« Nice well kept hotel in great location »

Our hotel stay for 6 nights was great. Yes the hotel room, bathroom, and shower are small but it was fine for my wife and I. The rooms were clean, warm, and serviced well. Receptionist staff was very friendly and helpful to us. This hotel is in a great location near key bus stops and metro stations. Many places to eat near by. Many late night places near by too. One draw back is the collection of garbage every early morning which can be loud so try and stay on the upper floors if possible.

    « Nice hotel »

Lovely little hotel, very central. The staffs were very helpful n friendly. The hotel itself is simple n clean. U will have all the comfort needed. I absolutely loved it. The price wasn't too bad either. Wifi connection wasn't too great though n the espresso machine wasn't working in my room but was offered to have free coffee at the reception area.

« Quick 1 Day Trip to Paris »

Location of the hotel is ok, Cleanliness is nice, breakfast was quite average to say the least, ambiance of the room is alright, small bathrooms, AC was not that great, overall stay was just about alright... could have been better for the price I would say...

« Very good hotel with a great location »

Stayed here for 4 nights in a standard double room on the 3rd floor. Room are super clean, very modern and stylish with daily cleaning and changing of sheets and towels. The soaps and shower products are top quality and the towels are great. The toilet is a bit too small space go me personally but could get it to work :). Service from the staff at reception was very good and they are knowledgeable and helpful. Oh and the beds are great too:). Always great stay with Best Western.

« As rooms go, 601 was nice »

I can't say every room is good because that would have taken about 30 nights before I tried them all but the one I stayed in was nice! Good breakfast and a 10-15 walk to Gare du Nord. Only thing that stopped this from being an excellent review is the shower head was too low for anyone over 5' 10" to do anything than an awkward crouch to get underneath it. Of course if you are feeling active you could always take it off the wall and work to get clean! I'd stay again.

« very nice hotel for good price »

I enjoyed my stay. The room was small but comfortable. And it was quiet, which was good for someone like me (having general problems with insomnia). The location is excellent as well - close to metro, close to bars and restaurants, within walking distance of the Louvre.

« Cozy hotel, great staff »

We booked this hotel last minute and we got a great deal. We were in love with the decoration till the moment we got there. Hotel rooms are small as any other hotel in Paris, bathroom is actually pretty big in comparison to others. Shower had no glass separation which is something i hadn't seen before, and i thought everything was going to get wet, but it it perfectly planned. Staff was great, everyone spoke good english & were helpful with everything we asked for, including the common questions of "how do get there?" etc. Breakfast is really good as well. Bottled water at the minibar is very expensive, 4 euros per 500 ml, but there's a supermarket right next to it. Hotel location is also great, near the metro and with many coffee stores, restaurants, pharmacies, even laundry walking distance. On check-out we left our luggage at the front desk and i had forgotten a small pillow i always travel with and by the time we got back, it was there, along with the rest of our luggage which we were really thankful for. I would really recommend the hotel for anyone looking for a nice stay in Paris, for a fair price!

    « lovely hotel »

3 night stay in early December. I love the area and this hotel is placed right in the middle. Easy walk from Gare du Nord and close to 3 metro stations plus good bus routes. Check in was easy and swift. Room relatively spacious with a large bed, a bath and large fluffy towels. And L'occitane toiletries. One light wasn't working, neither was the minibar. Light fixed immediately. Minibar wasn't but an ice bucket supplied with ice every time I entered the hotel. Breakfast was good. Some lovely cheese and really good bread and pastries. Room had a kettle and coffee machine but I don't drink hot drinks. Comfortable chair and table, plenty of Power points. Free Wi-Fi efficient. Staff lovely and understanding of my appalling French.TV includes international news channels and W9. Surrounding area includes supermarkets, good cafes/bistros. Easy walk to Galleries Lafayette area and Sacre Couer. One to add to my favourites

« Manager lied to Priceline »

Booked through Priceline. Arrived to check in, upon departing the cab there appeared to be several homeless people ranting out front. One was urinating on the front of the building. Check in went ok at the front desk. When we got to the room it was sweltering hot! The temp control read 27c (as the current in room temp) the control was set at 18c. Waited one hour and it didn't cool at all. I called the front desk and the young lady (Matilda) stated she could control the in room temp right there from her desk. She said it appeared just fine. After another hour it was still baking in the room. The temp never went down. Internet wasn't working either. We asked for another room; it was the same situation. I took a picture of the thermostat and walked downstairs to show them. They could have cared less. Stated the manager would call us when he came back in. After being there 3 hours with no calls and no attempts to resolve our problem. We checked out. This is being written 6 days later and still no contact from the elusive hotel manager. I disputed this with Priceline to no avail. The manager lied to the Priceline representative saying the air conditioning was perfect, the internet worked just fine and that he got back in touch with me. Lie, lie, lie. We then contacted Best Western corporate offices about the situation. The manager (Lucas) lie to them as well. My American Express Centurion member services then got involved and refunded the 3 nights back to my card. This hotel is a scam. It is absolutely NOT a 4 star hotel.

« Okey hotel for Paris »

I stayed here 3 nights in July. The room was small but okay for one guy. The bathroom was very small. Only negative to say about the hotel that I had an opened bottle of water in the minibar but it was quickly replaced. The personal was kind, helpful and talked English very well. WiFi included and I had no problems to use it. Can recommend this hotel for a short visit I Paris.

« Everything was great and exceeded our expectations »

We found the hotel and our room to be stylish and efficient. The room was small (which I assume is typical of a hotel in a big city) but well-organized. We had 3 medium-sized bags, and while tight, we had no problem moving around. The room had a small refrigerator with a mini-bar, a small pantry/closet, a TV with a variety of stations including English-speaking ones, a comfortable bed, and a modern bathroom with a glass door. There is a curtain that can be pulled down, but privacy could be an issue for some people. We had no problem with it. We did not have the breakfast, as there were cafes nearby. The location was also great for us; it was a lively area at all times of the day and night, and we walked everywhere from there. The Metro was also not far. Free Wi-fi worked great in the room, and we also used the computer downstairs to print out flight boarding passes. Those working at the reception desk were excellent, and one woman in particular (we unfortunately did not get her name) was exceptional. She helped us check in early and get a shuttle to the airport at the last minute with ease, and she was friendly and welcoming. I booked through Priceline's Name-your-own-price, but, based on our experience, I would have been satisfied paying the full rate too. In all aspects, the hotel exceeded our expectations.

« How tiny can a room be? »

This hotel is well-located, close to Opera and Folies Bergere, so a short walk to the center of things. But the place is mostly to be described as tiny in every way. Tiny little room. Tiny, tiny bathroom. Tiny lobby, tiny breakfast room. I've stayed in many hotels in many large cities in Europe and USA so I have seen small rooms before, but this one was pretty surely the smallest. Since the entire hotel is also so small, it appears that there's only one staff member for all duties in the evenings, maybe even including setting up for breakfast. So that staff person is often not at the desk, and at those times keeps the door locked, so people cannot enter. It seems they also don't respond to the bell that is outside for ringing, so coming in in the evenings, two nights in a row, I had to wait more than ten minutes to get admission to the hotel. Wifi was complimentary but very, very weak and you could not use more than one device at at time--quite irritating.

    « I liked it »

The hotel is ok, a bit far from what we was interested to do, but the price and quality for me was great! Wifi free! Receptionist very gentle and all them speaking english. The room was comfortable! I got a room in front of the road, a bit noise in the morning but it was ok as we needed to get up early anyway!! There are bicycle (payable) really in from of the hotel. If you reach Paris by the international train station you can go by walking to the hotel (I did) then you will can see at first how Paris looks like and the crazy traffic hehehe!! (About 15min walking) PS: if you will get a taxi, please write the address and give to the taxi driver because they don't speak any English at all :-/ (at least I didn't get that luck).
