"Best Western Latian Quartier Paris"
Journey00655066832, 31 Mars 2024

Clean neat room. This room is large for a Paris hotel! Staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was good and very European in nature. The location was very safe with various shops and Metro nearby. Would stay again without question! Overall had a very nice stay. Only bad thing was the door card readers for my room was hit or miss. The staff was working this issue. I have get my door card remade a few times. No big deal. Great hotel.

"GREAT LOCATION AND GOOD ROOMS"
Diana A, 28 Mars 2024

QUARTIER LATIN HAS BECOME ONE OF MY FAVOURITE AREAS IN PARIS. IT IS FULL OF LOVELY CAFES , RESTAURANTES, BAKERIES AND IT IS VERY PICTURESQUE. THE HOTEL IS MODERN, CLEAN AND CLOSE TO A METRO STATION. WE THOUGHT THE ROOM WAS SPACIOUS ( EUROPEAN STANDARDS) AND VERY COMFORTABLE.

"Really pleasant hotel to visit - great location"
151JTTraveller, 23 Novembre 2023

Apprehensive after reading some reviews but can't talk highly enough of our stay. Hôtel clean and pleasant and a decent enough standard. Arrived after 10pm but were met with a smile and helped to check in. Rooms a decent size and nice bathroom and really good shower. Great location also, close enough to Notre Dame but if don't fancy the 10 minute walk there's a metro stop more or less next door. Location was brilliant - really close to Pantheon and lots of bars and restaurants in Latin Quartier with happy hours a bonus. All in all - a great stay.

"Great Hotel"
abbycirella, 04 Octobre 2023

We stayed here for one night at the start of our trip. I chose it because they had king size beds, decent sized rooms and were in the Latin Quarter near the rest of our group. The location was perfect for us and such an easy walk to sights. We didn't access the metro from this hotel, but there's a taxi stand and a metro stop very close. This hotel was on par with mid-tier hotels in the US.

"Management needs to respond to these reviews. Front desk men are rude."
bgr7777777, 25 Septembre 2023

This hotel is okay and I am being kind for only one reason. But, the front desk men where rude. I ask for extra towels and a sheet and was told no. You have two sets of towels. Laura is outstanding and housekeeping too!

"Fantastic!"
Michelle W, 16 Septembre 2023

This hotel is amazing! Laura and Gutierre were so kind and helpful. Normal European room. Close to metro station. Wonderful restaurants nearby..St Victor's was one of our favorites! Grocery store..Franprix is a couple of blocks away for extra water and snacks. Thank you!

"Never stay here"
vinnysitkauskasjr, 07 Septembre 2023

Stay far far away . This place is terrible , we checked in and within 45 min checked out , the book in the room says to leave your room key at desk when you leave for the day and to take all valuables with you , I have never seen or heard of this in my life . Saw few reviews recently of robbery's at the hotel and this is probably how. The room had a very strong mold smell . They offered no refund since it's a non refundable room but they were not holding up their end of the deal . They called us the next day to speak about incident and left a voicemail and we called them back and the person said they had no idea what we were talking about and was rude on the phone . Will never ever ever stay here again , not that we really stayed there once since left after 45 min.

"Room Break-In"
Greg H, 14 Août 2023

On the evening of 20 June 2023, I entered my room and was alarmed to find a man inside in the darkened room. He quickly pushed past me and though I chased him while yelling “thief,” he was able to run past the reception desk and out of the hotel. He ran south down the block and was soon lost in the crowds. I returned to my room to find Euros and US dollars missing. While relieved that no identification or credit cards were taken, I am very concerned with how he was able to break into my room. I was on a group reservation, and another member of our group saw the man earlier attempting to open another room. He acted as if he had accidentally tried to enter an incorrect room. He displayed a plastic card which looked like a hotel key to my friend. The desk clerk at the time of the incident appeared completely unconcerned about the commotion in his hotel and refused to call the police for me. He instead contended that it was impossible for someone to gain entry to my room. The thief took time to remove money and return purses back to their bags, so there is the possibility that other guests are being robbed and not knowing it until later. I contacted Best Western after returning home, but have yet to hear anything from the hotel manager. I do want to note that there are some very fine employees who work at the desk. It was only the one working that night that was unhelpful.

"Close to Notre Dame but is still a good walk. "
Wendell_Wiggins, 23 Juillet 2023

Medium sized rooms. Air conditioning sucked. The elevator to the first floor is only big enough for two people with no luggage. They have no ice or mini fridge in the rooms. I was told to walk up the street a block to the pharmacy for ice since I needed to refrigerate my medications. I ultimately went to a closer grocery store and bought bags of ice and place medicines in a sink and covered with ice, which did not last long. In the bathroom, there were no washcloths, which seems to be a common European thing. $14 Euro for breakfast which was finger foods. Trash cans (20 were very small. I could maybe fit a Coke bottle and a Coke can in each before they were full. I kept hearing loud booming music between 930 and 10 pm. In the bathroom, the hairdryer kept overheating and shutting off. The power sockets would also blow. All television channels were in French. They advertised coffee pods for the machine, but none were present. They did store luggage as we arrived a few hours early.

"Decent hotel "
Sam F, 12 Juillet 2023

The hotel was reasonable decent price room was a bit small but did the job. Everything was clean and staff were decent enough. The elevator was either very unreliable to the point we thought we were going to get stuck, or it was out of service. Other than that can't really complain room was clean and decent, location wise the hotel was fairly fair out from main tourist attractions but the Latin quarter it's located in was still lovely

"Stay At Your Own Risk. Thief in 2 Guest Rooms in the Same Week."
grandfisch, 20 Juin 2023

While sipping wine and visiting in the seating area in the lobby our friend, G, decided to go to his room to retrieve something. He walked in on a thief, who he chased down the stairs all the while yelling at the top of his lungs, “Stop! Thief!” They ran right passed the desk clerk, out the door and down the street. The desk clerk didn't bat an eye, saying it was “impossible” for anyone to get into their room without a key. Turns out another friend on the same floor had seen the man at G's door. Knowing he'd been caught, the made some excuse about being at the “wrong room” and left (apparently only briefly). So, the thief had a key, was most likely an employee — or in cahoots with the desk clerk. Oh, and several days before, on the day of our arrival, a couple checking out was talking with the day clerk about the glass still left in their room from someone breaking in through their window. Nice location. Nice breakfast. Great A/C. Stay at your own risk.

"Nice Hotel"
FrequentFlier513391, 09 Avril 2023

nice hotel but the receptionist are not professional at all!!!! I paid 15% more without any reason! Or better they didn't advice me at all! I had a little larger room but I thought it was for free…. I didn't ask for it!!!

"A perfect stay"
NFandDB, 09 Mars 2023

The BW Quartier Latin is perfect. I am both a Parisian and a Bostonian and this is a spot to rest in the City of Lights and Love that completes any visit. The hotel is perfectly located and is updated without losing the charm that one feels while walking the streets of Paris. I cannot address their breakfast as I tend to find my breakfast during a morning walk. If you wish to stay here, do not hesitate to book as this hotel fills quickly. Also, if an American, do not turn up your nose at the BW brand. This hotel is a BW but is nothing like what one would find in the US with this marque. For me, this is my first GO to spot when wishing to stay in the city center.

ShonaD226, 01 Mars 2023

A great wee hotel, in a lovely location. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy transfer from the Airport on RER line B. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants in the surrounding area. Room clean, bed very comfortable. and great pressure on the shower.

"Perfect location"
Francois D, 16 Janvier 2023

Perfectly located in the heart of the Latin Quarter. Lots of places to visit and great restaurants walking distance Very easy, safe and convenient for families with teenagers. We had Cody rooms on the higher floors. Clean rooms and nice staff.

"Family adventure in Paris."
979gwilson, 11 Décembre 2022

After waiting many years to do this trip to Paris if finally happened, the location was excellent and were able to walk to many locations.Along the streets you discovered things you wouldn't have seen if you took a train or car. Will be back when Notre Dame is rebuilt.

"Nice room. But be warned."
Explore38718739242, 05 Décembre 2022

Nice room. HOWEVER, we will not book again because: 1- there was no heater in the room. It stopped working halfway through our stay. We stayed six nights. 2- NO HOT WATER. For several days we couldn't shower. It was winter…no way we could shower with cold water. 3- Lift broke. We had to climb so many stairs up after a full day of walking and exploring the city. This was the entire building by the way..wasn't just our room. They gave us one day free breakfast which frankly didn't commensurate to the inconvenience this hotel had caused us. We did get a bit of refund, which made it ok. Nevertheless, we will not choose to stay here again.

G2983RTthomasc, 28 Novembre 2022

Renovated hotel, room small but enough for a couple. Modern furnishings and bathroom. Cleaned daily if requested. Comfortable bed was fairly large. Maid service was good. Shag rug seemed hard to keep clean. Quiet residential area. Noise level not a problem. Coffee/ bakery across the street. Reasonable hotel breakfast option as well as other eateries. Metro 1 block away with escalator. Restaurant row street north and south of Place de la Contrescarpe. Walking distance to Pantheon, tourist Latin Quarter area, Luxembourg Gardens, Notre Dame. Easy Metro ride to other major sites. Ecoles Cinema Club movie theatre shows French, American and international films.

"Always Paris"
suelundgren56, 15 Juin 2022

I would not consider staying anywhere else in Paris. I love the location and the staff. I have stayed at this hotel at least 6 if not 7 times. It was my first choice when taking my daughter for the first time. We stayed a total of 11 days on our last stay.

"Toilets"
markhN5943MF, 28 Mai 2022

Voter toilettes sont super. Thanks for letting us use, perhaps reluctantly. The area around the hotel is great for cafes and restaurants. Perfect place to eat and drink and not too far to walk back to the Latin quarter

"Mold in hotel room on towels, bed, pillowcase, and toilet paper."
Hanna L, 23 Mai 2022

We began our stay here a few days ago and our hotel room was cute and had a good view. We took a shower and immediately after noticed a musty stench in our room that was moldy and smelled strongly. We then left our room for dinner and came back two hours later and the smell was even worse. When we arrived back we noticed brown, black, and pink stains on our towels as well as on our bed sheets where my sister had sat with her wet towel. We realized it was mold due to the bad smell in the room. The mold then continued to grow on our toilet paper, hair clumps on the ground, face towels, body towels, and sheets. My sister and I had both been drinking the sink water and both experienced 15 minutes of stomach pain and nausea after drinking the water. We told the front desk worker and she told us it was because our shower was too humid and she disregarded our concern. She brought us new towels and sheets but within two hours, mold had already begun to grow on it. The next day we decided to move rooms to the downstairs room next to the receptionist desk. It smelled better and was clean. However, as I was about to go to bed, I saw many black spots of mold were already on my sleeping pillow, which I was about to put my head on for the next 8 hours. We noticed mold growing on the towels again. We only had two nights left and decided to stick it out. This hotel defineitly has a mold problem which has been neglected for some time considering I found reviews from over 5 years ago stating the same concerns. We were given no compensation for this and it was quite disgusting to be cautious of mold on your face towel every morning. In addition, the hotel breakfast, which was $15, had barely any options and felt like dining hall food. I recommend going to a cute café for the same price!

"Great Customer Service"
792andreah, 07 Avril 2022

I found all of the staff here fantastic. The morning staff person called a taxi for me, then brought me coffee and croissants as I waited for it. The room was small, but nice and clean, the bed comfy. Great neighborhood, a bit more residential than touristy, so there are plenty of small restaurants, shops (cheese, charcuterie, boulangerie) all near by. I had a wonderful walk to the Musee de Orsay and fabulous restaurants. I ended up leaving some clothes behind, they actually had the clothes and offered to send them to me in the United States. Soooo nice and unexpected.

"The worst hotel I've ever stayed at"
J_M_W84_10038, 21 Mars 2022

I travel for work mostly but I'm on this trip for fun. On average I spend more time in hotels than I do at home. I say this to impress upon you how normal it is for me to be in a hotel. All that said, the WORST hotel experience I've ever had by a lot. The nighttime door person is only ever sleeping. So much that you can't get into the hotel at night? When I asked him about that he said “I can sleep whenever I want.” Oh… and then he threatened to fight me because I said I was going to report him. My room key gets demagnetized basically every time you look at it, so I've spent a ton of time getting new room keys, and the truly crap aforementioned nighttime person has made that such a process as well. The hotel itself is fine, but it's important that your accommodations aren't a stressor when you're so far from home, and unfortunately this isn't the case here.

"Great weekend"
xenastina2, 21 Décembre 2021

Very pleased with this weekend. Had a great time. Great value for the money. Wonderful neighbourhood. Breakfast was ok but a bit small for the money. No coffe avaible accept from in in the breakfast. That is a big minus. It should be free in the room or in the lobby all day!!! Very stingy with toilet paper... you should not need to ask for it. The bathroom had a glass wall and door. It was frosted but you can see and hear everything. No privacy. That felt very strange and you should know this before. Advice is that you can put on the tv loud.

"always my first choice in Paris"
Sue L, 14 Décembre 2021

The staff is always helpful. The location is perfect. If you want the feeling of Paris and close to the Metro you can't do much better. I have stayed here 3 times and will be back. I would ask for a room with a view.

"Great location but too expensive + dark room"
nata96srb, 25 Octobre 2021

The location is perfect, it's so easy to walk everywhere and the Metro station is a 2 minute walk away. However, despite booking a city view room, we got a room with a view of the inside of the hotel. The room was always dark and got no sunlight whatsoever so not pleasant at all. For the price, it is clean (standard Best Western really) and of course in a good part of Paris, but I wouldn't book again if returning to Paris.

"Good and convenient in 5th quarter"
Idan B, 17 Octobre 2021

Stayed at this BW and found this accommodation both economical and convenient, at the heart of the 5th quarter. Staff and check in/out very efficient, room is clean with basic amenities. Near Metro/bus

"Quartier Latin Pantheon"
JosefFFM, 16 Octobre 2021

Excellent price per value, great staff, amazing location. Especially enjoyed the free french language courses on the reception! :) Clean rooms, nice beds, breakfast also fine. Don't forget, It's not a five star luxury hotel! Love it. See you guys next time again!

"No luxury to be expected, but prices are honest and location very good."
TheReliant1000, 17 Janvier 2021

An affordable hotel well located in Paris although I believe there is not a bad location in this fantastic city. As everywhere in town, you are within walking distance from good restaurants, cafes and - of course - patisseries to make your journey sweeter. It is a regular Best Western, no luxury to be expected, but prices are honest and breakfast was not bad. Staff is reduced, but the concierge did his best to give me some directions in English. There's always a subway station nearby to take you everywhere else. Exiting the hotel take a right and walk a few minutes upstream to visit Arenes de Lutece, a park that 2.000 years ago was a roman amphitheater. Fantastic! PS: my stay was in Sep-2019.

"Not the best"
Nicoleta A, 28 Février 2020

I was really dissappointed to see that the room we stayed was full of mold at the windows and on the roof of the bathroom.. and one of the towels was not even clean... for a 3-star hotel I don't think this is acceptable for the price we paid. On the other hand, breakfast was ok and metro is very close so easily accessible

"Rugby weekend "
Jeff220, 04 Février 2020

This hotel is fairly central has a metro near by where you con get almost anywhere. The hotel is a little on the small size and the breakfast room was not big enough but plenty of bakeries near by ; the rooms were clean only complaint would be no breakfast tea and tight with the milk but on the whole it does its job

"Great stay in a nice area just outside of town"
Lucy H, 27 Janvier 2020

The hotel is about 15 minutes walk to the Notre Dame then you're straight over the river to the Louvre, etc. We did not struggle to get about from the location of the hotel and liked the easy route to the Notre Dame. If you want to be in the centre of the attractions, stay on the other side of the river. The hotel is easy to find, clean, friendly staff, spacious rooms, fast check in/out. No complaints. Lots of bars, patisseries nearby with one across the road and opposite selling pastries, cookies and macarons - to die for!

"Nice room with poor service"
Emery_Zhang, 18 Janvier 2020

My boyfriend and I stayed there for a week after New Year. When we checked in, the guy at the reception desk kept chatting with my boyfriend in French without asking for any info to find out our reservation. After we got the key, he went on chatting... We tried to signal him that we want to go but he didn't pick up any. On another night when we came back, I didn't notice the front door was closed and I need to signal staff inside to open, so I just pushed hard as usual. Then I got a pretty hostile looking from another guy at the reception desk... And I even said sorry cos I felt a bit scared like I offended him somehow... Then another morning, someone knocked on the door once at 8:30 and then quickly opened the door while we were in bed... The knock only woke me up and I was just thinking if I heard it right cos the walls are really thin. So we shouted no and the door was closed... I was gonna chase the person down cos it's my instinctive reaction. It's really uncomfortable. After that I put the chair behind the door every night cos it can block the door from opening. I also told a third guy at the reception angrily and of course he didn't even write down our room number. I asked if he needs to write down anything and he said no. The only other thing he said is I'll take care of it. I don't even want to talk to anyone in that hotel afterwards... BTW the breakfast is awful. Can totally pay the same price somewhere else for a better one. I don't recommend this place at all. One more thing the toilet seat is tilted.

"Clean and quiet"
nativeprincess35, 06 Janvier 2020

Got to the hotel before check in and my room wasn't ready yet. I was able to use a bathroom to clean up and change (just came in off a total travel time flight of 12 hrs). I went and did some site seeing before returning in mid afternoon to check in. Room was clean with a cute Juliette balcony overlooking the street. New modern rooms and a nice bathroom. The TV didn't work, but I had my IPAD with me to watch Netflix, so it was fine.

"Review"
lynkaranda, 13 Décembre 2019

This hotel i dont know how it got 4star let alone 3 star as it was very undeserving. The room was mouldy, foisty not exactly ideal for someone who has repsiratory problems. the noise from the street and people having a wounderful night kept us awake. The room walls were padded there was no headboard well there was their own version of it. The room was not relaxing at all. We did not get our money's worth.

"PERFECT Except...."
TravelAgentDiary, 12 Décembre 2019

This hotel is in the perfect location, a close walk to many restaurants, patisseries, and boulangeries. Lots of friendly front desk receptionists (I feel like there was a different person every time we walked by but they were all nice). The room was small but what we expected knowing that we were in Paris. The only fault I really had, which was a big problem for me, was the freezing cold bathroom. There is a window that opens where you can go onto the balcony, which is great and how I was able to snap some photos on the balcony. But even with the window completely shut it was drafty. Not comfortable when it's time to shower. We did use the towel heater so that helped a little after showering. But going to the bathroom was miserable because the seat was so cold. Other than the cold bathroom, I really couldn't fault this hotel. Also, there's a great restaurant within walking distance called Le Bistrot Du Marché. Very tasty!

"Clean, modern, great location "
wtutz, 08 Décembre 2019

One block from the place monge metro station, line 7...you could not ask for a better location. Rue moffitard is a two block walk and the are plenty of bistros, wine shops and boulangeries within a 2 minute walk. The hotel has been renovated with sleek, modern rooms and bathrooms. There is an elevator and the front desk is staffed 24 hrs. My only regret..and it's my fault..is that I did not have a street view, rather our room opened up to a dreary..but clean...air shaft. When making a reservation be sure to reserve a street view.

"Clean, cosy hotel in central Paris"
sterwi, 02 Novembre 2019

Good location in Paris. Cosy, comfortable room with decent breakfast. Rooms were small, but that is to be expected in central Paris. Personally, I would have preferred more privacy than frosted glass walls and doors can provide for the bathroom but it was alright for a short stay.

"Autumn, Pariss"
markovicsmarcsi, 29 Octobre 2019

++ Very small, but clean hotel. +++ Good location. Was perfect for us. +++ Nice, helpful staff. ++ Very very small room, but absolutely clean. +++ Fancy styled bathroom with shower. ++++ Towels, shower gel and shampoo as well, all day. ++++ Very comfortable bed!!! I slept very very good all night with my husband. --- Not working air conditioning at bathroom.. it was bad. -- Not so hard walls. We heard the neighbours from the next room sometimes. - Very small breakfast room - did not try it, after a quick check at arriving time.

"Great Hotel"
wario986, 22 Octobre 2019

There is no better feeling, while in a city you know you'll revisit countless times, than to know you've found your go-to hotel. The rooms are very clean and just right. Yes, they're on the small side, but rooms in big cities tend to be tiny. There is a wonderful boulangerie right across the street, with eclairs and financiers to die for - no exaggeration! In the heart of the Latin Quarter, this hotel is fairly close to all the main sights: Notre Dame, Conciergerie, and even the Louvre. I am so thrilled to have found my spot. I look forward to staying here again soon! Merci beaucoup!!

"Great rooms, tiny but what we expected"
Stuart71, 09 Octobre 2019

Easy check in process, very friendly staff. Rooms and all other facilities are very small but functional. Great back shoppe right outside the door for coffee and a croissant. Rooms are small but well equipped. Breakfast, continental for 9 euros and full breakfast was 13 euros seemed expensive for the lack of choice. A 20 minute walk to Norte dame cathedral.

"A nice hotel with a couple of issues "
smallmaninabigcity, 02 Octobre 2019

This is a very clean and today hotel with modern styling. I have two small issues; 1.) The room I was given was a large queen room by the front door, accessed by the side of reception. Expecting to hear lots of noise from the street I was surprised to be woken by noise from reception instead! Voices and guests can be heard all night and the reception staff weren't overly quiet!! Wouldn't recommend staying in this room!! 2.) The breakfast area is very very small and you end up ‘dancing' around other guests to try and get your food. Can't be avoided due to the breakfast room location but was too small for a large hotel.

"Lovely place "
seanbucknall, 12 Août 2019

Me and my partner stayed here for a short break in Paris and were very pleased. A few bars and cafes close by and very close to a bus stop and metro station so easy access to the central area of the city. The room was lovely, more than enough space as well as a spacious shower (no bath but neither of us use a bath often). Staff were friendly and helpful, my only issue was that our safety deposit box in the wardrobe seemed to be locked open, so that we could not close the door fully as the 2 deadbolts were engaged, and we couldn't move them without a code. We asked reception for help and they sent someone, who managed to open it with a key (slightly troubling), however they couldn't remove the key unless the bolts were in the ‘locked' position, so we were left with an unusable safe. We ended up carrying our money and passports around with us for the whole trip (5 days), not a major issue but would have been more ideal to keep them in a safe place. That being said I would definitely stay here again!

"Bestie Westie"
beezee23, 08 Juin 2019

First time in Paris. Booked this hotel using my AirMiles. Had read many reviews of other hotels saying they were small, old, etc. This one was perfect. Modern, clean, great area. Would definitely return.

"Typical small rooms, but clean."
bklynproud, 06 Juin 2019

The staff is friendly and speak English. The rooms are small like most in Europe, but very clean, the beds are comfortable. It's close enough to so many attractions it's reat for those that can walk a mile or so. We did the breakfast and there was enough to eat, especially if what you want to do is get started enjoying Paris. As a side note, the cost of it is worth it if you have more than 1 double espresso!!! Restaurants are near by.

"Avoid at all costs! Don't make the mistake of booking this hotel for your Paris trip."
Oliver B, 04 Juin 2019

The room we stayed in was on street level and incredibly loud, it felt like you were sleeping on the pavement with cars constantly running past your head. The hotel has paper thin walls and this room should NEVER have been a room in the first place. It is literally next to the reception desk (you don't even walk through the hotel to get to the room door!) and as result you can hear the receptionist pottering about outside your room all night, not to mention all the other guests talking in the lobby during the morning and the constant footfall of traffic outside the room. It was an absolutely terrible sleep every single night and an atrocious place to stick a room. Not private in the slightest. As all the windows are adjacent to the street you can't open the curtains when getting ready or the window for fresh air. It felt like a basement and offered terrible privacy. The member of staff we encountered on arrival was incredibly miserable as other guests have said in their review and we felt like we interrupted him. He was rude, unhelpful and dismissive - a great way to start your holiday. Don't run the risk of staying here and ending up in the street room. I would say that the other rooms are better but I'm sure the walls will be just as paper thin and the receptionist equally miserable. To charge the rate they did for such a room was not fair and incredibly expensive for what it was. There is so much choice in Paris you should avoid this hotel at all costs.

"Nice, simple hotel with good service"
rosss591, 16 Mai 2019

We stayed here for 3 nights in May. Really convenient location close to lots of bars and restaurants, and easy to get to all the major tourist attractions. The rooms are clean, big enough, and modern. The staff are nice, except Charles - he's awesome!! Great guy with a great sense of humour and made our stay that bit better :-)

"Great Location"
Coastal36791986189, 11 Mai 2019

We really enjoyed our stay. Close to restaurants, 2 mins from metro. Great bakery right next door with good coffee opens at 8 every morning. Nice Chinese just a few doors up on same side. Staff all very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay again.

"9 Days in Paris"
Voyage18460842473, 20 Mars 2019

The location was great. There were staff members that were less than polite but others that were so accommodating and great to work with. Housekeeping was exceptional. The internet was TERRIBLE!! There were times that we were able to connect while sitting in the lobby but that was the extent of internet for us. We did ask the front desk about it but were told that the music took up much of their bandwidth. Poor excuse in my opinion. Breakfast is overpriced. There is an exceptional bakery across the street. The Metro is close.

"Three stars was generous"
srslyicy, 10 Mars 2019

First the good- this hotel was clean and within walking distance of cafés and some attractions, as well as a metro station. The bad- service was extremely anemic. The front desk staff refused to provide 2 cards so it was difficult to go separate ways, especially given that the card is required to keep the lights on as well... the card also demagnetized at one point which resulted in complaining by the front desk staff. They also refused to call a taxi for us when we were leaving and were not knowledgeable about the city. They do provide a breakfast at a charge but you are much better off leaving and having something tasty for the same price. This hotel is fine but don't expect any extras. We won't stay there again.

"Nice rooms, bad service!"
Hanna M, 12 Février 2019

Nice hotel in a good location. Small, but clean rooms. I dont like to say anything bad about staff, I work as a receptionist myself, but the "service" we got from the night porter when we arrived was beyond bad! Right down hostile! No "hello", no "welcome, just an angry stare. The staff from cleaning and breakfast were very friendly however. And the rest of the frontoffice people we met were ok, but this really could be so much better with some customer training. Quite severe customer training that is. Breakfast was very small and nothing special.

"Authentic Parisian Neighborhood"
JasmineMarti, 20 Janvier 2019

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a week. It's in the heart of Quartier Latin and is within an authentic Parisian residential neighborhood. Hence, there are many boulangeries/bakeries, floral shops, patisseries, fruit stalls, and other stores that are catering to the local population, rather than tourists, and the vibe is different and authentic. Boulangerie Maison Gregoire right across the street is amazing, and has unbelievable croissants, breads (the torsade de grain is to die for), desert, including eclairs. Everything is made fresh every day and runs out towards the end of the day. So, you get a sense of the neighborhood. In terms of the location, Best Western Quartier Latin Pantheon it also quite central. Depending on your pace of walking, you could get to Notre Dame in 10-15 minutes. We walked to The Louvre and beyond quite easily, but, again, it depends on your ability and pace of walking. There are also two different Metro stops in close proximity of the hotel. We arrived very early in the morning, and a room was not available yet. In three hours, though, which was still well ahead of the official check-in time (the brunette woman helped, unfortunately, I do not recall her name), they got us into our room. The room was on the small side, but absolutely functional. It was very clean, as was the bathroom. The bathroom was quite spacious. Both the room and bathroom were newly refurbished. Small things could stand improvement. For instance, in the bathroom, the fancy sink was of the bowl shape, so you could not place a soap on it. The soap had to stay on the higher shelf, but there was no soap dish, so it would create a mess. The water pressure in the shower was great. Our room overlooked rue Monge, and we had a great view, which is something that my husband always insists on, and he was pleased, so was I. There is a small, yet very functional elevator in the hotel. Patrick at the front reception (he worked in the evening) was absolutely wonderful. There was a woman with blond hair, though, who seemed to take an anti-hospitality pill before showing up at the hotel. One day, it was raining, and I asked if I could borrow an umbrella, and she curtly informed me they did not have any. Within a minute, I asked a guy at the reception desk, and he simply got up and handed me an umbrella. The bed was very comfortable, the blackout curtains did the job. And while we overlooked the street, and were on the third floor (which is the fourth floor by US standards) we were never bothered by street noise. There is a safe in the room, which was of great convenience. There is a taxi stand within a few steps of the hotel. And we also used Uber. Note, though, that on a couple of occasions, we ended up paying far less for a taxi than Uber's quoted rate. A couple of years ago, though, Uber was consistently less expensive than a taxi in Paris. We did not use the breakfast option, as Maison Gregoire next door was amazing for coffee, hot chocolate, and croissants in the morning. It's a lovely hotel, and we had a great time here and really enjoyed our stay, and we are glad we stayed here, so happy to recommend it to others.

"Paris trip"
M E, 11 Janvier 2019

Great hotel with helpful staff. Rooms are small but comfortable. Located diagonally opposite a metro station which makes getting around Paris easy.Muslim visitors will find the Grand Mosque of Paris in nearby vicinty together with a few excellent Halaal eating establishments. Sightseeing by foot is possible for a few tourist sights close by the hotel and then catch the metro train to get to Louvre and other more distant tourist sights.

"Great Location for seeing the Latin Quartier"
PAR20132013, 11 Décembre 2018

This was our first visit to this part of Paris, the hotel had recently been refurbished. Overall it was clean and tidy, although the room was rather small, shower room and toilet were adjacent. The person on reception when we arrived, finished some filing/copying before attending to ourselves. This was not a good start, it did get better. It was a lot more positive on departure A room below ground floor level used as the breakfast area, was small and uninviting, although the staff were helpful There are a number of good eating establishments to choose from Hotel stays are more expensive in this part of Paris, than in some other areas. There are plenty of places to visit nearby on foot Parking is a challenge and it costs, we arrived mid to late afternoon and found a parking spot in the street directly opposite the hotel's main entrance, running uphill. This was fast learning curve, ask a local to check you're OK to park on particular spot. There are various meter zones on either side of the street, mostly not for visitors, this turned out to be expensive few hours parking. We enquired in the hotel as to where to park, as we understood that they did have some allocated space. This was in an underground car park some distance away on foot, pro-rota this was cheaper, at 36Euros for overnight parking.

"Great hotel, but customer service was lacking"
tsg23, 06 Décembre 2018

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary in Paris and we stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel itself was great! Central location to lots of restaurants and the metro. We actually walked to a lot of the attractions (Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and Arc de Triompe), but we're pretty active people. It's in a quiet area/neighborhood so it was peaceful at night- or we were just very tired from all the walking, haha! Either way, we slept great. I will say that the elevator is not for anyone who is claustrophobic. I think at the most it can fit 4 people. The hallways are also very narrow. The room itself was pretty small by American standards, but standard for Europe. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We also had a thermostat in the room, which we found out throughout the rest of our trip (to Italy and Spain) that is not always the case. Now onto the bad. When we checked in, there was no one at the desk so we rang the bell. After a couple of minutes the gentleman came down and seemed very flustered. He checked us and asked the purpose of our visit, to which I replied that it was our anniversary. He didn't even acknowledge it. Why ask if you don't care? He was the day attendant and we saw him every day of our trip and he was just not very friendly. The night attendant on Sunday was an older black gentleman who was fantastic! Very friendly and even helped us find a store late at night. He was great. Unfortunately he was only there that night. The other 2 nights we encountered a younger black gentleman who was just plain RUDE. I speak a little bit of french to get by, but I had a question that I didn't really know how to ask in french. When I approached the desk I asked the gentleman (in french) if he spoke english to which he replied (in french) 'I speak french.' I was taken aback and didn't really know what to say so he said (again in french) 'you're speaking french.' I told him I spoke a little bit of french and tried to piece together my question. I could see how annoyed he was, but I was just searching for the words. I was trying to ask him about the fees for phone calls from our room. He obviously didn't understand me because he huffed and said 'I speak english, what is your question?' I couldn't believe it. At that point I would've rather he keep pretending then to put me through all that to then tell me he speaks english. What a jerk! After all that, he didn't even answer my question. He said there was no flat rate, that it depends on the length of the call...which one would think means there is some set fee. I asked him for just a range at least, 2 euros or 20 euros? Nothing, he just kept saying there was no set fee. It was just an awful experience with him. It's sad that our only bad/rude experience with the French people was the staff at our hotel. Overall, we would definitely stay here again, but I just hope they have some new staff by then.

"VERY GOOD HOTEL - LATIN QUARTER"
angusbtp, 20 Octobre 2018

Let me start as I always do by saying you do not get a lot for your money in this City. Stayed at this Hotel for two nights 10th / 12th October ,and I have to say this is the best Hotel I have stayed at of my four Hotels in the Latin Quarter I paid 341 euros via the Hotel website which included the room tax.. The rooms are small but very clean with a nice walk in shower. The Latin Quarter is a nice area to stay in, with transport and various eating places and bars nearby. I would stay there again but there are cheaper Hotels nearby, but perhaps not so nice inside. If you wish to pay this amount...I would recommend this Hotel. If not...look at The Des Carmes...Hotel Maxim...or the St.Christophe.

"Refurbished and very pleasant "
Benson605089, 01 Octobre 2018

I stayed here 5 years ago and it was a dump. My husband booked this hotel by mistake he forgot we'd stayed here before. When we arrived I was very anxious because our last visit was terribly. I can tell you it was very very good . Lift working . Air con working Rooms clean beds very nice. Bed linen very nice. Bath room and shower spotless . Only complaint: Breakfast not included Very mean with tea bags and milk . The young lady on front desk needs to tidy herself up and wash her hair . She's the first person you meet and quite frankly looked a mess unlike the dapper evening guys in lovely suits . All in all it was a great stay , bus and metro right outside . Making it easy to get around .

"I WILL NEVER PATRON THE BEST WESTERN PANTHEON HOTEL!"
LorraineJay, 31 Août 2018

I was denied to used the restroom facilities at the Best Western Paris Pantheon on August 28, 2018! A person that denies another the basic dignities of life cannot be the best person in the hospitality industry. Both my husband (age 75) and I are seniors from Canada staying at the Best Western Marais. We are dressed like tourist. I spoke to a man who later identified himself as the Best Western Pantheon manager. I showed him my Best Western Key Card to ensure we were not a security risk and explained the need to use facilities. My request was denied to use the restroom! I advised him I am Best Western Loyal Customer who is being treated badly. He did not seem to care when I voiced a formal complaint with Best Western would be be made. Clearly, this hotel should not hold a franchise with the Best Western Hotel chain.

"Great location!"
strawmns, 26 Août 2018

They do not have many room amenities so be prepared - no ice anywhere on the block and no fridge (we even asked one of the restaurants AND ordered UBER EATS to get ice - none!). Room was nice and modern. We faced the street so we were able to open the windows for cross breeze - excellent! Location was excellent - go up the street (out of the hotel and up the hill)to find a nice area and selection of bars and restaurants. Fabulous bakery just across the street (but they are closed on weekends) and a weekday market just next to the Metro (Wednesday and Friday) - we found some excellent buys on Katana purses. What wasn't so excellent was the midnight crew --- Gautier was FABULOUS and i wish he was there during our entire stay, but he wasn't The other midnight gentlemen could not be bothered with tourists and tourists questions - just couldn't be bothered at all! They should reevaluate him working for Best Western - a customer service industry requires service oriented staff - he was not!

"Great location"
iangracie76, 19 Août 2018

Great area to stay just 200 metres from rue mouffetard with loads of bars and restaurants Ideal for short walks to Pantheon Notre Dame Tec Recently refurbished the rooms are very well appointed with air conditioning and tea making Also normal sized by Paris standards the rooms are very comfortable

"Well located and moderately priced..."
Bianca Rochelle P, 31 Juillet 2018

Stayed for 5 nights in July, and the rooms were air conditioned with windows that opened fully to escape the stifling heat of Paris in the summer. The rooms were well sized with two hanging closets and a small desk. The bathroom only has a shower, but it was much larger than most others with a decent shower head. Staff were efficient, and sorted out a leak in the ceiling and arranged a late check out. No airport transfers though.

"Very convenient and well priced"
I_Love_Holidays20118, 08 Juillet 2018

This hotel is in an excellent location, quite central. It is well priced for its location. The rooms are quite small but are fine for a stay where you are out most of the time site seeing. The room is well layed out with a newly refurbished bathroom. We stayed on the 5th floor which gives you a little balcony which is a bonus. The breakfast is quite expensive. We had the express breakfast on one day only, which is a croissant/pain au chocolat + 1 coffee + 1 juice for €7 but then we found that the Bon App opposite the hotel offered larger juice, coffee and pain for €3 (an extra €0.50 if you want milk). It also has a breakfast bar to sit at, so much better value.

"Surprisingly Good"
atkinsian5, 01 Juillet 2018

Nice small hotel for a 3 Star in Paris. We have 5 nights, on the last leg of a 5 week stay in Europe. Well located to Place Monge Metro station. There are many restaurants, cafes and convenience stores close by. Rooms have recently been renovated, clean and good size for Paris. No mini bar. There is tea and coffee making facility in your room. Good air conditioning. Good shower. We didn't try the €13 breakfast. We have previously paid much more for inferior rooms in Paris. Very happy with this good value hotel.

"Small rooms but comfy"
EarthtravellerUD, 23 Juin 2018

The hotel is positioned in a strategic position. It's close to the Metro so from there you can go anywhere and within walking distance of the Ile de le Cité, Palais de Luxembourg and so on. The rooms are small but clean, tidy, modern and comfortable. By Paris standards the rooms are more than satisfactory and decently priced.

"Good location"
Btravelfood, 30 Mai 2018

We were to stay in this hotel for 5 nights but needed to stay one additional night due to our flight being changed. We were able to stay an extra night and they honored the same rate we paid for the previous nights. The hotel has a lot of good things going for it and some things that are not so good. However, I believe this is what's average or common for Paris. Location is excellent, very close to metro station as well as a bus stop. There are plenty of bakeries and restaurants (French, Asian, etc) and frankly, they are all good. Expensive but good. For even more dining options, walk or take the bus to Notre Dame or the Parthenon. The hotel is small as was our room and bathroom although the bathroom was laid out really nicely and had an extra long sink. I did not care for the dark interiors but that's just me. We never figured out how to control the heat/air conditioniing so we just left the window open (we were on the 2nd floor). With the windows open, we could hear a lot of noise from the street; more noise during the day (cars, buses, sirens) and less at night. Noise does not bother us too much. The elevator is indeed small. It fits 2 people and a large suitcase and that's it.

"Not to bad!"
ricardodevries, 04 Mai 2018

We were looking for a hotel on a central location in Paris, for reasonable prices. This Best Western is near to the Metro where you can buy a day or a week ticket to travel around. Further the Hotel is clean and the shower is redecorated. Beds are perfectly fine and the staff is friendly. I can really recommend this hotel.

"Good for short stay"
jtpresto, 29 Avril 2018

We made the mistake of booking this hotel for 13 days. We knew it would be small, and for a short stay it would be fine. It was just too cramped for a 2 week stay. The positives are that the staff is wonderful and the location is great. The cons are that the wiring was not able to accommodate my power strip to charge all of our iPhones and iPad s at one time. Also, since there was no electricity during the day everything had to be charged overnight while we were in the room. We could only do this 2 at a time. Finally and most important the WiFi was awful. Most of the time that we could connect, it was slow, but it was difficult to connect, I assume, because everyone was on at the same time. This made it miserable for me. If WiFi isn't important, I believe this is legitimately a 3 star hotel.

"Air Conned!!"
FanatiX-Abroad, 11 Avril 2018

Impressed initially by the decor and feel of this modern hotel, which was a pleasant change. Ideal location for a few days of business and parking was close by. However, I was sadly let down a few times... The hotel states all rooms are “air conditioned”, in the dictionary the definition: "a system for controlling the humidity, ventilation, and temperature in a building or vehicle, typically to maintain a cool atmosphere in warm conditions". I called the reception, only to be told it doesn't cool, it only heats. To get fresh air I had to open the windows at night for two days and was woke up continuously to traffic horns and drunken idiots screaming until 4am. Had I known this I would have booked elsewhere as this was the main reason I booked this hotel. Breakfast was literally a joke with no fresh whole fruit and a few pieces of meat on a plate. Opted for the boil your own eggs and stale toast for 13 euros!! Overall: I walked away after two nights feeling short changed, very tired, and un-refreshed. Positives: Shower was awesome! | Chinese takeaway a few doors down | Scandinavian Salad at the cafe on the corner | Great location. Negatives: Air conditioning - Unenthusiastic staff- Breakfast -> eat elsewhere

"Perfect location, clean and modern, helpful staff"
lindi31, 06 Avril 2018

We stayed for 3 nights. The location was just fantastic, the main reason we choose the hotel. 3 minute walk to Place Monge metro and a couple of minutes to rue mouffetard and all it's restaurants and shops. The room was comfortable and very clean. We didn't try the breakfast as preferred to set off at the beginnnig of the day no find someone out and about. One day, we walked from the hotel to the Notre Dame and along the river to the arc de triomphe and then the Eiffel Tour. The location really s very good. Staff on front desk always obliging and helpful, once giving us directions to the Pantheon and also booking the shuttle to return to CDG Airport. A fantastic stay. We will return.

"Well located hotel"
collegefield, 17 Mars 2018

We arrived after a late train journey at the hotel. Sadly we were met my quite a grumpy male receptionist who could barely manage a smile despite our efforts to be nice . The hotel Itself was located with a nice reception area and clean but very small rooms which were cleverly designed to make the most of the space. For the price this is fine. The broadband was very slow less than 1meg so don't expect to work or Skype anyone. Our departure in the morning was a very pleasant experience with a different man on reception. I'm not sure I'd rush back but it was fine. I'd probably pay the extra for a bigger room, better Wi-fi and service. The bed was very comfy so for a solo traveller who just needs to sleep this is probably the right place for you.

"Great Location"
Jenwen27, 22 Février 2018

There were 12 of us on a weekend in Paris and this hotel was great location, clean, and nice rooms. Some staff were excellent others not so great. Beautiful bakery across from hotel where hot drinks and pastries made a great Parisian start to the day!

"Didn't Quite Deliver as Advertised"
maildfrelix, 16 Décembre 2017

This property has the potential to earn a higher rating; however, their "free internet" was iffy at best and usually none-existent. This was a major nightmare for my travel mate who was on a working vacation and often at risk of missing important deadlines due to the spotty internet. When you could get internet access it was only for about 5 minutes and then the network connection would drop. During my 6-days stay, I probably tried to log back on to the internet at least 100 times. We even had problems with the computer in the lobby. Staff also was iffy. While they were all very polite, some were great while others were cluelessly inappropriate. As we returned rather late from dinner one extremely cold, rainy evening, the desk clerk yelled out to my travel mate just as we were about to enter the hotel. When she walked over, he clerk asked her to stand in the street to hold the parking space directly in front of the hotel so that he could repark his Mercedes. Turns out his car was only 3 cars down from the space he asked her to stand in the rain to hold! Although the hotel is kept clean, their housekeeping staff was pretty much the same. Some days they didn't bother to remove or replace dirty dishes. During the entire stay they only provided one tiny bar of soap for two people for both bathing and washing hands at the sink. Fortunately, I always travel with my own brand of soap. They also always had to be asked for enough towels. On the positive side, the location is great. There are restaurants, bakeries, and grocery stores directly across the street or within a couple of blocks. It's also very close to the metro and by French standards, it's not too far a walk to some major landmarks like Norte Dame. I didn't try the breakfast, but my friend thought it was a good deal for the money. Overall, if you don't need or care about the internet and like us, don't mind a small room, this property might be okay for a value-conscience traveler because it's definitely clean, quiet, and well-located. However, I won't return unless they can assure me that they have fixed their internet connection problems.

"Very good quality and good location. I would recommend."
Steven G, 30 Novembre 2017

Wen enjoyed our one week stay here. It is clean, tidy and modern and it is an easy walk down to the river to start tourist points. The rooms is small but functional as is the bathroom. This is the norm in Paris I think. The staff were all nice and friendly ( with the exception of one gentlemen who seemed very irritated when we dared interrupt to ask for something - he was a bit intimidating) giving good advice and directions in very good English. The restaurant area is a very short walk also and a very nice area to go to get any type of meal. Breakfast is very simple but good quality. Good value we thought.

"Comfort saved it from a 1 star."
Stephen M, 30 Novembre 2017

Genuinely don't know where to begin with this one. For starters we seemed to interrupt the receptionists lunch when we arrived, she wasn't too keen on helping us at all! Couldn't wait to get rid of us and not a single smile throughout our whole check in experience, it was nowhere near what was advertised! Our room was less than half the size of the one that was shown in the pictures but it was very comfortable and the shower was absolutely immense! Best shower in a long time.. Every night when we came back to the hotel we had to go down to reception as our card wouldn't work after housekeeping was in the room! The black gentleman in reception was absolutely ignorant, I asked him for an adapter for my girlfriend as she needed it for her hairdryer and we forgot to pick one up!He quite aggressively told me "10 minutes" as he handed it ober which i just thought was very rude.. When I thanked him after I brought it back he didn't even respond to me. then when I wasn't feeling great I asked my girlfriend to ask reception for some water as we were not sure if the toilet tap water was drinkable. He told us no..? A hotel with no drinking water are you kidding me? Absolutely disgraceful .. then we wanted to have tea we boiled the tap water only to find the milk in the room was gone off and came out as one big lump. With that went any appetite for the continental breakfast. I seriously regret not consulting trip advisor before booking this hotel. The only nice person we met during our stay was the black haired lady who kindly helped us print off our Disney tickets with a smile and was always pleasent and the gentleman who helped us check out! So basically wouldn't be reccomending this this hotel as we felt the cons well outweighed the pros, the BW website said the staff were completely obliging but I'd say that they are completely hit and miss and it just depends on who you come across. Have nothing against best western as I stayed with them in LA and had a fantastic stay!

"Disappointing breakfast"
Margaret W, 26 Octobre 2017

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at this hotel, and while the location, and staff were good, the room was rather small, although we have since been told this common for Paris. Our disappointment mainly stems from (1) The size of the lift, barely could get two people in it, let alone luggage as well (2) The breakfast, that was prepaid, consisted of cereal, boiled eggs, that you cooked yourself, any other form of eggs would have to be paid for , stale bread for toast that you made yourself, croissants, and pancakes which I think were the same ones every day, or so they appeared. All this for $381 Australian dollars a night. I do not think so. Our advise when in Paris, get your breakfast on the go, plenty of shops to choose from. We definitely will next time, and at a different hotel. Hooroo Garry Fitzpatrick and Margaret Wasiak

"Clean, great location, but..."
WestCoastBruh, 21 Octobre 2017

Hotel was nice, despite not being a 4-star or above. In fact, I don't have any complaints other than the police coming to my room and barging in. (Yes, you heard right) I had checked in Monday afternoon (9.25) and immediately took a nap afterwards (I was tired from traveling). Next thing I know (almost an hour into my nap), I hear the voices of men coming from outside the door. They knock, I hear someone yell, "police", and I get up to put on my pants and get the door. But before I get a chance to put on my clothes (I was in my drawers), they open up the door and make gestures with their hands like "we're sorry" and they back off. Clearly, I was not who they were looking for. So I go downstairs after my nap (let's say an hour later) and tell the guy at the front desk (he's the only person working there at the moment), what happened. He barely speaks English, but he basically discredited my story of it being the cops and said, "it was the maintenance guys". Look, I know what I saw and what I heard. And if it was the maintenance guys, they still had no reason coming inside that quickly...that was a major disappointment. I will say, the hotel was very clean and in a great location...great proximity to restaurants, bakeries, street food vendors, grocery stores, and the metro was a less than 5 minute walk away. However, this is the type of hotel for someone constantly on the go, someone who just needs a decent spot to rest their head. The room was small and kind of pricey, but that's Paris for ya! If that incident didn't happen, I would have given them 4 or 5 stars.

"Friendly Staff, spotty to no WiFi "
tkring, 16 Octobre 2017

Good location. Recently Updated hotel in old building. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Loved the feel. Nice queen bed in a small room. Two complaints: WiFi is so spotty that it is useless~ even downstairs computer would not attach. Cannot buy just coffee~have to buy 7eu breakfast. Therefore, 2 coffees cost us 14eu.

"Less than perfect hotel in a good location"
Empty_OSU_Nester, 16 Octobre 2017

Our tour group of 16 people from the U.S. and Australia stayed at this hotel for two nights at the beginning of our tour of Paris and the Loire Valley. Several of our tour group members came to the hotel in advance of the tour and stayed extra nights. Fortunately for my husband and I, we did not. Our sixth floor room was tiny - yes, I know all hotel rooms in major European cities are small - but this was really tiny. We couldn't even find the air conditioning until another member of our group explained where to find it! Some of our tour group members never got maid service. Our key NEVER worked, we routinely had to stop at the front desk to get it recharged. We will be recommending that the tour company avoid this hotel in the future. I do want to say that Laura, the front desk attendant, was exceptionally nice and called a physician for us from SOS Medical - she was great, and even the other members of the hotel staff were quite pleasant, but the actual facility needs improvement. If it weren't for our experience with Laura, we would have rated this even lower.

"Good small hotel in great location"
Ashley B, 02 Octobre 2017

This is a small mid priced hotel in the Latin Quarter of central Paris (5th Arondisment) on main road and close to metro at Place Monge. Rooms are small but comfortable and very clean. 10 - 15 minutes walk to Notre Dame. Number of nice, busy restaurants close bye.

"My room smelled, good location though..."
Matthew G, 29 Septembre 2017

Clean hotel tucked into what looks like a former apartment building. Well located within about 15 minutes walking distance to the hot spots of the Quartier Latin. Has a nice looking sauna but it was out of order... Speaking for myself only, I found the room tiny with just enough room to squeeze along the walls to get around the (queen?) bed to get to the bathroom. There was a strong smell in the room which forced me to leave the windows open much of the time. Luckily the weather cooperated. No other rooms were available. I assume all the rooms did not have this problem or there would have been an uproar. To summarize, they seem to be trying to squeeze every last cent they can out of the property and I found the price too high for what I got.

"Nice, small hotel"
Amyrey G, 31 Août 2017

We liked this hotel very much. It's located at a nice neighbourhood where there are a lot of restaurants and cafe's. The room was small but we had one on the 6th floor with a nice view of the city. AC was working perfectly too as it was 31 degress when we were there. The staff on the other hand were less helpful and friendly. Overall, i would recommend this hotel.

"3 Day Break"
Tash1486, 16 Août 2017

3 day break in Paris with Family. Some rooms small. Very comfy bed. Breakfast area small and very limited choice. Staff seem to stand there eating the food instead of the guests. Staff aren't very friendly. However the receptionist did print some tickets off for us at short notice which we was glad of. Metro station across the road. Don't be afraid to use this, its really easy, just like the London tube and very cheap. Taxi to hotel from Cdg airport cost £90 euros this was for 5 of us and about a half hour transfer. However on the way back we did the tube and then the Rer B train straight to the airport. This cost £10.30 euros per person. Very easy to do. Definitely recommend the moulin rouge and Eiffel Tower, but book before you go.

"Nice hotel, worth the money"
whippledoc, 09 Août 2017

Stayed here for two nights with my family. I would say it was worth the money, but rooms are small and the bathrooms very small. Tiny elevator, only 3 or the 4 in our group could ride at one time. But very pleasant and helpful staff. Not unlike other hotels in Europe size wise.

"Pleasant stay and an excellent location"
Layan A, 07 Août 2017

The hotel's staff is friendly and professional. They readily answered my questions. The rooms are clean and uncomfortable. The hotel was also recently renovated. The room has a kettle but it would be a good idea to add a mini fridge. It was very easy for my friend and I to use the metro (lines 1 and 7), nearby bus stop, and a taxi stop. There's also a variety of nearby restaurants and coffe shops. I highly recommend this hotel.

"Nice hotel in a convenient location"
ImanLily, 05 Août 2017

The hotel is located 1 minute away from line 7 metro and about 5 minutes from line 10. There are few markets for groceries and fresh fruits, as well as a variety of restaurants/pubs. The hotel staff is welcoming, and always smiling. I felt that I could approach any of them to ask questions or recommendations, which I did. I didn't try the breakfast, but the hotel offers a buffet from 7:30 to 10:30. The room I stayed in was clean, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was small, which is to be expected in Paris. I knew that when I booked online, so it wasn't a surprise at all when I walked into the room. The hotel staff recommended the shuttle company they deal with. The driver was punctual and came to the hotel door to carry our luggage to the car. I would have appreciated a mini fridge in the room though. I recommend this hotel and I would stay there next time I visit Paris.

"Great location in lively area of Paris"
travelbee55, 17 Juillet 2017

Nice understated place to stay. Very well appointed, nice efficient room, with great bathroom.Close to metro stop Place Monge, but also nice walking, close to Jardin des Plantes and University Pierre et Marie Curie. Also walking distance to the Pantheon and the Seine river.

"Great location to the bustling Latin Quarter"
JonHopkins17, 12 Juillet 2017

Nice business hotel, located very close to the vibrant Latin quarter. Easy place to stay, hassle free, clean and modern rooms,. For an old property the hotel had a fresh and modern feel. Great location to busy bars and restaurants

"Great location "
Kimpeter1, 05 Juin 2017

Located in the Latin Quarter, walking distance to shopping, restaurants and attractions. Room was small, like most European hotels, clean and bright with nice windows in the bathroom and main room. Quiet even though it was on a busy street. Lauren at the front desk was exceptional, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was good, not sure if we'd get it in the future because there are plenty of places to get coffee and pastries on the street.

"50th Birthday in Paris"
Tina W, 04 Juin 2017

I was in Paris celebrating my 50th. We spent 1 night at the Best Western. Very modern hotel but also extremely small rooms. The elevator barely holds 2 people. We had a twin bed room and the beds were push together with nothing separating them. Overall it was an ok hotel, but I wouldn't have been able to spend more than 1 night there. The rooms are really just for 1 person.

"Vacation stay at quarter Latin Pantheon for a.week in Paris we visited the Pantheon, la tour Eifull walked on the Champs"
William S, 31 Mai 2017

Climbed up the Montmarte, walked down the Champs Elise had drinks at les duex Moulon had drinks at Hotel Indiana walked on rue Clair had food on rue clair visited the fair at Place Monge bought some flowers

"Clean room, good location!!"
MJDDL, 21 Mai 2017

Pros - clean room, located very close to trains, good air con, wifi was ok, two windows that could be opened to allow fresh air. Cons - room smelt like cigarette although we booked a non smoking room, room was also made up when we had requested that it not be touched (twice), no view. Overall, a good place to stay if your visiting Paris. You can access any part of the city via the nearby train station.

"Worst customer service"
Ruth C, 30 Avril 2017

I had to leave this hotel early not because of the room at all ( very clean and modern, but very small). I left due to convenience not located in walking distance to the tourist districts. The front desk staff (2 of them) that I met and encountered, were very rude, aggressive and confrontational. Not sure what this hotel allows and supports but I refuse to deal with it.

"Nothing special"
TerriH521, 21 Avril 2017

This hotel is in a nice area and quaint shops and corner cafe's but the hotel is nothing special. We asked for 3 nights to have our two single beds made into a king but no luck even though they said they would. Breakfast too expensive ate across the street. Didn't change our sheets or towels for two days. I would suggest same area different hotel.

"Above expectations "
Linnea A, 16 Avril 2017

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 4 nights and we couldn't of been more satisfied with the hotel and the service. The room was kind of small (that's just something you have to accept in Paris) but super fresh, modern and clean (my boyfriend got obsessed with the rain shower). The trains running outside that a few people have commented on was nothing that ever bothered us. The location of the hotel is absolutely awesome, in the middle of the heart of the old Latin quarters. A literally two minute walk from the amazing market street Rue Mouffetard and just a 7-8 minute walk to Pantheon and the beautiful Jardin Luxembourg garden. Everyone who was working at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend this hotel to others and would definitely stay here if ever going to Paris again.

"Great location"
knhellesky, 13 Avril 2017

What a nice quaint little hotel in the Latin Quarter. Convenient location that's close to the bus stop, metro, shops, café/restaurants and groceries. Newly renovated rooms have a modern look. Stayed here during the late part of Spring (March) and the our room was particularly warm--no thermostat control for us to adjust, so that was a little letdown. Bed was comfy and the bathroom/shower was adequate for us; although the space might be a little tight for "American" size perspective, but we had no issues with it. The staff was pretty helpful and provided good info and recommendations around the area. Wi-Fi was OK at best and found it really slow most of our stay.

"Lovely hotel in great location. "
Ella J, 12 Avril 2017

The rooms were very spacious and modern. We had a great view of the street and everything was extremely clean and lovely. One of the best hotels we stayed in in the notre dame area. We did pay for breakfast which was not good at all, no assortments really and the egg boiler was extremely hard to deal with. Would put that money towards breakfast at a restaurant instead as the pastries were old and the crepes were cold and there was not much food.

"Excellent location and good standard accomodation"
Charles M, 11 Avril 2017

Great hotel, minutes walk from metro, bike hire nearby. Ten minutes walk to Notre Dame, river and all the attractions along it. Many restaurants and bars near by. Hotel looked newly refurbished, really good standard of accommodation for a 3 star. Comfy bed. Great pillows. Clean and well serviced, tea and coffee making in the room. Room not enormous, but plenty of space for us, plus this is Paris!! so not in the room much!!!

"Comfy beds"
jwadesign, 13 Mars 2017

We chose this Hotel due to its location and the fact it has a kettle in the room! We had a twin bedded room and although the room may not have been bigger to accommodate two beds ( our room was small) the beds were very comfortable, above average, linen lovely. room clean, 11 am check out very civilised.. The glass door to the en-suite was frosted but a surprise if you are travelling with a friend! We did not book breakfast which seemed reasonably priced but there is a bakery adjacent and open on Sunday mornings for your morning croissants and the kettle in the room for the tea-drinking-english-travellers. bring your own tea bags if you like 'builders tea', location great, metro over the road. walking distance 10-15,minutes to Notre Dame and plenty of small shops on the way, including a late night supermarket. Not in our guide book but just a few streets away there is a lively student quarter with a few restaurants for the older customer (us). Taxi rank outside the Hotel/ metro for the tired traveller with a heavy case. deffinately recommend for a few days visit any longer and you would want a bigger room.

"Nice, modern little hotel."
2324LH, 02 Mars 2017

The hotel is very close to the metro and bus lines which is always helpful, there's some great places to eat/go in the area.. The room itself was lovely and clean. The bed was comfy, the towels were always changed and the shampoo, conditioner and body lotion was replaced if it had been used! The only downsides are that every time a train goes under the hotel you can hear it, the doors don't feel as they lock properly and the corridors are very dark as the lighting is dim. However the lady on the desk was always very helpful and friendly!

"Very clean, very good location and very reasonable."
Peter L, 31 Janvier 2017

Great place to stay for a long weekend, the rooms are small but are very well presented, spacious bathroom with an amazing shower. I cannot comment on the food as we generally slept until after that time. The big plus is you are near the metro, which brings you everywhere., but it's also a lovely area to go walking. Loads of nice bars and restaurants in the area or on the walk into the city. I would definitely stay here again, the receptionist was a bit Duce when leaving, I know he was on the night shift but the only 2 words he said at the checking out process is €16.20 and I asked him is that tax he said yes. No safe travels, no goodbye, and no thank you. Apart from that smal glitch it was a perfect hotel for a perfect week in paris

"good basic hotel, convenient location"
hehren, 08 Octobre 2016

stayed here end of september, early october. Location is good, right near Place Monge metro station. HOWEVER, don't think this makes it convenient to take train/metro from the airport. We unfortunately did, and there is almost half mile trek through tunnels to change from rer to the number 7 metro line. then there are A LOT of steps out of the metro at place monge. If you have luggage, as we did, this is an exhausting disaster of a way to start the trip. We did take Uber back from hotel to cdg airport. 36 euros, easy peasy. the room and bathroom are small but functional. The bed was big and comfy and new. there was no air conditioning, but that was fine in the fall. Would be a problem in july and august. On a side note, would not recommend travelling to Paris in July or August, as we did a lot of walking. This was manageable in October with daytime highs of 66-70, but would not want to do it if it were 80. no fridge in the room. No ice machine either. But they did have a teapot device to heat water and provided provisions for tea and coffee in a.m. . They have an outdoor market at place monge three mornings a week, with fresh food and prepared foods. Also good bakery across the street, Pinaud, with good bread, sandwiches, pastries. We did not do the hotel breakfast, which was 13 euros per person daily, and did not include any cooked items. Hotel is short walk to Jardin des Plantes, which is beautiful. Good place for a picnic. Hotel is about 20 minute walk to either Notre Dame or Luxembourg gardens. But the metro station is very convenient for getting anywhere. We got a week's Navego pass, and used that to see all the usual sites, including a day trip to Versailles. Overall, a basic hotel room, but a good experience. We did not spend a lot of time lingering in our hotel. It's Paris!

"nice hotel in good location for reasonable price but room noise was terrible"
Alex W, 02 Octobre 2016

I would like to give the hotel four points but the room they gave us was directly next to the elevator shaft and therefore very loud each time the elevator was used and it was used a lot also through the night. apart from that rooms small but clean. shower nice. beds ok. breakfast good for the price. wifi shaky at times. location great. prices reasonable.

"A balcony all to ourselves with a view of Paris!"
gloriad796, 29 Septembre 2016

I thought this was a great hotel, we stayed on the 5th floor and as we opened the french doors we had a great surprise that there was a small balcony that we could sit out and enjoy the view, the room was very clean and well cared for, all amenities, nice modern bathroom, superb comfy bedding, a wardrobe on either side so we could both put our belongings away and not be in each others way, ok the room was small but very well utilised - we enjoyed it, the hotel also had a turkish bath which included robes and slippers, the staff were also very friendly and helpful and the area was really interesting - there was even a roman ampitheatre just a few yards away!

"It's ok"
Mauro G, 21 Septembre 2016

So far one of the best hotels I've stayed in Paris at a reasonable price. The rooms are however small, as all other hotel rooms in Paris… but they looked clean. At least the dark carpet looked clean! The breakfast area was very small, however the food was fine. Not too sure how the public transport from the hotel was as I took the taxi most of the time.

"Great hotel, nice location for Paris"
Yeahman2011, 14 Septembre 2016

Such a great hotel, really nice area of Paris, about 10 mins walk to Notre Dame. Staff on reception were very helpful and made my stay very pleasant and always were very professional and friendly. The Room was quite spacious for Paris and was in very quite area at night. The bed in the rooms were very comfortable and got a really good nights sleep whilst I was stayed here (5 nights). Would defo recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris

"Awesome hotel"
Hogfansforlife, 10 Août 2016

This was a great hotel across from subway station and had several cute bakery's across the street. The hotel is very secured small and friendly staff. We would def considered this hotel again in Paris. I will say because we are family of four had difficult time finding room for four so we had to get two rooms but they were able to atleast get us across hall from one another on same floor. Hotel beds very comfortable and ample television. The place is styled very modern and all amenities you need. The showers are all very large and accommodating. The elevators are tiny. Lol. Two folks and one suitcase. Lol but that's par for Europe. They do serve breakfast but we never ate there. we preferred the pastries across the street so we could sit outside and have a view. Great hotel.

"Excellent hotel in great location, very cost effective for Paris"
39teresa, 06 Août 2016

This hotel tuerned out to be a good find, we payed less than the average rate in Paris yet our room was lovely. The room was quite compact but had everything you need including a large rain shower in the bathroom. The location of this hotel is really good with a couple of metro stops close by. There are also numerous shops, restaurants and bars close by within walking distance if you wish to stay closer to the hotel after a day of seeing the sites. Nottre Dame and the palace of Luxemburg are also close by within walking distance as were the Catacoombs. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel as there are so many other options in Paris so cannot rate this however the staff were friendly and the room very clean.

"Small Room, Convenient Location"
EsvyNYC, 19 Juillet 2016

The location was great! Right across the street was a metro station and just the road was Rue Mouffetard, a great place for restaurants. As for the room itself, as with most rooms in Paris, it was very small, but modern. The hotel even offers a shuttle to the airport, so that was convenient.

"Gorgeous boutique hotel"
deekk, 09 Juillet 2016

I stayed here recently with my husband and it was just fabulous!! The hotel is a modern chic boutique hotel. It's located in the Latin quarter area of Paris and so easily accessed. The area is more local than touristy and as a result you will really experience the true French culture. The markets across the road have gorgeous fresh fruits and foods. The cafes are fab too. There are two metro lines close by and Notre dame cathedral is less than 10 mins walk away. The hotel itself is small and the rooms are small too. However it's very clean , appropriately equipped and the staff are very helpful. The breakfast they offer isn't worth the price and I would recommend going to a local cafe instead. It didn't take away from the trip and I would definitely return.

"Boutique Hotel"
Agnewdt, 27 Juin 2016

More than happy with this hotel. After reading reviews I was pleasantly surprised at this hotel when we arrived. Travelled in March this year. Never took long from train station to the hotel, Rooms were small but had everything we needed. Spotlessly clean and very modern. We had two rooms next to each other. One was on the corner, so had great views. Within walking distance to Notre Dam. The underground is only a couple of minutes from the hotel which we used to go to the Eiffel Tower and coming back from Galleries La Fayette. Straightforward enough to use. Hotel is within walking distance of plenty of cafes Bars and Shops. Night porter was a lovely pleasant gentleman. We got this for a good price and i chose it because pets are not allowed. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking about booking this Hotel to go ahead.

"Nice boutique like hotel"
URSOJS, 26 Mai 2016

Stayed here based on reviews on trip advisor and other sites. It's not the cheapest option but it was very nice with a decent location in the Latin Quarter. The area is quite vibrant and entertaining right around several schools. Tons of bars and restaurants for any taste. This area has a very warm cozy fell to it. The hotel is fairly modern with small but serviceable Paris hotel rooms....and is right next to the Place Monge Metro station. It's a great jumping off point to many places. On the downside the WiFi was a bit sketchy. Dont know if that was their fault or mine. Note. The room safe is so small that it can only accommodate documents and very small electronics. My iPad wouldn't fit and there is no way a laptop would fit. So I had to lock the up in my luggage. Not ideal but then no issues. The hotel staff was pleasant and the service perfunctory. If you can afford it then I highly recommend it.

"Excellent hotel in great location"
WeegieGlasgow, 07 Avril 2016

Clean, comfortable boutique style hotel within easy distance of all the tourist sights in Paris. Excellent breakfast in small but comfortable breakfast room. No trouble getting a table. Beds really comfortable. Shower and bathroom excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Paris.

"Great location"
Neal W, 05 Avril 2016

Nice hotel in a really good location with great choice of restaurants only a couple of minutes away. Handy for the metro, but also nice walk to the river either through the Botanic gardens or up to Notre Dame. Comfortable room.

"Good!"
M F, 23 Mars 2016

Impressed by friendly staff and nice atmosphere - rooms are nice and beds sleep very well - location is perfect in quartier latin - close by montparnasse and other impressive sites - parking is pretty close by although at paris pricing.... But absolutely recommended

"Great place to stay"
Danilo D, 07 Février 2016

Very nice hotel. Cozy, elegant, clean, good breakfast, and close to the metro. The clerk of the hotel was very friendly, the room was clean, very comfortable, everything worked. The breakfast offered good variety of options. I recommend.

"No reason to stay here-Paris has better options"
DreamingTravelers, 04 Février 2016

We needed a hotel for a last minute trip and heard from a travel agent that someone mentioned this hotel so we decided to give it a try and unfortunately were very disappointed. While the building outside is pretty, the hotel inside is very small and crowded. The room we were assigned smelled bad upon entering the room so we asked for another room, and that room was tiny and the bathroom was so incredibly small we were shocked. Furthermore unless you keep the room card key inside a slot near the entrance the lights turn off, and if you step outside to the hallway you will find complete darkness until the motion sensors turn the hallway light on. Hallways are miniature and the elevator is tiny, to the point that when one of their cleaning staff left their cart in the elevator no one could get into the elevator. We found their customer service to be lacking. They were rude and seemed to be very suspicious, to the point of requiring that every time we stepped out we surrender the room card although they didn't indicate that at check in, no one told us at check in that the hotel require the card back every time we step out even when we just stood outside for a breath of fresh air, in fact we stayed at other French hotels and no one ever asked for the card every time we left the room. That's just one example but overall there was just no sense that they care about the client. We've been traveling for many years and no one has ever behaved this way or showed such bad service. The only good thing is that one can walk about 15-20 minutes away and get to the Notre Dame Cathedral. We will not be back at this hotel and luckily for us we only reserved the room for 2 nights and then moved to a better hotel! Paris has many quality hotels and in our opinion there is absolutely no good reason to stay at this hotel.

"My Favorite since it was totally renewed"
EugenieLAM, 18 Janvier 2016

I've been in this hotel several times for business and decided to come back for my holidays. It definitely has one of the best location to visit Paris and a really nice and safe neighbourhood. The hotel is always clean and you can relax in their brand new hammam (Turkish bath) at the end of the day. The staff is really nice and welcoming. They do not have a restaurant but you have an amazing choice for breakfast (fresh bakery and food for all tastes, sweet or salty). I recommend this hotel to all my friends & colleagues because of its great value for money so thought it would be nice to give a review here! Enjoy!

"Very nice Hotel"
Louise G, 25 Décembre 2015

This Hotel is really nice, the staff here are all very friendly and welcoming you. The breakfast here is just outstanding nice and the coffee here is just excellent, really. The rooms are all very nice and they offer all you need at a nice hotel.

"Friendly service, great location"
k s, 15 Décembre 2015

This hotel has a great location (Metro station about 50m away) and value for money. I had to leave quite early in the morning, so the hotel staff had the breakfast service ready half an hour earlier than normal. The rooms are nicely decorated and the bathroom was very nice. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly.

"It was ok"
bvh520, 08 Décembre 2015

Plugs in bathroom - yes light - very dim in both bedroom and bathroom Hairdryer - handheld Shower - difficult to use Cleanliness - ok, but there was a musty smell Bed - very comfortable, nice pillows Service - wasn't awful, but could have been better (do not disturb means don't bang on the door) it's not the nicest place I've ever stayed, but it wasn't the worse either. I'd probably stay again, the location was great, very close to the Metro, and the neighborhood was nice.

"Small room, but a pleasant stay"
Jessica M, 05 Décembre 2015

Booked a double room and it was great. The room was small and if it was for an extended stay I would feel crammed - but for the 5 days we were there it was cosy and was perfect for our stay. The room was quite modern too. The proximity of this hotel was great - right next to a metro stop and a 2 Min walk from resteraunts at the Latin quarter. Would recommend.

"Excellent Location and Great Value for Money"
rajeshkrish, 22 Novembre 2015

Stayed here in October for 4 days. A good functional hotel in a lovely location. The staff were very cordial and helpful. The breakfast was good. The internet connection could have been better but really no complaints. The rooms were small but hey this is Paris. Get used to it. Will stay here again during my next visit.

"First visit to Paris"
Deb C, 07 Novembre 2015

Good location, easy access to the city. Walkable to the Seine for a river cruise or walking along. Close enough to walk to Notre Dame. We even walked to the Eiffel Tower although it was a very long walk.

"good hotel, great location"
June E, 29 Octobre 2015

centrally situated and very close to metro station, good value, room of course small [ as expected in central Paris] but clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast simple and entirely adequate. staff helpful

"great if you want to listen to your neighbors screwing"
James F, 20 Octobre 2015

The walls are too thin. This is my second night in a row trying to fall asleep to the bed springs, moans and spanks emanating from the rooms next door. First it was the room on one side. Now the other. I hear every door slam shut and every word someone says in the hall. The bathrooms aren't properly ventilated to let out steam, and when I ask for simple things (like fresh soap) it doesn't come. But really it's the shagging. They need thicker walls.

"Hotel As Expected, Location was awesome!"
TheDaole, 14 Octobre 2015

The other reviews are true that the rooms are small, and the elevator is small, but the location is awesome, it turned out to be a perfect center of operations for us on our first trip to Paris. Our room was on the 3rd floor facing the street, and with the windows open, the street noise was pretty loud, but if you closed them it was almost unnoticeable. We ate the continental breakfast the first day, it was good, but there are so many options for food around the area that we didn't want to limit ourselves to hotel breakfast. The hotel staff was generally nice. Christophe checked us in and was super nice and very helpful any time I talked to him, he offered to help us with booking anything we wanted to, and helped us with our metro and city map the first day we arrived. The other day clerks were also amiable, but I had fewer interactions with them. The night clerks were fine, they were always there to open the door when you came in late at night, but had very little to say in general, so neither positive nor negative feedback. One thing that did confuse me for the fist several minutes, upon check in is that you have to insert your room key into the holder on the wall of your room for the lights to come on. Honestly, I thought this was pretty neat and very green, but if you're the type who prefers to leave a light on for when you return, then it may be a little irksome. Whichever lights you left on will immediately come back on as soon as the key is inserted. Right across the street from the hotel is a small bakery that became our morning stop for coffee (order cafe au lait if you want the closest thing to american coffee), but we stopped at the three bakeries within footsteps of the hotel for morning pastries and they were all good. The metro stop is literally 1 block away, it puts you on Line 7 that will usually take you anywhere you want to go within 1 train change. The 7 itself will drop you very close to notre dame, the opera, and the louvre (depending on stop).

"Great for a break"
James J, 07 Octobre 2015

This hotel is really close to some great pubs and restaurants, and within walking distance of Notre Dame, the Botanical Gardens and Pantheon. The nearest Metro is incredibly close to the hotel. The rooms are a little on the small side, but really clean and with great shower facilities. If you're looking for somewhere near good night life and the centre of Paris, you'd be hard-pressed to find anywhere better, certainly at this price.

"Great hotel! "
otclaudia, 08 Septembre 2015

We stayed here for a 3-night getaway and absolutely loved it. Our room was on the first floor but despite it being a busy street it was quiet in the room. The room was clean and modern. The bathroom was a nice size, perfect for two people to get ready at the same time. The staff at the front desk were all very nice and helpful. They have breakfast available, but honestly we did not use it because there were some cute little cafes across from the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

"Nice Hotel in the Latin Quarter"
Prairietravelguru, 11 Août 2015

The room is small but the washroom is newer, clean and modern. The location for Paris is fine with walking distance to restaurants and the core attractions such as the Notre Dame. The check-in process was slow and we asked for an early check-in but in high season, it is difficult. It is a nice clean hotel, good for families wanting to walk or bike around Paris.

"Nice weekend away!"
mattys378, 05 Juillet 2015

This was a good value for money hotel in a nice location. Lots of little eateries around and easy to get anywhere in Paris. Only a small room but very comfortable and modern with a big high pressure shower. Staff were friendly enough, a clean and safe hotel!

"June 2015"
Robin K, 30 Juin 2015

perfect location. we were four ladies on trip throughout France and loved this hotel in Paris. nice rooms, great service form the reception staff, easy to visit anywhere in Paris area. We will return to this hotel in the future. the metro is located just down the block, 2-3 boulangeries and a Carrefour are within one block, along with other very nice shops. very nice local restaurants attracted us daily to their cuisine. Delightful visit.

"MY NIGHTS IN GAY PAREE"
Earl S, 29 Juin 2015

I always wait with great anticipation every time I return to Paris as to what I will revisit and what I will discover. We like to stay in the Latin Quatier because it is always alive. This year was special because we were on our own after a 7 day crusie and a 9 day land tour. We came to Paris to relax, unwind and found it lovely and elegant as always: from the many shops which showcase their pastires, produce, the bars and many cafes and restaurants, the music ---this year we caught the performance of medieval music in the Notre Dame Cathedral our first night in town. VOOOOLAH. It couldn't have been better. With our visit to the castle of FoQuat in Melun to our last night in a street Greek restaurant it was magnifique. The crowning moment was while doing lunch on Saturday we witnessed the GAY PRIDE parade from our seat in a Vietnamese Restaurant on St. Germaine. Can't wait to return. DR EARL AND DR FLORENCIO

"Three night stay"
Chelsie K, 14 Juin 2015

Stayed here in Feb for a long weekend. Hotel was quaint and modern and we were lucky enough to be situated on the top floor with a balcony we could walk out into. We could see the Eiffel Tower from our balcony. Staff were friendly enough. However, we had a 6am flight back home and came downstairs approx 3am to ask the reception desk if they could ring us a taxi. The Gentleman on reception was laying on the sofa with his shoes off on an Internet chat room. Made us feel a little awkward when he asked to be my boyfriend and come back to England with me! Must have been that French humour...? Aside from this, hotel is excellently located just a short walk from Notre Dame. Metro station over the road. This was a Godsend as we bought a 2 day pass and travelled all over Paris with it. For those just wanting to grab a quick bite, there's a subway and a Starbucks on the same road but I'd recommend the bakery directly opposite the hotel - amazing pastries!

"Cosy Hotel at good location"
Shakil A, 14 Mai 2015

Hotel location is good, hotel itself is rather small and guest rooms are also pretty small but decorated to contemporary style! Beakfast is not included, free internet is a plus. dont expect a proper wardrobe just a hanger place in the corner! at 140 euro per night I would expect a little bit more. on plus side its clean and decorated up to the mark.
