Best Western Willows Inn

Cheap outdated motel not up to par with most Best Westerns. Outdated amenities in the room. Poor water pressure in the shower. Noisy room as one could hear snoring and TV from next door. People tail-gate partying in the parking area. Creep feeling to the whole nights stay. Would never stay again at this location .

The staff was very nice and help full. Beds were very comfortable.The rooms were very clean and well laid out.The city is a very small city but has everything you need Walmart tractor supply co. gas stations etc. I would highly recommend staying here.

Staff is great, breakfast is very good, but hotel itself is getting noticeably old. Room smelled of very strong disinfectant and it was too cold to air out the room. We stay at a lot of Best Westerns but we'll cross this one off our list.

Traveling through and stopped here for the night and to see the Pac12 championship on tv. The tv didn't work, and the desk tried to fix it. They wouldn't give us another room. Also the heat/ac control is contrary to operate, or it malfunctions. The wall thermostat was impossible.

The rooms were nice the breakfast was delicious, parking was adequate,was nice to be a stones throw away from Starbucks. Easy to find easy access to the freeway,Though the room rate was a little high it was the opening day of pheasant season so a lot of people were in the area so it was expected. Overall clean and a nice place to stay.

Clean enough room that could use some touch up in some areas. Certainly, no frills, but as expected. Good value for money. Breakfast area was clean, and the staff all seemed professional and helpful. I typically stay at two other hotel families in lieu of BW, so I might be a little jaded in what to expect, but this is a no frills place with comfortable beds and pretty quiet. I did look at the pool area and would likely not use it as it did have fine dust that settled across the bottom of the pool. This is likely due to the proximity of the interstate.

We booked the room on the way to Oregon. The room key given to us was already assigned to another guest. The employee asked if I checked if there was someone in the room. They assigned us another room, which was hotter than the outside temperature. This hotel is definitely a trucker hotel as people come in and out throughout the night.

Right off the freeway. Very clean room. Looks like freshly painted. Lots of parking near room doors. Restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was normal BW selection, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, bread, fruit etc.

Woman who checked me in was very helpful and professional. The towels were tired and in need of replacement. Cleaning wasn't done good. The staff was super nice and helpful. The breakfast was good. The hotel appears to be an older motel that was acquired by Best Western. It clearly does not meet their standards. Comfortable beds and pillows. Safe place for your car. Parking is plentiful for cars and trucks with trailers. Only one reason that I wouldn't stay in this hotel because all rooms in this hotel are pets friendly and I don't like to step in dog pee or sleep in same bad that dogs sleep before. Usually pets friendly hotels have some rooms pets friendly and some rooms no pets.

Toilet tank top didn't even match the toilet type. The towels were tired and in need of replacement .Cleaning wasn't done around the nightstands. The staff was friendly but didn't seem welcoming. A group of employees were standing around the front desk and just stood there staring while I checked out.

I would highly recommend the Best Western in Willows, CA. This was for a business trip. The staff was super nice and helpful. The facilities and room were clean. The breakfast was delicious! we will be staying here again on our future business trips.

This appears to be an older motel that was acquired by Best Western. It clearly does not meet their standards. The room was cold, noisy and generally unpleasant. We had to ask for and extra blanket and were reluctantly accommodated. The room was 46 F when we arrived and it took hours for the noisy window heater to raise the temperature to bearable. The room refrigerator was also noisy. The drapes had holes in them and the gaps around the door made it drafty. There was mold around the bathroom floor. Overall, we had a bad experience and do not recommend this motel.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. It was a short drive to the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge, which was wonderful and there are some nice restaurants nearby in addition to the usual chains.

This is a Motel 6, not a Best Western. They have tried to hide it, but it's old. It took me a bit to figure out how to use the soap fixtures that are solidly mounted to the wall. You have to squeeze them awkwardly. The faucet isn't right for the sink. There is no easy way to get your hands under the stream of water. After the Salem Best Western the night before, this place felt like a prison. A ray of sunshine was the young woman who checked me in. She was very helpful and professional.

What a great place to stay. Close to shopping and food. Desk clerk very helpful and fun. Room was clean and bath was great with hot water. I enjoyed the hot breakfast in the morning. The food display was very nice, the food area was kept clean and food replenished so it appeared they ran out of nothing. Will definitely recommend and stay again.

Room was as advertised. Staff is cordial and responsive. There are several places of business nearby that are very good for travelers, like Walmart and a "Dollar" store. I feel comfortable recommending this hotel.

After a long day traveling towing a boat this was a good place to stay. There is a large dirt area behind the motel for oversized vehicles, semis or people towing a boat to park. And it's lite at night so safe. The room was very comfortable & large. Bathroom was very nicely updated. Very easy on/off freeway. Breakfast was the usual nothing too exciting but still nice to be offered. Check in very smooth and gave me a goodie bag for being a BW member. Very quiet at night. I would recommend.

front desk was friendly. got me a pet friendly room which was great. room was outdated and nothing fancy but was clean and worked for the night. cleaning staff was great. overall a pretty good stay. right of the highway was perfect for my roadtrip stay

Best Western has always been good value. The rooms are clean and neat; the staff is friendly; breakfast was ample and hot; and the place was quiet. We enjoyed a very restful sleep in a clean, quiet setting. What more could you ask for?

This is a good place for stay one or two nights. Everything is in average. Brekfast is OK. Comfortable beds and pilows.The room and bath are clean. There are safe place for your car. The swimingpool is very dirty.

This BW is close to the highway a Starbucks and several food options that are walkable after a long days drive. The rooms are clean and the staff friendly. The serve breakfast to you and the choices are the usual breakfast fare. Everything was tasty and fresh. This was our last stop before heading back home and quite nice for an older BW.

For those who are tired from a long day at the track this hotel is the best… clean and friendly staff right next to STARBUCKS for this early morning warm up laps! Parking is plentiful for trucks with trailers and on a safe location.

THE BAD: The room was fine except for a few things: the arm chair needs replacing as does the computer chair; the carpet showed signs of wear. THE GOOD: the bathroom has been renovated and is quite nice; lots of hot water for the shower; the bed was EXTREMELY comfortable and we both slept well; good wi-fi; hot breakfast was served to us but was a good start to the day. Clean, quiet, comfortable room - overall a 31/2 star. We would stay again.

This was a very disappointing stay. The room was extremely dated and felt unclean. The bathroom is so out of date that when you try to sit down on the toilet, it feels like you're on the floor. The bed however, was comfortable. The parking lot seemed safe. Starbucks is next door. Motel 6 is better value.

This was a stop along the highway for us and we try to stay in Best Western hotels because they are usually very nice and reasonably priced. This one seemed to be priced quite high for the level of hotel it was. I don't believe I was actually charged the senior's rate but a higher rate instead. It's dated and worn. The carpets are not clean, bathroom very dated - the toilet so low it felt like we were heading down to the floor. There were no grab bars in the tub, no nonslip mat, no bathmat so we had to use a towel to stand on after shower.. Needs paint and a good clean. Towels were worn and thin. It's not ever going to be a return stop for us on our routes up and down I-5 in Northern CA. That said, the beds were clean and comfortable.

The staff were rude, nothing worked I will not be going back. I'd rather sleep in my car the next time I am in town. I have no idea how this place is still open!!!!!!! what a joke. Please take my word and never go there.

There were a few things wrong with our visit. The first was that I accidentally made a reservation for Wednesday night instead of Thursday night. I asked if we could get a refund for Wednesday night since they weren't sold out and didn't turn business away. The owner refused to refund the night. Also, the walls were very thin so heard conversations of the neighbor and a compressor kept going off all night so my husband hardly slept a wink.

Older Best Western, but very clean, had large refer with freezer, coffee, comfy, staff very friendly check in and check out. Server at breakfast very friendly. Had many breakfast choices but because of Covid the lady plated and served it. Very reasonable price. Liked the chicken chimichanga. Full breakfast and much to choose from. Will stay there again.

On road trips we stay almost exclusively at Best Westerns. This one is not up to par. Room had a nasty smell. The fan in the bathroom that shared the switch to the overhead light sounded like an airplane taking off. The ice machine was broken. The carpet worn. Towels were paper thin. Walls thinner. The front desk staff were pleasant.

Unbelievable experience with unruly teenagers skateboarding on the second floor veranda that has concrete flooring past 9 pm. Even worse, the so called manager of the evening would do nothing to either talk to the adult human about their teenagers or give them notice of the complaints which totaled 3 times. When we told her that she should call the police to bring order to the chaos, she said I should do it because she could not control them. Stayed here twice and both times a terrible experience. Never again! I'd rather pay more for a place that values their customers!

Staff here was friendly and informative about the surrounding area. All of my questions and concerns when explaining my bill out checkout was promptly and courteously handled. The vending machines and ice machines were conveniently located.

The room was filthy. Dead and live flies everywhere. Smelled that old musky, pissy smell that was worsened with like a carpet fresh type cover up that was very strong. Dumpest room I have stayed in in a long time and expect better from Best Western

I don't post negative reviews very often. But... this one takes the cake. I had picked this hotel based on location, positive reviews and my good experience with Best Western. It was supposed to be a quick overnight stay on my way south. I booked a room on Hotels.com, and specified I wanted a ground floor room in the comments (like I have done on previous reservations - this was important to me). After a 9 hour drive from Oregon, I arrived at 7.30pm. I entered the lobby area, and started the check-in process. The agent at the desk informed me that I had booked a Queen size bed. I responded him bed size was not important, but that I had specifically requested a ground floor room. I asked if there were ground floor rooms available, told him bed size was not important, and asked what I needed to do to make the change? His response - "I cannot make the change, and "you should not have booked through a 3rd party. There is nothing I can do" I asked for the Manager. His response "I AM the Manager" That was it. the end. So Ieft to find another hotel. Whatever happened to customer service? or employee empowerment? Don't support this hotel. They lost the plot. SO bad.

After three days camping at Sequoia/Kings, my wife found that a room with a bathtub was wonderful! During the heatwave of June ‘21, the wall thermostat HVAC was also nice. Modernized sink and vanity, tile. Walking barefoot in the room, the carpet felt clean. Front desk partitioned behind plexiglass for COVID-19 compliance. The county had just partially re-opened, so we had a hot breakfast, even able to eat while socially spaced indoors. Almost three hours after check-out, and well up the road, we discovered we left the purse in the dining area. The staff on duty found the purse, and offered to mail it to us. That kindness saved us back-tracking and losing five hours and more than three-hundred miles round trip to pick up the purse. I requested they charge a service charge and take my credit card information, which they willingly did. Excellent value for the points charged, and the staff went well above and beyond in helping us get the purse safely returned

We stopped one night on our trip and this was a disappointment. The property looks like it's in need of upgrading. Our room had flies. We were told it was normal?? We were "loaned" a fly swatter? Made me wonder how clean the room was. We saw piles of laundry bags right beside our room. I think we were near the laundry but maybe that's why the flies. Not our fav BW stay.

Typical motel for this area. Nothing special. Heater sounded like a bearing was going out, so I couldn't sleep with it on. TV sounded distorted so I couldn't watch it. I'd stay at another hotel next time I'm in the area.

My husband and I are both Best Western Rewards memebers (I'm truly questioing why although the Best Western at Disneyland is the best) and have stayed at many throughout the years! This has to be the worst experience we have ever had, and realizing they are are indepently owned, now I will consider the reviews on line more closely and so should you. After driving for over 12 hours and checking in at 7pm and not actually going to our room till 9:30 pm. (went to dinner at my sister-in-laws in willows) we entered our room realizing there were no blankets on our bed, a burnt out light bulb next to the bed, only 2 towels in our room, no ice bucket in our room, not the worst part but when we went back down to the front desk, the girl seem annoyed that we were asking for these items. She told us they were out of towels and we'd have to wait till the morning and out of blankets and only had quilts. She dissapeard for about 10 minutes and came back with a light bulb, ice bucket and 2 quilts. We again said, we'd like to take a shower tonight and first thing tomorrow morning and not reuse a wet towel, are you sure you don't have 2 extra towels, she sighed and said no. We returned to our room, unpacked our tolietries and my husband preceeded to turn on the shower.... after 15 minutes (NO HOT WATERl) he was very upset and tired. I called the Front desk and now talked to a guy named SAL who said they were having problems with their boiler but thought it was fixed but he didn't know. I said, well we don't have it, and we need to take showers. He said you'll have to wait till morning........Really, no offer to help or come check or anything???? My husband was so upset, he said were out!! I called the hotel next door and we packed up our stuff. I went to the desk and gave Sal the keys, and I said I hope we don't get charged for this. He said, I don't know you'll have to talk to the Manager Nestly, in the AM. We left and went to the hotle next door and stayed the night. By the time we went to bed it was 1:30 a.m. The next morning I looked at my emails and I was Charged!! I called and proceeded to talk to the manager and she said "you had the room and your getting charged". She didn't even care about everything I told her and that we were at the hotel next door. I told her I would dispute and she said, Thank you and hung up. I tried calling back and she had blocked my call. I immediately called corporate, explained the story to Bianca and she opened a ticket and told me I should hear back within 3 to 5 days. 5 days today, still nothing so I called my bank to dispute the charge. When I called corporate, they said, they didn't know why no one had called me and were closing it out since I opened a dispute with my bank. I asked to speak to a manager and was hold for 9 minutes, when she returned, told me they were all busy. My sister-in-law, moved to Willows after loosing her home and business in the Paradise fires. We will now be visiting her a lest 4 to 5 times a year and will NEVER Stay at this BEST WESTERN. This summer we are coming down for a party for her son at their home and will be bringing our families, I've already blocked out 10 rooms at the hotel next door!! Hope everyone reads this review and hope you consider it before booking. My sister-in-laws son is a employee and Chico State University and he too, will be sharing our experience with co-workers and friends. Word of mouth is a powerful tool.

When I travel I look for a place that is dog friendly, and this BW gave me a treat for my dog! A plus! also there is a large gravel lot for parking trailers (Take note horse people) walking your dog a nice little quite town with a Black bear dinner, and Nancys airport Cafe both have excellent food. Hotel was clean and neat and perfect for what I was hunting for!

Had a wonderful visit. The staff were very friendly and quick to answer my questions and requests. The room was very quiet even though there were people in the room next door. There were multiple restaurants within walking distance so this is a good location; easy access to I-5.

We've been using Best Western for the past 10 years on our twice annual peregrinations between Oregon and California. This hotel made us question - seriously - that choice. The good: room was clean, the bed was great. The bad: so short of staff it took me five 10-ring phone call to finally get someone at the desk. BW offers a buffet breakfast. During the Covid-19 we've been able to say what we wanted from the buffet (no waffles, sorry) and they'd box it up for us. Not here. We had a choice of a veggie omelette, a bagel or a waffle. The ugly: It was 105 when arrived at 4:30pm and it was not far from that in the room. Our request to be away from stairway, vending machines and elevators was not honored. The shower didn't drip, it ran - when it was off. The A/C was so loud one could barely sleep and it seemed that the insulation was so bad it had to go on every 10 minutes; we had it set to 78. The sheets had holes in them. This place is a disgrace to Best Western and to be avoided.

Great experience. Would definitely stay at this location again. Staff went over and beyond to help me with a situation with my vehicle they all decided to help and resolve the situation with the battery. Thank staff

Virus protocol okay but not as good as other BW motels: plexiglass partition, hand sanitizer (had to reach behind plexiglass to use it - I think they were low on sanitizer and did not encourage people to use it?), pens did not appear to be sanitized between guests, no notice on entry doors about masks required, no comment on how rooms were cleaned, did not sanitize hands between guests, did have grab & go breakfast as all other BWs have. Room was pretty good.

Easy access from I-5. Hotel was clean with friendly staff. Room, decor, breakfast fall solidly into the average category, with no standouts but there were no real negatives either. Would stay here again.

Perfect location! Has everything within 3 minutes! The rooms are updated and spacious! The breakfast is hot and fresh with a variety to choose from! Right on the interstate! Walmart is just across the freeway!

The hotel is located near the freeway but far enough away to not have noise. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Staff is attentive. The breakfast selection was good and staff made sure food was always available.

Employees efficient, helpful and friendly. Rooms clean, USB sockets in room which is a necessity now. Breakfast hot, coffee good. Quiet so able to sleep. Rooms cleaned/straightened out in timely manner.

This was the third time we stayed in this hotel, the customer service is fantastic and the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. Upon arrival the reception staff had all my registration completed and ready for signature. Great place to stay

I have mixed feeling about this place. The room was clean, but it seemed tired. I agree with another reviewer that the towels were puny and should've been retired. Everything needs to be updated, including the lumpy mattress. Funny that I didn't have this impression the last time I stayed here about a year ago. Maybe it was just this particular room. The coffee had a chemical taste that I couldn't stomach but Sbux is just a few steps away. The walls are very thin and I could hear everything going on in the next roomn. On the plus side, parking was not an issue, and the location is convenient. The receptionists were nice and allowed early check in, which was much appreciated after an 8 hour drive. The room rate was $15-20 less than the other hotel, Holiday Inn, that I was also considering. Holiday Inn Express is more updated but you'll have to pay for that. So for me it does boil down to room rate. If they continue offering a much better rate, than I would consider staying here again.

Late at night I hate having find a hotel once off the interstate. This is easy to find, food and fuel close and they have staff that actually does their job. Will change travel plans and make this a new standard from now on.

This was a nice comfortable and quiet room and it was very convenient to the freeway. The pool was closed for the season and we were too busy to try any of the other amenities. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This motel was extremely clean. I was happy to see that. However, I was disappointed at the rest. The towels were small, old and rough. Towels wouldn't even wrap around a regular size person. The most disappointing was the sheets. They were very scratchy and rough. Easy access to highway and right next to Starbucks. I would only stay here on a 1 night basis. Disappointed that it has the Best Western logo on it. More like a motel 6.

Good clean rooms. Excellent breakfast with good variety of foods. Check in and check out were very easy and quick. Hotel staff were courteous and very helpful. Will definitely stay again while on my way between California and Oregon.

Once again myself and friend stayed in 2 bed room and was pleased with the sound quality/reduction, comfort of beds,TV stations, and proximity to attractions and dining. Willd life refuges, Chico, and niche attractions like the Bee display in Orland and the lakes make this a nice area to visit.

The Willow Inn is clean, nicely decorated, and well maintained. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great with a wide variety of items. There are several restaurants nearby and a Starbucks next door. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed my stay at Best Western hotels for the following reasons: budget friendly, courteous staff, hotel includes all the modern amenities such as Wi-Fi. I highly recommend this hotel for business and/or leisure trips as well. Best Western is my number one choice hotel and in my opinion it is the perfect choice for those who like to travel.

Our first time here. Right off of I-5, with lots of places to eat. We found the staff very friendly, and helpful. There was lots of clean well lit parking. The room was very nice, and clean. Perfect road trip place to rest.

Staff were all extremely pleasant, hospitable and professional. My room was exquisitely clean - there was no mineral deposit built up on any of the bathroom fixtures. Refrigerator was cold and clean. I was glad to get a bed which did not have a pillow top! The bed was cool and comfortable, and I enjoyed a restful sleep. The motel was very quiet, too.

There were 5 of us staying 2 nights. We all felt all the staff was helpful, accommodating, & always upbeat! We were all very impressed & pleased with our stay there. The location is handy to restaurants, too.

I rarely do this but i'm writing before I even check out. We've spent 3 nights here, and it's been a great stay. The room is clean and comfortable, breakfast is plentiful, and having Starbucks next door has been helpful as I've been working many hours in the room. But best of all has been the staff. Usually I only need to use the staff at check-in and check-out, but this trip I've needed to ask for a few odd things. Each request has been met with a smile and a helpful response - not just from the front desk, but from housekeeping. Thank you to everyone!

Such a great experience and such a great price. Was a little concerned when booking because the rate was so good....but much to our surprise this Hotel was wonderful ! Clean , spacious and very very nice and comfortable ! A great place to stay. Will definitely be staying here again in the future !

This is not a fancy hotel but it is comfortable. The staff is efficient, friendly and professional. It is a bargain. Location is easy access off the highway. The hotel rooms are quiet and clean. The price is right.

A nice hotel with a free breakfast. The beds are comfortable. The staff friendly and kind. Rooms are outside and you can smell cigarette smoke coming through your closed door from those smoking outside.

We were on our way from Stockton to the Oroville and Chico area for our grandson's graduation from lineman school. We decided to stay in Willows for the night and continue our trip in the morning. We rested well, enjoyed a complimentary breakfast at the BW and left refreshed and happy.

While helping at a disasters recover center in Chico to help wildfire survivors I couldn't find a hotel to stay in. Chico because they were all booked. I choose to stay at willows hotel about an hour away from Chico. To my surprise; it was the most horrific and uncomfortable experience i have had; group of people drinking in front of hotel from time I arrived until midnight. The people made noice; slammed doors; and woke up early again at 3am and made all kinds of noise. Management was very unprofessional and unfriendly. Management didn't care at alll. These people were drinking in front of the hotel with security guard supposedly walking around and never addressing the situation. Leadership lacks professionalism and comoetence. Highly recommend to stay away ..

Bed was uncomfortable and smelled funny. Whole room smelled funky upon arrival. Dog hair on chair by door. Dirt build up all around edges of carpet. Dirty smear under bathroom light switch. Shower worked good. AC was hard to figure out but eventually we did. Room gets very stuffy quickly especially after a shower! Bathroom fan is unsatisfactory. Can't leave a window open because the curtains only open one way so you lose privacy to get fresh air. Parking is cramped. And that tree! We had an appointment the next morning. All ready to go and here our car was completely buried in leaves...Grrrr...Imagine being dressed up and having to remove leaves with your hands in windy rainy conditions instead of getting in your car and driving away. The leaves stayed stuck on our car for 20 miles on the roof. Then left muddy impressions and we have leaves all inside our car and trunk. What a mess!

We stayed at this property on 10/23 and found the entire staff to be very friendly, we were greeted by all staff members with a hello, good morning, or how is your stay. When checking-in, we were asked if we wanted a 1st or 2nd floor. We chose the 2nd and were given 201. This corner unit faces the parking lot and Starbucks next door located in a small strip mall. The hotel is located a short distance from the 5, but our room faced away from it and the noise was minimal. Located within walking distance are numerous restaurants providing a wide variety of options. The room itself was a 2-queen room that was furnished with the standard amenities that are found in this chain. The beds were comfortable and provided a very restful sleep. In addition, the “blackout” curtains worked very good and kept the room dark even into the 8 O'clock hour. The breakfast selections were good and the food decent. A CHP office is located across the street, which provides for a safe feeling. A very good choice if you are staying in Willows.

Traveling through the central valley on I-5, Willows is a small town along the way. This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Large room, friendly staff, and a full breakfast made the stay enjoyable. Well located to restaurants (Starbucks was right next door - always a plus for us).

Location was good while travelling on I 5 easy to get off highway. Very dog friendly, staff awesome, breakfast really good. Room was spotless, comfy bed. We're making this spot our 1st stay on our way home. Thanks BW Willows.

This was the halfway point on the drive back up to Oregon State University to drop my daughter off. The room was super clean, and the mattress was very comfortable. The next morning we were amazed at all of the great breakfast choices offered in the free breakfast. We will use this Best Western on future drives back and forth from Ventura to Oregon.

The hotel was decent, but the management was unresponsive and when they did finally recognize my complaints, they refused to take any corrective action. Front desk employees had no authority to correct problems, but instead told me to e-mail the owner who never responded. Perhaps that is a tactic they use to manage customer requests - it worked in getting me to go away.

I have never felt as welcomed and valued as I did at this Best Western. Highly recommend to anyone. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and no problems with the internet or cable.

Rooms are very spacious and clean, pool area is small but kept up, staff were exceptionally friendly and accomodating. We want to thank Brian who upgraded our room and Patrice who also went the extra mile for us! Only complaints are the outside hallways are noisy and walls are thin, can hear neighbors talking.

This hotel was clean, even to the point of sanitizing the remote. Stayed overnight 6/18/18. Quiet, staff was nice. Breakfast was great, and there was plenty of it. Fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage (link and patty), choice of breads for toast, cereal, fresh fruit and juices.

This hotel was really clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was included in the rate and was excellent. Waffles were good as was the coffee. Reception really helpful.

We stayed here the night after flying into San Francisco heading to Oregon. It is in an excellent location to break the trip, which is presumably why it is there, just off the freeway. It is handy to several restaurants but there's little else to do, Willows is pretty much a highway rest stop! The motel is clean and welcoming with good sized rooms. Breakfast was good, better than some other chain motels we stayed in.

We stayed for 4 nights and generally had a comfortable stay. Bed was good, pillows were terrible, some towels were good and some were very rough. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Staff was helpful and courteous. Pretty quiet given the close proximity to the highway and the busy area. Pool was dirty with a lot of floating bugs and generally not a well kept area. Outside area of motel could use a good power washing.

This is a very nice, safe and clean hotel. The Manager (Rosa) is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location is just off of the I-5 freeway and easy to get to. My stay was comfortable and I found the hotel to be a good value.

Staff nice enough. Room smelled odd, dark coloured carpeting made it feel not clean. Showerhead rating 0 out of 10, no kidding. Bed was firm. Area a bit sketchy with nothing to do. Would not consider returning to this BW when travelling the I-5 next time.

Stopped here with our dogs overnight, wonderful choice. Clean room with nice shower and GREAT towels. Quiet considering it's proximity to the highway. Located near coffee and gas stations. Breakfast was simple but good. When in the area again we will DEFINITELY stay here

Nice clean, friendly motel. I stay here often and always feel at home. Since I'm handicapped, the staff even carries my suitcase into the room and back out to my car for me. Don't change anything, but please paint handicapped parking near the accessible rooms

Love this simple little hotel. Excellent bed, great mattress, clean crisp sheets and cover, very clean, affordable pet friendly. The room has a restful decor, great tv. Breakfast is fine, front desk always courteous. Love the town.

This motel is located in a small town with easy on/off access to I-5. The staff that I interacted with were all kind and very helpful. We ate dinner at the local Mexican restaurant across the street on staff recommendation and it was pretty good. Our room had two queen beds and was a nice size for two people. The motel is a bit older so the room did not have many convenient plug-ins for two people to recharge electronics. Apparently there was a race in town that weekend and a lot of people checked in during the early evening accompanied by some loud talking and laughing. But that calmed down after a while and it was pretty quiet. Rather that using the oversized parking lot right behind the motel, a few people chose to park their vehicles with trailers sideways using up 3 or 4 parking spaces. Which made it difficult to find a parking space close to our room. The room seemed clean until I reached for the nicely-folded hand towel next to the sink to dry my hands and saw that it had a large makeup stain and seemed slightly damp. Ick! The free breakfast was pretty standard although the eating room was a bit small. This place is fine for the price as an overnight stop.

Stayed here the night before and was very pleased with everything. Room was very comfortable, breakfast was good, and it was a short 15 minute drive to Thunderhill. Far enough from major highway that I didn't hear anything. Close to several major gas stations,

Stayed here Feb.10 while visiting Sacramento Wildlife Refuge. Hotel is well kept, rooms are large and very clean. The hotel is right off Hwy 5, next door to a Starbucks, and there's a Black Bear diner close by, so a convenient location .

Comparing motels in Willows, this one is our favorite and is as advertised. Nicely done. The beds are comfortable, the amenities comfortable. All that we like in a motel when on the road. It is easy access to the freeway and walking distance to a number of restaurants. It is the wrong season for an outdoor pool but in hot weather it would be refreshing. Best Western here was a good choice for us.

No roll in shower in my accessable room. Could not use tub. Lounge chair in corner of room had no arms. Not comfortable to use. Curbs in front of the room had no wheelchair access. Had to go completely down to the front lobby to get on the sidewalk!

We stopped here late at night during a trip back from San Jose to central Oregon. Everything was great. Quick check-in, fine and comfortable room. Elevator to get to second floor. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly and professional. Would stop here again.

The hotel presented a good value for the dollar. We choose Best Western as often as possible because it's a brand we trust. This hotel maintains that standard. Not fancy but good value for what you pay. On the next trip down that way, we will stay there again.

A group of us were returning from a birding trip to Klamath Falls, OR and stopped to take in the Sacramento National Wild Life Refuge. The hotel was very convenient and the rooms clean and spacious. We really appreciated the hot breakfast which helped to get us on the road faster. With all our gear the elevator was a great help.

Great stay. Clean rooms and staff was SO friendly. Breakfast was awesome, large variety to choose from. We tow a large fifth wheel and staff guaranteed us on the phone that we would have no problems with the parking. Plenty of parking. Really glad we stayed at this location

I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff was excellent, room was clean, and their was a full breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and the room was relatively quiet. All in all, a very enjoyable stay and I will stay here again if I am in the area.

Traveling with a group, I checked in, got my room key and walked around to the ground floor room, but could not make either key work. Back to the front desk where I waited in line for new keys. With my luggage I walked back to the room door and tried again. When the door did not open, I began to worry that I was doing something wrong, but no matter which way I inserted the key, the door did not open. Back to the front desk; this time the clerk jumped me to the front of the line and gave me keys to a different room. Success! I quickly got ready to leave for the group dinner,put the keys into my back pocket, and hoped I could get back into the room when I returned. I had no further problems with room keys, but the manager said the next morning that their system can be finicky when a cold wind is blowing. Next time that happens, I'll try rubbing the keys with my hands to warm them and then try the door again. Once I got into the room, it was fine, the bad was very comfortable, and I had a pleasant stay at the Best Western in Willows.

We stayed at the Best Western Willows Inn for 1 night on our way down south. The outside decor was much like you would find most motels. The area surrounding was in need of litter clean up - most of it coming from other businesses that surround the motel. Our door key would not work and after getting it re-keyed 2x we realized that the door handle was broken, and we had to lift the handle in order for the key to work. The repairman would replace it but it would happen the next day, and we were leaving , so we said not to worry and we could live with that. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the motel was close to several fast food places.

We stayed here one night, large group of us in four rooms. We liked the place. there was a bit of a mix upon the reservation,but we did get there in early afternoon, so it all got sorted out.i think that is the secret, so much is computerized these days and if you want to be sure of a reservation, no matter how secure you think a reservation is;arrive early and have your confirmation info n hand. We stayed on the north side,it was quiet and well cared for.Best Western is a chain, but this one was clean and comfortable.

Enjoyable stay at this pet friendly hotel. A small fee but worth it. It's hard to find ,but Best Western has many if you research them. This hotel had an elevator to the second floor so it was an easy transition for baggage and pet carrier. Patrice at the front desk was very courteous and helpful while we unloaded and offered to watch our pet as we unloaded. We would stay here again as we fly south, if traveling along I-5 in California.

My wife and I always stay here (after trying other hotels) when we visit the Sacramento National Wildlife Preserve. This is an annual pilgramage for us. Nice hotel, nice service and great location with good restaurants nearby.

Great desk and housekeeping staff, clean quiet with excellent rooms. Breakfast was pleasant with a nice variety. The free wifi was fast enough and reliable. The rooms are freshly redecorated and very comfortable.

Nice rooms, nothing special. Beds were comfortable. I had one dirty pillow. I just tossed it aside everything else was very clean. There are a lot of nearby restaurants. The staff was extremly nice. I would stay there again.

Much of the items listed were based upon our disappointment as compared to other facilities. We had Loud fan tied to bathroom light needed for night light in strange room. So we unscrewed 2 over sink lights to accommodate that problem & draped used small towel to dim that one remaining. We were very disappointed. This hotel is far below in value as compared to others we stayed at in the BWfamily.

Arrived at night and the hotel was nearly full. Had neighboring people hanging out outside smoking, drinking, have laughs. Got into the room and the room was dirty. Old food in refrigerator, mud (I pray!) on the interior bathroom door and across the wall. Old coffee in the coffee maker. One of the two beds was dirty/sheets dirty. The staff was AMAZING though! Very kind! Really and sincerely apologized for the room when I checked out the next morning. Overall the room & hotel were not good, noisy, dirty, etc... but the young ladies at the desk at checkin & checkout really did a wonderful job!! They need praise for sure! :)

Quick stop for some shut-eye before getting back on the road. Didn't stay long enough to really give a fair review. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Lobby and breakfast area are small; would benefit from upgrading these areas.

The location was perfect for our drive. The room met all the BW standards (we always stay at BW's if possible) and the only disappointment was the lack of table and 2 chairs for eating while watching tv.. We would return.

No problems here, got a good night's sleep, bed was comfy, pillows could be a little better, slightly lumpy but doable. Good location, my room was quiet, employees were helpful and pleasant. I will stay here again during my travels in CA

Our experience with Best Western hotels has been mixed at best. We have stayed at some great places; we have stayed at some we would prefer not to return to. We had stayed at this particular Best Western in Willows one time previously and did not have such bad memories that we were not willing to stay once more because it cost $25 less per night than our preferred Willows Hotel, the Holiday Inn Express. As far as accommodations are concerned, it offers the basics. You get a bed (you have to pay more if you want two beds rather than one in the same room), a bathroom, a TV, a refrigerator, and a microwave. All fairly standard. The electrical outlets are limited and are placed in such odd places that it is very difficult to use them. There were two of us, but there was only one washcloth in the bathroom. The two bath towels that were in the bathroom were very sloppily folded made us wonder if they might have possibly been used by a previous guest. The TV viewing chair had no arms on it, which made it somewhat less comfortable to relax in. The bed covers were very lightweight and not particularly warm. Breakfast was unappetizing. The sausage and bacon that were served were completely swimming in grease - I took a photo of it, it was so disgusting. There were no plastic knives available - just forks and spoons. I finally went to the front desk to ask for a knife and found the kitchen staff just chatting casually with the front desk clerk. The kitchen attendant finally went to the breakfast area and found that she had to open a new box of knives - too much work apparently to do it when she was setting up. The trash container was overflowing to the point where guests could not fit in additional trash. We will not return. We would prefer to pay more at the Holiday Inn Express than stay here again.

The price is decent but the motel--which was renovated a few years back--seems a bit tired. I have slept in more comfortable beds in my life. But if you just need a place to sleep, have a decent breakfast, and be on your way, this place works.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Best Western Willows Inn! The property is well-kept, the ammenities are more than expected, and the staff is truly exceptional! I was travelling across country with a large moving truck and the staff at check-in did more than expected to help insure that my belongings were safe and secure, and that I enjoyed a restful night followed by a complete breakfast. I highly recommend this property for your lodging needs.

Our room was very clean however the smell of cigarette smoke permiated everything in the room. This was the only drawback. The bed was very comfortable and the morning breakfast was decent. The staff very pleasant.

Our group spent the night in preparation of a tradition opening day Dove hunt. Being a Best Western member, we found our stay rewarding. Great service making the reservation and upon arriving for our stay. Staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Great rooms, extremely clean, wonderful beds and good rates. This is a very nice facility and will return, when back in the area.

This is a drive up to your door style motel Clean and the AC worked great it was 103 out and we had to turn the AC down....A starbucks right next door a big plus for many people Chineese restaurant across the street I would stay her again altho they could add a lot more to their breakfast selection

The beds were the best part of this hotel room. The hotel was booked full due to the Eclipse travelers and wildfire crews, but everything went well for us. The breakfast was sufficient (cereal, bagels, yogurt, DIY waffles, etc.). The in room fridge/freezer was also helpful for refreezing our ice packs, so that was a nice bonus!

Excellent staff, clean accommodations, fairly priced, excellent breakfast, quiet, Always ask for the best price and they will work with you. There are plenty of places eat in such a Littleton. Walmart 1 min away. We will be staying here again during hunting season.

Willows, California is honored to have such an outstanding establishment as the BW Willows Inn. After more than 900 + miles of motorcycle touring in three states on the west coast of the United States, it was ralaxing and refreshing to spend the evening recovering from road fatigue. When I checked in the Concierge person was wonderful, understanding. Everything was close to everything and it has a pool to cool off. The only thing that I wasn't too please was the water pressure. I stayed in room 217 (nice corner room) No neighbors around you excepted room 216. Aside from that room. amenities were great, staff was great, great air condition in the room. Free wi-fi, free parking, free breakfast. YOU can't go wrong with this Best Western at Willows, CA

I would would recommend this hotel for sure! Our stay was good! Good location. We were able to get a room same evening. Cereal was marked wrong. No major complaints. Satisfied. Kids were happy that there was a pool.

My stay was very good. If I had one bad thing to say is this hotel uses low flow shower heads. I am sure that is a city/state requirement, but still I hate these things. Rosa was so sweet to allow me to check in early after a long flight.

Great hotel and prime location. It's right off the 5 freeway and is very conveniently located near CHP, gas stations, multiple fast food restaurants and there's a Starbucks just a short walk across the parking lot. We received fast, friendly service both in the evening at check in and the following morning as we made our way to the complimentary breakfast. This is a pet friendly establishment. No pets allowed on beds! They offer pet blankets to make up for the bed rule. Breakfast was the standard however they offer Almond milk for vegans and people living with allergies. They also have dairy free cereal which is available upon request. It was nice to have another option aside from fruit for breakfast for a change. The rooms was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was also very nice. Overall I'm very happy about my first stay at a Best Western. Great place to stay especially if traveling with pets.

My family and I stayed here for less than 12 hours and the next day we got a $150 charge for smoking(as I just saw someone else had as well). Ummm, hello I was 5 months pregnant and my 2 year old were in the room the whole time. I've never smoked a day in my life. Customer service said it was our word over the staff and of course how do we prove it was a lie? Total scam for a sad hotel. We will avoid Best Western when possible. You stole money from my kids. I'd be embarrassed if I worked or owned any part of the property.

Clean hotel, friendly staff, has A washer & dryer and is right off the I-5 freeway!! The air conditioning needs to be turned on when a room is reserved to accommodate for the heat in the area. Other than that a great experience for our needs.

Very comfortable room. With two small exceptions (shower water pressure and no place other than a trash filled dry straw field for the dogs to do their business) it was a great stay. I travelled with two goldendoodles and it was pretty quiet so they did not bark at noises. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean. Check in was a breeze and the ice machine was full! Very nice room and I will come back if in the area

Multiple dead bugs on the bathroom floor upon our arrival. As well as used shampoo containers left in the shower. Breakfast is always nice to have offered, especially when traveling with children. And the pool was a refreshing break in the 105 dregree weather.

While driving home to AZ from the OR coast we had run into heavy traffic and road conditions that made for a VERY LONG day. Although we had planned to make it south of Sacramento we decided to stop earlier and try the first place we came to. When I explained our situation and asked if they had anything for just the one night the front desk person went out of her way to make sure we got the best rate possible, checked to make sure the room was ready for us and even turned the AC to 66 to cool it down (the Outside temps were well over the 105 mark that afternoon).

I wasn't expecting much when I stopped at a blip on the map of my road trip, but I was pleasantly surprised. Cleanliness with a sparkling bathroom, a full freshly cooked breakfast buffet, and many other amenities met me in Willows, CA. I also had many choices for dinner in this little town, and the advice of the desk clerk helped me decide. The price tag was $20 less than my previous stop an hour south of Sacramento, as well. I will definitely stay here again!

Hotel has easy on and off of Interstate. Has an elevator. No rooms were available on the 1st floor. We had a problem with the sink leaking water on the floor. Staff provided towels to put on the floor and discounted the room a token amount. Noticed some mold around the top of the bathtub edge. Some trash was left on the floor near the wastebasket. Otherwise the room was nice and quiet. Breakfast was good with ample space to eat.

We have stayed at this location 2 or 3 times now. We also tried the Holiday Inn Express next door...overall, this property is a better choice because the beds are comfortable, but they really need to work on their breakfast. It is by far the worst breakfast we have every had, almost inedible...why even offer something if it's not worthwhile? Just stop offering breakfast and drop the price by $20 and we will go to a restaurant where we can get something good. HIE offers an awesome breakfast, but their beds aren't comfortable...they have a nicer property with a better breakfast and they also charge more. Sorry, but when the bacon and sausage are floating in water and taste like they've been sitting in water and even the waffles aren't any good, it's time to do something! So your choices are: Comfy bed...stay at this hotel...good breakfast and not so comfortable bed...stay at HIE next door.

In the growing town of Willows is a hidden gem. Great location and close to food, gas and shopping. I happened to stop there last year and again this year. Office staff is incredibly helpful and really pleasant. It is now a regular lodging choice while traveling up and down I-5. I highly recommend if you are traveling with dogs. Adjacent to large lot - great for large vehicles and walking your dog.

The place was very clean and the staff was very friendly but most of all the bed was the firmest hotel bed i have slept in, in many years. Most hotels don't change the mattresses often enough. They are also pet friendly and we usually have our lab with us. They gave us two large treats for our pet and made the whole family feel welcome.

What a pleasant surprise !!! We have stayed at many hotels we do travel a bit (we love road trips) but this hotel happened to be half way between our home and where we were visiting. First time we have stayed in Willow, wont be the last !! Thank you for the very comfortable and relaxing stay.

Quiet small town with hotel right off interstate. Still though rooms were quiet and clean. Didn't care to climb the stairs with elevator at lobby too far from my room. Good value for quality. Bed ok. No back ache in morning. Pillows were plentiful if not lumpy. But clean!

Stayed at the Best Western Willows Inn on a hunting trip to the valley for ducks. Great place because you can park right outside your door and don't have to walk down halls to your room which I find easier to load and unload your baggage and other gear. Room was very clean and neat, floors vacuumed and toilets clean. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The room had a small refrigerator and microwave which was nice. They asked what time we would be up in the morning so they could start the continental breakfast early to accommodate us. Staff was friendly and nice. About all you could ask for in Willows so I give it 4 stars.

Best Western Hotel is definitely one of the better hotels in the small town of Willows, compared to the other options available. The only other above-average hotel there is the Holiday Inn hotel, adjacent to Best Western hotel, Starbucks, and Subway. It is far too overpriced though, and even people with money who can afford it, would not always be willing to spend nearly $135.00-154.00 just for an overnight stay, or even nearly $300 just for a two night stay. If you truly want to save a few extra dollars, while still getting quality service, however, Best Western is a great hotel option. The rooms are clean, beds and pillows are comfortable, heating and air conditioning unit is quiet but effective, and staff are professional. The only reason I am giving BW just three stars, however, is because of the white, see-through window curtains, which results in sunlight entering the room during daylight hours. This is not good for people who prefer a darkened room to sleep, surf the web, or watch TV in. Privacy is also another issue too. While people cannot see inside when the room is dark enough, turning on too many lamp lights will result in a certain degree of transparency, allowing people to see into the room. I tested this for myself, and my friend standing with me also noticed the same thing as well. The curtains need to be changed, but other than that, all else is great. I recommend a darker shade of curtains--such as black or blue--but the hotel decides to keep white curtains, there should be an additional curtain drapes that people can draw together for increased privacy.

The Best Western Willows Inn was the closest hotel we could find for a busy weekend in Chico... It was about 40 minutes from Chico State... we were greeted by Patrice who was very nice and accommodating! The hotel was clean, comfortable and well priced for our family weekend in Chico. If we are ever in need of a hotel room near Chico or in Willows, we will happily book the BW Willows Inn. Thank you!

We stayed in this hotel just right off highway 5. Even it's close to highway, it's very quiet even in the night. Our room is clean and bed is comfortable. Breakfast has plenty varieties. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. There are some things need to improve. Their internet connection is not stable. The night before worked fine and next day not working at all. The wall is too thin. We can hear people talking through the wall. In general, we like this hotel and intend to stay here again if we ever visited this area again.

We stayed at Best Western Willows Inn, Willows for one night. This hotel is right off highway 5. Even it's so close to a busy highway but it's very quiet in the night. We like everything here but the internet connection. It's not stable. The night before was ok but next morning not working. The noise from next room is very clear. We can hear people talking from next door. Their insulation should be better. It's a nice hotel in general

Cat friendly, air conditioning was working well also the Internet. Could have asked for more pillows, probably will next time. Bed was comfortable, would have liked not to hear neighbors next door as I'm sure they would have liked also; we both had colds and coughing all nite!

We stayed at the Willows Best Western for a few hours of sleep. From the online photos, I didn't realize it was a motor inn with outdoor entrances to the rooms. We were on the first floor with an entrance and window off of the parking lot. There was a vending machine near our room. Whenever the air conditioner wasn't running, we could hear people outside our room. There were loud engines as well as people arguing near the vending machines. Our room was accessible with very low hanging rods for shorter people to reach and a lot of rails in the bathroom. Our toilet had a split seat. I actually got skin pinched under the seat because the attachment allowed the seat to move while you are seated. My husband let the front desk know. The bath ceiling had a cobweb and there was a strange drip stain down the wall starting near the ceiling. Also, there didn't seem to be a temp limiter on the shower with the hottest temp being scalding hot. In the accessible room, opening the bathroom door will hit anyone standing at the sink. The door is necessarily wide for wheelchair access. The room had a deodorizer smell and I sneezed quite a bit - possibly from the perfume smell which often triggers my allergies. Breakfast closed at 9:30 and we went to breakfast at 9:35. The employee cleaning the breakfast room offered to turn the waffle machine back on and said to enjoy the food before she put it all away. She was very accommodating and we appreciated it. While in the breakfast room, weird doorbell beeping kept sounding from the lobby area. The hotel was entirely full on Friday night and we saw guests turned away when we checked in.

This is a relatively "budget" style motel with open outdoor walkways to the rooms rather than a carpeted interior corridor. Still, the rooms were nicely furnished, new and clean. It was very comfortable. Highly recommended for an overnight while traveling the I-5. Lots of restaurants and services near by and close to the highway.

This was a nice hotel,convenient location right off the I5 in mid California. , There were friendly and helpful staff. The beds were clean and comfortable and the breakfast adequate. We would stay there again.

Concerned about clean sheets. They said the maid was new but the fact that she lied about her instructions being that I was staying over another night. Does not excuse what happened since obviously the paper she had did not say that

Very nice room and pleasant staff. We traveled up to Orland, CA to secure our bee packages and queens this year. Olivarez Honey Bee Hobby Day. This was a wonderful, clean and comfortable place to stay after a 9 hour drive. Thank you BW!!

This hotel feels new and clean. We liked our room but it felt small. Perhaps one should get a room with two beds in it, if it is, indeed, bigger. This is a hotel with outside entrances to the rooms...a great plus if you get a room right outside your door on the first floor...easy to load and unload! The hot continental breakfast was good...they had sausages and tater tots, along with a waffle machine.

If you want to experience 5 star service, stay at the Best Western, Willows. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff is phenomenal and the food is good. We have stayed there several times and have always experienced top quality setvice. Doesn't get any better.

This hotel was great for a road trip overnight stay, as it is in a good location close to restaurants. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the pool is outdoors in the back but was not open in April. Good value

We drove from Pacific Northwest to Arizona and back, after a wonderful vacation in Tucson an Peoria. Our stays at Best Western facilities added to and made our vacation even more spectacular. Thank you Best Western

Very nice property. The lobby was extremely clean as was our pet-friendly room. I would stay here again. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Starbucks is next door as is Subway. I can't rate the breakfast as we skipped it.

Another motel I had booked turned out to be not pet friendly, and after a call to Best Western to find other accommodations they called Patrice (?) at Willows Inn. She was very accommodating and worked with me to get an accessible bathroom room. Very nice room, but the layout is a little awkward. When opened, the door to the bathroom blocks the vanity. Bath towels not as large as at some Best Westerns. Somewhat noisy. I could hear an alarm clock go off and the person in the room above walking. I could also hear people outside passing by.

Opened the door, king bed, jacuzzi bath tub, modern styling and amenities, and it screams "clean." For a motel - this is outstanding. Unless I opened my door I could not hear other guests. In addition to the large bath tub, there was also a shower stall at the end of the toilet room. The low low toilet seat height was one drawback, but all in all a great location and experience!

This hotel provides clean, decent accommodations without pretending to be "Plus", or "Premier" or luxurious; consequently, it is affordable for the average traveler. The staff is welcoming, and very helpful and kind with check in and checkouts. I wish more BW were like this....too many of them charge exorbitant rates for amenities such as cookies at 5 o'clock and such that the average traveler simply doesn't need.

I stayed at this location for a business trip. I was a little surprised to find the hotel had exterior doors. Usually I do not like this as it makes me feel unsafe. This town however, is very small and the CHP office is directly across the road. Safety covered! The hotel staff were very pleasant, and accommodating. The room itself is clean and simple. The TV worked fine, the bathroom was clean; nice size mini fridge, microwave and a simple coffee maker. No frills hotel but it did the trick for one night. Tends to be loud traffic noise after about 6 a.m.

The hotel staff was polite and friendly. The room was clean. We were given a room with a jacuzzi tub which we were quite pleased with. The only drawback with the jacuzzi was that it took almost an hour to fill the tub with water, due to very low flow rate from the faucet. The breakfast was a typical BW breakfast with typical breakfast items. Food was adequate, eggs, sausage, bacon, waffle, etc. The hotel was located conveniently close to Interstate 5. Also my wife was pleased that there was a Starbucks next to the hotel.

Management was preoccupied, confused. Two people were supplied with 1 towel and no shower curtain. Towel was later provided but when management was informed there was no shower curtain, they said OK. Management called to apologize for noise, there was no noise (or complaint about noise)

Had a nice stay here, got in late and got a good deal on the room. It's conveniently located near the freeway, Starbucks is next door along with AAA and Subway. The Dollar Store is across the street and so is the California Highway Patrol. The continental breakfast was good, make your own waffle, also eggs, tater tots, bacon and sausage links. Cereal, yogurt, toppings for yogurt or waffle, muffins, bagels, bread, a good assortment and plenty of food still available at 9:15. The breakfast hours ended at 9:30. Staff was nice and friendly, no matter who you encountered. Just a short stay to sleep, got in about 11:00 pm, they had a room and a deal. There's also an outdoor pool, didn't visit it, but there is a swimming pool. Parking near the room too was nice.

We chose this motel for a overnight while traveling on I-5. Typical old-style hotel with outside entrances. Small room, but clean. Friendly staff, clean small pool, good breakfast. Walmart and fastfood around,but not much else. Easy on/off the highway

Very very nice; Ample parking, compfy beds and tasty breakfast. There was some mix up with our reservation but the desk clerk was very helpful and was able to put us in a very large room with two queen beds. Our brief stay was most enjoyable

After a long drive and going through the National Wild Life Reserve I was pleased with the way I was greeted. My room was very clean and nicely kept. The Breakfast was very good and I liked the presentation. On Check-out they gave me the Idea of stopping by the Trinity Dam area and I saw the Kennedy Monument the had there. That was a special played to stop.

this was a ok stay staff was help full keys didn't work for the first room they gave us and had to change rooms then those keys didn't work at first. the gal at the front desk kept trying to keys to work and finally did. Thanks . the Breakfast was average the waffle iron had stuck on waffle and I had to scrape off and then my waffle stuck they didn't have the oil spray available like in other BW

We stayed here on our way home from the Oregon coast to SoCal. The room was very clean. The bed was super comfy. The towels were nice, not the thin cheap hotel towels. The breakfast was just okay. Nothing out of the ordinary. It would have been nice to have some fruit. The neighborhood was iffy. Not certain I'd walk around after dark. But okay during the day. There are fast food places within walking distance. Employees were friendly and all seemed happy.

this hotel was right off the freeway place for dinner near by. free breakfeast. quite clean confortable in room fridge and micowave nice soft towels comfortable bed about 10.00 to much for the location in ca. pleasent personal easy check in. i will stay again.

We stayed at Willows Best Western again and it never fails to be a good choice. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we got the proper rate and a room where the hot sun was not coming in the window. Hotel is really pet friendly, not just pretending to be, like some hotels. Room was comfortable and clean. Rate was reasonable, as was the pet fee. We always try to make our stop there on the way to visit family in California

Just had a three day stay because of a wild fire were I live , most important to me the place is very clean then people working there are very nice I would give four stars just for that but this Best Western has a great Breakfast buffet that pushed it for me to five stars. For a three day stay was 341.57, which was to high the rate was 84.99 + 10.20 but for the second and third night I was charge 109.99 +13.20 each night I called and was told that the over charge will be refunded so do check your bill be-four you leave

I was on a solo road trip on my way home from visiting a friend in Oregon. It was about 9:00pm and I was hungry and ready to get off the road. Wasn't expecting much but I chose the place because I could see my car from the room (as opposed to the "Suites" type hotel next door.) From the moment I pulled up the experience was super-positive. The night manager greeted me like I was family, and was a helpful and friendly as could be. I'm a veteran and a senior so she gave me a good deal (this was the least expensive, but by far the best place I stayed on this whole road trip!) The room was spacious and clean, had HBO, and the most comfortable bed I've slept in in recent memory (I'll be calling them back to see what kind of mattress it was :) The A/C was quiet and the room stayed dark as I slept in in the morning. Like the other reviewer said, I can't say enough good about this place.

This was one of the best Best Westerns we've ever stayed at! The lobby was very clean, inviting and well appointed. Rosa (the manager) was absolutely wonderful-so welcoming, helpful & friendly. The room itself was a little on the small side, but that was a very minor thing. Breakfast was very good, there seemed to be more choices than the usual hotel breakfast. Overall, this hotel is a great value and I would highly recommend staying here. Kudos to the whole staff!!

Great location and great BW. Hotel is just off of I-5 and there's plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. This is also a great mid-way point between Washington and Southern California. We'll be staying here again on our trips south.

Stayed here with my two kids (12, 10) on our way to Oregon. Computer was down at checkin but the desk person handled it like a pro. Beds very comfortable. The AC has a thermostat so it isn't running all the time in the background. Breakfast area clean and items filling. Even had little Nutella packets. Overall, great little hotel.

The staff was helpful and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and clean. They gave me a military discount. A full breakfast was provided including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles and assorted cereals, breads and fruit. It was very good. If I may make a suggestion, the warmers under the eggs and potatoes could be a little warmer

Convenient, cozy little motel. Beds are comfy and the staff is super accommodating. Pool is small but clean. Rooms are newly remodeled, beds are comfy and breakfast is awesome. Have stayed here a few times, and so far, nothing to complain about.

Excellent "along the freeway" kind of motel. Not a destination place, unless your vacation plans call for being close to Walmart. Good WiFi, lots of HD TV channels, fairly quiet (it's the valley, so the a/c is going to on anyway). Fairly small room, but everything was clean and worked well. Lots of nice breakfast items to get you back on the highway in the morning. I'd stay again.

Great stopping off hotel , pool is small but rooms are great , beds are super comfortable and the hotel is quiet . We would definitely stop again . Did not get to try the breakfast , we slept in . Really enjoyed this hotel

I have to say of all the Best Western Hotels I have stayed at in the breakfast choices were Awesome! I still Love staying at the Best Western Hotels they are my only choice to stay for the great rooms, prices and the hot breakfast.

My wife and I drove up to willows California to see my granddaughter we stayed at best western which is just across the street from my granddaughter is living very convenient. we do recommend this hotel.some of the restaurants are within walking distance.

Nice for a Super 8. However, the doors in the newly renovated rooms look and sound like they close, but they only require a push and they open. Both days when I returned to the motel I found the door unsecured. I told the woman at the desk and got a"sorry, but the new fire doors are very heavy." They need to teach their employees to pull on the door and make sure it latches.

This hotel has been recently updated. Rooms are clean & spacious. The beds are comfortable & there are plenty of nearby restaurants. The front desk staff is very friendly. We enjoyed our stay & will stay again.

This is a typical older but maintained motel. Our room had an issue with the toilet leaking and flooding the floor which we reported and they were prompt in attending to with extra towels for the night.. It has exterior entrances, two story with elevator or stairs. It is clean, and the staff is courteous and friendly. Accepts dogs. Close to the freeway so there is some noise but overall a good night sleep on good beds. On site coin laundry and business center room. Breakfast is the typical limited hot food, waffles, eggs, meat or cereal, yogurt, etc.

We were given a room with a jacuzzi tub but didn't get a chance to use it. Maybe next time. Hotel was conveniently located close to the highway and restaurants. Room was very nice with a comfortable bed and pillows. We have a restful sleep and then enjoyed the breakfast provided. Definitely will stay there again. Reception staff efficient, friendly and helpful

I enjoy coming to this property. Rooms are rooms, updated furniture, comfy beds and close to restaurant to walk. I was able to utilize great truck and trailer parking. Employees were tremendous and very courteous.

Nice property, check in was fast and friendly Rosa was very helpful. If your on the grand floor you can park by the door(which I like very much). Close to the interstate but minimum noise. Also walking distance to dinner choices.

This was a very good motel. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the room was to. It was quiet. There is a Starbucks right next door. Close to decent places to eat, and fuel. I will stay there again.

While we aren not part of the primary demographic for this BW, lots of work crews and long-haul trucks in parking lot, and the room we had reflected this. The staff was accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was also quiet in the room and we slept very well.

Nice hotel - clean, breakfast was good and worth while as 3 of us where in the room, eliminating the need to go to a restaurant for breakfast. Could have got a room closer to the university and may rethink staying here next time. But, overall the hotel and room were nice and a good value for the money.

This is a very nice hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The other plus is there is a Black Bear Diner within walking distance of the hotel. It has excellent food! We'd stay here again when in the area.

We travel to southern California and always plan our stop here. We lived in Willows for many years and enjoy the people and area. This hotel has never let us down. I reccomend this as the BEST Best Western we have stayed in.

Small clean rooms make this a stereotypical Best Western. Right off I-5 so expect the hum of the freeway. Dry thin aged towels were the only drawback to an otherwise nicely furnished room. The staff was courteous and efficient. I'd stay again.

The rooms are clean and staff members are very nice. Starbucks is right next door for your early morning fix. Breakfast in the morning is ok. The hotel is right next to the I-5 freeway going north so it makes it ideal for anyone traveling north.

The room was larger than usual. We stopped when we were quite tired, late at night. We were comfortable, breakfast was better than usual, and price was alright. We would gladly stay there again if we were near the area.

Pleasantly surprised by this Best Western. The rooms are newly renovated and well kept. Staff was very friendly and attentive. I truly felt welcomed at this establishment. Good place to stay for a stopover.

Even though a large bus of travelers came to the hotel, it was quiet overnight. I had driven all day from Southern CA and I appreciated the clean room and peacefulness of the hotel. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful too.

We stayed one night at this hotel and when we got home saw a charge for $150 US on our Visa for the smell of smoke in the room. We have never smoked but when you check in you sign the registration that you will not damage the room or your credit card will be charged. We therefore had no recourse other than the many phone calls and letters we have written to protest this wrongful charge. Our fight is still ongoing, but the warning is to have the front desk check your room with you before you depart or pay cash so a false charge cannot be applied to your credit card. This scam could be used by any hotel but we will never again stay at a Best Western as they were so unsupportive of our innocence.

The amenities were filthy; some leftover Coke was sitting in the fridge. The cups on the sink were partially clean, partially dirty... Bathtub was also dirty. We didn't even bother putting our kids in there for their bath. Filthy place overall!

For many years, I've traveled to the Central Valley of Northern California to go bird-watching. For some reason, I never stayed in Willows. This time, I went with a group of friends, one of whom organized the trip and selected this motel. Coincidentally, when I plan a trip in the U.S., Best Western is my chain of choice. I have never been disappointed, and the same was true here. The staff was friendly and helpful. When we checked in, they gave us rooms in the same wing, which we really appreciated. The room was spacious and clean, the bed cozy and comfortable. The standard breakfast is included in the price. A big plus is the Starbucks right next door, which opens very early. This will be my new go-to motel in the area.

The room was quiet with no highway noise, in spite of being located next to Interstate 5. Parking was directly across from room with well lit building and parking lot. Starbucks immediately next door and several restaurants and stores nearby. The room was clean with fresh paint and had been updated. A king bed room costs $10 additional and includes a desk, easy chair with ottoman, refrig and large TV. We enjoyed the firm bed, but the loose mattress protector bunched up under me by morning. We each had two thick pillows, but would have liked a thinner pillow to choose from. The thermostat setting seemed off, 63 degrees turned out to be a comfortable setting for us. The continental breakfast had an average selection with only fair scrambled eggs, and the eating area was comfortable.

We had a perfect stay and especially pleased by staff offer to make breakfast early for our early departure. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Staff was friendly and thoughtful. We will return to this Best Western in the future.

Spent two nights. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Plenty of towels. The TV was able to access more channels than I have at home, more actually than any hotel I've ever seen. Nice plus there! The breakfast was excellent with eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, etc. And a Starbucks was directly next door a one minute walk. The front desk mentioned that the entire hotel had recently had a total renovation. I'd stay here again.

Very good place to stay when visiting Thunderhill Raceway. The breakfast offerings are good. Elevator provided for second floor. Parking for large vehicles and trailers convenient. Security appears to be good. Easy access from I-5, but fairly quiet.

First time at this facility and we were pleasantly surprised by the staff and our room. We were attending a race at Thunderhill Raceway and had choices of several different hotel/motel chains and got a good better rate with Best Western than the others and are happy we had to opportunity to stay at this location.

This is our third stay here and we appreciate all the upgrades that we've seen in that time. They were putting in new mattresses this time. The staff has always been friendly and very helpful. We also like that we can walk across the street to Wong's and get a good dinner and not have to get in the car again after a long day's drive. Starbucks is next door for those interested. This is a great value for the price.

very easy to reserve and check in and out , clean rooms and lobby, nice pool, good price, easy access to I 5. We attended Family Weekend at Chico State - this was easy and cheaper to use than Chico motels.

Right off freeway and good breakfast. Next to Starbucks that opens at 5 am for coffee as room coffee pot is tiny. Very comfy bed and room was clean. Staff, Rosa, friendly and helpful. Good AC as hot weather. Good empty lot to walk dog.

Willows Best Western was perfect for our visit to the wildlife refuges in the area. Rosa greeted us and gave us the room type we wanted, high and quiet, even though we were traveling with our pet. The room was clean and nicely appointed. We would have used the pool if we had had time. Rosa was working the afternoon we checked in, and the next day, and did everything she could to make our stay, and that of other guests, comfortable and enjoyable. She allowed us a 1 hour late checkout at our request.The rate was reasonable, and breakfast convenient. We will stay again. This is how we want to be treated as travelers with a pet. some other Best Westerns should take a lesson.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. We had a room on the first floor, but there is an elevator for the second floor. Front desk help is friendly and efficient. Breakfast is okay, but not the best. All in all, a good experience.

We stayed here for one night on our way to the farm sanctuary in Orland California. It is right off the freeway. Check-in was easy, our room was very clean, beds very comfortable and breakfast was standard best Western. We took a swim in the small pool located in the parking lot behind the building. It was clean and we were the only ones there which was nice. There was noise from the motel next door at night. A group of men standing around their truck talking kept me awake. There's nothing that best western could've done about this but I would request a room on the other side of the building next time. The standout thing about this stay was how warm and friendly the women at the front desk were. I probably would stay here again.

good location for Thunderhill raceway clean and convenient. 15 minutes away from the track. Some fast food chains around the corner. Gas stations, a wallmart and a car repair shop for emergencies. Nothing more to add.

The room was nicely appointed and had all the amenities I enjoy, but there was a half eaten pizza (from the previous people who had the room) not seen by housekeeping, so the room smelled. The remote was filthy and I wouldn't touch it. Other than that and quite a bit of motorcycle noise outside, it was fine.

Cleanest and best maintained hotel ever! Who knew you could find such a great hotel in a small town named Willows, California. Couldn't find a fault with it if I had to. Really hated to leave, and look forward to going back someday. Too bad I was only passng through this time. Wish my stay had been for a week. Can't get over the fact that every square inch was immaculate, and excellent TV service was provided. Hotel TV service is usually iffy at best, but this service was superb. The hotel and staff take much pride in their property and it shines through.
