Excellent place to stay 5 stars!!! We were in town for a basketball tournament. We had never been to Jackson, Mississippi before. Found the Best Western through search engine. What a wonderful place!! Check in was quick, gentlemen was very nice who handle our stay. The room was immaculate, beds were very comfortable, and air conditioning work great. Complimentary breakfast was the best I every had at any hotel chain. The guy kept it well stocked and very clean. I would definitely be staying here again if I am back in the area again!!! Also, it will make me look at Best Westen Plus hotel again for other trips. I wish I had gotten their names to send a shout-out personally! But thank you again for a great stay!!! You exceeded my expectations!!!

This was a great hotel experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was immaculate and contained lovely lemon-scented soap, shampoo and lotion. The hot breakfast was tasty and filling. A+++!

Convenient location off main highway. We picked this hotel as a stopover on a long road trip. Tracey at the front desk was an efficiency expert as maybe 10 people arrived for checkin at the same time. The lobby and halls have a dated look, but our suite was clean and quiet. The breakfast selection was plentiful, and the attendant there did a great job keeping the room tidy. This is what $100 buys you in central Mississippi these days. These high hotel prices are a bain to travelers.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were very comfortable and clean .I will difenly be staying again we enjoyed the breakfast the food was hot and fresh area was very clean my days there were extremely good

Our one night stay was nice, but we had a problem that was resolved by the manager. The front desk staff was very kind and professional. The breakfast area was very clean and the food was hot and fresh.

We have stayed at this hotel several times while visiting our granddaughters. It is clean, well taken care of, and the staff is very friendly. Although the decor is slightly dated, it does not detract from the experience of staying there. The breakfast bar is well stocked with a good variety of items; they have new automatic coffee and pancake machines that are really neat to use!

The hotel was in a good area, we felt safe. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable. Good breakfast, plenty to eat, especially if you don't have dietary restrictions. We stayed here twice, we liked it that much. Close to airport. Close to restaurants. Plenty of stores not too far away. Reasonable rates.

First time staying at this property and I had a great experience. The location was quiet and the breakfast was wonderful, providing many options for even the choiciest eater. Will definitely return on subsequent trips!

Great service and friendly check in with Tracy she is always so helpful and pleasant. The bed is comfortable in the areas quiet. Convenient to eateries around the area walking distance. The pool is small, but enjoyable. The room attendants are so friendly and willing to help. I overall recommend.

I was very pleased when I checked in on September 23,2023.I was very ill and the front desk clerk talked with her manager and I was able to check in early.I thank them for that because I would have ended up in the ER without some much needed rest from the traveling and I was already not feeling my best.

This is by far my favorite BW to stay at across the country, and I have been to many. The staff ALL know me on a first name basis. Sam, Tracye, and Calvin are always smiling! The breakfast is something else too. If you visit you must try the biscuits with sausage gravy. EXCELLENT. I was there on business trip but anyone looking for a chance to enjoy some golf to take a break from work, look at the public course The Refuge. It's less than 5 minutes away and is very nice. Its on the outskirts of Flowood and away from the city enough to make you forget what your there for.

If you needed it they staff would accommodate it. No hassle,very friendly staff. I was very comfortable at this hotel.I would recommend to friends and family. I will probably make this place of stay from now on when visiting this city.

Nice facility! Clean and smells nice. Breakfast has variety on different days. I stay almost exclusively at Best Westerns and this by far is the best I've stayed in the last year. The staff was super friendly and attentive.

Great place to stay staff were great very helpful and efficient. Breakfast was great and the room was very clean. Would highly recommend this place if you are staying in flowood, overnight or for an extended stay.

My room was clean, staff was friendly and the breakfast was amazing. I enjoyed the indoor pool. Noise level was great even though there were several youth teams staying at the hotel at the same time. I would stay here again.

Hotel is excellent place to stay when traveling. Room was clean and up to date. I have stayed here in the past while working in the area but didn't remember having to pay $160 for the room. But overall excellent hotel.

Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean. Super comfortable beds. Best breakfast ever. Very good location. Will stay again. Only con is the pool. Though beautiful, is very seasonal. Even though it is "indoors", it has 3 large decorative windows that are open to the outdoors.

You can't bring pets. That should improve but we wouldn't have been bringing ours anyway due to my son having surgery but the discount for that was nice. Just bring proof from your doctor and you get the discount. The stay both times we stayed were great. That's why we came back and used the same place.

Comfortable and clean hotel. Very nice full breakfast. Clean cafe. I will definitely stay at this hotel when passing through Jackson. The only negative thing I could say about this place is that the coffee was not strong enough, but that is really not a justified complaint :)

We spent six nights here while in the area to visit family. We were made to feel very welcome and everyone who dealt with us was very friendly. The decor is a little dark and dated, but our room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was also clean. There was a good choice for breakfast, including cereal, oatmeal, juice, toast, pastries, fruit, pancakes and a selection of hot food such as bacon, sausages and eggs each morning. As is usual in hotels in the US, disposable plates and cutlery were used, which is a negative when we should all be doing more to protect the environment. There is a small area in the foyer where you can buy snacks, water, drinks etc, which was useful and a gas station across the street, with a larger selection. The fridge and microwave in the room were also useful.

The rooms are very clean and nice! Breakfast hot and ready .check in is fast and easy safe we'll lit location , food within walking distance. I would stay at this location every time I'm in the area and recommend you do as well .

We always enjoy staying at this hotel in Mississippi. It's always very clean, the breakfast is good and it's right next-door to the pool where we swim! All of the employees are pleasant and friendly, especially the older lady at the front desk. She remembers us from previous visits! And wish the kids good luck!

This place is excellent. They have clean water! The front desk were so nice and welcoming. All the staff were super great. The beds were comfortable. Rooms was clean and the a/c worked great! Tr breakfast had a very good variety of items. Most enjoyable stay!!

The service is outstanding at this location. This was the second time we were guests in this hotel and it has been a consistent favorite for us. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated with thoughtful amenities.It was quiet and comfortable and allowed a good night's rest. Breakfast was quick, plentiful, and very good. Folks were very nice.

Stayed here one night. This property appears to be rather new and is well-maintained. Everything in my room was clean, and worked, including wi-fi. Access to I-20 was not difficult, although it is more than a mile from the hotel. Hospitality here was a bit hit-or-miss as some staff members were quite friendly, and others indifferent. While not an issue, this is not what I've come to see typically at BW Plus locations.

Great place to stay, wonderful friendly staff from early morning phone onsite reservationists, late evening check in clerk and again from morn8ng checkout clerk... WIN WIN STAFF 3 out of 3... I was impressed.. I would without a doubt recommend Best Western Plus Flowood....

I wish we didnt have to give 200 words for this to post. Our stay was good, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was acceptable. Our only complaints are the pancake machine didnt cook the pancakes enough, they were still a little doughey and they didnt have Hazel creamer. No real biggies!

Great stay, the receptionist Ms Tracey was absolutely awesome. She was the best customer service & smile. Very kind & professional. Great location, nice atmosphere & very convenient for eating & shopping

We stayed here for 4 nights. This is a very well-run hotel, with friendly staff who know what they are doing. It is clean and fresh, with daily room cleaning. The breakfast is good, the pool is warm, and they provide individual toiletries just like the old days of hotel travel. The location is very convenient to downtown Jackson and I-55. Lots of nearby restaurants as well. A good value and a good experience.

We stayed here while visiting family in the area, so didn't spend much time in the hotel, apart from to sleep and eat breakfast. The bed was enormous and very comfortable and the room on the third floor was at the back of the hotel and very quiet. Reception staff were pleasant and welcoming. There was a good variety of food available at breakfast: cereal, pancakes, toast, yoghurts, fruit, eggs, biscuits and gravy and, best of all, delicious crispy bacon. The dining room was never crowded so it felt very safe. The coffee was not strong enough for us, but that's just our taste. The orange juice was often still frozen, although those pots at the top of the pile in the fridge were more likely to have thawed than those at the bottom! The breakfast supervisor kept things topped up, although on one Saturday morning, quite a few things (eg milk, coffee, fruit) had run out and there was no sign of anybody to replenish them for a while. (The usual lady was not there and I eventually found a different member of staff looking at her phone in the room adjacent to the dining room., rather than keeping an eye on things.) The decor of the hotel is rather dated and the dark colour scheme makes it seem rather gloomy, unfortunately, although everything seemed clean and the housekeeping staff did a good job. Little things such as graffiti scratched into the glass panel in the elevator; odd stains on the white curtains; screw holes in the bathroom where something has obviously been removed and a very rusty hoist in the swimming pool don't give a very good impression. Would we stay again? Yes, probably, although it does need a refresh.

This hotel is very clean, affordable, close to eating places. They always make you feel like family and go over and beyond to make your stay pleasant. Tracey and all the front desk staff are on top of every need. They are always friendly and willing to help.

Quick summary: my review is based on what I expect of this type of good-value hotel. Many amenities as expected at BW. Very comfortable beds. Good housekeeping. Friendly, professional staff. This is the second time we've stayed at this property in our road trips. We stayed in room 105, which has two very comfortable queen beds. All the usual amenities we expect of BW properties - fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron/board, 3-drawer chest. Thank you for a closed closet with a mirror -- I'm not fond of "open" shelving and an open rack for a closet. It looks untidy at the least, and I don't like my stuff out in the open when maid might come in. I also like that there is carpeting int he room. Lately, some hotels just have some kind of flooring -- cold and hard in the evening with bare feet. Okay in high-traffic entryways, but less so in the room. The bathroom has a separate tub/shower and toilet from the large vanity sink -- nice to spread out on. Nice toiletries of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and shower gel provided. Excellent housekeeping. Friendly, professional service throughout. Very good breakfast of hot and cold items - scrambled eggs, meats, breads, pastries, cereals, yogurt, fruit, juices, and yes! Half-and-half for the coffee. Nice indoor pool. We did not use it, but it looked clean. This is always a good stop - we'd be happy to stay again.

Best Western Plus in Flowood, MS is clean, comfortable, convenient and safe. The staff is excellent and the breakfast is always great. They go above and beyond to keep the rooms and hotel clean and enjoyable.

Business trip, and called ahead to see if we could get a 26 foot truck into the parking lot, gentleman assured us that we could, arrived and no problem getting the truck in, gentleman at front desk was great! Very professional and answered all of our questions, room was clean, bed was comfy, overall was a very nice place!

We left a backpack behind in the hotel with several valuables inside, and the hotel called to notify us immediately and was very accommodating working around our needs to ship the bag to our home in Colorado. One employee, I believe his name was Calvin, was especially helpful in that process and went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed. The only thing I would improve is that the breakfast had less options than many other Best Westerns we have stayed at, but I'm still giving the hotel 5 stars because of the excellent service we received.

Located in a nice area. Restaurants or fast food near by. Easy access. Room was nice and quiet. Had a nice sleep on the very comfortable king size bed. Very clean large screen tv with direct TV Very enjoyable Very friendly staff.

I was impressed with the reservations clerk when I called the hotel for a room. It was later in the evening and I was treated with respect and was very patient walking me through the procedure. The Staff was over the top with customer service. Great breakfast. Wonderful experience.

This Best Western was a great location for where we wanted to go.There are couple of restaurants in walking distance along with a Circle K gas station across the street. We were only 17 minutes from the Brandon Amphitheater and only 10 minutes from the Refuge Golf course.

Due to a change in plans, we were looking for a place to stay after a long travel day and found the BW to be just in the right spot at the right time. It was late at night and the front desk manager was so helpful. We were blessed to find this place that night.

It was comfortable and nice elevator little slow but it was nice, staff was friendly and helpful everything worked it was in a great location i could get to everything in 5 mins dont mind stay a 4th time.

I am a very meticulous person when it comes to staying in hotels. I only needed one night for an event the next day. Bedding: Super soft and comfy. Decor: Fresh, new and contemporary Front Desk: Very friendly and helpful. Online reservation had double charged me. Calvin took care of it immediately. Cleanliness: Thank goodness it was pet free. Hallway very clean and fresh. Appear to be new carpeting. Room was totally clean. Surrounding Area: Several restaurants nearby and within walking distance. Area seemed safe and well-lit. Breakfast: Wasn't the best quality but I am sure you can find something that will satisfy you.

This hotel has the best beds and pillows. The staff was exceptionally welcoming. There is a full breakfast bar included. The rooms do not have WiFi but the lobby does. The pool is clean and indoors but well vented I enjoyed the fact that there were 4 restaurants in walking distance of the hotel. They also have microwave and refrigerator in each room.

Tracy is always the best ! Rooms are clean. they keep you safe while having a hot breakfast. Still not cleaning the rooms yet due to Covid but let them know what you need and the front desk will get it for you.

This hotel is in a nice area, always clean and has staff that will go beyond your expectations. There is plenty of eating places nearby and all of them either have delivery or curb side service. There is also shopping areas and convenience stores close too.

The flowood best western is an ideal choice for a upscale hotel stay, with amenities at a reasonable price, and off the busy traffic areas however close enough to downtown Jackson, restaurants and area attractions or historical sites.

Great customer service. Sam is an excellent manager. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much. The breakfast is also very good with a wide variety. Staff is very friendly and understanding. We would definitely recommend.

Tracye did it again! When I checked in she greeted me BY NAME and with a huge smile! (Mask on but I could tell LOL) It was so awesome to walk in to a hotel that I love to visit and be welcomed by the staff in that manner. She is always so polite and explains all the amenities in detail that are provided during our stay. By far my favorite Best Western in the country!

The staff is so nice. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. We apperciate the hotel's discounts they offer to parents of kids in the Children's Hospital. It was a very clean and safe place to stay while visiting the hospital.

Quick summary: the room is comfortable, clean, and spacious. Breakfast needs some improvement. Friendly, professional service. We stayed one night here during our trip down the Natchez Trace. Room 308 has two comfortable queen beds, a number of pillows, and a comforter that was just right - not too warm nor too light. HVAC and free wifi worked well. Good storage in a 3-drwaer unit and closet. Many of the the amenities you come to expect from a well-run Best Western: microwave, fridge, coffee maker, good-size work desk and chair, iron/board. No in-room safe. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo. Complimentary shampoo. conditioner, and body lotion. Nicely upgraded bathroom includes spacious stone countertops, and finish work in the tub area. There is also plenty of counterspace for your own cosmetics, toiletries, etc. Spotless housekeeping. The breakfast was a disappointment, and you feel churlish complaining abut a free breakfast during COVID times. I am also fine with a cold (not cooked) breakfast. But the offering this morning felt like having dessert for breakfast - a sugar shock of a chocolate chip muffin, chocolate muffins, honey granola bars. We appreciated the fresh fruit (apples. To sum: the room is a nice, fresh, comfortable well-kept room. We love BW properties, and add this one to the list of ones that you would be happy to stay in for the room. Unfortunately, since BW makes a thing of having a complimentary breakfast, this was a real disappointment.

We stay at this hotel often for hostipal and doctor visits. The staff is always willing to meet all needs. The rooms are always clean and ready to relax in. The lobby is always clean and welcoming. It is a great place between food and shopping.

Our first time here was when we moved from the disgusting Econolodge across the street. 2 great days with friendly staff, convenient location and ample parking and clean, modern appointed rooms. TV was good, Internet was good enough to play on the PS4. To Go Breakfast bags. Have stayed here several times and will return. Appreciate the staff's hospitality and attentiveness.

Well received. I appreciate your hospitality. Both check-in and check-out were very easy and speedy. Rooms were clean. The restrictions for Covid-19 were followed correctly. The tariff was not that much expensive, rather it was moderate.

TV screen was too dark and too small to be useful. Showerhead was broken but at 11pm that's extremely inconvenient to do anything about. No fresh coffee anywhere, and the coffee provided in the room was horrible. For what I paid I should've been able to get at least some decent coffee and a shower. Not compensated for lack of breakfast, pool, or fitness center. Bed was ok. I would not stay here again.

87 degrees in room when i got there. The AC was turned off in room. Took two hours to get down to 78 degrees. 4th floor hallway smelled like marijuana. Ceiling tiles left wet on hall floor due to leak above.

Arrived at night got the worse clerk ever. When I showed up there was no one in the lobby when she did show up looked like she was sleeping in the back room. Service when down hill from there on the bright sid the morning shift were outstanding. Other than poor customer service upon arrival it was a good stay.

Trayce provided the warmest, genuine service we have ever received at the Best Western Brand Hotels. As Diamond-tiered members, we stay at Best Western over 100 nights a year as a small family business. That's almost a third of a year! So we don't dote on Trayce lightly. The hotel was clean.. very welcoming lobby. Our room was pleasant, but had a blown light bulb. The reason for the 4-star rating was the absent nighttime receptionist. Two separate evenings we went to get snacks from the “store” and the receptionist (who you pay for said snacks) was absent. The second go round, we just took the snacks and payed on the way out the following morning.

This hotel is in a great location. Shopping and restaurants very close by. The room was very clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom of a nice size. We felt very at home here and hope to return when the pool will be open. My son enjoyed the fitness room. It was a very nice stay and we hope to return soon.

When we tried to check in the front clerk swiped my card and said it was denied and they needed another form of payment. I called my credit card company and they suggested the clerk manually enter the card numbers. He did and it worked! The hotel's card reader wasn't working. The hotel is older but kept up. Rooms were pretty clean. We felt like they charged too much for what we got.

I booked the king spa room and was so pleased with it I ended up ordering in and just relaxing for a weekend. Perfect location with restaurants all around and close the plenty of shopping and entertainment... can't wait to go back !

The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the Flowood area was recommended by law enforcement as the safest place to stay while in the Jackson area. In my line of work, I travel a lot! I have stayed in many hotels. Usually I stay in another major hotel chain, but I always try to stay at a Best Western when I can. Of all the Best Western hotels I have stayed at, this one is definitely a top 5. Amazing staff!

We have stayed here several times over the last couple of years. It's our favorite place to stay when we come to Jackson to visit family. The location is great and the rooms are always clean. We also enjoy the free breakfast.

This site did not meet the standards when it came to cleanliness and out dated stained furniture and carpeting. Did not witness any other rooms nor did I request a change of room as I was tired from a long trip. Front desk clerk was friendly and knowledgeable of the area and restaurants

This hotel is convenient for travel along I-20 to and from the east coast. The manager is a very nice Lady and cares a lot about the customers which helps make this a nice stop. I always make it a stop on my travels through the area.

We were tired so being met by a friendly, cheerful person was great. Everything was 5 star. We had the same cheerfulness as we checked out. We will definitely use this hotel again when we return next year,

The property is clean (that's #1 in my book). The bed was very comfortable (maybe a co-#1). Breakfast was good. Internet was fast enough (didn't check the speed). It was within a few miles of where I needed to be the next morning, but close to several places to eat. The water pressure and the shower head were wonderful, which was very much needed after a nine hour drive. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and seemed genuinely happy that I stayed with them. I travel quite a bit and have learned to truly appreciate that.

Thought I'd give it a couple of hours to cool down and at 11:30 at night the thermostat still read the same. Called the front desk and was told they would "enter it into the book for repair". No offer to switch rooms or to come try to fix it. Next morning at checkout the attendant didn't know anything about it and it "wasn't in the book"...Breakfast was nice though, Miss Mary was delightful.

Arrived at the hotel right around 3 PM. The beautiful young lady kindly and quickly checked us in. She greeted everyone as we walked in. My son had to use the bathroom badly as we were checking in and she showed him where the restrooms were. Later when my son wanted to swim, she made sure the door was unlocked and showed us where the pool was and continued to smale and let us know if we need anything just to let her know.

I was hesitant at first but it was not a bad stay. Free parking available located near several eateries i.e. Popeyes, Krystal Burger, Golden Corral. Easy check in, friendly staff no issues Room was clean and the correct room booked. Door was squeaky and scared the kids upon entry but it was funny, made for a great laugh and was not an issue. There was Direct TV for television service, free wifi available. There was no one there when we arrived at the desk to check out but housekeeping located someone to assist us. We were checked out without any issues. It is a non smoking, pet free facility. Check in begins at 4pm. Check out is at 11am. Free continental breakfast, they offer pancakes and biscuits instead of waffles. There is a "breakfast room" that breakfast is served in . Breakfast is from 630-930.

Very good location, near the Interstate, also lots of eating establisments. Very good hot breakfast, also very safe area. Rooms kinda small but does have micowave and refrigerators in the room. Staff also very nice and professional.

Love the location, the service. The property was neat and well kept. Quiet and cozy. Room was nice. Finally had a bathroom I didn't have to clean myself. A/C worked very well. Bed was very comfortable and a nice size refrigerator.

Everytime I have to stay in Jackson Mississippi, I book this hotel. It's a great place for the price and they are very friendly. The rooms are always clean and smells fresh. I always give them my preferences when I make my reservations, and they get it right every time. It's also in the middle of all the great restaurants and shopping centers. We were looking for a park and stay hotel for our trip to Las Vegas. This Best Western Plus in Flowood was perfect for our stay. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The shuttle took us to the airport and picked us up when we returned. The staff, especially Tracey, was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Everything was right - parking, appearance, function, comfort - it was all done right. Stayed here during a juco national championship softball tournament - and it was quiet at night, everything worked without a hitch.

Can't say enough about our stay here. The front desk staff were tremedously helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make our experience a very pleasurable one. We arrived too early to have a room ready for us but they took all the information so that when we came back later that evening all we had to do was get keys. They went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed and explained the policies of the hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean and beds comfortable. The breakfast was hot and fresh and constanly being restocked with food that were running low or out. Check in was quick and easy. We have stayed at diiferent chains of hotels in the past year but this one rates at the top. Great job to all the staff here they are truly top notch. We will definitely stay here again when in the area and would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great place to stay. Based on this experience, in the future when looking for hotels, BW will be on our list of first choices

Love the people who work at BW+ Flowood Inn & Suites. They make my visits to see my daughter so enjoyable. It is my home away from home. The facility is clean and friendly. Best place I've experienced during a hotel visit.

We make frequent trips to visit our daughter in Mississippi. We always stay at the same hotel. We have found that this hotel is efficient, friendly and breakfast is included. I would recommend Best Western Plus Flowood inn & Suites.

Husband and I went to MS to see grandchild born, needed to stay one night. Hotel was clean and bed was comfortable, just the pillows were a little lumpy. Decent breakfast with choice of hot and cold items. Staff were very receptive and friendly. Front desk staff, Marcos, was very helpful and even provided a nice discount.

This was such an unexpected gem. The hotel is clean, up to date, but the staff are awesome!! Very helpful and go beyond their duty. The breakfast was decent. We had a king size room and it was a bit small but perfect for the 2 of us.

The front desk ladies where awesome, took very good care of us! They are courteous of our time, and make the stay so much better. Anything and everything we needed with a special child, they helped! The rooms where nice and clean, we had to check out late and we where not bugged or hurried as most hotels and this is a compliment to all the staff. Too wrap it up, the employees make the place great!

The Hotel is in decent location, Flowood MS. We enjoyed our one night stay. The beds were very conformable. Room size was decent enough to accommodate a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. The TV remote was not user friendly. The breakfast was OK. Sabrina, at front desk was outstanding during our check-out. I would recommenced the Hotel and we will stay there next time when we visit Mississippi.

My Best Western Plus stay was Awesome! We had a great time. The reception that we received was overwhelming. I couldn't have asked for anything better. The breakfast was Awesome. Restaurants were in walking distance.

This hotel is located only 5 minutes from the Hospitals (VA, St. Dominic, Methodist and University Medical Center) making it a great place to stay for early morning medical appointment or procedures. The staff at this hotel are the best! They are friendly, professional and helpful and go above and beyond for your comfort and security.

I was in Flowood for a business class and I stayed there for 4 days. The hotel was very pleasant and I had no problems while I stayed there. The staff was very friendly and courteous. They seemed to really care about making me as comfortable as possible. They even loaned me an umbrella to get to my car when it was raining one morning.

Clean and quiet! So nice to call a hotel and actually talk with a person, Sebrina. Sebrina was so helpful, patient, and kind from helping me with a room to making sure I had everything we needed for reservation! We had a doctor' s appointment and she was so very caring. She went out of her way for us with a great attitude. Tracey was also very welcoming and helpful. I felt like we were home away from home. This will be our go-to place when we are in the area.

We had another great experience staying at this hotel while we were in town for work. The staff is extremely helpful and are always asking if there is anything else they can do to make our stay better. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel when visiting the Jackson/Flowood area!

Good location near Jackson with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Free breakfast was great and facility clean. The one elevator in facility was extremely slow, but only 4 floors so we took the stairs most of the time. The rooms were average, the microwave and fridge were good to have. Beds were ok.

We walked in and our room was so hot. The AC was off in the summer! We had to leave because the unit could not cool the room down in a timely fashion. Manager and owner refused to talk to us. No refund. Sabrina, who named herself the manager, would not help us and was rude. She claimed we should not expect our room to be cool upon arrival. Do not stay here. If something goes wrong, they do nothing.

Still my in Flowood even with all the problems with the Internet. Its location is perfect for our job we have in that area. The rooms always smell nice and are clean. Tracy is wonderful, and Sabrina is very helpful. One of my coworkers had a room thst someone had previously smoked in. The front desk person worked quickly to make sure they were moved and comfortable.

On par with my previous preferred hotel chain (Hampton Inns) and perhaps a slightly better value. Will definitely try the brand again and hope other inns are of same quality. Thanks for a pleasant and affordable stay.

Flowood is the place to stay in the Jackson Mississippi area land the is the hotel you want. kind people, clean rooms, indoor/outdoor pool, close to everything. The service from the staff is the best.

Had to have eye surgery. Hotel was 5 minutes from where I had to be. Excellent room. Breakfast was great and price was perfect! Plan to stay again next week. Would recommend this to anyone in the Flowood area.

My family anf i enjoyed our stay and will definetly stay at this hotel again. The only add on i would suggestbis maybr a play area. Or heat the pool for a year round usage. Kids would love to swim. ....

My stay at this hotel was average, but disappointing. I got to the hotel at 2:30 and I was told they wouldn't allow me to check in till 3 and there was no one at the hotel at the time. I booked 2 rooms and I was aggravated that they put them on 2 different floors. My room was good and had an uncommon advantage to most rooms because it had a really high ceiling. The room lacked a lot of light fixtures however. The shower was above average and I am a tall guy at about 6 foot 4 and I could fit under the shower head comfortably. The TV was very confusing because a lot of the popular channels were not part of the subscription. I usually enjoy best western breakfasts, but this hotel's was below average. I ate at 7:30 about an hour after it started and their was no waffle maker, the Pancake maker did not work (I figured this out by myself because there was no sign around it and no other guests could work it), their was a lack of biscuits and sausage, and the cereal options were too limited. Overall, I may stay at this hotel again but it will not be my first choice for the area.

There are a lot of choices nearby, there are some Hilton hotels and I think a comfort Inn or Suites or something. This place is old and beat up, it's dirty the staff at the desk is confused and not trained, the housekeepers look sweaty and overworked. Breakfast was average and a little cramped. It is what is a poorly run Best Western. I will stay somewhere else next time.

We stay at this hotel most of the time when we are in the are. Great staff, clean rooms and nice hot breakfast! Great price; great value! If something is not right, they will make it right. We have never had a problem. Close to shopping and restaurants as well as local hospitals and physician offices.

The hotel is well kept; the breakfast just need a shot in the arm. We were there at holiday time and I'll chalk that up to vacation for employees. Overall, it was a really nice place to stay and seemed secure and easy to get to places.

Hotel staff is very friendly. On the day I stayed the staff member taking care of breakfast showed great pride in the quality and presentation of breakfast. Room was clean. Only problem was the refrigerator in the room was a bit noisy.

We stayed with a family of five, 2 adults 3 kids under 11. All were very satisfied with the stay. We slept in the double queen w/ pull out sofa bed. Room and beds were clean and comfy. Location was a few minutes off our route, but was worth it for a comfy nights stay.

Second time to visit. Thought maybe what I experienced the first time was just a one time thing. Nope... First, I get there and check in was fast and the guy was very nice. I get to the room and the place was turned upside down (pic). Looks like they were remodeling the room. Went back down where I had to wait for 8 people to check in before I could get a room. The room looked clean... Until you walk with your bare feet on the carpet... My feet were BLACK! It was disgusting. Noticed one of my towels had a stain of some type wiped on it (pic). One of my clean towels had a very long hair on it... I only found because it was stuck to my face as I was drying off. The TV was pathetic. The remote worked part of the time. The TV signal was terrible. The picture would pixelate every 30 to 45 seconds. They have "1000 channels" on the guide, but only 20-25 work. It would be nice to have a listing so we don't waste our time. The bed is comfortable. The pillows are too small. They give you 4 pillow "balls"(pic)... Those may equal 2 regular pillows. STAY AWAY FROM THE ICE!! THERE IS MOLD (pic) AND OTHER CRAP COMING FROM ALL THE MACHINES (sorry, the 4th floor machine wasn't working). This was my complaint two months ago and it's still a problem today (pic). I made a mistake looking at the ice bucket after the ice melted... Just gross!! Breakfast was fine and they offer a good range of items. Place was somewhat depleted after one hour, so get there early. Not sure what health standards are there when prepping the food considering everything else I experienced. Oh... Make sure they add your Rewards number. They didn't do it the last time I was here. I stayed here one too many times. Needless to say, I will not be back!

overnight stay on way to Natchez this was a great area with lots of restaurants. Hotel staff were excellent and I would definitely book here again. The manager made us a fresh pot of coffee when we checked in to our room. We were on the 2nd floor back side and it was very quite. Hotel was very clean and we had a comfortable stay.

My home away from home while working in Mississippi. The staff is very nice. The breakfast is a bit better than some of the other hotels that I have to stay at. I always look forward to seeing Tracy each time I visit Flowood.

I went to visit my daughter in college and due to events going on it was the only halfway clean hotel to stay that wasn't going to cost me 4 hundred or more to stay for 3 nights. Though $95 per night before tax was steep for the quality of the hotel. The tv keep cutting off for 3 to 5 seconds while watching it, like their was some type of electrical overload in the room. I had to unplug the clock because it kept making buzzing sounds as if an alarm had been set and was going off. The refrigerator was a bit loud, the bed linens were a bit itchy and irritating to my skin. The towels were rough and pretty cheap looking. Housekeeping services were apparently limited, I had thick dust on the furniture and lamp shades. Though most people don't go out of town to work out, but it would have been nice to have a bigger fitness room with actual working equipment. The had 1 very small room with three pieces of old equipment and only one was working properly. The three positives were the staff was very friendly and helpful, I did feel safe and they were onsite free parking.

Skip the free breakfast and go to a local place nearby. You likely won't have room in the tiny breakfast area anyway. Rooms are fairly clean. I'd probably only stay again if it was free. Elevators are tiny. Halls are narrow. I got a claustrophobic vibe from the whole place.

I left my I Pad in my room. The front desk was calling me after I had left to a number I gave. It was my home number. After they searched, she found my cell number. They called me on the road and I was able to have my I Pad sent to me

My stay at this Best Western was an outstanding one. The staff was friendly and pleasant. They went out of their way to make my stay very comfortable. Even the breakfast attendant was friendly and energetic to make sure I had everything I need and he keep the area super clean.

A very nice BW that looks new. It is located just west of I-55, but near several food places. Walking to dinner was nice. The rooms are very clean and our room had a great AC unit (hot in MS). Rooms have microwaves and fridge. Free wifi.

Evacuated here for hurricane Irma. We weren't alone at this BW. The parking lot had many Florida cars and we meet many other evacuees in the comfortable lobby and over the good breakfast. It was a pleasant experience from the moment we stepped in the door. Tracy at the front desk was awesome. So calming while dealing with an influx of scared Floridians, a new trainee and a broken printer! Kudos to her. All the staff was so pleasant. The young man who ran the breakfast room also was great and made our stay a good one. Everything was clean, comfortable. I agree with all the other good reviews and had none of the problems of those who wrote poor reviews.

Room was spacious, clean, comfortable. This hotel is in a great location. Close to the interstate, shopping, and a lot of restaurants. I highly recommend.

I send my Tech's all over and they stay at many Hotels. This one in particular got a very good review. Very clean, staff was smiling entire time and didn't hesitate to help when needed. Breakfast not only looked good it was very good. They informed me this was the best Hotel they have been to in a long while.

This has been one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The staff was great and very friendly. Breaskfast area was very clean with a lot of options. Bed was super comfortable. Breakfast attendant was the best he was there all 5 mornings and he was always happy and talkative.

My husband had to have a minor surgery procedure on his back. This Best Western was only a few short miles from the facility. It was a wonderful place to return to after his procedure. Clean, quiet, and a helpful and friendly staff! The location was ideal for two old folks to get around Jackson, Ms to find good eating places and the clinic! Will use this place again and tell our friends about it too!

The Bestwestern Plus Flowood seems to attract the best people to hire. From the manager to housekeeping and maintenance you will not find a friendlier staff. We visit The Jackson area frequently and stay with Bestwestern, they have several hotels near the VA Hospital and University Medical Ctr. This location is closest to the hospital and it is the newer one. We have had to stay at other area hotels but none had a staff that are as friendly as this. They make you feel at home during your stay.

This was a beautiful hotel. Very easy to find and access to restaurants and quick stops. Very nice and well trained staff. The beds were great and the shower felt really great after a long day travelling.

The staff was tops. From Davion in the breakfast room to Kim making our reservations and Sabrina helping with check in. You will not find a another hotel of better value. Stay here. You will be happy you did.

My family stays here every year for a church conference. The rooms have always been clean and staff friendly. The hotel is located by several restaurants and a convenient store/gas station. Nearby is a trampoline park; West of hotel-short distance from the Sport museum, Agricultural museum, and Nature museum. East of hotel- short distance from movie theater and nice shopping areas, reasonable distance from airport. Also near hospitals. The breakfast is free, continental style, can't complain about that. Budget friendly hotel, good amenities for the price.

My husband and I were traveling through and stopped at this Best Western. The front desk clerk, Tracye, was incredibly professional and friendly. The room was nice and conveniently located to many restaurants and shopping. Definitely an A+ hotel. We will stay again!

Other reviewers must have been from a school for the blind. On this trip we previously stayed in other BW + 's which were very nice sooo ., we sought this out. DUMB. It's located behind a 24hr. gas station / convenience store that's illuminated at night like the sun. Hmm.. sketchy area perhaps. Who knows. Right away you might notice the receptacle for tossing a days trash is located in the lobby hmmm.. elevator ? Look for the closet sized door down the hallway to the left, carpet in the hallway of floor 2 anyway was reminecent of perhaps a Sopranos episode . Think badly stained dirty. Really dirty. Check same room carpets. This place put a really bad taste in my mind for the Best Western Plus brand, obviously little corporate oversite. TIP: go up the road a bit to the town of Clinton or a bit farther to Vicksburg .

We spent a Saturday night here recently because the location was just over 2 miles from the annual Mississippi Celtic Festival grounds. The property was modern, clean, well-maintained and well-lit at night. We had asked for a top-floor room in a quiet part of the building and we could not have been more satisfied; the room was extremely quiet. We also appreciated that the A/C was very effective and that the bathroom had an excellent exhaust fan, something that is often missing in even high-priced hotels nowadays. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety, and everything we had was quite good. There was someone on-duty the whole time refreshing items and cleaning off tables as necessary. We felt the room was an excellent value.

This is still a nice motel, but like everything else, if you fail to keep them up they start to show age. This facility lacks some of the usual amenities, but the comfort, class and cleanliness is still there.

This is a great hotel (especially for the price)! We stay here approximately 6 times per year while visiting family. We used to stay at another local hotel that was almost twice the price, but find this hotel to be more than sufficient for our needs and that's why we keep coming back. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They are like family now!

I loved staying here when it first opened. Staff was friendly, rooms were beautiful... But it has gone downhill. I originally rated it a one-star in comparison to what it was but had to amend it to two stars because there isn't one big thing wrong, just a lot of little things. Repairs made since opening are poor quality, towels and toiletries are rationed out miserly, front desk staff is often unavailable (I believe this is due to them being required to do other duties in the hotel...a managerial issue not front desk issue), and the breakfast is cheap, processed, frozen food that is terrible and tasteless. On the upside it is clean and the rooms got very cool. In short, it isn't a bad hotel but it is obvious the owners are more interested in making money than serving guests effectively. There are better hotels with similar rates in the area.

Best Western Hotel was the hotel of choice that hosted our Family Reunion sleeping accommodations. I truly appreciate the fact that we had a microwave and refrigerator. The kids loved the indoor pool also!

My husband was staying here during a workshop and I needed to call him. The front desk person told me that she could not forward outside calls to rooms. For the amount he's paying, the least they could do is forward calls! The room was clean, the food was good, and other employees were very helpful.

The suite was really nice for a great price! The hotel is located in a great location next to restaurants and shopping. There is also a fun place for the kids! I will definitely stay at this Best Western again!!

I have stayed at Best Westerns before their logo change. It seems quality of hotels changed as well. I paid a BW+ price tag for what I consider to be a Motel 6 (maybe worse). Very few amenities in room. It did have a microwave and fridge but when my mom went down to bring up breakfast she was stopped and told food was not allowed to be taken out of breakfast area and back to rooms. Breakfast area was also small and had no sitting so we completely skipped breakfast that day. Rooms very tiny and the ceilings are not finished. You are looking at painted over concrete of floor above you in the bed area, but real ceilings in the bathroom.

We spent a Saturday night here on our way back from the beach. The staff was friendly. The elevator is on the small side. Our room only had 3 towels despite us having 5 people in our suite. We were only given a half roll of toilet paper with no extra roll in the room, but luckily that was enough. The breakfast was okay.

I recently visited this area for business and our team stayed at the property. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They offer complimentary wifi and a full hot breakfast each morning. The room was comfortable and clean. My only recommendation would be to change the light bulbs in the bathroom to a lighter color.

This hotel suited its purpose - a place to stay the night before an early flight out of the Jackson airport. It was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. I definitely wouldn't stay for vacation, but for a night or two, it works. They should fix the thermostat, however. As other reviewers said, it was either too hot or too cold. But thanks to the comfy bed, we still slept pretty well. If you need a place to stay for the night, this will likely suit.

I stayed three nights at this hotel while on business in Jackson. It was close to downtown and shopping. Easily accessible to the highways and downtown. Nice and comfortable as well as secure. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location at a great price.

The weather was awful but the staff was welcoming. Checked in and the room was very nice, clean and well stocked. The individual coffee was a plus as was the microwave in the room. Downstairs they have coffee about 12 hours a day and there is a continental breakfast available as well. I was pleasantly surprised by the biscuits and the pancakes. One suggestion: adult yogurt instead of the kids' stuff please.

It was very clean,people were great.The receptionist was well dressed. Respectable.The room ws clean and fresh.The outside was well taken care of.The breakfast was hot and the area where it was served was clean and the girl kept it up.The beds were fresh and slept well.The noise was kept to a minimum.It had a pool which we didn't use but was available.Everything that was necessary was at our disposal.Friends were with us they appreciated athe cleanliness and the attitude of the people weho served there.Best western has been our choice of motels years running.We have traveled all over and always look for a best western to serve our needs.Normally they are all up to par.We haven't had much complaint over the years.

Hotel was very clean and staff was friendly. Bed was very comfortable. Continental breakfasts are frequently disappointing, but this one was not. They had a nice selection of hot and cold options and the breakfast room itself was well arranged. My only complaint was that we requested a room away from the elevator and ice machine and were given a room right next to both. Fortunately, this did not end up being an issue as we did not hear any noise from either.

The pool water and temp of the pool room were both too cold to be able to use the swimming pool or even sit in the room. Had to ask for 4 hours before management came, yet temperature of room/water still did not heat up. Price not worth the hotel if indoor pool is not able to be used.

The hotel was nice, clean, and had friendly staff. We enjoyed the breakfast. It was good to have cold and warm food available to choose from. The room was very quiet but wish the air worked better to keep the room an even temperature. Too much fluctuation in the temperature.

Nice hotel with comfortable beds. Rooms have microwaves and mini fridge. Parking lot was was adjacent to a gas station, Popeyes, Slotzksy deli and Cinnabon. There was also an Applebee's and Golden Corral right across the street. Great location.

I am a Diamond Member, almost Diamond Elite, but this is an excellent hotel. Clean, quiet, and surrounded by restaurants. I stay in many Hilton Brands as well, but these beds do not match anywhere else! The points program for Best Western is pretty awesome as well.

Noisy neighbors with kids woke us up in the middle of the night - walls were not well insulated for sound barrier. AC unit was too close to the bed and kept us hot or cold all night. Facility and staff were excellent.

Exceptional value for price. Nice upgraded hotel, very different from typical best western. The area is nice and easy to access Jackson, MS. Don't second guess this hotel the pictures on the website are accurate.

Out standing hotel. Great customer service. Very helpful. Good breakfast. The beds are so relaxing nice and comfortable. I will pick this hotel for every business stay I have in this area including the Richland area. ( do not stay at the Best Western in Richland over priced motel 6). Stay at this one trust me worth the drive. I stayed in this one on Feb 10 night 11 morning best stay ever. I stayed at the Richland Feb 12 night 13 morning worst stay ever. They are not the same company I recently found out. I would highly recommend staying at Flowood. In the future I will also. Lesson learned not all hotels are the same with the same names.

Stayed on business. This was the Best Best Western I have ever stayed at. I highly recommend it to any and every one. The property was centrally located. Good choice of restaurants near by. The rooms were decorated well. Indoor pool. Internet service was great. Overall wonderful experience.

We used this hotel for two separate weekends while our daughter participated in a cheer competition. Excellent place to stay. Pool was nice and clean. Rooms were great. Breakfast went over and beyond. Staff were always willing to help us and had such encouraging things to say to our daughter when we left for competition. Will use this location over and over and recommend to others!

Have stayed here before. Plenty of places to eat very close by. Try Primos Cafe. Favorite place in the Jackson area. Not far from shopping or downtown and museums. Clean and safe! Much better than staying in Jackson.

This was a great place to stay, very clean and comfortable room. My daughters and I were visiting for a family funeral and this location was perfect for us. We enjoyed to free breakfast plus the exercise room and indoor pool.

We stayed here on our way through Mississippi. The price was right and it was located conveniently where we needed to be. We were surprised to see how clean it was. The staff was very friendly also. The king bed was comfortable but the pillows should probably be replaced with newer ones, they were not very firm and felt "pilly" inside. The other suggestion I would have would to have someone clean the vents in the bathroom, they were very dirty and plugged from dust. Breakfast was ok but for the price we didn't expect much more.

To be honest, I view Best Western as a 'has been' in the hotel arena. However, staying there this past weekend has made me think twice about the chain. The receptionist was very friendly, the room was clean and updated, and the breakfast was quite good. I would recommend staying at this particular location, especially for the price.

I stayed at the Best Western PLUS in Flowood, Mississippi, after a long drive from San Antonio. I was searching for hotels in the area, and didn't want to spend more than $100. I found this hotel buy searching for lodging in the area on my phone and it looked to be in a nice part of town and reasonably priced. When I arrived, the woman at the front desk was VERY friendly and helpful. I wish I could remember her name because she was wonderful. She made me aware of the Best Western rewards program, checked me in very quickly and also recommended a few restaurants in the area that gave discounts to their guests. The hotel was very clean and up to date. My room was great. The bed was comfortable, the furniture was in great shape, and most importantly, it was VERY clean! And the breakfast the next morning was the best free hotel breakfast I've ever had! There were so many options! The food was hot (pancakes, bacon, eggs, biscuits & gravy) and there were also danishes, bagels, cereal and more! It was a great meal before hitting the road again. I would definitely stay there again and would absolutely recommend it to others! Great value and great experience.

My daughter had a cheerleading competition in Jackson. We stayed one night and had a wonderful experience. Room was very spacious. It was a great location for us coming into town and getting to the Convention Complex. We will definitely be using this hotel again for future competitions. When we were talking about our nights at the competition, I made it a point to share our experience with other Cheer moms!!

Excellent customer service. Rooms are clean and very spacious, including flat screen TV, Sofabed, microwave and refrigerator. Beds very,very comfortable, Breakfast was above average and serving area had plenty of room to eat. Restaurants in walking distance and plenty of shopping within 2 miles.

We were just traveling through on a long trip to Texas. Have stayed at this hotel the past two times we were in the area. The receptionists have always been very welcoming and helpful. The hotel clean and modern. Breakfast was just ok.

Was driving through on a vacation and called ahead and booked a room. What a nice little Best Western. It was very modern and new and extremely clean. The bathrooms had granite and luxury showers etc. It seemed like an odd place for such a nice hotel. Breakfast was standard. Very Impressed. WiFi also worked well.

The breakfast is good its what you expect from all hotel free breakfast. But the location itself was spectacular. There are a lot of restaurants near by. And 15 minutes down the road is a complete shopping center along with more great restaurants. Overall the hotel was clean and the staff were accomidating. I would stay here again.

stayed at this location for the close proximity of the job site. The hotel is located near shopping, several eating establishments and no too far from recreation and historical sites. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are comfortable and have the small amenities - small refrigerator and microwave. excellent location for work. The beds are very comfortable.

The hotel was ok. The staff was excellent. The food not so good. The overall experience was fine. There were a few changes initiated by the hotel that surprised me while I was there. The addition of an in hotel store with extremely high cost of products, as well as a lack of adequate breakfast items...ie....waffles.

I hesitated to book a Best Western, usually preferring Drury and Embassy Ssuites. But found such a good deal on this property through Expedia, that i decided to try it. I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and the decor! The staff was friendly. And their are plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the property.

I called the hotel for directions and was lucky to be able to speak to Kourtney who gave me excellent directions, including landmarks so I was able to drive directly to the hotel! Thanks Kourtney! Hotel was very close to an Applebee's also - very convenient.

We stayed here three nights while I attended some training classes for work. Overall the hotel was clean, staff was very friendly, and our room was clean. Bed was very comfy, best hotel bed in years! Breakfast consisted of sausage, bacon, eggs, and pancakes plus all your typical continental items. There is an indoor pool area which looked well maintained, and a small fitness room. Excellant location to many restaurants and stores. Overall we were very pleased and would definitely recommend it.

I called before I made reservations and asked the front desk if the pool was heated and they said it was. Ha! It was ICE cold. When I told them about it, they said someone else has already reported it last week!?! Now this may be just me but if someone reported it last week why was it still cold... The outside doors to the stair well was not locked at any point during the day and night. Anyone could have came in the hotel. Hotel was clean and in a convenient location.

This hotel was a far cry better than the one I stayed at in Memphis, it was clean and the staff was very friendly I had a wonderful stay. the location was great walking distance to a host of reasonable restaurants. I would stay here again. thanks Best Western for redeeming yourself I was really ready to write you guys off.

My wife have stayed here a few times over the past 2 years, now that our daughter is attending college in Jackson. In addition to the title description, the hotel is quiet and has a good complimentary breakfast. Recently, the staff was very helpful when our plans changed last minute. We want to thank Pita and Tracy (hope the spelling is correct) in particular, who both helped us cheerfully and efficiently. We'll be visiting again!

The hotel was nice and the staff was nice. The sheets were not very soft but I never complained about them. I arrived at the hotel late at night and had to wake up at 4 AM to leave for the airport. Also, the water was very cloudy and left residue on my hands while I was washed for bed. I never reported this either, as I had a small window of time to sleep. I'm assuming I would have been moved to another room but I never attempted to move.

For the second time this year, I stayed at the Best Western Plus in Flowood, MS. I was impressed on my first stay and decided to stay again. I was not disappointed. Well-run operation. Very pleasant and professional staff. Centrally located for my purposes.

I have visited this hotel several times. The staff is always very nice and attentive. My room is always clean and the beds are very comfortable. Good digital cable in all rooms. Breakfast is okay but not great. Pool is a nice extra. Exercise room is very basic. Internet is good but does not always work well for streaming services. Located close to hospitals and Universites.

I just spent a few days at the Best Western Rooms were clean and the front desk staff were great but one staff stood out was Ms.Tracey she always had a kind word and did something no other hotel staff ever did was to ask ho acc my day was she. Outstanding

The hotel overall was clean and very nice even the lobby, and breakfast area. Friday night I used the small meeting room, it was not cleaned and the air-condition was not working, everything else was good.
