Located in the heart of a typically Parisian area such as La Butte aux Cailles or le Quartier Latin, the BEST WESTERN Amiral Hotel is a new property built in 2006 in a style with charm, tradition and elegance. As we care about details and well-being, we gave a special atmosphere to each room of the property. Most of them open out to nature through a small winter garden and flowered terraces. Thanks to its unique setting and our attentive staff, the BEST WESTERN Amiral Hotel is a charming and luxurious place where it is a real pleasure to meet. We offer 48 rooms and one suite with a private balcony and a unique view on the roofs of Paris. All rooms are equipped with modern services (air-conditioning, LCD cable television, radio, free WiFi access, bathrobe, mini-bar, safe. . . ). Of course, you have access to all other activities provided by the BEST WESTERN Amiral Hotel, indoor heated swimming pool, exercise room, and a business center including computer, printer, fax, and copy machine.

I just recently stayed in above hotel during a 4 day break to Paris , this hotel had the added bonus of a swimming pool , which we took full advantage of and used every day bar one ! The hotel was ideally placed for use of metro system which we used every day and was a 10 minute walk to the place d'italie where there were plenty of restaurants and a fab shopping centre (which had Zara Sephora etc in ) also was a few good supermarkets nearby . As for the hotel most of the staff were courteous and the rooms were clean and our beds were made and clean towels provided each day during our stay , the rooms were a little small considering its 4 star rating , was a lack of plugs in room , the safe didn't work properly but was able to use safe in my sisters room , also bit noisy due to traffic but we had air conditioning so could close window at night and be cool ! My downside was the safe , the shower leaked and the bath taps were wobbly and was damp above the bath on ceiling ! Also I didn't like that you had to enter one door into a small lobby before you then opened your own hotel room door ! Bit strange ! Whilst we enjoyed our stay very much I don't think this hotel is 4 star but rather a good 3 star ! A few little tweaks here and there needed but on whole a nice little base for our stay though , I would prefer to stay nearer to central Paris next time I visit

    « Average hotel »

Stayed at this hotel for one night on the way to Spain. It was ok for a passing visit, glad I Wasn't staying longer. Entrance was beautiful. Room was small but clean. A small balcony outside. Towels were very used and worn. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. The Eiffel Tower was only 20€ in a taxi. Wifi free. Staff on reception very helpful.

    « Euro 16 »

Booked 2 twin rooms for a few days of Euro'16. Has a good location beside Tolbiac metro stop. Rooms are normal. Pool is a plus especially for Paris hotels. Lots of restaurants and shops in a short distance including one huge shopping mall at Porte D'talie. There is a cake/bread shop next door from which we got or morning croissants and prices are normal in this area. The Glebe bar/restaurant was good with Amstel @ €3.50 a pint(yes in Paris). Would go there again for value and location.

    « A long weekend »

Overall, the hotel was OK. The bed was comfortable and our room had a balcony, and the swimming pool , although cold, added a bit of luxury. Free wifi came in handy too. Breakfast was not great, often ran out of food. We had to pay extra for parking which increased our hotel expenses a great deal but the location was convenient as it was close to a metro.

« Great clean friendly place »

We had a great stay at this small but clean friendly hotel with a lovely pool and very good choice breakfast . The room had everything in you need and was fresh . The pool was a real gem as we both love swimming was a good way to start a day . It close the the metro Highly recommended.

« nice for short trip to Paris »

We booked 2 nights at the last minute. Nice welcome. Parking space if you reserve it (be carefull with big cars, small entry). Nice room on street side. As the safe didn't work we got an upgrade to the backside with balcony. Quiet and nice view. Rooms are not spacious but you are in Paris. Room was clean, we had bathrobe and slippers to go to the pool. 2nd day no towels at the pool but reception gave us some. We asked for a nice restaurant (near the chinese area) and went to a superb Cambodian restaurant Mondol Kiri. Enjoyed the location (near metro) pool, staff, ..

Fine service when er arrive, er Got a ROM on the 7 floor and could see a lot OFF Paris and also the Eiffel tower. The bath room is a bit use but the rest off the hotel Arne fine and there lies shops and food court nearby and 2 minuts from the metro. We havne try the pool. So if you would Like to live locally this is the place to Be.

    « A mediocre experience »

The swimming pool is a saving grace. That this is an hotel in Paris could not be guessed from staying in it, the staff consists entirely of non-French persons, with an imperfect command of the language. My stay was not improved by the presence of a large group of tourists from Ta¨wan, extremely vulgar and loud.

    « Verry bad housekeeping »

The position is ok, the size of the rooms is only in Paris 4**** and the housekeeping is a catastrophy. We put the sign "please clean the room" at 10:00 AM, coming back at 2:00 PM and the room was not done. This we told at reception, went out again and came back 30 minutes later. The room was still not made. After another 15 minutes some unmotivated cleanung personell moved through the lobby direction our room...This is very bad service. The breakfast for 15 EUR is overprized and the coffee awful. When we checked in at 2:00 PM some days ago, other guests were waiting for their rooms! Granted check-in time is 2:00 PM. Bad, bad service and management!

« Possibility For Morning Swim Is Awesome »

Stayed at the hotel for one night during a weekend layover. The location is pretty good. The hotel has lots of services near by (a bakery next door for breakfast, lots of restaurants) and it is well connected even if it seems it's a bit to the side. The service was friendly, though a few of the people I saw working the front desk didn't understand English terribly well. I stayed in a business room facing the street, but there wasn't that much noise, though I'm used to sleeping on a busy street, so your experience might vary. The room was great, though I failed to figure out how to get the bath tub to drain properly during a shower. The swimming pool was nice, the temperature was great for a morning swim. A changing area downstairs or some slippers in the room would be nice, so I suggest bringing your own slippers to avoid having to walk barefoot or in your outdoor shoes. Only other service I used was the free WiFi, which was sad. Even something simple like using Facebook messenger kept disconnecting all the time and messages took forever to be passed around. Might be better in other rooms. Overall, a decent hotel suitable for a layover. For a longer visit, I'd probably choose something more central.

    « appropiate location »

convenient and good location, with excellent wi fi, breakfast starts at 11, hostess will not speak a lot, poor english speaker, not to ask for spanish, didn't get the chance to see the pool, but apparently it was working.

« Great hotel for family trip to Paris »

The hotel is located a few steps from the subway that takes you directly to the historic centre of Paris. Parking is available on request and after reservation. The heated indoor pool is great for the kids after a day in Paris. China town (the biggest in Europe) is within walking distance and great for dinner. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

« Extremely friendly staff, nice rooms and the most amazing pool! »

This hotel is out of the way, but it is incredibly well connected, only a few stops from the centre of Paris. It is also in an area that has lovely bistros and bars on one side and sort of China town on another - great food! The staff were all very helpful lending me an adapter and giving me lots of information. My room was quiet, clean, well stocked and had a balcony and lovely new bathroom, the Nelson room i think. The decor was average but the bathroom was new and very nice. The breakfast buffet was very varied and excellent, however they didn't seem to do food in the evenings when i asked. The main thing though is the pool, it is more like a spa pool than a hotel pool, it was fantastic, and they offer you slippers and robes to use making it even more comfortable and relaxing.

The worst hotel experience ever. The air conditioner of the room was out of order and it was fixed the next day, so we stayed in the room awaked almost the hole night due to elevated temperature of the room. The soiled towels were folded and given as clean one although the remarkable evidences of they were used and dirty. It happened several times. We asked for more towels because they only gave two middle size towels but never our claims were satisfied. We solved the problem buying towel in the nearby store. The hotel did not gave back to my account the 100 euros deposit which it must be done during the next 10 days of the check out, I am still waiting.

    « Nice Hotel near Place d'Italie »

As I have been attending a meeting at the near by ParisTech, therefore this hotel was a fine choice. The room is nice, clean, silent and with working a/c. The swimming pool er fine, as well as the breakfast buffet, and the staff are all English speaking.

    « Paris visit »

We stayed here for 4 nights, arriving on the Wednesday and leaving on the Sunday. It was just me and my partner, We have just got back tonight. We booked this hotel as it looked nice inside and out, we were not disappointed. The staff are friendly and helpful and speak good English. The hotel is in a fairly good part of Paris with a lot of cafes, restaurants and shops to visit. On the corner of the block is a fab cafe called 'cafe canon'. There is a metro station called 'Tolbiac'just a 2 in walk. The main station (place d'italie) to all parts of Paris is just 5 mins walk. The rooms are of a decent good standard, maybe a bit small. It has a tv, mini fridge, shower and we had a balcony with great views. They safely lock your luggage away if you leave late on in the day which is a bonus as it meant we didn't have to lug it round all day. The pool is nice and was generally quiet. The only down side was there are no changing rooms downstairs, you have to go down to the pool and back to your room in a robe they supply. Gets a little slippery on the floors and in the lift. The hotel is ideal for individuals, couples and families. All in all it was a great break and would definitely stay there again. Just beware on the hundreds of beggers and cons you will come across throughout Paris, especially by Gare du nord station. They even bother you when your eating at places with open plan fronts.

« do not book business stay here -> no flexibility to change/cancel !!! »

Very inflexible, did not allow us to change the date of the reservation even for a fee. Had to pay for 2 expensive nights not being able to use it. Therefore made reservations at a different hotel for our stay on the new travel date. My colleague had the same experience last year after having to cancel after an accident, so not an incident! In twenty years of business travel, never encountered anything like this.

    « Below standard expected for a 4-star hotel »

Stayed for one night during a business trip in June. It was okay but I've stayed in 3-star and even some 2-star hotels that were better. Good points: - Staff efficient and spoke English. - Room clean and air conditioning worked well. - Wi-fi free, fast and allowed VPN connection. Bad points: - Sleep interrupted frequently by traffic noise at night. - Desk small and no free power socket nearby. - Elevator unreliable - had to use fire escape stairwell more often than not.

i spent one week in this superb hotel,i was in last years in many hotels in paris in middle class range,i searched one with swimming pool to relax after work, and with normal buffet breakfast, not this one, typical for Paris,2 slices of bread, one jam,one croissant, and coffee, and i found this hotel.absolutely excellent, with terrace to sit and drink and look over Paris, very pleasant atmosphere and personel,i wouldnt believe that i am in parisien hotel.Rooms are big,all you need inside, outside, the last phrase:absolutely the best best western in Paris.

    « Very good »

The Amiral is a very good place tot stay when you travel to Paris. We booked the suite, because I need a wheelchair when my Parkinson makes it difficult tot move around. Service was excellent, the rooms werd tidy, the swimming pool is adequate for some excersise. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel and instead went next door to a fine bakery. Also, there is a Monoprix very close for all your other breakfast needs. The breakfast buffet at the hotel looked absolutely scrumptious, however. If you like to feast on fruits, cereals, Maple syrup and sweets in the morning, you could do a LOT worse than the Amiral. The location of the hotel is excellent. Chinatown is across the street, you can get anywhere very fast, either with the metro or your own car. There is a parking spot for the handicapped a few steps down the street, we were able to park there for 3 days. Remember to move tour car for the sunday morning market on the Avenue d'Italie!

« Best Western Amiral Hotel »

Disappointed. Air conditioining not working in room . Shower door absent. Room cramped and bathroom very small. Pool was welcome but in changing rooms hair dryer did not work. Tea making faciltities only came with one milk cartoon so limited to one drink per person per day. Breakfast expensive but with a good choice of foods.
