    « Great stay »

I loved the rain shower in the bathroom. The room was comfortable and very clean. It made our stay there very nice. The restaurant on the property was amazing. Our breakfast was awesome every morning and one day we ate lunch there and the food was just stellar! Their staff was friendly and professional.

    « Wonderful Experience »

Fantastic customer service; Very friendly and accommodating. Very comfortable bed and everything was extremely clean. Having my room upgraded was a wonderful perk of being a Gold Member with Best Western. I would definitely recommend this room to anyone staying in the Billings Area. I enjoyed my stay!

« Not the best Best Western »

This hotel has thin walls which make sleeping difficult; I could hear the guy in the next room cough and sneeze and anytime someone went into the bathroom in the adjacent room I could hear EVERYthing; it also had a very perfumy lobby, and a confusing layout with multiple buildings. The low garage ceiling (6'6") made parking difficult because I have a roof-top carrier on my car which would not fit inside the garage, relegating me to the outdoor lot which was full so I had to park on the street.

    « Excellet Location »

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was very central to everything. It was a good value. The café that is attached had good food and courteous people working for them. Everyone we encountered in Billings was very nice and helpful.

« Great place to stay! »

This was an excellent place to stay. The staff, the property, and the location were fantastic! The bathroom with the 2 headed shower and heated tile was amazing, Stella's (the restaurant) serves excellent food (although they are super busy with locals) and there's literally dozens of eating and drinking establishments within walking distance of the hotel. Try Jake's if you want some fantastic food and wine( although they're not cheap!). I will not hesitate to book here again.

« Good rooms (if you find yours) »

A good clean room in an older motel with a strange layout, one section with two floors, one with three floors, parking in the middle and under one section, first floor on ground in one section, first floor on the second floor in another - people wandering around parking lot looking for their room. Once found it was a good room: large, two chairs, desk, large wall TV, beds and pillows very comfortable, plug-ins by the bed, large bathroom with large excellent shower and big, fluffy towels, very long counter with shelves for storage, big mirror and good light.

    4
« Rooms not the usual BW standard »

Very friendly and easy check in, parking easy and close to city centre. Rooms were not as good as most other best western hotels. Breakfast location was just outside the hotel in a separate building which was fine and friendly.

    « Terrible »

Where do I start. I went there for a concert that was being held nearby with 3 other 55+ year old women. The room was nice enough, but location was the biggest plus. The downfall all started with getting called during dinner to move my car that was parked a few inches over the designated line to avoid hitting the pillars with the car doors when we got out, or else it would be towed away. Asking me to move it would've been sufficient. Next, when we returned from dinner to get ready for the concert about 6pm we had a Bose stereo playing and not loudly. We received a knock on the door, they informed us this was our only warning that we were too loud. Really??? It was 6 pm! We went to the concert, had a great time. 2 of us came back about 11pm, the other 2 came back about 1am and were excitedly talking as they were getting ready to go to sleep. Again we got a knock on the door. They told us they were kicking us out and calling the police despite the fact that we had been drinking and had nowhere to go without driving and risking others lives as well as our own. They said it wasn't their problem, that we had to leave right now. We ignored them and went to bed, the police never came. I get that we were probably talking louder than we thought but just telling us they had a complaint would've been sufficient. My issue is how they handled this situation, not whether we were talking louder than we thought we were. I would never stay there again or recommend anyone else to stay there, ever!

« Trip back in time »

I usually stay in downtown Billings, but this was my first stay at the Clock Tower Inn. It has the old school motor inn vibe but with all the modern amenities. Great location, walking distance to great restaurants and bars. Front desk staff was very friendly. Had a complimentary breakfast at Stella's next door which was an unexpected surprise and a great meal!

    « Park & Fly! »

We love using the Park & Fly package at ClockTower Inn. Our vehicle is secure and covered while we vacation and no matter how late our plane arrives at night, the shuttle driver and front desk are as friendly and welcoming as if you were arriving at noon instead of midnight. After a great night's sleep in our clean, comfy room we enjoy the free breakfast at Stella's Bakery. Wouldn't change a thing and will be staying here again!

« Good location, near downtown dining »

We selected this location for its proximity to the downtown restaurant district. We usually stay (2x yearly) on the West side of town at Comfort Suites, and drive downtown to eat. The hotel was nice, the room was VERY clean and well kept. Unfortunately, our room was a ground-level unit, right next to an outside gathering area with benches and grass. About the time the bars closed (1:45am), a number of people {guests?} congregated in the area, and carried on loud conversations for an hour or more, waking us and keeping us awake until they dispersed sometime after 3am.

    5
    « Billings Meeting »

I had to be in downtown Billings for a meeting at the Northern Hotel. For less than half the price I got a great room (nicely furnished, great shower, very clean) at the Best Western Clocktower. Two short blocks to my meeting. Great breakfast in Stella's. Hotel is close to everything you might need downtown.

    5
« Convenient, friendly, quality, economical »

From the convenient airport shuttle provided on call from the hotel to the very friendly and helpful staff, to the quality of the rooms for the economical price, and also being dog friendly, when we come to Billings again we'll stay here.

« Rooms so nice Staff outstanding!! »

Great location for work and breakfast at Stellas is amazing. Great Staff and so glad dog friendly. Rooms are re-done and done very nicely. I always stay here on my visits for work to Billings, Montana. Great location, Rooms and People there are truly amazing, they care about you, vs. just a job. Thank you again!

    « Fine hotel »

Wife and I visited for the Billings Marathon and stayed here a few days. The hotel is dated which probably generated a bias. The rooms were clean but a bit dark. The location was excellent. The front desk service was also good. Worth a look.

    « Good Solid Choice »

We had 2 opportunities to sample this hotel. Once on the way in & once on the way out. They were very different on the actual room. The first was very used worn and dreary. The second visit was in a remodeled section & was much nicer though not as convenient for an overnight stay. The staff was consistent 'Great'; these young ladies very frank, knowledgeable, helpful, & actually acted like they enjoyed their job. They have an adjoining breakfast restaurant that packs 'em in no matter when you go. They give you a restaurant card with discounts (Show room key) to places that are a short walk away & our choice was excellent (Chow Mambo). Literally 4 minutes to the airport. We had no electricity in half our room on arrival & housekeeping arrived in 2 minutes to fix it.

    5
« Trip for medical appointments »

My trip was made so much easier by staying here. Not only did i receive a medical discount, I was allowed to check in early on my day of arrival. They also offer free homemade breakfast. On checkout day my medical appointments lasted a couple hours past checkout time and the office staff had no problem with me checking out late. Thank you for such great hospitality!

    4
« Great Location And Very Friendly Staff »

The staff was outstanding! They went out of there way to help in anyway we requested. The room was clean and breakfast second to none. The location is fantastic, within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Well done! The noise level was a little high, but nothing can be done about that.

    5
« Best hotel on our trip »

We will make it a point to stay here. We travel with Clari, our Chihuahua. Our room was right outside one of the AstroTurf dog spots, so convenient and well-maintained including doggie cleanup bags. The room was well-appointed, with many creature comforts. Every lamp had outlets for charging our 4+ devices. Casually elegant decor, and clean as a whistle. Whenever we make the trip from Texas to Montana, this is where we will stay.

    5
« great value for dogs and humans alike »

This is a wonderful, pet friendly hotel in the heart of downtown Billings. Its close to restaurants and medical facilities. The staff is excellent and very friendly. We chose this hotel because we had our dog with us. They have a special dog area right adjacent to a block of rooms that have individual exterior doors. Breakfast at Stella's next door is included in the rate and is excellent. The exterior was beautiful with colorful window boxes, and the lobby was comfortable. This is an older hotel with a lot of charm that is well taken care of. The room we had was clean and outstanding for the rate. We will stay here next time in Billings with or without our dog.

« A long time favorite downtown hotel! »

This hotel has been around for a half century and was formerly named The Ponderosa Inn. Despite being fifty years old the roo,s are nicely appointed and kept updated and attractive as well as very clean. The desk staff was efficient and pleasant and a maintenance man offered his assistance while I was unloading my car. It is conveniently located right downtown, close to many great restaurants, galleries, museums and shopping.

    4
« Nice choice in downtown Billings »

We found the rooms to be very comfortable with quiet AC. Good central location. It is on a one way street, which is a little confusing, but there is an alley that crosses to the street going in the other direction. The best thing was the breakfast. You order off the menu at an excellent restaurant next to the motel. Very nice people at the desk. Very good value.

    « Pleasantly surprised! »

Stayed here 22nd and 23rd Sept and then again on the 1st Oct after a week at theTx ranch! Was a little unsure, because it was a motel rather than a hotel! The shuttle picked us up from the airport, which was great as we arrived quite late at night. The staff were excellent, very friendly and really helpful! The rooms were nice and clean, but much prefer the rooms around the pool. It was the first time in the States for my sister and I, so we bombarded the staff with constant questions! They went out of their way to help us and they were great fun and made us feel really welcome and at ease. The breakfast at Stella,s next door was fab!

« Best place to stay in Billings! »

If you are heading to Billings you need to try the Best Western Clock Tower Inn downtown. My friends and family and I have stayed there for several years. The grounds are clean, the rooms are beautiful and spacious, and they provide everything a traveler needs. They are very dog friendly with a pet welcome kit at registration and "relief areas" outside in the heart of downtown. The staff is professional and attentive to every request. The owner, Steve, is a gentleman who would love to meet you and make sure you have everything you need. The restaurant on site called Sella's is fabulous for breakfast and lunch with one of the best bakeries in the western U.S. Dinner choices nearby include Jake's steakhouse and Walkers, both within 2 blocks. Bottom line, you can't find a finer place to stay for business or family vacation than this!

    4
    « Convenient »

We stayed overnight while driving cross country and were glad we did. This is obviously an older property. Check in was great, and we were allowed to park right near the stairs to the room. The room itself was a bit small - never a surprise for an in-town hotel. The furniture was in pretty good shape and the refrigerator was big. There aren't many electrical outlets, and one thing looking for them revealed is that the hotel needs to clean under and behind the bed and tables. The bed was comfortable. Wifi was slow. The grout around the tub had mold. The location is great: we were able to walk easily to lots of restaurants for dinner (there's a discount if you remember but I did not) and in the morning had a great breakfast next door. The checkout person was just as good as check in. I wish the'd do some cleaning and fixing but would stay again

    « Not for me. »

Don't usually stay in motel type places but this one had great reviews and it was on our way to Colorado. They accept pets and do not keep them to particular rooms which does not bode well for the non pet people. Carpet stains were a distraction-I kept my socks on. Otherwise seemed clean. Slept good. Check in staff were great. The rush on the complimentary breakfast created a line of people so we did not stay for that.

    4
    « Excellent downtown location »

An overnight stay to fly out of Billings after visiting Wyoming and Montana for 2 weeks. Restrant (Stella's) next to property and great breakfast included. Other items on menu get 10% off. Staff very friendly, professional and helpful. Hotel is an older motel style, but upgraded and retrofitted very nicely. No bath but double walk-in shower stall was fantastic. 2 shower heads, no waiting! Free airport shuttle efficient and on time. Again the staff were excellent and that is what makes or breaks a hotel...Along with a good free breakfast.

« Great place to stay in downtown Billings »

The ClockTower has 1960's motel style buildings--easy in and out by car, rooms ringing a swimming pool, and an old fashioned diner style restaurant with an outstanding breakfast. The hotel has been remodeled recently, so everything is in good condition. The location is in central Billings so it has a city feel and more soul than hotels one finds out on the interstate. My room (an ADA wheelchair accessible room) was very comfortable with a king bed, a large seating area, and an easy access bathroom. Stella's, the restaurant, closes at 5 pm, but I found a cool farm-to-table style restaurant nearby and got carry-out food. I would definitely stay at the ClockTower again.

    « A Wonderful Surprise »

It was on a sad occasion that we visited Billings for the first time, as my wife's cousin's wife had passed away. We were traveling with my in laws, as sharing a suit at the hotel that night, which can always be challenging. But as we made our way to the Best Western Clock Tower Inn, we immediately felt at home. We arrived late, and there was an energetic young man who was the night clerk, happily conversing with a lady checking in for her stay, and a couple who were relaxing in the comfortable chairs, enjoying a cup of coffee. The clerk apologized for the delay -- which there really was none -- exclaiming he really likes people. The decor was warm and inviting, and I was wondering if it might just be a facade to hide something. But I was pleasantly surprised! We parked our vehicles safely in the covered parking area, and made our way to our room. As we exited the elevator, our eyes beheld an oasis in the center courtyard -- the pool all lit up and inviting, with everything in its place. Then, we opened our door to our room, and were welcomed by a nicely furnished room, with amenities that one might expect from a hotel of greater expense. The furnishings appeared to be brand new. The bathroom was well thought out, with a spacious shower with two shower heads -- one on the ceiling that gave a soft cascade of water that each enjoyed as it was his or her turn. The big screen LCD TV mounted to the wall proved perfect for catching some college football in high def. we all slept soundly, and my back, which had been hurting all day, was pain free in the morning. Anxious to try breakfast, we all made our way to Stella's Restaurant, which shares a corner of the property. The place was alive with happy, people enjoying their morning breakfast. We were given a voucher from he hotel to take with us. Now, I was skeptical again of what we wee allowed to have included in our room fee. But again, I was surprised at the choices on the menu we were given, along with the regular menu. The waitress didn't treat us as second class because we weren't ordering off the big menu, and said I could order off both, and pay the difference. Again, thinking the portions might be small, I ordered the ham and cheese omelet with hash browns, toast and juice. Then, I ordered a side of oatmeal and fresh fruit -- what I'd pay extra for. When the food came, I was pleasantly surprised to see I was wrong yet again. The portions were large and satisfying. I left happily very full, as did we all. We gathered our things, and checked out. Again, the morning clerk treated us like family, and was careful to make sure everything went as hoped. I would recommend staying here to anyone going to Billings. Anyone.

    « Road Trip »

An excellent hotel. Nicely decorated spacious room with very comfortable beds. Reception staff very welcoming, helpful and cheerful. Adjoining Stella's kitchen and bakery is great for breakfast and pastries. Lots of good restaurants and bars in close proximity.

  • 4
« Convenient for the airport »

We flew in near midnight and it was no trouble for the hotel shuttle to pick us up and drop us back to the airport when we left. The staff were great and patient despite the late hour, so a good place to choose for a quick, efficient and comfortable pass through.

    5
« A nice little oasis in downtown Billings! »

Nice Best Western in downtown Billings. Lots of p,ants and flowers all around the property. The rooms were very nice, large with updated bathroom fixtures. Pretty quiet for a downtown hotel. Coupon for hot meal at restaurant next door. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Outdoor parking as well as indoor covered parking. Within walking distance of many restaurants.

    5
    « "Great" »

Wasn't sure what to expect with this hotel, and booked it as it's brilliant for downtown Billings. Other hotels are situated about 4/5 miles away from downtown, If you're from UK/Europe, you may not be used to the format in how the rooms are set up, on a motel style, but do not let this put you off. If you're unsure about having a ground level room, then ask for a second level room in your booking. We found the room great, clean, and front desk service excellent. Parking is on site, but a little tight. Free coffee and Wi-Fi. The free breakfast is unbelievable, if you can finish anything you order you'll be doing well. We enjoyed our stay here and would certainly recommend to others.

    5
« A real gem in Billings, MT. »

Front desk at check in was like coming home. Staff greeted us like we were family. Efficient use of space. From the rooms to the covered parking spaces. 24 Hr. airport shuttle came in handy as we had to be at the airport by 0515.

    5
    « Very Nice for the $$ »

I recently stayed two separate nights the The Best Western Plus Clocktower in Billings. Everyone we dealt with there was friendly, funny and helpful. You could tell they enjoyed working there. The room was very clean and very spacious and most importantly the shower had lots of pressure and hot water! This was especially important after 6 days camping and horseback riding in Montana! Should I ever find myself in Billings again, I would not hesitate to stay there again.

    2
    « Disappointing. It's a motel not a hotel. »

The location is good, it's right downtown. The front desk personnel are friendly. The room leaves much to be desired. The building is old and needs to be updated. You enter the rooms from an outside walkway, so it is like a motel. The beds are not very comfortable.

    5
« Nice place to stay in Billings »

The rooms are clean and large. The free breakfast is great, as the attached restaurant is one of the top places to eat in Billings. The staff is very nice and helpful. Given the location in the middle of downtown, the hotel is a great place for business travelers.

    4
    « Vacation sleeper »

Just what we were looking for. Great location, very clean, pool, excellent breakfasts, walking distance to breweries, downtown shopping and food. We will be back and stay here again. Very happy my wife found this hidden gem!

    5
« Place to stay in Billings, MT »

Top notch! Great comfortable room; speedy wifi; great service; walking distance to great night spots and dining; best breakfast in town...get a cinnamon roll for sure! You are also within walking distance of shopping, Trail Head Distillery, and brew pubs. You cannot go wrong staying at the Clocktower Inn.

    4
    « Nice room »

We stayed here for 1 night in September. We arrived late and left early so didn't get to visit Billings itself. The hotel was easy to find and the room was clean. We had breakfast at the cafe, which was lovely.

« Small rooms but very clean »

Rooms were very clean but very small. Bed was comfortable. Service was good. This hotel is downtown so we could walk to many restaurants. Would have given 5 stars but hotel is a little dated but they do keep it clean & nice with tons of flowers on the property. Best part is they give you a voucher to eat breakfast next door at "Stellas", which was a great place for breakfast...is also a bakery!! Overall a great value for the money here.

    5
    « Good Value »

Nice centrally located hotel with pleasant staff. The single I booked was a european double so plenty of room with a large shower. Airport shuttle and excellent cafe next door a very convenient bonus.

    4
    « Pleasant Surprise »

The location of the hotel is excellent. The staff is friendly. Now the parking is a little concerning, very spread out and dark at night leaving concerns of safety. The rooms are a little small but this is all made up for from the location.

    5
    « Great Stay »

The owner and his staff were very friendly, cooperative, and helpful. They made special arrangements to park our RV during our stay. The hotel is very pet friendly, Kayla who worked at the check in desk offered to watch our dog while we went out for dinner. Breakfast was provided as part of the stay, next door at Stella's and it was great. The hotel and restaurant staff made for a wonderful stay.

    5
« Great Place to Stay »

We stayed for 5 days at the Best Western clock Tower and the rooms were clean the Staff was amazing. You could walk to everything downtown and the breakfast that comes with your room is amazing. Thank you to Steve and his Staff

    5
    « Great Location/Breakfast Option A Treat! »

Loved the downtown location with quality dining options that were within a short walk to the hotel. We also enjoyed the breakfast in at Stella's next door in the morning. It was packed, and they did a great job accommodating everyone quickly.

    5
    « Wing Ding 38 »

Very friendly & comfortable. The staff went out of their way to make sure that we felt welcome! We met the owner in Huntsville, AL. at Wing Ding 37 and he assured us that our trip would go off without a hitch and it did!! His staff and his property were all prepared. The breakfast that was included was the best that we had on our 17 day trip that covered 6,500 miles.

    5
    « BEST WESTERN CLOCKTOWER »

Very clean and friendly, I have stayed here for the past 22 years and have no complaints, it is my go to hotel in Billings and always try to book it for my annual trip.......the only thing I would like changed would be quieter air conditioning as I am not used to sleeping with air conditioning units running

    5
« Clean, Comfortable and a great spot! »

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay, staff at front desk were so helpful and efficient. Rooms were super clean, beds comfy, and the towels in the bathroom impressed me so much. The free breakfast was outstanding, we went early as we heard it gets busy, excellent service. Free parking a nice perk as well. Highly recommend this hotel.

    3
« Close to downtown restaurants and bars but not without some problems »

The free airport shuttle, modern rooms, strong Wi-Fi, and decent free breakfast next door at Stella's are all reasons to stay here. The area has lots of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance, including an Albertson's and a CVS just a few blocks away as is the Yellowstone (County) Art Museum. On arrival at the airport I called for the shuttle and was told it would be there in about 10 or 15 minutes. A half hour later and no shuttle, I called back and was told sorry but no one told the drive to pick me up so it was another wait until the pickup arrived. Not a good start. I slept OK here, my ultimate test, but if in Billings again I might try one of the other downtown hotels instead.

    « Clean and comfortable !!! »

So we wound up here after the flight out was canceled ... the room was a bit on the tiny side but very clean and comfortable. The staff was AMAZING !!! It's not far from some great places to dine. A nice little outdoor pool (sigh ... unheated so hit in when the sun is at it's peak). A very secure building.

    5
    « Great downtown location »

We wanted a location right in the downtown area . We choose this hotel and we are glad we did. The hotel is two story with inside and outside corridors with a pool in the courtyard. We parked the car and walked all over downtown area the two days we were there. Dozens of shops, art galleries, restaurants and bars within walking distance. The room was large and clean. The hotel provides breakfast at a restaurant on premises, Stellas, which was delicious. Anyone who wants to stay in downtown Billings should consider this hotel.

« Owner Management take pride in this property »

I love staying at the Best Western Clock Tower in Billings! The management of this property obviously take great pride in their facility. The staff are very accommodating and the facility is well maintained with extras! I love the make up mirror in the bathroom. I would highly recommend this property. The central downtown location makes it easy access to wonderful restaurants and shopping

    « One night only »

Good for one night not for a lengthy stay. Breakfast was excellent and the restaurant was next door. The swimming pool needs work and was not very attractive. Te hotel is old and updated rooms but still feels old.

    « Welcoming and Comfortable »

We booked this at the last minute because of a change in plans. We needed a pet-friendly room and Best Western Plus ClockTower Inn had one. After a long 10-hour drive, we arrived to a very friendly greeting by Patrick at the front desk. Our room was fantastic because the 2 beds were divided by a partial wall, one with a TV and one without. There was plenty of room for our dog, his bed and his food. It was absolutely perfect for us! Honestly, we've been to other Best Western hotels and they were adequate so we were wonderfully surprised over the rather deluxe accommodations here. The arrangement with the restaurant for breakfast was especially nice! All in all, this is a 5-star hotel, in our opinion and we will plan to stay here again when we travel through Montana.

    5
« Great place to stop »

clean, great location and very helpful and friendly staff. AND, the breakfast coupon for the on-site, full service restaurant for a full menu breakfast was super and at least a $25 value for a couple.

    « Nice »

They got my room mixed up so they upgraded me to a bigger room that you entered into from inside. Being a single female, I was concerned about outside doors, but that wasn't a problem with the upgrade. Staff was very friendly. Didn't get to eat the breakfast next door at Stella's due to an early flight so they gave me 1,000 reward points. Would stay again if I'm ever in the area again.

    « Warm Welcome & Great Breakfast »

We arrived late into Billings - upon arrival the desk gal had warm smile with our room key all ready for us. Room was comfortable & clean - We enjoyed the breakfast - a little wait but well worth it. Friendly place - would stay again.

« Great Customer Service and Quiet Room »

We arrived to a busy lobby. The two people behind the counter were smiling and joking with the customers. Calls were coming in with questions from those staying and they never once lost their smiles. The room was right outside the pool and I was a bit hesitant but it was quiet! Comfortable, excellent customer service and clean. I would stay there again.

« Well maintained and staffed hotel »

The staff was very accommodating and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was at the adjacent restaurant and was delicious! I would recommend this hotel and will stay here again on my next visit to Billings.

    « Exceptional »

This was the best hotel deal we have had in a very long time. Breakfast excellent(we got a voucher from the hotel) Clean rooms. Cori checked us in and was exceptional giving friendly and expert help....she had only been working there for one month! Flowers galore surrounding the pool area and on balconies. Many nice thoughts put into the room. Motorcycle wash....we do not ride but very nice offer for riders. Would never consider staying in another hotel in this town!

    « Overnight Stop »

We stayed at the Clock Tower did just one night as a stop over on our way home. We found the front desk staff very friendly and helpful. As noted by others the layout of the property is a bit odd but overall nicely kept. Or room was newly renovated and nicely furnished. The outdoor pool is a bit on the small side but more than enough for a cooling off the dip for our two grandchildren. We were very pleased with the breakfast vouchers for the restaurant adjacent to the hotel as the food was delicious and there was plenty of it. We would definitely stay there again. Overall a pleasant experience.

    « Breakfast at Stella's next door »

Good location close to the airport, perhaps a 5-10 minute drive. Very nice and helpful staff. Within walking distance to nearby restaurants and brew pubs. There is a Starbucks a block away. Parking was included. Our room was nice and clean, on the second floor, dark curtains were good for sleeping, very comfortable beds. Door fob also works the elevator. Rather than offer breakfast, room included a choice of meals at Stella's, a local coffee shop next door. Stella's was very busy and they suggest allowing a half an hour to be seated but it took only about 5-10 minutes. It may be longer with a large party. Have someone go downstairs and put your name on the list to shorten wait time. Very large portions and you can purchase some of the largest cinnamon rolls I've ever seen. The large order of pancakes filled the entire plate and served with the equivalent of a stick of butter. Good homestyle food. Great for large appetites. Despite the crowd meals came out quickly. We enjoyed our stay here.

    « Great Experience »

The last night on the road driving from Anchorage to Denver. What a nice treat to unwind in by far the nicest Best Western I've stayed. Check in was painless, even though they were extremely busy. The location is outstanding, walking distances to a great downtown. Makes me want to return to Billings again.

    « Enjoyed this place »

Clean is our biggest concern. But this is a 3 star hotel, so very clean. Excellent free breakfast in their own restaurant. They give you a voucher and you get what you want. Nice open pool area in the enclosed courtyard. Very nice upscale room which I would expect for a 3 star.

« Average hotel with above average rating. »

Checking in was very slow but, understandable considering front desk guy was new. Room was nice but not great, noisy appliances. Parking was a nightmare! There were no available spots and the surrounding area is sketchy. There was a dirty homeless man rummaging through a dumpster less than 100 ft from our room late at night, I encountered him as I was making the sketchy trek from my off property parking spot to my room. The breakfast was outstanding and the best part of staying here. There are several area hotels that are better priced and just as good or better. It pains me to say that as I am very fond of the Best Western chain. This is an average hotel across the street from a homeless shelter in a not so desirable part of town.

« Great place to stay; great staff! »

Nice rooms, friendly staff. And includes a wonderful breakfast at Stella's. There are a lot of restaurants within walking distance. Several excellent breweries too, including Montana Brewery, Carters Brewing and Uberbrew. We'll stay here again.

« Nice hotel in the heart of Billings. »

Stayed for 2 days of our 2 week Montana vacation. The complimentary breakfast is actually next door at Stella's restaurant. GREAT food there. The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly. Would stay again.

    « convenient town stay »

this was the lesser priced bw in billings, mt. was convenient for travel and road transfer for us the following morning. the restaurant next door was open for breakfast, lunch; closing at 5:00 p.m. so we checked in and immediately went to eat before closing. roads in this town are one way which made this a bit more challenging.

« First Class Clock Tower »

On our last trip to Billings we stayed at the Best Western Clock Tower Inn. What a nice hotel. The outside kind of made me wonder if we made a good choice. But once we opened the door to our poolside room. I new we made a great choice. The room was super nice. It had two queen beds. A big flat screen T.V. It had granite counter tops. And a huge light up mirror. As well as a magnifying mirror. The tub was extra deep and it had a soaker shower as well as a regular shower. The floors had new carpeting and new tile in the bath area. The pool was outdoor but a very nice pool. The flowers and trees around the pool were amazing. It was a very nice area to swim and relax at. The breakfast at Stella's the restaurant on the property had an amazing complementary breakfast. It was busy and took a bit to get a table but it was worth the wait. If your in Billings be sure and stay at the Best Western Plus Clock Tower Inn.

« Great location & very spacious rooms »

Don't judge this property by it's quaint motel like appearance. The rooms are spacious, modern & updated, the bathroom is extra large with heated tile floor, there are plenty of electrical outlets for charging all electronics. There is a bike wash station available for those of us that are traveling by motorcycle. Very good wifi connection too. It's within walking distance of some great spots to eat. The included breakfast at Stella's, the adjacent restaurant, is outstanding!

    « Great rooms/Great location »

So many things that we love about this hotel... There were new people at the front desk this time. They were very friendly, very efficient, and gave us some advice about the restaurant that nobody has bothered to tell us before. The rooms are very clean and usually in great working order. We've had a problem twice, with a shower curtain bar that was starting to come out of the wall and once when our TV didn't work. Maintenance was quick to come by and fix both issues. We found this place when we were looking for somewhere within walking distance of the breweries and restaurants downtown. We stayed at a couple of the other hotels, just to check them out, but we always end up back at the Clocktower. As I said, before, the rooms are really clean. The restaurant (Stella's) is excellent! You have to arrive super early, or there's a long line. The tip that we received from the clerk at the front desk, is that you can order "to go", and get your order in a very short time. We'll definitely do this from now on.

« Best Option in Downtown Billings »

To avoid sounding phony I have to find something negative to say, so - - it would have been nice to have a hook on the back of the bathroom door for wet towels. That's the only "complaint" I can come up with.

    4
    « Nice property »

The rooms are better than the dated outside appearance of the hotel as you drive up to it. Great location if you need to be near downtown Billings. Lots a restaurants nearby - my favorite is Jakes. The rooms are updated and very clean - but small. The staff is very attentive and friendly.

    1
« better places to stay »

The rooms need to be updated. Carpet is the dirtiest I have ever seen. The a/c is energy efficient so does not run unless you are in the room. Checked in at 4 came back at 10 the temperature was at 76. Took hours to come to the temperature that we had set it at. Told from desk and they basically said too bad. Stayed here numerous times over the years will go elsewhere next time. Many new hotels in area that are cleaner and up to date.

    3
« An average Best Western »

This is an older property, and it is showing some signs of wear. Our room was one of the smallest of any hotel we have visited in recent years. Also, this was the first hotel we have stayed at with no microwave. The vehicles parked near the doors, and there was a loud motorcycle that was easily heard in our room.

    3
    « Loyal Sleeper »

This hotel has always been our favorite place to stay in Billlings, MT. It has received bad reviews for location but, is conveniently located in downtown, within walking distance to some of the best dining in town. It is clean and safe and the front desk and cleaning staff are always pleasant and efficient. That said, our most recent stay did not go off without a hitch. There was a mix up in our bill which took over a week and numerous phone time to resolve.. the biggest issue with this was that we were never contacted by the manager to let us know that he was looking into the situation or that it had been resolved. The room was to be paid for with BW Rewards Points, the first time we had done this and I still don't know what went wrong so that we don't have a repeat, because, Blake the manager never bothered to return numerous telephone inquiries. Bad form! Do not rely on express check-out, if it's offered (it was not) unless you have the time to make 5-6 phone calls and never get a call back...go to the front desk, where they are eager to help.

« Little old. Little noisy »

Had high expectations for this hotel, but it was quite noisy being located on a main street in downtown Billings. Traffic was noisy and soundproofing of walls and windows minimal. And this hotel is getting a bit worn around the edges. Need to do an overhaul to modernize.

    5
« Great location and excellent staff »

This hotel is in a very central location in Billings. When we checked in, the staff were extremely friendly. The girl told us about "Alive after Five", which was happening in Billings that evening, with live music outdoors. She was very informative about good places to eat, providing us with a map and explaining where we received discounts as hotel guests. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Billings

    5
    « Nice room! »

Excellent facilities with excellent service, the staff friendly and helpful. Great location. - within walking distance of many attractions. We really enjoyed the on site cafe. Quiet and comfortable rooms.

    « excellent stay! »

We choose this hotel for it's location. It is across the street from a popular night club. The staff at check in were very helpful even though very busy. Covered parking for BW members was greatly appreciated as it was very hot that weekend. The room was nicely decorated and the A/C was quiet and efficient. Staff was able to recommend a good pizza place that delivered. Breakfast is offered at a restaurant on site but we chose a different place. It was very busy there. Would definitely stay here again. Location is great for the downtown area of Billings too.

    4
« Great Location, Great Room »

Located in downtown Billings, within walking distance of many different restaurants to suit anyone's taste. The room was well kept, and very comfortable. Breakfast at Stella's was delicious. Will definitely stay there again when I pass that way again.

    « Clocktower Best Western »

The Clocktower Best Western in Billings Montana was outstanding. The breakfast was a full breakfast and was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had as a complimentary breakfast. I would recommend this motel highly.

    « EXACTLY what I needed! »

Close to downtown. Close to interchanges-easy outbound on any point of the compass. VERY comfortable bed (always key for me-last one this nice-Stanley Hotel!) Farmers Market downtown on Saturday was a plus, as it was my outbound day. Nicely remodeled and a value for the price! The pool was a little "meager", but AT THE price, a real value stay at this hotel. Breakfast included at excellent restaurant a plus. More than offset the pool, I might add.

    5
« Great location in downtown Billings »

If you want to stay in downtown Billings, the Clock Tower is a great choice. The staff is very accommodating, and the room we stayed in was recently renovated and attractive. It is within walking distance to many downtown attractions. Although we did not take our dog, it is a dog friendly hotel. The WiFi worked well. We will stay there on future trips.

    4
« Nice hotel and good value »

The hotel was very comfortable and the noise level very low, even for a room right by the pool. On the down side the pool is very small and the hotel is not in the best area of the city. I had a run in just off the property with someone looking for handouts, not a fault of the hotel of course but just a note that it is not in the best area. The breakfast at the restaurant next door was good but not as good as I had expected based upon other reviews. The parking is barely enough but I was fortunate enough to not have any issues

    5
    « Great place »

Located right downtown, reasonable price and very clean comfortable room, newer remodel. Attached to a great breakfast place. Walking to a bunch of cool restaurants and bars, not far from airport. Nice staff

« Good hotel but parking nightmare »

My wife and I stayed at the ClockTower Inn for one night as part of a road trip. The room was excellent and I like the fact you need to use your room key to gain access to the floor your room is on when you get into the elevator. The reception staff were excellent and able to offer advice on close at hand restaurants and the town itself. The only difficulty we had was parking which is really difficult. You can park at the hotel but space is limited and it is really hard to find a suitable bay to park up. Complimentary breakfast was served in Stella's Bakery which adjoins the hotel and was excellent. You get a choice of ordering off the menu or enjoying the complimentary continental style breakfast - we chose the complimentary and were really pleased with the quality of the food available. Despite the parking difficulties, which to be fair was probably worse than normal as the hotel seemed very busy if not full to capacity, we had an enjoyable one night stay.

    « Friendly 24 hour service. »

This is my second time staying at this hotel and I am alway struck by how friendly the staff is. I came in at midnight and left a couple of days later at 6AM in the morning and folks were friendly. I appreciate the airport shuttle from the hotel. Besides the cleanliness of my room, I liked that there is breakfast at Stella's restaurant and I had the choice to do take out. The breakfast was very filling and delicious. So from now on, this is my go to hotel when I am in Billings.

« The General Manager Stephen Wahrlich was AWESOME!! »

We were on our way to Sturgis and had reservations set but forgot to check about parking for large truck & trailer. Stephen asked if he could help out and got us a great spot to park at a neighboring business for free! They are down town Billings and had a blues festival going on so it was extremely busy and he was super accommodating, great sense of humour and all around great guy!! The rooms were updated, beds were AMAZINGLY comfortable and breakfast was included at Stella's bakery and it was delicious! Shout out to our waitress Nicole, she was fabulous too!!

« Poor service in general »

We called the 1-800 number from the road as we were only about 30 minutes from Billings and wanted to know if there was a room available prior to arriving. We got to reserve a room and said we'd be arriving at around 5 a.m.. The rep over the phone assured me there was a room and that we'd be able to check in at this odd hour. We had been driving overnight for our cross-country trip this summer. When we arrived, the attendant at the hotel could not find our reservation and was not keen on helping. Once again I called the general number to find that the last person had made our booking for the day before! And, I was told I would be paying for the reservation anyway, since it was too late to cancel it. I had to argue that I had made the reservation less than an hour before. Only after the rep spoke to her supervisor was that they were able to find us a room for the day we arrived and fixed the reservation, but we had to hang around to check in at the regular hour. Luckily, there was a change of employees later that morning and the new person tried her best to put us in a room by 11 am (because of her, this gets 3 little balls or else it would have been 2). The room was not great and not the cleanest I've seen, but we were tired and needed rest. The aircon was the most annoying. There was no way to control its airflow and it blew right on top of the bed, and it was noisy. We solved the problem by placing a big chair with cushions in front of it. Our little one was offered a folding bed, since this room was smaller than the original requested, but the mattress was way too soft and had that groove in the middle. The carpet was visibly dirty. For those who want a good movie at night, the TV only had the cheapest channels available. I thought Best Western would have high standards for cleanliness and service, but obviously this is not the case. Our experience at the Hampton Inn was by far what one should expect for the same price: spotless service.

    « Outstanding breakfast included »

Stayed at the Clocktower Inn for 6 days and every day were provided a free, full breakfast at the attached restaurant. Excellent value!! Wonderful location of room next to the pool provided great opportunity to relax in lovely surroundings. Very friendly and helpful staff.Great downtown location with easy walking to many restaurants.

« Great updated King rooms »

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times. Beats other downtown hotels on price, very comfortable. Comes with free breakfast from next door cafe. The recently updated King rooms are great, well-lit and functional for business travel.

    « Pretty decent hotel »

This hotel is super clean! One of the cleanest bathrooms I have actually seen. The layout is nice and I truly appreciate the on site eatery. The hotel gives you a card for each day of stay to be used as a coupon for breakfast. Wonderful!!!! There are snack machines and soda machines. The gym is pretty small..one elliptical and two treadmills and some weights but suffices. The pool is cute and has frequent guests :) Very modern looking and def. Recommended. I stayed here while doing a site visit in billings, crow agency and lame deer.

« Clean, great value, excellent staff »

This hotel is located very close to St Vincent Hospital with a two minute drive. We were pleased that they also allowed pets and that the staff was awesome. I would highly recommend this Hotel whether your visiting, business or are in need of a place close to the hospital.

« Comfiest bed Ive eve slept in!! »

Another stop on our cross country adventure! Check in was very quick. Our room was on the second floor. There are stairs and an elevator. Room was very clean and very modern. The bed was the comfiest bed I've ever slept in. I loved it. Internet was fast. They had a rainfall shower head which was a nice surprise and a heat lamp in your bathroom if you were cold getting out of the shower! My only complaint with this Hotel is it's location. It's right on the main road which is convent but sucky at the same time. You could hear traffic going by alllll night. A group of motorcyclist went by on "hogs" and it was ear piercing. While I am a motorcycle driver myself, I have no issue with bikes it was the noise. I would think if they were that close to the road it should be more sound proof. The hotel provided you with a coupon for the amount of people staying in your room for breakfast at Stella's right across the parking lot. Lets just say it was delicious. Take the time and go over. They are very busy but well worth the wait. Overall this s a great hotel with lots of perks. Im not sure I would stay here again due to the constant noise from the traffic but that is me!

    5
    « Great Location »

Everything was great. The breakfast was very outstanding. Check in a little slow but they were very busy. It is downtown and the parking is not good. Everything else was great. This would be a great place to stay if you are a person who likes a lot of night life. The pool was so beautiful and clean. Had a really nice stay.

    4
    « Nice Stay »

The room was clean but it had a stain on the carpet, so I only give it an 'ok" for cleanliness. The beds were very comfy, the bathroom, bright and immaculate, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. You get a breakfast form the restaurant next door that is delisous. We sat outside on the chairs in the evening which was nice.

« Great location but Tiny room »

Location is great for walking downtown. A full breakfast is included at the adjoining restaurant. However, the room was the smallest we encountered on our 7 day trip traveling through Montana. For the same price our other rooms were much more spacious and comfortable.

    5
    « Outstanding Staff & Location »

I rarely take the time to write a review however I felt compelled to because the staff was outstanding! They went beyond the call of duty to help in anyway I requested. There was much harmony between the staff which made our stay that much more enjoyable along with clean room, breakfast second to none, and fabulous location within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Well done!

    5
    « Vacation »

This Hotel was very close to everything downtown. With in walking distance to anything you plan to do in town. The room was very nice. The breakfast at the bakery on the property was wonderful. The parking was my only complaint.

« Very nice staff and a special greeting: bottle of water and microfiber rag.... »

We were on motorcycles not too much before Sturgis BIke Week so I'm guessing that's why we were greeted with the water and the rag. How nice of them! Hotel is right in town, very nice area, nice rooms, nice staff and great breakfast in their yummy restaurant. OH and a beautiful outdoor pool and very pretty flower boxes all over the place. My only complaint would be that they only have one washer/dryer for all those rooms!

    5
    « Would Absolutely Recommend »

Pros: Huge and clean room, comfortable bed, awesomely new and pristine bathroom, great location. Cons: No microwave in the room and the mini-fridge didn't work (these weren't deal breakers for us since there's a microwave behind the front desk for guests to use).

    5
« Gateway to the WestS »

« Made Us Feel at Home »

We stayed here on a two-week bus tour. We were made to feel like family. Staff was helpful and accommodating. It was the 4th of July weekend and the staff made up for the services that were unavailable for that reason in Billings. Our double room had good queen beds, shower, dressing area separate from the bathroom, with a second sink, an extra large TV, large desk with swivel chair and a lap desk. There was a large pool area that had tables with umbrellas. There is a full-sized washer and dryer, exercise room and restaurant on the property. We were given a map with 26 restaurants indicated, within a three-block radius, that offers guests of the hotel a 10% discount. We used that. We really enjoyed our stay!

    « Downtown Billings Stay »

    « Surprised »

Great accommodation, just a little surprised to find it was more Motel style then Hotel style. Breakfast was sort of included, a coupon for breakfast across from the hotel, which was great, plenty of choices to choose from.

We stay at the Clock Tower Best Western Every year when passing through Montana. We always enjoy our stay. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The room is always clean and neat. The floor near the bathroom was kind of squeaky, I hope we did not annoy the guests below us.

« Awsome place for Bikers to stay »

I have stayed at many hotels on bike trips in the past but this hotel goes above and beyond. They have designated covered bike parking, a bike wash station on the property free of charge and they give out a bike rag is given upon check free of charge as well. The rooms are large, clean and modern. The pool is a warm outdoor pool in an outdoor courtyard. Great place to hang out with the rest of the bikers. I highly recommend staying here if you are in Billings. After check out, make sure you take advantage of the free breakfast, it was great and you won't leave hungry.

« My stay at Best Western »

The staff was very friendly and professional, rooms were clean and breakfast was excellent and the Fitness room and pool were good. The location was in the poor part of town and the parking was very cramped. But overall, I would recommend this hotel.

    « Very accomodating »

I had a flight that came in before check in and they allowed me to check in early. They also provided a shuttle to the airport. They went above and beyond with hospitality and it was greatly appreciated.

    « Great property! »

I was on a motorcycle trip back from Vermont when I stayed at the Clocktower Inn and am happy to report that it was one of the best properties that I stayed at during the trip. Comfortable, quiet and elegant. Such a nice place!

    5
    « Great Staff »

The thing that makes this place is the staff. Our flight was delayed, our luggage was lost by the airline, but the staff bent over backwards to see that we had what we needed and to help with drives up the mountain while the airline found our bags one by one over the space of two days. Breakfast or lunch at Stellas cannot be beat. Rooms are typical Best Western Standard, which is to say that in this cost bracket they are very good. Nothing to fault with our stay and we stay here often. Great Location. Highly recommended.

    4
« Great Location, Wonderful Breakfast, Average Hotel »

Okay, a Best Western is a Best Western. The strengths of this one: the excellent location and the fun breakfast place right next door. I would stay there for the breakfast at Stella's, really. The room was big, but a little faded from a decor standpoint. It may have been our room, but we could hear everything going on around us. The parking is difficult because of small, covered spaces, but that is only a problem for full size pickup trucks and up. Smaller cars would be fine. And the price point seemed a little steep.

    4
« More than excellent, attention to breakfast. »

Excellent location, helpful staff and very kind. Quiet rooms and all facilities. The parking lots are so many, but unfortunately were insufficient, likely problem in high season. Strongly recommended. The bad thing,is the breakfast, which should give it in the Stella`s House adjacent. So far no problem, but this place is extremely crowded. Find free place may be difficult. Possible long waits. Obviously everything with a lot of noise.

    5
« Great place to make your home away from home in Billings! »

We really like the Clocktower Inn. The location is excellent. And the beds are really great. We have a king bed that is at least as good as our bed at home. The new rooms (we're poolside) are very nicely appointed and even have heated bathroom floors. The location is excellent and breakfast at Stella's is awesome. Definitely the best value in any hotel in town.

    4
« Much better than expected »

Very nice rooms, stayed in pool side king. I liked it better than the crown plaza. The free breakfast at Stella's cant be beat. Walking distance to Montana Ave night life and food. Will always check availability at the Clocktower when in Billings for now on.

    « Good/Bad »

CONS: Quality control is lacking - rooms were not prepared when arrived. There is a little to no security on the grounds. PROS: Staff are welcoming and professional. You are given a voucher for breakfast at a nearby restaurant - it is fantastic.

« Nice Big Modern Rooms! »

The rooms are very nice. Pleasantly surprised at the huge bathrooms. Beds were very comfortable and lady at front desk went above and beyond! Beautiful front desk area. Pool area was nice and clean! Definitely recommend and will stay here again!

    « Nice stay »

It has very nice and comfortable room and a very nice pool for the kids and adults to relax and enjoy the outdoors in,the only reason it gets 4 stars is the parking spaces are too small if you have any larger vehicle although most spaces are in a parking garage

    « T »

Good value for the money. Had to go out in parking lot and hook up to wifi to secure room at rate quoted online. Online booking format needs work. Couldn't edit inputs on tablet. Would not let me change number of people in room, thus needed to go inside and she finally gave me the online rate.

    « Good Place »

Great place. Great restaurants all within walking distance. Friendly staff, make sure you see Molly - what a cute dog. Finally, ask for a room up by the pool deck more $ but really nice. Property staff is well trained and seems to care about a guest's stay.

Friendly, easy, room nice, clean, had more than we needed, pool, restaurant superb. Every one helpful. Saw we were looking around, showed us to our room. Pick up at airport when we returned car and shuttle to airport next morning excellent too. Can't say enough.

What a pleasant stay!!! The rooms were clean, nicely furnished, and the bed was very very comfortable. I especially appreciate the use of a fitted sheet as I hate the tangled mess of a flat sheet on top of a mattress. Full TV and internet service with a variety of channels to choose from including premium channels. The shower is walk-in with a dual shower heads and rain head feature. The restaurant next door, Stella's, is terrific, local, friendly, and the food is delicious. Staff was helpful and friendly at both the restaurant and hotel. I highly recommend this gem in Billings!!!

    « My Fav »

I always try to stay here when I'm in Billings. It's locally owned and not such a cookie cutter hotel like the big ones. You can tell it was built to optimize space so it has an interesting layout. Makes you feel like you are downtown. I love the rain showers, patio, pool, and fitness center. Plus, BREAKFAST DOESN"T GET ANY BETTER THAN STELLA'S. And they deliver. It's not perfect or cold (sterile) and I love it.

Jim who setup and picked me up from airport with the Hotel shuttle service, also drove me to the Metro Center. He was great!, He gave me a quick run through downtown Billings and suggested places to dine at. Also the room staff were super pleasant and the ladies at the front desk. A very enjoyable visit! Great staff!

    « Dreary and rude... »

This place is pretty dreary. Rooms are dark and don't feel very clean... though they did at least update the showers to have some amenities like a rain shower, but it doesn't work great... the handle fell off in my hand when I tried to turn it on. We only stayed here because our friends got married nearby and this is where their hotel block was. The vending machines weren't all stocked with water, the pool rarely had towels until you asked, the people, aside from the front desk, were not pleasant and rarely smiled and definitely weren't happy if you asked them for anything. The cleaning staff was rude.

    « very nice »

Very pleased with this motel, best we stayed at during a longer trip. Exceeded our normal expectations. Pool area with courtyard appeared very pleasant though we never used it. We chose it for the pool.

« relax by the rimrocks »

This is a great stay. Clean and comfortable rooms with adequate space, fluffy white towels and gorgeous sheets. The on site breakfast/lunch restaurant is amazing. Friendly staff, easy access to all rooms and all of the city and nearby sights. A pool - small but lovely to sit by and relax. And they really do love dogs!

« Front desk gals made this stop memorable »

A weird little hotel in downtown Billings. The layout is the strangest I have ever encountered. The front desk gals were very charming and fun when I came to check in after hours on the road. I was dog tired and their cheerfulness made my day. Their was no cold scrambled eggs continental breakfast offered, but instead they gave us coupons for a free breakfast at a top notch restaurant next door to the hotel. Do not miss that opportunity. The breakfast was very good and the dessert pastries were excellent.

    5
    « Terrific Accessible Room »

Extremely spacious King room with excellent ceiling lighting - for a change! Probably the most comfortable accessible room we have encountered with one exception - the space on the right side of the bed was very tight for the wheelchair and the end table was not moveable. Breakfast was delicious and hotel was a short walk to many restaurants.

    5
    « Older but Nice »

This is truly an older property but nice. Rooms are comfortable and the front desk ladies were most helpful and efficient, especially Lindsey I think it was. Two story but no elevator. Short drive to nice restaurants. In the older part of town.

    3
« Nice hotel, Great location. »

This place is our #1 choice for value and location in Billings Mt. It is not a fancy place but it is comfortable, very nicely kept and the pool is newly updated. There is a pool level that is completely surrounded by rooms and is a great spot to just hang. I come to billings often and I stay here whenever possible.

    4
    « Better than most »

Tiny, neat and clean. Right on a main street, so the outside traffic and car noise can be a bit loud if you get a room up front. Nice parking garage in case of hail. Close to Grocery, Civic Center, Coffee, Eateries.

    3
    « Downtown »

This does not look like a plus on the outside. Downtown and very motel feel. Front clerks friendly. Room was clean. Glad we were not near pet area as the fake grass stunk from urine. Free breakfast at attached restaurant is sit down service, with limited menu. Still it was good, just took a bit longer than grab n go method.

« Best of Best Western »

totally great staff n best breakfast of most Best Western Plus's very well priced n hard to beat the staff from the courtesy clerk/driver all the way to the owner and yes u read right the "owner" , as we had checked in and were getting out of our car to go to our room a person dressed in hotel colored attire asked" if he could help us in any way shape or form n he said" I'll carry/get 2/3 of those bags for U " n I replied thx but I can get it, I didn't know he was the owner till I went to check out, very friendly and great service and amenities just no micro's in room do to Fire hazard but I understand why

    « Good Downtown Choice »

Arrived late afternoon without a reservation (the hotel we had booked did not have our reservation). Reservation and other hotel staff are friendly and efficient. Selected a king bed on the pool level. Nicely appointed renovated room. Lots of seating, writing desk, large TV, free in room Wi-Fi. air conditioning (it is noisy), lots of plugs-ins for recharging toys. The shower and towels are good quality with nice lighting in the tub/shower. The sink lighting could be brighter. The king bed was perfect firmness. The stay came with a hot breakfast (7 fixed choices to cover any diet at Stella's restaurant on the hotel property - excellent large breakfast. Parking (most covered) is free. Great downtown location and we would stay here again.

    5
« Great Choice, Excellent Hotel »

We drove into Billings late and luckily Check In was very easy because we were very tired. The room and shower were amazing. We had to leave before breakfast in the morning, but when we checked out the Front Desk had hot coffee and pastries for us to take with us. This was truly a great stay!

    5
« Very clean and affordable hotel in downtown Billings »

I arrived late due to a flight delay. I stayed here one night before driving to Yellowstone park. The room was very clean and the staff was friendly. Parking is free. The rate was very good. You are given a coupon for some breakfast choices at the next door restaurant "Stella's Kitchen and bakery". The restaurant was excellent and is recommended whether or not you have a coupon.

    4
« Comfortable Room, GREAT Breakfast! »

The room was comfortable (and quiet), The parking was a bit strange but workable. The real "star" of this place was an attached restaurant "Stellas Kitchen" - WONDERFUL food. Easily the best breakfast of any "free breakfast" in any Best Western property.

    4
    « Very nice. »

Stayed here for two nights. This place was recently remodeled and is very nice. I would definitely come back here if they weren't so booked up. They provide breakfast via free coupons to a neighboring restaurant called Stellas. Very good food. The first day we were there, Memorial Day, Stellas was closed. So the motel hired two of Stellas cooks to come in early and cook up a buffet for the guests and provided that free to the motel guests. Very nice and very good food. Don't miss Stellas.

    5
« Just what we needed »

We stayed here overnight on our drive across the USA. The room was smaller than most, and the fan on the air conditioner was a bit too loud (common in hotel rooms), but there was everything we needed. Parking was close to our room, and there is an elevator. Dickie's BBQ is about one block away, and is a great spot for dinner.

    5
    « Excellent value »

The staff were all friendly, the location was close to the airport, and the room was comfortable. I could tell the hotel was recently upgraded. The lap desks for your computer was a nice little extra. The best part was the complimentary breakfast at Stella's next door, a legitimate breakfast restaurant. Such a nice change from the regular fare offered at hotels nowadays.

« Best Best Western Hotel EVER!! »

On 5/23/16 we stayed at the Clocktower and were very impressed. From the Spring Shower Head, heated bathroom floor and mobile magnifying mirror, we were amazed that this was a Best Western hotel! Because they do not have a "breakfast bar" they have contracted with a neighboring restaurant (Stella's) to provide breakfast for guests. Upon arrival you receive a sheet of paper which lists 5 possibly breakfast menus to chose from. The food is delicious--you just tip the server. Our fee including tx and fees and 10% off for AARP or Rewards member was $123.61. We thought this was a very fair price...

    4
« Very nice place to stay »

They were all ready for us at check-in and we were on our way to our room in moments with Wi-Fi into and numerous restaurant choices in hand. Fastest friendliest check-in ever. Very clean and comfortable place. Breakfast next door was the best in years.

    5
« Wonderful location, room, staff! »

Stayed here on the way to visit friends. The room was very clean, comfortable and affordable. I was very impressed with the water pressure in the shower. Great free breakfast at the restaurant close by. Very impressed and will recommend this place to friends.

« Best Western Inn, Billings, TOP NOTCH »

Great service and great restaurant. NOT a skimpy "continental" breakfast but a full meal, comped by the hotel. VERY pet-friendly. Don't even think about using another downtown hotel in Billings, MT. We always use Best Western and this time it was well worthwhile.

    5
    « Great Location! »

We stayed here on our way back from Yellowstone. Love that we could walk everywhere downtown! Easy parking. Friendly staff! Loved the workout room! The free breakfast vouchers are for next door and that place was AMAZING!!!!!!! Hotel was super quiet, clean. Wanted to stay in the comfy king bed all day!

« Should be your first choice »

The Best Western Plus Clocktower Inn in Billings should be your first choice for a hotel in Billings. It is located in Downtown Billings, within easy walking distance to great restaurant and shopping. Easy access to the airport and interstate. They have newly remodeled rooms, pool area, lobby that will make your stay very pleasing. The On-site covered parking is an additional great feature as it saved our vehicle any damage during a recent storm. The on-site restaurant serves the best breakfast and lunch in Billings, but go early as there is always a wait that is well worth it. We travel and stay at many hotels and the Clocktower is one of our favorites, you won't be disappointed.

    5
« The plus is really plus »

I enjoyed staying at the Best Western Plus. It is the first PLUS that I have stayed at. The breakfast is fantastic. Not your normal self serve restaurant. They actually had menu items. I will definitely stay at the BW Plus again.

    5
    « Billings Best Breakfast »

Stella's breakfast is worth staying there. Conveniently located around many resturanuts in their downtown location. I would defiantly stay there again. Also they are pet friendly and have a secured hallway with rooms.

    3
    « okay for a night »

Hotel was in a great location for our travels, but room very small, shower strange to use with toilet and shower all in one area, ended up with water all over, difficult for secure footing. Unusual to have to go to a restrurant for breakfast, but it was very good. Was concerned that if we didn't set alarm and get up to be there before &:30 we would be waiting for up to an hour.

    4
    « Very Nice Choice! »

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was very clean & the staff was helpful. We chose it because we found that staying just outside of a major metro area (in this case Billings, MT) was less expensive than staying in a larger city. We were pleased with our room and the free breakfast was on par with other hotels where we stayed. We would not hesitate staying here again when we are traveling out west.

    5
« Convenient location and parking »

We have a fairly tall truck that will not fit in the parking garages. We like the location of this hotel and restaurant and the open parking area, as well as friendly staff and clean rooms. Thank you.

Booked this hotel through TripAdvisor as we travelled through Montana. Overall nice older hotel in downtown setting. Great breakfast voucher at adjacent Bakery/restaurant! Easy walk to centrally located restaurants. Very satisfied.

    « Correct not more »

While driving in westernb state and no idea where to sleep, BW are generally a good option. In Billings this one is correct...Not in the best BW , but not in the worst.. Clean, but no charm, breakfast average. Convenient because in downtown and not too noisy.

    3
    « Clean /Mid range cost »

No grass area for pet friendly hotel-have to cross street and 1/2-1 block away every time you take your pet out. Clean room. Wifi free. Price was more than it should be for the facility-pool closed, laundry facility out of service, restaurant food was terrible and expensive.

    5
« My first choice in billings »

I travel to Billings often from Wyoming. I love the location of this hotel, plenty of bars and restaurants near by to attend. Great rooms too. The diner has great food and it is right next door. the hotel offers great discounts as well. but above all my favorite thing about this hotel besides the staff is the location location location. Downtown billings, so plenty of entertainment!

    2
    « Smoke Room »

There was a lingering smell of smoke in my room which is just disgusting. the motel is also in the heart of the city so lots of street noise and your room opens direct to car park so you hear everyone's conversations in the carpark. slept badly.

    5
    « Outstanding Hotel »

Great service, had an excellent room, and free breakfast is best we have ever had in a hotel. Outstanding stay. We will use this hotel again when in this city. The location to downtown Billings was excellent and near theater, shopping, and other needs and wants.

    5
« Nicest BW room I've stayed in »

This is my favorite Best Western. I loved the dry sauna. The room was freshly remodeled one of the best I've stayed in. Love the two shower heads and the tile floors. They had free weights in the exercise room. The breakfast was complementary at Stellas Kitchen and Bakery in the parking lot. Everything is made fresh on site. I tried 3 out of the 6 complementary choices. It was perfect. I can see why it is rated one of the best in Billings.

    5
« Clocl Towner Inn Billings »

The property is centrally located downtown. The property is clean even with construction going on in the lobby. The staff are friendly and helpful. The staff are very willing to let you know about the amenities offered, where restaurants are located. My room was clean, the bed very comfortable and quite. I would highly recommend the property especially with Stella's restaurant right next door. Great food and serevice.

    5
« Hotel in walking distance of Brewery District »

We had read about Billings having "the only walkable brewery district in Montana" and stayed at this hotel because it was in the middle of the brewery district. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and we didn't hear the downtown traffic or noise at all.

    4
« Overnight stay in Billings »

Stayed here overnight to catch a connecting flight the next day. Hotel is nice and comfortable, staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a free airport shuttle, which worked out well for me. There is a breakfast at Stella's next door included, but they were closed for Easter, when I stayed so did not get to try that. Staff put a continental breakfast in the lobby which worked out well.

    5
    « Pleasant Surprise »

We stayed at The Bestwestern Clocktower while catching an early morning flight out of Billings. I wasn't sure what to expect, as my prior experiences with Best Western hotels were that they could be a little run down, but after reading the reviews, decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean and updated and the ground were well-maintained. We were warmly greeted by Coffi at the Front Desk who readily answered our questions and gave local area information. We were leaving too early for the complimentary breakfast, but they offered us a breakfast to-go bag at checkout. The stay was a good value for what we received.

    « Where it is »

Situated in the heart of downtown this motel has all you could want. Park your car and enjoy life. Your room key gets you 10% off at a number of establishments in the immediate area so you are not limited in cuisine, style, etc. Breakfast is at the adjacent bakery/diner where you may have to wait to be seated. There is a choice of 7 complimentary breakfasts or you can use the 10% off option of the rest of the menu. I was surprised that the obscure drapes did not cover the whole window but there is excellent lighting and a fold-out make-up mirror by the wash hand basin.

    4
« Convenient to downtown shopping and restaurants »

Best Western is always our hotel of choice, however, I have not figured out why this one is considered a "plus". This time we were at least put in a newly remodeled room. Last time we stayed here it was under construction and the room was nothing special. We asked for an upgrad3 but I think all we got was a regular room. Maybe their upgrade is a remodeled room.??? I feel that the remodel could have at least included a table in case you wanted to have a snack or a drink. The chairs were very uncomfortable. Lighting and beds and heating were excellent. Tub was clogged. No wastebasket in bathroom. The coffee pot was not good. One of those one cup things that I don't like. However the lady at the desk did give us an extra couple of coffee packs so we could have 2 cups in the morning. Breakfast next door at Stella's was excellent. This is something new. Didn't use to get a free breakfast at Stella's. Overall I would rate it a 8 or 9. Much better than last stay.

    3
    « closet size bathroom »

Bathroom was so small you had to sit to one side to get the door closed to reach the toilet paper. Also maid left door open when she was done cleaning and remained open until evening when I returned. Noise level was high due to room being close to the street. Also parking spots were very tight

    4
    « Great Stay - Great Location! »

This downtown property is a great hotel with very friendly staff. The parking can certainly be a challenge but the street parking is fine on the weekends. The remodeling and upgrades are looking great! Thanks for a great stay!

    5
    « Best Stay! »

This was an excellent stay and experience. Nice staff and hotel is close to everything downtown! The on-site restaurant is top notch for breakfast! Awesome non-buffet food!! One of the best business stays I've had. Good food to start the day, close to everything for business needs and the best restaurants for dinner.

    3
    « A Nice Little Hotel »

It's a good hotel and the staff is usually pretty good at what they do. I had the unfortunate experience of being in the room with rowdy guest with their dogs directly above me that kept me up way after midnight.

    4
    « Good night »

While the hotel was a little hard to find and the parking left something to be desired, the room was nice and the bed comfortable. The $20 pet fee was a bit of a surprise though. The doggy 'business' area is a unique feature.

    5
« Love the Clocktower Inn! »

The staff at the Clocktower Inn were super helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and it's in a great location in downtown Billings. I would recommend staying here to anyone traveling to big sky country!

    5
    « Great hotel »

Very spacious rooms with heated bathroom floors. Friendly, helpful staff. The free breakfast at Stella's Restaurant next door was excellent and far above average compared to a usual hotel hot breakfast. The hotel also gave us a 10% off voucher to use at nearby restaurants and businesses. That was great - we used it at Jake's for dinner (very good food) and at Starbucks which is right around the corner, a quick 2 minute walk. We ended up not using it, but the hotel also has a shuttle service to anywhere in town you want to go. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The only down sides were the lumpy, uncomfortable pillows and the adjoining door with the people next door that we did not know. We could hear their every word as if we were in the same room. Very annoying. They did seem to talk extra loud and were bickering very early in the morning.

    5
    « Right Downtown!! »

We were looking for an affordable place downtown, near some good restaurants, and there was the ClockTower (much cheaper than the local competition). While parts are under construction and it's a little older, the room was comfortable and the staff was excellent.

  • 5
    « Great location!! »

This was not my first visit to the Clocktower, and it won't be my last!! The staff is always so friendly!!! On top of clean, comfortable rooms (the dual showerhead and heated floors help), you get a discount at a lot of the surrounding restaurants!!! Plus vouchers for free Stella's breakfast!!! My three year old nephew didn't want to leave!! The Clocktower Inn is now my go to hotel destination in Billings!!

    3
    « Not Impressed! »

Not impressed this trip with the Clock Tower Inn! We arrived 30 minutes early for check in because we had places to be and were not able to check in because of a system update. We were told 15 minutes, so we went to eat at Stella's (which was very very good--definitely impressed). Came back and still was not able to check in for another 30 minutes. I understand that check in is 3:00, however I don't think that I have ever not been able to check in a few minutes early...it's called customer service. After checking in our room we were not impressed. We had a room on the bottom floor that was INCREDIBLY small, the curtains would not shut and there was a light shining in our room that was really bright all night long. You could not even get undressed without being in the TINY bathroom. It was not a pleasant experience, will eat at Stella's next time but will not be staying here.

    4
« Great Location and Nice Breakfast »

Great downtown location, lots of evening activities within walking distance. Breakfast at Stella's is very good but go early on weekends or you will have to wait for a table. The rooms are older but clean and beds are comfortable. We had an issue with our TV on the first night and the Staff worked to correct the problem as quickly as they could.

    4
    « Super Friendly Staff »

The front desk team- Rebecca and Jordan- was amazing and so was our parking lot security agent! They have it dialed in for excellent customer service! Rebecca went out of her way to make us feel welcome, gave us maps and took her time to assist us with all of our questions! Super stars!

    « Great Stay »

This motel is one of the best we have ever stayed at. From the top to bottom clean and we'll cared for. Staff courteous and friendly, willING to help in anyway. Breakfast at Stella's amazing. Can't go wrong staying here when in Billings.

    « Loved the Location! »

Very friendly staff - made my reservation direct over the phone, Front Desk Clerk was friendly and thorough. Checked in with Kaylee (?) she was super-friendly - even offered to dogsit while we went to dinner. The dogs (2) loved "Molly's Patch" and we enjoyed sitting outside there ourselves. The room was a bit small with leftover coffee in the coffee maker - a common "miss" for housekeepers - breakfast was very good over at Stella's - very good and friendly service!! Even bought some pastries to take home!! Thank you,

    5
    « Great location-best Free breakfast ever »

So many nice dinner locations within walking range! Best free breakfast ever, guests receive a 10 item choice menu from one of Billings favorite breakfast restaurants! Good value in the center of Billings. Parking can be a little tight, but it works out.

« Clean and Great Price »

We were very happy with the Best Western Clock Tower Inn. It was a great price for the location, the cleanliness of the room and the breakfast. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. It was nice to walk to downtown restaurants. The breakfast included was served at Stella's Kitchen and Bakery and it was delicious. I'd stay here again!

When making a reservation, I booked a room for three nights on the wrong week. I will definitely book with them again!

I would have given this property a 4 stars but the house keeping staff left food in the fridge (Olive Garden) and hadnt wiped down the desk. Straight shot from airport to hotel Rooms are as described updated and otherwise clean. They have ample parking for large and small vehicles. Huge led tvs in each room New beds - a bit soft for my comfort Starbucks is a block away Downside the breakfast is not self serve its in the adjacent resturant and they offer a limited prefix for hotel guest. Dont loose the paper they give you or you are SOL. Norma is awesome

    « Great Billings Hotel »

If you're staying in Billings, especially in the downtown area, this is by far the best hotel. It's surrounded by Billings' two most famous hotels, and they are much more expensive, but even if I didn't know the price, I'd rather stay at Clocktower. It's just a touch above what you'd expect from this price range. Great, friendly staff too.

« Great place to stay »

We love this place. It is close to my doctors/hospital, the breakfast is AWESOME and the rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable and the staff will go out of there way to help you in anyway they can. The only thing bad about this place it the parking.

    « Best Value! »

This property was renovated with the greatest of care for the visitor. The location is close to shopping and in the historic district of Billings. Staff is very helpful and courteous. You won't be sorry you stayed here. Breakfast was outstanding and I will certainly be returning.

« Nice one night stay »

I slept here my first night in Montana as the hotel was pretty close to the airport and I'd landed in Billings around 11 pm. It's very easy to get there, whenever you land all you have to do is call the reception and they'll send their shuttle to pick you up. Both the receptionists I met were very nice and helpful, no complaints about the service. The room was clean and comfortable, but it was located outside the main building, on ground floor, so you had to walk a little bit to reach it. Unfortunately the shuttle driver was also the bellhop, so I've had to carry the luggages by myself (which is usually not a problem, but after a 22-hour trip I was literally dragging my feet). For breakfast they give you a voucher to use in the front restaurant named Stella's where I had a wonderful brunch. I definitely suggest this place if you need to stay near the airport.

    « Great Hotel Downtown »

All around clean, solid internet, hot shower, great staff and close to great food. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. They run a tight ship. I travel a lot, and this is by far the most well run hotel I have seen. You can tell the owner is on top of things.

    « Very Clean »

Thanks to fellow traveler reviews we took a chance on this motel style accommodation and am very happy we did. While the outside has an older appearance, the room interiors are up to date, and ours was super clean. Parking was right outside our door. Nice sized 'mini' fridge and TV in room. Bed was super comfy. We both slept great! Door to seperate toilet /shower and sink area which worked well for us. Breakfast - ummmmm WOW! Short walk to Stella's Kitchen for a full breakfast. Pay attention to the paper you get when you check in becuse it shows you the Kitchen's busy time. We were given a table within 10 min and had HUGE servings in front of us in less than 30 min. p.s. try the bacon! If management sees this please commend your housekeeping staff and show them appreciation because they certainly deserve it.

We really liked the homey feel of this place. Everything was clean and up to date. And it was quiet despite being in the middle of the bustle of Billings downtown. Guests get to eat free at Stella's next door. We loved Stella's so much we ate almost every meal there. I have never met more friendly, welcoming staff, where do they find these people?

« Great Service, VERY Dog friendly »

I arrived on New Years Eve without a reservation and we were greeted by a very sweet gal at the front desk. Without even seeing our dog she offered to "babysit" her while my wife I and I went out for dinner. We took her up on the offer and everyone was happy. By the way, our dog is an Alaskan Malamute who is certainly a crowd pleaser! Nice place to stay, great service all around.

« Excellent room and Staff »

The staff from check in to cleaning to checkout was excellent. Through out our stay they were prompt in service and very upbeat and polite. The room was clean and very spacious. The breakfast at the restaurant was excellent. There was a lot of convenient parking. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

« Nice rooms, RUDE Staff Load facility »

I stayed here night before flying out. I had to be up by 3am and to the airport early on Christmas eve. Got less than 2 hours sleep due to the noise. The shuttle person was so kind. I booked a night stay here when returning as well. I got an email for survey and filled it out. I commented on the noise and the owner emailed me and said he upgraded us to a quitter portion of the facility on our return stay. When we returned we called hotel for shuttle from the airport. I was put on hold for 2 minutes. The lady came back on and wanted to take a number and call me back. I asked if we could just get the shuttle. We checked in with no problem. It was New Year's Eve and we just wanted to grab dinner and got to our room and rest as we traveled all day. 30 minutes after we got in our room loud music below began playing so loud it was vibrating our floor. It continued and I called the front desk to complain. It was around 8:30pm. The desk clerk was so rude. She told me that a New Year's Eve party had been booked in the conference room below us and the music would not stop until after midnight. I never raised my voice, but was very displeased. I asked her if there was a quieter room available or if we could get a refund. She said we would not get a refund but could check out. I began telling her how we were upgraded to a quiet room per a survey I took and she said "I don't like your tone and how dare you talk poorly about my staff." I apologized to her if I was speaking in a rude tone and began explaining that it was her boss who upgraded us. She said "you already have 20% off your room!" I began to tell her that the floor of the room was literally vibrating, but she hung up on me before we could actually finish or resolve the issue. We packed got our stuff, left and drove 175 miles to our home. I will never stay here again and will tell everyone I know never to stay here either. Too many other places in Billings to stay with better treatment. The rooms are very nice, but if you like loud, party type hotels, by all means stay here.

« A warm welcome on a cold winter trip at Best Western Clock Tower Inn »

Friendly staff, comfy room, convenient parking and close to local restaurants this Best Western was both people and pet friendly. Parking was covered but the drive, walkways and pet area were cleared of snow on our arrival and in the morning. Easy checkin and out. Breakfast was an especially delightful surprise...we almost stayed another day...we'll be back!

    « exceptional »

I cannot imagine anyone finding fault with this facility. Value, service and the facility itself stand far above the normal. This was my second stay here and everything was consistent with both visits. Kudos to the owners and staff, a job well done.

« Rude Check In Staff »

A rude check in woman who really could have cared less. There was a problem with check in and the woman was less then helpful and only helped when I pushed back. She gave me an 800 number to call and wasn't going to check me in until I called the number. She finally checked me in but didn't give me the price quoted on line.

« Excellent rooms, excellent staff, excellent location, meh ammenities »

I'm staying in a King Bedroom. The bed is really comfortable, I prefer firmer beds and this one was a little soft for me but I slept very well. The covers and the sheets felt really nice and the pillows were decent, a little too small but I'm not complaining. The bathroom has heated floor tiles and there is a walk-in shower with a ceiling mounted over head shower. The free wi-fi is decent, the test I did yesterday got about 3Mb up and down. There is also plenty of covered parking. The package I got came with free breakfast next doors at Stella's and it is amazing. The only real downside is the fitness room, the equipment is pretty mediocre other than that I don't have any complaints.

« Clock Tower nice down town location »

I out of Billings every so often, And I like to stay at this Hotel when I do. It is not far to drive to the airport from there. They have a shuttle service, when I get some one to drop me off. And it is located right down town. Right next to Jake's, and the new Sushi spot, Wild Gingers. There are casino's near by, and Stella's is famous for it's breakfast. Nice rooms.

    « surprised »

the staff went out of their way to make you feel at home and at ease. Montana is very neighborly anyway and this downtown Billings motel is in the heart of the city and close to everything. The rooms are priced competively with others close by, so chose this one and be happy with your choice

    « Perfect & Pet Perfect »

Easy to access and park when you find the location and learn the one-way streets. Stella's is the best restaurant anywhere. Rooms are nice and warmed up quickly. Perfect pet area. Had no real complaints.

    « Pleasantly Surprised »

Given the location and the price of hotel room, I had low expectations when I made reservations. However, I was pleasantly surprised, no amazed, at how clean and beautiful this hotel appeared. The location had easy access to the airport, the staff were so helpful and polite, and the facilities were great. The breakfast was yummy. And did I mention that the room was everything and then some? Definitely staying here again!!

    « Business meeting - Billings »

The room was modern and had all of the conveniences one would expect at a mid-range hotel. Large TV, refrigerator (ours wasn't working but we didn't need it) and friendly staff. The hotel was located in a very convenient area, close to restaurants, breweries, and a distillery. Parking was right in front of our room

Great room at a reasonable rate plus pet friendly and a delicious breakfast included.Within walking distance of many downtown Billings restaurants and Breweries . My brothers dog felt right at home.Located on main drag easy access for shopping and the airport.

« Best Western Clock Tower »

Excellent place to stay for overnight. We had an early plane to catch so we did not get a chance to use all the amenities at this hotel. Beds were comfortable, hot water great, tv excellent. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance.

« The best complimentary breakfast ever! »

The rooms were clean and well maintained except they are very, very small (particularly the bathroom). Haven't used a motel with outdoor room access for a long time so that took getting used to. The walls are thin so the TV noises from the adjacent room were loud. Parking is cramped. However, the complementary breakfast from Stella's next door offset many of the negatives. In addition top recharging our room, the hotel charges a $100 deposit which was not mentioned when registering. Supposedly it will be refunded when we check out. If your expectations aren't too high, it's an acceptable place to stay.

    « Nightmare Best Western »

The worst hotel for Best Western. The staff was rude and the parking terrible. The room was the smallest I have ever been in at ANY hotel or motel. You could barely fit in the bathroom. It was as if they chopped the rooms in half to allow twice as many people to occupy the space and still charge double.

« Best Western Billings Montana »

The rooms and the hotel service was great. The complimentary breakfast was the best I have ever been served at any motel chain. The only thing I didn't like was the cramped parking. It was difficult to get in and out of your vehicle and my brand new car got a door ding from another guest.

« Stayed several times, always good »

We have stayed several times in the past few years. Always fabulous service. Quick shuttle from/to the airport. Drivers are friendly and actually talk to you.front desk very efficient. Our last room in the Big Sky section looked recently renovated. Clean spacious room.always went to Stella's for breakfast anyway, but now having some free options made it a great value to us.

    « convenient »

The motel location was within walking distance of all venues we attended. The restaurant next door is a big draw. The lobby was clean and we used the fireplace as we sat there. The lobby was understaffed when we arrived.

    « Overnight in Billings »

Had a site to audit in Billings and this is where I ended up. Super nice and efficient check in clerk and a quiet comfortable room. The bathroom was a little small but how long do you spend in the bathroom? All in all a comfortable stop and the breakfast coupon for the place next door was better than any free buffet I've encountered in a lobby.

« Room Smelled Moldy, Phones Don't Work... »

They also coated the deck of the pool the st before we came and the smell was toxic! The pool was the whole reason Id chosen this place over another place so we were very disappointed. The only two positive things I can say about this place was that the staff was awesome and the free breakfast next door was fantastic!

    « pleasure trip »

The rooms were clean and the motel was centrally located to downtown Billings, so we could walk to the Jake's Steakhouse and to the theater. We thought that the Best Western was a great value for such a great quality motel.

« Not what I expected, but not bad »

First of all, this hotel is in the downtown district of Billings in close proximity to many locally owned restaurants, bars, etc. This is definitely a great convenience as the two places that I went to were very good. The hotel itself is an older hotel, and the rooms open to the outside, in a past life it was probably a motor lodge. The room was clean, bedding good, everything worked. I am a business traveler and don't take pets on the road with me, but I don't mind that others do. In that regards, this hotel is most definitely pet friendly and this is apparent the moment you step to the counter. If the dog in the seat or on the floor did not clue you in, their pictures on your key cards will. When traveling I try very hard to eat and stay at locally owned establishments instead of the big "chains". This is a whole lot easier with restaurants versus hotels but in this case it was pretty easy as the hotel gave me a card with a map and locations of all these great places. Good value for the money.

« BW Clocktower Inn, Billigs MT. »

Good location, very quiet, average amenities, should have had a king bed or even 2 queens instead of just one queen. I feel it was over priced considering the competition and would probably stay elsewhere were I to stay in Billings MT again.

    « Hidden pet fee »

Before we booked our room we searched online to see if there were any pet fees. There was nothing listed. Then when we paid for it the $20 fee popped up. We don't mind the $20, we do mind the hidden fee. It should be in the open so you can decide whether to pay it or not. The front desk clerk wasn't helpful about it at all. It also was very loud with people coming home from the bars at 2:30 am. You can hear everything.

« Great Value, awesome staff, next door to Stella's »

This is a great place to stay in Billings. The room, especially the bathroom and its linens are fantastic. I work on the road and the WIFI and digital TV is great. The staff are really special and super-friendly. The restaurant next door (Stella's) is definitely where the locals go, and has the best breakfast and lunch in town. Try the Avocado Chicken salad for lunch. Am definitely coming back.

    « 10 days in Billings »

Spent 10 days for a class at this hotel and they were very accommodating with free Wi-Fi and breakfast, good assortment of TV channels and convenient to a number of restaurants and bars. I would stay here again if I were to come back to Billings.

    « Pricey ? NOT AT ALL !!! »

My original impression was negative at the price plus it being in the middle of town. I was so wrong !! I was in the middle of town, but they have done a masterful job of isolating the site from the typical downtown noise and negatives. It's like stepping into an island get away !! The price was actually a bargain when factoring in the AMAZING breakfast !! Easily a $15 to $20 per person perk. It wasn't the typical BW breakfast at all. Stella's Kitchen should be featured on the Food Network !!

    « Convenient and Friendly »

I stayed at Clock Tower Inn.. I would recommend them.Convenient to everything and was able to walk to most things close by. That's a plus. Room was a great value and most things were up to the level I am use to but better pricing. I travel 45-55 days a year. So cleanliness is important, amenities are decent and clean. I would stay there again.

    « Worth the price! »

We stayed in a suite. So relaxing, bed comfortable. Had a regular and rain shower. Pet friendly and everyone was extremely friendly. You get free breakfast from cafe next door and great food! Worth it!

« Very Good for price »

Good bang for the buck. Great location, easy walking distance. Service at Stella's was questionable, they seated us and tended to all other customers, the food was good just poor service. Over all was good service.

« Nice place to stay downtown! »

Very nice remodeled room. We were right next to the outdoor pool which would have been great if it was summer! Covered parking. Best of all, free breakfast at Stella's, my favorite breakfast place in Billings. Beats continental breakfast any day!

    « Great »

This hotel has been renovated, however, the room we stayed in was poolside and was very clean. The best part was having breakfast at "Stellas Bakery" (a choice of 7 full meals)which was included in the price and was next door.

    « Very Nice !!! »

This facility is in downtown Billings. Very nice rooms, clean and comfortable. Unusual layout due to the location but very well done. Not close to town, in town. Walk several blocks to a dozen restaurants. Breakfast served at a restaurant adjacent to the facility. Very friendly and helpful staff.

« Small town service in big city »

Great place to stay in Billings while traveling from east coast to Yellowstone National Park as has least driving time to park entrance. Very close to airport and within walking distance to good restaurants. Had a wonderful breakfast at next-door bakery restaurant with excellent food and great servers. Hotel is secure, despite being located in city center and close to many attractions. Helpful and friendly staff made sure we could find good food and entertainment.

    « ethics »

The room had that "old smoke, perfume cover-up smell" when old hotels try to convert to non-smoking. I spent the next day with a sore throat and sneezing. I also forgot my pajamas at home, so purchased a new pair which were very nice. I realize it is my responsibility to check the room before checkout to see if I left anything. I was at the hotel for a conference, which is why I stayed there the first night. I hung my PJ's on the back of the door, which when open I could not see them. The hotel knew I was there all day for a conference, but when I checked later in the day to see if they had been turned in, which I learned was their policy, I was brushed off that "they must have been thrown away". Trust me, no one threw these away! They were very nice, new pajamas. Even though it is my responsibility to keep track of my belongings, I felt the staff has low morals and ethics in returning someone else's property, especially when they knew I was on campus all day. The second night I stayed somewhere else.

« Excellent hotel and service while traveling down the Interstate. »

We stayed here with our teen and our dog, very comfortable, great service. The free breakfast was tasty, and we were well-fed. There was plenty of room to walk our dog around the hotel, and the exercise room was perfect. We had called the hotel earlier that day, and were given a very nice room, with excellent service. I would recommend this hotel.
