"WORSE HOTEL IN THE WORLD"
robertoo370, 22 Décembre 2023

worse hotel in my life. never saw a hotel that I can not choose the temperature of my room. terrible. and the front desk guy, who speaks a very poor English, just answer me as the most natural way that why do I need a air conditioner in the winter. I am paying the hotel room and if I want to freeze myself inside the room it is my problem and should be an answer of a fort desk guy. never will stay in any best western chain and will make a very honest opinion in trip advise. #bestwesternoperadrouot #worsehotelinworld

"Cozy rooms and nice staff"
Aurelia V, 18 Décembre 2023

My husband and I went to this hotel for our honeymoon. The staff was really nice. Although the rooms are small (which is to be expected in Paris), they are also very charming. The room we were given was very cozy, on the top floor inset into the mansard roof. We will definitively come back for our next trip to Paris.

"Fantastic hotel! Will stay again"
Emma G, 23 Novembre 2023

Absolutely loved this hotel! The room was clean, had all the amenities needed and a really comfortable bed! The location was excellent, next to the metro and there were lots of bars and restaurants around. Most of all I can't fault the staff, they went above and beyond for me, especially jade! I'll definitely be coming back here again on my next trip to Paris!

"Be careful with valuable belongings "
happyholsrus, 05 Novembre 2023

Great location rooms very small and very hot, Airpods disappeared from room went to reception to report but got greeted with a grunt and advised would leave a note for the staff the next day. Approached reception nthn done so waited on cleaners and when asked response was no English ! Also noticed when we returned my daughters necklace was also missing took the goodness out our trip away

"One of the worst hotel we stayed in Paris"
Tuan S, 09 Octobre 2023

One of the worst hotels we have stayed in Paris. Hotel rooms are very small and you have hardly any space to keep your luggage. There is hardly walking space when you get out of the elevator. Yet, the hotel is very expensive compared to hotels nearby. The staff is very unfriendly. They don't know how to greet or smile at the guests. Once we were asked to dispose of our garbage outside the hotel. They didn't even care when we asked how to get a taxi to the station. The TV was not working and the beds were very uncomfortable. We are not sure how it got a 4-star rating.

"Building site"
Sinead K, 09 Juillet 2023

It's a building site. They should not be accepting paying guests until the extensive construction works have been completed. Luckily we were relocated by Expedia to a lovely hotel nearby. Be warned and book somewhere else.

"Super"
poppy2moore3, 05 Octobre 2022

Highly commend Jade at reception for her super guest care and making our stay a great one overall. We also appreciated Yassine for taking special initiative to assist with transport. Excellent location although the size of the rooms are small. Many restaurants and convenience stores close by...

"Paris trip"
Ji H, 23 Septembre 2022

Nice hotel conveniently situated plenty of bars and restaurants in the vicinity . Two metro stations near Grand Boulevards probably the nearest . Only negative re hotel was lack of drawer space in the room but for a short trip was not a massive issue . Nice staff at reception would stay here again .

"Great location"
zacklucinda, 19 Juillet 2022

Great location and staff. Charming area for both adults and kids. There is food and shopping for all. There was a cute crepe place around the corner. Along with some great restaurants. The Metro and bus was about a 2 min walk. Overall experience was great.

"Decent value, location, very clean."
Robert K, 15 Juin 2022

Best western provides a fairly consistent experience. The room was quiet - couldn't hear any neighbors, plumbing, etc and very clean. The staff was exceptionally cordial. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this location again. And, they had extra pillows for all three of us. Paris is pricey, though.

"Best Western Opera Drouot is Great"
Carol D, 07 Janvier 2022

We were in Paris from after Christmas until after the New Year, January 4th. From check-in until check-out, the staff at this Best Western were friendly and helpful. It is located on a street full of restaurants, cafes and restaurants with bars, so it could get a bit loud into the evening. Not a problem for us, and we just closed our windows when we needed quiet or sleep. Winters are cold in Paris, very grateful for the heat and comforters provided! The breakfast provided (for a charge) had a good variety with delicious coffee and juices.

"Summer holiday"
74Camelia74, 23 Août 2021

The hotel is around 1,5 - 2 km from Louvre, Opera Garnier, Centre Pompidou, Sacre- Coeur and around 4,5- 5 km from Eiffel tower. The room with twin beds are really small but the room with double bed was bigger.

"Very Helpful Hotel Staffs"
letskeeptraveling, 22 Août 2021

I spent quite some time in Paris this summer, during the pandemic things changed a lot by comparison to other times that I visited Paris. Spent the last 2 nights in Best Western Hotel Opera Drouot before flying to New York. Forgot a bag in the lobby while checking out, didn't realize it until arrived CDG. Called Hotel and they already put it in the office. After arrived in NYC, I emailed Hotel and asked them to ship to Madrid. Manager Arijana kindly helped out and emailed the receipt to me. 2 weeks later after arrived in Madrid again, I told Hotel I still didn't get it yet, Arijiana talked to me and we emailed back and forth to trace the package, finally we successfully located it. All staffs were very kind very patience during the whole process, I really appreciate their helps!

"SURELY THERE ARE BETTER HOTELS AT THIS PRICE"
Ann608, 31 Décembre 2019

I cannot understand how anyone can rate the location of this hotel as excellent. It is on a seedy looking street across from a boarded up washateria which is located next to a boarded up noodle shop! The street itself is very narrow and the traffic noise lasts all day long, well into the night. The breakfast is so meager that to charge 12 Euros for it is a crime. The reception desk is of no help. When I asked for an umbrella, the woman merely shrugged and there were none left. Every decent hotel has enough umbrellas to accommodate each room. Noise from the upstairs room kept us awake many a night. There is no lobby to speak of. Maid service is slow. All in all an unpleasant experience

"Excellent Location"
Sandissima, 08 Décembre 2019

Good stuff: We liked that the hotel was in a great location. Close to a metro station and easily accessible to the sights. 15-20 min walk to the restaurants and bars around. Our room had a small balcony and although the room is compact it served the purpose for the trip as were out a lot. Bathroom was a good size and the staff were friendly. Adriana and Karima and the team were very happy to help us any advice about how to get to places etc. Downside: it states on the booking site that the room has air conditioning which is inaccurately written. The room can get quite warm and the air con is "seasonal". So we had to keep the window open in the bathroom. All the tv channels are in french no English subtitles but the WiFi works. Lastly breakfast is not spectacular. It's minimal, basic and expensive for the price the hotel charges; however there are loads of places to eat right outside on the doorstep.

"Clean, and central."
198alastairm, 18 Novembre 2019

Try to find a hotel in Paris that a) will not dry your bank account, and b) in a pleasant and central place. Well this it, clean, good price, well yes the rooms are small, but location location. Good restaurants around the hotel, close to the main attractions, good breakfast, and very friendly staff. This is my from now on my Paris hotel.

"Great Location! Great service 24/7"
Tania C, 08 Octobre 2019

We were close to all kind of services and attractions. Public transportation of all mind with in 2 blocks. Several good restaurants within 10 minutes walking. Help at reception was always available in french and english.

"Nice Hotel, but has some issues"
Just_Traveler, 04 Octobre 2019

It's a nice hotel with the standard features: clean, comfortable and staff is friendly; the location is good. There are some issues though: the elevator was broken the first day, but most importantly they have central AC and turned it off the first night I arrived so you cannot have AC in your room. This is a total inconvenience: my room was hot and stuffy and I could do nothing. Other than that I my reservation said paid in advance and then when I check out they let me know they did not charge it so I have to pay it on that moment and really messed my cash flow. It was a nice stay but they have to fix the little issues to make it a really great place to stay.

"Good location, bad hotel"
andressaamaral2019, 27 Septembre 2019

The hotel is well located close to Opera. The room, however, is really small and dark. The elevator was broken during the whole stay (and we were in the 4th floor). Overall, not a bad hotel but i'd go for another option.

"Very unfair Company Policy and Tactics, Beware..."
WilliamMckeown1980, 13 Septembre 2019

My Daughter and partner, Both full time students had booked to stay for 3 nights, They paid a deposit off £70.00. The Airline had canceled all flights to France on the day they were to arrive, So they contacted the Hotel when they where at the Airport to ex-plane they ask the Hotel if possible to change the dates to the next day as Easy jet offered a flight the following day. The Hotel was not able to do so, And not only taking the £70.00 Deposit, Within 15 minutes of the phone call, they had withdrawn the full amount of the stay, £305.00 from my Daughters account. I called the Hotel and asked why this was, I was told to send an email, After 3 more emails and 3 days later i got a reply telling me it was not going to be paid back. On the day they said they could not change the rooms, I went on there website, I was able to see that i could have booked a room for the nights that was requested. Be very careful, Very unfair tactics, My daughter and partner are both full time students and this was there first trip ever away with each other, Not a very nice memory, And the Hotel left them both in hardship for the rest of the month as finances are low. Happy 21st Birthday Present.

"Had what we needed :)"
wherearttads, 02 Septembre 2019

My sister and I stayed for 1 night (Saturday - Sunday). It was 16min walk from the Eurostar station. The area itself was busy with shops and restaurants just a couple of minutes away and there was a train station only about 3-5mins away so it was easy getting to all the sites we wanted to see. The hotel itself is nice and has some character although our room was small compared to other hotels I've stayed in. The bathroom was nice and modern and I loved the shower! The only thing I saw was that the kettle and the tray with tea and coffee was a little dusty. Overall however we had a lovely stay and the staff at reception were lovely and helpful.

"Wish there was 0 stars"
infoJ1316RG, 27 Août 2019

My stay here wasn't long. I reserved a family room with three beds. I paid in advance for the room. When I arrived I was given a room that was only two beds. The room wasn't clean either. The floor was dirty as if no one sweeper or mopped the floor and other surfaces had dirt on them. I wasn't comfortable so I left.

"Do not stay here"
traveling98, 22 Juillet 2019

When I checked in I was told that the elevator was being renovated and didn't work. They were going to put us on the sixth floor and ended up on the third floor. My wife and I have a hard time going up and down stairs. I asked why we were not told this when we made reservations or why it wasn't on their website. Of course they don't want you to know because you wouldn't make reservations if you did know. The sign on the elevator door and the tape holding it on were old. See photos. This didn't just happen. I saw no indication that the elevator was being worked on. The bed mattress needs to be replaced. The safe in the room was broken. The cleaning crew did not replace items as you use them. I am a Best Western Rewards Member and have never seen a BW hotel with these kind of issues. STAY AWAY and find a better hotel!!!

"Worst hotel experience ever (no sleep)"
Voyage75512, 02 Juillet 2019

The stay was booket by a family member since we were traveling together. The price was about the same as I normaly pay for **** (4 star) hotels so I expected a good experience. We were assignet two rooms on the top floor the first was small just a little bigger than the bed but a little room to walk to the small bathroom. The other one was so small that it was only 2-3 feet arround the bed and in both rooms the celing blocked approx 1/3 of the room to stand up straight. On top of this the airconditioning sounded like wather pipes were running constantly. So the noise kept waking me up until I realised it was not pipes in the wall but the airconditioning. The beds were really hard, don't get me wrong I normally sleep in hard bed but these were just wery uncofertable and made my back stiffen up so I was unable to fall asleep again when I finally turned off the airconditioning. The toilettseat was unclean but in other ways tho room was clean but worn. I have never given out bad revewies before! In my life I have stayed in a lot of hotels and in my younger years worked in some. This was the worst experience ever.

"Great Hotel!"
cdtip, 21 Juin 2019

Best Western Hotel Opera Drouot is an great choice when in Paris as it is in a very accessible location to various Metro stations. The hotel is a short walking distance to the Shopping district of Opéra. We arrived at the hotel before the check-in time, and to our surprise, the room was all ready! The room itself was quite spacious, and we got a family room with two beds, the large bed was perfect, but the twin sized bed (red bed in the image) was a bit strange/small as it felt more like a day bed rather than fit for sleeping. We found that though the room was spacious, there was not enough storage space or horizontal surfaces to place things. The Nespresso machine was a wonderful amenity to the room, and our entire stay was simply lovely! Would definitely recommend!

"N.I.L"
Shirlene C, 13 Juin 2019

Very basic. Room is clean. The fire alarm sounded once and we were told it was a false alarm. I was expecting some service recovery but none. Nothing to shout about, if you want a clean and safe room to stay and nothing luxurious then this is a good choice because it was perfect for shopping, eating etc.

"Honeymoon "
happyholidays144, 08 Juin 2019

Very nice hotel. Compact rooms as previously stated but everything you need whilst seeing Paris. Room cleaned every day with fresh towels provided. Staff friendly, welcoming and happy to help. Lots and lots of places to eat and drink of all kinds surrounding the hotel. Air con much appreciated and helped with sleeping. Passageways next door and opposite with antique shops, galleries and bars/ coffee shops for a wander. Very enjoyable stay, thank you.

"Perfect "
Leandra T, 14 Avril 2019

I stayed here whilst on business and I would definitely recommend it. The staff are really friendly and helpful a big thank you to Lynn on the reception desk who helped me with directions on multiple occasions and was just generally a nice person. The rooms are clean and have everything you need for a short stay. The hotel is situated close to shops and transport and 10 mins walk from a department store. The hotel will be my go to for any future trips.

"Perfect location"
ivethetravelbug, 25 Janvier 2019

When we first arrived we were able to leave our bags in storage while we went out to explore and wait for our room, the receptionist was very nice but very little english ( I don't mind that though as it is not their first language but it was a barrier). The lift in the hotel was very small and rickety, we were on the 6th floor and opted for the stairs every time we were going and leaving room. Room was tiny, no room really to stand as bed took up most of the space, we were told that rooms were sound proof but could hear those above us and people in the hall. Bed was comfy and had a nice view out of window. The decor was fine, we didn't spend much time there so we didn't mind. I did find insects in the shower on the last day and nothing much was said to me but hopefully they sorted the problem for following guests. We didn't have breakfast here as there was lots of nice places around the hotel to eat. Location was amazing, felt very safe here. A tour bus was just over a street which was very handy. There was leaflets with tours and information in the hotel and the receptionist were helpful for getting information also! It is reasonably priced but you are paying for the location not the room. Overall it was a great trip, the location would be my reason to go back.

"Denied a glass to drink wine"
162luisal, 01 Janvier 2019

The room is quite small. The check in was made by a not so much enthusiastic worker. The location is good, near many things that are opened at night and also 2 different subway stations. Today we asked the staff for a glass to drink wine that was not a regular plastic one, even though there is a restaurant inside they denied for 'security measures'. The remote doesn't work and the light on my bed was burned. I had to ask for a pillow also because they forgot mine and just set the bed for my parents. A regular hotel that turned out to he a bad experience.

"Excellent location, very cosy rooms and perfect breakfast"
Pierre V, 17 Décembre 2018

The hotel is very nicely located in the center of Paris, close to many attraction and restaurants. The rooms feature all the cmfort needed to spend a relaxing moment in a quiet place. The breakfast is just great with tasty egges, fresh orange juice and the possibility to have decaf. Excellent solution for a business stop

"Wonderful Location"
MinaS216, 11 Décembre 2018

I was looking not for very fancy hotel in Paris, And I get this one. It is location is the best thing, it is very close to many restaurants, cafes and even there is big super market just 1 min far. Very close to the metro station and the bus station. 25 min to 30 min walking from the Louvre. The Room was small, but very clean. The toilet as well very small but very clean. they know how to use each space in the room. The front desk man was very helpful during the check in, specially we arrived very late at night. Only the internet wasn't the best.

"Average place"
Pasky34, 10 Décembre 2018

Noisy, clumsy lift, low quality and no much choice for the breakfast, and no fresh orange juice. cold in the room even with the heath fix to 27 degrees. very small bed. But well situated in the heart of Paris not far from the Grands Magasins.

"Great location !"
CarolL1936, 26 Novembre 2018

The hotel is located between two subway stations. It's 15 mins walk to Gare du Nora, Lourve, next to the passages and few steps to markets, cafes, and restaurants. I will definitely stay here for my future trips.

"Séjour"
FlorinaF38, 02 Novembre 2018

the position of the hotel is great, accessible to everywhere with 3 subway stations at walking distance. However, we needed to ask 2 times for the coffee and towels because forgotten. The room was very small and the bathroom is on sight. The price is convenient though and the staff is friendly.

"Average"
vvel, 16 Octobre 2018

Friendly and service-minded personnel but they had nothing to serve of drinks or snack in the bar and reception area. Room ok with comfortable bed and quite clean. Breakfast with very limited assortement.

"Everything is great"
Lawrence W, 09 Octobre 2018

Extraordinary cozy hotel in great location. Much supermarkets surrounded, and near the Metro station, that quite close to Gare du Nord. Staffs are friendly and willing to help. Breakfast has varity food and delicious. If someone that have to choose a excellent hotel and worth for money in Paris, I definetly will have a high recommand in this hotel. Would visit next time. By the way, let me remind you, book earlier, cause it is popular enough to be full booking already.

"Great friendly staff!"
stacee m, 15 Septembre 2018

Karima and Arijana at the desk went above snd beyind to be helpful with my tourist questions. The maid was happy to teach me how to use the coffee machine, language barrier notwithstanding. Lovely place. Clean and close to metro 8-9 lines, grocery stores, shops and cafes. A safe, lively neighborhood. Bring earplugs. The street can be noisy, but that's just Paris!

"Be very careful with your reservation"
Philippe49, 13 Septembre 2018

This week, i tried to check in, and at 8PM at the desk trying to check in they told me my reservation was cancelled. without any notice, neither explanation. And as alternative they proposed to me a room with lower category at higher price. This week was very busy and expensive for hotel in Paris. Be sure to double check your booking before your stay ! and do not expect the hotel to have a proper management to handle this, they play dead.

"Bijou"
82Amanda_St, 02 Septembre 2018

A very affordable hotel in a great location. The rooms are modern and finished to a high standard. However they are extremely small even for Paris standards. Real cups and spoons in the room would have been preferable to the cardboard cups and stirrers though.. however overall good value for money given paris pricing. NB. We didnt book for breakfast as at €20 per person similar was offer at half the price just down the road

"Lovely place that's well situated in Paris"
yellowhouse2018, 22 Août 2018

Best Western Hotel Opera de Drouot was a lovely little boutique hotel. It is located near many restaurants, grocery stores, and in close proximity to two metro stations. Very clean with newly finished bathrooms and good air conditioning. Staff is extremely nice and helpful!

"Overall a good place"
CaenAnn, 13 Août 2018

Nice location. We walked everywhere. Main downside of the room is that it doesn't have dresser drawers. The staff did give us extra clothes hangers. Other requests, such as fixing the safe, were resolved.

"Superb location but horrible hotel"
Shayonti C, 12 Août 2018

When visiting Paris the location of this Best Western property is highly recommended. However the hotel is overpriced & simply disgusting & decor depressing. Black wall paper dinghy lighting old dirty carpets is sure to take the thunder out of your visit to this fascinating city. Staff unhelpful & inefficient. Breakfast cold & stale, breakfast room chairs & tans tables uncomfortable. I had a dripping AC in the room it took them 2 days to change my room. Uncomfortable bed & pillows

"Very Average Hotel"
Lauren K, 05 Août 2018

This hotel was the definition of average. It was not bad but it was not amazing. The rooms are very small which is expected in Paris. Our family of 4 had 2 rooms. Our children got the handicapped accessible room and loved the bathroom. It was European Style and had the shower/toilet/sink all in one room so it was very roomy. The second room had an odd layout with the toilet on one side and the sink on the other and a small shower that had a panel that you could almost see through so it didn't offer too much privacy. The beds were very comfortable. The location is pretty good although a bit far from most of the main attractions. We took the Metro everywhere which was very convenient. There was a mall across the street with an M&S market which was excellent for stocking up on water and snacks. They also had good pastries for a quick breakfast. We went there daily. The laundromat across the street was convenient and easy to use and we took advantage of it because the temperatures were very high during our visit and we needed to do laundry. The hotel staff were all very friendly and accommodating. They printed out our Eiffel Tower tickets which was so nice.

"Smart choice "
CoiledS, 03 Juillet 2018

Clean modern with good bed aircon and quiet, what more do you want. Location central and easy to walk to central sights.Nespresso machine and few pods in room. Overall good value for Paris. I didn't eat breakfast so can't comment. Ps lots of plug points so easy to change phone etc etc

"Nice, cozy hotel"
Alexandra M, 23 Mars 2018

Very nice hotel, location is excellent, Panorama galleries are just next to it. Our room was rather small, but that is the case with most of Paris hotels. No problems with the heating (we managed to catch some snowy days in the middle of March, but the room was cozy, comfortable and warn). The staff was helpful, breakfast was good. Overall a great stay in Paris, would happily recommend this hotel.

"Non existing WiFi"
Bianca F, 21 Mars 2018

I stayed in Paris for a weekend and for the 3 days I did not have wifi connection. I thought it was a problem only for that weekend, but reading the reviews I saw that this is happening since a long time. I asked the hotel staff what they could do about it and they said it was up to the manager, who was not there during the 3 days I stayed. The bathroom was very spacious but the room itself and the bed were quite small. For the price I paid, I would not recommend.

"Smart choice for Paris "
Manos I, 22 Janvier 2018

Great location really close to metro station and galleries Lafayette Many choices for food nearby Very clean and comfortable Smart choice for those who traveling to Paris for business trip and vacation Small minus the elevator sound and the WiFi signal Very friendly and helpful stuff !! Thank you

"Paris weekend"
scottie879, 04 Décembre 2017

Hotel overall is in a good location for getting to many tourist destinations, shops and restaurants. Small but nicely decorated. Double bedroom rather on the small side. Limited hanging space and no drawers to put anything in. The shower room was very small and although it was modern because it was all black tiles it was very dark and the lighting did not help.Hot water ok in shower but not in the hand basin. The room was fitted with double glazed units but this did not stop the noise during the night from the nearby main road. The TV's remote would not turn the TV on and off so had to use the plug to do this. The coffee machine was noisy when in use. The staff were extremely helpful, polite and friendly.

"Great location but needs repairs"
karemed, 20 Août 2017

Pros: Good location with ability to walk many places or take public transportation. Rooms good size for Europe. Renovated in 2012. Ariana at the front desk during the days was very helpful with everything, gave directions and advice when asked. Cons: They do not let you check in before 2 PM. We got there at 8 AM after a transatlantic flight and there was no flexibility with check in and at 3 PM one of our two rooms was still not available. Elevator is VERY loud. There are only 6 rooms on each floor so you cannot get away from the noise. The elevator was totally inoperable for almost 24 hours. The front desk clerks say the elevator is always like this and isn't likely to change. Had to walk up 5 flights of stairs. Breakfast is pricey at 5 euros for coffee and danish or 12 euros for eggs, breads, coffee and juice. The gal working the kitchen was not happy any of the 3 days we were there. She was grumpy, slamming plates and overall did not seem like she wanted to be there. Made it unpleasant for the guests.

"Birthday break 3 nights"
Stephen E, 21 Mai 2017

Super little hotel, small rooms but very clean and modern. Location is great and not far from metro which is easy to get around. Loads of lovely eating places near by. All in all we would use this hotel again 5/5

"Good value "
63justink, 17 Mai 2017

Location is good and staffs are very helpful. They called a airport shuttle for me in a very short notice and they are really trying to help. Really appreciate that. The room is very clean but a little bit tiny.

"Quaint, boutique hotel near Opera area"
Huda A, 14 Février 2017

Hotel was perfect for my solo weekend trip from the States. The single room is very small as expected but perfect for solo traveler. I took the Orly Paris bus from De Gualle airport (11 euros ) and then a 4 minut cab ride to the hotel ( hard to find walking the first time ). I walked to the louvre, and Eiffel Tower and it's in the shopping district ( galleria Lafayette) . This hotel is in a touristy area so you will find pizza, Starbucks , fast food joint if that is what you fancy ! The hotel is also very close to the metro. Overall! Very satisfied with mt visit and the front desk were extremely helpful.

"Very nice"
Pasquale G, 02 Janvier 2017

I was for new y era and i couldn't chiose better Great for price and location near to the Metro at the Gran Boulevard where there is a wide choice of pub bers Mc Donald and Har Rock Cafè very nice clan rooms, great staff congratulation

"Good location, very small rooms, poor service"
ReneeGee, 29 Décembre 2016

The location of this hotel is great but they could use a refresher on how to speak to customers to make them feel valued at this property. The rooms are incredibly small (even for European standards). We stayed as a couple and could barely move around the room. In the future, I would spend a little extra and stay elsewhere.

"Good hotel"
paulU8393XS, 22 Octobre 2016

Recently renovated hotel in a traditional Parisian Street. Area is bustling with plenty of nearby cafe bars and a few minutes walk to the nearest metro stations. Room was clean except that the carpet could have done with a shampoo (wet shoes and spilt coffee). Spotless modern bathroom with large shower cubicle. Don't bother with breakfast use the local brasseries instead and watch the world go by.

"Nice Hotel, good breakfast, rooms face right to busy street"
Kai P, 20 Septembre 2016

We stayed in this hotel 3 night, i booked online two days in advance and got a last-minute deal (280€). The room was quite small and so was the bathroom, but as i could see on the emergency exit plan the other rooms are bigger. Everything was very tidy and clean, the beds are not to soft but very comfy. They provide you with only one big (2mx2m) blanket. The WiFi is free to use after registration and fast enough to stream a movie. Our room was equipped with a Nespresso machine (there was no skimmed milk on the room), a TV, aircondition and a powerful Hairdryer. There are three different metro lines you can reach by foot (approx. 400m), there is no car park at the hotel. If you open the windows it is very noisy, so keep them closed and make use of the AC. The breakfast is not included in the standard price. The products are of good quality but i was a disappointed that there is only a Nespresso machine for making coffee. Also the fruits could have been more ripe. What we really disliked about the breakfast buffet was that the lady running it was not fast enough refilling it even when there where only 3 tables occupied. I can not think of one time that there was everything provided at the buffet and one time they even ran out of bread for at least 20 minutes and had to buy more (to be clear they had no baguette, no dark bread, no croissants and not even toast left, at the same TIME). The staff at the reception was very friendly and willingly to help. All in all i would stay again but would not be willing to pay much more for this experience.

"Good location"
JobozLeicester, 10 Septembre 2016

Very nice and comfortable hotel. Excellent Receptionist and staff. Double beds fairly small. Large wet room. There was no bath. Every where was clean. Surrounded by some nice restaurants and the metro was about 5 mins away. My only slight criticism would be that there was always a slight delay in the replenishment of the breakfast. The breakfast was €12 per person and consisted of bread croissants coffee tea meat and cheeses and freshly boiled eggs. I would say it was fairly good value but you could get coffee croissants and orange juice across the road for €6. I would stay again.

"Great neighborhood away from tourists"
Justin E, 20 Août 2016

We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed the hotel. It was quiet and very comfortable. We had a small room on the 7th floor. It was really comfortable, and the hotel staff was so helpful. the neighborhood is more residential which made walking around in the days and nights great. Plentiful options for food, restaurants and supermarkets, which made it easy to eat great food, or grab some cheap snacks while touring the city. The room was very modern, and since you spend most of your day in the city you don't need much space. Well, at least we didn't. You won't regret staying here.

"The price was good."
Deniz Y, 01 Juillet 2016

Location: Not good at all. Very loud and not very safe at night. Drunks were singing outside at 4-5 AM and woke us up. 5-6 minutes walk to metro, nice area at sunlight. Staff: Good enough. Rooms: Size was OK, but the rooms were dirty. The carpets and the bathroom floor had stains and dirt. (we didn't bother calling reception as it was a one night stay) The bed wasn't comfortable at all. We had asked for two twin beds but instead got a king bed. And not a big one. Breakfast: Nice taste but limited in choice. 12 Euros per person. Price: It was quite cheap for Paris. Overall: Would recommend for budget travellers. Otherwise, avoid.

"Great Location - Charming Neighborhood"
Eric M, 30 Juin 2016

This small hotel was well fitted out, the staff was efficient, helpful, and courteous, and the eclectic neighborhood was charming. Located in the Druout auction area near the Garnier Opera and Folies Bergere with convenient metro stations at Grands Boulevards and Druout this hotel was an excellent choice for exploring Paris. The neighborhood felt safe at all hours. There were many interesting restaurants of all levels. A covered passageway with diverse shops and eateries leading to the Grands Boulevards metro stop was a welcome discovery. I would definitely use the BW Opera Hotel Druout again.

"Great location, comfy beds"
Ficie, 20 Juin 2016

An unpretentious, nice hotel in a great location. The area has many restaurants and cafés, and is very close to three different metro stations. Two lovely passages run close to the hotel (do not miss Passage Jouffroy with its lovely salon de the!) The staff was attentive and polite. The rooms are very compact (no wardrobe, little space) but functional. The mattress was extremely comfy, we slept very well. The bathroom is small but nice, with a good shower. A great hotel to use as a base to explore the city.

"Good hotel!"
157henriks, 19 Juin 2016

Very nice and helpful staff! I really liked the Nespresso machine in the room. Breakfast was OK, but not more. Quite simple. We got to change to a larger room without extra cost. Very nicely done, thanks.

"Very nice and cozy"
Jesús B, 16 Juin 2016

Smalls rooms but very nice, clean, cozy and beautiful decorated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bed is very comfortable, a little small but good enough to have a nice sleep with your couple. The hotel is close to the metro and close to a lot of good restaurants, places to eat and supermarkets. There is a bar near so is a little noisy at night.

"Disgusting hotel!"
AlexeyBorin, 07 Juin 2016

Opposite the hotel were the construction work: The Hammer-machine created a terrible noise! And the work began in the morning. Rooms at the hotel - it's the size of the bed + 15 cm around. We lived on the top floor - ceiling height was such that at my height 185 cm, I could not always stand tall. Staff at the reception - this is jnly one person who does not always speak English. We asked when entering the hotel's general manager, and so we were told to come soon, we waited 40 minutes, it did not come. As a result, I was with my pregnant wife lived like at the construction site during our stay in Paris.

"First time in Paris"
Florentina I, 06 Juin 2016

Very nice hotel close to the Grand Boulevard metro station and lots of coffee shops, créperies and restaurants. The room was small but clean and cozy. I LOVED the Nespresso machine in the room. There is no fridge, but you don't really need one. The wifi is in-and-out in the room, but good in the lobby. The breakfast (paid) was very good. Croissant, cheese, fruits (I like the yogurt). The staff were very friendly and they gave us lots of information about transportations and places to see. If we have the opportunity, we will return with pleasure.

"ROBAN NO VAYAN! THEY STEEL FROM THE ROOM DON'T GO!"
CarolinaBUE, 29 Mai 2016

Robaron de la caja de seguridad cámara de fotos, tablet y muchas cosas de valor. No se hacen cargo! No vayan! They stole from the security box tablet and many things of great value and didn't do nothing to fix the situation. Don't go!!!

"Friendly and helpful staff"
bjrnrbn, 25 Avril 2016

Recently stayed a couple of nights at the hotel and found it to be very nice for the price. The staff is super friendly and helped us with everything we needed. The rooms are small and lack a couple of things like a fridge and a closet but we thought it was big enough for us. From what I heard from other people in our group, the rooms differ a bit in the layout so ask the hotel in advance if there are some features that you must have like a combined wc - shower room. Our room was on the first floor and there was a bit of noise in the morning from the street but that is only to be expected when staying in the city. The hotel is located just off a big boulevard and has a lot of resturants , supermarkets and shops in close vincinity.

"Provides Great service"
Ratul D, 21 Avril 2016

Last month we went on a family vacation in paris and there we stayed in hotel opera drouot as Eiffel tower is close enough from hotel opera drouot. Food was on average, rooms are well decorated. Overall staying in hotel opera drouot was a good experience. Total utilization of your money staying there. So go for it

"Happily recommend to others"
Jamie M, 07 Février 2016

Centrally located, it was a short walk from the Roissybus and a number of the outlying attractions. Good transport links with a great mix of restaurants. Room was very clean, tidy and modern, staff were attentive, particularly the cleaning staff. Would gladly recommend and would stay here again if returning to Paris.

"Nightmare Drouot"
Patuna B, 31 Janvier 2016

Two weeks prior to this stay my wife stayed at this hotel. Staff hung up on me when I called to check on my wife's arrival at 3 A.M. Staff continued to pick up the phone and immediately hang up another 8 or so times. I wrote a letter to the manager which went unanswered. Two weeks later we stayed there for a week. The receptionist was cold, impatient, and unwelcoming. This time we had 2 pillows for three people. I called reception and they said they could provide no extra pillows. I called back to reception to double check and the staff hung up the phone on my call. So I slept without a pillow the first night. Cleaning lady came in and immediately started exclaiming to my wife how dirty the room was. There were no complimentary shower shoes or robes. When I called to the receptionist for anything such as an extra tiny shampoo bottle I had to go to reception to get it as they would not bring it to the room. Also the INTERNET connectivity was spotty at best. When I went to speak to the manager she acted as if she was doing me a favor by talking with me. She confirmed she had received my letter from the first stay and said she passed it to her assistant to answer. She asked me if her assistant had answered and I informed her no and she acted a bit surprised. She said she could not understand why the staff did not provide me pillows as they had 10 empty rooms and plenty of pillows and she acted a bit surprised. Really quit remarkable the two times we stayed at this hotel. The first time my wife stayed alone at this hotel; the second time me, my wife and daughter. This was my 2nd worst hotel stay of my 55 year life and I am a world traveler. I am probably leaving out a few things but this is off the top of my head.

"Great Room in a great area"
juniorsui, 25 Janvier 2016

Lovely hotel and room near the metro and some great restaurants. Room clean and spacious (family room). Only cons are the lack of closet space and the frankly rude receptionists (only one made up for the rest). On arrival we were kept waiting for 20 minutes while she conducted a long phone call and then decided to serve the man behind us first. Refused to make us a second key.. First they blamed the machine and then the first receptionist just refused to do it.

"Solo traveller"
diannedr3, 08 Janvier 2016

I booked into this hotel after I had completed a WWI Battlefield tour of France and Belguim - my stay was for 4 nights. My room was very nice with modern features, staff were friendly and helpful. The location is very central to the highlights of Paris. I loved the Nespresso machine in my room.

"Excellent small hotel in Opera area"
Crodenator, 22 Décembre 2015

We really enjoyed the three nights we spent here, the location is very good with easy walking access from the Roissybus in Opera and the Grand Boulevards Metro. The staff are friendly and helpful and the cleaning staff have very high standards. The rooms are slightly quirky as it's an old building which has been redeveloped using imagination and quality materials. The bed is very comfy, shower is great and considering it's in the middle of a big city- it is quiet enough to sleep in till gone 9 am! If you are looking for a well placed, mid range hotel I doubt this place will disappoint- oh and try the Saotico restaurant close-by- well worth a visit.

"Lovely hotel"
MR_birmingham_UK, 05 Décembre 2015

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in late November 2015. Upon arrival we were greeted with a big smile and great customer service. Our room was quite small yet very pleasant and well presented. The room was clean and serviced to a high standard. Hotel's location is very convenient and close to metro station and major attractions. We would definitely consider staying there again.

"4 night stay, very good location"
Katariina-87, 20 Novembre 2015

Stayed for 4 nights, two adults and infant. Room was clean ja comfortable. Elevator was working. Just enough space for small baby carriages. Good location, no traffic sounds to the room, cleaning happend everyday but they changed bedlines only ones during our stay. View from room was poor, but it didn't bother us. Good value for your money, near metro.

"Elevator out of order"
Capgras, 03 Novembre 2015

Elevator is out of order and they did not manage to fix it. Had to climb 8 floors to get to my room. Stairs are small and cramped. Hotel staff told me at the beginning of stay that they waited for the elevator to be fixed same day. Later on they said that it would take long time to fix it.

"Avoid if you are a light sleeper"
Heinrich76, 21 Octobre 2015

I actually liked this hotel except that the trash collection activities started very early in the morning like 6am. My sleep was disturbed. Room was great and clean and it offered more than enough space for me. The bathroom was also good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall good value for money as a 3-star hotel

"Good value for Paris"
FrankandJane_30, 15 Septembre 2015

Stayed here for a weekend. Hotel is a short walk from 2 metro stations. It is located on a side street in an antique dealer area, which makes for interesting browsing. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes in the vicinity with the majority on a street within 50 yards. Some very nice French restaurants and cafes nearby but if you need fast food there is a mcD, chipotle and Starbucks near the metro. Room was smallish but modern, clean and comfortable. We were on the 5th facing the Main Street so we slept with the windows open. Bathroom is non traditional with toilet in separate room, sink in main room with shower off to the side. Clean and compact.

"Clean and cozy"
garcia1007, 15 Août 2015

The location was great..Good hotel with comfi bed , clean, cozy, but not really spacious..very close to the metro, Walking distance to Galleries Lafayette and very near to restaurants..Japanese, chinese, italian and other cuisines..Afffordable rates, with wifi. The frontdesk staffs are friendly too..would love to comeback here soon..

"Great place to stay in PARIS!"
Maeviiee, 10 Août 2015

This hotel was perfect and exactly what I was after on my recent trip to Paris, it was close to the metro and close to restaurants, supermarket and pubs. Ideal when you've been on your feet all day around Paris seeing the sights and just want to chill out a short distance from where you're staying - highly recommend, friendly staff too - very accommodating. Downside - the room was tiny (as to be expected in Paris) and the door was unlocked after cleaners had been in and we returned - so best to keep valuables with you/in your safe etc.. should this happen to you!

"Very good choice."
Dimamourtada, 20 Juillet 2015

Good Hotel and great location. The metro station is 5 minutes walking from the hotel. So many "cafés" ,stores and supermarket( Monoprix)near the hotel. You need 2 minutes walking to arrive to "Musee Grevin" wich is a very interesting museum. The room was small, but clean with Ac and wifi with good connection. The breakfast was great and the staff very friendly.I really recommand this hotel if you decide to visit Paris.Very good choice

"Air conditioned Paris hotel that offers triple rooms not too far from the Louvre"
Karin B, 13 Juillet 2015

Thank goodness for air conditioning! We stayed in this hotel when the temperatures hit 39 C in Paris in July. The room (one double bed and one single) was compact but nicely renovated with a bathroom and shower. There was free Wifi but the connections were sometimes a bit spotty. We certainly appreciated that there were lots of outlets for our electronic devices. We paid for some of the breakfasts and there was a nice variety of offerings but go for the hard boiled eggs and not the scrambled eggs which seemed rather runny. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The streets were often noisy at night, sometimes because of deliveries and renovations, but it's Paris, so this is not unexpected in a big city. Close to a grocery store (Monop) and restaurants.

"A Good Value but a very SMALL Room"
Dale M, 12 Mai 2015

This hotel is very nice except the rooms are extremely small. The bed was extra-extra firm. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. There are numerous eating places as well as two Metro stops within a short walk.

"Great hotel in a great neighborhood"
Ioana S, 10 Mai 2015

I recommend the largest rooms - the triple - very comfy. The staff is great and the breakfast is wonderful fuel for a long day of sight seeing. We had a great stay. The location is very convenient near two metro stations.
