Every three of four month, my husband and I getting away just to be alone and I enjoy to be for 12 years in so many best western hotel in Massachusetts, Boston, New York state,New York, Virginia, and Washington DC Rhode Island Connecticut and everyone of them. We enjoy to stay

I stay at this local hotel twice a year for Valentine's day and Mother's day.the new pool area is awesome! Love the salt water, no more eyes burning from chlorine in the hot tub. Staff is always helpful and nice. I requested a 2nd floor and was given that. Room was clean and well stocked.The beds were wonderful and comfortable. Breakfast was great and the host was wonderful. This is a wonderful hotel. .

The hotel is just off the I-95, conveniently located close to some amenities like gas and food. The breakfast is your typical BW breakfast, there's a good and the staff were very helpful and caring. The rooms are clean, and the area felt safe. It's about 20 minutes south of Providence.

Very pleased with the service and personnel especially the manager Mr.Wilson. That's why came back this year and will come again next year. We come up for the holidays and we will come next year to spend with our family

If you are ever in this area please choose this hotel over super 8 that next door. From being checked in to the nice breakfast and the super nice breakfast attendant, the housekeepers, all the way to check out I guarantee you your stay will be excellent!!

This hotel exceeded my expectations. I did not use the pool but it was extremly clean. I was really impressed with the desk clerks and how friendly and helpfull they were. The rooms were very clean and amenites were great!

Not even a question only downside is no elevator but anyone is willing to help! Military and group rates are done ahead of time always! Speak with Steve or Jenniffer. Compared to Newport or Middletown cannot beat the value. Everything was just renovated

As with most things, finding real comfort and value at a travel inn can be hard. Many factors must align for a superior experience - and certainly for us, cleanliness, location and the quality of the staff are paramount. And as such, this inn, adorning a piney mount with nearby highways, clearly wants to ensure each guest has a memorable experience. Nature lovers can also frolic in their rolling grounds and unwind in their heated saltwater pool and jacuzzi. But our recent visit began with a simple phone call to their versatile and experienced front desk person, Steve; his warmth and directness helped us quickly feel interested; and when we informed him that, as seniors, my wife and I were seeking a brief respite from an impending storm on Cape Cod, he quickly sought to meet our every room and financial needs; for our stay, he was available and open, making time to share some of his diverse background - and his positive attitude was evident among all his co-workers, too. (Also helpful is a spacious, well-lighted parking area around the inn.) But the staff really make it. Take Cathy, for example, the breakfast person. A culinary version of the EverReady Bunny, by 6am each morning she humbly lavishes guests with a room full of delectables - from oatmeal and nuts to piping smooth coffee, dried fruits, scrambled eggs, sausage, yogurt and even fresh fruit, sometimes as a fruit medley! And what youngin won't be intrigued by the pancake machine? Fresh and hot in just over a minute! Another staffer comes to mind, too - Jo Ann, chambermaid extraordinaire. Since cleaning is never easy, her smile and energy deserve top billing on a Wonders of Rhode Island list. Just that nice and dedicated - and overall, their ceaseless efforts and smiles make this one inn worth savoring!

Clean room. Excellent location and employees were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious. Beds were comfortable. Lots of towels available. Premises were inviting and everything was clean and orderly!

Pool and hot tub are functional and clean! The ceilings have been placed high so the pool room does not give off that suffocating smell induced by chlorine allowing better ventilation. Pool towels are also available upon request. Breakfast spread is sufficiently stocked with variety to satisfy each age group. Has an infused water available which is very pleasant after a long day exploring the state. Mattress and sheets are comfortable per our standards. Fresh sheets are placed and room smells fresh and good - no lingering musty odor. No problems with parking is encountered. Late night cravings are readily satisfied as it is a short drive to Warwick.

We were very satisfied with our stay andwood very likely stay again at this hotel it was nice to have a hot breakfast every morning with such a nice selection the staff was always attentive to our needs

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of this hotel, which we had chosen based on location. Our rooms were large, very clean and had everything we needed. The biggest pleasant surprise was the included breakfast, which had a full range of buffet options very well-prepared. The breakfast was much better than you usually find at other hotels that include breastfast

We've been staying at Best Western for 12 years. It started with a friend's employee discount and became our go to because they are dog friendly. We're on a road trip and arrived at 10pm and checked out at 8am. I'm glad this one wasn't our first or we wouldn't be back. Let me start with the good. Every staff member we had contact with is super friendly. And I could tell they try to work with what they have. The hotel is old and worn out. From the rusty hinges, to worn door knobs and toilet seat. Literally, the toilet seat is one of those old heavy ones that can break your fingers. The floor tile is chipped, the carpet is worn. The hotel is 2 story with no elevator, keep that in mind if you have mobility issues or traveling with a lot of baggage. I did not take photos, there's no need to blast them like that. Breakfast was blah too. We paid $282 for 1 night, not worth it at all. This is a $175 a night property, only because of the area. $100 a night is most appropriate.

A very nice place. breakfast was very good. Front desk were nice and helpful. They were good enough to let us leave our car there while we did a 10 day bicycle trip around the area. Close to highway. Our only complaint was the pool and hot tub were not open at either end of our trip.

Very clean. Staff was very polite and accommodating. Room was clean and very accommodating to guests with disabilities. Breakfast included in the room was very helpful for my family as we were traveling far from home.

the main door lock was not working at night and they have to open the door for us using a manual key. We reserved the room for 3 night, but we stayed 2 night and we had to leave because when we woke up the 2nd day our room was leaking water inside the room after raining. We informed the manager about the broken main door lock and leak in the room but they did nothing. We requested a refund for one night when it was leaking but they gave us the run around and said the general manager will call us. But no one called yet. We stayed on the 1st floor and the room above us was noisy all night and we could not sleep. Overall, it was a bad experience and I will not stay there again. The hotel is predictable - a/c was moldy, water pressure not great, plumbing needed repair/attention. The staff was great! Very attentive, maids were great, although the first day they didn't clean my room at all. Front desk was very good. The room needed work - especially the plumbing. No problem with the internet. The workout room needs equipment repair, and the pool was closed...in summer. Price seemed higher than what is on the website - so be forewarned. I stayed here because I was visiting family - and it was better than sleeping on an air mattress in the living room.

Booked this hotel for a quick overnight trip. As we booked with Priceline.com we saw they had a pool/spa and since it was going to be over 90 degrees, we thought it would be best to hang at the pool all day. Upon arrival no one was at the front desk. After about 10 minutes of waiting, they finally arrived. As we were checking in the front desk stated their pool was not available and asked if we would like a refund. As we know a refund would take up to a week to be credited to our account, we would have to then take a drive back home if we accepted it and would not be able to enjoy a quick overnight trip. We decided to stay and then go find a beach to take a quick dip then return back. They said if we had checked there website, we would have seen that the pool was not operable. I had also checked the website before coming and still under amenities was listed the pool. While we stayed you had to scroll through their website to see a small blurb written that the pool was not operable. They should have also informed the 3rd party booking sites. We were assigned our room and went to put our bags away and change. We booked a king bed with pull out sofa. Room looked decent at first however we pulled out the mattress in the sofa and there were no sheets. We looked in all drawers and in the bathroom area no sheets, blankets or pillows were located to dress this mattress. My fiancé went to the front desk, and they said they would send some up. We received only 2 top sheets and one blanket. He went down again to ask for more pillows and a comforter. The blankets they did give were stained. The pillows on the king bed were not large enough at all. The ac was not on in the room, so I had to turn it to max to try to cool the room down. It did not work great throughout the night either, but like I said it was 90 degrees. As I was shutting the blinds dirt/black marks/mold? On the top if the window under the curtains. The bathroom had a ½ used roll of toilet paper in it. The toilet was not secure to the ground and was pulled quite a bit away from the wall and crooked. Trash was found under and behind the dressers. Telephone did not work. For over $200 I would not stay here again. The hotel stated to Priceline the pool is going through renovations and did refund $50.00, but their website states it is not in service until further notice.

My husband recently booked two rooms for two nights at this hotel. Upon arrival, we discovered that the pool was out of service (since last May) which was not communicated to him when he made the reservation. When we first entered our room, it smelled very musty and felt very humid, even the sheets on the bed felt damp. Early the next morning, we discovered the carpet in both rooms along the adjoining wall was wet. My daughter's Vera Bradley purse was ruined because she had set it on the floor not knowing at the time that it was wet. We reported the problem to the front desk and was told that there were no other rooms available and could not move us. Steve, the person at the front desk, told me he would try to get someone there to vacuum up the water and put fans in the room. However, no one came in person to inspect the problem. Even a housekeeper said she noticed it seemed musty in the room when she cleaned earlier. This was completely unacceptable, so we immediately booked a room somewhere else. The General Manager, Mohamed Ganchi, refused to give us any consideration for our very unpleasant stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room was comfortable, breakfast was good and staff friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the door lock and day manager helped us out quickly and had it all fixed by the time we returned that night.

My husband and I love the Newport Jazz Fest and exploring the area. We enjoy Narragansett, Providence, and Jamestown during our visits. Great value, everything you need. Not luxury, but clean and practical items are here. Rooms are not crowded.

This hotel is very run down. The room was dirty with a stained carpet that clearly hadn't been vacuumed in a while. The bathroom has other people's hair on the floor, stuck to the walls, in the sick, on the counter top and in the shower. There is also an odd, off putting smell throughout the hotel and in the room. At a charge of over $500 for only 2 nights, this was an atrocious waste of money. Definitely stay elsewhere!

The hotel was very clean. The breakfast area was well stocked, the woman that worked in that area was very nice and friendly. The housekeeping department did an excellent job. My family and I would definitely be staying there again on our next trip home.

Stayed here in December improvements were being done....you could tell this visit. My bedding was fine, towels are very nice and my room was very clean. Housekeeping needs a raise. The GM of this BW is very nice.

The staff at this best western catered to all my needs and were very friendly and kind. The breakfast was great. I didn't use the pool but it looked like it was a nice one. I would certainly stay here again in if I'm in the area.

Made my comments in the other parts of the survey I use a lot of best western hotels in my travels And have to say this was not one of your better hotels as it just needs TLC and cleaning in the yard as I looked out my window from room 109 and it was a mess in the yard.

Only spent one overnight. The staff was very friendly, place was very clean, checkin and check out was fast, and the breakfast was well stocked. They have a pool we did not use but may use next time we stay.

Nice hotel for the money. Mattresses are old but not entirely uncomfortable. My rooms were clean and that's what counts. Towels are a little rough and the water pressure isn't as strong as a brisk rain but it works. I'd stay again.

This was the 1st time my friend and I traveled to west greenwich area. We were pleasantly surprised at the hospitality and appearance of the Best Western. In spite of only recently having had covid restrictions lifted, we felt as if our needs were more than adequately met. Newly updated facility with all niceness from staff. Will return

Without going into great detail, we checked in at 1 a.m. after a very delayed flight. Some very nice police officers were in the lobby during check-in - but then we found them (still very nice) directly across the hall from us when we went into our room, interrogating someone in another room. We went to bed with them outside our door. This was not a "warm cozy" feeling. What amazed me most is that the front desk person KNEW the cops were going to that room and she put us in the room across the hall anyway! Who does that? The parking lot was very empty so there were other rooms to be had. Beds were old but not uncomfortable. Everything was old. VERY old. But it was clean. Got out fairly early in the morning and ran directly into a security officer - again, right outside our room - I assume trying to determine what was burning, and where. There was a very strong odor. We did not stay for breakfast. And we would not ever return.

The Best Western West Greenwich Inn is a fantastic plac e to stay while on vacation or business. Customer service exceeded our expectations from check in to check out. There was a great selection of food choices at the free breakfast that was included. The location is conveniently located exit 6 off 95 in Rhode Island, plus it was quiet (no road noise). Recommended without reservation!

Wanted an affordable, good hotel within about 30 min of Providence. This was a very good choice. Easy access just off I-95. We had no problems. Our stay was nice. The breakfast was nice. No complaints.

Yes this is an older motel but well maintained. Although we were not greeted in the most friendly manner, we had no issues with this hotel. The room was clean with good lighting and large for 2 beds. Linens were bright white and plenty of hot water. Room consisted of a coffee maker, fridge with a freezer and microwave. Halls were clean. As a matter of fact they were running the vacuum in the halls at 6:30 pm. Breakfast was space but we had no conplaints.

The location was quiet even though it was right off the highway. The rooms were comfortable and all were on one level making it convenient to walk out w/o waiting on an elevator and easily handicapped accesable

This hotel is very easy to get to right off I-95. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed, and good internet connection. Location has easy access to most places. Many highways that connect nearby towns. A15 minute drive to many restaurants. The hotel is located off the road and is quiet.

Customer service was great. All employees we interacted with were very pleasant and extremely helpful. Pool area was very clean. Carpeting and bathrooms could use an upgrade. Ask for a room on the top floor, but tip toe around so you aren't bothering those below you. Definitely not the most soundproof of hotels.

This is an older building. You can tell the minute you walk into the front of the building that this hotel was built before public buildings had to include wheelchair ramps and motion censored doors to allow wheelchairs to pass thru. Some of the room furnishings were slightly out-of-date, such as carpeting. I loved the fact that there was both microwave and fridge in the room. But I disliked the fact that the closest restaurants require a hop back onto the freeway and a drive that's 3 miles to the closest restaurant. But the hotel is located in a quiet wooded lot.

Great place CLEAN and close to freeway. Kathy the breakfast lady gave suggestion for vacation day trips and Toni cleaned the rooms so well. 30 min to Newport and toll bridge $4 each way. There is a washer and dryer too. We stayed there 7 days and had a good stay!

It's not near anything. But great place to stay to visit Newport RI. Much less expensive than staying in Newport, only 35 miles away but also pay $4 each way for toll bridge to get there. Good Typical Best western breakfast and rooms clean! There is a washer and dryer. A indoor pool we didn't use.

Nice hotel with great freeway access. Clean room, comfortable bed. Good hot breakfast. Had to use the ice machine in the adjoining hotel but it was right next door. Friendly helpful staff. Didn't get a chance to use hot tub/pool but it looked inviting. Reasonable pricing for this time of year (hotels near the beaches were very expensive).

I needed a place to stay for 1 evening on short notice in the Providence RI area. Given that it was close to the Labor Day weekend, rooms for a reasonable price were hard to come by. I booked a stay at the West Greenwich RI Best Western and had a stay so surprisingly good that I am now spending the time to write a favorable review. The room was clean, the pool/hot tub excellent, the fitness room fairly well equipped (although tight for space) and the breakfast well stacked with healthy options (Fresh Fruit-not canned or prepared 2 days in advance good oatmeal, fresh bread), which is especially notable given the constraints of Covid.. The breakast matron kept the area clean and provided plesant conversation. The front desk person, Steve, was friendly and personable. Best of all, the cost of staying was nowhere near the stratosphere of the other hotels in the area. I had an enjoyable stay at the West Greenwich RI Best Western and recommend it.

We chose this hotel for a quick relaxing stay,and could not have made a better choice. The man at the front desk Steve was friendly and helpful.The pool and hot tub were clean, bright cheery and relaxing.Breakfast was great and the bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay there again if in the area.

We loved our stay at the Best Western West Greenwich - it was just a one night stay on our way to Newport Rhode Island but it was friendly, cozy, comfortable. I appreciated the setting of the hotel surrounded by trees up a long driveway from the highway. It is easy on - easy off to I 95. What impressed me the most was the friendliness of every staff member we dealt with. I had called the hotel a few days in advance to request a quiet location for our room. I spoke with Steve, who I believe is the manager, and he was so friendly and so informative and even funny at times that I felt quite comfortable that any wish we had would be accommodated. Upon arrival at 7 PM the youngGentleman at the front desk also was very helpful and very friendly telling us if we needed anything to please call and he “will run from wherever he is to bring us whatever we needed.”. Similarly the lovely lady staffing breakfast was very helpful with sightseeing tips to people. Our room was a big size and very comfortable too. I think you would be quite happy at this hotel and I highly recommend it. It was also very fairly priced compared to others in the area. Highly recommended!!

The motel has free parking. My check in went quickly. The rooms have inside entries but you need your room key to enter the individual buildings. The rooms include free wi-fi and a free breakfast. My room had a good layout and had everything I needed. I did not receive my requested wake up call. My check out went quickly.

Hotel needs to do something to help make the rooms more sound proof. Between people yelling in the halls at 1am to hearing EVERYTHING the room nextdoor was doing at 6am, it has been a miserable stay. The beds are old and uncomfortable, and it's just not some place I ever plan on returning.

I am always pleased with my stay here. The only thing I was disappointed about was that the chlorine in the hot tub was way too high. I was very happy to see it was open again but when I got in , my nose and eyes hurt and if I breathed through my mouth I coughed uncontrollably. I told the night attendant and he said he would mention it. I went back later and used it without the jets much more comfortably. Also we have been staying here for years and I have never been able to use the pool it was always frigid. This weekend it was warm and I was able to go in the pool. That made me very happy.

We found this property to be very cheerful,, bright and exceptionally clean The rooms are clean spacious and well appointed the lobby's nice continental breakfast are good I really appreciated having access to decent coffee throughout the day manager Mohamad is professional polite and friendly he always seem to make sure my stay was pleasant.

I recently booked 2 nights as a birthday getaway for my granddaughter. Things started out promising as they were able to give me the adjoining rooms I had requested. The rooms were fine and clean. Unfortunately the male front desk clerk does not know that the nose is part of the respiratory system and consistently wore his mask below his nose; including when he came to my room to try to fix the TV. He never could fix it so I had no TV at all. I mentioned it as we were checking out; hoped the general manager would reach out but it's been over 48 hours and he hasn't. Majority of the guests were also rude and no one was enforcing the mask policy As I said get what you pay for. I will never go back

Front desk worker was extremely rude. I would have loved my stay had not been for her. The manager was amazing with help but had I booked with the women I checked in with I may have went elsewhere. Good luck.

This hotel was fantastic, clean, friendly, great bed, great pool and they still provided breakfast during covid-19. Staff was friendly and helpful and hotel was nice and quiet. Great location right off the highway and great food just minutes away.

Owner of this hotel was gas lighting us and when we finally had enough of his insults he kicked us out. The cops came and told us that this guy makes the police come every week to remove people. The police were awesome and funny and very kind even with dealing with this awful hotel and by far the best part of the night.

Had a good stay. Not too much to say about the room, it was clean and comfortable. Property is easily accessible and right off the highway. Walls are a little thin, could hear quite a bit from other visitors and I don't think they were being exceptionally loud either. Only interacted with staff briefly but it was a good experience overall. Check in and check out were a breeze. Didn't try breakfast. Would stay again.

This is the fourth time our group has stayed here over the nine years they always go out of their way to accommodate our request checking is easy they keep us away from other groups. We will keep staying here over the years as we come up that way very very wonderful friendly staff

We stay at this hotel several times a year as a getaway. I realize that Covid has changed some things, but I feel that they could try harder. The pool is open, but the hot tub is not. Why not put a system of reserving the hot tub so you are not close to strangers? Seems like something could be thought of. The other reason I stay here is the breakfast spread, but now there are prepacked pastries? Yes, you can't have a buffet, but restaurants are serving food, why can't they. I won't be staying here again until the pandemic is over, there is no reason to spend the extra money and get nothing back for it.

Never stay there again . Very dirty room . Bugs in hallways . Our room was never cleaned . Just a disgusting place . Do not recommend anyone to stay . Very rude office staff . Manager said he would clean our room . He showed up with a dry hand towel just wiped a very small area of carpet . No vacuuming. Chips from previous guest all over the floor . Very disappointed and disgusted.

Just a family break, we enjoyed the pool, the price was pretty low for being able to stay for breakfast and enjoy the pool and WiFi, Mohammed was so nice to my family and we will definitely return, we've already stayed 4 nights in the past month as two different stays

I am a picky consumer. The BW was great. Right off the interstate but secluded and quiet. I had a minor issue with the room (microwave not plugged in) which the desk clerk fixed immediately. In the era of Covid-19, I chose not to have the limited breakfast. The room was clean, smelled fresh, and the property was well maintained. I would definitely stay again.

Located right off Rt. 95 and about 30 minutes from RI beaches, 20 minutes to Providence...always clean and a great, friendly staff. Before the pandemic forced a shutdown, the pool and hot tub were always in great shape and the hot tub was always 104 degrees or maybe hotter...all in all a great place to stay, and the rates are far better than any other local hotel in the area.

We stayed 2 nights. Room was clean, quiet, and housekeeping staff did a good job. Beds were comfortable, pool / hot tub very clean. Note: floor around the pool can be slippery, so be careful. The breakfast was very nice, many choices, all fresh and good. Cathy, who oversees the breakfast room, is very nice,helpful, and friendly. All of the staff were pleasant, and we will definitely return.

Always stay here people treat you like family absolutely great value.ive stayed here numerous days since August and everytime I have had very few if any problems. The breakfast is very good with something for everyone .food is always on time fresh and hot and kathy the lady that does breakfast is outstanding as nd very very nice

This is one of the finest Hotels I have stayed at. The management and staff were always concerned about your day and asked if there was anything they could do to make it better.I give them 5 Stars. I highly recomend this Hotel.

This one is right off I 95 in Rhode Island but manages to be in a quiet location. The check in clerk was wonderful. We had a tough day with a car issue and got in late. The pool was still open. Breakfast was good quality with lots of variety. The night clerk was the breakfast attendant. Still cheerful and friendly. Everything was clean and well stocked in the dining area. The room was sizeable and clean. We are going to be sure to stay here whenever we are heading home to Maine as we know it will be restful. We are rewards members and this is one of the best of the BW. Price reasonable too.

The staff and the management here is so helpful and kind. The rooms are immaculate, the breakfast is awesome and better yet, this place has a pool and a jacuzzi which is well kept and extremely clean along with the rest of this place. I definitely recommend this place and plan on staying here again in the near future. Very quiet and peaceful. Also, if you are into working out they have a fitness center here. Chris G.

Welcoming staff on 24/7. Nice size, very clean room. Very comfortable. Microwave, fridge. Like home feel. Excellent pool with sitting area. Awesome jacuzzi. Very clean. Full breakfast...delicious!! Freshly brewed coffee 24/7. 5+ stars! Definately would recommend to friends and family!!!!

Took a spur of the moment one nighter here just to take the kids swimming and breakfast. Pool was nice, even though the pool room air must have been 50 degrees. Pool was large and clean. Hot tub nice also. Jamieson was helpful in getting me checked in quickly. Room was typical and nicely kept. Breakfast was average also, but very clean and well organized. Cathy deserves a raise! She was great.

i booked this hotel at the last min and did walk inn booking and everyone was very friendly . hotel is in a veey secluded area. Manager personnaly help me with all belonging. Breakfast had lots of items to choose from. Will return in future for family visit.

Was looking to get away for the night and had a free Best Western voucher to use. This was the only one around with an indoor pool AND hot tub which was what I was mainly looking for. Check-in was easy. The pool and hot tub super relaxing. Breakfast was tasty and kept clean and filled by the friendly staff. And I loved the heat lamp in the bathroom. Don't see these much anymore but so nice when getting out of the shower. Only cons was that the hotel could use an update. The water in my room was extremely slow draining...sink and shower and toilet would not always fully flush on the first time. The mattress was very old and I woke up with a sore back (undoing the good from the hot tub). Would have liked to have a list of cable channels so I didn't have to go through them one by one to find the station I was looking for. All in all...it was a nice night away and was very relaxing. I always try to stay at Best Western hotel wherever I travel as they're always of a great quality and value-for-money the Best Western West Greenwich did not disappoint shaking was easy and quick the reception was friendly great recommendation on places for dinner thanks again the room with spacious clean and had a very comfortable bed I had a very good sleep breakfast is also good usual choices all-in-all a pleasant experience would you choose again.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were all excellent, very nice hot breakfast, nice room, great value for the rate charged. Very convenient to I-95 so close to where we needed to be and easy to get from and to the T F Greene (Providence) Airport.

Lovely looking modern hotel said and hills but conveniently close to interstate and easy to fine large free car parked rear and side door for easy access to rooms it is very modern and clean and reception very efficient and friendly with all required in for provided room was very bright and clean and spacious with huge comfortable bed table and chairs and desk unit lots of more and lamps with plenty of charging points for phone very good sweet with an excellent shower over the bed after a long day in the car. Best Western is the best of the best. Clean rooms with friendly service. The warm, friendly smiles at the front desk will melt all of the snow and ice in West Greenwich. I am staying for work. I will be here a month and it feels like home.

Front desk people were friendly and helpful. The facility is outdated and in need of renovation. For our few hours over night it was adequate but a 2 day stay would have been a bit much. Car headlights in parking spaces were visible. The bedding was adequate+.

We always stay at the West Greenwich Best Western when we are in the area. One of the finest I have been to. Indoor Pool and hot tub. Fitness center and an unbelievable breakfast. Quiet area and just off the highway.

The beginning started out a little rocky. - I found a pair of kids socks in my bed the first night I was there. However management comped me and took extra care of me and resolved the issue - Breakfast was good, internet fast, bed was comfy, water pressure was great and water was warm. Had to so I could stay and close proximity to my grandmother's house I had stayed here just a few months ago and was happy with the basic stay. This time I was happy with the stay and notice that the hotel looked a bit nicer than last time.

Have stayed here before and will stay again in the future. It is easy to get to, right off the interstate highway.The hotel grounds are very pretty and inviting. The hotel staff is always friendly and helpful.

Breakfast staff woman was friendly and gave tips on sight seeing. Rooms were comfortable, but thin walls and it is an older hotel. Breakfast was average. Neat pancake maker, never have seen that before. Way too small breakfast eating area!!!!! Restaurants are not walking distance like we read on the description on website.

This property is located among a beautiful grouping of pine trees. The setting is very relaxing and peaceful, especially after a long trip. The morning breakfast buffet had delicious danish rolls, which we did not see at any hotel during our 2 week trip. It also had a pancake machine which we had not seen before. We did not have them, but it was a hit for anyone who did enjoy one, especially the kids in the room. The fresh fruit was delicious and the buffet was kept meticulously maintained by a very friendly and enthusiastic employee on the morning of 10/6/19. The room was large and there was a refridgerator, microwave and coffee maker. The hotel itself was a little worn and the view out our window would have been very pretty with the indoor pool and pine trees as a backdrop if the windows would have been clean. However, this did not distract from the fact that is was located in a quiet and peaceful location and we got a great night's sleep. The next exit to the North also had hotels and a variety of restaurants, but we would recommend this hotel if you enjoy getting away from the noise and traffic. Thank you for a great stay!

We always try to stay at a BW when we travel. We were greeted by the front desk (Wed 9/25 around 2pm). Very friendly and recognized and thanked me for my Gold member status right away, and pointed us in the right direction for grocery store and restaurants. Building, rooms, pool area and outside were very clean. Bathroom fixtures could use some updating but nothing drastic enough for it to be a negative. Entire staff through our stay were always very friendly. The kind lady working breakfast on Fri and Sat gave us awesome ideas to site see (Newport was awesome). The manager was very attentive to what was going on. Even the fire alarm system worked appropriately, as we found out Sat night at 1130 when someone decided that they were going to smoke in their room...Guess they didn't understand the whole smoke free part. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Very nice hotel, love the nice size fridge, nice pool and hot tub but we didn't use, no restaurant on site but a nice Tavern just down the road. Hotel was a good location we drove to Newport for the day and toured attractions around Greenwich.

Our Special Olympic Sailing team has been staying at the Best Western West Greenwich RI for several years now. We have always had a good experience making reservations and checking in. Staff has always been friendly, courteous and helpful. We will be going back again next year.

I thought it was a pretty nice hotel. I stay at many hotels every year so I become very picky about the places I stay at. I want to feel safe while I am traveling and I felt pretty safe. I would stay here again

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was neat and clean. The bathroom could use an upgrade as the tiles were stained, the sink dripped and there was no safety handle near the toilet. I always stay at Best Western and always will.

I stayed here once and it was more then enough for me to go again. The room was clean and the staff was amazing!! Can't wait to go back. It's local to everything from restaurants and activities. Right off the highway.Highly recommend them.

Breakfast was excellent definitely something I looked forward to. Pool and Jacuzzi were nice and relaxing after a hard days work. Room has recently been updated. Will return when back in area. Great spot to come to Newport.

The price for the hotel was the best in the Newport area. However, there were a few things that were less than par for me. When we walked into the lobby, there was a smell that seemed like that of an old person's home. Also, the fridge in the room had a crack in it and was not cooling properly. That was swapped out and resolved. After 2 showers, the tub decided not to drain. Maintenance came and did a quick fix and would return the next day since it was late evening. Then the next morning before maint. arrived, the tub clogged again. Argh!! Frustrating when you pay decent money for a place and are planning your vacation day. Carpet and decorating were somewhat outdated, but tolerable. I wished to speak to the general manager a few times and never got a text or call from him. Upon returning home, I also called and left a voicemail and still haven't heard back. At the very least, he could have returned my call. One more thing.... we had children in our group and I was unaware that they were old enough for the $10/night/child surcharge. That would have been nice to know upon making the reservation on the telephone.

Pleasant staff--clean rooms--decent free breakfast to get you started. The room prices were fair-- the indoor pool was a little warm--We will certainly be returning, next time we have a family function.

I am having a security issue at our cottage in Massachusetts and needed a place to stay that wasn't too far away and could give me a reasonable price. This fit the bill and the service was fine as well. The staff was friendly overall. I had a couple of small problems with the housekeeping trying to clean prior to checkout(which she apologized for) and the other with the computer in the lobby(accessing my email) as well as the printer that went along with it. It is something that a little anti-virus or scan couldn't fix, along with somebody who knows about the computer attachment with the printer. I didn't bring up the computer situation to the front desk, although I probably should have. Again, not a big deal. Probably I only was there for two nights and most of my time was spent in the room just primarily trying to rest.

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel and enjoyed our stay .Check in was a breeze and our room was clean, space and comfortable ( especially liked the thick towels). The hotel was situated perfectly for visiting friends,family and seeing the sights. The staff was friendly and helpful. We even able to grill our last night . Breakfast was hot and delicious with fresh cut up fruit. The breakfast hostess was friendly and greet each guest with a smile and a good morning. We witnessed her helping a young family with suggestions of RI attractions. All in all great stay and will be our go to hotel for our future RI visits Sharon& Robert Garvin

Stayed 1 night and this place worked out great. Very reasonably priced. Could use a little updating in the rooms but they were comfortable and clean. Bed was comfortable. Easy check in and check out. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Outside looks great but inside management pays lip-service to reported major concerns of the guest. Simple strong management over staff and how to accomplish there assigned cleaning tasks would go a long way,. A fresh clean room goes a long way.

We stayed here for a local softball tournament this weekend. They have new management and were working through issues in having all the needed amenities in rooms. Management went out of the way to make sure we had what was needed and expected. There is a large pool and hot tub on premises. The rooms were clean, yet outdated. It was hard to find enough outlets to charge electronics. Rooms were dark, not lots of lighting. Breakfast choices were limited, did not have any fruit options, and yogurt was in a weird vending type dispenser.

This was the worst best Western I have ever stayed at! We arrived and the toilet handle was hanging out of the toilet, the sink wouldn't drain, there was hair all over the tub, the sample conditioner had dried conditioner all over it. The front desk wouldn't help at all or change our room. The next day I was told that they wouldn't be able to fix it until Tuesday ( we arrived on Saturday ). I tried to get a hold of the general manager and his voicemail was full I emailed him twice and he never responded. The following night we got back to the room and there were no towels in our entire room and the sink still wasn't fixed. I called customer service and they had to get involved. The manager only refunded half of one of my nights days and we were there three days. I tried to move to another hotel but he refused to refund my money. I tried to get a hold of the general manager and his voicemail was full I emailed him twice and he never responded. The following night we got back to the room and there were no towels in our entire room and the sink still wasn't fixed. I called customer service and they had to get involved. It was filthy inside and our bathroom had black mold all over it. Our second room for the kids had water all over the bathroom. We changed hotels after we seen 2 huge spiders on our wall. They would not refund or discount our rate.

I used Mobile Check In and the desk clerk had no idea what I was talking about! His response " Oh they must have been getting more information!" All of my information was already on file! Also, there was an odor in the room and the AC would not turn on!

Nothing was wrong with our experience at the West Greenwich hotel. But it wasn't a pleasant experience either. Check in and out was a bit of a hassle with the front desk staff not being present and the breakfast wasn't very appetizing at all. The worst part was the pillows in the bed were no more than a foot to a foot and a half long. Were unusual and made it difficult to sleep. Wouldn't recommend for another stay unless other options are exhausted.

Jenn did a great job ensuring my free night voucher was honored by corporate and made sure I was able to stay in the same room multiple nights and honored and matched online rate. Carmen did a fantastic job ensuring my stay has been good and went out of her way to match a rate at another hotel for a future stay ensuring my business stays with best western. Cleaning staff was very courteous and the lady responsible for cleaning up the breakfast area even after it was closed opened up the orange juice machine so I could have another glass of orange juice. Excellent experience and look forward to my next stay here the 12-28. Other members of my team will also be staying here as a result of this service.

Filthy room. Had to change room 3 times and never got room we reserved 3 months in advance. The staff were rude and no manager available to talk to. When I contacted customer service they did nothing for us. Had to cancel and leave hotel and find something else

Prejudice staff. I have to ask to get my room made up, so housekeeping took the towels I used and didn't replace it with fresh towels. I asked the front desk and I was told they didn't have any only pool towels.

Stayed in room #106 for 1 night. Needed a place to sleep after a late arrival at Providence airport, and this was on the way to next day's destination. Arrived around midnight and left before breakfast. The room had a strong stale chemical odor, probably cleaning products trying to mask an even more offensive smell. The minifridge compressor ran continuously during the entire night. The smell and fridge noise prevented my wife and I from sleeping well. In hindsight, I should have spent time determining the noise source before going to bed, and then unplugging the fridge. The towels and washcloths were thin and worn. Heard occupants of adjacent rooms during the night. The room had no blanket. Sign at check-in identified issues with pool, so if the pool is important to you, be sure to call ahead to check its status. Plenty of hot water and free parking. Pleasant check-in. Based on my experience at other BW's around the country, I am surprised this property is part of the Best Western brand. Would not stay here again.

Stayed in this hotel for three nights. Setting was lovely and hotel very quiet. Rooms were comfortable although bedding could have been a little more substantial as it was cold when visiting. Breakfast had a good choice and staff were very friendly and helpful.

We have stayed at this Hotel numerous times. This time we had BAD CAR TROUBLE--PLUS our cell phones had both died & we forgot to pack a charger. Had to be towed by Triple A 150 miles + to get home. Carmen went BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY--attempting to find us a charger to borrow, then lending us a phone to call AAA & giving a Number where they could call back! THANK YOU CARMEN!!

Decent hotel for the price, just disappointed that the pool was not usable. Traveling with two young people, this was a must, however it is what it is at this point. Breakfast setup was good and the attending person was quick to clean up and make sure it was well stocked at all times.

The hotel is near 95 easy on off. Next door to 2 gas stations/convenient stores. Front desk service by Jenn was EXCEPTIONAL! The rooms are good. The bed was clean & comfortable. I would recommend and use again if in the area

This hotel is just outside of the Providence area but so worth the extra 8-10 minutes drive. The amenities are great, always clean, comfortable & friendly! Carmen the manager will do anything in her ability to make your stay perfect. Nice indoor pool. Best included breakfast at a non resort hotel I've ever had!

The Best Western Hotel was an excellent place to stay. My family and I did not have any complaints and were treated with respect and kindness. The breakfast was outstanding and the breakfast associate was very helpful.

For the past 5 years, we have returned to Rhode Island from our home in Fl. to visit family and friends during the Christmas holiday. We always return to the Best Western in West Greenwich. The staff is friendly, helpful and makes us feel at home. We enjoy the Christmas decorations , the very satisfying breakfast buffet, and this year, the renovations and new furniture in the rooms. We are very happy to recommend this hotel.

This was the third time we have stayed at this BW this year. Staff have all been very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is excellent with a variety of choices. Rooms are cozy and I personally found the bed very comfortable. For us the location is perfect. It's tucked into a cozy wooded area. Very peaceful. Easy on, easy off Rte. 95 North and South. Since there are no elevators, they have always accommodated us with a 1st floor room upon request. We would definitely stay here again.

Good room, but the walls are thin. Still plenty comfortable, and very clean. Breakfast was disappointing. No bacon? I was bummed. Also, paper plates, which aren't great for anything wet, like scrambled eggs. I think a better job could be done without getting into major expense.

We were visiting a relative that was recently released from the hospital and we felt he needed rest. So we choose to stay at this hotel. We made a very good choice. The hotel was clean, pretty updated and very comfortable. There is no elevator so if you have any kind of disability, you need to request a first floor room. All personnel were extremely friendly and gracious. Whether it be the front desk, housekeeping, the nice hostess in the breakfast room, or a maintenance worker you past in the hall. Very pleasant. The hot breakfast was very good also. Every morning there was a different choice of some type egg, hard boiled, egg patty, omelet with sausage links, sausage patties, sausage gravy, potatoes. Along with pancakes and delicious oatmeal with several toppings, brown sugar, granola, coconut, sprinkles, etc. Plus muffins, Danish, toast, fruit, coffee, tea, juices and cold cereal. Nice to start our day with a great relaxing breakfast. Overall this is a hotel we would definite stay at again. The hotel has an indoor pool and a work out facility.

Located in a small street right off the main road, it is a really quiet area. Very woodsy area around, was nice. Check-in person did not ask for my ID or credit card, just my last name--thought that was a little weird. No elevator and we were told the only rooms available were on the second floor (we were fine but what if we needed an elevator). Hallway seemed very outdated, but rooms were very clean and not too "old" looking. Breakfast included in the morning included bread items, juices, coffee, and a pancake maker as well as simple pastries and fresh fruit. Would stay here again if needed, just wish it was a little cheaper.

very nice, clean hotel. breakfast could be better. no elevator so if you have issues make sure you request a ground floor room. water pressure is a little light in the shower. overall very nice place good TV options good price.

We had a well appointed large room, the staff were helpful and friendly recommending we eat at the" Olde theater diner about 3.& miles away , which was a good choice. We would have given 5 stars but the breakfast was acceptable, by that I mean everything was there and was good to eat, it just lacked more choice of fruit and yogurt we have had at similar places on our road trip. It is despite the not picking a good place to stay.

We stayed on Saturday nights because my son was playing soccer the next day at URI. It was a great price for the room quality, cleanliness, and overall experience. My son and his friends enjoyed the pool and Tammy gave us a "late checkout" so they spent 2 hours in the pool after breakfast. Finally, the breakfast is above average. The eggs are real! We will return!

Property was well off the road and peaceful , convenient to all places we visited in New England, the rooms were not as nice as other best Westerns I've stayed at, but iit was adequate and stayed 6 days, disappointed that the early arrival we requested weeks in advance did not happen.

Although staff was very friendly and accommodating once you found them, was having trouble with my sink backing up and called front desk and no answer, then went down to front desk and no one there, however, on my way back to my room found the attendant and she fixed the problem. Room large, but outdated..toilet rattled every time you sat down. Mattress sloped inward and pillows uncomfortable. The breakfast bar had pancakes instead of waffles, which was a nice change, however no meat was provided. Wouldn't stay there again.

This place is our favorite Best Westerns to get away to. It has comfortable beds, one of the best breakfasts, indoor pool and fitness center, Elks club across the street, and nearby Twin Rivers Casino.

Excellent value. Rooms were large and room had refrigerator microwave coffee etc. Hotel was clean and bathrooms too. Great location close to Newport, Providence and Boston. Breakfast was definitely above average.

The people here at this Best Western from ownership to housekeeping are always ready to help and always greet you with a smile. There is nothing that I have seen that these dedicated people will not do for a guest.My stay has been work related and over the almost year long stay, this has been my home away from home.

Stayed here for our anniversary weekend staycation. The hotel is conviently located and the rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast had many different options and was wonderful. hot tub was fabulous, just the right temperature.

Stopped here for one night on a road trip. Guy at the front desk was cheery and helpful. They are remodeling, so the front lobby was a full of furniture they were trying to get rid of. At first our key didn't work for a room on the left side (facing the pool) so he switched us to the right side. He said that's the better side (probably the one that got remodeled first) so we were happy for the switch. Rooms were just fine for the night. I tried to go work out in the gym but it was too musty in there so I went for a run around the property instead. Please get some cleaning and air circulation in there! If we were to pass through the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Upon arrival the front desk clerk was flustered and was talking to someone who wanted an application so she was talking to him while I was checking in. Then she had to call the room to make sure it wasn't occupied-no mention of being a BW Rewards member. There is no elevator so we had to carry suitcases up the stairs-not pleasant when you don't travel very lightly. They have shower gel and shampoo dispensers in the shower instead of individual amenities and the water pressure was less than desired. The bed was a little too soft and the top sheet was thin enough to see through. The gold decor was very outdated. Checkout was okay, morning staff was friendly.

I don't know about you but I need the bed I'm sleeping in not to be so unbearably hard and uncomfortable. This mattress was the worst one I've ever paid to sleep on in my life. I didn't sleep well any night I slept on it. I even had to pay to get a room at a different hotel one night so I could get a good nights sleep and give my back a break.

This was our first of 6 hotels over a two-week vacation. This location was very central to taking day trips to mid-Massachussetts, eastern Massachussetts, Mystic, Connecticut and Rhode Island. I was expecting this to be a motel but was surprised that it actually had inside entrances. The room was large and there was plenty of room to put all the stuff we brought with us for a two-week vacation. Since there were inside entrances, it was very quiet and we heard no stirring outside of our room. This hotel also served the best continental breakfast of the 6 economy hotels where we stayed during vacation. It also had an indoor pool and hot tub which was nice. The only things we didn't like about this hotel were that there was some facility maintenance issues that needed to be addressed in some of the common hotel areas and the security card readers that were supposed to lock the exterior doors after hours didn't seem to work. After being there several days, we weren't concerned about the security but upon first arrival it was a bit unsettling. We would stay here again.

Carmen made us feel extremely welcome upon check in and Jeff was also very helpful in the evenings They made our 3 day stay very comfortable the cleaning staff respected our privacy while also providing our room with fresh bedding and towels..Jeff went the extra mile looking for my bathing suit that I had misplaced.

Stayed here for a week for training. Loved the indoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast was sufficient. Room was clean and spacious. Good value. Recommend dinner at some good restaurants within 6 - 10 miles.

Stayed here with my family for one night on our way to Martha's Vineyard! On the plus side it was very affordable considering the going rates in this area AND it is one of the few average priced establishments providing two queen sized beds in a room. Also, the breakfast while below average for a Best Western provided enough sustenance for my 8-year old grandson so that we could get on our way without stopping to eat! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, when we tried to use the pool the floor was full of water (which we didn't see) which caused my grandson to slip and fall into the pool. Thankfully, he was holding on to the handrail which prevented a serious accident. I immediately decided to leave whereupon he slipped again on water on the floor alongside the pool on the way out! There was no one around to tell at that point in time so I never did report it to management.

Hotel checking is at 2 pm. We got there at 1:45 pm expecting our room to be ready, but they told us that our room will be ready In 20 minutes. However, our room was not ready until 3 pm (over an hour wait!). Also, we book a deluxe room which is a king size bed and a sofa bed and they did not provide us with sheets and blankets because according to them, they ran out so we had to sleep with no sheets and blankets very uncomfortable. I ask if at least they can give us a late check out and they say no. They didn't even give us a discount or anything.

I didnt like it there at all, the rooms smelled, it felt damp the furniture and the beds were old and uncomfortable, they also have a problem with bed bugs. I wouldnt recommend anyone stay there until they resolve that issue with th bed bugs

We are on a road trip & needed one night in the West Greenwich, RI area convenient to 95 before we finish the first leg of our journey. We had a less than satisfactory experience at a Best Western here in the States and honestly were concerned about what we would find here in RI. This is a clean hotel, has friendly staff and is so close to not only 95 but just 6 miles away there are numerous choices for meals. Rates are competitive for this area. We would stay here again.

Stayed 6/29 and 6/30 for a softball tournament. On the night of 6/30 after a day of 90+ degree temps at the field we returned to hotel. My daughter took the first shower, and when she grabbed and wrapped a towel around herself a used tampon fell out of the towel. Needless to say, we were horrified, disgusted, and quite frankly a bit nervous. My 15-year-old had just been exposed to blood. The front desk employee was useless. He claimed he was unable to get in touch with manager. We checked back several times, including the early AM. My daughter spent her night crying her eyes out. I opened a “customer care” file with Best Western on Sunday July 1st. They say it takes 7 days for a reply, but due to the circumstances I was told I would hear back Monday. Here it is Friday and not one person has contacted me. Not the Hotel Manager, not even BW corporate. This is a very serious matter, and I feel like BW could care less. Embarrassing to your company's name. A disgrace that the Manager has not called. Maybe they think this is just going to go away, but we are not going to let this rest.

I spent 4 days at this Best Western right off of the highway. It is located high on a hill next to another motel (a Super 8) and it is surrounded by woods and is surprisingly quiet. The downside to the motel is that there are no adjacent restaurants and it is necessary to either drive a quarter mile or brave highway traffic while walking in the bike lane to find the nearest restaurant. The hot breakfast offered by the motel is average, the rooms are fairly large and feature microwave and refrigerator. Price seemed reasonable and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. If you're seeking a quiet place to rest and recharge that is conveniently located near the highway, this is the place for you. If you are looking for a nearby 24 hour restaurant, this is not the place for you.

Stayed here for just one night en route to further north. The front desk was extremely nice and welcoming. The room was nice and big, possibly renovated in the last couple of years. However, the TV wouldn't change channels. We tried the remote and the buttons on the tv itself but no dice. Also, the WiFi was horrible. Couldn't connect at all in our room. Had to go to the lobby. Pool area was fine. It's indoors and has a jacuzzi. Breakfast buffet in the morning had hot and cold items. Overall, nothing super special about this hotel but we weren't expecting it to be.

We wouldn't stay anywhere else in RI. We go to RI once a year to visit fam/friends. We love this hotel. Very clean. Quiet. Comfortable. Staff is amazing. Breakfast is great. This a hotel you can actually relax at. Tends to be a bit more expensive than the Super 8 that shares the property - but do yourself a favor and pay the extra to stay here. We have stayed at the Super 8 on site and Yuck! Stay here and you will not be disappointed.

nice hotel; recently renovated. the breakfast was amazing with so many different options and the woman who presided over it was very friendly and nice. great hot tub! The only complaint I have and why I gave it 4 is because the heated pool was not heated and I couldn't use it, it was too cold.

The hotel staff were all very friendly. If you like Best Western you know what to expect. Clean, safe and quiet location. My only beef would be no restaurant on site or within walking distance, but that wasn't a problem for me. I'd stay there again.

Had a wonderful stay. Clean rooms and hotel. Breakfast had many different options and was wonderful. Did not get to use the pool, but it looked very clean. Staff was friendly all around. Would stay here again if in the area.

Great hotel for the price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub we crystal clear, I didn't go in the pool but the hot tub was hot and relaxing. Breakfast wasn't elaborate but the attendant was very welcoming and treated everyone like an old friend. The lobby, hallways and rooms were clean. It is an older hotel but it is well maintained. Our room had a king bed and I expected a sofa but I was disappointed there was not even a chair. This may be due to the remodeling. That was the only disappointing thing of our 2 night stay.

Excellent service. Kristin was specifically helpful at registration. Would recommend this location. Easy access on and off intestate.Breakfast service was delicious and Fitness Center was clean and comfortable with several items to choose from. Pool water was warm and Hot Tub was perfect.

Stayed here recently and had a wonderful time! I loved how spacious the room was and greatly enjoyed how comfortable the bed was! There was a large shower and a tv to enjoy a movie marathon. Now a rewards member because I enjoyed it so much! Thanks Best Western for a great stay!

We stay here every time we visit family. The staff and service are excellent, the price is affordable, the rooms are always clean, and the complimentary breakfast is very good. The location is also convenient.

the best western in west Greenwich is a great place to stay . close to most of southern new England. I stay here every time I come from north Carolina to see my wife's an my family's. would not stay any ware else!!!

I love staying here on occasion because it is a nice night away and is such a comfortable place to stay. The rooms are always clean and affordable and it is always an enjoyable stay! Would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone passing through!

Comfy room with internet and TV. Yummy breakfast. Clean and well maintained. Staff were very helpful and courteous. About an hour's drive from Providence and Newport RI. Very good value for money. I would recommend this place for your stay in RI for sure.

We stayed at the Best Western after a show at Foxwoods. The hotel is about 30 minutes from Foxwoods and is located right off Rte. 95. The employees at Best Western are very nice. The room was nice, as well. We stayed on the second floor in a King Size room. There is no elevator for those who have trouble with stairs. The breakfast was fine for us. They have oatmeal, pancakes, cereals and assorted baked goods. The girl (I think her name was Jen) was extremely nice. Couldn't do enough for us. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was a little dated but was being upgraded. Shower did not work and we were upgraded to a larger room which was very nice. Tile and carpet were just getting ready to be replaced otherwise had a good experience. Staff could not do enough for you.

We stay every year at least once at this property and have never been disappointed. Jan at breakfast was warm & helpful and we were good friends by the time we left. She could teach/train other breakfast host!

Hotel stay was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly at my 11pm checkin. The hotel layout was functional and clean. Room was not funky and everything worked well...outlets, tv and clock. Bathroom shower could have been warmer but it was worked fine.

Stayed 4 nights here in this hotel which is very conveniently located next to the I-95. It's a two storey hotel with no elevator so ask for a ground floor room if that is an issue. The hotel is very modestly priced at $70 per night which may help to explain its attraction to large groups of students who choose to stay there (or perhaps access to the I-95 is an attraction too). On the second night of our stay we had to endure a very noisy group of students.... loud chatter, banging doors and pounding on floors which lasted way beyond midnight. I did emerge from my room to request some quiet but, needless to say I was scorned and met with denials from the said guests. At breakfast the next morning I overheard some of the other guests complain about the noise too and how they thought there was a herd of elephants running across their ceilings! I didn't complain at reception as there seemed to be only one female receptionist on duty. A different group of students occupied rooms on our corridor on our first night. They were noisy enough for a while but it was tolerable as they quietened down after 10pm. Our room was large and reasonably comfortable. The bed linen was old and tired though and could be updated. Similarly with the carpets and furniture...tired and dated but clean enough...a little more vacuuming could be done in the corners and behind the cabinets. Of course at $70 per night there has to be a limit to guests' expectations and I'm aware of that fact. I needed an extra blanket and there was no problem getting one. Breakfast was good with hot items provided. Jen, the breakfast server went way beyond the call of duty to ensure that everyone's needs were catered for and engaged all the guests in lively chat. Although the hotel is in a good location for the I-95 there were no restaurants nearby and we had to travel a few miles down the motorway to the next exit where they were available. The road outside the hotel is a very busy one with fast moving traffic. This hotel is in a good location for exploring Newport ....a 26 mile trip via the Newport toll bridge.

My husband and I enjoyed staying at the West Greenwich Best Western for two nights during our recent visit to the Newport, RI area! The hotel is located amongst beautiful pine trees in a quiet area. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was located close to the Rhode Island Ferry in Quonset, also. The first night we arrived late and enjoyed eating dinner at a local restaurant nearby. We would definitely stay here again if we return to this area.

Good hotel for the price. Friendly and helpful staff. Adequate free breakfast. However, the pool needs to be heated during the fall and winter months. We were unable to use the pool because it was too cold.

No smoke detector in the room. Unfriendly reception staff. Frozen breakfast products. The woman servo breakfast was very nice and friendly. When I told staff we were missing a smoke detector they gave me an attitude. I won't return to this hotel. Reception staff at check in were very rude

the hotel decor is a little dated but OMG - the staff (Kristen, Jen, Toni) were wonderful. These ladies were so helpful and accommodating that we felt at home. The pool was crystal clear. The rooms themselves were comfortable and the temp was easy enough to adjust

I must give this hotel a 0 rating bc from the start there were dirty/stained/ripped sheets, smelled, found bugs (4) in room(employees not attentive when found), hot tub was not hot AND chlorine stained skin/hair green.

The staff was pleasant and helpful. The outside was well maintained and had plenty of light. The room was clean. The carpet is worn but it was ok. The restroom was neat. The only complaint we had was the shower water was not strong. But it was hot which made up for it.

The hotel staff was very attentive and accommodating. The girl in the breakfast room also asked if there was anything else she could get us. The room was clean and comfortable but the rug in the room we rented does need to be removed or replaced.

We primarily chose this location due to it's proximity to the Mishnock Barn where we would be dancing during the evenings. And, it's only a 15 minute drive from the Providence airport. There are very few places nearby to eat dinner. We did have a good breakfast at the Gentlemen's just down the street. The Woods Tavern is close, typical sports bar cuisine, good burgers., but other than that you have to drive at least 30 minutes to find a decent meal.

Great helpful staff. Manager even came around to make sure everything was fine. Breakfast server was exceptional for service and friendliness. Room service was good, always had fresh towels and bed made daily. Everything was in working order. No surprises.

Great value for my money! Continental breakfast had a large variety and made a great start to my day each day I was there! Everything was clean and the room service tidied everything up to perfection! Location was wonderful as well with only being around 20 minutes to drive to Providence!

Another run down room in need of some TLC. Traveling with my 1yr old twins. Set them on the floor of my room to crawl around after a 4hr drive. Picked them up and the knees of their pants were wet and black from the carpet... Guess that explains why it smells damp, moldy and musty in here. Laminate on the Furnature is peeling off, the carpet looks gross and there are mystery splatter stains all over the wall. It just feels grody.

Stay for a wedding. Breakfast was good but on the cold side. Still would recommend and stay again. Had two rooms for family. Friendly staff. Did not like people smoking right out side of entrance doors.

Needed a place to stay for one night - college move-in. Unfortunately a holiday weekend, so the rates jumped tremendously. Clean, basic hotel. Friendly staff at time of reservation and during the stay. Offers a breakfast.

Tremendious value with great beds, very good breakfast selection, great, woodsy restful location for the job I'm on, & secluded location even though it is right on I-95. Great internet service for working. I look forward to coming back each time the job brings me to that corner of Rhode Island.

The hotel is right off 95, so it was an easy starting point for our travels to Newport and Providence. Its location to gas, food and necessities is excellent. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating, the breakfast was good and plentiful although the selections were few. Our door lock was broken but it didn't affect our stay. The room was relatively clean (we always go over our rooms with disinfectant wipes and check for bed bugs) except for a filthy armchair and a less than sparkling toilet.

1. Breakfast was the worst I ever had at a Best Western. Cold oatmeal; stale pastry; toaster that didn't get bread toasted. Only good thing about the breakfast was the friendly, helpful young woman who manned the food. 2. Left dirty washcloths at the sink. Had to go to the desk for clean ones. 3. We checked in on a Tuesday when we left on a Thursday the garbage pail in the parking lot was still overflowing with trash. 4. The key cards did not work. Had to get the re-programmed. 5. The room itself was clean and the staff at the front desk was friendly.

Great place. Easy to get to, friendly, professional staff. Everything always seems to be just right when we stay there. Been there several times, and will continue to stay in West Greenwich with them when we travel to Rhode Island.

The staff was rude, the room was dirty, (carpet wet). I report the wet carpet to the desk clerk and was not offered another room. The AC in the room did not cool down the room for a comfortable night of sleep. The internet did not work and thankfully I was able to download my boarding pass on my phone, and if you were not at breakfast at the crack of dawn you probably won't get fed.

The hotel is close to I95 but very quiet. The staff was very friendly although we did have the misfortune of having a false fire alarm at 6am. The hotel has many amenities and is well kept. Breakfast was ample but not fancy.

The room was clean, breakfast was hot, and the staff very friendly and always happy. A happy face at breakfast time is always a good thing. Staff always had an answer for every question asked. I inquired about a good local place for seafood and staff had a quick answer, and I enjoyed the restaurant they suggested.

It was kinda strange at first we were the only car there for awhile then another car came so we said ok.. The front desk was friendly and took good care of us. Are room needed a good cleaning . The location was good for passing thru.

We chose to stay here due to the hotel's proximity to Newport. It's an easy and picturesque drive to see the Newport mansions. The drive starts out on the Interstate but quickly turns more scenic crossing waterways and following the shore. In total it's about 25 minutes to Newport. There is a good pizza place nearby, Wicked Good Pizza. The breakfast is included in the price of your stay. The attendant Jen is great. All of the staff we interacted with were similarly helpful. If I come back to Rhode Island, this is the place I'm booking.

The staff were very helpful and the hotel was conveniently located for activities in which I was engaging on the weekend. It added to the pleasure of my weekend. I will look forward to a future visit. The breakfast room was crowded but the staff member went out of her way to facilitate the experience and attend to the needs of individuals.

The front desk person was terrible! A lobby full of guests and she was on the phone! Almost swiped CC a second time on a pre paid room! Forgot to register one key. Overweight breakfast lady telling everyone how young she looks lol

The Hotel is nice, the staff were pleasant, but the pillows should be regular side pillows not small square pillows. For the price we paid we should have had better bedding. A one night stay is too pricey. However we liked the location and the decor..

We were unlucky enough to stay here for 2 nights while visiting Newport, and also paid way too much for it (199/night) - it normally goes for a 1/3 of that, which is a much more reasonable price for it. The place is pretty run down, and does not appear to have been renovated in decades. Things around the room are rusty, cracked, and old. Even most switch covers were cracked, which I have not seen before. Those probably cost pennies to replace, so it is strange that they would put so little effort into maintaining the room. The only positive was that the bedding was clean, and the bed was relatively comfortable. The hotel looks ok from the outside, and has an indoor pool that looks decent (did not use). You can skip the awful breakfast. Btw, Newport is only 27mi away, but takes at least 45 min to get to from here (with 2 tolls), so it is not a great location if your destination is Newport.

We stayed two nights and were pleased with everything. Our room was clean and comfortable and quiet. We would definitely stay there when we are back in the area. The staff from the front desk and the breakfast room was welcoming and friendly.

Let me preface this by saying I stayed here 3 years ago and found it wonderful. This experience tells me I won't stay there again. Drove up to R.I. from N.J. for two funerals. It was a long drive with a 3 month old and 21 month old during which my 21 month old threw up all over herself and the car seat. I got in around 9pm with plenty of things that needed a washing machine (namely the cover for her car seat). Naturally, the washing machine was broken. The front desk person didn't apologize in the least or offer a solution, just said, "I've been here a week and a half and it's never worked." My toilet was broken in the bathroom and I basically had to listen to running water all night. Also, the people below me apparently expected more from a Best Western and I had to deal with them complaining that my 3 year old was running in my room. He had been separated from me for the day, he was just excited. Further, they make you sign and initial you won't smoke, but the entire floor WREAKED of smoke. People may as well have been smoking in the hallways as you walked around. It was really awful. The worst part was obviously the washing machine. I had to wash things in the tub and that really didn't help get the smell out. The air conditioning unit is a joke. I don't know if I've ever been more humid in a hotel room. Also,I know it's only 2 floors, but 2 kids and no elevator? If my parents weren't there, I have no idea how I would've gotten everything upstairs.

We stayed in 8 different Best Westerns over the course of 9 days in a giant family road trip vacation. This one was the most disappointing hotel of our trip. The management tells its visitors at the desk that the hotel is under renovation. Whatever they are doing to renovate needs to be hurried up. Right now the rooms are what my wife described in one word as "dumpy." I would call them "tired". The laundry facilities were broken, which is too bad because I picked this hotel specifically because it offered coin operated laundry services to its guests. The room was okay size-wise. It was pretty much a carbon copy of most of the rooms we stayed in except for the chair, which had a spring that poked you right in the back. Not just a little, but a lot. My routine is to sit in the chair and look for the next night's hotel (we travel with a pretty loose itinerary) and I was not impressed by such an obvious problem that can be fixed without having to call in a workman. Toss out the stained, broken chair and bring in the new one that will go in the newly re-modeled rooms. It will just be there a bit early. The doors to the outside do not automatically lock. 6 of the 8 Best Westerns we stayed in had those sorts of doors and I consider that to be an industry standard. it is close to several restaurants. We ate at a local place and had a good meal and only had to drive a couple of minutes. The breakfast was good. One of the reasons we pick Best Western is the breakfasts. I used the treadmill in the fitness center. It was an okay treadmill. There is a TV directly in front of the treadmill, which is nice. I hope that this hotel becomes something great once it is completely renovated. It has potential.

This was not what we expected - room smelled musty and felt clammy disputes using the air conditioning. Housekeeping was minimal at best for the overnight stay. Would not recommend this to anyone- spend a bit more and enjoy a better experience.

This Best Western in West Greenwich, Rhode Island is a wonderful hotel, close to the freeways yet tucked away amid beautiful trees! It is close to the lovely East Greenwich village and marina. Charming town with amazing restaurants and local cusine. A true delight to get back to after a busy day!

Spacious rooms, quiet location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast pretty good and pool/hot tub was great. Rooms are being renovated, none of the redone rooms were ready when we were here, but be sure to ask.

I usually make due with any hotel with regards to handicapped access, however I made reservations in March for an 18 day stay in July. Upon my arrival they not only gave my accessible room away, they had the audacity to say they can't reserve a handicapped room. It's the equivalent of saying we can't take reservations from people of color. Truly dispicable!

Great people- super friendly & nice; very professional & caring. Made me feel at home. The ladies who work there were great. Check-in; check-out; breakfast...all just great...even at 5:15AM. They do not "open" the breakfast until 5:30AM, but they went out of their way to accommodate me. Thank you all, you were great!

Overall good stay. Clean room, nice staff. Nice area. Close attractions etc. Breakfast was good, what you would expect. We were in for a 40th birthday party and it fit our needs. Enjoy staying at Best Western.

We were only here in this hotel for about 9 hours, but it was perfect for our needs. We went to a wedding in Newport RI, but since we were only able to attend last minute due to a work commitment canceling, the prices in Newport hotels were ridiculously high (not that they're cheap to begin with). Considering we only needed a place to sleep before our drive back home, we chose a hotel right along 95 on our drive west. This property was about 30 min from Newport, and was perfectly situated right off the highway. We got there about midnight but the front desk clerk was polite and helpful, the room was clean, and we got a decent night's sleep before starting on our road trip, so we got exactly what we wanted out of it. Not a bad breakfast in the morning either, which saved us another stop. I also noted that there was a pool and a small workout room, which we didn't have time to use but might have if we were there longer. I notice a few bad reviews about certain rooms because of the ongoing renovations. Maybe we got lucky but even checking in late on a weekend night we got a nice clean room that seems to have already been renovated, so perhaps this will be done and all the rooms will be as nice. I would definitely recommend or stay here again for a quick overnight, but I can't speak to what there is to do or see in the immediate vicinity.

The only thing about this hotel was the friendliness of the staff. Our room was dirty, had a funky smell, and the sheets hadn't been washed. The door was coming off the hinges, and the remote for the tv wouldn't work. The hot tub was the same temperature as the pool, and both were about 60 degree's so we couldn't even enjoy that. The breakfast area is really small and they don't offer as much as the pictures would suggest.

This hotel need renovation, cleaning, new carpets and better cleaning policies. Breakfast was very good, however did not have any meat to go with the eggs. The carpet in our room was torn, covered with a throw rug. It was this way back in Novemeber when we stayed in the same room

This hotel is in desperate need of a renovation. Our room was damp and smelled horribly musty. The walls, floors, and shower had nasty stains. The pool area was trecherous with huge puddles of water everywhere. Breakfast options were very limited. This was more like a $50 motel room than a best western! The staff was very friendly and helpful though.

Convenient stay and quick checkin despite it being independence weekend. Would definitely stay again. Front desk staff was courteous and accommodating. Limited breakfast options but surroundings make up for it.

Tara's Wedding - the majority of the wedding party and guests used this hotel for the wedding. All services were 100% top notch. We would suggest this hotel for brides to be when getting married in Warwick, RI

If you like airless rooms when you arrive this is your jam. Some employees went above but most were just collecting their check. This place needs a major overhaul with new management. The breakfast hostess was a bright spot in an otherwise dismal stay.

This was randomly selected as a mid-point stopover on a longer trip. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Breakfast was hearty. We have had reliably good experiences with Best Western in the past, even though I think many are individually owned.

the hotel is older, there is not an elevator. smell of cigarette smoke in hall ways. staff was accommodating but I don't think they are used to a full house. someone else's room smelled of mildew. we had hair in our shower. but the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. the breakfast area was fully stocked the food was hot and tasted pretty good. they had a lot of fruit and a very cool pancake maker that was kid friendly.

Check in and out was quick and easy, staff was very friendly, room was very clean. Room cost was $100.68 total for one night which was more than reasonable. Free breakfast was included with the room purchase and was really good. Slept very well in a comfortable king sized bed. Room was very quiet and had flat screen television, cable TV, free internet access , a refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer, ironing board, desk with chair to use as a work station. This was my second time staying at this location this year and I will definitely be staying here again.

Wonderful hotel great location shopping mall fifteen minutes away. Dan's restaurant close don't order ribs or fries. All employees very helpful friendly. Pool hot tub great all in all was a wonderful place to stay wish our stay could have been longer. Will return next year God willing.

The hotel is in very good condition. The beds we had were excellent. NOT a springy bed. You shouldn't disturb your sleeping partner. We were there when they were a pretty full house. They tended to be stingy with the towels because of that, but just ask for more. The breakfast was okay. Standard hot items. A little short on the cold items. They were having trouble with smokers (non-smoking hotel), but they resolved those issues for us, including changing our room. Hotels near downtown Providence were pricey. That's why we stayed here, and it worked out just fine.

The place was very dated, dirty, and smelly. We booked a 3 night stay. After seeing our room we immediately started making other plans to stay at another hotel. Unfortunately, we coudl not find one for the first night, but we made reservations at another for the rest of our stay. Staff was not friendly or attentive. I will not stay at a Best Western again, this was my second attempt to give them an opportunity to win me over. We have had a similar experience in another Best Western; but I can guarantee there will not be a third chance.

This hotel needs a major refurbishment.Had two rooms.One room had the sink drain laying on the floor when we entered and the carpet was wet,also smelt moldy.No refrigerator in room .Second room had a big carpet patch that was a tripping hazard and the ceiling had a sizable water stain that was haphazardly painted.After two night stay room was not vacuumed or the trash pails emptied.Stayed at this hotel a few times without any issue but after this time I will not stay there anymore

Staff was great, breakfast was hot and well presented. Quiet area, no disturbances overnight and lots of options for dining just down the road. Beautiful part of the country and family atmosphere . Lake shore and beach nearby.

I would not hesitate to stay here again. The lady at check in was helpful and so nice to talk to and got us quickly registered and to our room. The room was nice and clean and the beds were comfy. Breakfast was good and the lady was so friendly and helpful. Check out was quick and easy. Easy off and on to interstate and nice location.

Really disappointed by this stay. GPS took me 5 miles the wrong way which when I told the lady on reception was clearly not the first time it's been said . Do something about it then ! I arrived in the early hours of the morning so was I far too tired to do anything about it but the room stunk ! It was old and stale and really off putting. Breakfast in the morning was a grab and go and whilst I wouldn't stay again all the staff I met were friendly.

Room was good. When room was being cleaned trashes were never emptied. Other kids running thru hotel knocking on doors and running all hours of the night. Other than that amazing stay! Would recommend

Several times a year I stay at the Best Western/West Greenwich with a dance group. This time I stayed here as the hotels in Newport (and Middletown) were outrageously expensive. Great place to stay - about 40 minutes from Newport. Easy access to Rte. 95. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean.

This hotel is located off the highway. Close enough to the highway to get me where I needed to be, but far enough from the highway so I could not hear the traffic. Hotel staff were most pleasant and helpful Room was big and bed was comfy.

Since we travel the I95 corridor often, we find that when our leisure or business takes us to this area of RI/CT/MA, we choose BW West Greenwich. The rooms are clean & comfortable. The property is attractive. Staff shows pride in their facility and work. There are other amenities in addition to the hot breakfast: a fitness area, pool, and business corner. We always feel at home here.

The staff goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Check in went very smoothly. Express check-out absolutely recommended. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the Providence area.

This was one of the worst places I have stayed in a long time. It was very run down and outdated. The front desk was not very professional. I was given the wrong room number on my key. Went back to front desk to correct situation, then, key wouldn't open the right room. So, back to the front desk I had to go. I booked through a third party so wasn't aware pool and jacuzzi was not available....

My trip was originally cut shorter and was able to make arrangements to change my dates with no problem at all. I have used this Best Western quite a few times and have never been unsatisfied. The front desk, upon arrival, was very helpful because both my husband and I have handicaps. The pool had problems but I had no intention on using it, seeing we are from Florida and it was quite cool for both of us. I would highly recommend this particular Best Western!

Room was clean and lovely decorated. Staff was very friendly and competent. Beautifully located atop a small hill. Close to Providence. Nearby to various malls and restaurants .Would diffiently recommend to friends and family.

We only stayed one night we didn't use any of the amenities so can't be to helpful there only small personal complaint is the mattress was to plush I like it more firm just a personal preference but very cleanly ++

Already booked my next vacation in June at a different hotel. Will never stay at a Best Western again and have told others that they are better somewhere else, which a dear friend is staying at a hotel for the next week via another chain and loved my new recommendation. Here are my reasons for not staying at another Best Western. I specifically chose this for my daughter who has autism and he really wanted a place with a pool, in fact I restructured my stay for this hotel. My husband, who is disabled, also was looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub near the pool. Neither were operational and when I asked why, not one person working there knew why. The staff was great with the breakfast and enjoyed helping my children with their pancakes, they were VERY helpful and kind! Here is a word of warning, be careful of the carbon monoxide detector that is plugged into the wall close to the floor. If you knock into it while walking, it will go off. This was VERY loud and the staff plugged it back in immediately, telling me that happens often. If you have a child with autism that has audio issues,,,this does not have a positive outcome. Also, if you expect your deposit back.....forget about it. We cleaned our room, made sure the trash went out, made sure the proper amount of towels and washcloths were accounted for but, even though I have sent emails, I have not received a response. I have already booked a return trip to the area in the near future and it is definitely not this one nor another BEST WESTERN hotel. In fact, I am staying a bit out of the way just so I do not have to stay here and have my daughter cringe with her memories of the carbon monoxide detector going off. Wi-Fi is available but it is slow and it cut out a few times, as did the cable. Will not stay there again and will not recommend.

This place was great! We booked just one night and we can hands down say it was awesome ! Starting with The staff, Kristin in particular was so sweet from the second we entered the doors. Helped with everything!!! Room was clean, very spacious! Breakfast wasn't anything fancy, but it was still good and there are quite a few options. The pool heater wasn't working which sucked a bit (but it's still open) the hot tub made up for it especially since it's still cold out! We cannot complain. We absolutely loved this place. Nice and cozy. Definitely recommend & definitely will come here again!

I love the staff and they're great at helping out, wonderful and splendid rooms with great amenities, great gym. Great location with all the natural beauty and serenity with stores at near reach. Absolutely loved the place. You should definitely try.

Family members stay here every year returning for visit and HIGHLY Recommend. Nice, Quiet (Bucolic) setting and EASY access to highway. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast display as nice as could be-taste average for price. Will go back

Hotel is conveniently located right off Rt 95. Hotel was clean, excellent breakfast included, Hotel personnel were friendly, and courteous. Our room also had a coffee make, microwave and refrigerator. We stayed for 5 nights.

Nice stay again at this hotel, room was clean and comfortable, beds were very comfortable. Very well kept grounds, nice indoor pool, was a bit cool for being heated but a nice swim anyway, kids enjoyed it though. Very present staff got several hellos from the staff passing in the halls. The hotel was hosting several out of town guests for a cheerleading competition as well as a track meet, the hotel was full but ran smooth and very organized. We will be staying again if in the area.

Overall it was very nice experience. The service was excellent and staff was very helpful. Breakfast was also very good. Its good value for what you pay. Kids have enjoyed the indoor pool. Shower was not cleaned good but other then that I don't have any negatives.

Spent 2 nights while exploring the eastern shore and Newport. This was a convenient location and quiet as it was set back from the highway. It had a great pool and hottub. The rooms were comfortable and clean as I expect from BW hotels. Nice breakfast with lots of choices. I would stay here again.

This is a very clean, comfortable, and economical place to stay. As a single grandparent, I brought my two young grandchildren for the night while their parents loaded up their moving truck. We had an enjoyable time in the pool/spa, found a family-friendly bedtime moving to watch, and slept comfortably all night. The breakfast staff was outstanding and the food very good. We've stayed here once before as well. Very nice and fit our budget.

The location is great, right off the highway. My room was clean and comfortable. I really didn't take advantage of anything they offered as it was just a quick work trip. I would stay again if in the area.

This staff needs to be taught the meaning of hospitality. At check -in the desk girl bad mouthed the previous guest to me, who I happened to be in the same party as! The food was horrible and when I asked the girl at breakfast what time check out was, she said "I don't know, I only work in the dining room." I will not stay here again.

After being totally disappointed with another hotel, we got a room here. Clean, comfortable, very acceptable place. Right off 95, in fact if you're not looking you'll miss their sign. Opposite the Sunoco station at the exit...motel is next to the Super 8 and up the hill. No elevators, so if stairs are an issue do not get a 2nd floor room. In fact, from the front portico it is a 4-5 step-up entrance.Typical small coffee pot with packaged pod in the room, microwave and mini fridge too. Ice machines near lobby, so may be a walk from a 2nd floor room. Separate room near lobby for complimentary breakfast, which we did not try. Dunkin' Donuts a block away, for quick "get on the road" people.

I would give it a zero if I could. We decided to stay at the Best Western Inn-West Greenwich because I was offered a good deal, and it was in a quiet location, as opposed to the one by T.F. Green. Since the moment I entered the room, I was overwhelmed with stuffiness and a smell of mustiness, like the smell you get when someone leaves their clothes in the washer too long. I didn't even want to shower! The bathroom smelled worse! I was forced to eventually shower and the dispensers had no shampoo or body wash. My husband called about it the smell, and they said a "technician" would be in to take care of the problem. They tidied up the room but it's as though they just went in and sprayed something over the nasty smell! We hardly spent any time in that room because of this problem. They never offered to switch us rooms. Our neighbors were party animals, very noisy, and we couldn't drown out the noise with a television because that wasn't working at all! This is the first and LAST time I book a room based on pricing. I understand this isn't a luxury hotel but if you're in the business of hospitality you should at least meet minimum sanitary requirements!

We stayed here because the price was right and they had a heated pool for my grandson. Only the pool wasn't heated and was freezing cold. The hot tub is puny but at least the water was warm. The room had some type of fake air freshener in the air conditioner that smelled awful. Luckily we we only in the room a very short time both nights. I probably would not stay here again although it seemed clean and was quiet. I didn't go down to the breakfast area but my husband and sister did and said it was fine. The parking was perfect. We were along the left side of the building and could get back and forth to our car easily. Super 8 hotel is also at this location, maybe I'd take a look at that. The lady at the front desk was very nice and housekeeping always said hello.

This hotel is my "go to" hotel to stay when I'm in Rhode Island to visit my daughter in college there. The rooms are large and clean. The beds are comfortable. The sink and mirror are separate from the toiled and shower which is nice when staying with others. It is nestled in a quiet, wooded area but walking distance to the gas station and a few hundred yards from I -95. They have a breakfast buffet with is okay at best and a pool & hot tub with access to picnic area.

I love the beach and every grain of sand on it but if you've seen one grain you have pretty much seen them all. The hotel/motel is clean and basic. The staff are accommodating and the free breakfast is perfectly satisfactory . The small workout facility , well it works out. I am not at all damning the place with faint praise. It performs as advertised. That is enough. Yes, we would stay again should the occasion call for it.

Hotel was great for ease of travel for family get together in R. I. area. Booked 3 rooms, all were clean and comfortable. Hotel amenities were fine. We only spent one night and didn't have time to experience all the hotel had to offer. Breakfast was just fine and a great timesaver for our needs. Would use this hotel again in the future.

Good hotel. Nestled in the woods right off the expressway. Quiet as well. No elevator, but does have 2 stories. Skeleton staff makes it hard if there is an issue. We used the pool, hot tub, and fitness room. All were small, but serviceable. I recommend the hotel, but if any problems creep up, they might take a day to get fixed (we had a broken toilet).

Very nice clean hotel central to everything in Rhode Island. lovely breakfast, with eggs, sausage and a cool pancake machine that my kids loved! Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Hotel is in a secluded wooded area, very peaceful.

The room had a terrible, musty smell. The maid did nothing to improve the odor. When we called the front desk, NO ONE answered the phone on two separate occasions. We were basically thrown out of our room even though we had been given permission to stay a bit later. A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE ALL THE WAY FROM CHECK IN TO CHECK OUT. We will NEVER be back at this hotel.

Best Western, West Greenwich Inn, Rhode Island was very comfortable. A quiet setting. Rooms were fine, clean and adequate. Breakfast was poor. Not a good selection. If in the area, I would stay at this motel again. (But not for breakfast)

A very quiet hotel in a quiet wooded location with a nice indoor pool and hot tub. There is easy access to Jamestown, Newport, the Breakers and beaches The roads are well maintain and well marked. Nice.

This Best Western is in a quiet area surrounded by nice trees with lots of safe, well-lit parking. We were greeted by a very friendly and cheerful front desk clerk and were given a room next to our friends whom we were travelling with. The lobby is very pretty with a large fireplace. Our room was big, clean and the bathroom has a nice vanity. There was lots of storage for hanging clothes. The indoor pool is quite large for a hotel, and the hot tub was great to relax in. The free breakfast was more than adequate, and the room was large enough to seat several people. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the area.

Ours was an extended stay exploring our Rhode Island roots. Located just off I-95 mid way. Management made us an economical offer. Rooms clean and comfortable, staff attentive and were quick to correct very minor issues. Motel renovated and further updates are seamless to guests. Pool, spa and fitness rooms looked great but we did not use. Parking close to entrance doors and the landscaping well done making our coming and going feel quite secure. Location is surrounded by trees and off by itself so we drove 5 or 6 miles for dinner. Would definitely return in future.

We stayed three days here, two to many. Should have left Tuesday when we arrived back in the evening to unserviced room. We were told sorry we had someone walk out today, make a list and we will deliver what you need. We demanded to change rooms and were allowed after a conflict at the front desk. The lady manager was snappy and inconsiderate...felt like she was doing us a favor for staying in this hole. Another manager persuaded me to stay because we could benefit from the two stay promo by checking us in and out between the days of our stay to generate two separate stays and receive a gift card. The next day he informed us it wasn't going to fly after we booked for three days. the final day we returned back to find a nasty pair of mens underwear under the desk. After approaching the manager we were told if that happened to him he would "skid addle out of here". We did the next morning. Good thing is there is a wonderful Best Western in Groton Conn. just minutes away. Please do yourself a favor and go there! the breakfast alone is well worth the 18$ more.

This Best Western is in a remote area, surrounded by trees. It is in need of some TLC. Very outdated lobby and hallways. Our room was in bad shape- the smell of mold and mildew was very strong. Water stains on the ceiling, very worn linens, chair was so stained. It, along with the floor lamp, were broken. The floor lamp was propped up in the corner and the nasty chair was propped up against the lamp- mismatched, broken furniture. Indoor pool and hot tub were okay. Our concern is that the tiles surrounding this area were very wet and very slippery- be careful. The complimentary breakfast was fine, there were plenty of items to chose from. The lady overseeing breakfast had a tip jar on the counter. Kinda tacky in our opinion. We stay in a lot of hotels and have never seen this before, except for omelet bars. Anyway, we were quite disappointed with our room and this hotel. Thank you.

Front desk staff was very friendly. Allow us to check in early the first day. This allowed us to do our sightseeing at the Mystic Aquarium. The next day, we grabbed a quick bite before heading out. As we were leaving, we notice the breakfast staff grab the pancake machine while another guest was standing there. On our final day, we had express checkout, but wanted to get a bite. At the other BW, we could grab a bagel on our way out five minutes after bkfast ended. Here, all food was removed promptly. When the staff rolled her eyes, we decided it wasn't worth the hassle. Guess she was in the army.

Average BW. I have stayed at this location previously. It is a little more run-down than I remembered but overall a decent stay and good for the value. I stayed at 7 hotels during my vacation so they are all starting to run together for me. A terrific pool stands out at one; a super comfy bed stands out at another (neither are at BW) but overall, as I said, I was pleased with my stay.Look for the Super8 sign when driving as the BW sign is a bit hidden. They are on the same entrance. You will need a car here as they're didn't seem to be a heck of a lot in the surrounding area that one could walk to.

I stayed at this hotel last year and had a pretty good impression of the place. As I was returning to Rhode Island again this year, I thought I would book our 4 night stay there. BAD MISTAKE! I checked the tripadvisor rating and it was 4 stars. There is no way it should be rated as such. The hotel is quite rundown and badly in need of a face lift. Carpets are in very rough shape and emit a musty odour. The carpet in our room had a patched ceiling from a previous water leak and a large square of patched carpet (see photos). The seal around the bathtub was discoloured and unsightly. The housekeeping service was shoddy to say the least. Our room was not vacuumed in the 4 days we were there and I had to go to the front desk to get replacement soaps and coffee supplies, as none were replaced. The breakfast buffet has little variety and is the SAME each and every day! How hard is it to change up sausage for bacon?? I'm done with this place. I've decided to try the SUPER 8...right next door, when I return to the area.

I have 5 photos showing that the bedding in our room was either dirty or stained. This is unacceptable. When I tried to address this with the front desk person, she gave me an attitude. This location is independently owned, which perhaps explains why the stained bedding is still being used instead of replaced - is the owner trying to save $$ while risking losing customers? I was very disappointed. This location represents the BW chain and made me question the reliability of quality. Is getting a good experience based on the location? It shouldn't be that way. I should expect consistent quality. I would like a FULL refund for having gotten a room with dirty/stained bedding. The hotel was booked so I couldn't switch rooms. This meant that the front desk person had to bring me clean sheets and I had to re-make mine and my children's bed - this is unacceptable. By the time we arrived at the hotel, it was very late - after 10:30p.m. The front desk person's response the next morning was that I should've just left the hotel - it had been my choice to stay despite the dirty/stained sheets. What kind of response is that?? How unprofessional and what terrible customer service. She obviously wasn't interested in seeing the situation from my view - I had arrived late in the evening with my family, expecting a welcoming and clean room and what we got instead was dirty bedding. By the time I noticed the dirty/stained bedding, we had already taken showers and were ready for bed. A full refund is the only acceptable resolution to my experience. I plan to contact the manager next week (he is not in this week) and will contact the corporate office if this is not taken care of to my satisfaction.

I didn't read the reviews before booking because it was for one quick night stay but I did see it had a 4-star rating so I figured it was a safe bet. It wasn't terrible but our experience was not great. The bathroom sink did not drain (You would think the cleaning staff would have informed someone). I told the front desk on checkout but didn't get an apology for the inconvenience. The bathroom had an annoying mildew smell and there was a rip in the rug in the bedroom area. It's quite possible that other rooms were in better condition than ours. The room was acceptable but the bed was on the hard side but comfortable enough. The pillows were very good and I liked the air conditioner since it didn't keep shutting on and off throughout the night. Breakfast was acceptable but they ran out of yogurt and didn't have anymore. Also, for some reason teabags were not left out and I had to ask for one. I got a good rate since I booked a nonrefundable one right before we left the house for $80 + tax. We didn't use the pool or exercise room so I can't comment on those. Overall, it's not bad for a one or two night stay. It's also conveniently located right off the highway.

Nice hotel but they didn't inform us of broken pool heater until after we booked, arrived, and jumped into very cold pool. I vacation with my grandson and look specifically for heated pools where we stay. They should have informed us. So make sure you check before making your reservations.

I love this hotel! We have been staying at this hotel for all of our get-a-ways for the past 3-4 years. We are treated like family when we stay here. Staff greets us by name and we rarely have a complaint or bad experience. If something does come up that we feel is an issue, the staff fixes it immediately.

We stayed again this year, after not being happy with the stay last year, because we were offered a %50 discount to come again. We were very happy with the price and expected a much better stay. We were very disappointed when, knowing we had issues last time, we still had issues this time. Most of the issues seem to be with housekeeping. Our room had an off and on terrible musty odor, we had to go to the front desk twice to get toilet paper (not sure why extra aren't left in the room?), one day housekeeping didn't come at all and the next day when they did come, we had to have them come back to make bed and take garbage and even then new towels were not left.

We were back in our old home state for funeral and to visit with family and friends. We needed a convenient location. This hotel is showing its age a little but it was clean. While we were there the outside landscape was updated and refreshed. The hot tub was great and the indoor pool is quiet and clean. The room is a good size with a refridgerator that was larger than a cube. We had a first floor room and although you could hear footsteps overhead it was still a quiet location.

I would say this place was average. We got a good rate as it was about 20-25 minutes from Newport where we spent most of our time. Right off the highway and was very quiet. I say average because I thought it was a little outdated. Staff was nice and we had no problems with anything. Breakfast was OK, nothing speacial.

My wife and I and our son stayed at the B.W. in West Greenwich, RI, we got an excellent deal on the room. The breakfast was great I loved the pancake maker just push the button and you'll have 2 cooked pancakes in 1 minute

We had a one night stay that this Best Western so we could enjoy the wonderful experience of Waterfire in Providence. The twenty ride into the city from West Greenwich was very easy to make both before and after the event. By staying a little outside the city we could get a reasonable room rate. The motel is close to the Interstate, well designed, quiet, clean and comfortable. The pool area and fitness center looked very nice but we did not use them. The breakfast offerings were good, but I did miss the waffle machine. We will planning on staying here again when we are in the area.

We stayed here because there were no more hotels with a pool close enough to the RW Zoo, but not in a busy area, during this past mother's day weekend. This hotel is dated, as in don't walk barefoot in your room kind of dated. The carpet has seen better days, decades ago. The bathroom was decent. No closet space but the room had a microwave and a dorm fridge. Breakfast was, sorry but disgusting. Yogurt, sausage patties and eggs were available the first morning, but not the next. Also, you can tell we were eating leftovers from earlier days. Forget about fresh fruits as well. Yuck! Grab a cup of coffee but eat somewhere else. No late checkout either. They won't bend anything in this hotel. First and last time we're staying here. For the price, i expected more.

This hotel is tucked away and surrounded by trees just off and above the highway. Quiet location, level access, but no elevator (lift). Was able to ask for a ground floor room. The pool and jacuzzi in good order, just watch your step on the slippery tiles. Breakfast not quite as good as other BW hotels.

This hotel has very old carpet everywhere, except inside of room. This old carpet make me feel cheap on this hotel. During morning breakfast time, item refill is slow. Many items are empty. The breakfast item selection is limited too.

stayed here for my nieces graduation from Johnson & Wales and had a great stay the breakfast was very good and and the staff were very professional and kind . The rooms were comfortable and clean will be back

flat screen, microwave, frig.. and a nice bed. My only complain is that since I am a disabled vet, the handicapped parking spaces should be by ALL doors, not on the other end of the lot in the front. There was a problem with the reading desk and when the front was told about it, maintenance was on it before we could hang up the phone

Overall, this was an OK stay. The check-in woman in the afternoon was very courteous and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable, although the hallways smelled like smoke to me. I had to leave early in the morning, around 5 am. The night-shift guy was pretty rude. I asked if I could get a glass of juice since I was checking out early at 5 am, he was adamant that the breakfast wasn't available until 6. I said all I wanted was a glass of orange juice. He said, "the juice machine is locked until 6." Whatever. He basically spoiled what was otherwise a pleasant stay.

The staff was aware of previous complaints regarding the condition of the mattress in this room. The coils could be felt through the mattress. The "reason" they hadn't done anything about it is because the ada beds have to be lower. I suggested adding a mattress topping. They said "what a good idea" but I doubt they fixed. The tv wouldn't work until they reconnected a cable box that was hanging from the wall...but they came to do it quickly.

Nice Hotel, with friendly staff. Hotel rooms are nice and clean, beds a bit hard, but ok. Breakfast is average, you cannot compare with european standards here. Warm breakfast = hard cooked eggs, potatoes and hacked meat.

Our recent stay at Best Western Hotel in West Greenwich was very satisfactory. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly. We were provided with coffee in the room. We always have our computer with us, so welcomed the internet access provided by the hotel. The complementary breakfast was great.

Carmen was the staff member in the morning, she was very warm, friendly, and helpful The hot tub was amazing the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the breakfast needs to be upgraded in quality as well as quantity the bed was comfortable, and the room was clean, but needed dusting I would definitely return when I'm looking for a quiet, getaway.

This hotel was nothing like the negative reviews posted. In my opinion the place was great: quiet location; rooms were freshly painted and carpeted with seemingly new bedding; bathrooms were clean; the whole place smelled neutral, no odors. The lobby has the feel of a county lodge. The building is clean brick and handsome to look at surrounded by woods. The owner needs to change the branding of this location and act like the 3 to 3.5 star property it actually is and shed any previous images. On the downside: there is no elevator, the breakfast items are low quality like they came from the discount rack of a wholesale club and the coffee was weak. Please switch to real eggs, quality meats and fresh potatoes, get rid of the automatic pancake machine and provide real juice and other condiments, same goes for the "honey flavored or the maple flavored syrup". Once some of these things are done, raise the rates a little and get in a good clientele. Best of luck.

The Staff is Great....Carmen who is at the front desk goes beyond to accommodate her guests !!! We have been there too many times due to very bad weather in the past year...But every experience has been "Like family".. Would Not have it any other way.. Reason this means soo much to me is that they help me to Help my mother and they make it easy !!

Very old and run down + smelly. We visit the area to visit relatives a couple times each year but will not be staying here again. Yes, I realize it is cheap but dirty and stinky it is. I'll pay a little more and stay elsewhere.

Stayed here a few times now and always have a great experience, we stayed here when we first moved to RI for 2 months and they were very accommodating. Pool is currently being renovated but will be worth it when done.

I can't say enough about how wonderful the staff here is. I booked a room for my elderly father in law using a third party site and there were some issues on check in (having to do with third party site not the hotel) the problem was handled quickly, efficiently and with a smile. They were thoughtful enough to put my father in law on a bottom floor so it would be less walking for him as well. It was also a really nice touch that they rembered our names throughout our stay . The hotel itself was very clean and well appointed although the rugs/furniture are a bit worn. We loved this place because of the staff and I think you will too!

This hotel features clean and spacious rooms and a nice, off-the-street location. The service was fine and the amenities were as to be expected. The prices are very reasonable. In fact, I was tempted to give this place four stars, but the breakfast was such a let-down compared to other Best Westerns I've been to, that I just couldn't do it. The options were pretty limited and there was almost no fruit and no proteins to speak of - just various types of starches (e.g. cereal, rolls, pancakes, etc.) So thumbs up on the rooms and prices. Thumbs down on the breakfast.

As far as sleeping, internet and comfort, this Best Western is very good. Comfortable bed, helpful staff. When I needed a toothbrush, the front desk clerk searched and found one lone toothbrush and brought it to my door. The internet worked quite reasonably. Not high enough bandwidth to run a movie without skips, but adequate for everything else. As far as food, nothing to write home about. The eggs seemed packaged. They ran out of sausage the first (of three) day we were there. We ended up going to Middle Of Nowhere Diner just down the street.

i arrived on Christmas day i was booked for 17 days and it was nothing i would have expedited, i didn't have one bad day and i told my family and friends how nice my room was how the whole staff was always asking me if i needed anything , how great the breakfast was i will plan on staying at the best western again

Very comfortable bed everyone got a good nights sleep. Very friendly staff nice looking inside and outside. Would highly refer to anyone to stay there. Close to most everything you would like to do. Casinos only about 30 minutes away

Everything worked as expected, from the front desk, to the room, breakfast- everything. A solid 10 for the price. Recommend the first floor, either wing, as there is no elevator. Great park like setting, quiet, easy access from a major highway - can't say enough - a gem in the rough.

We have stayed here before and will do so again. We were a little disappointed that the pool and hot tub were not open. The breakfast lady was especially cheerful and helpful for the first thing in the morning!

Needs updating, but you can't beat the price. Clean, great staff, Country location yet close to town. Pool and Hot tub were closed for renovations but I'm sure I'll be back when they are open to check them out!

Clean, comfortable rooms; fine variety of breakfast items; pool; fitness room; and caring staff all make for West Greenwich's best --Best Western Hotel. Conveniently located off of I95, the hotel is our favorite place to stay when visiting family in Rhode Island and Connecticut.

Great hotel! No frills but very clean with a good price and location. Whenever I have friends coming to visit I have no regrets booking rooms at this hotel. Because it is near my home it also makes for a nice get away.

I like to stay here every year when I have a conference in Providence RI. Its close enough to drive and keeps you out of the city. Food places are close by. Quiet area, cute hotel, could use a few upgrades but other wise, a nice place to stay.

My husband, son and I stayed here last weekend. The desk clerks are awesome, especially Keri, and Marie who handles breakfast is awesome! The breakfast was great, the room was clean and comfortable, and the pool looked great. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the pool but we will next time as we're definitely going to stay here again!

I booked the wrong arrival and when I went to check in and realized my mistake, the representative was most helpful in locating another property for us to stay for the night. We were welcomed back the following night and stayed on the first floor with nice accommodations. The only disappointment was the tiling in the bathroom tub area did have mildew in the grout and it appeared that there was some repairs were made. The breakfast was nice with waffles. The price was right and a great value. I'd stay there again when back in the area.

I would recommend this Hotel to any traveler(s) looking for good value. It is an older Hotel. You are not going to see new carpets or furniture. You will see decent clean rooms with a decent pool and Jacuzzi area. If you are looking for immaculate rooms be prepared to pay $150 a night. If you are looking for a decent room be prepared to pay $70 a night and get a good nights sleep at this Hotel.

Nice secret hotel tucked away in Rhode Island. Such good value for money as an overnight or for a few days. Lots to see around the area. I will stay here again if I pass this way. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I was there for 1 week and was unhappy unless I was at breakfast or near the pool as this location is very dull and not exciting ! the pool was an olympic size pool that was just the right temp every time I got in it. Then I would jump in the hot tub and relax then jump back to the pool and repeat 4-7 times through the day.

Every April, we pack the kids up and head to this Best Western to best the winter blues by swimming in the pool and enjoying the hot tub. The staff is always pleasant, the rooms are always clean and the breakfast is fantastic! Looking forward to next April's trip!

The staff and size of this property made it a pleasant place to stay. The breakfast room was busy on the morning we ate there, so that made it a bit uncomfortable. That said, it was a good value, as usual, and we were happy we stayed there for 1 night.

The Best Western was a great value--Nice,spacious rooms that were very clean. The staff was quite helpful. The location was close to all amenities. The price also included breakfast in which there was a good selection of breakfast items. We would definitely go back again!!!.

We had some issues upon check-in, where the clerk assumed we were another party that had requested a first floor room. The price was double what I had secured online and at first she was not very responsive, but then came around and fixed the problem. The room was clean. We had to request a fillup for our body wash which was empty when we checked in. And the key cards kept losing their signal so we'd have to bother a maid or go get a new one at the desk. No major problems though. We really enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and the full breakfast. Beds were super comfy, too.

Arrived after sight seeing all day to find the pull out couch was not made up! Jacuzzi not working and pool was cold. The floor was slippery in pool area causing our family to slip and fall on the hard tile deck! Staff was friendly when you could find them. Hotel needs updating. Dresser drawer fell apart when we opened it. Rooms weren't as clean as I expect from a hotel. Hot breakfast food was lukewarm and eggs appeared to be powdered.

The front desk staff were very friendly. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. it was in a nice area and i would stay here again. free map at the desk was very helpful as we were traveling to points in RI

This is a great hotel for the money, it has a lovely pool and a free breakfast which included scrambled eggs and hash brown. The staff were lovely and the room was clean. Couldn't ask for more really on a stay over whilst passing through. Close to a garage to buy some supplies of needed, easy to find and loads of parking.

Stayed here two weekends in a row ( both Saturday nights ). Both times I ASKED for the top ( 2nd ) floor. Both times I was told " 2nd floor is sold out ". At the 3 pm check in time? Cmon. Both times Godzilla ( or similar ) was right on top of us, dancing up a storm during the night. Free breakfast was blah, customer service was horrible ( except the manager the second time ). Would I stray again? Let me see.....

Nothing remarkable about the place, which is right off I-95 but manages to be quiet, in the woods and very dark at night. Not a place worth seeking out, but you can certainly do worse, especially if you manage to get a good deal on the price.
