Best Western Montcalm

We were 7 people on a business trip and we chose this hotel as it had walking distance to Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. We had a small misunderstanding regarding the booking policy for groups, but the staff did all they could to help us and it was all sorted out. We also had a minor mishap with the lock on one of the doors and this was also taken care of swiftly. The temperature of the water in the shower was a bit unpredictable but that is understandable when lots of people are using the hot water at the same time. My room wasn't close to the elevator and I found the room really quiet. The room was also very clean and larger than I thought based on the pictures on the website. The hotel is located very close to a Metro stop and there are several cafés and restaurants close by. A special thanks to Nitin in the reception who made sure we had a nice stay. :)

Terrible customer service, zero customer support. A nightmare booking We faced a problem with our Visa & we weren't able to board the plane, I called the hotel & explained the problem & requested to postpone our stay 2 weeks similar to what the airlines did with us. I was instructed to send a note to booking. com. I did as requested & called the hotel twice (as international call) and also called booking.com support line in USA. The hotel simply stated that they won't assist with anything while Booking.com tried to contact facility on topic & explained that they don't mind postponing the reservation or even charging me a penalty fee but not losing the whole amount paid. But the hotel didn't accept and charged me the whole amount even though I didn't arrive!! Last May I visited another hotel from the chain M Treize the service was amazing and helpful this is why insisted on my husband to go for the chain of hotels again in Paris. Yet what I faced was a first in all my years of travelling & dealing with Hotels. Montcalm experience & customer support was unacceptable in the hospitality standards.

Couldn't fault the hotel and staff. The room was immaculate. We had a basic classic twin room over looking the gorgeous Paris street. The rooms aren't sound proof but it was quiet. Bigger than most Paris city standards. The hotel has loads of nice restaurants and a metro right on the doorstep. We booked on line direct and got an offer with breakfast. Which would of been an expensive add on if it had not been-however we were greatful for the great start it gave us for a day site seeing. The staff were all courteous and helpful (shout out to the breakfast lady and all reception staff). Before people write negative reviews they need to remember this is 3* and a fantastic example of this category. Would definitely stay again.

Good but little bit old and not convenient for families. Rooms are fairly European sized (on the tighter side) and noise from the street and other guests can carry in and keep you up. Hotel personnel was friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself is not particularly attractive.

Great staff, friendly and accommodating. Good location away from the crowds and tourists. A more residential area yet not far from the Eiffel Tower Nice breakfast buffet. Parking locations nearby a plus. Good value!

I recently stayed at this hotel during a business trip to Paris. The hotel is situated perfectly within walking distances to many attractions/bars/shops/restaurants and especially close to the Paris metro. The hotel has a very professional team who are very accommodating and handle all requests in an excellent manner. The front of house are especially knowledgeable of any information you may need whilst staying in Paris. Breakfast was great the buffet offered everything you need to fuel up for the day, choice and quality superb. The lady that serves breakfast is a wonderful person her name is ‘Ede'. Rooms are great just perfect for a few nights stay in the city, they are well equipped. Sleep quality is fantastic, comfortable beds and good quality towels. Housekeeping prepare your room nice and clean for your return. There is a small courtyard where you can relax and unwind after a long day out in Paris. I will be returning to this wonderful hotel.

All installations are súper confortable. It a small hotel, but ideal for a family of 4, close to subway and gorgeous comercial streets. Very quiet neighborhood with excellent restaurants and convenience stores.

I had a Best Western-Montcalm reservation from July 28th - August 2nd, booked through Expedia, which had to be canceled as a result of circumstances outside of my control. Due to delays by the travel visa application center and embassy, I was unable to obtain my visa in time for the trip. I kindly asked the hotel weeks in advance to work with us to receive a refund, partial refund, or even a hotel stay credit several times. Despite being unable to stay any nights, they still required us to pay the full price of $718. This is a steep price to pay for not receiving anything in return and no effort on their part. However, they not only refused to work with us or even provide a limited gesture of understanding, they sold my room to other customers to DOUBLE PROFIT!! This became apparent as they were sold out during the window of our intended stay. They kept avoiding our request by referring us back to Expedia, who referred us back to the hotel. Please avoid staying at Best Western as they do not seem to care about their guests. They are willing to lose loyal Best Western customers over a short term double profit opportunity!!!!

Lovely hotel and comfy beds, very clean, friendly staff, nice area with cafes ,near the metro to get to anywhere you want to see in Paris. Only downside was the buzzing from the lift, my son had to move rooms after two nights because he couldn't sleep. Sort out the lift buzzer and you'll get five stars.

This hotel is conveniently located near everything, the Metro is right on the corner. You can be at the Eiffel Tower & Louve Museum quickly. The staff is friendly and Nitin the clerk was so helpful and has good customer service. He made excellent suggestions of where to go for a nice dinner. Hotel rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable and breakfast in the morning was a plus. I will return and stay here again. I love the old feel of the hotel.

There was a terrible electrical vibrating noise from near the air conditioning unit, which was triggering every minute or so. We brought this up several times to the personnel at the reception, and showed them audio recordings, but they told us the hotel was fully booked so there was nothing they could do. We couldn't sleep properly for 3 nights straight. I was terribly disappointed and wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is a well run and welcoming hotel in Paris. The staff are very helpful and the hotel is clean. We've stayed here 4 times and will return. The area is safe and it's easy to travel around Paris from here (including to St Germain, Bastille) while also staying in a residential area. There are several good brassieres, excellent bakeries in the area. As for restaurants, try l'os a moelle for simple classic French cooking.

There are many good things about this hotel, but firstly I must say that the hotel staff are super friendly and the two guys on reception during our stay went above and beyond, in offering advice and suggestions during our stay, they were exceptional. The hotel itself is in a great spot, a quieter neighbourhood, but feels very safe and friendly. The metro station within yards gives great access to the rest of Paris and you soon get used to jumping on and off. Lots of great traditional french cafes, a fantastic Italians and various supermarkets and shops all within yards of the hotel. Anyone like us travelling with teenagers, go for the family room, it's ideal with a bathroom but two completely seperate bedrooms (no need to make do with pull out beds). Being a little out of centre I believe gave a better experience of Paris, with all the major attractions being only a short journey away and easily accessible. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough.

We have stayed at the BW Montcalm several times now. The service is always excellent and this time was no exception. I always expect European rooms to be small, but they are clean, and the service is excellent. I typically do not stay at BW hotels in the U.S., but when in Europe, the are one of my first choices. The area is terrific and the neighborhood safe and lively. There is a metro stop just outside the hotel door. Convenient, and plenty to do around the neighborhood. We will definitely be back in Sept when we visit Paris again.

Clean, located steps from a metro stop, 2 great restos nearby. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast is great value; lots of food, wonderful selection and bubbly attentive staff. Front staff were friendly. We extended our stay by 2 nights and concierge was able to minimize disruption and get us a room, despite very heavy bookings. Able to get us a taxi to airport at last minute despite gas shortage. Room was typical small compared to North American standards but was able accommodate 4 suitcases. Both rooms we stayed at had bathtubs.

Fantastic stay! Excellent location and the staff were very helpful. In particular Nitin at the front desk made us feel extremely welcome from the moment we arrived and was so helpful with everything from restaurant reservations to directions to must-see things in Paris. Will definitely be back!

Convenient for public transit. Simple accomodation that is clean and affordable. The staff were amazing adn I really felt welcomed during my visit. Would not hesitate to recommned BW Montcalm to others.

This hotel has a friendly staff, clean rooms and a nice ambiance. It has a good location as well in a very nice residential neighborhood, far away from tourists but a taste of what living in Paris is like.

The gentleman that checked us in was extremely helpful. Everyone we delt with was amazing. They have quite a selection of restaurants nearby that had great selections. I would definitely stay here again.

This trip is dedicated to my teenage daughter's first experience in Paris. We picked the right hotel and location. Our stays at BW had been amazing! The price is reasonable and the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds! Not to forget warm and friendly staffs. Starbucks just across the street and walking distance to Eiffel Tower, Lafayette, Mc Donald's, street cafes and stores nearby. Very convenient location. Also close to the train station. We enjoyed our stay here. Exceed our expectations

The smallest hotel room I ever have stayed at and very noisy, because you could hear the Metro in the room. And at the most expensive price. I hardly slept for 2 day because of the noise from the Metro. The hotel should inform the guests about this on the forehand.

Rooms are small, but then they all are around Paris. The bathroom was very good size. The bed was comfortable. There were enough outlets for electronics for one person. (might be enough for two) It's close to an ATM, the metro (and it's at one end, so seating is usually available) a pharmacie (covid test for airplane) grocery stores and a restaurant that had an english speaking waitress. The breakfast had proteins, fruits, pastries, cereals and a coffee machine along with tea and there were juices also.

near the Eiffeltower and in one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods of Paris! Near every shop and pharmacy you need! Excellent Staff, very friendly and sympathetic! My room was very calm facing the garden. It looks exactly like the photos! I'll be sure to go back there again as soon as I can!

I was welcomed by the warm, efficient and very professional staff and every effort was made to ensure my comfort. I asked for vegan options during breakfast, and even though this is not normally part of their breakfast, they made a huge effort to accommodate me, also taking suggestions to heart.

We stayed in Paris 4 nights at the Montcalm, the Hotel is near the Underground-Metro, but due to the Strike in Paris they have limited runs and times. We ended up walking all through Paris, which is a great experience. The Montcalm is about 20-25 mins walk from the Eiffel Tower and Trocadero. The Siene is about 5 mins away and the Citroen Parc. There are a few restaurants and small market-stores nearby. The service from the staff is very good and the breakfast is good as well.

We stayed for a couple of nights, the location is great. Very close to the metro (except with the strikes it wasn't running). The room was very clean but quite small and very very hot. Advertised with air conditioning but whatever we tried we could only get it to blow a tiny amount of warm air. So even though it's December we roasted. Another issue, you can hear other rooms. I don't know if it was upstairs or next door but they were having a good time!! Not ideal.

Good location close to the underground. Rooms are not spacious but clean and the beds are very comfy. If you are a light sleaper ask for a room not near the lift as this is very noisy. In the area are nice restaurants and the Eifel tower is a 20 minutes walk away.

Stayed there for 3 nights during my visit last week. The hotel is located very near to the Boucicaut Metro which is suitable. There are local supermarkets, nice patisseries and beautiful small restaurants which are very convenient for a quick bite or a relaxing dinner. Eiffle Tower is a 20 minute walk

A group of 10 of us stayed at this hotel whilst attending a major Congress in the city. Whilst the rooms were on the small size, this being what you would expect in a city hotel, they were perfectly adequate and immaculately maintained. The hotel staff were most attentive and helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to others, if in the vicinity.....

We stayed six nights in July at this hotel. We picked it because we had family staying around the corner at an Airbnb. The hotel was perfect for us. It was right next to the Metro, and we could walk to the Eiffel Tower (or take a few stops on Metro). We traveled by Metro extensively on our visit, and having the Metro right there was very helpful. The rooms were small, but I think that is true anywhere in Paris. And the room rate was very reasonable. We got good value for our money. Breakfast was extra (at least with our room rate), and we ended up paying for it so we could start the day without having to look for something to eat.

rooms 1 and 2 that I both experiences are the worst. AVOID THOSE. I found paying 360 EUR for such a lousy place outrageous. There are many other place in the 15th arrondissement in Paris much more cost effective

In the 15th with a few really good restaurants nearby , The front desk staff excellent and will really go the extra mile to make sure you are happy in their hotel. Terrace outside was a big plus , to be able to sit under the trees, to have a glass of wine and listen to the small stream they have, small area but really magical at night .Location great if you want to be reasonably near to Roland Garros which is what we did, which is why there is only a 9 for location. I prefer to more near the 5/6th otherwise.

Location of the hotel is brilliant. Everything including the metro on your door step. Some great restaurants and cafes on your doorstep and a well stocked supermarket. Our hotel room was ok, very...'compact' Let's just say when your knees touch the wall when you are sitting on the throne you know space is at a premium!!! Nowhere to put toiletries apart from a small shelf above the toilette! Place at your own risk. A foot each side of the bed made getting up at night a bit of an obstacle course. The hotel had a lovely garden which felt very peaceful and everything else was pleasant.

The hotel is in a very good location, with monoprix supemarket just beside it and a metro station just infront of it.The staff was very friendly especially "Ali" he is a very polite ,friendly and cooperative receptionist , he is one of the reasons we loved the place , the overall experience is great and we will definetly come back again.

This my second visit to this Hotel .. son nice place and great in center the staff and breakfast so nice and service so fast and clean room ... I will back to this hotel next summer .. thanks for cooperation

We picked the Best Western Montcalm for our stay in paris, the room was clean, fresh and modern but small which is what is expected in Paris. It's in close walking distance to Lidl and 30mins from the Eiffel Tower. Make sure you use UBER as taxi drivers will rip you off here. One equivalent to the Black Cab said it was 35 euros back to our hotel and UBER charged us 10 euros. We didn't have any problems and staff greeted with a hello.

The hotel is very small, the rooms are particularly small. The service was friendly and the rooms were clean and tidy. The hotel is close to the exhibition centre and a collection if amazing restaurants. In terms if value it was way overpriced, clearly they are capitalising on people needing hotels in proximity to the Exhibition centre. One tip, avoid the breakfast, the charge is €15, it is a total rip-off.

Very nice located hotel with a truly kind and helpful staff. I have stayed there many times for work with my colleagues and every time its a real joy to stay there, Nice and clean rooms and I mention it again; a really kind and helpful staff.

Perfectly located boutique hotel. Public transport at the front door, supermarkets and restaurants in the same block. Compact room with wifi, air conditioning and opening window. 2 guests lounges and a cute courtyard to relax in. Very helpful bi-lingual staff. Couldn't fault this accomodation. Highly recommended

Not the newest of hotels but well kept and relatively clean. Located in the vicinity of metro station so this facilitates travel to the best parts of Paris. Breakfast is varied and well stocked. Excellent Staff who are always ready tov go out of their way to assist in both French and English.

We stayed 2 nights as a family of 4. We were allocated rooms next to each other which was very helpful. Reception staff very helpful and attentive. The rooms are small but perfectly formed! Lovely views and a very "French" feel. There's lots of little café bars dotted around and a supermarket close by. The hotel is right next to the metro stop to very convenient. If I was to return to Paris I would definitely stay here again. Great value for money

The staff were very helpful. Train/Metro stop on the block, short ride on metro to Eiffel Tower area. Rooms were nice, smaller size compared to US but bathroom modern. I liked the hotel and would stay again.

We visited as family including two small children. Convenient location: next to cafes, restaurants, and a super market. Good air conditioning, enough amount of shower, good drainage, and friendly staffs, which are not usual in Paris at this price. We liked a small garden as well. Breakfast was not attractive but ok.

I very much enjoyed my stay in the hotel. The room was comfy and clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The 15e district of Paris is a great lively area located at a walking distance from the Eiffel towel.

Loved this hotel & would definitely stay again. Everyone on reception during my stay was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area and is right next to a metro stop so, it's very easy to find. The metro ride to eg Champs Elysee is around 10-15 minutes. There are plenty of shops and cafes around the hotel and I would recommend ‘La Rotonde' for lunch. I stayed in a single room located on the ground floor at the back of the hotel. The room looked out to a lovely little garden area with a relaxing water feature. All in all this is a nice hotel with great staff set in a quiet location. Definitely recommended!

The hotel is extremely well situated in a quiet and family-minded neighborhood with cafés, restaurants and even a Starbucks (for those addicted to bad coffee). We were upgrated upon check-in and the room was excellent in size and comfort. The bathroom is spacious and the shower magnificent, which is hard to find in Paris. Breakfast was generous and well priced, which makes it mandatory for those wishing for a long day out. Front desk is kind and effective. The only critics I'd make is room cleaning: if you like to sleep until a bit late be prepared: they start early and neighboring rooms and make a lot of noise, waking you up as if telling you to go out and let them prepare the rooms... which they do well since cleaning is excellent.

Lovely hotel in a great location. The hotel is cozy, clean and well taken care of. The staff at the reception is perfect. Always helpful and kind. Was in this hotel for several times and always like to come back there. My stays thanks to it are very ‘calm'. Many shops around. And great connection with other parts of the city.

Good location right next to metro station where you can get around Paris. We walked to javel which was a RER station straight to Versailles which was only a 20 minute walk. There's a lovely cafe on the corner for lunch. Axuria is a much for dinner one night and la romanella for a pizza down the street. The hotel was compact but nice, it has a premier inn feel to it, we had a lovely little balcony which had a nice view. If you get a bedroom right next to the lift Ask to swap rooms as you will hear the lift all through the night. It's worth every penny we booked through booking.com and got it for really cheap.

Lots of nice restaurants and a grocery store and Starbucks very close. Nice clean rooms. Breakfast is simple but good.

We went to Paris for the Marathon. We stayed at Montcalm 2 days and we really enjoyed the hotel. Very good located, clean and comfortable. The staff was really nice and helpful. I recommend this hotel to everyone!

Recently I was in Paris and stayed at this wonderful hotel for a week. I would recommend it to everyone. My room was small and cosy with a beautiful view. The bed was really comfortable and large! I had wonderful rest. The room was cleaned every day and I really do mean cleaned – everything changed, filled, wiped and etc. The reception staff was absolutely amazing! I had some problems with my transport arrangements to the Airport on the last day (it was my mistake), but the staff representative (I forgot to ask his name from all the stress) was so nice and helpful, he solved everything and after a short period of waiting I was finally traveling to Airport. He was really helpful and supportive, and most important, he really helped me a lot. So if you hesitating about this hotel believe me, it is great choice as the staff will do everything in order to help you if needed. Also the location of the Hotel is great. The metro station is couple of meters from the entrance to the Hotel. The neighborhood is really cozy, full of great coffee-bars and restaurants. There is a big grocery shop couple of steps from Hotel (for a good vine or cheese or whatever :)

Great little hotel in a fantastic location, close enough to walk to the Eiffel tower and even closer to the Metro if you want to ride there! Very clean rooms and the staff are very helpful, even arranging for the flowers for my wife on Valentines day.

The location was conveniently located about 2 minutes walking from the Boucicaut Metro stop, which made it very easy to get around. The staff were friendly and helpful. Unlike many of the beds I've slept on in European hotels, there was actually a single full-size mattress rather than two twin mattresses simply pushed together. That was nice. There was a Starbucks and a Monoprix just across the street. I wouldn't say this is a touristy part of in Paris, but the proximity to the Metro and the nearby amenities made it just fine for a long weekend in the city.

Only stayed for one night, the rooms were all very clean and fairly modern considering the low price-point. Great service from the receptionist Nitin who helped us work around the public transport closures from the River Seine flooding.

The Best Western Montcalm Hotel is a comfortable well appointed hotel. I spent a week there and was happy with the size of the room and the amenities in the room. The bed and pillows are so comfortable that I wanted to run off with them. The bathroom was well equipped, however I feel that a bath chair should be given on request and the bath wash be changed as it smells odd. Customer Service is a big plus at this hotel. Nitin was particularly kind and helpful to me especially when I had a scare at the lavarie nearby. Nitin had a smile every morning and helped me with reconfirming a restaurant reservation that was difficult. Natalie, Yusuf and Alyan also were kind and personable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is attending a show at the convention center.

I visit Paris every year and would not stay at any other hotel. The staff are always helpful, the rooms are small but nevertheless very comfortable. The location on the Avenue Felix Faure in the 15th arrondissement is safe and pleasant with good restaurants nearby if you want to eat in the area. The nearest Metro station (Boucicaut) is just outside the hotel, so Paris is right on your doorstep. Montcalme's prices are very competitive compared to other hotels.

My husband and I stayed at the Best Western Montcalm Friday to Sunday 10 days ago. We had a great experience and stayed there again this past Saturday to Monday upon returning to Paris on our trip through France. The staff and service are excellent, the rooms we had were very clean and comfortable. The hotel also offers a great breakfast, which is well worth the approx. 6-7 Euros per Person if rooms are booked directly on their website. The area and location are also convenient with Boucicaut metro stop just outside their door on the corner and all amenities (cafés, restaurants, shopping, the Eiffel Tower, etc.) within walking distance. We have stayed at a lot of hotels in France and also a lot of Best Westerns (mostly in the U.S.), and this is one of the best of the Best Westerns we've experienced.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the bed was too hard and the pillows were like rocks. The locarion was good with easy access to the Metro, restaurants, and tourist sights. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

The hotel is very small and good for short stays. It is located in a nice and safe neighborhood. The underground is literally 2 minutes walk from the Hotel, so very very convenient. To get here from 'Gare du Nord' take line 4 underground to Strasbourg-Saint-Denis (Approx 4 minutes) and from there take line 8 to Boucicaut (Around 17 minutes).

Just steps away from the metro line at Boucicaut, this perfect hotel literally saved my life. I was killed from carrying a heavy rucksack and couldn't have gone a step further. In a lovely Paris residential area with cafes, bars and eateries nearby one couldn't ask for more. The hotel itself was clean and very welcoming and we got a great price online with booking.com. Convenient to Stad de France and Orly with metro transfers, this hotel comes highly recommended.

We were in Paris on a business trip for 4 days and use to take this hotel, which is very well located, very clean and the rooms are friendly and big (for Paris). The staff is mostly very polite, especially Mr Nikin who is very helpful and kind and treats every guest like a special guest. Service is excellent and so was the breakfast. Wifi is offered and the Lounge is very comfortable. Rooms are with A/C, which is very helpful in summer. There is a interior small patio and an extra garden with pond and possibility to sit and relax under a tree. Very nice. Special thanks to Mr Nikin and the cleaning staff, everything is so tidy! We will come back.

A small nice hotel with a good location in Paris. The hotel is very close to the subway (METRO) and the station BOUCICAUT. In the area, 15th arrangement, there are a lot of bars and restaurants. Good bed, clean and with a very good breakfast to be in France.

Stayed here with my fiancé for 3 nights in June. The staff was very nice helpful with questions and concerns. We had the breakfast option included, breakfast was good, no complaints. The room was bigger than expected and comfortable. The bathrooms seemed renovated but not necessarily the room itself. The location is right off the metro and a 25 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. There are lots of cafes and markets in the area. Stay was enjoyable and the price was budget friendly.

This hotel is the best kept secret in Paris. We booked the family room and it is a little cottage in the courtyard. We had two bedrooms with a big bathroom it was awesome! People are so helpful and spoke perfect English. There is a Starbucks across the street with a wonderful bakery a block away. You are only 2 subway stops from the Eiffel Tower and the subway is on the corner. If you are traveling with your kids this is a much better option than getting two rooms.

This hotel is in a nice area good for metro and not far from Parc des Exposition. Nice restaurants and great cafe on corner. Tip - have a room at rear of hotel. No view but quiet. The breakfast was very good. Had Earl Grey tea and Orange Marmalade always a good sign. Staff were very friendly and polite. A good place to stay.

The Best Western is located in a nice residential neighborhood, very close to Boucicaut metro station on line 8. In fact the exit closest to the hotel has an escalator... perfect for when you have luggage or when you are too tired to climb stairs. A half block away is a Monoprix grocery store. Across the tiny street is a Starbucks. A block the other way is a laundromat. The beds in the hotel are comfortable enough. The staff are very helpful. The downside is that the rooms are small and quite warm. We tried to put on the air con but it did not work.

A welcome that was exceptional. Good clean room and bathroom. Only downside was the noise but in every city you can not escape this problem. very easy to find if you get the Metro to Boucicaut and NOT Felix Fauvre!

Had to pay for a 2 rooms not used.Reserved at fixed price,meeting venue changed but Mount Calm refused to even hold credit for future use. Best Western Group have no influence so bear in mind what you are dealing with when staying here,

The Hotel Montcalm was a great place to stay: The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful; We enjoyed a lovely breakfast in very pleasant surroundings. Our room was clean and fresh with particularly comfortable beds. There were also very welcome tea and coffee facilities. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

I was completely dismissed when I reported that my phone had been stolen from my LOCKED hotel room. Instead the hotel manager told me that I should go and contact the police as there was nothing he could do. At the very least he could have spoken to members of staff who cleaned the room? Or looked into the matter? Perhaps shown the slightest bit of sympathy that my property was stolen? Very frustrating!!!

Friendly and welcoming at reception and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Also they have 'pocket wifi' for a small price which was very useful when going out and about in Paris! Thank you for a great stay!

Room was comfortable and very good bathroom facilities. The staff is why we keep coming back to this hotel. Very convenient to trains (line 8) as well. You won't regret staying here.

Excellent location and a good, large room on the ground floor with disabled access (Room 4 which had been recommended). Staff could not have been more helpful, really exceptional. I asked to view another room as I was concerned that I might be disturbed by the A/C vents outside the room but actually with the windows closed this was not an issue and room 4 is considerably larger than the other room I viewed. The metro is on the doorstep and it's really close to the major attractions. The trick with Paris is to know how it operates; buy a few tickets for the metro when you arrive - one ticket will last you for any number of changes within the system so you can go far and wide very cheaply. (keep your ticket as these are often checked). On the other hand this is the only cheap thing about it - it is a horrendously expensive city, and not helped currently by the weak pound. Think ahead - there's a brilliant new little "corner" shop diagonally opposite a few yards down from the hotel that will sell you very reasonably priced water, wine and good quality ham, cheese etc. and is open until 2 am, and there's a fab bakery on the same side of the road opposite the corner shop so make yourself a picnic!

This hotel has a very good location in a non tourist part of Paris. You are only a couple of doors down the metro (line 8) and there are many cafes and shops nearby. Cons. Smaller rooms by Americans Standards Three Star room decor System noises from plumbing and heating Pros. Residential Area no hoards of tourists everywhere. Metro line 8 and cafes are only a couple of doors down Comfortable Beds Reasonable hotel rates Clean and Safe Overall I had a Queen room on the street side of the hotel. There was some noise issues coming from the plumbing in the bathroom, but it most went away by closing the door. The bed was extra comfortable and I believe maybe the money not spent on room decor was smartly spent on the mattress and bed linens.I choose this hotel for is location and price and I was very pleased by both. The metro line close by was a great asset at night after a long day of sightseeing. The metro is cheap and once you find a station you can easily get to the hotel, even if you have become lost. The pros more than outweighed in cons for me because I spent very little time at the hotel ( sleeping and showering mostly ). The value is great because I had the most important aspects of location, clean, safe, comfortable, and not in a high tourist area ( tourists can be annoying even when you are one )

Hotel with nice location in 15th arrondissement in Paris on a nice street with many bars and restaurants 15 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower, shopping centers and Porte des Versailles exhibition center. Nice facilities, good breakfast. The room was clean, nicely decorated and had a comfortable bed. But the room was very small and there was a lot of noise from the air condition but also from other systems.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. A lovely neighborhood, steps from the Metro, with a few good restaurants around to choose from. We were upgraded to a large room which was lovely. We really enjoyed the breakfasts as well as the terrific staff in the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a wonderful experience. The neighborhood was pleasant, affording dining choices and yet sufficiently residential to provide a quiet retreat after a busy day in the large city of Paris. The manager and staff could NOT have been friendlier or more cooperative. Each one was extremely attentive to the needs of the guests.

Nice cosy little place in paris with excellent connectivity to metro. Best way to get from airport is to get down at city university stop & take tram/bus from there. For return they hav a nice shuttle tie up which I would recommend

Stayed here over May Bank holiday, and got a very reasonable price considering it was a bank hol. It's good central location, we were going to Roland Garros and walked in around 40 minutes. The Eiffel Tower is also about a 30 minute walk away. Rooms are small (standard in Paris) but clean and comfy bed. Staff were friendly.

On a 2 day vacation from Geneve to Paris, my husband and I spent a night in Best Western Montcalm. The hotel is conveniently located near Boucicat Station and literally a few steps away from the Metro. We were immediately assisted by its receptionist Nitin who granted our request to check in at noon. The room while small, is equipped with AC and TV. Wifi is also provided for free (access and password provided upon check in). Coffee, a bottle of water, heater were also provided without additional cost. Aside from the excellent service, the room is also very clean. It is my habit to always inspect the blessings for stains and spots... Didn't find any to my relief. The bathroom is quite big for an Asian like me. Two rolls of toilet paper, a 2-in-1 body and hair wash bottle, sanitary bags, and facial soap were also included as amenities. Bath and face towels were also provided along with a hot and cold options for shower. While the hotel does provide buffet breakfast as an option at 13€ per person, we decided to explore nearby restaurants and fast food for breakfast. We found a McDonalds near the area. Check out procedures are as no fuss as the check in. Hotel replies right away to queries. Note that tax is to be paid upon check out at the amount of about 4,50€. I will definitely book again in this hotel.

This is one terrific hotel in a nice neighborhood with several very nice cafes and, yes, a public laundry, all within less than a block, and extraordinarily nice, professional staff at the front desk. We had emailed ahead inquiring about how to reach the hotel, explaining that we were unfamiliar with Paris, and they said they could arrange for an independent driver to pick us up and deliver us to the hotel. We arrived several hours before official check-in time and they hurried to get our room ready for us early, which we really appreciated. Guests may have an absolutely delicious breakfast/brunch in a nice area on the first floor of the hotel, with great coffee, fruit juices, fresh pastries and much more for about 13 euros, a bargain particularly for those who are really hungry in the morning. Guest rooms have an electric pot to heat water for instant coffee or a nice selection of teas, and each room has a little safe too, but no microwave oven or refrigerator. We had asked for two beds, but were surprised that they were pushed together, which apparently is the style in much of Europe. They were very comfortable. The bathrooms have nice shower/tub combos which are a bit slippery, so be careful getting in and out. Very nice containers in the shower of a liquid soap that also works as shampoo, and do bring your own wash cloths, as they are not supplied. Traffic, including motorcycle traffic, is heavy in this neighborhood, so consider asking for a room NOT facing the street. Also the restaurant is for breakfast only, so scout out the neighborhood's cafes for other meals, as well as the Starbucks across the street.

We were so pleased with out choice of hotel. The Best Western Montcalm is located in a quiet but charming part of Paris, but has two metro stations on the doorstep for easy travel across the city and the outskirts. Our room was really comfortable, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There are lots of great restaurants and cafes in the neighbourhood, and also good shopping nearby (Rue du Commerce - approx 10 minutes walk). We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Best Western, and will definitely book it again when we return to Paris.

We stay here regularly when visiting family. This time, we stayed three nights. As ever, all the staff were very helpful, as we've come to expect. The hotel is in the XV-ieme arrondissement, a calm district with plenty of restaurants and bars within 10 minutes walk. Hotel is about 30 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower and about 30 seconds walk from Metro Boucicaut on Line 8. Rue de Commerce, a long shopping street leading towards the Eiffel Tower area, is about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Thoroughly recommended hotel. For cheapest rates, best to book direct on the hotel's own website.

Very good location as there are metro stops near by. Great room - I was worth it to pay a little extra for the larger garden view room. More space made this a very comfortable stay. It would have been better to have breakfast included in the price, but oh well.

Great hotel! Well located, next to the metro stop Felix Faure. Quiet area and very close to shops, supermarkets and restaurants. 15 min walk to the Eiffel Tower. Clean, quiet, perfect for couples. Very helpful staff. Reasonable price: around 350€/3 nights. Next time I'll go to Paris, I'll choose the same hotel!

This is a surprisingly well located Hotel, convenient for the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre - and not too far away from the central and more touristic parts of Paris. Very comfortable for a 3 star establishment with friendly staff. But booking during busy exhibition times will reveal quite high prices, based on demand, even for the usual rather compact rooms.

I have stayed here for many years and it is always a great budget option for Paris. Rooms are small but bathroom is fairly big. Great staff, helpful and knowledgeable. Best part is metro is literally outside door--great at end of day when you come home tired from walking all over Paris! Starbucks across street along with two good bistros, ATM, grocery store and good sushi restaurant.

Stay in Montcalm's superior double room for 4 nights, and it was great! The room is good size for 2 person, enough room to walk about. And there is bathtub! Very clean room and toilet. The staffs were friendly, always able to answer the questions we had. The location is excellent, closest station is Boucicaut station and it is a convenient line to attractions. There is a great supermarket and few good restaurants nearly by too! *Love the japanese restaurant opposite!

I regularly stay in this hotel when I work in Paris. The staff are extremely welcoming and caring. For example the breakfast lady made me a hot lemon and honey without me asking because she noticed I had a cold!! The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast is varied and good.

I chose this hotel due to its location near my meeting places. It is near the metro station and many cafes and shops. My room was SMALL, and the bathroom even smaller, yet clean and comfortable. No minibar but a kettle for tea and some water were complimentary.the staff was nice and helpful breakfast was OK for just 13€. Overall it was ok.

Stayed for 2 nights bed and breakfast on weekend break with my 80 year old mother. Booked a few months ago. Wanted a hotel within the top 500 Paris hotels on TA, good location, but on a budget. Also wanted a twin room. With all the above prerequisites this was one of the few hotels that met everything. Price was €135 approx. per room per night including breakfast. What I really liked about the hotel: Staff - from reception to breakfast staff, all very pleasant, very accommodating. Room - although small, standard for Paris. Nice balcony on 2nd floor onto street. Windows very soundproofed. Room was constantly hot, maybe a little too warm but it was 1oC outside! Bathroom perfect, underfloor heating nice. Breakfast was just right. But I would prefer boiling water for my tea, it was more just hot. They also had English breakfast tea bags which I was amazed how little I seen in Paris. Location: although a little outside the main tourist sights, the hotel is literally 50 metres from the metro. Being so close to the end of a line meant easy to get on in the mornings. Supermarket about 100 metres around corner, again super handy. Paris map published by hotel was a life saver a few times. Make sure you bring one with you. Overall: happy to recommend, price matched 3-4 star which is what I got. As I wanted breakfast included this excluded a lot of hotels for me, especially the budget ones. If you were happy to head out for breakfast I would imagine you could get a cheaper hotel. But you get what you pay for, and I was very happy in this case.

A very pleasant place to stay; we were very comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, but the area is such fun that you wouldn't want to spend much time in the hotel as there is so much to explore. We would definitely go back again.

A very good located hotel, 1 minute to metro station, many cafe & restaurants including starbucks around, Nice & kind staff, They know english good but if you are visiting in cold weather usually the air condition is broken! & it's really cold. breakfast is good but also other choices near hotel. it's not a big hotel at all &rooms are small but it didn't annoy us

My wife and I spend 3 great nights here and enjoyed ourselves a lot. We discovered much of old city from here. there is lot of reastaunts, cafés and bistros, so you will never starve. I recommend to everyone..... :)

Lovely, thoughtful, caring staff at reception. My room was really clean with gorgeous towels changed every day. I was surprised how quiet the hotel is, given the area. All in all, a good choice. I'll definitely go back.

Next to a public parking if you arrive by car. They have rate per day allowing multiple entries in teh period. Ask tel. number to hotel and book your parking spot before arrival - parking spot is garanty. Quiet et very clean room rooms. Very good ventilation in the bath room. Very comfortable bed. Nice breakfast room with a large TV screen (BFM TV channel) . Correct breakfast. Prefer package with breakfast included.

I found everything very good, location, service, cleaness. this is my 5th time in Paris and I can say it is one of the best 3 star hotels I have stayed for the price I paid, eur100 per night. I didnt try the breakfast which was not included in the price I paid. There is a Starbucks around the corner and two nice brassiere too so you have enough choices to have breakfast in case you dont want to have it at the hotel.

We arrived midday on a Friday for a two night stay. The receptionist was lovely and was able to get us into the room early which was really helpful. The room was small but comfortable and all you need to rest your head when going to go explore the sights of Paris. There is room for improvement, for example, the carpets going up the stairs look as though they need redoing but even so, It was still a lovely little hotel and the bed was very comfy! We had breakfast at the hotel on the Saturday morning and again was very tasty, small selection of hot and cold food but it included pancakes and nutella which suited me nicely lol. From the Eiffel tower to the hotel costed around 7e-10e in taxi fares, we noticed the meter rolls regardless of being stuck in traffic so it can vary depending on rush-hours etc. We did book the Eiffel Tower Tour with summit access and Seine River Cruise through CityWonders which was well worth the money too. All-in-all we wish we could have stayed longer, and would happily return back to this hotel.

Located in the heart of Paris in the 15th district, it is easily accessible by tram (15mins walk), tube or bus. A lift is available and the diner room is located on the basement. A patio is on the other ride of the hotel and is quite nice sitting there when the weather allows it! Concerning, the service, I must say that I did not experience any disagreement. All the staff was professional and nice. We used an offer on Groupon which included breakfast, which was a buffet and organized by a lovely lady. The room on the top floor was quite small as well as the bathroom but we enjoyed the best of Paris. I would recommend putting everything in the safe even for a five minutes slip away fro the room… Overall, for a short stay with my lover it was a good experience.

Close to Metro station. Staff very friendly, helpful and full of information. Had garden family room. Very tight space. Not enough room to open up our luggages. There was mould in the room with the 2 single beds. This was discovered when we pushed the single beds together so that my daughter wouldn't fall off the bed. The carpet and skirting board were mouldy and the quilt cover was also mouldy. Mattress was comfortable and so were pillows. We travelled with my mum who got her own room. Again her room was very small. Not much space to walk around the bed. Breakfast was good value for money. Small but varied options. There were pastries, scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, toast, cereals, yogurts, fruit, juices, coffee. Location - 9 stops away from Opera. Metro Boucicaut is very close to hotel. There is a supermarket Monoprix very close by too. Lots of restaurants around the area and a fantastic patisserie on the corner of the block called Le Grenier de Felix. Wifi worked well in the main part of the building but not in the garden room.

Visited Paris with family of 4 adults and stayed here for 5 nights. Good, clean, hotel with friendly staff. Location extremely convenient since it was steps from the Metro. Nice little courtyard within the hotel to sit and have a drink. Our kids had a nice room on the 5th floor while we had one on the first floor. Our room was very small which was fine, but the bathroom was extremely awkward. The toilet practically ran into the door to the bathroom so using it while closing the door was nearly impossible!! Our room faced the street but the street was very quiet since we were visiting in August when a lot of the local small businesses are closed. We enjoyed our stay but I would advise you to confirm details of your room and bathroom if you don't want to be inconvenienced. Great cafes very close by and Starbucks right across the street. Wifi code needs to be renewed every 24 hours. Would definitely stay here again.

Spent 4 nights in this well-run hotel. The staff were very frienfly and helpful. The room was clean, well equipped and ample for our needs. Towels were changed frequently, and everything worked as it should have. Lovely neighbourhood with supermarket around the corner, restaurants all around and Metro 50m away. We were a bit apprehensive when shown our room......next to elevator but didn't hear any noises and aircon worked silently and effectively.?? Won't even consider any other hotel in Paris. I stayed at this hotel on a recent business trip to Paris. I thought the condition and comfort of the hotel was very good and the receptionist was very helpful and welcoming when I arrived. The hotel is very close to the Metro which added convenience. The only disadvantage I found is that the hotel is located on quite a busy road so I would recommend getting a room at the rear of the building for a quieter night.

Paris in August was a very pleasent timeframe expecially for nice hotel location in a very calm area with metro station very close and some nice small restaurants around the hotel . A car parking is also available close to the hotel with offer in case of long time parking.

quiet clean room, small, but convenient for a few days Paris. WiFi network reached only one corner of the room (where small working desk is). lovely small courtyard for coffee or quick breakfast. nicely situated near métro, and near to several velo-parking stations. good relation with the local car parking station (expensive but safe). 15th arrondisement is not really in the centre of town but with métro station so near everything you want to visit is nearby.

The hotel is beautiful and the stuff is extraordinary helpful and nice! We had a great stay. And would always come to Paris again maybe just not in August because there are thousands of tourists and long waiting lines. The only thing we were missing was a French baguette at the breakfast buffet. It was a bit small but the stuff was really nice and they bought some soy milk and soy yogurts for us. We can really recommend this lovely hotel!

I stayed eight nights solo for my first trip to Paris. The location was excellent; steps from a metro station, four cafes, a grocery store, and a 30 to 60 minute walk to most tourist sites. My first concern was personal safety. There were nights I got in after mid-night without a worry. My second concern was value; clean and comfortable with good service. The rooms are small compared to American standards, but very well decorated and very comfortable for one. I slept better than I do at home! I had a courtyard view, which was an added cultural bonus. All the front desk personnel spoke excellent English and were always available to help me with my travel plans. I would stay here again in a heart beat!

The hotel is just fine, a bit expensive for the service provided. The lock in my room was broken and it was not very nice to get a "this is perfectly safe" for an answer. Could have provided a better service and the hotel should be kept in better shape.

The hotel is in a good location close to a Metro station. It is clean in general, but the rooms are really very small and need updates. The Staff is very nice and helpful, specially one girl originally from Venezuela., that speaks english very well.
