was kept clean despite the constant rainfall. We will certainly utilize this hotel in future visits.
