Best Western Plus Anderson

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. Having hot breakfast daily is definitely a bonus. The rooms are very quiet and clean. The hotel is easy to get into and out of. The wi-fi was a little unreliable.

Bed was of 1 start motels quality. Felt like sleeping on wood with a foam mattress topper. TV had a line going through it. Hot tub didn't work and was dirty as was the pool. Room cleaners came before check out. Glad we were in there as we had personal items sitting out. Not sure why they would go to anyone's room before the checkout time.

We were very pleased with the amenities and staff at this location. Price was also in line. Convenient location for our trip. Breakfast was a step above most places. Different menu choices every day. Beds and pillows were great!!

The hotel has an old odor to the hotel, hallways and room - maybe old carpets? Very dusty bed ruffle, Very old bathroom with chipped toilet. Very limited cleaning service on weekends at the highest price for rooms. DIsappointed!

Now a days you just don't know what condition the hotel you have just booked is in. And I have trust issues so when I read reviews like this I'm like yeah that's probably so their family members doing those reviews. We only used our rooms of course and the breakfast and they were both overall very good. I will stay here again and there are also good restaurants all around.

The rooms were spacious and clean, the employees were very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable, and breakfast was very good. Just using for an overnight stay to attend a conference. Would highly recommend.

The king room I was I was so big. There was a couch and coffee table. Everything was spotless. They thought of everything. The remote was clean and in a cover. There was a shower chair. They had the shower, conditioner, Lotio and face soap for use. They had a mini snack room for items to purchase. Also in the room were a refrigerator, microwave and Kerug coffeemaker with a few options. If you are a breakfast person, there's is great! They even have a board showing you each morning's menu. Hot and cold items. I was pleasantly impressed with my stay.

Hotel showed it age but was clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Front desk employees very nice. The pool and hot tub were very clean and enjoyable. The breakfast was lacking in options/stock, and the breakfast employee was beyond rude as she turned off the lights in the area 15 min early, did not restock items, started cleaning up before the breakfast time ended, and was unfriendly.

The rooms are a nice size, very clean and great A/C. Being a pet friendly hotel was a huge benefit. The pool an hot tub area was clean and maintained. Very Nice. I would definitely stay there again next time I am in Anderson.

This hotel was perfect for a good nights sleep. Shower was hot with good pressure. The Wi-Fi was quick and easy to get connected. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. Not sure about the tv because we passed out and never turned it on. It was also quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Previous stays at other Best Westerns have always been negative. Rooms were not clean, staff were usually rude, and the overall condition of the hotel left me wondering if I was gonna get murdered. That was not the case with the Best Western Plus in Anderson. I was moved to this hotel after the Fairfield Inn in Muncie turned out to be a huge disaster. The staff here were extremely kind and helpful, the hotel was clean, and the rooms were in great shape even for being a bit older hotel. I also appreciated that the hotel included breakfast and high-speed internet at no additional cost. This hotel wasn't my first choice but it was a pleasant surprise and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a place to stay in a pinch!

Surprisingly nice! A secure, welcoming lot, conveniently located, quiet, a very friendly check-in, a room with good lighting (fantastic bathroom vanity lighting) and HVAC, CLEAN, a comfy bed, desk and lounge chair, a mini fridge, coffee, hot breakfast - where do I stop? Oh, and fluffy towels... all at a reasonable price. It's not fancy - but it's great for what it is. It'll be the first place I check when I next stay in this area. Thanks to the staff here at the Anderson Best Western Plus: I wish more fancy hotels treated me this well!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this Best Western. Both times it was clean, and very quiet. We enjoyed the Pool both times. A very clean pool area, and pool. We saw the breakfast which looked delicious and lots of choices, but had other breakfast plans with Family. Next time we will not make Breakfast plans and eat there.

Wonderful breakfast. Excellent quality and selection! Nice pool and hot tub for kids! Clean, comfortable room. Staff very friendly. We got there early. They were understaffed but got our room ready very quickly.

This hotel is in my opinion a hidden gem. I travel for business and stay in hotels around 20 nights a month across the country and my stat here was ine of the best I have experienced in sometime. The place is super clean and the staff is awesome. The rooms are really nice and the bedding is comfortable. I wish all my stays could be like the one I had here in Anderson.

5 stars for this price point. 2011 renovation has been well maintained. Hotel overall & our room were clean and well furnished. Generous open floor space in our single king room. Comfortable bed. Fast & reliable internet. Complimentary breakfast was basic but good – and hot items were served by staff (to avoid everybody breathing on the food & touching the utensils!). Did not use pool, hot tub, or exercise room but those appeared to be well equipped and maintained. Walls are just a little thin – could hear a little noise through them, but not to the point of being a problem. Staff were friendly, welcoming, & helpful. We usually pick from 3 other brands, but #1 was closed, #3 had active remodeling, #2 was 30% higher $$. Very happy with this property, which is now high on our list for return visits to Anderson.

hotel canceled and changed dates of confirmed reservations. people had to share rooms with others so they did not have to sleep in there cars. Management seemed to not care about their mistakes. had no answers

Receptionist welcomed us, the room was clean, beds comfy and breakfast good. Everyone treated my disabled daughter kindly and helpful to her. Could not ask for a better place to stay. Room service friendly. On the way back soon!

We had just checked into our room when housekeeping/room inspector knocked on the door and used a key to enter the room. She was asking if we needed anything? Before I could even get up to answer the door she was letting herself in with a hotel key. I was stunned needless to say! I then reported this to the manager deet - he told me that she was there inspecting the room because we checked in early. I said I don't think we checked in early? - we should not of been able to check in if the room was not ready. She was asking if we needed anything? I will definitely never stay at the best Western again. Probably never in a best western anywhere after this experience. I have never in all of my years staying at hotels had anybody walk in my room like that. Could've ended differently. Thankful that no one was injured or an awkward situation was avoided. Bathroom floor was also very dirty I don't believe it was cleaned. Very minor in comparison to the walking in on us.

Hotel is very nice and clean. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Hot breakfast items with variety of cereal, fruit, pastries, and juices offered. Room was very comfortable and smoke free. Several guests at hotel same night but was quiet.

We were very pleasantly surprised by how much Best Western has stepped up their hotel and their service. The hotel has lots of space, clean and comfortable and well-stocked rooms. It also has a great breakfast and breakfast area, functional business center, nice gym and pool, pleasant sitting area, adequate sundries room, updated reading material available (including USA Today), more than ample parking, and a wonderful staff. We were very pleased with every aspect of our stay, and though we had no internet connection on the WiFi after midnight, that didn't bother us or detract from the experience.

The best hot breakfast experience in our 2 years of traveling cross country!! Selections change daily (French toast, cheese omelets, etc). Lots of healthy options, including a variety of non-dairy milks. Ample parking for our large RV. Safe, clean and quiet rooms. We will definitely return if in the area. Great value!

We booked a room at the BW in Anderson, Indiana based on reviews on TA and we are so glad we did! This is one of the nicest BW hotels we've stayed in recently. First off--the hotel is located away from the interstate so it is quiet (the other standard hotels are much closer to the interstate/noise). The parking lot was very safe as they have an up to date camera system--which you can view in the lobby. The lobby was spotless as were the hallways & our room. I'd say the room was recently refurbished and very well maintained. Everything worked and it was quiet & comfortable. Breakfast was really good --they had a gal serving the food from hot chafing dishes- so no need to worry about guests touching the food. Everything was hot and quite tasty. Breakfast selections are rotated every day and they have the selections posted in the dining area. Coffee was excellent. The guest dining area was very pleasant, upscale and tables were socially distant. Free USA papers were available, Would highly recommend you check this location out if you are traveling near Anderson and need a place to stay.

It took me a half hour just to check in I swear the lady to check to Cine didn't even know where she was at the rooms are not that great the tiles were off the floor in the bathroom it had an odor to it was not happy. He stated the quality inn down the street and it was OK we thought we were upgrading and this was worse than that place

We chose this hotel because it was one of the few that allowed cats, and we had to take them on a long Snowbird trip. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and friendliness of the staff. The pool was a real luxury and hot tub after a long drive, the casino was 2 minutes away for a quick trip out to unwind, and the breakfast was fantastic. The place sparkles clean and was small and convenient for those with pets.

The staff were very friendly, the room was roomy and clean, and the pool and hot tub were at comfortable temperatures. this is usually a good stopping point for use on our travels and we try and stay here every time we can.

Hotel was very clean, beds need some work, we stayed at this same location about a month prior for a bowling tournament and that bed was awesome. Unsure why this one was so uncomfortable. This stay the housekeeper knocked to come in and before I could answer she attempted to come in and clean room before we even checked out, I was 10 AM and the check out time is 11 AM, other than that it was a good location to stay. Close to shops, food, bowling and casino.

Most Expensive Hotel in Anderson not any cheaper or better than Marriott or Hampton they are a lot cheaper. Best Western breakfast was cold and hot tub was cold first night. Food servers were not friendly.

I treated my dear friend to a Gaither Vocal Band concert in Anderson, and because I don't like driving at night, we spent the night at Best Western Plus. The motel was very easy to find, and was very nice. We enjoyed our stay!

Stayed on a Saturday night, typically a busy night for the casino crowd in Anderson. Like many, my main concern is cleanliness; this hotel was very clean, both in public areas and in the room. It is not run-down in any way and appears well-maintained and up to date. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I arrived almost an hour before check in and they got me right in my room. That night, there was a crowd in the lobby-table area that was quite loud (not obnoxious, but having fun) and instead of breaking up the party, the young man on duty set this group up in a private meeting room. The king room was decent sized, and I cannot speak for the layout of the standard two queen rooms but having the sink/mirror area out of sight from the main part of the room is nice, especially for privacy purposes if with family or a group. The hotel is pet-friendly, but you would never know it by smell or appearance of room or common areas. The pool area was also clean, pool water was warm, and the white noise of the "waterfall" was a nice relaxing touch. Would stay here again if I ever come back to the area. One caution; there are a number of hotels in the immediate area. I spoke to one of the clerks at a gas station (they had protection windows between staff and customers, which gave me pause and prompted me to ask about it) and she told me that some of the budget hotels get an "interesting" clientele, especially on weekends. Read and take reviews to heart in casino areas. I can see why this hotel is the number one rated property in the area. I did not get to stay for breakfast, but having seen everything else I have no reason to doubt it is as good as advertised.

Clean and comfortable bed and pillows. I appreciate having a lightweight bed covering and not the usual thick duvet that many hotels have. This resulted in good sleep and not getting overheated like I do other places. Employees were friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean with decent breakfast. Bathroom vanity area was a bit small in our king room, but we were only there for one night so not too much of an issue. Hotel is convenient to stores, restaurants, and right off the highway. Would stay here again.

I took the granddaughters for a cousin sleepover. They had a ball in the pool except the floor is rough so wear swim shoes. Rooms are great, rollaways are not. Breakfast had reheated items, just okay !

We stayed to have a pool party for our son and needless to say it was awesome. The breakfast was amazing since the addition of the waffle maker.i was also able to make my nightly tea in my room. WEe couldn't have had any better.

Very good service at this hotel, Pet friendly and excellent staff. the location is very good close to restaurants and super market, the rooms are clean ant good internet for me that work online. Next time I will try the breakfast.

This is an excellent hotel. Great breakfast. Very pleasant people and clean rooms. Wi-Fi is strong. Bed was excellent, great nights sleep. No road noise. Tip: When you come off the highway, go to the Save a lot, Kroger'sn. It has a large parking lot, so you can pick up your groceries. From there, exiting to the hotel is a breeze, as you are straight ahead from the traffic signal. There are four spots for RVs and trailers. Go past the first entrance and go to the next one. This will have you facing the right way when you leave. Plus your RV door will be facing the hotel.

Stayed there last night, Sat Dec 11 2021, with my girlfriend. Great amenities, hot tub worked, friendly staff, no real complaints until this morning. Breakfast was 7 to 10, I got there at 9:30. The lady cooking breakfast was not friendly at all. And that was reflected in other reviews that I read. But I can deal with that. But then she shut everything down at quarter till ten. All I wanted was to cook myself a waffle, and she said no. Wasn't apologetic, she was very rude. That pissed me off. If I'm ever back in the Anderson Indiana area, I will not stay there. I will stay at Motel 6 and go to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. They've lost my business.

Great Hotel, Great People, but the Beds are not good. We stayed for a week and We had to ask for my mattress pads, the Bed are extremely Hard. It was really uncomfortable for the week. But the staff was great. We were in town for a event. So we wont stay again.

We stopped during our trip to Florida. The rooms accepting pets were nice, very clean. Close to dining, pool still available. Manager fixed a reservation issue happily after hearing our problem. We will definitely stay here again!

Certainly a very nice place, not sure I'd call it a 4 star hotel but it's quite nice. People are very friendly and honestly the hotel restaurant is better than ANYTHING in town. It's very peaceful here and the desk staff is amazing I would definitely come back again.

I was traveling with my dog and this hotel made it very easy by putting us on the first floor near the exit for easy of taking a dog in and out. The room I stayed in was very clean and the sheets even smelled clean. The only complaint that I would have is that the room smelled like it was drowned in Febreze. But I would stay at this hotel again.

I stay at hotels with my pet 1-2 times per month. This hotel was, by far, the best I have experienced in a while. The staff was helpful and friendly, the room was clean and everything worked in the room - all of which have been rare lately in my stays.

Have stayed at this location several times and have never been disappointed. Employees are always helpful and pleasant. Very clean and well kept property. My only concern and this is industry wide for hotels is the cost to stay has doubled per night from precovid cost. That hurts the pocketbook a little more.

Easy to find= 1 rating, Breakfast, they at least try= 1 rating. Other than that the room smelled stagnant, felt like the sheets and comforter haven't been washed, the t.v. in the bedroom didn't work, it skipped. Even though we "reserved" a king size bed, they didn't have one available for us so they gave us a queen bed suite. The bed was uncomfortable and small, more like a full size bed.

We came in for a family at one of the college. We were happy with the service that we received. The hotel is a bit dated, but they made up for it with how on top of everything the staff was. They were quick to give us recommendations and tell us the ins and outs of the area. We really enjoyed our stay.

We came for a dog show in muncie which was on lk y 20 min away. This is a great place to stay. The area is safe. The hotel was very clean and staff was very helpful and friendly. We had out dog with us for one night and had no issues. Would stay here again.

The room was clean and comfy. Our room had a keurig but seemed to be malfunctiining because I had quite a bit of coffee grounds in my cup. They had hot fresh coffee downstairs and that was just as good. The price was great for the quality of the hotel. The variety at breakfast was great and everything was tasty.

We stayed here for one night. We were passing through town on our way home from a funeral down state. The room was nice and clean, just a little pricey for what it was. The beds are firm, but we still slept decent. Full breakfast was advertised but was more along the lines of a continental breakfast. The hallway and lobby also smelled very strong of a chemical cleaner. I understand the importance of cleanliness especially during this pandemic, but the smell was over the top. All things considered, I would stay here again.

We were traveling to Michigan from Florida and booked a night stay at the Best Western Plus in Anderson, Indiana. The lady at the front desk was super. The system was down but since we're members of the rewards club, she offered us 2 cold bottles of water and our choice of 2 snacks for each of us. She explained the challenge they were having with the system but assured us all was well. Our room was clean and comfortable. The room rate was very reasonable and breakfast was great.

We have stayed here quite a few times over the past and this time it was a totally different experience. Even though I booked the room way in advance I did not get the 3rd floor as requested and was told the hotel was booked so we couldn't move. We had a 1st floor room by the lobby. The rates were much higher than we paid in the past and there was some type of cheer leading competition so the hotel was noisy with kids running up and down the halls. I finally called the front desk at 10:30 and asked when the quiet hours were and the manager took care of it quickly. Breakfast was served to us and we were disappointed that the omelette station was not in service anymore (probably due to Covid). We will be finding another hotel to stay at in the future.

I booked this hotel because it was really the only available hotel in the area and I got the rate locked in for $189.00. When we arrived the old lady at the front desk told me she needed my debit card (which I just had provided when I book the room & the day off a male called me and asked for the number because the payment didn't go through). I handed her my debit card and asked her why she had needed it again, after had just provided it hours before. She said even though its pending with my bank they still need it. In the meantime of all this, my 2 youngest kids are running around in the lobby and my son goes to the little snack area and grabs 2 bags of chips and the lady is looking at him just scolding him. Seconds later, I grab the chips and put them back. Next, we go to our room which was 211. The moment I open the door, it has a weird stench, combination of musty armpits and Mexican food smell. I call down to the front desk and ask the same lady about the smell and she says she doesn't recall the room having a stench too it. This smell was so bad, its all I could smell the whole time in the room. The room was somewhat cleanly, however I noticed dust all over the nightstand, and hand prints all over the headboard. Our toilet wasn't properly working. The toilet tank wouldn't fill up with water. The following morning, we headed for breakfast in the lobby around 9:45a, there were 2 ladies working the breakfast counter, one younger and one older. They both appeared to have an attitude and not so friendly. The older lady appeared to be more rude. I had grabbed a plate for them to put my food on and tried to hand it to her and she grabbed a different plate and put my food on. I didn't even feel comfortable asking her for food for the rest of my children so I had my boyfriend get there plates of food. As soon as we got our food, they began taking away the food and took away the milks and juice. I would not recommend this hotel and when I come back to the area I will be staying at another hotel.

We have been staying here for the past 3 years during our trip to the Indy 500. We love it here. The room are immaculate and the staff is great. There is an exercise room, pool and hot tub. The breakfast is great I highly recommend Best Western Plus Anderson. We will be back next year.

It would have been better to receive a call telling me i couldn't have the room i wanted. "We sent you an email" is not satisfactory. If I can call letting you know when I'll be there, they can call to let me know if there is a problem.

This hotel is one of the best hotels in the Best Western chain we have stayed at. The hotel clerks were warm yet professional. Our queen hotel room was neat & very clean, as well as the bathroom. We had lots of towels, and the shower was hot & wonderful. The bed was comfortable and we had lots of pillows. The room heater was quiet and efficient, maintaining the temp as programmed. A real perk was a Keurig room coffeemaker, & delicious coffee in the morning. We are now used to (but don't particularly like) those grab & go breakfast bags, but this hotel offered a hot, full breakfast, with ham, bacon, scrambled and hardboiled eggs, waffles, pancakes, cereal, bagels, fresh fruit and yogurt, and good coffee! What a treat. We just had a really great stay.

When my house caught fire in late September, the insurance company set me up at this Best Western. Rooms and facility are super-clean. Laundry and workout equipment are first-rate, breakfast is hearty, heat/cold are quiet and effective, reliable free internet; everything works. The staff are friendly and helpful, coffee is 24/7 (plus the coffee maker in the room). They're pet-friendly, and even my cat got used to things after a few days. (Well, not to the vacuum cleaner, but she recovers quickly.) Huge parking lot, with room and turnaround for big rigs, too. Easy, immediate access to I-69. Family and fast-food restaurants all over the place. After almost ten weeks here, I'm still comfortable, and I still enjoy this. I stay in a lot of hotels in my business, and this one is as good a place to stay as any of them. Highly recommended.

I absolutely can't stay enough about this Anderson, Indiana Best Western. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and fun. They are so witty and courtesy. The place is so clean. It is my favorite place to stay when I travel. We were unable to hold our family reunion here this year but will hopefully be able to next July. I am sure I will be back before then. My wife and I stayed at this hotel last year and came back for another stay. Hotel was great (considering COVID). We will be back! Breakfast was minimal but more than expected again due to Covid. Pool and hot tub were enjoyable. Rooms were very large and clean

My name is Lakeya. For the most part I have had a very good experience. I been at this hotel, because I moved out my apartment after ten years when my lease was up. I don't want to rush into any lease, and I am sort of restricted until Texas counties open back up fully due to the Corona pandemic. The manager by far treated me with respect. In my opinion, he greets people and is also there for any of my concerns as a customer. Also, he is very hands on manager. More than likely you can always witness him in the area. I only had one problem with the staff. Weeks ago someone was making sort of smart comments to me, but I don't even think she works here anymore. Other than that, I have had a very pleasant experience. The cook is very nice and always greets me, and I witness him treating everyone else who gets in line to get food with the same respect. The hotel staff including house keepers has done a great job respecting my personal space. I am a veteran and in the past some hotels didn't respect my boundaries and challenges I face since being deployed. They allowed me to get the items I need without interrupting my sleep in the day, since I can't sleep at night. PM is a very kind house keeper and always treats me with respect. Also, all the other housekeepers were great at respecting me when it came to these issues. Overall, I would recommend people to stay here. You will not be disappointed. As I stated earlier, someone in charge is here most of the time. Therefore, I believe your issues will be handled. The front desk staff is always there to handle many concerns as well. Lakeya

Front desk is always there to help and the Internet works great. The location is right off of I-69 and near a nice selection of restaurants. Always convenient and affordable. They serve a great breakfast, when they are allowed to during this COVID 19 issue.

I stayed at this hotel while traveling for a dog show in Muncie, IN. This was the closest hotel that seemed decent near the show. I was disappointed that no staff wore masks, despite the hotel posted written policy that staff follow CDC guidelines. The room smelled of cigarette smoke and was very dirty-dead bugs( flies, a bee, beetles) on the carpet in the corners and under the chair etc. The remote was filthy and stains under the mattress. The motel behind this property is super sketchy and there were people fighting and yelling into the night. I would have left had there been any other dog friendly hotels close by. I would never stay there again. I will be returning to the area for a show in August and will be sticking with Hilton brand from now on.

This hotel has very caring staff that go above and beyond to provide a clean, well cared for property and very nice stay. The breakfast is also well staffed and has a good variety. I have not stayed anywhere when in Anderson except at this hotel since last spring and have not been disappointed.

While there are several hotel options in Anderson, Indiana (and I have stayed at nearly all of them), Best Western is my lodging of choice. The facility is clean, the beds / pillows are very comfortable, customer service is phenomenal. During one stay in particular we had nasty winter weather. I was dreading my 4am departure because I knew I would have clear my car of snow and ice. Much to my surprise and delight, when I entered the parking area I found the overnight clerk busily cleaning off EVERYONE'S car! Thanks Best Western. You're awesome.

I had been traveling all week staying at my favorite chain (Best Western of course) in four different States. This property was the best and the breakfast was fabulous! I was in a hurry, and they even had wrapped breakfast sandwiches to go!

Me and a coworker really enjoyed staying here as part of a trip to do bird of prey programs in Indiana! The hotel staff was wonderful, and everyone was helpful and friendly. We really appreciated their willingess to allow us to travel with our birds! The front desk manager, Courtney, was a very pleasant person to chat with, and the breakfast crew really put a lot of effort into making quite a delicious spread! Thank you, Best Western Anderson!

We loved our stay at the Best Western Anderson! The staff were really something special. Everyone went way out of their way to be kind and helpful. The breakfast was much better than most hotels and everything was clean and comfortable. We used the pool and hot tub, both of which were well maintained. The little convenience store in the lobby was priced right and helpful. We will definitely be back!

I want a refund of my smoking fee. We stayed on 12/22 in room 101 and supposedly there were 2 cigarette butts out the window, but nothing in the room. You claim there is a law that says one can't smoke within 8 feet of a building, but it's 8 ft from a public entrance and you have a trash can with an ash tray 4 ft from the side door by 101. We aren't smokers and your proof doesn't show any smoking in our room. Your proof is butts laying outside and our room number! You're understanding of the law is wrong and you're in violation by having a trash can with an ash tray so close to your public entrance. We had to walk passed smokers to get into the building. I have contacted corporate and will get my refund. We didn't smoke in the room, in the yard, anywhere! The folks across the hall from us smoked because they were thre ones we walked past, it could've been them! This is wrong that you charged us at 2am while we were sleeping and didn't come into our room to verify!! This will also go to the better business bureau and news stations that this is how you run your business. It's wrong to do while people are there and can't prove to you that our room was clean!

Great place to relax and great breakfast food and staff. Front desk was wanting to make our stay a wonderful experience and it was. The bed was very comfortable and got a great night sleep and it wasn't noisey even though there were a few children there.

My wife and I have travelled well over 100,000 miles all over the continental USA and Ontario, Canada. We have stayed in Mom and Pop motels and so many brand name motels. This motel is top notched and i would highly recommend it to anyone. They have the best breakfast, homemade eggs, brand name sausage, bacon, and other great foods. They have hot decaf and caffeinated coffee 24/7. We had a group of about 30 people for a get together and everyone loved this place. The motel was very clean as well as the rooms. The staff went out of their way to welcome and insure we were having a great time. I couldn't count the number of times the front lobby was mopped in two days. I want to thank the kitchen staff for their great food. I also wanted to say thank you to Courtney and Amy. They welcomed us and were very friendly. Best Western Plus Anderson was so good, that we have already booked our next get together for next year. Awesome Place

The staff at this Best Western is like none other, they are the friendliest and most helpful people that you will ever meet. We travel a lot and this staff is definitely the best of the best! The rooms are also very clean and well kept, do not hesitate to stay there!

Only place we will ever stay and have no problem recommending it to family and friends..the couple of issues we had can be forgiven...they might have been having a bad day..but if you allow dogs need to make sure the staff is not afraid of them...

We stayed for 1 night on the way to Indianapolis. Staff at desk was very friendly and helpful. Hotel and room were clean. Room was quiet. Breakfast far exceeded expectations. Staff greeted us as soon as we walked in. Food options were great (made to order omelets, several hot options, etc). Not your typical Best Western...

Stayed at this motel a year ago and returned to same without hesitation again this year for an event at Anderson University. Clean, incredibly friendly, courteous staff, comfortable bed, convenient location, good breakfast selection - an excellent value for the money. Looking forward to returning next year.

Great hotel and friendly, helpful staff. Kitchen went above and beyond for us preparing breakfast and hour and a half early for our group. . Reserving a block of rooms was a breeze. Nice, large pool and hot tub.

Due to serious health issues, we VERY THOROUGHLY inspect our hotel rooms from top to bottom (including the air handling filters) prior to unloading our luggage. Of the numerous hotels we've stayed throughout the nation, this was by far one of the cleanest rooms and facilities we've ever seen. In fact, other than this Best Western Plus, I honestly can't recall staying at a hotel that didn't have issues that needed to be addressed. Some other stuff... The staff was VERY friendly and accommodating. The free breakfast buffet was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, and we're super picky and critical as far as that goes too. More options and better quality than even some buffets where we've had to pay. We liked the convenience of being able to take the free shuttle to the nearby Hoosier Park Racing and Casino, if we chose to do so. The only negative, which is no fault of the Best Western Plus, was the pretty sketchy looking hotel/apartments on one side of the hotel. That said, we never felt unsafe. Parking is well lit and on the opposite side. If you're needing a room in the Anderson area, we highly recommend staying at the Best Western Plus.

Checki in went to bed at around 11pm it was noisy in the hallway and at the end of the hallway at the doors the tentant staying or living there had a sleep over for some Kids at midnight i went down to front deck and told him about the noise he went down said somethink to them and then the noise moved to the room which was just across the hall about 2:30 am at stop didnt get much sleep that night was glad to be home the next night

Amy, the front desk staff, made me feel so welcome and comfortable. I viewed a few rooms in the area and decided to stay at best western because of how safe I felt and welcome. She was very personable, knowledgeable, and offered to let me see a room without me even asking. She also mentioned how much the owner's cares for their staff and that she truly enjoyed working there which made me immediately want to stay. She's a very valuable addition to the staff there. I was in town for a funeral and felt very comfortable and safe staying there. She greeted me every time I came and went and it was nice to have found a friend during those difficult days. Thank you!

Everyone at this best western was genuinely nice. The girls at the counter, the ones serving breakfast--everyone. The property was clean and nice looking. The shuttle for the casino was the entire reason I picked this hotel but the service would bring me back.

Great little hotel. Check in was fast, staff friendly and helpful. Shuttle to casino is quick, 24 hours on weekends. Breakfast was awesome! Omelet station, cheesey hashbrowns, bacon, ham etc. Highly recommended

Nice clean rooms, beds were comfy with plenty of pillows. Love the breakfast options!! Also took advantage of the indoor pool/hot tub areas. My personal preference would've been to have a roomier bathroom/vanity area in my room & brighter light bulbs in the lamps/fixtures of the room but overall a nice stay.

We actually stayed here twice within a three week period. The first visit, we had a ground floor room. King bed. The room was spacious, everything worked. Nothing to complain about. The 2nd visit, we had a room on the 2nd floor, almost directly above our 1st room. This room was also a king bed room, and spacious. The only difference was that you could tell the building roof had leaked at some point, as the ceiling was patched. The hotel had a workout room, which we didnt use. They also have a pretty extensive free breakfast, which was really good on both stays. Some of the employees at the counter during check-in/check-out were so-so, and some were much nicer and more helpful. Such is life. The location is right off the interstate, with lots of restaurants nearby. Our first visit was to attend a Colts game in Indianapolis, which was only about a 45 min drive south. Our second visit was to attend a comedy show at the Harrahs casino, which was about a 5 minute drive right up the road. All in all, we would stay here again, if in the area.

This hotel is very well kept. The staff all work together to make you feel at home and you can tell they take pride in their hotel. The breakfast had good variety and they worked to keep up with it very well. We have stayed here before and nothing had changed in how well the hotel is managed and taken care of.

We have been staying with Best Western Anderson for several years when we are in the area. This past July we booked rooms for the entire family, when we had our reunion. They let us use the breakfast area in the afternoon for our get togethers and meals. I can't say enough about the fantastic staff they employ.

The staff at the Best Western Plus in Anderson were great. They really went out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. I would recommending stay here. It is very close to the Hoosier horse park and there is a shuttle that runs all night.

Fantastic, amazing breakfast with made to order omelettes, tons of breakfast choices, everything was delicious and staff was very friendly on top of everything. My husband, who usually doesn't enjoy hotel breakfasts, was very impressed and enjoyed the breakfast very much. Staff was very friendly and helpful, room was comfortable and clean, WiFi was fast and no issues. The pool was nice, and the hot tub was spacious and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are anywhere in the area!

This hotel was very clean, had no smell even with guests in the pet rooms, sheets were clean and smelled clean, bathroom, shower were clean. I have no complaints. The breakfast was good, and all the staff was very nice.

We were in the area to attend racing at Hoosier Park and stayed here one night. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning is fantastic. There is a breakfast 'special' listed daily. All staff we encountered was extremely friendly.

The staff here make you want to never leave. The atmosphere is business like but with a sense of being fun also. The staff are so friendly and the breakfast is like none other. Made to order omlets and the ladies preparing the breakfast are funny and fun. Breakfast is a lively event here.

The BW Pluses are starting to get better and better as this chain strives to get newer hotels across it's line. This place was brand new and is well done, that said the hotel management still has to get the job done, which it has here at this hotel, great staff and a new hotel, a winning combination. We enjoyed the breakfast and liked the fact that they have great staff taking care to see that everything goes smoothly, they even have daily offering to change up the menu (see picture). If all BW's were of this quality, I would go no where else. This place has it all. Thanks for a great night stay.

We had an overnight following a meeting at another facility. At least 12 rooms were booked. The facility and personnel were fantastic. We utilized their meeting room for an additional meeting and that worked well. All present spoke highly of the facility and personnel. Breakfast was well presented, excellent selection, and far above normal quality for a hotel facility. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

We absolutley loved the breakfast and the ladies who worked it.(Dawn, Wahna, and Misty!!) Those ladies really make you feel like you are family. On some days you can have a made to order omelet. Other days there is plenty to choose from. Sausage, eggs, bacon, biscuit and gravy, muffins, yogurt, etc.. Our room was clean. The housekeeper that took care of our room on the 6th was very friendly(Sorry I missed her name). They have a pool it looked nice. We did not have time to use it. Our family loved talking with Courtney L at the front desk. She was very friendly!! They have a nice laundry area, which we used. We would stay here again!!

Refrigerator in the room for the 9 months old. Was able to wind down and watch a movie on the movie channel, with out being charged. Room was large enough for the Baby to crawl around. I was able to connect to the internet.

This was lovely to view when walking in and then the rooms were very nice and the pool and work out was great. You will need to work out cause the breakfast was fantastic. The front desk had kind and carrying people and helped with directions too. The omlet bar made the omelets to you specifications. The front desk had little bag of snacks ready for you day too.

The Anderson Indiana Best Western is our first choice of places to stay. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The location is off the main highways, so the amount of traffic is low. The staff is professional and helpful.

Rooms are nice, staff is the best there is, from housekeeping to maintenance to front desk to food prep team, these people know and practice customer service. Breakfast was full, warm, fresh with a made to order omelette station on Friday morning. Warm cinnamon rolls, fresh meats... was far above what you'd expect to experience in a hotel breakfast bar. These people work hard and are proud of what they deliver. Great experience!

We were on a business/leisure trip. The hotel was great, the staff were great, the amenities were great. Everything we needed was here - hot breakfast, pool/spa, weight room, comfortable rooms. Location was good: near freeway exit, but far enough to not get a lot of road noise, near dining, casino. At corner with a signal light making left turns easy. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

One of one of our best vacation stays ever, the breakfast buffet was fantastic. Very clean newer motels in the area, very friendly staff will definitely stay here again, in fact we already booked for a stay In September at check out.

We have stayed here a few times over the years and are always pleased. The staff is always friendly. Check in and out are a breeze. They have an awesome omelette station for breakfast. This was a great hotel. Fruit bar was amazing! Fastest check in and check out I have ever experienced! This hotel has a great location. Great restraunts like Cracker Barrel and Red Lobster are very close by. Highly recommend!

Hotel staff is incredible and helpful. Pools were clean. Rooms were clean and well taken care off. Stuff reacted very quickly to anything needed. Highly recommend this hotel. Laundry was a good price to use.

Return trip from Florida. Have a small dog. Normally stay at LaQuinta in Greenwood, I N. After stopping in Greenwood, found out LaQuinta was purchased by Wyndham. Changed their policy regarding pets and staff was not friendly. Decided to move on. Glad we did. Anderson will be our new staff.

We stay at this hotel at least twice a year. Under new management. Refreshing to see people who really want to serve you and appreciate that you chose their hotel to stay in. Would recommend to anyone.

I travel quite and prefer to stay at a Marriot or Hilton but was unable to find any other hotel for this particular weekend so I had to stay at the Bestwestern Plus. I was very surprised by this hotel on arrival. It was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. We were there visitng family and they came over and swam with us. The pool was very nice and I loved that they had a bathroom facilty in the pool area. I would reccomend this hotel and would definately reconsider my options in the future and include this hotel chain. My only complaint would be that they did not have full size pillows.

Rooms are great, beds were good too! Breakfast was really good during our stay. We will be back if we vist Indy again! The employees were really friendly! Really liked the fruit bar for breakfast. Also, great location!

We stayed 1 night to do a college visit in town. The service at breakfast was amazing. They made us omelets that were amazing. Room was clean, and it fit exactly what we needed. Great staff, very friendly.

Stayed here on the first night of a 17 day cross country road trip. This hotel was clean, quiet, people were friendly and the breakfast was excellent and I originally gave it 5 stars. However, when I checked my credit card bill, I had been charged $30 for stealing two pillows which we did not do and have never done. When I contacted the owner Mr. Deet, he was very rude and told me "he was not accusing me of stealing property, it is just standard process to charge a guest for missing property. If the guest doesn't call to complain, then it must be true." When I told him I would never stay at his property again, he said "if I thought that were true, I would not take the time to refund the $30." I finally received the refund but will never stay here again. If you do choose to stay here, check your credit card bill carefully.

i will never go to the one in anderson ind again the owner is very mean his mother works for him thought we took hair dryer we still had are room for two more days but she came out to the pool started yelling at us you took hair dryer I could not believe this telling us to leave I went to are room and got the hair dryer then she found out it was the next room over that checked out that took it from there room she never said anything to us not a sorry or nothing when we was ready to check out we had to wait for cab so we thought we could wait in lobby oh no the owner said we had to wait on the other side of parking lot it was very cold I had three grandkids with me and my special needs daughter after staying three days at a hundred dollars a day we could not wait inside he said it was bad for business waiting like that we seat out in the freezing cold for an hour or longer I went and asked him please can we wait in side he said no he was having people check in so sad my grandkids ages 2 years 5 years and 12 years old my special needs daughter and me very sad people going to do kids like that and I awear this is the truth this just happed march 1 2019

I really like this place. I stay here often, I think it is really under-rated. The pool and hot tub are always clean, room is always nice. I stay once a week here. I will return. Courtney at front desk is so helpful

Rooms have declined since last year. Biggest issue was smokers right outside our window laughing and talking loudly at 10pm and 2 am!!! Recommended this hotel to others after last year but will not do so again!

Every BWP I have stayed at provides an overall outstanding experience. The room rates cannot be beat when you consider the amenities like hot breakfast and exercise room. I have stayed in some of higher end hotels and resort in Florida, California, DC and Vegas and find BWP comparable or above in terms of welcoming staff, internal and external property appearance.

Friendly staff, nice entrance way with a little lounge area, clean rooms, nice bathroom area, coffee maker and hair dryer. clean breakfast area, Great choices of food and drink for breakfast, nice work out room. Pool and hot tub excellent, Pool room neat and tidy plenty of towels to use.. Great stay.

Rest easy and affordably at Best Western Plus. This great hotel is close to both Harrah's Hoosier Park and Interstate 69. Free breakfast buffet with a super helpful staff. There is also a free Shuttle service to and from the Casino.

My friend and I just met up in Anderson as it is halfway point for him in Louisville, KY and me in Kalamazoo, MI. From the moment we arrived we knew it was going to be a pleasant nights stay. The hotel is quite nice and very clean. The help was phenomenal from check in to check out and every minute in between. The rooms were well furnished and nicely decorated. The hot breakfast, including an omelette bar, was a very nice touch and so much better than the usual fare offered by other 'full service' breakfast claims and the breakfast lady on 2/17 was extremely friendly and accommodating. Though there's a lot of road and highway construction around the city itself, the hotel is located in the heart of the main drag and there is free shuttle service to and from the casino (though save your money but that's for another review). There's a Cracker Barrel that's right next door as well. All in all, great place, great value and will certainly stay here again in the near future.

Quiet, clean, comfortable beds and good breakfast (custom built omelette). Easy on/off I69 and Walking distance to Cracker Barrel. Can't comment on any amenities because we were just here for an unplanned overnight due to traffic. Would definitely stay here again.

Our rooms were very clean & comfortable. Tho the towels could have a little bit softer. The staff were very accommodating & professional. Very nice breakfast spread, free of charge, was offered in the am. The pool &n spa were very clean.

This hotel has been so wonderful. We couldn't live in our house over the weekend due to a pipe busting and causing a ton of damage. We came here and the staff was amazing. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. The breakfast was phenomenal. They even make made to order omelets at no additional charge! The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We even had friends come visit and my little ones were a little stir crazy and the staff was just supportive and made us few right at home. If anyone is looking for an enjoyable place to stay this is it!

The pool was great... nice touch with the little waterfall. The hot tub was spot on with the temp. There's a nice sized fitness center and the breakfast was worth it. The ham was juicy and coffee was hot. There's guest laundry if you need it. The staff was welcoming and the place is clean. Would stay here again any day. The only negative thing I have to say is that the casing around the door in the bathroom was off so the door wouldn't latch shut. It did stay closed. Wouldn't typically be a concern other than the fact my 1 year old kept trying to throw the pillows in while I was showering...

I was not impressed with my stay. It started at check in with room not ready after doing a late check in already to unfriendliness and confusion at the front desk. Room was not clean and coffee maker was so bad it couldnt be used. And to top it off never replaced.

We stay in BWs almost exclusively when we travel. Usually 1 night stays on our way to our destination. So when we were planning a NYE trip to the casino we were excited to find a best western close. The staff were amazing. We loved the Express check out. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Also they had an omelet bar for breakfast. The kitchen manager was making customized omelets to order and they were really good. We will stay here again.

Had a great stay. Will be back again. A 1 service. Food staff and hotel all excellent. Pet friendly environment . Would highly recommend for family or couples getting away for weekends. Close to casino and restaurants.

My husband & I had a wonderful stay here! We were here for two weeks whilst my husband had classes for his work. The room was clean, quiet, & the staff was great! The little things that I noticed; for example; the housekeeping noticed that we weren't drinking the decaf coffee, so the replaced all the decaf pods with regular coffee pods. The attention we recieved by things like that were greatly appreciated. The hot tub & pool were also very clean & enjoyable. We went down there almost every night! The front staff was also very kind & helpful! Every one that I had contact with was so nice! A special shout out to Courtney. . .nicest front desk person I've ever met. There was also a gentleman who I didn't get his name, but he was working afternoon shift, & was very nice!

This was a good choice for us. The room was very clean. The staff were excellent. The wifi was strong and the shower was nice and powerful. The breakfast buffet was good, with ham, sausages and eggs. This hotel punches above its weight. Definitely recommend.

I travel a lot for work and I almost decided to stop staying with BW because of a very bad stay in Stockton. However, this has renewed my faith in the company. Small things matter, and Miranda understands that.

If looking for a hotel to stay at you have found it! Right off the exit and lots of nearby stores and places to eat! We stay at the Best Western Plus every year during the Indiana Christian Youth Convention at Anderson University. This years stay was above and beyond excellent! From check-in to check out we had no problems! comfortable and clean rooms, great friendly staff and an EXCELLENT BREAKFAST! Dawn and Chelsea did great job keeping up with feeding all the hunger teens and other guest! and the Omelet Bar was Outstanding! Very Hot breakfast with bacon, eggs, sausage, waffles, Biscuits/Gravy, cereal, fruit and more!! This is a great place to stay and will always stay here when in Anderson! We left a few items in a couple rooms and Courtney even called us to let us know! No need to look at any other hotels in the area. This is the one you want!!

Best Western Plus in Anderson Indiana is an outstanding home away from home. Everyone on the staff that I have encounter to my many visits over the past 12 months has provided superb customer service. I have severe allergies and have experienced issues with obvious lack of good cleaning, but never at this Best Western Plus.

The check in was very smooth, the room was in perfect condition and was very quiet. The Breakfast was very complete - with eggs, sausage, hash brown potatoes very tasty sweet rolls and they even had biscuits and gravey.. quick check out, friendly staff. It was a very nice stay.

I really like this place. They really take pride in what they do. Everything is always working, clean and in good shape. I have stayed many times and I have never has an issue. The breakfast is above and beyond the popular Carbfest. It is really good with plenty of options.

So lets skip straight to breakfast - Chelsea - we got your back!!! Your omelets were the bomb! Best breakfast of any hotel I have been to in a long time! Bacon, sausage, patties or links, and ham every morning. REAL scrambled eggs, hash-brown casserole, plus waffles, oatmeal and all the standard items. Your whole staff was over the top friendly and helpful. I had a migraine when I got there and was given the royal treatment to a quick check in and some Tylenol. Thank you ( You know who you are) You were fantastic! It is a an older Best Western, with some overhaul done. Our room was clean, had a keurig and loved it! Our soccer team was all close to each other and they even helped us out with a conference room for the parents so we were able to talk and hang out. There were a few teams so we all needed our spaces. The pool and hot tub was enjoyed by all. I liked the beds felt soft like a memory foam and slept well. Sorry to the non soccer people staying, we tried to have the kids in there rooms by 9:30/10:00 every night - not sure which team or if all but last night there a little loud. We are sorry! The staff handled it very well. Would stay again. Thank you so much for a great stay and wonderful staff!! Best staff I have had the pleasure of at an hotel in quite a while!

We were returning from a trip and stopped at the Best Western in Anderson Indiana. The girls were very freindly when we checked in and worked with us to get the best price. The room was very clean and the bed was confortable. The highlight of the visit was their breakfast bar. My husband really enjoyed his made for him omelet.

When I travel my 3 top needs are Comfortable Beds, Clean sheets and pill (I don't like pillows that smell), and a friendly and accommodating staff. I was not disappointed here. This might not be a 5 star hotel but I was very happy and satisfied with my experience. The Staff went out of their way to be welcoming. The bed was comfortable and smelled clean. I could use the pillows without having to put a towel over them. Breakfast was free and sufficient. Everything I need when I am traveling. I would stay here again.

Went to Anderson to go to Hoosier Park Racetrack and Casino. Everything was great. Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful, pool area was nice, & breakfast was good. Courtney and Crystal were especially helpful. We were glad to see the improvements in the pool area since the last time we were there. We met a friend there and she had never stayed there before and she LOVED her room and the hotel overall. We will return.

Great place to grab some zZzs and relax. Comfortable beds and friendly people. Pet friendly and had a nice pool and spa area for winding down. The only thing that could have been better is location. Closer to Indy.

Very nice facility. Easy access to the highway. Beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were super clean. Breakfast was wonderful. Lots of hot choices. Staff was friendly and professional. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice and friendly. Right next door, in walking distance, a Cracker Barrel. Had a tremendous storm that knocked out their power but had back up power for AC and bathroom lights. The breakfast the next morning was still available...they made do without power they still put on a great breakfast. Everyone was very helpful and courteous! However, there was no checkout because of computers down.

A very nice Hotel with great location, close to Casino and not too far from Noblesville music center outdoor arena. Rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. Breakfast selection is good and Staff is very accommodating.

This Best Western hotel is evrything you would expect from a great hotel chain. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Bed was comfortable and soft yet firm pillows. Breakfast was lacking but ok. Will stay here again in the future.

Still, the room nicely sized and had all the amenities one expects. The staff was awesome they accommodated are need for a ground floor room. The hallways are the biggest I've ever seen in a hotel. And the rooms use RFID chip technology cards for access. This is something that I've never experienced before, but I really like those type of door keys. Breakfast was good the breakfast area was very large very open. We will stay at this hotel again. There is unfortunately one sore spot, and that is the enclosed pool. We stuck our noses briefly into the enclosed pool area and found it to be unpleasant. There was a strong smell of chlorine, and what I could only guess is mold. Had we had intentions of swimming, we would not have been able to do it.

We stayed here for 2 weeks during our annual trip to Anderson, IN and were so pleasantly surprised with our entire stay. Excellent breakfast choices, great indoor pool, spacious rooms, and several comfortable sitting areas throughout the hotel. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. We look forward to our extended stay again this year.

Good place to take a group. Staff was very helpful. Amenities were very good, especially the work out area. Clean and peaceful. Easy to get to the area food establishments and we also took our group bowling.

We stayed at the Best Western overnight before our daughter graduated from Anderson University. The hotel was clean for the most part. The room smelled fresh but there were hairs on the floor in the restroom and in the shower when we checked in. The beds were okay felt a little old. The breakfast was good. It was a really busy morning and the staff was doing their best to keep up with everyone. The staff was very friendly.

Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable but stops there. Two major flaws are the odor in the room is horrendous and the water for showers were luke warm at best for our two day stay. Did not have enough towels in the room for occupants. The staff are extremely pleasant and try there best for you but I don't know if it is inexperience or what, it is just not a well run hotel. Breakfast is awful. They have four staff members running it, the most I have ever seen of any hotel, yet they ran out of hot water, eggs, and yogurt, hard workers but not organized. The food is of low quality and flavourless

Stay in Anderson every year on my way to Indy room rates in the city are too high. This location gives me great access to downtown Anderson has great amenities. The hotel was clean and rooms were in great shape .I would definitely consider staying here again next year.

Clean, quiet and comfortable hotel. Travel a lot for business and these three things matter the most to me. This hotel fulfilled all three of these priorities. I will stay here in the future. Be careful when leaving the hotel due to the road conditions. Hit a large pothole and flattened the tire on the rental car. Of coarse this is not the hotels fault but, Indiana freeways are in terrible shape.

The internet was Very slow, Was told they were upgrading their system. The last time new stayed the internet was fine. Might be that they just changed owners. In addition only two papers are there for the amount of rooms they have rented. They expect the people to return the papers once they read them,. Again this property just changed ownership. Beds were greats and the staff they currently have are wonderful. Again they just changed ownership

We stayed here last year and were not disapointed again this year. It is a very nice place to stay by the casino or any other time for that matter considering the price range it falls into. They do about as nice a breakfast as you can expect for this level of motel.

We booked this hotel over several others because people said it was clean. There was hair in the shower, dust everywhere, and an unidentifiable substance on the curtain pulls. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The heat wouldn't turn off, they tried to charge us twice for our dog and the pool was down all weekend. We were told at the begining we would recieve a discount due to the problems and then denied one at check out. I've had better stays here.

This hotel was very nice. The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel itself was clean. The room was very nice, clean, quiet and with an extra comfortable bed! The self serve breakfast had many choices, was hot and really filled you up. I would recommend this hotel for a quick get away.

Very dissatisfied with my stay at this hotel. And from the looks of the most recent reviews, I am not alone. There was no hot water in the hotel. We were told it was because everyone was trying to shower at the same time. There is NO good reason for a hotel to be without hot water. I asked for a discount on my bill because of his and was treated very poorly by Terri at the front desk. I will not be visiting this hotel again, nor will recommend it to anyone. I will also be looking at anything other than a Best Western.

I will start with the positives...Breakfast was good, many hot items to choose from! Most of the staff we encountered was nice enough......Now the not so positives: when we arrived at 4:30pm we were checked into a dirty room, 3 rooms later we were settled in. The room was dirty, dirty, dirty....cobwebs in the corners, sticky stuff on the nightstand, phone was nasty as well as alarm clock. Head boards were not dusted, table with the desk blotter was not dusted as well. The Keuirg coffee maker was not cleaned either. There were no washcloths provided and there was toothpaste on the sliver shelf in the bathroom. The maintenance man was in house slippers and sweats and the housekeeper was also in a t shirt and sweatpants...Maybe it was casual day or something?? The elevator had a really bad body odor smell that seemed to get worse through the evening. The only person that was dressed appropriately and professional was the night shift guy. He was the only person during our stay that actually acted and carried himself in a professional manner. We asked for a late checkout and was given one, only to have housekeeping banging on our door at regular check out time, so the communication between front desk and housekeeping was apparently nonexistent. Also, the pool was closed...We have stayed here once in the past and it was a very nice and clean property. This time, not so much....Not sure what happened but we will be checking out other properties if we are ever in the area again.

I recently booked this hotel for a large youth sport group. Many of the parents had issues with their rooms from finding dog feces on the floor to have rooms double booked and either walking in a room to find someone already there or being woken up at 3am to someone trying to enter their room. We also had a family that had to switch rooms during their stay because they said the double queen room they booked was only available for Friday night. The next day they switched them to a different double queen room. Management was not available to address issues but lived in one of the first floor rooms and would come out frequently to smoke and talk with staff which where under orders to tell everyone that management was not available. The pool was closed and the workout room was unavailable because it was storage for many boxes of tvs. The hot water was hit and miss. Some people would have it one day or one shower but not the next.

We were in town for the State Dance Competition, and had drove over two hours to get there. When we pulled up there were not that many cars in the parking lot, so we knew not everyone had checked-in yet. It was only about 8:30 p.m. First thing we saw was a sign that the pool was closed when we walked-in, which was all the kids were looking forward to. When I told the girl at the front desk I had reservations she informed me that they were overbooked. I thought she misunderstood me, so I explained that we had reservations and my room was already previously paid for on Hotels.com . She informed me that they were overbooked, and that the Comfort Inn might have rooms available down the road, so I could try down there. When I asked about my money that I had already spent on the room she said all she could do was take my name and number down and give it to her manager on Monday. (This was on a Friday) When I asked if they were going to pay for the hotel room at the other hotel since this was their mistake, she said no. When I asked for contact information for a manager she would not offer me any so I was able to call on Monday either. All she would give me was his name was Collin. I was luckily able to get a room at the Comfort Inn, and the front desk clerk there was extremely helpful and nice. She had numerous guests that evening that had to come over from the Best Western Plus because they had the same thing happen to them. She also informed us that the pool at the Best Western Plus has been closed for over a year, and they were not letting people know ahead unfortunately. Even though the Comfort Inn needed some updates, I would much rather stay there with excellent customer service than the Best Western Plus, which had horrible service! My husband also was meeting us at the hotel later that evening and didn't arrive until around 1 a.m., and he said that when he came in their hotel was packed at the Best Western Plus. I want to know how they were able to pick and choose who got a room and who didn't. Especially when my room was already paid for, and others only held theirs with credit cards. I have still yet to get a refund or phone call from my reservation when I was not able to stay, and am still trying to get it back through Hotels.com, who is trying to dispute it with the hotel themselves now. I have sent over my confirmation information and banking information as proof that the money came out of my account.

Dog crap in our room upon check in. No hot water. Pool was closed. Hotel had a terrible odor. The staff did not do their best to ensure customer satisfaction. Overall, it was a horrible stay! There were multiple complaints from our group that stayed. Extremely disappointing!!

I try to find the best in stays but this location leaves much to be desired. Poorly staffed and under trained. Common to hear guests and staff complaining. Not surprisingly, no manager was on duty near check out time. Plenty of excuses were given for their “new” managers, who should have been addressing the multitude of issues various members of our large group experienced instead of being MIA. Our coffee make produced yellow water with lots of black speck (see picture). Public coffee area was always dirty. Beds were hard. Old/used products were left in the bathroom (see picture of used/old hand cream). Both the pool and gym were out of order. Pool had been out of order when we booked but were not notified. Our large group had booked months ahead and they were not ready for us. They even sent a new guest to an occupied room at 5am. The food on the breakfast was fresh from the freezer (food had to be microwaved to get to an acceptable temp) and their yogurt fridge was empty both days. I paid with a gift card but they had problems processing, so I have a small balance that I can't use, as I have no desire to ever visit a Best Western again.

Got there a little late but they still had a few rooms, room was clean and comfortable, ice machine area was being remodeled but they went out of the way to provide ice at nite and in the morning! Quiet and easy access, good value!

Of course, we only stayed one night, but it was still enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable. The coffeemaker was great to have in the room, but location was a bit weird. A nightlight by coffeemaker would have helped so as to see unit, but not disturb persons still sleeping. The free breakfast was very good, and the staff was great. We had a small problem with room phones, but that didn't infringe us in any way.

Traveling on business and stayed for the night. Hotel was very clean, nice check in staff. Hotel bed was comfy, slept well with minimum noise. Great place with good pricing Bathroom clean had everything I needed. I would stay again!

I am beyond words with my experience at your Bestern Western location in Anderson, Indiana. My girlfriend and I stay at the Best Western because it is the only hotel in Anderson that allows pets and I have an 11 week old puppy and a 1.5 year old dog. We unfortunately had to visit Anderson on Saturday Jan. 6th because my father passed away that morning. We checked in, went to our room to find the TV on and turned to the side...thought nothing of it and spent the day with my family. We came back to our room emotionally drained at approximately 11:30 PM. Let the dogs out of their crate to burn some energy before bed. At about 12:30AM. We noticed our 11 week old puppy had something in his mouth. We pried it out to find a quarter sized black bag with some white powder on the outside of it. We had to cut it open to see what we had to worry about and sure enough it looked like a bag of cocaine or some illicit drug. I don't know if this was a former guest's drugs that wasn't found when the room was improperly cleaned or an employee that hides it in a room. If an 11 week old Beagle can reach it, it was definitely floor level. If he would of penetrated the bag or if our older dog found it one or both of them would more than likely be dead. These dogs are our children, but what if an actual child found it? So at 1AM my girlfriend and I are now worried about whether or not our dog will make it through the night, after just spending the whole day mourning my father. We took the substance and turned it on to the front desk manager. I felt the concern, but didn't feel as much empathy as I could have for the situation. Our new room had a bed that was severely broken but we ignored it since it was just the two of us and we didn't want to move the dogs yet again at such a late hour. We got a receipt for $0 in the morning, which I appreciate and was just going to ignore the negligence of the situation. Then 3 days later I checked my account and noticed a charge for $88.47. This was not a pending charge it was posted. It appears that you can poison my dog, give me a second room that is extremely subpar and decide a $50 discount is a fair trade. I called and spoke with someone at the Anderson Best Western, explained the situation and she giggled and said I heard about that. I told her this is not a laughing matter, she could not tell me about the charges. We are now waiting for her to talk to someone else about the charge. Never stay here or at any Best Westerns.

Nice size rooms with standard amenities. Bed cover was inadequate and there were no blankets in the room. Couldn't get to the Internet to print tickets. Good breakfast, but hours weren't great for leisure travelers.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus for a night as we are traveling further south...... it was very clean..... staff was pleasant.... and our two dogs were accepted with no problem ...... we also have a large RV of which they accommodated us with no issue..... our only issue... “plus” in our experience of which we have stayed at many.... usually has a bar/ restaurant on site ... because after a long day of driving to not have to go anywhere is so nice.....but this one does not have either.......... we therefore called a cab and went elsewhere for dinner and a cocktail....cab drivers were excellent but waiting 35 minutes kind if took away the experience......

Great Stay! Staff Was very helpful and Polite! Good breakfast! Great location right off interstate with plenty of fast food and finer dinning close by. We have stayed at this hotel several years with a group of teenagers for a convention.

When I first pulled into the parking lot I thought about cancelling my reservation and going to one of the other hotels in the area. I have a BW card though and thought I would give it a shot. The outside and parking area look a little rundown, but when I went inside I was pleasantly surprised. They have a very nice reception area with a large sitting room adjacent with a TV and plenty of seating. There is a fireplace, but it was not on when I was there. My room was recently updated and clean. It had a fridge, micro, and a mini Kuerig coffee maker. You could tell this hotel was older, but they have done a nice job with it. The window even opened for those that like fresh air as I do. The hot breakfast was excellent and the hostess was friendly and really took pride in her area.

This will be our go to place when we are in this area. Have stayed at another motel in town and no comparison for the same money. Very clean. Terry and Theresa the desk clerks, are very friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable. While it is convenient to the interstate it is located far enough away that you don't have interstate traffic noise. Pretty typical hotel chain breakfast but it was good.

We were in town for a college meeting for my son. Many hotels to choose from in the area. Did not pick the cheapest nor the most expensive, middle of the road at about 110 a night for a room. Let's start with the lumpy old mattress's, when I say lumpy that does not even begin to give you an idea of what these were. Then let's move on to the hot tub which is actually a cold tub because their is no heater for it. And my personal favorite was the two bugs not spiders or ants but something big crawling across the bathroom floor while I'm in the tub. Topped of with the moldy smell and it earned our new name for it "The Worst Western:" Please do not stay here.

Usually when overnighting in Indy on business trips (about once per week) - I stay in the Carmel area.. During a recent week in October however - the FFA National Convention was in town and when my office was online looking to book a room - my secretary advised me there was NOTHING available - so I ended up in the Best Western in Anderson for 2 nights... not the most convenient - but as I was shuttling back and forth between Indy and Ft. Wayne for 3 days - actually Anderson (about 30 minutes north of Carmel/Fishers/N. Indy) worked out well.. I was pleasantly surprised at the BWP - although check in did take MUCH too long... the lady at the desk was nice and efficient enough - but she had no back up - and I had to wait while she checked in 4 other guests at about 6:30 PM - note to hotel managers... I am sure you don't want to overstaff as man hours are expensive - but NOBODY wants to wait 30 minutes between front door and walking into the room... ugh.. have some help available for your desk staff! location was convenient enough for car travel - about 1 minute drive off I69 - several restaurant choices within 1 mile.. Other than the check-in glitch however - I was happy - rooms were large, clean, updated and QUIET! the heat in the room felt great on the first really COLD night of the fall.. amenities in the room were good, including quality of toiletries and the Keurig K-cup coffee maker available - the TV remote was even in a cloth bag (stating it was) "freshly cleaned" - a nice touch... TV, fridge, iron, microwave..no issues There was a nice indoor pool on site and the hot-tub feels great at the end of a long day... Common areas were clean/modern and hot breakfast standard/good... All in all - not a 5 star resort on Capri by any means - but perfectly good for business or family travel in the Midwest... recommended..

Very disappointed as Preferred Members to not get checked in until 5:30. Set back our plans to meet up with friends at the Races. The room was ok but coffee maker didn't work and shower curtain falling down. Luckily we were on 1st floor because the elevator wasn't working.

This hotel does not deserve Best Westerns *plus " rating. We have stayed here numerous times over the last 5 years and it is not as nice as it was a few years ago. The swimming pool and hot tub were again not working. The shower diverter valve was not functional and chair and stool fabric were stained badly. The mattress bottomed out and needs replacement. No fresh fruit was available for breakfast. It is just off the interstate so ask for a room on the backside. We have stayed in better BWs that did not have the "plus" designation.

We have stayed at this location a few times over the last few years and have had a pleasant stay each time. The rooms are always clean & comfortable. There are several good restaurants close by, some within walking distance, and it's a convenient shuttle ride to the Hoosier Park Casino!

Stayed here the end of September for a dog event in New Castle. Our experience was good all the way around from being able to snag the only rollaway bed available, to a nice hot breakfast buffet each morning with all the usual fare. Terry at the front desk was especially kind and helpful during the day, as was Jasmine in the evening. Housekeeping kept things nice and tidy for our 4 day stay and parking was convenient and well lit at the wee hours of the morning. The beds were comfy and fresh. The only minor complaint and this is no fault of the hotel itself, was that the bathrooms were super small. The tub/toilet area was fine, but there was almost no counter top around the separate sink area with no place to put thing. Other than that the room was nicely appointed, plenty of room to set things in the main bed area and nice furnishings. Bonus: A Cracker Barrel next door. Never been to one before being from California, but I know understand the Cracker Barrel Cult. I'd definitely stay here again, especially since they allow dogs.

close to Hoosier Park. Hotel room was very clean, all the staff members were friendly and went out of their way to greet people. The hot breakfast was wonderful. A lot of variety and food area was clean and neat.

Everyone was curtious and helpful. What a great place to stay!!The breakfast was great and the fitness room was awesome!! So were the laundry facilities!! If you are traveling I would recommend staying at a Best Western Plus!!

Nice clean quiet cozy hotel. Not far from the interstate. Easy in and out. Very friendly staff nice clean rooms. Staff really tries to make sure that every thing is perfect for your stay. If in the area, I will try to stay there

Had reservations for a double queen room and after driving for hours arrived at our stopover for the night. We were told when we arrived that our room was upstairs and the elevator was broken. My 89 year old mother who uses a walker could not walk upstairs. They had one room downstairs with one bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was stained and filthy and the mattress was literally 2 inches thick. My husband decided to pay for a second room upstairs which had a king size bed with a broken mattress. I understand the owner wants to make a profit but this hotel is really bad and needs 1. Elevators to work. 2. Mattresses that are not broken 3. Couches and chairs aren't stained and disgusting. I don't normally write negative reviews...I usually only write reviews abut positive experiences but this was just a bad hotel and needs improving. I'll probably never choose a Best Western again.

The hotel is very dated and shows wear. The commode had dried urine on it. One bed fell off its frame when a person set on it. Lighting is poor in the room and the laboratory area. Bed is lumpy. No TV guide to channels.

There was food in the refrigerator as soon as we got to our room, the light as you enter did not work and the toilet barely flushed!! The front desk associate was helpful and professional. she was very good.....

Disappointed at check in and continuing. The desk person was not friendly, but did say the elevator was out of order. The room was so, so with cracked grout in the bathroom floor. The good thing we only need one bed, because the second queen bed is broken. There large bugs on inside of the window, so l closed the curtains and the bugs stayed on the window. Then I went to sit on the desk chair and found a skid mark on the chair. I took soap and a towel to clean the skid mark. There is only one ice machine and that is on the first floor, remember the elevator is broken. When I was taking my trip to the ice machine, I was an older couple with suitcases looking for the elevator. I guess the desk clerk forgot to tell them about the broken elevator. Now, I still have breakfast to look forward to, I don't have a lot of hope for anything good, so at l sat I won't be disappointed.

Have you seen the episode where Jerry goes to pick up his rental car that he had a reservation for....and there was no car? " Ohhh.... so you have no problem Taking the reservation, but your not so good Holding the reservation!?" Booked and paid for reservation months ago through Trip Advisor.... Called before I left Illinois to confirm.....arrived at noon and was informed the room would not be ready until 3:00 pm.. I said "how about 5:00 pm?" She said OK. We arrived at 6:00 pm and were told that they had no rooms and their manager was calling to book us a room at another hotel....and refund my money... We were sent to a very low quality location....I won't mention until we are in a safe place.... Very disappointed

The hotel would be fine, except in room 220 there were bedbugs and I had to move to another room. I would've moved to another hotel if any were available. There was a plastic bag like wrapper around the mattress too, so I wonder if they knew about the bedbugs and put me in that room anyway?

We were here 4 nights. Nice, large, quiet rooms. Good bed. Helpful Staff. Easy access to the interstate and lots of Restaurants in the area. The Breakfast included with your room was a notch above the normal. Hot food first morning was a choice of ham, sausage, eggs, sausage gravy and waffles your usual sweet rolls, bread, biscuits, dry cereal, yogurt etc. Pricing was a good value for the amenities.

Spent the weekend down in Anderson for a family trip. First impression of the hotel gave a calm feeling. When we first walked in it was ELEGANT! For us it was top notch at a low price! Room keys work excellent, room was clean, very cute decor and was provided with a "Fresh remote"! To our famiy, it felt like a 5 star hotel for a 3 star price. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for your reservations

This is a very new and nice hotel with good rooms and attractive areas. Was clean and very quiet. Only problem we experienced was elevators not working and we are second floor. Would stay here again and hope elevators are fixed.

Very nice hotel with appropriate upkeep, but the customer service on behalf of the staff was less than great, not even good at best. I work at a Best Western in KY and even arrived in my uniform to check in... that didn't seem to phase their lackluster greeting and their body language. There was an older lady at the front desk and a housekeeper behind the desk on the computer. Neither one greeted us, although I was the first to say hello... I mentioned my BWR and she seemed annoyed that she had to go to the hassle of more steps on the computer... She left a bad taste in my mouth and I was very disappointed in her "front desk/first impression" appearance - wearing a hoodie and hair didn't look like she cared about her appearance. No smile, no positivity. Maybe we caught her on a bad day, so I'll give her benefit of the doubt. Otherwise, rooms were nice and breakfast was enjoyable.

The staff was so helpful. Cannot say thank you enough. The breakfast was great. I also enjoyed the fitness room. The hotel was very clean. Everything was nice and neat. I was able to bring my Yorkie for a small fee. Which help with this trip tremendously.Thanks Best Western Plus.

The pool is filthy. The hot tub is taped off and has mold at the bottom. An employee told us it's been like that for 11 months at least. She knew it was like that and still let us in. I stuck my toe in the water and couldn't even see it. The water was freezing. The was was a nasty green foggy color. Totally not able to swim in. Really bad WiFi, and water pressure in the shower. Lazy staff as well. Super disappointed...

Enjoyed our stay. The only thing that could have been an issue was that on a couple of the conference attendees rooms, the deadbolt did not work. They did not have our reservation, but I had my confirmation number and was able to get a room.

Didn't stay at this hotel, however, I feel like there was bait and switch. I searched for two rooms, found them, but only one booked. Then searched again price went up, tried to book, no more at that price.

We love Best Western Plus we couldn't imagine doing anywhere else it was a wonderful experience and we will most definitely come back again it was wonderful I absolutely love the people there and the breakfast is amazing

Not matching toilet seat with toilet, bathtub faucet very loose, wall shelf by song was about to come off the drywall. Pool too much chemicals, hot tub was broken. The staff were helpful but these unresolved maintenance issues left a bad memory of the hotel in general.

The customer service at this hotel makes it easy to overlook that the rooms could use a little updating. The front desk was friendly and professional. This team deserves a raise. When I arrived at 4p (check in is at 3p), some of the rooms weren't ready, including mine. The staff was apologetic and made every effort to make the guests comfortable, while they waited. My family lives in the area and I will choose to stay here again and again because of the staff.

Very clean rooms. Staff very helpful, courteous and attentive to our needs. Room was ready at check-in time. Didn't require housekeeping second day but the housekeeping staff saw us in the hallway and asked if there was anything they could get us. Left before breakfast second day and desk clerk offered coffee, juice and fruit to take with us. We wouldn't stay anywhere else when we travel to Anderson.

We were attending an event in Indianapolis. The hotel is older. Areas are not modern. Our room was clean and everything worked properly. The breakfast was good and the attendant even started the breakfast early to accommodate. The front desk person was cold and almost rude to a member of our travelling party. There is a Cracker Barrel in the parking lot adjoining this property and many restaurants within driving distance.

This hotel is family friendly and business Friendly. The rooms are cozy and clean. The breakfast was good. With lots of choices. Had ham and eggs. Sausage party's and potatoes. There is a pool and nice work out facility. Overall yes will add this to my future stay list.

Tile was broken in bathroom and drywall had water damage from no caulk to seal water out. The bed was a little to hard, but room was very nice. The breakfast was quit the display of items. Very good and worth the stay.

pet friendly room but had to share with two cockroaches!!! We needed to bring our dog to the area. We selected the highest rated motel with a pet friendly room or we thought. We got to the motel tired around 8 pm and killed our first cockroach at 9 pm. Would have left then but too late so we made sure our bags we zipped and up on the dressers. Never again!

do not stay here unless you check it out first. The pool and hot tub were very bad. The television service was not good and the internet worked only intermittently. The staff were aware of these problems and couldn't or wouldn't do anything to fix them.

We were disappointed because after check in, we found out the hot tub was out of order and the swimming pool was freezing-almost unusable. Also, side door to the hotel doesn't close properly so no card swipe needed-anyone can walk in. Tried to bring up concerns with front desk but manager wasn't available in the evening. In the morning, the front desk person was on the phone each time I checked and then we finally just left. Mattress wasn't particularly comfortable, but room was ok. Noticed areas of the hotel with water damage, etc. Looks like it needs a little attention. Would try a different hotel if we came back.

Nice place for the price. The breakfast was not as good as other Best Western hotels. But a nice clean place with a nice clean pool! Close to interstate and other places to eat. Close to Indianapolis so you can stay a less expensive hotel.

Our family reunion was hosted in Anderson, IN this year and several family members from througout the country stayed at this location. There was another reunion, as well as a church group and this location the same weekend. Throughout the weekend the hotel consistently ran out of clean towels, housekeeping never cleaned the rooms on the 2nd floor (although their carts sat on the floor from 9a-5p) on one day, fitness center equipment malfunctioned almost causing injury, among several other things. I mentioned a few of these issues with the manager when I checked out, she took $50 off of my $200+ total and I was told due to a completely booked weekend, these things were to be expected. I will not stay at this, or possibly any other Best Western again.

Very friendly staff. Need a few fixer upper issues noted pertaining to rooms etc. Staff did a great job assisting with an early arrival and late departure. My bed fell off the support system, internet connectivity was a bit of an issue, missing iron in the room when I got there. Breakfast area was very warm to sit an eat. Fruit needs to be fresh!!

We stayed here on 2 occasions recently on a trip south. The first stay, was on 6/29/17. We checked in around 10pm and the employee was somewhat friendly but very short with me. We were given a room at the end of the hall on the 1st floor and told the door on the side if the building would be easiest for us to enter. I was NOT told that if I wanted to get to that door that I had to go OUT of the parking lot and park in the back of the restaurant next door. Being as it was just my teen daughter and I traveling, I opted to park in from of the hotel entrance and walk the halls as a safer option. We were placed directly next to the stairs and heard a lot of noise all night long as stairs are open in the main hallway directly outside our door. We chalked it up to 1 night of noise and decided to give the place a 2nd chance on our trip back north 2 weeks later. On 7/15 We checked In around 9:30pm and this time the employee was NOT very friendly and seemed very put out by the line of people requesting towels since there were none in the pool and none in their rooms. I asked to use the rewards points we had accumulated and was told she had to deal with printing thst and to come back later to sign papers. At this time I also stated thst we did NOT want to be near the stairs and would prefer to be upstairs as it was just myself and daughter and we would prefer NOT to be on the main floor. I was then told that because we had a small dog (under 10lbs and was completely diapered during stay) we could not be placed upstairs. I then specifically asked thst if we can not be upstairs that we be placed away from the stairs. She told me "I put you on the other side". We get to the room and it is NEXT TO THE FIRST ROOM AT THE BOTTOM OF THE STAIRS!!! I was so frustrated and tired from a long day of driving and hauling in our items that I did not fight this. After finally getting settled in the room and ready to call it a night, the carbon monoxide detector begins beeping loudly for new batteries. I call the front desk for maintenance and am told that she doesn't know where the new batteries are kept and we would have to wait until the night maintenance man arrived for the night to fix it. This was about a half hour later at 11:30pm. Finally done and ready to sleep but there must have been a party upstairs because there was constant stomping all night long!! As we went to leave in the morning there were 2 employees at the front desk when we walked out, neither of which even looked up at us much less said anything to us. We did kill 1 large bug in the room and many small nats flying around the bathroom area. We refused to use the shower after seeing how dirty and disgusting the back side of the shower liner was. Looked like it hadn't been changed or washed in at least 2 months. I think this place needs some better training in a few areas of customer service and cleanliness. We stayed in other hotels on our trip for lower rates that were much friendlier and cleaner. And FYI to management, if a woman is travelling alone or with another woman, it's standard practice to NOT place them on the 1st level of the hotel. 2nd floor is safer and denying this request is poor practice. I advice anyone looking for a hotel to check around. There are many other options in that same area.

We wanted to avoid the pricey hotels near the Klipsch Music venue. This was maybe 15 minutes away and when we took the backroads we got into the Legacy parking without any trouble. Took us longer to walk to the car after the concert than to get out of the parking lot. Great experience

This was by far the most enjoyable stay at a hotel I have ever had. I will go out of my way to stay at a Best Western Plus whenever I travel. Would recommend anyone staying in Anderson, IN to stay here.

I have stayed here a few times but this was not so good. I didn't lock the door and 2 employees walked in without knocking. The bed was located with the air conditioner blowing right across it which made it hard to sleep. You either got to hot or to cold

We stayed at Best Western Plus inn anderson. The hotel itself was nice, but our room air conditioner sounded like a jet engine and it barely cooked the room. I had ear plugs in and it still kept me awake all night. The hotel was sold out so we couldn't get another room. Hotel staff couldn't seem to care less. I won't stay at this hotel and I'd recommend that you stay away too.

Clean comfortable hotel easy to get to and close to a dozen good eating places. Bathrooms a little tight. But they have done a lot of upgrades. They seemed to be tight on shampoo soap and wash clothes. But a good experience and would recommend this place. We were there for 4 nights

Great stay overall. Enjoyed the hot tub, nice breakfast, very comfortable bed. Walking distance to many restaurants. Will definitely stay again . NIce hotel for the price.. I even booked a 2nd day while I was there.

It's been a while since I've stayed at Best Western (changed their points policy in the early 2000's so I left) but the location and price were right and they fixed their points program around 2010 so I gave them a try, and I'm glad I did. It was everything I remember liking about BW and they are now back on my list of hotels to check and use. A wonderful property with great service and a good breakfast.

Convenient location to I69 and casino. Very helpful, friendly staff. Breakfast was nicer than most. Easy, free parking. We stayed in a two room suite and the bedroom was a little cramped but not uncomfortable.

I would look for a nicer place to stay te next time in Anderson, IN. The maid service needs improving. Didn't make beds, vacuum, clean on days 2 and 3 of our 3 day stay. Tv not working in living area. Bathroom floor needs updating.. Toilet too low for Seniors. Plastic seat was wiggly.

This hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly. Good breakfast with plenty of hot and cold options. The guest rooms are spacious. My son will be going to college at Anderson University, and we will definitely stay at this hotel again when visiting.

the hotel is great have stayed here many times the staff is so wonderful its nice and quite get a great night sleep they have a wonderful breakfast there are lots of restaurants close by the hotel with lots of food choice and stores if you need to pick up something

We booked this trip like a month ago for a family vacation and seen this hotel was a good rating so we tried it and when we checked in and got to the room we noticed there was candy wrappers on the floor still and also there were no hand towels or wash clothes nor extra bedding sheets. Was not happy when we had to ask the check in lady 2 times for the stuff because she was too worried about talking to a friend of hers and not taking care of us.

Ask to make sure all beds are new (For comfort reasons). I am a previous hip surgery patient along with slight scoliosis issues. Beds are #1 concern for me. Unfortunately our room had older mattresses and discomfort for me.

It is time again for the Indianapolis 500 so that means we are back in Anderson, Indiana and our annual visit to Best Western Plus. As last year, and a number of year prior, we were very happy with our room and the service provided by the Best Western staff. We will be back next year before we go to the 2018 Indy 500.

Pet friendly is why we chose this location. Very clean with excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Only problem broken air conditioner. Too tired to move rooms. Reported when we left. Will plan on staying here again

Very helpful and courteous staff. Room & furnishing clean & comfortable. Would stay here again if in area. Shuttle service to & from casino was a plus for us. Breakfast was similar to other free breakfast we have had. It was well tended & tasteful.

Great place to stay with a dog. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was nice and clean with a nice pool and hot tub. A restaurant is within walking distance. It's easy to get on and off expressway.

We had a large group stay for an event. The staff was very accommodating to our needs. They went out of there way to make a small issue right. We have stayed here before and the service is what made us use this property again.

Traveling South for spring break and didnt want to stay in big city hotel. Price was reasonable, pet friendly and clean. Great breakfast in morning.Staff was Friendly. Room was clean. Would spent the night here again

1. reserved a King room, got to the room and it was a double. 2. There was food in the fridge from whoever had the room before us. 3. It was a two night stay, and our room did not get made up in-between days. We had to go down to the front desk to get fresh towels. 4. Now the big one, The car next to us in the parking lot had a four tires stolen over night.

Thankfully we only had to spend one night at this hotel during our recent visit to Anderson, IN. We stayed several miles away in another hotel but had to move to the Best Western Plus on our last day. First I'd like to say that the front desk clerk was extremely friendly. This is supposedly a non- smoking hotel but it clearly is NOT. Our room absolutely wreaked of stale smoke. It was AWFUL! We used two travel sized bottles of Febreeze. We woke up at 3 AM and felt sick from the strong odor. The carpet was filthy in the room and there was also a nice layer of dust along the top of the drapes, and dirty cobwebs on the ceiling in the bathroom. The bathroom sink was so tiny we just left everything in our toiletry bag. It was also poorly lit. Never again. I admit to being a very particular traveler, more picky than most, but I don't think any non smoker would be able to handle the smell. I'm not even sure a smoker would like it. Also the TV kept going out. The hotel was completely sold out for a bowling tournament at the casino and there was also a Prince tribute the night before. The kuerig coffee maker, fridge and microwave were nice though.

We arrived very late and only stayed 1 night. One of the beds was not stationary and we had to have the front desk person come up to get it set back on its base. And then there were stink bugs. (Blister bugs as some people call them). We were able to get rid of 2. The following morning one of our party was stung/bitten by one. The bathroom needs to be upgraded. A very musty smell in the toilet / shower area. Floor tile grout crumbling. The beds were ok. Easy to find and next door to a Cracker Barrel.

Overall this hotel experience was very similar to hotels charging $50 more per night. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Service personnel were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who's is budget conscience but still want a relaxing experience.

My sister & I decided to just get away from all the stress, and drama in real life for a couple days. I booked the room knowing nothing about it, just the few reviews I had read. We arrived early evening, lobby always gives me an idea of a place. it was clean, and the young man behind the counter was very nice. Got to our room first impression was very nice, we were close to the pool area, and the maids work area. Truthfully it was pretty quiet. We decided to spend 2 nights, so we went to the lobby and booked an additional night. The breakfast they served was wonderful. eggs,bacon,ham,sausage,waffles,cold cereal, yogurt, toast, ect. The pool & spa area was nice, that I seen no one else took advantage of it, we had the whole place to ourselves. pool water was cold, but the spa was wonderful. Now I do have to mention the negative along with all the positives, this is just to hopefully help to improve a little. We had some trouble with the heat/ac unit, just could not keep a consistent temperature in the room. I watch a lot of Gordon Ramsey, latest show motel hell. So I ran my finger inside the slats of the unit and yep it was filthy and dusty, probably why it was not working efficiently. Which brought me to check the tops of the beds and pictures, sadly the maids are a tad sloppy in their cleaning, lots of just surface cleaning. But like I said overall a pretty nice place to stay.

We booked this hotel for our bowling team for State Tournament. The room was nice, with plenty of room to lounge around in. One of my friends and I retreated to the common area for some late night drinks and talk, and were bothered a bit by the pool guests who were a little rambunctious. The desk clerk, Emily came right out and put a stop to the disturbance. Shortly after a little boy decided it was a prime time to try out his remote control car in the hallway. Once again, Emily came to our rescue and shut down the impromptu Daytona 500 as well. Upon checking out , the morning clerk, Ken asked how the stay was, and we informed him of our late night misadventures. He apologized and gave us a discount on our room! BTY, the breakfast buffet was one of the better ones I've seen with anything you could want. We will stop back to see Emily and Ken again!

Overall the stay was nice. There was a smell to the room like it hadn't been used in awhile. I thought we had booked a king size room but ended up with a handicap room although there was a lot of room in the bathroom I didn't care for the shower having to use a handheld shower head.

My husband and I stayed there for 5 nights. On day three I put away all of our personal items and went to the front desk and asked the guy behind the desk if they could change all the linens. He said absolutlely and there was also a maid there and she said of course. !! When I returned to my room later that day the beds were made but noticed the pillow cases and sheets were very wrinkled. They didn't know that there was a nosebleed the night before and there was one drop of blood on pillow and one drop of blood on top sheet. Much to my chagrin the blood drops were still on the "changed linens". Also the first thing we saw when we arrived at the hotel that spoke volumes was that there was a round toilet seat on an oval toilet. about 3 inches of porcelain was sticking out under the plastic seat..this screams.."we don't care"..before we checked into the hotel we asked the clerk alot of questions about the room and it being cleaned and all..unfortunately I don't believe anything she told us. There also seems to be a shortage of towels. When we have stayed at other motels for a length of time they stock us up with plenty of towels..we had to ask for towels and washcloths every single day and it was like pulling teeth to have them come..we even had to ask twice a couple of times. The breakfast was ok, they did have a few healthy choices. The entry way into the pool had a very strong smell of smoke..bathroom in pool was dirty at 11:00 in the afternoon. We won't be staying here again and I don't advise any of our friends to stay there because obviously someone has a problem with telling the truth.

It's an average property, nothing to distinguish it. Breakfast choices are few, but for a quick sleep and a clean room, this will do. The pool was closed and the area around the pool reeked of chlorine. The ashtrays are right outside the doors, not adhering to the 8 foot state law, so every entrance smelled of smoke. When we entered, there were two staff at the desk, too preoccupied to acknowledge us. But once we got checked in, it was an okay stay. There are better hotels in the area.

The hotel is comfy, clean and conveniently located. Their breakfast offerings have a lot if variety: make-your-own waffles, eggs and bacon and ham, brand name yogurt, many breads, two kinds of coffee. Great for kids: everyone can find something to make then happy.

We stayed two separate times here - once on the way to St. Louis and then on the way home. The first time our air conditioner/heater was very noisy and we told the front desk on the way out. When we returned we were given the same room and were told that it had been replaced. We discovered that it was and worked well. Nice job! The rooms are well insulated and were comfortable with a King bed, refrigerator, microwave and Kuerig coffee maker. Be sure to request the 2nd floor (only a 2 story) so you won't be by the pool or lobby/breakfast area. The breakfast was very tasty. We would stay here again!

After leaving Hampton Inn because there was not a whirlpool at the pool, as listed on the hotel's website, I came to this hotel. The desk clerk at check in was very nice. Once i checked in I found a cheaper price for the room. I called down and asked if they had a price match guarantee. She said, "no". But asked what price I found. Then she said, "I can do that for you". Nice, easy way to show good customer service! The whirlpool was hot enough to work up a sweat after 10 minutes or so. Although I would have liked it a little hotter. I did not eat the breakfast. But I did take a look before leaving, so I could write about it. It looked GREAT. Hot, fresh scrambled eggs. Big pieces of ham, along with bacon, and sausage. Sausage gravy and biscuits. Breads, yogurt, juice machine, etc. This was on a Sunday morning. I don't know if it is the same through the week. The "bad" things...While in the pool area I noticed a chunk of ceiling missing. They had put up plastic using 1x4" wood. But part of the plastic had pulled out. This can cause mold pretty quickly. I went to use the phone in the pool area to let the front desk know I used the last towel (at about 4pm. It should have been full of towels for the others guest sure to use the pool that night.) The phone was dead. BIG issue if there was a medical emergency. I walked to the front desk. She said they knew about it, but didn't know the problem. The room had a light bulb out in the bathroom. Not a big deal. There was also a crusty, white substance that showed up easily on the end of the dark red circular throw pillow. Just a few more examples showing that they are not looking to make the hotel an "excellent" place to stay. The bed was very firm. But I slept well.

All aspects of our stay were good. Room condition, business center computers, bed comfort, large, flat screen TV. Breakfast exceeded our expectations. For hot items they had bacon, sausage and ham, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits and make your own Belgium waffles. I thought the nightly rate we paid was on the high end, however. Considering the location, Anderson, IN, I thought the nightly rate should have been about $20.00 less than we paid.

I stayed at this Best Western Plus while doing some training for work. The room seemed ok but my bathtub had a bandaid stuck to the bottom of it. The roof in the pool area was caving in with water damage. The channel list they had for the TV didn't even come close to accurate with hundreds of unavailable channels. I was here for 3 days and the wifi was not working the entire time of my stay. The bed was comfy and the breakfast was adequate. Overall not a very good experience.

This is an older hotel, but clean. Could use some updating. Staff were friendly and check in was easy. The hotel is easy to get to and is right next door to a Cracker Barrel. It is located about 5 minutes from the casino, which is why we picked it.

I recently spent a night at this hotel. Check in was friendly and efficient. The room was very spacious and inviting. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast the next morning was good, although there was some difficulty in keeping the selections filled. The entire staff was very accommodating. I would give this hotel a five, except it is not that well marked unless you have gps. I finally saw a sign well up in the air marking its location. I would stay here again, especially now that I know where it is!!

We were in town for a family reunion. Got to the hotel late and saw a plumbing truck out front pumping water out into the parking lot. I knew that couldn't be good and it wasn't. They had a burst in the main water line and the water was turned off. Went ahead and checked in and went to bed. Was told the water problem would be fixed by 8:00 A.M. Got up the next morning and still no water. Pluming truck was still there. Went to our cousins and cleaned up for the day. They kept telling us to check out and stay with them but I didn't want to put them out. Went back over around noon to get some things out of the room. Now there is no water or power. They found out there was electrical lines down in the water. Was able to find my room with the flashlight on my phone. They were cleaning the room so I got what I needed and left. After several hours of discussing this we were convinced to go ahead and check out. When I got back there my keys wouldn't work. The manager reprogrammed them twice and they still wouldn't work. She came up and got us in the room. We gathered everything up and told them we were checking out. She gave us the managers business card and told us to contact her about our bill and they showed us checking out. I waited a couple weeks for the dust to settle and contacted them. They were very friendly and refunded the entire amount of our stay. I want to add that they were friendly throughout the entire experience and had bottled water available for anyone who wanted it. This is just something that happened. No ones fault so I don't want to give them a bad review because of it. They did everything they could under the circumstances.

Stayed here for a week on business and it's a nice hotel, but could stand a bit of upgrades! The room and carpet is pretty outdated. The carpet was a bit dirty and one of the sliding closet doors was broken. I had a two queen size bedroom, which was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was great! There was three different types of meat (i.e. bacon, ham, sausage), fresh cooked scrambled eggs, diced potatoes, toast, cereal, juice, coffee etc...The staff was also friendly! There is plenty of parking spaces, and the hotel is located right off of the highway. The area has plenty of eateries and the hotel is right up the street from Hoosier Casino and Race track. I did not get to go there, but maybe next time I'm there on business :)

Overall great stay. The morning breakfast and staff were awesome and much better than similar priced hotels in this group. The staff were just much more friendly and polite than I usually run into. great stay. We did not use pool or fitness center. WIFI was good and room was fine.

We visited in September to attend a family wedding, and the hotel was great. We were greeted by a nice young lady, Kortney, who was very helpful throughout our entire stay. She informed us of places to eat, things to do, helped us get extra things we needed, and was a very polite and well rounded worker. I told her several times that she deserved a raise simply because she was always willing to help. Loved interacting with her and we will definitely be back!

We needed a place to stop for the night between Indianapolis and Kalamazoo. Anderson's Best Western Plus was affordable and offered a good nights stay. The room and facilities were clean and conveniently located. Their full, hot breakfast was an especially nice treat as well. Would recommend.

The cleaning staff is wonderful - but, they can only do so much - There were (stains) on the bedspreads and the large round bed pillows as well as on the small rack where most people put their suit cases. We also noticed several tears in the carpet and some peeling paint spots on the walls. We have been staying here at least once a year for 4 or 5 years now and it has always been an enjoyable experience. But common sense will tell you that every so often the rooms need to be upgraded or refreshed. I would say that time has come for the Best Western Plus - Anderson, IN. - Other than that, you could not ask for a better place to stay and a friendlier, more helpful staff.

Stayed one night. Good breakfast and the ladies that run it are very nice and friendly. Was at casino night before so didn't use the pool and hot tub until after breakfast--no one else in there but us--that was nice. Quiet, clean and decent parking. No complaints or hassles. I have never used one of those hotel book coupons at the rest areas but my sister grabbed some on the way (I-70W). I had called from casino to ask if they had a room and how much, then asked about the coupon. Got room for about half off with coupon.

Took kids for a getaway. They had a blast in the hotel's indoor pool. There were several restaurants in the area. Plus there is a shuttle to and from Hoosier Park for the adults. Reasonable in pricing, very quiet and clean. Definitely planning a return trip. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Best Western Anderson, Indiana is a GREAT place to hang out and play when you are spending a day at the track. The staff is wonderful and very attentive. The rooms are clean. The lobby and guest dining area very comfortable and welcoming. Prices are good value for amenities. I'd recommend this hotel without reservation.

The bed was wonderful, the room was very quiet, Housekeeping was great, Front desk staff did not have a clue, from day1 right up thru day 6. We paid in advance to get a better rate, knowing that short of death, we were staying. When we arrived to check in I was asked for a credit card, and charged for 3 nights, I had already paid in advance for 6 nights. She only put us in for 3, and then the second day we were locked out, room keys deactivated 4 hours prior to check out time, plus we had 4 more days to stay. this happened 2 more times throughout our stay. when we were ready to leave I had a note to pay for 3 additional nights, since they had only charged me for 3 on check in.

We stayed here a second time for Colts Training Camp, since the staff was so friendly. We upgraded to a suite and had plenty of room for our toddler. The front desk staff were as helpful and friendly as we remembered them to be. The pool could have used some cleaning. People had been smoking in there. The pool is heated, which is nice. Our room was very clean this time. It's not the nicest we've started in but the room was nice overall. The staff really make the experience!

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was reasonably priced. I couldn't believe how great breakfast was. And, it was FREE. The workout room offered a variety of machines. The employees were nice. If I had any complaints, it would be that we didn't have a nice view. The window faced trees and shrubbery.

For the 3rd or 4th time, we have made a business trip to Anderson IN and stayed at the Best Western Plus. If we make another trip to Anderson, we will try to stay here again. Clean, comfortable bed. Quiet. Good breakfast with nice variety. Red Lobster and Cracker Barrel nearby. What more could a person ask for?

Stayed one evening (July 22). From check in to check out, the experience was very pleasant. Our stay was related to a concert at the casino. I was expecting problems (water, etc) based on recent reviews. However, my experience with staff, amenities, and facility was great. The staff provided helpful info regarding casino, eateries, etc. the room was very clean, well stocked and very comfortable. But the real surprise was the next morning at the "full" breakfast buffet. An excellent selection of well prepared delights exceeded my expect ions of " free breakfast". Great job by all!

I feel due to what I have outlined and adding these repairs that the room needs !, Bath room door would not open. 12' by 12' tile was raised 2, Bathroom glass shelve pull out of wall 3. Imagine driving for 8 hours, tired, dirty and yearning for a shower. You check into a hotel, get a room, settle in then discovering there's no running water, not hot water. Ouch! Yep that's what happened - We managed as best as we could, went out for dinner and used the provided bottled water to freshen up. Next morning - still no water BUT the breakfast was great. The manage offered to charge 50$ for the night but I still see a full payment on my CC so I called for a refund/credit. Crossing my fingers.

Hi, pulled in late with my kids. Nice that they still had some juice / coffee / yogurt out for a nice snack after driving to long. Breakfast was nice, Kids liked the waffle mix. Almond Milk if you wanted it. It was a nice clean hotel. Unfortunately my bed was worn out with a big depression that made my sleep very poor. Kids said there bed was not very comfortable either.

We arrive on July 2, 2016 and one of the guest greet us at the door and says there is no hot water there was a water main break last night!!! I go in and talk to the front desk person and I asked her directly I understand there is a water issue...she says everything is working perfectly!!! We get to our room and it's clean and nice, I ask my husband to run the hot water...there was no hot water...the lady at the front desk just lied..I called the front desk and I reached another front desk person and she says the manager is giving everyone half off their stay and a company is on the way to fix the hot water issue. We arrived around 3 we got hot water around 7. Upon check out (we had paid cash) the original front desk person was there (in my head I said oh Lord) I remind her of the half off our room she said I have to get approval from the manager, I had to call corporate and corporate called the front desk --- needless to say she had my money in hand. There free breakfast was awesome..I will give them that.

We had booked to stay 2 nights and the 1st night we were without water from about 10:00 pm until about 2:00 pm the next afternoon. We had to go out and buy water to even try and flush the toilet, and had to wash up with a small bottle of water we'd brought. Then the 2nd day when they changed our towels, they left the door open on the security bar. The staff were not helpful at all and did not give any updates on the water issue, in fact seemed upset that we were asking about it. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!

Our stay at the Best Western Plus in Anderson was very nice. The beds were very comfortable, the room was very clean and had all the necessary amenities, the hotel provided a great assortment of breakfast items and the indoor pool area was a lot of fun; especially the exceptionally large hot tub. The only issue we had was with their closet feature. It was too shallow to close the doors after hanging garments; thus with where it was located, made it cumbersome to open the door leading into the room. They would have been better just to leave the closet door off. But other than this, we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for one night at Best Western. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and nice, they explained breakfast to us and called the shuttle when we were ready to go to Hoosier Park. No complaints there. However, we were put in Room 228 which is directly above the lobby and it was so loud all night. We could hear rolling suitcases and every noise you could think of. And when breakfast started the next morning, we could hear the beeping of the waffle maker as if it were in our own room. I had a terrible night of sleep. Otherwise, the hotel was clean and comfortable. I would stay again if I were in town but I would specifically request a room down one of the corridors, away from the lobby and breakfast area.

The BEST Best Western!! Modern, updated and super clean. The receptionist was very kind and hospitable. The price is reasonable already but when you see the rooms lobby and pool, it's a steal of a deal! Definitely recommend!!

The hotel service was exceptional. However, a big downside is the overwhelming smell of mold in the pool area making the pool virtually unusable. I have stayed in countless hotels and none came even close to the smell of mold at this facility. It must actually be a serious health hazard and I am surprised that health authorities haven't taken action to get this problem fixed.

Stayed after concert. We had a comfy king bed. Keurig-type coffee maker in room. Amazing full breakfast - fruit, baked goods, biscuits and gravy, waffles, potatoes, bacon, eggs, cereal. Very good! Clean hotel with friendly staff. No complaints.

Stayed overnight with kids. They loved the pool and the staff was courteous and helpful with warm towels! The breakfast was fresh and very good. Front desk staff spoke to my children and made them feel welcome. The room was well prepared and the shower had great water pressure and was hot. The toilet flushes quietly so I didn't wake anyone up at night. Plenty of electrical outlet and nicely decorated. It was a great experience!

Stayed at the Best Western Anderson with my wife and son were visiting Anderson University as a potential college to attend. The facility is well kept and clean and the staff is friendly. Of the two rooms we had, one had an issue with the air conditioner working. Mechanical failures happen, no problem. The staff was extremely accommodating in finding an alternative room and allowed us to check out the room before committing to it. I would definitely stay here again. And the breakfast... Not the run of the mill continental breakfast, eggs bacon sausage a great hot breakfast. Very tasty.

Nice facility, clean & fairly modern. Good internet in the room, comfortable bed. Good water pressure in the shower. Cracker Barrel right next door. Located right off of the freeway, plenty of "Chain" restaurants nearby.

This is one of the BEST Best Western hotels I have stayed at. I HIGHLY recommend it. Hotel is newer BUT very clean and well maintained. Breakfast times were excellent and hot and displayed well. Quite rooms did not hear much hallway noise. Hotel is right off interstate with plenty of food locations very close.

Our first time at this hotel. We have a small dog and they were very pet friendly. The front desk and housekeeping staff were very helpful. Our room was spacious and very clean. They offer a hot breakfast is more than adequate. Since we have family in the area, we will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Best Western Plus in Anderson, Indians for the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500. WE have stayed at the best Western for the last three years. We have been very satisfied with this hotel and are already booked the race weekend for next year.

The hotel was in a very safe location and easy on and off the interstate. The lobby and public areas were very clean. The room was spacious and very clean. Excellent nights sleep. Breakfast was very nice and the ladies (yes 2 of them to keep things well supplied) were very friendly. I was surprised that 3 meats were on the buffet! Lots of toppings were also offered for the fresh made waffles. Cereals were available but, I would liked to have had oatmeal or grits. Our room was very quiet and you could hear birds singing in the morning. There were also bird feeders on the back side of the hotel (outside the windows of the breakfast area) We will stay at this location again and since they impressed me so I will look to stay at other Best Western hotels in my travels.

The breakfast is always top notch and the staff is extremely friendly! The indoor pool and hot tub make every stay for business feel like a vacation. Out of many stays at this hotel, the rooms have always been very clean.

This Best Western Hotel is one that you would love to stay for a few days. I wish I could have adventured in the area and enjoyed the hotel more. The Breakfast was amazing and well assembled. I had a pet room and that was very nice, my puppy had no problems with other dog smells.

This hotel is where we always stay when visiting family in Indiana. The place is spotless and the staff is so friendly and professional. The breakfast is amazing and really tasty! I wouldn't stay anywhere else! oh, and the pillows are the BEST!!!

We stayed overnight at the Best Western Plus in Anderson, IN 4/20/2016. This is, I believe, at least the 2nd and maybe the 3rd time we have stayed here. Been pleased every time - clean, comfortable, quiet and a nice breakfast.

Great Breakfast Bar - Everything is Homemade.....This is "The Best Breakfast" at any hotel we have stayed at... Great Guest Service - With in 10 minutes, we asked and received extra pillows and a cott. Very Clean Hotel....

I was very pleased with my stay. I came for work in this town and was very happy and comfortable staying. Well kept, and friendly staff. Beds were very cozy, but could use an update on the pillows. Haha. Pool area is super nice with a hot tub. Breakfast was very good! Love that they offer dairy and gluten free options!

When we arrived the service was great and it was very convenient towards town. Out room air conditioner was not working so thank god our windows cracked. The keys were not working for the pool so you had to get the front desk to come open the doors and the hot tub didn't work. The room was clean and ok for what we needed. Food was good. On Tuesday there was happy hour for families which was very neat. Not sure if we will be back.

My biggest complaint was the lumpy bed. The mattress was broken down - well past it's life span. To avoid the worst lumps, I tried to sleep in the middle - slightly better. I had just finished nearly 12 hours in the air, delayed flights, flight changes, racing between gates, customs, car rentals and finally an hour on the road at midnight. I didn't need a lumpy mattress. I needed a good sleep nights sleep. I told the lady on checkout that the bed was in serious need of a new mattress. I hope they actually deal with it. Housekeeping needs a bit more attention. There was no tissue in the tissue box. The hand lotion had already been used with about one quarter gone and the top broken and put back on the bottle. That felt weird - like I was in someone elses room. Desk clerks were very professional and friendly. The common areas are well kept and clean. I would stay at this hotel again - provided they update their mattresses and talk to housekeeping about the small details.

I had a very nice stay at Best Western and the breakfast was great. However, the bedding was frayed and there was grease or oil spots on the bed skirt - which was disappointing. However it was spacious and a very comfortable. The front desk person was very cordial and helpful. Thanks!

We always stay at Choice Privilege hotels and are normally satisfied with the Choice properties. This hotel did not meet our expectations and was not up to Choice standards. The tub and shower area was very dirty. The floor around the fridge and night stands needed to be vacummed. The bed skirt and shower curtains were soiled. The dresser was shimmed with paper towels. There was a 2x4 board holding up the vanity. I would not recommend this facility. We will not stay there again.

My wife and I stopped here last year for the same reason (the last leg in our journey home from Florida). It was terrific last year and hasn't changed. Our room was large, modern and clean. The bed was comfortable. The prices were reasonable for what we got. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was large and loaded with a large variety of yummy items. Even though we were unable to attend, we were informed of a "Happy Hour" early evening reception that had a nice variety of treats. The only thing that I found to be negative was the pool / spa area. The room is set up with almost no ventilation and the atmosphere in that area is so hot and humid that it is almost stifling. See ya next year!!!!

I'll start with the good. The front desk staff at this hotel was very helpful, friendly, and went out of their way to make my stay a good one. It was obvious that they staff truly cares about their guests. They do a great job and should be commended for it. On the other hand, the facility itself was not great. Despite the building appearing to be fairly new, there were a lot of minor maintenance issues that need addressing. These range from light bulbs that need replaced in common areas, to exercise equipment malfunctioning to a giant hole in the ceiling near the pool. At no point in time during my stay did I see a maintenance employee on site, or for that matter, a manager.

We stopped over night on our way to Missouri. This hotel was comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast in the morning was good and had plenty of choices to choose from. We weren't there for a long stay, but what we did experience we'd definitely stop again.

My wife and I stayed here when we visited our daughter at school. We have stayed at both the Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn and due to late booking on our part, we stayed here. It is not bad if your looking for an average hotel. Lobby was clean, food area was clean. Our room had a slight smell to it. The AC fan is not loud enough to drown out all of the foot steps that you hear all night long but cooled off the room. We were by the steps so that didn't help either. As long as someone is walking around, you hear it. My wife thought someone was training for a marathon with all of the running around last night. The shower drain was very slow so I wasn't sure if I was taking a shower or a bath. The beds were not bad, I've had worse. The young woman at the front desk was very nice and very friendly. We did not have many interactions with anyone else so I won't comment. Would I stay here again, probably not. Please let me be clear, the hotel is not horrible just not very quiet and not the greatest. We will definitely be back over the next 3 yrs but will most likely stay at another hotel. Note: I won't comment on things I did not engage or have involvement with. Hope this helps.

We wanted to get away for the Valentine Day weekend. We decided to spend the night at the Best Western Plus in Anderson. I was very pleased with the appearance of our room. It was clean and nice. The free breakfast buffet was very nice. A wide variety of selections and helpful staff. The pool had some damage to the ceiling in the corner due to what looked like a snow build up. But the pool was still open and was very nice. Check in was simple and smooth. The staff was friendly and helpful. This is a nice hotel and we were very happy with our experience. We would suggest this hotel to our friends and family in the future.

I always use this review system before booking a room, so I thought it would only be fitting to write a good review for my recent stay. Except for a faint smell of smoke in the non-smoking room, this Best Western was as promised. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

There is all the essential for a breef staying in Anderson. The price is also convenient. Personnel kind and professional. Breakfast reach of food variety. Building and room are not new or they seems not new. Daily cleaning seems ok. A little bit more care in maintenance and deep cleaning could be helpfull for a better feeling.

Overall it was a great stay! The room was large and very clean. Breakfast was hot which was nice but mediocre in taste. However, I didn't expect much and it was nice to eat a hot breakfast before getting back on the road. My three year old LOVED his stay there :)

Friendly staff, smiles & greet, clean, quite & comfortable rooms. Breakfast is awesome! My husband & I have stayed here twice now and both times it has been perfect, no problems. They were like family and we will stay at this location again.

I was upset that nowhere on the website did it say that the pool was under maintenance. There was also an issue with a fight among the staff members that was extremely loud when I was trying to relax and watch TV in my room.

This hotel was as expected. The pool/hot tub was closed for maintenance but that didn't upset me too much. It appears to be an older building but inside the room was right on par with other hotels in the area. We did have a toilet issue (had to hold the lever down to actually flush it), but it didn't bother us. Parking is tight. We came in with a truck and so did about 10 others. It was difficult to fit in any spot when we arrived late at night. Overall, my biggest gripe would be parking, there's not enough of it. I would stay here again if I needed to for work.

The hotel was very clean. The staff were friendly and very professional. The hot breakfast was a very good deal. There was a good variety of food to choose from. The king room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

When our motor home required emergency service while traveling south we needed motel rooms while repairs were completed at the nearby Freightliner dealer. Tashaini was at the front desk when I called Sunday afternoon and again Monday when repairs took longer than expected. She was extremely helpful and helped get us the best rate both times. We were traveling with pets and requested ground floor rooms with easy access to exits. Tashaini exemplified the best in customer service one could ask for!! Rooms were nice and clean, and the buffet breakfast was varied and excellent. Very nice eating area as well with gas fireplace. USA Today and local papers available no charge. There is a laundry area but a couple of the machines were out of order. Easy access to interstate 69. Cracker Barrel next door. Swimming pool and exercise room available but I did not check out.

I always stay at this particular Best Western when I am in Anderson, Indiana. The rooms are large enough to move around with ease. Larger than all the other motels I have ever stayed at. The breakfast is also very good!

Good start to our 10 week road trip. This place was clean, comfy with a good breakfast and nice bed. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Would definitely stay again. Best Western can be proud of this one

My husband and I would stay there again if needed. The hotel location was very easy to find and convenient. The rooms were clean and bed/pillows very comfortable. The front desk personnel was extremely friendly and helpful.

When ever we are anywhere in the Anderson area, we stay at this Best Western. We have had nothing but great experiences there. The only complaint I have is that as all hotels I believe they should have handicapped toilets in all rooms as there are a large group of traveling seniors across the country.

This property has a tired look to it. While clean and quiet, it simply did not compare to other Best Western Plus properties we have stayed at. In addition, the bathroom sink area is extremely small, with inadequate room for the toiletries of two people. The closet was on the small side as well. Further, the toilet and tub were in a separate room with a light that turned on and off automatically. We could find no way to stop this, which meant that, when getting up to use the toilet at night, you were subjected to a bright light, which is not conducive to going back to sleep when finished.

Can't comment too much on the amenities. Once we checked into our room and saw the toilet seat up, a used bar of soap in the shower, and dirty sheets on both beds (after pulling back the bedding), we checked out immediately. Good news though, the girl at the front desk offered to not charge us for the room!

The only thing bad I'd say about this best Western is that on the 3 times I stayed in anderson before I didn't stay here. Bed was comfortable with plenty of space in the room. Shower was wonderful pressure. The breakfast had real eggs!!!

Great hotel,well maintained,great staff, excellent service., very quiet. We will seek out this Hotel on future trips. I was amazed when we mentioned we were traveling for a funeral , that they gave us a discount rate for bereavement, unsolicited by us!

Overall, a great hotel! I usually book at one of the better know chains, but I waited too late and Best Western was the only hotel that was available. I was not disappointed. Was greeted by a cheerful and helpful front desk staff. Rooms were spotless and the beds. Wow! I prefer a more firm mattress and these were awesome. Plus, there was a Keurig in the room. What a pleasant surprise! The AC seemed old and made a funny noise and the faucet in the shower could use some attention, but this is a great hotel, great staff and if I return to Anderson, I'll definitely stay here again.

We wanted a quick getaway; close to the racetrack. This was the perfect location and the price was extremely reasonable. We were able to take the complimentary shuttle to and from the track. After the races, we were able to relax in the hot tub which was a large size.

This was my first visit to a Best Western Plus. The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds comfortable and the buffet was excellent. Have added this hotel to my list of travel hotels when visiting this area of the state.

We went to Hoosier Park & Racing Casino for a concert on a Friday night and stayed at this hotel because they had a free 24/hr shuttle. The room was on the main floor and it was accommodating with fridge and microwave. Unfortunately, the hotel needs updated, but bed was comfortable and shower water was strong. Free Wi-Fi and free breakfast buffet.
