Best Western Zebra Motel

Lovely roomy room. Bed was comfy and plenty pillows. There is a restaurant on site with great menu, not the cheapest prices but convenient. Room had a nicely updated bathroom and plenty room for luggage as well as desk space. Great service!!

I've stayed in Coffs at quite a few places, some off the main road that were dusty or linen almost see through. The Zebra is the best of the bunch, very comfy beds with doona linen, the aircon is quiet but works efficiently. A nice size room with lounge chair rather than watching tv on the bed. This is my choice when staying in Coffs.

Stayed 2 days January 2024. Firstly, the breakfast was excellent- good options and very well cooked. Secondly, check-in staff and breakfast staff very friendly. Thirdly, room very clean and quiet. Great location, close to town centre and highly recommend!

We payed in excess of $200 per night for a king room. It had a very small fridge, no freezer. That plus single ply loo paper cheapened the experience. Very clean. Good bathroom and bed. The room had been renovated but quality was let down, particularly be the fridge aspect.

Excellent when travelling, accommodation spacious clean comfortable bonus pet friendly. Ideal when on the road and requiring overnight stay. Easy access prominent location close to shops meals and coastline beaches closeby

Clean room, Staff very friendly when checking in. Easy walk into town center. The motel is on the highway so you do get a lots of truck noise but I was aware of that. No bedside lights so had to ask for one very poor lighting in the room .

Very good room to stay with my pet (dog). The room was well set out, plenty of space and comfy bed. Great bathroom with a good shower. Good quality coffee on offer and very helpful, friendly staff. The room was very clean and smelt nice and fresh.

Our room was spacious and clean. The location was good as we were able to walk into town. There was quite a bit of traffic noise as the highway is close by and there were many trucks passing through. Our room was located right beside a stairway which could become quite noisy when people were leaving early in the morning. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The location is perfect quick access. Consistently good rooms, great hostess good satisfying cuisine in the restaurant. Beds comfortable, bathroom clean , pool clean parking safe quick access to shopping centre .

Did a google search, and by the photos and prices, this motel looked like a good one to stay at. Some reviews say it's been renovated, but there's only so much a coat of paint and new carpet can do. The rooms are definitely showing their age, but having said that they are very clean and comfortable. There is a major highway out the front and a residential street or the back, but noise wise, whilst I slept, I didn't hear a thing. Actually, that's a lie, I did wake once in the night and could hear snoring through the wall. But that's not the hotels fault. I think he/ she gives it a real crack every night by the sound of things. Didn't stop me from nodding back off, though. I had everything I needed for my nights stay and scanned the room key to find the perfect spot for breakfast the next day.

Clean pet friendly motel. Has basic amenities- tea, coffee, towels, toiletries. The room is quite bright in the morning due to gaps on the sides of the windows and can be quite noisy due to being near the highway. Parking can be difficult to find a spot when they are busy. Otherwise. A good stay!

I've stayed in a lot of hotels/motels around the world but I have to say this motel was a huge disappointment. I paid $198 for a one night stay in a king room. The room still looked old even after apparently being updated. The room was dirty. There was sand all over the couch. The area used as the little kitchenette was very dirty. I used 4 wet wipes to clean the crumbs and greasy stains off the laminate. The bench under the tv was stained. The bathroom soap dispensers weren't cleaned and the shower dispensers had caked on soap. The shower itself had good pressure and hot water but it kept cycling to cold water throughout the shower process. The noise from the other guests was significant with lots of yelling, running up and down the landings and outside the rooms and people slamming doors. We did not hear any traffic noise which was a positive. The staff member at check in was very nice. There was no allocated spot for parking and there appeared insufficient parking spots for the number of units. This seems strange for a motor inn. Overall, I would not stay there again nor recommend it. The price of an overnight stay appears inconsistent with poor overall quality provided.

When you arrive you think, ok interesting place. Then you walk into reception and the staff make you feel so so welcome. After a long drive they made we feel relaxed and at home. The room and bathroom exceptional clean. The bed side lamps even have charging stations on them. This is one place on my list of returns for my next trip to Coffs harbour.

Pet friendly room that didn't have the usual pet friendly room smell!! Was great all we needed for an overnight stay with 2 dogs. They reception girls were fantastic, friendly and very helpful. Great half way spot from Brisbane and Sydney.

It's a standard room, but it was clean and bigger than expected, which was nice to have. The pool is located nearby the rooms. It is an easy location to the city centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would return next time we are in Coffs Harbour.

Rooms were large, bed exceptionally comfortable, lovely modern bathrooms with great shower. Corinne the receptionist was brilliant and went above and beyond to help us out. I will definitely stay here again as we travel up and down the East coast

The motel was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The lady's at reception was very helpful and answered any questions I had. Very close to the CBD and local shops.

Stayed at this hotel the last couple of nights of a tour around NSW. The rooms were big and very clean. The Manager was so helpful and friendly when my husband got ill. Nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend this hotel in Coff's Harbour. Easy walking distance to shops and a short drive to the airport.

The motel is well located - close to shops, restaurants and take away shops. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The room is well equipped and very clean. The only issue i had was with the pillows. I found them too high and uncomfortable. It would be great if you could offer 2 different types of pillows

Room on the ground floor It's a very busy motel for a Tuesday night the whole place was booked out The room service was really good and reasonably priced Rooms are clean bed was comfy And it was nice the bathrooms are fully renovated and modern Kitchette includes cutlery a toaster and kettle plates and bowls only negitive a are the traffic noise from the hwy through out the night and the curtains really need to cover the whole window so the room is dark because the porch light stay on all night

Always happy when work books me here. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious, clean and have everything you need. On-site restaurant and bar. Great place. I need 200 characters. So I'll just keep typing. These guys deserve a review.

Clean and tidy hotel in a good spot. Did not use the pool, but the option was there. Bed was very comfortable, and the staff always helpful and friendly. Onsite cafe is available, and well situated off the road so noise is not a concern.

The Zebra is a small low cost hotel but don't let that put you off it is clean comfortable (great bed) with good facilities and extremely friendly helpful staff. Nice bar and the menu looks good but we didn't take advantage of it due to time. Would certainly use again.

This motel is really amazing, all the staff are super friendly, helpful. The family unit we had was quiet, clean, beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this place, its also only a block away from Woolies then the CBD. Another bonus is that this motel now has a couple of pet friendly rooms for a small fees. Internet was fast with no dropouts.

I have been staying at the Zebra motel for work during the week for the last few months. The staff are friendly and any request that I have had at the front desk is met with care and courtesy. Over the time I have stayed in the motel I have found the rooms to be clean with all amenities that work well. COVID has changed the dining experience, but generally the food at the restaurant is good. Sylvia who works the bar and restaurant is friendly and efficient. Ruby at the front desk is an asset to the team. Corrine is the new manager and she has been helpful to give me the best tariff for my stay. I have noticed that the motel has a constant flow of Reps who are repeat visitors.

Overnight stop on the way to sydney. Late check in after 9.30pm. Happy to grab a bottle of wine for us. Clean and comfortable room - all you need when you're just sleeping and leaving again early morning... would definitely stay again. No frills but we weren't staying for a luxury holiday.

The service and experience was exceptional at the Zebra, the staff are fantastic, rooms are clean, food was great and the beer was cold, you are made to feel special, highly recommend you stay there if you are going to Coffs

Stayed here recently for work, this was a convenient spot with really great room facilities. The lcoation was on the main highway, but traffic noise was minimal. There were some big trees out the front of the hotel and the huge number of birds in these trees were way noisier then passing trucks :-) Check in was easy, staff were lovely and friendly. My room was spacious, well appointed with a clean, modern bathroom, microwave, comfy king size bed, as well as a work desk and lounge. Wifi was free, quick and had no dropouts. The bathroom drain had a bad smell, but the smell was reduced with the bath mat over the drain; I forgot to let the staff know about this, but Im sure if I had told them they would have organised to have it checked. Hotel facilties included a pool, bar and restaurant as well as a guest landry. There were multiple restaurants close by and woolies was also just a 5 min walk from the the hotel, which was really convenient. If not having to leave, or work, early, I would suggest requesting a room away from the cleaners rooms if you dont want to be woken up by the cleaners. I would definitely recommend this hotel when staying in Coffs for work and I enjoyed my stay there

Not good value for money. The furniture in the rooms is old and worn out. A very 1090s vibe going on. The room was a good size and clean though. The location is just off the highway and surprisingly quiet. It's also close to shops and easy to get to and from.

Recently (23rd March 21 until 30th March 21) I had the pleasure to stay at the Best Western Zebra Motel in Coffs Harbour. I spent an inter 7 days at the motel as I was visiting my Mum for the first time in person in over 8 years. From the time I arrived at the motel, there was nothing too big or too small that they wouldn't help with. This went from reception to the cooks (who might I add make delicious food) and even right down to the cleaners who made up my room each morning. I would highly recommend this motel. My stay was relaxing, enjoyable and I dealt with friendly staff on a daily basis. I cannot name everyone by name as there is a few - but I would like to say a very big and Fabolous thank you to everyone who deals with the day to day running of the Zebra Motel Coffs Harbour. I look forward to visiting again hopefully not too long into the future. You have made this man (who is usually very grumpy) very happy and also everyone made my Mum welcome each day she came into the Motel. All you guys are totally amazing. Thank you again and see you when I next visit Coffs Harbour. *The only scary part about my inter stay was the fact that my bed seemed to have a foot fetish every single night kept stealing my left sock and kept trying to eat my toes, it didn't want my right one, just the left. lol :-) - But the motel staff went above and beyond any motel I have stayed at in my time, and I have been in a few, to make my stay the best it could have been and they succeeded. Thank you again to EVERYONE for making my weeks holiday and catch up with my mum for the first time face to face in a very long time (talking years in the process here) the best it could have been. You also welcomed my mum with jokes and warmth each day, I thank you for that too as this made her happy. And when my mum is happy then so am I. :-)

Exceptional service, off street parking and quiet well appointed rooms. The standard of cleanliness is above and beyond along with the comfy beds, smart tv, mini fridge, microwave and well appointed bathroom with amenities provided including a hairdryer. The motel is close to everything including food deliveries, attractions and the highway. We highly recommend staying here for this reason and value for money.

Booked a one night stay , room was like a jail cell , black hair over carpeting, dirty stained bench tops very old rooms not what I expected at all for $350, also a lot of noise from neighbouring room at 12pm for over an hour woke my kids, complaints made to manager who gave very weak apology next morning I think he must be used to the routine of it as hotel is so low standard definitely never staying here again

Great location. Awesome staff and the most comfortable bed. This is a really clean motel with good parking and well maintained. Highly recommended. The room was large and the price was extremely reasonable considering the location and school holidays.

Great location on the southbound side of highway. Able to walk to supermarket and restaurants. Very comfortable beds and super clean and tidy throughout. Highly recommend whether it's a one night stop or longer.

Stayed 2 nights while i was in coffs for work. Room was really nice, would definitely stay there again. Bed was comfy, bathroom had been renovated and was really clean. Was pretty quiet too, considering it is on the highway

when driving long distance you need a nice and comfort room to sleep and revive and Zebra motel is the place to stay the room are clean service is good and also the best off all is the beds are great to sleep in, so comfort you don't want to get out off bed.

Lovely motel with spacious and clean rooms. We stayed in the family room so our two teenagers had a single bed each. Plenty of parking so we could park our camper trailer. We didn't eat in the restaurant or have room service breakfast but the prices seemed reasonable.

i have aways stayed at the Zebra Motel every time i travel to and stay in Coffs Harbour. Darryl and the team offer comfortable beds with great rooms and neutral decor. with the new TV's and access to netflix and yootube have now made my stay even more enjoyable. the food in particular the steaks are amazing

After a road trip from Melbourne, the overnight recharge at Zebra was perfect. Room was best we stayed in for the entire trip for cleanliness, facilities and ease of use of all the amenities. Shame we were on business as the swimming pool looked very enticing.

The Zebra does all it can to make a stay pleasant. The rooms have been updated and supplied all my needs. The bed was comfortable and while there is a little noise from the highway it is not an issue. A short walk to the CBD makes this an ideal place to stay.

I trusted the reviews when I made this booking, when we drove up to this place our hearts sank....it's really old and run down looking on the outside and I thought we were at the wrong hotel!! The good news is that the rooms are updated, quite spacious, clean, comfortable. Staff was friendly, everything was fine. Attaching a few pics of our room for reference.

Staff friendly and attentive. Room good size clean and tidy. Good bed and shower. Restaurant was not open when we were there. A pub across the street had great meals and service. Just off the main road so there was a little noise.

If you need accommodation in Coffs Harbour, then Zebra Best Western is your place. Beautifully presented rooms and super clean and comfortable. A relaxing swim in the pool and a nice cold beer in the bar enjoyed after a day of driving. Had my pillow from home, but didn't need it, great mattress and pillows. Well looked after by our host.

I wasn't expecting much but the zebra motel was great. Everything we needed it had and it was up to date in our room. Bed was very comfy and staff were lovely. We will be staying here again when we come to coffs.

We found this gem online. We received a friendly welcome when we arrived. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfort and quality of our room, especially the standard of renovation of the en-suite. It was also really well supplied. We ate in on two of our three nights. The ingredients were really good quality and well cooked. The meals were excellent value and really tasty. The staff were very generous with advice regarding where to go and what to see, and then checking how our days had been. If we are back in the area, this would be my number 1 choice for accommodation

This is an older motel that has undergone some modern upgrades to the rooms. The Bed was super comfy and the room has had an upgrade to include king size bed, modern bedside lamps and marble vanity also rain shower. The motel has a good sized pool and a restaurant, and bar where the staff were very helpful and the food was good.

Travel to Coffs for work periodically. We stayed in the Zebra this time just to try somewhere else (the other place has a Savage driveway that scrapes my car... Very pleased with the Zebra. Quiet. Well priced. Really friendly staff. Easy carparking. Clean. COMFORTABLE KING SIZE BED. :) Definitely staying there again next time. Has a restraunt/bar, didnt check that out. Maybe next time.

After staying here aout 5 yrs ago we were traveling through & though we would give it a try & see if theer was any difference. Yes there is :) The rooms are well layed out and have been updated, the beds I have to say it was the best night sleep I have had in a long time, good value for money. We had dinner in the resturant, I was supprised the eye fillet steak was perfect, service to notch a great experence, this was also what I can say when we had breakfast in the resturant, great service yet again. There was a group of 4, we had 2 rooms, King beds, Great Service, Great Value will definatly book again when we are coming through again :)

Motel is in a good location, clean spacious modern rooms. We rang to book room just before arrival, room rate was a little expensive and no cheaper that booking on-line in other the establishment did not reduce the price by the commission they pay the booking sites - disappointing. Breakfast was ok but very small serving so not good value for money.

Close to the shopping centre and easy to access. We got a friendly welcome and the room was lovely. Everything worked well and the room was immaculately clean. Could not hear any traffic noise. Pool for the kids. Probably not the cheapest motel in town but well worth the price.

I spent last night there. Check-in was easy and the staff member was friendly. I know its located on the highway but the noise from the trucks was so bad. I was up and gone by 6.00am. The cost of the room was way to expensive even with a discount. The room underwhelming and had a dirty carpet smell. The room was clean but needs updating. The powerpoint near one of the beds is loose. I would have ordered room service for dinner and breakfast but $4.00 delivery for each is ridiculous as was the ptices of minibar items.

Driving from Canberra to Noosa we needed a stopover point and so Coffs Harbour it was ... there were a lot of choices on offer even though we were booking very very last minute .. like at 6pm whilst driving into Coffs ... all of the hotels kind of looked similar ... (very much like the relics of my childhood .. drive up hotel/motels with your car at the door and a 'magic sliding door' where breakfast was delivered) ... but Best Western Zebra stood out a little from the others and we are really glad we chose to stay. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, even providing us with cold frosty glasses for a much needed cold beer after a long drive, and happily taking our Cool Box freezer blocks to re-freeze for our trip the next day. Enjoyed a drink in the bar with the owner .. who was a lovely guy and gave us a bit of background on the hotel and the whole 'Zebra' concept which was really interesting. Room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We were up and away very early but still received a smile and a wave as we drove off from our enjoyable stopover. (No magic breakfast door to the room tho .. sadly this will only be a nostalgic childhood memory).

Whoever the chef is needs a pay rise because the food is fantastic. The young male receptionist (name not known was very polite and helpful and he needs a pat on the head. I thought the bathroom was fantastic the rooms was a tad thread bared and tired The swimming pool was inviting and well maintained. The bar and restaurant are very attractive and have character.

The bed was GLORIOUS! Best nights sleep we've had since we had started our journey 4 days prior. We stayed in a room towards the back of the motel complex so there was no traffic noise, our room was generously sized and looked recently renovated and clean, all the amenities you would require, it was a hot day and the air-con worked well, it had a large window at the front of the room with sheer curtain so you could let loads of natural light into the room. The motel has a big pool which looked really inviting. The owner/manager was delightful to deal with.

Staying for for four nights (for the second time) while I paint a mural in a local school. I have dietary needs and the care and service I've been given has been first class. The room is perfect. It is clean, comfortable and the sheets are deliciously crisp. It's really the fact that I go to breakfast (that is not on the menu) and my water container is filled for me ... even ice is popped in. It's just special and I'm away from my family and I feel like I am held.

We stayed here the 1 night in room 43 which is up the top at the back. No noise and had perfect night sleep. The gentleman at the front desk were friendly and very helpful. The room has 2 queen beds which were comfortable and clean. Bathroom was clean with towels and soap etc. We were pleasantly surprised. Kids swam in the pool which is open from. 7 am to 9.30 pm. I love that you can use the local gym whilst staying at the motel. Free wifi. Air con worked a treat. Good for a stop over stay and perfect for our needs. No allocated parking and it does get full. 7 min walk to local restaurants and Woolworths. Yes it's on the highway. It's a shame the restaurant isn't open

Stayed here on the way back from Brisbane staff are extremely friendly and helpful, king size bed very comfortable and the room spotlessly clean with all bathroom amenities that you could need. Pool looked very inviting but we opted for a refreshing drink in the bar instead which is a pleasant way to unwind

My partner and I stayed at the Zebra Motel in Coffs Harbour for one night. We had an excellent stay. The room was modern and clean - and the bed was extremely comfortable. We will be back in the future

Room was immaculately clean and the beds very comfy. Pool was lovely and warm and the staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Bacon and egg roll for breakfast hit the spot. Would definitely return if passing this way again.

I'm generally a fan of the Best Western chain and with a choice between 2 opposite each other I chose this one. The Good: - Very nice place. - Room was very clean and had been somewhat updated. - Staff are super friendly and helpful. For the business travellers: - Work bench for those travelling was a good height and a decent chair. Bench too narrow to put down a laptop and keyboard though - Power points are easily accessible and not hidden. - Lighting is not great. The bad: - Definitely not sound proof from the highway. - No microwave - Fridge may as well be counted as a "cooler" (very tiny, no settings, mostly choked with very overpriced mini bar stuff and hadn't cooled drinks any better than my little car cooler had after 6hrs). Overall it is a nice place. I can't review the food as the breakfast menu turned me off trying the restaurant for dinner. The breakfast menu was already overpriced and then they charge $4 delivery to rooms on top for breakfast. At the price per night in off peak season vs amenities it truly doesn't represent any value for money. I personally wouldn't stay again. *As a side note for the smokers.....avoid upstairs rooms.

I booked via Expedia, chose it as it had a flexible cancellation policy. Front desk staff were cheerful. Nice breakfast menu. Renovated room with a great shower and bathroom. Lots of TV stations. Easy to park, close to the supermarket. It's not their fault but the highway is close and if you are a sensitive sleeper the truck noises may irritate you. A great stay!

Selected the Zebra Motel from its reviews on TA and was not disappointed. I was on a short business to Coffs Harbour so decided to make a reservation. Well located near to the town and airport. Very clean and well maintained. Comfortable beds with fresh clean linen. Modern bathroom with toiletries supplied. The staff were both welcoming and pleasant. My only gripe was the traffic noise because of the proximity to a main highway but no fault of the motel. I would not hesitate staying there again. Well done to the staff and management.

Have stayed here twice now when visiting for work Just of the highway and close to the city centre. The rooms have a large Comfy bed and well equipped bathroom with an awesome shower. Fresh milk is provided for your tea or coffee need Front counter staff are extremely helpful as are the restraint team which serves delicious food Liked the cute zebras in the foyer

This hotel is quite nice, although the bed and pillows were a little too firm for me. The room was pleasant with good facilities, parking, wi-fi, etc. Staff are friendly and helpful; check in/out was easy. Overall, I would give a score of 3 1/2.

Just off the highway but this place is a real gem. Well kept and updated facilities with an excellent dining room offering breakfast & dinner. Hosts were most engaging too. We are in the restaurant and the food was most enjoyable. The place was quite popular and deserved to be.

Comfortable, near highway so can be a bit noisy. Pool and restaurant on site is good. Location ok , close to shops but not near beaches. Two story motel stairs only to access top level so if you can not managed stairs ask for lower level. Great customer service at from desk. Close to many pubs and clubs yiu can walk to most. There is liquor store around the corner if you need a few extra beverages ?? Parking is very tight. You will get a spot but it might not be anywhere near your room if motel is full. The fridge in your room is ridiculous small just Fyi.

We had visited this motel 12 months ago (September 2017) and even though it was very clean - it was in need of a renovation - Manager/owner had just taken on the motel and suggested we return in a few months.Have just visited the same motel last week (October 2018) and manager was true to his word - our room was totally renovated - bright and cheery decor with minimal good quality furniture. Well renovated bathroom and very good quality bed.The restaurant has been brightened up giving a welcoming feeling.The food was of very good quality and was well presented - the fruit at breakfast was very, very fresh and beautifully presented.

Only stayed as stopover on way to Gold Coast but staff were very friendly, room spacious and clean. Nice pool and yummy breakfast. They had a bar area that was closed but staff happily opened for us. Will definitely choose this again next times

What a great find in Coffs Harbour. The place is loaded with hotels, motels and resorts. I needed a place to park my car and trailer and this was it!! The room was clean, large and had a modern bathroom. NO MOULD!!! A King size bed was firm and just right. The free WiFi was fast. I had a light dinner and a full breakfast; both excellent. Not the cheapest motel in Coffs but I will certainly stay there again if in the area. Easy access to and from the highway at the North end of town. Thank you Simon for your friendliness.

Pleasantly surprised at this great accommodation after expecting a motel. Stayed here with 3 friends for a night when travelling Sydney to Byron. Room was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Good location, staff were helpful and booked us a taxi to local restaurants. Would recommend.

The Zebra is outside the usual price range of motels I stay at, but, having parked the truck and being weary, I accepted the room at the quoted price and, stayed - actually I am glad I did as the accommodation and facilities at the Zebra were high class. The room was spotless, quality toiletries, sheets and towels, a good fridge, with mini bar and a King sized bed!! In addition the Zebra has an attached restaurant and bar, so a room service meal and drink a great comfortable and quiet sleep then a quick takeaway breakfast made for a very pleasant stay. For the motorist, parking was generous and the drive through site was very convenient, entering from a slip road off the Highway and exiting to a quite street. Also the motel is convenient to the Coffs CBD with a plethora of cafes and good shopping

Just booked in to our room. Was kindly accommodated early. Great communication from hotel prior to arrival. Room is clean with new bathroom (king room). Plenty of parking if needed. Recommend this hotel!

The Coffs Harbour motel was a good place to take an over night rest break when driving from Sydney to Brisbane. The motel is slightly off the highway so it can be a little noisy in the early part of the evening but quiets down by around 10pm. The manager of the Motel was pleasant but not overly chatty The room, the carpet and the room furnishings was dated and in need of a face lift. Nonetheless the bed was comfortable and the shower/bathroom was clean. There was a motel restaurant but it didn't look very inviting when it was empty. I would recommend trying some of the restaurants in town. As a stop over motel, it's perfect.

Outdated and in poor condition. Bathroom door latch faulty and overall condition very poor. For the location and comparable prices, this motel is not up to scratch. If we were looking for a budget stay, we could have picked several other motels at half the price. Although the staff argued that it will not happen, the highway will soon be diverted around Coffs Harbour which as far as this motel is concerned. It will be a good thing.

We had to rush to Coffs Harbour for a funeral. What a lovely surprise. The amenities, the staff and the restaurant were 10/10. Very close to town and easy walk into centre. Was surprised how popular motel was during a winter week. Lovely off street parking right at your door. Would recommend to anyone.

Lovely staff, modern bathroom and comfy bed. Room was fairly quiet and motel is close to CBD and local area. Would recommend to other and will stay here again. I did not try the restaurant, but the menu looked good.

The staff very friendly and accomodating from the time we made our phone call. The room was very clean and tidy and comfortable. If we had to have a complaint, it was a cold night (cold snap) and the air con was stuck on cold. The bed was comfortable and warm so not really a problem.

This establishment ticked all the boxes. Close to the town centre, exceptionally clean and comfortable. Well appointed. Friendly helpful staff. We stayed at the Zebra for 1 night as part of a road trip. Lots of parking spaces available. We stayed on second floor, easy to access up a flight of stairs. Our room was very clean, lovely king bed and clean linen. Lounge chair, tv and small table also in the room. We stayed in room 36 which would suit a couple. Bathroom clean, towels white and clean and shower excellent. Location is great, still close to shops, food etc but also far enough away so was very quiet. Has pool in middle of property near driveway, did not use but looked clean and maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. Fresh milk provided, mini fridge, kettle and some complimentary bikkies! Would stay at the property again when passing through.

I travel a fair amount for work and stay at various places overnight and even a week at a time. This place was quite average for the price. On the plus side, staff were friendly on check in and checkout.

Passing through on our way to Queensland we had an overnight stay at this very presentable motel. We were warmly received and given a lovely room and invited to dine at the restaurant that night. The room was situated on the upper level was spotlessly clean with king size bed beautiful linen and plenty of pillows. The bathroom had the best ever amenities fluffy towels and a fabulous shower head. Very quiet location even though it is close to the highway. A short stroll to the main shopping area as well. Good food lovely staff will be our first choice when passing through again. We had left an item of clothing in the room and Darryl contacted us to let us know which was much appreciated.

Comfortable room with everything we needed. Best thing was the staff - from reception to the cleaning staff - everyone we encountered was super friendly and helpful and they were able to accommodate all of our extra requests like a late check out and somewhere for my wife to work after check out for an hour of so. Brilliant motel just off highway, friendly staff, great clean rooms with an amazing shower (perfect after a 5 hour drive) Food is good, some of the best onion rings I've ever had and a decent steak to boot. And fresh milk given on arrival!

The room is older but clean with a near new bathroom. The in-house restaurant is stuck in the 90's with a zebra/African theme...but all that matters is the food is really good! Service is great. Never had a bad meal. Breakfast and Dinner! Excellent! And the eccentric manager of the hotel is a hoot! The only fault with this hotel is the noise from the highway... but considering it's location, that can't be helped.

Recently had two nights here. I was impressed from the time I walked into reception. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room very clean, bed so comfortable , bathroom clean and modern with an amazing shower. Ordered room service both nights and both meals were spot on. Stayed here a couple of years ago and was not impressed, this time however I can't recommend it highly enough.

We stayed for to nights at the BW Zebra. The attention to detail is excellent. Highlights. 1. Customer Service Lovely greeting, small details such as fresh milk (no UHT here), superb recommendations for places to eat, taking the time to engage with you as a person. This is probably the Zebra's most standout feature. 2. Decoration The motel has clearly been refurbished and it they have done a great job. 3. Cleanliness My personal bugbear. I have OCD on this front, to the extent that I carry my own cleaning products and have had to clean many a five star hotel room. Not the Zebra. There was not even any dust on the top of picture frames or behind the TV and no mound at all in the bathrooms! 10/10 (A score I have NEVER given before) 4. F&B Breakfast was a continental over the weekend but they also do a bacon and egg sandwich that is excellent and,with a cappuccino for $8, is fantastic value for money. There is also a small bar for a drink. Zulus restaurant serves dinner and the menu looked great but, unfortunately, we were unable to try the dinner offering. 5. Location A short walk to restaurants, Woolworths and the local pub. All in all, this is a lovely place to stay and I would highly recommend it.

Pre-booked a night at the Zebra Motel in Coffs Harbour for work. Upon arrival I was dealt with quickly and dropped my bags off in the room. Unfortunately room 12A suffers from that motel musty smell. The room however was large and had all the amenities you could want. The motel has a bar/restaurant and plenty of parking. On leaving in the morning I was going to enjoy breakfast in the empty dining room however I was then told my corporate rate (which was booked to include wifi and breakfast) apparently didn't include breakfast, so I went elsewhere. Be sure to take a copy of your booking just incase.

This is the second or third time I have stayed at this motel and each time the quality of the rooms has been outstanding. From the spotless bathroom to the spacious room itself and comfortable bed the motel is extremely good value. Although located close to the main road we noticed very little road noise.

Stopped in on our way back from Canberra to Brisbane and was greeted The lady of the desk Rejani i think that is her name so warm and friendly. We got our keys to our room and was told about the bar , what time breakfast was, dinner service and the pool. We where able to park right outside our unit and the unit was spacious, clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable, bathroom plenty of space clean and a rain shower head. The grounds where clean and tidy pool was sparkling and clean. The hotel is close to the shops and club and pubs but the bar there at the hotel was just as cheap for the beer as the club. Afterwards had dinner in restaurant and the desert of bread and butter pudding was grouse love every bit of it. Thanks for the wonderful stay we will be back thats for sure

Stopped off on the way to Sydney. Great motel. Clean, comfortable, good parking and bar service. Didn't use the restaurant. Overall very pleasant stay. Couldn't fault a thing. The Reception staff were extremely helpful. Didn't have time to use the pool but looked welcoming after a long hot drive.

New owners have revitalised this motel and restaurant in so many ways. Nice grounds with clean sparkling pool. Rooms are clean, sheets and towels fresh and new with very comfortable bed. Friendly and polite staff. Wonderful bar with big TV and restaurant serving up food favourites such as yummy schnitzel makes this an ideal stopover whilst in Coffs Harbour.

As a coach tour, very easy parking for coach & unloading of cases at the rear of motel. Management met us and gave out room numbers which was excellent. Room were very clean, fresh and modern. TV good, shower easy access. Restaurant was excellent with meals for 44 people served promptly, all enjoying the repast. Management came onboard coach to farewell us which was the only motel to do so during our trip. Will certainly use this motel again,

Easy to find for us wanting a quick stop over as it was right off the main highway. Surprisngly quiet considering how close to the highway too. Room was up to date, clean with comfy bed and couch for lounging. Excellent wifi and very good restaurant just steps across the parking lot. Had wonderful dinner and good breakfast as well. Pleasant front desk personnel made for a lovely stay. Gave us great recommendations for stops for the next day as well.

The room we stayed in was nice and clean. It had a lounge, couple of chairs and a king sized bed. The bed was excellent. There is free wifi. The complex has a pool and restaurant. We did not go to the restaurant, so I can't comment on the food or price. Unfortunately there was no microwave and we had to ask for a toaster. You can walk to the town centre in 8 minutes. Would stay here again.

Had such a great experience the first time we came back room was very clean,well presented and comfortable! The restaurant offered a variety of food choices, including vegan, and the food was amazing. Good selection of wines. Welcoming hosts and staff. Definitely 4/12stars. Our second visit to coffs harbour and i would definitely recommend a stay here. We will return!!!!!!

Stayed here for 5 nights last week and had a hassle free stay. The rooms were of a good size and clean. Breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful. Parking available outside rooms.The motel is situated on the highway but in close proximity to the airport, shops and restaurants. Recommended.

This motel had nice rooms and the service was great. It cost me $700 for four nights so it certainly wasn't cheap...But my main issue with this motel is it's proximity to the Pacific Highway where interstate trucks drive ALL NIGHT. Seriously wouldn't stay here again purely because of the noise. Just couldn't stay asleep.

Most motels are basic, here things are done with just a little more panache. The room is most comfortable, with décor that is above average. The bathroom is very well appointed and there are more than adequate amenities. Very unusually, breakfast (Continental) is included. The staffing is very friendly and the site also includes a restaurant and bar. Definitely a run-of-the-mill place it is NOT. Well done to management for clearly going that extra step. It shows.

From time arriving, we were looked after like kings. Staff were understanding of our needs. Room was well appointed, as we were expecting of Best Western. being in centre of town, was not far from attractions.

just a quick stay on our way up the coast. we only book the morning before we left home. bed was very uncomfortable. the noise from the trucks and other traffic was terrible, bad night sleep. not what we what with another full days travel ahead.

A good motel in a great location close to shops and Ex Services club. Rooms are well appointed with a very comfortable bed and good bathroom. High quality TV. Has good facilities with a restaurant. Not too far to the marina and beach but need a car. Plenty of car parking inside the motel as well out the back. The staff are friendly and helpful. Check-in and out are easy and handled well. Certainly recommend this motel.

At a $170 a night you would expect a certain level of expertise in hotel accommodation on a Central Coast large town. Don't expect too much and you might be surprised ? Hope it happens for you, lots of places to stay in Coffs but I would be aiming higher.

We asked for and were given a large, nice quiet room, down stairs about halfaway along the block. No highway noise detected. This room was very accessible for my disabled wife. There was a very comfortable 3 seater lounge, an extremely comfortable King Size bed with high quality bedding. A good sized flat screen TV, and a very nice very recently refreshed bathroom area with a great shower, completed the room. We chose to dine in the Dining room, and were treated to an excellent meal when we both chose the "fish of the day" expertly prepared and presented by their chef, accompanied with a lovely bottle of wine. This was the last night of our holiday and was indeed a memorable experience. Thank you to Daryl, the licensee, for his attention and service.

New owners trying to improve the property. Liked the small restaurant but we were the only folks there for breakfast. Bed left something to be desired. Overall reminded me of old drive in motels. Would stay there again.

We stayed one night on our way south and it was a very comfy night. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was wonderful (nice linen and plenty of good pillows). The bathroom is a good size and the shower is great. The air con was appreciated as it was humid in Coffs that day and we found the place quite quiet really (it was a Wednesday). The reception staff were very professional and helpful Happily recommended.

I stayed here for one night on my trip down the East Coast. I took the Greyhound from Brisbane and it was important to me to find a place a short walk from the bus stop, Best Western is right across the road from the Greyhound stop and it was reasonable priced. My room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom modern and well equipped. The motel is a short walk from a big Woolworths but at the time I visited (Saturday afternoon) the town resembled a ghost town and besides Woolies most places were shut. Because of this I had to have dinner at the motel in their Zulu restaurant, which was over my meager backpacking budget but nonetheless value for money. The steak was a really decent portion, the chef even brought me fresh bread and the service throughout my stay was impeccable, not what I expected from a motel. There's a small pool though I didn't use it. The bus stop to the beach/train station is a 5-7 mins walk from the motel. I definitely recommend this place for a short or long stay.

I was surprised when i walked in off the street to book a room. no standby rates. when i got into my room and did a search on the web found i could have got the room for $12.00 cheaper than i paid. the room was spacious and the bathroom area recently updated. there were no teaspoons to stir coffee. the bar frig could not hold a bottle of wine upright, however the bed and pillows were comfortable and the reception staff very helpful. i would stay here again for the location.

We spent 4 nights at the Zebra. The room was very clean , quite large and the Queen sized bed was extremely comfortable. The Pool was Very clean and a good size. When I return to Coffs I will stay there again. Definately good value for Money!! The Only Dissapointment was that the Restuarant and Bar were not open while I stayed there.

After a long day of organizing and packing the van we come upon this little treasure and I am happy we did as the place was very clean and the bed comfortable, for what little time I spent in it before I was on the road heading south again. Would not hesitate to use again.

from the the moment I showed up at around 20:30, I was welcomed, and very well looked after. The rooms are very well appointed, nice, clean and smart. Yes, you can hear the through traffic, but I was only aware of it, it was NOT an issue for me - and I've lived on main a arterial road with semis running past my house 20m away for years. To those here who have written the passing trucks etc kept them awake, that was not the case with me. What do you expect if you choose to stay at a motel that's located on a major intra and interstate thoroughfare ? I slept very soundly and superbly at this establishment. I would definitely stay here again in heart beat if the need arose. Well done to all the staff at Best Western Zebra Coffs Harbour, thanks for an enjoyable stay !

According to the sign out front it had an award winning restaurant and foxtel and part of a well regarded franchise so we checked in. But there was no restaurant, no foxtel and the phone was so crackly it was unusable. Refused to discount due to missing services even though it was above the average cost. when we got back from dinner and found the foxtel was "broken" I asked if we could get some discount for not being as advertised. Told we could get a refund if we left, so we did. We went to the motel right next door which had everything and was $36 cheaper. The only time we have ever left a motel in disgust. The attitude was "you can put up, pay full price or bugger off". Very poor business.

The place seems to have a lot of rooms and did not seem to be full on our late arrival, however we were put up next to a large family who were naturally noisy with a number of children. The noise came through our unit quite badly which resulted in poor sleep. The following morning the cleaners arrived right on check out time as we were attempting to get organised from our poor sleep, within five minutes management was calling us asking if we were staying another night. Certainly lacked patience and customer service. The unit itself was lovely and modern, with a upgraded bathroom. Reasonably priced but not the greatest location unless you are just stopping on your way through as we were. Bed was too hard. Wouldn't stay again, disappointing.

Four of us were visiting from the USA for a few days. The location was great to all Coffs has to offer. Clean rooms and a very welcome and helpful staff, they were A+ and made us feel at home. When booking this hotel, Expedia made it a snap. Better experience than investigating booking nearby Shearwater motel that thought my credit card was a fraud (thanks Shearwater, you will be under new management again soon). Glad I stayed here instead! Thanks Zebra staff, hope to see you again.

We were seeking a room with 2 beds on the ground floor, and found one here with two queen beds. The staff were helpful when both my friend and I phoned requesting a ground floor room. The property has two storeys and a restaurant that didn't appear to be open the Friday night we were there. There is also a large pool for summer visitors. The beds were comfortable, though some of the pillows were a bit odd. The room was large, with two comfortable chairs and a nice modern bathroom with a good shower. Our only minor drawbacks were not enough uht milk (only 4 tiny containers in a room big enough for 4, and being a country motel in a dairy area, I would have loved fresh milk), and a very high step from the parking area to the porch, or a very steep short ramp. This would make an otherwise accessible room a hazard for the elderly or mobility challenged.

Comfortable bed . Receptionist very friendly. I travel a lot for business and this place was too noisy right on pacific motorway, traffic all night . Arrived back to stay second night and found bed not made .....not happy. Restaurant also closed , this was not mentioned when booking made .

No reservation so a room was great.The bathroom was beautiful but the room itself was wanting a complete do over.While the beds were comfy the donna was in need of a little stuffing and the single bed doona had a rip in it.Other than that quite and accomodating and a beautiful bathroom.The dining room was closed for breakfast due to chef leaving but no notice in room.

My room was very modern, nice new bed and lounge very clean and modern bathroom great size room overall and quite. I would recommend to any traveler. Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for me they told me how to get to the shopping centres, post office, best bars and resturants, directions to Nana glen. Great breakfast fast service. Room was warm and cosy good size TV great air conditioner, fridge / mini bar was filled with a good mix of drinks and food, I travel all over New South Wales for work and don't often get the great service that was given to me while I was staying here.

A very clean, large and comfortable motel room with a superb rainhead shower rose.Although right on the main highway there was little noise but a room on the rear row units will be less susceptible to road noise. All the usual lotions etc were available and adequate. Having through Qantas check in/check out were quick and easy and professionally processed. Have stayed here before and will certainly return when next in Coffs.

I didn't have a reservation, driving through on my way south. I saw the free internet on the lit sign, then checked into a room at the back. Very helpful desk clerk gave me confidence about the quality. The room was clean and peaceful. As everyone mentions, lovely rainhead shower. All the liquids and lotions were full and ready in my bathroom. A great way to cut down on waste trash and product. The desk clerk was organizing for some people to get a lift to a local club for dinner in the club's van. It looked like fun, but I chose a quiet option. I slept really well, and awoke ready for a safe drive.

Very helpful staff Had room at front ground floor noisy but to be expected right on highway. Priced the same as anywhere else. Truck parking out front, very clean and tidy presents well. Would use again but maybe request rear rooms large size rooms.

We drove 12 Hours To This Hotel I Mentioned This To This To Reception Too. We Didn"t Get Any Sleep all night. The Trucks were using their exhaust brakes all night. The motel is on a Hill so that means Brakes Down Hill Accelerating Up Hill. Never Again. They need to pay Me To Sleep There.

We stop by in the afternoon and we really satisfied with this motel. We ordered queen bed they give us king bed (maybe is low season). The price reasonable, very clean, everything quite new, good bed, they also provided the proper liquid hand soap, liquid body wash, shampoo & conditioner & hand/ body cream all in the dispenser. Next time will stay in this motel again when we visit Coffs Harbour.

Nice and friendly staff, always willing to help. Very Affordable prices. Enjoyable and clean accommodation with really comfortable beds. Plenty of options for a pleasant meal as it is located in a good position in town. Well worth a go if you are in Coffs Harbour.

The duty manager was exceptional - I turned up grubby, frazzled, and laden with bags and equipment from spending two days working out at a field station. He was so friendly, and informative and kind. When I told him that my phone was broken, he gave me a local map and showed me where to find everything I might want (and the opening hours). For the price, I was expecting a motel room that was just adequately clean and convenient. Instead, I had one with a couch, a comfy bed, fast internet, and a newly renovated bathroom complete with a rain shower!

We arrived late in the evening and had to summon the manager(?) to assist us. He seemed confused since he had been told that all reservations had been checked in. Apparently a new staff person messed up check-in reservations. I was assured that we had a room and it all worked out. We were given a room along the back of the motel away from the busy street. The room was on the second floor and we had to climb stairs to reach it (something to consider if stairs are an issue). The rooms appear to be undergoing an upgrade. The bathrooms were outfitted with new sinks, cabinets and tiled showers. Our bathroom didn't look quite finished, and the shower door had problems. The outer rooms were clean and decent, just not impressive. The motel served our purpose of having a place to sleep for the night.

At first I was a little taken back. Arriving later in the evening it was a little confronting to see so many people hanging out around the balcony area. The guests were quite loud at an unreasonable time in the carpark, It isn't really the hotels fault. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed as the chef had resigned, this was a major consideration when booking, after driving all day I didn't really want to have to go out for dinner. The rooms were ok, surprisingly though, the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Would I return? I'm undecided.

The duty manager has been helpful upon check in. The location is quite convenient, you can walk to central (shops and supermarket, restaurant) within 5 minutes. Room is clean, with Free WIFI!! However the decoration of the room can be better.

Rooms are quiet for the location (next to a busy main road) and the staff were helpful and friendly. No shower caps were provided in the bathroom and when I requested one (you can't adjust the large shower head) it was promptly delivered to my room. A late check out was also accommodated. The hand cream dispenser in the bathroom was empty and no separate soap is provided aside from the dispenser which is very irritating if they are empty. The coffee cups were also dirty which was disappointing. Rooms are a good size and wifi is stable which was important for work that needed to be done. All in all a fair option for an overnight stay for business.

Recently stayed overnight on business trip. My room had a fantastic bathroom, very modern and the best shower and water pressure i have experienced in a long time. Had a room at back of motel so heard no noise.

Really enjoyed our night. Extremely friendly staff and was made extremely welcome on arrival. We will definetly be returning. We were traveling with a camper trailer and the staff made accommodation for it as well which I thought was very good of them

We have stayed in this motel a few times. We found the staff helpful and friendly. The rooms are really comfortable and clean. Although the main road seems close we have never been disturbed by road noise. It is a short drive to various eateries plus the motel's own Resturant is right there without driving anywhere. We cant comment on the motel's resturant food because we havent tried it. The menu ( shown in the rooms ) looks very different and interesting. The reason we havent tried it is, my husband only likes plain foods and I am gluten sensitive ( added together this makes us pretty boring dinner guests ! ) We like it enough to always stay there when we are traveling north or south.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The bedside reading lamps were inadequate. There was no hair conditioner in the dispenser in the shower, which I didn't realised until AFTER I washed my hair. I expected a bit more for $135 on a week day.

The room was above our expectations. Very nice bathroom, european basin, large and powerful shower head and convenient health and beauty dispensers in shower and bathroom. The room was standard. Cleanliness was overall good. They also provided complimentary free wifi. We would have no hesitation in coming here again.

I had been camping and sustained an injury resulting in a visit to the hospital and an inability to continue camping. The staff at the Zebra motel were amazingly welcoming , entered I had a ground floor room and could not have been more helpful. The room was extremely comfortable, clean and well presented. Nice new bathroom and comfortable bed. Thank you so much for your amazing hospitality!

This is a very friendly, clean, comfortable motel. It is very good value for money. Only downside as the restaurant was not operating due to no chef. A suggestion of places to eat in the vicinity would have been a nice addition to the room. Overall I would stay here again.

When travelling I look for stays that provide firstly, excellent service, great accommodation quality and value prices. These guys were fantastic. Bright, conversational and a happy place in the midst of a busy business schedule. I stay in many places. This was exceptional!!

Considering some of the other motels in Coffs this stacked up to be one of the BETTER. Rooms were roomy clean ,modern, within walking distance to pubs and restaurants Staff very good . breakfast available restaurant still closed but look expensive .

Well located and a short walk to clubs and pubs. I was very dissappointed that the restaurant had closed down and we had to go elsewhere for a meal. The bed was a little hard for me as I like a softer bed. Luckily we were in a back unit away frlom the traffic noise of the Pacific Highway

Excellent place for people finding peace on a world tour journey. coffs harbour is a great place for people who enjoy moderately bright sunlight, beautiful beach, and mountainous jungle near by. This hotel is right on the pacific highway, has an airport and a railway station too. It is out of the small town but at such a delicate small distance that you can enjoy both in and out of the city/town with great comfort and in a nice peace.

This motel is conveniently located close to shopping and entertainment within walking distance of shops, restaurants, pubs and clubs. The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I have stayed at this motel many times over the last few years and found the owners and staff very friendly and accommodating. The bathrooms had a face lift with a more modern theme a couple of years ago. The restaurant, although closed at my last visit has an unusual theme which is very appealing. The highway traffic noise can be annoying but acceptable.

The room was clean and great for what we needed travelling with young kids from Syd to Gold Coast. The restaurant was closed the night we stayed. Sadly the room rate was ridiculous at $350 because of the time of year, more than double what you would normally pay.

We searched Coffs Harbour for somewhere that was a close and easy drive to the Base Hospital as my husband required a Day procedure. We phoned around and after speaking to the very helpful receptionist decided on the Zebra. The rooms at $130 were well appointed with a very clean modern bathroom, lounge/ dining area, a King size bed and a mini bar. There was an air conditioner and a decent size TV. All in all very coomfortable for our two night stay. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask for more really.......very satisfied. Although close to the highway one really doesn't hear the traffic. Be aware that because of Health and Safety that the shower water is not hot hot hot. We didn't use the cold tap at all in the shower. We were told it was for safety reasons.

Very polite, friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely being stay here when I'm in town next. Room was a great size and very clean. Look forward to the resturant opening back up as I have heard good things.

I encouraged my colleagues to stay at the Motel as it used to have great atmosphere and a very good restaurant. I was quite disappointed that the restaurant was closed and the overall standard has dropped. I understand there are new owners since my last stay but boy from a thriving \\motel in a very competitive market to an average one is a real shame.

We stayed overnight at the Zebra Motel Coffs Harbour. The room was spotless!! facilities just what we needed. Main restaurant was closed at the motel, however, Woolies was close by. We were tired having driven from Gold Coast, so picked up supplies and ate in our room. Bathroom towels clean, soft and luxurious.

I enjoyed my stay at the Zebra Motel at Coffs Harbour,I only stayed for one night because I was on my way to Brisbane. The Receptionist was nice and friendly and the Room was nice and clean and very comfortable and it was only a short stroll to the Shops.

Checked in late 9pm, travelling from Sydney. Reception staff friendly. Room large a little dated but clean and comfortable , location very close to main shopping area hotels restaurants and shops. Only real concern was on the neon sign displayed at the front of the motel, stated free Foxtel (Austar) Tv and movie channels ! This was not the case 2 sports channels a cartoon channel and some other variety thing. Felt it was deceptive advertising but was too late in the night to bother reception. Overall may stay there again but did find it overpriced at 140 dollars a night could have stayed at opal cove resort right on the beach for 110 but a bit further out of town, other then that not too bad for a overnight stay.

The motel is an older style motel but the rooms are clean and have all the essentials. The kids used the pool and it was crystal clear. The staff member checking us in was pleasant and welcoming (we didn't have a booking). The bathroom had been refurbished relatively recently. We were at the back of the motel and there was very little traffic noise. All in all a good overnight stop on our way south.

It was a late afternoon booking on our travels and I couldnt have asked for a better Receptionist. Lovely, friendly and very helpful in getting our camper trailer parked so we could go site seeing the following day. Also gave information on what food would be available at that time of the evening and also the next day rang a resturant, that was across the road, to find out for us if it was open. Clean tidy and well presented Motel with very comfortable beds. Excellent

Was a bit expensive but the room was nice we paid cash for what we used and got charged $185.00 for s night not happy I'll think twice about staying there again unless I get a cheaper price like I was told

Nice clean comfortable motel, good location stayed overnight receptionist was a wealth if information and on the ball.. Pricey for a motel where you could get a hotel room on gold coast for an extra $70.00 being the new year break.

I travel throughout the State and always enjoy my stay at Coffs, the staff are always friendly and will provide great advice when asked, at one point they even contacted several other Hotels on my behalf whilst travelling, when they were booked out. Rooms are very spacious and Clean.

I used to stay here when traveling through on business but brought the family this time. Staff have not changed in that they are always helpful. The rate is great for a family of 5. Beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. Main road location has so its good and bad points (highway noise however we could put up with it and we are light sleepers, but is on the highway so very easy to get in and out of). When heading to Coffs Harbour or through, it has been my first choice.

A good overnight stop in Coffs Harbour for travellers along the Pacific Highway. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom had been renovated and was well appointed for this type of motel. The much advertised restaurant and bar (signs and in-room material) was closed because the Chef had resigned, so no meals or other room service was available. Outdoor pool looked inviting but wasn't tested!

Unsure when checked in, exterior tired and dated. Rooms fully renovated including bathroom. Exceptionally clean and functional including free wifi. Pleasant and helpful staff at reception. Quite expensive guessing as in peak period.

perfect for a quick overnight business trip - centrally located, everything was there that was needed. Tidy, clean etc. No complaints at all. Nothing further to add as I was there for less than 12 hours!

Very comfortable and convenient to the main shopping area. I regularly stay at the Zebra BW, as I find the staff pleasant and helpful. Excellent Wifi to address those emails whilst travelling during the day. Highly recommend.

Travelling regularly for business its always nice to be able to rely on continuous performance and service form the Best Western Zebra from a Motel always friendly clean groups the bar has its own atmosphere

Clean and tidy with most (maybe all but I've only stayed in few?) recently renovated. The rooms I have stayed in are spacious and have queen bed and small dining table plus desk and lounge. WiFi is excellent and free. The restaurant has been good when I have tried it but has been closed on my last couple of visits. However it's close to town and some reasonable eateries.

We loved our stay--the staff were very helpful, friendly, and happy!! Also the room was clean, and roomy, with everything we wanted for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay in a GREAT Motel !!! We will definitely be back to stay !! Highly recommend you choose this Motel if you want a great holiday...

Stayed overnight in Coffs Harbour to break up a trip usually we stay at Toreodor motel ( $95 for overnight) but they were full Stayed at best western Zebra up the road was charged $190 for one night. excessive pricing for a very very basic room considering a) the TV did not have access to all local channels so could not watch the news b) only 2 teabags for 3 of us and only 2 bath towels C) curtains were worn in places and randomly let light in D) single bed was not comfortable Would not recommend this place as it is poor value for money On the plus side the shower was great

The room here are lovely rooms and staff are even lovelier. The beds are very comfortable, always a plus when away from home for work. The bathroom fittings are modern and the shower head is a true rainfall style, so awesome. I always look forward to my stay here!

I cannot say enough good things about this motel. It is great, with new beds, new linen, sparkling bathrooms, new carpets it is great. This was one of the most comfortable rooms we have stayed in lately. Small mini bar and the usual coffee and tea set-up. Well done. Very well done. Liz, who works the Front Desk is the most helpful person I have run into in ages. She spent a lot of time on the phone and the internet helping me to secure our next room in Newcastle. She is so nice and so good at her job, it is amazing. The hotel is close to a shopping mall - 5 minute walk. Also close to cafes and shops. Good parking for the car. Very nice pool facility. Easy access off motorway and very easy to get back on. There is a small amount of road noise but nothing to worry about, very quiet at night for sure, noise picked up in the morning as did the traffic, all to be expected. Super place. I would stay again.

This is a good standard of motel. The bathroom was well appointed with modern appliances and had an excellent walk in shower. The bedroom was large with a king size bed which was incredibly comfortable with lovely fresh clean bedding. The furniture is basic but very serviceable with table and chairs to sit and eat a meal at, a lovely sofa and a kitchen area. Air conditioning was good and not noisy, and the free wifi worked perfectly. We were pleasantly surprised. An excellent motel for travellers passing through Coffs Harbour, though its not situated right by the harbour.

I stay here quite often with the boys from work once a week as we work on the highway so coming here to an amazing shower after a long day is great! And liz is just a superstar she is so friendly and nothing is too much to ask she makes our stay that much friendlier :) the beds are great rooms are just perfect ! Keep up the good work zebras :)

Good location walking distance to restaurants,shops rooms where clean,free WiFi and ok speed and on arrival we where greeted by a friendly receptionist which is always a good start to your stay and would recommend anytime for a short stay the Zebra Best Western Coffs.

I stayed in a king bedded room which was really nice and very modern it had everything that's needed for a rep free quick access to wifi as a well back supported business chair and table were I can do all my work that's needed. As well the beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are nice with a modern basin in it and I think has been recently renovated. I really recommend this place it was a great stay and oh and as well the staff were very friendly.

Being a country sales rep, I'm away usually 4 nights per week.I've been staying at the Zebra for many years. It's like a home away from home to me. The staff are great & very friendly & a fantastic asset to the Hotel. I alwats get a warm welcome at the Zebra & any requests are never a problem for Samret's staff. The rooms are always spotless & very comfy beds. Do yourself a favour & spend a night at the Zebra in Coffs Harbour. Billy....

We travelled down from the Gold Coast and decided to stay at Coffs Harbour. Upon arrival the receptionist was very friendly & no request was to much to ask for. We asked for a quiet room near the back which we got. Fast Wifi and a pool was great. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed until further notice, but we had an esky with our own food, and it was no trouble for me to heat it up in the kitchen while chatting. Even my dishes were done! Thank you so much for making us feel so very welcome!!

Had booking at b w parkview requiring lower ground. They couldn't meet booking and asked if vacancy at b w zebra. Yes. Zebra staff helpful and welcoming. Rooms in process of upgrading. Thankfully a possible major hurdle was walked around thanks zebra for your welcome.

I have enjoyed staying at this motel for over 8 years now. The reasons I like to stay are the friendly staff first and fore most, comfortable beds, clean rooms and ease of entering and exiting the motel. As it is in the centre of Coffs Harbour it is a great "base of operations" for me to do my job from. Also having strong and reliable Wi-Fi for end of day emails etc. is very important which this motel delivers tenfold. In summary I will be staying here ongoing well into the future. Thanks to management and staff.

Was a very pleasant place to stay nice clean rooms also very nice shower and staff were extremely friendly close to everything in coffs city will stay there again next time I visit made our weekend away much better

Booked the deluxe room which had a partially renovated bathroom, new tiles and shower screen and a very cheap toilet suite, but didn't bother with changing the towel rails etc, the mouldy ceiling needed the paint brush a long time ago.

I would recommend this place to whomever is passing by. It's definitely my home away from home, from the front receptionists who welcome you with a bubbly and happy attitude to the excellent rooms which are superb clean and tidy and also have been recently renovated. The beds are so comfortable I feel like I'm sleeping on pillows my wife and I will be definitely coming here again this is the spot for Coffs for sure.

The rooms were refurbished, clean and convenient and staff were pleasant and helpful. The location is near town and close to the harbour, and is easy to find. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open. But we would still recommend Zebra.

The Best Western Zebra Motel is conveniently located near town center. The rooms have been ungraded and looked comfortable with a king-sized bed. The bathroom has been updated with a large shower head. Free basic wi-fi is included. Unfortunately, the Zulu restaurant was closed for renovation, so we have to go elsewhere for dinner. Overall, a clean updated room for a short stop-over.
