We had a great experience at this hotel. Very friendly staff, clean atmosphere with very spacious rooms. Very close proximity to restaurants and the highway. I felt the value was worth the price. Highly recommend

Great rooms, food and service. The pool area has a slide, pool, kiddie pool and hot tub. We stayed in a 2 queen beds suite, the kids were ecstatic! The suite had a smart tv with youtube, netflix and other popular apps

This hotel was very accommodating. We can't wait to stay again next time we are in Edmunston. Highly recommend for cleanliness, layed back staff, delicious breakfast, pool, and all amenities. Merci beaucoup

We stayed two days with snowmobiles and are very impressed with the hotel ! The rate was excellent with snowmobile package, outside drive up door for convenience to park sleds , comfortable beds , modern decor , plentiful breakfast with dairy free options , hot tub and beautiful lounge upstairs where you can order pizza in house. Hotel is right on the sled trail and a quick drive to moose valley. We can't wait to come back!

Recently stayed at this hotel. Hotel is either brand new or newly renovated. Friendly staff member gave us an early check in. Very well located right off the trans canada highway. Beds and room was very spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Edmundston was the half way point from Halifax to Mont Tremblant. We had looked at a couple of places online and like what we saw and the room rate that included a hot breakfast. We were not disappointed. Everyone was very friendly. My French is very limited but it was never an issue as everyone we met also spoke English. I was amazed at how many usb charging ports were in the room. No issues recharging everything for the next day. If you stay here don't skip breakfast.

Great value, decent complimentary breakfast in the morning, courteous staff. We stay at this hotel every time we travel back and forth to the East Coast (twice per year). We love that we can park outside our main level hotel room to have easy access.

The Best Western Edmunston is an excellent hotel. We had a ground floor drive up room so it was very convient, especially as we had a dog with us. The breakfast was good. The breakfast staff were very friendly and attentive. The guy at reception was very friendly and very helpful.

Haven't been here in several years but it was always our favourite stop on our way to Nova Scotia. Checkin was quick and king room was lovely. Did not have time to check out pool and water slide. Breakfast was great with lots of options. Will definitely stay here again.

Love the ground floor drive-up to our room. Breakfast is all and better than we like. Beds are great. Clean & customer service is great in English and French. Feel totally at home every time we come.

Every time we stay here I'm blown away with how great the staff are. They go the extra mile to help you out in any way they can. They are always smiling and take the time to make sure everything is just right for your stay. Dog friendly, with enough soundproofing that you don't hear any in your room.

Beautiful property, very clean - room exceeded our expectations! Reservations were easy to do online and pre-registered online as well. Would stay at this hotel again if travelling through Edmundston.

The location is great, with easy access to the highway, gas, restaurants and shopping. But… …the AC is much too NOISY for sleeping. My noise meter app measured it as equivalent to a kitchen blender!! They updated the decor but neglected this very important need for travellers. I won't return and cannot recommend staying here.

Easy to access from the highway. Rooms and hallways well decorated. Good breakfasts and adequate seating even though very busy. The breakfast area was well staffed keeping the supplies well stocked. The only complaint would be the shower was too short for someone over 6' tall.

Hotel has easy access off hwy…stayed a few times and has always been clean ,staff has always been friendly…good value for your money…breakfast area kept clean and always been well presented…request have been met

Stopover stay from Ontario to Nova Scotia. Stayed with my wife this time but before was with my son. The hotel is very well kept and very clean. Serves a good breakfast which is included in the price, Staff were very polite even though we arrived after 1am. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable, No problem with parking.

Amazing hotel the room was beautiful and the service was fantastic. I have celiac disease so it is often difficult at these breakfasts to get what I need to eat. They have a sign to ask for what you need and the staff was fantastic to make sure I had what I needed.

Room above ours ran water or had extended showers which were very loud in our room. Suspect a noise buffer problem between floors. Discussed with front desk staff who showed little concern with our experience.

We stayed at this hotel twice on our way to and from our daughter's in Ontario. We were very happy with the front desk staff with friendliness and check in and check out. Breakfast was great with lots of variety....hot oatmeal, beans, scrambled eggs, ham, sausage, bacon, potatoes, bread, bagels, muffins, pancakes, apples, bananas, mixed fruit, yogurt. apple and orange juice, tea and coffee. Staff here were also very friendly, pleasant and helpful.

Nice hotel stayed on the way home from ontario. kids loved pool area also a hottub, nice rooms comfy beds. Really good breakfast good selection compared to the other 2 hotels we stayed on our trip. Will stay again if we pass through.

This hotel is second to none. The staff are very accommodating and professional. Their breakfast is clearly the best of all hotels we have stayed at. We have stayed here often and will keep coming back.

Friendly staff - very nice updated rooms great bar/lounge - the hotel is close to the casino - restaurants and gas stations - they serve a good breakfast which is included - perfect pit stop for us travelling through NB to PEI

Fantastic place to stay. Super clean, great staff. Easy check in. Took advantage of the hot tub and pool while I was there. Great breakfast with everything you could want in a full breakfast. Would definitely stay there again!

Location is very convenient. The hotel is quiet, clean and safe. The beds were good and I liked all of the counters available in the room to drop stuff. On the plus side: a much better than average breakfast buffet. On the negative side: some maintenance issues with the room and a TV system that we couldn't really use.

Have stayed many here many times and this is the worst experience. Noisy, breakfast was terrible, no cable. Thank goodness we brought a laptop to watch programs on. The lighting was horrible. Could hear neighbors through the wall. Bed was uncomfortable. So much for renovations

One of the nicest Best Western Hotels we've stayed in. I was expecting a small, dated room but our room on the fourth floor was bright, spacious and very modern. Comfy beds, hot shower, microwave and fridge made for a great stay. We didn't use the pool or restaurant. The free breakfast was well-stocked and had lots of variety. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in Edmundston again.

Hotel was spotless. We stayed in Kingsize room. Loved the light up vanity mirror…nice touch. Also breakfast was good. Lots of food but also lots of travelers so therefore a bit small. Overall, a great experience.

We had an amazing stay here. The rooms are so clean, big and airy. The hot breakfast was fresh and delicious and included in the stay. Our puppy was with us and they gave us a room with a parking spot right outside which was SO convenient! I loved our stay here.

Short and curly hairs in the drawers, all over the tub, someone else's used Kleenex on the washroom counter, blood stains (?) on the duvet cover, food in the chairs, and a hole in the wall. We were generously moved to a suite that was enormous but still under construction and very noisy due to the AC unit. Our family of three didn't sleep at all. Check out was simple but the person behind the desk was abrupt and grumpy.

This hotel is just okay. It has been recently renovated/modernized. However, when we entered our room we noticed a musty smell that seemed to be coming from the air conditioner unit. We shut it off and opened the window instead. If you spend the night here you will find a comfortable bed, a nice lobby and warm breakfast. For the love of God, skip Boston Pizza and head to L'Ecluse on the edge of the Madawaska River for dinner. The meal we had there was A+!

If you have to stop in Edmundston, this is the hotel to stay at. Great service, great bed and pillow, a good warm buffet with many options to chose from, access 24/7 to fresh water and coffee and what to say about the pool slide. Your kids will love it. All that for a fair and reasonable price, worth it!

We love stopping at this hotel on trips between Ottawa and Nova Scotia. We always pick a drive up room for convenience (book ahead!). They have also recently renovated many rooms/floors and it is very modern. The pool is small but kids don't mind - nice water slide with it! And the included breakfast is really good with many options and very attentive service. It has become more pricey but what hasn't. We try to take advantage of special rates like CAA or different points systems when booking. Our favourite tip - St Hubert delivers to your room extremely fast - like under 10 min!

Room was not very clean. No surfaces were cleaned or dusted as there were still sticky cup rings and bobby pins on the desk tops. The TV didn't work and no one would answer to come help. Pool was very gross, and the waterside looked like it was going to fall apart as it was only held up by rotting wood. Half the pool didn't work. Beds were hard and awful.

Expensive room because of waterslide but there is no room to swim - only kids using the waterslide. Easy access off the highway BUT paid higher rate because we thought the kids would enjoy the waterslide advertised not realizing we were giving up our opportunity to swim.0

Edmundston is a lovely town. Hotel on the hill overlooking the town is a great view. Easy access, great staff, reasonable continental breakfast. A comfy chair to read in would have been a great addition to the room. New platform bed was excellent since I am short and hate climbing into the ones that are high off the floor

My family and I stayed in 2 rooms from July 21st-22nd. When we checked out of ours rooms I spoke with the front desk and told them we would be returning the following weekend and asked for the same 2 rooms, an extra cot and that we would be arriving at 3pm the advertised check in time listed on every online site. When we returned the following week to check I after driving 7 hours, we were told ours room wouldn't be ready for an hour. I asked why they weren't ready and what were supposed to do, wait an hour in the parking lot? The front desk staff was very rude, her "apology" was even ruder. My 6 six children were not offered any option for a bathroom even though j told them how far we traveled. I ended up.going up.to the room to begin the clean staff to let us use the bathroom. Or room cards deactivated 4+ times in the first hour we actually got into our rooms resulting in me going back and forth over the 1st hour we actually got into our rooms. There was hair left in our tub, which I can understand because the cleaner was rushed to get us in, even though I confirmed a week before that I would be arriving at 3 which was check in. Front desk today me rooms might not be ready until 4:30. They falsely advertise a 3pm check in.

Great hotel! We had two dogs and it was a breeze! This was my first experience bringing my dogs to a hotel and it was a great one. The room was really nice, beds were comfy, it was clean, and the staff was nice. I would definitely go back!

No couch in my room, the manager had to go to the basement to get chair for my room. The room number for my room was hanging there was only one screw holding it up.Ice machine was broken, had to go to the main lobby for ice. The third floor carpet had strange odour.The Hotel staff were using the elevator to move furniture during check out time.

Brand new hotel with zero carpeting in rooms! Such a smart idea! Our room was very spacious and breakfast included/buffet is worth it. There was lots to choices. Pool was way too small though for all guests to be able to use.

We checked into the room and noticed an odour and both the bathroom fan and ac was on but we were hungry and decided to go out for dinner first and see if the smell was gone when we got back. It was still when we returned so we went down to the reception desk to arrange to be moved but we were informed they were sold out and there were no other rooms available. I decided to cancel and get a refund and move to another facility elsewhere. I was informed that the room was recently renovated and the odour was probably glue and because I had booked the room through Expedia, all they could do is check us out of the room and we'd have to get our refund through Expedia. I felt that the problem was with the hotel and had nothing to do with Expedia so the hotel should have refunded our fees. So we ended up staying there rather than possibly paying twice for our accommodations. I did file a complaint with Best Western and have not heard back (it's been over a week). I only hope there won't be any health issues as a result of the glue odour in the room.

This hotel is a great location, right off the highway. It is very quiet and everything looks new. Rooms area a good size and bathroom is set up nicely. Breakfast had a lot of items to choose from. Everything was hot and tasty. Staff were bilingual and friendly. Only issue we had was the bathroom sink would not drain properly. We reported this on our check out. Not sure why housekeeping staff would not notice this when cleaning the sink.

Hotel advertised that the hot tub and pool was available but got a different story when we arrived. Very dissapointing... hard to explain to kids why something you promised is not available when they can see it through the door.

It could have been great.... I wanted to like the Best Western Plus, Edmundston. It is well located - close enough to the highway to be easy to find and access, but not SO close as to be affected by road noise. Our room was on ground level, so we were able to back up the car right to the sliding patio door, which made packing and unpacking the car a lot easier. Breakfast was the usual "free with the room" fair. Not bad, not great. However, the hotel was built with hard floors in the room, the room above, and the hallways, which made it noisy. A minor issue. However, our biggest complaint, and an easy fix, is that our king sized bed was fitted with queen size sheets. This left the mattress exposed on the sides. With a little bit of tossing and turning, the undersized sheets pulled free and left us sleeping on a partially exposed bare mattress. Gross. We tried to book a different hotel for the return trip, but every comparable hotel in town was booked. Lesson? book a room with a queen bed.

Rooms were clean, comfortable and roomy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good. If traveling with pet very accommodating and only 10 dollars extra. Many hotels charge 50 for a pet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We stayed in a beautifull newly renovated room. Was the perfect spot to wait out an unexpected snow storm. Made use of the pool, hot tub area. Very relaxing. Enjoyed the hot breakfast that was included each morning.

Really nice hotel, lots of amenities. The king size bed in the executive room was SOOO confortable. Tons of nice pillows, fantastic! We didn't have the chance to taste the breakfast, because the bed was too confy!! We'll be back!!

We stayed here for a quick overnight stay traveling back home from Christmas holidays. The room was clean, the staff were friendly. The pool is great for kids, a bit small and could use some upgrading but we had fun. The breakfast was delicious also! Would definitely stay again.

We found the hotel to be very clean, well organized and well maintained. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast offered lots of choices and breakfast staff very helpful and pleasant. We would recommend this hotel.

This hotel was spotless, very nicely decorated and designed, staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. I have spent lots of nights in hotels and I usually don't sleep well but I did hear thanks to a handy sliding door that blocked the light from the hall perfectly. I was in a main floor king room for reference. I also forgot something in the room and when I called, they rushed there to grab it for me. Fabulous service.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff are amazing and they were so helpful. The cleaning staff were incredible, especially Margaret, who was so great with making sure our rooms has all the amenities. The pool and slide were a huge plus for the kids and the morning breakfast was fabulous. What a great place to stay!

I like staying at Best Western Hotels because I always know what type of experience I will have. The hotel in Edmundston NB is very clean and the rooms are very nice. The beds are very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast buffet offers a nice variety of hot and cold food items.

Clean and modern. Very comfy bed. The team is wonderful, from front desk to breakfast room to cleaning staff. Breakfast includes a wider variety of items than most BWs offer - I was impressed. A tip jar is at the entrance of the breakfast room and you can tell by the filled jar that guests are happy. There is an indoor pool and a fitness centre with the usual machines such as a treadmill and an elliptical. Some rooms offer direct outdoor access, with the room number marked on the parking stall adjacent to the patio doors - fantastic! Convenient location. I often stay at BWs, and I highly recommend this particular hotel.

We noticed on leaving our room a large shard of glass in entrance way . After investigation it was found it was from fire escape plan on back of door. My son's room across the hall was the same.This was reported to manager and a formal complaint was made . A family member is diabetic (no feeling in feet), and considering the over stressed hospital situation this did not sit well. Their interest in customer safety is extremely poor .I was very disappointed in response from manager and customer service .Rest assured we will not be staying in this hotel chain ever again .

The hotel is conveniently located right off the highway, and our room, 101, on the main floor gave us easy access to our car, parked right outside the sliding doors to the room -- very handy since we had our cat with us. The room was clean with two double beds, a microwave and little fridge. Check in and out were smooth. The breakfast was hardy with scrambled eggs, ham, bagels, cereal, yogurt -- everything you need to start your day right! There was also coffee 24 hours a day available in the lobby.

Amenities are bright and clean, rooms are modern and cozy, staff courteous and professional. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Inox Lounge was an unexpected bonus and an ideal spot to relax and unwind after a long day of travel. Best hotel by far that we have ever stayed at!

The room was mediocre. We have stayed here in the past and we must have gotten an updated room but this time the room in my opinion was mediocre/ outdated. We had 2 queens beds and my husband could feel the springs in his bed and every single time he moved the frame squeaked Rm.202. Also had no bathroom amenities so when i went to the front desk i told her i had no soap/shower gel/shampoo/conditioner/lotion. She gave me soap/shampoo/conditioning shampoo. ??? In general the room was clean. Breakfast.... I said it before and i will say it again fix the orange juice, replace it, what your using now is AWFUL., otherwise breakfast is great, they have everything you could want. I was welcomed very warmly, the staff were very courteous. Hotel is easy to find. Good value. I cant say I wont stay here again, I do enjoy the Best Western brand. I can say its not a bad place to stay they just need to tweak a few things

I have always felt that Best Western hotels were of a lower quality, this hotel completely changed my opinion! Clean, modern, friendly, nice located and beautiful! I will now consider other Best Western hotels simply due to my experience at this place!

Sheets had a large circular stain, impossible to miss, right in the middle of the bed. The bed itself had seen better days. I would never stay here again. Tried calling the front desk - no answer. Went to the front desk to see a sign saying "Back in 2 minutes" - checked back later, no one there. Left the hotel at 4:00 am because I just could not tolerate the soiled sheets.

Looked like new hotel. Everything was clean, updated. Enjoyed the hot tub and pool area with slide. Enjoyed the complimentary hot breakfast. Front desk staff were helpful. Gave suggestions for dinner. Fridge in room.

Enjoyed our short stay to the fullest. We were upgraded to the Suite Room which was beautiful. Very clean rooms, no lack of towels which was great, lots of breakfast choices hot / cold. Very friendly front desk staff. We had a lovely stay and will return when in the area again for sure.

Reasonable price for a large room with nice bedding & towels, fridge & microwave. It was clean & comfortable. There was complimentary bottled water and breakfast was included. It was a convenient location for us as we were travelling between Ontario & Nova Scotia & it was just off the highway. The breakfast was good and we liked that they had takeout lids for coffee and containers for food on the road. My only complaint was the slow check in process. I had checked in on line but had to wait while others were checked in and it took forever.

We have stayed at this fine hotel several times and always find it welcoming and consistent in its services. After a 12 hour drive from Innisfil Ontario it provides a convenient stopping point before heading to Bridgewater Nova Scotia. The free breakfast has good choices for both children and adults. The hotel maintains high cleanliness standards in the rooms and reception area

We were driving late from Montreal to Saint John and took the opportunity to book into this hotel. Our reservation was made directly with the hotel staff and was handled efficiently. Check in at 1AM was prompt and courteous. Rooms were clean and well appointed and THERE WAS A BATH! Just the thing for weary drivers. Buffet self-serve breakfast had a very good choice and was refreshed frequently. We did not have a chance to try out the amenities, but will certainly be back

We weren't sure what to expect when we booked this hotel as we had never seen it. When we arrived, we were blown away. This place is beautiful and the staff are so very friendly and helpful. Breakfast the next day was very nice and the lady that served us, again, was very friendly!!! The young man at the check in desk was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean. We wish we could have stayed longer. This is definitely a place that we would recommend.

We made this our stop halfway home and weren't disappointed. The hotel was busy but well laid out and with great rooms which were really well equipped (fridge, coffee makers, etc). The breakfast was generous so we were able to enjoy it and the sunshine streaming through the windows to the tables. Well done!

THIS HOTEL IS BY FAR THE WORST BW ESTABLISHMENT WE HAVE EXPERIENCED FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS IN CANADA & USA. At check in time ,I gave the desk clerk my corporate ID number & advised her of my new Diamond status ; she replied that she could not find it and the CAA rate was the best I could get with Gold status. She also required the hotel bill be charged immediately to my credit card which seems to be standard procedure at this hotel . Unusual for BW hotels. At check out time I presented a 60. $ USD BW travel/promo card to cover part of the bill which the desk clerk refused to honor after checking with the hotel manager Billy Maillet . In addition to be poorly managed customer wise , the hotel missed on a number of amenities customary with BW Plus hotels . and the room # 113 was substandard in a few ways . While charging BW+ rates for the room this hotel does not qualify to BW standards and does not merit the Plus status . At best ,this is an overrated budget hotel with poor customer service and overpriced rates.

When travelling to and from Nova Scotia we stayed at this hotel overnight and we have to tell you we had the best check in and check out, best room, best breakfast and dealt the best staff!! The hotel was spotless as was our room. Our bed was so comfortable and clean and the bathroom sparkled. - a big thank you to whoever cleaned it. The front desk staff was very busy when we checked in but they were pleasant to every guest. Our breakfast was served by, again, really friendly staff who had a smile and pleasant word for everyone, the food was varied and tasty and the coffee hot and fresh. We will happily recommend you to anyone who asks us and we definitely look forward to our next stay there. Thank you Best Western for a great overnight stay!

The entry into the hotel is grand with the staircase in the foyer. Our room was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly whenever encountered within the hallways. Pool area is very nice to use. It was easy to find coming off of the highway. Breakfast is great to be a part of the stay. I look forward to staying there again!

I was pleasantly surprised to find that this hotel was upgraded very recently with modern technology and it was very comfortable. I loved that the floors are not carpeted and I had full control of the AC and fan. I had a great sleep on the comfortable bed and got lots of rest before travelling a few more hours to my destination. Will be staying here again on the way back home.

The room we were in was big and very clean. Had all the newest amenities (phone charger, nice lighting, Keurig, fridge, etc). The TV was an older model but the bed were quite comfy. Only a few maintenance issues: the flush buttons were not working although you could still flush the toilet and the bathroom door needed to be fixed as it did not close properly. I would rate 5/5 for cleanliness and 4/5 for bathroom issues. The breakfast was very good and served by Yvette who was very pleasant. Again very clean and excellent flow to get served. 5/5 for breakfast. Also the ladies at checkout were fast and efficient. Would stop again.

The room was very nice and clean, awesome shower. The breakfast bar was extremely slow, lined up forever. Should consider letting customers serve themselves. The location was just off the highway was convenient. A little on the expensive side over $300. Per night.

Travelling from Ontario to PEI, stayed at the Edmundston Best Western Plus... what a great hotel! A perfect option for those travelling east for a holiday... after 11 hours of driving, it was a fantastic way to start the down east experience.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, hot and easy to access. No craziness at the buffet like you see in other hotels... We certainly recommend this hotel.

Rooms were clean but dated. There was limited outlets for devices - no direct plug ins. The small pool is good for little kids but not children over 10. Pillow were lumpy and not comfortable neither was the bed.

Beautiful hotel. Everything about this hotel looks clean and fresh and updated. Our queen suite was spacious. Kitchenette appliances look a little rub down but we didn't use them. Breakfast included was ok but it is a time saver. Staff very friendly and helpful

We booked the Best Western Plus because it had an elevator. The other hotel we called didn't. I walk with a cane and my husband had hurt his back and has a troublesome knee. When we arrived we were told the elevator had broken and a repairman was called. We took a load up and checked our room. Updated and nice but the tv was all jumpy and blurry on all channels. We told the desk and they said someone would check it out. After supper another load was taken up. Our tv still didn't work. The desk said there was nothing they could do and no manager on duty. Down for breakfast. I could see what looked like wrapped up pancakes in a cooler or warmer thing. When I asked she said they had none. But there was syrup with the jams. Oh well. I stopped by the front desk to speak to a manager. He was busy with another complaint by the sounds of it. I asked for some compensation for the lack of elevator and bad tv. He said did you unplug it? So you want me to take your big screen off the wall? Sorry I am a paying guest not a repairman. We did turn it off and on. He said there was nothing he could do. The lack of compassion and arrogance thus young man showed was astounding. When we got to the parking lot to leave the woman who was at the desk approached us asking what our complaint was. She showed us photos of a dirty bed. Shame on you Best Western. I will be calling and writing head office.

Great location, with VERY clean rooms. Updates to the hotel are fantastic and great looking. Staff are very helpful and accommodating. Pet friendly. A great choice for an overnight stay, or extended stay.

I travel with a small dog and it can be difficult to find a nice place that allows animals. The Best Western Plus Edmunston Hotel was the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at with my dog. Nice room and I could park my car directly outside the room and enter through the sliding doors or through the interior of the hotel. I will definately stay there again when I am on my way from Nova Scotia to Ontario, even when not travelling with my dog. My only regret was that I arrived rather late and did not have enough time to enjoy the amenities the hotel offered such as the pool, bar, and lobby, however they all looked inviting.The cost was more than the typical motel that allows animals but it was worth the price. I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is another Best Western undergoing extensive remodeling ... and we got one of the new rooms. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable -- we'd stop-over again. If only the staff .. and the guests ... had been wiling to mask!

We paid extra for a place with a pool, it was closed while we were there. We decided then instead to watch a movie but the internet was too slow to stream. The tv also did not work. Would not recommend staying here.

Our stay was great - the room was big and comfortable, and very clean. Really liked the feature of a door, plus a little alcove with another door between the bedroom and the hallway. It made it very quiet. Also, the fan for the bathroom was great - it's always so damp in hotel bathrooms, with no way to air it out. So glad this hotel got it right! The other great thing was the calm, cool front desk agent - she was amazing under pressure, since there were long waits to check in. She handled everyone with respect and did her job efficiently. So impressed!

I only stayed here overnight while travelling through on vacation, but I was very impressed with the staff and room. Loved the breakfast too. I stayed at one other Best Western along the way and by far this hotel chain has the best breakfasts.

This was our kids (and dogs) first hotel experience and it was really great. Kids had a blast on the twirly pool slide and the hot tub was superb! Lots of towels available in the pool area. In the room it was big with a cold bar fridge, microwave and Keurig. Lots of shower pressure and a pocket door so you could close off the main entry and bathroom from the rest of the room. The room and bathroom were super clean with nice bedding and comfortable beds. Air conditioner was strong when we wanted it to be and the hotel overall was nicely quiet. Lots of great parking and the breakfast was pretty good! Bacon, sausage, eggs, beans, breakfast potatoes, toast, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, fresh fruits, juice, coffee, yogurt etc. 100% looking forward to going there again.

I have always stayed at this hotel when I travel to the east coast. They have always accepted my dog. The upgrades to the rooms are very nice. Great sleep! I will co tinge to stay here as long as the service, quality and price are maintained. Great stay!

The BW Edmunston was busy during vacation season though you don't feel rushed. Love the convenience of 24h coffee AND a Keurig in your room. The beds were soft and invitingly comfortable! Ours was just a roadside overnight stop but I am goin to spend a longer time next trip, enjoy the area and try my luck at the nearby casino!

Room 1: Smelled of vomit, glass beads and grit in BOTH Queen beds. Asked for a different room. Room 2: Hair on the beds, clump of hair in mini fridge, hair on toilet seat. Manager totally unavailable, then left building. Housekeeping supervisor left building. Front desk told us no one was available to help us see another room. Told us the manager said stay in room 2 or check out. We checked out, and Manager told us through Front Desk we would get no refund ($298.89). Called BW client service number, and they checked with hotel According to front desk, we are liars!!! So Best Western told us we would have to seek alternative path to get a refund, but it was totally up to Franchisee whether we get a refund. STAY AWAY. IF YOU THINK YOUR ROOM IS DIRTY, you are a liar apparently... BTW, the central customer review opened a ticket # CR528408. Please quote this when you book and see if it is ever resolved. Public health should look in on this place. COVID cleaning????????

I do not recommend staying at this hote. Upon arrival, the front desk staff took a very long time to help people and process arrivals/departures - people were waiting in line for far too long, our room was not clean. The beds were made but there was dirt on the main room floor and the bathroom was gross; I found clumps of long dark hair on the floor and around the toilet, small hairs that were not ours in the bath/shower unit, and soap and water residue on the shower handle/faucet, which showed me the bathroom clearly was not cleaned nor cleaned well. The included breakfast in the morning was still being monitored and handed out like during the pandemic, something that should have passed in your guest services by now and returned to normal. This to me showed an establishment that was still cutting it costs despite an ended pandemic, but still charging nearly $300 per night for a room. For the cost, this accommodation was unacceptable, in my opinion. I will not return and will not be recommending others stay here.

One night stayStaff was very accommodating and very friendly. Rooms were clean and quiet. Pool was a little cool but it was 30° outside so it wasn't a bad thing. Overall very nice experience. I would stay here again.

Hotel is in a perfect location just off the highway with easy access to restaurants and services. Room was well maintained. When they need to replace the fridge, I suggest they get one with a freezer compartment

Reception was polite, informative and after hearing of our travel problems put us in the new addition. The room was beautiful, deco was stunning whomever designed it deserves an award. Bed was comfortable, tv had everything and stocked shampoo, conditioner, make up remover pad and shower cap. Hot breakfast provider had scrambled eggs, ham ,sausage, cereal, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee toast bagels and breakfast sandwiches. Check out was simple and staff was friendly. 24 hour free self serve coffee bar in lobby

We stayed at the hotel overnight. The pool area was nice (pool, wading area, hot tub and a water slide) but the pool was small. You couldn't swim in it. The room was clean (although there were a couple of things the room cleaners missed). The hot breakfast was the best we've had. Eggs, ham, sausage, home fries, bread/bagels, breakfast sandwiches, cereal, yogurt, muffins, fruit, coffee, tea and juice. Staff were friendly and helpful.

travelling to move from pei to Ontario with my cat…we stopped at this hotel because it was pet friendly and on our route. Our first time travelling with my cat, when we arrived at the hotel the front desk staff was nice and check in was painless, got to our room it was clean and had a fridge. We just ordered delivery because we were tired so didn't experience the on site restaurant. The pool looked nice, everything was well kept and clean. When we woke up in the morning we went for the hot breakfast that was included and it was much more than we expected and quite good and the staff was quick and efficient. When we got back to our room our cat was “missing” we searched everywhere and couldn't find him. Flipped mattresses etc… so we notified the house keepers on our floor (Margette was very helpful and empathetic and Joseph was helpful as well) and the girls at front desk Fred and Cindy were lovely and helpful with a late checkout and keeping an eye out for us. One of the breakfast ladies (sorry I didn't get her name, short hair) asked for his name and what he looks like and went and told the other staff. Anyways all around a great experience with the staff, going above and beyond and the facilities were good And we did find jack. Thanks to the best western staff for being patient with us and helping ❤️

Definately family with younger children oriented. Small pool with slide. I was very happy with the hot breakfast that was included. It was simple but good. I have severe arthritis so I found the beds very uncomfortable and did not sleep well. Just a heads up for people with pain issues. Located just off the highway so great on off access. Parking lot a bit challenging as the lot was full when arrived. (driving a large pick-up) Over all, a functional place to stay.

We usd this hotel twice on our way from Otaawa to Halifax NS and then on our return trip to Niagara Falls ON as it was a suitable halfway point. The hotel is clean an dtidt, room was well maintained and all amenities worked fine. Breakfast is served to you and we had a very limited choice; not to well cooked I have to admint. Staff were all fine and helpful.

We were lucky to get a room on the ground floor, as my husband cannot do stairs any more. The room was clean and accessible. The bathtub/shower was great - lots of hot water and good water pressure for the shower.

Easy to check in and out. We traveled with 2 small children and our dog, and it was such a great spot to stop off. The breakfast was great. Everything was extremely clean and we didn't feel rushed at all to get out. 10/10

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was hot and ready at 6:30am. I will be back. The rooms were nice and cool for the hot temperature outside. Hot showers nice strength. Check in was easy on mobile, same with check out. The staff was always pleasant

We love this hotel. Beds are comfortable, rooms are spacious and clean. Our kids always have fun in the pool. I love that they have a shallow part, kind of like a splash park thing for toddlers. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was delicious.

We stopped here for our road trip and it exceeded expectations! We felt very accommodated with parking lot access from our room, awesome breakfast and dinner options to be delivered to our room! 10/10

This was the best nights sleep we have had in a hotel. Room was so comfortable and very quiet. The only issue was at check in, and not really anything just seemed a bit odd. Both attendants were busy one doing paper work and one on the phone. Although we were told we would be helped in a moment there just was confussion on one person as all we needed was the key as we did pre-checkin. There was no welcome or instruction where to find elevators or pool we just found that little off putting and not very friendly. Other than that pleased with the room and location.

We've stayed in quite a few Edmundston area motel/hotels over the years as it's a an overnight location on trips from Ontario to Halifax. This time - after a three-year gap - we tried this hotel. And we were very pleasantly surprised. Everything was very "crisp" and no-problem - booking, good rate, check-in, breakfast (more later on this), the ability to have a walk-out parking sport for the car. And more. Nice people and they really try hard to ensure you enjoy your stay, however brief. The breakfast. It seems Canadian hotels have gone the European way and now just about all offer some sort of free breakfast. These vary in quality significantly. The breakfast here was really outstanding, and nicely served by a couple of delightful women. It's a buffet but the offerings are considerable and very tasty. I mentioned a couple of small faults in the room when we stayed passing through to Halifax and when we had the same room on our return trip, the faults were fixed! We're sold on the BW Plus Edmundston and can pretty much forget the other dumps around here (and there are a few). Book well in advance if you can - it was difficult even in April to get a room on our return trip.

Our family travels frequently from Ontario to Halifax, Nova Scotia. The Edmunston Best Western is always our 1st choice for our overnight stop. Hotel is always immaculately clean and courteous, attentive staff. Complimentary breakfast never disappoints.

Great spot to stay! We traveled with 2 small kids and an infant and they treated us so well! The pool was perfect for all ages and the breakfast was great! Would definitely recommend this hotel if you're in the Edmunston area!

Very nice hotel with excellent online booking and visibility. Express check-in/checkout lets you skip the line. Rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. Restaurant staff was super friendly and efficient. Well worth the money!

My daughter and I stayed here for a night on our way to Sackville. The service was very good, the staff were friendly, and the hotel is very clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool. Unfortunately the slide was temporarily out of order. We slept well. Breakfast was hot and fresh. We would stay here again.

Pulled in here after a long drive from Ontario. the province should post locations on the transcanada to help find hotels etc, as google map even had a hard time pinpointing it. We got in late and were able to get a nice king room, and we ended up ordering in some pizza as there is no restaurant on site. They do have a nice little lounge that the bartender/hotel manager, kept open a little later for us to quence our thirst and take one back to the room to wash down the pizza.

Bottom line....do not stay here. Management does not care that our door didn't lock, the room smelled dirty and the TV did not work. They never responded to our situation And we are not the couple to complain. Oh and if you do, don't take a room at the back of the building, the garbage/recycling trucks will wake you up at 3pm Stay across the street at Journeys End.

I stayed here last night while on my way moving back to Newfoundland from Ontario. The location was amazing. Close to the highway. Staff were extremely friendly and obliging, facilities were very clean and rooms were excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

Our Bedford to Tampa trip was 31 days, 8400km and 7 hotels, and the Best Western at Edmonton, NB won hands down, as our best experience, from the courteous check-in to the great breakfast. We will stay there every time we travel thru NB.

We stay at BW's as often as we can when we are on business trips. The service does not disappoint and the staff who we deal with consistently show their appreciation for our repeated business.The hotels are very clean and the beds very comfortable.

This hotel is probably one of the best hotels to stay in New Brunswick. Although we did not stay long enough to enjoy the surrounding area, we noticed the variety of activities that one can enjoy. Something for everyone. A beautifully designed hotel with a range of amenities. I recommend staying for an extended time while on vacation. Lorne & Diane.

It was cold outside, but warm inside. Everybody was friendly and the place was well kept. Just slightly more expensive than average. Would stay here again. Convent location between Newfoundland ferry and Ontario.

Have used this hotel a number of times when travelling between the Maritimes & Ontario; professional staff, clean spacious rooms, excellent wifi, decent breakfast. It is handy to the highway but far enough off to ensure a quiet stay.

Wehad 8 rooms booked for the team a very good stay and registration would recommend this hotel to anyone. They had a great breakfast and lots of an assortment for th eteam. Pool gym were good. They kept the team away from the parents which I had asked for.. First class service

The room was spacious, clean and reasonably soundproof the staff amazing will stay there again on our way back east would reccomend to anyone. Also pet friendly which is non negotiable for us . Loved the pool no matter how small, and the hot tub. Very clean and the h2o was not too cold

Checked in after a long day of driving. WS woken up to excessive noise from the room above. After staff came to our room and heard the noise nothing was done. Called desk again - nothing done. Went to front desk to complain in person - staff spoke French to each other and I speak English. They moved us to another room at 12:30 AM. Next morning spoke to manager and was offered $35 refund. Unacceptable - then offered only $60. Terrible to pay for something you never received - rest and relaxation. Another serious problem was staff at front desk not enforcing mask wearing all over the lobby or in elevators.

Awesome friendly staff, very clean place to stay, super comfortable beds, just a great traveling experience. After being on the road all day, this was a greatly anticipated stop over. The staff was friendly and accommodating, would recommend this hotel.

We stayed here on our way to Nova Scotia. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming and the hotel was beautiful. They had a great breakfast served by a couple of people who were very nice. The bacon, eggs and home fries were a wonderful change from the grab and go breakfasts offered many other places. We would definitely stay here again if in New Brunswick.

My wife and I travel with 2 large dogs and the staff were very accepting helpful and polite, plus very friendly. Would definitely recommend this facility - everyone went out of their way to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. Gods room, great service, excellent people.

we stay at this hotel going to or coming back from Montreal. i think it is one of the "better" places to stay at in that area. the staff are very friendly and breakfast is a bonus. the only thing is the price... it fluctuates

The room we had was a drive up. Very convenient and very clean. I'd say it was renovated recently. The bed was comfortable. The staff were great. Customer service and covid protocols were great. Would definitely recommend.

My wife and I stayed here one night on our way to Nova Scotia from Ontario. The hotel is very modern and clean. We had a king room with a sliding glass door which was important as we could have fresh air coming into the room. The room had laminate flooring rather than carpeting which is wonderful. The lobby itself is very impressive with a winding staircase to the second floor which offers a lovely bar for a nightcap. The breakfast was included and was buffet style served by the staff who were all masked. The only additive that would be a benefit would be to have a restaurant within the hotel. Other than that, it was excellent.

The most important thing for my wife and I when we are travelling is a quality sleep in a comfortable bed. This hotel was hands down one of the best that we have slept in over our last 4 weeks of travelling. We had a king size room which was large and had a sliding door to a juliette balcony. This is also highly valued by us because we like to have fresh air when we are sleeping. The hot breakfast was good and we had excellent wifi service. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in Edmunston.

Hotel room was clean and everything worked. We were pleasantly surprised that there was a hot breakfast early Sunday morning at 6:30. The hotel was in a quiet location and had a beautiful lobby. Recommended.

We were in awe of this beautiful hotel, the staff was professional and friendly. The pool was a hit for my adult children, they even went down the crazy tube slide, we used the gym and it had lovely windows! I even went for a run around the surrounding neighbourhood, nice paved sidewalks and not much traffic. We all enjoyed dinner at the casino (last minute reservations were accepted), and we even found Les Brasseurs du Petit-Sault Brewery (my family love's beer LOL)I wouldn't change a thing with this hotel. I only hope its not fully booked the next time we drive down to Nova Scotia!!

The hotel overall was clean and staff were friendly. The elevators were not working so challenging for us with a son who has major mobility issues. Our key card did not work which necessitated up and down the stairs twice to get new keys till they finally the third time moved us ot a further away room which made getting my son further down the hall a challenge as well. The bed we slept in was horrible although one my son was in was comfortable. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the staff were friendly helpful and tried their best. Rays for room was higher than normal likely due to the fact that their was limited availability. The bed did not warrant the cost .. as it was the worst bed I had slept in during my 2 week maritime holiday.

We stayed in a suite and it was well appointed. The cleanliness and friendliness of the staff makes me want to "jump ship" and become Best Western customers. We had been loyal to another popular chain, which we have always been happy with, but this particular hotel might have swayed us.

This was a very pleasant experience for us. Extremely friendly staff, very very clean premises and quick, professional service with a smile. My husband and I recommended this place to family and they came with us when we were returning home from our trip and booked for their return trip as well.

Travelling through to Shediac we needed a hotel, came across this one, first look it was $325 a night, second look it was 275$ a night, third look 210$ per night (all not including taxes and fees which is another 35$). The price changed on the Best Western website three times over the course of 3 hours, I kid you not! BTW it August 4th. We get there, check in and then find out that there are no working elevators. We must hike up the stairs to the fourth floor with our luggage. When challenged about this they said they usually send a email telling customers this, but ours got missed. With mobility problems this was hugely challenging for me and many others I saw on the stairs that were not informed either. Some were told after they checked in, none were told beforehand. Hotels were all booked up, and they know this as it's family week and lots of travel. None of us had any options by then. I called to get help for my husband to bring down the suitcases when we were leaving and they said 5 minutes, it was 30 minutes before we finally just did it ourselves. Most customers we talked to upon leaving the next morning on our floor said they didn't go down for breakfast because of the the stairs and juggling coffee etc. I felt compelled to call management, she basically said too bad, so sad! That was my first experience at a Best Western, and my last. Exploitive! PS - Beds too soft will kill your back

Do not stay here. The elevator does not work and has not for over a year. They called me the day prior to our departure to inform us of that and we had made our reservations in March. We were on the fourth floor and had to carry our luggage. A young man helped us but we were 6 elderly people in our party. For our return trip we cancelled our room and reserved at Best Western Grand Falls where every thing was better. Sorry BW Edmundston. We were extremely unhappy. Rooms on first and second floors were completely booked or so they said.

Excellent customer service plus an amazing room. We arrived late in the evening after 12-hours on the road and were made to feel right at home! The staff were very friendly and we were very, very pleased with our suite.

We stayed at the Best Western Bridgewater for 11 days before our stay at this hotel. Our experience there was extremely good, so we may have had higher expectations of Best Western than we should have. The truth of the matter, we had a very nice 1 night stay at Best Western Edmunston. The check in was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a few hiccups with the access cards, but the staff were great at eliminating the inconvenience by being right there to access us immediately. The guests staying above us had children running marathons for 3 hrs at night until we complained at about 10pm. The front desk staff were informed and the noise halted right after. The breakfast staff were very friendly and accommodating. All in all our stay was good and the hotel is very clean and comfortable. The property is very nice looking and the lobby is beautiful.

We stayed here on the recommendation of a friend. The staff here are very nice and the hotel is in a nice, quiet part of town, yet just a minute or so from the highway. Their water slide was a hit with the kids and the pool area and breakfast were other kid-pleasers. My wife and I didn't sleep the best at night as we found the A/C unit in our room to be SUPER loud. It's not like we had the A/C set at 19C but that thing kept coming on throughout the night waking everyone up.

Travelling with a dog is always a bit of a juggle but the BW Edmundston make it seamless. The room was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole overall experience was relaxing and exactly what I needed. I look forward to my next stay!

very unhappy, there are many factors to take into consideration. lets start from the quality of the room, filthy and smelled like a dead rodent, sheets were dirty, and room was filthy. now, to the overcharging, They charged me for parking without even informing me, charged food to my room, also charged me for an additional night that I was not there, and finally to the terrible staff, Don't bother requesting anything like toilet paper or clean towels because they will never come. The only staff member whom actual did anything was Natalie, the other ladies just answered the phone and did not fulfill any request, asked for a wake-up call for covid-19 test, never received a call, missed my appointment. Terrible experience, staff really had an effect on the hotel,, from room maintenance to service staff just awful. Extremely unhappy experience.

Great location if you need to go to an Isolation Hotels, even better location if you're traveling for other purpose. Accommodating and friendly staff, great food and lovely amenities. Definitely recommend!

Best Western Plus is the best hotel in the Edmundston area. The staff are so friendly and eager to help. The rooms are sparkling clean and well attired. The Covid breakfastis the best as you get to choose your options, so there is no waste. The choices range from breakfast sandwiches, to yogurt to fresh fruit and more. Highly recommended

I travel through Edmundston twice a year and always stay at the Best Western. It is conveniently located off the highway, lots of free parking, pleasant neighbourhood to walk around in, quiet, close to a gas station, walking distance to restaurants and the hospital. Internet is fast. Showers always hot, clean bathroom with hair dryer & amenities. TV, Alarm clock, small desk, comfortable beds. Temperature control in the room.

I picked this best western as it had outside access to car. Travelling during covid is stressful and found not needing to use stairs, lobby or elevator safer. Room was not update but it was very clean and I felt safe. That was more important. Will use again under these circumstances, otherwise will request the remodelled room on 4th floor

Hotel is very close to the highway, the casino, botanical gardens, restaurants and shopping. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. Like the patio doors on main floor, which makes for easy access to load and unload the car. Very quiet rooms.

We stayed in this location for a night while driving to Nova Scotia. The service was great, and the staff went out of their way to help us when my sister lost a priceless stuffed animal. The rooms were a little bit dated, but comfortable for the time we were there. The pool area was a decent size. The chlorine from the hot tub burned our eyes after being in there for about five minutes. Our cell service (Rogers) was horrible, and we were lucky to get two bars, which is no fault of the hotel. It's a couple of minutes away from places like Tim Hortons, but is right off the Trans-Canada Highway so great for road-trippers who only stay for one night.

We were returning from Florida to our home in N.S. during the virus scare, and while we were technically from out of country we were treated with thoughtfulness and kindness. They asked that we abide by certain rules which we fully understood and while we couldn't eat in the breakfast area before we left, we were told just pull around front and they would bring out some coffee and rolls. Always stay with a Best Western, they are hotel/motel of choice whenever we travel.

I understand that the restrictions concerning COVID-19 are essential and important. But I had to pay the normal room rate even though “included” amenities - lounge, fitness centre, breakfast buffet and pool/ tub were understandably NOT available. The hotel seemed adamant that “the room rate is the room rate” and thought it unreasonable to reduce the price to compensate guests somewhat. I stayed in the hotel because I was returning early from a vacation (I lost money in that) and uncertain as to whether I would have a job when I got home. It just seemed like “corporate price gouging” and I'm sure that the room rate is predicated on the “included amenities”. I know that COVID-19 is not the hotel's fault, but it's not mine either. I expected that the hotel would meet the guests partway, but they didn't.

When a blizzard closed the trans Canada highway, we were forced to cancel our Fredericton reservation and check in to Edmunston along with 3 bus-loads of University athletes! Finding rooms for everyone was a challenge but feeding them an “all-you-can-eat” buffet breakfast was a MIRACLE!! Well done Best Western.

This hotel was great overall, from staff to breakfast, to cleaness .Front desk staff were very nice.The room and hotel itself was very clean and well maintained.The buffet breakfast the next morning was very good and warm.For the pool area not sure cause my son was sick that night and didn't go.

Excellent place to stay very comfortable bed,has a pool and a jacuzzi, they also do a very nice breakfast and there is a lounge to have a relaxing beverage. Close to all amenities. There is a casino close by.

We love staying here! I take my children just for leisure because it is such a wonderful stay. The staff is friendly and helpful, every area of the facility is clean, great price/value. The pool/waterslide/hot tub is great!

Was giving a technical presentation here and staying overnight. Had excellent assistance by the staff for setup, great service and nicely laid out meeting space. Got the larger suite on the fourth floor, very nice. Breakfast was good, too. Will come again here next time I'm in this part of N-B.

Very nice hotel, employees are nice and hotel is clean - our bedroom was ok, the beds aren't comfortable and the bathroom was dirty the beds should be updated to new ones and the bedsheets could use a little update too

My room was clean, great space to work. Brakfast was ok, far better than what I saw in other hotel. Great service, people were kind and polite. On top, they have a charging station for your PHEV or electric car.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Hotel, with very clean rooms, roomy lounging areas at several places in the Hotel. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of selection. The TV programming could be improved with a family movie channel. The prices were fair.

We were traveling between Toronto and Moncton, this was our stop for the night. It was our first time at this hotel and we very happy with our stay. The hotel is just off the highway at the main entrance to Edmundston, so it's close to everything. The hotel is very clean, the staff very professional, polite and helpful. The entrance has an overhead cover to protect you from the elements when unloading your family and suitcases. The lobby is very nice and welcoming. The room was big, we had two Queen beds, cable and internet. The pool is very nice and breakfast has a wide variety of choices. I highly recommend this hotel.

First time visit during family road trip in winter. Nice size room with average beds, friendly staff, decent pool with hot tub, free and tasty hot breakfast, good location near highway. The nice hotel lobby is a welcoming touch.

Perfect for NS to Ontario stop half way thru. Very clean hotel rooms located very close to the TransCanada highway. Staff were very friendly and courteous when help was needed. Breakfast in the morning was a great start to the travel day.

Hotel was excellent great location, the staff were great except we lost power in the morning and had to walk down 4 flights of stairs with our suitcases. some of the stairwell and the hallway were not lit up, maybe backup batteries were down. This meant no shower, no breakfast. That part was very bad as we had to travel the next day

We were just passing through Edmundston and stayed here for one night but it was great. There was a patio door so you could park in front of your room and load all stuff and dog directly into the room. The pet fee was also very reasonable ($10) and the free breakfast was great. There were no special pet rules that some other hotels have (eg., no dogs allowed on bed etc.) so we felt like our dog was truly welcome. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Convenient for travelers, just off Trans-Canada Highway, pool for the kids, clean, hospitable, good value. I would recommend to anyone stopping at Edmundston for the night. A good hot breakfast will see you on your way.

Stayed here two nights on business. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was also very clean and well maintained. The Wi-Fi was reliable and the complimentary breakfast had a great variety of hot and cold items. The hot tub and indoor pool are also a great bonus.

Travel for business, 50 nights in a hotel a year, give or take. This property is the cleanest of them all. I always check the stairways as a good indicator of the level of maintenance, spotless, just like the rest of the hotel. Just refurbished the lobby and it is beautiful and now offers food service for your room. Beds and furniture in the room are comfortable. Separate heater in the bathroom, nice in the winter. Microwave / fridge in each room with a complimentary bag of popcorn. Drive up rooms available so your car is just outside your room, or several floors serving as a traditional hotel. The lounge is a gem. Beautiful view of the downtown as well across the border in Madawaska, ME. Great service as well friendly patrons, strangers become friends.

This hotel is well situated and close to all amenities. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Was there with my family for 2 nights and can honestly say that our stay was awesome, room was very clean and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was an added bonus, with an awesome selections of choices and good healthy food. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Can't go wrong with the price, it's a very good deal.

The room was dated and had old hookups compared to some of the rooms I've heard about. There wasn't enough plug ins, but could have been if there were USB outlets installed. Overall the appearance of the place was phenomenal and the decorations were fantastic which led to a great atmosphere. The pool was great for the kids as well and the staff were fantastic.

Stayed here during a road trip from Ontario to Nova Scotia. Everything was good, including the room. The breakfast was a little plain and simple, with paper and plastic plates and cutlery, but it was adequate.

The weather was getting bad, so stopped my trip early at the Best Western. Had stayed many times in the past when we lived in Nova Scotia. Even nicer than I remembered, comfy bed, good breakfast and very nice staff!

Travelling with pets can be stressful enough. The staff at the Edmundston hotel were amazing and were truly a pet friendly place. If I could give them 10 stars I would. From not charging me extra for my pets to offering bottled water and then making sure we had a room close to a grassy area so our dog could pee. Just flipping amazing

Rooms great, breakfast great, breakfast staff great. Check in service very non chalant and non caring, service with problems in room or services basically did not exist. Had staff to do it but just made a few comments and left us on our own

Could not begin to tell you how impressed we were with our stay at this new facility. From the moment we drove up to the property it had curb appeal and the grand entrance was breath taking it was to good to be true. The rooms we're spotless and everything in the room was of high quality. The bed and bedding allowed for the best Sleep we have had in a long time.

Recently, stayed at the Best Western Plus. I had a delightful experience. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend this property. A great choice.

Do not stay here if you need sleep during your travels. This is the hotel that books all the sports tournaments, those guests have no respect for any other guests and the staff were totally incapable of dealing with it. Pounding noise of youth running through the halls and pounding up and down the stairs, constant doors slamming and yelling well past 11pm. I booked directly with this hotel as was NOT warned. I always try to stay at BW, but will never return to this one. Very very disappointed.

Slept there for two nights. Hotel looks brand new. The rooms are spacious and clean. Can hear anything from adjacent rooms or the corridor. Continental breakfast does the work. I personally like the self made waffles. Only thing to mention about the breakfast is the fact that no bacon is available :-) Staff is very friendly. Would go again if I have to stay in that region

The hotel is situated on a hill and looks like a French chateau. The lobby is beautiful with a grand staircase! We only stayed one night before our long journey home but our experience was a pleasant one.

Conveniently located off the hightway. Hotel has beautifuul decor and very clean. I was very impressed with how clean the pool and hot tub were. Breakfast was great with a good selection of items. The staff are delightful. Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is 1 minute off the trans-Canada highway and close to a variety of restaurants. Don't expect any scenic view. The building, lobby and rooms are much nicer than I expected. Breakfast room and breakfast buffet are good. Pool looked big enough for play but too small for a swim. The king bed was firm but comfortable, and one person rolling didn't disturb the other person. On a negative note, in this day and age, we were surprised at the non-eco-friendliness of the breakfast buffet. There were pressed cardboard plates and bowls, rather than washable dishes, and everything went into the trash (other than glasses and mugs).

We checked in on a drive from Toronto to Halifax. The hotel is fine, clean with middle of the road finishes. - except for the flooring. It was vinyl everywhere except the bathroom. I didn't like it. The breakfast was good and the hotel was quiet even though the place was very full.

the staff at this htel was excellent, especially Kevin, he was ver helpful in trying to resolve a situation that was of concern to us. Room was excellent, very clean ad everything was working properly. The decor was new and tasteful. Easy wi-fi The staff recommended a restaurant PATRIMONE it was located in Saint Jaques N.B.. It was difficult to find in the dark,but the food was WORTH EVERY MINUTE OF THE DRIVE. The experience, the atmosphere and the Wood Oven Pizza , made for a delightful evening.. We stayed there twice in the last month and it is a great place to stay. The location is fantastic . The staff are lovely and welcoming. The rooms are clean and neat and comfortable. The breakfast is very good.

Very good overall. However, Our room was on the first level which was noisy due to nearby vehicles and motorcycles and sound from second level. While breakfast included a good variety of food, it was extremely congested with staff refreshing self serve areas and guests waiting for an ultra slow toasting machine.

Nice hotel and very convenient to the highway. Room was pleasant and clean, bed comfortable. We had a room on the main level with drive up access with patio doors. As the hotel allows pets it was very handy as we were travelling with our dog. Also good for getting bags in and out of the vehicle.. Breakfast had a a good selection to choose from. Would recommend this hotel.

we really liked the floors since they are easy to tell they are clean. the elevator is very slow but no big deal. it does operate smoothly. lobby is very nice. lotsa place 2 sit but not crowded looking. breakfast was tasty & the severs were friendly.

My wife and I have just checked into the Best Western Edmunston and the lovely lady at the front desk (pleasant service, thank you!) put us in a suite with a King bed. The room is enormous! The renovation basically combined two former single rooms and placed a full kitchen with living room on one side and the king bedroom and wc on the other. I highly recommend the new suites, especially if you're planning to stay for a few days and cook for yourself. Good Job, Best Western Edmunston!

This newer hotel was large, clean, had a lovely big bed and provided a good complimentary breakfast, There was lots of parking available. There was an indoor pool which would be good for families, especially after a long day of driving.

This hotel was a great stay. Excellent help from staff and the place was clean and nicely decorated. Morning breakfast was excellent. Pool amenities were great for small children and the water slide was great for older children. Decor in room seemed to be outdated but rooms were clean and worth the price. Great stay. Would definitely stay again.

A lovely, newer hotel. Pool area was excellent for small children. Complimentary breakfast was great. Service was above average. Bar and outdoor lounge area were very nice and stylish. Central location. Main floor rooms have patio doors accessible for parking which was very convenient.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus in Edmundston on our drive back to Ontario from PEI. It was one of the few pet-friendly hotels in the area. Our room was spacious, well furnished and comfortable. I was a bit surprised there was no carpeting - it was more of a laminate-type floor. I'm not sure if all of the rooms are like this or just the pet-friendly ones. In any case, it made sense for a pet-friendly room. The breakfast area had a good selection of food, but it was a bit on the small side and crowded at the time we went down. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We had a reservation and that was easy to make. When we arrived there was 3 people ahead of us, the line moved very fast. At the counter we were greeted with sorry for the wait. The check in was fast, then to our room. Everything was clean and neat. We both had a great night's sleep, ready for the days journey ahead.

Really not much wrong with this Hotel. Room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Even the "Hotel" breakfast was good. Breakfast area was really small, but there are tables in the other areas. Pool and Jacuzzi were wonderful, clean and enjoyable. We didn't go to the lounge/bar on the second floor, but there is an outdoor patio with table and chairs behind the BW sign. Coffee in the lobby sucked, but k-cups in room were great. We would stay here again!!

This is a nice hotel, consistent with BW standards, the staff are very nice and the rooms are always clean. If anything could improve I would say the gym, some free weights would be my preference over the complicated weight machine with no diagrams on what does what...

This was the third Best Western we stayed at on this trip and the consistency of excellence was what impressed me the most. I slept so well at all three, enjoyed the breakfasts and the rooms were beautiful. The staff were friendly at all three. The view was amazing as the Edmundston hotel is perched on a hill with a beautiful view of the area and the inside is gorgeous.

This hotel is a great stop for work. It is a busy hotel and the free breakfast area could be larger ( many people look for seating to enjoy breakfast) the rooms are very clean and quiet. I highly recommend this location as a stop.

This Best Western's location is good. We we have stopped here on our way to and from university. There are no surprises and getting breakfast is a nice added bonus. We have used this location over a four year period. Would recommend for those on a cross-country road trip.

I just needed a short night rest, made shorter by a 6am wake up call that should have been 6.30, but it would have been nice to stay longer. The room and bed were perfect, roomy and clean. The extra sliding door means hallway noice is reduced--did not hear any people as I went to sleep. A cozy bar is off the second floor. Complimentary breakfast provided a good variety of warm and other foods. My time was too short to enjoy the pool, hot tub, or water slide. Also an iron and iron board...

Conveniently located just off of the TCH, this is a very comfortable hotel. The central area has been upgraded to include a very modern bar facility. The pool area is excellent, with a huge silde for the kids and a hot tub for us older folks. Rooms are a good size. Self serve breakfast was very good. Overall good value hotel which I would stay at again.

We stayed here as a stop over on our way from Halifax to Ottawa. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Having a hot breakfast was great, and the breakfast staff were fabulous. We loved the arrangment and seating options outside the main breakfast room.

I recently stayed overnight at this hotel with my family on our way to PEI from Montreal. I chose this hotel based on feedback from a mom in a Facebook group. Great hotel! We were situated on the 1st floor and our parking spot was right outside our balcony! Very convenient for loading and unloading the car. The room was clean and spacious. All the amenities such as toiletries, fridge, and microwave. The hotel serves a hot breakfast with lots of choice in the morning. Too bad they could not extend the time for the weekend. The ladies who work at the breakfast nook are very nice and helpful. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the water slide and accompanying pool. Unfortunately, the pool is too small to really swim around. They do have a nice wading area for the younger kids and a hot tub for the adults. The only negative thing I have to add is the floor is a bit thin, so we heard all the noise in the morning from the upstairs guests. Apart from that, I would highly recommend this hotel for families or couples who are looking for a stopover on their way to PEI.

We had a great stay, not only were the rooms nice the pool was lots of fun for the kids and the breakfast had many choises but in the morning we had car problems and the maintenance crew came out to give us a hand. We will be back for sure on our next trip!!! Thank you Best Western for a great stay.

We always stay at this hotel on our way out East! It does not disappoint! The hotel lobby was just renovated and looks amazing. The room amenities are fantastic! The beds are always comfortable. I wish there was more parking

Given the other reviews on this site I was honestly expecting better. We did two stays here one week apart, first being going into the Maritimes and the other being when we were heading back home. First visit: Received and email the day before asking for information and arrival time which I duly filled out informing them of an expected arrival between 1PM and 3PM so an early arrival. Get to the hotel and we get booked into a room. Get to the room and someone was already in it, turns out they had just gotten that room as well. So back to the front desk to get that sorted out. Was then given another room, get to room and could tell it had just been cleaned but that it also had a very heavy musty smell(on top of the cleaning solution used by the housekeeper). Given the location of the hotel and knowing they had to be turning people through this hotel all the time this came as a huge surprise to us. We couldn't determine the exact location the smell was coming from. We opened the patio doors to get some airflow and that did help some. We also used the pool on that trip and there was a very heavy smell of chlorine, and no towels requiring use to go to the front desk to get towels. That night the compressor at the back of the hotel was so loud it kept my girlfriend up for most of the night, so she was tired all next day. At breakfast the lineup was long due to the poor layout of the food area where the waffle machine was placed right before the rest of the hot food, slowing everyone down if someone was making waffles. Also there was a lack of seating for everyone, we were lucky in getting seating but I saw others spend a long time trying to find a place to eat. I would rate this stay as a 1 out of five stars. Stay number two: we seriously thought about changing hotels and cancelling the room but after talking to some others who had stayed there and that they had not experienced anything like that we decided to give them another chance. We get to the hotel and got a room away from the condenser and one where we had a dedicated parking spot right in front of the room, this was very convenient. However, we again encountered the same musty smell as the previous visit but not as bad. How this has not been noted before is a huge surprise to us. Again we opened the patio door to clear the air in the room. Went to the pool again and the chlorine smell and fumes were even worse then last time, and again we had to go to the front desk to get towels. Breakfast this time didn't result in as bad a problem for seating. Food at both breakfasts was decent. I would rate this visit as a 3 so my overall score for the hotel is a two. Unless we hear that they are doing a more detailed cleaning of the rooms including a thorough airing out of the place I cannot see us returning to this hotel in the future. Especially at the price point they are charging for a room. They do have a great location but there are several things that definitely need to be improved upon.

We stayed here over night while traveling. The room was very nice, clean and beds were very comfy. There is vinyl flooring instead of carpet which we prefer as it is easier to keep clean. The breakfast was amazing! Real scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon, home fries, beans and great fruit cups as well as area to make yogurt parfait with mixed fruit, granola, etc. Good coffee as well. We would definitely recommend this hotel and plan to stay again.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms and bed are very comfortable. However, the service we received did leave a lot to be desired. After checking in, we were told that the only elevator was out of service and that we were on the 4th floor! Told we could not be moved to a lower room even though my husband has heart issues. They did agree to have someone take our luggage to our room and bring it down again the next day. The manager did recommend a great place for supper. However, when we returned from supper, the only parking spaces available were a few for the first floor rooms which are all assigned to a specific room. We asked the front desk clerk where we could park and she just threw her hands in the air and said "I don't know"! Then she said to park in one of the assigned spots.....meaning that the people in those rooms would then be out of luck for parking! We did finally grab a spot next to one of the MANY large trucks and trailers which were taking up multiple spots.....about 15 spots for 5 trucks! Had to rush out first thing in the morning in order not to get hit by the truck trying to leave. When my husband called the front desk in the morning, the clerk spoke to him in French, even though he spoke to her in English. He had to request several times to be spoken to in English! Service and caring for customers was non-existent at this hotel...especially with regards to any parking issues. Will NEVER stay at this hotel again!!

Stayed here two nights. Beds are very comfy and rooms are clean. The bar is a must visit in the evenings. Love the atmosphere there and the local brews were tasty. The hotel went through some renovations recently and it looks great. The elevator was down but it was not a big deal. The staff was very accommodating and great to deal with. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Overnight stay while traveling through. Room was clean and standard. No carpet in the room we stayed in. It felt cleaner in a way but always in another. Standard amenities in the room. The bar was a nice feature. The pool was small but it worked. Very busy at this time of year and we had a quiet night. Average price for the area.

Staying here now and extremely displeased. We booked a renovated king room on the website. The renovated room was $70 more for the night. They gave us the old run down room for the higher price! When I complained to the front desk, they told me all the rooms are the same price. I called them out on that nonsense and then was told that I must have booked a regular room with the toll free line, and I said nope, I booked on your website and carefully compared the differences between the rooms and the prices, and I purposefully chose to pay more for the nicer room. The twit said she would verify my rate, then she just started telling me the same lie that all the rooms are the same price.... Seriously. When I told her I could look on the website now and show her that was not true, she started the same excuses that I got what I booked. Don't stay here. They lie to you and switch the room at the last minute.... I should have guessed there was something wrong when I checked in because they made me pay for the room immediately (as opposed to charging me when I checked out). Obviously they knew all along they were giving me an old room at the renovated price and they knew I would complain, so they took my money ahead of time. I travel for business about 75 nights per year and have never been treated so dishonestly by a hotel company before. THIEVES.

We are traveling with our 2 dogs and the hotel was very dog friendly. We got a room on the ground floor with a walk out door which was great for the pups! The room had linoleum instead of carpet which would make for easy clean up (not necessary for our dogs). There was only a $10 charge for dogs which I feel is very reasonable.

Required 2 rooms to accommodate our family of 5 - placed on different floors and opposite side of hotel. No cots available to put us all in one room, no ability to move one of the rooms. Interrupted 5 times during check in. Towels not available in pool area. Offered compensation in terms of 4 bags of chips and 4 bottles of water for inconvenience which means they do not recognize that we are a family of 5. Pool area small. Also offered a discount on a future visit to this location but will require supervisor Jennifer to remember us years from now. Will not return

Still a good choice for a hotel with comfortable beds and pleasant helpful staff, but the hotel is in need of repairs. For example - we had three lamps in our room, only one worked, the sconce light in the room didn't work, the furniture looked old, and the elevator button for the fourth floor didn't work. All were brought to the attendtion of the front desk. The front desk clerk did her best to replace the lamps but could only find one other working lamp for our use and the front desk said they were "working on getting the elevator fixed". The breakfast is OK - the standard BW items. There is a nice pool, lots of parking and a nice lounge area on the second floor. The staff is always great and tries their best to help. Hopefully there will be a maintenance program started before it becomes an issue.

Family of 5 stayed here overnight going from ontario to P.E.I. rooms are spacious and clean. Staff are friendly. Right off the highway in edmundston, Food down the road. Bottom floor rooms have parking and a walk out. Very handy. We would stay here again

This hotel was extremely clean, the staff are very friendly and accommodating and the location is great. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay there again. The pool area is awesome!

Heading home to Ontario from the East Coast on Canada Day we checked into the hotel that has parking in front of your room(very convenient) don't know how old it is but it's one of the nicest I've stayed in & I travel a lot. Rooms are well appointed,and immaculate , staff very friendly. We came back from seeing the sites at the Falls & the walking bridge worn out, so we headed for the bar upstairs & had a couple of drinks on the balcony on a warm night thanks to the bartender. I just wish there were Fireworks! Great job Best Western Plus!

Travelling 8 hrs on a very hot day. Hotel was a welcome sight. Staff were friendly, checkin was quick Rooms are nice, water slide for children available. Nice pub available if desired. Overall nice spot

for the price it's a good hotel, room are relatively new, pool is little dirty but have a hot tub, the lobby is very nice and employees are very nice (speak french too). The included breakfast is very very good, eggs, bacon, potatoes, sausage etc. A good choice overall for the price!

Stayed here on the way home from Ontario. Good hotel, very clean and good service. The rooms are well laid out and very comfortable. The only thing the room needs is thicker towels though. Good recommendation on restaurants also.

I have stayed here frequently and probably the best staff for recognizing a frequent visitor. If you are a business traveler request a room on the 4th floor. Modern updated rooms and very quiet. Breakfast is always consistent and the coffee is good. Location is fantastic as it is 2 minutes off the highway and a nice walk to the Casino.

My uncle has severe physical limitations. The BWP Edmundston was recommended by family who frequently stay there. Upon booking, an accessible room with a walk-in shower and a queen size bed was requested. The agent confirmed this was available. Upon checkin, the room allocated had 2 double beds (although the front desk clerk said they were queens) and a bathtub - hence not a walkin shower. Apparently only suites have walk-in showers and this information was not provided when a separate phone call was made to confirm the amenities of the room weeks prior to arrival. Had this option been provided a suite would have been booked as we required a second room anyway. No suites were available when we returned to the desk notifying them that the room was not appropriate or as advertised. Additionally, the grab bar in the shower was not placed appropriately to be of benefit. Based on our family's recommendations we had been looking forward to our stay. We were thoroughly disappointed. We are traveling back through NB in a week and are most definitely reconsidering our accommodation options for our stay in Edmundston. The staff should be required to have sensitivity training to understand the impact that seemingly small things like a bathtub versus a walk-in shower can have on a person, their dignity and their circumstances. The staff and the hotel should be required to do better.

We tried to reserve by phone an accessible room in Edmundston, NB, in five different hotels, but we were told that all the accessible rooms were reserved!!! We finally booked a ``normal`` room at the Best Western Plus. When we arrived, we asked the receptionist (Nathalie) if there was a congress of handicap persons in Edmunsdton which would explained why all the occupied handicap rooms in the city were booked. To our surprise, Nathalie explained that most people reserve rooms by Internet and are not aware that when they reserve a room with two Queen size beds, they will probably have an accessible room: there is no mention of it neither in Tripadvisor site or any other sites of this situation. However, she found us a perfectly accessible room for the night. The room was perfect with a floor without carpet which is a must when you have a wheelchair and the bathroom was also very well adapted. They provided us with different menus from restaurants that deliver at the Hotel. The beds were very comfortable and I enjoyed a very good breakfast. We were able to have a person to help me get my husband out of bed. Overall, a very good stay, many thanks to Nathalie.

1-night stop on our way to the Acadian Route. First time in New Brunswick and the front desk young lady was very polite, friendly and efficient. We had an executive suite on top floor (4th). It is situated right next to hospital and grey rock casino. Included parking, internet. We did not try the indoor pool or jacuzzi. The positive: more square footage, microwave, small fridge, weight scale, makeup mirror with small seat, nice roomy shower, citrus bath amenities, room design is good (reading corner, computer chair and desk, (sliding door between bathroom and main room), flooring instead of carpeting feels cleaner, plenty of lighting options, electric fireplace is a nice touch, king bed, Keurig with 4 coffee & 2 tea kcup. 6 storage drawers and 1 closet. The toilet seat is surprisingly confortable ( first time i review a toilet seat!) Need improvement: Bed is an ordinary mattress with an added pillow top not attached and the mattress sheet does not tuck under mattress making it uncomfortable and too soft. Coffee in breakfast area is horrible, air conditioning is noisy in room, not much hot water in bathroom sink.

We were upgraded to a suite on the 4th floor. Living room and we'll equipped kitchen with island eating area. Large bedroom with king bed and bath with walk in shower. Nearby are a few fast food restaurants and a Boston pizza. Closets are in the living room area. Room also equipped with iron and ironing board, coffee maker and fridge and freezer.

Could not be more pleased with it. The room was clean and spacious. It was well stocked with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee machine, ironing board and iron, hair blower, and even a shower cap. Breakfast was filling and good. The eggs were not powdery but actually nice. Good pool for kids with a hot tub. Staff were pleasant. Easy on and off access from the TransCanada highway and also five minutes away from the casino with a reasonable restaurant.

Big queen room, coffee maker, microwave and fridge, and a table to eat at. Pool w a water slide was fun for the kid for hours. Breakfast is included and a really excellent spread, healthy and also fun kids items like make your own waffle. Lots of milk options including lactose free and Almond. Rooms on the main level have the option for patio doors and parking right outside which is such a bonus when traveling with a child. Our GPS had a hard time finding it for some reason, but we did make it there via Google on the phones :)

Rooms are huge and have no rugs. Very clean. Decor a bit outdated however there is a nice pool, hot tub and near the casino; right off the highway. The breakfast is delicious and staff very friendly! Comfortable beds - thick mattress.

Great spot to stop enrolee from Ontario to southern NB. Arrived late so didn't get to use the pool and fitness centre but the room and other facilities were great. Breakfast was fine before we set off.

My wife and I stayed one night here, on our way out to Halifax. This hotel was excellent in every aspect. We found our room to be clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a welcome respite. The complimentary breakfast was tasty and hot. We would definitely stay here again on our way through.

Excellent service and great amenities. Very close to several restaurants and the casino. The kids loved the pool area and the breakfast was much better than expected. The bar/lounge was an added bonus for the adults. We will certainly be returning.

This hotel is very unique looking and beautiful has antique furniture and is very clean and easy to get to off the highway... lots of parking and is pet friendly and has a lovely variety of food for breakfast. Also the staff is very accommodating to help with anything.

...about half way between Ontario and the Maritime provinces. We were heading from Ottawa to PEI and Edmunston, NB, is a pretty good place to park for the night (we're past the 12 hour drives). The Best Western Plus is one of several hotel/motels to choose from and we based our choice on the tripadvisor recommendations. It's not the best we stayed in ever, but I'd rate it a solid 7 of 10. Upside? Bed was very comfortable. Shower was fantastic, great pressure and hot! And it was as clean as we could hope for (thinking of other reviews). Front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and fully bi-lingual. Downside? One elevator that was temperamental for some reason (they were doing renovations and maybe somebody locked it off?). Whatever the reason it meant a 5 minute wait to head to the 3rd floor. Breakfast was meh. Nothing special - yellow pebble scrambled eggs, not-so-good breakfast sausage, toast, a waffle machine, yogurt, etc...I will say it has about the best coffee i've tasted in a hotel - very nice heading out on the road. Overall a good night's stay for about $150 all in for AAA/CAA

Very nice modern hotel with very nice amenities to the pool with a water slide for children plus a Jacuzzi. There's a very nice Lounge upstairs with great bartenders. It is a pet friendly hotel so there is no Carpeting and the floor above you can be a little bit noisy when people are walking on it

We stayed on 4th(top) floor in a 1 bedroom suite with 2 queen beds. Full kitchen with island. Spacious. Spotless. Electric fireplace. Hidabed very firm to sit on. Beds comfortable. Nice bathroom. At almost 300$ a night (taxes in) it seemed a bit expensive but we did prepare meals there. Hot tub in pool area is nice. Very small pool with tube slide for kids. Also a splash pad. The pool area opened at 9 am.

The front desk attendant was friendly, the room was exceptionally clean, and the breakfast had a wide variety of options. However, the computer wasn't working in the lobby, the water was not on for the water slide, and the alarm clock didn't work (received wake-up call). I have noted these issues and would stay here again.

Only spent one night here but was pleased with the overall experience although the construction in the entry way took away some of the charm and ambiance of the decor. Room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was the usual BW fare, nothing special but served the purpose.

Bed was a bit stiff and the blankets were a bit old and had clearly been washed a lot. But everything else was great! Rooms smell fresh and clean. Breakfast has a large variety but would like to see a more waste free environment. Paper plates, plastic forks, condiments individually wrapped in plastic,... It's 2019!! Overall, would still recommend.

Very nice hotel. The reception was fast and efficient. The hotel was very clean and in good condition. The breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of foods. There is a laundry room with two washers and two driers at a nominal charge (can't remember the exact price).

Extremely dated room decor and old mattresses. Location is extremely convenient when travelling to Quebec. The kids enjoy the pool area however there weren't any towels left for them to use and the floor could use a cleaning.

Hotel was very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Room was very clean, staff was friendly. Breakfast items were good and had a wide enough selection. Lounge was a nice touch, but felt they should have finger food. Other than that, a very nice stay.

Great hotel, but the noise of the heater was too loud, making sleep difficult, other wise this hotel would rank as a 10. Rooms nice and clean, breakfast very good and service is excellent. It has nice driveup rooms.

We stayed 2 separate nights in late September and early October at this above average BW. This is probably the nicest BW i've ever stayed in. The rooms were clean, quiet and quite large. A real plus at this hotel is the lovely L'Inox lounge on the 2nd floor. A very helpful and attentive staff. Highly recommended.

I always stay at the Bestwestern in Edmunston for my business trips. The rooms are nice and updated. The hotel is always clean and the staff is very friendly. They have a nice breakfast with good hot fresh coffee. The bar is amazing and has a beautiful view, it's probably the fanciest bar in town, I really enjoy it. Plus the hotel is a 1min drive to the local casino if you're feeling lucky.

Clean room and good breakfast. The cost of the room was reasonable for the time of the year. Went during a volley ball tournament so there was a lot of activity in the hotel but there was no issues. Nice tourist surrounding area.

This is my usual stay on my Yarmouth to Ottawa trip. Beautiful room with King bed and in immaculate condition. Staff was excellent at checkin and checkout. Breakfast was good with a variety of items. I will be back.

My wife and I stopped here as a half way point from Ontario to Nova Scotia to Ontario. It is a very nice looking hotel close to the Trans Canada. Reception staff were OK friendly but not the friendliest. Rooms were large and clean but average to just above average otherwise (ie beds hard mattress lumpy pillows) The worst part of overnight stay was the breakfast. One of the worst breakfast's we have ever experienced and we are frequent hotel travellers (25 times + annually) Scrambled eggs bounced sausages were mystery meat and foul tasting and home fries soggy and just bad despie all teh ketchup and salt one could use. The coffee however was very good

Very good, planned to stay at this hotel en-route to Ottawa. Very clean, staff efficient and personable. I would highly recommend this location. It is conveniently located off the highway I would also recommend being on the first level in order to have an outside entrance to your room.

Very pleasant clean hotel. Pet friendly rooms. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was well set out but we found that the cooked food in buffet overly salted and the meat quality less than we would like. But the other options like cereal, yogurt etc. were fine. The serving staff were trying hard to please and were very helpful.

I love the decor at this hotel. Also, a great perk was that I was there on a Wednesday and got a small locally brewed beer and 4 chicken wings free of charge from the restaurant downstairs as they were running a promo. I've used this hotel for corporate events as well and was impressed with the speed and level of service I got from the team.

I always stay at the BW while in Edmundston. Close to the highway, gas station and fast food. Quiet neighbourhood to walk around. Very clean and wonderful staff. Breakfast offers healthy choices, coffee was a bit week. Drive up to ground floor room is very convenient.

Spent 1 night here, easy to get to, just off the highway, in an apartment area. Close to casino, restaurants etc. Very clean, breakfast was good. Pool is small and once the kids get in there, there is no room for the adults. A pet peeve here is the luggage carts, people don't bring them back to the lobby for other people to use...so I'll guess we'll also just keep it from now on...Just bring them back for other people!!! Yes we'd stay here again.

This is an excellent hotel if you are travelling between Quebec and Nova Scotia. It is very popular so make sure that you have reservations. The staff are very courteous, friendly and helpful. The rooms are well appointed and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is always clean and everything is always working in it. The lobby always has ice-cold lemonade available. The pool is small, but quite nice. The second floor has a lounge area that is popular. Breakfast is the usual Best Western offering.

Have stayed here several times, very convenient location close to all amenities; greatly appreciated recognition as BW Diamond Rewards member & offered a complimentary upgrade to a suite which was available at check-in! Excellent service at front desk reception by Nathalie & also Marc during our stay, both very friendly & customer-oriented staff members! Hotel is well-maintained & clean throughout, impressive lobby & unique decor; very quiet Rooms, totally soundproof & extremely comfortable beds, washroom & tub/shower were all immaculately clean, good water pressure . Complimentary breakfast offerings also included real scrambled eggs, bacon & sausages, baked beans & potato wedges in addition to usual hot & cold cereals, breads/bagels/muffins, yogurt, etc replenished constantly by very efficient kitchen staff. Nice bar & social area on 2nd floor, very reasonable prices. Will definitely stay here again when we are travelling through this area!

Stayed here on our trip to the east coast and again 2 weeks later on our way home. Very convenient to the highway and close to various places to eat. Very nice breakfast starting at 6:00 AM with an offering that you don't often see at any hotel. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms with everything in good working order. Was able to park right outside the sliding door to the room making it easy to unload and load the car.

Found this hotel, clean, with friendly staff. The room were given had microwave, small fridge and coffee maker. Breakfast was included in our nightly rate. Breakfast items were fresh, with a great variety. I would highly recommend this hotel to families, couples. Great value

I like BWP hotels to begin with, but this one is above my normal expectations for the brand. Relatively new building, it is very well maintained. The poll (with slide and splash pad) was great for the kids after a long day on the road. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The bathroom is spotless!! The included breakfast was decent. Overall a very good hotel.

Possibly the only Best Western in the entire chain with a long lace runner on the coffee table in the front lobby, this small hotel is filled with grandmotherly touches that while surprising at first, actually do add charm and individuality. Very very clean. Very good breakfast including home cooked beans and sausages. Mattress in 210 was a bit squeaky and the floor mat frayed but otherwise a very fine place for a stopover. Very friendly staff.

The check-in was fast, the room fairly large with chairs and small table outside the walk-out sliding door. The buffet breakfast was substantial, good and quick so that we we back on the road effortlessly.

This was our second visit to this hotel and, once again, it was great. I had inadvertently booked the wrong date online and prepaid. The hotel staff explained that I would have to contact head office to make the change but had me check in so I could conduct the administration from my room. The contact at head office was very helpful as were the hotel staff in adjusting to my mistake. The room was excellent and I have yet to find a hotel with better beds. We will be back.

We stayed here while overnighting in Edmundston. It is a very nice property located almost adjacent to the local hospital. It has no restaurants within walking distance but several options a short drive into the town centre. Hotel is located off Exit 18. We had a NS, King with a fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker. These things were kind of shoe horned into the room but they were there and we made use of them. The main area of the room was decent and had a sofa bed and desk. The desk chair looked like it was about 25 years old (needed to be put out to pasture) and the plastic was coming off the arms and it was shedding but that was really the only oddity in the place. The room and washroom were both clean and the tub/shower was nice and looked like it had been upgraded lately. It had tile floor in the entry and bathroom and it had linoleum in the rest of the room. Something I don't ever remember seeing in a hotel room or at least not for a long time. But it was clean and functional so it served the purpose. The staff were helpful and personable and you had no problem with French or English. There was a free continental breakfast and they had a cocktail lounge that opened at 4 pm daily. They also had meeting rooms that looked very nice. Indoor pool with waterslide. We enjoyed our stay here and got a very good room rate. So it was value for money. We would stay here again.

6 floors (I think) with 2 elevators. Plenty of free parking on site. Nice lobby. All the hotel staff were friendly and bilingual. Room was clean, king size bed, very comfortable. Standard room, bath room size ok. Room had a microwave and mini fridge. Ice machines were on the 1st & 2nd floor only. Breakfast was normal and coffee was good. Not a whole lot of tables but people moved in and out quickly, always seem to be a table available.

I often stay at this Best Western and the one located in Grand Falls NB on my annual trips home. They never disappoint but this time our journey got delayed by 3-4 hours due to a horrible accident and heavy traffic. We were originally booked in Grand Falls and the cut off time had passed for cancelations. I call the Grand Falls hotel directly and the hostess was so lovely telling me not to worry about the dead line and offering to help organize moving it to a closer location. The staff at the Edmundston location were just as gracious in getting us organized at the end of a very long and difficult day of travel. The rooms in Edmundston have had been updated since our last stay and was impeccably clean. The morning staff worked hard to keep the breakfast area stocked and clean. Service with smile. We will continue to stay at these locations and would recommend them to anyone travelling this area.

This is the second year we have stayed here. The rooms remain consistent and late night check in after long drive from Barrie was smooth and quick. The hotel is quiet and sources nearby for food and gas are 24 hour operations great for eating dinner at 1100p.m. The hotel is very clean and the pool with waterslide looked inviting. The complimentary breakfast has popular variety of items. Great location to visit area attractions like Botanical gardens and Grand Falls.

Another nice Best Western with great staff and breakfast included. The room was quiet and clean. The hotel is very quiet. We did not have any problems at all. very nice lobby and breakfast area. I would stay there again if in the area

After staying in some budget motels this was heaven. We booked on Best Western site and strangely got a lower rate if we were not signed in better than booking.com. Check in was quick by a charming bilingual young lady. Our room was on third floor not far from the washers and dryers. It is $2 to wash or dry so convenient. The room was large, clean with king size bed. Coffee and popcorn provided. The amenities were very nice.

We arrived to this Best Western in the middle of a severe thunderstorm. We were exhausted and worn out from a long vacation, during which our car was totaled. Needless to say, we were tired and sore and just needed a good night's rest. The main lobby was beautiful and bright. The front desk staff had us checked in quickly. We really liked the pre-check in that was sent to us the day before, so that we could request the type of room we wanted. They were also able to recommend the local Scores for dinner (we were too tired to go out). For delivery, it was pretty decent. Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was ridiculously comfortable and the pillows so soft. Lots of channels to choose from for our enjoyment. The shower had good pressure and the water was hot. Breakfast was plentiful and yummy....a good start to our trip the next day. We would stay at this hotel again, especially given how close it is to the TransCanada Highway.

We only stayed one night as a stop over at the end of our vacation. We arrived and it was pouring rain, we had reservations. The front desk clerk was very helpful, we had a ground floor room which was accessible from outside through a sliding glass door and the front desk clerk went and unlocked the sliding door so we could bring our luggage in easier from the parking lot. The room was very spacious and clean. Perfect for a good nights sleep. Breakfast was included, scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles as well as bagels, toast, cereal, coffee, juice etc.

Check in staff very unhelpful. I had made an error in booking. Staff just smiled and said they can't help. Told me to contact Expedia. Every question I asked I was told to contact Expedia - with a smile! I think the check in person enjoyed my dilemma. The hotel was very nice however will not stay there again because of the way I was treated by check in. The check in staff is the first line for the hotel and they should represent it faithfully not just ignore a guest's problem because it doesn't concern them.

Check in was not helpful and not professional. Did not inform us about breakfast details. Guests are not informed of direction to room upon departing elevator. We noticed an unpleasant smell in the hallway to our room & upon entering this smell was more noticeable. Immediately asked person who checked us in to come to our room and tell us what this smell was. We were advised it was a cleaning material smell, which we questioned and employee was not interested in our concern. Also mat's on floor were dirty, grubby & in poor condition. Spoke with General Manager next morning and requested he check about our concerns with his staff and call us. He did not call, not surprising, and I called him again today, call did not go well and I must say this person is not qualified for his position. I asked him to have the owner call me and he said this is not going to happen as he is the GM & everything stops with him!!! I informed him that I will never stay at this hotel again and in speaking with friends, I determined they no longer stay at this Hotel!!!

The rooms were nice but the hallway on the 3rd floor had a funky smell. The pool area is very small and geared towards children with a water slide and fountain spray area. It is a great hotel for families and not that great for couples. Breakfast was very good.

Hotel is very convenient to highway, and in general clean and well maintained. Indoor pool was cloudy, which always concerns me. Booked weeks ago and asked for a ground floor room. At check-in told they were all booked several weeks ago. While one clerk was telling me this, a gentleman with no reservations walked in and asked the next clerk for a ground-floor room. She said that was no problem, and gave him one. Not happy about that. Would have been better off to not make a reservation. Would return, but not my first choice.

This was our overnight stay in our travels from Ontario to cape Breton. Hotel was fully booked on the night of our stay. The hotels has had some room updates but unfortunately ours was not one of them. We had an older style room in first floor. The flooring was tile which was still wet when we entered. The furniture and bed were older and their were dirty mats beside the bed. Breakfast in the morning was very crowded - to be expected - but that made it very difficult to get our food. The breakfast was very good with lots of variety. For the price - which was fair for the area as they do have an excellent area for halfway point - is steep for the hotels room appearance. Would probably try another hotel if we stayed in this area again

This hotel was the first stop on our journey to the Atlantic Provinces and we were not disappointed. Beautiful hotel, beautiful room, clean facilities and amazing breakfast! This was a wonderful break after a seven hour drive to arrive at a hotel with such excellent services.

Awesome place just off the highway. Rooms are big and very clean! We had a room that we could drive up to which was nice for loading the car. Breakfast was fair, waffle iron was dirty wirh a burnt waffle in it.

We stopped at this hotel for one night and it is a great place. As you can see with my pictures and the other pictures of other guests this is a great place to stay. I was surprised by the spacious hallways: they measure about 7.5 feet. The rooms do not have carpets: what a great idea. They don't have a restaurant but you can order in. They have a breakfast though. I recommend this place.

Thoughly enjoyed our annual visit en route from Halifax, NS to home in Ottawa. Ont. Easily accessible from the Trans Canada, excellent reception from cheerful and courteous staff and comfortable room at the high standard we have come to expect. The breakfast was outstanding and included additional sides not seen before including sausages and potatoes wedges. Highly recommend a stay at this best Best Western.

Great location right off the Trans Canada. Rooms always clean. Good breakfast before departure. Highly recommend this hotel. Book in advance as it is always almost full in the summer. Try the Pirates Paradise close by for great lobster roll at Grey Rocks.

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. It was also very handy to the trans Canada Highway. Although the price was higher than what we are used to while travelling to Florida we were glad that it was close to the main highway and was pet friendly. The free breakfast had a very good variety.

This was far the best location and hotel we stayed at of the 3 . Pool, breakfast. Front desk, rooms and 2nd floor bar all great. Pool is noisy. Small and echo . Kids slide and mushroom water sprinkler. Next to Casio. Good location to downtown. Gym has only 3 machines. Very small. Lots of stairs. Elevator , but slow . Decor is good . Nice to sit in the main area . Fire place on 2 levels. Rooms have micro, fridge, coffee k cup. The front rooms have a great view. Lower rooms have there own parking and direct access to Doors. I would say it is great for families. Wi- Fi. Pc on main floor with printer. Place is in great shape . Exit 18 off highway. So easy!!!!

We stopped at this hotel looking for a room after a long drive with 2 young children. Good location, and the outside, and lobby looked appealing. We were turned away, and told there was no vacancy. We were immediately able to book a room online from the parking lot. We were given the keys to our room, but found a “do not disturb” sign on the door. We entered to find the room had not been cleaned. We were then brought to a new room, trailing luggage and our 2 young children, but instead of an apology we were told “you booked an unclean room,” (maybe it came across wrong because of a language barrier, but it sounded like we were at fault for somehow CHOOSING a room that hadn't been cleaned?!). We requested a crib for our infant, it was delivered with something scattered on the sheets - dirt, larvae?? My husband then decided to use the pull out couch, so I could sleep in the bed with our infant...pulling back the sheets on the couch he found hair, and crumbs. We called the front desk, they were apologetic and brought clean sheets, and a new crib. For spending $200 per night we were expecting a much better experience. I guess we were supposed to drink away our troubles with the half empty bottle of wine we found in the fridge.

This is the perfect hotel in the perfect location when staying overnight in Edmundston. We stayed at the Days Inn in Edmundston on our way to Nova Scotia from Ottawa. We stayed st this hotel on our way back and This hotel is hands down much better and in a great location for places to eat. It's very clean and has nice comfy beds. It's also pet friendly so may bring our dog next time! Not much to do in Edmundston, especially if just staying overnight, but this hotel is very near the casino if you need to entertain yourself for a bit.

We stayed at the hotel on our way to NS and on our return home. On outhe way there we stayed in their standard 2 queen bed rm. it was your basic rm but clean, floors seem thin or the guy above us was a heavy walker. Staff were nice and bilingual for those who do not know French. Hotel is close to amenities but we ordered in from St. Hubert which came in 15 minutes. They also have a nice bar with patio seating overlooking the city. On the return trip we booked the executive king and what a difference. This side of the hotel maybe newer or renovated but the rm was very nice with an electric fireplace for ambience. I would recommend this for relatively the same price. Again staff were very nice. The only hiccup was the elevator became out of service so took the stairs to the 4th floor which really was not an issue but may of been for others.

We typically do the drive from Ontario and stop in Riviere du Loup. Decided this time to push to Edmunston. It was 1100km for us on day one, and about 780km day two. This hotel is excellent. Excellent location off the highway, close to food options, sufficient breakfast and good pet-friendly spots. Hotel staff were friendly and the room was clean, hotel seemed quiet -we were on a ground level end room. This will definitely be our go to stop on the drive from now on.

Do not stay at this hotel if you value your opinion. When I brought constructive criticism to the general manager he told me that he didn't care. That the hotel was full and if I didn't like it to go somewhere else. Never have I been treated with such disrespect.

We stopped here en route from Ontario to PEI. Was a great location off highway. Room was nice. Kids loved the pool and waterslide. Breakfast was good. Would definitely stay again if we made the same stop.

We stayed at Best Western Plus on our way from Prince Edward Island, which we prefer over the Days Inn. Although, Best Western Plus was a little crowded, we found the beds to be more comfortable. The room is equipped with a microwave, fridge, coffee machine. We used the self service laundry area in the hotel, and they only had one working washing machine and dryer which were a little old. The Best Western Plus breakfast is complimentary and different options.

stayed here 1 night on the drive to Newfoundland and 1 night on the return trip.The rooms are confortable and clean. There is a small lounge but closes at 10 pm. The night we were there the elevator was broken so had to carry the bags up to the 4th floor not the best.Should have offered some help with the bags and a discount perhaps.But a nice place to stop over.

Good location. Liked that we could park our car right outside our first floor room. Clean and spacious room. Pool looked great for kids, with a slide, but not good for adults. Breakfast pretty good with hot choices, although a bit chaotic when busy.

As a halfway stop on our trip from Moncton to Ottawa we decided to overnight at this hotel based on availability and reviews we read prior to booking. Although the hotel looks lovely from the outside, the lobby is beautifully appointed and the hallways are wide and nicely decorated, the actual ‘comfort' level of our stay was not as terrific based on the following: Our room: - shower head was a water saver and there was little to no pressure - very unsatisfactory shower - king bed springs were noisy every time we turned over - not much movement required on our part but we heard squeaky springs all night and the mattress was lumpy/uncomfortable - pillows were tiny and seemed like balls of foam Continental breakfast: - really nice that it was included (thanks!) - eggs, bacon and sausage were good - layout of food stations is inconvenient based on the small size of the eating area - coffee and juice are buried in the far corner and hard to access when people are getting cereal - large utensil dispenser takes up tons of counter space and people were having trouble finding forks/knives etc...old fashioned circular bins would take less room and easier to find - no white bread was available in the pastry cabinet - tables are spaced too closely together - hard to manoeuvre to the food stations - not enough room between the counter holding the food and the tables/chairs...had to move out of the way for people to pass and/or access food - overall very cramped Bottom line is that if we are in Edmunston again, we would choose another hotel. Perhaps it was just a bad day, but we will not return.

My family and I were traveling through Edmunston on way to Nova Scotia. After a long drive we stopped for food and found this gem of a hotel for a nights stay. We got a room here on short notice which made the stay more special. The staff were very friendly and great to talk to. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are very clean organized. Definitely would stay here again.

Loved this hotel. After experiencing a terrible stay at Comfort Inn located next door to this hotel I decided to try this place. Other than a few disappointments as stated here, this place was an absolute pleasure to stay at. Room so comfortable. Large space. Nice view.

Friendly and efficient service. Hotel lobby, bar etc tastefully decorated, but rooms feel dated in comparison, however were clean. I thought a little over priced, have stayed in better for less, but would stay here again and close to main highway. Breakfast was good, but breakfast area is far to small. There's nothing much within walking distance around the hotel, shopping area is very run down

Beautiful, New facility with all the amenities. Helpful staff, great breakfast and beautiful view. Beautiful lobby, indoor pool so bring your swimming suit. Area offers activities for single traveler, businessmen or family.

I stayed at best Western Edmunston on July 3,2018. Had a hot bath that night and went to bed. Woke up next day with numerous bites on foot and leg. Phoned and told front desk manager who said he would check into it and call me back the next day. Waite a week then called the GM. He told me he would have manager call next day. Still no call.

We spent a night at the Best Western Edmundson hotel. We were happy with its location to the Trans Canada highway. Room was clean an appeared to be recently redone. The room we had (102) was handicapped accessible, which we didn't require but it would certainly accommodate someone who did. Staff were great. Breakfast buffet although busy was very good. Restaurants nearby. Close to the University. We had a great stay !

The BW in Edmunston has a very small breakfast area for the size of the hotel, however, provided a wonderful assortment of hot food including baked beans, potatoes, sausages, ham, and ‘real' scrambled eggs. Everything was fresh and delicious. The hotel is easy to get to from the highway, the rooms are large and clean, and the staff is very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

I was a bit concerned after reading some of the terrible reviews, those people must have been having a bad day. We stayed here on our way to PEI, the hotel is conveniently located right of the highway. Front desk staff was friendly, check in was fast. Our room was clean, had fridge, coffee machine and microwave (they even left us popcorn) Hotel has pool, restaurant and wifi, there is not much more one needs for a one night stay

Awesome. Front desk arranged for us to have a ground floor room that we could park our bikes right out front of sliding glass patio doors. The room was large and spotlessly clean. Large bathroom. Well appointed. Indoor pool with water slide and a hot tub. Breakfast included. Basic but hit the spot. I would highly recommend

I think this hotel would be good for young families. It has a pool and breakfast is included. For us, it could use a refresh...we are older ?? This is our 2nd stay here in a couple of years on route to Ontario. Because of the price I would stay here again but it wouldn't be my first choice. The room has a fridge, microwave and coffee maker.

The appearance of the hotel and lobby look wonderful. The breakfast is also great. BUT THATS IT! The rooms are very poor. The beds squeak, the mattress is old, the floors are vinyl and squeak and the toilet rocks. This is not the quality one would expect from a best Western Plus, more like a cheap $60 hotel room. If you are looking for a good nights sleep i recommend you go elsewhere. When the front desk clerk asked i did tell him my concerns and his comment was we will fix it. No sincenerity there.

Lovely, spotlessly clean, traditional decor hotel. Great pool especially for children. Nice pub in hotel from 4-7 pm. Good WiFi reception. Comfortable mattress - pi?lows could be better. Would stay there again.

Families will love this hotel for the kid friendly pool area on the ground floor. Rooms large with usual amenities (microwave, fridge, coffee maker, iron) but no safe. Breakfast area was small and quite congested. Bar on 2nd floor has a pleasant outdoor seating area.

Gnereally this hotel was well maintained and the staff were excellent. However, the room we had on the ground floor with parking directly in front of the room was a little dated and the sheets for the king bed did not really fit. The sheets kept coming off the bed in the night. Could have used a more modern mattress to improve sleep quality and reduce the motion felt be each other when rolling over at night. Floors were a little noisy. Perhaps an upgraded cushion flooring would help, or going to carpet. Not many external garbage receptacles for dog poop bags and looked like many were not picking up dog dirt on grassed area to side of hotel. Hotel staff should clean that area up daily and try to insist on owners carrying out their responsibilities.

We stayed at this property for the first time two weekends ago as a stop on route to Ontario. Great location off the highway. Very clean. The pool is awesome with a separate area for smaller children. This was great as one of our children is two. Very pleasant staff as well.

Have stayed at this hotel many times. Have always enjoyed the time spent there. Staff are efficient and helpful. The pool and hot tub are always clean and welcoming. The bar is a great place to relax and enjoy some friendly conversation. Overall one of the best hotels I have stayed in.

I stayed here for a week and it was amazing. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are very clean and spacious. Lots of parking and space for tractor and buses. The Lounge is very nice with great local beers and again very friendly staff. The pool and hot tub are great and it would be amazing for a family. The breakfast is above standard with eggs, bacon, ham, potatoes and beans also has the regular stuff too. Strongly recommend this location.

Only seconds from the TransCanada Highway. Ample parking. Nice view of Edmondson from the hill. Very reasonable rates. Excellent breky. Fun pool for kids and relaxing for business travel (providing its NOT a hockey tournament weekend : ( Bilingual staff are always friendly and accommodating. Recent facelift has made the interior even more impressive. Comfortable rooms and quiet hallway floors! On our journey this is often our overnight destination. Make it yours too!

My wife and I stayed here last year on our way to our daughter and son-in-law for a visit to their new home in Ontario. This is a great choice; efficient service, great customer experience and solid advice on anything local. Looking forward to returning on Monday evening next week, and I will likely be returning on the trip back home.

While on business in Nova Scotia, I stayed here for one night. I had a late check in but I was placed in a ground floor room where I was able to back right up to my door. The room had a separated washroom area, that could be closed off to the hall door by another door. This made the room very quiet to foot traffic in the hotel. The hotel is also away from the main highway and was very quiet from vehicle traffic. The check in and out was very easy as I booked online.

Pool is lovely - Also has hot tub, slide and little kid area. Rooms were clean with comfortable beds. Free Parking. Breakfast was delicious- Lots of options! Front Desk agent was wonderful. Great family stay on way to Montreal!

Nice hotel up to date and comfortable. Lounge bar area isuniquely situated on the 2nd floor and has a very relaxinf vibe to it. Would stay Hotel is located close to several restraunts and has easy access from the highwayagain if in town.

we had a room with sliding door, easy to take luggage in/out! Nice bed, bathroom, & furniture. Popcorn in the room is a nice touch! The hair dryer isn't very good. Took a long time to dry my hair. I called for an extra blanket and 2 mins later a lady showed up with 2...

I stay here 2 nights a month for work and i really enjoy it, the hotel is always very clean and the pool and fitness areas are always fun to visit as well. The complementary breakfast is very good and has a great selection of food to satisfy most people!

I spent 6 nights here in early March for business. I booked one of their newly renovated executive king rooms. It was well worth the extra $11 a night that I paid. It felt nice to come back to each day and have that extra little bit of comfort and luxury. The bedding and pillows were great and I liked the bigger TV and modern furnishing better than their regular rooms. Also on the top floor so no noise above you. I tried out the bar for the first time on this trip. It's very nice - definitely check it out! The bar staff is so friendly and by night two I felt like a regular. Great happy hour prices for 4 pm to 7 pm. I'd suggest adding two for one wine or shots as well as the two for one beer. That would be a great touch! Loved my stay in every way. Can't comment on the breakfast as I never took part. It was March break and there were too many kids in there for my liking. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Edmundston. Very friendly GM helped me out with a small issue as well.

worst hotel stay in years, would not recommend to anyone!!! Noise transfer from hallway was horrible, staff could not control noisy guest. really old decor. the beds were really hard and uncomfortable. would have slept better in the car

The hotel was beautiful inside and out . The service was top notch , everything was perfect(except for the bacon!) our grandchildren ages 2& 5 were there as well and loved the pool areas.We would certainly return asap.

Stayed on rout to QC. Clean and friendly staff. This is a pet friendly hotel. Rooms were clean a typical of Best Western Plus. There is a nice lounge where you can unwind and have some local craft beer from the Grand Sault Brewery. Lots of parking if your hauling snowmobile trailer. Don't hesitate.

I usually chose a Best Western as they have never disappointed me yet. This hotel had a great breakfast, small pool, hot tub. I love that it didn't have carpets so it felt cleaner then most hotels. Staff was very friendly and comfortable beds. Will definitely use this stop in the summer.

After a long 12 hour drive from Ontario to New Brunswick, during a blustery snow storm and horrible driving conditions, this hotel was a welcome site. We did not have a reservation, but they were happy to accomodate us. The rooms were spacious, clean and very modern. The price was also very reasonable. Restaurant was not available on site, but there were plenty restaurants close by or you could have delivery to the hotel.I stay here again!!!

The suites are spacious, clean and the beds are sooo comfy. Keurig and popcorn in the rooms. Breakfast is good, the bar has a nice decor and atmosphere. Best place to stay in Edmundston. The kids love the pool and the water slide.

Stayed one night at this hotel with my family and dog ! We had a nice room, thx to the lady at the front desk !! The pool area is very nice, the breakfast is complete and the internet connection is good !! I will return and I recommend !!

Very nice staff although bar/lounge staff wasn't available. Bar/lounge food was ALL deep fried. No other choices. Unfortunately that is fairly close to what is available in the rest of Edmundston NB. I stayed mostly due to inclimate weather and the long drive from GTA to Quebec City.

To be honest I would have given 5 but at 1:00 am there was a late check in above my room and they were loud walkers and woke me up. The staff are super friendly and efficient. The room with a king bed was large and very clean. The breakfast was the best for a hotel which breakfast is included. Good coffee with delicious eggs and sausages. There is a pool available. This would be a definite return stay.

Never had any inconveniences to speak of. The staff are very accommodating to my needs. Because I am a regular guest, once a week, they make me feel like I am coming home and will often go out of their way to book the same room for me almost every time.

The hotel was very nice and the people were very helpful and freindly. The rooms were very lean and large enough for family. Very quiet and clean hotel and decorated nice for Holidays. Good breakfast. Close to all the down town area and places to go.

We would recommend this hotel. This was our first time staying at a Best Western and we will certainly stay there again on our yearly trip to the east coast of Canada and back to Toronto. Our one issue is that the bed was a little too firm.

Travelling for Christmastime family visit. We akways stay at the Best Western Plus in Edmundston, NB. It is the 1/2 way mark of our trip and an excellent place to stop. Excellent service, clean rooms and free internet. It also has a pool and a great bar/lounge. It includes a free breakfast with great service. A nice pickup to get you on the road.

I am a member of the Reward program. Was not recognize as one guest. Last 3 times went there they had sports teams or workers that made so much noise. Looking at the price I will consider other hotels next time in Edmunston.

Ever since this hotel has opened I have stayed here. Usually 7 to 10 nights per year. Staff are great. Room are spacious and great to the business traveler. Newly renovated breakfast are. It is larger than before with a lot more variety

I always enjoy staying at the Bestwestern in Edmundston but I really enjoy it around the Christmas holidays. The extra effort they put into the lobby is amazing and they also spare no expense as they had a crane on site for the giant Christmas tree on the canopy roof. The staff are always helpful and friendly and the room is always very very clean. I travel here every couple months for work and would not even consider staying else where. Keep up the high standards of quality.

I became a Best Western member while travelling across the country, just because the 2nd time I stayed at the same place an employee recognized me and STRONGLY suggested I join. He was nice and doing his job so well, and really cared, so why not? This time, because I had recently received an email from the BW membership rewards program, when my drive got held-up from an accident on the highway, meaning I would need a room for that night, I called BW to book one. Turned out the place was gorgeous. Elegantly decorated for Christmas. The people were extremely pleasant. The room was much better than expected. And my rewards membership savings even paid for my dinner, essentially. Great job, BW employees!!

Staff were pleasant and fluently bilingual upon arrival. Check-in was quick. The lobby is tastefully decorated for the holidays. The pool and slide look like fun (glad my daughter wasn't on the trip or we likely never would have left the pool area!) The hotel is large and seems somewhat older and outdated although it is evident that several major upgrades have been done by way of renos. My large room/suite had a microwave and mini fridge and enough room for several beds (although there was only 1!). The room likely had carpeting I assume but it has been removed and replaced with hardwood-looking laminate. The bathtub/shower and toilet are also new. Wifi was available although the connection was strong. The best part was the buffet style complimentary breakfast. The coffee was actually pretty good! (I am a coffee snob). Will likely be part again on my next business trip!

Great jewel of a hotel. We stayed for one night while travelling from PEI to Montreal. The hotel is in pristine condition and the Christmas decorations throughout the hotel were spectacular. The room was very clean and comfortable with a pleasant decor. We were particularly excited leased with the quality of the high speed Internet. The complimentary breakfast was very good with scrambled eggs sausages, bacon and potato wedges. There was also a pancake station, bagels, pastries, bread cereal and of course juice and coffee. This was a very enjoyable stay with excellent friendly professional staff.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Edmunston at the Best Western. This is a new hotel close to the highway and casino with all the amenities. The staff were fluently bi-lingual and most helpful. We'll definitely make this a regular stop!

In April of last year my wife and I stayed at this hotel and submitted a poorer than usual review. The hotel's director of rooms tracked me down and contacted me. She explained there was an error made in my room assignment and she wanted to resolve it by staying one more time. I did that a week ago and had one of the best stays in a hotel ever. As a platinum BW rewards member I can be upgraded to the best available room. Well I was, and all I can say is Wow! From the time we checked in, had complimentary drinks at the bar, assigned room 418 (you have to see it to believe it), and checked out the next morning, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff was over the top. They do the BW brand proud. And yes, I will always stay here when travelling through Edmunston.

Modern, clean and a good value for your money. The staff is friendly both at the desk and at the lounge, and the pool is nice and clean. The tiny breakfast room is poorly laid out with respect to flow and a chaotic way to start your day. I skipped that part and went to one of the many restaurants in the neighbourhood

This hotel is either fairly new or newly renovated. I had a room with a king sized bed, desk, wing back chair, keurig coffee machine, and fridge. There is no carpet in the room! Just a couple of area rugs by the bed. I found that to be very clean and inviting. My only complaint about this and the drawback from being a perfect rating was the bed. For all the Reno's and beautiful touches in this hotel.....the beds are cheap and awful to sleep in. My coworker had a room with two queen beds and she slept in both of them thinking one may be different than the other....she found both of hers to be awful as well. She also said that the chairs in her room were uncomfortable. I have stayed in a few best westerns and this was by far the worst bed/sleep that I have ever had. The complimentary breakfast is one of the best I have had at a hotel. My suggestion would be to offer Greek yogurt along with the regular yogurt. Also, the boiled eggs could be in a crockpot and kept hot instead of cold. Otherwise, excellent breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, taters, beans, choice of grains for toast/bagels etc , yogurt, cereals, milk, juice coffee. Etc. Staff that I came in contact with were excellent. Friendly, smiling, and efficient. Please replace your beds. When you do....your hotel will be a five in my books.

The hotel was immaculate, the staff was extremely friendly and their breakfast was delicious. We liked the location, it is close to several restaurants and also to center of town. The view of the city from such a location is superb.

We stayed at this hotel to watch my nephew play hockey. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, breakfast was amazing and had so many choices and the decor was so nice. The staff was very helpful and informative. The location of the hotel was fantastic. Also, it's a short distance from the new Hockey Arena which was very nice. We definitely want to stay there again.

The hotel is on a hill above the Trans Canada Highway so it is easily found as there is an exit onto the street the hotel is on. The hotel is attractively furnished and the rooms are large. The rooms are quiet although if you are on the first or second floors you can sometimes hear people walking above you. There is fresh lemonade in the lobby and a nice pool just off the lobby. The complimentary breakfast is good with the usual eggs, breakfast meat, pastries, etc. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly, helpful and fluently bilingual. This is a very popular hotel so book early if you know you are coming here.

Stayed here on a business trip. This hotel is 10 years old and in very good condition. The rooms are very nice and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is included and the food is good and hot. Staff are very cheerful and interact with thier guests. I would highly recommend this location.

This hotel has everything you need when travelling and you feel welcome no matter when you arrive. It is always clean with a very nice decor and comfortable bed. No matter what type of room you book they are all clean and comfortable. The breakfast is amazing always fresh with a large selection of items.

I did not expect luxury, but it was an excellent value. Plenty of parking in the front and back lots, Easy access on and off the highway. Breakfast room is a bit on the smallish size but there was certainly enough to eat. Room was an excellent size and all the amenities that you could want including wifi. Would certainly stay here again

This beautiful hotel overlooks Edmundston on the hill. It is very close to all amenities. The rooms are vary spacious and comfortable, with free hot breakfast, cable tv and wifi included. The room I had, had a small kitchenette which was great as I do not like to go out and eat alone so it was a bonus.

This hotel is the best and I have stayed in some of the best that are not as nice as this . The room was very clean large room no carpet every thing was in great shape .staff are very nice and helpful they have every thing you need there great free breakfast .easy to to off the highway hospital across the St so good place to be if you have any one in there . This hotel is our favourite for travelling along Hwy 2. The hot breakfast alone is reason enough to stay here. The sausage is by far the tastiest, and the bacon is a close second. Highly recommended for this reason and of course how neat, tidy, and appealing the overall look and feel of this hotel
