Best Western Cranbrook Hotel

The front desk agent that was on shift during my arrival was friendly attentive & caring. He had an excellent demeanour & was helpful with answering all of my questions about the hotel. He was able to provide assistance with a future booking that took any guesswork away from doing it online

Front desk staff were great to deal with on the phone and in person. Clean hotel and overall very happy. Stayed with our hockey team and hotel Stay were very respectful to all the boys running hanging around

I required a late night, last minute room for my young daughter, who had broken her arm and was sent to our out of town hospital, and I. The gentleman that took my call was very caring, concerned, and accommodating! The room was very clean, and the beds comfortable. It was very late by the time we got in, and we left early in the AM to drive home, so I did not get a chance to use any of the hotel amenities. But the staff we encountered were all very friendly, helpful and caring.

Stayed here for one night as part of a 12-day sightseeing tour/vacation on the way from Banff to the US border. Although this was the lowest priced accommodation we stayed in on this trip, there was very little to complain about. Hotel is one of many on the main drag, but our room on ground floor was quiet. Check in was straightforward and staff friendly and helpful. Our double/twin room was large and spotlessly clean, with all the amenities we could have hoped for at the price paid. Although we didn't dine in the hotel, there is a small restaurant serving breakfast and dinner, and numerous alternative dining options nearby.

Though the outside of the hotle looks very plain, the inside is lovely and welcoming. The King Room we had was very spacious with a kitchentte and small table and chairs. We decided to stay at the hotel for dinner, and it was a great decision. Food was wonderful and the bartender/server was a cheerful girl who gave us great service.

Very expensive for what we received. Pillows very hard, no night table on one side of king bed even though there was room. It was quiet, clean and spacious. The front staff were very friendly. Coffee in the room was awful they should get a new brand or don't bother. They did have free coffee in the lobby we did not try it.

I had a decent 1 night stay here. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The main issue was the noise - the room doors slam shut so I was constantly woken up in the morning when people came and went from their rooms. Also, the room fridge made loud clicking noises all night. I did not have a great sleep.

The hotel is very clean the front end staff was friendly and helpful was very disappointing not to have a continental breakfast as they've made it a private restaurant and you have to pay for your breakfast all best westerns I've stayed at have a free continental breakfast rooms now are expensive more than ever there should be some kind of a perk to stay at the best WesternI am a diamond elite member

Pulled in later at night off the highway on a bike trip with no reservation (probably not highly recommended) but reception was helpful and signed me up for BW Rewards so I could get a preferred rate and we thought the room and bed were exceptionally clean and comfortable

We stayed at a lot of hotels this summer, and we could always rely on BW. This particular property did not disappoint. Clean, useful amenities. We have stayed in Cranbrook on several occasions, and this was by far the best hotel we have stayed in that area.

The location is ok, there was no pre registration for arrival. They want to make you feel special they give you one bottle of water and a bag of awful chips. First of all there were two of us. A cold bottle of water would have been better appreciated . We had to ask for a second one. The bathroom was very small, toilet and tub. You can't hardly move. My husband who has some disability issues was not impressed. I do not recommend the restaurant , they only make poached eggs and you don't get them like you asked for. This morning they were washing the entrance floor, not the greatest time as people are checking out.

Nice hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pool was clean and reasonably warm. Staff member who cleaned our room was delightful and friendly. Beds are comfortable. Overall, we had a great three night stay. No issues with customer service, everyone was helpful.

Our room was huge and so was the shower! It was beautiful room and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had laundry to do and had the laundry room to myself. I passed a few housekeeping staff in the hallway and they greeted me and were very cheerful. The hotel was in a good location for nearby restaurants.

Hotel is a little more than a great motel. Rooms are clean and large. Staff is welcoming. Parking lot can get full because of the high amount of contractors staying at this location. At this time of stay the restaurant was undergoing renovations.

As a family that has traveled extensively the last few years, we can say this hotel is run very well. The staff was so polite and helpful, everything was spotless, and the hotel seemed fully staffed (which is rare these days). If it wasn't in the middle of nowhere, we'd for sure be back. Absolutely stop here though, if you're traveling through Cranbrook.

We were traveling with friends and this is the first time they stayed at a Best Western and they were impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and friendliness of the staff. The only thing that could improve the stay was to include breakfast.

We were looking to get to sleep by 10 pm as we drove a long way. There were kids running the halls and doors slamming until 11:30 pm. We asked the staff and the manager to do something about it multiple times. They said they would but nothing changed for 1 1/2 hours.

Fantastic staff, clean everything, comfy beds. Restaurant on site had great food choices and decently priced. Loved the unlimited supply of coffee every day!! Pool was nice and clean. Fitness centre had enough equipment and a nice garden view. Strongly recommend for a stay in Cranbrook.

Good value, nice size and clean room, friendly and efficient staff. Nice continental breakfast, free coffee , hot water for tea, and ice cold water. Nice large screen tv. Good location with many good food choices nearby.

No restaurant, no complimentary breakfast and no mention of restaurant renovations when we booked. Very inconvenient for team functions with no restaurant. Bathroom fan cover looked like it had not been cleaned since it was new. Not an extra roll of toilet paper or facial tissue in the room. No conference room for team events.

Very good service would gladly stay at this location again on my next travel through. The place was clean and inviting with soothing music in the lobby area, location wise is good as it is near the outskirts of the town.

We felt lucky enough to receive the penthouse suite. Boy were we wrong. Felt like the train was coming right through our room. If you stay here, ask for a room far from the tracks. Clean and comfy room and no quarters for a train vibrating bed.

It was okay - hotel is clean; bed is comfortable; no frills - awkward access on / off highway. No breakfast option. There is coffee available downstairs in morning. Restaurants are a bit of a hike and you have to play frogger to cross the highway to get to some of them.

Again, it seems to me-"staff shortages" are being used as an excuse to not provide services. But, hotel owners are still ensuring full rates charged. We asked for housekeeping service every 2 days, reasonable and only received it once over a 5 night stay. but still ok to charge full whack....your shooting yourself in the foot people.

This stay was booked well in advance to a pet friendly room. I called several time the day before and day of to ensure check in would be possible at 4pm. I get there and check in all good. Go grab my stuff and the clerk says I have to wait 45 minutes. I said excuse me? Starving and road tired....then the clerk booked me into someone else's room........ya no DO NOT RECOMMEND. the bed better be comfy Thats all I can say.

3 night stay , room was nice comfortable beds , carpet under window had stains , A\\C leaked and carpet was very wet , not a typical BW , needs work .There is a restaurant at front entry called Ella's , excellent for dinner and breakfast .Did not notice highway road noise ever . Pool was clean , no issues at all , slide was open . People at front desk were hospitable and nice , always hot coffee and cold water available . I will recommend but it will need updates sooner than later .

Hotel location and bed comfort was great. Everything else was sub-par. Our toilet was clogged upon arriving at the hotel. We asked the front desk to fix it while we were out for the day. When we returned 8 hours later, they had not unclogged it. So we asked again and they offered us a plunger, sarcastically remarking "happy plunging!" (of someone else's clog!). Next we figured we'd go for a swim and waterside with the family. After making our way through the gauntlet of housekeeping carts (which are stored in the 1st Floor hallway), we arrived at the pool. We were greeted with a sign on the door saying the pool was normal and safe to swim in – that's odd to have such a sign. However, when we opened the door, the pool water was dark green and full of algae. The slide was also out of service, not that we would have used it with the water quality. Seriously looked like an abandoned pool. I understand things happen, and water pumps break, but address properly with your guests – don't just put up a paper sign saying everything is OK. An overall disappointing stay. I would not recommend this hotel until they make some improvements. The location is great, but the service and amenities just were seriously lacking.

AC not set on arrival during a heatwave. No EV charging unlike other BW, Fridge barely worked. Unlike other BW not a real breakfast offered but a cellophane muffin & juice box. Towels are smaller than other BW

We wished to visit Fort Steele and decided to stay in Cranbrook at the Best Western. Checkin was quick and easy. The hotel was clean and comfortable with a nice bathroom and decent beds. I'm not keen on its location on the “main drag” but it seems most Cranbrook hotels are on this highway.

Travelling back home with family and the 2 bedroom suite was perfect for us with comfy beds and lots of room. Lovely comfortable suite with large tvs for everyone to stay entertained and 2 bathrooms! Close to restaurants and shopping as well. Great recommendation from front desk on a breakfast spot as well

Every time we stay at this particular in Cranbrook we ask for a room on the the top floor away from the train track. Every time we go to check in we are told that it all comes down to availability. We were place about 250 feet from the train track. I booked well enough in advance and I pre registered first thing in the morning when I got the email. This is the only hotel that refuses to acknowledge our request. As a result of this past stay we will take Marriot or Wyndham over Best Western from now on. They always just keep apologizing but never change which is evident when reading the reviews

In for one night on my way thought for business. Had a problem with my work laptop but was able to use the business center computer with no issues. room was clean and lived up to the Best Western Standards. Staff was friendly and ready to help with any questions or directions around town. had a comfortable sleep Thanks

My husband was on his annual CAT skiing trip in Canada when he fell and hit a tree with his head. Flew up to join our daughters while he was hospitalized with severe head trauma.. No recollection of where he was or what happened.. When he was eventually dismissed from the hospital with severe nausea, headaches, double vision, etc. - he joined us at the Best Western. We had no idea how long we would be there. Both Crystal - the Hotel Manager and Warren, her assistant manager, made certain we had a room on the first floor, easily accessible from the parking lot, etc. They were beyond sensitive to our families' situation and took as much pressure off us as possible. I have personally worked as a Winter Concierge in Deer Valley, Utah at one of the finest properties there. This staff could provide their own level of Forbes training. FABULOUS in every way. Thanks to everyone again for their amazing attitude and service!

My family and I drove 4 hours to get away and take some time together. We thought it would be nice to go for a drive, stop at interesting areas then stay at a hotel with a pool and play some games in the room etc. When we checked in we then realized there must have been a hockey tournament or something going on because there were kids all down the hallway playing floor hockey and running around making noise as kids do. No big deal really unless you want to get some SLEEP. Bottom line is, I wouldn't have booked at this hotel if I had known about the tournament and would have went somewhere else. On top of that, the website says they have a pool but it isn't deep at all, up to my 11 year old son's waist to be exact. So mainly used for the water slide, Not swimming. Also, thought there might be a hot tub but there wasn't. Staff started knocking on doors at 8am yelling “House Keeping” even though check out was at 11am. $251.71 for a sleepless night and early morning when you were eventually sleeping. Not at all worth it. Check with the hotel before you book!

Room was cold when I checked in Thermostat was turned off There was warm water the evening I checked in and no hot water the morning I checked out The only response was Sorry we're working on it The overall conditions of the hotel were average

The staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurants were excellent. Rooms were spacious with Wifi so I could combine business with a family vacation. I was able to attend meetings while my husband enjoyed the services of the hotel.

Would recommend the Best Western in Cranbrook to anyone. Great staff and the room was very comfortable. The restaurant is fantastic and has the best staff. I also love their Christmas decor in the lobby.

One of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in. Quiet location, great convenience to walk to shops. The elevator was out of service but the kind check in staff offered to carry my bags to the upper floor. She was much younger than I so I graciously accepted her assistance. Well done BW!!

The best part of the hotel was the pool and waterslide. The room was typical Best Western room — which we expected. While there was no complimentary breakfast offered due to Covid, the front desk did have muffins and juice each day we were there available in the morning. The hotel is in a good location close to restaurants.

We were simply driving through and decided that the BW was our best option, It was raining when we drove in and the hotel had not adjusted the AC so it was cold in the lobby area which is why we opted for dinner across the street instead of the hotel restaurant. The rooms are what you would expect in a BW, hotel could use a little updating.

we had a very comfortable king size bed in a huge room with kitchenette. The front desk people were very nice and accommodating. The last day of our stay it suddenly rained and we had to change our plans. The front desk person allowed us to use the swimming pool till 12 and gave us free late check out so were able to leave once the rain stopped.

We had travelled all day and were looking for a good meal and a rest when we arrived. We were first told upon arrival that the elevator was broken and we could not be moved from our second floor room. We had four heavy boxes plus our luggage and dog to transport up the stairs. As seniors, one might have expected to be offered assistance. No. We asked and eventually someone showed up to help with the final box. Next we were told that the onsite restaurant was closed and had been for several days. Instead of an easy meal at the hotel, we had to go through the hassle of finding a restaurant, ordering and picking up the meal. I know that this is not a great inconvenience, but balancing the cost of the hotel and the poor response by the staff, I would not risk booking this hotel in the future.

When our truck broke down on Bowser Flats, and we called around to hotels in Cranbrook, the Best Western front desk person was super kind and helpful. She made the experience and was one of the reasons for us to stay there. Great customer care. And she was flexible given we had no idea of our timing as we waited for the tow truck. The front desk whenwe checks in was great as well. We were able to store our tent trailer unsure of what our situation looked like with our truck. Hotel was clean and good location. Thanks!

I am a best western diamond rewards member so prefer to stay at their properties. For some reason I was booked at the prestige inn which is a partner property, but not a Best Western property. The front desk said that happens often. Why is it that a known issue like that isnt resolved? Because of the transfer I had to pay more as it was a last min booking. The breakfast service was VERY slow and the food portions were small. The pancakes were very good though.

We came to Cranbrook Best Western after being evacuated from our campsite due to a forest fire! Appreciated the ease of checking in with no reservation. Nice to have a good place to stay and the kids loved the pool and the slide. Would choose this hotel if staying in Cranbrook again.

Best Western Cranbrook Hotel Cranbrook Not what it used to be! 791895196 This used to be one of the best hotels on the strip, especially for value. Not so anymore. 'Way too expensive for what is offered. Front desk didn't recognize long time BW customer and acted as if I was interrupting her. Don't think I'll stay there again for the money!

Very clean place and friendly staff, wifi very very slow, was not offered complimentary breakfast, in early mornings staff in some occasions were not present at front desk, should be a service bell at front desk to alert desk clerk overall stay was adequate, need to speed up WIFI , bed was hard and hard to get a good night sleep, very nice place to stay, very spacious room

Friendly service. Large parking lot for larger size trucks. Spacious modern comfortable room bed & bathroom. Pool & waterside looked like fun. Small fitness room & mini arcade room. Ice & vending machines on two floors. Tasty Jamaican style restaraunt inside the hotel.

Very clean, quiet, easy check in, pool was open, bed was great, good location, Ella Restaurant on site for Jamican Food and breakfast, lots of parking space, staff was great and courteous, would definetly stay here again

We always stay at this hotel when coming to Cranbrook to visit family. We love the rooms as they are quiet, clean, and the beds are so comfortable. Front desk staff are professional, kind, and very accommodating. We're looking forward to our weekend visit again in the summer time.

The staff was phenomenal, and the room was spotless. I required an extra early check in and late check out. They were able to accommodate me without hesitation, and had everything ready for a speedy check in as they knew I was coming in off a nightshift. Definitely will be returning.

We had to stay overnight due to a medical emergency and the staff was very accommodating. The Jamaican restaurant was a nice change from typical food. The only comment is the railway tracks run right beside the building.

Was a nice quiet stayed during the pandemic. Restaurant was open everyone appeared to be socially distanced. Seamless check in and check out service. Bed was a little bagged out and the pillows were extremely high making an uncomfortable sleep.

Very Clean and friendly staff. Best Western always treats me well every time I stay at BW hotel. This BW in Cranbrook is nice hotel near all amenities, including restaurants and gas stations, super markets. The trains near by might wake you up but I am a early riser anyways.

Great staff welcome, lovely room, open fitness facilities and amazing on site restaurant! The staff went above and beyond to ensure i was comfortable and felt welcome and appreciated! This was especially appreciated as an essential health care worker.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here on a Friday night in early November. The hotel was well prepared for Covid-19 precautions. Our room was clean and spacious. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is within walking distance to Allegra Restaurant, which is excellent.

This location has used COVID to fall behind on cleanliness and repairs. Traveling with a service dog they placed me in a pet room, that's fine but there were several soil stains from previous guests as they put you on an upper floor farthest away from any exit. Called front desk to ask why fridge wasn't cooling and was told that's as good as they get..... “Sorry”. There were less than 8 cars in the parking lot and this is the best they could do on a Friday night, Pathetic!! Save your money and chose any other location in town.

First time at this location for business the staff are friendly as heck. The hotel is central. The internet for me didn't work as the work computer didn't like expired certificates but it worked fine on my Apple devices. The room was clean I also wipe down every thing and couldn't find anything in the high touch areas

Medium range hotel, clean with a comfortable bed. Not sure why they are priced so high. We have stayed at many Best Westerns and this price was high and the dog charge was the highest that we paid for our entire trip.

First off the price was high and no breakfast. I am planning a build in Cranbrook and will make sure we find a better place. The staff were great but their fault. Boo to the high prices. Rooms were clean and good covid practices . Just no BW breakfast

The Best Western in Cranbrook is in an excellent location, the Staff have a very positive attitude (especially given the Covid-19 challenges). Rooms are always clean and parking is well lit (multiple lighting) for safety. I always stay at the BW Cranbrook as their service is consistently excellent.

All provincial health regulations were followed. I felt safe in this hotel. Masks were generally worn by all the guests and hotel staff. Room was comfortable and of a good size (I was travelling alone). Rooms were very clean and one could tell that great care had been taken to safeguard ones health during this pandemic. My only gripe would be that for one night the cost was $208. Seems a little excessive for this type of hotel, and the city its located in.

We were just there for only one night on our way to Osoyoos, but it was a pleasant stay. Nice size room, window view was commercial with mountains on the horizon. Super comfy bed. The bathroom was split with toilet and shower separated from the sink with a door ... a nice feature. Large TV, and lots of channel choices. We had a kitchenette with sink, microwave and a small wine cooler fridge, which was cool, but not really cold enough for perishable food, so we kept ours in our travel cooler with ice. I also found it was smaller than other BW hotels, and no freezer, but it would accommodate a bottle or two of wine, a few cans of beer and soda, and some food items not needing to be really cold. We would stay there again.

Terrible stay, Drains did not work properly. The tv was mounted in a very awkward position with the walll mount locked so we couldn't use it probably. I request a king room to have a kitchen space and the suit didn't even have a proper mini fridge. I don't recommend. All amenities were closed (which is understandable) but no discount was given because of the inconvenience.

Well managed with great location. Rooms are extremely quiet. Bedding and pillows were tops. Staff very friendly and the decor was modern. The manager was so helpful. The only reason I did not rate this hotel higher was that the slide and pool were closed because of the corona virus. The hotel is just off the highway running through Cranbrook with easy access to restaurants etc. There was no highway noise at all. I plan to go back there whenever in that area. We made the trip to Cranbrook as a little outing for our 30th anniversary. It was not like it would have been a few months ago. The room was immaculate, everything was quiet and pleasant. Because of the circumstances in was interesting getting food but otherwise a good experience.

Came out of retirement to assist in a care facility due to covid virus. Was treated extremely well. Leanne, the hotel manager was/is awesome. Friendly, professional person. Anything we needed, she provided. Cleaning staff amazing too. Rooms very clean.

We stayed at the Best Western Cranbrook with our hockey team and couldn't have picked a better hotel! Dee, Leanne and the other staff went above and beyond for our team during our stay and very much appreciated everything they did for us. The rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable and the boys LOVED the games area and pool. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Cranbrook area, we will definitely be back :-)

Great friendly and accommodating Staff (from reservation to check-out).. Call the hotel directly to book for a much better Guest Experience (call centre not as accommodating). Nice facility with Breakfast included. As good as any big city hotel. This hotel represents the brand very well. Internet was a little spotty, but that was the only issue we had. I would recommend this hotel to anyone in the area.

Neighbors smoked dope in room and we asked to have them be quiet3 times with no results. Were awake til after 230 a.m. hotel should have removed them for smoking and noise complaints several times in hotel

We love staying here when we come to Cranbrook. The rooms and clean and comfortable and the staff is top notch and concerned to make your stay a pleasure. The hotel is close to everything and parking is easy.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and every time has been a nice experience. The front desk staff is always helpful and pleasant. The in house restaurant has changed a few times but has always been very high quality with interesting food. It seems that whoever chooses the restaurant to lease to cares about the food that is served here. For walking the location is not ideal but it is fairly central. However, for driving it is perfectly central. This location is a cut above the average Best Western type hotels.

It's a clean and modern hotel. Check in was friendly and professional. The check in clerk gave us some suggestions for dinner, including a 15% discount for the local East Side Marios. It is pricey, and there is no complimentary breakfast. The on-site cafe is basic, and also pricey. We have to return to Cranbrook later this month, and we will stay here again, entirely due to our membership in the BW Rewards programme.

Spacious, clean room and we liked the large fenced area so our young dog could run and play. However, the $35 pet fee was the highest we have every paid. There was no breakfast included, yet, the total bill was almost double the cost for previous night accommodation, with breakfast, at Comfort Inn in Medicine Hat. Three subsequent stays at LaQuinta hotels were also very reasonably priced.

I usually stay at other hotels in the area. I arrived around 7:30, Dec 29. I had a work seminar that day and stayed there with my wife. I asked for a corporate rate.... it was not very good compared to the other hotels in the area. I could have stayed down the road for about $30.00 cheaper and with the same amenities. A much better corporate rate

Skip the breakfast - at this BW it is not free as it is with all others I have stayed at in the last 10-15 yrs. I was disappointed and usually have only juice and toast for breakfast. Room was quiet. Initially had to turn the heat up but then it warmed quickly and turned it down (thermostat worked which is good).

We were in Cranbrook for a hockey tournament, first of the season, which is an important time for the team to bond and have fun outside of hockey. The staff was great and the hotel didn't keep reminding us that we would be kicked out if we were too loud...which we never were. Thanks Best Western.

The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, and the physical plant is well maintained and the whole hotel feels safe, secure and comfortable. I especially like that the room temperatures are not set too high!

Our sons hockey team had a tournament in Cranbrook and we had 15 families stay at the Cranbrook Best Western. They provided great service all weekend. Our rooms were booked next to each other to minimize hall travel, they set up theirs conference room for a team dinner(takeout) and the kids loved the pool and water slide!

As soon as you walk in you are greated with a smile and exceptional friendly service from the reception. The place is clean and tidy, the rooms are quiet and spacious. The beds are the best beds I've ever slept in. I work around all of the Kootenays and get to stay in a lot of hotels. Bestwestern in Cranbrook is my favorite.

to expensive for the room you get, every other hotel offers breakfast with the room, not here have to pay extra at the cafe in the lobby. needs to increase the number of plugs in the room for charging points.

We use this hotel as a halfway stop to Nelson. Always clean, beds and pillows are so comfy. No breakfast buffet here but there are many good restaurants in cranbrook. Lots of things to do in cranbrook and surrounding area. You will enjoy your stay here.

Nice hotel. Didn't use amenities but the rooms were lovely. Particularly impressed with the heat / air control - quietly keeps your room exactly the temperature you set it at and windows open a little as well if you want.

Stayed here for 5 nights in July in a Standard Studio 1 King bed room on ground floor. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had a mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave and basic kitchen amenities (plates, cutlery etc) which was handy for making own breakfast and lunch. The check in and out were good, the staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay, including giving us a late check out. The room was close to the pool which is where a very loud kids' game is also located - not a big deal, but was annoying at times as the kids were at it all afternoon and evening, non-stop… We also found the walls to be paper-thin. It may have been due to the fact that we were in an adjoining room, i.e. with a door to room next to us. Made it super noisy at times, we literally could hear other guests' conversations as clearly as if they were in our room. It was awkward, but thankfully the neighbours didn't keep us awake at night etc. Location was ok. It is right off the main highway, but at least 10-15 minute walk each way to the town centre. There are some restaurants, takeout places and coffee shops nearby, i.e. very nice bakery less than 3 minutes walk from the hotel, and a Starbucks not far from it, which makes it a very convenient location for a short stay. There are some nicer restaurants in town centre which we quite enjoyed, but you need to drive or go for a bit of a walk to get there. The hotel actually has an in-house cafe which we didn't get to try, but looked nice. It closes early in the afternoon (2 PM I believe) and offers breakfast and lunch (some hot breakfast options, but pastries etc only for lunch). I also used their business centre for half a day and it was convenient, even though it's only a small “hole in the wall”, not very private, i.e. doesn't have a door. But, overall, the business/work amenities were sufficient for my needs. All in all we quite enjoyed our stay here and would return if in the area. Perhaps ask for a quiet room away from the pool, if worried about the noise, and prepare to walk or drive to the town centre to try some of the better Cranbrook restaurants (and there are a few, it's a charming town!).

Just stayed for the weekend. Stayed in one of the suites with the kitchenette. The room was very spacious, clean, the beds were comfortable, the shower was lovely and the hotel was very quiet. There is no breakfast included with your stay, but there is a small cafe off the lobby that has a nice breakfast if you're so inclined. Would stay here again.

Clean, modern and a good deal for the money. Close to restaurants and other amenities. Business trip so no use of pool or weight room all though those were available. Pretty decent wifi and very polite and efficient staff who ran a tight ship!

Hotel on main drag, conveniently located, lots of free parking. Rooms are a decent size, clean, and bed was very comfortable. Kids loved the pool and slide. Only complaint is that the hotel is a bit pricey for what you get, and there is no breakfast included. Onsite restaurant has limited choices and also is a little overpriced.

Everything is ok really but it just lacks that sparkle that sets it above others. The staff are really good and helpful and the rooms are clean. It's not bad it's just forgettable I can see in a week or so we'll say “ yes we stayed at Cranbrook in some hotel “ . Shame really.

Pros: Comfortable, reasonably nice rooms - waterslide was fun (not for littles though) - cafe offered decent selection - easy access location. Cons: No complimentary breakfast here - high price for the quality -several random bugs/spiders in our room - neighboring rooms door slamming was quite loud, door design issue, not the patrons fault. Cons weren't anything I would complain to the front desk about, and we were satisfied with our stay overall, but I'll probably try a different hotel next time through.

We were travelling to the Okanagan BC and on our way. Our first stop was at the BW Hotel in Cranbrook, BC. It was late at night and we were lucky because they had one room left, the room was very nice and the staff there was very friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

Good past experience here in Cranbrook overall a few years ago. The water slide is great in this hotel, and the rooms are really modern, and clean. Even know the buffet is a little small this hotel has provided me with a good experience in Cranbrook

Have stayed at many best western hotels, I'm a platinum member but this particular location should be avoided at all costs. Poor customer service and significantly overpriced for the accommodation offered.

Helpful staff, great room , warm good pool, very clean. Lots of information about the area. Staff got taxis when needed. Good coffee machine, shower very good, choice of bath or shower. Plenty of storage.

This is a great place to stay. Friendly staff, clean rooms, very comfortable beds. The location is a bit to the east if the main street of Cranbrook, but everything is still in easy access. I'm on the road a lot and staying here is one of my favorite sleeping spots.

I've stayed at many, many BW's. I'm a platinum member, but this stay was disappointing. My buddy and I were motorcycling across the USA and return. We checked in and found the rate higher than any we had stayed at previously on our trip. They all included breakfast, this one did not. After we checked in and 1/2 of the bill plus incidentals was put on a hold on our credit card, we went out for dinner. In discussion over dinner we realized that my buddy had already paid for the room in full. When we returned to the hotel, we thought they might flag us down and advise they had made a mistake and all was good, checked the room in case they had left a message. No message! We had to bring it to their attention, and we were told the hold of funds would take up to 5 business days to be negated. No incentives were offered for the mistake, the attitude was “Oh Well”! When I checked out I brought it to the attention of the day desk Manager, who explained it away as a trainee. The Trainer, in my opinion should have used the mistake as a teaching moment and a way to make the customer feel better by offering an incentive of some kind, discount on the room, free breakfast, extra points, anything. I also advised them there was water damage and mould around the top of the shower enclosure and green mould under the lip of the sink. Not a pleasant experience for the price of the room.

Cannot beat this hotel for the staff that care about you as well as the care that goes into the maintaining of the high standard that the staff present. This standard that they achieve here surpass many that claim to be international 5 star hotels. This is a one of a kind that reach and surpass all expectations that is required of them and still find the time to beat that standard. If you need to srtop in Cranbrook then there is no other place to stay. .Pity they are not in any other towns I visit.

This hotel is located at the edge of town, right on the highway and close to restaurants and the mall. Front desk will direct you to local restaurants depending on your tastes. Pool has a waterslide to keep the kids busy. Clean hotel, comfortable bed, large rooms.

First - the hotel is clean. This is one of the most important things. They do place things such as towels in awkward positions. You have to reach under the sink to get to your towels. Not the greatest place especially if you have mobility issues. This hotel does not offer breakfast as part of your stay. They have a “cafe” in which you can order breakfast. I don't understand why they would do this as most other hotels in the area do include a breakfast. As a Diamond Select member I would have also expected that they would have upgraded the room. This was not the case. Now let's get to the things they need to address. 1) the pool was apparently not working correctly. They placed a sign on the door. You can use the pool, but the heater is not working so it may be cool. 2) there is a back patio area. There is another sign on the back door - this door lock is broken. Please put the stopper in the door to not be locked out. 3) they have a pinball machine - yet another sign. This machine does not keep score, but you can play anyway if that does not bother you. I would remove the signs and fix the problem. Why have a broken pinball machine? Just remove it. Fix the door. Fix the pool. They also had someone smoking on the second floor for at least 2 days. It did not seem like they were in a hurry to solve this either.

Two nights in Cranbrook for a mid week golf getaway provided us with a pleasant surprise in the quality of the hotel we chose. We had a similar visit a few years ago, that being prior to the construction of the facility we just stayed at this year. The change was definitely an upgrade in the quality of the facility we chose (both being Best Westerns). We chose to book everything ourselves rather that go with a golf package, allowing us opportunity to set our own parameters of timing and location for our golf games. That choice was a good one. The surprise was the quality of the Best Western from the one we stayed at a few short years ago. A significant upgrade for sure. Location was excellent and the facility was clean, neat and complete. The room was very complete, clean and well appointed. Staff were very pleasant, helpful and professional. We would recommend this Best Western to anyone who might visit Cranbrook.

Clean. Comfortable. Pool was fun for the kids with a waterslide. I just wish they had a breakfast included like most other best westerns we've stayed at in other cities. The airconditioning rattled all night. The next night we figured out it was the flap you open to turn the fan to low or high, so we propped it open and slept a whole lot better.

Pros- Motel is on the main street in Cranbrook right by the train tracks. That is why we booked -it trains are music to my husbands ears! But we did not hear it in the night, must have good soundproofing. Several dinner choices in walking distance. Con - There is NO free breakfast offered here as with all other BW we have stayed in. There was a cafe in the lobby and we did eat there. It was fine.

I stayed at this hotel for two days and the staff were extremely personable and friendly. The rooms were nice, the bathtub was just right to soak away the day. The only thing I think I missed, was having a microwave in the room. Was nice and quiet even though it was on the main drag.

Very comfortable place to stay with cheerful staff and great breakfast at the The Roots cafe. Staff will always great you with a smile and are very attentive. Overall the place is clean and tidy, but better kept than most hotels. Highly recommended.

The staff are very friendy and helpfull. Even through there were hockey teams in the hotel, they reserved to top floor for guest like myself so there were no noise or interuptions. i would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a goood place to stay.

Despite the fact that there was 3 sports teams staying at the hotel. The noise and disruption was so well managed it did not effect the perfect quiet night sleep I received . Well done this was awesome !

I stayed here due to an early morning flight. The front desk service was excellent. Really friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable with cozy linens and lots of pillows. Decor is simple. Will stay again.

The bed was firm, the room was clean, and the staff were friendly. Next time I am in Cranbrook I will definitely be staying here. Outside of not having a lounge on site and a whirlpool this place was great. The hockey team and families enjoyed every minute.

Friendly service, clean entrance and a fun water slide for the kids. We stayed in the 2 room king suite. It fit our needs perfectly. It was actually my daughters choice for her birthday and she loved it. I was just a bit disappointed they didn't have a hot tub or breakfast included. I would recommend this hotel in the future though:)

We checked in early evening, with a brand new puppy! The front desk staff were so kind and encouraging, very friendly. It is nice, they have a little fenced in area for pets. The rooms are comfortable, nice bathrooms and very clean. The pool area is bright and they have a SUPER FAST SLIDE! Great stay... we were there just for the night. I should mention that the hotel is in a GREAT location!

I was a late walk-in on a business trip and the Best Western in Cranbrook BC made me feel right at home. its a modern facility with extremely helpful staff. I asked about late checkout and was informed that I was eligible due to membership status. Even after checkout I was made welcome to hang in the lobby with my bags in the backroom till ready to leave. p.s. this is a very quiet place.

Great place, very clean with helpful staff. Will stay there again. Very good breakfast place in the hotel and an awesome pizza/greek joint across the street. I stay in hotels all the time and can honestly say this is one of the best in the East Kootenays.

While I was impressed to see an improvement in the service provided by the front desk staff since my last visit, I was not impressed to have dog feces in my room. Had they advertised that they're 'pet friendly', I may have requested a room with that was pet free. When I brought it down to the front desk, the two fellows working there expressed embarrassment and offered me a new room. Yes, this is ok, but why the room wasn't vacuumed in the first place is more concerning. It wasn't hiding under the desk, it was out in the open. Not ok....

Extremely friendly staff and community. Excellent accommodations and view of mountains.Restaurant close by was very good and again very friendly staff. We selected this hotel online and we were very pleased with our choice!

Our second visit to this hotel was less impressive than the first. On the current visit, the one-bedroom suite assigned to us was only on the second floor, despite the high floor request. The front desk agent didn't seem interested in accommodating a higher floor request despite the hotel not looking very full - we know there are only x-number of these suites in the hotel. The main issue was that the lower floor also seemed to come along with road noise which bothered us at night. Also, on our first visit, the one-bedroom suite we got was on the 4th floor, was more spacious, had an extra half-bath, and was quieter - we didn't know if this had been an upgrade from the regular one-bedroom or not. Also, for the price of the room, that the breakfast is not included is a negative value for us - we walked down street to Starbucks instead. Also, without a hot tub, the pool experience is a bit lacking for us. We did appreciate the good selection of TV stations, included the neutral Frame Channel and Music Channels. The design layout of the bathroom (with a separated sink) is really good for two people getting ready at the same time. The water pressure in the shower was very strong - we can't remember getting so much water in any other hotels. We may stay again sometime, but we hope future requests, if we do, are at least acknowledged.

Large, clean rooms for families, pool with water slide, cafe on site, and friendly staff. We enjoyed a long weekend here and explored the town and nearby Kimberley. Only recommendation is that we would have loved a hot tub as extended pool time gets a little chilly. Great base and location close to downtown, movies, activities.

We all want to go where everybody knows your name. I walk into the lobby of the Bestwestern Cranbrook BC and they greet me by name. Such a great feeling to be recognized! My hats off to the staff there!

We had no reservation, arrived early and were accommodated by an extraordinarily helpful front desk clerk. As we are seniors, she was able to provide a ground floor room, as well as lots of information about the community. The room was large, modern, comfortable, and had windows that opened, and air-conditioning that could actually be controlled. Recommended!

This hotel was comfortable and clean. The staff was excellent and friendly. We had a suite room and was surprised on how spacious the room was! Loved the view from our window too! Close to restaurants and shopping. Would stay again!

Stayed here for one night... room rates are shockingly expensive at $175/per night. Check your alarm clock to ensure it's turned off... ours rang at midnight. Bathrooms need to be updated. Not worth the value.

I would highly recommend staying here. The ladies at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. It's hard to find a comfortable room with three kids, but we were very happy. Our room was beautiful, clean and we had a mountain view!!

Our road trip is back in Canada. This is the stop over en route from Montana to Vancouver. The hotel is on the main approach to Cranbrook and is straightforward to find. There is plenty of room in the car park and the staff conducted the arrival in a speedy efficient fashion while still managing to be friendly. The room is a standard size and it is neat tidy and very clean. There are a number eating places close by and the town centre is about a five minute drive. This is a very good place to stay and I find it a little odd that the hotel's listing is so far down from the top of the Tripadvisor page for Cranbrook hotels.

Nice Hotel in the heart of the town. Very clean, comfortable rooms and friendly, helpful staff made for efficient check-in and check-out. Plenty of parking except if your pulling a small trailer. The only problem was other guests blocking you in but this can't be blamed on the Hotel. I think the only disappointing part was the on-site Cafe. The service was very slow and the prices were quite high for the quality of food. I'm sure my wife and I will stay here again but we will eat at one of the many restaurants for Breakfast in town.

Nice hotel, clean, newer furnishings. Rooms are comfortable. Be warned though, you only have a wine cooler in the room not an actual fridge as I was told on booking. The wine cooler did not keep my husband's medication cool enough and wasn't cold enough to keep water or milk cold for drinking. The cleaning staff also often forgot to refill the towels, cups, and coffee supplies to full and we had to go get more from the from desk which is not convenient.

Stayed July 4th for one night, Clean, good looking hotel, staff was very friendly and efficient. Coincidentally my wife has the same name as the front desk clerk. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. Pool had a fun slide for the kids. Good internet. Would definitely stay again and would recommend.

Stayed here on 2 occasions as I travelled BC. Great rooms and service. Staff very friendly. Its a little pricier than other locations. Only negative was no complimentary breakfast. They do have a small cafe on location that provides it for a fee. Found the price high for the quality. I would go out to another local establishment. Its not only cheaper but better quality. I was talking to another guest who did just that and the price and quality of food was amazing compared to the onsite restaurant according to them. Can't remember what the name of the restaurant was. Otherwise very good!

Staying at many Best Westerns, I used my points for this location and expected something very basic. Instead, the room was beautiful, with a wonderful shower and very comfortable bed. I was very pleased!

I travel frequently for business and whenever possible stay at a Best Western property. Those many visits see me holding a Diamond select rewards card. The Best Western Cranbrook hotel is one of the very best of the dozens I have stayed in. First and foremost is the management and staff. They are courteous, efficent, helpful and make my arrival for check in a very pleasant experience. Reservations are always correct and any request a guest may have, as has been my experience, will be handled as precedes each and every time. The housekeeping is above average , the rooms are well maintained and very comfortable. There is a small restaurant attached that offers an excellent breakfast menu. The hotel has plenty of parking and dedicated stalls for two wheel travelers. There are a number of restaurants within easy walking distance. I recommend this property to all who respect good value and very good service. Terry Hayman

This hotel feels very spacious due to wide hallways and high ceilings, and yet is cozy as well because of the nice decor. All the staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful. We were very impressed with the huge 1 bedroom suite: the fittings and furnishings were high spec and contemporary, and immaculately clean. It had a very functional kitchenette, with dishes, etc. Plus, this suite has a bath AND a half bath too, the ultimate of luxury when two are travelling. The selection of TV stations was excellent, especially The Frame and the Sting Ray / Galaxy music channels. We enjoyed the large pool, which offered a good depth of 1.4 m's, and had nice water temperature. The lobby entry outside was nicely decorated with summer flowers. Even without a hot tub at the hotel and no free breakfast, we will be back.

This is not the Best Western value I have come to know and love. Room rates are high but I guess the local market allows it to be that way. I stay in BW because the product is usually consistent, such as friendly staff, clean rooms, access to reliable WiFi, ample and free parking, and usually a hot breakfast. No free breakfast here. They did deliver on the rest, however. The room was great and the bed was comfortable. The other annoyances in my room were taken care of immediately. However, I recommend if you need a good room for the same price and can drive another 45 minutes go to the BW in Fernie, just up the road. The price per night is about the same or less and they have everything else - but most of all they have a mountain view that is wonderful.

Stayed at this hotel for a recent day procedure at the Cranbrook hospital. Hotel offers a really good hospital rate. Check in and check out were great. Room could have been a little bit cleaner .I think they forgot to clean the bathroom floor. Kind of questionable.

This was a great hotel for our team. Nicole on the front desk was outstanding, helpful and great personality for dealing with parents and teens. Large clean rooms, evident that staff put much effort into keeping this hotel in clean/tidy condition. Outdoor patio was much appreciated, teens had fun on water slide. Good location to fast food/restaurants/mall/arenas. Would recommend this hotel.

My stays at Best Western hotels have been consistently pleasant. At this particular Best Western my room was large, bed was comfortable (I love the pillows) and the staff were friendly. The only downside is its on a busy highway so it was a bit loud. I would stay here again.

I stayed a couple of nights for business and found that the front desk staff were very pleasant on my arrival. The pool and gym were clean and well taken care of. The hotel is located close to a large amount of places to eat which is very handy as well. I would stay here again for sure.

Cranbrook Best Western Rooms were comfortable and clean. Found the bed and pillows to be comfy. Was disappointed that they did not offer a complimentary breakfast. Otherwise good and friendly service.

The hotels in Cranbrook are all rather expensive - so I chose the Best Western - rooms are fabulous and the staff are all delightful and make your stay a pleasure. I had a room with a kitchen and it was well stocked. The bed was very comfortable. I left in a snowstorm with one highway closed by rockfalls and another closing because of avalanche control- front desk staff went out of their way to research escape routes for me and even printed out a ferry schedule.Worth staying.

We took a long weekend to drive up from the state's to visit Kimberley and Cranbrook BC. The Best Western was very convenient to both. Located on HWY 95 close to resteraunts and downtown shopping. Very friendly staff. Hotel was very clean and quiet.

I was passing through Cranbrook on business and stayed here, I was very impressed with the hotel, and the staff was very friendly and professional. I would recommend staying here when passing through. Lots of good restaurants around (the night I stayed there the restaurant in the hotel was closed)

Great experience at Best Western Cranbrook. Staff were welcoming, facillities were clean, cafe was delicious. Fitness centre has everything you need for a quick workout. Location is easy to find and close to other ammenities in Cranbrook.

We're a family of 4 and were here for a hockey tourney. The rooms are nice and the pool and water slide are perfect. There is no hot tub which we thought was unusual given then mountain setting. We didn't hear any trains in the two nights we were there. The rooms have a small fridge but no microwave. So full points for the faculties and cleanliness. And the service was great. Loss of a point for no hot tub and no microwaves in the room and no breakfast. We would stay here again.

Hotel staff were very accommodating to large group of busy pre-teens for our hockey tournament. They created spaces for them to hang out and have fun without getting into trouble...mini sticks allowed!

I cannot recommend Best Western Cranbrook more. Amazing rooms. Great staff. Clean and welcoming!!! I would stay again without hesitation. If your looking for a family place to go this is the best hotel in town for it. Laundry and arcade areas. And a waterslide hotel. The suite rooms are perfect for any size party. You will not be disappointed!

When I travel for business I look for a room rate that is appropriate for the location, a location that is close to where I am working, clean rooms, a comfortable bed, and decent sized TV. The BW in Cranbrook exceeded expectations.

I was pleased with the rooms appointments and cleanliness. The staff who assisted me with my access to the wifi was very knowledgeable and was able to get me on line with my device, which rarely occurs at other hotels. This was greatly appreciated. The hotel is well placed within the community close to all amenities which are within easy walking distance and includes a pool and gym.

This hotel is in a great location in heart of Cranbrook B.C. close to our favourite sushi restaurant The rooms are super clean and the whole building is well maintained, The staff are courteous, professional and well versed on the point system. This Best Western is dog friendly and hands out a map of local parks for dog walking. The small cafe serves home cooked food. We felt very welcome and comfortable here.

This is a terrific hotel, very clean and with fantastic staff who were very helpful. The room was large, comfortable and quiet. The internet worked very well. There is no free breakfast, but there is a small café that serves meals in the hotel, and other restaurants are close by. For us, the added bonus was that we had enough rewards points so that the room was free! Can't go wrong with Best Westerns rewards program. We visit Cranbrook often, and will definitely stay here again.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times when in Cranbrook. There staff are friendly, welcoming and professional. The rooms are clean and in fine repair. This offers very good value for the money. Highly recommended.

Unlike most Best Westerns this hotel does not offer a complimentary breakfast, despite a winter rate over $150 (not including taxes). We were also denied the team rate, even though we travelled there to watch our daughter's university team. This courtesy has been extended at other hotels (including other Best Westerns). Overall hotel was very average and could probably find one in Cranbrook of better value.

Hotel was excellent, lobby coffee was great. We had breakfast in the hotel and the service, food and price was great for a family - good children's breakfast. Really appreciated the express checkout and the option of room cleaned daily or extra BW points.

A very nice facility with a friendly and accommodating staff. A great indoor swimming pool with a 2 story slide! Nice little restaurant for breakfast. Rooms are large and comfortable. A good location for Cranbrook and surrounding environs.

Breakfast not included and very slow service. We had hockey players going to their first game of a tournament having had nothing to eat. Rooms were fine, very dry though. Lots of amenities near by supplemented.

Cranbrook Best Western is a great, comfortable hotel. Don't expect fast service or any real great service from the very small Cafe in the hotel if there are more than 2 tables in the Cafe. You will have to run out across a very busy street to grab breakfast.

This hotel is good for short stays. Nice staff and very helpful. Clean. There is no restaurant but a cafe, which is open for breakfast and lunch. No hot tub, which was surprising. Pool looked decent. If u stay in a room along the back you will hear the trains, which can be noisy from midnight to early am depending on there schedule. Parking and Wi-Fi decent.

Stayed for one night in late September. Room was clean and in good condition. Hotel seemed close to full but we didn't have any problem with noise. The hotel doesn't provide free breakfast but has a restaurant off the lobby that offers an exceptionally good made-to-order breakfast and to-go lunches. A full breakfast for two is about C$35 but the food and service is excellent.

We were travelling into Canada and decided to stay in Cranbrook for the night. We liked the look of the Motel from the outside, the room was very comfortable and clean and there were plenty of restaurants nearby

Great service and clean rooms. Pool has slides for the kids but no hot tub for the adults. We did not use breakfast facility as we had a large family group so we hit the McD's down the road. This hotel is close to several restaurants just down the street.

Very clean, opted for go green stay, my only concern with that is you don't have a coffee supply and should get a discount, as they didn't have to come into our room to clean or replace anything for 3 days

Stayed one night - was able to get early check in and very friendly front desk clerk. Hotel was modern with a coffee shop inside the hotel. A little outdoor sitting area where we sat, had a beverage and enjoyed the sun for a bit. The hotel is central to a lot of good restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. Would be good for kids as there is a water slide and indoor pool. We will definitely stay again. One bit of feedback-there should be a breakfast bar-most BW's have them.

The staff are friendly and helpful, we've stayed there at least 40 nights over the last three years. They rectify any problems that arise and there has only been one in that time, a great place to stay.

Cranbrook BW staff is amazing, super friendly! They were very accommodating and always had a smile on their faces. The hotel was very clean and modern, with a mini waterpark with pool, gym, and laundry facilities. Will definitely be back!

Good hotel. Nice rooms, comfortable beds. Price was quite high especially as breakfast was not included. The cost was more than I thought was appropriate for a "travelling through location"; not a destination place for most people. On location restaurant was excellent for breakfast (both service and food quality).

We spent 5 days in Cranbrook at this BW. As I indicated to the hotel, their staff need refresher training on Customer service, always very defensive. The beds and pillows are not very comfortable. There is a train track behind the hotel and they run all night long with loud screeching noise. Request a room at the front of hotel if staying. The restaurant is great for breakfast with great service, definetly the best part. There are a good choice of restaurants also within walking distance for dinner.

We had a very pleasant experience at the hotel, especially because the staff were so eager to please and so friendly. They cheerfully made a small repair I needed, brought me extra supplies, cleaned my room on my schedule, and provided excellent local recommendations for visiting and dining. I liked the 24/7 coffee bar in the lobby. For a night owl workaholic, it was perfect!!-

I was driving home from Washington State one evening, and had forgotten how dark the highways can be in the mountains. Coupled with being tired, I decided to pull over for the night and find a place to stay. Looking online for a hotel at 9:30 on a Saturday night, there wasn't much in the way of choice. I decided after going through all the available online options to book here. Ten minutes after I finalized the booking, I walked into the hotel. A very pleasant person named Viola greeted me, and said she had just pulled the reservation off the system. Recognizing my gold status with the BW Rewards plan, she gave me a package of bottled water and chocolate. The check in process was quick, and I was assigned a second floor room. A couple of hiccups happened. After I trudged up to the second floor, the room keys given to me wouldn't open the door. After getting the keys reprogrammed, I was shocked to find after entering my assigned room that the room hadn't been completely serviced by the housekeeping staff. The beds had been stripped and unmade, and full beverage cups were still on the nightstands. Again, I went downstairs, and told Viola what I just came across. Suitably embarrassed, she then upgraded me to a 4th floor suite where I had access to a mid-sized fridge and freezer, which was handy since I had perishables in coolers as I hadn't planned to stop somewhere during the night. The suite was comfortable, clean, and the wifi was fast. I had a very restful night, and got back on the road early the next morning. If I ever need a room in Cranbrook in future, I will first consider here.

Friendly staff, awesome puppy area that was fenced with grass. Nice foyer with leather couches, chairs and a restaurant. Good location, staff very friendly, clean spacious rooms. Our room was a kind deluxe with leather couch and Comfortable bed.

If you are traveling thru Cranbrook i would recommend this hotel for your restful night or two. It is situated of the BC Crowsnest Highway, very easy to find. It has free parking if you are hotel guest, it is biker friendly with few reserved spots just for bikes. Off course there is always someone challenged to read the sign and park his 'mighty' Kia SUV on the reserved spot. But despite this, hotel is very decent, rooms are clean and roomy, if you stay one or two night you can help the environment by opting out to have a room service clean your room so you can reuse towels one more time. For that gesture you can get extra 500 BW points. The breakfast is not included in the room price; it is a hot breakfast you can get for a decent price. It is freshly made, real country breakfast. I do not do lots of field work so usually this type of breakfast will make me go back to bed... Speaking of which, bed is very comfortable, the only problem i had was with pillows, they are too soft for my taste so i ended up having a little pile of pillows to accommodate softness. Hotel has a pool and water slide but i was not having enough time to check it out. Room price is average, and yes you can get close by motels for a price of 59$ Canadian but i think this hotel offer very good value for a price. Any how, for a comfortable 2,3 day stay i would book this hotel again. And for a nice lunch or dinner destinations, there are few places around hotel but i would strongly recommend Frank's steaks and schnitzel place.

Had marked BW on the map and so this was a destination for us. The hotel was lovely and we enjoyed the pool--a bit strong on chlorine, but a huge slide for those young at heart. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and told us we had points we could use, so the stay was basically free. The breakfast in the small restaurant was freshly made and tasty. Great stay. Cute little town.

Would prefer hotel with restaurant/bar as do not like to have to drive to find somewhere for dinner after travelling all day.Must say the breakfast in the "pay" for breakfast room was far superior to the free breakfasts in some BW hotels. They need to up their menu especially in Canadian hotels.

Our room was clean and modern with a very comfortable bed. The hotel staff were friendly and efficient. I would definitely stay here again. The location was also very convenient and you can easily walk to nearby restaurants.

My family and I were recently evacuated from our homes due to wildfire. From the moment we entered the Best Western Hotel, we were taken in like family. Due to the circumstances the manager immediately made policy changes to allow our pets so we weren't separated at such a traumatic time. The hotel was booked full during our stay which meant we would have likely had to move rooms. However, the Best Western made every attempt to juggle rooms around us so we did not have to be uprooted from the only normal we had in our lives. The staff was warm and friendly and always offering to go above and beyond to make us comfortable! It has been 16 days and we still haven't been able to return to our home........but thankfully for the Best Western we are in a place that's the next best thing to being home! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I have stayed at this property for business purposes a couple of times The staff are great, rooms are clean and the place is centrally located. It's an easy walk to the mall/cinema and restaurants. I will try to stay at this location because it's not so close to the train tracks as other properties in town.

This BW is a little dated but clean and not as bad as other places in Cranbrook. If you want a good night sleep this is not the hotel for you. I was woken up no less than 3 times from freight trains passing no more than 30 yards away. I would stay again only if it was in the front of the hotel. There is only one hotel that is not super close to the train tracks in the town. I like BW too bad it's too close to he tracks.

Very easy to locate. Welcoming staff and helpful. The room was very nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioner, however, was very loud. There was only 1 tea bag, though. If you are a coffee drinker, you are in luck. But if you prefer tea, bring your own.

This appears to be a new property and their room charges reflect this. Rates are definitely higher than other properties in Cranbrook but the newness is probably the reason for the higher rates. The issues to be aware of are; They have wine fridges - NOT real fridges in the rooms. Wine fridges do not cool sufficiently and do not have a freezer in them. In this day and age this is insane in a hotel. Especially a hotel that charges a premium. Clearly some out of touch person in Best Western took the cheap route on this. The hotel has a small freezer at the front desk but this is a poor excuse for what should be in each and every room. A REAL FRIDGE with a freezer compartment. There are no microwaves in the rooms. There is only one elevator which can make it busy or time consuming at peak usage times and with housekeeping. Again, the same "genius" at Best Western cheaped out on this. Great staff. Great rooms. Too bad that management let them down with a couple of the small details that would make this a complete excellent hotel. Instead, it leaves a message that we're cheap and we nickle and dime our customers. The elevator is what it is. I can't be changed and is minor. Do the right thing and change out the fridges, add microwaves or reduce your room rates accordingly.

We were visiting as part of our anniversary celebration and our main criteria was a good nights rest. We are both seniors. The room was appointed to suit most needs, and certainly all of ours. The pool area was well stocked with towels and very clean. They even have a water slide for the more adventuresome. My only knock is that this establishment doesn't offer a continental breakfast. They do have an onsite restaurant, and for a price, breakfast can be had. Overall, I would stay again.

We had just come back from a week in the states and were looking for a nice quiet clean hotel for the night and we got all of that! We were quite impressed! It was a little pricy but I'm guessing that's the norm for the area and the time of year!

My wife and I stayed at the BW in Sep/2016. We didn't have a reservation as we had not expected to stay here, but we were welcome accommodated with a smile. The staff even reminded us we could use our Costco card for a % off the price! The room was tidy, clean and very comfortable; with a friendly staff, coffee & muffins available in a cafe near the lobby and free Wifi. We were treated with respect and when we asked for recommendations of where to eat a meal, the staff was very knowledgeable. We recommend this place with a big smile!

My ratings for the hotel probably would have been a 10 but due to to fires in bc we had tried to cancel our trip. We did not want to bring our kids into the smoke. We had tried to cancel our trip at least a week in advance but best western did not allow us to cancel the Cranbrook hotel. we were able to cancel our other place also booked through best western. I did call the Cranbrook hotel directly to see if they could cancel and the man who answered said it could not be canceled. I feel like there should be better policies in place for circumstances like fires that are out of your control. I did try to mention it to the front drsk manager at check in and she didn't even listen to my problem. She laughed and blew it off. Overall this lessened my experience with best western. We usually pick best western for our holidays but this experience was disappointing. We had the choice of loosing $360 or driving into the smoke when I have asthma and 2 small kids. :(. I've never had to cancel a trip before but this was definitly a life lesson on reading the fine print when u book in advance.

Guests are always treated with respect and any problems are dealt with ASAP. We really appreciate that pets are allowed. The outside patio is a nice touch for those of us who want to play badminton or just enjoy the mountain view

We stayed for one night on our way back from wine country with friends. Hotel was very clean and staff were very pleasant. Walking distance to a few restaurants and shopping. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is one of the best in Cranbrook. It is fairly quiet since all the hotel are close to the railway tracks. Access to the main road is easy and there is a large parking lot. The lobby is spacious if you need to wait for some there.

We stopped here for an overnight stay. The hotel room was good but quite expensive. This is the only Best Western that we have been to that did not have a free breakfast. We would have thought that with the pricey hotel room at least breakfast would have been provided.

We stay at this hotel each year mainly because it has a large parking lot and we are pulling a boat trailer. It does have a small pool with a slide mostly for children; I would use a hot tub if they had it. Rooms are average; for the price it should include breakfast.

Greeted with no breakfast and observed unusual relationship between the old breakfast area and the separate "café". We assumed there would be a breakfast included for $200 a night like all of the other Best Westerns.

We stayed here while visiting and sight seeing. The booking by phone went good and the check in was smooth. The room on the third floor was well appointed but we asked for another luggage rack to free up a chair that was being used as one. The refigerator seemed a little on the warm side when set on high so we added some ice to it. A very nice and quite stay enen though the hotel is between major train tracks and a highway. The pillows seemed a bit on the hard side and instead of them all being the same they could have some soft and some harder. The elevator at times has a mind of its own but never kicked out once, The place is pet friendly and maybe next time we will bring the hound. And we will stay here again when we come back. Did I mention nice, quiet, well located.

This hotel is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff went above and beyond, the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable . The food in the restaurant was excellent, even though it was only open for breakfast and lunch.

My wife and I needed a break from RV'ing so booked into the Cranbrook BW with 1 day's advance booking. I think all BW's are dog-friendly but we really felt that Torie, our Sheltie, was welcomed here. We got a ground floor room, was a good double queen room of level we expect from BW. Indoor Pool was just down the hall, with a great waterslide. Though we didn't use them, there's an arcade and exercise gym near the pool. The great part for Torie was an outside patio and huge fenced grass yard at the back of the hotel. Mid-summer but the grass was soft and green, great for throwing a ball for her, with lots of room to run off some energy. Since this was a 30 second walk from our room, we spent some time there, one of us laying on a chaise lounge with the dog, while the other ducked into the pool for a dip. We'd definitely stay here again.

We arrived at this hotel at 8:00 pm without a reservation after driving for about 9 hours, to a warm welcome from the obliging desk. Immediate impression of the spacious room with King size bed, up to date HDTV and an armchair was favourable, and continued favourable as we connected easily to the high speed free internet. Had a great sleep, and would recommend this to any weary traveller.

Excellent service, modern decor. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There is a nice size pool area and fitness center as well as a cafe on site. Restaurants and shopping close by, I highly recommend staying here.

I cannot recall any other Best Western that did not include breakfast with your stay. The pool was very murky and the chemicals were overwhelming. Beds were supposed to be queen but felt more like doubles.

The front desk staff were very helpful and every staff member I was greeted by throughout our stay was very friendly! The bed was beyond comfortable and the room overall was very nice. We only wished we could turn the temp down on the fridge as it didn't keep things super cold but other than that it was awesome. Quiet too!

My wife and I were attending the 90th Tattoo in Kimberley so we stayed 2 nights at this BW. it is convenient to the Hwy and within walking distance of downtown Cranbrook. Our room was clean, quiet and the the bed was comfortable. The staff were invariably pleasant and helpful. We appreciated that we could actually determine if housekeeping was required before the 2nd night. The BW points were a bonus

Stayed here coming home from a bike trip to the states, stay at best westerns all over north America and sadly was let down by this one, no breakfast or coffee, bathroom was disgusting and needing some attention, the rooms next to me were having a party in the hallway outside my room, I asked them several times to take it back to the room they were in, finally at 230 am I opened my door ad told them that the hallway is not a party spot, obviously the night staff does not check the hallways at all.The bright spot is the front desk staff is very friendly and although they did not offer any rebate for my troubles they did offer some extra bonus points. I will say that I did not contact the front desk about the noise as I thought since people causing the noise were adults that they would eventually cut it out, I just can not understand how the night staff did not notice this going on when my room was only 4 down from the front desk. Also everything I put in the fridge was ruined by the morning as it does not get cold enough to put food in.

Ample space in the parking area. The staff at the reception was very efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. The lobby well laid out. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. Sufficient electrical outlets for charging computer, iPads, cell phones, etc. Airconditioning worked well and was quiet.

We were headed back to the states after visiting beautiful Banff National Park. Saw online that this particular Best Western had a 4 star rating so we decided to try it. Our stay was very good. The check-in attendant was very friendly, courteous and checked us in in a timely manner. The room was clean and modern and the beds were comfortable. We checked in really late and left early so we didn't get a chance to use other amenities but I'm sure it was good as the place looked very well maintained. The only thing is breakfast was not included with the rate. I simple continental breakfast would have been nice as they have a cafe in-house.

We were recently stayed at the Cranbrook Bestwestern WOW rooms were clean great location GREAT pool with WATERSLIDE beds were cosy! Check in was easy and they even called us to see if we needed anything We will stay again

We really enjoyed staying here, but avoid the restaurant for breakfast. The staff of the hotel were great and the rooms are very nice. They provided us with materials to clean off our motorcycles. Would stay here again (but eat breakfast elsewhere).

This hotel was amazing and very clean. The pool and waterslide was alot of fun. NO hot tub. The staff were amazing and very helpful. I would go back again when in this area. I would recommend this hotel for cleanliness and comfiness in the rooms.

Admittedly I stay at this hotel while passing through the town on my way to other destinations. I normally stop at Cranbrook without much planning ahead, and I have chosen to stay at the Best Western due to brand recognition. On prior occasions, I had the pleasure of meeting some very service oriented staff who made up for the very old styled hotel. When you settle in, the hotel rooms are equipped with AC units. But they are in desperate need of maintenance. When I attempted to turn the unit on, I needed to call the front desk for instructions. Unfortunately even the staff did not know how to operate the machine, and could only offer to change the room. By that time, I had already settled in and was not prepared to just upend myself once more for potentially the same situation. Once you do figure out how to turn on the machine, the AC unit barely pushes the air, and can hardly condition the air at all. Given I do not visit this hotel often, the same issues come up each time. Clearly, management is in denial or has simply chosen not to deal with the problem. When I walk outside to the parking lot, I can see and hear all of the AC units to the other rooms. They're all mostly in the same weakened state in need of attention. I note that the walls have a hollow quality to them. You can easily hear the footsteps of guests from other floors, which may be disruptive or uncomfortable. The washroom layout was uncomfortable. The shower space and the toilet was crammed into a small room, and provided an almost claustrophobic quality once the door is closed. However, in fairness, the room was very clean, albeit barebones. I also noted that there was a rather large looking waterslide and pool feature to the hotel, but I have never used it. Given that the price of one night is roughly $200, the Best Western Cranbrook is by far one of the most expensive and less valuable hotels to stay. If you are on a road trip adventure you and your family may easily overlook this experience while you head off to new destinations. But there are other options in town that are deserving of your consideration.

A very large room. Would have preferred a larger table/desk since there was so much room. No freezer in the fridge. No continental breakfast, but a nice little restaurant. Clean. Good service. Hate duvets on the beds!!!

It was by far one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Extra clean. Fantastic front desk people, helpful like crazy. I honestly can't say a bad thing about it. Had breakfast in the lobby(extra cost). Get the quesidilla. It was great. You will not be disappointed in this hotel

Good service, tall ceilings throughout, yet average room with cheaper looking bathroom fixtures. King bed was very comfortable. Pool area was nice with shower and change rooms with plenty of towels; no hot tub or hot pool though. Breakfast restaurant had good home style food and is recommended.

This hotel is easy to find on the main highway through Cranbrook. There are lots of restaurants in walking distance. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. But, it was a little high priced for June and there is a train track immediately outside the hotel.

A friend and I were driving a crane truck from Edmonton to Seattle, and spent the night here. First off, staff was very helpful and friendly. It was really nice to have space to park a large vehicle. Lastly, enjoyed a nice omelette for breakfast and chatting with our server, who was from Mexico City. Planning on staying here this coming winter when we are up for skiing!

Best Western hotels are my first choice because I am a Diamond Member and usually collect points, discounts and gift cards that can be applied to more stays. This hotel is a beautiful property with nice rooms, fresh and well appointed. The problem here is two fold. #1 this is the very first BW hotel where breakfast isn't included. They have a small attached breakfast bar inside but charge for everything, very disappointing. #2, not their fault really but a train runs right behind the property so if you are in the back be ready to be rumbled out of bed when ever a train goes by.

We were very impressed with our stay at this Best Western. Took a room with a kitchenette, stocked with dishes, wine glasses, fridge with a freezer, microwave and many other amenities. Comfy beds, quiet rooms.

Very clean hotel; Helpful desk personnel; paid breakfast is a bummer. We were celebrating my birthday and the hotel provided us with a small gift bag with a bottle of wine in it. We did not eat breakfast because it was not free and the selection looked somewhat limited.

All the staff were very friendly, our room was very clean beds were a bit too hard for our family members and the pool could have been warmer. Location of hotel was excellent to gain access to shopping, located along main highway. Stayed while attending the Sam Steele Days in Cranbrook. When you travel you choose a brand that you like. I tour all over North America on a motorcycle for a good portion of the summer. Best Western or Holiday Express are my first 2 choices when looking for a place to stay. I chose BW in Cranbrook but was disappointed as the price was far too high when compared with other BW's and they have NO BREAKFAST in the morning. For LESS money, every BW I choose offers breakfast. This is a huge convenience for people. As well, in this property, they have a coffee shop in the lobby. We walked in at 2:55PM and the lady said they were closing??? Closing at 3:00 pm??? What???. That doesn't even make sense for a hotel lobby...Not a bad property but for the price and value, we'll look elsewhere next time.

Check in staff were extremely courteous, helpful and friendly. Lobby and the hotel in general had a great ambience. The room was spacious, quiet, clean and had a view. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. A short walk to downtown for restaurants and some also over the road. Not the usual Best Western included breakfast but we were given 15% off voucher for breakfast, which we did not use. Really enjoyed staying here for 1 night.

highly recommend this hotel if you are in cranbrook. There are two great places to stay that are pet friendly, and this is one of them. We didn't use the breakfast bar, but the coffee was good. I think they have a short open period, maybe next time.

We stopped over at this hotel as we left Banff and returned to Montana. Very nice hotel and room, courteous staff. Would have preferred to have a continental breakfast included in the room price for greater value.

It is pretty reliable to stay at the BWs. Good location in the commercial highway corridor, with lots of restaurants and walking distance to Eastside Marios which is great. Wonderful bed & pillows. Very quiet at far end away from the road. Only complaint is breakfast not included and a microwave would have been welcome. Glasses rather than plastic cups would be nice. The best choice for the price point in the area. Did not use the pool as water slide very popular with children.

Sometimes the best part of a road trip is not knowing where you will end up staying & just taking it as it comes, we lucked out in Cranbrook. Then rooms are huge, clean & the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast at the attached restaurant was wonderful, especially the Lattes. : )

Stopped here for the night on our way to Osoyoos. The staff were very friendly, our room was spacious and exceptionally clean. The bed was comfortable , hotel was nice and quiet. The on site restaurant serves breakfast and there are a few restaurants within walking distance for meals as well.

Stayed at the Best Western on our way through to Calgary. The hotel is clean, spacious and in a great location. Only scored it low because we were woken up @ 8:30am by noise from. The auto body business next door. This would not be an issue if you were staying overnight for work but annoying when on vacation.

We stayed here for one night in May. After a long drive we were disappointed to find that the restaurant advertised both on the website and on the roadside sign outside the hotel is not open in the evening. The room was standard for this type of hotel.

We had a kitchenette with an adjoining room which felt more like a condo than a hotel! The staff were fantastic. The hotel was modern, clean and quite comfortable. Would stay again without question!!!

Had to stop in Cranbrook on our way home as a spontaneous stop because my husband got sick and needed a place to rest. We only had another 3 hours to drive home but my husband couldn't go any further. The check in staff were very professional and friendly. Gave us a nice quiet room on the top floor as we requested. The room was modern, clean and roomy complete with plenty of towels, soaps, shampoo etc. TV and internet both good and we had a nice fridge. The desk didn't have a chair so I asked a cleaning staff who was next door and she gave me the desk chair from that room. She was very friendly and accommodating. The bed was comfortable and we had a nice restful sleep. Price was a bit high but it was a more upmarket type hotel so it was worth it especially for our needs at the time. We didn't stay for breakfast but the hotel has a lovely cafe by the reception area. If I stop in Cranbrook again I would stay here again.

The team at this Best Western were fantastic in every way. They were understanding to the reason why we were staying when we let them know it was due to a family member in the local hospital. Dee in particular was incredible however everyone on the team was helpful and accommodating. Thank you to all!

This hotel is well laid out and the suites are useful for small meetings or presentations with good access to seating and technology. A nice change from other hotels in the interior which frequently have a mom and pop air to them. Will return.

Overpriced, no free breakfast. Exterior was dirty, parking terrible. Pool and fitness room were small and felt cramped, especially the fitness room, the equipment was packed with minimal room for operation.

Upon check in the front desk staff honoured a competitor's price, and provided an upgrade due to being a rewards member. She was very pleasant and friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel is close to several restaurants as the one in the hotel was closed. Will definitely stay again when coming through Cranbrook.

Clean hotel, comfy beds and quiet. Friendly staff and close to good restaurants. Could use a bar or lounge though. Check in was quick and easy and so was check out. One of the better ones if not the best one in Cranbrook.

The room was clean, and south facing. While I had a room close to the rail yard, I didn't notice it. OF NOTE: While the room was nicely appointed and clean with bath fixtures for instance that was consistent with a nice decor; the hotel was supplying PLASTIC cups and PAPER cups for coffee. You have to be kidding!!! It was completely incongruous with the room. When I brought it up to the front desk, the kid shrugged his shoulders and said that that was a corporate thing and they supplied them for the room. Glass and mugs would have been a waaaaay better choice, and would have 'completed and complimented' the room and earned the hotel another star. On arrival the front was getting slammed and the clerk was brand new. Given that she was getting slammed she maintained a pro attitude, and sorted us all in or out as the case presented. I had lunch in the wee cafe on site; I chose the turkey club wrap. it was on par with 'Timmy's'. The hotel does advertise a pool and waterslide though i didnt get a chance to visit it.

After a long travel day, I just wanted a room and restaurant. Saw Best Western sign with "Restaurant" underneath, so checked in, only to find so called restaurant only open for breakfast! Had good experience with Best Western in Oregon the previous evening, so was disappointed with this Canadian version: $70.00 more and lacking in a basic amenity. I would not stay here again.

Great hotel for cleanliness. Service is much to be desired. No late check out allowed for only certain people. When asked for an explanation, it was simply stated that too many people already have a late check out, so you can't have it. Management makes no effort to accommodate needs or to find left behind items.

We stayed here for our sons hockey tournament and were really happy with the room. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The pool is small but has a waterslide which the team enjoyed for hours. We would stay here again when visiting Cranbrook in the future.

Kinda pricey compared to the other hotels in town. But we love Best Western. Front desk was very helpful and friendly. Restaurant restaurant very pricey, with small menu, even with 15% coupon. We went to a breakfast restaurant and paid about 20% less including tip. A continental breakfast would have served us well instead of having to leave the hotel.

I enjoyed my stay at this Best Western. besides the rather cold pool, and a little un-comfy bed it was great for the one evening I was there. The staff are professional and very helpful. Lots of great parking and the onsite restaurant was an added bonus.

I found our room very nice and clean and the beds were perfect. The front desk was polite and helpful. I would stay here again without doubt. Loved the shower. I can't find anything negative about the place.

Everything was up to the standard expected of this chain of hotels. Staff was professional and efficient. Bed could have been a little softer. Location is unbeatable on the main strip. Could use more outdoor plug-ins for cold winter nights.

Clean, spacious rooms. Great beds, Great internet service. Nice Newer Hotel. It has all that the business traveler needs. Easy to find and the staff are friendly and accommodating. I will continue to stay here as I use Cranbrook as a central point when I travel to this area for work.

Its a very decent hotel for a small town. Staff was very helpful. Check-in was quick. The room is very spacious. There is train track behind the hotel although i didnt hear any noise (so either its well insulated or no train came by or i slept too deep). The conference room is quite small so if you are looking for a big room to host people for meetings, this might not be ideal. There is no restaurant in the hotel but they do have a small breakfast spot inside and there is also a Mr Mike's across the road. I was there on a Sunday and was able to watch football (NFL) games in my room so that's a plus for me. I will definitely stay again

It's the only best western where I never get recognized as a diamond+ member like first time I stayed in red deer I had a jacuzzi room instead of the basic room I booked. I checked in and the lady said no rooms were available with a fridge even though I looked online and there was some that had fridges and we're available. I complained last time after I put food in that fake fridge and got food poisoned, the lady said she'd put a note so I'd get a real fridge next time. Not worth whatever rates they charge for their hotel. I'll stay at prestige next time or just won't stop here at all. Those 2 queen bed rooms feel like cardboard.

A good hotel right on the main street of town. I would say you can't go wrong to stay here. Rooms are spacious and decently decorated. Some highway noise at night, but no noise in the halls as some have reported.

rarely do I vent in my reports , but I will this time. Let me start from the beginning. En -route from Creston B.C. after attending a Funeral there , we decided to stay overnight in Cranbrook on our way back to Calgary. We checked in , went for a light Supper and settled down for the night. Or so we thought !! Barely asleep , we were awoken by Hordes of People stampeding up and down the Corridor , laughing , yelling , slamming Doors. And then it dawned on me. When we checked in we saw some Parents with their Children in Hockey Uniform. Oh nooooo , a Hockey Tournament is in Town. After listening to that Racket for awhile , I phoned the Front Desk and informed them of what was happening. They send someone up and we could hear thing's settling down. For about two Minutes and it started all over again. Doors slamming , running Corridor Races , yelling , laughing. You name it. After about 1/2 hour listening to this , cause sleeping to it was out of the Question , I decided to phone the Front Desk again. Same Result, Someone came up , two minute Quiet and here we go again.. I can only assume that either the Staff was unable to convey the need for Silence , was unable to get the Message across or just didn't care. But my Advice , don't check into this Hotel or if you do ask the Front-Desk if there is a Hockey Tournament in Town.

This hotel was very loud, the people down the hall partied all night, complained to desk , but to no avail, when I checked out in the morn , again talked with front desk they apoligized and stated they would have a manager call me, never happened, called back and still no communication back, We are not happy customers , and the Best Western should be ashamed, this is not what they advertise.

These guys are always fairly quick at check inn and let me know if they have rooms if im driving into town or if I need to book. The housekeepers in the AM seem to know to stay quiet while they are int he hallways as I love to sleep in. Most importantly the showers have good pressure and dont go hot and cold that you get at older hotels.

Clean!, Comfy! and Kind! Free breakfast would be nice but the food is actually better than other hotels because you pay for it. I stayed at many other Best Western locations and Cranbrook is one of my favourite.

hotel was clean and neat, parking was abundant. checked the room by pulling back the bed from the headboard and found the cleaning excellent!!! while our stay was brief, we would definitely stay here again.

Booked the room through Airmiles and everything was wonderful. We've booked through airmiles before and the hotels often aren't that welcoming for "discount" customers, but these guys were great. Check-in was a breeze, they had been waiting for us - or so they said. Offered some suggestions on places to eat, gave us a map of town. When mentioned a restaurant we wanted to eat at, and while we were checking in - the front desk person was already on the phone trying to find out if the place was open and if she could get us a seat. Super nice of her. Our room...amazing, it was bigger than my first apartment! We ended up with a suite - kitchenette, dining room, living room, separate bedroom, and full bath. Have never had that much space in a hotel before. Everything seemed new, very clean, room was a little noisy for the night as it was street facing - but we realized the next morning that the window was a jar. Something we hadn't thought to check as we initially just closed the curtains when we arrived. There is a little cafe in the hotel, we chose to eat there for breakfast - you could tell that it's not a full kitchen, but more life a muffin and a coffee to go kind of place. We'd opt for eating somewhere else next time. It was ok, but left us wanting a little more before we got back on the road. We'd definitely stay here again if we were passing through Cranbrook.

was here working for a day. great office space in room I had. ran across the street for an AWESOME experience at a place called MR MIKES! it was worth staying there for that convenience. a must place to stay for that reason.. unfortunately the restaurant in the hotel is bfast only and not very good go dow the rd to Dennys.

Located centrally in Cranbrook, BC. Nice, comfortable and clean. What more could you ask for? Room is spacious and bathroom in functional as one can be in the shower and still allow another to dry hair and apply make up.

My husband and I were coming back from a marathon drive from Surrey BC to Lethbridge Alberta and from Lethbridge back to Siurrey in a weekend. On our way back we decided to stop at a hotel instead of sleeping in our truck (like we did the prior night). We looked on trip advisor for the best hotels in Cranbrook and "The Best Western" came up in that search. my husband went in with a price in mind ( we didn't want to have to take out a loan just to stay a night). He came out with the key cards in hand saying that it was $189.00 a night but if you were a BCAA or Costco member you receive 25% off. We are both so bonus!!!! We only paid $159.00. We both were extremly tired and just wanted a shower and a soft bed. We walk into the room and WOW!!!! Nice king size bed, large screen TV, leather sofa, nice coffee table and fridge. The bath tub was huge and great water pressure. Bed extremely comfortable. The only issue was all pillows had too much loft. Some that were a bit flatter would have been betterbut if that is the only issue who really cares. The desk staff were very polite at check in and check out( we left at 3:30am). I would have given 5 stars except for the pillow. I highly recommend this hotel!!!! On a final note Tim Horton's just minutes away.

Everything about this location is very good, impressive, and would certainly recommend to others. Excellent location, the hotel itself is attractive, clean and very nice. No hesitation in suggesting this to anyone, friend, relative or who ever, for a good experience and a great place at which to stay.

We stayed in the two bedroom/kitchen family unit overlooking the pool. The accommodations were so VERY clean and comfortable! It was an ideal set up for our group of six! The staff were very friendly! The addition of a free breakfast would have made the stay even more perfect!!

At time of check in the staff was really friendly. He provided me with an area map and highlighted places to go for dinner. He also provided me with a 15% discount card for the East Side Mario's restaurant which is extremely close by. The remote for the TV did not always work. Think the batteries were weak. There were no fresh cookies like there are at other Best Westerns when you check in. Very close by to where I was working so was in walking distance. Overall good stay just very quick so no chance to check out any amenities.

I have stayed at many Best Western Properties during the past 30 years both on business and pleasure. This BW has to be my favorite of all time. My satisfaction is noted in my ratings which up until now have NEVER been "10" across the board. Everything about this property is exceptional. I stayed only very briefly in the hotel, because I was here on business and out most of the time. The room was very clean and well set up, with good air conditioning controls. One quibble I have with this hotel, is that it is set up for handicapped access. I would not normally have a problem with that, except when it makes it difficult for those who are not handicapped. For example, the closet is set up so that you cannot hang normal length coats or other clothes. There should be some way to set up the room for convenience for both the handicapped and for the able-bodied. It is in a convenient location right downtown. I would certainly stay here again.

This is a very nice hotel. The decor is very attractive, the staff is friendly and helpful, and it is close to a number of decent restaurants. There is lots of parking. They really could improve by putting microwaves in the room, although they at least have a small fridge.

Very clean hotel and great location. Had a large parking lot and a field for our dogs to visit. Would be nice if the front desk staff were more engaging in conversation but they were efficient and accurate.

When booking this hotel, I thought I was booking through Best Western, but ended up on the "Bookings/Expedia" website. Wrong! Anyway, I wanted the room reserved for July 23rd, and Bookings had reserved it for September 23rd, so it was quite a surprise to find out we had no reservation when arriving at the Hotel. However, the ENTIRE front desk staff went above and beyond to get us a room, and that they did! After getting the mess with Bookings all figured out, Best Western offered us an upgraded suite for the same amount of money! It was a gorgeous room with a great view of the mountains, and immaculately clean. I highly recommend this Best Western.

We were on a long distance bicycle trip and need a place in Cranbrook. This hotel had nice size rooms and we got one on the first floor. It was large and quiet. We ate breakfast there the next morning using the 20% off coupon and it too was yummy.

The staff were friendly and helpful, they even printed us maps to the place we needed to get to which we really appreciated. We had 2 rooms, a King Suite and a regular with 2 Queen beds. They were both the same size but the King Suite had the kitchen area which would be nice for longer stays. The room with the queen beds had a small fridge which was a plus. The only downsides to this hotel is that it is much more expensive than others in town, however it is the newest, and there is no free breakfast. I just wish every Best Western would either offer free breakfast or not, it's annoying to not have consistency. Anyway, we didn't eat in the little cafe area, we went for breakfast elsewhere. We also didn't use the pool area but it was busy so people were enjoying it.

The location is excellent right on the outskirts of Cranbrook right on the Crowsnest and although it's very close to the highway at no time did we hear any traffic noise whatsoever, especially during a downpour where you would expect the rain-tire noise to be amplified. That's remarkable as we were right in the front of the building. The rooms are very clean if a little bit dated, and just about average sized. The beds are extremely comfortable and right in the middle of the usual hotel range where most beds are either hammocks or ironing boards. I was very happy to learn that they are pet friendly and the $17 surcharge is below most. The breakfast is not overly exciting as there is only one item on the entire spread that is a protein and that's the refrigerated hard boiled eggs. It would have been nice to have an option to have some meat of some kind. However, the make it yourself waffle iron is a nice touch, even if it slows the line down quite a bit when it's busy.

I was very happy with the cleanliness of this hotel. It looks like it was recently renovated and if it hasn't been then the cleaning staff have done a amazing job at keeping it look like new. I would stay here again and I would try other Best Western hotels.

This hotel has the most disgusting pool I've ever seen. It looks like green slime. There was no chlorine at all in the pool. I was weary about going in it to start with but we booked this hotel specifically because my kids love waterslides. I suited up my oldest son and went in there. He was heart broken when I said we couldn't go in it so I let him take one ride down the waterslide then we went to take showers immediately. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Especially if you have children who like to swim. #gross

Stayed here for two nights last week and had a great stay. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The room I had was a kitchenette. It was very clean with a comfortable bed and awesome linen sheets. Nice big tub for a soak if you wish. One of the best parts was the wifi speeds are amazing! Best I have ever had at any hotel, anywhere. Downloads in excess of 70 Mb, crazy fast internet. There is a restaurant on site that serves up great food and again the staff are awesome. I would stay here again for sure and highly recommend it.

A very comfortable stay in Cranbrook - nice modern hotel with friendly helpful staff. Hotel rooms are very clean and comfortable, beds comfortable ( bit noisy but still comfortable). The in-house dining room offers only breakfast and unlike other Best Western hotels, breakfast is not complimentary. However, good selection and quality.

Check in was quick and friendly staff. Upon Check out I was offered a bottle of water which was a nice extra. The rooms are modern. Wifi was good, never kicked out. The cable selection was good also. A couple eating establishments are located across the highway - of course when highway is busy it can be tough to cross.

great location, great staff, lovely facility. We had traveled from Banff in Alberta, and we headed to Nelson in B.C. so we needed to stop for dinner and road trip stuff the staff was so helpful with recomandations , and so pleasant both in the morning and at checkin

Great Best Western! Right off the Hwy 3, awesome steak place across the street (Mr.Mike SteakHouse). Front desk staff (Julie and John) were awesome! Very friendly, quick and helpful! As a platinum Rewards member our room was upgrade by John/Julie without even asking and they followed up with a room call to see if everything was to our satisfaction within an hour of arriving. Our room was clean, comfortable, quiet and had a GREAT night sleep. No breakfast included but all other amenities were as to be expected. Highly recommend this hotel for a stopover.

The hotel is right along the highway with good access to nearby ancillary support. The beds were very comfortable and internet was great. I didn't try out the breakfast as I think it was paid but I was in a hurry anyways. Staff were friendly and briefly used the small fitness room which was adequate.

Clean facility, good people on the front lines, just like it should be. A good location right on the main street in Cranbrook, but did not notice the traffic. Motorcycle parking up close to the front door, it all worked for me.

The room was nice, cleanand upto date. No microwaves in rooms but front desk did warm some food for us. After the 2nd night our garbage was not taken out and nor did we get fresh towels. Has a pool and water slide. Has a patio out back with nice grassy area and a volleyball net. I would stay here again.

Stayed at this property on our way between Glacier NP and Banff. We use Best Western a lot when we travel. This regular Best Western was better then most BW Plus and Premier properties we have used. The staff was second to none in courtesy and friendliness. If there is a negative,breakfast is not included but they did have a on site restaurant which served breakfast. Coffee and tea was free.

Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Nice big clean smelling room as is usual for Best Western Hotels. A great place to stay for all travelers. Very comfortable bed with pillows to match. Ample well night lit parking for RV's, cars, pickups etc.

Best Westerns are always a reliable stay for anyone traveling on business and the Best Western in Kamloops is no exception. The three things I need for in a hotel are clean sheets, batteries in the remote, and water pressure in the shower. The BW Cranbrook had all three.

Hotel was great and front desk was very friendly! Pool and water slide were great. Hotel rooms are very large with comfy beds! Just no hot tub and complementary breakfast would have been nice! Hotel is Ina very convenient place with good restaurants around!

if you are travelling up from the States to visit tourist areas around Lake Louise, Banff and Jasper this is a very convenient stop over and the hotel can be recommended as comfortable and professional

Very best pet friendly hotel. The patio and large fenced yard are wonderful amenity, allowing the pups to run, play and socialize in a safe environment. I wish other pet friendly hotels offered this option, thus proving themselves to be truly pet friendly. Thanks BW Cranbrook!

The pool with slide was a great draw for the kids...who used it once. They said the top was dirty and would not go again. We really enjoyed the international diversity of the staff who were friendly and helpful.. We would have preferred a free breakfast rather than the discount, even if it were only pastries or fruit.

When reserving, we were offered 2 suites, and chose for the cheaper one. When we arrived, I was curious on how both suite would compare, and maybe consider upgrading. So I asked the front desk attendant what the difference was between the 2 suites, and I was simply told "Oh they are very different". She would not go into further details, and I left to my room feeling like she only wanted to "process" me ASAP... (despite being no line up at all at the front desk). anyway, I still have no clue why one suite would be more expensive than the other one, but know that the hotel is on the side of the road that is next to a busy train track, so you might want to consider booking in an establishement that is on the other side of the road. Breakfast was not included. They would only give a discount coupon for their tiny restaurant. The menu in the elevator was not very inspiring, so we ate elsewhere. The waterslide was great. If you have kids that would definitely be a big plus. It's a 1 1/2 loop in the dark. Also on the plus side, we liked that our suite had a door that would close from the main space, but we would have prefered a suite with 2 bedrooms that close intead of one large bedroom with both bed in.

It is a convenient hotel, clean with some highway noise. Staff were friendly and helpful at check-in/check-out. The restaurant was disappointing, only open for breakfast, mediocre food for the price, but plenty of other choices nearby. Found the WiFi to be rather slow.

Be sure you know all the details and rules and regulations of the Best Western Rewards Program. I lost a free night and the points for this stay because I had booked through Booking.com It was a big disappointment to me.

While this hotel was ok, it is certainly overpriced. $120/night did not fetch much here. The restaurant is only open for limited hours in the morning, and the menu doesn't offer up much anyway. The standard rooms are alright but could use some updating. The saddest part of the experience was the customer service at the front desk. The staff were lacking any skills whatsoever, but it's quite apparent they lack the proper customer skills training for this hotel to be an actual competitor in this market. The Days Inn just down the street offers rooms for approx $40/night lower, with a full breakfast included. This will be our pick on our next visit to Cranbrook, not the Best Western!

The Staff at the Cranbrook Best Western were always easy to deal with and so helpful for anything we needed. My partner and i travelled on business quite often and found them wonderfully hospitable. The rooms were always well tended and comfortable and when you're away from home that means so much. As well the Bistro downstairs, Vicenzo's, catered to the rooms and was the best Italian food i've had and was on a par with larger city experiences such as Vancouver and Montreal for taste, quality and atmosphere.

New and modern hotel on the highway through the city. Excellent parking, even dedicated motorcycle parking. Could use a little enforcement though. Have seen cars parked in the well marked motorcycle spots. Guess it may be a result of them being Close to the entrance. Quiet and clean rooms. Friendly staff. In hotel dining is missing but the steakhouse across the highway is excellent.

After having our reservation at another property changed, we fortunately check with the Best Western. Lucky us ! The room was above our budget but the cost was reduced by the staff. The room itself was huge and gorgeous. Restaurants close by worked well for us. Thanks, Best Western staff.

This motel is very well equipped with large rooms and very comfortable beds. Every amenity was included in the bathrooms. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and efficient. They gave suggestions for dinner and were on duty in the morning to say goodbye. The one disappointment was that breakfast was not included. However, there is a restaurant in-house where you can order breakfast and get a 25% discount.

Very nice hotel. Friendly staff but bring cash if you need to do laundry as you can't charge it to the room or use a credit card. Having to leave to go find an ATM is inconvenient. Great stay otherwise.

I travel down for a weekend away. it was close to all the things i wanted to do. The place is clean and the staff are friendly. I would go back for sure. I hope they get things worked out with the tv company. some kinks need working out.

Well appointed, roomy comfortable rooms with good linens and pillows. Pool is tiny, basically a catch basin for the water slide. No hot tub. Our room was quiet, although others in our group said their rooms were a bit loud. My beef was the service at the "breakfast" restaurant. We had kids in a local sport tournament, and went for breakfast in a timely manner. Luckily we had time, because it took and hour and 15 mins to serve a table of 4 breakfast sandwiches! The food was tasty, but the staff is obviously seriously over taxed. The restaurant was full and it appeared there was only one cook and one server for approximately 20+ patrons. Even so, I have never met an egg that takes 75 minutes to cook...

This was our 2nd stay at this hotel. The first time one year ago was pretty satisfactory. This time we ere located in a room above the front desk. Check in was very swift and friendly. The room was comfortable enough and clean. During the night the street noise was loud. It sounded like a street cleaner working around the hotel. Maybe no fault of hotel rather city maintenance staff. At 5 am I could hear a radio playing below us and loud voices. Check out went well. My over all satisfaction was average.

Was upgraded to suite 403 for my stay and it was perfect. King bed, with great linen and pillows, 2 bathrooms couch and chair, kitchen table and a kitchenette. Was nice to have the 2 burners and pots to cook with, rather than just microwaving my food. Was far enough away from railway tracks that trains didn't bother me. Staff was super friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Love staying at this hotel!

Having travelled to Cranbrook regularly for work, I found myself disappointed by the hotel choices in town. In the summer I decided to stay at the Best Western, and it was hands down the best stay I've had in town. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and the location is very central. The only disappointment was the lack of a continental breakfast being included, which is fairly standard with other Best Westerns.

Traveled to Cranbrook this past weekend and stayed at this newer hotel. Staff very accommodating to our needs..Thank you Dee and Jessica. We needed rooms for 2 nights, 5 adults and 5 children. Due to the circumstances for our stay, we were offered a good nightly rate. We had a king suite, which was huge. Two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, pull out couch, and large sitting and eating area. Other room was 2 queen beds. It was also spacious. Rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable. Any one who is familar with Cranbrook knows the the railway is very active with many trains per day rattling the rails as well as most of the hotels in the area! The hotel is very close to the tracks however after the first few trains rumbling by we were not really bothered by the noise. Grandkids enjoyed the pool and water slide. Pool is small and and is hard pressed to accommodate more than 6-8 people without feeling crowded. Pool deck is clean with a nice sitting area. No hot tub. No free breakfast. There is a small breakfast cafe off lobby. Basic breakfast fare however it closes at 10 AM. Restaurants nearby.

Hotel advertises a restaurant, which is does not have. It only has a nook, open only for breakfast. The walk to restaurants it recommends are across a four lane busy road. At check in the computer would not read our Best Western rewards card nor our credit card. The room was nice, but the morning in room coffee service was hidden away on a pull out tray that pulled out into the middle of the walk area at the foot of thr beds. Very inconvenient

Looks like a newer place, great little restaurant. Nice rooms and a great pool. Lots of parking for large vehicles. Comfortable beds, lousy shower head though, it was more like a sand blaster.... Friendly staff. A little disappointed that they were not that full and as a diamond club member I was not offered the upgrade that others do. But worthy of a stay.

I found this hotel to be fairly new. The staff were very friendly yet professional. I never used the pool & exercise room however it did look clean and very nice. The room was very spacious and extremely clean. The internet worked great and quite fast.

119/ night for 2 double beds, tiny bathroom, no free breakfast. We were with a tournament, so we can't complain about the noise, but would highly recommend never accepting a room near the lobby or on the 1st floor, very loud and lots of footsteps and stupid parents who think it's ok to let their kids run and scream at 1130 pm. not greeted with any type of warm welcome, it was more of an inconvenience, that said, I understand we are paying for the room at the price we paid. Clean room.

We stayed here January 2016. We met up with your kids and you d grandkids as we both live about 8 hrs apart and Cranbrook was the 1/2 way point. The hotel is clean friendly comfortable. We had a room with a king size bed with a office chair for the desk and a nice leather couch. We only found two small issues: One issue with the room was that the TV sits against the wall over top of a large desser/ shelving unit and when you try to change channels while laying in bed you have to reach for the sky to try and line up the remote with TV secret spot that that all TVs have that have a remote control. Well I'm over 6 ft tall and don't have an issue, however my wife is not as close to the Sky as I am and couldn't get her arm high enough to change channels..... Although this is a non issue unless your the tall guy with long arms that went to sleep before your lower to the ground wife who wanted to watch some TV from Bed. Second issue and probably one that should be addressed, which is the pool tempature and the room tempature in the pool area. We took the grandkids down to the pool during the day for a swim and water slide. The outside temp was -1 and snowing. The pool was warm but not all tha warm and should have been turned up a couple of degrees. I found myself standing info of one of the water inlets into the pool to stay warm. The room temp was cool during the days and as soon as we got out of the water we were cold and had to put on a towel. Later after dinner our kids took the grandkids down to the pool and found that by time it was dark outside ( no idea of outside temp) the pool room was cold. They only stayed in the pool for a very short amount of time because the kids 2 and 4 were shivering. There should either be a large gas heater or IR Heater installed in the room to raise the temp in ther pool room during the winter months, so they could be turned on to make it more comfortable when you get out of the pool. Now, i did t tell the staff this when we left the next morning as there was a lot of activity with the grandkids and I forgot, so I apologize, that my comments are on here in stead of being told to the staff face to face. However I would and will stay here again because the things I listed above are not show stoppers and have already recommended this hotel to a neighbour that travels to Cranbrook for work. Hotel is somewhat over-priced for what is available. The toilet in our room was very difficult to flush. The amount of pressure needed was ridiculous. I am Platinum Member and I will look elsewhere because they no longer have a restaurant or lounge and I hate having to risk my life to cross an uncontrolled highway just to get to a Mr. Mike's for mid range steak joint.

I stay at a lot of hotels and layout always interests me. I don't think I've ever said to my wife before that a room had such a nice layout that it would make a great master w/ensuite - which is what this was like. Sensible, practical, and modern. It didn't come with a breakfast but we did get a 25% discount coupon for the small restaurant. It provided good food quickly and was served by friendly efficient staff. The cook even came out to ask if my medium poached eggs were satisfactory; they were.

Very clean hotel, friendly staff, what more could you ask for? Rooms are comfortable and inviting and the hotel is centrally located in town. I travel a lot for business and have become somewhat picky about where I stay and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Everything looked brand new, nice amenities, comfortable bed and the heating system was very quiet, making for a nice night of sleep. No continental breakfast, adequate parking and very polite staff. Perhaps a bit high on price, compared to other lodging options but It was not outlandish for the quality of the room

Second time through Cranbrook, this time I had ear plugs with me. Without a doubt the cleanest & nicest place to stay in town. It has a great pool plus slide for kids. Ample easy parking off Main Street through Cranbrook. Lots of local fast food places to eat in easy walking distance & to my surprise the hotel eatery was back open for breakfast & lunch. The only down side if your a light sleeper is the trains, at 2am they sound like they are in your room they are so loud. This is a main & central port for all Rocky Mountain freight. I took a sleep aid & ear plugs but still got rude awakening by the 5am freight. Staff are pleasant & informative, I use the best western app to book & rates seem high for season. Desk clerk told me next time call ahead to book & I will get a lower rate. Ok so adjust my rate...no.

Not the cheapest, not the best, but if you are looking for clean and comfortable for the night it will do. It is conveniently located on the strip and within walking distance to lots of places to eat or go shopping. There are mountains all around this area so anywhere you looking has an amazing view.

Always wanted to write a review about this hotel, but because I stay there every month it got overlooked. This hotel does not have to use the Best Western tag as they are so far ahead of the competitors it is not funny. Rooms are great, clean and affordable and you are pampered by staff that want you to have a pleasant visit. The GM there , Crystal Scott, is magnificent and her staff take their cue from her. I know I stay there monthly but from my first stay I was made to feel like I was at home. Would never think of staying anywhere else

This was my first time to stay at this Best Western. I have stayed at many. This stay was as a stop over during a business trip on my way home. The staff were all very courteous and professional, and seemed interested in making my stay a pleasant one. Breakfast was well presented and in casual clean surroundings. This would be a fine place to stay for a short holiday or on a business trip to the area.

Excellent hotel. Very nice and clean room and friendly, helpful staff. Have stayed in other places in Cranbrook and this is the best hotel in town. I would stay here again in a heart beat. We stayed in a suite and it was great. Only thing is you are next to the rail yard and that can get a little noisy so close your window if you are on that side. Kudos!

This is a beautifully appointed hotel that is close to everything we need access to in Cranbrook. The fitness facility is wonderful and clean. The rooms are large and very well kept. My only complaint is that breakfast is not included. I feel that for the price that you are paying to stay here a breakfast should not be charged for in the restaurant downstairs.

This Hotel has train tracks right behind it. The whole building shook when it went by!!! If you want a good nights sleep this is NOT the hotel!!!! The staff seemed to shrug it off that it was a problem and did not care in the least.... Never again!!!!

Excellent hotel to stay with for business. I have been staying here regularly for the past two years for business and the staff (with one exception) has always been very friendly and helpful. If there is a downside, it's that it (like almost every hotel in Cranbrook) is close to the rail lines and therefore can be a bit noisy. A good set of earplugs sorts this out!

Very spacious clean rooms. great temperature control for a comfortable sleep. We stayed on a queen family suite that had ample room for a family of 5 if needed. Front desk was efficient at check and very courteous and professional. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a nice hotel, with typical Best Western comforts and polite staff. Disappointing that the relatively high room rate did not include BW's typical complimentary breakfast. The restaurant's breakfast fare was good, but not included in the rate. This is probably the most expensive hotel/motel option in Cranbrook, so you need to shop around.

awesome property, I would recommend it. The staff is friendly and the rooms are really clean. There is ample parking for large vehicles and it is centrally located with restaurants and shopping near by.

A Nice modern hotel, comfortable rooms and comfortable beds. Close proximity to restaurants, but would be nice to have a full service restaurant in the hotel. This one offers only a quite limited menu and only for a few hours in the morning. Unlike other Best Western Plus hotels, this one offers no complimentary breakfast - a shortcoming in my opinion. Otherwise, no complaints.

Very nice, large clean rooms, friendly staff. Breakfast not included. Centrally located. On main hwy. restaurant on site, but near a lot of fast foods. Quite expensive, but compared to other hotels and motels in the area, worth it.

Very large room. Friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient location Not the cheapest but the brand is consistently good. Breakfast facilities are limited but good alternatives are near by. Quiet location and very secure

This hotel is in a good location for when you come into town. It's clean and looks to have been renovated or at least looks very new. My room was clean and quiet (there's a train that runs every once in awhile nearby but it doesn't go for too long). I like that they sanitize the remote control for the TV. It's probably the dirtiest thing in a hotel room. There's a place to have breakfast on the main level that's reasonable and good. I'd love to see the Best Western hotel chain (along with some others) get those hotel dors that close quietly. These are loud - although I was not disturbed by any, I wondered if my coming and going disturbed someone else.

I was a part of a group that stayed at the Best Western on Wednesday September 17th. The hotel is centrally located on the main highway that leads you into Cranbrook, across from the shopping mall and other amenities. Starbucks, Tim Hortons, and everything is all within walking distance. The hotel is a new property, and everything looks very modern and chic. The rooms are comfortable with plus linens and ample room. Lots of parking in the large lot out front. This is a great new hotel for Cranbrook, I highly recommend it!

We were in Cranbrook shooting an "anti-smoking" commercial with youth and the Best Western staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and productive. We truly appreciated the excellent service, the clean rooms and the amenities offered. Thank you Best Western!

this was a great hotel would recommend this to anyone good breakfast and everyone was so nice and service was very good by everyone good location Mr. Mikes across the street and near lots of eateries Bed was very cozy and room was clean and tidy . would stay again any time . best western hotels are the best

Check in was effortless, the staff were friendly. I had a room on the first floor which was not far from the elevator and it was quiet. I didn't hear a train until 630am. The room had two queen beds the one I slept in wasn't sagging, the other one was probably fine too. The room had a small fridge that was noisy so I unplugged it. The blackout curtains were effective against the bright sign from the building next door. I ate breakfast at the hotel, the french toast and bacon were typical and the price included coffee.
