Best Western Wakulla Inn & Suites

We have been staying at this hotel monthly for about 3 months now and each time we go, we see improvements. It appears they have an owner or manager that actually cares about their guests! The first time we stayed, we had a couple of small complaints and when we filled out the survey as such, we received a reply back. When we went the next month, improvements had been made and again the next. Really want to support this business as they are making notable effort to be a great hotel.

Stayed here for two nights during our thru hike of the Florida Trail. Jessica was very friendly and helpful at the front desk. She provided us with a ton of toiletries the hotel has that hikers don't normally carry. The room was clean and comfortable. They even had laundry on site. It was close to trail, but wish it was closer to more. Also wish I could have gotten rewards points for the first night I booked through a third party.

OMG! Becky! She was an absolute delight! I was staying the night for work and had to extend my stay for an additional two days. On the second night, the hotel was fully booked with normal rooms, but Becky went above and beyond to get a room to ensure I had a place to sleep that night. My work location is remote and the next nearest hotel that was company approved was over 50 miles away. On the third unexpected night, she helped me get quarters and laundry detergent, so I was able to wash my clothes. She was such a pleasure to speak to and so welcoming! You truly have a treasure there! I have stayed here several times for work, and the rooms are ALWAYS clean. The beds are comfortable, and it's always so quiet.

We've stayed here twice with two rooms each time. We have not had any concerns or complaints at all. Staff is excellent. Well maintained facilities. Very clean and welcoming. Awesome fountain and courtyard area!

Electronic door lock failed. Second time it was not repairable, but no replacement available at that time of night. Night clerk did not have access to back office where pass key was kept. We had to wait for repair person to be called in from home to gain access to our room. Door knob screws loose. Tub drain blocked.

If you book here do not stay in room 215. The people in room 216 leave their tv on loud all night long and leave it on when they leave in the morning. They are full timers. We informed the front desk upon checkout and they told us they knew about it. Multiple people have complained and they still put people in the room beside them. Very crappy service!

Very nice, comfortable and clean. Recently renovated with no carpet on the floors. Right on the bike path which was perfect for us. Staff we're super nice and welcoming. Breakfast was included and adequate. Great place to stay if you're interested in exploring this area of Florida.

Good location for through travelers, large room with comfortable bed opening to interior open walkway with view of lovely courtyard and fountain. Courtyard has a sitting area under a gazebo for relaxing. Breakfast area was clean and adequate with the usual motel offerings which were plentiful and served hot.

This place was great. Room was very clean , staff was very helpful and friendly and breakfast was very good. Check inn was easy. The rooms are newly renovated and spacious. Outdoor pool was very nice. The price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this place if staying in Wakulla

Very inviting place to stay. Never seen a layout like this one. It's built in a square. There is a court yard in the middle and all the rooms surround it. Parking is around the outside and entry is thru the front or on the ends. Room keys must be used to enter so there is an element of safety here. Good breakfast and nice people working there.

Great property that has been renovated. Clean and staff very helpful and friendly. Rocky's (large convenience store) is right on corner and convenient. There is a bike/walking/running path right in front of hotel that is really nice for an early morning run. Although no central air, the in-room air conditioning unit ran well. Recommend saying on first floor for convenience to breakfast area and gym.

Great Service, Clean rooms, Breakfast was decent for a hotel breakfast. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The property is very nice the have a gazebo and a fountain in the courtyard. Very nice. Will stay again.

Nice and clean hotel with great service! Appreciated the daily housekeeping, it was done very thoroughly. The staff at the front desk was friendly and very helpful. I felt welcome. I can highly recommend this hotel.

Room was clean quiet and comfortable. We loved the courtyard with the water fountain. Front desk clerk was kind and professional. Beds were very comfortable. The hot breakfast included eggs sausage hashbrowns and biscuits and gravy. Great value. We'll be back!

Everyone who helped us during our stay was very friendly and helpful. The staff went out of their way to make sure that the breakfast area was clean and that everything was well stocked. Very authentic Florida feel to the whole property which was appreciated.

The staff is friendly. The rooms had comfortable beds and pillows and it was clean. The location is remote and the breakfast was not very good. There is some deferred maintenance. There's a foundation in the court but it isn't running so the place felt a bit tired. Not a bad overnight stop, but nothing to make a traveler want to stop there.

Very good stay. The bed linen was a bit rough, but clean and the towels were very nice. The rooms are in very good condition and nicely decorated. Nice variety for breakfast. A bit of Noice from the room upstairs.

Stayed at this hotel many times but first time since it was renovated. Staff was friendly and helpful. New rooms are clean and comfortable, enjoyed the chair. Pool was clean and my nephew enjoyed it very much. Breakfast is always good, a nice selection of hot and cold options. Make your own waffles is always fun. Will go back again.

Not bad, not good. In room coffee setup doesn't work, pod tray is incompatible with brewer. Remote control for TV is confusing and very user unfriendly. Trying to get breakfast when on a schedule is difficult when you have to wait for the desk crew and associated employees to get theirs in front of you. The pool was wet and the beds were soft. A/C was sufficient. Not many choices in Crawfordville so take what you get.

Renovations are wonderfully done. Clean, comfortable room. Great service. We came down to the beach for the day but got rained out and decided to stay the night and try again the next day. Love the area.

On March 23rd 2022 I made a reservation with a sweet girl named Jessica. She promised to send me the confirmation number on my email but you never did. So I called them March 26th to find out why. My first call was at 8:30 a.m. in the morning and I kept calling and calling and I thought it was strange that nobody was answering. And I could turn you this every hour on the hour 5 times an hour nobody answering the phone. By 4:30 I'm in the dentist office I try one last time I couldn't believe it I was in shock somebody actually answer the phone amazing. By this time I was Furious. My days are very busy. I wanted a manager quickly tell him or her the story and move on. I don't stay at a Best Western I've heard so many bad things. So I decided to give these guys a chance cuz I thought they were the only hotel in the area. I found out that was a mistake I will never say the Best Western ever I don't care where it is. I can see why they have so many problems. They're probably not run by the stable individuals. When he refused to get me a manager I got really upset I kept calling until I got one when I got one I tried to tell her why I was upset she never gave me a chance. She said she wanted to hear it why I was upset but every time I try to tell her she would cut me off. I said look you want me to tell you the problem but you're not giving me the opportunity. So she said okay in a sarcastic and condescending patronizing way I'm listening. What I thought she was listening she wasn't she was chattering and moving papers in the background. This infuriated me so. I can't call you back pursuing her to listen to the problem. She claimed to be the general manager which I thought was a lie anyway. She didn't call the police and I said okay maybe he'll listen he could care less just like she could. You want to have the ironic thing the owner calls me back later that day it tells me to call her back and tell her what the situation was. I am not calling her back I could care less about talking to any of them they are rude they are arrogant they are condescending and patronizing and very nasty. I was completely disappointed I figured it a small town and they be a little bit nicer and courteous. Now I know why Best Western has a bad reputation. Like I said I've stayed in better places and I've never been treated this way. To me Best Western is like a Motel 6 or a motel 8. They don't have the right people running this business or is completely disappointed and discouraged I had my whole weekend planned. So I recommend you don't go through the trouble you don't waste your time staying at this Best Western in Wakulla Florida.

nice fountain in courtyard but empty and pieces broken, asked for walkin shower, only had one and it was reserved for my second night there so did not get it, desk personnel not real knowledgable about area

Go to hotel when birding St. Mark's. Stay here every time. Has improve over the years. Great location to access all the birding spots like Bottoms Road, Otter Lake, the Lighthouse Road, Bald Point and Wakulla Springs

There's nothing negative to say about this location. The large room was quiet and very clean with a king size bed and small sofa. There was no carpet and my feet did not get dirty walking barefooted on the vinyl plank floor. The shower was acceptable, not strong but got the job done. The bathroom was spotless and towels were soft. There's a courtyard with seating, the fountain was not working. Breakfast was good with many choices. The woman maintaining it kept it filled with biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausages. There were packets of oatmeal, grits, teas, hot chocolate. A variety of breads, fresh fruit and fruit cups were available.

If you stay at this hotel make sure you ask for Tammy. She's so sweet, kind and will go out of her way to help you. You will love her great personality and her attitude. So please when you stay ask for her.

I checked out on Sunday 3/6 from room 121. I was charged $250 incorrectly. I called your property & have spoke to multiple people stating it was for smoking in the room. I don' know what I have to do to prove to you you are wrong. I have never smoked a day in my life. I can have family reach out, my boss at my TWO full time jobs that will say I have never smoked in the 11 years I have worked there. I can submit doctor paperwork or whatever you need. However, I need my money back as I DO NOT AND HAVE NOT SMOKED IN MY 30 YEARS OF LIFE!! Trying to get in contact with a manager has been a nightmare.

They charged me $250 for smoking in the room when I have never smoked a day in my life. It's disgusting & I can't tolerate the smell. Which is not only ignorant but embarrassing to say the least. Now I'm sitting here trying to talk to someone and they tell me the manager will have to call me back but who knows when that will be. My friend & I came to Florida went to the beach, the springs, & a plant nursery. Doesn't exactly scream rebels smoking in a hotel to me. I want my money back for this wrongful charge. I will drive the 12 hours back just so y'all can smell my car or do whatever I have to do to prove I don't smoke. But you will be paying for missed work, car maintenance, and gas. I have worked in a hotel 10+ years. I can have my boss call, my parents, literally anybody will tell you I don't smoke.

Very quiet. Large spacious room with comfortable beds. Liked that entry was from inside. Surprised by the outdoor courtyard found inside the hotel complete with tables, chairs and a fountain. Close to the Gulf of Mexico.

Our stay was terrible, there were non stop dogs barking all night from 8:30-9pm until 6am, there were people parting in the parking lot area until 2am with a bon fire drinking and shooting fireworks off. Then saturday night during the major rain event the party migrated to the pavilion area and the people that were partying were constantly up and down the stairs yelling and screaming… management did nothing to stop them. The worst part was the rooms were advertised at 84 a night but when i got there i was charged 165 a night which is more then i paid to stay in down town Disney and had a horrendous experience in such a small town like Crawfordville.

I made this reservation on 1/11/2022. In fine print, it says if booking is not canceled by 12/18/21, you pay 1 night. Look at the date! I tried calling the hotel and telling them a family member was in the hospital and tried canceling. Even though 4 days out, I was told to have Expedia call. Expedia called and my request was denied and I was charged 1 night stay plus tax, $94.09. This is shameful and even though I will make many trips to Crawfordville, I will NOT stay here and tell everyone about it including reporting to Better Business Bureau.

This hotel is substantially remodeled the work hasn't been totally completed but the quality of the work is great there is a courtyard with a large gazebo as well as a water fountain with dolphins. This is a quiet location for a relaxing weekend getaway

This hotel has clean, comfortable rooms and a very good staff. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice with a very good shower - always important to us! It has recently been renovated. The breakfast was good and the area clean and well kept.

Hotel practically looks brand new as they have recently renovated. The staff were friendly. I expect we will return again when visiting the area. There are lots of fun things to do like paddle the Wakulla, see the coast, eat seafood.

Sigh. I would suggest staying some place else. I did not actually stay here but ended up sleeping in my truck on my visit to this location. I went to use my Best Western points upon check in but was told my points had to be "pre-approved" ahead of time through a third party (Best Western Rewards). Inside I'm told a room is available. Upon calling the reward desk, I'm told no, no rooms are available. Dispute back and forth between the rewards staffer and the hotel assistant who has to continually refer back to someone else with authority as to what the "policy" on points is. Eventually it is decided that to use my points, I must book two consecutive nights?! Not needing two nights, I eventually then walked out of the lobby area to retalk with the rewards staffer. I don't remember her name but she was good and patient and let me vent to her about the situation. Tired at that point, I opted to sleep in my truck.

The staff at this Inn, including Tieara, Trish, Heather, Mowesha, Tomeka, and Devon, went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. I would stay again and highly recommend the Best Western Wakulla Inn &Suites.

I was pleasantly surprised by the property given the location. They said it was recently renovated or in the process of. The rooms were clean and smelled nice. Pity more restaurants aren't close by for dinner. Breakfast included warm options, eggs, sausage, waffles. Not the usual continental of just muffins and donuts elsewhere.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Nice, large renovated rooms and very friendly staff. It was the perfect location for everything we wanted to see in and around the Tallahassee area. There was a nice breakfast set out and the coffee was great.

For several years my wife and I travel to and from Florida many times a year and have stayed at many hotels during our journeys. We would be hard-pressed to recall a better place. Check in was extremely smooth and GM Atul as professional, knowledgeable, and nice as you can get! On our return trip we stayed another two nights and had the great pleasure of being processed by Rose and Devon, two consummate professionals. These two were also so friendly we didn't want to leave. Rose even recommended a place where my wife could have her nails done and this too turned out nice. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The prices were right. Breakfast was varied, tasty, and ample and the coffee very flavorful. We will definitely be back. (We just hope more people don't discover this place as we'll never get a room!)

We come and stay at this hotel twice a year to visit our family in Crawfordville! We love it here! Everyone who works at the hotel is super nice! They are remodeling and it's going to be great! Even through a remodel we still were accommodated with everything we needed!

We were put in a handicap room that we did not request or require. First evening we were there, an electrical issue in our bathroom, second day there, after our arrival from our Saturday outing, our room had not been visited, cleaned or replenished by housekeeping. The floors and walls at this hotel must be reinforced cardboard, we could hear everything going on in the rooms above and next door to us. Saturday night, starting around 10-10:30, apparently the Championship Gymnastics team decided to practice their floor routine, and after 3 calls to the Front Desk, and two empty promises to address the noise issue, the “tumbling” finally stopped somewhere after midnight. Sunday morning, Front Desk was understaffed at 8:00am, and was out of bags for the “Grab & Go Breakfast”.

This hotel is being remodeled & was great when we stayed here and is only going to get better. The staff was kind & attentive to us --including covid precautions. Close to The St Marks bike trail & excellent restaurants. We would stay here again.

Conveniently located on Hwy 98. We stayed while boating at Shields Marina, about 15 minutes away. Room was clean and recently renovated with pleasing décor. Staff were friendly and responsive. Great value. I definitely recommend this motel.

This place is somewhat hidden from the road. The BW sign is not high enough to be seen from the road. There is no entrance sign signifying this is the entrance. They are under remodeling. Hopefully they will add entrance signs.

Everything was great, the new renovations are beautiful, the only minor complaint would be that the beds were not as comfortable as they could of been. Still a decent nights' sleep but the king size bed was not the greatest. The bath tubs are great, very big. The jet tub worked well. Would most definitely stay again! Great staff as well, all were very helpful and kind.

definitely not worth the price at all. The room was clean as they are remodeling and it appeared we had a newer room but the beds and pillows are still terrible. They appear to have redone everything except what really matters which is the bed and comfortability. The advertise a free breakfast which is far from a breakfast. The juice machine was water only, the coffee was watered down as you could see right thru it not too mention how horrible it tasted. They offer a sausage egg biscuit and a few very few sample size danishes. You have to wait for someone at the front desk to get the items for you as they have them behind the desk. It was quiet so noise was not an issue, the air unit worked but it made really weird sounds off and on that sounded like it was falling apart. I would not recommend this hotel at this time with the remodel and lack of updating the beds for the price. If the price was half or so I would not have complained as it would be expected but they are taking advantage of people as there are only 2 hotels in the area. I haven't checked out the other hotel but will definitely next time we are coming thru.

Our King Suite was still a work in progress. The new flooring was complete but not the light fixtures and refrigerator. Good thing I had my cooler to keep my drinks on ice. This hotel is CoVid conscientious

This hotel has seen better days and is sorely in need of a facelift on not only the building but also the room features and furniture. There were strange noises all night, between the loud HVAC unit and unknown noises from outside the room. I usually expect better from BW and was disappomted with this property. The onl6. Right spot was the friendly staff.

This appears to b an older hotel but has been redone nicely . Love the courtyard with fountain and gazebo . Staff was friendly and accommodating. Beds were comfy and room was clean and nice . Will b back on r return trip .

When we first entered the parking lot -- from the OTHER direction as the property is set back a bit and we were driving too fast -- one of our party said, "Are you sure? Why are the windows all boarded up?" Well, yes, I was sure, it's just that this was kind of the offseason and the hotel was being renovated. Once we got inside, we were very, VERY pleased with MY choice. Yet another Best Western lived up to expectations. The counter staffers, every one of them, were very helpful and courteous and when we asked for one night of turn down (because we spent the entire week there), they accommodated us. The room was clean, the courtyard was beautiful and relaxing for reading or whatever (even at night), but we wish the dolphin fountain had been functional. Again, though, this we the week after Christmas. The microwave, the mini-fridge and the coffee maker all were appreciated. We especially appreciated the proximity to the Gulf and to Wakulla Springs State Park. Having Rocky's just down the road was also convenient. And it was less than a 10-minute drive INTO Crawfordville. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Myra Jean's Restaurant for lunch. And make sure you get some of their ice cream!!

Have stayed here at least 6 times in a 17 yr time span and have seen a total decline in this hotels facilities. Everything needs replacement and updating . I question the ownersl motivations to improve.

Seemed like a nice place from the start with the courtyard. As soon as I opened the door, massive sized stains are all over the floor. The sitting chair was so soiled that it should have been taken out to clean or thrown away. That floor seriously needed deep cleaning. It grossed me out so much I immediately left and was refunded. It has potential but cleanliness is key!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-Really enjoyed my stay! -hotel is tucked away from the road and surrounded by woods. -all room doors open through the central protected courtyard. -the sound of the large water fountain in the courtyard did not bother me. If anything, it was a noise buffer. -no restaurants/stores close by (10mins north you will find mcdonald's and 7-11 type places). -room was decorated nice and was very clean -typical hotel breakfast (coffee, juice, cereal, waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits) ****good size bathtub with jacuzzi jets**** -would easily stay here again.

This was a very nice hotel. Trish checked us in on a Friday night, and Atul Patel, the General Manager, checked us out Saturday morning. They, and a couple of other staff, were friendly and helpful. Since this was during CoVid, masks were required. The dining area was closed, but coffee was available. We had a room on the first floor, facing a beautiful courtyard. The window overlooked the parking lot, which had many parking spots. The room was big, and well lit. In addition to bedside wall lamps, a lamp was on a table by the sleeper sofa and easy chair. We also had an office chair, and high backed chair. When we walked into the room, we turned on the ceiling light. During the night, when we made our nightly trips to the bathroom (with necessary amenities of soaps, make up remover, lotion and conditioner), we were thankful for the orange light on the blow dryer. We used the medium sized fridge, but did not make the coffee that was provided. We did not need the microwave, but we were glad it was there - just in case. We used the clock radio and flat screen TV, which had excellent reception. The wifi was also good. We did not use the fitness room or pool, and both looked very nice. Since the dining area was closed, In the morning we were offered “breakfast to go” - which was good. I chose an orange & the box of frosted mini wheats. I could have had Frosted Flakes or two other boxed cereals. We were offered other items, including granola bars, but I can't remember them all. Husband had two of the breakfast burritos (excellent - eggs, sausage & peppers in burrito), and we each had juice (3 kinds to choose from). Juices were next to the cooler containing yogurts and milk cartons. A note nearby asked us to use a napkin for all handles and knobs to remain sanitary. For a quick breakfast, it was good and filling. We ate comfortably in our room. Atul offered tissues to us when we checked out. He apologized when we told him that we had none in our room. We used some we'd brought with us. He also offered more breakfast items or burritos for the road, but we were full. We will definitely stay here when we return to this part of FL.

staff was wonderful, the room was awesome, clean and everything in working order. Outside appearance very disappointing. Lack of exterior trashcans. the flowerbeds and landscaping very much in need of attention. If this was our first time at this location we might not have stayed because of initial appearance.

This is a nice place to stay that is kind of off the beaten path with lots to do within a short distance. It's right on Hwy 98. Very personable staff that go above and beyond to make your visit nice. The rooms all face out to an inter courtyard with a gazebo. Prices are reasonable.

We stayed three nights mid march at this hotel and we enjoyed it. The rooms are spacious and clean, there is enough room to stock your luggage. Breakfast was great, service of the staff was great and there are enough options at the buffet. The hotel has a nice courtyard were you can relax a bit and there is also a small swimming pool at the back of the hotel. The only negative point are the thin walls, you can hear approximately everything in the adjacent rooms, but this seems to be a problem in almost all hotels in florida.

The staff went above and beyond we had an early/ late check in 5am and Tamanee made us feel so welcome along with others were met later and stayed an extra day the pool was bright and inviting the courtyard a private dream

Excellent Hotel, staff was great and very professional, but personal! Breakfast had a lot of choices and all food was hot. Plenty available for all guests. Rooms were quiet and clean, no issues at all during the stay.

This Best Western is spotlessly clean, well kept, and comfortable. Now I wonder why all Best Western cannot be as well taken care of. The price for our king suite came to just under $110 including all taxes and fees. The breakfast was presented well and the food fresh and hot. All areas of the hotel were clean, in great shape and decorated nicely. I was impressed that there was a maintenance slip to fill out in case we should find something that needed repair. We didn't. The rooms are built around a beautiful courtyard with a fountain that provided the relaxing sound of water. There is a gazebo with seating in it should you want to sit out in the courtyard. I really want to commend the owners and staff for making and keeping the hotel in great shape. Everyone of the staff we came in contact with there was professional, courteous, helpful and good humored. It was a delight staying at The Best Western Wakulla Inn and Suites. Thank you!

We chose this hotel for four nights as we were hiking and also wanted to go to Tallahassee for the gardens. At first glance, you wonder why you chose this location, since it seems just at a highway juncture, but is it perfect for everything we wanted to do and places to eat. It was very quiet, but they do have a fountain that runs a bit in the courtyard. The courtyard would be great in warmer weather. The "but..." part is at check in, the desk person, somewhat laughing said, "you are in room 202, and we are full. There is a high school wrestling tournament and they have a bunch of rooms." OK then. And "I don't know where they are " (either lazy or lying), "but here is your room". I asked if I should call the desk if the party was close to our room. Laughing again, "Well they are going to do something!". When I asked if it was only that night, she found this particularity funny and really laughing said, "well you can sleep the next night!" OK, so we are paying full rate and it is funny that we can't sleep. Way to get the guests upset at check in. Nice and professional, not. The rest of the desk staff sort of understood, but, didn't quite get things either. It happened that we had a very quiet night, but the attitude should make you think twice.

Need more furniture like comfortable chair or couch. Clean. Comfortable bed. We always stay at Best Western when we can and have never been disappointed. Coffee in the lobby 24 hours is nice touch. Will continue to stay at BW when I can.

I have been staying at this hotel since it opened, once or twice a year. It is well maintained, clean, with excellent service. Nice little buffet bfast. Sit around the fountain in the courtyard and relax!

This was a simple overnight stay to visit family. the room and hotel appeared to be clean. This was a no thrills stay. Room security - both door lock and window could certainly be more strengthened. The breakfast was of decent quality.

We stayed overnight at this hotel on our way to Tampa, FL. After staying at other Best Western Hotels this one was not what I was expecting. The floors had stains on them. The bed comforter also had stains on it. The room was too dark. Needs better lighting. For the price, it just wasn't good value.

By looking at the outside u would never know what wonders were on the inside. Clean and fresh smelling rooms. Friendly staff and a fabulous breakfast. The pool was clean and well maintained. We visited friends who live in the area and everyone who visited fell in love with the place and planned to rent rooms.

We were pleasantly surprised to find this hotel to be new and clean with exceptional staff. The grounds were maintained nicely and our room had a privacy fence outside so we could have our window curtains open all day. Best choice when staying in Wakulla.

Would recommend. Thre are only 2 DECENT places to lodge in the immediate area. This One of the TWO best. This one just happens to be a bit closer to where I needed to spend my time. Hotel is a Good Value.

We stayed for three nights at this hotel as we were visiting St. Marks Wildlife Refuge.. It is an older property and it shows. The room we stayed in, a king bed suite, needs renovation. The a/c is old and noisy, so noisy in fact that our sleep was disturbed by the a/cs in other rooms going on and off all night - really loud. On arrival we were greeted politely but not really a friendly greeting. We were given no information about breakfast times etc. although later we saw this information was posted on the wall in the breakfast area. The beds were old and a little lumpy, the stool, chairs and carpet were stained and all dark dingy colours.The room was gloomy. The breakfast was typical of this type of hotel but very limited and not very good quality.. The Best Western website states that this hotel has a Manager's reception 5.30 to 7 pm. We have had this at other properties. However this did NOT happen at this hotel and the staff had never heard of such a thing. We were not impressed with this hotel.

Our room was on the first floor and all the rooms are situated in a square where you can look down onto a courtyard which has a fountain in the centre - all very attractive, but all that could be heard was rushing water all night. If you can ignore the noise, fine, but initially I got out of bed to check to see if the toilet was flushing correctly.

We stayed in Crawfordville, Fl to attend the relighting ceremony of the the St Mark's lighthouse south of Tallahassee. I chose this hotel because of it's close proximity to the lighthouse and the fact we were going on the Apalachicola for the seafood festival the next day. The hotel, the staff and the location were great. My only complaint was the beding. The beds need to be recycled. When you sit down you feel the wire framing against your legs and the padded topping is almost gone. I slept okay, but my arthrtic body complained the next day. The room was very clean, but the carpet could use a good shampooing, or replacement. I will definitily stay here again should the need arise.

What a cute courtyard style hotel this is! the rooms are nice and clean. The staff is friendly and beyond helpful. I would definitely stay at this location again. We originally were going to stay at a competitor down the road. But they had freshly painted and the rooms smelled of paint so badly we couldn't stay. Which was a good thing too because Best Western was by far the better hotel in so many ways. So, if ya'll stop in Crawfordville or the surrounding area. Stay at Best Western. Tell Rose I sent you!

My room was very comfortable and fairly roomy. The aren't any restaurants within walking distance but a staff member gave me a ride to get some takeout. Very nice. There is a small courtyard in the middle of the hotel with a nice fountain, although the fountain could have used a little more water. They offered the standard breakfast although the room was a little small.

The BW is in a great location to the state park and wildlife preserve. Also, it is close to the water for fishing, and nearby restaurants and shops. The outside hotel as well as lobby appearance is very nice. The front desk staff as well as housekeeping are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and eager to recommend places to eat and things to see. We stayed in the king suite with jacuzzi on bottom floor. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. The water pressure and temperature were very good. The jacuzzi tub worked as expected. We liked having the micro/fridge in the room, and the hairdryer is nice to have so you don't have to pack your own. The only reason for taking a star off is that the pool was not clean. I have a pool at home and know when you clean it, an hour later you may have leaves or a bug floating in it, but the pool had a lot of settling on the bottom and several things floating on top. Also, it looked as if it could use a scrub or two. Other than the pool, our stay was great and would stay here again. One recommendation would be to put a couple extra washcloths in the room. In the Florida heat it is usually a common practice to take a couple showers a day, and although I always reuse my towels, I prefer to have a clean washcloth each time. One note, I did not call the front desk for an extra. As nice as they were, I'm sure they would have accommodated us. It just would have been nice to have the extras in the room.

We stayed here on Aug 12th and needed an early check-in in order to make it to my daughter's wedding. I was told to call an hour before arrival and they would try to accommodate us. I did that and the representative on the phone was very friendly and accommodating as was the one who took my reservation earlier. However, upon our arrival, the desk clerk was clearly annoyed that we were checking in early and treated us with a frosty attitude. I thanked her profusely for allowing the early check-in and got no reply. Now the rest of the stay was great. Room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was good. I would recommend this hotel strongly. I will give the desk clerk the benefit of the doubt that she was just having a bad day. I will still award 5 out of 5 because of the great stay.

I spend every other weekend with my son and since I live 6+ hours away, we usually we spend it here. The rooms are always clean and the staff and owner here are always friendly and helpful. The courtyard is beautiful and well maintained with the dolphin fountain and the pavilion. My son loves it here and I do too. Every visit with him is special thanks to the staff from great housekeeping to great service at the front desk. I always feel so welcome. It's literally like a second home to me.

As most Best Western hotels this one also delivers the Best Western quality we are used to. Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. And a good breakfast in the morning to start our day. When in the area again we will definitely be back.

Stayed for one night while traveling the panhandle of Florida. Nice hotel, friendly staff, awesome breakfast. Would give it a 5 except for odd parking lot layout - all parking is in front or on the right side of the hotel which is fine if your room is in front or on the right side. Our room was in the back on the left side which meant carrying luggage, laptop, cooler, etc about as far as possible. Strange layout! Breakfast was great though - one of the pimary reasons we stay at BW.

We travelled in this area during Labor Day weekend and stumbled upon this gem. Check in was easy and staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Room was nice and clean with all the extras. Breakfast was great!! Highly recommend.

We (family of 4) stopped for a night on our way up the Panhandle, stayed in room 212, at the back of the hotel, near the workout room and looking over the small pool. All the rooms are arranged around a pleasant Mediterranean-style courtyard. Room was clean and spacious. Self parking was plentiful, free and convenient. Check in was easy and friendly. From the room, above the rather noisy air conditioning, we only heard the water in the fountain in the courtyard and the amazing chirpiness of crickets and cicadas in the trees around the hotel! There are not many local dinner options but we drove 5 minutes to Hamaknockers BBQ which was great but they close early (go before 8pm). The hotel breakfast was good and generous help yourself, a good range of hot food, fruit, waffle, yoghurts, pastries, cereals etc. There are not many tables in the aircon dining room given the size of hotel, so we sat outside in the shady courtyard which even in the July heat was pleasant enough for half an hour or so. The hotel location is excellent for Wakulla Springs State Park, about 10-15 mins drive, and for the cool Rusty Trucks by the side of Highway 319, which are just five minutes drive if you want to see them. I found it a bit inconvenient for the pool not to be usable before 9am which kind of rules out a morning swim before breakfast, which was a shame. Overall the hotel is a good location/quality/price combination. A good, comfortable and friendly stopping off point for local attractions or if in the area.

This place is super cute. There is a bike trail right outside the door if you are looking for some exercise. Great free breakfast. Great Rooms. Cute layout with courtyard. The pool is a little small and no jacuzzi. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is in a quiet area and the sleep quality is great. The check-in and check-out were quick and precise. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant and cheerful. Our room on the second floor was extra large and comfortable. The room had a writing desk plus a couple of comfortable chairs and a table in-between. Also, two night stands, on either side of the king bed, had lights that were perfect for reading. A fridge, microwave and coffee maker were also provided. The A/C worked perfectly and was easily adjustable for individual comfort. All rooms look out onto a very nicely landscaped courtyard. A main attraction of the courtyard is a pagoda-like structure with tables and chairs.... very relaxing. Breakfast was pretty good with a very nice assortment to help get your morning started. Overall, we were impressed withb the quality of the hotel and would stay here again

Clean hotel. Like new. Nice staff. The area is not too busy when we were there. We were about an hour to the beaches. There were places to eat close by and a huge gas station. I do think the amount for the evening was too expensive.

Excellent Staff...fast check in and check out... Very friendly and caring front desk staff. Enjoyed the breakfast too.. Room was clean and loved the jetted tub! We would recommend this hotel to eveveryone. Great location .....quiet and peaceful...only thing missing is a swimming pool.

Friendly hotel with big comfortable rooms. I find that environmental issues should be a priority at Best Western being a big chain of hotels. Please think green at all your hotels. After my stay I will check with future hotels that I will stay with whether they are environmentally conscious.

The room was nice. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean. Breakfast was good. The staff was nice and was helpful. The location is good--it is close to Crawfordville and also close to beaches.

Really the only decent hotel in the Crawfordville area, but this location is just fine. This hotel has all the amenities you need, but at a reasonable price. Clean, and well kept up. Staff was very helpful.

This has been the most up to date and modern hotel I've stayed in for the great price. Very clean, well supplied and comfortable. Staff were very professional and helpful. Would recommend if visiting the area.

This hotel is remote, but very nice up to date building and room with a very comfortable bed. Enjoyed the fitness center because it has actual free weights ranging from 5 to 50 lbs. and a Bodycraft cable crossover unit. Makes for a great workout.

The night clerk insisted on having a dispicable network displaying on the lobby tv. When I asked her to change it, she stated to me that it is the policy of Best Western and their instructions that this awful channel be on at all times.

This Best Western is a little gem, quiet location just up the street from the school , on the St Marks trail extension, great way to leave MOTEL headed to Alachua on bicycle on modified Southern Tier, rooms open to courtyard, with water fountain, nice staff, breakfast pretty good.

Most friendly folks and a great deal! Room was clean, jacuzzi tub heck yes!! Grounds well maintained. The courtyard was beautiful. All employees superb! Wish our scheduled could have allowed extended stay!

We were road-trippimg along the Gulf from a Lakeland spring training game to Mobile. The Big Bend area is pretty unpopulated and we weren't expecting luxury. We didn't find luxiry, bit we did find a comfortable amd clean place. The woman at check in was friendly and provided good information on local places to eat. The room was large and quiet. Good place to stay!

Very nice hotel. Courtyard is beautiful. Too bad fountain wasn't on - it's really cool. There is a pavilion outside to sit and enjoy breakfast or just visit with family or friends. The rooms open out to the courtyard - nice. We stayed in 124A (king bed) It was clean, quiet, had a refrigerator, sofa, chair. We got a break on the price for an extended stay which really helped us decide to stay there. The staff was very nice & helpful when we decided to stay an extra day. Breakfast is typical hotel style, but we found lots of fresh fruit (as vegans that's all we usually find). St. Marks is just down the road - maybe 10 or 15 mins. We were able to see the flamingo that is hanging out there as well as a red cockaded woodpecker and a vermillion flycatcher - awesome!

In the midst of Florida hassle and bustle - This B/W motel is in a quiet location away from surrounding noise and trafffic and yet still close to great eating places. The inner court yard area is a very nice garden for deep relaxing. Again in the midst of busy tourism-a place to relax and rejuvenate ones self.

A really nice place to stay, large room with everything you expect for $100 hotel. The breakfast was excellent, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, Belgium waffles, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, toast, bagels, muffins, way above average. I highly recommend it.

This hotel is quiet, large enough for all the extras, but not too large to be too busy. We loved our spacious King mini suite, would love to book it for next spring! The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, friendly, too. Love having a full breakfast before going on adventures each day. Very nice!

Always happy to stay here. Had a nice king mini-suite, very roomy, clean, quiet..Only problem was that some guests smoked right outside their rooms, so that you had to walk through the smoke to go to the lobby. I mentioned it in a survey for BW though, and was impressed to receive a response from the manager that they are trying to identify a space where smokers can go without disturbing others. Breakfast was very good, staff friendly and helpful. Always a favorite of ours....

My husband and I flew to Tallahassee and rented a car to drive to Panama City. We planned to take a longer route to P.C. so we could explore the area of Wakulla Springs, St. Marks Wildlife Preserve and Apalachicola. The Best Western in Crawford seemed like a good starting point. It was only 30 minutes from the airport. I was quite pleasantly surprised at the property when we arrived. It provided a very quaint setting with a lovely courtyard . Our bedroom was quite large with a King Size bed and right off the courtyard. Everything about this Best Western was very appealing. The staff were lovely and cordial. Our room provided plenty of space and the room was immaculate. It also had a microwave. The free breakfast was very ample and impressive. I found no fault whatsoever with this hotel, except for the beds and pillows which seemed dated. The mattress was saggy and the pillows were lumpy. However, the manager told me that this problem is being resolved because they are getting all new mattresses and pillows. If this is the case, then once the update is completed I would give this property a 10.

There are not a lot of hotels in this area of Florida, especially if you are visiting the St. Marks Wildlife Refuge. This is about a quick 15 minutes west and as it is reasonably priced, seemed like a good bet for an overnight stay in between the bird watching. We were pleasantly surprised - a large room, frig and microwave, nice Argan oil soaps, etc. in the bathroom, comfortable beds, and a hot breakfast with omelets. Very pleasant staff at the front desk. The open center courtyard is nice.

A nice hotel, A bit off the beaten path, but close to all amenities. Friendly staff, clean rooms, fresh coffee always. This place is a Great value for the business traveler and short stays for those passing through.

Rooms are better than the outside corridors. Elevator is good for second floor access and several staircases. Courtyard in center is secured by locked doors. We parked in front and entered through the lobby. Had a great sleep the night we were there. Comfortable room, couch, easy chair, desk, refrig, microwave, wi-fi, etc. Breakfast had good selection included. Bacon, Spanish omelet, breads, toast, waffles, pancakes, several juices, coffee, milk, cereal, cheese, fruit, bagels, yogurt.

This hotel was very clean, friendly staff, good breakfast selections. I do not consider this to be negative in any way but maybe a sign that lights up closer to the road. It is very dark and easy to pass up if you are not familiar with the area.

We come to this area from the Uk most years.usually staying at a different hotel, thought we would give this one a try. Rooms face onto a courtyard, which is very nice in January so it must be lovely in warmer months. Rooms nicely decorated, spotlessly clean.Staff very friendly Breakfast was good a couple of hot items, fruit, waffles etc Value for money fantastic

Emily at the front desk was nice, pleasant and very helpful. The manager (Minesh) went out of his way to help us and was very nice and pleasant. Our room was comfortable, clean and this is a nice little getaway.

This was a last minute reservation and it was pretty decent. The decoration and furniture is out dated, but the location, scenery and staff make up for it! The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Break this included with stay and it was excellent! If I am in town whether business or pleasure I would stay here.

Nice for the area, nice for the price. Convenient to state parks and right off the main road. Good breakfast and pleasant staff. WiFi worked great and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Would recommend if you are in the area.

The infrastructure in the hotel is in bad shape. The fountain in the courtyard is inoperable. The fitness center is tiny (the size of a large closet). They have a problem with water pressure. The breakfast is not well presented (Waffle system not working, dirty etc). The staff was very nice and helpful however.

I have stayed her 2 times...Both times it was very pleasant and very helpful workers...When other motels were trying to rob people because of the hurricane...these people remained reasonable..this says a lot to me...Thanks...

The hotel is a ~45 min drive to Tallahassee with not too much around it, but it is a good hotel. Nice courtyard area with a gazebo, and the rooms were nice & clean. The pool area isn't that big, but still well-kept. The fitness area was very small, but there is a nice, paved walking trail that is in-front of the hotel if you're looking to run. The continental breakfast wasn't anything too elaborate but did the job. The staff was friendly, and overall, it's a good hotel depending how far of a drive it is for what you are looking to do. It is close to the gulf, but we didn't visit. Although it looked like the more popular, tourist friendly beaches are still a decent drive away. Ubers were very hard to get en-route to Tallahassee. The hotel has really lost a lot of quality in the past few years. It isn't being well maintained and the courtyard which used to be lovely is no longer a nice spot to sit. The fountain was broken, the courtyard was just shabby and no landscaping. Rooms were clean but need updating. Breakfast however was a joke. They were out of eggs, the orange juice was brown and they had a minimal selection of choices (especially seeing as how they ran out of eggs and weren't making more with an hour to go still on breakfast). Used to put crews here a lot in the past but I'm disappointed in the current status of the hotel.

There are Many restaurants in the area plus convenient to shopping. The location is close enough to the Gulf of Mexico for a short drive.Close to this Hotel is also a 18 hole golf course, which I enjoyed playing.The rates for Hotel are Very Reasonable.

This place was fantastic and so convenient to our destination of going along the coastal route to see lighthouses. Atoul at the front desk was very accommodating and the room was beautiful, clean and fresh. Great alternative to staying in the big city of Tallahassee.

Very nice but older hotel. Away from the hustle and bustle of Tallahassee but very easy to commute to. The staff was very wonderful and friendly and very helpful. Checkin and checkout was booth quick and easy. I called several minutes ahead of arrival and asked if we could check in before the noted checkin time and the attendant approved it. Upon our arrival we were greeted by Layla and she said our room was ready and she upgraded our room to a suite. WONDERFUL!!!

I love staying at this hotel. I stayed here in April and this past weekend. I love that they serve more than your usual continental breakfast. The staff are super friendly and extremely helpful. Previous commenters have talked about the smoking. It is not a smoke free facility. The rooms are smoke free. Others talked about how run down it looks. I did not find this to be true on either of my stays. In one room, the carpet did have stains, but they were clean. The fountain did not work, but that did not take away from how nice the courtyard is. I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the years and this one is by far the best! Well worth the price they charge. The great breakfast, the nice rooms, the beautiful courtyard and the staff make this place priceless.

My mother and I spent 2 nights here and were so pleasantly surprised at the style, decor, cleanliness, and amenities of this hotel located in such a rural area. The staff was always friendly and the continental breakfast offered hot options and teas which was nice. Clean and well maintained courtyard area and lovely landscaping and flowers. We have talked about coming back here each year to make it an annual getaway destination. Beds were so comfortable and the bathroom tub was spacious. There was a refrigerator and microwave in our room, both of which were very clean. Cute restaurants are in the area that serve local favorites in seafood and bbq.

We recently stayed at your Crawfordville Florida hotel. It is sad that the hotel has the potential to be nice and pleasant. The lobby and breakfast area are dark and depressing. Hallways are dirty. There's a courtyard that could be nice. It has a no working dolphin water fountain and a nice gazebo. But it needs paint in area and lighting. The area is depressing. The rooms are ok but dated. The carpet in our room was filthy and stained. My children's stockings were black in minutes and they had to be thrown in garbage. The beds were acceptable. But bedding could use upgrade. Sheets with blanket between were heavy. One of the beds lacked pillows and had to ask twice hours apart for pillows. They do not provide pool tools and were told to use room towels but then had no bath towels. When asked for more towels were told they did not have any. We had no tissues in room and even though box was placed on counter, never replaced (minor). The shower had bath soap, shampoo and conditioner decanters but they were empty entire stay. I even removed empty tanks and placed on counter, the tanks were placed back in unit empty!!!! Poor customer service. Breakfast was awful to put it politely. Cold eggs and stale English muffins and bagels. The little muffins were almost edible but the little frosted (I think ) cinnamon rolls were soggy and mushy obviously frozen. There small round chocolate rocks, not sure what they were. Same ones there for days. There was no yogurt and asked about 7:45 if they had any and was told it was frozen and she could pull and put in hot water. At 9:00 checked back still none so asked and was told same story. Pretty sad either improve or forget. Witnessed most people throwing plates of food away. Bottom line this particular hotel is a disgrace to your Best Western name. A good customer! My wife and I stayed here while looking for a house to buy and so glad we did. The staff was really nice and took very good care of us. The breakfast was great ( loved the biscuits and gravy) and the room was large and very comfortable.

We just stayed overnight. The room was very nice, clean, comfortable bed. My only complaints are: the shower head was terrible (no matter how it was adjusted it felt like needles pelting us) and the breakfast was a bit less than satisfying.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel while taking a road trip along the Florida Panhandle. Pros: Staff member, Layla, who checked us in was quite pleasant and helpful. Our room was comfortable and very spacious. Continental breakfast was impressive to me, mainly because of the gluten-free offerings, i.e. pancakes, granola and oatmeal, in addition to very pleasant and helpful staff preparing breakfast offerings. There is a nice courtyard, surrounded by the guest rooms, which was nice for eating breakfast or lounging, although the fountain was out of commission. Cons: The hotel is more than ready for a refurbishing, as the carpet in our room had more stains than any room we've ever encountered. I don't know how all the bathrooms are configured, but ours had absolutely no counter space beside the sink for toiletries and the tile looked dirty.

I don't give out 5 stars to often but this hotel deserved it. This was a great respite after a long day's bike ride. The inner central courtyard was a respite off the roads. The room was pretty large and everything was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room to do some simple emergency repair to my recumbent. Strong wifi signal. There was a large selection of hot food for breakfast.

I REALLY LIKE the fact this hotel encourages recycling and tries to cut down on waste by using bulk shampoos and soaps. This helps keep our water quality up, and our landfills free of partially used soap bars, etc. For those of you that don't care about these things, well, the location is great, easy access to everything including Wakulla Springs or down to the beach, or even back to Tallahassee. Priced right and staff is very helpful - a great place to stay!

This is a very nice property with a pretty interior courtyard and all the room doors face that on both levels. Our only complaint about this configuration was having to put up with the many smokers standing outside their rooms smoking, so the entire place often smelled like cigarette smoke even though it's a non-smoking property. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the bed was also comfortable and it was quiet except for the heavy-footed person above us. The bathroom was also spacious. The breakfast eating area was small, but there were a lot of breakfast options and my husband especially enjoyed the variety of mix-ins for the oatmeal and toppings for the waffles. The fitness room needs some upgrading. This property was in a perfect location for what we planned to do in the area and reasonably priced compared with Tallahassee motels.

This is a very nice best western with all of the rooms located around a central courtyard. We had a large upgraded room with a comfortable bed. The reception staff was very helpful. When the guest laundry was out of order they let us use the hotel dryer.

After finding out the condo we rented was horrendous, we didn't have any other options. Very pleased and will definitely stay here again when we go to visit my uncle. It is nothing fancy but the staff was very nice and the hotel was clean. Thank you for helping us at the last minute!!

Very clean and comfortable hotel to stay at. Front Desk assistant recommended a few restaurants in area. Was hunger for some BBQ and she advised us a good place was the Hamaknockers BBQ up the road. Will diffidently go back there if we are ever in area again.

The hotel is very clean. The staff is friendly, attentive and helpful. The breakfast has a good variety, better than most breakfasts provided by other similar hotel chains. The room and beds were comfortable.

My wife and I stayed at this Best Western for a family Thanksgiving gathering, expecting your typical mid-priced chain motel, it was more than that. The rooms were well appointed and very clean. One very impressive feature of this motel was the courtyard which the motel was built around, complete with gazebo. Although it appears to be in the middle of nowhere, it is centrally located to Wakulla Springs and several other sites. Since it was the holidays and the conference room was not in use, the family was given access for socializing. All in all, a very nice motel.

I wish I had to come this way again.... Good beds Extra clean Great bedding Safe Pretty & the kindest, most accommodating staff. Michelle, the night manager, (if not she could be) was awesome. Also, Seven miles down the road is a treasure for good food, Angelos & Son. GREAT STAY.

Great place to stay during Florida State football season. Call in advance because if Florida State is playing a home game it is likely that you won't get a room. Florida State's campus is about 30 miles away, but this is a popular place to stay at.. With that being said, their prices during the season can be expensive.

From time we arrived till the time we left, we could not ask for anything more. Staff was more than willing to help and was very polite. Room was exceptional. Property was very clean and well maintained. WE would definitely stay there again.

Staying in a different hotel in different areas a couple times a week, I found this one to be both a fair value and clean comfortable room. Staff was interested in making sure I got what I was looking for, and didn't just check me in and send me to my room. I have been to many that your lucky if you get a hello and eye contact. I may be just a room rent, but they made me feel welcome here.

When we booked this online in advance it was advertised as a BW Plus....on arrival though the 'Plus' appeared absent from signage? Having stayed at both categories this lacks several features of a 'Plus', but nonetheless we enjoyed our two nights, particularly because it was sooooo quiet here! (We guessed only ten or so guests were staying?). The pool area at the back is away from traffic noise. It lacked umbrella shades, but by mid-afternoon the high trees behind threw some shade. The rooms were large, clean and fresh, plus we had a spa-bath for a novelty soak. The breakfast was a little underwhelming, with many items out of stock - 2% milk, bananas, plain oats. The reception lady was very friendly and helpful - hardworking too - as she was covering both the desk and breakfast bar! We found it fairly handy for Wakulla Springs and St. Mark's W.P.

This motel is a bit difficult to find, but well worth the extra effort. The staff were professional and very friendly. Our rooms were exceptionally clean. There is a nice courtyard in the middle. Rooms come with a nice continental breakfast.

The front desk staff was very friendly and patient even though the phones rang continuously and people came in at all hours. Due to Hurricane Irma, there were a lot of people looking for rooms.For a non pet hotel, there were no issues with at least 100 dogs that checked in with their owners.No one was turned away. The room was well equipped and clean as were the grounds.The breakfast hours were extended each day for the late night arrivals and those who slept in later. Location was a little far out but there were places to see within short distances. We were given names of places to eat in town, a 5 min. drive.Overall experience was good even when the area around was being evacuated.

Nice clean hotel with a very friendly staff. Hotel is kinda out in the middle of nowhere, but yet conveniently located to the state parks and the wildlife refuge. Good value for the area. Hotel provided a list of restaurants in the area with some offering a discount for staying at the hotel. Would stay here again if we are in the area.

Chose this location for convenience to family and friends. Clean comfortable, well air-conditioned room with fresh towels +linens, hot and cold breakfast buffet, staff friendly and knowledgeable of area ,Would recommend for any traveler!

We have stayed here a couple different times and had to be up and out by 5 for work. They always make sure there is breakfast out early for us and the staff is always so helpful. The rooms are always clean and the beds are comfortable, we will be staying here again.

The hotel is close to restaurants and Wakulla Springs. This is the main reason why we stayed in this hotel, plus our previous favorable experience with Best Western hotels. To our surprise, we had a very different experience from other patrons with this hotel. Upon arrival, we encountered a dead roach in the entrance to the lobby area. Fine, we live in Florida. It happens. However, there were also dead roaches in our bedroom and bathroom. Our room had a very moldy carpet. The bathtub curtain showed wear. However, the bathroom seemed clean (but for a dead roach on the floor), and it had shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers, which is a convenient feature in BW hotels. The bathtub was somewhat curved and narrow, which made it difficult to stand, particularly as it was slippery and there were no bars on the wall to hold on to (we are in our early fifties, so I can imagine this must be more difficult for older folks.) There were cigarette butts on the common grounds right outside our room. Also, there was an empty box of cigarettes in the garden area. Not a nice sight. The sheets and bedding seemed clean, but we spent the night concerned about potential bugs and did not sleep well. Fortunately, we did not observe/experience any bedbugs. The bed and the pillows were hard. The A/C blew on the window curtains. The room was large, but it was not equipped with easily accessible plugs to charge our phones near our bed. We could hear the folks above our room walking and talking, as well. We did leave the room the next morning with allergies. The breakfast area and lobby seemed clean. The waffles were good but could benefit from fresh fruit toppings (not “fruit syrup”). The breakfast bar assortment was diverse: eggs (powder), sausages, biscuits, sausage gravy (not the best), coffee, juices (good), apples, bananas, bagels, English muffins, among other items. The staff was helpful and prepared with references to restaurants in the area. They had a list prepared when we asked. The hotel is located in a quiet area, and it is very close to Wakulla Springs. Upon departure the next morning, the dead roach in the lobby entrance was still there. We live in Florida and understand there are bugs here. But there is clearly a maintenance issue in this hotel. We recommend changing the old carpeting and monitoring for bugs frequently, as well as picking up the cigarette butts and trash that other patrons throw in the courtyard. We did not report the above issues to the staff because we arrived very late and were exhausted, and we planned to leave very early in the morning. If we return to the area, we will not stay at this hotel again.

I have stayed at the Wakulla Inn several times and each time it has been a great choice!! I plan to return. It is an excellent value. The location is perfect for fishing, golf or just relaxing. Perfect!

I stay in this hotel every year to visit a friend in the area. This time was not a good experience. A few days after my stay I noticed a rash on the back of one leg and bites up the other leg. I took pictures just to verify but I have had bed bug bites before and it was obvious that is what they were. I contacted the hotel and could not get a hold of the manager and left repeated messages. I called corporate repeatedly and no one ever called me back even after weeks of trying. No return phone calls from out of the manager or corporate. Despicable customer service. I will not stay at this hotel again.

Let's just start by saying kudos ! From the time we walked in to the front desk to the time we checked out, what a complete surprise! Me,my sis,my mom and my niece went up to visit my brother at wakulla correctional. The rooms were really comfortable and very roomy for the four of us. The rooms were spotless. I'm a little bit of a clean freak so I was really impressed. Breakfast was nice but the best part of your hotel are the two girls at your front desk. Layla and Avani . Happy. Beautiful.pleasant. When we told her about our stay and how nice it looked, she replied " we really try "! Well Layla it really does. See you soon!

This is a clean, comfortable motel with a friendly staff.We have stayed here many, many times and it had always been enjoyable. The courtyard has a lovely gazebo where you can eat your breakfast if you wish.

My family raved about the omelettes here! The whole breakfast layout was outstanding!! Clean room, great jacuzzi for my aching back. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Did not use the pool or workout room.

We stayed here just for one night but we enjoyed it a lot! PROS: - Super clean - Very serving staff. They explained the area and options to us even without asking. - The room was very big and the bed very comfortable. - It has a nice pool. - Breakfast is included and parking and wifi are free of charge. - The price was good too. CONS - It is a little secluded, in the middle of nowhere, but if it is on your way or close to your destination, this is a great option!

Good room for money we only stayed 1 night arrived late left early staff was friendly and helpfull. room is in the middle of nowhere and was a good stopping place on our drive to disney. Breakfast was ready when we got up and out of the room which was early and it had a good variety of items.

A very nice hotel. The staff were excellent and very friendly. It is a little bit out of the way of most things. Wakulla Springs, Tallahassee, and the beaches are at a minimum 30 minute drive, some more that that. But overall it was very pleasant. The breakfast was not very good. The room was very comfortable and large. the pool was nice. It was always quite during the night.

My wife, sons & I overnighted here on 24th May as part of our US Road Trip 2017. The hotel is clean, tidy and modern, as are the rooms, which are very large by European standards. We had been travelling for over 7 hours by car from New Orleans, so were tired both from partying as well as driving... Didn't do very much in the evening but there is a nice gazebo area in the central courtyard where you can have a drink and a smoke. Breakfast is standard self-service Best Western fare of cereals, strange sausage and rubbery scrambled eggs but it's part of the price so you can't complain. Good value for the money, as Best Western's always are,

Location is within a 15 minute drive to WalMart and Winn-Dixie. Check in was fast and friendly. This property looks brand new with a spacious breakfast area and gorgeous fountain. Breakfast: scrambled and hard boiled eggs, bacon, biscuits, sausage gravy, oatmeal, waffles, fresh fruit and pastries. Rooms are also spacious with coffeemakers, a microwaves and a refrigerator with separate freezer. This could comfortably and affordably serve as an extended stay hotel. Very quiet, nice granite bathroom with wall-dispensed citrusy Breck shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Extensive cable channels including HBO. Nice clock radio with ocean sounds :) Looking forward to another stay!

Great place to stay, cost effective, and near all the local sites! Polite staff a plus! We had an easy, pleasurable experience and a decent breakfast each morning. The room was clean and the bed was nice. Probably the best budget hotel in the area.

Well let's put it like this...nice clean property, friendly staff BUT had booked via an online booking hotel portal and was denied to change a room with 2 beds (there were 5 cars in the parking lot so hotel nearly empty) due to that fact and I asked for a quiet room and was placed in the basement, first room next to the door where everyone needs to pass on the way to their rooms in the left wing, 1st level rooms being above, you hear every step someone makes, view from the room to the garbage storage and the drain pipe ends right in front of the room...interesting... Working myself for a major European online hotel booking portal that fact is an interesting experience.... Breakfast is free but basics, nothing like fresh fruits like an apple or something. So really the way the property is set and staff make the positive points but I would re-think to stay here...

Pleased overall with quality of room, personnel, and service. Only disappointing aspect was the lack of advertised Internet access. Parking and exterior appearance including landscaping an room access was excellent.

friendly desk personal .. room was clean ... Bathroom Shower had mould in the grout.. and faucets in shower and sink did not work properly... hand held shower head did not work properly.. the shower bench they provided needed maintenance the seat was not firmly attached, it needed overall tightening and a good cleaning.. My husband cleaned it and we sprayed it with lysol very well let it dry and then I put a towel over it to sit on it for my shower. internet signal was so bad my phone or my laptop would not connect. We were there only for a night or I would have brought these things to the desk personal .. There's not many places to stay in this area next time we are going to try the only other hotel down the street... and see which will be our place to count on..

Easy well lit Parking, very clean hotel property, comfortable bed, clean room, surprisingly good breakfast with lots of choices, great service, close to everything you need, will definitely stay here again!

The staff on the reception was friendly and willing to help. Rooms not allways clean and the equipment in the fitnesscenter is outdated ( treadmill and cross steper ). The carbage can outside didn't get cleaned up. Breakfast was just OK, but I would think that I can get fresh fruit juices in Florida...

The office staff I dealt with, both on the phone and at check-in were very nice, and helpful. Rooms opened onto an enclosed courtyard. Our room was large, the bed and pillows very comfortable. A great bonus was a make-up mirror. Warning: the shower/tub has wall dispensers, and the gel made the tub EXTREMELY SLIPPERY!! If I had known, I would have asked for a bath mat. I hope that management would provide for that. Since it is out in the country, there is no noise, or bright lights, so we got a great night's sleep.

We were there because of a funeral. It was quiet and restful. We had everything we needed. We enjoyed a very good breakfast. My only complaint was the condition of the lovely courtyard. The plants and the fountain needed upkeep.

Price was great, front desk people were fine. Breakfast, not so much. Why don't they allow pets. The room was ok, except the shower. It was good too see a hotel, not price gouging due to FSU graduation.

Inn was clean, quiet. Bed was nice and on the newer side. It's a few country miles from the outstanding Wakulla Springs. Wifi was adequate. Only complaint, maid had not pulled door closed fully when done cleaning the room so room was left open. Informed front desk clerk who was not concerned at all. Not too safe.

I travel to visit family from Florida to Pennsylvania with my 94 year old mother. I always stay at Best Western Hotels. The convenience, cleanliness, safety and professional staff assure that all of our needs are met at each hotel. WHY would we stay any where else?

The staff at this location at this time was very helpful. I have stayed there on several different occasions and this trip by far was the best. all the other times it was good but this time was much better. keep the staff you have now and keep doing what you are doing. Great job.

Did not expect a BW hotel to be this good usually stay at upscale hotels or casinos however I was impressed with the cleanliness and excellent service Have stayed at other Best Westerns and usually avoid them. The cute little blond headed girl who checked us in did not look well so after asking she fessed up that she had the flu and was using sanitizer and lysol to clean all she touched, I ask if she could go home and she said nobody would work for her so she could not leave, I saw some management there shortly after checking in that should have sent her home so we all did not get sick. Overall the hotel was clean and nice, We left the next morning without eating breakfast but the choices were a little slimmer than normal especially no decaf coffee. The a/c in our room was noisy. Overall was really clean for a motel owned by the Patels.

This is a clean and well run Best Western, but the best part is that the staff was very friendly and helpful. The front desk person was an enthusiastic tour guide and told us good places to eat. The breakfast is filling and fresh, with healthy options.

Hotel is away from hustle and bustle of a city. Actually outside a small rural town but with easy access to local diners and shopping, etc. Very pleasant to spend some quiet time looking out a window at undeveloped land for a change.

We appreciated that this hotel hss a policy of no smoking and no pets. All to often we have found rooms that have an unpleasant odor of perfume that I suspect is the result of an attempt to cover up stale smoke or pet odors. This hotel's room smelled clean and fresh. The breakfast was unusually good and well presented.

Very clean, great bed, wifi, and toiletries. Looked brand new or newly remolded in the room. Appreciated the mini fridge and microwave and hbo. 5 star hotel and room with lovely views of a pine trees from my room and the sounds of the water from the dolphin fountain made it peaceful. Free breakfast was average/what you'd expect.

On the way to family for thanksgiving...we stayed Wednesday night before the holiday...found it thru trip advisor....was everything promised and more...wonderful rooms and property....would surmise that it's fairly new construction....only alert...is that Are NO restaurants nearby.....we arrived at 730pm.....or 0830pm....depending on which side u are of the time zone ....only place was a little bbq shack......eat before u arrive or put up with wait for delivery pizza.....

We stopped at this hotel looking for a place to stay. We were tired and cranky due to driving a long distance. We checked in and we were very pleased. We had a very nice room. It was clean and spacious. We also met some very nice people there. The breakfast was great.

Arrived in the evening after a long drive and was glad to see that this was a gem to stay at. Room was very good and nice and quiet. Breakfast bar was great . Staff very nice and friendly. Would stay here again.

We escaped to this chain because of Hurricane Matthew. It was gonna hit our area. The accommodations were very good. Room was spacious and had a clean smell. The breakfast was a nice touch as was the coffee. I recommend this Best Western.. 4 to 5 star staff,

Clean and comfy room. Looks recently remodeled. Bathroom was free of any mold and mildew and nicely decorated. Granite shower. Fridge/microwave/coffee pot in room. Pool available and gazebo located in central courtyard. HBO also available. Free hot breakfast available.

Friendly staff, clean room with lots of space (we stayed in king bed room) and enjoyed having breakfast available too! Bed and pillows were excellent. We stayed 3 nights for a family gathering and would do again.

There's not much in the area so finding the place is pretty easy. There's a microwave and small fridge along with a coffee maker in the room. There are not any nearby restaurants but I did find a Subway about 4 miles away. This is an inexpensive hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was typical stuff - bacon, eggs, waffles, cereal, pastries, fruit & yogurt. There was a cute little courtyard that it looks like the majority of the rooms open up to. If you are in the area it's a nice little find.

Hotel on our roundtrip through North Florida, fittet our needs. Very friendly staff, rooms are spacious although it's time for renovation, surroundings are nicely decorated and breakfast was fine and well stocked!

Dropped in with no reservation and the girl at the desk was very accommodating. She asked a few questions to give us the best nights sleep. Our room was clean and bed comfortable. Offered a breakfast had something for everyone. I would recommend staying if you are in town. The pool is refreshing and well maintained.

Hotel was very clean and friendly. Breakfast was good. Arrived late and checked out early only one night stay. The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioner work really well. I like the indoor courtyard very relaxing.

Excellent hotel...strongly recommend. With a short 20 minute drive to FSU this hotel runs circles around those in Tallahassee that are charging $200 per night, some with a two night minimum on graduation weekend at FSU.

The hotel is very well decorated and has nice courtyard for sitting and quiet time...rooms are big and most important clean...nice comfortable king bed... Thank you for a nice stay and for Sarah couteously making my waffle at breakfast...the pecans were delicious...

We stayed two nights at this BW. They did everything right. From the professionalism of the front desk person who knew better than to say our room number out loud (security!) to the impeccable cleanliness of the rooms to the make-up mirror in the bathroom AND the eco-friendly refillable shampoo and soap in the shower, I was blown away by this hotel. I have never stayed in a nicer Best Western. Kudos to the GM.

Loved this small hotel. Though out of the way in a small town, we thought this was one of the best BEST BEST WESTERNS we have ever stayed out. We had a great swim, a great night's sleep and a nice breakfast in the morning. Much better than staying in Tallahassee!

The rooms were beautiful and clean. Service from Jane was wonderful upon check-in. Breakfast was fresh and coffee was really good. So quiet!! A great night's sleep and very affordable. We will stay again for sure!!

After a long day of traveling this hotel was a welcomed relief. The staff was all smiles and extremely friendly. Bobbie, the desk clerk is defiantly an asset to the hotel with her friendly and helpful nature. The staff's great attitude was greatly appreciated. The room was one of the cleanest we have stayed at in a while and in good shape. The hot breakfast was also great. My only suggestion would be that if they could have a 24-hour mini restaurant with sandwiches, yogurt, or other meal time foods it would be helpful because the hotel is located in the middle of nowhere. As a gardener I did appreciate the beautiful landscaping, and proper maintenance (weeding) would also be nice.

This hotel was nice, had comfy beds, & very friendly staff. Breakfast was good, lots of choices. Also beautiful location! The rooms are quite spacious with a frig, microwave, wonderful a/c and all you need for a stay!

I was looking for a place close to the beach and reasonable. This was able to meet those criteria. It was a pleasant place to stay. The breakfast had many offerings of cold and hot foods. It was a quiet place because it was a smaller establishment.

We stayed here for four nights. I was a little hesitant to pay $100/night for a best western, but the hotel was nice. The pool was clean. The fountain was beautiful & the sound was pleasant. Breakfast buffet was free and more than adequate ( waffles, meat, eggs, biscuits, gravy, bagels, fruit, yogurt , juice, milk, etc). They kept it stocked throughout the entire morning. The fitness room had great equipment for its small size ( treadmill, 2 Bikes, TRX machine, free weights, weight bench). The staff were friendly & the manager was always on property & made himself available to guests, which made a big impact on us. We would stay here again.

This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The A/C did not work on our first night, we were accused of smoking in our room, purposely locked out of our room every single day, our credit card was charged multiple times without explanation, our room was never cleaned and even after hanging the "Please Clean" door tag, the front desk had to call us to confirm that we did want it cleaned. To top it all off, the owner was the one giving us all of these issues! Other front desk staff were pleasant, if not very helpful with our issues.

Very Clean rooms and Awesome service from staff. We bring customers to hotel for company business 4-5 times per year and they always are very accommodating. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in this area for business or pleasure.

After a long drive up the gulf coast of Florida, this motel appeared as I was desperate to rest my eyes and body. I'm partially handicapped and can't walk more than about 30 yards without being in a lot of pain and as a result, I have an electric scooter that I carry at the back of my car. The motel was very clean and more attractive than I would have expected in such a small town. The staff was so extremely friendly and helpful I almost spent another night. This was the second BW I've stayed at this week and both were wonderful experiences.

The Wakulla Best Western has been the best one I've stayed in. The employees were outstanding in their professionalism and customer service. A great smile each day, a simple making sure is there anything you need question. Nice clean rooms, especially the bathrooms. A beautiful center courtyard decorated nicely with flowers and trees. Just a great place to stay.

What a lovely Best Western! It is one of the best Best Westerns that I have ever stayed. It is a cut above the competition. The facility is beautiful. There is an interior courtyard with a fountain of dolphins spewing water and a large gazebo. Bright flowers surround and decorate the courtyard which beckons guests to sit a spell. I saw a similar architecture at an Embassy Suite in the Miami area. The immaculate room was large and spacious with two queen-sized beds. There was a waist-high fridge, a microwave oven, and a coffee-maker. Two writing desks, a large television set, two chairs, and a cabinet to hang clothes filled up the room. The spotless bathroom had matching granite on its sink and walls surrounding the bath tub. Dial shampoo, Dial body soap, and Brecks conditioner were in canisters built into the wall. Big white fluffy towels were properly folded and available. Everything looked new and clean. Breakfasts were abundant, delicious, and unlimited. Feast on country biscuits, sausages, Canadian ham, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy, and salsa. If this were not enough, there were waffle makers to make hot waffles, pancakes already made, bagels, breads, and assorted pastries. In the refrigerator were yogurts, cream cheese, and hard-boiled eggs. Oranges, apples, and bananas, and cereals with all kinds of milk were available. Coffee, teas, and juices were naturally offered. Food was continually replenished. Most of us, including the European tourists, ate too much and left groaning. The manager/owner, Mr. Patel was extremely nice. He worked at breakfasts and the front desk when his staff was busy. He told me where to find the pelicans and alligators in the area. To my delight, I did. He was extremely polite and wanted to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of the customers. I appreciated that. The entire staff said hello and smiled at the guests. The location is rural on Rt. 98 and Rt. 319 but easily accessible. It is close to the Apalachicola National Forest and a great wildlife refuge. A Walmart, Winn Dixie supermarket, gas stations, and fast food restaurants like Burger King, McDonalds, and Subway are five miles up the road on Rt. 319 in Crawfordville. It is an easy ride. In short, this was an unusually nice Best Western. The rates were fair. The quality was excellent. Hampton Inn, eat your heart out!

Stayed here on a kayaking trip -- the location is great for many of the places I was looking to visit. The rooms are spacious and clean and offer a wide range of amenities, including a refrigerator and microwave. Have stayed here a few times and have never been disappointed.

When traveling on business it is good to find a comfortable room. My room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The best part was the peace and quiet that this motel offered and the peaceful courtyard.

Only stayed 1 night en route to south florida. Room huge, bathroom huge. Breakfast nothing to write home about but we werent bothered too much as it was a reasonable priced hotel. The outside area looked nice. Staff were all very polite.

I took two of my grandchildren for the weekend. The motel was clean and the staff was efficient and friendly. The pool was open and was also clean with bathroom located conveniently near. We had breakfast each morning and the food was plentiful with biscuits, gravy, sausage, scrambled eggs and waffles as the main offerings. Pretty standard breakfast included fare. The hotel does not have a lot of shopping options and restaurants nearby but there is a Dollar General and convenience store right down the road. This was our second stay and we have been well pleased.

I stayed at this very good hotel because it was conveniently located on highway 98 and was pleasantly surprised at what a nice hotel it is. I did not have high expectations since it is in such a remote rural location, but found a good sized, well maintained, and managed hotel. I'd recommend it, and will stay there again next time I am in the area.

Stayed several days but had to leave early & suddenly for emergency at home. We were grateful for outstanding help we received from the desk when we had to leave suddenly. We were not familiar with the area but they helped us with directions to Atlanta airport & booking another hotel in Atlanta. While we did stay, we were comfortable. The first floor room was clean, quiet, & convenient from the parking lot. Hot breakfasts were available & I appreciated the scrambled eggs. It is not the fault of the hotel, but there were no other conveniences within walking distance. I had anticipated that it would be closer to the town of Crawfordville.

this is an exceptionally run hotel. the owners are very visible and take great pride in their establishment. the entire staff and overall experience is excellent. great location, convenient to all sites, restaurants, etcs. this is a very quiet hotel which makes for and excellent night sleep!!

Admittedly, the pickings are slim in this area, but this does not live up to Best Western standards. Check in was very slow process through a very nice, but very slow front desk. She was the only one on duty on Sat nite. Found that the room had no water so I called the same front desk person who said she would come down and take a look. 15 minutes later I went to the desk. She had gotten busy. Later the maintenance man come by and admitted that he had turned the water off and forgot to turn it back on. Pool is very small. Room had a musty order. Just a bad experience.

We visited friends that were in town and chose this hotel and glad we did. Service is great, rooms clean, beds comfy, wifi strong and decent breakfast. The court yard was very nice with some beautiful rose bushes. Everything about our stay was perfect and we would stay again.

Only 2 places to stay in Crawfordville. Both expensive. We chose Best Western because they offered a full breakfast instead of a Continental breakfast. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. The young lady behind the desk was very friendly and polite. Every time we walked through the lobby, she wanted to make sure everything was to our satisfaction.

Clean rooms, great breakfast and the court yard is beautiful. It is close to everything. Shell Point is within miles and so it St. Marks. Cable TV with movie channels. The beds are very comfortable and the pillow options are great.

Very nice stay for the price range (and area)! The courtyard setup is charming and cute. King room was very large, clean, and comfortable. Tasteful and "homey" decor. Breakfast was those "okay" standard free breakfast deals (I'm not a big fan). Nice staff. Would stay here again!

Emily greeted us with a friendly smile and quickly checked us in. We had a king room, clean, spacious, comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. The WIFI was fast and dependable. The rooms face a well maintained courtyard with a fountain. The price of the room was less then I would have expected. The only negative was, on the breakfast; the hot items were barely warm and the cold items were barely cool. In spite of that, I would definitely recommend staying there.

We only stayed one night, but were allowed to check in early so we could freshen up before meeting with friends. Best Western Plus has the best breakfast any similar priced facility. I'd recommend Best Western Plus for families, business travelers,

We stayed here one night because we couldn't get into our vacation rental a day early. The night before, we had beenforced to stay in a horrible Super 8 in Tennessee while traveling. This Best Western was wonderful, especially compared to the Super 8! The rooms were nice and big! The breakfast was hot and offered plenty of choices! The pool was not heated but we jumped in anyhow! The staff was great and very helpful. The courtyard was very picturesque!

Stopped at this hotel on the way to Fort Walton Beach from Madeira Beach, FL. The room was spacious and clean and the courtyard was fantastic. We sat outside in the gazebo. It is a very quiet area. One downfall is they do not have a heated outdoor pool.

Picked this hotel because it was close to Wakulla Springs and the Lodge was fully booked. The hotel is by itself and in a quiet area. The lobby is nice but nothing fancy. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The hot breakfast was good with other options available. Hotel staff was also helpful in recommending a great barbecue place for dinner. If you want a decent hotel near Wakulla Springs, this is your best option.

After three days with 5 high schoolers, this was our last stop. I totally enjoyed the look of the hotel; a central courtyard with no outside doors and a great looking garden and gazebo. This staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that the walls seem a bit thin since I listened to my neighbor's TV until they went to sleep, but really I could have drowned that out with my on TV. Go anyway...I loved the place.

Bobby,and the rest of the ladies there were fenomenal,great people,they treat me like a local,and had the breakfast ready early. The room service ladies were perfect in every way. The view from my room to the natural wilderness was a plus, since nature is one of those things that is getting lost with so much construction, this was a gift I truly enjoyed.

For a remote area, this a nice comfortable hotel for a short stay. I had an issue with the hot water (lack of) and noise (adjoining room shared a door) which were not resolved, but those are design flaws, not the fault of the staff who were generally friendly. Bed was clean and comfy, free breakfast was satisfactory enough. Gym and courtyard are nice.

Spacious room, clean with a good comfortable bed. The only sort of weird thing in the room was the a/c. It had a little control attached to it to control the temp. It worked, so I guess it was okay. The room had a work/dining table with two chairs, plus a desk with a chair and a king sized bed and it still had plenty of room. The front desk clerk called us to make sure everything was okay. The internet seems to work just fine also. Not slow. I was a little disappointed the the fountain wasn't working in the courtyard. It didn't look like there was any one working on it so think it has been non-working for awhile. It would have added a nice touch to the courtyard Can't comment on the breakfast as we have just checked in but if there is anything special to add in the morning,I will.

Excellent in all respects! Wonderful in all respects. Definitely would stay this Best Western again. We plan on doing so in the very near future. The quality of service was way above average. Most importantly, the rooms were clean, comfortable and nicely decorated

This is about the fifth year we have visited this inn. Every year this facility seems to update something. This year it is the breakfast area and food. I nice improvement. Usually we are just passing through going to bike week in Daytona. Last year, the desk clerk told us about all the places to see in the area. We spend three days seeing the sights.

Came here with my husband for a weekend fishing tournament. This is a great little find in the middle of the Old Florida coast. Very clean and pretty courtyard to enjoy some quite time in. Normal free breakfast but was good for free. Beds were very comfortable and nice remodeled feel.

It had been many, many years since we had last ventured this way, in winter. We were shocked by the hotel prices in Tallahassee, so we kept going to our final destination of Crawfordville, Florida and I am so glad we didn't stop sooner! This hotel is away from any immediate structures and busy highways (just the way I like it) yet convenient to the gas station/store and most importantly, Hutton's Food Trailer! The room was clean and comfortable. Originally, I wanted to stay at The Lodge at Wakulla Springs, but the one room they had available wasn't overlooking the springs, wasn't a king and had no television, which, although we did not watch much of it, it was nice to have when we did. The only real negative is not isolated to this hotel and one of my pet peeves. We had gotten the last king suite available, so there wasn't any choice in the matter, but lo and behold, the first morning there, we were awakened at FOUR-THIRTY AM by the roar of the garbage truck RUMBLING past our room and collecting the dumpster within sight and earshot of the room! Surely I CANNOT be the only person who finds this lack of concern for the paying guests' to be annoying. We give hard-earned money to hotels to get a good night's sleep. 4:30 AM is not an acceptable time, to anyone I know, to get an unwanted wake-up call! That is why I took my overall rating down to a "Very Good". (Our town has a noise law preventing such early collections and almost makes me not want to leave home!) There was a minor issue with the availability of certain foods at the breakfast bar which was promptly addressed by the management (/owner, I believe) to our satisfaction. I always appreciate a hotel that has boiled eggs, fresh fruit and yogurt. This one had all that and a very decent hot food selection, as well. I loved having a secured courtyard, always a plus for women, in my book. Unfortunately, the fountain was not running for most of the time we were there and there was no phone service in the room the first night, but I can hardly hold this against the Best Western as they had just had a severe weather (and tornado nearby) come through. I was happy we had a room and electricity (which many people didn't have, judging by the two dozen or so utility workers at breakfast in the morning). I also want to commend Emily, the Front Desk Clerk, for being welcoming, helpful and kind to us when we checked in and happily for us, as we checked out. (It was her recommendation that led us to Huttons!) Thank you, Emily!

Nice area to sit in the the outdoors for leisure time .Everything was nice and clean and property is well maintained .i Free breakfast ,free internet blow dryer and iron with iron board . There is a fountain area and swimming pool .

We stayed here for 1 night in a king bed room. The room was clean quite and comfortable. It was a good size also. The room had sufficient electrical outlets for charging mobile devices. The free breakfast was not so good. Orange juice is not orange juice but a yellow orange like drink. Instead of butter they serve a "spread". The yogurt, and eggs were good. why not serve a better breakfast and up the room charge $5. If you are in this area there is not much to choose from and this BW is a good choice. I would stay here again

Large clean rooms, attractive bath, microwave and fridge. Excellent staff, attentive and helpful. The breakfast is a standout. Includes fresh breads, yoghurt, juice eggs, grits and sausage. Make your own waffles. Staff was quick to replace low supplies. No penny pinching on inferior plates either. 24 / 7 coffee and tea.

Don't get me wrong about this Best Western. It's a very good Hotel. The only drawback is the only food around is BBQ wich we found very good and at a good price less 10% for staying at the BW. This Best Western is a great stop if you are on the way to South Hill or Tampa from western Florida

Stayed two nights, very well kept. Basic hotel breakfast, clean rooms. Had a king bed room, nicely decorated, on west side of building, was quiet and great beds. Room 208. Lovely view from the window, felt safe and like we were out in the woods. Around us they were doing prescribed burns, but room never smelled smokey. Very patient and helpful staff too. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

The front desk staff was friendly upon arrival and when we left. Both women answered my questions and pointed my in a good direction for dinner. Our room was clean, but chilly. The heater needs to be upgraded to work more efficiently. We had to put it on 80 to get the room to a warm temperature. It was below 70 when we went in and low 70 when we left - inefficient to the max. The shower was superb and the shampoo/body wash/conditioner were in containers on the shower wall. I liked this better than having to fool with tiny bottles and wish that other hotels offered the same. The refrigerator and microwave were clean and worked well. The coffeemaker needs to be replaced. It took over 10 minutes to get half of the water through. I ended up leaving with a super-strong cup of coffee because I couldn't get the water to go through. I even was able to get a map of Florida while there, a rare but good find.

We stayed one night while traveling through the area. Stay in a hotel was satisfactory nothing special. Would not stay for an extended period of time. Nice courtyard and OK breakfast. Staff were pleasant and friendly.

We spent the night in this hotel and it was great. The room was really large, with a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The bathroom was plenty big and even had a nice magnifying mirror. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The courtyard is well kept and beautiful. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Hats off to this hotel because they really seem to have their act together. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. Don't hesitate, you can't go wrong with them.

This hotel was very nice. Room was large and clean. Internet worked great. Breakfast was okay ... normal for a hotel breakfast. The courtyard was very nice. I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area.

Hotel staff was excellent and of all the Best Westerns I have stayed in over the last 40 years, this was by far the nicest and the cleanest. I have had some really scary experiences at Best Western in the past but these people have restored my faith in Best Western. They should be the example for the entire chain. Thank You!

This was a decent hotel. The room was comfortable and quiet. The price was a little high for the area. The breakfast was OK, the usual type you get at most Best Westerns. The outside courtyard needed some attention, a little cleaning.

i would recommend this place. It is very clean, quite and comfortable. It offers a very good hot breakfast and has a friendly, helpful staff. It is also nicely furnished and the grounds and patio area are a nice touch. Wish it was warmer so we could have sat out in the patio area.

We stay at this hotel several times per year. The owners and staff make certain to attend to each guests unique needs, They are warm and welcoming upon your arrival and always check to make sure you are satisfied with your accommodations. The breakfast is nicely presented with many items to choose from. You can definitely find something yummy to please your pallet. We highly recommend this hotel, you will never be disappointed.

No hot water, staff made the excuse that we were at the end of the line! Generator buzzed outside the window all night. We booked 6 months in advance and paid top dollar for the worst experience in this kind of hotel I have known.

On our road trip through Florida we also wanted to go to the Wakulla Springs. The best hotel nearby according to Tripadvisor was this Best Western. Oddly enough our navigaor was planning on sending us why further down the road but my hisband saw the hotel right on time. We booked while we were still on the road and got a king size bed/room/suit with a view of the road. It was as we were expecting, so we were satisfied. The bed was good and we could make our own coffee. Little are our needs! :-) we went to a great little bbq restaurant just down the road for dinner (hamaknockers) and went to bed early. The next day we got our directions and a little map to get us off to the Springs. Nice front desk people! The breakfast didn't do it for us, since we are yogurt kind of breakfast-people and there was none.

Great little hotel, nice rooms with excellent service close to the water and Wakulla Springs and an easy trip to Tallahassee. Good breakfast items, comfortable beds. There are also several really good restaurants in the area. I highly recommend this hotel.

A pleasure as always. I stay here often and have never been dissatisfied with anything or anyone. Clean, friendly, nice, good breakfast. Good parking, even when trailering equipment. Will always stay here when in town.

Stayed one night while on a several day trip through Florida. What a nice hotel! So happy I found it, truly a gem. Very reasonably priced, spotlessly clean & very comfortable. Staff very friendly & helpful. Breakfast available is better than most hotels where I've stayed where you serve yourself. If I ever repeat the trip I'll certainly stay here again!

Fabulous place to stay. Well maintained, meticulously clean, superior management and staff. We are returning guests and cannot begin to express adequately how great it is to be a guest at this hotel. The owners are very warm and welcoming and make you feel right "at home."

Everyone who works here is super nice. The rooms are large and clean. We had a King Suite and so did my mom and her friend. They had a huge garden tub in the bathroom and we were expecting the same thing and were disappointed that we only got a normal tub. But we didn't specify that we'd like one. It was just a nice surprise for my mom and her friend. If you like a long, hot bath at the end of the day then ask for a room with the big tub and bring some bubble bath. I have no complaints at all and would gladly stay here again.

We stay here often. Great staff, good facilities, and overall very professional. The owners are very accommodating and really work hard at their business. They hire good staff and train them well. Nice leisurely place to stay.

They had a computer and printer available just off the lobby that you can use (nice to print out boarding passes for flights..). Absolutely no complaints. I found this hotel to be very clean. The staff was very helpful and respectable to us. The breakfast area was clean and the food was hot and a pretty good variety. I would stay here again. Prices were reasonable. It was kinda out in the middle of no where and we were glad to see the sign.

We stayed there for one night after our visit in Wakulla Springs State Park (which is really worth a visit too), Staff was very nice, rooms where clean and breakfast was good. The hotel has a pool and the inner yard is also nice to look at with its fountain.

The hotel is what it is! It is not a resort but a place to stay when you are in the Panhandle of Florida. The room (101) was large and the entrance was from an open courtyard. The room had the little refrigerator and microwave. The TV had cable but you could only get about 35 channels. They had a breakfast but I did not eat because I was still full from the sea food restaurant the night before. If you want more you have to go north to the Capital City, Tallahassee, FL
