"Great Experience!"
Michelle H, 19 Mars 2024

We were in a bind due to a previous booking at another close by property that didn't work out, so Best Western in Wickenburg, AZ. was very accomodating. Excellent staff & continental breakfast! Room was clean & had a fridge & microwave. Location was perfect! The only downsides were the extremely high price for 1 night, and a very large gap underneath the door of our room but we just put a towel down to keep any potential critters out. But I would recommend this property otherwise.

"Rain in our Room"
Bill B, 18 Mars 2024

Our guest room roof leaked when it rained overnight, creating a less than restful night with loud dripping sounds on the carpet. When asked the next morning if they were aware of the leak, the front desk confirmed they were and would mention it again to the property owner. Excusable to have an issue, inexcusable to knowingly house us in a room they property knew to be a problem, and offer no remediation of any kind. A very disappointing stay to say the least.

"UNHAPPY with SERVICE"
237jessic, 25 Février 2024

I booked through Priceline I chose the pay later option. My daughter ended up sick with Covid. I called Priceline to cancel and was told I had to call the hotel to cancel and let me know I wasn't charged. I called the hotel and talked with a lady. She told me she would check if it was okay with manager if I can cancel and NOT be charged. She called me back to let me know that I WOULDN'T be charged and could cancel per her manager. I happened to check my account a couple hours later and noticed the FULL charge for the reservation. I called back and spoke with the same lady she said that her manager said he made a mistake and has to charge me due to it being peak season and she thought she already had the room reserved. I reminded her that she told me I wouldn't be charged, she said sorry she looked at the wrong date and she made a mistake. I understand people make mistakes but I was told NO charge. I talked with the manager who stated he was the "owner" he was VERY rude I even heard him saying "damn it kendra!!!!" He kept telling me booking.com already charged him which was FALSE I talked with booking.com and they NEVER charged Best Western. I still haven't got refunded the FULL amount. I also told them if I knew I was going to be charged I would've took my sick daughter to the planned trip

"Hospitality and Convenience"
Annette M, 14 Janvier 2024

This hotel is conveniently located in downtown Wickenburg, within walking distance to shops, and restaurants and just a few minutes from the roping arenas. Kendra in the front office when I checked in was very helpful about the area and her recommendation for dinner was excellent. The room was very clean, the king size bed was comfy and the accommodations in the room and coffee maker were great. Their breakfast was quite an array of everything you could possibly want.

"Exceptionally clean, large room."
cindyhazelton50, 02 Janvier 2024

We spent New Year's Eve in Wickenburg and this Best Western was very conveniently located. The room was large, had very comfortable beds, a sofa, a clean, spacious bathroom, a balcony, and is pet friendly. The grounds around the hotel were clean and well maintained, as was the room. The black-out curtains worked well. The setting was quiet so we could sleep-in. My only concern was that it was a little too pricey for us, but we splurged because it was New Year's Eve.

"Stopover on the way to Vegas"
James R, 15 Décembre 2023

We stayed here enroute to Vegas. Checking and checkout was easy. Room was clean but small. Parking is available but the room we had didn't have parking in front of the room. We love drive up rooms. The maintenance man was very helpful. Front desk staff was friendly and professional. We will stay here again. We highly recommend Anita's Mexican for dining. Just a block away.

"Rancho Grande"
Lon G, 27 Novembre 2023

Excellent location in Wickenburg. Close to all of the downtown sites and shopping.. Enjoyed the gem show. At least in our room, time to replace the mattresses. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. Close to many restraints.

"Leisure stay"
Theresa G, 13 Novembre 2023

Room is spacious and comfortable for my needs. Very clean for arizona desert dust. I like getting outta cooler nights. The staff accomplished my requests. Good breakfast. Few miles to dollar dtores and shops restaurants and bars around town.

"Nice Hotel in Good Location"
Z8491CFkarenk, 02 Septembre 2023

This was a pretty comfortable hotel. Nice setting and the breakfast was very good. Bed and pillows were great. Location in town was convenient to shops and restaurants. The pool was lovely and refreshing. The only issue was that the air conditioning unit was very noisy being old and in need of replacement. Getting a good sleep was difficult with the AC. Otherwise the hotel is fine,

"Cockrouches are normal there"
Nohemi10042812, 29 Août 2023

There are bugs everywhere and cockrouches and when I told the manager he said it was normal. their credit card machine doesn't work so we got charged twice and when I told front desk he said the pending charge was going to go away by itself, well it didn't

"Great location"
lpaal, 24 Mai 2023

Clean, very helpful staff and loved that it was right in the center of Main Street. Rooms were equipped with mini fridge and microwave. Wonderful atmosphere and lots of brochures on town and surrounding area

"Old but okay"
Travel806028, 02 Mai 2023

This was an old motel, decently lit, with a small table and two chairs, large mini-fridge with freezer, and microwave. The bed was comfortable. The small bathroom was well lit, but there was little counter space. The wall unit heated the room well enough, but the heat didn't reach the bathroom. The shower head was good, but the water took a long time to run hot. Ventilation was poor in the bathroom. Breakfast selection was good.

"Bed bugs"
timn0rd, 21 Avril 2023

We had bed bugs in our room. I got bit all over my body. We had to leave as the room conditions were untenable. Not happy at all. Now we need to take special measures when we get home so we don't contaminate our home

"My favorite hotel in Wickenburg"
valeriehN1689CE, 19 Avril 2023

I love staying here, the rooms are always clean and cozy. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The people who work here are friendly and fun. The hotel is walking distance from downtown. The heated pool is always open and very clean.

"Way over priced!"
tonyatonya6, 16 Avril 2023

The rooms are old, musty, and not very clean. This is a very old hotel that is motel style. It is more like a motel 6 than what I would expect of a best western especially considering the cost. Don't stay here. In fact, don't stay in Wickenburg if you can help it. I don't think other hotels options here are any better.

"Awesome hotel"
meraclemichael, 18 Octobre 2022

This hotel as always been very clean and the staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Very professional and treat you like your special. The hotel is in the middle of historic downtown Wickenburg. Plenty of sites within walking distance

"Exceptional customer service"
JazzFan55, 10 Octobre 2022

Some of the best customer service I have ever experience. Kevin and Debbie are the nicest. I've stayed twice in 2 weeks and the rooms are so nice and cozy. I come out for work and the location is perfect. I can walk to all of the restaurants and shops in minutes. There was a very minor issue with the room, I told the staff member and they upgraded me immediately, no extra charge, no questions asked. If that's not exceptional customer service, I don't know what is. I will be staying here every chance I get when I am in this town.

"Delightful stay, wonderful staff "
PurdueGirl84, 04 Octobre 2022

We stayed one night while passing thru town. The hotel is ideally situated within walking distance of the cute shops. It is an older historic building, very cute and charming. Our room was across the street in an extra section, but super close to the pool and main office. The room was cozy and comfortable. I didn't care much for the lumpy pillows, but my husband didn't mind and I always bring my own anyway. The breakfast area is very clean and had all the basics. I really enjoyed my stay and Lexie is the best! I would absolutely stay here again.

"Great Stay in Wickenburg, AZ"
344kristie, 22 Septembre 2022

Friendly and welcoming out Wickenburg way! Everyone was so nice and accommodating on my recent stay. My room was clean and well-appointed, the free breakfast was above and beyond and the front desk staff answered all my questions and was so helpful; Alexie and Kevin were the BEST!

"Always the best in Wickenburg"
valeriehN1689CE, 21 Septembre 2022

I look forward to staying here every month. The rooms are cozy and always very clean. The desk clerks are always friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is served each morning with coffee available all day. It's walking distances from shops and good places to eat.

"Nice hotel"
dh5152022, 04 Septembre 2022

I've stayed at this particular hotel several times but this was the first time in a room with a kitchenette and pull out sofa bed. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Overall, a great stay. stay!

"Terrible"
Stefanie S, 27 Août 2022

Arrived at 10:30 p.m. from long day driving. The room was exceptionally hot. When i asked for another room that had been cooled, the front desk attendant informed me that the owner does not want the rooms cooled - even ahead of the arrival of a reserved guest. This is an issue in August in Arizona! Part of what i am paying for is a cool place to sleep! When i questioned the logic in this and requested a refund so i could leave to find another COOLED hotel room in town, the attendant hung up on me. Left the door open for about 10 minutes to get at least some fresh air in the room and now ill be sleeping with mosquitos - Great! Will not be staying here again.

"Moving"
chris p, 26 Juillet 2022

We were moving a friend t Las Vegas and this Hotel helped us make it through the night with out any glitches. Kevin was very helpful with finding my number and getting us a very nice room. I was able to park the truck right in front of the room which was a comfort for us as well.

"Highly recommend "
Statia D, 18 Juillet 2022

Wow! I was professionally greeted. The desk clerk was also an excellent concierge. The room was amazingly clean and well decorated in simplistic Southwest decor. Everything was immaculate. I would definitely recommend. Unfortunately I did not take photos of the room, because I was so enamored by the landscape. Cactus gardens throughout the venue, mature palm tree surrounding the pool area and fruit trees throughout the venue.

"Expensive for what it is, but generally OK"
Kevin C, 18 Juillet 2022

We arrived Friday July 1st for the 4th weekend, having reserved a King Kitchenette Suite. Our incoming flight from O'Hare was an hour late, and it was around 9:40pm by the time we arrived. I entered reception with one guest ahead of me, and the clerk suggest I "take a seat as this is going to be a while". The guest ahead of me was individually checking in 20 rooms, working down a list one by one. I sat for around 30 minutes while they made their way down their list, and on reflection I regret not asking if they could just check me in rather than making me wait - but since I'd been told to "take a seat" I figured that courtesy was not going to be extended to me. Once finally checked in we made our way to our room, in a separate building entirely - it had the appearance of having once been a set of apartments. Parking is directly out front on crushed rock, and the setting is both quiet and private. It's a minute or two walk back to the primary area of the hotel for breakfast or the pool. You enter into a living room with couch, desk, and TV. The "kitchenette" is beyond to one side, the bathroom and bedroom to the other. The kitchenette has microwave, sink, coffee maker, and a two element electric cook top - but no silverware, pots, or pans. There were a few random plates and bowls, but it's not really clear how a guest would actually use the kitchenette unless you arrived with your own cookware - which we didn't. The bedroom was just about big enough for the king bed, with the door hitting the mattress when open. Each bedside unit includes USB charger and power outlet. The bedding was of decent quality, as was the mattress and pillows. Bathroom is clean, but modest. The toilet had been installed out of square, as had the faucet at the sink, and the floor tiles were chipped in places. No complaints with toiletries or towels. The HVAC had no trouble keeping the rooms at a comfortable temperature, but we did experience hit or miss luck with the door lock card reader. We had the cards re-initialized once and they worked a little better after that, but still most times we'd have to insert and remove the card a couple of times before the door would unlock. Breakfast was very modest, but in line with what is reasonably expected for Best Western - there's no kitchen on site after all, so it's whatever can be microwaved and placed in heating trays. All in all no real complaints beyond the check in experience, but we've paid a lot less for much higher level hotels in the past.

"DO NOT STAY HERE!!!"
katebsullivan, 04 Juillet 2022

In the 1st room the air conditioning and phone lines did not work. Moved rooms in hopes the 2nd one would be better, but that room the air conditioning didn't work and it had flies and a roach in the room. We ended up leaving at 10:30 at night. When checking out we asked for a refund for the room. The night manager said he didn't have the authority to do that and we needed to talk to the manager/owner the next day. The next day we called the manager/owner and he said he didn't have the authority to give a refund that he need to get permission from best western to do this. While looking at our bill, he noticed that we had a “public safety “ rate that his staff honored for us. He said that because my husband was not “on duty” we didn't qualify for this. Without our knowledge or approval this owner charged our credit card for the difference of the discount. We have spoken with Best Western customer relations- they said that the owner has full authority to give a refund and is not allowed to change the rate and charge our credit card. We have filed a police report for theft and fraud and will be taking this further.

"Get em' Up, Get em' Out!"
dan4cs6s2017, 10 Juin 2022

This could have been a four star review. When I arrived, the front desk people were very accommodating. I needed a good rest. The room was fair enough, the mattress a bit old the door would get stuck and not easy to open from the inside. (very bad for an emergency) The place was almost empty as it is off season. That meant quiet and peaceful. I was put off that the breakfast was only from 6am to 9am with a 11am checkout. Most places serve until 10am. The general manager said the breakfast room can get crowded at the last minute. I thought, "it is off season, hardly anyone is here." There was $250 deposit for a room costing less than a $100. I was paying cash so that was a $250 cash deposit. Do not get caught in that web at the last minute not knowing! Never have I paid a deposit like that before. I decided late at night to stay an extra night and asked if I could pay upfront so no one would bother me in the morning. I wanted to sleep in and was told paying upfront was not necessary. I asked for a door notice for housekeeping to not wake me might be a good idea. I ws told "Not Needed." Then I asked to please read back the notes written saying I am staying another night, please do not wake me. Read. That morning... three times housekeeping woke me with a long time used motel "get em' up and out" tactic. Tap, tap, tap on the door twice and disappear an hour before checkout. Then a hard knock a half hour later saying its housekeeping with... opps, you are still here... sorry. And then the third time at check out... I got very angry and said go to the front desk to find your note and leave me alone! Apologies all around. Still, I decided to stay yet another night. The next morning the same as before. I called the front desk saying, this has happened again and I am leaving. I got dressed and packed and told them to cancel the additional night. The "get em' up and out" tactic is inexcusable. Will they end it from this review? You can bet you're life, not. This was my 2nd use of the Best Western brand and it was because the first was a positive. I will be wary now in the future. Unreasonable deposit... tap, tap, tap get up... and too early breakfast for a fairly middling room.

"Great overall"
familyof9travels, 02 Mai 2022

GREAT location easy walking to shops and restaurants - just a bit higher than most other places nearby - clean and simple nothing fancy but we just stayed 2 nights and it worked for us ... Just wish the prices were more competitive - but we had to stay here otherwise we would have stayed down the road for less

"Scammed us 275.00."
jsseminars, 29 Avril 2022

We inquired about renting a room through their booking agent. We refused making a reservation due to the added costs at the end and told the agent to not make the reservation. Since he already had out credit card information he put it through anyway. Got an email from Best Western in Wickenburg that we had a room reserved there. We called and Debra the manager said not to worry we wouldn't be charged. She didnt keep her word and we were billed 275.00 for a room we never used. We contacted Capital One and the said we needed written statement from the motel that this was not to be charged. I called Debra 2 times requesting the information and each time she said she would email AND a hardcopy to our home address. She never sent it so our credit card is billing us the full amount because we cant provide the necessary documentation that she promised to send. Simply put she lied and we were scammed. Stay far away from Best Western in Wickenberg Az.

"A rip off Hotel Keep your money safe"
Ira A, 11 Avril 2022

This hotel is a real rip off! The room is very small. We were charged $170 for a room that was not much bigger than a closet. I have been in some walk in closets that were larger than this room. I checked another room and it was just as small. The bed needed to be replaced. I was told that the room had a queen be when in fact it was a double bed. This hotel was not up to the usual Best Western standard. i was told by the manager that I could stay at another hotel if I did not like this hotel. I agree - good advice stay at a different hotel. Finally , My credit card was charged in full when I checked in. This was not a hold but a full charge on the card.

"very nice motel"
Buguy5940, 07 Avril 2022

Our room was in Annex across the street. Room was nice, a little dated but very acceptable. Typical motel do it yourself breakfast with nicer seating options than what R.....a Inns have. We would be willing to stay there again.

"Convenient Location"
dellrand2, 23 Mars 2022

The downtown location had street parking which is nice if you are pulling any type of trailer. The location is convenient if you want to walk to restaurants. It was rather noisy but there was a rodeo event in town. Also, we thought it was rather pricey $250+/night. You have to ask yourself if the convenience worth it? Would we stay again, probably. The staff was very nice.

"Great location and large clean rooms."
TCrampton, 14 Mars 2022

The location is ideal for Historic Wickenburg . You can walk to around town shopping , dinning , bars The room was very spacious and clean . The friendly staff was great. They have a nice breakfast, but we choose to walk to a nearby café.

"Beautiful Old hotel"
cynthiadbeckwith, 06 Mars 2022

The history of this place is fantastic! While it is old, it's clean and has large rooms. Very hacienda style. The bedroom of our suite felt like home. The staff is so friendly, felt like I was talking to old friends. The manager was awesome in helping us get a room. This is a two story building and has no elevators but that's also part of the charm. I would love to come back and stay again. We walked to dinner and then the next day walked all around town. Perfect location

"YUCK!!!"
Sherpa14559300336, 05 Mars 2022

Oh my, how many ways can you say DISSATISFIED & DISAPPOINTING? We stayed in room 139. Remember all those horror movies with the creepy rooms, we'll there you have it. We paid $170 for one night. Paying $70 would still be high. This unit was the furthest away from the office, stuck way in the back, with a view of a dilapidated RV. Truly the worst place I have ever stayed in, in my 60 yrs. Not to mention the slimy green looking pool. We were up in Wickenburg checking the place out for family & friends to be able to suggest a place to stay. Well this isn't it. Upon checking out I spoke with the manager. I told him my concerns, he said, “well next time you stay here”, I interrupted him, my reply was, “there will not be a next time”. A credit of $50-$75 off the room rate would have eased the blow a bit. The mattress was horrible, there was light coming in through the bottom of the door, just big enough for critters to come in out of the cold, there were lights shining in our room the whole night from the parking lot. We were in that horror movie in which I mentioned earlier. Didn't sleep a wink, waiting for our door knob to turn through the night. The chain on the door had been replaced in the past, from something that went bump in the night. They got a one star because the room seemed clean and the breakfast was palatable. However, there is no pride coming from room 139, but you did get used to the smell after a short while inside. The WiFi worked well though.

"Not good value for your money"
travellerH5586TM, 24 Février 2022

The room functioned fine, but was not at all what was advertised on the website, nor was it nearly to the standard of an almost $200 per night room. The 2 Queen room was tiny and not at all well maintained. The light switches were crooked, the bathroom walls had paint peeling off them, there were obvious unpainted patched portions of the wall in the room, and the table top was scratched up. The sink was in a carpeted hallway with tiny shelves around it, but no counter, and to get to the bathroom you went down an un-level floor and around a corner. The toilet was not clean when we arrived and the towels placed in the bathroom were not folded and hung properly. The walls were very thin and we could hear music, trains and traffic that kept us up at night.

"Great staff!"
donahomeMB, 15 Février 2022

Booked least expensive room so basic but very adequate, clean. Rachel checked us in and was very helpful and friendly. Debra was working desk and breakfast in AM and also excellent. Hopefully we can stop again in the future!!!

"Great location but BW is slow in updating the Rooms"
123letsgotravel17977, 12 Février 2022

Friendly folk running hotel but old. They are trying to update this hotel but I diffidently would ask to see the room your going to get before you check in. Breakfast and checkin area is very nice. This is just a very old Best Western that appears to be going through a slow updating.

"Decent place"
mark0992022, 28 Janvier 2022

Decent room but was somewhat old. Had a Good floor plan. The showers are pretty small and I was touching the curtain and grab rail with my arms . Few options for breakfast though that was nice. I would stay here again but the price was a bit high

"me stay at best western rancho grande"
dennispick6, 26 Janvier 2022

the room I had was bad. some type of compressor keep kicking on all night long so I did not get much sleep. I arrived at 2:45 and I was told that check in was not till 3:00 go have a set in the lobby till check in time.

"Vintage but remodeled and nice."
kenmac1, 05 Janvier 2022

This relates to room 106. Though probably built in the 50's and features a quaint spruced up exterior this motel has been remodeled with modern granite and carpets and a luxurious bed. Tile shower is very nice. My only complaint is with a modern elongated toilet one must step in and to the side and then close the door. It's the only way! But we will stay here again. Good breakfast too.

"Best Western Wickenburg"
sdbrowna1, 13 Décembre 2021

Great front desk service (Kellie)! I had a problem with my reservation through a 3rd party. Kellie was able to help me. She was professional, fun, and very helpful! Room very clean with desk and fridge. Bathroom up to date and clean. Thank you Kellie!

"Great location with friendly staff"
Steven C, 29 Novembre 2021

Great location near downtown. Kellie at the front desk quite personable and friendly. Everyone associated with this hotel were friendly showing they hired great staff. The maintenance person even gave us a lesson on the story of this hotel. We will return.

"Lindsay was awesome!"
W4527KQ, 19 Novembre 2021

The hotel is in a lovely little spot right on the main strip of Wickenburg. You can walk to get something to eat, or a coffee, even a drink at night. The staff that I have met have been really sweet. I am here for work and desperately needed some laundry done, and Lindsay at the front desk was kind enough to make sure it was done for me before I went to bed, since I leave for work very early. The bed is clean, TV always gets the football games, and the courtyard outside my patio is a nice place to sit and drink a beer. I am only one week into my three week stay and I am happy I chose this hotel.

"Good times"
Peetee54, 19 Novembre 2021

We were here for 1 night but enjoyed it very much. Breakfast was great and plenty of good coffee and food and good conversation. Kevin had a lot of good information about the area and was very nice. Best Rancho Grande is the place to stay in Wickenburg.

"Great place to stay and all staff were very pleasant"
beaverrobert95, 16 Novembre 2021

The hotel is very nice and well kept. It is a easy access from the interstate and parking was not a problem. The staff on arrival was very helpful and pleasant to talk to and had answers for all of my inquiries

"Clean and Comfortable"
tgstreeter, 18 Octobre 2021

The staff are extremely helpful and courteous. We were interested in swimming, so they put is in a room right next to the pool. They provided great tourist information for the area. Breakfast was good. The room was small, but it was clean and modern. There was in-room coffee, fridge, and microwave. The location is great because you can walk to all of the good sights in town. Good restaurants within walking distance.

"Cowboy town"
csbaker19912021, 27 Septembre 2021

This was the perfect place having a dog, and being close to everything in walking distance. Very clean, nice people. The parking in the secondary building is a bit sketchy being in a super duty, can get stuck between two cars, but at least you can park in front of your room.

"Cops called"
soltero1018, 06 Septembre 2021

Due to a vehicle emergence my wife asked the manager for a late check out of one hour. Well immediately the answer was "no" and the police were called to remove us. Fortunately, we sorted our car trouble before the police arrived . On a good note, ask for Kelly the night clerk, she is awesome and very helpful a joy to meet. Stay away from the day manager and staff.

"Best thing about this place was Lindsay at the front desk"
patriciacT6260PD, 05 Septembre 2021

Huge shout out to Lindsay at the front desk. She provided excellent customer service and went above and beyond to make sure our room was the best it could be. Maintenance and pest control is lacking at this hotel.

"You Won't Find a Better Place to Stay in Wickenburg"
jamiemM206VI, 07 Août 2021

I was one of 13 active and retired firefighters that was fortunate enough to stay at the Best Western Rancho Grande from August 4th-6th, 2021. This was days 4-6 on our 40 day, charitable bicycle ride going from Los Angeles to New York in observance of the 20th anniversary of 9/11. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with friendly and polite hosts. Denise was able to check us in early and made the process seamless and easy. She went above and beyond during our stay, as did other employees of the hotel, including Lindsey, Debra, and Kellie. During a routine meeting in the lobby, we met. the owner, Manish, and was just as polite as the rest of his staff. Our rooms were everything we needed them to be and more. They were clean and put together from the second of our early arrival. On a final note, Denise and Lindsey got up extra early to see us off. Typically, breakfast hours are from 6am-9am, but we left early on our ride to Scottsdale that morning to beat the heat. The two of them made sure we had hot breakfast at 4am to ensure we were ready to take on the day. I will personally be coming back to Wickenburg, and this is where I intend to stay.

"Great Place"
harrymary88, 13 Juin 2021

The staff cares and it shows. Denise is outstanding and friendly. Pool was super clean. Breakfast was great. Could not find a thing wrong, looking forward to next time in area to staying there again. Thanks.

"Do not stay here ! They don't honor BW promotions "

As a BW Diamond Elite member I get free room nights or gift cards for staying at BW over 100 times a year with my job. I booked a stay at this location thru BW main website on the app. With four 25 dollar spring gift cards printed out I checked in and was told they would be applied for my 134.10 dollar nights stay when the night auditor does check out the next day. When I checked the next morning before checking out I was told I could only use one of my four 25 dollar gift cards. I called BW rewards corporate number and was told I could use all four at the same time. BW Rewards corporate gave me a phone number to give to front desk so they could call to help them with my situation. I've used gift cards before at Grand Canyon BW location last year with no problem. This BW needs to follow promotions that BW offers to loyal customers or change to a Super 8 motel.. When I asked the night auditor at check out if she called BW Rewards corporate number she said no, she called her GM and owner which told her I could only use 1 gift card per stay. I called BW Rewards back and was told again I can use all 4 at one time. BW Corporate needs to hold franchises accountable for BW customers that don't receive the service they deserve.

"Great experience"
cjoe4cars, 09 Mai 2021

We were very pleased with the experience at Best Western. It was in the perfect location. Everyone was nice and professional. The staff was nice and ready to help us in a short notice and extremely helpful.

"First trip in a long time."
Jim G, 08 Mai 2021

Like many of other folks, it has been a long time since I have been able to travel due to the Corona Virius. I finally took the leap after being fully vaccinated. I have stayed at this Bestwestern many times and enjoy the town of Wickenburg,AZ. As always the rooms are clean and everything is in working order. I felt secure as possible under the circumstances. The management has done a great job in trying to keep the virius at bay as far as sanatation goes. I felt very at ease staying at this establisment. It was a great trip!

"Nice !"
KristiE982, 27 Avril 2021

Our stay here was very good. ALL staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel seems a little older but our room was nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Hot - sit down breakfast was available as well. Hotel is downtown- close to restaurants and shopping. I would definitely stay here again.

"Western Hospitality"
601debm, 26 Avril 2021

My husband and I stayed at this Best Western for 2 nights. The room was nice although dated and a bit small. Those things did not bother us. The desk attendant was very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and bed comfortable.

"Disappointing — stay elsewhere"
379bartp, 19 Avril 2021

Even having reserved on the Best Western website and bring Rewards members, we paid a very high price and were roomed across the street from the main building. There were many vacancies in the main building. The room we were shuffled off to was very small, and the air conditioning ran off and on all night. We were very disappointed; we've stayed here twice before and came back this time based on those previous stays, which were quite satisfactory. The hotel person was not very pleasant at checkout when I complained about our treatment, blaming me for my unhappiness. Breakfast was fairly good, though. We won't be back!

"Wedding Made Easy"
RobinMcDaniel, 12 Avril 2021

I stayed here with my wedding party for our wedding at Vulture City. We weren't the easiest group to work with - many of us in the party needed early check in, many of us had pets, several of us booked rooms for others. We were super high maintenance. Denice was extremely friendly from start to finish. She gave us a hard time in a fun way and we enjoyed all of our interactions with her. I was going to book with another hotel from recommendations from the venue but they were rude and overall unpleasant. I'm glad I called here on a whim because it made the process so much easier. Definitely would stay here again. The rooms are laid out kind of weird but the service 100% makes up for it!

"Staff lacks customer service and knowledge of how to handle issues."
TucsonDan68, 26 Mars 2021

I booked a room at the Wickenburg Best Western on the Best Western site. The dates I selected were not carried over to the reservation and it booked the room for the day I actually made the reservation. I did not notice this until the next day when i received the bill for the nights stay that was never taken. I called the front desk at the Wickenburg location and talked with Debra who immediately passed me on to another gentleman. I asked him to change my reservation which he set it up. I saked for the discounted rate I received online and I was told that there are no dicounts availabl for this timeframe. However, I did go back and check online at the Best Western site and would have received a discounted rate IF I were to book again... more to follow later in this review. He initially could not find my reservation, but eventually found it and said they could not refund my charge even though it was a mistake on the Best Western site. He told me I have to call customer relations to resolve this issue. I called customer relations and talked with Janice. She said I needed to call the Hotel directly to which I repid with the previously stated facts. She put me on hod and called the hotel herself to try to fix the issue. Unfortunately tne Wicenburg site would not refund or change the reservation with a credit. I asked if there was anyone else I could talk to since this was a Best Western web site error. Janice put me on hold again so she cold confer with her supervisor. When we returned to the line, she gave me the information I needed to submit for a refund of my money. Janice was awesome and has the right attitude I expect from businesses I support. In closing, here are my suggestions from this isssue. The Best Western staff at the Wickenburg location do not even try to work with customers and do not know thier own business. They said there were no discounts available when there were, and they were able to handle this issue directly, but would not. I had to reach out to the corporate office to get any customer resolution. The web site issue is probably never going to be addressed and others that have the same issue may not ask for additional help like I did and lose thier hard earned money. I will find it difficult to book with a Best Western again and it would be only as a last resort as this was a frustrating and annoying experience. The only saving grace with this company as a whole was Jaince, who in my opinion, deserves a great many kudos for taking care of the customer.

"Hoteling with our Dog"
onawa1, 19 Mars 2021

This is the first time we have traveled with our dog and weren't sure what to expect. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and had our paperwork and keycards ready before we arrived. We made our reservations through a site for pet travel and were surprised with a clean sheet and big dog bone waiting too. I was apprehensive when we pulled up to the room and literally parked in front of the door. Inside the room, we happily found a big sliding glass door that opened to a large grassy area. Our dog was so happy to run around out there! This was a great experience for us!

"small town"
Emmett D, 07 Mars 2021

Very nice property. We stayed in a suite and really enjoyed the accommodations. We missed his name but he identified himself as the General Manager went above and beyond to help us fix a reservation error. Also the young lady working the breakfast was very nice and had a lovely smile for everyone. ( this was Friday morning 3/5/21 We would stay again. The only negative was the Town did not follow any" covid" protocols, restaurants crowded, no masks, no social distancing. and they had a large rodeo in town. This is not Best Western's issue, but if you take Covid seriously proceed with caution.(I am a healthcare professional and I believe in 2 weeks this this quaint town may have a bigger issue) Otherwise this was a great motel and city.

"No Covid protocols followed here!"
Wanderer279857, 05 Mars 2021

This hotel's website lists the Covid protocols being followed...as all BW's have on their sites. When i arrived to check in (Wickenburg, AZ) the lobby was rather small and narrow and the check in woman--late 50's ish--did not have a mask on and neither did 4 other people in the lobby--even tho there is a sign on the lobby door saying "masks required"...!! there was one other person waiting in the lobby also to check in, with a thin flimsy knit fabric face covering.....i did not feel comfortable waiting in this situation and waited outside (wearing my 2 masks) for my turn.....also, this property is sad and old, at least the section i was in....funky decor, chipped paint in room , not very clean, things smeared on the walls, etc.....for $134 ....shame on BW!!

"DO NOT STAY HERE"
azguurrrl, 26 Janvier 2021

I have been staying at Best Westerns for years because they allow pets and I road trip with my girls a lot. The Best Westerns range in age and quality and usually the price denotes what to expect. I booked this room expecting a pretty nice place because it was comparatively quite expensive to other Best Westerns. The location is great and I figured maybe they remodeled or did something nice because of that price. Well...quite the opposite...let me explain: 1. WARNING - NO COVID MASKS AT FRONT DESK: The front desk is staffed with ladies who feel they are better than the rest of us and don't need to wear masks to help curtail the spread of Covid. I could hardly get myself to walk in the front lobby door seeing this, but it was late and I was too tired to shop around. So figured masks are optional for the rest of the staff and I worried the entire night about what was all over the room I was staying in. No symptoms yet... 2. The room was so old and gross. No upgrades. I think the mattress and pillows are from the 70s. I didn't even put my head on a pillow - they were all lumpy and OLD. You would think for the price they are charging people, they could at least buy new pillows ever 20 years. The mattress lost any firmness it may have had 10 years ago. I can only imagine what is living in there by now. 3. There was no hot water. I had to call twice to the front desk, but by the second try, I just sucked it up and tried to dip into the icy shower as much as I could to at least sort of feel clean on the rest of my road trip. I literally felt shock run thru my body because it was so cold. Yes, they sent the maintenance guy over 20 minutes later, but I needed to get on the road. And I couldn't fathom going into another potentially covid-infested room to shower there. 4. There was hair in the shower - people hair and dog hair. Clearly these rooms are barely getting cleaned. There were crumbs and sticky stuff all along one side of the bed. I have no idea what my dog was trying to eat behind the chair. And the lotions and shampoos look like they had been reused at least 20 times - they were stained with a dark something that I didn't want to explore too much more than that. 5. The fridge made so much racket I unplugged it. There was no way I could sleep thru the night with that beast turning on every 20 minutes. 6. None of the light switches by the door worked. I literally walked into a dark room of this addition to the hotel that isn't even on the same side of the road as the main hotel and is quite dark. Totally freaked out. I had to use the light on my phone to find some other switch, in the totally dark room. 7. There is a patio door out to the patio, but I have no idea how to get out of it. I'm not the dumbest person, but this door really got me. I have no idea how to get out that door. So we had to walk around the dark parking lot to get to the dog run area. Anyway, it makes me really skeptical now of Best Westerns after this experience. Clearly they don't monitor cleanliness, crappiness, or even Covid precautions. I am going to start looking for other brands that I can actually count on for my next road trip. I am still completely grossed out by this experience. Anyway, whatever you do, avoid this place like the plague...because there may be plague there.

"Average hotel"
cinderella5252, 14 Janvier 2021

Average hotel. AWESOME STAFF!! It is very noisy. The traffic sounds like it is in your room and you will hear everything in the next room. I mean EVERYTHING!! Waffle machine was broken. Eggs and sausage only. Nothing else offered.

"Nice, convienant hotel"
dmrosejyg, 02 Janvier 2021

Nice hotel in downtown Wickenburg. Within walking distance of restaurants, shops and museums. Mostly single story rooms. Room was large, clean but basic. Breakfast was more than a lot of hotels but much less than normal due to Covid. Pet friendly hotel. They gave us a package with a sheet to put over bed, a dog treat and a couple poop bags. That was nice. We would stay again.

"Nice Historic Property if you don't mind a little train noise"
pontiac3800, 01 Janvier 2021

It was great to realize the history of the hotel itself. It's walking distance to a small historic downtown district. Do be prepared that a train will pass thru town around 0100 am. If you don't mind the short wake up horns, it's a great little place to spend a day.

"Toys for Tots"
Dreamer34370189229, 09 Décembre 2020

Love this place, been going here for years and wouldn't change a thing. It's located perfectly for our group. We can walk for just about anything we need. The rooms are very clean and nice. Property is kept very clean. Staff has always been nice.

"Saved my I-phone"
mkostrzewski, 18 Novembre 2020

Great location downtown, clean, modern amenities, fantastic staff. And they did rescue my I-phone from a restaurant. Even with the covid going on, they managed a hot breakfast. only one I got of 7 stays this trip, and at more upscale places.

"Arizona Golf Trip"
605juliet, 30 Octobre 2020

Great hotel! I have stayed here in the past but this trip myself and 2 of my traveling companions were stuck across the street and the rooms had virtually no hot water. After running the hot water for 15 minutes (wasteful) the shower was warm enough to stand in.

"Convenient location with super friendly staff"
PNWadventurer06, 24 Octobre 2020

We needed a last minute place to stay with our pup on a road trip and this place was perfect. Nice, large and clean room, great grassy spot for our dog, convenient location right in town next to shops, they had a cute doggy stay package with an extra blanket, and the staff was so friendly and helpful! I would recommend if you are staying in Wickenburg.

"A warm welcome to a warm State"
nathalia v, 05 Octobre 2020

When you are on the road for over 10 hours, the last thing you need is an attitude like customer service. This Best Western had the total opposite of that, It was almost 11 pm and we happened to see this property from the highway, the most gracious and thoughtful person was the person to check us in. Kevin was full of motivation and made our check-in and stay experience beyond our expectations. We were so glad to get our spirits up after a dreadful drive. Kevin went above and beyond to accommodate us to a great room and gave us peace of mind for a restful night.

"There In A Time of Need"
Angelicwarbler, 19 Août 2020

My husband and I were in a car accident in the area of Wickenburg recently. Our car was done. A wonderful gentleman, Cory, stopped to help and gave me shelter from the heat while my husband dealt with the accident. He also helped me find a room here at this wonderful place, where the people were friendly, concerned and extremely helpful. HUGE Thanks to Diane, Kevin and Deb, and all the wonderful staff, who run a very clean and comfortable establishment! We will definitely be back ;)

"the stay"
drydzak, 06 Août 2020

the A/C unit was not able to cool the room. the sack breakfast was like it was for a small child this could have be better . The property was very clean and maintained. the bathroom looked to have been redone and was nice.

"Fabricated damages"
Other147258, 05 Août 2020

establishment lied about damages while stay. The level of professionalism was lacking. The attitude was abrupt, ill-mannered and discourteous when trying to discuss what really occurred during a stay at this flea ridden property. STRONGLY SUGGEST AVOIDING THIS TRAP

"Diane is a Great Employee!"
faulknerja, 13 Juillet 2020

Diane at the front desk was fantastic. Given all of the changes that we're experiencing because of COVID-19, Diane helped direct us to restaurants and shopping that were still open, and her hospitality just couldn't be beat. She was cheerful, accommodating, and has a great sense of humor. She truly made our stay in Wickenburg a better one. Great employee!

"Diane was fabulous!"
JJKLAWGAL, 12 Juillet 2020

Diane was an excellent hostess! It is the best place to stay in Wickenburg. Thank you very much, Diane, for making our stay pleasant during these stressful times! Diane was very knowledgeable about the area and provided us with a great place to eat during our stay. Anita's restaurant is wonderful Mexican food!

"Hidden Gem"
dnafredericksen, 01 Juillet 2020

Beautiful little old hotel. Very clean and comfortable! The pool is so sparkling and inviting. It's a close walk to anything you may need or want in Wickenburg. We go just for leisure purposes and we couldn't love this place more.

"Great stay!"
LHCROAMER, 30 Juin 2020

Manager Deb really does go out of her way to ensure that your stay is more than satisfactory. She also gives excellent local suggestions. The room was very clean and quiet with plenty of AC / USB outlets. They also surprised me with a call after checking in to inquire how my room was.

"Outstanding customer service"
Ambassador526469, 22 Juin 2020

Great customer service! Front desk "Diane" went out of her way to make us feel welcome and safe!! We can't say enough about the excellent customer service she provided! Thank you Diane! We will stay here again soon!

"Friendly service, great room"
ron_theget_io, 30 Mai 2020

Friendly service, great room. Diane was especially helpful with suggesting places to eat, get a drink. Good wifi for an internet worker and I was happy my entire stay. Wickenburg is a bit out of the way, but friendly citizens like Diane made it a genuine pleasure. Wish everyone in AZ was as nice.

"Emergency Stay!"
Deborah M, 27 Mai 2020

Upon returning home from a trip, we found ourselves trapped near Wickenburg due to a fatal car accident. The only decent road headed our direction was closed with no opening possibilities within hours. We were tired and decided to book a last minute room. Check in was easy and, although the hotel is an older style, they have attempted to be tidy. Due to COVID restrictions, breakfast was a grab and go that we decided to skip. There were a few hiccups, but the representative on duty handled them without an argument. For an older, basically 2 star hotel, I thought it was a bit pricey but, then again, it was a Friday night before a holiday and we were short on choices, so sometimes you just have to deal with it.

"Friends wedding"
mikebB7830UU, 25 Mai 2020

AAA reservation was not on file. Diane at the front desk found us a room. Diane was very helpful in making sure we did not get double charged. Parking right in front of the room. Pool was open. Close to the town, walked to dinner. They had a grab and go breakfast. Bed was comfy and plenty of channels on the TV. Quite stay.

"Okay"
Sherman W, 30 Avril 2020

The room was clean but was so small you could hardly get around the bed. Ho had to squeeze to even get into the closet. It was okay for one night, but not any more than that. The hotel was convenient to downtown.

"Super Friendly"
Douglas S, 17 Avril 2020

Stayed here recently for a week or so. Had a great room that fit all my needs. Quiet and comfortable. Staff are superb, so friendly and willing to help out with anything. Had a problem - fixed on the spot with no questions asked. Would highly recommend.

"Absolutely amazing!"
232tkfromok, 06 Avril 2020

Wow! I stumbled upon this hotel while in Wickenburg. I am sooo glad I stopped in to see if they had availability. This ranks as one of the best hotel stays I have had! The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. Whatever request or need I had, they were right there to assist. The rooms were very clean and nice. I stayed in 2 different types of rooms and they were both fantastic. The rooms were fresh and the air quality in the rooms was superb. There was no evidence of mold or water leaks- the very reason I left my previous hotel. If I am ever in the area I will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel. Plus, the owner is on site and is wonderful. The staff can't be beat! Thanks for such a pleasant experience!

"Awesome place to stay."
wlteague49, 03 Mars 2020

Excellent place to stay. Very Clean, great staff, Pat was very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again. The hot breakfast was excellent. The parking area was clean and very well kept. We wish we could have stayed another day

"Tourist"
461donnae, 03 Mars 2020

Clean and comfy but the best thing is the amazing breakfast. So many choices, all delicious, fresh and healthy. Waffles, biscuits& gravy, eggs sausage, cinnamon rolls, yogurt and much more in an attractive dining area. Coming again for sure!

"Great. Location"
Matt M, 29 Février 2020

This is a collection of old motels, some units are old and dated , some are quite nice but there is not much in town to choose from. The rooms surrounding the lawn have a sliding glass door where you can sit outside. They have a pair of rooms that are old and dated overlooking river and old rv's next to ice machine, stay away!

"They canceled my reservation of 4 rooms without notice!!!"
mecaf2020, 26 Février 2020

I am extremely disappointed in the Wickenburg hotel and Best Western Corporation. I live in San Diego and traveled to Arizona with 9 friends to participate in an overnight race. I made the reservations in September for our January stay. We drove out from San Diego, and after 7 hours on the road found out that our rooms were canceled without any notice or explanation for the cancelation. This was at the fault of the Best Western employees. As the race was in town, there were no other hotels available in Wickenburg. We had to stay 33 miles away at another hotel (not Best Western). After calling, emailing, and their investigation, they found that they were at fault, but they only covered the cost of the difference between the hotels; they did not offer ANY OTHER compensation. This was and continues to be truly unbelievable to me. The corporation completely lacks customer service.

"Great place to stop for the night"
sabrinah290, 24 Février 2020

We hadn't planned to stop in Wickenburg, but the last few days of our bike trip were slightly rearranged due to the weather. Wickenburg was the perfect stop for the night. We rolled in just after dark and were happy to hear they had 2 rooms for us; we even got little welcome bags for bikers (Put together by some of the neighbourhood kids) The room was clean and I believe it had just been updated. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was fantastic. There are several restaurants within walking distance, including a cafe with the best coffee in town! Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area.

"The best place to stay in downtown Wickenburg!"
Michael O, 18 Février 2020

At 72 years old ( ! ), the Rancho Grande was one of Best Western's first motels. Conveniently located within walking distance to all the restaurants, shops, and the museum. Mr. Patel is the proprietor, Nancy at the front desk is the best!

"EZ in and EZ out"
777bryan, 06 Février 2020

Check in was quick, originally a small room with a king but was moved to a larger room that had the Microwave and Refer. Right off Hwy 60, was easy to get too as well. Breakfast was outstanding and the ladies overseeing it were marvelous! A little over priced for the area but there's a lot going on in Wickenburg you'll never know of with the great rodeo's and such!

"Best Western Rancho Grande"
Ellen W, 06 Janvier 2020

Staff was very friendly and helpful, wanting to make sure everything was great for me. My biggest complaint was that I came here over New Years, and this is a tourist town - but most of the restaurants were closed. I would come back, but not over new years.

"Comfy stop between Vegas and Tucson"
Sandi Z, 10 Décembre 2019

Stayed here over Thanksgiving on our way home from Vegas. Mike was really nice and accommodating upon check in. Enjoyed our stay rooms are on the small side but has everything you need for a good nights sleep. Fridge microwave and plugs for your electronics. Free internet and the usual free breakfast to get you on the road. Will stay here again.

"Wickenburg AZ, the wild west at it's best"
ryanlari, 04 Décembre 2019

This hotel is clean, quiet, restfull and right at the junction of hwys 60 and 93. The town is reminescent of the old west in the gold mining days. The breakfast was nutritious as well as tasty. The pool was nice also.

"overnight"
olson4law, 30 Novembre 2019

I had a quick overnight. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. They brought me to the airport even though my flight was at a strange time. The place is older. The breakfast was limited, the only warm option was the make it yourself waffles.

"Gets Better Each Time"
JRC08053, 11 Novembre 2019

I love this town and this hotel. They are the nicest folks, always going the 3xtra yard! Misplaced my keys, thought I left them at one of the little shops....Deb the GM called all over town looking for them. Pat and Michael, the maids, maintenance, the host for breakfast....every one of them wonderful...and I am not the easiest to please. Highly recommend staying here when in the area!

"Would come back....but speed up the WiFi!"
Atrel, 09 Novembre 2019

Firstly this was a very good hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean as was the pool area and the grounds, the staff make an effort to keep the place looking good. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruit salad, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy as well as yoghurts cereal and oatmeal, could not fault it. The only criticism I have was the room. We had the cheapest which was the smallest room. There wasn't much drawer space and the washstand in the bathroom could have been bigger. If you are staying one night, fine, but if you are there for a few days, spend a few more bucks and spring for a bigger room. My only other gripe was the WiFi was S-L-O-W. However all in all, we would definitely stay here if we are ever in Wickenburg again.

"old but clean"
LeoandMagda, 07 Novembre 2019

this property is old but clean. if you have a room in the backside off the hotel then its quiet. Our room was very small and just good enough for one night, the breakfast was not special. Wickenburg is a nice place but during our stay it was to hot ( 102 ) to do something during the day

"Historic location in downtown Wickenburg"
ROBERT C, 30 Octobre 2019

A wide variety of different rooms in this complex of historic buildings. Appointments focus on Western themes -- artwork featuring horses, cowboy scenes, and Old West topics. Upholstery and bedcovers commonly follow the same themes. Some rooms with kitchenettes, some large, some not, definitely not you usual chain motel. I like some of the little touches like real ceramic mugs for the in-room coffee. Walking distance to several restaurants. Always stay there when on business in central Arizona.

"A+ facility, price unexplained"
sdbrownie, 25 Octobre 2019

This is an exceptionally well maintained, older property. I stopped based on $86 rate on Trip Advisor. Clerk stated rate was $99, with no further explanation. That said, room was quiet, clean, and I'd stay again, and again.

"Great people, good breakfast, comfortable rooms."
DPR308, 20 Octobre 2019

Room was a nice size, all the typical amenities, breakfast was really good and had variety, good lacation. All that said, the reason I'd go back is the staff. Efficient while also friendly and genuinely seemed to want their guests to enjoy their stay and their city. Whomever hires there made great choices - anyone (almost) can be taught to do a job but no one can teach personality. Whether one night or an extended stay, I'd choose it again.

"Cozy and Friendly Comfort in the Desert"
Jessica C, 17 Octobre 2019

This was probably one of the most charmingly decorated hotels we've ever been in. Quaint is the word of the day here. Breakfast was excellent, and the location was extremely convenient considering that you're in what this Californian would call the middle of nowhere. That is not a criticism either! But rather having the convenience of this kind of quality stay in an area without many other options is a huge blessing. At night, there's nothing like star gazing from the comfort of outside your room, maybe sitting on your car and the nicest staff to shoot the breeze with. We'd definitely come back if in the area again, thank you to all the staff for making our first stay in AZ unforgettable!

"Wickenburg stay"
Sunshine562279, 08 Octobre 2019

Wickenburg is a small town so finding a hotel was easy. But staying at the Best Western was a really good choice. Rooms were very spacious and super clean. The staff was very nice and accommodating to our needs as a guest and wedding stay. We would absolutely stay here again.

"Rancho Grande Grand"

"Absolutely Amazed"
John H, 28 Septembre 2019

While traveling to Sedona, Az we stopped in Wickenburg, Az for the evening. We checked into the hotel, in downtown, and were amazed at how well the rooms were and all of the amenities available. Our room had a walk-in shower, first time for me in a hotel. The room was comfortable and the staff wonderful. They have a free full meal breakfast each morning. A great place to stay.

"Great Stay"
LuisLinTucson, 25 Septembre 2019

I want to start my review by thanking Nancy at the front desk, she just made me feel at home... I wish I could find some one like her every time I check in at any hotel any where around the world. Keep the good job Nancy. The Hotel is clean and well maintained, the special rate-budget rooms are rather tiny, but if you pay the difference they will be more than happy to move you to a larger room. The free breakfast is outstanding. Over all My wife and I were very pleased.

"Great Hospitality/ Historic Hotel"
Bill H, 22 Septembre 2019

Very nice accomidations, but what shines is the hospitality. We stay here about 5 times a year as a great escape from city life. We can stay anywhere we like and we love staying here. The owner and her staff are friendly and helpful and we can't help but feel like family. Thank you for having us!

"Wickenburg"
Kath H, 16 Septembre 2019

Fantastic location, walking distance to some great restaurants and bars in the centre of the historic part of town. Lovely, helpful and friendly staff, but disappointed with the size of the room for the price that we paid. Good amenities, although we weren't able to use the pool as our stay was only one night and we didn't have time, and we missed breakfast as it was finished by 9am (our mistake!!) Overall, bit dated, but great location!!

"Comfortable"
Rick S, 14 Septembre 2019

Stayed here as part of a golf trip. Room was large and had fridge and microwave. Oil small with no shade. A few tables and chairs. No pool towels. Room had a small outside table with two chairs. Bed was soft. Small table and two chairs inside. Linoleum floors with no carpet. Actually liked that as pretty dusty in area. Very convenient location. Close to small shops and many restaurants and bars all walkable. God value for the money and location. Would definitely use again if in Wickenburg. Breakfast was eggs and sausage. Waffles. Fruit, cereal and muffins. Nice selection to get the day stared. Breakfast ends at 9:00am which surprised me a bit.

"Lovely experience!"
slc53, 12 Septembre 2019

Beautiful property in an absolutely charming town. Friendly and helpful staff representing Best Western and the Town of Wickenburg at the highest level. Room was well appointed and clean. I will stay again and recommend the Rancho Grande to my friends.

"I was pretty impressed"
georgecomerci, 09 Septembre 2019

Good service, clean room, nice pool. The TV and Wi-Fi both worked great. The continental breakfast was pretty good and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall, I was impressed and would come back again!

"Don't stay here when it is 105 degrees outside."
Ruttie, 07 Septembre 2019

There is a sign not to turn your air conditioning to less than 68 or it might freeze up. Our room never got to 68. The staff and breakfast were good but out of fruit when we ate. Parking was difficult.

"Horrible!"
Adam T, 03 Septembre 2019

The clerk was clearly annoyed that I was calling to book a room. He sounded way too busy with no help. The room we received was horrible, holes in floor boards and walls. The mattress had to be 100 years old. The air conditioning was so loud when it turned on it woke us up several times. The front desk clerk had a horrible cold and was wiping snot on his hands and then touching our paperwork. We debated about sleeping in our car in the parking lot the room was so bad. They double charged us for the room and when I called to fix it I was given a different number to talk to someone about the horrible conditions. No one answered the phone, I left a message and received no call back.

"Authentic Wickenburg Hotel, very cool, clean and convenient"
SFRadio-Engineer, 17 Août 2019

I came into Wickenburg without a place to stay. I was hoping to stay at Holiday Inn Express but there isn't one here. I've always had good experiences with Best Westerns... and this is no exception. They tend to be family owned by somebody local and they tend to go the extra mile for guests and create and maintain a really solid hotel. This one has been around for decades, yet they've stayed current with amenities and maintenance. I'll just list the things that impressed me: Ultra clean, beautiful breakfast room and lobby. Fast Internet (50 mb down 5 up), extensive Direct TV system with many commercial free movie channels, great hot breakfast with eggs, bacon, fruit, cereals and even hot pancakes (not just a bunch of microwaved stuff). A crystal clean pool and patio area, really convenient parking right in front of your room door and fair prices. The place has personality and a warm and friendly staff. They won't disappoint you.

"Ok but Hmm..."
thekansasgirl1, 01 Juillet 2019

Stayed here 1 night on our way through AZ. Couldn't check in early because they were doing some kind of re-paving and apparently some rooms were not being used. The front desk lady, Pat, said she had to scramble to get rooms booked before the internet took them..She was very friendly but seemed a bit overwhelmed. We asked for a quiet room and upstairs and she put us in the 2nd building upstairs - a room at the very end of the hallway. Fine by us. However our only 2 "complaints" were that we booked a king room but she gave us a room with 2 queens - and I use the term "Queen" loosely. We swore they were full size beds...they were so small for queens. And the other issue we had was with the AC...it couldn't seem to keep up so the room always felt a bit warm and stuffy. We even set the temp down to 68 which is as low as it can go, and it would only kick on for a few short minutes - if that- then kick off. Didnt bother to ask to change rooms since Pat seemed to have her hands full with the guys checking in to re-do the paving. Parking is free and they had a good selection for breakfast. Full breakfast with all the trimmings -eggs, waffles, bacon, cereal, etc....It was an ok stay since it was for only 1 night, but Wickenburg doesn't offer a wide selection of hotels. What was nice is the hotel not only has stairs to the 2nd floor rooms, they have ramps so that made wheeling our heavy suitcase easy.

"Great hotel"
Kira-Lee209, 26 Juin 2019

Loved, loved loved this hotel. Very clean, quiet and beyond friendly staff. This place is within walking distance to anything you need. Pool is clean. Even though right off busy intersection, very quiet. Wish more hotels were like this.

"An excellent experience"
Flyer63287496634, 24 Juin 2019

We are moving to Wickenburg,AZ and we stayed at the Best Western Rancho Grande until our moving van arrived. We had a wonderful experience at the hotel and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and they welcomed our little dog.

"Enjoyed our night stay at this hotel. Very clean and quiet. Quite a big facility. Staff kind and helpful. Walk downtown."
lovetotravel123go, 09 Mai 2019

Room was at a back quiet section of extended buildings. Easy parking per vehicle. Back view of court area. Nice newer bath and shower. Nice bed updated! Pillows etc. TV in room. Coffee, tea in room too.

"Good experience"
Maps35252036439, 06 Mai 2019

The hotel was convenient to restaurants and for sight-seeing. The room was very large and very clean; the bed was comfortable. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and the food that was supposed to be hot was. We felt safe in the area.

"Beware"
Phil P, 01 Mai 2019

I had booked us at this property. Upon arrival the room was so small (claustrophobic), that preferred to cancel all plans rather than endure the room. We asked to cancel. We were told no and they stuck by their terms of allowing cancellations only by 1 PM the DAY before your arrival date. Not only did we eat the cost of the room for that night, but also the night after. I consider this cancellation policy abusive. Orbitz took up the matter with the hotel, but to no avail. Beware! Very, very small rooms. Very abusive cancellation policies. BTW, this is my first negative review of a hotel.

"Adventure"
sub02, 09 Avril 2019

The jury is still out on this accommodation although the room was nice the direct tv was difficult to navigate through and upon our arrival we found it somewhat difficult to find our room as the layout is not user friendly and on top of that it was dark

"Best motel room by far !"
J0e1970, 02 Avril 2019

We arrived on our Harley very hot & desperate to get off the bike . Cold water in reception was a great start . Gave us a ground floor room 5 rooms from reception so we could park the bike right outside for added security. Room was very spacious, even had a walk in wardrobe ! Nice shower room with a shower I could stand under for once without bending my head to one side ( why are all showers so low in the USA ? I'm only 6ft , not a giant lol ) Plenty of tea / coffee in room . Was very impressed to see cleaners were cleaning fridges out that had been removed from rooms in a maintenance area , not just running a damp cloth around them in the room , that's a first never seen that before . Pool was open ( all pools I've seen at motels & hotels from Orlando in Florida all the way to here in Arizona on my road trip are closed as it's to early in the year apparently ! ) Spoke with the owner who was a lovely lady . Even had special goodie bags for motorcyclists , which was a lovely touch as quite often hotels back home in Europe would treat bikers like second class citizens . So far I've spent 14 nights in a different hotel or motel every night & this is by far the best .

"Avoid Room 101!!!"
Paintyhands, 31 Mars 2019

I booked two nights here MONTHS AGO, and ended up with a room so small that we could barely get into the closet, as a nightstand is literally in the doorway. The space would be better suited for bunk beds. I've stayed here before and gave it a rave review, but this room is a joke. When I mentioned how crammed it was, the desk clerk said, "Yeah, we use that room for staff because it's just too small." Um, then maybe you could have charged me a bit less than $321 (including a $40 dog fee)!!! It's a good thing we're small people and our dog is tiny, or we might never have squeezed ourselves and our suitcases out of that crummy little room. I wish I would have taken the time for pics, as it's a hoot. Next year we'll stay with friends, or at My Place Suites, thank you. On the brighter side, most of the desk staff and house keeping/grounds is super friendly. The free breakfast is good and so is the coffee.

"Michigan to San Diego"
nancy l, 27 Mars 2019

Location is good. The floors are dirty, and so are my barefoot feet inside the unit. For the $165/night, I would expect a refridgerator with a freezer compartment. Did not like being put in a "back 40" suite. I only asked for a 1st floor unit with a king or 2 queens, as it appears to be a large BW location.

"Good for short stays"
568kirkf, 20 Mars 2019

I have stayed at this location at least twice before, with no issue and in fact, I was impressed with the rooms in the main building. This stay, however, we were put in a room across the street and you could tell the difference. These rooms appear to be very old and the A/C unit shut off in the middle of the night and I couldn't get the power back on to the unit. Then in the morning, the power came back on in the unit.

"Very Pleasant"
rogerlU2986GF, 17 Mars 2019

The Rancho Grande Best Western at Wickenburg, Arizona, is one of the most interesting and pleasant hotels among the many at which I have stayed in many countries and over a very long life. The closest runners-up would be the LUXOR in Las Vegas and the Turtle Bay Resort on the North shore of Oahu, Hawai'i. The pleasures of my stay were significantly enhanced by the Saguaro Theater and the Mecca Sports Bar & Grill across the street.

"Vastly over-priced and over-rated"
Rick A, 11 Mars 2019

The place needs to be demolished so they can start over. Microscopic bathroom, ancient furniture, totally worn out. Surly front desk employee. Her first words upon our arrival." I need to see your driver's license and credit card." (And hello to you too.) But the breakfast is fine.

"Well located in the town. Good amenities, and really helpful and friendly staff."
Z7232OYkevinc, 06 Mars 2019

Well appointed rooms, in a single storey motel format. Room was clean, and the bed comfy. Great location to explore the down town area. Breakfast was well prepared, and very tasty. The only small downside, the outside pool need to be a little warmer .!

"TOO OLD AND DANGEROUS"
michaelwA9562EJ, 05 Mars 2019

72 years ols and old section shows it. Small door and bath, AC noisy and doesn't work well. Worse part is the VERY dangerous shower!. No hold bars, no soap shelf to grab, slick walls, tiled and slick floor And tiled floor was sloped to drain.. WHEN WE COMPLAINED WAS TOLD PEOPLE PULL THEM OUT OF THE WALL!!

"GREAT location"
Matt M, 01 Mars 2019

This is a collection of older motel units, some better than others, was shown an outdated upstairs suite that had a balcony but was dark and dreary complete with highway noise, settled on a courtyard unit than had a nice patio door that opens to a quiet courtyard. GREAT breakfast and super location

"Wickenburg is a fun cowboy town to visit!"
HollynannaArizona, 28 Février 2019

We were impressed at how nice, modern, comfortable the Best Western in Wickenburg is! Thought that we'd only find old worn out motels, but were very happily surprised! Big room, outside patio with table and chairs to enjoy the sunshine. Walking distance to Old Town. Perfect!

"Noisy heater unit"
Venture67077056404, 28 Février 2019

Do not reserve room 101. The under window heater unit was so loud it woke us up all night when it kicked on. Very low water pressure for the shower. The queen bed takes up much of the room which was small. To iron you must use the closet to set up the ironing board. The remote and tv did not work. We finally realized it was all unplugged behind the dresser. For $132 we were pretty disappointed.

"Poor Service poor quality. "
Jimemarriott, 22 Février 2019

The room smelled like someone had smoked in it. The heater was noise and the bed was uncomfortable. I am a diamond member and stay in a lot of best westerns. I travel a lot in this area and I will add this one to my GPS with an X next to the address.

"Awesome experience"
Mark Y, 18 Février 2019

Fun, great location and great staff, we had a fun time at the town locally bar. They were safe and everyone was fun too. If you are driving to or from Phoenix I would stay here. You can stay for fun or business.

"Horrible Best Western"
Shari L, 18 Février 2019

The heater was broken. It was set to a low temperature but got really hot in the room. The beds were old with outdated mattresses. There was no tub in the bathroom just a shower and the price for the room was outrageous! It definitely needs to be updated. This is the worst Best Western I have ever been to. I won't be back ever! If I could give a minus rating for this hotel, I would!

"Just leave"
shariannl64, 16 Février 2019

The absolute worst Best Western we have ever been to. They are very expensive for an old outdated hotel. My hubby and I both seniors paid $161 for 1 night. why? Because they can! The old rooms need new heat/AC wall units. We set ours for 64 and woke up to hot, hot, hot! The heat ran all night. In order to get hot water, the faucet must run for a good 5 minutes. They also charged us $20 for our chi which was outrageous! Even the motel that keeps the light on doesn't charge for pets. Our fav hotel La Quinta doesn't charge for pets. Don't stay here better yet keep on truckin!

"Locally owned very good"
mdsshapiro, 02 Février 2019

Lots of staff. Place is clean. Pool is heated and very clean. Call hotel direct to save money over expedia. Queen beds are very comfortable. Linens are good. Comforter is warm. Bathroom very clean. Walk in shower good. Breakfast is the usual. Only open to 9am including week ends

"Wickenburg Arizona"
Camper03748978903, 24 Janvier 2019

2nd time at this Best Western Hotel in Wickenburg Arizona. It's an older hotel that has been updated, super clean and I love the old west decor. This hotel is in the heart of downtown Wickenburg, easy walk to shops and Restaurants. Nice relaxing get-a-way!

"Not the best Best Western"
annensteve, 24 Janvier 2019

This hotel is very well located for the historic town. The rooms are large and clean and there seems to be a programme of renovation going on - they were tarmacing the car park when we were there We were in a ground floor room and the noise from above was terrible. Squeaking floorboards, lots of bumps etc. What was worse was the manager's lack of concern when this was reported. Most disappointing hotel in our 18 days travel Breakfast was OK but not nearly as good as that provided in Country Inn and Suites

"Christmas in Wickenburg"
Rebekah A, 08 Janvier 2019

We have stayed here in the past, visiting my husband's family from a recovery-confirming distance and each time we have here the happy balance of autonomy and familiarity. It snowed on our near to last day and I saw the house maid, covered in plastic, still cleaning the rooms with a professional jaunt, the poignance of duty, hopably fueled by caring was unmistakable. The owners are professional and kind, again - knowable and not intrusive. The breakfast is generous, here, I will allow myself one complaint: no English breakfast tea and no whole grain bread, but easily remedied with a 5$ investment at Basha's grocery store. There is something wonderful about sharing the holiday with strangers who, at the same time, feel related in a breakfast room looking out at a Western movie set (seems like), with the Arizona news on the morning tv. The rooms are large and clean and the owner fixed our television, and knew also my reference to the sage Indian actor, Mr Om Puri. I was able to watch a Law and Order marathon the day I was sick, and heat up the generous burrito from Bar 7 the next day in our microwave. Plenty of room for my Soroptimist purchased extra wardrobe, the sun shone on my leather bag, I cleaned it with vinegar from the San Francisco mold I had inadvertently brought. If you wish, maybe, you had an apartment in your relative's city, to enjoy each other's best qualities, or, if you are passing through, or if you want to enjoy Wickenburg, this is your place!

"Clean, Relaxing experience"
Linda M, 29 Décembre 2018

The room was very clean and well maintained for my entire stay. The check in staff, the service personnel and the check out staff were friendly, professional and very pleasant. The bed was comfortable. Having access to a refrigerator was very useful and helpful.

"Good place to stay"
shelleybaier, 10 Décembre 2018

Stayed at the Wickenburg BW overnight - nice welcome from the management couple. A popular stop as they were very busy checking in travellers like us with no reservations. Interesting setup for the hotel location and parking spaces are pretty tight. But the room is quite spacious and ours opened out to the grassed patio area between buildings which was nice. Hotel is one Main Street so its a short walk to restaurants and conveniently stores. We ate at the Rancho 7 down the street, a good place with loads of character.

"Toys for TOTS"
Dreamer34370189229, 04 Décembre 2018

We've been coming to Wickenburg for about 5 years now for the TOys for TOTS classic car show. We stay the weekend to enjoy what we can find in Wickenburg. It's become a tradition for my friend and I. This is the best place to stay. Location is perfect for us that can't walk around as much as we used to. The staff was very good at my request for room placement . I recommend it to everyone.

"Poor WiFi, train noise and unwelcoming staff"
Passport08866475473, 30 Novembre 2018

Charming facility inside and out, but in room wifi signal was poor at best. Noisy trains night and day only a block away.Check-in and check-out were slow. We are on a road trip for the past 2 weeks and the staff here seemed unwelcoming. This is a tourist town with higher than average lodging prices. We stayed the next night at the Los Viajeros Inn also in Wickenburg, in a newly remodeled room for $20.00 less and just as nice. I will stay a the Los Viajeros Inn again.

"My stay at the Rancho Grande"
Bill H, 23 Novembre 2018

The Rancho Grande is our great escape from the city. Barely 50 miles from Phoenix but a world away. We do this day trip about 6 times a year so you now we love the property. Do yourself a favor and stay in suite. When we stay at the Rancho Grande, we don't feel as if we're at a hotel, we feel at home.

"Good value hotel"
531bing, 22 Novembre 2018

We had a great experience and good value staying at the Rancho Grande Best Western. Super helpful host. Proper breakfast bar the next morning before we continued our excursion. We didn't stay during special events or dates which can really change rates for the same product. I would stay again without hesitation.

"Western Hospitality"
Angela C, 19 Novembre 2018

Besides the wonderful hospitality of the employees the western decor of the hotel was a delight. Easy access and close to downtown. It made our stay more of an experience/adventure than just a hotel stay. Definitely will stay again.

"Far from Best"
denise73AZ, 14 Novembre 2018

When I made the reservation I requested a quiet, room on the first floor, realizing there was no elevator. This hotel was built on a slope so the complex we stayed in was awkward. Room 223 felt like a basement. We had to walk down steps to get to our room. Ramps are available but they are steep and slippery when wet. There are some rooms that occupy another separate complex similar to the motel scene where you can park your car by your front door of your single floor room. They are slope free as well. Yes, the room showed its age. There was no carpet at all. My thinking was in case of flooding. No cost to replace what you don't have. Yes, at first look, the sheets lacked the bright white quality but they did smell clean. The towels were very small and low on the absorbency scale but the bathroom was clean, white and mildew free. The lighting was limited and I had to use an antiquated floor lamp to do the duty as the desk lamp. There were some good qualities. It was very quiet and I slept well despite the oversized foam pillows. The major plus was the huge t.v. and the variety of movie channels. I enjoyed several commercial free movies, keeping me up late. One last thing. The management says they serve a complimentary breakfast. Fake eggs and paper thin bacon yuck! The 'eggs' needed no chewing. They just dissolved. I enjoyed the biscuit with butter and grape jelly along with the coffee.

"Dirty Room"
Compass30825199010, 14 Novembre 2018

The guest room was filthy. Sheets, flooring, bathroom and pull out mattress were all dirty with food and trash on mattress and dirty sheets. GROSS! Very disappointed in this property. Also no hot tub.

"This is a 1* hotel."
NorthStar47478530714, 04 Novembre 2018

All the rooms are very old. The tv didn't work. They wouldn't fix it . They tried to claim we broke the tv when it never worked. The manager would prefer to rent rooms to all the construction men than proper customers. Avoid avoid avoid. Best western should be ashamed to have its name to the place.

"Don't stay here"
Karen C, 31 Octobre 2018

New ownership has taken this facility down the tubes. No hot water, hairdryer didn't work neither did outlet in bathroom, Maid service didn't finish room after first night stay. Charged for pet when I asked for PET Free.

"Golf Stay"
Global721904, 26 Octobre 2018

there were 20 of us (10 Men & 10 Women) We stayed over night because we played golf in the Area. Hotel was fine, staff were very good. The Hotel is old and tired, however to be fair they were renovating it. I would give it a 5 rating when the Reno's are done. Very much enjoyed Wickenburg. really like how they have made the whole downtown go western. lots of good shops (the Girls bought lots of different items. We ate at the Ranch 7 Restaurant. Good Food, Good Service and good prices. All in all a very good trip. Oh did I forget to mention the Golf. Played Wickenburg Ranch just out of town. That course was magnificent! I play alot of different Golf Courses and that one is in my top 10

"Charged over-posted room rate"
valeriej677, 19 Octobre 2018

Lovely historic hotel downtown. Always stayed or recommended for many years. Unfortunately, owner would not acknowledge any normal AAA type discounts and charged more than posted room rate. Was very unpleasant when difference was called out.

"Stop over"
Doughnut78, 25 Septembre 2018

We stayed for just one night as part of a stop over driving from Yellowstone to San Diego. Originally chosen for the distance between drives each day I am glad we stopped here.Firstly Wickenburg is a lovely little town for a stop over, has fuel stops, shops and restaurants. The hotel was spot on, pleasant check in clean, comfy bed, room was a decent size and the breakfast included was a great start to our journey the next day. The orange juice and coffee in particular was the best we have had so far all trip. There was eggs, sausage (and gravy), toast, pastries, cereals etc on offer. There is a swimming pool that we used to cool off at night too, all very nice and woudl recommend.

"Motorcyclist on vacation"
daveg20212018, 18 Septembre 2018

I like Best Western Hotels and this one lived up to the quality that is Best Western hotel are known for,Had a great stay and will be back again as I travel on my next vacation in the west. Room was very nice and every thing worked like it should.

"Wickenburg get away!"
Kathy H, 17 Septembre 2018

This hotel is walking distance from everything in old downtown Wickenburg. There is no need to start your car until it's time to go home! They have a great breakfast buffet, the rooms are spacious and comfortable! Staff is friendly, the pool is nice......I have stayed here about a half dozen times. This time I brought 6 family members with me. We all had a great time. I will be back!

"Old buildings but nice owners and good value"
John S, 16 Septembre 2018

We stayed for a week. New owners are working on fixing up this old motel. We stayed in 2 rooms, both spacious, but with old features. Single pane windows made the room at the front (very near the junction of Hwy 60 and 93) too noisy for us due to the truck traffic and trains. They nicely let us move to the back where sleeping was not a problem, and the bathroom had been refurbished. Good, fairly new beds and blackout curtains. Fairly strong cleaning product smell, as is common with older motels. Immediate response to fix AC. Better than expected hot breakfast for the price (OK scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage). Nice outdoor pool. Overall good value because the price was low.

"Great Breakfast, upgraded rooms, Friendly Staff"
FlipFlopPeki, 08 Août 2018

I have stayed at this Best Western about 3 times and was happy to see they are upgrading all rooms. Very nice tile showers and comfy bedding. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was better than most hotels I stayed in for this trip. Wonderful hot showers is always a blessing after a hard day on the road!

"Nice Stay"
Bertie16, 08 Juillet 2018

BW Rancho Grande, grand in name but functional in reality, booking in was a good experience, the receptionist was helpful and informed us of all the amenities that were availible,wi-fi,pool,free coffee, etc.very helpful. The room we were allocated was some way away from the main building,in an annexe across a small road,no problem for us but a bit awkward walking back for any requests or breakfast, the "supplies" in the room were sparse, only enough coffee or tea for two cups, again a walk back to the reception to request more.Breakfast was good but not great, but a pleasant lady at the breakfast who got us going for the following day.

"Friendly staff."
Carmen S, 08 Juin 2018

Such a nice facility with very friendly helpful staff I was impressed with the people at the front desk so helpful and accomodating. If you visit this area I would highly recommend Best Western Rancho Grande. PS Really good breakfast and the coffee was just right.

"Best Western Wickenburg AZ"
gbrophy, 08 Juin 2018

I arrived on June 1st; having been told upon reserving the hotel had a guest laundry. I discovered they did not, nearest laundry services 2.5 miles away. The check in agent, Mark became almost hostile, banging his finger on the check in form, asking how many adults in the room, how many children, I put in a slash, lt's not good enough; I want a zero he proclaimed in a loud voice. He went on to bang his finger on the registration form, initial here for non smoking, here for no pets (still banging his finger). Then I said to Mark, your attitude is starting to annoy me. I said hold my reservation and went out to speak to my wife. We had nowhere else to go. Temp 107F and then decided to stay. I was then made to wait 45 mins until Mark checked in around 6 couples, whilst sitting on a bench in the lobby. All this time Mark pointedly ignored me. My time on the bench was interesting. There was a lady with a cat desperately trying to find a room, almost crying. The Quality Inn was full. (Thank the Lord I did not walk away, I know in Marks arrogance he would have turned us away), they sent her to the BW (She eventually got a room). This is not the way to treat paying guests. I followed this up with BW Customer Service and the hotel. The upshot was from the hotel lobby manager, we have sent you a gift card use it or throw it in the garbage. She then hung up the phone. Stay here at your peril. A nightmare

"Very nice property"
Kevin P, 19 Mai 2018

I was in town for pleasure and booked a king bed suite with the kitchen. It was quite spacious and the bed was comfortable. The included breakfast was very good, better than I had expected. The room was clean, the property well kept, the nice very nice. My only complaint (more a suggestion/heads up to those renting a room with a kitchen) is that there were no plates/utensils in the kitchens. To the owners, you really should stock the kitchens with the basics, there was nothing at all in the kitchen, not even a bottle opener.

"Great place, and pet friendly!"
Sandi D, 03 Mai 2018

Staff was wonderful, checking in was fast, and the room was nice and also comfortable. The only things that could make it better would have been a microwave and for the internet to not disconnect so often. Not sure what was going on and I was too tired to report it, so I can't blame them.

"The best of Best Western"
rbenn8, 29 Avril 2018

One of the best Best Western at which I have stayed. Both the room, facilities and staff were outstanding. When I left something in the room after checking out, I received a call from a member of the staff. They arranged to package and ship the item to my home.

"Great accommodation let down by one thing"
johnash, 20 Avril 2018

We visited last 2012 and since then, the rooms have been refurbished. Big comfortable room which we could park in front of, which is a big asset for us. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker (with real china mugs - excellent!) etc etc. Basic motel breakfast available, included in the price. There is no guest laundry here but apparently one is in the planning. It seemed to be the busiest motel in town so that speaks for itself. BUT, they provide the worst, cheapest toilet paper I have ever come across in any hotel anywhere. Skimping on that essential item really is a false economy. If I were to stay again, I have to remember to pack my own roll! Recommended, despite that!

"GOOD POSITION"
Gwendaphil, 15 Avril 2018

Situated on the main street, it's probably the only motel in the central area. Looks very much as you'd expect. The young lady at reception was very friendly and helpful. The room was of average size but the bathroom was very small and the shower was dark. Small pool in the car park. The breakfast was fairly average but (pet hate of mine) they stop at 9 a.m. Too early when on vacation. Houskeeping were a bit hit and miss when leaving coffee etc. Overall a good place to stay when in town.

"Last minute reservation."
SDTravelBug, 11 Avril 2018

Friendly staff, clean comfortable room. Great water pressure in the shower and bed was comfortable. Nice pool area although it was under construction, we were still able to use it. Location is excellent!! Breakfast was good all the standard continental items.

"Spotlessly clean and wonderfully quaint!"
Cheryl T, 02 Avril 2018

The entire motel was spotless and the staff were great. The room had very old fixtures that were wonderfully maintained and functional which added to the feeling of stepping back in time (quaint!!). The location was great. Walking distance to some great eateries and the townsite with shops and an art gallery. Overall, a WONDERFUL experience. Our only disappointment was that we didn't have longer to experience the quaint and beautiful little town. Next time we'll know to stay longer.

"Great location in a great little town"
Mejo O, 26 Mars 2018

The location of the Best Western Rancho Grande in Wickenburg couldn't have been better. We were there to attend the CowgirlUp! art exhibition at the Desert Caballeros Western Museum. Everything, museum, food, shopping was within minutes of our room. The room was a tad dated, but very clean. We didn't have any issues.

"Good Place to Stay"
rony666, 21 Mars 2018

Stayed there on our way to Peoria for Spring Training to avoid the outrageous prices in the Phoenix area. Older hotel, but very nice sized room, comfortable bed, excellent restaurant (need to tone down the lighting, though), good front desk staff. We'd stay there again.

"Wickenburg, AZ spring visit"
Harry M, 15 Mars 2018

Visit in Wickenburg, AZ was a nice time to visit this old Western Town and stayed at a nice Old Western styled hotel. The hotel was very clean and had very comfortable beds. The breakfast was a nice mix of items for a hearty country breakfast. Would recommend this hotel if you like to be within walking distance to the unique downtown area for the antiques and museums, of which there are many to see.

"Worst Best Western I have ever stayed at"
henders0n2018, 26 Février 2018

First problem I had was when I called to confirm the deluxe room I had reserved months in advance had a microwave, fridge and sofa, and the clerk could not confirm it despite local literature and brochures all over Wickenburg advertising fridges in every room. I was then switched to a king suite because it had a fridge. This room was not habitable. It was freezing in Wickenburg that weekend, and with huge gaps under both the front and back doors and a cap on the heating unit in the room at 78 degrees, we were freezing all weekend. We had to plug blankets under both doors, and with concrete floors with no padding under the thin, worn carpet, drafts from every window and weak barely blowing heating, the room was never warm. The shower had low pressure. The carpet had cut up pieces in spots with torn carpeting all along the walls, and dank, dark furnishings. The curtains were too thick to pull back from the windows to allow in light. The bed was uncomfortable, a lamp did not work, and this is the only time I've ever seen a room stocked with only two towels and two cups. No do not disturb sign in the room, and no freezer in the mini-fridge, so $10 worth of frozen food we brought was spoiled. This room was a dump. It was NOT worth the high price I paid, and because it looked NOTHING like the pictures online I will be disputing part of my charge, complaining to AAA about their rating of the hotel, and Best Western corporate. Maybe other people have had good experiences at this hotel, but I was royally screwed and ripped off, and my impression is they are cheap, cheap, cheap, with horrible maintenance, lousy housekeeping, and misleading advertising of their hotel rooms online.

"Good Hotel in Old Town Wickenburg"
thewixter, 06 Février 2018

Stayed here on a drive from Kingman to Phoenix. Nice updated motel with modern rooms and comfortable beds. Right in Old Town Wickenburg with several good options for dining within a few blocks of the hotel. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

"Worst (Fake) Eggs I Ever Ate"
David T, 05 Février 2018

We got the deluxe king room. It was okay in most ways but had thin walls, so neighbor noises kept us awake. It wasn't special in any way, just larger than a typical hotel room. The check-in staff was great, but the breakfast was the worst of any Best Western we've stayed in, and that's a large number.

"Best Breakfast!!"
Lil7Bays, 04 Février 2018

We stayed at several Best Western's on our winter trip and usually ate the same breakfast foods. I enjoy the treat of making a fresh waffle while my husband goes for the biscuits and gravy. My waffle turned out perfectly with such good flavor. I appreciated their use of bulk syrup using a serving bottle instead of the inferior tasteless individual packets elsewhere, Nice touch! My husband remarked how the gravy was seasoned better than he'd had and made for a fantastic breakfast experience. We will return here for a quiet nights rest and an outstanding breakfast on our next pass through Arizona!

"Awesome staff, clean rooms!!"
CornDude, 29 Janvier 2018

My wife and I stayed at the Rancho Grande in Wickenburg a couple days ago and the staff was very friendly and helpful. My wife has pet dander allergies, so we appreciated that they had a few NO-PET rooms. This convenience of this motel being downtown and walking distance to many shops and restaurants is nice. We always ask for a room on the upper level if possible so you don't hear "thumpers" above us, and in this case, the floors were "creaky" when just walking on them, so we were glad to have a top floor room. It's an older motel, yet, they maintain it nicely. We were close to Hwy 60 and traffic noise was present. Nice breakfast in the morning. We'd stay again when in the area. It would be nice to have a couple of non-pet rooms on the one-story level away from the highway though.

"Wickenburg for conference"
I9700QBedwardp, 29 Janvier 2018

Room was just adequate bed was too soft Just there to sleep 2 nights served it's purpose. Breakfast was standard motel fare neither good nor bad Staff was very helpful with dinner suggestions Town is very nice to walk around in. Real cowboy town.

"Wife's Birthday "
jamescV3757VN, 16 Janvier 2018

My wife's Birthday was Thursday January 11th and she wanted to go to Wickenburg so we stayed Friday and Saturday at the Best Western Rancho Grande. As always it was everything we expected. We requested room 204 when we called for the reservation and it was booked for us, we love that place as it is centrally located and in walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The rooms are huge, beds comfortable and the staff goes out of their way to accommodate all our needs. We have stayed here about 9 or 10 times now and have never been disappointed.

"great location, a conglomeration of rooms"
W Alan W, 11 Janvier 2018

this hotel has a great location in town however the rooms have little or no water pressure or water flow. we had a basement room down the ramp from the parking lot at headlight level. the people above us were extremely noisy when they came in at midnight. the smoker next door sat on the porch and kept us from being able to open our door and using our patio

"sonia"
Donald E, 06 Janvier 2018

the hotel was awesome. so nice to have glass glasses and mugs to drink from. The beds were so comfortable and the pillows were great. the choices at breakfast were awesome. Everything was so fresh. Very convenient location.

"Great hotel, Great Value, Perfect Location"
sharonjX4018IW, 04 Janvier 2018

This is an excellent hotel. The location is perfect for those that love to walk to shops and restaurants. Its an older hotel that's being renovated but we had no problems with noise. We had a great experience and will come back again.

"nice stay"
bperr0ne, 30 Décembre 2017

this hotel is walking distance of downtown. Staff was very friendly and quick to point out restaurants near by. Room was very clean but had a slight smoking odor even though the entire hotel appeared to be non smoking. Breakfast was well prepared, hot and quick. Would definitely stay here again.

"Not the best Best Western"
gr8fl1, 26 Décembre 2017

We typically stay at Best Westerns when we travel. This hotel was a disappointment as our section was very dated and tired feeling. The bath tub was original 50's with faucets that made for a scalding or freezing shower experience. Light bulbs were out and was informed maintenance was gone for the day! Not the usual Best Western experience.

"Comfortable and great location"
gabaldonshari, 18 Décembre 2017

Probably one of the best hotels in Wickenburg. Great location for walking to shopping and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We did not take advantage of the free breakfast. Our room was very clean and comfy. Coffee pot provided in room. Nice fluffy towels/wc's. Big comfy comforter on bed. We had a room on the bottom and could hear the people above us walking around late at night so we recommend asking for a room on the top floor.

"Great Place To Stay"
Randy P, 16 Décembre 2017

Close to shopping and places to eat. Very clean and comfortable room king bed, microwave, two burner stovetop, 2 comfortable chairs to watch TV. nice bathroom, easy parking. Front desk helped us check in our elderly mother-in-law how got dizzy on our drive to hotel. Great breakfast.

"Very Rude Owners & Staff"
M6221VMalanb, 09 Décembre 2017

Stay for business. Over the years I have placed many film crews at this hotel. New Owners are rude, untrustworthy and do not have the guests best interest at heart. I will not return to this hotel because of this management. Wickenburg deserves better.

"Very Nice Hotel"
172jeaniner, 08 Décembre 2017

We were quite happy with our stay. The room was clean and well appointed. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The free breakfast was much better than we expected. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely stay here the next time we are in Wickenberg

"Listen to Bar Brawls from your Room"
K267UOrebeccap, 03 Décembre 2017

The location is great: easy to find, and walking distance to most of the town's special treats. The room was old, with a very few upgrades. Many layers of old paint were noticeable, old & ugly motel lamps mixed with dim light fixtures were unappealing. I asked for a room with a kitchenette. I received a room with a mini fridge with a microwave stashed over in a corner. It was very dormroom-eque. The bathroom tile looks like it has NEVER been cleaned properly. The water pressure was on point... great way to wake up. The tub was TINY!!! The cable tv package was huge. The pool was clean, and decently maintained. The hot breakfast was decent, but for the love of God, get some Cheese!!!! No cheese was an odd letdown each day. The staff was mainly friendly, but I felt like I was checking into a poor trailer park. Best western; Please pay your staff more, and give them more training. They all seemed to have great intentions, but mediocre abilities to communicate. Even when they attempted to be overwhelmingly nice, it came across as brash. If you want to go to a local bar, but don't feel like walking 2 blocks, this is the place for you. Windows closed, loud AC on, I still was forced to listed to karaoke, bands, and drunken fights from the local bar: as early as 6:00 and flowing through to 2:30. That was the worst part of my stay.

"Try to find somewhere else."
D3714YAjohnh, 23 Novembre 2017

We recently came into Wickenburg for a show at the Del Webb Center for the Performing Arts. We, or I, picked this Best Western as it got decent reviews and there doesn't seem to be many choices. Next time I will do more research. I can say two positives: First the room was spacious and it was generally clean. Other wise I don't have much to say that is positive. When I entered the lobby to check in, it smelled. The next day when I checked out it didn't. The staff was nice. They did recommend a good restaurant. The room like I said was clean, but dated. Also whoever does there maintenance doesn't do much better than I can and I'm no handyman. Painted over imperfections on the walls and popcorn ceiling. The bed appeared lumpy but was comfortable. We were woken up a couple of times by a train blowing it's horn. Apparently the train tracks are two blocks away. The room was nice and dark for sleeping until somebody turned on a porch light that was next to our bathroom window. The bathroom window was frosted but no covering. The light shining through this window lit up the room. No difficulty finding your way around in the "dark" or needing a night light. If we ever come back to Wickenburg, sorry to say but we will not stay here again.

"They didn't even clear the other guests items out of the room."
192deborahn, 13 Novembre 2017

When we checked in, the first thing we saw were the prior guests boots and scruffy blanket by and on the neatly made bed. Were the sheets clean? I am not sure. There was also clothing hanging in the bathroom, a shower poof and personal shampoo in the shower. It felt like I was checking into the Bates Motel.

"personal"
X5925KGmichelem, 10 Novembre 2017

overall, i like best westerns for cleanliness and complimentary breakfast quality. in particular the ones in historical cities and out of the way locations. This hotel is in historic oldtown and within walking distance from many attractions.

"Wickenburg with a Western Feel"
Friends-on-vacation, 09 Novembre 2017

We had 2 very clean rooms in a very quiet area, but still was close to all the shops, restaurants, grocery store, museum, and bars. The rooms had a nice feature with a private patio on the back side of the building. When we decided to move on to a different city, the staff didn't give us any problems shortening our stay and only charging us for the nights we were there.

"Nothing Spectacular"
debbierM7973YC, 05 Novembre 2017

The room was nothing to brag about but it was a good night's sleep. They did have a better than average breakfast and there were multiple small restaurants within walking distance of the motel. It is a horse town and the decor reflected it. The availability of hot water was poor so get the hot coffee ready after.

"nice place, glad we chose it."
Elizabeth L, 11 Octobre 2017

Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast one of the best we've had. Good location for folks passing through. Super clean and comfortable beds. We were a little concerned when given a room across the parking lot and sort of isolated, was fine with two of us, but creeped out if I'd been alone.

"Loved this place"
Laura L, 09 Octobre 2017

We stayed 2 nights here and totally enjoyed it. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring Old Town Wickenburg on foot. The staff was friendly and helpful, even asking if we had directions to our next destination. The breakfast was a nice selection of food and the area comfortable for eating. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

"Very Nice"
anncX624EH, 04 Octobre 2017

The hotel is nicely appointed. The hotel is located within easy walking distance ofo the "Old Town" tourist area. The office staff is courteous and professional, very helpful. Very nice hot breakfast with fresh fruit, hot cereal, eggs, sausage or bacon, biscuits & gravy, pancakes, waffles, cold cereal and assorted pastries and muffins. Very clean.

"Great Stay Beautiful Hotel"
36nancyj, 21 Septembre 2017

The Hotel was such a beautiful place to stay the rooms were perfect and very clean and comfortable. We had a great breakfast the next morning. We will be back I hope maybe next year. We were on a road trip across the United States and this hotel was the best.

"Rooms in Need of Upgrade"
maddoggss, 20 Septembre 2017

Wickenburg is a small town and not many hotel options. The guest rooms at this hotel are in need of renovation and improvement. The bathroom looks like from the 1950's and the air conditioner is musty and stale. This hotel was a disappointment and I was with a group of 5 people and they had the same experience.

"Needs some TLC"
dancT9379WO, 17 Septembre 2017

The property needs some attention. For at least some of the rooms, their is a large gap under the door which allows in bugs, dirt, and hot air. The cover to the exhaust fan in the kitchenette was broken and lying on the counter. The mattress pad and sheets wouldn't stay in place making the bed uncomfortable.

"Not up to regular standards"
Mopar05, 09 Septembre 2017

We have stayed at this property several times. This time we were very disappointed. Normally we get a family suite but this time we just got two queens. The room (231) was not clean the door was hard to open and close. There were food crumbs on one of the beds, the space between the he'd of the bed and wall was filthy, the bed skirts haven't been changed in so long they are no longer blue but brown with built up dust. One of the bed frames was bent. There was piled dirt on the window sill. An obvious leak in the roof. Overall did not give a good impression or feeling of cleanliness. If we hadn't been so tired and it wasn't raining we would have asked for another room. Also there was a large group of I think hunters staying at the hotel they were gathered outside blocking the route to the rooms had to literally walk thru them to get to our room. Not faulting the group but if you have a large group traveling together why not put families in rooms away from the large group? They were all up very early to leave which woke us up. We were traveling with our 4 yr old grandson... we needed all the sleep we could get. Hopefully this was a one off stay. I will give it another try next trip, but there are to many newer hotels 30 miles down the road to choose from rather than pay for substandard conditions. A shame cause I reall like the older hotels.

"Love the feel of Mexico and personal touches"
LeoladyAZ, 08 Septembre 2017

I love everything about this independently owned Best Western. Our first requirement for any place we stay is that it has pet friendly non-smoking rooms. (Note: Being responsible pet parents we never leave our dog alone in the room.) The general layout has a Mexican rancho feel. A very nice touch is the tile murals on the walls. There are large ones in more public areas and small ones on the walls between the rooms. Even the outside fire extinguisher has a tile surround. We stayed in Room 226 which was spacious, very clean and tastefully decorated with special touches, such as woven Mexican style rug/bed scarfs across the foot of each bed which added color to the pure white fluffy duvets and pillows. Our room was close to a generous grass dog walking area and complimentary poo pick-up bags. The WiFi signal was strong and secure when using the log-in codes. The sink area had two levels of lighting, one regular and one brighter make-up level. I appreciate the complimentary in-room coffee. This person does not move without my first cup of coffee. The coffee stirrers were sustainable bamboo. The room was quiet despite being near the room with the ice machine. We never heard any ice buckets being filled or the ice making cycle. Having a complimentary full breakfast means my husband and I can take turns staying with our dog in the room. We get an earlier start due to the convenience of being able to walk a short distance to breakfast. There were plenty of choices, yogurt, cereal, eggs, sausage, sweet rolls, mixed fruit, whole bananas, juice, biscuits and gravy, and great coffee or teas. I recommend the Best Western Rancho Grande and would plan our next trip so we could stay there.

"The "Best" Best Western"
Ira Joe D, 06 Septembre 2017

The rooms are always clean, beds are comfortable, the staff are great. The pool and grounds are well kept. They cater to your parties individual needs. they are in the heart of downtown Wickenburg close to shopping.

"The Good, Bad & Ugly"
2Break90, 28 Août 2017

The good - front desk staff friendly and welcoming. The king bed comfortable. The bad - old property. Old motel rooms show their age despite updates. Water temperature of shower impossible to regulate - either too hot or too cold. The ugly - dozens of little black bugs on walls, ceiling, lampshades. They are harmless, but gross. Would not return.

"Nice hotel"
gordong203, 21 Août 2017

We enjoyed our stay here. It's very unique compared to other Best Westerns. The staff at the desk were very friendly and helpful! Room had a nice southwestern decor, plenty of space, and clean.I would suggest staying here when in the area!

"nice place"
Jen B, 20 Août 2017

clean room, liked parking directly in front of the room, pool looked refreshing, very nice staff, good breakfast, just missing potatos, convenient to a few restaurants, cute town. good value using best western rewards

"Wickenburg Vacy"
Sheri V, 08 Août 2017

My husband had an early morning tee time at Wickenburg Ranch Golf Course so we decided to come up the day before and check out the town. Everyone I came in contact with at the hotel was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good, biscuits and gravy is my favorite and the bacon was good. I spent time in the dining area reading the paper and taking in the view. There's plenty too do here. The room was comfortable and quiet. We booked one of the suite rooms which is a little larger and enjoyed the extra space. We sat out on the little balcony and watched a thunderstorm roll in. Definitely will stay here again.

"Old Property with great location"
H182RJjohnw, 31 Juillet 2017

Staff was wonderful. Breakfast was very good. Room was not as cool as it should have been. It was Quiet and had a comfortable bed but the room smelled slightly of mildew due to age of property. It was under renovation which should help.

"AWESOME"
davidbI2259SD, 30 Juillet 2017

This is by far my favorite hotel when in Arizona. My husband and I only stay at BW because it's the only hotel that offers us EVERYTHING we expect in a hotel. Clean, convenient breakfast , friendly, helpful staff, comfortable beds and nice decor.

"Wickenberg Pet Friendly"
Nancy H, 24 Juillet 2017

Pet Friendly room. Easy freeway access. Rooms are very nice. Great shower and comfortable beds. Very clean.Hi speed internet included. Getting there after dark it is harder to find parking and your room. And if you are moving and have a Uhaul please note you will have to park that off site.

"Surprisingly nice!"
Wongudriter, 22 Juillet 2017

Although an older property, we loved our extra large king room. Very clean and comfortable with a good air conditioner. Nice little touches, like the TV remote was sterilized. Friendly staff. And the price was far better than the other highly-rated place in town. Would stay there again.

"Great Experience"
kurtw797, 20 Juillet 2017

Overall, had a great experience. We took advantage of the pool, the breakfasts had a good variety of fresh foods and were filling, and the room and amenities were clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

"Pleasant stay in a fascinating town"
roydocklands, 18 Juillet 2017

Very pleasant motel in the centre of this small town. Short walk to a selection of bars and restaurants. We chose a Mexican restaurant mentioned by the hotel manager - a good recommendation. We would certainly stay again if we were in the area.

"great place"
544jessew, 07 Juillet 2017

It was 115 degrees. We had a doctors appointment in Phoenix so we were looking for a cooler place with shade. Nice place to help beat the heat. Everything worked, clean and cool. The sprawling layout is lovely. You can pick your shady corner. We will stay there again.

"Greatest pool!"
Greg H, 02 Juillet 2017

This BW was very clean, the pool was fantastic and staff were very friendly and helpful. It is situated in an area convenient to all of Wickenburg - most within walking distance. We had one of the handicapped rooms and there was ample space for everything.

"Good Place and Quality Staff"
Fitz51, 28 Juin 2017

Room nicely furnished for an overnight stay. Very clean and had the basic amenities. Hotel located conveniently if you are into a walk around historic downtown area. Also if you have a dog, a park is right next door. The only negative was the air conditioner was a bit loud. The front desk staff were very helpful. I had a mid morning meeting and they let me extend my check out time by an hour with no charge. Overall very satisfied.

"Only hotel in town"
ymroemmich, 28 Juin 2017

Walking distance to everything. Whether it's to get something to eat or go shopping this hotel is located in the perfect spot. I believe they're remodeling because when we were there just a few days ago June 24, 2017 several rooms were closed, and I hoping they were being remodeling because it needed a redo. The staff is super friendly and helpful, breakfast is great and overall a cute town.

"dissappointed"
Richard W, 26 Juin 2017

the place is very old, dirty, poorly run, unfreindly staff, lousy breakfast food, stinky rooms, dirty towels...whatever is poor...they own it and dont care. obviously owned by $$$ interested people willing to provide just the minimum. I would NOT EVER recommend anyone stay here unless it is midnight and you're stuck between Phoenix and Vegas.

"Awesome !!!"
721glent, 18 Juin 2017

What a lovely southwestern style gem. Staff was awesome. Pool area pristine. Grounds well kept. Super peaceful. Room was so comfy, clean, well maintained. Loved having little patio area to have coffee in the mornings and see palm trees:) Only was going to stay 1 night but stayed 2. One of the Best we've stayed at !

"Ruby wedding trip"
John G, 14 Juin 2017

We stayed here for 1 night only in this great little hotel in great location of wickenburg. The hotel was in a superb location in this great little town. The hotel provided breakfast free of charge and was quite nice Spent the afternoon around the nice little tree shaded pool. We wished we had stayed the extra night and will revisit in the future.

"Sorta nice"
colonialmist, 03 Juin 2017

This place is in a spanish style with tiles on all the walkways. They even had tiled paintings. Everything works well but the rooms are a little dark. The beds were springy but comfy. Breakfast was what you would get at any BW.

"Older but very well appointed"
Gary K, 28 Mai 2017

This is a very well kept hotel. It is a little older but is so well kept that it adds to the quaintness of the community. The internet connection is excellent and the room was very comfortable. The staff is also very pleasant and competent. Great place to stay!

"Great Place with Friendly Staff"
Lisa A, 15 Mai 2017

This Best Western is in a great location, close to restaurants and a short walk to a beautiful bridge across the Yavapai River. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet. They get especially high marks for service. When I got home I realized I'd left my phone charger so I called. They mailed my charger to me so quickly my battery never died.

"Old West"
Paulette E, 09 Mai 2017

Whole town has the old west feel - including this motel. Cons: no bathroom fan (it's outside!) Noisy window a.c., long walk to unheard pool, needs plug in for phones Pros: Quiet except for one very noisy train a night, nice patio by room with huge palm trees & starry sky, pretty good bfast, workers friendly, good beds, carpet, paint Easy walk to food & shopping I'd stay here again - just wish they'd add a hot tub!

"Very nice hotel and very nice breakfast"

"Family"
matea s, 02 Avril 2017

The stay was fine, but the price was not. I called and the man told me that there was only one room left, king bed. He told me that it was for $140 + tax which we were fine with. The next morning we went up to check out and it cost $232 the paper said the room cost $207 with state tax of $25 when we told them that the man on the phone told us that it would be $140 + tax and when we got there he also said that they said we were lying. Just horrible all together the bed sucked and the staff was rude. We will never go back.

"A beautiful refreshing stay"
1gilbertap, 28 Mars 2017

We were totally new to the community and this hotel looked beautiful on the outside. We went online and read the reviews. Then I called the hotel and had a very cordial conversation with Bruce. I said I would be right over. It was a beautiful well maintained hotel--a very nice stay.

"Bad beds"
donaL5564BJ, 27 Mars 2017

Rooms were small, bathrooms were minuscule. AC was loud. Beds were miserable. Parking was tight and the walls between the rooms were thin. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine with a good variety and spacious accommodations

"Nice quiet place to stay"
RetireeKelowna, 27 Novembre 2016

We were on a little golf get away to Wickenburg and decided to stay the night se we could play two different courses. Our king room was nice and clean . The breakfast was fine. Our room was in a quiet area do you didn't here any traffic noise. When we checked in Pat was very helpful.

"Clean, convenient and comfortable."

A very nice surprise for such a small town. Very close to the heart of this very pleasant old western town. Everything was clean and the breakfast was good. Rooms were recently upgraded to modern standards.

"very nice place"

i would reccomend this place to anyone who is traveling. this is absolutely one of the best places i have ever stayed.the atmosphere, the genre of the settings, beautiful/ if you are ever in the area, this is the place to stay.

"Safe haven in a storm"
madi-oma, 22 Novembre 2016

Tired and hardly able to see in the rain, I stopped in this motel, primarily because it was the first one I saw AND it was a Best Western, which is generally good. The clerk was quite helpful about nearby restaurants when I checked in (without a reservation), the rate was reasonable and the room was fine.

"Enjoyed My Stay"
Joan W, 22 Novembre 2016

I have stayed here before and appreciate the convenient location (on Hwy 60 in the center of town within walking distance of many restaurants and the Desert Caballeros Museum), the super clean rooms and common areas, and the wonderful staff. There are many nearby places to eat and the front desk has a thick book with copies of all the menus including those of places that deliver. I had a room in the back and it was very quiet-no noise from traffic or other guests. The bed was very comfortable and I felt safe. On the negative side-I have never seen a worse selection of TV channels, there was no built in TV guide and although the TV was newer, the screen size was limited as there were black areas across the top and bottom making for a narrow viewing area. I was there on a stormy Sunday night when nearly everything was closed because "winter hours" were in effect and I had hoped to watch TV. The lighting in the room was dimmer than I would have liked for reading in bed. The wall mounted lamp was between the two double beds and required my getting out of bed to turn it on and off and the switch was hard to locate in the dark. Although the newly remodelled front lobby was impressive, my room was depressing. A blue chair, green curtains, a patterned carpeting that clashed with the colors and different bold pattern on the blanket on the bed, were not welcoming or soothing when you opened the door. Breakfast started at 6 AM and I wanted to leave early so was the first person there. I am a member of the BW rewards program and was using points for a free night. There was a $30 charge the front desk person could not explain so I waited until manager arrived to resolve the issue which delayed my intended departure a little bit.

"Good Rest and Food"
671olafb, 22 Novembre 2016

Everyone was cordial and informative to surroundings that we could enjoy-nice place and good food for the breakfast. We recommend this place to travelers along with seeing The Western Museum while there...Don't miss it. Oh, sleeping was great on their beds. Enjoyed the stay. Had a great breakfast after a good night of rest. The staff at the hotel were very nice and we enjoyed them. We will be back sometime in the future.

"Great Stay"
Peggy H, 18 Novembre 2016

Pet friendly and very comfortable. Friendly staff and ultra clean rooms. Great bed. Good breakfast with lots of options. Lots to do within walking distance and nice area. Would stay again if passing through.

"Great Place To Stay"
LadyJLasVegas, 15 Novembre 2016

This is our 2nd visit to this hotel. On this occasion, we were attending a festival. The Best Western room was spotless and extremely comfortable. There's a fridge and microwave, which makes life easier. There are sufficient chairs so one of us didn't have to watch tv on the bed (so uncomfy when that happens). The hotel is located near all kids of restaurants, a block from their great museum, down the street from antique shops. All in all, perfect. We didn't use the pool, so I can't speak to that. There is, alas, no hot tub. There's a comfortable breakfast room with the usual grim fare for breakfast (hockey puck eggs, no fresh oatmeal) but decent coffee. The hotel was quite busy, yet we were not disturbed by noise from other guests. The office is open 24/7, making things much easier for those of us who leave early. We'd definitely stay here again.

"Two Day Getaway"
two4theroad_7, 06 Novembre 2016

The Best Western Rancho Grande's location is right off the highway exit. There are many places to eat and shop within walking distance. Prices are more than fair for food. Few places are as charming as Wickenburg. Everyone we met was willing to strike up a conversation or help when needed. The town has a must see cowboy museum ($10.00) and a walking tour presenting the history of Wickenburg. Pick up a self tour pamphlet at the chamber of commerce. The hotel is old and very clean. The owner and staff are as good as it gets. The breakfast is the average for BW which really isn't bad these days. I wouldn't want to stay here in the summer because the air conditioner is located in the bathroom area and fans are required to help cool the room. Overall our oversized room was comfortable with a refrigerator and a microwave.

"just passing on way to vegas"
ianandlynda2015, 01 Novembre 2016

we were 3 guys from england on a road trip on our way back to las vegas airport we needed an overnight stop and were passing wickenburg, its a quaint oldish town with bars, good eating places and a few motels/motels the rancho grande was right on the main street as you enter the town,it had a good pool, good breakfast and reasonable rooms, friendly staff and great location its worth trying out

"Golfing Trip"
David M, 18 Octobre 2016

Good hotel for our annual golfing trip. Location was perfect. Could hear the trains go by in the late night and early morning. I still could sleep. Hotel was close to downtown and nearby food chains. This would be a great place to stay for any type of visit.

"A nice hotel"
SueinSalem, 14 Octobre 2016

The room was large and comfortable. It was clean and smelled good. The bathroom had good amenities and the towels were soft and fluffy. It was nice to have the vanity and sink separate from the shower and toilet. The room had a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and a TV. The Internet worked well. The price was $86 per night. One bad part was that the floors creaked and we could hear people above and next door. The other odd thing was that the microwave and refrigerator cabinet was back in a corner and the second bed obstructed the use of it. The breakfast was the typical offerings but they also had Activa yogurt which is a nice change.

"Suprisingly nice older hotel!"
Julie B, 12 Octobre 2016

We expected a so-so experience after booking a night at this hotel online. It was a very pleasant surprise to find this traditional Southwest-décor hotel being renovated and very comfortable! Lobby was being refurbished, but our room was clean, modern, and nicely decorated. Located near downtown amenities and very accessible. We'll return - and we definitely recommend this hotel to others.

"Friendly, Comfortable and Clean"
Sandra C, 11 Octobre 2016

What a great hotel, this hotel has new owners that really care for their customers. They are in the process of remodeling their lobby. The rooms are large and comfortable. Good air conditioning for those hot days. This hotel in right in old town, near restaurants, some great shops and bars for a cold beer. All around great place to stay.

"Wonderful town and hotel!"
Joe A, 10 Octobre 2016

Nice clean quite room, awesome pool area, friendly and accommodating new owner. Lobby was in the middle of being remodeled when we arrived, staff was apologetic and very helpful with dinner questions I had. My 11 year old daughter just wanted to get in the pool after our 10 hour drive, she wasn't disappointed, beautiful palm trees surround the newly painted updated pool area. Breakfast was nice, we will be back!

"This is a great property!"
steponeCanada, 01 Octobre 2016

This is a fantastic little gem in Wickenburg. friendly staff, very accommodating, and extremely clean rooms, also a very easy in and out for my truck and trailer. A pet friendly option that doesn't disappoint. Many thanks to Melody and Pat for your service. I would highly recommend this hotel.

"Nice stay in a small town"
anchman, 26 Septembre 2016

Very nice and comfortable stay. A little dated...but was very, very comfortable. Room was big and quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend if staying the night in Wickenburg.

"Road trip"
MissBlue2, 25 Septembre 2016

We stay here everything we go EAST on a road trip. Every room is different, you have the Adobe which are very quaint, cool and comfortable. This trip we had room 208 with a king size bed, microwave, refrigerator. It's very large with a sliding door to a little balcony. Very nice and clean. Oh did I mention quiet? They have new owner, what really nice folks they are in the middle of remodeling the lobby and still had breakfast the next morning. Wow I was amazed. Stay here, you'll like it.

"By far the best one in town"
Dietmar M, 23 Septembre 2016

Our room seemed to have been remodeled. The furnishing is not the newest one but has that typical southwestern charm. The spacy room was clean and proper. We received a friendly welcome at the reception and confirm a friendly staff. The hotel is situated midst of Wickenburg where you can reach all attractions by feet. We had a pleasant stay.

"Great Hotel in a Quaint Town"
Jane T, 14 Septembre 2016

Stayed in Wickenburg the first night on our way to Tombstone. The hotel looked newly painted and the room was huge! We had a pet friendly room in the back; they have a really nice dog potty area nearby. They even had a doggie welcome package. The decor of the room was really nice. Upon arrival, the gentleman at check in was super friendly and very helpful. The town was pretty much closed when we arrived; but I would like to spend time exploring if I get another chance. It looked really neat and had some cool looking shops. Also the museum looked interesting. Had a really good Mexican Dinner from El Ranchero Restaurant up the road a bit. Highly recommend staying here.

"We stay here every year!"
William B, 04 Septembre 2016

We come every year. The owners continue to improve and upgrade the hotel. We had 3 rooms this year, and we chatted about how the BW franchise seemed to go down hill years ago. No longer the case. We both compared notes from various cities in our travels the last number of years, and the BW's we'd stayed at. The consensus is that BW owners have worked at improving their locations and raising the level of the franchise. Most surprising have been the locations in smaller towns, desert, and farm communities.

"Fantastic"
User, 02 Septembre 2016

Short but sweet. This is by far one of the best mid-priced hotels where I have stayed. Clean and nicely appointed. The hotel is right in town, thus near the delightful town. Unfortunately we were heading elsewhere and unable to take in the town. I look forward to returning in the near future and plan to stay here. It proves a non-luxury hotel doesn't have to be a tasteless pit.

"Nice Place"
HeikeMB, 26 Août 2016

I had driven from Cedar City, Utah. I did not want to go through Phoenix at rush hour. I tried to make reservations from Wikieup, and Pat tried to get me the room I asked for. We were cut off, I couldn't get through to her, but when I finally got there, Pat took good care of me, and gave me a great room.

"Wickenburg is a great place, and the Best Western Rancho Grande makes it even better"
Jim V, 26 Août 2016

Nice rooms, nice people at the Bes Western Rancho Grande. I always love to stay there. Even when I am on business, I check out the town. There is a great museum and lots of good bars and interesting shops. Just don't drink the water from the Hassayampa River - you'll never tell the truth again. I didn't drink it, so you can believe this. :)

"Quaint, friendly staff, clean; just a great stay"
Teri D, 11 Août 2016

I just love staying at the Wickenburg Best Western. It's always clean, consistently friendly and helpful staff, and just as quaint as it can be. It's quiet for a good nights sleep as i'm usually staying a week at a time for business. Always a very pleasant stay!

"Not accommodating."
Roy P, 10 Août 2016

Four of us visited Wickenburg for a golf outing and booed two rooms. Our room was ok, but was in need of some TLC. Paint was peeling off in the bathroom and there were chips and marks along the walls. The other couple's room was so tiny and crowded that four people could barely visit. The check-in and check-out staff was not friendly or accommodating, and made a strong point of telling us that we could not have a late check-out, even though they were not booked for the next day. As we were playing golf early in the morning, it would have been nice to have had a late check-out. I would not recommend this motel, and for sure, will not be staying there again.

"Great location!"
vonnette m, 05 Août 2016

I loved this hotel. The location was great and the hotel offered so much information on what to see and do in the town. The rooms were spacious. There was plenty of parking and it was easy to find during our travels. I hope to be able to come back for a longer stay in the future!

"Overpriced"
HeeNalu1969, 30 Juillet 2016

The property is overpriced for the area and quality. The rooms are not well lit, seem to be always musty in smell. The check in procedure took way longer than required. The pool does not appear to be properly maintained. Additionally, the walls are not well insulated for sound. Traffic and trains make for a less than ideal night sleep.

"Clean, close, comfortable"
John G, 28 Juillet 2016

We stayed here one night in the off season (summer) en route to Flagstaff. It's a very clean, quiet, and close hotel. The room was well furnished and had nice decor. Staff was friendly and helpful The breakfast was very good. Pool was nice and parking was easy.

"Second stay just okay"
neeliec, 25 Juillet 2016

We stayed here 5 years ago, and the review I wrote at the time indicated we were happy with our room - a ground floor unit around the corner from the office. This time our experience was average. I had requested a ground floor unit with 2 beds when I made the reservation online. I'm disabled and can't climb stairs easily. When we checked in the young lady said there were no ground floor units with the bed arrangement we wanted, but she did have a room in the 2-story building at the back of the property that had a "ramp" so I said okay. We found the room, which was actually below the parking lot level, but the ramp was not very close. Hubby went to check the room and couldn't open the door. We tried each key twice, and a young lady staying next door helped us try. No luck. Hubby hiked back up to the office, and was told we had been given the wrong "packet." He was given keys to a room farther down the building - again not too close to the down ramp. I actually managed to climb up and down the short set of steps (maybe 6?) that was closer to our room. There were several areas where the metal railing was very loose & wobbly and seemed like it could have given way if a lot of pressure was put on. The room was clean, the beds a little soft, and there were bunches of pillows. The toilet made a funny whining sound after flushing, but it stopped after awhile. There was a nice large screen TV. A couple of channels had picture but no sound...not sure what that was about. Hubby enjoyed the breakfast onsite. Last time we stayed they didn't offer breakfast, but gave us discount coupons for a restaurant across the street. There was lots and lots of plant debris all over the walkways and parking lot. The weather was kind of windy so I guess that's why. One suggestion to management - please look into replacing the Arizona flag flying out at the front of the property. The one we saw was in sad shape. Overall an okay stay, a good price, and a convenient location. It was close to where we needed to be for the purpose of our trip.

"Nice staff, clean rooms, family friendly "
pattijo1234, 03 Juillet 2016

We had 5 small children with us and had a great time. The rooms were clean and breakfast was actually really good for what we expected!! The pool was also well maintained and they had a later check out. Besides that, the rooms were clean and we had a nice time in our very short pit stop.

"VERY CLEAN ROOMS!! NICE BEDDING & MATTRESS!"
Tamie A, 30 Juin 2016

We could not believe how clean the rooms were at this Best Western property. The rooms are outdated in some ways (old appliances in kitchenette - but they're in such good shape it actually gives the room charm) but ours had a nice bed, flat screen tv, a nice leather chair with ottoman - and the biggest kicker for me....no dirty comforter! They used down (maybe synthetic) comforters that are wrapped in clean white sheets....the king bed had so many pillows and the mattress was great! Staff was super friendly in all encounters, pool was actually super clean too! I didn't even bring a suit because I though there was no way I'd swim in a motel pool, but this little pool was very clean. I don't eat much breakfast but the selection was diverse and the coffee was tasty. I haven't stayed anywhere else in Wickenburg, but this place has to be the best!

"cute quiet stay"
P9065DWashleys, 28 Juin 2016

It was a nice cute getaway clean and friendly staff. My husband and I were on a trip to take care of business but also used the time for a couples get away the rooms located across the street were quiet and we had a pleasant trip.

"We were scolded"
David C, 28 Juin 2016

Our group stayed there one evening and four of us met about the same time to grab a quick breakfast. We didn't expect much but were delighted to see eggs and bacon and biscuits and gravy. I was the first of our group to arrive. A young man, who was by himself, had already made a plate and was just starting his breakfast. Once, we all had a seat, we heard in a very loud voice in the breakfast counter area, "Alright! Who left the lid on the shaker open?!" We all looked at each other and thought someone was in trouble. Then, the lady (NOT named Pam) working the front desk emerged from behind the doorway, looked at our table, and proceeded to scold us for our actions. She said, "It had to be one of you". At this point we realized she wasn't yelling at a fellow employee for such a horrible offense. Indeed it was one of us. We didn't know what a shaker was...no one arrived after we did at that time. Then it dawned on us. "The dreaded shaker"! One of us forgot to close the lid/vertical cover on the rack that holds the main breakfast items. I didn't know it had a lid. I didn't notice that it was in the open position. I wasn't really paying attention. I walked up and it must've been opened by the fellow before I arrived to the egg/bacon/biscuits n gravy station. HE must've been the culprit! I suppose I should've been more aware...that the items in there should be kept warm for those who were to follow. I assume that the same happened for my three other tablemates. in fact, the hotel employee followed up her initial accusation with, "It'd be nice if others could have a nice warm breakfast too!" We were rather amused and surprised that we just got scolded - that we were about to put on notice/about to receive major demerits/about to be sent to our rooms...unfortunately, we just checked out. Needless to say, I felt it highly unprofessional to demean customers as she did. All she had to do was close it and give people the benefit of the doubt - that we didn't realize there was a lid. those plastic racks are clear and they do blend in very well. Sure, if I had noticed, I would've definitely closed it. My friends would've done so too. We didn't and we got caught. I didn't know that we did something so horrible. we are truly sorry. I don't want her actions to cast a bad light on the rest of the staff. Pam was wonderful and there was a gentleman who helped us too. I do hope that she doesn't treat people with such disdain and contempt. By the way, I would like to add that as I walked into the lobby, I greeted her with a "good morning! How are you?" She replied with a grumpy statement about how it was WAYYY to early or she's about the end of her shift and she's very tired. Need I say more?

"Clean Rooms, Friendly staff and good value"
SteveFromBristolUK, 27 Juin 2016

We only stayed one night on our way to Tucson and it was just perfect for our requirements. We didn't like the location of the room we were given but the friendly receptionist gave us another one which was fine. Good location and we got a good nights sleep. Breakfast was average but OK. We had a good steak at the nearby Rancho 7 restaurant which was very good.

"No Cookie-cutter hotel here!"
Elizabeth R, 26 Juin 2016

After driving 12 hours, I pulled into an oasis! This old-school hotel, which was one of the original 13 properties which now form the huge chain know as Best Western is maintained in a like new condition. The owner, Karen, is welcoming, warm and helpful. The ranch atmosphere which defines this part of Arizona is carried into each room with photos of the local ranches, roping arenas and cowboys. It is delightful! Everything was spotless including the pool with it's fruit trees loaded with fruit. In a four day journey between Reno and Sugarland Texas, Best Western Rancho Grande in Wickenburg, Arizona was my most favorite stop. Thank you so much for being there all these years and maintaining your personality!

"Best hotel in town"
Mark L, 22 Juin 2016

This place is great. A good deal, great staff, and the rooms are the nicest in the area. The rooms are like new, and the hotel is right downtown for an easy walk to local restaurants and anything else in Wickenburg.

"An "oldie but a goodie""
davenliane, 12 Juin 2016

We have stayed at the Wickenburg B-W before, so it was a no-brainer to return. I appreciate a place with some history, and this is a nice throwback to decades past. It is well-maintained, the pool is smallish but nicely shaded for sitters, and breakfast was the best of some eight nights on the road. It's right downtown, so we walked out for dinner and found an excellent place for kids and adults alike.

"We think they should rename it the Best Best Western Rancho Grande"
DesertBoomers, 06 Juin 2016

Easy to find right off Highway 93, our stay started with a great big smile and "Welcome" from Pat. A very clean and well maintained property, that we found is celebrating 70 years and is one of the first 5 Best Westerns in the Country. Rooms are in a number of buildings, most likely added during the years they have been there. Lots of well lit safe parking areas, easy to get to rooms with stairs and ramps, excellent WiFi connectivity throughout the facility, and a spotless pool surrounded by tall palms and decorative fruit trees. We have stayed in a number of Best Westerns, and all seem to have similar decor. We noticed many exceptions such as the tile top registration counter, tile tables in the dining area ( which is huge and has many more hot and cold selections than any BW we have stayed at) very comfortable mattresses, better quality bedding, flat screen TV's and even better coffee in the rooms. Located within walking distance of many of Wickenburg's higher rated restaurants and shopping opportunities, a quiet location ( we did hear the train that came through town shortly after 0100 )... knowledgeable friendly staff and competitive rates. One of the best overall hotel experiences we have had in the last ten years or so causes us to call it the Best Best Western.

"old and in need of remodeling"
deedle1, 06 Juin 2016

the floor wasn't level, the bathroom had no shelving to place toiletries on. When we got to our room the light switches in the back area of the room (bathroom, hallway, closet) didn't work. The electrical switch needed to be reset and it took about 20 minutes for someone to trip it back on. Other then that the staff was very nice and professional. ""The breakfast wasn't the best but not bad for the price (free). The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

"business"
DJ C, 03 Juin 2016

stay was great until breakfast. my friends asked for some muffins from breakfast bar , but were told me not ready open yet. even with everything out. I have had places let us get some things early before and was we had to meet police officers for help with our load, we couldn't wait. my friends said the desk was rude. shouldn't be such a big deal to let us pickup muffins before we leave.

"Old, Tired and So are the Staff"
kbandwt, 01 Juin 2016

There are very few choices for a good hotel/motel in Wickenburg and this one rates close to the top. The only reason for this is the other motels are so poor. In a normal town, this hotel would be rated toward the bottom of the range. The rooms have been built of a wide range of time and some are slightly better than others. I looked at a variety of rooms and all were tired and dark. My suggestion for a nice room would be to stay in Surprise and drive to Wickenburg for the day as it is only 30 minutes from many other hotels of much better quality and cost.

"A beautiful oasis in the desert"
Jon G, 30 Mai 2016

Wickenburg is a really nice and friendly town with several restaurants and saloons. It's a real slice of Arizona cowboy country, and the Best Western Rancho Grande is superb, it has a beautiful swimming pool, perfect in the desert heat, and the staff could not be more helpful. I met some folks who have been staying here twice a year for the last 18 years. Very reasonably priced and the breakfast is also very good. Well worth a stay.

"Fantastic character in a friendly wee town"
tonyandi_NZ, 30 Mai 2016

We loved the Rancho Grande. Big, spacious, comfy rooms. Friendly welcoming staff operating a wonderful complex fitting in perfectly with the character of Wickenburg. If, like us, your only passing through, we a throughly recommend Rancho Grande. Arrive in town early or leave late to give yourselves a few extra hours to explore Wickenburg. You'd be sling the visit short if you didn't hang out in town for longer than a night.

"Excellent service and value."
eyoung128, 29 Mai 2016

We were unable to book at another hotel where we previously stayed and therefore were walk-in guests at the Best Western. We found the staff very accommodating and friendly. Rooms was very large and an excellent value. Hotel is obviously not new but it is centrally located and has been continually updated. Rooms were quiet. Breakfast was very good with a variety of offerings. We travel through Wickenburg at least once a year and would certainly stay here again.

"overnight stay en route on leisure trip"
Terri C, 29 Mai 2016

Hotel is easy to locate, central in town. Room was clean with comfortable bed, good TV and internet service, and a sliding door leading out to a nice little green lawn area with chairs right outside your room to sit on and enjoy the outdoors. Breakfast buffet variety was good; not just continental breakfast style. The eating area was clean and comfortable. The hotel had a nice pool area, although we didn't use it. The hotel staff was very helpful since we got in late on a Saturday night and needed to find someplace to get a light meal (not fast food). The night clerk was able to recommend a local restaurant that was open. We only stayed one night as we were en route to another location, but it would be fun to stay a couple of nights there and explore historic Wickenburg, as the hotel is right in central downtown. Typical of Best Western, it is not a luxury hotel but good solid value for your dollar.

"Hotel Stay"
Debra D, 26 Mai 2016

Motel had Friendly and helpful staff, pool was sparking clean and inviting. Breakfast was good. A good selection of items. Location of the hotel was good. You can walk the town without having to drive around being close to the motel.

"2wk Road trip on motorcycles "
Craig B, 13 Mai 2016

Very clean. Friendly. Very homey feeling cozy. Landscaping is very nice. This place is been kept up very well. We are so very pleased to have stayed here. We will be back many times more. To know the history of this place was amazing. The rooms smell nice and clean in the decoy was very attractive. Bury them to western style

"Perfect place to stay !!"
Joanne D, 08 Mai 2016

Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly gentleman that I am assuming was the owner. We chose an upstairs room that was more like a suite than a standard hotel room and it was very cozy. This hotel is perfectly located if your intention is to visit historic downtown Wickenburg. You basically walk left out of the hotel and do a large circle and end up at the hotel....doesn't get any better. Good restaurant recommendations were given also upon registering . One of the best breakfast buffets at a BW!

"Surprise"
Donna89409, 06 Mai 2016

We started a last minute dash to Phoenix, trying to find an inexpensive hotel was out of the question. We rolled into The Best Western and if they had any rooms. It was $89 for 2 doubles, and extra $10 for queens. We took the queen room. It was hard to park by our room because it was so late. Our room was on a lower floor, and we opened the room it was unbelievable. It was bigger than my first house! The beds were comfy, full living area with western style furniture and a grand mission style chair. Kitchen and dining area. The only problem with the room was someone did a crappy job of painting it. The coffee cups were amazing, I was able to buy one at the front desk. The lady said most people just take them from the rooms and they charge them, lol. The breakfast was good, small seating area, but everyone was nice. I will defiantly stay again as it's only 1/2 hour from Phoenix. Wickenberg is a cool little town with plenty of places to explore.

"Look, Ma! No Car!"
Kay S, 04 Mai 2016

Recently stayed at Best Western in Wickenburg, AZ. Hotel was very comfortable and employees were very thoughtful and accomodating. It was easy to park your car there and walk anywhere to the attractions in Wickenburg- Museum, Library, Antique shope, Restaurants.

"Great place to stay in Wickenburg"
ABNME, 03 Mai 2016

Great location, room was clean, staff great, breakfast was good, outside areas could be cleaner, room was very clean, staff moved us to another room when we had noise problems with the first room, to close to rotary, truck noise was evident.

"very pleasant stay"

"Week long stay with dog"
DC-Rider-GOTYCA2016, 22 Avril 2016

Nice large rooms- 2 queen size beds; separate toilet area from sink area both separate from the bedroom area; large screen tv; staff was great; grass covered dog area with pickup supplies; central location; breakfast excellent.

"everything you need is right here"
cindy b, 22 Avril 2016

right from checking in until we left everything was great they have paid attention to detail and it was super clean and nicely decorated, the pool was clean and Pat at the front desk was a wealth of information

"Small rooms,Noisy, Good Breakfast"
Wendy Z, 18 Avril 2016

We were put in a room across the street in a building that felt like cheap apartments. They really packed in the rooms to make use of the space but it was cramped. It was uncomfortable to be sharing such a tight space with some strange strangers. Near main street and noisy. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good but I would thing twice before staying there again.

"Friendly, great breakfast, comfy beds!"
TetonTraveler2016, 16 Avril 2016

We have been lucky enough to stay at the Rancho Grande twice this year! - with our family and also on business. Highly recommend this hotel. Office staff concentrates on the guest. The lobby area is like a great comfortable family room and relaxing place to meet and greet friends and clients.

"Love it Out Wickenburg Way!"
John B, 13 Avril 2016

Classic setting, clean grounds and pool/jacuzzi extremely comfortable bed and pillows/top high quality linens quiet rooms, well decorated. basic but delicious breakfast great location, easy to find, close to downtown.

"Easy walking to restaurants and the museum!"
shawn f, 12 Avril 2016

The hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly, but seemed a bit short handed. Overall, an excellent value if you are staying the area of passing through. BTW - I highly recommend the museum. There are a lot of interesting historical facts.

"Good place to break our journey"
CSLfenny, 10 Avril 2016

Nice welcome, clear instructions about location of room, ice machines etc. Room neat and tidy with examples of local art, also quiet and cool. We were very pleased to find a coffee making machine in our room so we could make ourselves drinks. An unexpected bonus was use if the outdoor pool, very welcome after a day driving and hiking around the deserts. We were surprised to find breakfast as part if the deal, thus wasn't quite so good but as it was available from 6.30 am great for us when we wanted to make an early departure.

"Wickenburg Trip"
Janice W, 06 Avril 2016

This hotel is centrally located In Wickenburg so one can walk to anywhere in town. The staff is professional and friendly. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. I have stayed here three times on trips to the area and would recommend it to anyone traveling to the area.

"Best Western Rancho Grande, Wickenburg, ARIZONA"
dkflsd, 05 Avril 2016

Once you get passed the front desk you realize that this hotel is really big. The room was fresh and modern. If you plan on spending a lot of time in the room the internet is slow and the TV selections are few!

"clean, comfortable and quiet"
Connie L, 04 Avril 2016

this is our hotel of choice when in Wickenburg, it's clean, comfortable and quiet. The location is unbeatable, right downtown yet still quiet. Tucked away int he corner of town, We always stay there! Breakfast if typical of a contiential one but still good! Beds are very comfortable and I am picky! Clean too, really clean!

"While visiting Wickenburg "
Laura J, 26 Mars 2016

We've stayed here before, while traveling to CA. We had no idea it was a tourist town. Now we make Wickenburg a yearly destination. The Best Western is the only comfortable lodging we'd recommend. There is a pool, patio setting, ice, vending. Love their comfortable beds. It's not the Hilton, but it is what you pay for. We live the fact we can leave our car parked at the room, and just walk 5 minutes into the awesome downtown;)

"Best Western"
William B, 23 Mars 2016

Nice, clean Hotel. Close to most restaurants bars and major Highways. Staff responsive and polite. Pretty much everything you'd need for a short stay. Morning breakfast not gourmet but good. Parking right in front of your room.

"Not so "Best" Western"
Gary G, 18 Mars 2016

Great location in Wickenburg, very centrally located to shops and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and accomodating considering that they were full to the rafters; But, this is an older property and needs some work. Our room, not necessarily all rooms, was substandard and a bit shabby. Probably won't be back. A ramp was required to access our room which was a Deluxe King..?? Very noisy in -wall A/C unit just didn't do the trick......ran all night.

"Kinda old, kinda new`"
Althepal88, 14 Mars 2016

We like to stay here when we pass through Arizona. It is an older motel, but very well maintained. Excellent décor and staff. We prefer the "patio" rooms, usually a single bed in the older and quieter section. These rooms are more than adequate and are single story rooms. If you stay in the other parts of the motel, always specify upstairs.

"A Great Western Place"
Susan L W, 12 Mars 2016

We were pleasantly surprised when we stopped at this Western hotel. Our room had a nice comfy bed. There were patio doors overlooking the town. We had a cute little kitchen. The bathroom even had a phone! We were very comfortable here. My husband said he would have wanted to stay another night, but we had flight reservations. The front desk staff were very helpful. I would suggest staying here before traveling to the hectic airport at Phoenix! Really reasonable prices!

"Quaint, it served my purpose."
Mindy K, 10 Mars 2016

I stayed overnight because of a friends wedding, this was a close option for the wedding location. (The flying E Ranch) The hotel seemed to be right on the main tourist shop area, places in walking distance. I didn't really explore the town or stores/shops much as the wedding was the main event. For a small town, this hotel did it's best. It had an old feel like it used to be a motel and was trying to step up it's game. (Which I like, places with character are always a fun adventure and more interesting than cookie cutter new) The person at the front desk was very friendly, I experienced great customer service during my stay. When I entered the room (a King single) I was a bit worried, the bed looked as if two people were already laying on it ;) (a bit sunk in - so some concern about comfort) I ended up pleasantly surprised, while it was a softer bed, (but not as uncomfortably saggy as I had first feared) it was comfy. Since I like softer beds I slept very well. Lots of pillows and soft clean sheets too. The room was well equipped, there was a fridge, coffee maker, large tv. The bathroom was updated and very nice, it was oddly shaped with the sink in one spot, a sloping down of the floor into another room with the shower and toilet, so the old motel building was apparent in the odd set up, yet the upgrades did a good job with giving it a face lift. Overall, it was a good deal for the room price, I slept well, it was a clean room with a great shower and it's always a plus when a room comes with a fridge! I slept in so did not take advantage of the free breakfast. I just can't give it 5 stars because of the overall first impression of the room. New curtains, a new mattress, just a few things needed to finish the facelift to fully get 5 stars from me. However, with that said though: I would most definitely stay here again if I went back to Wickenburg.

"Great place to stay."
BJWca, 10 Mars 2016

Very clean, great location, wonderful breakfast(lot's of different items to choose from), beds were comfy, price was fair. There were very many "Positive's" for this place, and they override the one "Negative", so we will stay here again if in this area. The one "Con": A crotchety older lady at the ck. in/out desk, that has quite a cranky attitude, not quite customer service minded. But if you can handle this, you will enjoy your time here.

"What a classic old-time motel!"
Pam R, 08 Mars 2016

Our room was quiet and clean. It had nearby places to walk the dogs, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We needed to have a lamp repaired or replaced, and the maintenance crew was there instantly. How refreshing!!

"Charm in the desert"
Carol Y, 08 Mars 2016

Quiet charm nestled right on the main street. Sections of older buildings repurposed into a wonderful hotel creating a courtyard of calmness. The free hot breakfast is very well presented. We had fresh fruit bowl, scrambled eggs, bacon and orange juice. There were pancakes, muffins, bagels, cereal, toaster waffles, and more. Milk, iced water, coffee, tea, apple and orange juice were also available.

"Western charm"
susanrL5221WK, 07 Mars 2016

this western feel from the desk clerk attire to the décor in the room, was charming, great location to restaurants everything very clean and comfortable. Hot breakfast was good with lots of variety. Enjoyed our stay.

"Very friendly place"
Diana M, 07 Mars 2016

This was a very friendly hotel experience and the staff was very accommodating. The room was clean and it was a little dated. The bedroom was not very big with a king size bed. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Reminded me of the 1950's southwestern era. Overall very comfortable, just a little small.

"Fifth Time"
JIM G, 04 Mars 2016

I have stayed at this motel five times now and have always had a pleasant experience. The room is always clean and I have had a very comfortable bed to sleep in. The staff are friendly and helpful. Easy walk to the local dinning establishments and shops. The hotel has a history that goes back in time. Great community.

"Beautiful inside and out"
Melody S, 03 Mars 2016

Rooms were nicely set up, clean, and best of all the beds and bedding were over the top comfortable, would absolutely stay there again. The continental breakfast set up was one of the the best I have seen, and the coffee was fantastic!! Highly recommended !!

"Rude staff"
Aurelien F, 28 Février 2016

I love best western every time I stay there. I am cycling across the country and I booked a room there yesterday last minute. The man at the réception was so friendly and very professional. The room was as always clean and tidy. But I was sick over night and woke up late. I got to the breakfast room hoping it was still going on but I did not make it to the deadline. This woman from the front desk jumped on me and literally yelled at me because I stepped up into the breakfast room. Nobody ever yelled at me this way since my mother 30 years ago. Maybe this woman should take relaxing pills or change her job. I scored 1 star just for her and not for best western.

"Nice Hotel"
John F, 24 Février 2016

The property is well cared for and a pretty setting. The room was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. The full breakfast was good and plentiful. The hotel is well located and with-in walking distance of the interesting downtown area.

"Nice Folks and Great Digs"
dmreed, 17 Février 2016

Perfect place for a country boy to stay on business. Great location, clean and nicely decorated with everything you need within a block's walk. If you like being treated like a local, you'll like this place and Wickenburg.

"Pleasant and Comfortable in the Heart of Wickenburg"
Robert F, 16 Février 2016

The motel is over 70 years old but is well maintained and upgraded with modern amenities. The rooms are a bit small and dark, but very comfortable. It is within walking distance of the restaurants and the the excellent Cabelleros Museum in the old downtown. The Wifi works well and a good hot breakfast is included in the price. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. It is a real value and we enjoyed our stay there.

"BW Rancho Grande"
Curt B, 12 Février 2016

Obvious the motel had a complete renovation. Great job! Staff well trained and professional. Room was clean and nice. Service personnel were busy tending to issues brought to their attention. Within walking distance of a large choice of restaurants and local shopping. Great experience. I will be back!

"Our second satisfactory stay"
Wendy1107, 11 Février 2016

Very comfortable stay in a large clean room. Linens and towels unstained and in good repair. Bed and pillows comfortable. Huge bathroom. Nice balcony with chairs. Would definitely recommend to my best friend.

"Feb.trip"
omaleen2016, 09 Février 2016

We stopped here in Wickenberg on our way to Phoenix. We had a nice room and especially enjoyed the breakfast. It had everything you could want to start off the day. We always appreciate having protein options: eggs, bacon and yogurt! We will definitely add this motel to our list of places to stay!

"Guest stay"
Sandi H, 01 Février 2016

I've always stayed in this hotel and enjoy the friendly staff and also the close proximity to shops and restaurants. You can walk to go shopping and have something to eat. The rooms are clean and the staff if always very helpful if you need something.

"Rancho Grande Wickenberg, AZ"
Scott R, 27 Janvier 2016

Wonderful "old time" service and charm. Great hotel to stay at. Very nice decor, wonderful beds, very nice staff. I would always stay here whenever I travel to Wickenburg and/or surrounding areas. Love this hotel!

"Rancho is the best!"
Roderick M, 25 Janvier 2016

The Staff here was great! Food fresh! Rooms excellent! Outside decor is condusive to the local area. Parking a little rough with larger vehicles in lot. But still a pleasure. When we are in the area it's our go too hotel!

"Planned for one night - stayed for five"
Rick R, 25 Janvier 2016

This is a great little hotel in a neat town - the hotel is centrally located downtown so is easy to walk to restaurants, museums and parks. We were just planning on "passing through" town but stayed five nights - the hotel staff were wonderful in accommodating us (we travel with a dog). We ended up staying in a room for 3 nights and a suite for 2 nights - both had great décor, and were comfortable.

"Convenient Location, Pleasant Staff"
EclecticChooser, 22 Janvier 2016

Just off the highway as you come through town. Nice clean room, within short walking distance of the Desert Caballeros Western Museum, gas station, and several restaurants. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

"Thin walls"
Earlene R, 21 Janvier 2016

Stopped here on way to Prescott. It looked like it was an older motel that was recently remodeled. The clerk was very nice. We had a nice looking covered porch area with a bench. The room to the door stuck and had to be shoved open and closed. The room was moderately decorated and was clean. The toilet lid was loose as well as one of the faucets. Biggest complaint was the thin walls. We could hear people on both sides of us when they coughed or talked. Luckily the chatter stopped about 11 and there were no parties. Someone started up their Diesel truck at 5 am and let in run for 45 minutes before leaving and we had to listen to that clickety clack the whole time, then couldn't get back to sleep. It really looked like they were trying to spruce up the place but until they fix the noise level coming through the walls, we won't be back.

"Best Western Rancho Grande--AWESOME!!!!"
Eric S, 18 Janvier 2016

Wonderful place. Courteous staff greeted us upon check-in like they always do. The room was clean and spacious. Extremely comfortable bed. We will continue to stay at this hotel when we are in the area!!! Highly recommend staying here as it presents a very clean, safe and homey environment. Staff is always courteous, friendly and extremely helpful.

"Disappointing!"
GigiAnne, 16 Janvier 2016

We stayed here on our way to Las Vegas. We used some of our points and reserved a King Suite. The room was spacious and included a small kitchenette. The front desk staff, Melody and Bruce were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast the next morning was adequate, but nothing to brag about. There were egg patties (possibly powdered eggs made into the patties) bacon, dry cereals, muffins, Danish pastry, OJ and apple juice, yogurt, bagels and cream cheese, fruit, coffee and tea. A week later, on our way back home we decided to stay here again. This time we were paying for our room and asked for a regular Queen. We were assigned to a building that was on a side street away from the main part of the motel. We felt isolated and also a bit unsafe. The bed in this room was horribly uncomfortable. But the worst part was that there was no HOT water. We tried to shower that night, and although we ran the water for a long period of time, it remained barely warm. We did not report it and thought we would just take our showers in the morning. In the morning we had the same problem. Still there was no HOT water. We reported it to Pat at the front desk and were told that they would send a plumber to our room. Since we were getting ready to leave we saw no need to send a plumber for us, but they should take care of it for the next customer. We were also told, by Pat, that we probably did not run it long enough. When I said we had, Pat then told me that there were five other units around us and they had probably used up all the hot water. What a way to run a business. If you decide to stay at the Best Western Rancho Grande, don't let them put you in a room across the side street. And it might be a good idea to check the water before you are disappointed.

"needs modernising"
ferrytravel, 11 Janvier 2016

I'm a UK traveller. This was not what I was expecting. I thought it was a "hotel" but it was a motel!!! The rooms are little chalet which are spread out over the grounds. I paid for the top room, but was very disappointed when I got there. I was travelling on my own and definitely didn't feel very safe here. Anyone can come into the grounds and my room was accessible from an open road with houses just across from my front door. The place over all was very much in need of modernisation. It was like a time warp. However the staff who are on reception are very friendly and helpful, so thats what makes this place feel anyway welcoming. Breakfast is buffet style and its ok. There is a choice of cereal, breads, juices, and there was some hot food which looked like some type of egg along with bacon - i didn't try this. Overall the accommodation in this area is not of a vey high standard, but saying that it is basic, clean and the staff are welcoming and helpful.

"Take your own pillows"
Scott J, 11 Janvier 2016

Though the room was clean and quite our only complaint was the pillows. We wound up using our flannel jackets for pillows as the four provided were like sleeping on over stuffed bags of pebbles. The location of the hotel is great, it's withing walking distance to pretty much everything. The housekeeping staff did a great job, we didn't do the provided breakfast so no comment on that. Parking was good..

"Always a pleasure"
151cindic, 09 Janvier 2016

We've stayed here many times, never disappoints. The front desk associates are friendly, and the rooms well appointed and clean. We find the location to be very convenient, within walking distance to shopping, dining, and the great museum.

"Hometown comfort and service in Wickenburg"
drclif, 08 Janvier 2016

Had a great room that was warm and quiet in a rainy day and night in Wickenburg. Not our first stay in this BW location, and the service and quality were the same as we have come to expect at this very welcoming motel in a small western town. Great place to ssnuggle down and relax in. We will be back.

"Once again a very pleasant stay"
drclif, 08 Janvier 2016

We once again stayed at the BW Rancho Grande while working on our property in Wickenburg. Outstanding, as always. Staff were available and courteous. Room was well equipped, comfortable and all in good condition. All in all a very pleasant place to stay on a rainy evening.

"Perfectly.."
Dag L, 03 Janvier 2016

..located. Ran into this hotel by pure luck. Right off the highway. Large clean rooms. Very comfy beds with real down duvets. Right on the main street close to restaurants, pubs and other attractions, such as shops... Service was efficient and friendly

"Heading Home"
kl5019, 27 Décembre 2015

We were heading back to Las Vegas and needed a place to sleep and recharge. The Best Western gave us a comfortable nights rest. Free breakfast hit the spot. While not the newest location in town the service and charm made up for age. Strong wifi and real coffee mugs in the room. I would definitely stay again.

"I was already suggesting this hotel to people on the plane back."
Elizabeth N, 06 Décembre 2015

Fantastic- comfortable, quiet, clean, charming buildings, and lovely service. I was already suggesting this hotel to people on the plane back. We are considering returning to this area, in part due to this hotel- we already know we don't have to worry about what to expect.

"Exceeded my expectations!!"
Blanca M, 03 Décembre 2015

The hotel's location is perfect. Walking distance to historic downtown. Lots of antique shops full of wonderful things. The room was very spacious. Beds are very comfortable. I loved the fact that they have two levels but no stairs, only ramps. Room was very clean. The hotel grounds we very well kept and very clean. The service was excellent. They also offer hot breakfast with more than just waffles.

"Average hotel for a stay in WIckenburg"
Clint494, 29 Novembre 2015

I'm a BW rewards member, so I stay almost exclusively at BW hotels, and I would say that overall the hotel was about an average Best Western. Wickenburg is a pretty small town and the hotel is conveniently located at the south edge of town along the "strip." The décor outside is nice (standard Arizona décor). The rooms were okay - not super dirty but not pristine. The towels were a little worn, but clean. My issue with the room is that the layout wasn't great; there was a small desk, but the lamps have no outlets and the only outlet near the desk was two-prong, so we had to rearrange all the furniture in order to be able to use a laptop at the desk. My main complaint was the breakfast - there was so little effort put into it that we ended up walking down the street to eat at a café on our second day. Standard cereal/yogurt, but a very small fruit selection and everything warm (eggs, pancakes, bacon) had been microwaved from frozen. There was no waffle maker, and they had refrigerated (from frozen) waffles that were really no good. It's a decent price, so I would stay again, but not plan on breakfast in the hotel.

"Nice Southwest Stay"
DONALD S, 19 Novembre 2015

Great hotel just off State Road 93. Nicely decorated in great southwest tradition. The breakfast is good, with a full line of items to choose from. The staff was excellent, professional and friendly. I will stay here again, when I pass through the area.

"great room"
azbullet, 16 Novembre 2015

we have stayed at this property three other times and are always pleased the patio rooms are great! They have a great breakfast and the room is conviently located for our visit, the staff is always friendly

"another great experience"
azbullet, 16 Novembre 2015

stayed at this property before and always have a good experience we were lucky enough to get one of the patio rooms and it was as good as we remember the staff is very friendly and the property is kept in excellent condition you always see the staff cleaning or repairing the place. the breakfast is great and a nice addition to our stay it is kept full and very clean. look forward to our next stay.

"Convenient and Clean"
MrsPickle, 15 Novembre 2015

We stayed here last year when attending the Bluegrass Festival and tried it again. This year we had a king bed , room 220, and it is quite large with a chair and ottoman, refrigerator and microwave. Last year we had two doubles which was much smaller. The owners are very friendly and lots of choices for hot or cold breakfast. Will stay here again next year. East to walk to lots of restaurants.

"Preferred Hotel"
Ronald W, 10 Novembre 2015

Wanted a kitchen and more space. Got a full size fridge, a stove, microwave. the works. Great for a three day stay. Market very close. The market had a Wells Fargo ATM inside. Was open early and late when I wanted it. The king size bed was very comfortable, In an good size room. Only down I can think of was the shower head could not down enough. an minor thing for sure..

"Nothing's wicked at Wickenburg"
Wei S, 08 Novembre 2015

Great location and service. Really friendly staff. Not much more, since I only stayed for a brief night getting ready to go to take part in the Heart of Arizona brevet hosted by the Bullshifters. It was great 200k ride through some of the most beautiful part of the state, starting and finishing Congress, AZ.

"Dog Friendly Wickenburg Delight"
akaquadog, 05 Novembre 2015

Driving from a class in Los Angeles, CA to Sedona this past week I decided to take a route through smaller highways. Entering Wickenburg from the west, we first stopped at the dog park where my dog had a HUGE space to run as well as friendly canines to cavort with. Then I was overtaken with the town itself and decided to practice leash walking on the lovely sidewalks. After purchasing some lovely pottery, it was getting late and The Best Western was highly recommended. I was doubtful this hotel chain accepted dogs, but I was mistaken. Pat, the friendly, efficient receptionist, handed me a gift wrapped sheet to lay on the bed complete with a dog biscuit and a cute note (I won't ruin the surprise by telling you what it says!). Not only was the room a great price, but as comfortable and clean as any very nice hotel, though it was on the small side. Great bed with lots of pillows, table with two chairs, fast internet, and shower (hidden behind bathroom door) with nice towels. Breakfast had lots of protein and non-gluten options for me, too.

"Very clean and very accessible"
VladoLaGrange, 03 Novembre 2015

The first thing to strike me was the rooms was very small, but what am I going to do in a hotel room all day in ARIZONA. All I need is place to wash & sleep. Everything else is outdoors. The BEST part was that the rooms are VERY clean. The hotel offer a great hot breakfast and is very accessible to all roads. VERY good rate too!!

"Pleasant but cramped"
TakkoTakko T, 25 Octobre 2015

Sincerely friendly person for the check in. Easy to find right at the start of the strip with restaurants and shops. Parking is right in front of the rooms. Room was clean, and i liked the sanitary TV remote control. I was ok with a double bed, but seems like they tried to pack to much into the small room. The bathroom was a curious experience of contortionism to get in and actually close the door. When i did mention the bathroom size during check out, the nice woman said something to the effect of, "It's fine for people that just stop by for the night." Maybe this doesn't match what i expect from Best Western hotels? The complimentary breakfast is nice, though the sponge egg patties were a bit of a stretch to be considered edible. WiFi worked fine. Lots of nice pillows and comfy bed.

"Nice Stopover."
JIM G, 24 Octobre 2015

I have stayed at this Best Western three times and have always had a good experience. The beds are comfortable. The rooms have been very clean and the staff have always been great. The hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants and is located in Old Town Wickenburg. Great place to just walk around and see the sites.

"Good room for driving through town"
Glen B, 24 Octobre 2015

Good room for an overnight stay while driving through town. Single level Motel. Car park in front of the room. Bed, a bit hard. Shower stall, no bath tub. No flat screen TV. Outdoor pool. Breakfast, simple continental breakfast.

"Nice accommodations with a very helpful staff."
st0tz, 23 Octobre 2015

The Staff was very knowledgeable about This old western style Town. They have very good advice on the must see in Wickenburg. The location is in walking distance from most of Wickenburgs attractive fun activities.

"Best Place to Stay"
Blondienja, 21 Octobre 2015

Bruce was such a great host! He got checked in quickly and told us of the best restaurants in town and close by. Our room was a nice big size, clean, and the beds were comfy. We weren't able to take advantage of the pool but it looked clean. The free breakfast was yummy as well.

"Great place to stay"
382richardjl, 18 Octobre 2015

This is the perfect place to stay if attending a workshop at the Meadows. Supportive, quiet and comfortable! The bed was good, not great and I am spoiled at home. Very clean, friendly and safe. Pleasant Pool with a great location for restaurants and shopping. Have stayed here before and will return!

"Amazing stop"
ke6aza, 13 Octobre 2015

I have always wanted to stop in wickenburg and this trip we did. A complete treasure. The best western went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Loved the decor, the quiet rooms, amazing bed and location close to antique shops. The best stay we have had.

"Trip back home "
Terry Y, 12 Octobre 2015

I needed a place to stay for the night while returning home from a family visit. The Best Western in Wickenburg suited my travel needs. The front desk staff was courteous and helpful. My room was very pleasant and comfortable. Room was clean and well cared for. I will stay there again.

"A blast from the past"
Lauren K, 12 Octobre 2015

A roadside motel in the center of Wickenberg. Easy for an overnight stay en route from OC to Prescott. I drove up to a parking spot just a few feet from my room. There is free breakfast at the hotel, but why not step onto the Main Street and have a cuppa with the bikers passing through.

"Been here a few times"
shoebone2015, 05 Octobre 2015

Great older, character hotel, celebrating 65 years! The rooms are very nice, with western blankets and photos. The front desk staff was really helpful,we were leaving at 5am the next day and never got the breakfast....She made us up a paper bag with fruit and muffins ready at the desk the next morning! If you have Cricket phone service or verizon, Wickenburg seems to be in a dead zone.....Phone will not work, but 15 minutes out of town it turns back on!!!

"Good for Pets"
Richard T, 01 Octobre 2015

The people here are very helpful. The breakfast is marginal, and the rooms are not extremely clean. It is a pet friendly facility which was why we staid there. If it wasn't for our cat, we probably would have stayed elsewhere

"Knew nothing about Wickenburg, AZ."
hotellooker, 26 Septembre 2015

We were searching for a town halfway between Orange County, CA. and Sedona, AZ. to spend the night. We like BW cancellation rules. RG clean, friendly, good bacon, odd eggs, launddry near dinner resto.

"Tired Hotel"
961margaretf, 26 Septembre 2015

Seriously needs up dating, especially bathrooms. Hot tub broken for months, NO Wi-Fi available during our stay. Door to room swollen so had to kick it to get in........Only good side to this hotel is its location close to the main street.

"Decent, but older facility with quirks"
sdmurray, 24 Septembre 2015

Most importantly, the room was clean and quiet. We didn't stay in the main building, but in a detached one. It was clearly an old building that had been given a facelift. The age showed mainly in the room layout and the plumbing. The sleeping area was very small, and access to the closet was awkwardly done through the bathroom. Water pressure varied, and it was hard to adjust the water temperature to be comfortable. The air conditioner allowed a pretty wide range of temperatures. WiFi speed was only so-so. Breakfast was decent, perfectly good, but we decide to go to a local restaurant on our second day for a better meal. Overall, I would have no problem with staying here again, but it would be my last choice among the three places where I've stayed in Wickenburg so far, the others being the Quality Inn and the Super 8.
