« Amazing view from the 7th floor »

We booked 4 nights here and they have great reception staff who are friendly, polite, informative, considerate and very welcoming. We came a a group of 3 friends and have found Paris extremely welcoming, friendly and a wonderful place to visit. The views from the 6th floor stairwell window is fantastic of the Eiffel Tower espically at night when it sparkles on the hour. It can be a great walk to the Eiffel Tower it can take about 20 mins to half hour or even more depending on how many great shops you stop at along the way.The cafes and paritisaries are endless and the staff are so friendly. The internet has been great to be able to keep in touch with family back home especially to be able to use it in your room so you don't have to go to the reception area. The Metro is close and you have a choice of 2. There are alot of Pharmacies so if you need anything there are many to choose from.

    « Never again! »

Had some problems with check in. Took an abnormally long time for her to locate our reservation information (it's a small hotel!) After finding it, she tried to give us a double room and told us check in was 1 PM. However, the print out from our booking (made directly with Best Western, not a third party) stated check in was 12 noon and were booked for a room with 2 single beds. Thankfully I had thought to print it and bring it. After I pointed this out, the receptionist tried to make me feel bad about asking for the room I had booked. Eventually I got it, but I really didn't appreciate her trying to make me feel guilty when it wasn't my mistake. I don't know if it was just the location of our room, but it was incredibly noisy! Doors slamming all hours of the day and night. Made it very difficult to get any sleep. The AC unit was barely functional. In 37 C degree heat, this is a huge factor. I had heat exhaustion the first day I was in Paris, and was unable to cool down with the lackluster AC unit. I kept tripping over the box spring of one of the single beds because it was sticking out further than the other, and I wasn't able to shift it. A digit of the wifi password given by front desk was illegible. I eventually figured it out through trial and error - thankfully it was a number. Because of the receptionists attitude during check in, I didn't feel comfortable asking for help. Same receptionist checked us out the next day. She was still quite rude to us. I don't know if that's just her personality, or she was still angry but it was not professional at all. I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. I expected far better for a Best Western hotel.

    « Ok hotel »

The hotel is ok if you are planning of going out and not staying in the room, because it is very small even the elevator can barely fit 3 people, but very convenient when it comes to transportation to visit monuments. Do not use uber around the area because they'll over charge you. Little market for snack I suggest Carrefour express. And if you request airport shuttle "only drop off" no pick up be ready to pay 36 euro cash and have your terminal number ready and leave 3 hrs in advance because you'll not be the only one riding the shuttle he'll have other pick up which they'll take their sweet time and "bonjour" for the traffic!!! Otherwise staff of the hotel are really welcoming except for one guy and the breakfast was ok (because they are not organize). Will I come back to this hotel for the price I paid? (Which was over $100) Nope because it was not worth it...

« Great Area, Sketchy Hotel »

We unfortunately booked 3 nights here. The location was perfect! Outside of location... Issues. For starters the "free" wi-Fi, was not operational. The first night we were told breakfast was included. (It wasn't) @16e per person... Expect horrid coffee, stale croissant, and no service. The elevator up (all rooms are up) only allows for 1 guest at a time. The receptionists greetings varied, some good some bad. Upon leaving we were told we had breakfast 2 days... We had not. Once that dispute was resolved they informed me I in fact was charged at 16euro per person for the putrid excuse for breakfast. We paid, and left. Will not be staying here again. My advice, pay up!

    « Very accommodating »

Had to leave a rental die to the filth and they were very accommodating to our needs since we are three people. Other hotels would not even attempt to help us but here they did. Nice clean rooms, good service.

    « Clean, comfortable & affordable »

Despite the extreme heat - 38c, in Paris on this day in late Aug, the air-conditioning was up to the job & we had a comfortable night's sleep. The lobby area was pleasantly furnished & there was a breakfast room behind, although we didn't use it, preferring instead to sit outdoors at one of the large brasseries in nearby Place Cambronne. The metro station, Cambronne, is right there.

    5
    « Perfect location »

The hotel is a budget hotel with small rooms and basic amenities.however it is clean and comfortable.the best part of the hotel is its location, if you want to explore Paris like a local, one must stay in the city center. The Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower are all within walking distance from the hotel. City center has cafes all around but In Cambronne one can find cafes serving different cuisines.

    « Served its purpose »

The location for this hotel was very good for the Eiffel Tower. It was only a 10 or 15 min walk to the Tower but is a bit out of the way from all the other attractions, however, Cambronne metro station is ony a 5 min walk from the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Our shower sprung a leak on the second day here and after notifying the front desk on the way out for the day, it was fixed by the time we got back. The room itself is quite small but that is the norm for Paris, but it was comfortable for what it was. But this is Paris and you don't spend your time in the hotel when in Paris so for us it was the perfect place to lay our weary heads at night.

« First time in Paris »

Location was very good as it is about 30min walk to Eiffel Tower. Staff were fantastic and assisted with booking issues. Breakfast was good! Plenty of restaurants in close proximity & found Le Royal Cambronne up the road was one of the best.

« Nice friendly and helpful staff. »

Great hotel friendly staff.Polite and hospitable.Air conditioned rooms really appreciated. Good access to Metro just 2 minute walk to Cambronne. Heaps of options for eating in or out. Continental breakfast in hotel 13 euro or express 6 euro. Good access to Eiffel tower by metro or walking if you have time/ energy. Little complication with room on arrival ( terrible odour) but they moved us quickly. Local shops open long hours , groceries round corner open 24 hr. Fruit shop and patisserie just across road.

    « Wonderful little gem »

Had a romantic weekend for our Silver Anniversary here. Lovely little hotel which has everything you need. Very inexpensive which only cost us £170 for 2 nights during the euro football competition. The hotel is literally a 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower or a couple of stops on the metro. Looking to book again for December to see the Christmas lights and so forth. Very clean and tidy and the staff were very very friendly. The rooms are not huge but just right for what we needed and it was also nice to be able to open the windows fully as it was quite warm and the Paris breeze was wonderful.

    « Mid-level accomodations in Paris »

Easter week, 2016. We had 2 rooms, one of which was the top floor (we think it was a remodeled apartment as the toilet, bathtub and shower were all in different rooms). The top floor suite includes a dining table and sitting room with nice rooftop views. Could see Eiffel Tower from staircase window between floors. Drawbacks - about 4 block walk to the Metro, then many stairs in station. After a full day of sight-seeing this was too far to have to walk back. Night staff did not speak English well and seemed a little impatient with my limited French. Pluses - day staff terrific! Great restaurants in neighborhood including two wonderful bakeries right across the street. Once we decided to take taxis instead of the Metro, the location was fine. It was less than 20 Euro to get anywhere in the city from this location.

    « Price or Place? »

My friends were recommended this hotel because it is economy priced and was told centrally located (about a 20 min walk from the Eiffel Tower). The room was clean nothing fancy, the double bed was comfy, the body wash was not a cheapy diluted one. They did have face towels with the bath sized towels. They didn't have an ice machine which appears not to be popular at this & the other budget place I stayed in Europe. I constantly asked for ice at the front desk daily which one of the clerks appeared to get disturbed in getting & would put in a small cereal bowl. The elevator was so tiny 3 medium build persons with luggage could barely fit. The surrounding area (the street the hotel was on) was sort of drabby looking. The major problem the room door did not scan my key card several times when I returned I had to go up & down from the room to the front desk to address it which was aggravating. It got to the point they had to take a tool to the door & drill something. My phone didn't work over there & when I asked the front desk if they could make a local call for me the clerk showed resistance.

« They screwed up big time »

We were looking forward to our stay here but were disappointed to find out they had overbooked the hotel. After a long flight from Portland to Amsterdam, then on to Paris, we were very tired and eagerly ready for a shower and some rest. When we got here, we were told that someone had messed up our reservation and would we mind staying at a hotel around the corner. It was about 3 pm so we didn't have much choice and said ok. The other place was pretty trashy and the room was kind of smelly but we had to go with it. If the original hotel would have notified us earlier perhaps we could have done something about it. We were very disappointed in the Best Western.

« Good base to explore Paris for the price »

We stayed here in February 2016 travelling as a couple. Travelling on a budget Hotel Eiffel was the cheapest hotel not too far out of the way and for the money was a great find. After getting dropped off at Porte Maillot from the airport the hotel is about a 30 minute walk. When visiting a city I rarely use public transport as I get to see more of the city by walking. It is about 25 minutes to the Eiffel Tower which at night was a pleasant walk. About 20 minutes to the War Museum, about a 50 minute walk to the Louvre, 30 minute walk to the arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees. For the people who don't like walking there is a Metro station very close to the hotel so you're never too far away from wherever you want to be! For the hotel itself it is down a quiet side street off the beaten track but easy enough to find. The staff are friendly and polite although when I was checking in they couldn't find my booking even though I produced a print out of it. In the end they gave me us room for our two night stay. The room is very basic but clean and with a TV and decent shower. But again, just what we needed. There is a small bar and eating area in the hotel which we didn't use. The only issue I had was about 1am somewhere unlocked the door and came into our room, after jumping out of bed to confront them a poor man had been given our room which was obviously due to my check in confusion earlier that day :-) All in all a great trip and good hotel and I would stay here again to enjoy the delights of Paris.

« Nice little hotel, located near a metro station »

This small hotel was clean, cozy and especially central to the subway. We spent about 3-4 minutes to walk to the Metro, and with the great system they have in Paris we came us everywhere with this as a starting point. The hotel staff was very helpful and speaks good English, which is a big plus when the French vocabulary extends to good day and good evening. Aircondition worked well and cooled down the room for comfortable sleeping temperature. We did not try the breakfast at the hotel because we were eager to try out French specialties out in the city. But from what we could see there was a little cozy back garden which was the breakfast room, and I guess the food tastes delicious. The elevator in the hotel is very small, barely room for two people and a suitcase, but with only 4-5 storeys it meant not for us. Do not know if it is a typical hotel for families with children and prams, but for us as a couple, this was top notch :)

    « A comfy stay in a cold paris »

Stayed here for 03 nights with my 5 year old daughter. Great location and good hotel. Nice comfy and cosy rooms with the warmth that was much needed to save us from the paris cold !!! Helpful staff and perfect location with eiffel tower 1.5 kilometer and metro station 400 metres away. Overall a happy stay.

« Small rooms with no air conditioning »

The hotel is not really in an interesting part of Paris for sightseeing, but is only a five-minute walk from the Cambronne metro station. The rooms are small, which was fine as we weren't spending much time in the room anyway. However, the air conditioner in the room would turn off randomly and didn't seem to be blowing cold air anyway. There was a radiator in the bathroom that couldn't be turned off and made the entire room hot, and opening the window hardly helped. Breakfast at the hotel was an outrageous price (13 euros per person I think) but there was a good spot nearby down the street.

    « Family Vacation »

Nice hotel. Only one person at a time on the elevator. Winding staircase, too cumbersome to lug luggage up. Get street view room - nicer. I have inside room and not a good view with a noisy A/C by my room. Rooms were clean and overall would stay here again. Close to subway, restaurants and only 15 minute walk to Eiffel Tower.

    « New year 2016! :) »

The hotel was okay for the price. Paris is a very expensive city and I think we got a good rate via hotels.com. Location: Walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and train stations. Some restaurants nearby. Rooms: Clean rooms. Good bed. Not so large rooms which is the usual in Europe. Bathroom was clean. We got a room facing the street so you can hear vehicles outside but it didn't bother us so much. I guess we were so tired walking the whole day. Staff: Was okay but not so friendly. I would like to think they can't speak English well. One night we asked for ice and this guy on the reception was making faces at us. So that's why I gave only an average rating. Also they only have a small lift that can only fit 3 people and 1 suitcase. But not a big deal.

« Good location, mostly good accomodations »

The hotel is in a great location. Unfortunately, the busy street outside is very loud and temperature control was difficult in the room. The piping in the bathroom (unable to be regulated) was exceptionally hot--we kept the bathroom door closed to help keep the temperature down. The AC was inoperable and we couldn't open the window due to the noise. It was a good value hotel but sleeping was sometimes difficult.

    4
    « Very nice »

No other customers at the reception and I got an very warm welcome from the lady at the reception with a little bit of a chat about Paris, hotels and breakfast. The room is small but a step up from the usual Ibis micro-rooms and it still very close to my place of business - a definite plus, and I got a room with a balcony - another plus. The price, for Paris also extremely good. The breakfast is in a relatively small room but with lots of light. The choice is limited but good. I will return

    « Customer Service. »

After an issue while staying at this hotel in April with students that was out of the control of the management as there was a conference for the usual hotel staff elsewhere in Europe, the hotel management was incredibly kind to make up for any problems! The customer service was fantastic! Management was very generous and kind. Would stay again! Rooms were clean, location was close to metro!

« Nice hotel near Eiffel Tower »

The rooms are small but just enough to give you a comfortable stay in the beautiful Paris. It's about 20 minutes walk to Eiffel tower. The receptionists are friendly and helpful. Their elevator is small and accommodates only two person at a time and so you need to take the stairs. The Wi-Fi is working good. We needed an air con during our stay but it wont give enough cool temperature so we ended up just leaving the windows open to let the cool early autumn breeze to our room. They have the basic amenities including a safe. For a traveler who just want to a room for the night and explore Paris during the day this hotel is just right. There are also good restaurants in the area, some of them are even award winning from Trip Advisor. Hopefully after good reviews about their hotel they will not increase their rate just like the other hotels who after getting good reviews from their guests increases their rate.

    3
« Good location if you get a good rate »

The room was adequate, but it was facing the main road (rue de la Croix Nivert) at the front. Ask for a room away from the road if you don't like noise. Another bad point was that someone had been smoking in that room earlier, so the smell was bad. The lift is not easy to get at busy times, so will advise to get a lower floor so you can use the stairs. Breakfast was adequate, although far from very good. Not good if you like a full english, OK for continental (but it is in France, so no complaints!). The internet was a bit poor at times, but always worked.

    « Great Location , Lovely Hotel »

Stayed here for 2 nights , location is very central . 15/20 mins of a walk to the Eiffle Tower & 30/40 mins to the Champs Élysées Would stay in this hotel again . Room was lovely , bed was extremely comfortable & had a great nights sleep after all the walking around Paris ! Good selection of nice places to eat and drink within a 5 minute walk of the Hotel . Staff were very friendly and very helpful .

    « Great! »

Had a great experience here the last week! Reading other reviews, let me point out a few things first. This is PARIS. If you want sprawling spacious rooms, be prepared to spend A LOT of money. If you want to travel and use your room as a place to sleep/relax, this is a great fit. There was Coffee/Tea makers in the room despite what one reviewer stated. Maybe his was broken. Either way, again, you're in PARIS. Get out and grab an espresso or coffee from one of the multiple restaurants/cafe's in the neighborhood, whyyyy have room coffee?? The bathroom and showers were a perfect fit...if you were into showering with multiple people I can see how its not your thing, but thats none of my business. A/C...well we were there in perfect weather and slept with the windows open so I dont really have an opinion on that. Also, if you ask really nicely try to get a room on the 6th floor. We had a full size walk out balcony (WOW) with views down Croix Nivert all the wall to Invalides. The lift is in fact small, but once again, this isnt the Ritz. Accept the fact that this place is a small boutique hotel in the 15th, far from the glitz and glamor of Champs Elysees. Use the room to sleep and rest up, you are in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, so get out and enjoy Paris! The employees were so wonderful. The Madame in the mornings, the Afternoon and the late night gentlemen were helpful and very kind. They answered all the questions we had and every morning we were greeted with a sincere and warm Bonjour. If you don't have travel arrangements back to CDG at the end of your stay, ask them to book you the "start" shuttle. The driver was early, polite, and accomodating. Last but not least, the boulangerie across the street...Moulin Croix Nivert. Oh. My. God. Eat everything.

« Good location, small room »

We stayed at this Best Western for three nights while attending an England rugby match at the Stade de France. The hotel is located in Cambronne, a short walk from the metro station. It is about 20 minutes' walk from the Eiffel Tower. It was a good location for exploring the city, as everything is easy to access by metro. The night bus also stops near Cambronne station, meaning you could stay out late and not need a taxi. The hotel is quite old, and could do with some modernisation. There was a small lift, which could only really fit a couple of people and was a struggle with luggage. Our room was small, and faced the main road. The bathroom was an OK size, although the shower cubicle was small. The room had air conditioning, which we needed to have on during the Paris heatwave, but it was very noisy, so sleeping was a trade-off between comfort and noise. The breakfast was included in our room rate, and was quite nice. Usual continental items, plus warm scrabbled egg and sausages. If you want a modern hotel with lots of space, this won't suit. But if you want something inexpensive in a reasonable neighbourhood, this Best Western is fine.

    3
    « Good Location »

Good location - 10 mins walk to the Eiffel Tower. Rooms are a bit dated and could do with a lick of paint and a carpet clean. The bathroom was a little grubby in places. Shower was fab. The mattress in room 604 needs replacing and there were no Coffee/Tea making facilities. Drop baggage off at hotel before taking car to the car park as is hard work with bags

    4
« Good Location & money but not the room size »

Though the room size of Hotels in Europe are small, this one was the smallest of our entire trip. The services were wonderful, staff was good, We even could see Eiffel from our room on 3rd Floor. Reach of the hotel is very good you can walk to Eiffel in 10 min, metro station is 4min distance , right opposite to the hotel is a wonderful bakery for breakfast and it opens at 6 am so for early starters its a good option. They even have local cafe's on the main street in case you want something solid. Overall only the size of the room was a concern rest all amazing.

    « Nice Location »

Awesome location, parking garage just around the corner, nice rates perfect for the room, wifi is free always a plus, only a 10 maybe 15 min walk to the Eiffel Tower, Staff is excellent, about to go enjoy breakfast now for only 13€, can't say enough about this place I rarely leave feedback this place deserves more that 5 thanks again

    « Good location »

Nice hotel, room was small but clean and tidy. Lift to the room is very small especially when trying to fit in suitcases!! All the staff we spoke to were helpful. Excellent location, approx 5 minute walk to metro station. There are a couple of nice restaurants near by and a lovely bakery across the road from hotel.

    3
« Safe average hotel in Paris »

Average hotel close to the metro. In a safe area with a Great bakery across the road. The nice young man who checked us in was lovely but older man working the night shift was so rude! The reception closes over night and we had to deal with waking him up with the door bell every single time we came back to the room. Not fun. If staying in Paris again I would prefer staying somewhere more central and accessible by foot as well as somewhere luxurious but I recommend this hotel if you're just looking for a reasonably priced hotel close to a metro station.

    5
    « Superb!! »

I had an excellent stay in a wonderful Best Western Hotel, so very near to everywhere that I needed to visit - the Eiffel Tower and the Trocadero. The staff were so very friendly, and went out of their way to make me feel welcome.

    2
    « Not paradise »

The hotel is situated within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower and local cafe's, trains, restaurants and bars all in walking distance. Very accessible to everywhere. The hotel itself was not very pleasant. The room was very noisy even with the window closed, then the temperature on the air conditioning could not be changed. Room was very warm and stuffy, opening the window introduced street noise of traffic and people making it difficult to sleep no matter what. The TV only had 1 English station and the rest were all French, which wasn't very good and made using the hotel room as a rest spot during the day impossible. The room was very small and only enough closet space for 1 person. There was no iron, no ironing board in the room. There was a hairdryer but it wasn't a good hairdryer. The shower was good, and the bathroom a good size. However, it was a sliding door that was only attached at the top of the frame, meaning that the bottom of the door flapped while using the shower. There was no lock on the bathroom door. The room was small meaning you could not walk by each other in the room. If sleep is NOT important to you then this hotel is for you. On checking out the receptionist appeared uninterested in us departing, simple requests like checking if the shuttle bus was arriving on time, or to store our bags until the bus arrived appeared to be a daunting challenge for the young man.

    « Outstanding Employees »

This hotel is clean, comfortable, and convenient to the Metro. Our room had a spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower. However, the employees are what make this hotel exemplar. Their knowledge of the city, English language, and all things Paris ensured that our stay was excellent. We highly recommend this hotel!

« Best Western Cambronne Eiffel »

Excellent facility; close to metro; walking distance to several museums. Great staff. Good places to eat nearby. Clean but bed was somewhat uncomfortable. Little noise. Friendly and helpful staff. We would stay here again if returning to Paris. Nearest metro is out of order so some walking was required to get to another metro in the area.

    « no a/c »

never really worked, even after they fixed it. this hotel is worth about 50 euros a night. it has very small rooms, but i expected that..no prob..we paid 500 euros for 3 nights..a very poor value for the money. we felt like we were ripped off, the city was very booked and this was a last minute res. i travel all over the world.i am former airline i have stayed at the best and the no so good, this is at the bottom of the list
