« Great hotel for the price! »

We enjoyed our 6 night stay. The room was a little small, but still a good value for the price and very clean. Location is easily accessible from interstate. Staff was friendly and professional. Hotel overall is clean with nice decor. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. This hotel also offers free hot breakfast every morning. Very tasty. Would definitely recommend.

    « Weekend getaway »

We had a lovely room with a view of Pikes Peak. It felt like our own little apartment. There was hot coffee water tea and fruit available 24/7. And a very large delicious, full of variety breakfast available every morning. Amy, the front desk attendant, was extraordinarily friendly, courteous and helpful. Maria was very knowledgeable about sightseeing in the area. Elvira was also very helpful with recommendations of restaurants to patronize. The evening staff recommended we go to Colorado Mountain Brewery. It was thebomb.com just like they said it would be. The pool and hot tub are open much later than other hotels, making it possible for you to soak after a late day of hiking. I felt like the people who worked at this Best Western Plus were friends of mine. I would highly recommend anyone staying here. I would give it a 10 out of 5 stars.

« Really nice hotel with really nice staff! »

We stayed here in October and would definitely book a room again. The staff was friendly, nice and hard working. The room was spotless and the location was right off the freeway, yet quiet. We will be returning to Colorado Springs in the near future and this will be our hotel of choice. Thank you Best Western Plus for a great week!

« Very helpful and kind service »

The property exceeded our expectations on all levels. We would stay there for sure next time we are visiting. I believe the entire hotel had been remodeled. The shower was awesome! The front desk staff were wonderful as well!

    « good for a short stay »

good value for short stay, nice location next to I-25, breakfast is average, elevator is very slow and often just took the steps. Washer and dryer were clean and did a nice job on my cloths. Friendly and helpful staff

    « great hotel »

This hotel is clean, has a great location, very good breakfast, staff is very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Every afternoon there is a snack available in the lobby which is a nice perk. Great views of Pikes Peak.

    « Colorado Trip »

Centrally located for everything that we wanted to do. Very quiet and peaceful. Great showers! Loved the look of the hotel, looked more like a lodge than a regular hotel (like all the other hotels around then). Nice touch with the warn cookies available when you check in.

    « Dependable »

This was my seventh time to stay at this hotel and I will stay here again on my next trip to Colorado Springs. What more do you need to know? I was disappointed that I could not get a room on the west side where the view is fantastic, but I didn't have a reservation so I really can't complain.

    « Great! »

A great place to stay.... Very nice staff... very attentive to any needs and friendly... The walls are a little thin, No smoking, pets. A great location, close to the highway. Close to Air force base.

    « Enjoyed our stay »

Room was clean. My daughter enjoyed the pool and wanted to swim first thing. It was nice to have the pool indoors, yet there is a glass wall where we could sit outside and enjoy the day while still watching her. Ladies added a nice green chili to go with the eggs for breakfast which made all the difference in the dish. Thanks.

    « Colo Springs Visit »

Very comfortable and friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay. The meals were a good start to our day. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The elevator was a little noisy but at least it was working!

    « Wonderful Experience »

Very nice hotel, staff was exceptional. Checking in was east, rooms were clean and pleasant and nicely appointed- breakfast was good- not exceptional - but good quality. Check out was equally easy, matter of fact I had already checked out and was down the street when I got a call that my two year old had left her tablet in room and housekeeper wanted us to know ASAP! Great customer service!

    « "Best" Stay »

Came from out of state for funeral, so last minute booking. Looked at rooms online, but had questions. Called hotel, they were more than accommodating to book two rooms adjoining for us and gave us a very reasonable rate. During our drive to Colorado, we received a phone call that elevator not working and they will gladly help us upon arrival getting our things up to 3rd floor rooms. Very nice to know ahead of time before arrival. When got to hotel, it was very modern and welcoming lobby and ladies behind counter were very talkative and friendly. I was impressed enough to open a BW Rewards account with which they helped me. Rooms were very nice, newer furniture and bathroom fixtures and clean, but on the small space side. However, when in Colo Springs, you had better be out enjoying the beauty of the mountains all they have to offer rather than sitting in your hotel room! The beds were great. Very comfortable, in both rooms - all queen beds. Even my teens commented on how comfortable they were. The breakfast was quite frankly a lot for the rate of the room. Hot foods, like eggs and omelets that tasted good (not rubbery). Quite a large variety of foods also to include yogurts, fruit, waffles, etc. We were not for want on breakfast! And to top it off, the breakfast attendants were spot on very attentive to food and cleaning tables. And they were talkative and friendly to boot!! Awesome way to start the day. my teens used the hot tub and pool and felt there was a bit too much chlorine in the hot tub, but otherwise the pool area was nice. The location really is perfect with most of the city attractions within 30 minutes, mountain attractions within 2 hours, Denver only 1 hour. Will definitely stay here again just to meet all the friendly and attentive people that work there!!! Side story to verify attentive workers: one night of the stay they were trying to find the owner of a car with headlights still on. As they spoke with another customer about it, I heard it was same make as my car. Leaned back from getting a night time hot chocolate and asked if it was the model of my car. Without explaining who I was, they recognized me and said, "No, it isn't yours! We already checked for yours and it is not the same license plate." Wow. We had not spent a lot of time in hotel, but they recognized who I was? That's cool!!

« Nice place to stay in Colorado Springs »

Nice room very clean place. Close to everything. Wish I could show pictures of the mountains from our 4 th floor room. They are fantastic. Pool and spa are a little small but clean. Breakfast was very good.

« Great place for an extended stay. »

I was in Colorado Springs for 10 days. I have stayed here before. Just as good ! Check in: very quick, upgraded (which was nice), receptionist always friendly. Iced lemon flavoured water always available. Rooms: my suite was a nice size, big TV, fridge, microwave. Housekeeping was of a high standard except on a couple of days where there was no coffee supplied. Not great when you are english, in late and out early ! Excellent shower, no bath. Breakfast: choice of hot and cold, alternates every other day. Good choice of items (including fruit) for a freebie. Health suite, pool and hot tub. Location: couple of good restaurants (Chicago Grill & Taproom, Outback) within walking distance. Recommended

« Nice staff at front desk »

Briefly, this is a standard room we stayed in. It was clean, attractive and functional. My only complaint is the sink in the bathroom. There was really no counter space to put toiletries on. That was unexpected in a hotel like this one nowadays. The coffee in the morning was barely drinkable. There were the standard chain breakfast offerings. My one big positive I felt was my interaction with front desk staff. Check in was handled extremely pleasantly and competently by a young man. And the next morning, a woman named Gina was working. Both employees were basically super nice and friendly.

« New favorite place to stay »

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was nice and roomy and we had a mountain view. The bed was comfortable. The staff were welcoming. They have iced, flavored water in the lobby and snacks every evening. Breakfast was included and was very good. It included biscuits and gravy, bacon and eggs, etc. There is a mountain view balcony on the 2nd floor but no chairs to sit in to enjoy the view. They should add chairs. One downside for us was the deordizer smell in the lobby. i don't know why they need an artificial smell. As someone sensitive to smells, it was overwhelming and unnecessary. There was also no ice machine on the 3rd floor which was inconvenient. Even with these issues, I would still stay there again.

    « Good place »

Enjoyed our stay. Nice room, good breakfast, and a great added touch was the cookies at the front desk.. Very friendly staff. Very friendly and helpful breakfast room staff. Have never seen this before in other hotels.

    5
    « Very Nice »

Everything was great here and very friendly staff which is so nice to see. Today very often the hotel staff does not even say a greeting to you. The only thing I would change in all hotels really is they need better fabric softener as the towels are soooooo rough at every hotel.

    2
    « They don't have cribs - families beware! »

We made our reservation via the Best Western app prior to our arrival. When I was checking in I asked the front desk clerk if she'd seen my comment requesting a crib and she replied that they renovated the hotel about 2 years ago and since that renovation haven't provided cribs due to liability issues. My wife and I have taken our child on several long road trips over the last 2 years and as part of that we've spent 40+ nights in hotels. This is the first time we've ever encountered a hotel that didn't have cribs. I've never heard of a hotel that didn't have cribs. The hotel was nice, in a good location, and breakfast and the pool were nice, if not a bit cramped - which speaks more to the popularity of the hotel than anything else. Still, I wouldn't ever stay here again since they don't have cribs. What are people with babies expected to do? Bonus... I filled out a Best Western provided survey after our stay and the Assistant General Manager - the same one who's replying to all these reviews - sent what seemed to be a form email response to my reviews. I say it was a form because she provided a general apology for not meeting expectations, but didn't mention any of my specific complaints.

« Nice place, well kept, small room and bathroom »

The outside of this hotel is really cute. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and modern. Bathroom: GREAT water pressure, good drainage in shower. Negative: clear glass shower doors. These wouldn't have worked well if I had been traveling with my family. The bathroom is exceedingly small, too. Room: Everything was clean and modern. The room was fine for one person, but it would have been a tight fit for a family of four or more. There wasn't much room to get between the desk and the bed. If you need to get supplies or fast food, they are within 5-10 minutes down the road. Overall, a really nice place. I would recommend it highly, but make sure the size of the room will work for your family.

    « Vacation »

Our stay was very pleasant, staff was friendly and very helpful in advice on places to go. Hotel common areas and room were clean and well maintained. We would stay in this hotel again on future trips to Colorado Springs.

« Family Vacation in Colorado Springs »

This is the place to stay ! rooms clean and spacious. pool is open till midnight most hotels only till 10 pm.. this is just a beautiful property. breakfast was amazing and fresh no matter what time you go to eat even at 9:30 am. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was nice to see smiling faces . Fruit water awesome touch . Cookies delicious . will stay here again

    5
    « Convenient location »

Great starting point for all the Colorado Springs adventures. The hotel was clean and the staff were wonderful. Just a little disappointed in the Bistro--"happy hour" prices were pretty high and breakfast coffee & oatmeal were disapointing.

    5
    « Clean hotel and friendly/helpful staff »

The hotel is kept in good shape. My room was very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room had a sitting area near the window, which was a nice touch. It made for a cozy setting. The room color and décor were light and airy, giving a fresh feel. The staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly. Provided great recommendations for places to check out and places to eat. Wanted a good brewery to try and the staff member's suggestion was on-point! The breakfast in the morning was delicious. Great experience!

    3
    « Disappointing »

Advertised as Best Western Plus. This hotel does not have HD televison channels yet they charge a fairly high rate and bump up the rate on weekends. The a/c unit in the room roars and shuts after a minute. Very dry room and hallways. Bed is very soft but for some that may be OK. Breakfast has a lot of items including bacon but still average. There are many other hotels along the road - best to shop them all. In reality probably a Best Western Minus.

    5
    « Great hotel »

Great service from the whole staff. Super location just off the interstate. We really enjoyed the breakfast. Breakfast staff was friendly and concerned about the guests. Had a great room spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

    5
    « Enjoyable stay »

Clean and pleasant room. All members of the staff was friendly. The breakfast was good with lots to choose from. This hotel was conveniently located to a few restaurants and many attractions. The view of the mountains was beautiful. I would recommend staying here.

« Excellent property with hidden amenities »

This very clean, comfortable, and well-located hotel has hidden surprises awaiting you. Do not miss the serenity deck on the 2nd floor. I didn't discover it until my last day. It has picturesque views of Pikes Peak that you don't want to miss. Also, on weekday evenings, the hotel provides delicious snacks and sweets. The tomato bisque, chili, chips, salsa, and cookies were delicious. The breakfast is another plus with great options each morning. Front desk service was very friendly and efficient. Room was spacious and the shower is amazing! Thanks for a great stay.

    4
    « Pleasant Stay »

Conveniently located right off the expressway for all the attractions in the area. Staff was very friendly, no matter what time of day.Refreshing flavored water in the lobby. Rooms were comfortable and efficient for our needs-refrigerator, tried to get adjoining rooms but not available. Breakfast bar was good. Pool was refreshing but it is a small size pool (capacity 14) but there is a hot tub too! Would recommend staying here again.

« clean and pleasant hotel »

Room was on the small side, but everything was clean and in good condition. Bed was reasonably comfortable and early check in request was accommodated. Housekeeping and breakfast room staff were courteous and helpful. Front desk staff could be more polished and pleasant.

    5
    « Excellent hotel »

We were very pleased with our stay. This hotel offers a combination of good value, great service and convenient location. The facility is attractive and well appointed, the staff was very friendly and efficient and our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. My only disappointment was that the tv channel lineup was very limited. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with a variety of very tasty choices. We would definitely stay here again.

    5
    « Great Hotel »

We felt very welcomed when we first walked in the door. The front staff were very professional and friendly. Would stay here again. Breakfast was good. The toaster oven was broke so could not toast my bagel. Very Clean hotel. Very quiet.

« great shower head - small shower »

we appreciate the newness and cleanliness of this hotel. the shower was small but the shower head was powerful. room was clean - internet was S L O W in room 436. There is only one elevator which we used occasionally and hiked the stairs when it was busy. Breakfast staff on Sunday morning went out of their way greeting everyone, pouring coffee and restocking the area. enjoyed the newspaper.

    5
    « The neat hotel »

This is the very best hotel in the area, it's very convince to everything and stuffs are super friendly, I will highly recommend people live there.the breakfast is also amazing, room is always clean.pool a little bit cold.

    « Exceeded Expectations »

If you are planning a trip to Colorado Springs, the Best Western Plus Peak Vista Inn & Suites is my recommendation. This hotel exceeded all expectations and I will most definitely be staying here again soon. The room was clean, well-kept, and quite spacious. The view of Pike's Peak from my room (324) was remarkable. The hotel itself is in a great location; easy access to I-25, Woodmen Road, and Academy Boulevard. When it comes to amenities, their breakfast is the major highlight. If you are planning a stay here, my recommendation is a "King Suite with Mountain View". The room has a king bed, a large couch, and a roomy bathroom. Again, the view of Pike's Peak does not disappoint.

    5
    « Lovely Convenient Hotel »

Well appointed hotel with great view of Pikes Peak. Convenient to restaurants, site seeing and shopping. Very accommodating staff, clean hotel with comfortable bed, nice breakfast. We enjoyed our stay.

    4
« Nice hotel, great with the kids »

Best breakfast ever. I gotta say, it was amazing and truly had something to please everyone in our family. Room was a little cramped but other than that, a nice hotel. I thought it smelled musty but no one else thought so.

    5
    « Lovely, clean hotel »

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Best Western location. It was very conveniently located to all the sites we wanted to see in Colorado Springs, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the room was clean and well-appointed, the hot breakfast was exceptional, and the pool and hot tub were great! The only thing I'd change was the temperature in the pool room. It was a bit chilly because there's an air-conditioning vent right above the pool, and the pool is in a fairly small room with low ceilings so there was cold air blowing on us while we swam.

    4
    « Great location »

Neat hotel. Great breakfast! Room was sufficient for a disabled traveler. Kind of narrow, but okay for the two of us. Hotel is a good location. Just 12 miles to Pikes Peak. Close to lots of dining and shopping.

  • 1
    « No food ingredients »

Best Western offers free breakfast. I have food allergies and inquired as to the ingredients in the breakfast items. I was told that they don't keep labels for anything offered at breakfast. Thousands, if not millions, of Americans have food intolerances and allergies. It's time for Best Western to move into the 21st Century and tell people what ingredients are in the food. I had no breakfast.

    5
« Good at the little details »

The breakfast was excellent, great showers, afternoon snacks, and orange and pineapple water to drink. They probably could stand to upgrade tv but not a big deal. The beds was very comfortable and staff was very helpful and friendly

    5
    « Great Stay »

The stay at this best western was amazing. Staff especially was wonderful, always smiling and helpful. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was terrific. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. The value and quality was top.

    5
    « Great - Quiet - Comfortable »

Had dark curtains and thick walls for a quiet place to sleep. Also a great shower with good pressure and hot water. Hotel staff were quick to greet me, and even recognized my voice from when I had called the day before to say I would be checking in late.

    5
    « Business Trip »

Great place to stay and very affordable. Location of hotel was perfect was able to get to where I needed to be easily. Professional staff, clean and orderly hotel. Great choice of restaurants near the hotel was superb which included Old Chicago, Outback and Tilted Kilt.

    5
    « Excellent stay! »

Highly recommend this hotel. Beautiful view. Great staff that was so helpful and friendly and greeted you each day with a smile. The front office staff made you feel special and welcomed. Close proximity to many area attractions. A special treat was the evening snacks. We always stay at Best Western Plus hotels but Best Western Plus Peak Vista Inn & Suites by far has been the best.

    5
    « Lovely Weekend »

My daughter and I booked at the Peak Vista Inn because of the great reviews. Frankly, I didn't expect the property to live up to them. But as we walked in the door, we noticed a lovely scent in the air, which helped to set the mood for a great weekend. The staff was as friendly and welcoming as the reviews had promised. The room wasn't fancy or overly large, but had everything we needed including a view of the mountains and a large TV. The breakfast was hot and delicious, with a variety of offerings, and there was plenty of everything. We were well pleased and I'm sure we'll be back.

    5
« Great View,Close to parks and adventures, hot breakfeast Bar »

Highly recommend this hotel, nice view, Close to cog railway for pikes peak, garden of the gods, great rates, very clean place with nice rooms, be sure to ask for a view. The free morning bar was full of excellent food with great bacon, eggs and real orange juice. Hats off to the staff , very friendly.

    5
    « Perfect for us »

My 17 y.o. son was impressed by the exterior, which was obviously well-cared for, and spent time on the serenity deck taking in the mountains. The room was spacious, and the shower had an extra large square head with above average water pressure. The staff was friendly and helpful, and freely offered the cookies. They also supplied me with a money saving coupon for a local establishment without me asking. We liked the selections at the complimentary breakfast bar, free local paper, and water flavored with fresh orange or cucumber-lime.

    4
« Nice Hotel With Very Nice Rooms »

This was the second time staying at a Best Western PLUS. There is a reason for the PLUS - it's well above the old Best Western hotels. The room was quiet with all the amenities including a nice big chair and ottoman. I wish though hotels could have tvs that can be turned when mounted to the wall. The bathroom was adequate having a nice large shower instead of a tub. The included breakfast did change some every day and was hot. Liked the stay at this hotel and will stay again when next in Colorado Springs.

« Amazing stay with some tips for improvement »

I stayed at this hotel with my wife and 2.5 year old. On arrival to the hotel, I found that I had mistakenly booked 4 nights instead of 3. The front desk asked me to reach out to priceline.com (rightfully so) and I called priceline who in turn called the hotel and the situation was taken care of and I was given a refund for 1 night stay. They had a 5-7 PM evening cocktail hour the day I checked in. I believe they vary between the cocktail hour versus having cookies available at the front desk on selected days. There were very limited vegetarian options at the cocktail hour. They had two different varieties of meat and a soup which had meat on it as well. The only vegetarian item was chips and salsa. They had a 24 hour free coffee though in the lobby. We checked into our room and went down to use the swimming pool which was maintained at an adequate heat. I had a lot of fun with my toddler and then ended up using the hot tub. The room was very well appointed with very modern furnishings, updated bathrooms and very comfortable beds. They also had a very nice sit out area built near the window where you could relax and look outside. The stay was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was included in the room rate. We came down next day for breakfast and it was a very good spread with some hot breakfast items. However, the same issue as the previous day persisted. Very few vegetarian options. I provided a written feedback on this. Overall I believe we had a good time at this hotel and would definitely stay again if I am in the area. I strongly recommend this for a nice family stay in the area.

    « Clean and comfortable! »

We stay here every couple of months when we are passing through town. The staff is always friendly and the rooms are always clean. Even the beds are comfortable. We've never had a problem. We always enjoy it!

    5
    « Colorado Reunion »

This was an excellent hotel. The staff was well informed and very professional in assisting our group during our stay in Colorado Springs. Facility was well maintained, comfortable and clean. Breakfast presented an excellent choice of well prepared food, and the staff maintaining the area kept the Breakfast Area in good condition at all times. Reservation process was very easy, and the hotel staff contacted me early on the day of our arrival to verify details of the reservation to insure that all was in order for our check in that evening. I would certainly recommend this property, and because of this experience, I will consider Best Western Plus for future trips.

    4
« Stay at the Springs »

Everything was really great. Breakfast was wonderful, staff friendly....Surprise dinner time snack one evening was amazing! If in the Springs area and needing a place to stay with the ability to walk to great dinning areas or even take in a great sport bar with amazing food you will get that with your stay here. Awesome on and off freeway access to take in other sights around the Co. area.

    5
    « Dependable Quality »

My new favorite place to stay in Colorado Springs--it hits the mark for so many reasons. It's affordable, quiet, clean, has a good free breakfast, wonderful staff and is located near many activities and shopping. I don't need anything else (and the price is right)

    4
    « Nice But a little pricey »

Being that it is in Colorado Springs, there are obviously other more luxurious hotels to choose from. This was a standard Best Western. The heating in our room was somewhat antiquated but it heated up eventually. Don't count on Mountain View meaning that you will have a nice serene view after dark because the hotel parking lot lights will be bright enough to force you to close the shades. Also, the hotel is on the freeway (!-25), so it is not nestled into the foothills of town itself.

    5
« Everything about this hotel was great. »

The staff was very friendly and the place was very clean. There is not one thing I could say negative about our stay. We traveled with a 4 year old and 6 month old and it was very accommodating for us.

    5
« Great place to stay! »

This hotel was a great value. The staff was very pleasant, the rooms and overall appearance terrific. Breakfast was good, and the location could not have been better. We had a mountain view and no traffic noise but were close to all the attractions of Colorado Springs. Except for a delay upon check-in, everything was perfect!

    4
« Everything you need at a great price »

Check-in was very easy, and the free cookies were very welcoming. Our room had two queen-sized beds, a microwave and fridge. There was a desk, with a desk chair, which not every hotel provides these days. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was very clean and well-cared for. With tax, our room was $122, including breakfast, which is extremely reasonable. The breakfast, which some reviewers lauded, was sort of a disappointment. I guess it's fine if you're a meat eater, but if not, the selections were limited. The scrambled eggs were rubbery and tasteless, the English muffins were flavored with cinnamon (why?). The best bet are the onion bagels which are quite good. But hard boiled eggs and cheese would have been a nice addition. The staff is friendly and helpful. And it's within easy striking distance of the Garden of the Gods.

    5
« very updated hotel with excellent breakfast »

Very nice 2 night hotel stay. Room was lovely bed comfortable. The morning breakfast offering both mornings was excellent. Only complaint is that the bath towels were unusually small which was kind of weird. Otherwise this was a very nice hotel; helpful staff, cold water with fruit in it at the front door, very updated amenities.

This hotel was great. Great service and great rooms. The pool and hot tub was wonderful too. Definately didn't want to leave. The breakfast was amazing. The location was great. I enjoyed the walking distance to eating places.

« Fall at the Peak Vista »

This BW hotel has finished a major remodeling and the rooms are quite nice. The overall impression arriving at the hotel is was very good and the lobby experience was great also. Between the building appearance, new room designs, full breakfast, afternoon snacks, pool/jacuzzi, north end location near I-25, and price I was very satisfied with my stay at the Peak Vista and will go again without hesitation.

« Nice surprise, very comfortable! »

Have not stayed at a BW in awhile, this was a really nice surprise. New hotel, very helpful staff and the bedding was very comfortable. During my stay there was a high school group there also, and noise was not an issue. All the other hotels in the area had been booked, this one is a gem!

« Excellent stay, convenient for Fine Arts Center »

We were at Colorado Springs mainly to visit the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center. The Center was an easy drive away on I-25?it took only about five minutes to reach its front door. This motel was clean, comfortable, quiet, and very easy to use. It is situated close to I-25 in a fairly new area. A couple of restaurants are just down the block, but in truth, Colorado Springs is not a huge city and it is fairly easy to get around, especially with GPS. The elevator and baggage carts make it much easier to transport luggage?especially in large quantities. The hot breakfast was good. We especially noticed how friendly and helpful all the staff were. One tip: vending and ice machines are only on every other floor. If you are on a floor lacking them, there is no sign on the door of the empty vending machine rooms that guides you to their actual location a floor away.

« Luxury service at bargain price »

This was a 3-day trip with two of my relatives who don't travel much and we were on a pretty tight budget. I was pleasantly surprised by what we got for the money. The room was great with a beautiful view and the service was friendly and efficient. They offered certain nuances, such as fruit infused water in the lobby and free snacks in the evening (in our case tomato bisque soup and chips and salsa, that you expect only in more pricey hotels. They had a nice clean spa and swimming pool, however we did not use the exercise room so I can't say anything about that. Definitely a good choice in hotels!

    « excellent hotel »

very professionnal staff , very helpful. the only thing was the room. it was not that quiet but this hotel is well situated and they offer a evening snack that is quite well.the matress is soft , there is very small pillows

« Great place great view! »

Driving through Colorado Springs and looking for a place to stay. Looking at reviews we gave best western a try. We couldn't be more pleased! Nice hotel with clean rooms and great views of the mountains. Once we were checked we were unpacking and the phone in our room rang. It was the check in desk asking if the room was to our liking. Awesome staff! Highly recommend this hotel. Great price. Great place!

    « Mini vacation »

Absolutely wonderful. Clean, awesome breakfast and guest services. Stayed before and will again. Easy to get to and close to shopping and restaurants. Even though it's close to I-25, very quiet and we had an amazing view of the mountains.

« Excellent rooms and service »

Great place to stay. Great rooms friendly staff. very close to restaurants. Nice lounge area in the lobby. Great breakfast. I came for a business meeting and would love to come back with family. overall it was very nice!

« Disappointed. Needed to give baby a bath and couldn't. »

We have a baby who needs to have a bath. They had no rooms with bathtubs available. Weird but understandable. However, they would not give us a refund and allow us to find another hotel to meet our needs. Would recommend going elsewhere.

« Great nights at the Best Western »

We spent 2 nights at the Best Western. The staff was extremely friendly. There was a snack when we arrived between 5 and 6 at the hotel which saved us from getting back in the car to go looking for a restaurant. The shower was fantastic, probably one of the best I have had in a hotel. The breakfast was great with several items to choose from. The bacon they serve is the real stuff, not that shrivelled up junk you normally get. When we got back to our room the 2nd night, they had fresh baked cookies for us. Our overall experience was great. This was one of the better a best Westerns we had stayed in. My one complains, not even a real complaint is that I didn't find the beds super comfortable. Over all it was a Greg experience!

    « Very pleasant premises »

Lovely large rooms in a quiet property with plenty of parking and excellent disabled customer facilities. Spacousin foyer and very attractive exterior. We had breakfast included in our rate, but it was only mediocre quality with eggs for each of the 4 days were tough and rubbery.

    4
« Pleasant one night stay »

Convenient to everything on the north side of Colorado Springs, but right off of I-25 to make it easy to get downtown or points south. Nice, clean, modern rooms. Beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Good value for the price.

    5
    « Great Property »

We enjoyed our stay and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Very clean and well maintained and the location was close to plenty of restaurants. We had a double and the room was clean, comfortable and quiet with good wifi. We will definitely visit again.

« Great Stay At the Best Western Plus Peak Vista Inn and Suites »

We stayed at the Best Western Plus Peak Vista Inn and Suites. It was a great place to stay for a vacation where you are constantly going to all the beautiful sites in Colorado Springs. The room was nice and clean. We had a corner room with a view of Pikes Peak. The room was quiet... well, except the traffic in the morning, but overall, very quiet. The bed was comfortable. It was a nice size room for 2 people for 5 days. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again! The price was good, there was 24 hour service in the lobby and it was very conveniently located to all the attractions we wanted to see. There is a small, but nice workout room, an indoor pool and hot tub. We didn't end up using the pool or hot tub, but nice to have. Also, parking is free and well lighted. I highly recommend for people looking for a nice clean place to stay. We were not in our room much, but it was nice when we were there.

« Great place to stay »

The staff at the hotel was pleasant and helpful - always went the extra mile - good location which was close to both the expressway and restaurants - room was immaculate - and the breakfast was good too.

    « Great Hotel »

Stayed in Colorado Springs for a conference. The conference had another recommended hotel but after looking at other hotels, decided to stay at this Best Western. We were glad we did. The staff was excellent and friendly. The hotel clean and the bed comfy. The breakfast was better than most, and we enjoyed the stay very much

    5
    « Awesome Experience »

The place was super clean! The staff was friendly and helpful. The mountain views were very nice. We really enjoyed the full breakfast. I guess my only complaint is that there was no where to enjoy a cigar.

    5
    « Great Hotel Choice »

Attended a conference in Colorado Springs which had a "preferred" hotel listing. After checking reviews and information, we chose to stay at this property and we were glad. The room was roomy and well appointed. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was better than usual hotel fair. We were extremely satisfied with our stay.

« Great Location in Colorado Springs »

We had a nice stay at the Best Western Plus in Colorado Springs. It was very close to many beautiful attractions. Loved the location! The rooms are clean and comfortable. Good place to stay for a fair price. A little noise from the freeway in the morning, and you might want to have breakfast out. But overall, a nice clean place to stay for a good price!

    « Overnight on vacation »

Traveling from Denver to Colorado Springs, we pre-booked our stay at the best Western plus peak vista-wonderful. We entered the hotel and were greeted with kind friendly service by staff member, Emily. The hotel is clean, the rooms - queen size beds comfortable and cozy, with beautiful mountain views, the pool and hot tub were perfect end to the day after a great hike through Garden of the gods and traveling the morning from Boston and Denver. Breakfast was excellent ham cheese with red and green chili omelette's, rambled eggs, hashbrowns fruit, and waffles - not bad for a continental Great job best western peaks Vista!

    « Very pleasant stay »

Room was very clean, bed very comfortable. Had booked on phone app but days got messed up. Night front desk staff very helpful and even let us use points. She stated with points could only use standard 2 queen bed room. Very very nice for a "standard" queen room. Would highly recommend this hotel for any travel through Colorado Springs

    5
« Great Location for site seeing and city activities »

We enjoyed this hotel for it's location to the tourist attractions and the city restaurants plus I loved the salt water pool and hot tub. Breakfast was good and the fruit flavored water at the entrance was a nice touch.

    « Nothing Special »

For a Best Western Plus and all the hype we were sure disappointed. This facility had been a Microtel and u could tell. We had a room with 2 queen beds, that was all that was available that night. This room was only large enought for 1 king or 1 queen at best. There was no easy chair, like less expensive motels have, only 1 desk chair. So one of us had to sit on the bed. For the price of this room we were quite disappointed. The breakfast was over the top and the staff friendly and helpful. However we won't be staying at a Best Wester Plus again. The beds weren't any good either. For a great bed go to Hampton Inn.

    5
« Excellent hotel in Colorado Springs »

Our vacation through Colorado landed us in Colorado Springs for the final three days of our stay and this hotel did not disappoint, recently updated and with all the essentials room was very spacious and modern. Staff were very helpful with our overall stay and experience assisting in restaurant choices and things to do and see! Overall very impressed!

    4
    « Nice staff »

Nice staff and good breakfast. Nice and clean and a small but functional pool and gym. The hotel itself is a bit bland, a run of the mill business hotel and no restaurant but the staff made up for it.

    4
    « Great place »

We rented a room for one nite since we were playing in a 2 day golf tourni at Patty Jewett. The room was cozy, clean and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Nice free hot breakfast was great also.

    « Awesome Customer service. »

Our stay was amazing and comfortable. Awesome hotel, amazing location and a phenomenal Staff!! Shaina at the front desk was extremely friendly and made us feel right at home. Will definitely stay here again!

    « Will Return Here! »

We really enjoyed our stay at this Best Western. Excellent service, very clean and convenient to a lot of attractions, but far enough from a highway to not hear the noise of traffic. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, the breakfast every morning was delicious & the staff very attentive. Will definitely return to this hotel.

« Great place to stay! »

    « Great Experience! »

We were blown away at how friendly and helpful the staff was, both at check-in and checkout. The lobby was beautiful - always equipped with flavored, refreshing water. The room as clean and extremely comfortable. Our stay felt like we were @ home and it was great.

« Great place to stay! »

The staff, first of all, were the best; very welcoming and friendly. They even called our room to make sure we had gotten settled in and to see if there was anything we needed. The hotel is clean and cheerful and the room was very comfortable. They had 2 infused water dispensers (the cucumber was delicious) and cookies in the lobby for guests. Complimentary full breakfast was extensive and very good. There is easy access to the freeway. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking to stay in north Colorado Springs.

    « Great surprise! »

We booked this Best Western based on the good reviews and we have been more than just pleased. This hotel is several levels above the usual Best Western so the fact that it's called Best Western Plus is true. Great shower head and roomy shower that you'll truly enjoy. The queen beds are comfortable and for a change there are enough pillows. A wall mounted flat screen TV makes viewing easy for the whole room. The only minor negative is the wall unit A/C; it works but you have to leave the fan on constantly to feel comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful and housekeeping prep' the room with lots of towels and toiletries. Well done!!

    5
    « Another good stay »

The staff has always been terrific. Appreciate the front desk calling up after we have had time to settle in to make sure that everything was ok. The rooms are always very clean. Breakfast buffet was good--fruit selection a little lean one morning, but no real complaints.

    « Excellent Hotel »

Good, quiet and safe location. Plenty of parking (although the spots seemed a little too tight). Lobby was gorgeous. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Our room and bathroom were nice and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Nice TV. Fridge and microwave came in handy during our 3 night stay. BEST shower head and water pressure I've ever had at a hotel. Loved the free fresh cookies and water that were waiting for us when we came back from our adventures. We have family in Colorado Springs and every time we go for a visit, we'll be staying at this hotel!

    « Vacation Trip »

We spent 6 nights here. This is a great hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast had a good variety to choose from. We loved the citrus water dispenser and the bowl of mints in the lobby. The location of the hotel was quiet with easy access to I-25 to get to points of interest. Would definitely stay here again.

    « nice, clean hotel »

stayed here on my motorcycle ride on 9/9/16. I was amazed at how clean this hotel is. room was nice and free breakfast was great. I would recommend staying here. staff is friendly and check in is very fast. I did not even have a reservation. I look forward to staying there on my next trip. Mike E.

« Excellent service, very nice rooms and excellent shower »

We stayed here for 3 days. The room was very nice: modern, roomy, very well maintained, and the shower was larger than most, had glass doors, and had a wonderful shower head. The breakfast was very good with some variety each day. The service was excellent and all the employees were friendly are helpful. Highly recommended!

« Nice stay in Colo Spgs »

Good location for us in COS. Many hotels there seem to be a bit in need of updating. This one is new and has everything we expected. The room was clean and fairly quiet. I heard a bit of noise, but my husband said he heard nothing. We stayed four nights and enjoyed three breakfasts there. The buffet has all the standard choices. One morning there was even soup. I saw cartons of soy milk in the little fridge. There was bacon, sausage, eggs, cheese, breads, roll, biscuits, gravy, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, cereals, etc, etc. One morning we left for an early hike before breakfast. Was quite please to see brown bags to "grab and go" which had an apple, breakfast bar and bottle of water. How nice was that? Oh, there is also a pool and soothing hot tub for after the hikes! Also, desk employees were friendly and efficient. Nice people.

« Comfortable and quiet, but the shower was horrible »

We were heading to a wedding, and I wanted to take a shower before getting dressed. The shower control was ridiculous. I assumed it worked like most shower controls, but as I moved the handle around from top to bottom, the water temperature went from cold to luke warm and back to cold. The range for warm was very narrow, and I never could find any hot water.

    5
« Business Trip but always time for pleasure »

Had a great trip to beautiful Colorado Springs. The receptionist at the Best Western was excellent, giving us great tips on sights to see and how to adjust to the high altitude. Clean room, updated décor, and a good breakfast every day made the hotel one I will definitely return to. I was there for business but also took note that this was a very family friendly hotel.

    4
« I would have rated it a 5 if it was not for one issue »

Overall, I was very pleased with this establishment. It is nice, clean, modern. The staff here is super friendly and helpful. My only issue was with the shower. Most showers start with cold water and as you turn the knob, you get warm then hot water. The shower in my room was reverse. It starts with hot and then as you turn the knob it goes to warm then cold. The markings on the shower knob were also reversed. I brought this up to the front desk/maintenance staff and they assured me it would be fixed once we checked out. Other than that one issue, I was very pleased with this hotel.

« Great staff, excellent hotel »

We stayed in this hotel for two nights in August while visiting the Colorado Springs area. The hotel was very comfortable with an incredibly helpful staff. I needed to check in and print boarding passes for a flight the next day and their public computer was not working properly. Shaina, the desk clerk, took the time to get me and my wife checked in and printed our passes from her desk at the service counter. She could not have been more pleasant and helpful. The room itself was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was generous and well done. Additionally, immediately across the parking lot were several restaurants including Outback and a local brewpub.

    5
    « Clean and courteous »

This hotel is very clean and the front desk (day) staff is very courteous and friendly. The breakfast is really good and the pool is very clean! We reserved online and paid ahead and had a cheaper rate saving us almost $50/day. Would definitely stay again!

    5
    « Great Views/Service »

This hotel was extremely clean and the rooms are very spacious. Window seats in the mountain view rooms provide a beautiful view of Pike's Peak. The staff is wonderful, from the front desk, to the breakfast area workers, to the cleaning and maintenance people. We felt welcome our entire 4 day stay. A variety of restaurants are in walking distance and a grocery store is less than 3 miles away. In addition, the hotel is only minutes from the Air Force Academy. Perfect for visiting with your Cadet!

    5
« Always stay when in Colorado Springs »

Our room was large, with two queen beds, large tv set. We love the rain shower heads. It is higher priced over a holiday, however. The breakfasts are really good, and have everything, such as yogurt, toast, cereal, bacon and/or sausage, eggs, to name some. The "containers" are kept filled right up to the time the breakfast is over. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. I cannot answer some of the questions following as we don't have kids, or need handicap facilities, neither have we needed shuttle or taxi services.

    5
« Excellent property with an awesome breakfast »

Beautiful building. The room was well set up, lovely furniture , comfortable beds and very clean. As others have mentioned rooms were small , the smallest BW we stayed in out of 3 on this trip. The location is good and the breakfast was excellent , the best we had on the whole trip. They also had chili one night at 5. The front lounge is great to visit in or sit in. The staff was so helpful even booking the hotel for us on the last leg of our trip home. The only disappointment was the Gym it is so small (almost a joke) and the pool also not very big so we did not use it.

    4
« Great stay but on the expensive side »

The two young ladies at the front desk were exceptional and great representatives for Best Western! (I am unsure, but think their names were Sarena and Gina). Our room was on top floor with a window seat but not much view. Rooms with views for parents weekend at the air force academy. Quiet, clean, and roomy. Breakfast was pretty standard. Lemon and cucumber water in the lobby - nice touch. The price was quite a bit more then our usual rooms booked with BW.

    4
« Good stay a COS Best Western »

The rooms are small, but very clean. Since we spent most of our time outdoors the size of the room wasn't a big issue. It is on a great location to see Garden of the Gods, Air Force Academy, Pikes Peak or Manitou Springs area. The breakfast was expected for a continental breakfast. They also offered snacks and a lite supper on the nights we were there. The pool area was nice and they offer a laundry area.

« Great breakfast and staff »

The Best Western Plus is conveniently located near many restaurants with easy access to the major attractions. The rooms are small but very clean. We figure since we're out and about exploring the area all day, the room size didn't matter too much. I give this a 4 stars instead of 5 because both the room and bathroom were on the small size. There's a window bench which came in quite handy for storing our luggage as I didn't want to put on luggage on the floor. Both the front desk staff (Emily) and the breakfast staff were very friendly, professional and very service oriented. All of the staff working in the breakfast area were wonderful. They were constantly checking on us. The complimentary breakfast was quite nice as there was a nice selection of bacon, scrambled eggs, omelet, pastries, cereal, and fruits. There was something was everyone.

    5
    « Colorado Springs »

We had a very nice stay at the Best Western Plus Peak Vista Inn and Suites. The location was great, our room was comfortable and very quiet, the breakfast was good, and I can't say enough nice things about the hotel employees. They were all extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We will definitely stay there again.

    3
    « Cheap but friendly »

The bed was horrible! If my reservations were not refundable I would have looked elsewhere! Staff were very helpful! Kind of pricey for a cheap hotel! Lots of options for breakfast! Great bacon for breakfast, but eggs were tasteless! They needed chili!

    5
« very helpful staff and clean room and hotel »

I stayed here for four nights (the longest I have ever stayed in one motel ) it was very comfortable large room and good breakfast. breakfast staff were helpful and seemed to care about what they were doing. Staff seemed happy to be doing their job always a plus there. I would stay there again of course .

    5
    « Awesome Time »

My wife and I read Trip Advisor reviews , about Best Western. It sounded like it was to good to be true. We went there and everything, everybody wrote was true. The employees treated us like we were VIPs. The breakfast buffet was awesome and different each morning. The place was super clean. The curb appeal when you pull up is awesome. We will go back next year to see all of the great staff. They also cooked up some good cookies in the afternoon, for everyone.

    4
    « Nice BW Hotel. »

Stayed in Colo Springs BW. Room was clean, quiet & nicely appointed. Morning breakfast was warm, typical scramble eggs, danish & juices. Bacon was a little dry but passible. Only criticism is I requested early checkin because of early arrival and planned meeting with locals. I was quoted a free for $25 for that. I don;t believe that's a good business practice, or friendly to regular customers.

    5
« Guest Service First!! The Best »

What a wonderful hotel to relax at and use as a home base for exploring Colorado Springs and Pikes Peak. The continual infused water in the lobby, the wonderful always ready guest breakfast options (goodies for the oatmeal-nuts & chips), the afternoon warm cookies when we returned from exploring, the very helpful front office staff when we had pizza delivered with no utensils, everything was just great.

    5
« Very nice and excellent customer service. »

The room was above average, the breakfast was excellent, and the check-in process and customer service were exemplary. There are two computers and a printer in the lobby. The only negative is the heavy traffic getting to this location.

    5
« So glad we picked this hotel »

I was looking on the internet for a hotel near Colorado Springs. There were many options, so I looked at customer reviews and hotel amenities. I had it narrowed down to three hotels. One was quite expensive and another had several last minute poor reviews, so I picked Best Western. The front desk supervisor was efficient, kind, helpful and nice to the other staff. She went above and beyond what any other hotel did. Our room was very nice and the breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay there again.

    5
« Clean, quiet, wonderful staff »

As we drove in there was hotel staff cleaning the parking lot. That was a good sign of what we were to find when we entered. The lobby was clean and well appointed. we had requested a top floor room which we received. The hallway while dark and not very appealing was clean. We opened the door and the room was beautifully decorated. There were plenty of pillows on the beds, the linens nice. The towels were great but the best part of the bathroom was the wonderful showerhead. The water pressure perfect. The breakfast was good with lots of choices and the coffee was great not weak like in some motels.

  • 5
« Perfect location - friendly staff - very nice facility »

This Best Western offered the perfect location. We were very happy with the comfort of the beds and the size of the rooms. Breakfast included was a real plus. We LOVED the cookies in the afternoons. The shower has the very best water pressure we have ever experienced. We enjoyed the shower head with the rainforest feel.

    5
    « Very Nice Hotel »

Per the desk clerk this hotel was a Microtel which was remodeled two years ago and became a Best Western Plus. The size of the rooms reflect the hotel's history and they were small; however, the beds were very comfortable and we slept well. We had two rooms and both were clean and well maintained. The baths were small and had only showers, but once again were very clean and well maintained. The room also had a refrigerator which more and more I'm considering a necessity. Although the breakfast was standard fare for this level of hotel it seemed a step or two above. The attendants were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel in general is very welcoming and architecturally appealing. At this price level, about $140/night, I think this is an excellent hotel, much better than the Comfort Inn we stayed at the night before in the Denver area. Based on this experience I'll be giving Best Western more consideration in the future.

    5
« Very comfortable, nice staff, good price! »

I selected the hotel based on location, reviews and price. This BW hotel had good reviews and a competitive price so we reserved it. We were very pleased with the friendly staff, nice clean room and surprisingly good breakfast options. Definitely a very good place for the price.

    5
    « VERY nice! »

This is an upscale hotel. I think it was one of two hotels we stayed at that are 3 star. We did 15 days driving and 14 hotels. Pool was small but nice and clean. Hot tub by pool. Free breakfast was excellent. Rooms very clean and nice looking. Front desk very friendly and helpful. I can't remember the price but I think it was around $130 which we found is normal for the area.

    5
    « White experience »

Was the best place we have stayed at in a long time! The staff was outstanding, rooms were very clean. The breakfast was one of the best! Next time we travel we will most definitely look for a Best Western!

    5
    « Very nice »

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The lobby was amazing. The rooms were very clean. The pool area has a very nice wooden finish around it that makes it very unique looking. Overall it is a very nice hotel and staff are beyond friendly.

    « Everything was excellent »

Best Western has not been our first choice when exploring lodging options on our frequent travels, but the reviews were so good that we thought we'd give it a try while in Colorado Springs. Wow. This Best Western truly strives to impress and to meet every need for travelers. From the warm greeting and fresh baked cookies upon our arrival to the above and beyond breakfast before we checked out, it was all we could want and more. The staff at this hotel is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The decor is lovely and modern, and entire facility clean and well appointed. Our room was spotless and attractive, and the beds were very cozy and comfortable. We even received a call from the front desk once we'd settled in to inquire into our satisfaction with the room! We were glad that we'd read previous reviews here that recommended reserving a room with a mountain view since it was a delight to awaken to see Pikes Peak and all of its sun drenched glory. The breakfast included delicious eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and a wide variety of other typical breakfast items. The coffee was very good and we appreciated the water dispensers with lemon to use for our water bottles. If this is the Best Western upping it's game, we will make it our go-to choice in the future!

    « Friendly Staff »

We stayed here for almost a week during our vacation. The room we reserved was a "deluxe room with mountain view, pillow top mattress, and seating area". The room was no larger than average, but the view was beautiful. The "seating area" was a cushioned window seat - not bad, but not the arrangement I had imagined. The mattress had, perhaps, been a pillow top at some point in its history, but that was no longer the case. It was a hard mattress, and one could hear the springs creaking each time one turned. Also, there is no bath tub, only a shower, and the shower head, although it had good pressure, was very loud. The staff is extremely friendly, housekeeping was generally good, and the kids enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, for the most part. On a couple of occasions they ran out of yogurt, and there were no options for turkey bacon or turkey sausage. The exterior of the hotel is lovely and it was always clean and inviting inside (with delicious infused water available in the lobby), but if we spend time in Colorado Springs in the future, I would check on other hotels in the area and inquire about the age of their mattresses and the shower vs. tub in their bathrooms. All in all, a nice stay if you're not too picky. The "non-picky" members of the family liked it just fine, but for the money spent, I expected better.

    « very nice hotel »

« Good Price and Super Friendly Staff »

I have only stayed in a Best Western one other time but this one was super nice and the staff were all super friendly. The only thing that was disappointing was I had bought the hotel stay through groupon and groupon said that the hotel over looked Garden of the Gods which it did not. Although Garden of the Gods was only a 20 minute drive from the hotel.

    « Great hotel »

Hotel was very clean. Nice pool and hot tub. Hot breakfast with a variety of items and cookies at the front desk every evening. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Only complaint would be the width of the parking spots-were very narrow. There were a couple of mornings we actually had to pull out of out spot to even have room to open the passenger door.

    « Friendliest. Staff. Ever. »

Gina at the front desk was SUPER friendly and helpful! The entryway was pretty and clean. Rooms were clean and comfortable. A nice variety of breakfast items were offered. The dining room was clean and the staff managing breakfast and the dining room were efficient and VERY friendly. We will stay here again.

    « Honeymoon Stay »

My wife and I decided to check out Colorado for the first time on our honeymoon. We searched extensively for a hotel in Colorado Springs that was both affordable and classy! The Best Western Plus Peak Vista has been nothing short of a great experience! The hotel entrance is immaculate, rooms clean, staff friendly! The only negatives I can mention would be that we both found the beds a bit too soft for our personal comfort level, and we were disappointed that the hotel did not offer us any specials related to our honeymoon stay. Aside from these I cannot say enough great things about our experience!

« The reason why we choose Best Western »

I've always found Best Western to give you the best bang for your buck - especially when you're traveling with kids. This Best Western is no different. The clean pool & hot tub area made for a perfect ending to a hot day of climbing rocks at the Garden of the Gods. The room and bath looked like they had just been updated (although the carpet in the hallways looked a bit older/worn). They had coffee & hot water available 24/7 which was also nice (dealing with jet lag). They had a bit more than the usual breakfast - 2 choices of meat (bacon and sausage), 2 choices of eggs (scrambles and southwestern omelette), etc. The only tip - the room with the "mountain view" is probably not worth the extra cost. Unlike the Best Western outside of Sedona, there isn't a balcony or even reasonable window to view the mountains. Besides, the rooms overlook a parking lot and lights really ruins the whole view. Otherwise, another stellar performance by the Best Western team!

« Not one thing to complain about! »

We checked in to this Best Western Plus on the first night of our vacation and it set the tone for our whole trip. The front desk staff was great and there was soup and an appetizer for guest to enjoy in the lobby. The room was clean and modern, breakfast was good with many items to choose from and plenty of seating available. Like I said, nothing here to complain about - great property!

    « weekend get away »

great place to come back to relax after a day of fun. With the swimming pool and hot tub. Didn't use the exercise room. The location was a little hard to find cause it set back in from the street in between two other hotels. I was very impressed to see people out cleaning the parking lot like it was a room. The staff was great, friendly, helpful and always smiling!! The lobby was supper nice and the breakfast was awesome!

« Best stay of our trip »

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was presented nicely, eating area was clean, and all the food was hot and enjoyed by all. Almost certainly stay at this hotel again on our next trip out west.

    « Good Location »

Hotel was clean and had a decent pool, hot tub and fitness center. Breakfast was good, especially considering it was included in the room. Good restaurants are located within walking distance. Easy access and ample parking.

Very nice hotel with helpful staff. Very clean rooms with good included breakfast. Location is handy to garden of the gods and the Air Force academy. New king beds were very comfortable. Nice place for Colorado Springs vacation.

    « Visiting Colorado Springs »

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was incredibly cordial and accommodating and is the main reason I will return vs. going to another hotel. Also, on site laundry is a plus. Great location close to I25 and walking distance to 3 good restaurants and within a few miles of other great selections. I would definitely stay here again.

« best western all the way »

when I travel I stay at best western because they do not disapoint and Peak Vista INN Didn't either, Nice place, no problems, nice breakfast, nice staff, what more could I say?? a real plus it was very close to where we were going and the people we wanted to see will stay there again

« Pretty Good But Problems »

The staff was nice except they seemed to lose track of me sitting in the lobby after I requested an early check-in. The room was very nice and there was a decent fitness room and a very good hot breakfast. One real problem was exiting the motel location. This is on a blind curve and there is very little reaction time for you or oncoming traffic if they happen to be coming around the curve. There is a median lane which is probably meant to address this problem but it felt like being lucky (nobody coming around the curve) rather than safe. One other problem was with a cancelled reservation. This was done after their 6 p.m. previous day deadline so paying the room charge was acceptable but paying fees and taxes for a room that wasn't used doesn't seem fair. The person answering indicated that's what "Uncle Sam" decreed but the taxes and fees aren't federal. Still trying to get a good explanation for this policy (it may be from the taxing authority). Thanks.

« one more reason I stay at best western »

This hotel was very easy to get to and about 5 minutes away from the two places I wanted to visit. The front desk staff was most helpful when ever I had a question . never even considered a another hotel chain

« Excellent Location and Staff »

This was a stop on our vacation through Colorado and was an excellent choice. The staff was friendly and efficient, the rooms clean, and the property was nice. It was close to eating establishments and staff told us to show our room keys to get a discount at dinner. The pool was very nice as well.

« Nice overall, with some small exceptions »

We had a nice stay at the Best Western Plus Peak Vista in Colorado Springs in August 2016. Everything went smoothly with staff and everyone was friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping did a great job, as did the staff providing breakfast. There was a lot of options for breakfast, even if the seating seemed a bit crowded. The room was nice and large and clean and well stocked and organized. There is a nice, peaceful "serenity deck" that overlooks the foothills and Pikes Peak which was very nice, and I liked that food and drink were not permitted out on the serenity deck so that you didn't have people setting up camp out there and being loud and drinking or anything. Just peaceful and quiet with the mountain view. We used the pool (which was fine), but the fitness center had only machines and no free weights and you had to get a key to operate the treadmills which isn't entirely convenient so we skipped the fitness center altogether. But Colorado Springs has enough beautiful places to hike and walk outside that it's fine to forego the weights for a few days. Our final comment (and really the only real complaint) would be on the parking? the parking spots are *so narrow*. I can imagine many people leave with their doors dented from the neighboring car opening their doors just trying to get out and the spots are so small it's a struggle to get out and ensure that you care for your neighbor's vehicle and don't ding their doors. The hotel has signs up that say they are not responsible for damage to vehicles, which suggests they've had complaints before. I'm wondering why they don't just paint the lines farther apart then? We managed to make it without incident, but that's my only suggestion would be for them to re-draw the lines in their parking lot so the spots aren't that small.

    « Family trip »

We used this as a jumping off point for a family reunion visit to Air Force academy, Garden of the Gods and the Broadmoor. Also took easy trips to Pikes Peak and the Royal Gorge railway. Friendly staff and good breakfast for all 3 rooms of us. Would definitely go back again.

« Nothing out of the ordinary »

We stayed here about a month ago. Nothing spectacular. Glad I had paid most 4 out of the 5 nights with a Groupon or I would have been sticker shocked. Hot water was out 2 nights that we came back. They gave us points for the inconvenience? We will see how that works out. . Other than that it was a typical stay. Great location.

« very clean excellent Staff »

IT is Nicely located in the central of everything. Attractions, shopping, food. Etc..Hotel is very clean rooms are excellent condition, and the staff is really awesome. The only thing I do not like about it is the Breakfast is really not much and does not taste good at all.. Other than that everything is really good about this hotel...

    5
    « Very Nice Hotel »

Very good breakfast selection! Hotel is a good size (not so large where too many people are crowding the breakfast area and pool/hot tub). Staff were very nice and check-in/check-out went very quick and easy. Although seemed a little pricey overall, it is competitive w/surrounding hotels. Convenient location to all the sites! Would stay again.

« Great place to stay! »

Stayed here for two nights. Hotel & room looked new and was very clean. Bathroom was on the smaller side/no tub but shower was nice. We paid a few extra bucks for a suite with a view...had a small sofa and a small window. Really not an upgrade but not worth complaining about either. Free breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend.

« Great hotel, great staff! »

We had a great time at this Best Western; the hotel was clean & comfortable and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Our kids loved the pool and free wi-fi. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was hot, fresh and delicious. When we left behind some medicine for my daughter, the front desk staff called us and held it safe until we could pick it up. We will definitely stay here again.

    « Good experience »

We just spent 4 nights at this hotel. It was SUPER CLEAN, and the staff was very friendly. The room we had (double queen beds) was very small, but had everything we needed. Microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine, ironing board). The breakfast Buffett was well stocked, changed a little every day and even offered soy milk. We were very pleased with our stay and Kudos again to the cleaning staff, working hard to keep everything spotless!!!

    « Tiny House Jamboree »

I am really impressed by this Best Western. It far exceeded my expectations. The manager Gina seems to be running a very tight ship. The lemon and melon at check in made my weekend. There was no vacancy this weekend and all the BW staff was very eager to please. I recommend this hotel.

    5
    « Lovely hotel! »

Fantastic hotel and easy to find off of I-25. The lobby was warm and welcoming and had two varieties of fruit infused water all the time. Breakfast was great with a huge variety each morning. Waffles, pancakes, eggs, bacon, muffins, bagels, English muffins and more. You won't leave hungry. Not too far is a shopping center with a Trader Joe's and Costco...plus a whole lot more.

« Clean Modern Comfortable Stay »

Enjoyed our two-night visit here while we took in Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds and other Colorado Springs attractions. Kids using the pool left water on the floor of the lobby near the elevator; and there was no place to recycle our empties (water bottles) - those are the only negatives I have of the hotel. My teenage son was happy with the in-room WiFi...and that's saying something as he did not find it acceptable at many other hotels. Good thing too, because the lobby was small without a lot of comfy places to sit.

« Very nice hotel, super clean »

My wife and I spent a week traveling to, from and in Colorado in July 2016. We have several family members who live in the Springs, but they were either out of the country or in the middle of selling their home and moving. We selected this hotel after reviewing several online. We were pleased with the reviews, photos and location of this property, so we booked three nights for a total cost of just under $600. That's a little more than we normally spend, but decided the convenience of the location was worth the cost. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was better than expected and certainly met our needs as a temporary home. Only two minor issues could have been better. First, the bathroom was beautiful, but the sink vanity was a little too wide for the room, crowding the commode between the sink and the shower. The second minor issue was the relatively short breakfast period. Breakfast ends each day at 9:30 AM. We only ate breakfast on the day we checked out. The other days we enjoyed our vacation and slept in. Not a big deal, but if you want breakfast, you need to get up! The property is located on the northern end of Colorado Springs a short distance south of the US Air Force Academy. Numerous restaurants, retail outlets, service stations and other amenities are within very reasonable distance of the hotel. Many wonderful sights and attractions are within a day's round trip drive from here, including Rocky Mountain National Park, Cripple Creek, The Broadmoor hotel, Manitou Springs, Helen Hunt Falls, Gold Camp Road, The Incline, Garden of the Gods, and downtown Denver. We were very pleased and won't hesitate to book again.

    « Wonderful welcoming environment »

Open area to the front desk with water choices at your leisure; one with fresh cut melon and the other with fresh lemon slices. There was a wall of toiletries in case you needed anything that may have been forgotten. The front desk was welcoming, helpful and answered all our questions before we asked. The room was comfortable, clean and accommodating. Stylishly decorated and tastefully designed.

    « Wonderful »

Stayed two nights to attend a Chris Isaak concert. Comfortable place, good location for interstate access to all of Colorado Springs. Welcoming staff eager to please. Breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, omelets, bacon, pancakes, fruit, yogurt, and pastries. Pancakes were prepared, not cook it yourself. Rooms clean and fresh. Didn't like the 18 inch square pillows and the bed was a bit softer than I like. Otherwise, it was a very good stay!

    « Very Nice! »

We stayed two nights and were very pleased! The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. Love the cold water infused with fruit, such a welcome in the lobby after a long day. The rooms were clean and quiet with everything you need. The breakfast in the morning was more than enough as far as choices and well stocked. Hotel is within walking distance of a couple restaurants and quite central to all the scenic sights in the area. Thanks for a great couple days!

    « Great Stay! »

When we walked in you could smell how clean it was. Everyone in the lobby was extremely friendly. They kept iced flavored water in the lobby which was refreshing and a little area with snacks and over the counter medicine. There was one elevator, but there are only 4 floors so it wasn't ever too big of a problem. Our room was great, 434 & Mountain View. The room consisted of A side chair, foot rest & table for reading, a desk, 2 beds, a window seat bench with dresser. The large dresser had a microwave & fridge and there was a nice flat screen tv on the wall. The bathroom was a bit small but the large shower with pressurized shower head made up for it! A/C worked great. The beds & pillows were very comfortable. I was a little worried about noise being right off the freeway but we didn't hear any street noise. The hallways were a little noisy but in the rooms you couldn't hear anything, except in the shower. There's nothing like singing a duet with a stranger??. Breakfast was good and the ladies working down there were super sweet taking care of everyone and giving suggestions for things to do and places to eat. This was an excellent Best Western!

    5
    « accomodating and clean »

the staff was more than helpful. They served a more than compete breakfast. The room was clean as expected. There was some highway noise and was surprised that there was only one elevator to carry the masses of four floors of hotel guests. Tables at breakfast were hard to find vacant.

« tiny bathroom and early breakfast bar clsoing »

It's a nice hotel however I think the bathroom in the King Suite I had was small. In the morning I arrived at the breakfast bar at 9:35 and the hostess said it closed at 9:30. I am used to other hotel breakfast bars closing at 10:00. I was probably told this at check it but it was a long day of travel I don't remember being told. Anyway I did grab a coffee and sit down. Another hostess brought over a few little cupcakes and I appreciated it.

New up to date hotel, staff were welcoming and inviting. The room was nice and cold. The AC worked great. Free parking and breakfast was another plus to my stay. Bathroom was modern , had a nice strong shower head. Only thing i would change is the pillow size. They werent the normal length but there were about 6 small pillows instead. The pool and hot tub was kept clean. Small gym room. Overall would def book with them again

Great hotel, with re end updates. Great employees, all were kind ans attentive. Awesome free breakfast. Chips and salsa happy hour & cookies at check-in. Pool was good until a child threwup and it was closed down. Convenient area with easy interstate access. If your groom type allows choose west facing (mountain view room) east faces interstate but is quiet and dark in am.

« Convenient for Touring Colorado Springs »

Found this hotel after looking through many options. Brand new hotel. Very clean with a fantastic staff. Breakfast option was great for my family before we hit the road for site seeing. The hotel was located within 20 minutes of all major sites and a 1/2 mile from the major interstate. I would recommend anyone looking to hit the Colorado Springs area to definitely look into staying here. The pool area was small, but very well kept. The room was a little small for our family of 4 but we weren't in it enough to make a big difference. 4 restaurants and a gas station right around the corner.

This was our second visit at this hotel. Customer service was outstanding with friendly staff. Amy, Shaina, and Margeret were super friendly, smiling, and willing to talk and help in any way they could. We will definitely tell people about this hotel and how nice, neat, and friendly it was. Thank you so much you 3 ladies for making our stay enjoyable. We will be back. Good job management for hiring such friendly people. Beds were a little hard for our taste but the customer service off set that by a mile. The Shelburnes from Oklahoma. ??

My husband and I visited some friends in Colorado Springs and we had a wonderful stay. The hotel was very clean and newly remodeled. The hotel breakfast was also well attended each morning we were there. The food was hot and plentiful. The mountain view was remarkable as well.

« Very nice and accommodating »

This was our 2nd stay at a Best Western Plus Hotel. While I did chose this hotel, I was not happy about the cost of the room compared to the quality of what I felt the cost of the room should be. The beds were very comfortable, the a/c cooled the room appropriately and the restroom was clean. The first room we received the a/c rattled so I went to the front desk and Amy had maintenance there immediately. The tech had the a/c repaired quickly, even gave my son a Dr. Pepper for having to disturb us. When I went to use the restroom I barely had room on the toilet! While I am a voluptuous woman I have never had problems fitting on a toilet. The vanity was too close to the toilet thus causing the problem! Went to front desk and asked for another room. Was shown another room and was able to move quickly. We will definitely stay at another Best Western because they have the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on! Another thing I really liked was the breakfast, it was phenomenal!! Fresh eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, etc. Large variety of breads and things to drink. They also had a table set up with grab n go sacks; each one had an apple or orange, granola bar and bottle of water. Very nice to have when going to Pikes Peak or anywhere else for that matter. Con: the cost of the room $189.99 a night is quite high for the quality of the room, but everything else was very good.

    « Well appreciated »

We stayed at this hotel at the end of our vacation. What a pleasant ending! The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room was perfect. The breakfast was outstanding. The pool had adult only times which was very nice. We will be staying here again.

    « Reasonable stay »

Hotel was clean and staff friendly. The breakfast provided a good variety. The eggs were rubbery, everything else was very good. My only real complaint was the pillows - small and lumpy. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The location was perfect for what we needed, a one night stay

Outstanding facility..!! The mountain view from our room was magnificent. Clean, updated, nice variety for breakfast; although time could be extended 30-60 minutes for late sleepers. « Perfect spot to rest! »

The Best Western Plus Peak Vista Inn and Suites was the perfect place to stay for our Colorado Springs adventure. It is close to restaurants and has easy access to the highway. The hotel is only a short drive from all the top attractions and Manitou Springs. We even had beautiful views of the mountains from our hotel viewing balcony. The rooms are very clean and modern. The beds are a little soft for us but we were so tired by the end of the day we didn't mind. The breakfast is good and they change it up everyday. The pool and spa area was clean and at nice temperatures. There seemed to be many families while we were there which made our kids very happy! The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for a better hotel stay.

The hotel is beautiful, updated, clean and in a good location. I appreciated the breakfast but the selections should be varied every few days. « Good facility and good value »

We had a wonderful stay at a very nice facility. The room was excellent and the breakfast was very good. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The only negative was that they charged my credit card before we ever checked in and added a $50 dollar charge for "security". This charge was to be taken off when we checked out, but I had never had these things happen in all the Best Westerns we had stayed in over the years. It left me with the feeling that they didn't trust their "guests". I asked about this and was told this is their normal policy. Just be aware of this if you decide to stay at this facility.

« Wonderful assistance regarding allergies »

Traveling with food allergies is always stressful, not this time. The hotel staff special cleaned our room prior to check-in to ensure no traces of nuts. Without asking, the staff printed out food allergen menus for all their food items! Very friendly and helpful staff. i will most certainly stay at Best Westerns if they are all this Great!

« Best Western is on the come up... »

Super impressed with this hotel. When you think Best Western, you think moderate hotel, good for road trip stops. This Best Western far surpassed that expectation. Probably one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at. The only reason I am not giving this hotel a '5' is because of the bed. The mattress was a little older and I could feel the springs, but for a one night stay, it did fine. The pillows were great, the linens were crisp and fresh. The hotel staff was super friendly and they had freshly baked cookies for new guests upon check-in. Way to go Best Western PLUS Peak Vista Inn & Suites.

    « Beautiful hotel »

We stayed 3 nights in a mountain view room. The room was very nice. All staff we encountered were very friendly. There was a nice window seat with a cushion. There was plenty of drawer storage. 2 if us liked the beds, 2 of us were not very comfortable. The bathrooms are small. There is not much counter space and toliet paper holder was oddly far across from toilet, but that isnt managements fault. Pool and hot tub were used after lots of hiking, the pool area was nice. Breakfast was good but we only made it once because we couldn't get ready by 930. If in the area, we would stay here again.

« Grand Kids birthday trip »

We took our 2 grandkids on a vacation for their birthdays. they are girl, 9 & boy,11. The swimming pool was a hit, as well as the fantastic breakfast. Such a variety of food. The girl loves waffles and pancakes and she got her fill every day. The boy ate cereal and eggs until I thought they would run out his ears!! The Hotel is easy to get to and a good location to get to all the major attractions such as Garden of the Gods, Royal Gorge, Old Colorado City, etc.

« Small Room, Full Breakfast »

Hotel location is a bit boring being mostly around other hotels. There was one restaurant within walking distance, the Old Chicago Pizza and Taproom that looked a bit sketchy and an Outback Steakhouse and a Tilted Kilt(?) a little further but more of a short car ride. One nice thing about the location is the proximity of the New Santa Fe Regional Trail which is a beautiful running trail to the west of the property. The room was a little small but acceptable with a glassed in shower but no tub. Breakfast was very nice with wide range of items: bacon, pancakes, bagels biscuits and gravy and more. Probably the highlight of the hotel. All in all, a nice place of an overnight stay, would recommend.

    « Clean, good breakfast »

There are a couple of resturants within walking distance along with a gas station. The rooms are a little small if you have the two queen option. Be sure to check out their new balcony. My only issue was I booked my room on-line on the BW site and decided to extends our stay. I agreed to the rate, but the next day a couple walked in without a reservation and recieved a $20.00/day less rate than we did. They didn't use any extra promos like AAA. When I enquired, I was told my rate was accurate. Kind of like the cable company, they give better rates to the customers that are not already with them.

    « Interior design »

Our room was very clean but the furniture arrangement was strange: the walkway between the dresser and the beds was so narrow, we had to turn sideways to get past! If someone was sitting at the desk, to get past them you had to climb across the bed. It could be rearranged and improved.. Also only one elevator meant long waits. Having washer/dryer was a nice feature.

« One of the best Best Western Plus' »

The hotel was recently renovated. Room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioner worked great, but the room AC unit was a little noisy. Staff was warm and friendly. The breakfast had more variety than most other Best Westerns.

    « Business trip »

From the staff to the room everything was great for my 8 day stay for a class for work. Places to eat close by with many choices. Shopping, from a Mall to the Costco which has lots of shops and eating places in that area.

« Very clean, pleasant stay »

Great hotel in a convenient area near Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was great with several food options. Very happy with our stay, would not hesitate to stay again.

    « Very nice »

Extremely clean. Very friendly staff. Breakfast/coffee is probably the best I've had at a hotel where its included. Indoor pool is nice. Hotel seems new and the decor and lobby, etc. is modern and clean. Great area by plenty of restaurants. The gym could be better (no weights) just a treadmill, elliptical, and a multi functional cable machine. All in all we'd come back.

« Very Clean!! Helpful Staff!! »

We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend and it was perfect. The hotel is right off the highway and is close to food, we tried a Chicago Pizza place that was very close and it was also great. The hotel was spotless, our room was perfect, very clean, no smell, nice views of the mountains. We had questions about the area and things to do and the hotel employees not only gave us directions but printed them out for us. When we come back to Colorado Springs we will stay here again!!

    « Keep returning »

This was our third stay at this hotel. Enough said? We are going back tomorrow for a two day stay. Surely that's enough to tell you we really like the place. There was one small problem this time. We asked for a room on the west side with a good view of the mountains. They gave us a great room, but there was a tree in front of the window, mostly blocking the view. When you check in, ask about that tree. I will ask tomorrow.

« BEST WESTERN IS THE 'BEST CHOICE'!! »

Great stop! Outstanding front desk(they were so much fun and helpful!), and the breakfast gals were great as well. Room, amenities and location were wonderful. Two exceptions that I should mention: 1. Bath towels were too small = I did mention this to the front desk; and the breakfast was only mediocore(also, no sausage or bacon - which I have enjoyed while staying at other Best Westerns. But overall, it was a great experience and would certainly recommend and personally come back if I need a room in Colorado Springs in the future!

    « Repeat Visit »

We stayed at this location in May, 2016 and highly recommended it to others. Again, we used this location again in July, 2016 and were very pleased. Staff was incredible and the breakfast excellent. Highly recommend this location.

« Wonderful Place to stay! »

Hotel staff was friendly , good breakfast choices and the hotel is very clean. Convenient location to nearby restaurants close to the interstate and local attractions. The area surrounding the hotel is quiet, I will consider this place again.

« best of colorado springs »

This property has it all ! May not be the cheapest place , but definitely the best value. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The staff very helpful and friendly. To top it off there were fresh cookies offered to us at the front desk everyday as we came back in after exploring all that Colorado Springs has to offer. Very nice !

    « Just Right »

I would stay here again. I usually go to a more expensive hotel, but my brothers convinced me this place was adequate for the price (which is lower than surrounding hotels). It's right in the middle of where I need to be--convenient to restaurants, nursing home of my parents, Starbucks, etc. My family and I stayed here during the 4th of July weekend and it was a very quiet, restful place to stay. I especially love the flavored waters available in the lobby. Nice touch

    « Wonderful hotel!! »

We stayed here after a long day at Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. The staff that greeted us was very nice. The room was very clean and the breakfast was great. Only down fall is the pool! It is a little small for such a big hotel. There were kids jumping in and swimming on top of each other. Overall it is a great clean place to stay!

« Run of the mill »

Close to colorado springs attractions- i did not see any reason for "plus". It was yards from the interstate which could be loud. Fine for a nights stay for travelers. Many other chain hotels around to choose from. Staff was friendly. Close to pikes peak and garden of the gods

« Nice Hotel, Great View.. »

We stayed here for three nights in June and couldn't have been happier.. The front desk folks were amazing and even let us check in 90 mins. early.. The complimentary breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the view of Pikes Peak from our room..

    5
    « A wonderful time »

Best Western is a wonderful hotel to stay in they would have breakfast in the morning with variety of foods and drinks to choose from. The building inside and out is very nice. Especially the service they have complimentary cookies at the front desk and things to buy if forgotten at home. The room I stayed in was a two bed,1 bath and had soap and towels, a refrigerator, and a microwave. Including a TV etc. If you get cold at night I recommend bringing a blanket. They have a pool and hot tub on the first floor. They keep everything maintained.

    « Great hotel! »

This was our first time staying at a Best Western plus and I was thoroughly impressed. We just spent 10 days traveling thru South Dakota and Colorado and this was the cleanest best hotel of the entire trip. Gina at the front desk was terrific!

    « Wonderful but....... »

We stayed in room 106 and the Management needs to think about replacing both of the Queen mattress. Lets just say that our feet were higher than our heads! Excellent staff - your front desk could not be in better hands than Gina she is a gem!! She was there last year and again this year and SHE is your true asset!! Can't wait to come back and sit out on our new deck!! Wonderful Hotel!! Fix your beds!!

« I loved all the amenities and it was close to the Air Force Academy. »

the staff was very friendly, anything i needed they did for us, from needed a safety pin, to wake up calls ,and making reservations for another stay. I'm looking forward to the new patio furniture. The breakfast was good but could use some other fresh fruit on the buffet.I loved the fact that the hotel had a washing machine and dryer to use. The ice maker was conveniently on the 2nd floor where we were staying.

« Excellent value for money! »

Just back in UK after Colorado trip. We stayed twice for three nights each time at beginning and end of trip. This hotel is very clean, very comfortable, with lots of extras and well worth the money. Friendly kind staff - especially Gina (front desk) and Margaret (breakfasts) who made a lot of difference to our stay as I was unwell towards the end and they couldn't have been more helpful. Loved the top floor room with view of Pikes Peak. Colorado Springs has plenty to offer the tourist, and this hotel is not very far from Garden of the Gods and Old Colorado City which are stunning. Thank you all so much for our lovely stay - and it wasn't the altitude, it turns out to be viral Labarynthitis so no wonder I didn't feel too good towards the end! Victoria.

« Nice hotel with great staff »

This was our fist time at a Best Western Plus and we were impressed. Gina at the front desk was wonderful and the hotel itself is great looking and clean. Would definitely stay at this hotel again. Nice job all the way around.

    « My stay »

This hotel was excellent - we spent more time in the hotel than initially planned, partially because the room was so comfortable. The fitness room is a little small, but we were the only ones using it as early as we were up, so it wasn't too bad. The pool, post 10 pm, is adult swim and we got it to ourselves for a while which was awesome. Internet seemed solid, but we did not really use it much.

    4
« Clean but no frills »

This is a pretty standard hotel. It's newer so the facilities and rooms are clean and nice. However, I found the rooms on the small side and there is no bathtub in the bathroom which as a mom who has had babies would find this an issue. Each day the hotel offers afternoon appetizers like chips and salsa and something else which changed daily. The afternoon staff were lacking in making you feel attended to and couldn't answer some questions I had, which when I redirected those questions to the morning staff received a very different experience and they were able to help me. It's in a good location, everything you could possibly need to shop at or eat at are directly across the highway, but it is a little bit of a drive from Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls, and Colorado City.

    « Over night stay »

Driving from Yellowstone to Texas required an overnight stay in Colorado Springs Best Western. I am a frequent member/ guest of BW. I usually arrange for overnight rooms while driving and they are very fast an effective. I usually call about 1 hour from the end of my driving no matter where in the US I am located. There is always a BW.

« Clean, friendly, and well located »

The room was very clean, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Upon our return each day our room was cleaned and restocked of items we used. The bathroom was tight but it didn't make things difficult. The room was spacious. The beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was good and well stocked.

    3
« Mountain View, Cold Hot tub »

We arrived just before the afternoon thunderstorm began and unpacked the car as quickly as possible. Check in was efficient and the front desk staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Our room was a little small but it worked ok for our one night stay. We did have a nice view of Pike's Peak outside our window. The sunset was very colorful with the mountain backdrop. We used the microwave for dinner, tried to enjoy the hot tub - garden hose running cold water into the tub made it a not so hot tub and we got wet and got out because it was not enjoyable. The one night we finally had some time to relax and the hot tub had to be worked on. I would think they would try to do the maintenance in the morning before guests try to enjoy the facility but there was no one around to ask just cold water overfilling the hot tub. The beds were comfortable and I did sleep well. The breakfast was good, very busy but the staff did a good job busing tables and refilling food in the buffet. We used the business center to check in for our flights, two computers but only one was working. Check out was very slow with only one staff person working the desk and the customer she was working with had complicated directions needed. She finally worked me in between printing things out for this other customer. So nice to know they are very willing to help you with what you need but kind of frustrating to just be waiting to hand in the keys and get the receipt. Would I stay here again, maybe, I might check other options since it is a bigger city.

    « Good »

The hotel was clean, breakfast was ok for it being free. Rooms were clean. However, I found a huge stain on my pillow when I took off the pillow case. The beds are not comfortable at all, and no matter if the AC is at 68 degrees, I still felt hot in the room. Don't get me wrong, the AC was working, it just didn't feel the whole room was not cool. You would have to literally stand in front of it. Otherwise, the hotel overall was good. I would come back.

    « Road trip »

Everything was excellent. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The place was clean and up to date We were pleasantly surprised of how good the breakfast was. They even changed it up the following morning. Location was close to points of interest and restaurants. Would stay there again if we ventured that way again

« Plaudits to the Staff »

Staff contributed highly to making it such a pleasant stay. Helped us select our dinner location, and pointed out the places that gave us a 10% discount with our BW room card. Breakfast staff pleasant and accommodating. All in all, very happy with our stay.

    « Convenient location »

Just off the highway and next to some eateries. Quiet and clean with easy highway access. It was a short one day trip so didn't get to try many of the amenities. Breakfast was typical for hotels -- nothing fancy. Overall a good value.

« Great Stay for Budget Hotel! »

Great experience for a budget hotel. I did not book the room, just stayed and had a great experience. Clean, nice beds, best free breakfast ever! The women at the breakfast were hard working and offered to clean our tables. Good coffee, and real food. No problem with front desk staff, and hotel had easy access to highway and local attractions.

« Wonderful staff, rooms, and stay! »

My family of six stayed here for the Spartan race in Fort Carson and it was perfect! We got a great price, adjoining rooms (so husband and I could actually get some sleep), and an awesome breakfast the next morning. I was the one running the races, so the kids and husband spent the day in the pool and hot tub and absolutely loved it. We were only going to stay for the one day, but wanted one more, which appeared impossible since it was fully booked. When I called the front desk, she told us she'd let us know if anyone cancelled and she even held the room until we got back from garden of the Gods to make sure we wanted it. Fantastic stay! Loved it! Will be staying every year!

    « No complaints here! »

Just stayed one night in the middle of a move from Key West to San Diego. The beds were comfortable, room was clean, breakfast was good. We even had the back of our truck full of all our belongings and were a little nervous to leave it overnight but nothing was touched. Overall thumbs up :)

    « Staying for my Son's Wedding »

My Family and I had a excellent 8 day stay at this Best Western. We looked forward to returning to our room after each days events. We enjoyed using the pool and a work in the fitness room. My Sons wedding was great but exhausting so it was really great to have a really nice Hotel with and excellent room to come back to and relax.

« Excellent Staff, Great location »

This hotel was quite functional and the location near Pike's Peak and Garden of the Gods was fantastic. It's also very close to the Air Force Academy, although we didn't have time to check that out.The breakfasts were very good with a fair selection of carbs and good coffee. The room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. Internet was free and reliable the majority of the time. The best thing about the hotel was the staff, who were friendly and welcoming. They made every effort to accommodate our every need. We didn't use the pool but it looked clean.

    « Family centered »

The Best Western PLUS Peak Vista Inn and Suites was a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were clean and well kept. The employees were friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and clean. The towels, washcloths were plush and very clean. The only drawback would be the amount of room for the toilet; it would be a tight fit for a very large person, because it is situated between the shower and the sink. Of course, if needed, you could open the shower for more room. The breakfast was delicious, and they had some local flavor on the menu. I really was surprised to find Carne de Puerco con Chile for breakfast, and it was decadent. We enjoyed hot cookies, and fruit and vegetable infused water, which was refreshing and wonderful.

    5
    « Great place! »

The hotel was very nice & clean. Breakfast was good for this level of hotel: eggs, bacon, etc. We enjoyed the room, which had a sofa type window seat, which is big enough for a child to sleep in. The fridge and microwave were good. Nice view of pikes peak from front of hotel.

« Great place to stay!!!!! »

    « Nice, clean room »

« Back again and stll great »

This is one of my favorite places to stay. The staff is great, the room is very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was better than before. We stayed for three days and had a wonderful time. Gina helped arranged the reservation and other staff happily made suggestions about places to eat and sights to see. I will say the price was a bit high this time..

« attention to detail, good breakfast, good location, reasonable rates. »

Thanks, we had an enjoyable time, drove to top of Pikes Peak, had lunch at "The Loop" in an interesting small town whose name escapes me but was started by a carpenter who discovered gold and became very wealthy.

    « Great overnight stop »

Clean, comfortable and really friendly, helpful staff. A great breakfast from 6:30 to 9:30, free newspaper and good restaurant recommendations. Easy on and off from I25, plenty of parking and in a safe neighborhood.

    « Very Impressed »

This hotel is very nice, esp for the price. The pool is in its own separate room so the whole hotel does not smell like chlorine, big bonus in my book. The room has a nice little half divider separating the bed from the couch, a bench seat under the window, and the bathroom was lovely- glass shower doors, granite counters. My only VERY slight complaint was the shower head seemed to be very loud and 2 channels on the TV were not working (didn't come to the hotel to watch TV though!). Overall very nice room for the price, window looked out to Pikes Peak, free cookie at check in, and the morning breakfast was lovely. I would DEFINITELY stay at this hotel again, buy with confidence.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night. Everything is nice, new, and clean. The staff was excellent. Even gave us a king suite at a great rate. I couldn't walk by the front desk without getting a glass of the fruit infused water! One of the best complimentary breakfasts we have ever had. We will stay here every time we are in the area.

I'm here right now! Upon entering the hotel it was apparent the staff were soooo friendly. I arrived a bit early but Gina on the front desk said if she had a room then it's mine. Checked in an hour early. Great Hotel, clean, pool , hot tub, 24hr coffee, great breakfast. 2 restruants within a 2 min walk. Once again GINA is so friendly, funny, professional every hotel should have one!. Stay here!

Excellent staff, great location for travelers, really liked the hotel layout-lobby to elevator to rooms was refreshingly easy, price was one of the lowest. The breakfast area was well kept, nice cold water was readily available in the lobby, and the room was quite comfortable.

    « Very nice hotel »

Great hotel, we bought a groupon so we were iffy but very pleased. It's clean, the beds and bedding are nice, there's breakfast in the am, cookies periodically at the desk, and infused water and coffee available 24/7. Plenty of parking, nice staff. Our only complaint is the general store items are ridiculously over priced. A snickers was 2.69, and one bag of microwave popcorn cost 2.65.. Bring your own snacks!

    5
    « Great room »

We got a kind size room with a mountain view. We loved the window seat in the room. It has the feel of a suite with a partition from the bed area to a sitting area. The hotel was very clean and comfortable.

« Outstanding Staff, Comfortable Room »

We were in town for a college graduation and stayed at the Best Western Peak Vista. From the moment we walked in the door, the staff was just great. Check-in was quick and easy. We asked for directions to the college, then walked down the hall to get a bottle of water, when we came back Ally had printed the directions without us even asking. The room was comfortable and quiet, we got a great night's sleep. The shower pressure was excellent and breakfast was first rate. It was a cold day, so having a warm breakfast as we headed out was perfect.

We've stayed at this location several times this year and last, and have been extremely pleased every single time. Staff is friendly and helpful, price is awesome, (although a bit higher this stay) and room, breakfast & pool are gorgeous! The ONLY down side I'd say there is to this hotel is the road leading to it, full of pot holes and dips, but not horrible if taken slow.

    « don't sleep in the bed »

The hotel, food and staff were great. The breakfast was amazing with meat and hot items with a lot of variety. The room was very clean and offered a microwave, coffee and refrig. Very nice. The bed was not very good at all and had been broken down into a hole that you slept in.

    « Great experience! »

This is a top-notch hotel, from the nice appearance from the street, to the interior. It has one of the prettiest lobbies I've seen in this price range. We had a first floor room off of the main corridor. I wanted to be close to the pool, but was a little concerned that it might be noisy as it was right off the main corridor. The jacuzzi and heated pool were beautiful and clean. Lovely pool deck. We hardly heard a thing once we were inside the room. Very clean room. Enjoyed evening salsa and chips and meatballs. Very nice hot breakfast in a spacious room. Comfortable bed.

Nicely renovated and very comfortable hotel. The staff were wonderful. I had almost given up on staying at best western hotels as they have seemed to have declined in quality lately, but this one changed my mind. Very welcoming and warm reception and management. Free hot appetizers in the evening, very nice breakfast, spa water in the lobby. Ample free parking. Was worried about I-25 being so close but could not hear it at all. Would stay here again gladly.

« Great Stay! Great Customer Service! »

Amy and Melissa were so very nice from the day I called to book a room to the time my family and I checked out. I planned a visit here for a "girls night" for mothers day weekend originally to go to "Indian Hot Springs" in Idaho Springs and when I called them to ask questions to book the customer service I received was very disappointing and seemed I bothered them to even call. So when I started my search in Colorado Springs I came across this hotel and it is just as nice as the pictures! Room was very comfortable, we had a mountain view, and breakfast was good. I was sold on the patience, and customer service on the phone alone. I plan on staying here again for sure in the future! Thank you BEST WESTERN PLUS Peak Vista & Suites for a great stay!

    « A beautiful, relaxing place »

We went as a get away while visiting. The hotel was beautiful and you could see they were still making changes. Can't wait to go back to see the deck they put in. The staff are all in on the future plans. Getting to places we wanted to visit was simple. Hiking, Pikes Peak, Seven Falls was enough for a short trip. We were just as happy, more relaxed in the hot tub/pool.

    « Very helpful staff »

I was very impressed by the excellent service provided by the staff -- everything from replacing our coffee machine to running outside in the cold to open the swimming pool from the back end. They're great. The hotel itself is excellent for this price point. The bed was fine, the room was clean, and the breakfast options were bountiful. I loved that there was a mini-fridge where I could keep some leftovers as well as store more healthy personal breakfast options like greek yogurt. The swimming pool was a bit small and easy to feel overcrowded if more than one family was in there. But still - at this price, I'm grateful to even have a pool.

Had a great trip. Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was clean, had a beautiful mountain view, and beds were comfortable. The free breakfast was great and they had real bacon! Me and my wife will stay there again.

    « Restful stay »

Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and the breakfast is great! What else can you ask for? We stayed there again upon our return. We especially enjoyed the water containers in the lobby that contained different fruits such as lemons, cucumbers, or oranges. That was very refreshing! The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Really enjoyed staying here. Employees at the desk were very nice all the time. Employees serving the Continental breakfast very nice and helpful. Beds and pillows were so comfortable! Rooms very comfortable! Even tho it snowed the three days we were there, we really enjoyed our stay! Would definitely stay next time we are in Colorado!

« Great location Colorado Springs »

My husband and I checked in 4/27 for 5 nights. Upon on walking into the lobby we were immediately greeted. The lobby was very clean. There was fruit water and coffee available all day. Our room 422 with a mtn view, I would highly recommend. Gorgeous view, nice size room, king bed very comfortable. Bathroom was very clean, the only thing don't think the toilet was bolted down properly felt like it wobbled some. All hallways, elevators, stairwells and bathroom were always clean and well kept. The fitness room needed better ventilation the fans didn't work well but it was always clean and all equipment worked. We didn't use the pool or hot tub but looked clean in that area. Breakfast was always hot and plentiful, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, bagels, biscuits, muffins and yogurt, fresh fruit. We got snow when we were there lot and sidewalks were kept clean. As the lobby was kept dry. Overall a great experience and I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

« Breakfasts were great! Water coolers in the lobby excellent! »

Spent three nights. Had two rooms, one for my aging parents, and one for myself. The free breakfasts were excellent! I also enjoyed the fresh water with pineapple and cucumbers in the lobby. The receptionists were marvelous, kind, helpful and cheerful all the time. Don't know how they do it! It's a sign of great management at the site! Rooms were cleaned nicely each day. The weather helped. It was coolish but gorgeous with a beautiful view of the snow covered mountains. Thanks for great time!

Nice clean place, room was clean and very comfortable. The view was really nice from our room. The staff was super friendly. Breakfast was really good. Pool and spa area clean and quiet. Check in process was fast and easy.

    « Great location. »

Hotel has easy I-25 access. All of the staff I encountered was friendly and professional. The room I stayed in was very nice. The bathroom sink and shower were great. The continental breakfast was good and it had a generous size seating area. The room was very quiet although the hotel is located within about 100 yards of the interstate. The location provides a huge selection of dining options within a 5 minute drive. I want to reiterate how cordial the staff is. They made me feel at home.

« Stench from previous tenents leftover food »

Make sure you check your room for cleanliness. You may find some left over surprises, such as a fridge full of food. Room staff will not clean your room to standard, even if you inform them about the smell.

« Second stay because the people are so wonderful »

The service here has been top notch the past 2 years, everyone from the front desk, breakfast area and housekeeping will go above and beyond to make your stay exceptional. Everything is always clean and neat.

    5
    « An excellent place »

I've stayed there each of the past two years (5 days total), and I will stay there again. It's a great base for Colorado Springs. I especially loved the view of Pike's Peak. I was there during a snow storm, and the staff was great.

    4
« Great last minute find »

We booked this hotel at the last minute so my daughter and I could do some sight seeing around Colorado Springs and we were very satisfied with the cleanliness and service we received, would recommend this hotel.

« Great hotel, bummer experience »

Everything was wonderful with the exception of the pool, which was a huge disappointment. It was absolutely freezing and the chemicals were so strong that several people had to go out of the pool area to breath. The kids were all upset they couldn't swim, not to say they didn't try, but even to them it was freezing. So cold it was painful.

« Friendly, contemporary and efficient »

We stayed over a Saturday night. The hotel was busy but quiet. Amenities included fresh baked cookies, water with citrus and hotel mints. We appreciated the welcome bag for being BW members. The property is clean and the parking is well lighted.

    « Very good »

We travel a lot and this is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. The location was great and was close to a lot of attractions. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was very good as well.

« Best costumer service and amenities »

I stay at a lot of hotels this one was by far one of the best I've stayed at. Staff was wonderful and friendly. The hotel it self was very nice with modern furniture and a beautiful lobby, it was very well taken care of, and it was close to the highway with easy access to different things through out Colorado springs

    5
    « Impressed »

We were impressed with a lot of things. The outside of the hotel was nice and modern looking along with the lobby and room. The breakfast was good, nothing spectacular. We stayed in the suite and loved everything it had to offer. We were happy with everything!

    3
    « good value »

This was a good value for our family. The kids loved the pool and we loved free breakfast ;) The beds were not comfortable and the chemical levels in the pools seemed to increase Saturday afternoon leading to stinging eyes and lots of coughing. I asked about getting a late checkout and was told they were too booked to provide one.

    5
    « Quaint »

The room we had was very nice. The bed was firm and comfortable and had lots of pillows. They had a really nice courtyard and the lobby area was very nice as well. The breakfast was tasty. The staff were great!

« Outstanding staff, nice hotel! »

Just been touring in CO and NM, stayed in several Best Westerns, and the staff at this one were so much better than any other, really friendly, helpful AND efficient. BW you should be giving them some kind of award! Each time we needed something (wifi code, small fix to curtains) there was somebody at the door almost before we put the phone down. They remembered where we were going each day and asked after how it went when we returned. One morning I asked about bacon at breakfast, it wasn't meant to be on the menu that day but a few moments later a portion was delivered to our table. Really made us feel welcome and taken care of. Otherwise, it's a good choice. Rooms a little smaller than we're used to in the US but comfortable enough and quiet. Big dispensees of iced, fruit infused water in reception, and free hearty soups in the evening were an added bonus. Would stay here again without question. Just a shame they didn't make more of what could have been a lovely Pike's Peak view from the breakfast area when the place was built!

    « Nights stay »

Very pleased with Clean rooms and great staff. Have stayed at this location previously and had very nice stay and as always the staff and service were very good, as well as Internet. I will plan on staying at Best Western on my up and comming trip to California.

    « Nice modern hotel! »

My wife and I stayed here overnight and we couldn't have been more pleased with the hotel staff and this lovely hotel. We had great views from the third floor and enjoyed looking out at the snow. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the room had a very comfortable bed. We definitely look forward to staying here again.

« Great location and amazing staff »

my family is from MO, It was husband, my myself and our two girls. The location was just perfect for everything we wanted to do. The hotel itself was great from cleanliness to staff. Our youngest daughter is a talker and loves to help so she made friends with the night staff. They were so so so kind to her and did not make her feel as if she was bothering them. We will come back here when we go to Co again.

    « Exceptional value! »

We truly enjoyed our two night stay! They had everything we could have ever needed for our stay! They even went out of their way to make chili on the night of the April snow blizzard!! We would stay again but would try to get a firmer mattress. Staff was wonderful, helpful, professional and sweet (especially, Gina!).

    5
    « Terrific experience »

We went away for our anniversary to a hotel in a nearby town. We like Best Western as they have everything we like. It was a terrific experience, in the hotel and in the town. We went to a local steakhouse Saturday night and a local attraction Sunday.

    « Better than expected! »

Our stay here was great. Whoever the two front staff there was very helpful. They made sure to get us a room the night we need after our reservation was accidentally made for a different day. After we got it switched to the right day they even gave us a better room than what we originally booked for. As for the room, the internet was fast and had no problems with it and the bed was amazing. I slept like a rock (which I don't usually do). If your looking for a great place to stay but nothing super fancy and a good price range and nice area, this is the place to choose! We didn't want to leave our mini getaway.

    5
    « Nice hotel »

This was a very nice hotel. We were happy and comfortable here. The staff was friendly and helpful about the local attractions. The pool area was nice. Overall the hotel was clean. It was in a nice location for us to do the things that we wanted to do.

    « GREAT hotel »

I stayed at this hotel for a two night business trip. Every employee was welcoming and helpful. Check in was easy, the view was great, the wifi was excellent and the breakfast was good. The ladies at the front desk provided directions to various places for me and a great dinner recommendation.

    « Groupon Delivered »

Purchased our reservation on Groupon for our family vacation. I was impressed with the ease of check-in, friendly staff and updated stylish decor of the hotel. The rooms were clean and updated. Breakfast was an awesome way to start the day and the selection of hot entrees was great. It really helped on the budget to get a full breakfast before we started out on our day. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable about the attractions in the area and even had a few suggestions. Overall it was a great stay and we would definitely stay there again, especially if we could get the great price of Groupon discount!

« Clean and well-run hotel option in Colo Spgs »

The Best Western Plus is located close to I-25 in an uninspiring locale (don't be fooled into thinking that Peak Vusta in the name means much). But the hotel itself is very well run. The room was spic and span. The beds were made with military corners. The bathrooms were very clean. The whole hotel seemed rather clean, in fact. And the free breakfast was decent for a free breakfast bar.

    5
    « Comfortable, convenient »

We stayed for a couple of days to explore Colorado Springs with our grandchildren. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Pool was good, breakfast provided ample nutrition to start a busy day. Appreciated the evening soup. Clean room, with great view of the mountains.

    « Perfect Location »

We stayed from March 28th-March 31st.. It's a great location being close to Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak plus many more attractions. First of all the staff is amazing! Melissa is so down to earth we talked every morning at 5:30 am, she knew I was a early riser and made me feel like family while enjoying my morning coffee.. The rooms are nice and clean. We needed an extra blanket for my Son and received a huge comforter.. Perfect! No kids allowed in the hot tub or pool after 10:00 which I Loved.. The breakfast buffet is good. Eggs, bacon sausage gravy biscuits one day.. My Son asked for bacon one day and the gal went back and made it.! The great part was I bought it with a Groupon! So the price was perfect for us.. Thanks Best Western for making our little vacation perfect! I'll be back. ??

« Wonderful Care from front desk!! »

My 40th Birthday and I wanted to travel and I picked Colorado Springs. I picked the perfect hotel as well. I couldn't have asked for a better front desk crew!! Jeanna was awesome, she had so much info of the area and she made us feel like we were all friends. Great personality!!! Love the pineapple/rosemary water they offer in the lobby. It was so refreshing I started making it at home. Beds were cozy with down comforters..indoor pool and hot tub. Our room was cleaned promptly daily. The ladies and gentlemen keep this place running so smooth. Thank you all. Its the one place in my life I decided I would keep as a favorite and always return!!

    « Birthday getaway »

You guys rocked it! Trip got off to a crazy start with a Colorado blizzard, but the staff made up for it - wow were you all super sweet and friendly. Really felt like you did everything possible to make our trip great. If you're not told enough - your friendly attitude was VERY much appreciated! Updates were great, pool was relaxing and the breakfast hit the spot. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making my birthday getaway a great one!

« Great stay for my family of 4 »

Great location, Close to everything we wanted to do and check out! Hotel was very clean and the staff was incredible! I have a 7 yr old and 10 yr old and they welcomed our family with such kindness all around even as my 7 year wanted to talk the staffs ears off and be a big helper. Great breakfast as well.

    5
    « Spring Break »

This is our second time at your motel.. the employees are very professional, polite and welcoming..the rooms always clean and house keeping was always on point. the only complaint(which is small) is the parking spaces are small and very limited. This is definitely our #1 motel and we will be coming back. ;)

    5
    « Spring vacation »

Very friendly staff, girls at front desk helpful & knowledgable about the city & things to do & see. Race was very kind the day we got snowed in & took pictures of us in the snow!! The girls working the breakfast bar were always polite & helpful! Our room was clean and the only thing I'd change is making the exercise room a little cooler. I went in there a few times to run on the treadmill & it was quite uncomfortable.

    5
« Good clean budget hotel in CO Springs »

Like most Best Western hotels this one is conveniently located (a short block from I-25 and a mile or 2 from shopping & dining places.) They were able to accommodate us in a snow emergency and we wound up with a very clean, modern hotel room at a very reasonable price. Would stay again for sure.

    5
« Is this really a Best Western? »

Our family made emergency reservations at this Best Western on our smartphones during a long road trip home (to Denver) after having driven all day from South Texas when I-25 was closed for a huge blizzard. If I hadn't asked, I would have never known that prior to the blizzard the hotel staff were expecting only about 15% occupancy when they suddenly had 100%. I would have never known because they pulled off an AMAZING experience for us. They seemed to have it all together. Also please let me just say that this property is beautiful. What a great property for a Best Western, I can't believe this is a "value" class hotel. It's so much nicer. The room was a bit small but it was just a standard room and it had everything you could imagine needing including a refrigerator and microwave. The room was spotless and well maintained. The pool and hot tub are fantastic as is the lobby and breakfast area. When we arrived we were greeted by the most fantastic front desk staff. They were professional, kind, helpful, competent, and over-and-above the call of duty on every level. The breakfast area had a couple wonderful soups for all their weary travelers (such as ourselves) arriving off a cold icy highway... I can't tell you how good that made us feel. Throughout our short stay the staff was on top of it with every need, they were just hands-down amazing. Breakfast the next day was also great and the green chili and eggs was such a welcome addition after a week in other hotels which all seem to have only biscuits and gravy! They also had many other fresh choices for breakfast. The best part was the price. Because of our situation we could have been gauged, but the staff made sure we had the best rate available and man was it ever a great value. I would stay here again and again. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

    « Best Best Western! »

Just did a two week road trip around Colorado and stayed in quite a few Best Westerns, this was by far the best. The desk staff were very friendly and helpful which gives you the all important first impression of a place and forms your overall opinion. The rooms were very clean, spacious and had great showers. Nice big television too. We stayed here at the beginning and end of our trip and couldn't fault either stay, would thoroughly recommend!

    4
    « Family Vacation »

The hotel is very nice, clean, and affordable. The kids loved the pool! The hot breakfast was great. We enjoyed the hot coffee and warm cookies upon our arrival. The only complaint; not receiving a printed receipt of our bill to view the charges. We stayed in the hotel using our points. The clerk said the charges would be e-mailed. We never received an e-mail. We had to go back to the hotel and have the same clerk physically print our receipt and charges. :(

    5
« Not the Best Western I remember »

Very happy with our stay here. The kids loved the pool. The hot breakfast is awesome with Biscuits/Gravy, Eggs, bacon, yogurt, oatmeal, breads, cereal. The beds were very comfortable and clean. Great price for all that you get.

    5
    « Stuck by a blizzard »

Excellent hotel! If we had had time to stay another day or two...definitely would have stayed at this one! Very busy (interstate had just been closed northbound to Denver), yet front desk staff remained calm, cheerful, and efficient! Room was very nice. Hot breakfast was plentiful and filling! Definitely a thumbs-up!

    5
    « Church Group »

I brought my Church Youth Group to this hotel for a spring trip. We had 5 rooms with 15 kids ages 11-18 and 5 adults. Anytime you travel with this many kids you always prepare yourself for trouble at the hotel with feeding swimming getting luggage to the rooms checking in with multiple reservations discounts etc. This however was not the case with this hotel. The staff met every need we had, and my group was very needy, from helping us figure out where to take our kids due to weather changing our plans to helping us with paper goods when we ordered pizza. Overall the staff helped so much with our trip and helped us avoid potential stress that comes with travel and this stay serves as a reminder as to why I choose to stay at Best Western when I travel.

    5
« "Great value, cleanliness, and great customer service!" »

The hotel was very clean and great customer service. The room was extremely clean, neat, and tidy. We stayed 3 days and each day breakfast was different and was delicious. They also have infused water at the front by the check in desk (free). The kids enjoyed the pool until 10 pm then they have adult swim from 10 pm - 12 pm; hot tub available. They had a fitness room; really small but had the basics. The location of the hotel is great and if you are lucky to get a room with a view even better. Would highly recommend; price is reasonable for the great service that you receive.

« Great place to stay and very helpful with making our stay comfortable experience. »

Booked through trip advisor while travelling home from Laughlin to Canada. Rooms and hotel are very clean and comfortable. Staff was very accommodating especially for my senior parents. Restaurants close by. Would definately stay again. Well worth the price.

« Fabulous place to stay! »

This hotel stay was wonderful. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable, the room was exceedingly clean and we had no problems whatsoever. We were there for three days and enjoyed it very much. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality hotel at a reasonable price.

    5
    « Great value! »

We enjoyed the free hot breakfast and the indoor pool & hot tub! Great location too--close to many Colorado Springs attractions! Would have enjoyed our stay even more if we had brought our porta-crib or if the hotel had one for our use...as we all lost a little sleep because of this.

    « Great Stay! Recommended! »

My wife and I stayed at this location for a 3 day trip to Colorado Springs and Surroundings. The location is good with restaurants and Gas station at walking distance. Shops are not far way either. The staff at this location was great. Very friendly and courteous, not to say accommodating with our requests. The lobby and the room seemed well kept, with a modern touch. Our room was super clean and the bathroom felt new and didn't have that "hotel look and feel", perhaps because it was not a shower/tub combo, but a head shower (what I prefer personally). Nice touch having a glass door instead of a curtain. Some may feel that the breakfast is not as diverse as other brands, which I tend to agree, but not to make me knock off a rate from this review though.

« Great value and location »

Very clean & modern and a very friendly and helpful staff. Parking was easily accessible. Breakfast was tasty, but the dining area filled rapidly and used the lobby/check-in area seats. easy access to I-25.

    « Slightly disappointing for a plus. »

I always look forward to staying at best Western pluses. This motel looked new? I think it probably was new or just renovated. But not the most clean.. Dirty elevator, and we got a room with two queen beds and we had to switch beds because their was hair and fuzzys on the sheet. Staff was friendly though.

    5
« Great for both business and family »

Staff was outstanding and I hated to leave. Here on a business trip and found they had outstanding help at front desk. Room very clean and comfortable, plus quiet. Free breakfast very good but crowded around 8 AM. Get there early. Family groups were prevalent and they are just off of I-25, exit 149. Lot's of stuff to see and do, not sure if I get a chance to do much while here. I had only one minor concern and that was the "modern" shower could have had another hand hold but it was very insignificant. I would stay again if I am this way again.

« Clean, comfortable place to stay! »

We were in Colorado Springs for just a few days, to take a mini vacation and I was so glad that I had booked with the Best Western Plus Peak Vista Inn and Suites. It was so clean, and comfortable. Everyone that we came in contact with that worked there, were amazing and super nice and helpful. Such a nice touch to have cookies and water up front. If I had to have ONE bad thing to say, I might say that the bathroom is a bit small, but really....it's not like you're there to sleep in the bathroom!! Can't wait to return the the Springs to stay there again!!

    5
    « Great Place »

The hotel is located right off the highway, easy to get to. There are nice restaurants you can walk to. The updates are nice and modern looking. The staff is very pleasant and the hotel offers a great hot breakfast.

    « Exceptional quality »

I can't say enough good things about our experience here. The facilities are in amazing condition, and all the employees we have met go above and beyond. They have talented staff, and the management and ownership have taken great pains to make it an unforgettable and eye catching hotel. I'd recommend the King suites qith the mountain view, truly stunning! To management, keep your team here happy, as they are highly effective. The improvements are noticed, and we apoke about the stunning improvements to other guests. We will definitely be back!

« Best Western Upgrade Work »

    « Great Hotel Experience »

This hotel was great! Our hotel staff was kind, friendly, helpful and informative. The breakfast area was clean and orderly and had great options. Our room was neat and smelled clean (always a plus!) The only bad thing was that the hotel pool was closed that week which would have a been a great option for our kiddos. But really overall it was very nice!

    « Family/Business Trip »

We were traveling to Colorado Springs because we wanted to visit family and our son had job interviews in the area. I was interested in the Best Western Plus because it had good reviews and the pool area was very nice. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the hotel, the pool was closed for cleaning, so we did not get to use it. While we offered the chance to go across the way to the Hampton Inn to swim, I don't feel it was a viable option.

« Just what we needed »

Perfect location for the seminar we were attending at the hotel right next door that was almost $100 more per night. All the staff members from front desk to housekeeping were extremely professional and extra courteous without being too personal.

    « Wonderful Stay! »

The hotel's decor is modern and beautiful, breakfast was yummy, everything was clean and crisp, and the staff was very nice. I had the chance to meet 8 staff members, all wonderful, but the two that stood out to me were Gina and the man working 3/4-3/5 audit shift. Thank you all very much for a great stay!

« Comfortable, aesthetically pleasing rooms, friendly staff and good hot breakfast. »

This hotel is in a great location for my business trips. The rooms are quiet, some have a nice mountain view and the beds are soooo comfortable. It has a nice pool and decent fitness center. It's a great value and easy on my expense budget. There are some decent restaurants and a Whole Foods nearby. I'm always happy with my stay and keep coming back.

« So helpful and freindly faces »

We were in town for a funeral. We had a great view from our room, heated pool, and friendly staff. The breakfast was fresh and had variety for anyone's taste. Next time I travel to the Springs, I will be staying with you. My only complaint would be I wish the mattress felt more like a cloud. It was a little on the firm side.

    « Delightful stay & delightful place »

We stayed here to celebrate my husband's bday. It was excellent! The deluxe room was nice & big (though bathroom was small) and beds were terrific. We slept like bricks. The people where very pleasant and quickly accommodating, from the front desk to the housekeeping. The breakfast had good choices & such gregarious, delightful staff (!). I was glad to have the pool (our kids enjoyed it) and the fitness area. We would absolutely stay here again. Many thanks for an excellent stay overall (the place, amenities, and especially the staff were the reasons why).

    « One restful night »

We arrived after 9pm and were welcomed by friendly staff that explained everything very well. We had a on night stay and rested well in the comfy bed, our room was nice and clean with a great mountain view. The next morning we had a full warm breakfast (eggs, bacon, hash browns, all kinds of bread, bagels, danish's, yogurt, juices, fruit, cereal), the breakfast server even brought out fresh egg and brought it to our table. The location was only under 20 minutes from Garden of the Gods. Definitely coming back when in Colorado Springs, quality stay!

« Great room, Breakfast okay »

Peak Vista is probably one of the best BW's we've stayed in. The rooms are not only beautiful, they are practically designed for the traveler in mind. I loved that they provided not only a luggage rack, but a window bench seat and ottoman too - great for ALL the luggage. They have a beautiful waterfall feature in the lobby, which is not only big, but has area corners with chairs, ottomans and tvs if solitude is craved. And I REALLY appreciated that the are a non-smoking, pet and cannabis free property, enforcing that with a $250 'deposit' that is only refunded if the room stays that way. I also liked their 'happy hour' which was a bowl of potato- bacon soup. That being said my breakfast was less than great - edible but I've had way better at BWs. Eggs were okay but the bacon was overdone -jerky really - and the hash browns were the same. There were a variety of mini miuffins; the apple I selected was so sweet I couldn't finish it. The coffee tasted a bit burnt too. Next time I'll just have cereal or a bagel.

    « Very nice! »

We got a king room, the room had a goofy little divider and one side had the bed, tv, microwave, and mini fridge. The other side had a couch, desk, and coffee table. The room was very clean and nice. Housekeeping kept it spotless for us, which was nice. The front desk attendants were very helpful. The best thing about this hotel was the breakfast. Every morning there was a different menu and there were some very sweet young ladies who were making sure everything was still fresh and awesome when we got breakfast. This place was great. 10/10.

    « Great place & great price »

We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. Staff where friendly, it's in a good location with restaurants nearby. Free breakfast that included hot items like, eggs, bacon, french toast, toast, cereals, yogurts and so on. Bed in room #102 is sinking in the middle and was soft so that might be a problem for some. Very nice property!

« Great stay and beautiful hotel »

Stayed here last weekend while in the Springs. Beautiful hotel, very clean and helpful staff. Great location close to many reaturants and Air Force Academy. Breakfast area was large and was pretty good. Love the Colorado photos used throughout the facility. Lovely room and bathroom. Large glass front shower with large square shower head. Only issue is the shower, not a reason to Not stay here just be ready. Shower is Really Loud when turn to hot does not make noise on cold. So loud could hear the rooms around us as well. My 12 yr old actually made me come in cause she thought something was wrong with the shower head however when she came out she said, "I love that shower once I got use to the noise!" We did mention to clerk when checked out. Once again beautiful Best Western and will use them again in future. FYI if never been on Front Range in the morning peek out the front windows so you can enjoy the "Purple Mountain Majesty" of Pikes Peak at sunrise. We use to live here and never tired of seeing that beautiful site of the Mountains in the morning.

    « What a treat! »

The people, the room, the breakfast - golly that's everything - was perfect. Oh I forgot to say that the shower and shower head were top drawer. We loved the cleanliness of the room and the ability to control the temperature. The quality of the room and what we paid for the room was remarkable.

I live locally but use this hotel as my Mommy getaway so I am close to my kids in case of emergencies. I've stayed at this hotel 3 times and have had a pleasant experience every time. Rooms are clean, staff is super helpful and friendly, and the breakfast is yummy. This is also the hotel I refer my family too when they come to visit.

« Good, but not what it could have been. »

We upgraded our room to the top floor corner suite so that we could have a view of the mountains. The room was clean the bathroom floor was pretty and everything looked recently upgraded... My issues were the size of the room (felt small for a suite, very narrow), and the view offered. One tiny window faced the mountain, the other three all faced a parking lot and another building... The window that faced the mountain was so small and placed so poorly that you couldn't see anything from the bed, which is the only place to sit in that room. At night you can't see anything because the lights from the parking lot are so bright. The bed was new but very soft, if you prefer a firm mattress, like myself, look elsewhere.

    « Nice, clean place »

I used a groupon for this stay so I got a very good price. The hotel was very clean, the staff very polite and responsive. The rooms are a little on the small side but it was nice to have a microwave and a fridge as well being clean. The pool is rather small but the hot tub worked well and was clean.

« Colorado Springs Business trip »

First floor room, near pool area which can be loud due many hotel guests using the pool area and partying. Room was fine, bed mattress was worn out. You would lay in the bed and fall into a curve. Breakfast each morning is a great value and overall the hotel is a great value with ideal location.

Great hotel! I will definitely be staying here again. Clean, quiet, stylish rooms and a very friendly staff. Great location with mountain views and easy access to I-25. The hotel staff were very friendly & attentive! I was cheerfully greeted by three different staff within the first 5 minutes of going downstairs for breakfast. The breakfast was exceptional. The hotel is clean & beautiful, with all the comforts I could want. I enjoyed the beautiful walk-in shower with a neat shower head. I will definitely return to this hotel!

    « Comfortable stay »

Lovely hotel and a very clean and comfortable room. A standard hot breakfast was included in the price. I am travelling with my parents and daughter and the room was large enough to accommodate us all comfortably. Friendly staff and an Aussie Outback Steakhouse is located nearby and this was a real treat.

    « Great experience »

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a total of 4 nights. It is in a great location right off the interstate and close to many food options, a mall, and multiple tourist attractions. Definitely go to Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls, and Cave of the Winds to name a few beautiful tourist attractions - all within a few exits of the hotel. The hotel room was clean and the breakfast buffet was above and beyond what we expected with many options to chose from. They also had complimentary soup some nights. We got a Groupon and the check-in/check-out process only took a few minutes. Our room also had a beautiful mountain view! Overall, we were impressed with the quality of our stay.

We stayed 3 days and 2 nights. It's an exceptionally clean. The staff is kind and helpful. The breakfast is great. There is bacon, eggs, toast, bagels, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, yogurt, fruit, cereal juice, milk, tea, and coffee. Every evening there is a soup dinner. It is simple, but free! The pool and hot tub look exactly like the online photos. It was a lovely and pleasant retreat. I highly recommend it.

The room was nice and the staff did a great job during my extended stay for business. Hot breakfast, comfortable bed, nice size refrigerator in room and microwave. Happy with in room coffee maker, and again staff very accommodating, especially management. The price was excellent, and received beyond expectation. Of course I used a Groupon for a three nights, and my reward points for 4th night. Think Groupon available because they are remodeling exterior entrance.

    « Unbelievable Price »

For Christmas break I took my kids to this hotel for their indoor pool & spa. The rate was only $68 with my military ID card, unbelievable! The pool & hot tub were very clean, towels were readily available, and the staff was very attentive to all of our needs. Even with some construction work going on at the entrance of the hotel, the hotel was quiet and a very comfortable atmosphere. I have never rated a hotel but this hotel has set a very high standard for my future ratings. Thank you for your hospitality.

We stayed at this hotel during the Christmas week and enjoyed wonderful service from the entire staff. They had a good variety at breakfast every morning. « One of the best at this price »

Very seldom do I rate a hotel so high but this one pushed all my buttons. It was clean, the staff was great, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was enjoyable. Any hotel at this price point that has sausage and eggs for breakfast scores points from me. The hotel was adding a deck above the entry that made the entrance difficult to access and made getting out things inside in 20 degree whether challenging. I did notice the front doors were bi-fold not the usual sliding kind, making passage though the doors quicker and easier. The beds were very comfortable , the shower had plenty of water, it was clean with up to date fixtures and the commode was higher than usual making it more comfortable for me. The room was very clean, up to date and had a very pleasant feel. The beds were just right and I thought the pillows were great. The staff was helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and actually happy to see me. I like any hotel that serves a real breakfast and this one did with cheesy eggs, sausage, pancakes along with biscuits and gravy. Only a few possible negatives for some, not me, would be no hair dryer and thank you, no waffle machine. I will stay here again.

    « Very enjoyable stay »

I had to work for 10 days in Colorado Springs, and this was a great place stay. The rooms were a good size with lounge area. Good size bathroom with powerful shower (no bath). Breakfast was included with a fair choice. However I only paid around £50 per night, so what great value. Friendly helpful staff, plus 3 decent restaurants across the car park, I would recommend this hotel as a good place to stay.

very good, stay I do not like completing a survey with a written review, this review is the worst part of the Best Western experience. Tell the marketing department that requiring a written 200 character review is awful. I have no other comments but have to make 200 characters hope I can get out of this soon so that I may get back to work.

The staff was very nice and helpful! The room was nice and clean! The bed was a little too hard for me but it was okay. Breakfast was great! Overall, it was a very nice and relaxing night! It didn't cost me a penny because I used my points, which was even better!

« Not up to "Plus" standards »

Beautiful public area. Excellent staff service. Standard hotel breakfast. The room was another matter. We had a room with two queen beds that was obviously designed for one bed. In our experience with Best Western's other "Plus" hotels, the rooms have always been fairly large. Certainly not the case at this hotel! The HVAC unit was extremely noisy, to the point where we had to shut it off to get any sleep. There wasn't anything broken or rattling, it was just unit design. It was a mild night when we stayed there, so turning off the HVAC was no problem; however, it would be a different story when it was cold or hot outside.

We visited this hotel twice in the last two months and enjoyed both of our stays. All the employees were helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant. The rooms were clean and attractive with all the extras you would need. The breakfast was prepared and served very nicely. It tasted good and there was plenty of it. The extras that this hotel offers makes it like home.

    « Slippery slope »

We checked in on the evening before Thanksgiving. We parked in the rear of the parking area because we had a trailer and there was more room in the rear. As we walked in from the back my wife slipped and fell on a patch of ice. We told the lady at the desk what had happened just to let her know so hopefully no one else would fall. When we got to our room she called to check on my wife. The next morning we decided that she should seek medical treatment because she was in pain. The staff were extremely helpful in helping us find a location that was open on Thanksgiving and they were very concerned with her well being. It turned out to be only a sprained wrist. I really appreciated the fact that they had my wife's well being in mind. We will definitely stay here next time we are in the area. The rooms were really clean and they had the best breakfast we have ever experienced at a Best Western.

    « Totally Surprised! »

When I booked our stay, through Groupon, it was a really good deal that I was hesitant to book after reading a couple of recent reviews about alleged theft by hotel staff. I was throughly impressed! We booked 2 nights in a 2 queen bed room. The whole facility was recently updated and looked very nice. The room, although smaller than normal, was very nice and the bathroom was updated with a huge shower. Pool/hot tub and small work-out room were very clean. I can't remember the last time I stayed at a Best Western, but I sure will if they look like this one. Easy to find right off of the interstate and w/in walking distance to an Old Chicago and Hooters. The continental breakfast (free) was out-standing! Eggs, bacon, biscuits/gravy, toast, waffles, sausages, fruit, cereal, yogurt...all excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful and even concerned with our safety as we headed out into the snow for dinner. The only complaint I have is the beds, they were rather firm but that didn't stop anyone in my family from sleeping. We will be back!

    « Very pleasant! »

We came to Colorado Springs for a weekend stay to see family & for my husband daughter and I's first family getaway/road trip! It was very pleasant like the former reviews have said, it was conveniently located in town! Friendly staff! Our room was nice, we had the 2 queen deluxe room on 3rd floor. Clean and well kept through out our stay. You can hear in the hallways people talking in the bathroom or showering, so remember to be quiet or someone will hear your entire conversation or other noises clearly :) Our breakfast choices were nice, could have used a few more tables with as many guests that were there each morning! Lobby was well updated/decorated. We thought the swimming pool was pretty cold could definitely be warmer! Hot tub was nice! Overall a very pleasant stay! Would recommend!

Overall was a good night's stay. The room very clean. The pillows always seem to be little and uncomfortable at Best Western. The receptionist checking in and out was very helpful and professional. I don't think you can beat the room at the current price. Very Happy with our stay.

« Good Value for Price »

The hotel is well located and clean. They provide a good, hot breakfast with a lot of selection. Good staff has a positive attitude in their desire to help. I recently spent ten days here on a business trip. My only, very minor, personal complaint is that the mattress was too soft. However, the price to value was excellent and well within my travel budget. I'd stay again.

« A great stay close to many wonderful places »

I've always enjoyed this hotel. The rooms are very lovely and nicely updated. The mountain views are amazing. It is close to the interstate so you can easily get around. It is not more than 5 minutes drive to many wonderful dining options. My only real complaint with this being the second time I've stayed at this hotel where I've had to go to a different floor for ice. Not a huge thing, but worth noting.

« Peak Vista in Colo Springs »

Overall, the stay was enjoyable. HOWEVER----The hotel advertises a 46 inch TV in the King Suite. It had the WORST picture I have seen on a TV in years. It definitely wasn't HD. PBS is NOT one of the channels they carry and I primarily view PBS. The bathroom vent fan did not work so the mirror fogged up with a shower or any other hot water use. The wash basin is in the toilet and shower area, so the washbasin is NOT available for anyone else to use when t he bathroom is being used. Weekends are always busy and it looked like there were quite a few people staying at the hotel. Food items were constantly "out". Two women were trying to keep up with the demand, but that wasn't enough. As soon as they would replenish a food item, people would rush up and fill their plates because the item had not been available earlier. In just a minute or two, the replenished food item would be OUT. On weekends they need a couple more people to keep up with the demand between 7-9 am.

« Great place to stay. »

Located north of town on Commerce Center Drive, this hotel is in an area with several other hotels. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby and a very short distance to Garden of the Gods, etc. The rooms are nicely appointed and clean. The hotel staff are very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. They are a great source of information about attractions and restaurants. All in all, a very good place to stay. Nice complimentary breakfast Buffet. I would return. Kudos to Regina and Celeste for making our stay so enjoyable. Easy access to the highway north.

« ANOTHER GREAT BEST WESTERN EXPERIENCE- GO AND BE IMPRESSED »

We travel a lot. Sometimes we spend a lot on our stays and sometimes we look for a good deal. I found this hotel on Groupon and had a fabulous experience. The staff was amazingly impressive. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The manager, Regina C., came up a couple of times during our stay to check on service and food. Regina was the epitome of great service! The breakfast bar was complimentary and had great hot dishes as well. It was different every day. The room was clean and comfortable.

« Great value and location »

Right off the interstate, near restaurants, (Old Chicago, Hooters and Outback Steakhouse) and just a couple exits from Garden of the Gods park. Got a great groupon and needed adjoining rooms and the staff made sure the request was taken care of. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful all the time! They have an open lobby where they serve a pretty darn good FREE hot breakfast! Stayed on 3rd floor (there are 4) and it was quiet except sometimes the room doors do bang shut. Rooms a tad bit small but very modern and comfortable. Beds very comfortable. Love the window seat that can be used to sit in to see the view of the mountains or put all that luggage up there. Ice machines and vending on 2nd and 4th floor. Hallways very warm but rooms were very easy to regulate with air conditioner or heat and wasn't loud. Pool area clean but small, workout area large.

« Most horrible hotel experience ever!!!! Terrible management! They will STEAL your valuables. »

My husband and I were so excited to stay here until we did. Upon arrival we thought it would be a good stay. Although it was not as great of a mountain view as described it was still a clean, modern hotel room. The second day my husband and I had a whole day of adventures planned we left early in the morning and didn't return until late (12 hours later) upon returning we discovered his wedding band was missing from where he left it. He panicked becUse we noticed the bed was made up from housekeeping. I tried to stay optimistic but after searching the entire room it was obvious it was not there. We notified the front desk immediately (it was around 1030 by this time) and they told us to come back to the front desk at 6am when the manager would be there. We did just that only to be ignored, lied to, harrassed, and get the run around from everyone. At 9am we decided to call the police because it was obvious they were not taking us serious. We were told by the assistant manager there was nothing they could do if a police report was filed, but at that point the police were not giving us a time of arrival (they ended up taking 11 hours to show up and make a report). At that point there was no report filed so you would think management would try coming up with a plan of action but they refused. We were told by the assistant manager, Justin, that he would 'stand on' the house keeper who went In our room did not steal the ring, but come to find out later he had only been in CO for 3 months and probably employed there less than that. Justin also harrassed us even stating that he didn't want to do anything to incriminate us, that he was going to call the police on us (because we wouldn't leave the lobby or be quiet about what was happening). Regina and Justin also lied to us one telling us no one could go in the room until the police arrived, the other telling us that they received approval from upper management to clean and rent the room out because they had to ( in which we caught them in a lie when they both told us separate things.) fast forward to when we were back home we were told to follow up with Nikki (Manager) and she would discuss the issue with us further. After over 20 calls and messages with no response we gave up on reaching her. Long story short, either don't stay here or don't bring anything valuable with you we are lucky this was the only thing missing but also heart broken because we were on our honeymoon and made out to be the criminals when we were the victims.

    4
    « Nice Stay »

Overall, it was a nice stay, we were next to the electrical room, so we could hear a slight hum the whole time we were in the room. Also, the window in our room looked directly into the indoor pool. I didn't mind, but it was kind of strange looking directly at people getting in and out of the pool. The room was clean and the breakfast was very good, as usual.

    5
    « Great location »

Great location, approximately 15-30 minutes from the vast majority of attractions in and around Colorado Springs. Convenient access to the highway to get you wherever you need to go. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, some even within walking distance, though these are chain restaurants so if you're looking for something unique to the area, you'll have to drive there. This hotel is clean and well-kept. Fancy lobby for a Best Western with a neat fountain and free lemon or lemon/cucumber infused water. The breakfast area has many tables and a varied menu of typical complimentary breakfast foods but still good. Nice pool and hot tub for unwinding after a day of hiking. The rooms are modernized and large-- reminds me more of the Hyatt layout with couch, small room divider, king bed. Mountain-view rooms have nice view (out over the parking lot) of the mountains in the distance with a large window seat to enjoy the scenery. The bed was a bit firm. Had plenty of pillow options though. Loved having a mini-fridge and microwave to store and re-heat leftovers from dinner the night before, etc. The bathrooms are very nice- the vanity has shelving underneath to store toiletry bags, very convenient. Nice glass-door shower. My only complaint the whole time was that there is just one elevator, so you could be waiting for a bit. But there are only 4 floors, so it's not terrible and not a deterrent for staying here again!

« not my favorite Best Western »

Recently I booked a package through Orbitz including airfare, hotel and rental car. This hotel looked like a nice place however, we were disappointed. Upon checking in for a week stay, we were asked for a credit card to secure a $50 fee "just in case there were any damages to room". I have stayed at many other BW and have never been asked to supply. The sheets were NEVER changed during the whole 6 night stay and we had to ask for clean towels. The toilet stopped up during the week and a young lady came to unplug it. One evening upon returning from daily activites, found used towels on towel bar and few clean ones. The breakfast was OK but not a great variety of food. I am a BW rewards member and upon check in was told that they were full and could not upgrade room. BUT, during the week the parking lot was empty. hmmm And last but not least, we were located on the first floor and could hear much room noise above us. Glad we spent time away and not in the room.

    « Great hotel like new ! »

The staff for breakfast were exceptional. Not only did they keep the food stocked, they were clearing plates and asking if they could bring us anything! All Staff went above and beyond to be helpful and friendly. Accommodations great! Exceptional deal

« My favorite Best Western »

I travel regularly, and this is a great hotel. The breakfast is better (scrambled egg quality is important to me). The staff is friendly. There is a choice of 4 restaurants in walking distance. I've stayed here 5 times so far and have nothing negative to report.

    « Great mountain view »

Must have been renovated recently - very nice! Modern, clean, and bright. Breakfast was very good, although during peak times, hard to find an open table/spot to eat. Bed was very comfortable; we slept great! Lots of lighting fixtures in the room, most of which are 3-way. Staff is VERY helpful and nice! 5 out of 5 ! Shower was a little narrow. Hair drier blew too slow in low setting (although a much higher quality hotel we stayed at in Denver had the same model of drier!). TV programming was not HD; disappointing if you want to do a lot of that. And the remote was hard to find at first; it's white, not black, sitting in a special holder next to the phone. It's a special remote that can be cleaned easily by housekeeping, touted to be supposedly much less susceptible to passing on germs. Elevator was slow... and small, but typical for a hotel of this type. Sidewalk along north side of door could use a ramp for handicap access and ease of transporting luggage. Lots of parking space on that side, so it's very inconvenient to have to walk around to in front of the main (electric folding !) door if you have a heavy suitcase (we did) or have mobility impairment and the handicaps spaces are filled up. Card keys needed to be reprogrammed or reissued a few times.

    « Great Value overall »

Not quite a 5 star experience, but definitely a 5 star value. Friendly and welcoming staff, clean and modern appearance, very good food for a "free breakfast," very big TV in the room compared to most hotels, good location with a short walk to a few great places to eat. Negatives: Bathroom a little small and cramped; elevator was really, really slow, and breakfast room too small for the large breakfast crowd, to the point I saw one couple just leave to buy breakfast rather than fight the crowd for free food.

« Room was too small & crowded »

Have stayed at many Best Westerns and never had a room that was so small and crowded. Very disappointed. Barely enough room to turn around in the bathroom. Bedroom not much better. Hotel should have used this small space for guest laundry or storage. Might have been slightly better with a single bed but bathroom was tiny and cramped.

    « Unexpected stay-good choice »

We had to relocate unexpectedly to a lower elevation as I was having breathing issues at a higher elevation. Luckily, I found this hotel in Colorado Springs. This is a nice hotel with nice folks manning the front desk and kitchen area. There is ample parking and the hotel is just off I-25 and accessible to Garden of the Gods where we spent some time. There are a number of restaurants in the nearby area. The hotel room was nice with a seating area next to the window over the a/c unit. The a/c worked fine and quietly. The bathroom was smaller but very nice. For two people, the bathroom is fine. Wi-fi was excellent. TV reception was good. The breakfast area could get busy in the morning depending upon what time you got there. The staff worked hard to maintain the supplies and replenish the trays given the amount of guests at the time. Coffee was available during the day and evening and there was fruit water available in the lobby. If you decide upon a day trip, the Royal Gorge is an hour or so away and is interesting to see, particularly if you have never been there. Again, access to I-25 is very easy and there is a gas station prior to the freeway. I understand the Air Force Academy is nearby along with some other sights which we did not get to due to time limitations. Access to the upstairs is by elevator. The hotel appeared clean and well maintained. This turned out to be a good choice on short notice and we got to see some country and sights we would have never seen.

« Quiet, clean, and modern »

I was pleasantly surprised by how modern and clean the room was. It also had a wonderful view of Pikes Peak, which was an added plus. One thing I did notice was how quiet the rooms were. One more bonus to the room, great shower and bathroom facilities.

This hotel was close to everything, staff was amazing, hotel was clean and modern. Everyone enjoyed it! It was close to the stairs and we could park closer to a different entrance. Breakfast was enjoyed by everyone!

    « Excellent »

My friend and I stayed in a much more expensive boutique hotel in Denver the night before ($350+) and both of us were much happier with our stay here. The rooms are very large and the bathrooms modern. It was clean and the breakfast good. WiFi was pretty fast and the location very convenient to the interstate. I was worried about the sound from the highway but never heard much even though my room was on the side of the highway. Pleasant staff....just a really good experience.

    « Pleasantly surprised.... »

We were very pleased with the quality of our stay at Peak Vista. They were mostly full, but still were able to do well in handling the visitors. Breakfast was slightly above average for the hotel stay variety, location was right for us, clean...that's what matters most to us these days.

Great complimentary breakfast, rooms were clean and upkept during our stay. Quiet during the nights, therefore allowing for good rest. Staff was welcoming and overall very accommodating place to stay.

    « Pleasant surprise »

This hotel is spotless. The lobby is really nice and our room was super clean. The shower was a rainfall with sliding glass doors. No mildew or water spots anywhere. The cleaning crew was nice and the breakfast was a mix of hot and cold to get the day off right. I really enjoyed this hotel. The $100 refundable fee at checking was a bit of a surprise but maybe that's how the ensure the rooms are taken care of.

    « EXCELLENT HOTEL »

Great location, excellent rooms, helpful and friendly staff. The overall appearance of the hotel was great. The breakfast was very good. The price was reasonable for such a great hotel. I highly recommend this hotel to travelers visiting the Colorado Springs area.

« Second time with this Best Western »

The rooms are so pleasant! This particular Best Western had a walk in shower with a "rain" shower head. Wonderful! My only wish is that on this type of walk in shower, as well as the tub shower, that there would be a rod to grab as getting in and out of the shower as the tubs and showers can be a little slick. We always stay at a Best Western if one is available!

    « Good location »

This hotel is located just off I-25, along with several other chain hotels, north of downtown Colorado Springs and the exits for attractions such as Garden of the Gods, Cliff dwellings, and Pike's Peak. There are only a couple of restaurants within a 5 minute drive, but the buffet breakfast will help you get your day started. Attractive, spacious, lobby has cold water, coffee and tea available most of the time. Rooms are clean and satisfactory, but the square table would be better replaced with something narrower, or even something lower to have more places to put travel bags. Desk staff is present, but for some reason, did not make us feel welcome at all. Appears to be no rules about wearing shoes in the common areas. Several children were going back and forth to the pool with wet feet, leaving the floors in the hall and elevator wet and slippery for the rest of us. This made us quite nervous about falling. Staying in a room on the front side of the hotel, no matter which of the three floors, allows views over the parking lot to the mountains in the distance; very pleasant. The view from the second floor was lovely, but did not quite make up for the awful noise from the room above. I would recommend a third floor room to avoid that noise; apparently, very little, if any, sound proofing was used in between floors when this hotel was built.

« Great view of Rockies, great place to get set for a day of adventure »

Our room was third floor and faced the Rockies. It was a stunning view, especially in the morning with the sunrise on the mountains. The room was what we expected from a Best Western PLUS, clean, spacious, comfortable bed. Morning breakfast was great with hot and cold options. We were set to go for our day and didn't waste a lot of time or money having to go out for breakfast. Staff was very friendly. Indoor pool was clean and refreshing. Hot tub was clean and relaxing after a day of trekking around.

« Great Hotel, Great Location. »

This is a beautiful Best Western property. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to return soon! Everything seemed very clean and new. The decor was modern. I loved the view. I had a very wonderful experience.

    « Clean and Spacious »

Hard to fault our experience here. Conveniently located near the I-70, GOTG's and Pikes Peak (35 mins to gate). Front desk staff were very helpful, the room was immaculately clean and spacious. The shower was powerful if a little noisy. Nice touch was the cute folding of the hand-towels - something a bit different. Wifi performed well and business centre PC's and printer were easy to use. We didn't use the pool facilities at this hotel. Parking easy. The hotel is close to a couple of restaurants. We ate at Outback Steakhouse and had no complaints. Exit hotel via rear access and 3 minute walk past Hooters. The breakfast was complimentary but as we found with all our chain hotel experiences it is a very poor affair. This was the last hotel of our stay which included BW, HI group and Hilton Garden as well as some independents. Wake up America - vote with your feet. All our complimentary breakfast experiences were very disappointing and on occasion inedible. Credit though to BW Peak Vista - one of the better efforts.

« Brief stopover - glad we did »

Very nice, clean room and facilities --very professional and helpful front desk staff...walking distance to several very good restaurants. No loud noises. Very quick and efficient check-in. Very glad we chose this hotel to stay overnight.

« Look for other options »

Ok but not the best Best Western we've stayed in. The room had a bit of odor and there was a strange brown stain/drops on the wall. The maintenance person was pleasant when he removed them but the front desk wasn't overly friendly.

« sightseing in Colorado Springs »

very nice facility, clean, close to restaurants, and several local attractions. Great staff, however, we booked a suite and it was basically a regular room with a armless chair and hassock. Having styed in many other Best Western Suites, this was a big disappointment, certainly did not qualify as a suite by the Best Western standards that I have utilized on many many previous Best Western stays.

« Would stay here again »

We stayed for 4 nights in room 208. Clean, updated, spacious room. Wished there was a view of the mountains instead of parking (maybe on a higher floor and different side?), but we were not in the room much. Very convenient location right off the highway. Breakfast area seemed shorthanded - one morning there was pretty much nothing even though there was an hour left, and the next morning we waited quite a while for food and coffee to be replenished. Overall a good hotel, nice rooms. I became obsessed with the cucumber-infused water in the lobby!

    « Cheerful lobby & staff. »

We had experienced an issue with our online reservation & the staff did a great job at resolving the manner. The breakfast offered many different options & was tasteful. One room for improvement would be the cleanliness of the room?more attention to detail.

We had a group-on special for this hotel. It met and exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was great and had good hours. Our room was clean, nice, and comfortable. The bed was a little soft for me, but my husband liked the bed. We were given a nice room even with a special rate.
