    « Decent, nimic special »

I stayed a few times at this hotel....nothing to be impressed of, hoever...it is ok, not expensive, rooms of 2 or 3 stars, pretty clean...nothing spe though. Breakfast ok, the restaurant acceptable also for the rest of the food "a la carte". The staff pretty nice, but the waiters no...old and tired...they charged me extra 5 ron for roomservice:)...nice. The place is for non pretentious.

    « Old rooms »

We stayed for one night. Luckily we didn't have much time to spend indoors, but the rooms look old as they go back to the communism age. Also, the rooms were small and pretty cold by night. The breakfast was ok. Overall this hotel is not a 3 star hotel at all.

« Nothing special to say »

Despite asking for two adjoining rooms in advance we got 2 rooms in the same floor but far from each other which was a problem due to the kids The hotel is very basic , which is in parallel with the price level but the breakfast was simply not good.

    « business trip »

, it was four days trip at best western, we took a double room, with a large bed. the room was clean (as we expected) more then 3+. they change the towels every day. the breakfast was very good, variet. the furniture in the room and dining area was not modern, but in good shape. our room was with the parking view witch is not bad because it was not noise from the main road. I suggest for you to chose a room with parking view because its quite. the conference room was ok, ac, clean, coffee break etc.. it has a inside pool, it cost around 1 euro for one day/person, witch its not expensive. I didin t have time to test it. i will recomand this hotel.

« the worst BW ever seen! »

We love To travel with Family Everywhere in a Simple Way But here it was the worst experience . Bad balance quality price and services. A) breakfast : If there Are less Than 10 person in the hotel They don't put out buffet. Only " a la cart " But without menù. There Are 5 waiters seated, with smartphone To chat and noOne Able To serve and speak English. If you want a fresh orange juice you have To pay extra! B) Room Small and with holed Mosquitos Nets and dirty C) extra services 1) Swimming pool dirty of death flies 2) Sauna never available 3) gym closed even in the Hours written outside the door. D) cleaning We had To ask To Change the dirty sheets and clean the Room . Last But not least : a mouse in the Parking close the kitchen of the restaurant. All these services FOR 56 € in Romania It's a shame.

« We had a bad experience but yours might be better »

The Euro Hotel is located about a 20-minute walk from the city center in a residential/commercial neighborhood. The rooms are small but clean. The staff is reasonably fluent in English and very helpful. They have a pool but we think it is used for a fee by locals. They have a spartan but adequate fitness center and free parking on site. The breakfast was only OK but not bad. Our problem was that only a portion of the hotel has air-conditioning and ours did not work. The staff couldn't fix it and they nicely gave us a fan but the street noise and heat of 95 degrees made sleeping problematical. Bottom line is that if you are used to spending very little on hotels, this place will be a treat. But if you are looking for a property that is equivalent to a mid-grade US hotel, keep looking past the Euro.

« Sufficient, but nothing fancy here »

Smoking allowed, and apparantly well practiced in most rooms, as might be common in this part of Europe. The hotel has a pool, gym and a bowling lane in the bar. For scandinavians the price level here is very very affordable. The staff was helpful and fluent in english so thats nice. No major complaints really. Bed is so, so. Fine for shorter stays I think.

« Convenient but too much noise »

Despite the convenient price and a good placement, relatively close to the downtown, and very accessible, being placed on main avenue of the city, I don't recommend the hotel to the people who like large spaces (rooms are to small in my opinion) and a little bit "noisy", especially if you get a room wit "street view". Spa, pool and all other facilities come with extra costs, so the "relative low" price of the room reflect exactly the low comfort level and reduced services.

    « very cconvenient »

Everything you need - nothing more. A perfect 3 stars hotel. Easy to find. The room was just fine. Service was good.Good shower. Breakfast ok. Not a city center but with a very easy reach. For one night it is a perfect choice in Baia Mare.
