Best Western Plus Howe Inn

Had a great time and have a beautiful pool. My kids and I had a great time. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. I had issues using priceline to get the room but the staff helped me fix it and made it as stress free as possible. Thank you!

We love this place for a friendly, clean, and quiet stay with a great breakfast. This is our go-to place in the area. We stay here a few times every year for family gatherings. The rooms are clean and comfortable (wish I could get one of those beds for home), and the staff is awesome! The breakfast includes a wide variety of options and a specialty coffee machine, kept clean and appetizing by a caring staff. Bonus! There is an indoor, heated pool! It all comes down to the amazing people and management. Although we were visiting for Thanksgiving, the lady at the front desk remembered us from our last visit, months ago, for a family funeral. That's an unexpected throwback to a simpler time, when people mattered. Note: we also like this hotel because it is pet-free, which is perfect for us (recent dog bite incident). So if you want to bring Rover, please go with one of other great choices in the area.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The hotel was located very close to the toll road exit and there was plenty of parking available when I arrived (and there seemed to be plenty still available when I left in the morning). Check in and out was very simple and easy. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I felt very safe staying here alone. Breakfast started at 6am on the weekdays (I am not sure of the weekend start time). There were waffle makers and a special hot coffee machine that made more specialty coffee drinks on demand. I enjoyed having bacon and a premade french toast. There was a pool but I did not utilize this amenity. I was very pleased with my stay and I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

There many things going on in the area like football games and concerts in the neighboring towns. The price was high because they knew people needed rooms. The rooms looked attractive but the lobby did not. The breakfast was good. The staff was friendly.

Would definitely stay again when in the area. Nice employees with a great hot breakfast consisting of eggs, sausage, waffle, fresh fruit, etc. The staff was polite and the room was clean. We didn't use any of the amenities.

We have switched to almost always staying at Best Western hotels. The cleanliness, quality, and attention of staff remains consistently superior. This hotel is no exception to this rule. The staff was attentive and friendly, the room clean and quiet, and the breakfast good.

Took the family to a family reunion and this was the halfway stopping point. Clean and comfy room. Excellent breakfast with high protein, low carb choices. The yogurt machine was a nice touch. My teenage grandsons loved the waffle maker. Everyone was well fed. Breakfast started early so we were able to get on the road nice and early for a long drive home. Thank you BW for a great experience.

My wife and I travel to the Howe area from NC every two years, and this our go to place. There is an indoor pool right next to the lobby, and there is NO chlorine smell when you walk in the door. The facilities are spotless, the beds sleep great, internet is fast and reliable. Breakfast is wonderful and Management and staff always greet with us a smile. We will be back.

This hotel is right off the turnpike exit making it easy to get off and on. The rooms are very clean quite and comfortable. The complementary breakfast is basic but good and the eating area is clean and well supplied. There is a Chinese restaurant nextdoor but other restaurants are a few miles away but easy to get to.

This was a nice hotel to stay in. We stayed several nights and the staff was very helpful when my husband was not feeling well. The hotel itself is in great shape, the rooms are clean and the location is great - close enough to the interstate to be convenient and far enough away to my hear road noise all night.

This best western is really nice and clean staff is nice and helpful resturans close and is right off of i80 plenty of semi parking I can't say enough good about this hotel to top it off breakfast is awesome too

We stayed to use the spa tub! This is the second time. Well worth it do to being close to home. Great staycation! We will be coming back again. Breakfast was good could have more of a meat selection but it changes!

My daughter venture out on her first solo trip across the country. This was her first stop. As a mother I was definitely nervous. I called and booked a room and asked that they watched out for her as she was traveling solo. They had limited availability but would do their best. When she arrived she checked into to a room that was exceptionally clean but did have a lingering garlic smell from the previous guest. They were kind enough to state without asking that they were going to bring in a purifier which was fine with my daughter. But to her surprise they upgraded her to a better room and even when she fist declined they insisted that she take the upgrade so she could get some rest comfortably! As a manager of a hotel I know how hard it is to please everyone! But I also know amazing customer service when I see it! Kudos to Amanda and Grace. You know it's in impressive when a kid who grew up in the industry says “mom they are incredible and really sweet and caring, I am definitely going to sleep good tonight's guy” that she is in the perfect place! Thank you!!! I HIGHLY recommend this hotel and definitely call out Amanda and Grace for going above and beyond!

Came to town for two nights on business with two coworkers. Overall, the hotel is very nice. Looks to be well taken care of and clean. The staff were very nice. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The only somewhat negative i would say would be that the breakfasts were not that great. But I would have no issue staying there again.

Pros: Location is easy to access. Breakfast was good. It is obvious this is a older hotel, but management has made many updates. Price was great. Cons: We booked a larger room so our son could sleep on the pull out and our daughter would have her own bed. When we opened the pull out the mattress was falling apart. The side was completely ripped open and the springs were exposed. So my daughter and son slept in the same bed. The room was not super clean. There was some dust on fixtures, crumbs around the bedside table, etc. There will little things that were irritating, like some of the lightbulbs in the bathroom were "white" lights and others were "yellow." The carpet needs to be replaced in some areas. Summary: We stayed for one night and it was sufficient. If we had plans to stay longer I would have requested a different room. However, for a stopover, the low price, easy location, and nice breakfast made it worthwhile.

This is the place to pick at Exit 121 on I-90/80. Had a very nice clerk check us in and only had to drop our keys off while checking out. Our room was spacious and included a couch, desk, two sitting chairs plus microwave and large refrigerator. The room was clean, had a very good shower and large bathroom countertop. The bed was comfortable and TV worked just fine. The room had many electrical outlets, and the hotel had ice machines, but not on the second floor. The breakfast was good and typical for most Best Westerns. We would definitely stay here again.

We were in town for a wedding, and the hotel was picked by the wedding party but we were pleasantly surprised with the nice hotel very clean and the awesome big breakfast that was offered. The staff was extremely friendly and on top of their job..

I was visiting the Sturgis/Howe area with a friend over a weekend (a Saturday night) in September 2022. I don't usually stay at Best Western properties, but my friend and I were on a budget and it was less expensive than a hotel from a different chain that's up the road from here. We arrived early in the afternoon, and our room was ready before the official check-in time of 3 p.m., so we were able to check in early which we greatly appreciated. Our check-in process was quick and easy, and I was happy that I didn't have any trouble paying with cash up front for the room which I sometimes like to do but often have trouble with at hotels. Our room (#312) was clean and comfortable... no problems there. Overall, I'm giving the hotel an Average rating because it's an older property and there's nothing really special about it. The business center computers have an extremely slow Internet connection which was frustrating when I was trying to use it. Breakfast was acceptable but nothing terribly special. While the indoor pool area is nice, it doesn't have a hot tub which I would have liked. All in all, it was just kind of expensive for what we got. We didn't have any real problems at all (except for the slow Internet connection on the business center computers). It's just that this hotel is nothing special or interesting.

Stayed on Labor Day 2022. Finally, we found a very clean hotel. Our room was both clean and spacious with a table beside both beds, a desk w/chair, a coffee table and an end table between the rooms 2 cloth chairs. Plenty of room to put our luggage on which is getting all too rare. The room also included a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee cup (K-Cup style) and a long bathroom vanity. The tub was VERY CLEAN. The next morning, we went down to the breakfast area. The offerings included scrambled eggs, ham, pre-made hot pancakes, do-it-yourself waffles (that was making the whole dining area smell terrific) bread, English muffins, bagels, Danish rolls, cereals, apples, yogurt, and flavored muffins. Coffee and juice as well. The breakfast attendant stayed on top of things and refilled the hot items as needed. She received some well-deserved compliments and also cleaned tables promptly as they became vacant.... Wow! We have not witnessed this type of motel quality and customer service in a very long time. This hotel is just a couple of minutes from the Michigan border (Sturgis) and close to a Walmart, Meijer, Dollar Tree, and several nearby restaurants. If you belong to a shared branching credit union, there is an Omni shared branching location directly across the street from Applebee's on the main drag. Needless to say, we know where we would stay again upon a return to this area. Highly recommended. As always, be safe and enjoy your travels! J.

The room was comfortable and clean, very good breakfast, pool looked inviting but didn't have time. Staff was friendly and helpful. Not many restaurant options but enough. This was our second time stopping here and will definitely be back.

Very close to town. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean but older looking. Ours had a weird smell that we had to use a dollar tree cherry bomb to make it better. Breakfast was average. No bacon. However, I would stay here again just due to location.

We were in town for a wedding and had no idea what to expect since the area had limited options and we were just going along with the wedding block. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice this was and enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was good and the dining area served our extended family well for various gatherings. One really nice thing was that the housekeeping staff stopped by our rooms to clean and restock - something we haven't seen in other hotels since prior to the Covid lockdowns. The fitness center was good, except they didn't have free weights. We adjusted by using their machine.

Family lives in Sturgis, so we've been coming for years. This time we were in town for a funeral. This is always our hotel of choice. It's well maintained and a convenient place to stay w/helpful staff.

Best Western Plus in Howe, Indiana, is a great place to stay. Hotel staff were all very nice and accommodating. I chose this hotel because reviews of other hotels in the general area were less than flattering. I didn't have any issues during my stay. In my search for a hotel these days, I want the room to be clean and neat and not old, tired and musty. I had no such issues during my stay. BW Plus in Howe receives high marks from me. The breakfast was also very good when compared to similar type hotel "free" breakfasts. No complaints here either. Selections were good......great waffle making bar.....usually had scrambled eggs, a meat selection, great bagels and English Muffins to toast.....and a fresh yogurt making machine. [I put "free" in quotes, because no manmade goods and services are free.....Econ 101.] Be prepared to miss the turn onto the hotel property, as one must go through an adjacent parking lot and the Best Western signage on the highway is rather small. It's not a big deal, but I did pass it up the first time. Would I stay here again......yes, without question.

We were driving through and stopped on our way. The staff was super friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and breakfast had plenty of options. The location was perfect because we were exhausted after driving 10 hours. Without hesitation I would recommend this hotel.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is clean and has nice amenities--not that I used the pool or fitness center, but I thought about it. My room was comfortable and had a fridge and microwave, which was a nice surprise. Front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. I complained about my A/C being noisy and not cooling, and within about an hour of that complaint they had installed a new unit! I skipped the free breakfast as the options were mostly on the starchy side (white bread/bagels, cereal, oatmeal, fresh waffles, etc.) and the breakfast area was pretty messy.

This is a great hotel. Lots of amenities - pool, breakfast, exercise area, business center. Great, friendly service meaning an awesome staff. It was kept clean. And very reasonable price. Excellent location. We were there for a family reunion of sorts in Sturgis, Michigan but Shipshewana and the Amish area is not far away at all.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Best Western Howe, IN the staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean and welcoming. Our room was clean we had a jacuzzi in our room and everything worked well. We were pleased with our stay.

When was the last time you had an opportunity to spend a night in a hotel room that has not been used to board dogs? When was the last time you were offered a choice regarding whether or not you wished to stay in a room that had been used to board dogs? THANK YOU, Best Western, for putting the interest of human guests above animals. Even the Ritz Carlton has succumbed to boarding dogs in rooms and allowing them on lobby furniture. The hotel is clean and fresh. The internet service is excellent. The continental breakfast is better than most other places we've been, including higher-priced places in the vicinity. On top of that, the staff is as friendly and helpful as you could hope for. If you are in the area and you have a choice, you can make no better choice than the Best Western. THANKS!!

The bed was so comfortable, room a/c very cool and comfy. would and will stay again. The staff was very friendly and informative. the area was well lit . easy access to the lake and business. The bed so comfortable great night sleep.

Staff are ausome from manager to cleaning staff, breakfast not the greatest but ehhh we had long conversation with manager grace nice lovely manager. Located just south of sturges MI where we ate at Heat & Serve great food

I've stayed at this hotel 3 times in the last 2 weeks and all nights were enjoyable. The price is reasonable and there is quick access to the instate highway system. The breakfast is convenient and well laid out.

Great place to stop. Very clean and comfortable beds and furniture. Good breakfast and good pool. Well lit parking lot and large vehicle parking. Convenient right off the highway but not much highway noise

I stay here a couple times a year and this location is always user friendly with easy access in and out, the staff are friendly, they have a small fitness center and a pool, good wifi and a good breakfast. Overall I always have a pleasant stay at this location.

Stayed here for business. All of the staff was thoughtful and considerate. The room was modern and clean. Breakfast was ok, but I'm pretty fussy when it comes to this. An "adult only", hot tub would be great, since the pool was full of kids.

From check in to check out we had a wonderful experience at this hotel. All the staff we encountered showed genuine concern that we enjoyed our stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. The room was clean, beds were very comfortable and had the amenities you would expect in a 4* hotel, but not a 3* hotel. Breakfast was not a simple continental breakfast with sweets and breads, but had hot healthy options. I also appreciated that coffee was available all day. Most importantly, during the pandemic, the hotel had gloves and a sign that they should be worn at all times when handling food. This showed that the hotel really cared about their clients. I would highly recommend this hotel and when we visit family again we will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed & used the various amenities provided. The refrigerator & the microwave were much appreciated. The room was nice sized & comfortable. This was our last night on the road and a comfortable place with an earlier check-in made for a pleasant ending to the trip.

Someone has taken great care to address many of the room details. The guard that keeps the curtains from blowing with the heat/air, and weights in the corner of the drapes. The room felt cleaner than most hotels I have ever stayed at in the past. Breakfast employee was constantly cleaning while people came and went.

Great Personnel, Friendly efficient and warm. The hotel was clean the beds were comfortable. I got there late which checked in rapidly and was asleep before I knew it. The hotel was quiet and conveniently located. A grand children enjoyed the breakfast and we enjoyed our stay there

Hotel is dated, the rugs need to be changed before it can feel clean. Our room smelled like cigarette smoke, even though the hotel is supposedly non- smoking. Tub is high to step into. Hotel has one elevator. Breakfast was fine with pleasant staff. They did offer hand sanitizer and gloves for handling breakfast items. Conveniently located off of the Interstate.

The hotel was very clean and quiet and we felt safe at this location. They also offered a "real" breakfast. The young lady checking us in was very nice and helped us find a place for dinner. We did experience a problem with cigarette smoke entering our room through the A/C. This occurred twice through the night. Grace, who was at the desk in the morning, was very apologetic and said she would report the problem.

We've been disappointed by Marriott lately. The last two properties we stayed at left something to be desired as far as cleanliness, and at our last stay the service quality was far below what we expected. At Howe, though, the property was very clean, and I was quite impressed by how friendly and helpful the staff was, especially Grace. Breakfast had something other than carbohydrates. Next time we're out that way I would definitely stay again!

Had a very nice one night stay here. Staff were very pleasant and efficient. Room was very clean, nice size; bathroom was updated with long granite counter and shower was great. Hot breakfast was very good. Although we didn't use it, the indoor pool looked great - a little bigger than you usually see. Only reason we didn't rate this 5 star is the carpeting in the room and hallways definitely needs updating. Overall a very good experience.

Hotel was clean. Breakfast was good considering the Covid-19 guidelines. May have to ask for additional towels and washcloths depending on the size of your party. The pool was clean and refreshing. Guest laundry services did the job.

This Best Western is awesome! The entire staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and spotless. Hot breakfast selections were really great and served by a cheerful staff member. We will definitely use this hotel for all our future visits to Sturgis.

There are several hotels in the area. Police are at the other hotels regularly. Best Western is a safe one! I would only stay here or the Holiday Inn Express. Don't try to save money by staying anywhere else because you'll regret it.

Nice location for our visit. Anything you would need is very close by. 5 minutes north is Sturgis, MI and they have grocery stores, fast food, Walmart etc. Nice area. Howe Family Diner is a great recommendation. Close to the highway but really didn't hear highway noise. Staff was very pleasant during our visit.

Nice Hotel with Easy access right off the freeway. Staff was courteous and friendly. Hotel was clean and was following all Covid Protocols, which we appreciated! The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were amazing!! They served a Hot Breakfast with many choices, but instead of many people handling the food, they had an employee dish up items for each guest and serve them. Miss Grace was a doll. Very sweet lady and very accommodating. Best Western Howe Indiana is lucky to have an employee that represents them so well.

Stayed in the suite costs just as much if not more then other hotels, also very small suite compared to most. Tub drain wouldnt stay shut for baths and thermostat was not working properly. Also was not offered to sign up for rewards.

A very well managed and maintained property. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and all indications are that the staff is working hard to maintain pandemic protocols. The pool, fitness center and other amenities were available for use. The property is also offering the full breakfast service. The primary difference is that a staff member fills your plate for you. Very convenient to I-80, Shipshewana and Sturgis. Highly recommended.

I have worked in this area a lot the past 4 years. Always stay at this motel even if it's a little farther away.Always clean, neat and friendly rooms and service.when I bring my crew to work I need to know that they have a clean relaxing place to be. No fears of being disappointed , very consistent. Also breakfast is good .

We stayed at the Best Western in Howe, Indiana. This hotel is super clean, well maintained, and the staff make your stay safe and enjoyable. The breakfast was wonderful and absolutely not lacking anything, the room was clean and tidy, and the staff were more than helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

very nice place to stay, close to shopping always a great time in the area, Shipshewana very close by many places to stop for all your meals especially Amish cooking and of course the bakeries. Best Western plus is in a great location

No elite upgrade available when hotel was not that occupied. Room was not as clean as it should be during COVID times. Fingerprints all over desk and night stand and desk chair. Thankfully I brought my own cleaning products. Grab and go breakfast is low quality...like super 8 level. For a hotel that charges close to $100/nite I'd suggest looking elsewhere because this hotel isn't worth the price.

Very nice clean. Pleasure to talk with the workers always going out of there way to help you. They have a nice indoor pool which is very nice when bringing kids. We use to love there breakfast until covid.

Stayed at Best Western Plus as halfway point on a long road trip. Hotel was very clean and staff was friendly. There are a few fast food restaurants a few miles north in Michigan. Just looking for a place to spend the night. Best Western Plus Howe, IN was what we needed.

Housekeeping never touched our room no clean towels nothing. Went to the front desk just have us towels and thays it. Went to the pool and a bunch of kids were jumping in the pool running around told front desk nothing was done. Wont stay here again. Went to have breakfast they have a to go breakfast but only had one breakfast left. Would think they would have enough for everyone staying there. Key wouldnt work a couple of times desk attendant said I had it next to my phone which I didnt was kinda rude about it. I wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stopped by during the road trip and this hotel is a welcome refuge from the road: easily accessed from the expressway, the building was very clean and well taken care of. The double queen room we had for around the appropriate price of $90 was set up perfectly. It had a clean bathroom, cold refrigerator, wifi working good and excellent bedding.

Have stayed here several times in the past. Never a problem previously. This time, on a 2-night stay, housekeeping never touched our room. No trash removal, not towels, nothing! When I talked to the front desk, all they asked is how many towels I needed. No apology. No offer to have someone touch it up. Not happy this trip.

Much nicer than it needs to be. The staff is great. Grace especially is good. Always a pleasure. Keeps the place nice. She even fusses over the flowers in the summer. Very well maintained. Loved the new cable machine in the workout room.

I stayed there for a week on business. The place was clean and it was very quiet. It was easy to get a good night's rest. I enjoyed the breakfast and the staff was veryvfriendly. I plan on staying here again.

Very clean spacious room. Breakfast was outstanding. Kudos to the gal who takes care of food prep. She pays attention to detail. Staff is helpful: I called ahead to ask that our family members get rooms close to each other, and they made it happen. We stayed in the suite. Some of room amenities could be upgraded/improved. It would be great to add USB charging to some of the outlets and/or have charging stations on the lamps beside the beds. There is no place to hang clothing in the bedroom of the suite. (You can hang clothes in the closet by the door, but that's not helpful when you are getting dressed.)

Easy on/off to the expressway. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was decent. Staff was friendly and helpful. We arrived VERY late and were hungry. There were 2 fast food places within 3 miles but, for me the better option was Meijers. Other than that there's not much to do around there. Had one issue with the room but it was resolved to my satisfaction.

My husband and I had to make a two day trip to Indiana and back to Minnesota. After 9 hours on the road we were tired. The hotel was a welcome relaxing way to recharge for the long back to Minnesota the next day. Everything was fantastic! Very clean. Large spacious room! Great breakfast. Thank you for all you do!

I'll not only never stay in Howe, Indiana with BWP again, I'm done with the BRAND. Doors locked, night staff locked out with me... she borrows my phone to attempt a remedy, realizes she doesn't know the number of the person she needs to find. I find accommodations across the street at the Hampton, and when I call to obtain a refund since I COULDN'T ENTER THE BUILDING, I'm directed to visit the next morning to secure a cancellation/refund some 7 days hence. When I arrive the next morning, staff informs me the night manager claimed I NEVER SHOWED UP, so she indicates she'll be keeping my reservation payment. Probably not the thing to tell a litigator, one who notices there's a SECURITY CAMERA OVER THE DOOR, and unless THAT TOO was non-operational, BWP has a PROBLEM...

We stayed three nights at the hotel and had a great experience. The front desk staff (Amanda especially!) were very helpful and kind. The hotel itself was very nice. The breakfast spread was impressive and had many options for vegetarians and even the picky eater in our group. The pool was really nice as well. We will definitely stay again!

Our stop at Howe was a very nice and pleasant experience. Great price, great room and fantastic breakfast. A large number of dinning options were only a mile or so away. Great place to get off the interstate and relax.

We've stayed at several area hotels in this area over the years. This is the first time we've stayed at the Best Western. This hotel was very clean, the rooms were comfortable, and the price reasonable. The staff is friendly and helpful. We will return and would recommend this place to others.

Was a great place to stay while going to the flea market. The breakfast had a great variety with waffles to little omelets. Although it could have been a little hotter, was still a great meal. Pool looked nice and clean but didn't go in.

Great all around satisfactory experience. Had a very delightful stay in a room with a splendid relaxing jacuzzi. Breakfast was elaborate & delicious. Staff was friendly & most of all extremely accommodating.

Never stayed here before. Not exactly sure I would stay here again. It was the area that made me feel uncomfortable. I didn't exactly feel safe. If it wasnt for no cancellation I would have continued on my trip.

We have been staying here for 10+ years when we go to Shipshewana. It's quiet, located away from traffic, near everything. 2 minutes to Michigan. And it has the best employees, very helpful and friendly.

Awesome place to spend a night or two. Friendly, courteous staff to check you in and they make sure you are cared for in every way. Great parking and close to all the area attractions. They present a huge, good breakfast!We spent two nights and we will always come back to this place.

This a great place to stay, rooms are clean, breakfast is excellent.Staff at the front desk is outstanding and friendly. I would come back to this motel again if I was here the area. The only issue is we where on the second floor and the room above us had people in it that had heavy feet, because we could hear them throughout the night until we went to bed.

The Best Western in Howe seems almost out of town, but it's a good place with friendly staff eager to assist in whatever way. A hot tub on the promises would be welcome, but the place is good, the pool water warm and the parking ample.

We had a very good stay. The rooms are comfortable and attractive. The breakfast is very good. The hotel is very convenient to Shipshewana and the Midwest's largest flea market. The location is good. The hotel is convenient to the interstate, but in a location that is very quiet and relaxing

I was at this hotel with friends. Three of us shared a room with two beds and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was super comfortable, and was in its own alcove. The room was big and comfortable. My only minor annoyance was there were not enough convenient outlets to charge electronics.

We stayed here one night while traveling from WI to PA, returning from a family vacation. We had two adults and three tweens. The suite we had was very spacious, with a sofa sleeper, a couple over stuffed chairs, a TV, a small kitchenette and table and two chairs in the living room. The bedroom had two queen beds, a chair, TV and dresser. The hotel was clean, with a pool and exercise room, and included a nice breakfast. This is a nice hotel if you are passing through this area.

We have stayed at this location before, and it is still great. Nice rooms, reasonable price, and a really nice free breakfast with multiple choices available. We went into Sturgis, MI to grab a bite after checking in. I got an olive burger at Hot n Now (you've got to try it). Hubby got something from Culver's across the street, where we saw an Amish buggy parked in their special buggy parking area!

Hotel is very clean and looks brand new. Breakfast area is large with plenty of seating. Indoor pool for the kiddos. Perfect place for business travelers as well as families. Owners pride in the property is evident due to the condition.

We haven't stayed at a Best Western in a while, but this hotel may influence our future trips. The room was spacious, very clean, and very up to date. We had an alcove off of the main room with two chairs and a desk. In the main portion of the room we had the king bed (very comfortable), couch and TV. If all Best Westerns were like this location, it would be my top hotel pick. This was one of the nicest hotels we've stayed at. Would definitely recommend. There's a local cafe down the road about 2 minutes away, and we would also recommend it. Quick service and good food.

Great place to stay when traveling. Close to toll road. Staff very helpful. Desk clerk helped with tv problem right away. They had many selections for breakfast including yogurt machine and fruit for yogurt. We would stay here again.

this was a nice hotel right off the toll road. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. They have a very nice breakfast but look for the waffles and more danishs around the corner past the coffee bar or you will not even know they are there. I noticed it as I threw my trash away. Watch out for the walk way into the lobby it was very slippery even though they had salted it and shoveled the area. Overall a great place to stay.

This is a great place to stay. Close to the highway and great food just up the street. Quiet location just off the main road. Did I mention newly remodeled. Very nice rooms with a pleasant decor. Refrigerator and microwave in room

We just stayed at this hotel over holiday weekend and was very pleased with it. We had an easy check in and check out. Good restaurants close by for dinner. And the lobby and pool were very nice and clean. Our hotel room was very nice and comfortable and clean too.

Bed was very comfortable, room very quiet, had a nice selection of breakfast items, almost instant hot water in shower, and reasonably priced. One of the best hotels I have visited this year. Highly recommend.

Hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Front desk was nice. Room keys kept demagnetizing Maid service never came. Eggs were runny. Non Descript as it gets. The beds were clean and neat and very comfortable. .It's not the Ritz or the worst, but shop around before settling on this

The Best Western Plus Howe Inn had everything we've been accustomed to expect from Best Western Plus – a clean, comfortable room, a good, hot breakfast selection and courteous service. We would stay here again if we're back in the area.

We have stayed here many times for ND games. We were pleasantly surprised that the rooms were remodeled and were very modern looking. We had a fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. The sink area in the bathroom was large enough for both of us to get ready at the same time. The hotel is always clean (believe me, I'm picky) and the staff is friendly. The only improvement that I would suggest is to staff the breakfast area on game days to better serve the sold out hotel. We had to wait for several items to be restocked. We will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for one night on our road trip and were very positively surprised. We had booked a 1 bedroom suite, and got a huge room with pool view. For the price we paid we were very happy and the room itself is enough for full score, even though there are some minor things that could be improved. Cleaned remote controls were a really nice touch, but you almost had to be touching the screen to make them work, which was a bit annoying. As pool view means interior room, the air in the room wasn't always the best unless the A/C was working hard (which isn't always ideal at night time). Also the hotel isn't within walking distance to many shops/restaurants, but all in all a nice stay.

Although the entrance to this Best Western is kind of difficult to find, once you are there you can have a great stay. We stayed twice on our trip to New York and back, once in room 313 and once in room 323. They were quiet rooms far from the elevator(and the door to the rooms close VERY quietly, although you have to pull it to latch). Sheets were good, pillows and linens were plentiful, and the beds were firm but not too hard. We didn't use the pool, but the pool area was clean. Breakfast was a delight, as it not only included the usual fare, but there was a pancake machine that would cook two pancakes, and three fruit toppings as well as syrup. Everyone we came in contact with were friendly and courteous. Plenty of places to eat just a short drive north on US 12. We will stay here again.

We have stayed here often due to the convenience to the interstate as well as the proximity to South Bend and Norte Dame. Rooms have always been clean and well maintained. Rooms have a mini fridge and a (kuerig type) coffee pot. The am breakfast is included and includes pancakes with a nifty maker and a waffle maker, cereal, yogurt, fruit and coffee and juice. They also have some eggs. It is a reliable clean stop.

Desk hospitality was outstanding, Arrived early and were given a room so that we could tour Howe, Indiana and attend a High School Football Game. Only a 40 minute drive to Notre Dame for the football game on Saturday, Rooms were clean, comfortable and relaxing.Used the pool and the breakfast facilities which was very good,.

Clean, quiet hotel with very comfortable beds and good selections at breakfast. Very close to Shipshewana and the excellent Amish stores and restaurants there. Just down the road from Walmart and grocery store for buying necessities. The price for the room was very reasonable and we would stay here again if we were in the area.

Nothing to do in the area or hotel, pool water was very green and dark...couldnt swim...and asked to leave 1hr after arriving and was told we couldn't get any kind of discount on a $118...room. Breakfast was a basic cold continental.

Clean, friendly, convenient, yet out of the hustle. Loved it!!! This hotel is close to all the small, Amish towns and shops, yet it is very convenient to the interstate. Very quite and out of the way. The whirlpool tub suite was wonderful!!! I wish I could stay here for a weekend every few months to just get away from it all. Would be a great place to just go and even stay in the room all weekend. Loved it!

We spent the night here on our road trip across the country and found it extra clean, well furnished and quiet. The check-in clerk was especially helpful, recommending restaurants and making us feel welcome. Our room had a small fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. We were happy to find a place that not only had an available room (we were in the midst of bad storms) but was also a clean and reasonably priced place. Although most restaurants closed at 9 PM we were able to find food. This was close to I-80 and a short distance from stores and restaurants.

The hotel was clean and updated. We stopped overnight on way to Chicago. Desk staff were professional, efficient and friendly. Breakfast was good, well stocked and in a clean dining area. Great overnight stop! We were very pleased.

We were able to make a last minute reservation after a very long drive. She was very accommodating over the phone and although there was quite a line when we arrived to check in, we were in our room quickly. Sometimes you just need something to go right and everything about this reservation did. Breakfast was good, room was so comfortable and cool. Location was easy to find. Every summer my family and I travel to Indiana from Colorado to visit relatives in the area, and every year we choose the Best Western in Howe. The staff is always courteous, and eager to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast is delicious, and offers a wide variety of options.

Stopped for a one night stay when traveling thorugh to the east coast on vacation. Best Western seems to really be turning things around. Just a great all around stay. Room was clean and everything in working order. It looked like the hotel may have been recently updated. All staff were courteous, friendly, and helpful. And can't say enough about the young lady managing the breakfast area - you would have thought she was working for tips. On top of everything, including making guests feel welcome to breakfast, and regularly checking on everyone to ensure they were enjoying their breakfast. Don't think twice if you need a hotel in this area, just book this one!

Was attending a funeral in Lagrange, this was very close and was one of the best I have stayed in. The staff was extreemly helpful. They went out of their way to make sure everyting was good. The room was very comfortable. Wil definitly be staying there agian when i come up this way in the fall.

Last night away from home in a 2 week cross country trip. We were searching for a place to stay at about 1:30am. Very nice and helpful. More hotel like than most best westerns we have stayed at. 3 floors and they had an elevator. The room was big and clean. The main reason for this review though is the breakfast. Hot and cold items - pretty typical but they also had allergy friendly items. I had a gluten free bagel and they had other choices. Thanks for offering something for those of us with food restrictions- usually I just get coffee and occasionally eggs or oatmeal. Also, Brenda who was working the breakfast area kept everything replenished and cleaned every table as soon as someone left. Most of the time you have to search for a clean table at the free breakfasts.

Thanks so much for making our stay last week for the Shipshewanna quilt show very enjoyable. Best of all your awareness of guests with food allergies. I was pleasantly surprised at breakfast to find gluten free Udis muffins and bagels and also small containers of gluten free cereal they also had coconut almond milk for those like me that also have dairy allergies. Staff was awesome. Great suggestion of Bills steakhouse for our dinner Sunday evening by the young lady at the desk. Comfortable beds and very clean well kept hotel. Highly recommend

We were in the Klinger Lake area for a wedding and they made reservations for us to stay at the Best Western. They were very nice to talk with over the phone when I made the reservations and check-in was easy and quick! Our room was nice~it had a king size bed with a couch that made into a bed and a little alcove area that had two chairs and lamps for reading that was kind if away from the sleeping area. The breakfast all 3 mornings was good~nothing spectacular but good. The first morning I had pancakes, sausage, hot tea and orange juice. The second morning I made a waffle with bacon, hot tea and orange juice. The third morning I had a bagel with cream cheese and Canadian bacon, orange juice and hot tea. They did keep the breakfast area nice and clean and they never ran out of food (like a lot of hotel breakfasts tend to do). The room was very quiet and the bed was really comfortable! We would definitely stay there again if we're ever in the area.

Breakfast awesome! Variety of hot and cold items. Beds very comfortable. This is our go to motel when we come every year! Staff wonderful. See you next year! Have not been in pool area, but it looks clean and well kept, along with laundry and fitness areas.

we arrived in midst of rain snow shower on a bike and were greeted warmly nice staff clean updated rooms and a full breakfast the next morning made us happy, Will come back any time as the staff was helpful in showing us to the next family restaurant.

The staff was friendly and respectful. The room decor was updated, and the beds were comfortable. The indoor pool was on the cool side, but it was really hot outside. The continental breakfast had a variety of things to eat. The only downside was that there's no hot tub which we knew when booking.

We have stayed here many times over the years for our trips out east. The hotel is always clean and the staff/manager are always so welcoming. I highly recommend this location. The staff is very accommodating.

Our party of 4 stayed at this location for a trip to the Shipshewana Flea Market. Since we had not been there in the past, we decided to stay a few miles outside of that town expecting loads of traffic and people in Shipshewana itself. The location of this hotel was an easy 20 minute drive through Amish neighborhoods. Access to the high way was convenient.

Nice folks. Nice new facility. Very nice pool and exercise facility. Really the best place around the area. Slim pickin's in this area. rooms are clean and adequate. Right off the highway and just about a mile south of the Michigan state line.

This says it all: Would I stay here again? Absolutely! Pros: Friendly staff. Quiet. Excellent, clean, furnishings. Excellent lighting in the room. Plenty of outlets in the room. Nice desk and chairs in the room. Excellent wi-fi signal strength. Looks new; no "worn" or "tired" appearance. First-rate breakfast, with french toast, waffles, Canadian bacon, cold cereal, yogurt, fruit, bagels, buttermilk biscuits, several juices, sausage gravy, plus an active person who is constantly updating the food items. Cons: Location can be easily missed, with no sign at the entrance from the road.

This hotel is absolutely amazing, I stayed at the hotel for work purposes/ family reunion. The hotel staff are amazing. I had the suite, and it offered everything I needed for my stay and to visit my family. The only thing that was missing was a hot tub.

Probably one of the nicer places in the area to stay. Our first night the room wasn't as clean as it could have been. The 2nd night they raised the rate $10. They still provided a $9 discount because we were having our RV repaired locally.

Excellent rates for a quality room. Breakfast had several low-carb options for the guest watching their waisteline. My family of six stayed in a suite for under $150. It was well furnished and provided plenty of space. Located right next to the toll road...easy-on and easy off!

Grace, the manager, was wonderful. There was a bit of confusion when I checked in simply because my sister-in-law and I share the same name. But Grace was wonderful in working it out. Since several family members traveled for a funeral, Grace was terrific in putting all of our rooms next to each other on the third floor. We appreciated that very much. Room was very, very comfortable. Housekeeping was terrific. I asked for additional coffee and it was there. Just an overall wonderful hotel! For future trips, we will be staying there. It was 11:30PM, and I was traveling from my home of the last decade (Madison, WI) to my new home and career (Bethlehem, PA). I had realized at about 8PM that I was not going to make it all the way to the far eastern end of PA that night. I started calling the hotels for the frequent sleeper programs of which I am a member to no avail. At around 10PM, I started just taking exits and stopping at all the local hotels. After an hour and a half, I chanced upon the Best Western in Howe. The night clerk was congenial and accommodating. I was signed up for the discount club and in my room in less than 20 minutes. The room was clean, the coffee station was well-provisioned, and the bathroom had plenty of hot water in the morning. I did not hear anything until my alarm, and left well-rested with a pain-free back. This place is not a destination, but a way-station. It fulfills this function perfectly. When I travel in the other direction to visit family, I will be returning to the Howe, IN Best Western. My thanks to the staff.

We have stayed at the Best Western, Howe many times when we are in the area visiting relatives. Once again it was top notch (smoke free property, very clean and comfortable). Employees friendly and helpful. I spilled some water on the floor near the elevator and the desk clerk was very prompt in mopping it up when I asked for assistance. My husband and I have never considered staying elsewhere as we have never been disappointed with Best Western. Please keep up the great services that you provide at the Howe, Best Western!

It's Christmas Eve and we're on our way to the Naval Base to adopt my daughter for the day. 4 hrs away from home and 3 hrs from the Base. We blew out 2 new tires going through the storm. We waited over 3 hrs for a tow with a toddler. We were towed to The Best Western Plus. We were waiting to eat to get into Chicago so needless to say we were sooo hungry. The front desk clerk was amazing. She was sooo friendly and kind. She brought us fruit, yogurt and muffins. Fantastic service! Although we didn't make it to see my daughter, my kids and I were safe at this hotel.

This is a great hotel. The staff is amazing and the hotel is very clean the beds are great. The breakfast was good and if you needed anything they went out of their way to help. I would give this hotel a 10.

It was very clean and the staff was friendly. It was also quiet. The breakfast was pretty typical for a hotel of this level but I appreciate that it has salsa, peppers, cheese, choice of boldness of coffee. My only complaint is that the beds were not comfortable. We were a little stiff when we woke up. But otherwise a good stay.

BW has really improved their image over the past 25 years or so. You have come a long way. We used to look for BW when just looking for the best price, now we look for BW when we want clean/neat at a value price. So many Motels have gone the other way, Clean/neat to best price.

Business in Northern Indiana brought me here. I'm not picky and I grew up in this area and know the caliber of hotels around Howe. I went for the convenience, definitely a lower-end property. A friendly beetle (roach?) spent some time with me as I worked from the hotel room for one day, until I caught him and threw him outside. This place is probably comparable to all the others at the Howe turnpike exit.

Rooms clean and comfortable. Great location right off Interstate, although a little tricky seeing the entrance. Very friendly staff. Good basic breakfast with a good amount of seating area. Nice indoor pool.

We stayed for one night. Check in was super fast. The room was ver nice, comfortable beds, great bathroom with very large countertop for your items. Coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator in the room. Nice pool area and fitness center. They even offer a fitness pack with yoga mat, stretch bands, etc. very friendly staff, no matter who you come in contact with. Good breakfast, with a variety of choices. The waffles are a bit hidden, so some people didn't notice they were available, but they had a nice variety of toppings. Would definitely recommend!

We were here for a wedding. I think the price is a bit high for the location (in the middle of nowhere) and what had happened. We lost power most of the first day in the hotel. Our room was completely out of power. It eventually was fixed, but it made things difficult.

My son is a student at Howe and this BW was only a mile from the school so it was perfect in that aspect. The check in was fast and friendly. We were on the first floor of the 2 story hotel. Our room was spacious with a king bed sleeper sofa mini fridge and microwave. There is a pool but we didn't have time to use it. The morning breakfast had quite a few choices which was nice with picky kids. Close to the freeway and shopping nearby.

We booked this hotel for a girl's outing to Shipshewana and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel and room. The desk staff were beyond helpful in every way. We selected this hotel for the hot breakfast (vs other continental offerings in the area) and it did not disappoint. There is even a Kuerig machine in the room. Highly recommend this location.

We were just beginning a two week road trip. I booked here strictly do to location. It was an easy access on and off Interstate, unfortunately it was right next door to a sheady looking motel. This is the first time While I have stayed in a Best Western before, this was my first stay in a BW Plus. I am not sure what the Plus means, but if this is typical, it should be BW Minus. When I first walked in the smell of chlorine from the poll overwhelmed you. The person checking me in was just "going through the motions". He didn't act like he wanted to be there. The room itself was OK, nothing fancy but what you would expect for this class hotel. Once settled I turned on the TV. That was all I could do turn it on and off. Couldn't change channels. As it was late and I had settled in, I didn't want to change rooms so I turn it off. Breakfast was OK. What you would expect for that class hotel. When I checked out I told then about the problem with the TV, their reply was "OK I guess I can have someone look at it". No apology or anything.

Was a little tricky at first trying to figure out exactly how to get to the hotel parking lot as you have to go through another hotel's parking lot to get to it. Nice décor, comfortable bed, nice clean pool area, friendly staff and overall good quality and reasonable price.

Shipshewana, Indiana is such a great place to visit. We wanted to go to the play at the Blue Gate Theatre "Homegame" and also visit the shops and nearby attractions. We chose the "Best Western Plus at Howe because it was right near the Interstate 80/90 and only 12 miles from the middle of downtown Shipshewana. The drive from the hotel is so peaceful and passes by Amish homes and also as you travel you share the road with Amish buggies. The hotel although near the Interstate is very quiet. The rooms are very clean; comfortable beds; lots of pillows and also extras like Microwave and fridge in the room. The breakfast in the morning is really good. You would not be disappointed in a stay at this hotel.

The room was spacious and clean with two queen beds which were very comfortable. The bathroom was tile floor with granite vanity top, shower supplies and nice shower head. The room had big screen TV., Microwave, fridge, closet with steel hangers and an iron. Quiet incremental heat cool unit, chair, desk and night table with alarm clock. Breakfast consisted of Juice, Coffee, Hot and Cold Cereal, Waffles, Bread, Hot Scrambled Eggs ( Best Ever), Sausage Patty, French Toast. All very good. Great location off Hyw 80. Staff friendly and helpful.

A really great place to stay. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Very clean. We stay at this Best Western all the time when in this area. Kid friendly, and a nice pool area. Fairly close to resturants too.

I wish all of our hotel stays were as awesome as this stay in Howe's Best Western! It looked like a new hotel, but I was surprised it was built in 2004. So very well maintained! Clean! Good breakfast selection, clean room, liked the refrig in our room, and Internet worked! Great stay!

About half the cost of the hotels in Shipshewana and just as nice. Only 15 minute drive to Shipshewana. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good and hot. Hotel was quiet. No ruckus in the hall ways or lobby area.

Nice hotel. Comfy beds, clean, and good breakfast. We didn't get a chance to try out the pool but it looked nice. The breakfast is good. Make sure you peek around the corner! We didn't know there was more breakfast on the other side of the wall until we were done.

This hotel is easy to get to and is close to restaurants and shopping and is only 10 minutes away from Shipshawana. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Great value. We've stayed there multiple times and will do so in the future.

The hotel is nice enough for the area, where only lower end properties are available. The room was clean and the minimal amenities were supplied. The free breakfast was served only until 9:30 on a Sunday, an earlier time than I usually experience at other hotels. It was very crowded at 9 AM and food was running out, so suggest going early. There was an odd, unpleasant odor throughout the lobby, halls and room. The elevator doors were timed to close almost immediately so be areful when exiting and entering! More than once, I was surprised. My husband uses a cane and moves slowly but this is the only hotel elevator that caused an issue in our 10 nights away.

Was told by the manager this location had electoral hook up for boats and trail with trail parking. On arrival to location this was not true. This was about one thing feeling up the hotel or the bottom line and not at all about costumer severs.

The Best Western we stayed at in Howe, Indiana is an excellent place to stay when traveling through Indiana on Interstate 80. the staff is friendly,food is great at breakfast. They met all my expectations.

This is my 2nd Best Western stay in two years. Each time I have SO appreciated the AquaGlass Corp tub that is 60" x 24" overall and about 22" wide. For an elder, this means I can take a tub bath and get out of the tub. The floor of the tub is so wide, I can bend my legs, get up on my knees and pull myself up by the bar provided.

easy access right off route 80. Very reasonable rate, nice bedding & a great shower. The breakfast was very satisfying. They had a huge lot so parking our Ford 150 with our 12 foot motorcycle trailer was not a problem. Would stay here again.

I have chosen to make Best Western+ the hotel to stay in each time I visit my elderly mother in a nursing home near by. The staff is always so friendly, day or night! It is convenient to get to and there are shopping centers and restaurants very near.

Very nice hotel. We stayed in a 2 room suite and it was very comfortable and roomy. It was quiet while we were there and the pool was clean and refreshing. Staff were very courteous and quickly provided for needs when asked. The location is easy and within 15-20 minutes of many area attractions.

This is the best Best Western I have ever stayed in. The location is great - right off the highway. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast has both variety and quality, unlike another Best Western I stayed at on this same trip (the bread seemed to have been made with sawdust there), and the breakfast room feels more like a restaurant than a cafeteria. The room was attractive and clean, and the price was reasonable. If you want a quiet room, ask to be in the back of the hotel which abuts a field (no parking). Further up State Road 9 are gas stations, shopping, and restaurants including Culver's (a treat for those of us from the east). I have stayed in this hotel before and I plan on staying there again when I drive to the Midwest and beyond.

We were driving cross country and just needed an affordable place to sleep. Nothing else. This hotel first got my attention with no negative comments on TripAdvisor. So the price was right, right on our route, so we reserved and stopped. This is not a fancy hotel, but serves the traveler well. The rooms were clean. The beds while not luxurious were clean. But the thing that got my attention was the breakfast. They actually had Udi's Gluten Free Bagels and muffins. Several other Gluten Free options available like yogurt. That made this better than any luxurious 5 Star for me. Good job BW+ in Howe.

This hotel is an excellent choice for the business traveler or for a family getaway. Great staff and clean rooms. The hotel is adjacent to the Indiana Toll Road making it easy to find. It is located in the heart of Indiana Amish country. This area provides many great family attractions.

The hotel was nice & clean for the most part. My only issue with cleanliness was the bathtub. It looked as if they did not clean it for at least several days, if not longer. It had a small amount of red mold in it below the shelves where the water runs off of the shelves during a shower, (the shelves that hold the soap and shampoo bottle). Other than that I had no other issues. I would stay there again.

Overall this place is pretty good. The continental breakfast seemed to have a lot of options and was yummy. Bathroom was nice and on the bigger side. The bed for some reason had to be one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept on at a hotel. There is a pool decent size indoor, but no hottub.

Road Trip at random and found this BW on Web site. Very Happy we did. Loved every part of our stay. I have stayed at several BW and am a Rewards member. I really do enjoy this advantage. They do have a very good program. Thou there are differences in other BW's

I was coming into Sturgis Mi for a family reunion- have stayed here every time- will recommend to all family members- front desk gentlemen helped me tremendously- he had my keys ready when I got there-will stay here again.

Driving south on M66 my GPS told me I had arrived but we almost missed the entrance, believing it was the entrance for a motel next door. It is actually a shared entrance and has a missable Best Western sign when you're looking at a more bold yellow sign for the neighbouring property. We arrived pretty early in the afternoon and checked-in while our RV was in for service work nearby. The receptionist was polite and attentive, advising us the room wasn't quite ready (but like I mentioned - we did get there early so no concerns from me on this). Instead, we opted to head off for a while and do some shopping. Again, on the return, I almost missed the BW entrance. The parking lot was pretty empty so I had no problem parking a full sized F350 dually. The room was clean and cool - a welcome from the heat and humidity of outside. It was spacious and we had a king bed, flat screen TV with cable, fridge and microwave. Tea & coffee making facilities were also in the room as were ironing facilities. The wall paper was starting to peel away at the top near the window and at the seams. The bathroom is spacious but a poor repair to the wall paper made this look shabby. Stains in the paper above the toilet didn't improve the look either. The shower/bath was itself clean and equipped with shampoo, conditioner, soap and moisturizer. Several times I came out to find the fire doors on the second floor stairs had been propped open - a code violation where I come from. Hopefully, this wasn't done by staff There is a pleasant indoor heated pool that was pretty quiet and provided a relaxing unwind before retiring for the night. Wi-Fi is included in the cost of the room as is breakfast served from 0600 - 0930. This consists of cereal, ham, omelette and sausage gravy. Toast, muffins, self cooked waffles, fruit and yoghurt. Juice, coffee and tea is also provided. Overall, a pretty good selection. Although this hotel is located close to the Interstate traffic noise was not audible - partly because of the soundproofing but also due to the AC and that I was toward the rear of the property. For a one night stay this room was Ok and we'd stay again if in the area.

I saw Road signs on the Toll Road: it became late and I needed a last minute room for a good night's sleep before getting back on the road. Breakfast & Coffee was a great start of the day! Clean & reasonable price. Hotel Staff very helpful with road conditions. BW is a good chain to be a frequent guest.

This is a really nice hotel! The room was very spacious with a couch. The room was clean and do was the bathroom the shower was great. There is also a free breakfast and the food was good! Everyone was friendly.

We have stayed here several times and the staff has always been very nice and accommodating. We like the recent updates to the rooms and breakfast area. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean.

I was on the road for eight days by the time I got here. Everything was good, from the breakfast to the cleanliness of the room. The service was pleasant and interacted with me. One thing that was dangerous for me is the rocky parking field that kicked rocks onto the driveway. Being on a motorcycle that is no fun. They should sweep them off.

Very welcoming hotel. Room was large and clean. Had a sitting area along with the large bed. Bathroom was large and clean. Free breakfast was very good. There is a heated pool there also. Good place to spend several days.

Friendly and helpful staff! Neat, clean lobby and breakfast area. Room was clean and comfortable. We asked staff for dinner recommendation and that was great too! I would definitely stay here again if traveling thru this area.

Pleasant stay. Staff very helpful. Elevator was down when we returned from an excursion. Third floor room would have been difficult for two 70+ guests. Staff spoke with workers at the elevator. The workers stopped what they were doing and took us to our floor. This was much appreciated.

The hotel was in a great location and it was clean and comfortable. Even though there was a trainee at the front desk, his trainer was aware and helped right away when the new hire stumbled. Both were personable and friendly. The staff suggested a local eatery for dinner, which I greatly enjoyed. Despite the proximity to the expressway, the room was very quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

Needed a hotel during our vacation. Arrived late so didn't eat in the area. Rooms were clean and breakfast had hot and cold options. Staff was friendly. Breakfast wasn't busy at 7AM on a Thursday morning. There is a shabby hotel next to it that you have to go through the parking lot when getting to this hotel.

Not much around Hotel,they had smaller rooms than many BW we have stayed at, good breakfast with a few hot options, quiet even though close to highway, ALOT closed on Sundays including restaurants in town, Applebee, Buffalo wild wings, Taco Bell and a few others are about 3 miles over boarder of MI. We stayed the night before the flea market which is huge and crowded but fun.

This is an ok property right along Interstate 80/90, which is nice, but no restaurants close by. You have to drive up into Sturgis, MI for a limited offering of sit-down options. Rooms were clean with good mattress. No excessive traffic noise. Very limited tv station line-up. Staff assigned a second floor room when obviously there is first floor availability. In ways like this they don't seek to accommodate you with anything special. All in all, an ok place to overnight, but nothing memorable about it.

Stayed here along our route of travel. We didn't arrive until law and checked out pretty early, but it was clean and quiet. Breakfast was decent with several options. Friendly staff at check in and check out.

I stay here on family business every few months. Always clean, quiet and dependable. A short drive to Shipsewana and Norte Dame , convienent to Toll Road. Rooms are clean, staff helpful. There are mane lakes and places to eat close by.

I travel for work and stay in a lot of places. Some of the smaller towns have been a trial. This was not. I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of both the facility and the staff. Thank you for making my trip easier.

Good old fashion service is what we received from start to finish. When we have another conference in Sturgis... I will be staying at this hotel! Thank you for having breakfast options for those of us who eat clean and healthy.

We're stayed here on our way back home from Gatlinburg Tennessee, and it was the best hotel of our entire trip! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel was nice and clean. If you are in the area I would recommend this place!

Our stay was nice. A few issues but nothing major. No coffee in one room, vending machines empty on all floors. Breakfast should last until 10. Overall the room was clean and the staff was friendly. Wish there had been a hot tub.

Clean comfortable hotel. Only stayed over night to sleep and move on..good breakfast and clean decor. Very convenient its right of toll rd but yet far enough you didn't hear the semi traffic from toll rd

My son and I stayed here one night. It was very clean, quiet, room was cute and updated, very easy access from I80, decent hot breakfast for a hotel and night staff was pleasant. Parking lot was shared with a somewhat downtrodden hotel but not a deterrent. Absolutely would stay here again. A plus - the beds were extremely comfortable. I am picky about my beds due to aches and pains and I would happily pick out this bed for my own house. Do be aware Indiana is currently constructing on I80, and about half the off ramps were closed. So where ever you stay this spring/summer make sure that ramp is actually open. Otherwise ramps are spread out 15-20 miles and it could be a huge pain to have to go out of your way.

Very nice hotel. Rooms were very clean and quiet. Had a refrigerator and microwave in the room. We had a King room. Very comfortable! Would definitely stay here again. Continental breakfast was good. Enough to choose from.

We were celebrating my 70th birthday and decided to spend sometime in the Shipshewana, Indiana area. We chose this hotel because it was only roughly 9 miles from the downtown. Very clean hotel with great staff. Although located near the Interstate 80/90 we had a very quiet night rest with no traffic noise. Hotel has a pool and complimentary breakfast. You won't be disappointed in a stay at this hotel.l

Clean modern well maintained hotel with a friendly helpful staff. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Nice quiet location allowing a good nights rest. The breakfast layout was nice and the hot food was hot and there was plenty. Definitely will stay here again in the future

I have stayed in Howe before at a competitor and tried to again but they were sold out so I decided to try this interesting property nearby. I am SO happy that I chose this option. Plenty of parking, easy check-in, free upgrade to Suite plus an outstanding breakfast all contributed to my complete satisfaction. I think this has now become my First Choice when I stay in this area. Tichiganblues

We went to Colon MI for a visit to the local magic shops and had a great time. We were 30 minutes from Howe and decided to stay there. The staff was friendly, helpful, even looking up a restaurant for us and the room was clean and well taken care of, even the hallways smelled nice. In the morning, breakfast was a nice variety of things to choose from. When we return to the area next year, we will stay there again.

All is in order at Howe Best Western for quiet, clean, comfortable stay. Desk clerk at evening was considerate and very helpful with physical unloading of luggage and local amenities...not many of those but easy to get to of highway, etc. Handicapped accessible room is fine.

We come in at this time every year. The staff always remembers us. Rather we have 3 rooms or ten. They are always very helpful. We have tried the Holiday Inn and the Hampton Inn and have found the Best Western much easier to deal with.

This is our hotel of choice when we travel to Wisconsin to see family every year. We never stay any other place. The cleanliness, quality, bed comfort, safety and top-notch customer service are exceptional. Every employee we have had the privilege of working with has been outstanding and always accommodating....if I could rate this hotel and their staff higher than a 10, I would.

This motel is the best near Shipshewana. Over the years we have tried a few but we have stayed here for the last 9 or 10 years. There is not one bad thing I can say. The people who work there are always over and above what you'd expect. The breakfast is great.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus in Howe for two nights for a school reunion. They were very helpful in reserving a block of rooms at a great price. The rooms were very nice, clean, with the best sleeping beds in a motel I've ever had.

Arrived at this location for an overnight over Labor Day after visiting Shipshewana, Indiana. This was a great location if you want to escape the crowd and noise that visit Shipshewana Amish area. Although this location was built in 2003 they have new updates since we visited last in the spring of 2010. The carpeting seems newer and the rooms have had the furniture and bathroom fixtures updated since our last visit. The breakfast area was relatively small for the size of the property and the breakfast hours for the free continental breakfast was open from 6am to 9:30am for those of you who are later risers. Checkout time was 12 noon which was later then typical for most hotels we have visited in the past. We were able to go into the indoor pool which was a nice size but we expected the water temperature to be a little warmer then it was for an indoor pool. Overall I would recommend this property for a night or two stay while visiting this area.

Tucked back next to a motel, off I-80/90 @Sturgis/Howe, this seemingly new hotel sits. Odd having to weave through a neighboring motel's parking lot to arrive there, but a clean, quiet room awaits. And that's really all that matters for us. A very generous breakfast was offereded. Although we don't use the pool when we travel, a lot of people were! Remodeling was going on, but did not interfere with guests. VERY NICE Front Desk! :-)

great location right off interstate, front desk was very helpful considering I had accidently booked for a different date. facilities and room were very clean. free breakfast had plenty of choice's. Bed and pillows were wonderful. Just what we needed for a nights rest before heading on.

The Best Western Plus in Howe, IN, right across the border from Sturgis MI is a decent place for an overnight stay. I think it might be a bit overpriced, but we only had the option of a suite, which included a hot tub, separate from the bathroom, in the same area with the bed, desk, etc. The room included the aforementioned hot tub, microwave, refrigerator and desk. The bath included a hair dryer and a coffee maker. We had a king-sized bed, Not bad, but nothing to write home about.

Comfortable and clean beds. Great easy chair to lounge. Large, clean bathroom. Pleasant staff. Fresh food at breakfast. Entrance to the hotel and its parking lot can easily be missed as it is shared with a motor lodge.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and staff very nice. Great place to stay if going to the Flea Market/auction in Shipshewana, IN (about 10 miles or less from flea mkt). Limited places to eat in Shipshewana but many more options close to the hotel.

Unlike some of the other reviewers, I did not think this was a five-star experience. It was a very good experience, just not five star. The front desk clerk was terrific. We arrived late and she had a line ahead of us but was fairly quick. The front desk area was small but clean. This is a modest hotel. The bathroom door was hollow and the lighting cheap. Some of the wallpaper was beginning to peel. But the room was very large. We got a suite and there was a door in between the bedroom and the sitting area. The sitting area was especially large. The room was clean, no nonsense, functional. Impressively, our room wrapped around the elevator shaft but we did not hear anything all night. Breakfast options were few but fairly standard – cereal, Instant oatmeal, premade sausages, omelettes, juice machine. There was a small selection of gluten-free food – a prepackaged blueberry muffin, bread and cereal. Tables in the breakfast area were small. All staff we interacted with were very nice.

Our loved one is in a nursing care facility in a nearby community. We live in California and have chosen BW because it gives us an opportunity to be able to relax, get a good night's rest and choices for meals nearby. All this within 5 miles of the nursing home. Very conveniently located and great staff!

Always have problems sleeping away from home. But not here. The bedding is amazing, the rooms and hotel are very clean. Hold your appetite for the breakfast. They have a wide variety of food. You will not go hungry.

We stay at this hotel whenever we go to the Shipshewana Flea Market. The services are excellent, and we are only about 20 minutes away from the flea market. The best part is that the price is about 2/3rd's of what we would pay for a motel in Shipshewana itself.

Very comfortable. Stayed here on our travels to visit family. Convient to interstate 80/90. This is BW Plus, room was great for our stop over. Good breakfast room. Very sufficient breakfast choices. Would stay here again.

We had a great time while staying in the motel. I took advantage of the free computer and internet service, since we found the wifi to be very slow and cumbersome. The parking and the pool were good as well. The staff that manned the counter were more than helpful from having extra towels to opening up the vending machine when the coin dispenser didn't work.

This hotel has a nice pool and a nice business center. We used the computers in the business center and the pool. The hot breakfast was nice in the morning. The staff was very nice and very attentive. They were very helpful when the TV wouldn't work in the room.

We could not go where we usually book an inn, but found this a few miles away from our usual exit at Elkhart. This inn is much better than where we used to stay. It was quieter. The bed and pillows were more comfortable. The breakfast was as good or better. (Definitely the coffee was MUCH better.) The down side was fewer restaurants nearby, but Sturgis , Mi was only 5 minutes north and had restaurants open late. It was a little more expensive than the other place, but worth it.

After keeping our choices limited to cost, and dealing with subpar rooms, this was a refreshing change. For just a bit more than we had been paying during this trip, we had comfortable sleeping for 2 adults and 3 children and access to an indoor pool. The breakfast, which was rated on Expedia as above average, was not impressive, but also not enough to rate this hotel as anything less than excellent.

We were pleased with our entire stay of 6 days. The room was clean and spacious. Enjoyed a hot breakfast everyday with good variety. Breakfast was always ready earlier than the listed time of 6. We were surprised that we never heard any noise from the hall or other rooms even though the hotel was very full most nights of our stay. Internet was fast. The staff was helpful and pleasant. We will stay there again when we get in the area.

This hotel was a perfect starting point for various southern Michigan and northern Indiana ventures. The room was very clean, nothing extravagant, but well suited for a couple or family looking to travel. The staff was helpful/informed on the area's activities. We went for a polish festival and ended up with a bunch of other things to occupy our time. This was the only hotel with 4+ reviews and it was worth the extra money. The only downside was that the pool was very small, but if you're in the area then it's most likely you have something other to do than lounge around the pool.

Hotel was very nice and clean. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Room and bathroom were very nice sized. A/C could be easily adjusted for comfort. Pool looked good, but didn't use it. Front desk people were hospitable. Breakfast was OK.

This hotel is clean, the rooms are very comfortable, with a table with two chairs, a very comfortable sitting chair, bedding was great, rooms have a good sized fridge and microwave. The breakfast has many choices and the food was awesome. The staff was extremely nice.

Great deal, nice staff, excellent family atmosphere, it was the half way stop on our trip to Chicago, nice place to stop and get refreshed for the continued journey to G-Fest! My son and I will be stopping there next year.

This hotel was right off interstate 80 and very easy to find.We checked in late, got in our room in no time flat, and had a very pleasant night sleep. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean.

Staff very accommodating even though we arrived early , they checked us in anyway after going to check if a room was available. The room was clean comfortable for the 4 of us. We enjoyed the pool in the evening after being at the flea market in the heat of the day. Breakfast had a variety for everyone's taste. We all enjoyed the strong coffee. Even though we have come to shipshewana before this was our first at this hotel, very convenient to get on expressways and plenty of places to eat around. If we come again we will definitely stay here.

My husband and I were on a road trip. We had looked this hotel up prior to leaving and the reviews were good, so we planned on staying here on our way. We checked in very late, and the young man at the front desk was very helpful. Our room was one of the cleanest we have EVER stayed at. We were up early to get back on the road. The morning staff lady was so nice, she chatted with us about where we were headed, and although it looked great,we passed on breakfast as she was still preparing it. We did grab coffees and headed out. Great stay, great staff and Cleanliness gets a 10!

This is just an okay property, better choices out there. Not a good value. I hate BW on line check in. They are in the process of putting renovated properties under the BW program and some do not meet their standards. I have stayed at many BW's that are a good value. Had to determine unless there is a large number of reviews.

This is a great place to stay for individuals or families. The pool was very clean and comfortable. We spent several hours in the pool. The room was clean and everyone was very polite and willing to help. We would stay there again. It was close to Shipshewana and shopping.

CLEAN. Quiet. Well priced. Very happy. Television selection was excellent. You couldn't beat this place for value. You just can't. Our room was on the second floor and we heard no traffic or outside noise. Surprising since it was near enough to I80. Parking was generous.

When going to Shipshewana, we enjoy staying at this hotel, it's nice and quiet at night and it is within 10 minutes of the shops in Shipshewana. It is right off the expressway easy to get to, and is close to everything.

Checked in and room was not cleaned. Front desk immediately changed our room, no questions asked Pool was nice, although water seemed cold when I put my foot in to check it. Variety of breakfast items, hot and cold.

I have stayed at this location many nights the past several years taking care of family business. It is always clean and inviting. Located off the Toll Road easy on and off. Staff is always helpful and available. I have never been diissapointed.

My husband and I travel on business several days each month, and we've stayed in countless mid-priced hotels all across the country. Our experience at the Best Western Plus Howe Inn was great. Grace, the manager, takes great pride in her work, and the entire staff is very welcoming and attentive. The rooms are clean and have all the needed amenities, the beds are super comfy, and the fully equipped fitness center was a nice surprise. Be sure to grab a bite at Howe Restaurant just a few miles down the road for some good home cooking.

We stayed one night on a roadtrip along the turnpike and found this hotel to be a great value. While the surrounding area was a little shady, it seemed safe overall and the inside of the hotel and price made up for the exterior. The rooms were clean, and beds were comfortable and newish. The free continental breakfast wasn't the best thing ever, but it was certainly passable and we had plenty to eat before getting back on the road.

We have stayed here for about 5 years in a row. Very clean,friendly staff....good breakfast. Rooms are comfy....and kept up. I am very picky and was very pleased. I check out the bathrooms first for cleanliness....they have passed 100% of the time. Great manager.

Everything was excellent with an experienced staff. I have stayed at this hotel for at least 12 weeks straight. There was a smoker below my room. I complained and the staff handled it with my complete satisfaction. If you like European Coffee then Best Western Plus Howe has it - Douwe Egberts

The check in process was a little slow,but she was busy. The parking area for trucks and vehicles pulling a trailer could be improved. Breakfast was a bit congested,but the hotel had a lot of guests. The quantity and quality of the food was good.

This was a clean, quiet, very well run facility operated by home folk. While I had trouble receiving the Internet, steps were made to correct the problem. The breakfast was quite adequate after a quiet night's sleep.

Stayed there a couple nights for work and was pleasantly surprised. Considering the area, it looks kinda scary on the outside. The room was very clean. The bed and pillows were super comfy and had a good breakfast.

This hotel does need some updating when you compare it to other hotels. But it is very clean and that is what matters most on our list. The staff is very helpful and nice. You do pay less for this hotel but you do get an older model and hard bed. but again remember it is clean.

We always stay at this Best Western when in town. Like the fact that this facility is non-smoking and the rooms are always clean, fresh smelling, and appealing. Each time we have stayed here we have never had a problem with something breaking down or not working, the owners take very good care of this property. Compared to other motels that we have stayed at, this Best Western is top notch!

Staff is professional and helpful. The hotel was easy to access from the highway and was extremely clean. We are frequent travelers and can say this is one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on in a hotel. The free breakfast was the typical fare found at hotels that offer this as a service. Would HIGHLY recommend this Best Western.

The beds were comfortable, breakfast was good, the staff was nice and the hotel was clean. This was a great sleep. When we come through here again, we will probable stay here again. I am so glad we stopped at this hotel.

We were driving to Canton,Ohio from Wisconsin. The wife made me stop driving in the middle of the night. I was going to drive straight thru. Guess who won that argument???? So we stopped at 4:45 am and thought we would sleep for 3-4 hours and shower and go. I thought maybe they would give us some kind of a deal. I have triple A, I am a member of thier hotel rewards chain, and still paid full price. Wasn't about the money but just thought a deal should have been given. So we slept and showers and we're back on the road 4 hours later. Room was clean and the bed was super comfy. Had they given me a deal I would have rated this place 5 stars. Easy to get to off the highway and easy to get back on.

First time ever staying here and was very satisfied. Only issue was a noise in the heat cycle every 8 min. Did disrupt sleep somewhat. Breakfast bar was good and plenty of a variety to satisfy most people.

The staff was friendly and courteous. I got everything I needed for a one-night stay. I was in the middle of a long trip and needed to get off the highway at some point. This hotel provided a convenient location for me to get what I needed prior to moving on.

Stopped here during bad weather while traveling back to Nebraska from Pennsylvania. Helpful staff, not too expensive, and very clean. Very comfortable bed. They offer wired internet as well as WiFi, which is nice and you don't see too often.

this is always my hotel of choice when I am in town. My room is always impeccably clean, the beds are comfortable and breakfast is consistent. The staff always greets with a smile. I always feel like a welcomed guest.

The hotel was clean with many amenities that benefit the customers. We really enjoyed our stay at this Best Western. This hotel is right off the interstate and is easy to get too. I really enjoyed the breakfast, and the clean rooms and pleasant time we had.

this hotel was excellent in everything, location, cleanliness, breakfast, especially the receptionist on front desk were very kind and devoted. i love this hotel and i'll stay the Best Western on my next trip.

This is the third time at this place and for a 1/2 way drive point you could not ask for a easier place to find and a great place to calm down. For the next days start out you need not scramble around to find a place for breakfast. They serve a great selection to start your day. Not bad for a included meal. Giving you more time to ease into your day. We will do this stop again. We also have found this chain to be consistent through out many other locations. Great place to be for a no hassle stop over.

Very pleased with this hotel. Found this hotel very clean, comfortable and convenient. Staff was very helpful. Chose this hotel at random and will remember it for future stays. Also served a very good breakfast. The price on this hotel was very reasonable.

I was traveling in area and needed a place to stay. I walked in and booked a room but was not aware of the room rate. Found it to be more expensive than where I normally stay, but rooms were nice, clean and quiet. Bed was very comfortable. Other than being a little pricey, it was a very nice place to stay and if I needed a place to stay in the area again, I would definitely stay here again.

Everything great, would recommend highly! After having to leave a nearby hotel infested with bugs, this place was a blessing. It is clean, up to date and very comfortable! Service and breakfast was wonderful!

One of the best, if not best Hotel experiences we have had. Exceptional property all the way around. We stayed at this Best Western for a local family wedding and were so satisfied that it blew me away. No surprises here...

Pleasant and quiet stay but the entrance to this fine hotel is a negative. Having to drive through the parking lot of the"less than desirable" hotel next to this hotel makes you second guess yourself if you should stay. This is the only entrance and or exit available. Drivers have to use the entrance and exit through this blighted area which provides a real negative image for this better than average hotel.

The hotel is brand new and was done very well. The staff is great and you can tell they take great care of this new facility and their customers. Their attitude was great and they were very friendly. They were very knowledgeable of the area for local restaurants.

The Employees were great and went out of their way to look things up on their computer for me. The breakfast was really good with lots to choose from and they have a nice indoor pool. Room was very nice with a good sized Refrigerator and Microwave. Comfy bed with several pillows to choose from. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

Hotel clean,people very friendly,nice place to stay.Breakfast was sufficent.Location is easy access to highway .We only stayed as we were traveling through to Chicago.Would reccommend hotel for what we experienced

We found ourselves in an awful rain storm and decided to best pull off the road and get into a safe harbor. We were delighted to see the Best Western sign from the highway and they didn't disappoint us.

We stayed here when coming to a Notre Dame Football game and it was clean and really wonderful. The breakfast was nicely laid out and really complete and the rooms were really big and clean. Overall a very good value and experience.

Our check in was fast and pleasant. . Room was very clean and comfy. We spent the first of 2 days going to Shipshewana flea market just a short drive away through country roads and Amish farms. Would recommend this hotel location for that destination. The hotel location is a little lean on places to eat , but Shipshewana has very good options for eating lunch or dinner plus lots of shopping . Hotel breakfast was mediocre, but the overall quality or our stay was just short of excellent !
