Best Western Plus Boardman Inn & Suites

This was an unexpected pleasant experience from the greeting at the front desk to the care she took in ensuring our room was exactly right for our needs (high floor, queen beds, mobility assisted and shower seat). The hotel is bright and clean, the bathroom was roomy and well appointed with towels and toiletries. The beds were comfortable and the only minor complaint was the pillows were a little lumpy. The breakfast was adequate . We would highly recommend a stay here.

I am writing to formally complain about my recent stay at the Best Western Plus Boardman Inn & Suites from 1/24/2024 to 1/25/2024, booked through Priceline under Unfortunately, my experience was unsatisfactory due to literally calling ahead to verify the hot tub was operational. I was going to go to the Boardman Holiday Inn and called prior to be told theirs was broken and waiting on a part to repair. I called the Best Western Plus and SPECIFICALLY asked is your pool and hot tub there, open, and working. We went down after booking solely for the purpose of the hot tub to find the jets did not work, the water to be dirty and luke warm, and further a alarm that would not stop beeping in the pool room. I went and spoke to the front desk to complain and was told she didn't realize the jets were supposed to make bubbles, “I thought it was just a hot pool and the jets never really moved anything before,” I was stunned. I voiced a complaint to her which basically she said she couldn't do anything and didn't know this was unusual. After 108.00 dollars for a hot tub after calling I was disgusted to be honest. I made sure to take a video of the hot tub with the “jets button having been pressed, showcasing this lack of operation.” Further the website for the specific hotel boasts a bar in the facility which we also came to find out was utter inaccurate as well. Furthermore, I called the hotel this morning to be told because there was red makeup on a towel, my eyeshadow we were charged an extra 15.00. 15.00, for a SINGLE WASHCLOTH - So now essentially if you a female on your period at this hotel you will be charged if you leave a red stain. I called corporate to complaint to be told they send the issue straight to the hotel and that corporate would not do a thing and to me this is asinine. I was given a ticket number by corporate with no remorse. Instead, a statement because I used the amenities, we agreed to the terms and lies, and we could have checked out at any time however we still would have been charged either way. This is criminal and there needs to be some accountability. Also, the window in our room was broken and taped to which my husband also got a photo of as well!

Clean, spacious rooms with good water pressure in the showers. Desk help eager to assist. Breakfast foods were plentiful and warm, carbohydrate packed. NOT A FRUIT in sight. There are youth teams that fill these rooms on weekends but they quieted down after 10:30 pm .

Friendly staff went above and beyond to help us out. Breakfast was great and hotel was located near many amenities. Price was surprisingly good as well. Celan and modern hotel. I will definitely stay here again.

I've stayed twice at this location for business. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast very accommodating for all diets. Great location among area restaurants and shopping. Looking forward to my next visit with Best Western Plus!

Very clean , quiet on second floor . Breakfast good . Eggs were “ real eggs” & remained hot in serving dish . Only negative - bedskirts fit poorly . Easy to trip over . Do not need those ! Staff very nice .

We have stayed here many times when we are in town to visit family and it never disappoints. It is clean, friendly and the breakfast in the morning is the best hotel breakfast we have ever had!!!!! We will be back next year.

This hotel believes in customer service—old school place. Their front desk is great. The breakfast was very complete and they even had a white board to let the customers know what was offered-sometimes things are missed and this helps.

Clean hotel with a friendly staff on a quiet street. Rooms are well maintained with plenty of room. A variety of goodies served for breakfast. Close to restaurants and shopping stores for necessities.

Wonderful !!! Gals at the front desk, Allie & Lisa were welcoming, friendly, efficient. Everything was simply perfect. King suite kitchenette was spacious & spotless. Apartment size fridge, micro, in-room Keurig, granite counters. Bathroom was immaculate w/generous supply of bright white towels. Free wifi w/ample signal. Slept well on super comfortable bed with nice linens & fat, fluffy pillows. Lots of easily accessible outlets for charging electronics. Odd that there wasn't a digital clock but I was able to see the clock on the microwave which helped at night. Next morning I was able to print off some important paperwork in the Business Center. Didn't partake of the continental but it looked enticing & was well tended. Left out feeling rested & refreshed. Highly recommend & look forward to staying here again.

This property is quite clean and comfortable. It is located in a little loop of hotel, restaurant and office buildings, well-insulated from highway noise and traffic. Convenient and easy access to the interstate and local main roads. Many restaurants grocery stores and shopping centers nearby. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hot breakfast is a plus. Offers a courtesy computer workspace, work out room and pool. We were so pleased with our initial stay we stopped here again!

This hotel is a great place to stay when in the Boardman/Youngstown area. Very clean, attentive staff, friendly staff, great service, comfortable bed! The Pool was welcoming and clean. I was not able to do the Breakfast, but I am sure it was also great!

I had a great time with my wife at your hotel. The bed was comfy. We got amazing sleep and had peace and quiet while we stayed. The staff was very helpful and tentative to our needs. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The best staff ever. They went above and beyond. I was high as heck and wanted the ramen noodles that were available at the front desk. The guy there went out of his way to get me a fork so i can enjoy my late night shame meal. Greatest hotel I've ever stayed at, the girl at the front, when we checked in was super friendly as well. This is an experience that most people will not get to experience in the years that are coming.

Cleanliness, helpful staff, amenities, well lit hallways and parking. Only reason I gave it 4 stars because of unsecured door at rear of building and dark stairwell (dark carpet). Other than that, it was a great location and clean rooms.

This was one of the cleanest hotels we've stayed at over the last couple of years. The staff is over-the-top friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, all the food was kept full and hot and the breakfast area and tables were kept clean. Overall very satisfied with our stay.

This is one of the cleanest Best westerns we have ever stayed at. Rooms were spotless and smelled clean. Lots of room, comfortable beds with a big bathroom. Full hotel breakfast along with a decent sized heated indoor poor and hot tub.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the bed was super comfortable. There was decent water pressure in the shower, and the shower and toilet were separate from the vanity area. A plus when getting dressed. The FREE breakfast was actually pretty good with a nice variety of hot foods along with traditional cereals, yogurt and bagels. For our quick trip this stay was excellent for the price.

We were passing though from Chicago headed to Maryland. Very nice staff, spacious rooms and nice decor. The whole place has a good layout. We had a nice stay. Very good value and convenient. Will make this place a regular stop on our yearly road trip

This is my third year staying at the Boardman OH Best Western over Christmas. It is consistently great. Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice pool/hot tub, hot and tasty breakfast. I highly recommend it. We'll be back again next year.

The bathroom was dirty and I could tell they haven't cleaned the baseboards in months. The sheets did not feel clean and they never provided housekeeping even though we stayed for two nights. They did not make the bed or empty trash or replace towels. I travel to Youngstown frequently and will not stay there again.

I ended up here by accident. The 3 star hotel I intended for my stay had mattresses all over the parking lot. *scary* Best Western was a few lots down. The room was clean. Staff was friendly. A definite cost effective choice. This hotel is close to entertainment and food. I will return.

This hotel could easily be priced 50%+ more than it costs and still be a good deal. Easy 10 minute, $12 Uber ride to downtown Youngstown or Covelli Centre. Incredibly modern and spotless room. I'll be back for sure.

Everything was clean. No issues. Great breakfast. Very reasonable. The woman who was there when we checked in at 8pm was very nice. We were lucky enough to get the last available room. Oh yes-best shower head we had the whole trip.

Don't like that you can only have 2 bath towels if your staying in a room with one king size bed. Asked for at least one extra towel and we were told we would have to turn in our used towels. With that being said, hotel was very clean and in a nice location. Staff was fairly nice. Check out is at noon, that's a plus. Pool was very clean and the spa was in working condition and at a good temperature.

The staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean but the pool and spa tub are in serious need of a makeover. The spa tub did not work. My daughter did not like the bed, said it was too hard, I thought it was ok.

There were lots of choices for restaurants and things to do in Boardman. Met some really nice young couples with children. Everything was so brand new and clean. I'd go back there again. Seemed very family oriented.

Entrances littered with cigarette butts and attitude of staff unhelpful. Room was clean, but there was cryptic maid service. There was a tag to hang on door for maid service, but we were not informed that we needed to throw towels in hall for replacements! Did not figure this out until 3rd night. Made for unsightly mess in hallway. Breakfast bar was acceptable.

Rooms very large , nice and clean . Bathroom very modern . Breakfast served with variety of breakfast products. Very good room service.Keurig coffee machine in room and provided with K-cup pods. Good selection of cable TV channels. Indoor swimming pool and provided clean towels for the pool.

Very clean, the staff is very helpful, comfortable rooms, breakfast is good. We have stayed at this hotel several times over the last 2 years for business and for family events. Sometimes in the summer there are a lot of children, and the staff will address loud or unruly kids.

This hotel is where we stay each time we visit Ohio for business - it is conveniently located, always clean and the managers are always accommodating. They remember us by name so it feels like we are seeing friends! The Internet is reliable and the breakfast is good. We will always stay at this hotel!

Room was visibly dirty, especially the bathroom floor. The handrail was broken, no fan in the bathroom lots of moisture. The shower curtain was dirty. Walls in room had paint scraped off looked shabby color was blue so everywhere it was scraped off there was white splotches. Above the bed was cobwebs hanging from raised ceiling area. We did not use any amenities due to room cleanliness. Figured if our room was dirty, cleanliness wasn't a priority elsewhere.

The towels were dirty and they told me they couldn't give out any additional towels due to “short supply”. We were told to bring our dirty towels down to the lobby to exchange because they don't clean the rooms until checkout due to “COVID”. There are people who take their hygiene very seriously. Also there was a weird odor and the bed was uncomfortable after the first night.

Unbelievable! Allie front desk clerk has a problem with people of color. I stayed here January 23 till the 25 paid with snaptravel. Allie ran my credit card on the 24th for 150 dollars. Reimbursed me for 100 back. Said she was charging me 50 for makeup on a towel. Because of covid they aren't getting supplies? Really Allie that isn't an excuse. My granddaughter heard you talking about people with color!! Please if you don't have an all white party don't stay here!!!

Regardless of Covid, nice pool and hot tub were open indoors, and an excellent continental breakfast was served. We all agreed that the beds were super comfortable, including the quality and feel of the bedding. Two thumbs up...

We have family in the area and have tried many, many hotels over the years. This one wins. Clean, quiet (I did ask to have no one on either side of us on the top floor), and friendly staff. The breakfast was also great in light of covid. The beds were a little soft and squishy but we still slept well. Water pressure in the shower was a bit weak but not terribly bothersome. Will definitely stay again.

They stay was great. It is locayed in a really nice area with alot of stores and restaurants close by. Friendly staff very clean. I would recommend this hotel to others. Will most likely be back in the near future.

I visit NE Ohio twice a year to connect with my family and stay at this hotel. The friendly, welcoming and professional staff at the Best Western Plus in Boardman always make my stay enjoyable and comfortable. The hotel meets my standards for location, cleanliness and safety. I also appreciated the Covid protocols in place.

Very nice hotel. The room was updated, clean, and comfortable. We very much enjoyed the rain shower head. Continental breakfast was better than expected: instant oatmeal, fresh fruit, individual cereal bowls, apple sauce and yogurt cups, and microwaveable breakfast sandwiches. The hotel is convenient to just about everything. There is plenty of shopping and restaurants within a mile, but it's nicely set back off the main road.

A very good place to stay with very nice rooms and all one can expect for accomodation. The service was very nice and the breakfast was very good and rich. The only problem the place has is its location which is out of the city. Its worth to drive out. Recomanded.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at the Best Western Plus in Boardman to visit family and friends in the Youngstown area. We stayed here 5 years ago and enjoyed it so much that we were excited to make our 10 day stay again this year at this Best Western Plus. The hotel is very clean and the staff could not be any nicer. The Manager, Amit remembered us from our stay 5 years ago and he was able to put us in the same room near the laundry room, which I used 3 times during our stay. This was our home away from home!!!!

Traveling across country and needed a place to stay for Saturday overnight. Greeted by nice receptionist who also made dinner suggestion for across the street (greatly appreciated). Found the room comfortable but was awoken in the middle of the night by barking dog across the hall on the first floor. Literally had to call the front desk in middle of the night as it was keeping us up and we had another long day of travel to do. Apparently the dog was only suppose to be on the upper floor for an extended stay family, but they broke rules and had relocated it to another relatives room on lower floor. It barked non-stop and I cannot believe the front desk didn't hear it all evening. It took my call at midnight to address the matter properly. When the Mgr and I spoke days later about incidence he had every excuse lined up basically blaming the extended stay family for breaking the rules and was not foreright with an apology for their lack of control of the situation until the very end. It's for that reason I just cannot give them the best review. Front desk staff great; management not so great.

One of the best mid-range hotels I've stayed at in a while. Everything was new, super clean, and comfy - and felt surprisingly upscale for the price I paid. The service and coffee were great, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower and amenities were excellent.

This hotel never disappoints ! When my travels call for a stay in the Boardman/Canfield area, this is my #1 choice. The spacious rooms are always clean and neat, comfortable beds, thoroughly-scrubbed bathrooms, quiet environment, and the property is situated in an area jam-packed with great restaurants and shopping. Very convenient to highways and interstates. The owner/manager Emmitt and his crew work very hard to keep this hotel in tip-top shape. He and everyone on the staff is friendly and helpful. I always enjoy my stays at the BW+ in Boardman.

This location was one of the cleanest, neatest and well kept Best Western hotels I have ever stayed at. I was unable to find fault with anything. In regard to the COVID procedures, the continental breakfast was very good, and tables were sanitized, immediately when vacated. The pool is by appointment only, but there was sufficient availability. An excellent location!

Staff is very helpful, but I found a pet in one of of the guestrooms when they advertise there are no pets allowed. The breakfast is more than enough, just wish the coffee was available longer hours and water was available at all times.

Overall, a very nice stay. This hotel had very nice rooms. They were clean, spacious, with a fridge, comfortable beds and very nice shower. The swimming pool, though small, was a very nice temperature. Guests needed to sign up to go swimming, to keep the pool from getting crowded. Breakfast was OK – they had a decent selection, but you could only get one of most items.

The hotel is beautiful and the beds are very comfortable even though they are standard rooms they're very nice. The coffee is upgraded which is cool. I called the hotel to make sure the Jacuzzi was working which they informed me it was working fine you just have to set up a time. When I got into the Jacuzzi I couldn't get the Jets to work they said they've been broken for days. When I called the desk a second time I was told they turned it off for Covid. I told him I called and you confirmed with me that the Jacuzzi was working and they said do you have any other questions?. LOL. I'm sure they're going to give a response. If you don't need the Jacuzzi the hotel is a perfect stay for overnight. Very comfortable. Dont trust them on the phone. I could've stayed 30 miles closer to my client but was fooled by them. Could have stayed at a lower price comparable but paid for jacuzzi.

Had an amazing get together with family from various states. This hotel was awesome! Well maintained rooms, quiet except for my group, rooms were very accommodating. The staff was amazing! They met our needs and were very professional! Absolutely enjoyed Best Western Plus Boardman Inn & Suites. Will definitely be staying there again! Yeti

At 3 AM I was harrassed by Police while sleeping because the patrons did not want me to stay there with my baby girl. I called to speak with what was supposed to be the manager. AMIT who says hes the manager but did nothing to help the issue and even took Saturday off with no manager on duty. He couldn't even talk to me because he was at home not even on duty when he was clocked in. very unprofessional and Corperate will hear of his lack of urgency, managerial presenst, and customer servisw skills.

The Good: Was able to call and reserve a 1st floor room in advance. The room was humongous. Appeared to be clean. Good size tv. 3 Epix movie channels. King size bed which was decent in comfort. 4 fluffy pillows. Lots of lamps/lights. Mini fridge and microwave which were both clean. Affordable at only $75 with tax. The So So: Dimly lit bathroom, extremely noisy upstairs, lots of stomping and people running back and forth for hours well after 11pm, some weren't wearing masks inside the halls, table is attached to the dresser so it can't be moved to be able to eat and/or play a game face to face, they hold extra money just in case you mess something up so be careful to have enough funds on your card, bring your own hand soap, shower mat was rolled up next to the shower and wouldn't stick when I tried to apply it, the bath tub stopper wouldn't stay up for my shower so a lot of water accumulated making it tricky to safely step out of the shower, all rooms are non-smoking if you're a smoker, windows won't open which seems like a safety hazard. I would stay here again and plan to soon. The so so's weren't bad enough to not stay here again. Only the excessive noise was the most off putting. It seemed like it was coming from upstairs but 7 hours is a long time to stomp around. Voices didn't travel much though which is a good thing.

I always stay at Best Western hotels. The Best Western in Boardman goes above and beyond for their guests. I recommend this hotel to everyone. The staff is amazing. Sara, Amit, Rob, front desk. and the housekeeping staff is great.

My experience at the hotel was great. The service was excellent. Also the hotel was exceptionally clean. With a great smell. The bed was nice and firm and slept well. I loved the fresh smell that remained. In the hotel.

Check in was pleasant & fast. First impression parking & lobby positive. Room on 2nd floor was clean,comfortable & quiet. Beds out of this world. Bath immaculate. Keurig for coffee. The hard work of staff is evident. As far as covid 19 - all procedures are in place . Bag breakfast available if desired. Plenty of places to eat nearby - we did Bob Evans. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you all for a most pleasant stay.

I chose this hotel based on reviews. Well I did not find the reviews to hold true to form for this hotel. The doors both front and side were littered with cigarette butts, trash, & food people were too lazy to put in a garbage can. The mats on the inside were full of debris. Breakfast in the brown bags amounted to nothing. I know we have a covid disaster but other hotels I stayed at really showed they cared. The room was not clean. The towels were limited. The beds were comfortable but I am glad we carry blankets or we would have been very uncomfortable as it turned cooler and there wasn't enough covers on the beds. We also found the walls to be thin as we could hear neighbors talking and snoring. The room was attractive but that is all I can say for it. I would not stay here again.

We stayed here after a wedding and it was a nice place. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms were clean, staff was very nice. Checkin/out was simple and it was close to everything we needed. Would stay again!

Me, my son and my gf stayed there for the night. Service was horrible. Breakfast was a granola bar, banana, water. We were told that the spa worked but no bubbles or jets. Gave us an excuse that mike dewine doesn't allow it but they are allowed. Found that in my sheets last night come on what does that look like. Hotel smelt like pure booty hole. Pool itself needs to be cleaned out redone. You had to check out a time frame for the pool which is ridiculous considering no one was there. No housekeeping due to covid19 unless you are checking out still the sheets and stuff didn't look like they had been changed never will go here again. A red roof inn for 46 would be better than this dump

This is the second time at this hotel in the past year. Great location, decor and friendly staff. Also the hotel is clean and inviting. We will be staying here again if we are back in the area. Great location as well

Location near to freeway for travel ease, close to Starbucks, restaurants for curbside pick-up, quiet!, clean, Brown bag breakfast, masked front desk and Plexiglass for safety...pool closed until next week...appreciate these precautions!!

This hotel was above and beyond our expectations. The hotel is easy to get to and located in a very safe area and only about 10 minutes from downtown Youngstown. Check in was completed by a very helpful and friendly young man and our room was large, very clean, and so comfortable. Breakfast was well attended with eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, pancakes, waffles, and many other choices. We will certainly choose this hotel again if we are ever in the area.

Had an awesome one night stay with mu husband. We just live nearby but my husband just wants to get away and take a dip in sauna,so we booked a room for a night. The frontdesk personnel were both great. The room is clean and well maintained. Perfectly situated in the heart of the town with lots of nearby restaurants. We had our dinner at Olive Garden which is less than 5 minutes away ( I would recommend to make a reservation at Olive Garden as they are always packed). I love the breakfast menu with the great price of course. We will be back for sure.

This is the fourth year we've stayed during this calendar weekend (have to come to ohio from PA for a dance "thing" for my daughters). Always a courteous front desk and clean room! My kids love the breakfast and pool. I love the price!

This is my third visit to this property, and I will be back. The location is close to everything I needed, and the property is beautiful. I can't say enough about the staff. I've always felt so welcome and appreciated when I visit, and they always go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. The breakfast is excellent also, with a large variety of items (can we say "waffle machine?"). If your travels take you in that direction, I highly recommend this hotel. As an aside, I had Sunday off, and, when I learned that this hotel is only a 2-hour drive to Punxatawny, PA, I got to go there for Groundhog Day! That was a fun day.

I always have a good, clean, comfortable experience at this hotel. The staff is extremely attentive and accommodating, which I appreciate as someone with a disability who travels for business. I have been staying here since it first opened and will continue to do so.

Always great stay , awesome breakfast, great employee, clean rooms , Air conditioner works great ,A lot of TV channels . Great pool and hot tub, staff is very friendly and plenty of parking spaces in parking lot.

We just stayed for one night on our way for rest. Our son has an arthritis and his leg flared up on our way to Hotel in car, and we requested to give us a room closest to the lobby so he dont have to walk much. Amit and Courtney were kind enough to assign room closest to lobby as well as the parking. Excellent clean and large room with lots of eating place within 0.2 miles and easy on/off from the highway. Breakfast was little disappointing with frozen bagels, but not much different than other hotels in same budget. Overall I would recommend this hotel to every one with family.

After spending a wonderful birthday evening on the town, relaxation was what we desired most of this mini trip. The paper thin walls and inconsiderate loud guests kept that from happening. I'm not one to complain; however, this matter required attention. So after 5 separate attempts asking front desk to intervene to control the noise, asking for late checkout, asking for a room change twice, then finally checking out at 7:00 am, "Best Western" did absolutely nothing to ensure our comfort or address our concerns. I understand the hotel can not control the noise created by hotel guests, but I can not justify paying for a room that could not be utilized for it's intended purpose. My advise, if you dont mind the lack of sound proofing, rude personal, being ignored when expressing concern, and not being able to sleep due to noise, this hotel is for you. For everyone that values their own time and money, I strongly suggest seeking an alternate option. Also, the breakfast was terrible. No refund was issued, we were forced to check out and drive home over 2 hours on no sleep. My 2 loud barking dogs will be a sweet relief compared to the noise that echoed and shook our hotel room walls.

The staff at this location is very friendly and helpful. The manager was especially personable and we had many pleasant conversations on various subjects. The rooms are large, comfortable and quiet. Bed was very comfortable. Facility is very clean. There are numerous eating establishments and shopping nearby. The is a laundry room available. Complementary breakfast.

I stay at the Best Western in Boardman Ohio 3-4 times a year for a week at a time. Each time the staff remembers me and makes me feel so welcome. The rooms are always clean and overall the hotel is quiet. I have only had one problem of noise in the past 3 years and they were quick to accommodate me and move me to another part of the hotel. I will continue to stay here every time I visit.

Great place to stay in this area. The rooms are welcoming and comfortable. The gathering spaces are wonderful for friends and family to meet. My family loves this place and we all stay here when visiting my mother.

Really nice hotel in close proximity to the YSU campus. Very easy access. Free parking. Super friendly staff. Breakfast was great. There is a wonderful restaurant (Springfield Grille) located just across the parking lot.

Fabulous, this is a wonderful hotel, the rooms were spacious and comfortable and spotless, the breakfast was very good and plenty of seating for eating, the internet was very good and the tv channels were abundant

Stayed at the Best Western Plus Boardman for business meetings. Was extremely satisfied with the overall experience of the property for a convenient and comfortable stay for the meetings. Was close to several dining options. The property was chosen for location to where I needed to be, and the only downside was there were no worthwhile attractions close to enjoy during down time.

This hotel is wonderful. The rooms are spacious. It has everything you need. Refrig, microwave, nice decor, clean, quiet, and the heat/ac was perfect. Lobby coffee there all the time and the breakfast was hot and had everything you could ask for!! Highly recommend!!

The Best Western Plus Boardman Inn & Suites is a great value at a convenient location. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and the free breakfast is nicely stocked with a good variety of hot and cold food.

We stayed overnight on a coast to coast drive. We had a sitting room and kitchenette, and separate bedroom. The bed was wonderful--really like the crinkly cotton duvet covers. Staff were most helpful and breakfast more than enough. There are many restaurant options across the road and at the highway intersection

Two of us stayed two nights mid week in a first floor double queen room as part of a third party arranged golf package. We found it comparable in operation and amenities to the best Hampton Inns we have typically used when traveling. Our room as well as the public spaces was very comfortable and clean. It is a newer hotel about four years old. Appreciated the in room single serve Keurig coffee maker! We didn't have an opportunity to use the pool, workout area, business area, or modest patio but these areas seemed attractive and adequate for a single night or short term stay. We found the staff (check-in, housekeeping, and breakfast) friendly and accommodating to our needs. It is conveniently located off of I-680 at the Boardman Poland road exit but quietly located away from the highway and main drag traffic and noise. There are a wide variety of fast food, chain restaurants, and several better restaurants (some walkable) nearby. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again

This is the third Best Western Plus we've stayed at and they have all been exceptional hotels. Our room was large, modern, everything you could ask for, granite counters, and a spa shower fixture. I can't think of a single negative at all. Friendly staff, great location, beautiful facilities and rooms, excellent breakfast selection. We will definitely stay here again if we're anywhere near this area.

We stayed one night in the BW Boardman. The facilities are kept very clean and tidy all across. The check in was prompt and we were given an accessible room for my wife and they even customized the bathroom chair for us ( many hotels leave you to do it). The GM and his staff were very helpful. The room, bathroom were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The AC worked properly as it was a hot summer day. I dont need much when i am out for a long ride. After a long day all i need is a place to clean up, go to dinner and sleep. I try to use BW so when i saw this one i stopped in. There was several places to go for dinner close by, two were within walking distiance. Newer motel and a little more than i needed but the price was good and the service and room was great.

We found this hotel online and felt is was the best option after considering several similar properties. (AKA BanDana Gramma on YouTube) I booked this hotel as a halfway stop on a 300 mile trip. I had no idea what the town was like, and only went by reviews and price for the hotel. This was a WONDERFUL hotel in a GREAT LOCATION. Boardman/Poland has new shops and restaurants everywhere, but the hotel is down a side street and quiet. I FOUND HOBBY LOBBY AND JOANNE FABRIC VERY CLOSE AND HAD A BALL SHOPPING THEIR SALES. We ate a couple of times at Texas Roadhouse, just around the corner. Everything in the hotel is sparkling clean and the staff is A-MAZING! Breakfast was great, cheese omelettes, toast, coffee, danish, yogurt, oatmeal, sausage, bacon, waffles, fresh fruit and more. They upgraded us to a suite "just because" for our stay while going west, and then we got a regular King for our stay returning home, and it was so roomy, it felt like a suite. I was traveling as a vendor for a homesteading affair, and I brought my sewing machine and had LOTS of room to set up and sew my crafts. I need to find a complaint. I can't think of any. Maybe that they hold $100 on your debit card for incidentals until everything clears? Not a big deal for us, but it might have been when we were younger and raising a family. If we find occasion to stop there again WE WOULD LOVE IT. I'm afraid people will flock to this wonderful place and they will have no vacancies next time! We can't say enough about this hotel. The room was the cleanest we have ever stayed in! Our entire stay was exceptionally nice. The breakfast was hot and fresh, staff replenished everything well, and I was delighted to find vegetarian options. And the bed was not rock hard. No noisy a/c.

We looked for a hotel that had everything we wanted from breakfast to hot tub. There were many hotel choices in the area, this one was an easy choice and a great decision! Hotel was exceptionally clean, pool and hot tub were a comfortable temp. prices in the mini shop were not outrageous, beds were comfortable, pillows not so much, but free cookies after 3! Yum!

We needed a place to stay close to the wedding reception we were attending at The Lake. Best Western Plus was only 4.5 miles from The Lake. It was very clean and updated. The service was excellent and the breakfast in the morning was great. We always try to stay at Best Western hotels when we travel because we know what to expect. This Best Western even exceeded our expectations!

We stayed here on our way to New York City and back. Friendly staff. Rooms are clean and spacious. We had a mini fridge and microwave. Breakfast was good. I only wish we could have spent more time here.

I stay at the BW in Boardman 3-4 times a year for work. The staff always remembers me, the rates are very reasonable and it is always clean. I wouldn't stay anywhere else - it's close to my office, restaurants and the freeway. It's perfect for me!

This property was ideal - it was in the middle of every kind of shopping imaginable. Multiple restaurants were within 2 minutes. The property was obviously new. The pool area was fairly nice, although there were a few things floating in the pool: someone's hair band, several strings and a small clump of hair. Very small pool, but nice for the kids. Hot tub was very nice. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

For the quality and amenities of this hotel, I would have expected to pay twice the price. The building and room was super clean, the staff very friendly, good breakfast and the internet worked. Highly recommend!

The Hotel is super clean and had a very comfortable room. The Staff is very friendly and helpful. Furnishings appeared to be recently upgraded. Needed to make a correction to my checkout date and the General Manager Emmett and the desk client Allie resolved the issue. There was a lot of variety for breakfast , eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, waffles etc. Location was excellent , very accessible and close to shopping.

Stayed at this BW for nearly 4 months straight for work. The staff was friendly, inviting and helpful. Their General Manager is a great guy, willing to talk with and assist everyone. Room cleaning staff was pleasant and efficient. We got a good deal for the stay too, so I am very happy with it all. Highly recommend.

This was our 2nd year spending the weekend at The Bestwestern for a hockey tournament. Not one complaint! Everything is clean! Everyone is super nice! Everyone is super accommodating! Biggest snow storm to hit the area in a long time from what I was told. Got the rental car stuck in the parking lot on Sunday of a four day stay. The hotel staff dug me out and helped get me back on the road. Way above and beyond and hats off to the staff. I ended up eating at the hotel Sunday morning and it was nice. Toast, eggs, bacon. ... safe bets I suppose when you are traveling. I would stay there again and the rates were right in line with everyone else. $80 ish a night ! Bet was awesome by the way. Clean room with a frig, TV, etc. I would stay here again.

I called this Best Western at like 10:00am after staying at a another place that was Disgusting the girls said that they had a few rooms that were already clean and inspected they took my information and I arrived 15 minutes later. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We got to our room and said Yes this is what we are used to My Wife was able too finish her shower in a clean place with Hot water. In Boardman to attend a family wedding and stayed at this hotel for 3-days. Location off the main highways very convenient and accessibility to major amenities including shopping and restaurants. Hotel is impeccably clean; the king size bed was very comfortable, as is the size of the room. Compliments to the General Manager Amit and his staff. Will return again and again!

Stopped in for the evening on my way to a funeral going Colorado to Pennsylvannia. The staff, service, cleanliness, room and comfort were excellent. Two stars deducted for the screaming children across the hall and above me. Lost three hours of sleep thanks to the inconsideration of fellow guests, obviously thin walls and no one doing anything about it. Definitely prefer a quieter hotel. If it were not for the noise, this would have been excellent accomidations for the price.

I picked this hotel because of the stellar reviews on this site. I typically choose Marriott and there were 2 right near here. The property is fairly clean, the rooms were adequate. There were a few rust spots which my teenage daughter pointed out in the bathroom. It just seemed sub optimally clean. I also had to clean the tub as there was hair in it when we went to shower. Yuck. We had 2 rooms and asked for additional towels and the attendant asked why? That was strange. The second night was hell. Literally, hell. We had a marching band above us. They rocked and rolled until almost 4 AM. I called the desk twice and each time it got worse. Ironically it started again around 10 the next morning. We were exhausted and of course late checking out and of course we got several calls and door knocks of housekeeping waiting to clean the room. We were out by 1, check out was 12, so it was overkill. Thanks for the courtesy. I got no sleep and your kicking me out. Awful customer service. Lastly, during the circus marching I ordered pizza and proceeded to sit in the lobby to eat and was told the lobby was closed. Again something I've never heard of in all my travels. How exactly do you close a lobby in a hotel? At 11 PM at that. I counted the 8 other people to wonder thru while I sat there to eat. I wonder if they knew it was closed? Ironically she didn't tell them that it was. Terrible trip to Best Western Plus. I will not return. As I visit the area often I think I'll return to Canfield Hampton inn and suites or the courtyard there , it's worth the extra money.

This must be a newer hotel. There is nothing like stepping into your room after a day of travel and golf and smelling the "new room" smell. It was fantastic! The buffet breakfast was very good and hot and everyone was very friendly.

There are plenty of places to choose to stay in this area but the best western plus was by far the most hospital. We stayed here with our baseball team. They were patient and courteous to all the kids. The breakfast had long hours with plenty of choices for all appetites. The rooms and hallways were clean the hotel was fully staffed and helpful. It was a relaxing stay during a hectic schedule. The manager whoch I wish I got his name was funny and made you feel like a guest in his home. Thank you.

Met on arrival by a friendly host. After a quick check-in we found our room clean and spacious. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've had in a long time. I slept like a baby. Arrived here for two nights 19th & 20th June 2018. Met Amit when checking in and what a great Ambassador for Great Western Hotels. He could not do enough tom help and made our two night stay exceptional. We were over on a 217 night tour and were visiting friends in Ohio. The Hotel was fairly new, but was also still immaculately clean. They obviously take pride in this hotel. Rooms were very spacious and luxurious. We had an exceptional time and could not fault this hotel if i tried. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, tea and coffee on 24/7. The service was excellent by john. He knew exactly who i was when all i mentioned was a reservation. Out of the 7 times i been there, he was the only one that mentioned the membership reward thing. I will definitely be making more visits in the near future.

My husband and I stayed overnight at the Best Western. The room was very clean. The person at the front desk was polite. I have stayed in several hotels in the area, and this is by far the best. We will definitely stay again. p.s. They serve wonderful cookies and the coffee is good.

I booked this hotel for a weekend golf outing over the Memorial Day weekend. I have used other hotels in the area in the past. I contacted the hotel over the phone to see if they offered golf group packages. Amit the GM responded through an email that they did. He sent the info that I requested for my review. The packages looked good and had a very good price. I booked 5 rooms for our group of 10 golfers. I was in contact with Amit several times. He got back to me in a timely manor with answers to my questions. We arrived late afternoon on Friday. Upon entering the front door I noticed how clean and maintained the place looked. Amit just happened to be at the front desk. He introduced himself. He couldn't have been nicer. He assisted with check in and asked if we needed anything else. The rooms are big and very clean. We had a microwave, mini fridge and Kurig coffee maker. Bathrooms looked brand new and very well stocked. Beds and pillows were very nice also. Nice size tv. The pool is a little small but is serves its purpose. Hot tub was relaxing but doesn't have the strongest jets. Once again it did the job. Pool towels ran out but were replaced very fast. Breakfast was very good with many choices. Offered pre made omelettes, egg whites and scrambled eggs. Bacon and sausage. Two types of waffles to make. Along with cereal and numerous types of breakfast pastries. Juice and very good coffee. Yogurt choices. This is one of the better hotel breakfasts I have seen. The staff kept everything tidy and stocked. I probably could go on and on about all of the good that experiences that we had. Amit and his staff were very good. I hope they keep up the high standards and quality that they offer. I plan on booking another weekend here and would highly recommend this hotel.

This place was the best motel I ever stayed in and my wife thought the same. So clean, and people so caring, best breakfast ever at a Best Western and I could not say one bad word about this place and the price was very reasonable. All in all, a very comfortable room with a very nice kitchen. I would give the cleanliness a 9, better than some Hyatt's I have stayed in. Super friendly front desk personal. My only complaints would be the fake eggs at breakfast (otherwise a nice breakfast) and if you are a light sleeper get a room on the top floor. I could hear the person above me walking back and forth all night and then again at daybreak. I thought it was a little overpriced for those reasons. After all, you are there to sleep.

We always stay here when we are in the Youngstown area. Price is right. The rooms are great and the breakfast in satisfying. Check in is quick and check out quicker. Nice exercise room and the business center is quiet and in a dedicated space.

What a great room and a comfy bed. I was right where I needed to be as an out of town guest to a wedding, but the room was so nice I found myself wishing I could stay longer. The bed is super comfy and there are a TON of amenities in this room!

Best Western is where I stayed in Poland, Ohio after a very long drive back from Pittsburgh where I was visiting. This property looks brand new and it seems has only been there a couple years. Staff were great. Friendly and helpful with info. This place was even better than the Red Roof I stayed at last time I was here for about the same price. The hotel is impeccable, one of the cleanest in which I have stayed. I asked one of the employees if they built it brand new recently or remodeled it and she said it was 3 years old. The rooms are very spacious, well decorated, modern and clean. Bathrooms are nice and the dual rain shower head is amazing. This place is a bargain at $82.

My family and I came to visit friends and family for Christmas. The Best Western Plus in Poland was excellent. Very clean, employees very helpful and the breakfast bar was great. We ended up checking out a day early and they were very understanding about the situation.

This hotel had some great staff (although they looked a little bit overworked) and some great amenities and breakfast. The room was fairly new and was cleaned exceptionally. You will not regret sleeping in the very comfortable beds!

I've never seen a hotel manager jump a dead battery for a guest, but this manager went above and beyond to help! The manager was also extremely helpful in assisting me with the business center machines.The entire staff was friendly and made our stay awesome!

Clean comfortable room with a great breakfast. The services offered (health club, business center, pool, staff) were top notch. I received $200/Night Hilton/Marriott level stay at a $105/Night price. I would highly recommend this property. BTW: the room I had was a King Suite.

We went to the East Coast for Thanksgiving and stopped at this hotel on the way out. We liked it so much we stopped again on the way back. Clean, comfortable bed, quiet, good breakfast, good staff. Well located.

This hotel was so incredible with my family and extended family during the funeral services of my brother. They went out of their way for us and took care of us . I cannot say enough about them and the way we were taken care of by the entire staff but esp.,the hotel manager. If you ever need a place to stay, it is clean and friendly and treat you like a 5 star hotel.

We stayed in a King suite with kitchenette. My 2 year old (almost 3 year old) slept great in the larger size cribs they have available. He's average height and he was able to still fit in the crib. If he was any taller, it would have been a tight squeeze, but these cribs were still a good option for him. He would be way too big for the pack n plays that are offered at other hotels. We requested an extra flat sheet for the crib and also brought a crib sheet from home.

After driving all day in torrential rains, we arrived at the Best Western in Poland, Ohio. The Inn is on a street that is seemingly exclusively motels. Upon entry we found a spacious lobby with guests visiting with each other. Unique. People actually talking. Our clerk was full of smiles and it was evident she loves her job. Our room was HUGE and comfortable. Loved our stay-what more can I say?

My extended family went to Youngstown to celebrate my Mom's birthday. This hotel has a wonderful caring staff. The breakfast area was a great spot for us to congregate and we always felt welcome and comfortable. We could talk and share family memories without feeling that we were in the way.

We stayed here for a youth hockey game. Not what you expect when you hear Best Western Plus. As nice as a hilton, choice or Marriott hotel. We will stay here again. Rooms were clean, pool and hot tub were nice, staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. We will stay again.

Very suite was very clean. The room had full guest amenities. All of the conveniences that should be in a hotel suite were there. Full size refrigerator, dishwasher, complete kitchen supplies, etc. Excellent bed and bathroom. Very quiet and no rush to get out in the morning. Great breakfast. Nice workout room and pool. This hotel met and exceeded our expectations. From the greeting when checking to the goodbye when checking out, we had a great stay. The room was ready early when we arrived at the hotel allowing us to unwind after a 9 hour drive. It was clean, bright, and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with a good selection of hot and cold foods and a great way to start the day. All of the staff we encountered were kind and helpful. They all had great attitudes and looked like they enjoyed doing what they were doing. This is our new go to place when in the Boardman area.

Very convenient to highway and restaurants. Parking close to entrance and elevator, good lighting in room, Kurig coffee maker good, plenty of pillows, easy check in and out, helpful associate at check in desk. Competitive cost with AAA discount. Overall, a good stay.

We stayed 1 Night here on our way to a weekend wedding in Michigan. I found the hotel from reviews on-line. It's located in a quiet area among a few other hotels. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was very spacious, very clean and modern. The beds was very comfortable with some if freshest bedding and pillows I've ever seen at a comparable hotel. The bathroom was also very clean and spacious with awesome toiletries that smelled very refreshing. I had one the best showers ever in a hotel bathroom. Also enjoyed a great night sleep in that big beautiful bed. ??I'm sorry I didn't take any pictures. The free breakfast offered many choices and was very fresh and filling. In our few dealings was hotel staff, we found them to be very professional, courteous and helpful. My only complaint was that we only stayed for 1 night. ????If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay here again.

I stayed there in October 2016, I was there for 4 nights. The check in staff was wonderful! She was so nice and answered all my questions. She even gave me some suggestions on where to eat and shop. Every employee that I met there was very nice. The hotel itself was very clean. The room was very spacious. And absolutely spotless! Breakfast was pretty good. I would definitely stay there again!

We read the great reviews about this place and actually changed our reservation to try it out and it was fantastic! First of all, the people at the desk were very friendly and helpful. We arrived in time to try out their fresh cookies in the evening and enjoy the hot tub. The hotel is only 1 1/2 years old and it is extremely clean and well decorated. Our room was decorated in a light, airy blue and the breakfast room had plenty of windows. The breakfast was excellent - sausages, potatoes, cheese omelettes, waffles, yogurt, breads, cereal. We would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again. In addition, it was very reasonable. It is also located near many places to eat if you need another meal other than breakfast. Very close to the interstate.

There aren't enough adjectives to describe our amazing stay at the Best Western Plus! We had just driven 750 miles and were exhausted. We were warmly greeted by the front desk clerk ( Alyce?), quickly registered, and given our room keys. Every aspect of this hotel is pleasing to the eye; our room was tastefully decorated and modern. The beds were more comfortable than my bed at home, and the bathroom was roomy with granite counter tops, and my favorite Bath and Body soaps and lotions. There is a Keurig coffee maker, microwave, small fridge, and free wi-fi. Also included with our stay was the delicious breakfast buffet that offers fresh fruit, eggs, cereal, muffins,sausage and bacon. Every member of the staff treats you as if you are the only guest they have. I needed help checking the oil in my car, and the manager Ahmed came and assisted me with that as well. I only wish that every hotel could live up to the standards of quality that this hotel puts forth for their guests...they truly put the "Best" in Best Western!

This hotel is clean and in great condition. Their staff members were all pleasant. The breakfast room had plenty of room. I'd definitely stay here again in the future. One word of warning -- when putting the hotel into your GPS be sure to enter Youngstown as the city. The GPS will not accept Boardman or Poland.

I stay at this hotel with my son so he could swim when the weather is turning colder. This stay we did not swim much because the beds are so comfortable. This is one of the best hotels in that area. Breakfast is great as well!

I love the comfort that I felt when I was here with a very up to date style. I love that their fitness center is open 24 hrs being I'm a creature of the night so this appealed to me greatly. There are many shops and mill creek park is close by to entertain you. I would advise this hotel for anyone solo to families, you won't be disappointed. Overall great place to stay for the price that you pay.

Very nice property, very new as of Oct 2016. We had one stay on the 3rd floor, another on the 2nd floor. Both were very good. This hotel is in a good, quiet location. It is easy to find, the staff are very helpful if needed. No complaints.

We were in Youngstown for a wedding and they got a block of rooms for the out of town guests. The hotel is very new and has great amenities. Breakfast was at the upper end of "continental breakfast included" hotels we have stayed at. Very convenient location for all of the area. Highly recommended!

Last minute booking, but rate was less than $100. Everything was squeaky clean and the room was spacious and comfortable. Bed and pillows were great. The staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful. Overall great experience.

Greatly enjoyed my 2-night stay here. I was with a group of 40 seniors on a bus tour going to Chicago. We stayed here our first & last nights. The room on both occasions was large, nicely furnished & very clean. The mattress in both rooms was one of the most comfortable mattresses I had ever slept on! Several others in our group commented also on how comfortable the beds were here! There was also a large refrigerator & microwave in each room. The included breakfast buffet always offered fresh fruit...apples, bananas & tangerines. We had yogurt, orange or apple juice from a dispenser, waffles you could freshly prepare, pastries, cold cereal in small boxes, bacon, sausage, potatoes, cheese omelet offered each day.

Never stayed at a Best Western before. Always thought it was lower-grade. Good reviews of this location encouraged us to give it a try. We were not disappointed. This hotel was every bit as good as ones costing $25-$50 more. Sparkling clean, very comfortable, nice bathroom. Only quibble we could find: not enough seating for the breakfast. We will be using this as our go-to whenever in this area again.

This is all you need to feel like a King..if you don't stay here, you made a mistake. Close to all of the nice shopping and eating. Just off the highway. Staff are very helpful. Rooms are nice and clean, fitness, morning breakfast is always nice and hot.

We had a second floor room. Everything appeared new. The breakfast was standard BW food except they had Bacon!!! I almost never see bacon at a hotel. A very pleasant stay. Easy access to and from the highway. Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby.

Since the price of Grove City Hotels have skyrocketed, we are always looking for a close alternative...this is the place!! Our stay was almost half the price, only a 30 min drive (would have been 20 but the construction) to Grove City, and the dining options were limitless!! The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable. The morning breakfast, which is included, was spread across 2 large counters, eliminating waffle & egg back-up! They even had bacon!! The hot tub was also very theraputic & the entire pool area (including the pool) was very clean. We will definitely stay again!

My room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I would stay again if in town. I needed an early check in after driving 6 hours from PA so I could take a nap before going to a Wedding that afternoon and I got it. Convenient location, plenty of parking, nice pool and hot tub. welcoming staff

The room was a good size for the two of us, and the pool--a small one--was a great amenity that I got to enjoy all by myself for a couple hours! Highly recommended! One suggestion: put a clock of some kind in the pool area.

Traveling from Western Colorado to the coast of Virginia we stopped here for the night exhausted. The staff was very friendly. The room was amazing! It was large, comfortable, modern, clean. The beds were very comfortable. The shower was amazing with a spectacular shower head, ac was quiet and efficient, breakfast was awesome! Convenient to the highway, but it feels very safe. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel.

This was my first time staying at a Best Western in years and I was really surprised at all the improvements that have been made to this brand. The Best Western Boardman Inn& Suites in Poland Ohio is an excellent hotel.

I stayed 3 nights at this hotel as I was sightseeing around Ohio. From the moment I checked in, I knew this was going to be a great hotel. It is a newer built hotel (only 1 or 2 years old). The girls at the front desk are very helpful, wonderful, professional, and absolute sweethearts! The rooms are very nicely sized with granite counters in the kitchen/bathroom area. Nice flat screen tv's. Nice size fridge and microwave. I thought the bed was too hard the pillows were too soft, but that's my personal sleeping opinion. I'm use to a soft mattress and hard pillows. The shower was nice and hot. The pool and hot tub was on the smaller size, but I took use of it and swam in it all 3 nights. It is very humid in the pool area. You cannot access the outside patio from the pool area. The outside patio seating area was nice. Even has a grill if you want to cook out. The continental breakfast was a wonderful selection of coffee, juice, tea, cereal, muffins, fruit, waffles, bagels, eggs, bacon, sausage, omlets, potatoes. Lots of parking. You near a lot of stores, restaurants. It's a very well conveniently placed hotel. I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat!

Stayed during a state baseball tournament with other families. Nice breakfast, clean rooms, good service overall. Appreciated the coffee available 24 hrs. Patio access from pool is restricted so you have to go in and out of patio area from different door. Very hot in pool area and unable to easily go to patio for fresh air. Several other hotels on this strip and this seemed to have good amenities for the price. Close to restaurants and shopping, right off I-680. Microwave, fridge and Keurig in all rooms, spacious floor plan.

We were very pleasantly surprised, this is a clean comfortable hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. We do not usually stay at Best Western properties but, plan to consider Best Western Plus in the future when needing a hotel. Breakfast had many selections and good quality.

Years ago, Best Western hotels were 'right up there' in the choices of affordable yet quite nice hotels. Then the quality slipped significantly in the late-90s, so when I was looking for a clean, reasonable hotel near Canfield, OH last week, the Best Western Plus, even though it was ranked #3, didn't catch my eye at first. Then, I saw the $89.99 rate (compared with $146 for the #1 hotel on the list), so I checked the review, looked at the photos, and decided to take a chance. It was a very good choice. Terrific hotel in a quiet "patch" of other hotels and restaurants, 3/10ths of a mile from I-680. Clean, well-lit lobby. Efficient check-in. Large king bed room. Spacious, very clean bathroom. Good wi-fi. VERY comfortable bed and pillows. No road noise. Quiet A/C. The pool and hot tub were small and full of kids, so I didn't spend much time in either. Standard fare free breakfast. Completely satisfied with my stay. I do want to mention Ashley by name. Ashley greeted me warmly & checked me in, recommended several places to eat, fixed my TV remote (was at my door in 3 minutes after I called her at the front desk), made a "plate" from the breakfast buffet for me because I was going to be late in getting back from an early morning meeting, and she was just as friendly and helpful as possible. Thank you, Ashley !! I highly recommend this hotel. (for pet owners: pets are allowed, but there is a cleaning fee, so my dog had to go to boarding near home this time). My date of check-in was 8/3, for one night.

Great hotel. Allowed to check in early which was very helpful. Honored our over the phone rate. Wonderful breakfast. Laundry on 1st floor for those who are traveling for baseball tournaments. Also grill on patio for all to use.

Have stayed in many Best Western Hotels and found this one to be ranked near the top. Knowledgeable staff, great hot breakfast, and extremely clean room. The breakfast buffet was kept full and the staff member payed close attention to the cleanliness of the area. Good location with many restaurants close by and an easy off and on the highway.

This hotel is extremely well run. Excellent value for price (which is competitive with other hotels in the area). Management and staff are friendly and know their job. Furnishings are new and rooms are well maintained and clean.

Loved this big room with 2 queen beds. Bed was very comfortable with 4 fluffy pillows on each bed. The covers were so comfy--not too light and not too heavy. Our room had microwave and fridge plus the usual accessory items. The sink is not located outside of the shower and toilet which we would have preferred. We didn't use the pool or fitness room. The breakfast was good and had lots of hot and cold choices. Location is on road with other motels and seemed very quiet. Many restaurants and shops nearby.

We had a very nice roomy 2 queen room, lots of conveniently placed outlets which is important to me. Free wireless without the hassle of many hotels. The breakfast was 1st class. Generous offerings of everything from fruit, cereal, eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, etc. Very clean. Comfortable beds.

Before our stay at the Best Western Plus Boardman Inn and Suites we didn't know what the "Plus" after the Best Western meant. We have stayed at many Best Westerns and prefer them to other chains. The desk clerk explained the Plus to us and we had to agree. It was a step above the other Best Westerns. Everything was very clean and the bed was excellent.

Our family of six including 4 small children ages 5 and under, LOVED it! Clean, luxurious and delicious. Had a lovely time in the pool, spa and gym but the most impressive features were the friendliness of the entire staff, world class breakfast and really clean room.

This was our second stay here. This hotel is in great condition, looking very new. Very clean. Everything perfect, including the staff. There are something like 140 places to eat within a short drive; ask the reception clerk and they have some coupons you might want to use. The free breakfast was good too. Rooms all seem to have microwaves and refrigerators. Easy to get to. Easy parking.

We typically stay at the Fairfield Inn across the street, but we decided to try the new Best Western Plus Boardman Inn & Suites and we're glad we did! It had everything we've been accustomed to expect from a Best Western Plus – a clean, comfortable room, a good, hot breakfast selection and courteous service. The breakfast selection included cheese omelettes, sausage, bacon, waffles, fresh fruit among other things We will stay here again when we're back in the area.

Wonderful spot right off of I-680 near the turnpike. Very clean room. Personable staff. Breakfast was fresh and included a nice variety. Also right across from a very nice restaurant (Springfield Grill) if you are planning to have dinner with friends and family or even for business.

When we checked in the lady at the desk was so helpful and courteous. She gave us some suggestions on where to eat nearby etc. Our room was very clean and I loved having the Keurig machine. The bed was so comfortable! I just loved all the pillows and the mattress was just perfect. Plus, there wasn't any noise from the surrounding rooms. We had such a great night's sleep. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

I chose this hotel over the Hampton next door because it was new. Big mistake ... too many things went wrong. The sheets were like sandpaper. The breakfast was reheated frozen omelettes that were usually not hot. The cleaning staff were unfriendly and inattentive. The manager seemed concerned but only with words spoken, not action. Wifi was sporadic. I booked the room for 5 nights through AAA and was shocked to learn they immediately sold it to a consolidator which meant I could not check out early without loss of the entire payment. Don't stay here, go next door.

Were not comfortable. They were wobbly and not sturdy. Very disappointed after 9 hours in the car. Good location. Good restaurant across the street: Springfield Inn. We would stay again but they must improve the bedding and mattresses. This is a must!

we come to Y town on a regular basis to see family and friends, this hotel was very nice, clean, fresh, and a nice breakfast. It also happens to be across the street from the best restaurant in town, the Springfield.

The front desk (specifically Shannon) was fantastic- very attentive to our needs and went out her way to accommodate any requests we had. Rooms were great, very well furnished and very clean. Breakfast was surprisingly good with a great selection of items. Would definitely stay again!

I stayed here for 3 days and very impressed with EVERYTHING. The hotel is in excellent shale and very clean inside and out. The staff was very helpful. The complimentary breakfast is as good as it gets. I will certainly use this hotel in the future.

Very satisfied with everything...Breakfast is great and the cookies at the front desk are AMAZING!! The room was very spacious and having a refrigerator and microwave was a great bonus. The grounds were very nice and the lobby was clean. The front desk receptionist was very helping with providing more pillows,blankets and anything else we needed. Great value, super staff, great pool .... could not ask for more! The location was great for our leisure destination - the auto swap met only a few miles away. Tons of food options close by, as well as shopping destinations.

Service was terrible. I had called for booking my hotel room and everyone seemed very friendly and helpful. I was excited for the weekend stay because I knew my friends and family would be there as well for the same wedding. But as soon as I got there, we were told there was noise complaints the night before for our wedding party so we better be quiet because there was some cheer or dance competition that "they had to wake up at 5am", even though I had not been there the night before. Also, our wedding party gave this hotel plenty of advance notice before the wedding that we would be coming in. I know that the hotel was booked the weekend we stayed because other people from the wedding had tried to get a room and they said they were booked. Wouldn't be surprised if we brought in over half of the people that stayed in the hotel that night but we were treated really badly. I felt terrible for the bride and groom because me and two other people (including the mother of the groom) were told that we can stay in the conference room after the wedding and make as much noise as we want until 2 am. We got into the conference room at midnight and by 12:45am we were being told (for what seemed to us was just because we were being loud) that the cops were being called on us and that we were getting kicked out- all of this was told to us by the front desk attendants that were there the night of 3/5/16. My significant other and I went back to our room with another couple and chatted for a bit before we went to bed, but at one point, I had to get something from my car and I walked by the front desk where the wedding party was in a huge fight with some of the hotel attendants. I just can't believe how aggressive these two attendants were to two people who were just supposed to be celebrating their marriage this weekend. I am not going to deny our group was rowdy, but the hotel never even gave us a chance to go in and act like adults, they instantly began to provoke us and tell us to be quiet as soon as we walked in the door. I just feel terrible that the bride and grooms weekend was derailed by bad service at this hotel and they spent most of the night fighting with these two attendants rather than experience happy times with friends and family. In my opinion, attendants have one important job, and that is customer service. The customer service was terrible this weekend because they were extremely rude and aggressive towards everyone.

Newer hotel so needless to say it was up to date. Staff was great and always there to help. We had a large group and they went above and beyond to have breakfast ready for us early so the kids could eat.

Our family gathering was met with personable, accommodating staff from front desk, room upkeep, and manager. Our family all enjoyed this home away from home, wonderful breakfast with many choices, great common areas, beautiful comfy rooms, and close to everything, restaurants, shopping, etc. Highly recommend! Stayed for three nights with family. Room was a nice size for four, two queen beds, fridge, microwave, and keurig coffee maker; HD TV. Hotel is fairly new, so everything seemed very clean and everything in the room worked well. Good array of breakfast items. The pool is on the small side, and about four feet deep or so at its deepest. (Says that the maximum capacity is 15 people.) Hot tub jets did not work. Staff was friendly.

Pros: Everything was as advertised on your travel websites such as Expedia, Travelocity, or Hotels.com. There was a hot tub and pool. Most hotels state they have a hot tub but when you arrive, there isn't one or it's broken. They did have a nice array of breakfast items as everyone had said. They had free cookies at the front desk, however there wasn't any left every time I walked by. The front desk service was friendly. The hotel rooms were clean and the hallways were clean. Fairly new hotel, no cigarette smell in the rooms or anything like that. TV in the room was in HD. Business center was clean and up to par. There were laundry facilities to use. There was a convenient store in the lobby area, which was nice. There were maps lying around the lobby for dining choices, shopping, etc. Cons: The pool wasn't very big and wasn't heated. The hot tub was small and the jets weren't working. Housekeeping didn't come to my room to clean or refresh it a couple of the days I stayed here and I wasn't sure why. They should be doing their job if I'm paying $115 a night with tax included. The vending machine was broken on my floor. I asked for a 1st floor room with my reservation and they didn't have any available when I arrived. There wasn't much parking so if you come back after dinner, sometimes you might have to park across the street. The staff didn't do a very good job keeping the floors clean in the lobby nor my room because of wet snow being brought into the hotel. Almost slipped one time.

Since this hotel is practically new, everything was fresh and appealing. Breakfast was equal to quality of any other hotel. Customer service was good. Decor was attractive as well. I would recommend to others who are traveling in this part of the country.

This hotel is a year old and the service and furnishings are outstanding. The staff goes out of their way to make sure the guests are comfortable. There are several good restaurants within walking distance. It is conveniently located outside of Youngstown and is a halfway stop for us when we drive to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

This Best Western is always our first choice when staying in town. It is always clean and smells nice too. Coffee and cookies are always available. There is always a staff present for help and information. The breakfast is well stocked and warm. The bathroom is very clean with plenty of towels.

Hotel was in a good location just off the highway. Lots of shopping and places to eat near. The hotel was immaculate, as it's still quite new. We had two queen beds which were firm but very comfy for a good nights sleep. Everything was clean to my standards and presentable. Access was easy in terms of parking and getting inside with plenty of parking available. Bathroom was fine. Very clean and new so couldn't complain. If I had to fuss, my elderly mother found it a bit scary to get into the tub without something to hold onto, but I think I would probably suggest getting a "accessible" room if you travel with elderly. I think a walk in shower may have been better suited for her, but other than that, we had plenty of towels and I really just can't fault the place. Complimentary breakfast was standard and ok. It was sausage gravy and muffins, toast and bagels, waffles, cereal, fruit/muffins, scrambled egg discs, bacon was fabulous......dining area was clean and the gal who took care of preparations was very friendly. You'd expect the bacon to be tough at 10 when we nipped in for a late breakfast one morning but it was just as good as it probably was first thing in the morning. She cooked it to perfection. Front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. There was an Indian fella who had lived in England before moving to USA who was also very nice and friendly. So overall, great staff, great service and great rooms. I wish all my hotel stays were as good! Pool was quiet and clean when my niece and her friend went swimming a few times. I did check it out with my review of our stay in mind. Great place to stay. There is also a restaurant right across the street with fabulous food!!

I couldn't be more pleased with our stay at the Best Western Plus, Boardman/ Poland. The hotel is beautiful (both the public spaces and the individual rooms) and is in the perfect location, with many great restaurants, stores, malls, etc. nearby. The staff was great! They went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. When my car broke down in the parking lot, the hotel staff ... didn't hesitate to help. They went out in the cold to try and jump start my car, and they helped me locate a local repair shop when my car had to be towed. This helped to turn a bad situation into a minor inconvenience (vs. a MAJOR head ache). I couldn't appreciate their support more. :-) Their suites (which include a mini kitchen and sofa bed) are awesome! If you're staying for multiple nights, I highly recommend the room upgrade. It was like staying in a small apartment, and it wasn't that much more expensive. The extra expense was well worth it! My only suggestion would be to add suites with two queen size beds (vs. only king size) for families. That was the only reason I didn't give excellent ratings across the board. The sofa bed made it do-able, but it wasn't terribly comfortable to sleep on.

If this hotel is on your way to wherever you are going I definitely recommend staying here. We stayed here on our way out to New York City and liked it so much we stayed here on the way back! The hotel is less than a year old and the rooms were large, clean, comfortable and welcoming! There was a coffee machine in the room with a good variety of coffee and hot chocolate along with a fridge. The bed was extremely clean, comfortable and there were pillows for firm and soft preferences. The hotel itself was very quiet and the front desk staff was extremely helpful. The breakfast area was fully stocked with a variety of hot and cold choices. I would have loved to have been able to stay here for a few days but time would not allow. It is also close to restaurants, coffee houses and shopping. LOVED IT!

I always stay at this hotel when I come to do business in Boardman. The staff great and helpful and the rooms are outstanding. This is my third trip to the area and I have had a great stay every time I go there. I will be returning every three months to do business in the area and have gotten to know most of the staff. Please keep up the great work..Keith

Obviously my assessment is based on the category which Best Western Plus sits. It is a 2.5 star hotel, meaning I am awarding it excellent in the category of what a 2.5 Star should offer. Obviously do not expect the Ritz Carlton. That being said: I got an awesome price on the Kitchen Suite. The employee working when I arrived was very pleasant and talkative. I grabbed a complimentary cup of coffee before heading up to my room. In the evening a female employee was also very pleasant. My room was very clean. I was impressed how the stainless steel sink was perfectly shiny and the stainless steel inside the dishwasher was on point too. The bathroom is an acceptable size with great modern fixtures. The room furniture is perfect, likely brand new. The decor and aesthetics of the room are great too! The television is large and high definition. The bed is very comfortable and overall my experience is great. The furniture is durable and exceeds my expectation for a hotel in this category. (i.e. it is not made of solid cherry wood, but is still solid). There is plenty of suburban shopping and eateries near by. Everything is chain based, which is great when being unfamiliar in the area and not really in the mood to hunt out local. THE ONLY THING I would recommend to this hotel. In the room have a cheap pamphlet explaining the offerings of the hotel. (i.e. vending/ice location, sundry shop info, pool hours, channel listing etc). It would not need to be anything big, just a quick intro to the property. There was a few things in the lobby which may be similar to what I am suggesting.

We stayed here due to the fantastic reviews here on TripAdvisor. And we were not disappointed! This hotel opened in early 2015, so everything is still nice and new. We enjoyed every part of our stay, from the friendliness of the clerks at the front desk, to the room decor, to the excellent breakfast. Everything was fantastic! It's one thing to say that the staff is "friendly", but each person we dealt with at the front desk went above & beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure us that they would do whatever they can to make our stay a great one. And it was very much appreciated! There is a pool and a hot tub. The pool is slightly small, but that's to be expected at most hotels in this price range. And the continental breakfast was definitely above average! On top of the expected bagels, yogurt, cereal, and waffles they had bacon, eggs, sausage patties, cubed potatoes, biscuits and gravy, etc. Everyone was very pleased. Workout room is also nice, equipped with brand new elliptical, recumbent bike, treadmill, and cable system gym. Hotel location was within walking distance to quite a few restaurants: The Springfield Grille (which is more of a fancy type sit down restaurant with excellent food), there's also an Outback Steakhouse, Subway, Papa John's Pizza. If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely stay here again.

Very nice. Awesome place to stay. Very clean and a friendly staff. The Breakfast was very good! There were a lot of other hotels in this area. I would choose this hotel every time. It is in a great location to go and get just about any food you would want for dinner. A couple places even within walking distance.

I had a wonderful stay. Hotel is right off of the interstate and close to shopping and nice places to eat. The hotel was modern and very clean. I did not get a chance to check out the pool or the gym, due to time. I have never stayed in a Best Western before, but if I return, it would be on my list of places to consider.

This hotel was brand new, the service was excellent. The staff were very friendly, courteous & accommodating.There is a big size pool & gym. The room included a good buffet breakfast. I would definitely recommend to a friend!

Very accommodating on ALL levels. Great place to stay. The staff attitude was that of "no problem at all" to "glad to help you" and we were thanked for our stay, etc. Keep up the good work! The hotel is very well maintain and kept up on appearance, etc.

The hotel was in a nice location of town with plenty of restaurants close by. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was updated and clean from the lobby to my room. Room had all the amenities I could want or need. It was perfectly clean (and I always do a check once going into a hotel room). Breakfast was free and plentiful with a great variety to choose from. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family and will stay here again if in the area.

We stayed here on Halloween night. I was completely impressed with the room. It was beautifully remodeled! It housed a fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. Also, the hot breakfast in the morning (bacon, omelettes, etc) was a nice change compared to some hotels continental breakfast disasters. Being from Youngstown, we don't need to stay in a hotel, but being this was a special occasion, I definitely picked the right place. Definitely recommend!!

This hotel is a PLUS!! in every way! Its located far enough off Rt-224 to cut down on the traffic noise but yet close to a Great restsurant. We stayed there two days and enjoyed the hospitality. We would recommend this BW Hotel.

we stay here for two nights. excellent management. unlike the hotel across the street.cost more we moved form there ...manager hollowing at guest terrible..house keepers rude one or two ok the rest a mess. but here it was pleasant. excellent service nice soaps. just nice stay. we loved it. spacious rooms.

So nice to have the full breakfast included in your price. Rooms and entire hotel were immaculate. Staff was friendly, beds great. Opened is Feb 2015....very nice. Lots of chain restaurants within walking distance if you desire. Shopping all around the area. Would definitely return??

My wife and I are on a two week road trip of the Northeast. We flew to NYC from the Pacific Northwest, and are sight seeing along the way... We chose this hotel because it was a good stopping point, and they had excellent reviews... So far this was the nicest hotels we stayed at... The location felt safe, the rooms were huge, hotel was spotless, staff was friendly, and breakfast was good... We have road tripped in 37 states so far, so we have experience with hotels. This one is on the top of the list. It helps that the hotel is only 8 months old, but the staff really seem to care about this place... Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

After a really long day of driving, this place was perfect. Our spacious king room (305) was super clean, super nice, and had a super comfy bed. Staff was friendly, Keurig with coffee and hot chocolate in the room, nice toiletries (Hello--Bath & Body lime verbena soap!) and a tiny emery board so I could finally file that snaggy fingernail I broke two days prior! You thought of everything, Best Western! A+++

Very nice property, almost brand new. Extremely clean. Easy to get to from closest interstate and not far from I76 or Youngstown. Safe area. It is in a cluster of newer hotels, with many many choices of local restaurants and stores. Staff was friendly and competent. Absolutely wonderful stay.

Clean, clean and clean. What can you really say when everything is just perfect. Picked this place based on its excellent Trip advisor reviews and was not disappointed. Great night's sleep with peace of mind.

overall this was a good place to stay,very clean,nice updated rooms and décor,nice gym and pool was great, The breakfast buffet had a lot of items to choose from,but had the prepackaged industrial food/vending machine taste,so I cant say I was happy with the food,but everything else was great

My boyfriend and I are traveling across-country, and we were really just looking for a place to stay the night before the next long leg of the trip. We've traveled a lot, and tend to be wary of semi-economy hotels with low prices because I'm a light sleeper, and really need hotels to be clean. But I had no need to worry -- this Best Western was AMAZING! We arrived later in the evening, exhausted from the drive, and we were greeted by the friendliest staff at the front desk. She knew we were traveling far, and she had gone ahead and upgraded our room, free of charge. Such a welcome surprise, we almost wished we were staying there longer than one night! We wanted to get a quick bite to eat, and they were happy to give us recommendations and directions. The hotel and our room were very clean, and very quiet. I don't usually use the gym at hotels, but after a long day of driving I was thrilled to walk into the gym and see clean machines, wipes, TV's, and free water. It's small, with only 3 machines, free weights, and a weight machine, but no one else was in there, so it suited me! The breakfast was fully stocked, there was plenty of coffee, and the staff the next morning was quiet and pleasant. The hotel is also newly remodeled, and it is so nice inside. Honestly, the best hotel we've stayed in so far, I would go back again without hesitation if I was in the area.

Was very impressed with this property. Upon checking in the staff was very upbeat and personable. My room was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfy, towels were big and fluffy. Loved the décor of the hotel as well as the rooms. Pool and exercise room was inviting and the breakfast was one of the best, a lot to chose from and well stocked. Parking was plentiful and well lit at night. Very safe area with a good variety of shopping and restaurants close by.

Our hotel stay was very enjoyable,our room was clean and spacious. I really felt like we were in an upscale hotel it was that nice!! Did not have much interaction with staff but we found Nikki to be an absolute delight. We will definitely stay here in the future

I came for football game, the hotel was clean, staff was nice. location was nearby restaurants, supermarket, etc. I would recommend this hotel. The facility was recently renovated so furniture, rooms were up to date.
