    « Ok stay »

This hotel is the best the Hardy has to offer. Check in was fine - owner checked us in and she was nice. Rooms are older and very very dated. I think the bathroom tub had been replaced. Room had a flat screen which was nice. Queen bed was horrible - like sleeping on a water bed. Room was clean.

    « Great stopover spot! »

Very comfortable and quiet for my sleepover stop. Nice hot shower! Surrounding shops and dining establishments were unique and enjoyable. Even got to hear LIVE music with my meal at local dining spot. Beautiful scenery in this area.

« Very clean and comfortable »

Although the outside looks older, the rooms have all the conveniences expected in a hotel. It's comfortable and very clean. A breakfast is provided and hot delicious coffee is available in the lobby all day and night. It's an excellent value.

« Probably as good as it gets in town »

We were passing through on our way home from our AR trip. Not many places to stay in town, so we opted with this Best Western. It's tucked under/next to the highway, so the road noise is minimized. Very small, more motel like than hotel like. Service was minimal. There was no one staffed there overnight or in the morning. The "continental breakfast" was literally just frozen biscuits, frozen pancakes sitting out, and frozen egg patties and frozen sausage patties in the fridge for you to heat up in the microwave. And some store bought mini-muffins. Not sure why they even bother. The room was okay, but definitely needed some updating. Bed and pillows were sub-par.

Came on an exchange program to Hardy and the Best Western Village Inn is always my choice, hands down. Great place, great staff, great stay. What more can I say. Very peaceful for studies too. Hopefully someday I will be able to play some instead of just studies.

    « Clean and Comfortable »

Best Western Village Inn in Hardy, AR was just what we were looking for and needed during a recent weekend stay. The motel, though slightly dated, was beautifully maintained, clean, comfortable, and the staff friendly, helpful and accommodating! Hardy's a small town but the Best Western is the perfect choice and will ALWAYS be our choice of lodging the next time we're there!

    3
    « BE ADVISED »

Not much to choose from in this area. This is an older motel, but kept in reasonable condition. I would rate it as ok for the money if you need to stay in this area. No great plus or minus. The TV picture was terrible. They need to upgrade to satellite or dish.

    4
« Nice hotel. Location excellent »

You can tell this is a very nice hotel. Very clean. Staff friendly. It was just our one night stay was not that great because the TV/Internet service was down. The price was also a little high considering that fact. We would definitely go back though. This one time inconvenience would not stop us from going again. In our book, Best Western is the best.

    5
    « Location, Location, Location »

I was really lucky to find this BW...We planned on a few activities in the area, and the location was perfect for out trip....Staff friendly, room clean, everything worked as expected. We wil visit this property again.

« worst stay at a best western hotel »

the manager was very discourteous we had a computer glitch that messed up reservations she said to bad pay up or get out would not help us in any way the breakfast was terrible the eggs tasted like rubber cheddar cheese the bisquits must have been a week old the juice machine was broken over all a bad experiance

    « Scenic Route Experience »

We love the experience of the mountains and river at different places. Hardy Arkansas is one of the many places we like to go to for our exploration trips. This little Best Western is the perfect place to stay at when in Hardy. It really gives the feel of being in the Foothills of the Ozarks. Management and staff are always so hospitable.

    4
« Good Stay, Very Nice Staff »

Room was clean, bed was a little older but comfortable. WIFI worked great, amenities were all nice. Quick access to Hardy or Cherokee Village. Had some late conversations outside my room but they quieted down by 11:00

« Great for a hot weekend in Hardy »

Hotel was perfect for what we needed. It was nice to be able to sleep in a clean, air conditioned room instead of tent camping. There are not many options in Hardy, but this is worth the money! We would definitely stay here again.

    5
    « Keeps getting better »

I have been staying at this motel for the past 3 yrs and average over 20 nights per year. The Management and her staff have continued to improve this facility. New vanities in the bathrooms, new carpet in rooms, many improvements to the breakfast selection and presentation, paint and signage outside, etc. I have stayed at all the other motels in the Hardy area and this motel is the best value for a comfortable, quiet nights sleep. It is older and a little dated but the rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable and the staff is very accommodating.

    4
    « Really nice »

Clean room, movie channels, a/c was running in room when we arrived, nice pool, really great staff, and a good breakfast also! 4 stars because lots of movement and noise from other guests. But other than that very happy with our stay!

    5
    « Weekend Get A Way »

First time to stay here. It was a very nice hotel and we will be staying here. Excellent staff, clean, simple rooms. Easy check in and out. They have an indoor pool and patio with grills. Would recommend for anyone looking to have a stay in Hardy.

    5
« Pleasant visit and great food »

Called in from the road and requested a room. The manager was very kind and helpful. Check in was painless and we were informed of the quick check out process as well. Overall the beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean, the shower was hot, and the food was phenomenal. The service staff was very friendly and the cost was affordable. I would stay here again.

    5
    « Staff »

The staff, from the manager all the way to the maid service was extremely good!!! The room was very clean and neat. Check in and check out was fast and very professional. I would highly recommend this motel.

    3
    « BW Cherokee Village »

Nice staff; room smelled like cheap air freshner; only 1 small bar of soap for room that slept 4 - shower soap dispensers only had little in them. TV did not work, but staff nice to get it going. It is located on a hill and kind of difficult getting out onto highway. Best breakfast sausage compared to the Choice hotels I stayed at on same vacation.

    « Sylvia »

Always a great place to stay. Service is excellent and everyone is so nice. Rooms are clean and pleasant. The pool is nice and clean and very refreshing. The offer pool towels if you didn't bring any. Its location is close to everything we like to do. Float the Spring River, movies, dining, zip lining, horseback riding.

    « arkansas trip »

It was a nice clean place and the staff were very nice and helpful! The only issue we had was the toilet not flushing properly. The flap needed to be adjusted. I would recommend this hotel for the price, location and cleaniness

    5
    « Great stay »

Friendly staff. Clean rooms, and great breakfast. Our extended family had gathered in the middle of no where to honor family members on Memorial Day. The Best Western Hotel was a gem to find in the hills of the Ozarks.

    5
« Nice Best Western in Hardy, Arkansas »

This is a beautiful little town at the edge of the Ozarks. This Best Western, like all of them, is independently owned, and the owner checked me in at the desk. She has owned it 15 years. A very nice place!

    4
« You can tell they are really working on it. »

After driving 12 hours we were tired and i was stressed because this hotel did not have good reviews. Everything was very clean. Brand new shower curtain. New lamps. The motel (yes that is what it is) is old and doors and doorframes could use replaces, but it is just to sleep. Good breakfast and wifi. Nice pool. Great job

    3
    « Eh, it's a place to sleep. »

We were traveling across country and needed a place to stop on the cheaper side. This was a good spot. Bed was comfortable enough. Service is...eh. Two complaints. The woman at the front desk said at check-in "Make sure she [my wife] gives me a 9 or 10 on the survey, nothing lower." Well we don't normally do surveys, but I feel like this alone constitutes an 8. And then we met this fella the next morning. Still, might stay here again, but only if I can't find something better after spending more time searching.

    4
« Good Best Western Hotel »

Good and clean rooms, slept very well (maybe others don't like to soft matrasses but I like) - when I arrived the woman at the reception was very friendly. Internet in the room was good and fast enough too.

    3
« Nice for the area »

This was a stop-over on the road. I just chose it for the location. As a motel, that was different from what I've seen for a while. It was clean and the breakfast was nice. difficult to put my finger on exactly what it was, but it was more than I expected for a little town in Arkansas.

    2
    « Mis-leadeing »

When we booked the trip, we put in the notes that we had a dog. Best Western, noted it was pet friendly. No restrictions were listed. When we got to the hotel, they refused to give us a room because we were told that there was a 25 lb. size restriction on pets, and our dog is an 85 lb. lab. The clerk on the front desk apologized, but said that it was the owner's decision and not hers. With that, we left and had no other choice but to return home. I liked the looks of the hotel, but were not given the chance to find out. This restriction needs to be up-front , not something you find out after you have made plans and arrived.

    1
    « Bad Experience »

This is a run down 60s travel motel in a hole in the ground. The desk clerk wanted me to pay again after I had paid on the Internet. He had been sitting outside smoking pot when I arrived and reeked of it. He said he didn't know how the computer system worked. He didn't really care. Avoid this place.

    5
« A piece of heaven, hidden in plain sight »

The hotel was a pleasant resting stop, with a wonderful owner manager; with a commitment to making her hotel and community a beautiful place to visit and enjoy. And, indeed Hardy Arkansas is one of those unexpected oasis's in the desert of road trips. The scenery and locale are outstanding, with all sorts of communing with nature possible. But wait, there are also great eating experiences conveniently located within the area and Oh the quaint shops in the turn of the century (19th ) town Main Street. Truely, a place in the road where one can spend an entire vacation and leave refreshed and ready to return to the normal.

« enjoyed my stay, has every thing needed, clean, peaceful »

out dated but clean, great breakfast with plenty to choice from, budget hotel worth the price. I would stay again when I go back to hardy to visit family. stayed 2 nights and parking was great. nice bed and sheets, quiet

    « Ozark Cool Waters! »

Love the Ozarks! Perfect getaway from my medical schedule. Hardy and the surrounding cities are really beautiful places to visit from the usual buzzing city life. I enjoy the river even though it's too cold this time of the year.

    3
    « Decent accommodations »

There are not a lot of motels and hotels to stay at in Hardy, Ark. Choices are limited but the room was clean but decor a bit outdated. The staff was helpful but the breakfast choices a bit limited. Would stay again.

    5
« Stories of the Ozarks »

What better place to stay in the Ozarks when one wants to write and tell stories of the Ozarks!! Love this quaint little town and the Best Western Village Inn and its' staff surely are a good reason to return again and again. My stay is always memorable with every trip because of the excellent service and warm welcome I receive from the management and staff. Even the people of Hardy are so friendly!

    4
    « Excellent Value »

I was very nervous about choosing a hotel I had never been to before and all the reviews I read online were just average so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. The lady at front office was so kind and helpful. The room was immaculate and offered all the amenities we needed. The bed was comfortable. I honestly couldn't believe the room was as nice as it was for the price.

    5
    « Study Group »

A group of us medical students come to the area to study and this Inn is the perfect place for us. Nice and quiet with very little traffic noise. We combine a bit of touring with our studies. It really is our library with group studying.

    5
    « Ozark Lover »

Anytime of the year in the Foothills of the Ozarks works for me. A perfect getaway from buzzing and busy New Orleans. The staff are great and always willing to make my stay better. Never felt so welcome anywhere else.

    5
    « Book Writing »

I love visiting rural towns to write about life in these areas. Amazing to experience life in the countryside with the benefits of modern technology. Best Western Village Inn is the perfect place for me to express my experience and share with others. The staff enjoy proof-reading my work and correct me too.

    5
    « Ozark Lover »

I frequent Hardy, AR several times a year and my choice is always the Best Western Village Inn. A place hidden away from the highway where it is very peaceful. Love the tranquility after working in New Orleans. Nature remains untouched here and shows the natural beauty which is forgotten in the usual hustle and bustle of our busy lives.

    1
« This hotel was disgusting »

The first night there I found a dead spider behind the TV, and the Internet cable was broken and didn't work. The walls looked like they had been painted by monkey's. If you can afford something else don't stay here.

  • 2
« Not worth your money »

It had been raining and the entrance and parking lot were standing in water that you had to wade through to get to the office and the room. The carpet was stained in several places. We had a small dog with us so I called the desk to report the stains so they wouldn't think we did it. They said they were aware of the stains. The shampoo dispenser in the shower was empty and there was no tissue dispenser. The bed was very uncomfortable. At the continental breakfast, the Half & Half creamers were old and soured and made us ill.

    4
    « Clean/quiet hotel »

Hotel is located close to highway with railway on back side. Noise was not noticed with in room AC running. Hotel is an older one that hasn't been totally updated although check in area was neat and clean. Good place to stay for the money if your not wanting to spend high dollars for a place to rest. Staff makes you feel welcome and are very helpful with the area and antique stores nearby.

    5
    « 2012 review retake »

In 2012 we were moving out of Arkansas. We needed a room that allowed a LG dog in a crate and 2 small dogs so we could finish packing. When we came back to the room I looked for my wedding rings where I thought I had put them. Regretfully I reacted poorly and accused the Staff of taking them. A month later after unpacking I found the rings. I want to apologize to the manager and the staff. I should have called them right away. The manager was so understanding and nice when I finally did get in touch with her today. I highly reccomend this motel.....and the staff.

    2
    « Skip It »

Very nice location in the hills of N. Arkansas. Outside looks good with some interesting landscaping BUT then the room: dirty carpet, disgusting human stuff on wall and then the breakfast: few eggs, no juice, few choices of breakfast items and no one around to help or even check the breakfast room.

    5
    « Doc Trip »

I go to Hardy at least once a month for a medical exchange assignment and always stay at the Best Western Village Inn. It was by chance that I discovered this hotel. Initially I went there looking for the Village Inn Restaurant and found that this is actually a hotel. The management and staff are always so welcoming and accommodating that the Best Western Village Inn is my only choice in Hardy.

    4
« High level for a basic hotel »

First of all we had two rooms and they were both clean. Perhaps recent reviews that were otherwise have been paid attention to. Steph's very very interested in being helpful. A few observations. First the entire backside of the hotel was very dark. I realize electricity is expensive but lights are security and comfort for guests. If the hotel would simply install LED bulbs the cost of electricity would not be an issue. Parking is challenging if you have a truck and trailer or large vehicle. Breakfast is very basic but adequate. Price was reasonable and I got appropriate value for the price I would consider staying here next I'm coming through Hardy. But management can do some very basic things to improve the stay for guests

    2
    « Hasn't improved »

Stayed here 5 years ago before renovations. Looks okay on the surface, but still has cockroaches! One was crawling on the side of the bed in the morning. Breakfast bar was skimpy with out-of-date food. Doors not secure. Has a flimsy chain instead of double dead bolt. Strawberry Air Freshener gagged me and set off my sinuses. Had to sleep with sheet over my face. Glad we only had to stay one night.

    2
    « Not very good »

Haven't stayed at Best Western in a while. This particular one was not very good. Worst bed ever, shower/hot water not working, dead bugs on the floor. Good thing we don't go that direction often! Won't go back.

    3
    « OKAY BUT »

We originally booked here for three nights and arrived in the late afternoon the staff were friendly and the rooms were small but clean, the motel was old looking and sits in a cut bank along the highway and was busy with many railroad workers staying here, the parking area was very congested and we just did not feel comfortable here so we moved the next day,the motel were very gracious and did not give us any hassle about moving. This place has a great breakfast with the first automatic pancake machine that I have ever seen.

    3
« You get what you pay for »

Old and tired, dirty floors and walls in bathroom. Average continental breakfast. Comfy beds though. A little nervous about the tub. If you are looking for economy....this is your place. Pleasant staff.

    « Poetry Perfect »

I enjoy my visits to Hardy, where I can enjoy the natural beauty of Arkansas and concentrate on my writing skills. I love writing poetry and my forte is poetry. So needless to say, what better place than Hardy? The flowing river, with its cool, refreshing water is just music to my ears. The rustling of the leaves and twigs squeaking under your feet take me back to my childhood. Thank you Hardy, for allowing me to go back in time!

    3
« Acceptable if not Notable »

This is a very old hotel that ahs not always been kept up. It is clean, but worn. I guess for a small out of the way tourist site, it's about what you would expect. Not bad, not anything to write home about.

    2
« Old Hotel needs maintainence »

Shower barely drained, we had to take a shower in about 2-3 in of water. We reported the issue and they did nothing about it. The drain was still nearly fully clogged the next day. Room had bugs that walked right in on the unsealed entry door, that you can see about a 1/4in day light on the edges. The bed sagged in the middle. The carpet was dirty with stains and bugs. My computer software stated that the internet connection was Malicious and it was trying to direct my computer to a malicious website. So I didn't use the internet while I stated there. What more can I say?

    4
    « Nice stay »

Despite reviews here, I booked a room here not expecting much. I arrived and was welcomed by very nice lady who checked me in. I was able to park right outside my room. My room was single queen but plenty big for me. It is a little outdated, but very clean and bed was super comfortable. Has fast internet (even in the farthest room from the office), good sized TV/cable, coffee maker, microwave, fridge (however was off when I arrived and never got cold enough for the evening), small but clean bathroom and excellent air conditioner (I like my rooms super cold). Pool was small but kids were having a blast. Breakfast was a lot better than I expected. They have a machine that makes fresh pancakes by pushing a button and lots of other options. Much better than other small motels I've stayed at. As for places to eat that are close: There is a BarBQ place about half mile away that was packed, a Mongolian grill about a mile away that is supposed to be great and some fast food places in the same area. The motel sits nearly underneath the highway but heard no highway noise and almost felt nestled from the world. Glad I chose this spot and will definitely be back.
