    « very good price/quality »

Great location in nice neighbourhood with lots of shops and brasseries, close to subway and to the small streets of Montmartre. Small rooms, but very comfortable, very clean and nicely decorated. Coffee and tea available in room. Very good hotel!

    « Nice hotel »

This hotel was exactly what we needed for our long weekend in Paris. Good location, helpful staff. We had a ground floor room which was decent size with bit tiny bathroom which we did not mind it for such a short stay. Definitely would go back.

    « A Parisian hotel with a good-sized bathroom »

The Best Western Prince Montmartre was a pleasant surprise. The room was air-conditioned, clean and comfortable ? and it had quite a large bathroom. There are no bar facilities, but they do offer a very pleasant continental breakfast of cereals, yogurts, cheeses, eggs, meats, breads and pastries for 12 euros. There are any number of cafes, restaurants and patisseries in the surrounding area. The further away you move from Rue Ordener, the cheaper the prices become. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the Jules Joffrin metro station ? and the Paris metro is a breeze to master. It is a steep walk of nearly 2 kms from Rue Ordener to Sacre Coeur, and does require a certain level of fitness. Or you could take the metro from Jules Joffrin to Abbesses (1 stop), walk along the well-signposted street, through the colourful shops and cafes to the funicular. This will take you up to the cathedral, and you can use your metro ticket for this ride. Tip: We booked an airport shuttle through reception, and were charged 36 euros (cash only). Upon arriving at the airport the driver informed us that he had to be paid an extra 36 euros. I showed him my receipt, but he insisted the first 36 euros was the hotel's booking fee, and he required an additional 36 euros. Without any cash, I had to leave my bags with the driver and search the airport for a cash machine. I'm still not sure if I was ripped off or not, so make sure you ask exactly what the fixed price for the shuttle service will be.

« Well positioned but tiny »

In a great place close to two metro stations that will take you to most places in the city. Good variety of shops and restaurants around the hotel. Rooms are VERY small. Add two suitcases to the space and you can hardly move.

« Hotel bien, zona regular »

tanto el hotel, el desayuno y el personal del hotel muy bien, pero la zona bastante sucia con lo que parecia un mercadillo permanente . The hotel itself, the staff, cleanliness and breakfast were more than adequate however, the area was pretty dirty with what seemed like a permanent street market.

    « Loved it! »

I took my here grown daughters to spend a week in Paris. We loved the hotel, nice, clean, convenient, close to metro, and loved the neighborhood. The price was moderate and it served our needs nicely. Everyone at the front desk spoke English and were very helpful with directions. We arrived the day after the November attacks but felt well taken care of.

« Great spot in Montmartre »

Loved staying in this hotel in Montmartre! Quick access to the metro, located near lots of cafés and bakeries, made this hotel a great location for exploring Paris. Modern rooms, with up to date amenities. Rooms are small, but this is the norm in Paris. Liked the separate areas for the toilet/shower/vanity in our room. Hotel has a great spiral staircase, also has a wheelchair accessible elevator. Staff was friendly and welcoming. We chose to forgo the hotel breakfast, found it easy to find high-quality croissants on the street. Really liked the overall vibe of the area of the hotel. Had a wonderful Indian dinner just around the corner.

« Good place for short stay »

We stayed a couple of nights in June. The pros of this place was: * a decent price, especially since a lot of hotels were quite expensive at the time - probably because of the football Euro 2016 (we were in town to sightsee, not to go to football games) * we had a car and we wanted to drive as little as possible in the more central areas of Paris on arriving and departing. This place worked well, as being on the outskirts of the city centre but yet having metro access to sightseeing areas. Decent price of parking nearby too. * Staff was VERY helpful. Very nice upon check-in in, they could give good adivce about parking that was better, nearer to the hotel and cheaper than the places we had looked at ourselves. On departure, the staff on duty helped with the luggage to the car. Very much appreciated! * near a metro so easy to get around If returning to Paris without a car or without big events such as Euro2106, I'd probably choose to stay closer to main tourist attractions, but this place worked well for our needs on this trip and the metro was easy to use.

« Lovely boutique type hotel »

We stayed here for a night for the Euros and it was a nice modern hotel. The room and bathroom was nice and the hotel was very clean. Location wise for us it was great as we were only a 15 minute taxi ride from the Stade De France. Staff were very friendly at the front desk and helped with recommendations. If there was a small gripe it was there was no parking so we had to pay 28 euros to pay in a private car park about a 5-7 minute walk away. Other then that everything was great with the hotel for our own needs.

« Great value hotel in Montmartre »

We stayed here for 3 days having been here a couple of years ago. We found it a great base for the city. The rooms are reasonably sized and well equipped. The Good. 1. The rooms are reasonably sized for Paris and the decor is pleasant. There was a safe, coffee facilities and fantastic air conditioning which was easy to work. The lighting was good and there was good storage. There was a lift available. 2. The bathrooms was larger than in the previous room and the shower was great. The toiletries provided were good. 3. The location is convenient to Jules Joffrin metro station and there are lots of bars and restaurants in easy walking distance. 4. The staff were efficient and helpful. 5. The cost of £120 per night was great value. The Bad Nothing much wrong. Overall After a second visit, I would happily return again and recommend to anyone looking for a good value hotel in Paris.

« Better than the average three-star hotel! »

I am pleased with this hotel in every aspect. Of course, I knew from the start that I am booking on a three-start hotel and did not have expectations for large rooms or spacious areas. The room was clean and recently renovated. The bathroom was clean and the shower functioning good. The continental breakfast was more than good for me. But most important, the staff was very friendly and helpful! Always with a smile. That is why I rate it as top of the three-star range. Recommended.

    « Booked for Euros 2016 »

Simple small Hotel good Location for Stade de France. Small rooms but clean. Decent Breakfast spread. Close to Sacre Coer and metro stations. Lots of cafes in area. Area may appear to be intimidating late at night but we felt safe. Free wi fi. Excellent Indian restaurant the Safari 50 metres away. Walking distance from Moulin Rouge.

    « A True "Prince" of a Hotel »

This is a great little hotel that on paper looks quite far from the heart of Paris until one measures the distance on a map!. It is close to Jules Joffrin Metro and so everything you will want to see is quite accessible. We had three nights recently and found all the staff [it changes a lot over the weekend] were helpful and friendly. The regular management could not have been more helpful on our arrival, assisting us with parking and then our luggage and checking us in speedily so that we could then drop off a car at the Charles De Gaulle Airport and return. Breakfasts are simple but even "simpler" ones are available from a nearby Boulangerie! There is also no shortage of restaurants and bistros close by. Entrance is generally controlled by reception [they will see you or be called by a push button buzzer] which might seem a nuisance but is really another layer of security for guests. Our room was 6th floor and opened out onto the street and we had no noise issues. [And it is great to have a window that opens!] We were a bit concerned about references to small rooms in some of the reviews, but this really only refers to the amount of free space at the end of the bed, where it is a bit less than in some. Anyone travelling with a "standard" amount of luggage should not have too much trouble. We had booked and pre-paid through a well known booking site and had absolutely NO problems with our account.

« A wonderful small hotel with an excellent and friendly staff »

Room on the 4th floor - view of Sacre Ceur Cathedral from our window - Rooms recently redone - Hotel is very accessible - bus in front of the door - Metro 7 minutes walk-Many small restaurants and pubs within 10 minutes walk of the hotel - A friend and I stayed there for 18 nights in September of last year - great experience - we would go back to the same hotel on our next trip to Paris - without question - excellent value for the money - BTW. Even though the hotel is on a main street, windows are pretty well soundproof - Sorry for the delayed review - but - better late then never !

« A lovely hotel and holiday, which was ruined after returning to the UK »

Firstly I would like to say how great a hotel this was for me and my girlfriend to stay at for four nights a few weeks ago. The rooms are great, clean and the hotel is in an excellent location. I wish I could leave my review as above and award the hotel the five stars we felt it deserved. However.. the hotel can not be trusted. I had booked via hotels.com and choose the option to pay the hotel in the local currency at the end of our stay. This went as expected and when we checked out I got the bill for the four nights and paid the full amount in Euros. The booking had however been guaranteed with my Visa debit card when making the reservation on hotels.com. After realising approx £140 was missing from my current bank account I called Natwest's fraud department who confirmed two payments had been taken on 31st March and 2nd April from a company called 'AJ Hotels'. Via Google I have noticed this hotel used to be called AJ hotels so the link is there. Natwest have refunded me the money but I am still yet to hear back from the hotel with an explanation. We didn't check in till April 3rd so why on earth UNAUTHORISED transactions were made a few days before I am yet to find out. Maybe this was just a mistake and I will be able to give the hotel the 5 stars it deserves but until I receive an explanation I can not recommend this hotel. There is also concern that potentially a member of staff has done this without the hotels knowledge. My review will be updated accordingly once I've heard an explanation from the hotel management.

« Great staff, great stay. »

We had a great stay at the Prince Montmartre. It's ideally located near the Jules Joffrin metro station and a pleasant walk to the Sacre Coeur. We had a fabulous view of the Sacre Coeur from our room. Our room was very noisy as it faced onto the main road but this is to be expected in a capital city so it didn't bother us. Breakfast had a nice selection of fruit, yoghurt, eggs, cereals, pastries and cheeses so there was something for everyone. I would definitely go back to this hotel if I ever visit Paris again.

    « Perfectly placed »

Rooms are small but ample for a couple - you get what you pay for! Just a couple of minutes from Jules Joffrin metro and links to all of Paris. A steepish walk upto Sacre Couer but plenty of cafes bars etc on the way to rest awhile. Our room had a shower; very clean and modern; breakfast was euro 12 pp and buffet so all you can eat to set you up for the day ( don't sit near the door BTW, because you get a blast of cold air whenever it opens! ). Staff all helpful and friendly. Also, quite a small hotel so get more of a personal service. Plenty of cafes bars restaurants etc around the hotel if you don't fancy a trek into Paris or the climb upto Sacre Couer.

« Three lovely nights in Paris »

A lovely hotel which was very quiet being on a main road.Staff were exceptional.Rooms are big by French standards.I left my £200 electric toothbrush in my room and phoned once I got home and the hotel are going to send it back to me. I would not hesitate to recommend here.

« Good and tidy hotel »

Good hotel and bus stop out side to the centre of Paris 15 minutes , very clean and tidy room all looked new only 30 mins is from cdg. Breakfast was nice and plenty of variety. Would stay again and highly recommend it.

    « Lovely hotel! »

Stayed 4 nights as a couple, gorgeous hotel very modern and has everything you need for a short break. Room was clean and cosy, bathroom with shower immaculately clean. Free WiFi, safe and air conditioning included. Breakfast was good, a selection of pastries, bread, eggs which you could boil to your taste, yoghurt, fruit, cereal and juice. All staff were very polite and helpful. Great value for money! Good location close to lots of shops and restaurants, patisseries on every corner, yum!! A lovely Italian restaurant just 2 minutes walk away called Di Sapri definitely worth a visit! The nearest Metro station Jules Joffrin was a 5 minute walk away with easy access to anywhere in the city! Overall a great stay and I would definitely stay there again if we were to return to Paris.

« Quiet, small, great location and exactly what we wanted »

Quiet and small. Our room had everything we needed (bed, air-conditioning, toilet, sink, a window that opens and shower). The only thing we missed was a refrigerator for bottled water we bought at the Carrefour across the street, but it wasn't that important and doesn't take away a star. Every staff member we met or interacted with were polite, helpful and spoke English fluently. On our last day there was something wrong with the B-train to the airport, and the woman in the reception helped us get a shuttle out for 36 euros. Offers a nice breakfast buffet in the lobby in the morning, and you can also hang out there reading the paper, taking a cup of coffee from the machine and so on. No bar or restaurant, but we never needed any of those anyway. The area around Rue Ordener offered a lot of great restaurants, cafés and bars. The hotel is situated close to the metro station Jules Joffrin, where the dark green colored line 12 can take you to the inner core of Paris in about 20 minutes. Simplon on the purple line 4 is also close, taking you right to the Notre Dame in around the same time. The gorgeous Sacré-Cæur is 15 minutes away and with it the charming Montmartre neighborhood which this hotel, I think, is technically situated in. All in all great stay and we'll definitely return one day!

    « Nice quiet hotel »

Good location. Great staff. Small like most Paris hotels, but comfortable and modern. We got a great price. The metro was about four blocks away. Great Italian restaurant up the street. Lots of patisseries and places to pick up food on the go. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

    5
    « Very pleasant stay »

We had a comfortable room with a view on the Sacre Coeur Cathedral. Breakfast buffet was nice and the staff helpful and pleasant. Location is great at the bottom of the Montmartre hill and a short distance by bus from Gare du Nord. Great shopping streets nearby with lots of lovely French cheesemongers, caterers, etc.

    4
« Good place to stay in Paris »

The hotel is located in a neighbourhood with restaurants and shops nearby. There are also some metro stations. Sacre Coeur is a short walk, although straight up. My room was quiet and fairly large for Paris. There was a nice breakfast, wifi and the room was clean. I would stay there again.

    4
    « Great location »

A lovely hotel in montmartre. I would definitely stay there again. The rooms are a bit small but if you are in Paris for sight seeing u probably not gonna spend much time in the hotel room anyways. The rooms are elegantly furnished and the bathrooms are new and neat. There are two metro stations about 5 mins away from the hotel. The walk to the stations are pleasant and the boulangerie close by is probably the best we tried in Paris.

    4
    « Great location »

This hotel was in great spot close to two metro lines, convenience stores, restaurants and bars, shopping centre, close to all tourist attractions. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We had 4 nights here, the rooms were clean, mini bar fridge a bonus and we could see the Eiffel Tower from our room - stunning in the evening!!!

    5
« Perfect location, good value, safe, clean »

I stayed here 2 nights, it's a nice ckean, quiet, safe hotel in a good location. My room was immaculate, small but perfect for one, very quiet, and excellent location. Great value if you book ahead, especially. Recommend and will return.

    « Dissatisfied »

The room didn't face the street so it was a bit depressing. The room was clean but too small. There was no fridge and the toilet was in a separate room from the shower. The breakfast had no diversity and it was the same every day. They didn't leave us soap for two days and we had to ask for it. Overall, i wouldn't go again

    4
« Quite easy acces to metro stations, nice location »

The breakfast was ok, but not too diversified. Chic room and modern bathroom. Good meal options in the area, a non-stop shop a few blocks away. As a minus, there is no fridge in the room. We had a room at the last floor and the wi-fi signal in the room was poor.

    4
« Everything you want and need... »

This is just what you'd expect from a Best Western , from the knowledge I have of them so far through time. It is clean, tidy, very easy to get around the city from via the metro system of which the nearest station is not far to, the staff are friendly and give good service. The hotel has free wi-fi in the rooms , a small " business type " nook in the wall area consisting of computer and printer, luggage storage facilities and a breakfast area. The breakfast is the usual continental....croissants, pastries, toast, juice, yoghurt, and you can boil your own eggs if you like in a neat little boiling machine they have. You put the egg into a wire ladle , lower into boiling water and some minutes later there you have the boiled egg. The room has everything you need as per standard hotel ( even free bottle of water ) and it was great how the room attendant cleaned the room so well every day we were there. Great service!!! . There is a small supermarket not too far away but the area around that seemed to be frequented by alcoholics and " ladies of the night " ....so somewhere to stay away from late at night. All in all a very enjoyable stay and yet another I would recommend to others to stay in.

« Well situated, well maintained, comfortable and convenient. »

Lovely, quiet, and well located in the 18th with bus stop just outside the front door and a Metro station just three blocks away. The room was clean and of a good size relative to Parisian standards. The staff was friendly, helpful and spoke English in addition to French, of course. The breakfast was worth the 12 Euro charge and the coffee was especially good. I did have an issue with getting a WiFi connection in my room, but reception in the lobby area was good. I would stay at the Prince Montmartre again and would happily recommend it to my family and friends.

    3
    « Small but good »

The hotel is small and cosy. When you spend the day ouside sightseeing, that's enough. Otherwise you maybe want to go for something with bigger rooms. We had a room on the street side. At night that can be a bit of a problem because of the noise. For a bit of fresh air you need to keep the window slightly open. Otherwise the air gets really dry in the (small) room. The street the hotel is located on, is busy till late at night. That may cost you your night sleep. The hotel is clean and staff is friendly. WiFi is a bit slow, but free.

    4
« Cosy, but not close to Montmatre »

This small hotel is clean and newly redecorated. I hope you like turquoise! It has everything you need but we didn't find it convenient for Montmatre. Breakfast was nice for €10 extra. Annoyingly the hotel debited out credit card when we wanted to pay cash.

    4
    « 3 night stay in Montmarte »

Lovely little hotel! Situated in a part of Paris where we hadn't stayed before. Rooms were small but well appointed. Lovely decor and very clean. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Nice continental breakfast. Short walk to nearest Metro and not far from the Sacré-Coeur.

    4
« Great hotel for short term stay »

The hotel is as others describe it. Very small - I think four days max is the limit amount I could stay in such a small room. There is barely enough room to put your two suitcases in! It is walking distance to Sacre Couer which is a very pretty place to spend a day. You can take the subway to the main area of Paris (Eiffel Tower) just make sure you ask someone at the hotel to help you as I believe it was two different metro's. A cab ride is about 16 Euro's each way. Air conditioning worked as did the wifi. Note that the room with two single beds are just a few inches apart from each other so still very close!!

    3
    « Lovely hotel »

Lovely hotel, breakfast basic but food nice, beds very comfy. Location is in the heart of locals, although didn't bother us, was a bit of a walk to other parts of montmartre, eg. Moulin rouge or sacre coure. We were there fri to tue and lift wasn't working whole time we were there

    5
    « A great find »

Stayed for 4 days recently. Located in a nice neighbourhood with a metro station on the same street that connects to the more central areas very easily. Also easy to connect to the metro line for Gare du Nord, for airport transfers. Local neighbourhood has plenty options for dining and shopping too, and these are better value than the restaurants in the centre of the city. Hotel is spotlessly clean, staff were polite and courteous and my room, although small, was very well equipped for a short stay with a good shower & toiletries, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a great comfortable bed. Breakfast was continental style, with a good choice of juices, fruit, cheeses etc - ideal for a light start to a day. Pricing was also great - far better value than the hotels situated nearer to the main tourist sites.

« Great hotel in Montmartre »

Very nice, clean and confortable hotel in Montmartre, near Jules Joffrin metro station. Rooms clean and quiet; excellent breakfast. A great value for money! Also the staff is very kind and helpful...surely reccomended for a trip in Paris!!

Friendly staff, quite good location, view at Sacre coeur noisy street, you can hardly open the window and go to bet, small, nice, clean room. Monotonous breakfast but for three nights is good.I can recommend it

« A great choice for a short Paris break »

We had a smallish but lovely room with a view of Sacre Coeur Great location on the less hectic side of Montmatre. Lovely stroll to the top of the hill without the hordes making their way up on the south side. Lovely small shops and bistros in the local area.

« Good location in Paris »

The room was small, which I expected, but very clean and comfortable. The only thing missing was a mini-bar! The sink did not drain when we arrived, but was remedied by the time we needed it. The breakfast was good. The staff was very knowledgable about metro and bus information. Located close to Jules Joffrin metro stop, you can get anywhere from there easily. We would definitely stay again.

    « Locked your lugage »

Really nice location, I had an excellent stay until I found out that some of my stuffs disappeared during my stay. Off course I called the reception and no of the staff found them. Please if you plan to stay in this hotel just ensure to lock your luggage.

We went to Paris for our honeymoon. The hotel was at a five minute walk of the metro. The people working at the hotel were very nice. The room was comfortable. I would recommend to all without hesiting.
