« One Night Stay In Chesapeake/Portsmouth, VA »

I frequent Best Western Hotel properties as much as I do Hiltons. They have comparable living facilities for the most part considering the size of the rooms. Their rooms are generally clean and comfortable and the noise factor is minimally negative. The breakfast and Manager's Reception at Embassy gives them the edge as far as overall bang for the buck. However, if Best Western especially the Plus hotels would offer a bit more variety for breakfast, they'd be more competitive. This stay was pretty good for the one night investment (price wise and conveniently located to I-64).

« Not Bad for the Price »

Decent property; Staff unengaged. Best Western often advertises stay two nights, get one night free. However the stipulations and cut-off periods seemed to nearly always preclude me from being eligible.

« Good price, but not interested in going back »

We arrived very early in the morning and check-in was fast and easy. We entered the room (rm. 418) and it smelled clean. However, after turning on the lights and seeing the condition I knew it wasn't. Don't get me wrong, I know most hotels ARE NOT as clean as you would want them to be, but I at least like for my hotel to APPEAR to be clean. It looked as though no one ever dusted. Dust on the coffee machine, toilet, sink, the cover for the tissue box, the phone, etc. Maybe you don't have people staying there everyday, but at least make it clean for the next person coming. There were pink stains on the shower curtain and shower head from the mold and mildew. I didn't go in there with a fine tooth comb or magnifying glass, so these things were very hiding them. But the worst of it was the three roaches seen in the 2 nights that I stayed there. Also, the first day we were there no one cleaned our room. Staying in the room with two small children under three, dirty garbage cans and unmade beds greeted us when we walked back in. Great price, but definitely will not be staying here again.

« Clean hotel, good service »

We found the hotel was very clean, a good value for the price. The hotel helped us adjust our reservation to get two rooms side by side and just Best Western Points and $ to pay for one of our rooms. The breakfast area was spacious with a good selection of foods.

« Just getting away from the norm!!!! »

We just needed to time to get away from our everyday lives. Wife and I needed some alone time and we always go to South Carolina and just this time we decided to go to Virginia Beach and see what we was missing.

« Visit to son stationed in Norfolk »

I has $30 in BW gift cards and looked at all the area ones before deciding on this one. Pulling into the parking lot I first noticed junky cars and people smoking in front by the doors. I wS traveling alone with my daughter so I had second thoughts about staying here, but went to see inside. The lobby was nice and the people behind the counter were very nice so I decided to stay my scheduled 2 nights. The room was very clean, TV had a lot of channels, especially for kids. The water pressure was good and the water was hot. The air conditioner could use some work, kept it 64, and it never got near there, but room temp. Was comfortable. Never had breakfast so can't say anything about that, except maybe extend the time till 10, 9 is too early I think. All in all it was a nice place to stay.

    « Great Hotel! »

The quality of the hotel is great. The staff members are very nice and respectful, I recommend it . The reason for the staying was for business proposes but I would also consider this hotel for vacations because its clean and the attention its exceptional.

« Great place and great staff »

I picked this location because it was close to where I had to drop my daughter off for her college. I pulled in after driving from the DC area and was tired and to be honest, not ready to deal with red tape and bad customer service. The first person I saw was a young lady behind the desk with a great smile, her greeting was true and she saw right off how tired I was. She got me checked in, the rooms I asked for were ready and everyone was professional and friendly. The rooms were clean, bright and easy to get too. All in all, while I was there only over night, I recommend this to anyone. The fitness center was not the usual three broken treadmills, but actually had both free weights and machine weights. The breakfast was also not the usual bagels and old donuts. Fresh eggs, coffee, sausages and biscuits. Checkout was a breeze.

    « Pleased! »

I was looking for a hotel that allowed dogs. I was traveling with two on the way to the Outer Banks. The employees I encountered were all friendly. The rooms in the hotel were spacious, clean, and nice looking. They also included both a refrigerator and microwave. The hot breakfast they offered was awesome!! Nice variety with some hot items, too. We were very pleased with this hotel.

« Meeting son when his ship was in Norfolk »

First off, upon arriving to check in I was told I had reserved 2 double rooms. I showed them proof of a King room and a double room. They told me the King rooms had been overbooked. A gentleman switched things around (took about 40 minutes to get checked in). Because of this I decided to pay close attention to my checking account. Sure enough they put 3 holds on my account. I went down to the service desk on Saturday morning to have this correcred. I checked in on Friday and out on Sunday. On Monday the total amount for the rooms came out of my account. However they still had a hold on my checking acct for an additional 113.86. I called twice about it. First guy said he would have to do further research. He never called back. Second time a lady was rude. Refused to give corporate phone number and treated me as if I were stupid. Also had to go to Doctor and have shots and muscle relaxers because of terrible bed! Do not recommend this hotel !!!!!

« Great over night stay »

Front desk is very helpful, friendly. Great breakfast! This is great for overnight stay, would love to stay more than one night except the beds are not comfortable. I suggest they invest in new beds. However housekeeping is great, room was very clean!

« Not Bike Freidly as per Harley Owner group »

This was suppose to be a bike friendly but did not know or offer anything as per Harley owner groups web site. There was nothing offer when I got there to clean my bike or a place to park It maybe a small thing but after a long ride you like to clean the bike

« Great value..... Great staff »

Front desk staff was very helpful. Great value. I was very satisfied especially since its was very reasonably priced. Definatly a great place to stay. Clean room. Very helpful staff. Satora was helpful and thorough.

    « Pick another hotel »

One person at the front desk so it took some time to check in. I had no TV service for my overnight stay. I called the front desk several times. No solution to the problem, no offer for something else, no concern The room had that old odor. The hotel rooms need updating badly. I contacted headquarters regarding my concerns. They kept telling me that they would contact management for them to respond. Needless to say this has been since July 15, 2016-no response from the hotel. If headquarters can't get them to respond, why would they respond to me???? Upon checkout, I asked that my receipt be emailed to me. Did not receive email receipt until Aug. 10th or 11th. Headquarters had to intercept to get my receipt. Do not stay at this hotel!!!! If you have a problem, they will not resolve it.

« Want a clean room - do not stay here »

Unfortunately, this Best Western failed below all expectations - starting at arrival, when the reservation was mixed up and goving us the wrong room and continuing with room service that didn't clean the room properly even after complains. On the last day of the stay the clean towels were left on the door knob of the room in a laundry bag! The dust ws everywhere on the furniture, and microwave looked filthy on the outside. Complains worked on day 3 - the front desk lady came herself to clean the room and apologized

    « Never again »

This was my first time staying at a Best Western Hotel and after my experience it will be my last time. I found the front desk staff to be very unprofessional and unhelpful. Customer service skills are very poor. Me and my other family members ask for additional towels and we were both told "we don't have any towels available". Not good folks! When it was time for me to check out I had to wait approximately 15 - 20 minutes and there was no one standing in front of me. Again, poor customer service skills. In addition, the hallways and elevators were HOT and floors were dirty in the elevators as well.

    « Expected better quality »

Lock on door had been broken into, had to call maintenence maid service left door open on first day of cleaning, figure door didn't shut by itself had to force close i, becasue of damage to lock. . 1st day of maid service didn't completely clean and restock,2nd day didn't come in at all, front desk gave lame excuse because I had DND sign on door 8am while in the shower. If you stay here, check fridge for temp. everything froze, and microwave was unplugged.

« Nothing to write home about »

I was simultaneously planning a trip to Utah while planning a quick getaway. That's why I didn't realize, until we arrived, that this hotel did not have a pool. I wanted to go to the beach, but was unwilling to spend $300+ a night to stay near the beach. This hotel is roughly 30-40 minutes from Virginia Beach. It's a decent hotel for the money if you need to stay in this area. The free breakfast was nice and help me cut costs of the trip. My biggest gripe, and the reason I'm only giving 3*....I lost a silver ring the last night of our trip, in the room. It's completely my fault. I tore the room apart the next morning trying to find it, to no avail. It's in the room somewhere, I just don't know where it went. Again, my fault. I left a note for the housekeeper about the lost ring. When I dropped the keys at the front desk I let them know I lost a ring, and if it was found I was willing to pay to have it shipped to me. It has more sentimental value than monetary value. It's an angel wing and my Mom bought it for me when I was going through a rough time a few years ago. The gentleman at the desk said "Yeah, we don't really do that." With some prompting he took my name and phone number. But I'm not holding my breath that it will be returned, if its found. If I said right up front I was willing to pay to have it shipped back, why be so unwilling to help. If prompted I would have even offered to pay a "packaging" fee to the hotel for the trouble. That definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. One more thing I almost forgot. I put the do not disturb sign up our first two days so no maid service would come. On our third day I let them come why we were at the beach. We returned to the room to find my bed unmade because a "personal" item was found in the bed. The "personal" item was my son's deodorant. It's probably hotel policy and the housekeeper was just following the rules, but it was deodorant. I could see if it was underwear or another "personal" item that may cause embarrassment, but deodorant? Really?

« Would not stay here again »

The parking lot at the hotel seemed to have a lot of people just hanging out who did not appear to be guests. I did not feel comfortable leaving my car there. The room was not ready when we arrived at 3:45. We only had to wait about 10 minutes, so that was okay. Check-in went smoothly. The room was clean enough. The comfort of the bed is subjective, but it felt like sleeping on a rock slab to me. Breakfast was adequate, what you would expect, nothing special. The breakfast attendant was friendly. The biggest drawback to the stay was that my jewelry case went missing. When I called the hotel when I arrived home to let them know, they said they would have the manager call me the next day. The person who answered the phone said she saw a message about that and when I told her I had not reported it yet, she said maybe it was another person, which makes me think I was not the only victim. I never received a call from the manager. After staying here, I am quite surprised at the number of good reviews. I definitely would not stay here again and would not recommend to others.

« Good value for the money »

We chose this hotel for a one night stay on our way to the Outer Banks. It was close to the highway and had decent reviews on trip advisor. At first it seemed a little tired but it turned out to be just fine. The room was clean and quiet. Every staff member we dealt with or ran into was very friendly and accommodating. We didn't eat breakfast because we wanted to get on the road ( but breakfast starts at 6 am which is usually great for us). I stopped in to check it out. It was more than the usual cereal and muffins. It had all of that and eggs and French toast as well.

They say the first 20 minute of checking into a hotel, and you can tell whether or not its a good hotel or not...well how about 3 hours spent checking-in? I checked into the hotel the 18th of June, I arrived a little early, at noon. I let the front clerk know that I am there, available to check-in. The clerks told me it should be ready soon. 3 hours later, when my room supposed to be ready, it still hasnt been cleaned, no biggies. Another hours went by and still no room, I understand that they are busy because there were conferences going on in the area, but this is not an excuse. This conference has been planned for over a year, the hotel has been inform well in advance! some of my colleagues did not receive their hotel till 8PM Several of my co-worker got agitated, and the front clerks did absolutely nothing to help, some of them even provoke my co-workers. Never have I been to a hotel that have this type of service, this is worse than 1-star hotel, hell this is even worse than hotel service from over sea! The hotel hallway need cleaning, it smells like urine in the hall way The room has several flaws. Ethernet cable doesnt work, wifi service is horrid, if you want to game on laptop, dont bother, you will get disc often, even youtube was painful! The way the room was setup, I am sitting literally next to the AC, it constantly blow in my face, slight annoyance. The bed was comfy enough for sleeping. Morning breakfast was decent, I opt for dunkin donut right down the street or Wawa if you want more variety. If this hotel wasnt paid for by my company, I would have picked elsewhere, pretty much the worse hotel I ever stayed in. I've been to Egypt where the hotel service is better than this.

« Best hotel in Town »

The room was clean and very comfortable, the people at the hotel was very courtesies and have very good customer skills. I like this hotel and if come to town again I will chose this hotel again. The service in general was very good.

    « Great Value »

First time to stay at a Best Western in years, very nice hotel, great value, breakfast was worth getting up for, and staff were wonderful and very friendly! I will return to this hotel when I come back to visit friends and family....

    « Great Hotel »

Very nice hotel. It was in excellent condition. Close to car dealers, restaurants. Easy access to highways. The area the hotel was in was very quiet. The back side faced a residential area. The front side was commercial.

« Comfortable and not too expensive »

It's not the fanciest hotel, but my experience was pleasant, everything worked as I wanted and I was comfortable. It was one of the cheapest hotels that let me bring my pet while still being quite comfortable.

    « Very disheartening »

We stayed at the Portsmouth-Chesapeake location this week as my stepdaughter is in Navy. We were rushed on the morning of our departure which was June 1, 2016 to get her to Naval base on time. We left behind 2 articles, an eyeglass case for my new eyeglasses & a fairly new thin pretty white sweater type garment worn over dress. The eyeglass case was laying on the telephone beside bed on table & sweater on the bed. Have called 2 days now for manager to hear she is not available. The guy on phone just takes name & number but i have heard nothing. I would pay to have these sent to me but I cannot get anyone to verify they found them. I would hate to think employees would keep things left behind like this & am not saying at this point they have. But in room 122 at 7:30am these items were there when we left in a hurry. I had the sweater on & had taken it off & laid it down there to pack but forgot it & the eyeglass case. I cannot get anyone's attention to this matter.

« Very Nice Place to Stay »

Very nice place to stay at a reasonable rate. The rooms are clean and up to-date. Everything that is expected is there. Comfortable. Some locations have larger bed selection so take note of what you are getting. The breakfast is always a plus and what I look when making a selection of where to stay.

    « Stay elsewhere! »

The hotel had one wash cloth in our room when I asked for more towels I was told they only had two clean and the rest were in the wash! So I could not have them and they never offered to put some in the room once they were clean! The breakfast that is included is a joke we showed up at 8:30 for breakfast and they were out of hot foods, eggs, sausage, biscuits and potatoes were all empty. I asked and the woman working about the hot food and she said "when she was trained they said don't cook anything after 8:30" so me, my husband, my kids, and at least 5 other people I do not know were not given breakfast that was included.

    « Roaches »

Roaches crawling on the middle nite table, called front help there response OK...I will definetly won't be stayin there again. If there was no roaches the room would have been perfect. The area was very close to restaurants and very convenient.

« just a place to sleep at »

Our room was never clean and front desk not too friendly; however we arrived late and it was only one person handling everything at once;Phone calls, check in and service for room, Breakfast was very limited but the waffles were good. Overall bed were comfortable. You get what you paid for. Neighborhood was safe.

« A Nice Hotel and Good Value »

Stopped here on a recent road trip. Unfortunately we got stuck in a smoking room. This was my fault for not paying attention when i booked. However, I was disappointed in the hotels inflexibility in letting me swap it for a NS room. They said something about me booking it "over the internet" and they couldn't do anything about it (whatever). The smoking room had an extreme smoking oder. Someone needs to introduce these people to Febreeze. Good breakfast in the morning. Probably would look at other options next time I'm passing through. Overall a "good" value.

    « Never Again! »

Disgusting! The room was filthy! The dust was so thick you could write messages in it! Breakfast was horrible, what there was of it anyway (very poorly stocked)! I would have done better to sleep in my car!!

« Good for the money »

For the money, good place to stay. The housekeeping and engineering staff are really good. They are so helpful, mannerly, and respectful. Great lobby area, friendly breakfast staff. Area always kept clean.

    « Don't stay here »

Unless you are desperate for a room, keep driving. This in not a plus hotel. The room cost us over $100 for the night. Room was not very clean. Beds and pillows lumpy. Spiders on wall. Sperm stains on bed. So bad my husband called and removed his membership from Best Western.

« Poor Customer Service and Sleep Quality »

This hotel did NOT meet my expectations. My mom was admitted into the hospital 04/09/16 and the last thing you want to think about is NOT getting a quality night sleep. My room # was 327 with a very hard bed. I felt like I was sleeping on an ironing board and I already have back problems. The air conditioner/ heater system ran very poorly like a motorcycle in my room. The towels were very scratchy like sand paper. There was no comforter and thin blankets. Cold hall ways....Should I say more????

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast first morning-there was no food left by 7am. Night 2-The guests in the adjoining room were having a party. I knocked on the door and asked them to be quiet. I was greeted by a heavy fog of marijuana smoke. It appeared that one of the guest was smoking a crack pipe while sitting on the bed. I notified the front desk and told they would be asked to leave the hotel. I spent the entire night with one eye open fearing that they would come back for retribution. The room door barely shut and had a 2" gap of daylight streaming in from under the door. Obviously, I did not feel that the door would stop any intruders. No clean towels were provided for the second night. Everyone on the floor seemed to have the same problem.

    « Great place »

Everyone is really pleasant, helpful. It's been a delight to stay here. I will revisit. Room was very clean and nice. Everyone has went out of their way to make sure or stay is pleasant and we didn't need anything. I've traveled all over the U.S. and I would have to say they have been the best. A big thank you to the staff and management.

    « Can't expect much for 48 a night »

This is my 3rd visit to the area. I come once a month for work and this is a low income rough area. Most the surrounding hotels on church land are used for prostitution. I'm glad the parking lot is well lit because the hotel is backed by a sketch neighborhood and at night there's always wanderers. My room was small. Single double bed. Nothing was dirty. The bed was clean which I appreciate and expect. The bathroom was clean as well. The sink looks new but the toilet and bathtub are dated. The bathtub bottom has a no slip mat that's starting to peel and it grossed me out. One really annoying thing was that there is no outlet next to the bed... I'm not the only one out there who likes to lay in bed before sleeping on their phone. Having to set ur phone on the desk to charge is a bit of an inconvenience. The front desk staff are super friendly. The lady who puts together the breakfast is nice too. The fitness center is sparse but it had what I needed (treadmill, elliptical, dumbells up to only 30lbs and a cable machine). The water dispenser was empty though and no sign of disinfectant wipes (kind of freaked me out and has to wash my hands multiple times). Not to say they don't clean the machines, but ringworm is no fun and rather not risk it. OK so now to the breakfast. 48 bucks and it includes breakfast ??? I've stayed at other (nicer) best westerns and they all have the same stuff... scrambled eggs, a protein, biscuit or waffles, cereal and pastries. They usually rotate out stuff. This place served sausage patties and this weird preformed eggs everyday. Look at the picture it almost looks like those fake eggs that come with kids play cooksets. It's bizarre. Anyways u can still make do with the other stuff and waffle house is down the street so not too horrible. If I'm in a pinch I can fall back on this place. I've had to cancel a lot of reservations at a lot of places in this area after just walking into the lobby. So his place still beats them all. I'll try another place next month, but I know this place will be here if I need it.

« dirty rooms and pork products »

If you want to eat pork everyday, go here.. if you want to come to dirty rooms everyday, come here! the staff was friendly but they need more help with executing their job. i will never stay here again.

    « 3 1/2 Stars »

I arrived around 3 am and was tired from the road. Service checking in and out was helpful and friendly. The room was a little rough around the edges but was not a deal breaker. Some wear and tear but clean. The bed was a little firm and not as comfortable as I would have liked but I slept alright. I missed breakfast so I can't comment on that. The rate was great and the stay was decent so I would return if in the area

    « 1-2016 »

Low overall. The bed went down hill at the head by at least 4 inches. The room was not very clean. The Hostess was good. The location was not convenient to the freeways. I do not want to write a book here.

    « personal »

a very neat & tidy place to stay. clean comfortable room, good working tv, good bed, nice people to deal with. a good selection of vending machine items. a good breakfast served by a very attentive lady. very easy to find off the interstate. easy access in & our of the hotel.

« Lots of inconviences with this hotel. »

The first thing I found terribly wrong with this hotel was the first night when I was checking in from Expedia. It turns out the hotel can't seem to update their email address with Expedia so they could not email the hotel the reservation so it would be an easy process to check into the hotel. I ended up coming in and having to call Expedia and spend an hour dealing with customer service at 11 o'clock at night just to check into a room. After finally checking in me and my fiance got settled in and then the smoke detectors started going off and they continued to randomly go off all night long. When leaving for work that morning I asked the desk clerk how much it costed to do laundry in the hotel and she told me all I needed was 4 quarters, 50cents to wash and 50 cents to dry so after going all around town looking for a way to get quarters I ended up finding out she lied to me and it was actually $2.00 to wash and $2.00 to dry in quarters which is extremely ridiculous. Inside the rooms there is no ventilation so it seems stuffy inside the rooms. There needs to be a fan in the bathrooms so the room does not stink when you use the restroom as well. The hotel charges $80+ per night which is outrageous for what you get. Honestly it isn't worth but $25 a night if that what my experience. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

    « Excellent stay »

Our stay at the Best Western was excellent! The staff was particularly helpful and most professional and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for a pleasant stay away from home.

    « Bed Bugs »

We woke this morning to find bed bugs covering our sheets and blankets. After getting dressed and going to the counter, we were treated with the utmost respect. That ended when the day manager arrived. The manager (identifying herself as Kim) told us she would do nothing to help us. She also said that we only stayed overnight so there was no way the bugs would get into our stuff. We were supposed to stay two nights, but Kim told us that we could just go to another hotel because she was not going to do anything about the issue. She also claimed that they were magically booked up. She also assured me they had never had an issue with bed bugs before us. I am not as upset about the bed bugs (which mind you I'm really mad about) as I understand it's not necessarily their fault. I am very upset by the poor treatment from Kim! Also, I registered the bed bugs through a national registry (yes that apparently is a real thing) and low and behold, they have other complaints about bed bugs! Do not go here! Not worth the money you will have to spend treating bed bugs at home!

« Worst motel stay ever Best Western »

If I had a car that ran like this motel I would drive it into the river. One real horror story of a visit. Gave our smoke free room to another party and stuck us in a smoke ridden death trap. When shown proof of our reservation we were ignored after initially being called liars. When the shower didn't work the next morning properly I tried to dry off to go report it to find that there were towels. After drying off with toilet paper, I stood at the front desk in my jeans, shirtless and covered with little pieces of toilet paper. I was trying to get to my mother's funeral and needed to be at a sound check at the church for the music I was to play. Their response was, "We'll try to find you some and walked off. I stated that I would stand at the desk until I was brought some towels. Really, why don't you hit me over the head with a bag of hammers and then charge me money for it.

    « Great Family Stay »

A family member came into town and we opted to all (3 of us) stay at the hotel together. The staff was friendly and accommodating, we were able to enjoy our two night visit and end it with a great breakfast in the morning. I stay at the hotel often to enjoy some quiet exhale time and was extremely pleased that I could I had a place that was clean and comfortable in which to spend time with family

    « pet friendly....not customer friendly »

When arriving after a 12 hour drive there were 2 dogs barking in the room next door. The hotel wouldnt relocate us as we were told it was a Pet friendly hotel. and there were no rooms. The dogs barked for 8 1/2 excrutiating hours. After complaining I was assured the GM would phone me. That hasnt happened. They also double billed me. After calling again.....was told that the GM was the only one who could handle it, and she wasnt going to be in for almost a week. Totally unacceptable..and unproffesional on the GMs part. NEVER AGAIN

This hotel is pet friendly which means a lot to us with 2 dogs. Highly recommend staying here. Great location and easy off and on the interstate. The area is very nice with lots of places and shopping.

This was a nice place to stay, I didnt realize it was a dog friendly hotel that is the reason I didnt give it a 10. It was very clean the staff was friendly and they had what I needed for the time I was there. Its in a great location with access to food and a walmart right down the road .

The front desk service was spectacular, but beyond that it was horrible. Our door (room 223) had been "busted in" in the past and never locked (it could easily be pushed in at any time - in fact, we didn't even have to use our room keys), our room was never cleaned even though we were gone all morning and all day, there was an actual bug in our bed we had to dispose of (small beetle, the size of a pencil eraser), a cocktail was strewn across our doorway, and a prostitute was clearly rooming directly upstairs from us (we would hear her admit a new customer and "go at it" with bed-post thumping for the next hours, then admit another customer and go through the same routine, etc.), etc. We never felt safe and we had a small child with us. We will not stay there again, though your front desk lady was wonderful.

Made an online reservation for 9/27 advising I was traveling with a small pet. The sie states "pet friendly" does NOT list a fee. Tre reservation was made at the quoted rate and paid for by credit sard. At check in I was informed there was a $20 fee sor the pet. When I questioned the clerk she got on the phone to ????? For 20 minutes and then informed me I could take it up with the Mgr after 9am the next day. I left early the next am and when I called to speak to the mgr I was put on hold and left hanging until my patience gave up.

This well-located property was comfortable, featured a complete set of business-related amenities, was well-staffed with a courteous and professional staff, and was very reasonably priced. When business takes me back to Suffolk, I'll definitely be back!

Great value for the money. Staff is very friendly and looks out for your needs. Conveniently located near restaurants even if you arrive late at night. I arrived late, but was able to check in easily. The building was secure and clean. Breakfast is a bonus, but even if you don't eat here Waffle House is just up the Blvd.

For the price, it was an excellent value. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The room was nice & the bed was comfy. Free coffee 24 hours a day! Also a free breakfast -- not so great, but free. Room was very quiet -- good soundproofing. Smoking rooms are available -- something rare these days & a huge plus for my husband & I. Lots of restaurants nearby. And only 20 miles from Virginia Beach.

The room was great and the staff was very friendly. They lock the main doors at night to keep non-guests out. The Beds were comfy. Breakfast was good with options for everyone from eggs, sausage, pancakes, cereal, and fruit. The hotel was in the perfect spot from where we needed to go. We would stay again.
