Extremely happy with my stay. The staff is welcoming. The entire hotel is clean. The staff is always smiling and kind. No fuss to address a issue. Truly a hotel that wants to make sure your stay was pleasant

Sunil was the gentleman that checked us in. He was wonderful, helpful and friendly. We requested a special room and we received it. The room was large and plenty of room for 2-4 people. It was clean and smelled fresh. The entrance was a little confusing, going through a gas station parking lot. It was no big deal once we figured it out. The breakfast served hot food and had a good variety. I also enjoyed the exercise room and used it daily. The room was quiet which I greatly enjoyed.

Overall one of the better hotel stay experiences we've had! Nice, clean, quiet room. Quick friendly check-in. Well stocked breakfast that was kept fresh. Parking was well lit and felt safe. Would definitely recommend!!

The room was clean and functional. They have a night light on the wall that I did not like and didn't realize until morning that I could have turned it off. Bathroom was very cleaned and well stocked. Loved that the little fridge also had a small freezer.

Very friendly staff, always ready to help and answer any questions. Superb breakfast. Manager, and front desk clerk extremely nice, Manager have a very dedicated crew. well done. very polite, no matter what time you walk in the hotel, someone is always there to greet you. i've been staying in hotels for some time now, and really did'nt get the attention like I did from this hotel.

The stay started with having to figure out that to get to the hotel, you have to first drive through the gas station in front of it. Strangest entrance to a hotel ever! Once there, I was confused by the all the weeds that were sticking up through the cracks in the pavement. For a second, I thought that the place was closed. There were two guys out front who immediately jumped up. So, I figured it must be open. One of the guys checked us in and placed us on the third floor where it would be quieter. We appreciated that. We hopped on the elevator, which clanked and banged it's way to the third floor. The hotel looked okay. Our room was big and FAIRLY clean. (See pictures.) The door to the closet did not seem to be hung right, since it did not close flush with the wall. Some of the decor was interesting, sparkly counter tops and gold shower escutcheons. Odd choices, if you ask me. Lastly, the breakfast was okay. The biscuits were hard, but the waffles were good. So, all in all, it was okay.

We received a friendly greeting as an elite member. The room was clean and comfortable but a bit worn. There were rips in the sheet curtains that should be repaired. There are no big complaints, everything is average. It is located behind a gas station so at first easy to miss. You can book here and have a good stay.

Ok. Informed them I'd have a late check in which they honored nicely. A used face towel was still in bathroom upon my arrival. Initial front desk person offered room change which i considered (room also had a slight smell to it) but my son had already layed down. So i asked if bathroom could be re-cleaned to which he said yes. No one came. Front desk next morning (said his name was Mike, no name tag on) was rude...saying "it's just a towel " when I requested bathroom to be re-cleaned. No follow through from front desk. They did not send up fresh towels. Nothing. I would have changed my room had I known they weren't going to clean it. Front desk even didn't notify cleaners the next day to prioritize my room. I got the Cleaners myself (who were pleasant, didn't fully understand English) who came immediately to service the bathroom. Even saw the cleaners after their shift who remained very pleasant. Told upon arrival hold placed on card, which is understandable. I had a three night stay. Upon check out, when I wanted to change form of payment, was told rudely by Mike that it was charged in the night. When I checked, not only was it previously charged but seemingly charged upon my arrival vs just a hold. Food was delicious. Even though I got down there late for breakfast my last day, I was pleasantly surprised that I could still get some hot food that was left and with a take out container. Hotel worked but if in the area again, will probably choose different hotel, especially since there were several other brands I trust in the area (on same block) like Hilton Garden)

Bob was great at the desk, he was very polite and informed us about all hotel amenities upon check in. Hotel is located off the Main Street so it was very quiet at night time. Breakfast was decent too.

Hotel is located behind gas station. Entrance was neat and clean. Bob at the desk was very polite and quickly checked me in. My room was clean as well. Breakfast was good. Eggs, sausage, waffles and biscuit and gravy.

Lobby was lovely, check in was smooth, room was not nearly as clean as it should be. Corners and edges were not clean, bathroom seemed to not have been cleaned with anything but a cloth for maybe days (yellow scum around drain, dirt and hair on edges of floor, mirror had dirty cloth marks, etc) which makes you wonder about the linens. This will not be a place we will stay again, not up to BW standards!

Hotel is located off the Main Street which is quite location. Spacious room with separate entertainment area is a huge plus when you travel with family. Price was very reasonable. Frontdesk staff was polite enough to help us choosing a restaurant. Definitely recommended!!

The front desk staff was excellent , very friendly. The hotel lobby was nice as was the breakfast area. I thought the breakfast was good and appreciated the 24 hour coffee. The room was on the second floor across from the elevator. The room was nicely furnished but the bathroom was not to my liking. Old fixtures in the tub and the drain didn't work well. Not the cleanest either. Seems like the room was updated recently but not the tub. The bed was firm but comfortable. I have no idea why the cable box is behind the TV, so you couldn't change the channel while laying in bed. A few paint chips off the wall too. I may or may not return the next time I'm in town.

What a pleasant surprise this hotel was after a long drive. Best Western hotels are our go to if one is available, and we are rarely disappointed. But this little hotel was as nice as some way more expensive ones we've stayed in. Good job!

When we checked in the young man at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. When we got to our room I noticed it was very modern and updated not to mention very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we had a very good night stay. The next morning the breakfast was good and we had zero complaints. We would definitely recommend staying at this hotel again.

Receptionist was really kind and made me feel welcomed. Room was very clean and nice and they even have snacks to buy ! I definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking for a place to stay I loved it here!

Check in was great. Front desk was very friendly. Room door was in dire need of WD 40. Was humid in the room when we arrived and it was due to a window partially open. We were able to get it even with the other glass but it would not lock. Also dead bugs in the track. Toilet seat didn't fit the toilet and there was dirt on the floor behind the door and under the sink counter on both sides. Tub faucet was dripping and the stopper was closed so there was water filling the tub. Closet door was warped open at the top. Yes, the entrance is updated and modern but the room itself was not. Hotel was sold out so switching rooms wasn't an option.

Did internet reservation through Best Western site while on the road to Elkhart. Registration ready for us when we arrived. Good breakfast. Close to numerous restaurants for lunches and dinner. Courteous staff. Had problem with TV that was quickly resolved by manager on duty.

We decided to stay at the Best Western Inn & Suites hotel in Elkhart before visiting the Notre Dame campus. We reserved a King suite room with kitchenette and specifically requested a room away from the elevator. Unfortunately the only suites available were directly across from the elevator. It was a little loud initially in the afternoon but quieted down in the evening. The general hotel and room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was small and had older looking fixtures. TV's were outdated as well. Breakfast was complimentary and good. The lobby was updated and modern. There was an indoor pool that was nice. Front desk workers were friendly. Decent stay for a night if you're trying to save money but there are better options in the area if you're willing to pay extra.

I wasn't disappointed in the cleanliness of the room when I first arrived. I was there for 4 days andc housekeeping never came in and cleaned the room. I had to get clean towels from the front desk. I also found the room for a lower rate than in was given and was told they wouldn't honor their prices match guarantee.

We selected this hotel because of the reviews I read. The hotel did not disappoint. All areas of the hotel including the pool were very clean. Beds were comfortable, breakfast had a nice selection. I will definitely stay again

Hotel is located just off the interstate. My room was very clean and smelled very fresh. Breakfast was pretty nice in morning and pool was a plus. Frontdesk staff was very polite and informative about area. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

I use TripAdvisor for all of my research so it only seems fitting to post an honest review. This is not a bad place to stay for someone just passing through or for one night but I do not recommend for longer stays. Here's why: Pros: Breakfast was nice even though we didn't eat there. They had a waffle maker and a hot pan with sausage eggs and bacon The location is nice. It's right behind a gas station with plenty of food options The beds were clean and the staff was friendly Cons: The hotel is kinda run down. The room was dirty with cobwebs in corners and scuffs on the walls. In the middle of the night I woke up smelling smoke. I noticed it was coming from the bathroom but there was nothing that could be causing the smell. My only thought is that someone in a nearby room was using their bathroom to smoke and had the fan on causing it to linger in the vents and drift into my room. I shut the bathroom door and that seemed to help. The smell was gone by morning. I should have called but it was 1am and I was exhausted and didn't want to pack all of my things just to switch rooms. In the morning I went to shower and pulled out the towels from the cubby only to find a pair of black underwear fall on the floor from the guest before. The cleaning crew needs to do a better job. It makes me wonder what else wasn't cleaned thoroughly. All in all it's ok and could be better with more attention but it needs improvement to be worth $99. * I mentioned the above about smoke and underwear to management when checking out but they didn't say anything. Hopefully they take care of the issue.

After reading some other reviews , I was a bit worried. But we found this hotel to be clean and a great location. There is a delicious bbq place right nearby ( smoking fattys?). Yum! Hotel was clean and quiet .

The customer service was awful and the general manager was extremely rude. We booked 8 months in advance with a discount code, 7 months after booking the hotel I received a call from the General Manager saying he would not honor our rate and we had to pay over 5x the price we were promised and booked the room at. I was very reasonable since I understood it was a busy weekend, I said I understand we cannot use the discount code but I would like to at least have the rate we would have received at the time of booking. After this, he started getting very angry and said he "could change the rate anytime he wants". I would not recommend this hotel to anyone as he also changed the price on many other people who were also staying at the hotel that night.

Our room was spotless, and the bed was great. However, there was a night light on the wall next to the bed. We would turn it off and 20 minutes or so later it would come back on again. There was no way to unplug it as it looked to be just a button on the wall. We asked the desk clerk how to turn it off. He came and looked at it and was perplexed. He said he would speak to his boss. We stayed three nights and never learned how to turn this stupid light off. We saw the desk clerk every day and he never mentioned it to us again. The breakfast is the normal one. I put creamer in my coffee and it coagulated on the top as it is wont to do when it is spoiled. We mentioned it to the woman tending the breakfast area. She opened one of the little packets, took a sip, and said, "No, it's good". So what, we are playing Russian Roulette with the creamer? It would have been nice if she had looked at the expiration date on the little containers she had put out. I was concerned that we would hear the toll road traffic since the hotel is pretty much right next to it, but we had the heat on and never heard anything. If someone had told me how to turn off that irritating light, I would have given a much higher review.

The room was spic and span clean! The bed was so comfortable! I didn't wake up with an aching back like I usually do when staying in a hotel. The staff were so nice, knowledgeable and respectful. The decor was beautiful. The breakfast area spacious, clean and well stocked. A great experience. We will definitely stay here again!

Easy booking. Good value and a clean hotel. It was easy to find and the hotel is not far off of the highway. We needed a room and it was late at night. They did all they could do to ensure we had a room that was within our budget and for that evening.

I booked reservation for my son using Best Western app to avoid issues like the one we are facing today. In reviewing my credit card shpwing 2 charges one for 491.92 . And the other for 470.40 for 2 night stay this past weekend.. The general manager said to me over the phone that I made 2 reservations and should called to cancel because they were very busy due to some football game and had to hold my room. The fact is that he refuse to listen and take care of a client who stays at Best Western several times a month every month. We were there for business as we had delivery to make in Elkhart, Indiana. I send my son confirmation # and hotel details. Upon arriving he was attended by front desk clerk to who my son provided reservation #, I don't know what happened at the clerks end but he ended up booking him another room as we had already paid for online. I called corporate office they reached out to general manager who said my son didn't provide a reservation # he walked in and made a reservation for a room which is not what happened. I made a 3 way call with my son and general manager who said that my son should said something about staying in 2 queen room because I had booked a king room. As I had told the general manager that I make all reservations as he is driving from state to state for past 18 months first time dealing with this issue and poor service. What happened to finding a solution, Taking ownership, making every effort to make this right for the client experience. Instead flat out said you aren't getting a refund for one of the rooms. Then , Why in these challenging times with racial inequality does he have to throw in the race card when I said I was going to negative review. He said it's because of your kind of people. What does that have to do with taking care of his customer and doing the right thing to refund me for 1 of the rooms. What he failed to understand as I mentioned to him, we are a business too, we aren't asking or looking for anything for free. But when dealing with the general manager who doesn't know listen and refuse to take ownership and accountability to correct this obvious error on behalf of his clerk. I am emailing and escalating to Best Western corporate President and Ceo David Kong for resolution.

Over all this was a very nice Best Western, clean, quiet, and the staff was very helpful and curtious and friendly, It is very close to resturants and the highway. Easy to find and well lit parking area.

The check in was easy and pleasant and the room was neat and clean. Even though the property is older and somewhat dated, it's well cared for. The room amenities were fine with one exception. The tub didn't have a stopper so taking a bath was difficult. The room was sizable and the bed was just as we liked it. A good place to stay. We would recommend it.

Found feces on toilet seat. Too tired after car trouble and 12,5 hours of travel to change rooms so we cleaned it off! No one answered bell at front desk on checkout to show my disgusting picture to. Another guest also rang the bell and received no response. He placed on front desk an item of clothing that was left by a previous guest so obviously his room wasn't clean leither. This was at 6:50 am.

Our room did not lock. From the inside I could use the deadbolt, but since I was planning to stay another night and didn't want to leave our luggage in an unlocked room, we had to move. Since there were so many other issues I just found a different hotel. The bathroom door didn't close. The closet door was hanging off the hinges and wouldn't close. The elevator was scary. The water pressure on the shower was terrible, so I attempted to wash my hair under the tub faucet. But the tub was so narrow that I could barely move my arms. I'm only 5'3", 130 lbs and it was too small for me! The mattress was an old spring mattress, and not at all comfortable. I have never left a hotel before in my life, but this one did it. Not worth it!

This is a very great place to stay. Very clean friendly place. Not expensive. I would highly recommend staying here. We were here during the pandemic. But didn't have to worry because you could see they were doing everything they were supposed to be doing.

Clean and comfortable. The staff always seem friendly, and it's a good deal. What else needs to be said. Ill be back. If you're a transporter parking can get a bit tight if arriving late. Another plus is it's walking distance to about anything you might need.

Hotel is in a good location with easy access to I-80 and close to a variety of restaurants. Staff was courteous and professional. Check-in was quick and smooth, and the young lady working the front desk was very helpful. Our room was very clean, and with a good shower and comfy bed. Hotel is very well-maintained and in a safe location. Looking forward to staying here again the next time we're visiting Elkhart.

I like this hotel, we've been going for years. It's always clean, the pool is almost always open and is also clean, the staff is always friendly and the price is reasonable. It is also very close to the turnpike.

Everything was great but had neighbors that was yelling,arguing and in and out rooms most of the night..besides that room was clean and pool looked nice although we didn't use it..thanks best western!

This is a gem among the number of hotels in this area. It's kind of off the path, behind a gas station. .. another bonus. There is a microwave, fridge, hair dryer and plenty of plug ins. The rooms are clean, bright and a good size. Bathtubs are very low. And easy access. Beds are a wee bit firm, but that's bony so bad. 4 pillows per bed and lots of towels. Shampoo& soap provided. Breakfast is amazing! Hot waffles! Yum! Fresh fruit. Hot coffee. Super friendly staff. Front desk and cleaning staff. Very clean and welcoming front entrance. For a few extra dollars treat yourself to this beautiful gem! They are not pet friendly. I don't know, maybe if you have a very small dog that is quiet, potty trained and doesn't shed they might say ok.... I might not hurt to ask... The down side... not much to say .. no laundry.. and our room plug seamed to have a weak breaker. The microwave kept tripping. They have one in the main lobby. So, we didn't let that ruin our stay. The laundry mat is just 3 minutes away. At a gas station. So that was pretty easy. 20$ more than some of the lower priced hotels, but WORTH THE JUMP!

Great value-exceptionally clean (and I don't say that often). Definitely following COVID guidelines with staff and cleaning. Rooms are newer and updated decor. Staff went out of their way to accommodate our reservation requests. Breakfast bar was better than continental but, not hot food. Plenty of other choices though. I will DEFINITELY stay here again. The best Western hotel is a very clean. The rooms are clean and the pool is very clean also the people are very friendly here if i ever come back to elkhart Indiana i would definitely stay at this hotel

ViJay checked us in quickly and was very helpful and friendly. Our room was very clean and also very large with a separate lounge area in addition to the bed. This hotel is less than a minute off the toll-way but we had no highway noise. It is very easy to get to and just as easy to get back on the toll way. 2 blocks away from several restaurants.

This is our second time to Elkhart. Very nice hotel. Stayed here in October 2019 and it had good beds, small pillows were not the nicest but the location is very convenient . Would recommend this hotel.

Stopped on our way from Rapid City, South Dakota and room was held for late arrival. Man at registration was really special and held the room, showed me how to work the key and even carried my bag. Quiet, beautifully decorated room with perfect mattress and choice of pillows, easily available pool, exercise facility and really looked like a new hotel. Clean, convenient location right off Route 80. Breakfast was delicious and man in charge was helpful. And hot breakfast started and was ready at 5 am. We leave early and usually miss the 6 am breakfast, so this was a really special treat at this hotel.

Nightlights on the wall were distracting, breakfast was moderately tasty omelettes were gritty like under cooked was told they come pre made “we just reheat them” and they could do nothing about the night lights (autolights on the wall)

The hotel was really nice. The rooms were well designed with great art work. It felt like being home with out the hassle of being at home. The pool looked great and didn't smell which is always nice as well.

I had an overall good experience with this property and staff and also this hotel is in a good location for nearby restaurants , the staff were very nice and polite, the hotel lobby was clean and up to date.

My family and I spent a couple nights here just for fun. It is clean and the desk attendants were friendly. The beds were a little hard for me, but I like super soft mattresses. My family slept well on them. The breakfast was yummy and had biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage patties and bacon along with the regular continental stuff. Their Maxwell House coffee was very good too. The shower was hot and adjustable. Great time!

First time at a BW in a long time. Impressed with the fresh, new look. Everything was spic and span, no wear and tear anywhere. Breakfast was tasty. All staff members were polite and professional. I will definitely stay here again. Good value. Give BW a try - I think you'll like it!!

The top 2-3" of the wall above the water in the pool was full of slime. The was enough slime that people had written their name it. Also don't stay in room 103 as the wall behind your head butts up against the breakfast dining area and the staff starts working around 2:30 am and the noise they make will wake you up. The room itself was very clean.

Overnight lodging at this location came with our tour bus package. Hotel looks to have been rehabbed recently. It aesthetically looks good (inside/out) and provides pleasant atmosphere. Clean and renovated room was far above average. Breakfast bar in morning was hot and above average. Faculty has inside pool and small exercise room. Ice machine available. You'll have to cross the street is access to a lengthy sidewalk connections if up for evening walk. This property is a good pick if you need one in this area. No restaurant on property. Several eating places across the street.

Nice and clean well lit hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Standard breakfast, the usual scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy.I didn't see one speck of dirt on the hallway floors.Or in my room for that matter. I would stay here again.

I booked 2 rooms a few days ahead of time, but made an update just a day before to get a larger room. The person who took my request was efficient and friendly. When we arrived, we found the staff to be friendly and very helpfui. The rooms were clean and breakfast was good. Thanks guys.

Stayed here for only one night, but we got a good nights rest and a decent breakfast. The room was spacious and clean. Staff was polite and check-in was fast and easy. I have nothing to complain about.

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The room was clean. I loved my good night sleep and the breakfast was ready when I was. The gentleman that checked us in made sure we had everything we needed and the man that checked us out made sure we had breakfast.

My family and I travel a lot. We have stayed in hundreds of hotels over the years. This hotel received a rating of a 9 from me and my family. We do not give this rating out very often. The check-in and check-out was great, the staff was excellent, the breakfast was good, the rooms were clean. What you expect of a hotel at this price.

Good value. Close to the interstate and easy to access. And pet friendly which is why we chose this hotel. A small up charge for pets but worth it. We traveled with a small parrot. Very clean room. We would stay here again.

We stayed two nights for a softball tournament. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. The mini fridge in the room was a wonderful surprise and so nice to have for our water!! The girls loved the indoor pool.

This was such a surprise on a night when we were exhausted. The room was clean, beautiful, and reminded me of an upscale hotel in a bigger city. The staff was very kind, the breakfast was good, and we slept great! Will be back again if the passing through.

A nice property; cordial check-in and check-out staff. Welcoming lobby. Room was clean and current; comfortable bed, but rough, scratchy towels. Appreciated BW member “welcome” treat. While breakfast was good, we were caught off-guard with a table that was totally unsafe to use... extremely wobbly - not your typical slightly uneven table leg; MUCH worse; hot beverage spilled on table. We mentioned it to breakfast attendant who said she's mentioned it to management, but no action taken. We suggested to her it should have a “DO NOT USE” note on it. When she did nothing about it, we asked the front desk young woman to make a note ... which she did promptly.

Took my grandkids to stay at the hotel or a night of relaxation. It was a very nice day the room was nice and roomy for all of us to be comfortable. The pool was great for the kids it was quite loud for anybody that was not swimming. The only thing that was missing was hot tub. The breakfast was great I would definitely stay there again

We stayed here one night on the way to Washington DC. Very conveniently located off the interstate. We had 4 teenagers/young adults with us so got a room for 6. The room had two queen beds and a sleeper sofa. The sofa wasn't really big enough for two teenagers so one slept in a sleeping bag on the floor. The sofabed was also pretty squishy, but fine for a 14 yo. The other beds were very comfortable. Room was very clean. Shower hot. Full breakfast was excellent. The breakfast area was also very clean and was kept well-stocked. Would stay here again.

Nice room, nice linens, direct TV, tub/shower was a little older but clean, provided shampoo and conditioner, hand soap and bath soap, room temp was easy to control. Breakfast was always hot and ready.

Nice hotel, conveniently located near the freeway and restaurants. Clean rooms and a variety of hot and cold items for breakfast. The staff is very professional and I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

I had not stayed at a BW for many years. I was very pleasantly surprised! The lobby, pool, room were all so much better than I expected. The bed & shower were both excellent! The quality of this hotel was what I would expect from a much more expensive hotel. The breakfast was great and the front desk attendant was very helpful & friendly. I will happily stay here again.

In town for the night and the price was right. The room was clean and really that's all that matters for a one night stay. Sure there are small cosmetic issues in the room but in the end, everything worked, and it's a comfortable stay for the night. I'm not living there were it would bother me. Would definitely stay again.

I stayed in this hotel 4 or 5 times this season I'm I never had a problem Before until this last time they told me I have to leave at 10:00am i wasn't happy about that I don't think I would stay here again

The hotel was beautiful and the price was fair. Upon returning from a wedding we found our door not latched and there was a bath mat in my duffle bag that phone charger was missing from. Management failed to contact me. Customer service did not resolve issue. Refridgerator buzzed so sleep was not great.

We have been to this hotel after long time back. It's look like a new management, the entire working team was really good people, without hesitation they help all the time when ever we request. Their room are really spacious and well arranged, at the same very neat and clean too.. Morning breakfast was simply awesome, lot of verities and they had 24 h fresh coffee too.Thank to Best Western and their team. .

We enjoyed our time at this hotel. Staff was very friendly and nice! We stayed in the whirlpool king room and it was a nice room for the price. We were satisfied with our stay. The lobby and pool was very clean too. The coupons in lobby for where to eat was very helpful. Definitely try out Chubby Trout restaurant!

Stayed here on a bus trip. Service was great and staff were friendly. Rooms included tv, microwave and refrigerator. It also had a couple of night lights on the wall, a real plus. Breakfast was typical. Place was clean.

Bed bugs! Stay away! Stayed in rm 315 and woke up with about 20 bites. Saw a couple of them still crawling in the bed in the daylight. Sooo Disgusting! Told the manager and he could care less. Do not stay there.

Stayed at the Elkhart Best Western at Elkhart, IN Monday, September 10. Very bad experience. No. 1, staff delivered our bags to the wrong room. We were on a bus tour. No. 2, we found two very large spiders in the bed. Called desk and asked for another room. They said all rooms were taken. Found out in the morning there were empty rooms. Staff came and made a feeble attempt at cleaning the room. No. 3, we found a empty potato chip bag between the mattress and the headboard. If they had made any effort at cleaning the room they would have found the chip bag. We would not stay at this motel if you paid us. We would rate it a minus 10 at best.

My husband, and I , are frequently in Elkhart, on business. This is the hotel we stayed at everytime. It's located near the highway, and many dining choices. The rooms are very clean and nicely appointed. The beds comfortable. There is a breakfast included. I'm a very fussy eater, but my husband really enjoys it.

The exit where this hotel is located has plenty of choices for lodging, restaurants etc. We chose the Best Western to earn points for a future stay. The hotel is somewhat back from the main road and if you miss the sign you might have to turn around. Breakfast was included with adequate choices.

We were given a warm welcome, the man at the desk was very helpful and kind. The room was comfortable and restful and the breakfast was great. We prefer Best Western because their quality is almost always consistent.

The hotel looks very nice once u walk in, however don't try checking in before 2pm or they will charge you $25 early check in fee even if ur in the rewards program. Let's start with the bad. The bad issues - ur key keeps getting de-magnetized and had to keep going to get a new one. Second - parking is awful in the evening. There wasn't enough parking for everyone staying in the hotel. Lastly - the beds are clean but hard as a rock. It's like ur sleeping on a stone slab. Ask for the 3rd floor bc if u have someone over u making noise at night u will hear them. The good -the breakfast was good but not Very many options for people that need gluten free food. Also the only drinks they offer is coffee, apple juice and orange juice. They need to offer water. The small indoor pool is nice.

The hotel tried to charge me twice for one room. That was fixed after a trip to the desk. The drains in the tub and sink drain very slow. Room was clean. Wifi was slow, do you remember dial up? That's about how fast it was.

Although we did not stay here as originally planned the manager and his staff were extremely helpful with our unforeseen change in itinerary. We have stayed at many Best Westerns prior to this and they have all been excellent.

coming home from a road trip to ocean city md, stopped at BW elkhart on thur 7-12 for 1 night. check in was quick and efficient. pool was nice, room was very clean and comfy with fridge and microwave. breakfast was great with eggs, meat, biscuits and gravy. hotel was quiet, close to restaurants with convenience store in front of hotel.overall, very nice, will stay there aain when in Elkhart

I was a little disappointed as it was a bare bones hotel. The breakfast the next morning was very simple, usual fair hotel food. Powdered eggs, boiled eggs, yogurt, waffle maker, etc. The room--the beds were comfortable and clean, the shower clean, and while we didn't swim in the pool, it appeared clean with chlorine. We worked out in their little gym and that was okay, as well. Fruit water in the lobby. My only reason I said it was fair instead of good is EACH night you couldn't get in your room as the card wouldn't work and we had to go back to the desk for them to reprogram a new card. The manager said it was because we kept the card in our bag too close to a cell phone?! I've always kept my card by my phone in every hotel I've stayed in and never had it happen before--also everyone on our bus tour had the same problem. Hmmm.

Kudos to VJ at the front desk. Friendly & welcoming, I was made to feel like my business was valued. Check-in was quick & efficient, very much appreciated after a long day on the road. Automated lobby doors made bringing in the luggage cart so much easier. Room door held itself open by means of a magnetic doorstop, wow! Might seem like a little thing but it sure was handy. My room was lovely, spotless and nicely appointed with contemporary furnishings. Already nicely cooled off ~ so often I'll walk into a hotel room that is hot & stuffy & takes forever to cool down but that was not the case here. Fridge/micro & flat screen TV w/Direct TV & dozens of channels to choose from including TWC & TCM. Free wifi with strong signal enabled me to quickly get some work done online. Appreciated the side table at the desk and easily accessible electrical outlets in the base of the table lamps. Bedside clock had USB outlets, yay !!! Generous supply of towels. Bed was very comfortable with triple sheeting and lots of fat, fluffy pillows. Pool looked inviting. Express checkout with receipt under the door next morning. Didn't partake of much of the continental but it looked good too with hot & cold offerings including fresh fruit & a crock pot of oatmeal with all the fixin's. There were lots of tables but the best was a high table bar with stools and lots of outlets so you could even plug in to charge and easily use electronics during breakfast. Fantastic value and I would happily stay here again, but double check prices cuz I stayed on a Wed and it was $27 less than Thurs-Sat rates :-)

We stayed here for a Notre Dame graduation and it was as awesome! I have to admit, I was a little nervous passing The Diplomat hotel next door (classic dive motel) but this hotel is pristine. Looks newly built or renovated, super clean, and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend!

Very nice and clean. Good value for the money. Hotel is tucked in behind a convenience store and car wash, entrance is not real obvious. Once you find it , getting in isn't a problem. We will stay there in the future.

We stopped here unexpectedly after our vehicle broke down. The room was a great value for the price ($71). I've stayed in hotels that cost more and look worse. The room seemed to be recently remodeled. It was decorated in calming blue and silver tones. It looked modern and clean. The mattress and pillows were comfortable and the room was sufficiently dark for sleeping well. The shower had good pressure. The bathroom was roomy and clean. But the thing that impressed me the most was the genuine care and friendliness of the manager at the front desk. I've actually never left a review for a hotel, but I wanted to make sure to leave a good word about this Best Western. I would definitely stay here again. I recommed it highly.

Nice clean room. Good beds. Tub needed resurfaced soon, only bad thing our room had no curtains to darken room and light from parking lot shone right in window and lite up room like daylight all night. Breakfast was just OK, no milk, no OJ and especially no help.

Traveling on business I stayed for a night and had a great stay! Hotel is really nice inside with friendly staff. Room was large with nice comfy beds, very clean, bathroom clean with everything I needed. Would recommend for a great night's stay!

Incredibly pleased with the staff and the remodeled must have been fairly recent. We had a situation that was remedied very quickly. I would definitely stay here again if the opportunity presented itself. I liked the breakfast selection.

This hotel had a sandwich bar with chips and drinks for us when we arrived. The rooms were comfortable with flat screen TV's, nice white comforters with blue throws on the queen beds, refrigerators and microwaves, and nice bathrooms. The breakfast was not very large for our 52 people on the bus. We could get cereal, rolls, biscuits and gravy and a few more items.

The room was very pleasant and the bed was wonderful with wonderful pillows. The tub didn't drain very well but the bathroom was large. The pool was a little questionable. There were some things floating in it when we got there and their was a film on top. The floor of the pool was peeling.

This was an amazing hotel. So many things to do near and around this Elkhart location. Easy on and off the highway. I was on my way to Chicago and this location was perfect for me to stop over for the night. The front desk personnel was amazing. Very friendly and efficient. The room was very quiet and comfortable. I truly enjoyed my stay.

This Best Western had just been remodeled and was very clean and well decorated. The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was over the top. We will recommend this Best Western to our family and friends. And the Chubby Trout is right across the street, another plus as this is a very very good restaurant/pub with more friendly people.

Had a great night's sleep and breakfast. Staff is great. I haven't traveled in a while and forgot how nice best westerns can be. Of all the choices out there, this chain has consistently stood up to its name.

Friendly welcome and room assigned was right next to elevator. We returned to front desk and exchanged for a room further down the hall. Room, bed and bathroom were average along with clean and comfortable. Air-conditioner was blessedly quiet. Free breakfast was average and enough variety to choose from. Easy access from Interstate 90. We like Best Western in general as they are not too hard on the wallet and most locations we have stayed with are fairly acceptable with no issues.

We were returning from a trip to Missouri. This hotel was convenient to the freeway and was clean and quiet. The staff were very accommodating. It was also only one block from the Chubby Trout which was an excellent restaurant.

I stayed at this Best Western twice in the last couple of months. The hotel is quiet and the beds are comfortable. There is a decent breakfast included, and good internet and a reasonable selection of television channels. The entrance to the hotel is a bit difficult to locate, as it is behind and shares a driveway with a gas station/Subway restaurant. This is a great place to stay if you are driving through on the Interstate,

Suite bed unmade with no knowledge of their "policy." Nothing was done to fix the problem or make it better. I was traveling to my mom's funeral with another couple and got a suite to stay together. The pull out bed was unmade and when I called the front desk was met with

This hotel was great. It was clean, the rooms were new, the bed comfortable, the staff was friendly, it had a good breakfast and check-in and check-out were fast. The price was fair and I would stay here again.

I had a really nice stay. My family and I stayed for a week and have no complaints. The night front desk agent was very pleasant and helpful. The room was affordable and nice in size. The hotel is clean and updated. The housekeeping attended to my room every day and really did a fantastic job; beds were made each morning, bathroom was cleaned with fresh towel, and the room was vacuumed and dusted. I enjoyed my stay so much I decided to enroll in the rewards program. I look forward to staying at more Best Westerns.

This hotel isn't terrible for its category. It's clean enough and the price is generally fair. However, a few issues were encountered that bothered me and might bother others. First, as other reviewers have mentioned, they appear to turn off the AC in unoccupied rooms. This leads to a hot and humid arrival for guests. This may also lead to the dank odor in both the rooms and the hallway. Second, the towels and sheets don't appear to be washed in hot water, bleach, or quality detergent. All were gray and not crisp. Third, they have the TV/DirectTV in the gym wired so that it powers off when the light is turned off (and it turns off automatically after 10-15 minutes of non-activity in the gym). This means that the DirectTV has to power up and get a signal before you can watch TV during your workout. This process can take 10 or more minutes. Fourth, our room's door did not automatically shut as most hotel room doors do when you leave a room. Surely the maid service has informed the management by now (?). These may be little things to some, but they add up. My advice to management is to stop trying to cut corners for small savings. You're in the hospitality industry and your guests' quality of stay is what will bring you a better reputation and profitability. Final note: I noticed Best Western awarded this hotel several quality awards over the years. If this hotel is representative of Best Western's standards, I should probably avoid staying at this corporation's franchises.

FYI: You pull into a gas station and drive back to the hotel. Check-in was fast. The gal wasn't familiar with our CLC card, but it was fixed! The room was already open when we got to the door. The room was very spacious. Nice finishings. 2 beds, both comfy. Linens were clean and had no stains. Coverlet was thin, needed extra blanket. Figured out why door was open....room needed towels....(told at check out they had new towels and were washing them. They apologized for not stocking the room.) Not a big deal, we were there for only one night. The bathroom was clean and had a nice large vanity. The bedside table was missed as was the lamp. The table has fingerprints and sticky stuff and the lamp has a large cobweb going from it to the ceiling. So, housekeeping missed a few things. We travel with cleaning wipes, done. WiFi was spotty. Had a hard time connecting and/or staying connected. TV was a good size for the room and had a nice channel line-up. There was a small fridge and microwave as well. Parking for workers would be tight when full. Overall a nice place. We would stay again!

Very easy to get to from the Indiana Toll Road. Take a right off the exit and then take a right at the gas station. Actually it feels like you are turning into the gas station, however the driveway runs right next to it. We filled up with gas and then went out back to the hotel. The next morning we were all gassed up and ready to go. The hotel was clean and the room was very nice. There is an elevator to the upper floors which makes it easy to bring in bags. The staff were all very friendly and professional. I would have given them 4.5 stars if it were possible. The only thing that I wasn't pleased with was the breakfast. That particular morning it was sausage and gravy which didn't excite me(admittedly a personal preference). I did end up having a hard boiled egg which seemed to be the popular choice that day. That being said I would stay there again if our timing worked out. I would probably make other arrangements for breakfast.

This hotel was clean and comfortable. It is well located next to multiple restaurants and across the street from an Aldi. It was convenient to go get groceries. The pool was clean with warm water. Great stay!

We have stayed at this Best Western about 5 times. We have always enjoyed our stay and been pleased with the room and staff. It is close to dining and shopping. There is a gas station next to the hotel.

My family and I stayed here on our way out east. I had called them to let the front desk know that we would be in late. They were very accommodating and friendly even though we arrived after midnight. The room was spacious and clean. It appeared as though the hotel had been updated recently. Decent pool and fitness room. Breakfast was a typical continental with hot food choices. Would stay here again if we were in the area.

My niece fell in front of the front desk because the girl had just mopped floor and no wet floor signs. The girl at the desk did not react to my niece falling or anything. When we came out later to go to dinner there was sign saying wet floor and a fan. Told her she should have had the sign there before and she said "what sign". Never asked how niece was again. Very unprofessional clerks there with Addidass t shirt on and no name badge. Wrote to General Manager, Priya Patel, and no response!!! Don't use this hotel. Girl at check out was not any friendlier. Never said anything to me when I handed in room keys and only a quick thank you. Not even how was your stay or anything!!!!

I love this place I stayed for one night and I was blown away by the exceptional customer service here!! The staff is so nice, everything is nice and clean!! Very modern updates!!! We arrived at our hotel at about 3:30 in the afternoon. The temp outside was 93 with a heat index of 105 degrees. They were expecting us, we had reserved our room weeks in advance. Yet on this simmering June day we entered a sweltering hotel room. Gosh, would it have been too much to have the air on in the room? ONE ice machine in the whole hotel, on the first floor near the elevator. Oh, the one and only elevator. Breakfast ends at 9am. Show up at 9:05 and the food is gone, no leftovers, no bread crumbs. Thank God there was still coffee. Now I know we were late for the deadline but surely the leftover eggs and such could stay out for a few minutes, don't put out more but would it hurt you to leave the leftovers for a minute? They have recently renovated the rooms and they look nice, they do. But customer service is sadly lacking.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and had a very restful night. We always stay at a Best Western when we have a choice. We have never had any problems at these hotels.

The toilet did not flush properly. There was no attendant for the breakfast. out of waffle mix orange juice and bananas. the desk looked for waffle mix and left without finding any. The desk clerk was notified in the morning about the problem with the toilet but it was not attended to while we were there.

If you are thinking about going to Notre Dame to visit or going to a football game, I would highly recommend the Best Western in Elkhart. Extremely convenient and clean. This motel offers everything you could want. My wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay.

This was a very nice and clean hotel and it was updated and modern. The hotel staff was very friendly. We stayed for a Rugby tournament so the hotel was pretty full.. There were a lot of high school girls running in and out and the staff kept the free breakfast well stocked. The only recommendation I have is to schedule more than one employee at the front desk. On Saturday night, one employee worked the front desk (I think she was the only employee in the hotel) and if you needed something you rang a bell. She took care of everything including checking people in, pool towels, room supplies etc. We observed a couple with a small child who waited over 10 minutes before the staff member came to the front desk to check them in. It wasn't until one of the guests called the hotel to report someone had been waiting to check in that got the attention of the worker. Despite the "high demand" from guests that evening, the employee was still very pleasant and helpful! Very good location in Elkhart-close to highway and restaurants.

We stayed here for one night at the Best Western in Elkhart after a long day of travel. We had a king suite which was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It's easy in the dark to miss this hotel as it is located in behind a Phillips 66 gas station and difficult to see from the road. Parking was free and lots of parking spaces. Breakfast was included which was a basic Best Western buffet. There was adequate area for seating but the hotel was full that night and the breakfast area was extremely busy in the morning. We would stay here again.

My 4-night stay at Best Western in Elkhart IN went without a hitch. The staff (front desk, hotel manager, and room cleaners) was extremely accommodating and kind. When I checked in, the hotel manager informed me that the rooms were recently remodeled. I was really pleasantly surprised with how nice my room's layout and decor was! The bed was also comfortable. If ever my business travels take me back to Elkhart, I would definitely return to this hotel!

After arriving home I am still amazed at the gracious and warm feeling of this hotel. After the many hours of being on the road, and many more to go, the manager was so helpful. It was like being at a friend's home. She was so kind. I would definitely stay in this hotel again. Absolutely perfect in every way!

The Hotel Staff and their attention to details bring me back...I have stayed at this hotel once or twice a week... every week for the last year. Every time I check into a room it has been immaculately cleaned and re-supplied completely. The beds, sheets and pillows are new, clean and incredibly comfortable. The large flat screen television, refrigerator, microwave, desk and furnishings are all new and make my stays an absolute pleasure!!! I enjoy fresh air and all rooms have functioning windows with screens. There are multiple restaurants within walking and short drive distances available.

We recently stayed at this hotel for a ND football weekend. Like most hotels in the area, it has a 2 night minimum during ND home games. We booked the hotel sight unseen on Trip Advisor. I was a little concerned since some of the reviews weren't that good, however, this is a very good hotel, especially for its price point. Staying in Elkhart, I learned, is much cheaper than staying in South Bend or Mishawaka on game weekends. The hotel was clean and appears to have been recently renovated. Beds were comfortable and clean and the hotel staff was very friendly. The breakfast was typical for hotels of this class--a variety of pastries and cereals with a couple of hot entrees and, of course, the ubiquitous waffle maker! The food was good and plentiful and the staff kept the breakfast buffet well supplied. No complaints whatsoever. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to visit Notre Dame or just passing through.

I have stayed at this Best Western many times in the past and they never cease to meet my standards. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very personable! The beds are extremely comfortable and I'm always guaranteed a great night's sleep. The indoor heated pool is always a great feature, as I usually travel with my two kids and they LOVE it! Every morning they have a complimentary hot breakfast available, and that is a major perk when traveling! The staff was very accommodating when I need a late check out and promptly handled any requests that I had throughout the duration of my stay. I loved the convenient access of the business center and enjoyed the relaxed pace the hotel provided.

On the way to Elkhart, there are numerous billboards stating that there are over 1400 rooms in Elkhart-I would pick one of the other 1200 rooms and avoid this way overpriced hotel. The hotel was generally clean and the housekeeping staff was very helpful, however the front desk was rather rude and not helpful. I understand that all business within a 3o mile radius of Notre Dame capitalize on football weekends, but I don't think I have ever paid so much for so little in my life.

This Hotel is a very great place to stay. With it being right off the toll road it is very convenient. Free hot breakfast was very good and fresh. The morning, Afternoon, and Night shift workers are all excellent with guests and go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. Pool was very clean. No complaints what so ever. Would rate 10/10 if possible. Highly recommend anyone traveling in the area stay at this hotel.

It was after a very long day of travel that we finally arrived at the Best Western Inn and Suites in Elkhart. From the very moment we walked in the stay could not have been better. Anessa was amazing, efficient and welcoming! The facilities were all outstanding. Even the breakfast the next day was groovy! Thank you for taking care of us. Peace!

This is the best value in the area. Very clean and well appointed. Has the feel of a much more expensive motel. Great staff. I have stayed in many of the other motels in the area but none better for the value. Very happy and will return the next time I am in the area.

The hotel is in a great location almost right off of highway 80. It is on what seems like the main strip, but surprisingly quite and comfortable. The building seems newly renovated. The room was very comfortable. The beds were amazing, super soft. The breakfast was really good, we loved the eggs and sausage. Super friendly and helpful staff. We will defiantly stay again.

If you are heading to the South Bend / Notre Dame area, skip the football crowds and stay in Elkhart at the Best Western. You will not be disappointed. The rooms are recently renovate and look great. The owners are usually onsite and will greet as a part of the family who are having you to their home for the weekend not someone just renting a room.

The title says it all. I always stay at this hotel when I am in the area. You cant go wrong. More than you can count nearby places to eat and shop. Plus it's literally right off the toll road. The hotel had a recent remodel of all the rooms. Truckers and RV haulers the parking can be tight so you should call first.

Very nice Hotel, Average prices, average discounts, very nice rooms, we had a king suite, love how they have a shade that pulls down on window, carpet was clean, furniture was clean, bed was very nice, only complaint was not a thick enough blanket ,you can ask for another one. didn't hear any traffic noises we were on front of building. Apparently this hotel has been renovated in the past couple years.....you can tell. However, it is not being maintained adequately!! Some examples is the general odor of the lobby(dank and musty), the fan cover in the bathroom hanging down and the crud in the elevator floor. Don't waste your money....there are other hotels for the same money that would be comparable

The location was right off the interstate and easy to find. Just a few problems with the room and service. The room smelled like it had just been painted but it was not overly bad. The bathroom door didn't shut all the way and therefore wouldn't lock. I could use my finger to show them all over where they needed to dust and also left them a note about it, There wasn't enough towels in the bathroom for the occupancy of the room, so we had to ask for more, and were given bath mats instead of towels, but didn't find that out until we took a shower. I was disappointed with my stay. I usually don't have issues that are not taken care of at a Best Western. But I'm not sure if I will stay at this one again. I didn't feel like I was welcome their. Just people doing what they have to for their job.

This was a trip to Shipshewana to the Flea Market and other shops. We take our Grandchildren some place before the go back to school in the fall. They really like the local people and and learn a lot about other Cultures. The Elkhart Best Western is right in the middle of the things we wanted to do.

We had a nice stay at the hotel. Was my first time in Indiana. Wish we had more time to visit the state as I'm sure there would have been some cool hotspots for us girls. I took my friend on a road trip where the destination was not the point but the journey was. Glad we enjoyed ourselves.

Steve checked us in. We were impressed with his friendly, charming personality. We felt that he really cared about our comfort. The Room was pleasant and clean, the bed was very comfortable. We will be sleeping here again when we are in the area. Shopping is convenient if you forgot to pack essentials.

The room was 82 degrees on a 95 degree day. Towels were as thin as the coffee was watery. I like BW this one, not so much. Sometimes you buy a book based on the author, hoping its at least as good as the last one. I will say the A/c system was far superior once turned on the other BWs. It was not noisy which allowed a decent sleep. We did use the two soap slivers, one shampoo and the hand towel provided for us.

My family and I stayed in 4 rooms for three nights. After my first day, I asked for housekeeping twice (housekeeper and called front desk) and were told that they would come back later. I returned from my grandmother's birthday celebration to a room that had not been cleaned. I informed the front desk and they had no answer for me. I requested towels and some type of cleaner so that I could clean my tub. I also needed to get rid of trash that was left in my room. Also upon returning that same night we did not have a place to park due to large trucks and trucks with trailers that took up 6 parking spaces. I was also told by management that I would receive points for my inconvenience but did not happen. Also upon arrival my sister paid by cash and her credit card was charged even after she talked to the front desk.

Slightly set back from the road by the gas station but the facility was clean, modern and excellent condition. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The morning breakfast was in a very well presented area and the food quality and quantity by far exceed other Best Westerns. Thank you.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Best Western Inn & Suites. The rooms were lovely and the employees were helpful as well. I am definitely going to stay here again sometime and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone searching for a hotel to stay at.

I stayed in the Best Western last week on a Saturday night when they were quite busy. The hotel is located on one of the main streets near the interstate, but is set back behind a gas station. It was quiet - we didn't notice traffic noise at all. It is conveniently located near many restaurant choices (within easy walking distance). Our room was nicely decorated in a calm grey color scheme with some really nice wall art. The beds were super comfortable - yay! and the A/C for once was actually quiet. Friendly people at the front desk and a quick spot for breakfast before hitting the road in the morning - well supplied, and someone was right on it if an item ran low. I would definitely stay here again. The only reason I wouldn't give it a five was that we noticed the carpet in the hall was seriously wrinkled - like it had stretched - and needed repair.

Great for access to local RV manufactures. The hotel was only a few minutes from the Cargo Mate factory where I had to make a pick up. It is also close to many other trailer manufactures. Any one making a pick up in Elkhart will find this hotel very convient.

We had three rooms for three days. There was 11 of us. Breakfast everyday was fresh and was restocked as needed. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and have been recently updated.

We stayed at other BWs while on our 2-week road trip so it seemed like a no-brainer to stay here. The quiet hotel is conveniently located right off the highway behind a gas station (quick fuel-up in the morning). Breakfast was super yummy! Check-in was a breeze--even at midnight. The fitness center has Dumbbells and a weight machine plus cardio machines. Now here's why I gave it an average rating: the sink stopper was broken so water drained slowly, the heater was on when we walked into our room which made the room uncomfortable at first, body lotion was not provided (other BWs provided this), towels are scratchy and well-used, and the light on our phone kept blinking all night but there was no voicemail button. The most annoying part of our experience was the housekeeping guy. He knocked on our door at 0900 and I told him we'd be out by 1100 (check-out time). At 1040, he knocked on our door once and then proceeded to use his key card to open it. My husband was just getting out of the shower so that was awkward. We paid for our room until 11AM but felt as if the hotel was trying to rush us out. It's a horrible feeling, especially since we got in at midnight and needed our rest. Please tell your housekeeping folks to leave guests alone until check-out time. The front desk could also set-up a walkie talkie system where they let housekeeping know when people check-out. This would prevent them from walking in on guests as they get out of the shower. This hotel is good for one or two nights but as it is now, I wouldn't stay longer than that.

Hotel is behind a gas station but is very nice & quiet. Restaurants and services & freeway nearby. Very good front desk service. Pool is small but refreshing. Hot tub also available. Walking distance to restaurant.

I believe that other guests either got a different remodeled section of the hotel, or they just plain over-rated it. The carpet in the hallways was old and tired, however, when I got into my room, it was clean, if a bit minimalistic in décor. The bed sheets were bleached, but the bath linen was dingy and unbleached. When I opened the refridgerator, I found someone else's Steak-n-Shake leftovers and a half-gallon of milk. My single night stay was a bargain, but I won't stay here with my family on a return trip this summer.

I would like to say thank you for the great service and accommodation you gave me while I stay there at the Best Western elkhart indiana northside The breakfast was always fresh and garentee and the lady at the front desk day shift was incredible. She went well beyond when it came to making sure her guess we're all taken care of and their needs. Also I would like to personally thank you for calling to make sure I arrive back in florida safely, not once . But, I believe another member of her family call the next day to make sure I arrive home safe and sound. That was the first time anyone has call from a motel to make sure I was home safe, that really touch me. Anyways I would recommend if your in elkhart indiana or close to there you might want to pick their hotel to stay in. The place is really clean and kept up and there is a exercise room with indoor pool and like I said if they don't have what you need I'm sure the staff there will try to accommodate you. Check-in was very fast. Room was excellent with no problems for the 2 day stay. Wish the pool had a hot tub. Not a direct driveway into hotel, had to go thru a gas station to get to it. needs a bigger sign to turn off highwasy to get noticed.

We stayed here two nights. Priya and her husband quickly learned who everyone was by name and made us feel very welcome. The lobby offers pleasant seating, a cozy fireplace, and free USA Today newspapers. There is also free wifi . The beds were comfortable, had large TV, refrig, and many amenities.The rooms were very clean and quiet, even with renovations underway!The complimentary breakfast has numerous fruit and protein options, among many offerings. Just so you know,the depth of the sparkling clean indoor pool is 3 ft-5 ft with ladder style entry/exit from the pool. This instant depth could be a bit more challenging for those with small children.The water was warm, no chill upon entering! There is a swim chair readily available for those with disabilities. Pool hours are 10 a.m.-10 p.m. This property is in a very good location right off I-90 & I-80 , with numerous dining and shopping options within walking distance. An excellent value for the price -with tax under $75 per night ( maybe discounted while renovations are underway?)We may have used AAA or AARP discounts but I am not sure. It is also an easy drive of about 20-25 minutes from the University of Notre Dame. We will be back! Tip #1: Look for the driveway right next to the gas station. The hotel is next door to the Steak 'n Shake restaurant and right behind the gas station/Subway shop. Tip #2 : This pool within sight of the lobby, is without a lifeguard. Parents might enjoy the pool more and worry a bit less by bringing US Coast Guard approved life jackets for their beginner/non-swimming children. It makes playing in the water more fun for all because the parent's hands can be free to twirl and play with the "swimmers".)

When arriving to the hotel, staff member was on a private call that never ended during check in. Linens were old and ragged. Hotel condition was very rough and well used. Breakfast was offered but all containers were empty or not working correctly. Staff never offered to assist. No hello or good bye when entering the building.

Was told they had pool and hot tub no hot tub just a heated pool that was hard to get in and out of it only has small steps on the inside of the wall on liner dark and unclean. For breakfast nothing was working except for the cereal . Out of coffee, juice when asked if they had more the guy seemed upset that he had to get off his phone/ computer was Told they were doing construction on 2nd and 3 rd floors but seemed to be done with most I would choose some were else if it's for a family wouldn't do my daughter's birthday there next year

They are in the renovation process, so give them a little slack. We took a chance after reading a lot of mixed reviews and were.glad we did. They were more than willing to meet our requests. Very quiet and a good nights rest.

A family member lives in Indiana that became very ill. There were 10 of us that needed a place right of the toll road. Meena & the other staff were very courteous & compassionate. They are in the middle of remodeling & we got 3 rooms together, that were updated & clean. We had the opportunity to use the work out room & the swimming pool. No complaints at all. The breakfast was always fresh & hot. If you need a place right off the toll road, this is the place to stay. It is right in the middle of restaurants & all different types of stores. We will be going again in the near future and we will be staying there because of the hospitality & price.

We decided to stay here for the night on our way to Chicago and we were happy we did! It seemed like they were renovating as the lobby looked updated and we were lucky to enough to get a updated room as well. They did a good job on the renovations as the rooms were clean and looked more modern. I would recommend this hotel for anyone if you are on I-90 and need a place to stay. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good as well.

The rooms are newly renovated, excellent customer service, and breakfast is very good. The rooms are very clean and the room was up to standards. Overall, the stay was great, had no issues at all, and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff was always friendly and repeatedly went out of their way to serve. They are in the middle of upgrading the units and it was obvious that our unit had just been completed and was very nice. The located, just off of the toll road, made it easy to get to everywhere we needed to go. There are good restraints close and the Subway next door was great for a quick sandwich. The continental breakfast was fresh and well stocked.

i am truckdriver who stays twice a week. people at front desk always friendly and help me with computer as i am not very computer literate. rooms are nice,comfortable beds good cable selection on TV,good breakfast. It is my home away from home as I stay there so often

The lady at the front desk went out of her way to make sure her guests were comfortable. You don't often get that level of customer service anymore. I certainly recommend this hotel to anyone. Very clean, good breakfast.

Staff were so friendly, made me feel like home. Management husband and wife team were great. I will be going back for sure when in town. Food, gas etc... very close. Highway close by to get on and off.

We stayed here with a school group. Hotel was clean with very comfortable beds. It was a very good value, better than others in the area. Breakfast was included in the rate. Breakfast was very good and had hot and cold items.

This was a good stop on the road for a night, very quiet motel and very quiet AC/heater unit, which is a real plus. The room was large, the bathroom was mostly updated, lighting was good, breakfast was good with hot choices, front desk staff was cordial. There were a few glitches: drapes in the room did not cover the very thin curtains allowing lights to shine through, some things in the room were dusty, the shower looked like it had been caulked with a shovel and looked old , and there were not enough warm covers on the bed for winter weather. Luckily we had a two queen bed room and were able to use the covers from the other bed to supplement. We did not try the wifi, the cable TV had minimal channels. Would we stay again? probably, for the same price.

My husband and I stay here enroute when we visit our son and family. It's wonderful to pull off the highway and go a few hundred yards to our overnight stop. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, and it's quiet. Breakfast finishes at 9:00 am but that is okay for 99% of travelers. The pool is great if you arrive and want to take a plunge. My only negative was that there were no cooked eggs for breakfast except cold hard boiled eggs or a ready to heat packaged roll with sausage, egg and cheese. I think the breakfast could have been a little more imaginative.

Hotel/Motel is being refurbished with very nice appointments. Excellent stay. Very, very clean with helpful and attentive staff. Will stay again and recommend to others as an excellent motel on a thrifty budget.

We choose to stay here because of the family approach by the staff to caring for us. We come several times a year to visit family. There are other Best Western's available but, we have found this one to be the best.

We were looking for a nice hotel with a budget price and the lady at the front desk made it happen. She was able to find a way to reduce the rack rate to one that was manageable for us. We really appreciated her help. The room had two queen beds and decorated very nicely. Breakfast was spectacular with packaged egg and sausage sandwiches some of which were on a pretzel roll. Scrambled eggs, sausage links, cereal, waffles, yogurt, fresh fruit and more. Great value and a very pleasant stay. Would return if we needed a room in the area.

Attending a Notre Dame football game and the pricing for this location was outrageous. Our floor was under renovations and check in was an obstacle course getting to our room. Chairs in room were broken and dangerous to sit in. Door didn't have a workable security lock for night time. Toilet ran on continually after flushing. Reported the issues to staff and chairs were removed with no replacements provided. Toilet continued to run on. Getting up in the night, had to wait five minutes to ensure the toilet would shut off properly. Hot breakfast was eggs and sausage and personally witness staff heating the food up in the microwave which all guests were using. Com'on man!

Stayed here with family for ND weekend. Staff was very helpful, hotel was clean! A good deal all in all. Hotel was easily accessible to major highways. It was also close to restaurants and Notre Dame. All in all a great trip.

It wasn't too bad. No cleaning service on Saturday and when I explained this to the desk, they said that the maid service had cleaned the room. No management on Sunday, nothing they could do for us. What a joke!! We will probably never stay here again.

Stayed two nights for a family wedding. We've stayed at this hotel several times in their nicely remodeled rooms and the free breakfast is one of the nicer ones with a good selection. Their were a couple of little housekeeping issues this trip but were corrected when reported. A good value for the money and easy to get to; right off the toll road exit surrounded by restaurants etc.

Lobby was clean and remodeled. Carpeting in halls and rooms (we had three rooms) was worn, soiled, and some holes. Towels were thin and grey. Lobby bathroom was filthy. We stayed there last year when owners were remodeling; however, we thought conditions would be improved one year later--especially rooms. Sheets were clean. Internet did not work properly, and TV channels were fuzzy.

great location to stay for game weekends . close to highway and plenty of restaurants. the staff was very nice. we left an item in the room and carlos found it and was going to have it shipped to us. also stephanie at thr fromnt desk was very freindly and recommended a pizza place near by as we were too tired to eat out.

Good place to stay, rooms are clean and comfortable, beds are comfortable, staff is courteous and attentive. Breakfast choices or food options are below average, we have stayed her a few nights in the past 2 years and enjoyed our stay.

The motel looks great. new remodel was done nicely. I had a problem with the bathtub but they were extremely prompt to take care of it. The rooms are spacious and well laid out. The staff were very courteous and helpful. I will stay there again.
