Overall this hotel was pretty good! First the rooms is clean bed is comfortable and clean! Shower has great water pressure! The breakfast has pretty good selection. Bacon, sausage, egg , potatoes bread and package danish.

The hotel was excellent, it was a nice quite stay. The breakfast was great. The location of hotel was perfect right next to freeway. The staff accommodated my needs of extra pillows and blankets. I just wish they had microwave in room.

In my opinion the location and price comes first and this hotel satisfied those. Next comes cleanliness and quietness. The bathroom, bed, floor, etc are clean and no smell. The freeway noise is negligible and it is only about 200 feet away and my room is in the first floor.

This was my second time here. I like to stay here while visiting family. The location is convenient. The rooms are clean. The breakfast has hot food. The dining room is clean. The lounge is nice with 24 hour tea, coffee, and coco. I appreciate water bottle filling station too. Staff is friendly as well.

Always very happy with the service that I get with the staff making a reservation or checking in and always looking for a relaxing stay and the restaurants near by is a very good spot to go to have a couple of drinks

Breakfast was horrible, even though I didn't have high expectations I still expected to have a few more choices and edible options. Guests smoking weed both inside and right outside the front door. Towels not available to use pool side leaving us to use room towels.

The room was very nice ,roomy and very clean! Very close off freeways, restaurants and stores! Staff was courteous. Too bad guests weren't honest, hubby left his cell phone in the lobby bathroom but was never turned in. Had to suspend his line. But thank god T-Mobile was down the street. I will definitely stay here again! Didn't get to use the pool it was too cold. Jacuzzi was not working. But other than that it was a great stay!

Super clean room and the most comfortable bed and pillows! Friendly and welcoming staff. Parking lot was very brightly lit I felt safe walking out there at night. Highly recommend staying at the West Covina Best Western great experience!

The staff was really lovely, and the rooms were clean and big. However, the Wi-Fi didn't work, the water wasn't hot enough to take a bath, the hot tub didn't work, and even if it did, the pool and hot tub are literally next to the highway and very uninviting. Finally, I know it's a free breakfast, but something healthy and unprocessed would have been nice. There were no fruit or vegetables, and the eggs didn't taste very real. The lobby was nice. I was paying twice as much as usual because of graduation, so maybe if I had paid half as much I wouldn't have cared.

Husband and I enjoyed our stay and our room was exceptionally clean. Your staff was courteous and helpful. Bed was comfortable and the sheets had a great fresh and clean feel. We loved all the space we had in our room. Loved extra furniture (comfy chair).

When we checked in the room looked fine. We then left to visit with family and came back later there were ants covering the beds bathroom floor and all of our stuff. We were given a second room which also had ants on the wall by the table and on the bathroom floor and by the closet. We were given a third room and it seemed to be ant free. During the room shuffle my sons shoes were lost. We were able to search the 2 previous room s the next day but they were gone and never found and returned. On the second night we found ants in the bathroom but that might have been from our stuff that was swarmed. We decided to check out a day early and was assured that we weren't going to be charged foe the night we weren't staying. I checked the bill and we were charged for that extra night. When I called to rectify the situation I had to call back multiple times to get any info after being told I would get a call back. We were refunded for the night we didn't stay in a timely manner, which was nice after a very frustrating stay.

Front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Check out was smooth. Room was clean and fresh. Very comfortable stay and I would definitely stay here again. Convenient location with lots of different food and stores around!

Room is clean, front desk and people from housekeeping are really nice. One downside is that the hotel is located next to a freeway which is noisy. But this review is for the manager and the manager only. I stayed in this hotel with my dog which is an ESA for 3 nights. Upon check in, I was told that they are not pet friendly, I showed them my ESA card and they let us stay after I paid a 150 deposit. They said they will return it to me if there is no damage upon check-out. I called them 3 days after check-out because I never got the deposit back. The manager called me back saying they have to close the room for 3 days to clean the room because there were dog hair. I got a medium size Corgi, he is only 30#. It's an exaggeration to say they used 3 days to clean it. And I don't see how dog hair can be considered a damage. If they charged me a pet fee up front then and there, fine. But a damage deposit is not a cleaning fee. The money is not the main reason I am writing the review. During the entire conversation, Martin was not professional at all. He kept cutting me off and told me to “listen” even I was patiently listening. When I tried to ask for proof of them cleaning the room for 3 days, he said “this is a complete waste of my time to explain things to you”. I even have to tell him to calm down during our conversation. What I don't understand is, I remained my calm and was just looking for an answer. But him on the other hand was not professional at all. For Christ sake, I even made the bed and took out the trash before I left. Now I just wanted to know, with all the people out there, how did this guy become a manager?? I was going through the reviews in google, it seems I am not the only one that was bullied into losing a deposit by the same manager.

I've stayed at quite a few hotels in this past year, and this has got to be my favorite one. It's clean, has nice amenities, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast had a nice selection and was really good. The location is convenient.

Stayed here for 1 night in September, the hotel is located near a busy freeway but has ample parking. The lobby is large and open and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. There is a free 24hr water machine and coffee facilities in the lobby which is well needed after a long drive or before setting off on a journey, there is also computers and printers to use. The lift and corridors in the hotel show its age and feel a little dated – the room also has the same age feeling but was large and clean with a King size bed that was super comfortable. The room had a fridge and coffee making facilities and a desk, but sadly no safe. The room was large, comfortable and we had ample space – the bathroom was nothing special but was importantly clean. The hotel itself was quiet, we observed no noise during our stay – the hotel is also situated next to many shops and restaurants. We attempted to use the pool but as this was outside and right next to the freeway, the noise of the busy traffic next to the pool area made us not really want to, so we avoided this – there was also a hot tub which was sadly cold. The next morning, we had the free breakfast in the hotel, there was a lot of choice on offer – including a yogurt machine, breads, waffle maker and hot/cold buffet. The hot buffet was limited, but tasty – the room had a big TV showing the news which made the ambiance good. Best Western – please stop using plastic cups/forks/knives!!! Overall, this hotel was pleasant and provided us with a comfortable night's sleep and basic breakfast the next morning. We wouldn't return sadly due to the pool and hot tub not being very good, as we do love to use pool and spa facilities when we're on vacation.

The hot water was turned off from 9 am to 7 pm on 2 separate days. My room had ants and I told the front desk upon check out and the guy didn't even respond and just kept asking questions about checking out.

Superb customer service from front desk checking in. Always a nice greeting arriving to this location. Great room and amenities. Requested additional towels and received promptly. Price for room is affordable.

Excellent customer service, front desk staff friendly, Staff in the breakfast area kept the area & tables cleaned and the breakfast items stocked. Housekeeping did a superior job maintaining rooms cleaned and friendly.

So let's start with the good stuff. First the room was quite clean, there was cold AC and the shower had solid water pressure. And most importantly, the bed was comfy and I got a good night's sleep. Also they have those Torani syrups in the breakfast room and those make a tasty coffee. It's a nice addition. Now let's talk about the BAD stuff. Given that I was there for my job and I needed to hop on a Zoom for work, I DID need the internet to work. And it did not. Not in any modern sense of the word. I ran multiple speed tests. And my room was at no more than 2MBPS download and 1 to 2MBPS upload. One time it showed ZERO upload. On my phone. On my laptop. On my tablet. Nothing was working well enough to keep me from being that guy in the meeting 40 seconds out of sync from everyone else. So I went down to the lobby. I got to 7 mps download there (though that wasn't going to work for doing a private zoom meeting) but it was still under 2MBPS. To the credit of the very friendly night staff they tried to find me a room with an ethernet port. But apparently their ethernet port/plug options are locked into the wall so you can't go around them and...they don't work. So I called their tech team. What they told me? The internet speed is locked to go no more than 5MBPS. And that's shared. I asked what that meant. He said it meant it was 5MBPS for the WHOLE floor. I had a four night stay planned. I checked out in the morning and went next door to the Holiday Inn where it was minimum of 50MBPS download and 30MBPS upload in every test I ran. That's what business requires these days. The internet was so slow I had to wait to go to the new hotel to just post this review. Because Tripadvisor wouldn't load on my computer there. Were there other problems? Yes. The pool seems to be indefinitely closed. You need to get a separate key to use the gym and then none of the machines seem to be working. All in, this hotel has potential. But until it gets some of the basics right, it doesn't matter how nice the staff is, it's just a tough place to be for more than a night.

I stayed here 7/10-7/11 for buisness. I experienced roaches in my room and dirty items left over from person before me. I wouldn't recommend because either value for room doesn't match the cleanliness

The is everything we expected for the description and very practical for visiting in the West Covina area. Good breakfast and smooth check in. Good size of the room and the cleaning standards were fine. Close to the big Eastland mall area made it east to good shopping

I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel and my room. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and efficient. Parking lots were also very well maintained. You may see a cat or two, adds to the charm. Even though freeway runs nearby, it's not too loud. I was still able to sleep.

The hotel was nicely remodeled and is very clean and everyone was very polite, helpful and professional. From my check-in to check-out and everything in between! I will be staying here again next time I'm in town!

Hotel is well located ini West Covina, Room clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was surprisingly better than average, with lots of space, good food selection, real eggs in the scrambled eggs, and thoughtful staff.

I've stayed at many Best Westerns over the years and I am a Platinum member. This BW, however, fell short of the standard I've come to except from this brand. The grounds are nice and maintained, however, the spa was not working and this was not relayed to us during check in. The layout of the hallways is a bit confusing as there are multiple branching hallways off the main hallway on each floor. There are two entrances to the hotel interior, the main lobby and a key card locked rear entrance. The rear entrance lock did not work. For the room itself, the layout was standard . It had a standard dresser with a microwave on it and the minifridge is in a separate corner of the room. There is a office desk present as well. The bed is clean, but a bit on the soft side. The bathroom is tiny and the counter space by the sink is also very small. Trying to fit two peoples toiletries and associated makeup on this counter is not possible. The sink stopper handle was partially missing and the sink drained very slowly. The toilet sounds like an airplane taking off when it refills. The A/C has the normal fan noise standard for these units, however, it also has a separate low frequency hum that oscillates in noise level and is very distracting when trying to sleep. The main door to the room doesn't completely close on its own. You have to pull it closed. The breakfast was the typical hot meal one expects from a BW, so that at least was satisfactory. Overall, I would not stay here again. It's not the level of service I expect from a BW when one factors in the price paid nightly.

I/we stay at this hotel whenever I have to come and have medical treatments at City Of Hope. (About a 20 min. drive). We've stayed at this hotel many times in the past 5 years of my treatment. It's always clean and the staff is always friendly and accommodating.

Staff at the front desk was very accommodating. She took my reservation over the phone, met and exceeded the nearby competition. She was able to assign the room number before check in. I thought that was very accommodating and the clients were very pleased.

The hotel we usually stay for a yearly conference in had no availability this time. I had spend quite a bit of time researching and based on criteria important to me decided on Best Western in West Covina. I didn't expect much, and was really impressed with cleanliness, quietness and the friendliness of the staff. I would definitely stay here again especially if all the Covid protocols go away and we'd be able to use the jacuzzi and have a better breakfast.

Staff is always pleasant. Rooms are always clean, comfortable, spacious, and soft comfortable beds. Staff always goes above and beyond to accommodate any special requests or issues I've had (rarely have I had issues). Overall great place to relax comfortably! Definitely recommend.

Great front counter ,speedy need,less paperwork explained where certain place in hotel (fitness, elevator,pool,breakfast room…etc..)every morning breakfast was simple with few choices I eat hearty for another serving. Good way to start your day

I'm so pleased with Best Western I wish I knew earlier how great this place is. Not only is it affordable,but its pleasant and comfortable and I feel great when I'm here. It's a beautiful interior, the parking lot is beautiful with a gorgeous front entry. It's easy to find great parking. The new upgrades inside are so nice. The free breakfast is excellent. The rooms and interior of the hotel are VERY clean . I feel safe in the area and theres plenty of shops close by and freeway access. I really love it.

We really enjoyed our stay here! This part of town was really nice and safe. We were here to attend the Rose Bowl game, about 25 miles west of hotel. The rooms were really comfortable with great beds. There were so many restaurants available at the mall and around town, within 2 miles. We really liked the parking garage. We got great rates 4 weeks in advance. We'll definitely be back next time our team is at the Rose Bowl!

The good- Beds, pillows and sheets were very comfortable. Free breakfast was above average. Room was decent. The bad - Our shower head had a bad leak and didn't work well. The a/c unit was going out and couldn't handle being on high.

I had to attend my mom's funeral and I booked a short stay at the hotel. I had stayed there before and it was a good experience. The room was cleaned every day and the morning breakfast was satisfying. It is not an upscale hotel, but the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the price per night is reasonable. I would recommend the Best Western West Covina for a comfortable stay.

Rooms and bathrooms are clean,and lines and towels are white and clean. This hotel is safe for families, I would feel safe to stay here by myself if I had to. Lobby and pool area are clean and welcoming. I wish they could bring back their breakfast back. The breakfast was good and enough to get you started for the day. If you get a room on the east side (pool side) it gets a little loud with the freeway traffic. Bed was comfortable.

Enjoyable, no frills stay, with no issues. Nothing fancy but still given excellent service. Breakfast much simpler than normal due to Covid. Overall good experience. No complaints. Would stay again if needed if working in the area.

Dated hotel, broken toilet seat, lights would flicker every time the AC kicked in, loud crash bang sounds after 10pm every night, blood-stained sheets, grab & go breakfast was not very good, but the absolute dealbreaker for me was the abysmal wifi speeds, since I was here on business: 2.68 down and 0.30 up.

I had to come for a wedding and was just staying one night. The price was right nd the reviews were good so I booked not expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. While there isn't anything "special" or fancy about this place and the rooms, The hotel was super clean, employees were friendly, and I felt very safe. I called the morning of arrival because I needed to check in early and check in time was at 4p and the wedding was at 4p. A very nice guy told me not to worry about it, to call about 30 minutes from arrival and they would have my room ready and they did! Would stay here again and would definitely recommend!

Great staff, comfortable rooms, always clean and always accommodating. The staff here truly cares about your comfort. Never had an issue that they didn't resolve with the quickness and your overall satisfaction in mind.

I've stayed in nicer Best Westerns. Room was not completely clean. Staff was rude. Beads were hard as a rock. No breakfast due to Covid but this wasn't the hotel's fault. It was just okay. I probably wouldn't go back to this one. Not awful if you need a room in a pinch.

We stayed at this property for 3 nights during 4th of July weekend, flying in from Hawaii to attend funeral for my wife's close relative. This property although somewhat conveniently located near the freeway and close to stores and places to eat lacked in both customer service and room cleanliness. 1. Upon arrival on Saturday the 4th at midnight, we encountered the parking lot full of young people carrying and drinking openly liquor and beer bottles, even entering and exiting the lobby. Rough estimate was about 15-18 people everywhere. They were loud and rowdy. I never saw any security monitoring the area to maintain safety. First impression was that it was a party hotel and not a pleasant BW hotel that we expected it to be, but then again it was 4th of July. We tried to overlook this. 2. Checked in with overnight clerk "Raf", upon registering for the room I clearly requested that he add my wife's name to the Front Office system because her family members may be wanting to contact her and as per most hotel policies one must provide a last name to have a call transferred . I wrote my wife's name on the reg card so that the clerk can spell it correctly. So happens, that he never entered it in the system. There were relatives that for the following day Sunday were trying to call my wife and were told that no one by her name was registered. Our visit was for a death in her family and these calls were important. The following night I approached another overnight clerk, and I told him that my wife was not registered in the system. The clerk pulls out the reg card from the bucket and shows my her name that I had written at check in and says "we have her name". What does that mean? If a call comes in with some one asking for a last name, they are not going to do a bucket check but rely on the computer system to search for a name. 3. Originally booked a Sat/Sun 2 night stay, when trying to extend a 3rd night for Mon, the same clerk tried to have me sign a new reg card that showed a higher rate of 4-5$ more, then tells me that it "generates automatically and reflects the same as the BW website". He was untruthful about that fact. In front of him, I pulled out my phone and showed him my BW Rewards rate which was close or maybe a $1 more than what I was being charged for the previous two days. When I asked him to adjust the rate to match my previous nights, he says that it needed to be approved by a manager. Adjustment of $4 needs a manager approval? Come Monday night and the parking lot was 1/2 empty so for sure the hotel was not even close to selling out for the rate to increase unlike maybe Saturday night 4 of July were it was clearly busy. His demeanor was also uncaring and unhelpful. 4. Bathroom floor around toilet felt sticky upon arrival, not sure if it was cleaning solution or not mopped properly or just urine. Fortunately my wife travels with a mini water heater for her tea that she ended up boiling and pouring over the bathroom floor and cleaning it with a bathroom mat. Toilet flushes very slowly as well. Poor drainage/flush. 5. Finally on Monday morning I called and approached the morning clerk "Ellie?" and requested to speak to a manager. She said that her manager "Maggie" would be coming in at 12:30 pm. I requested to be called. Ellie took my message. I was never called by Maggie. I also informed the morning clerk that I was expecting a couple of UPS parcels to be delivered and to have them call me when it came in ( these were custom made funeral shirts that I had ordered for myself, so they were important). No one ever called me or left me a message. I monitored the UPS website to find out that they were delivered in the evening. 6. At 7am on Tuesday morning I approached another clerk who says he was the overnight clerk, I got one of my parcels and asked to confirm the names of his coworkers, specially who worked the night before and who was relieving him at 8am. He seemed so hesitant to give their names, and even said that he doesn't know it. I asked him " Do you not know the name of your own coworkers?' He replies " well, they change names often." Very bizarre answer so I asked for Maggie's business card since I was told that she was the Manager. The clerk end up giving me a card only for me to find out that it is just a standard hotel one and not Maggie's personal card so that I can contact her. I cannot understand how a hotel Manager or even a Front Office Manager would have no business card. Front Desk service at the worst. Shame on this property for not living up to the Best Western commitment and standards. Thank you.

The breakfast was what I expected and they did not rushed me to check out. I really had a good time and will always choose Best Western Hotels. Room first class and clean. Everything we needed. We wouldn't stay anywhere else, when visiting Family and friends in the area.

This hotel is on "hotel row." It is often the least expensive of those I choose from so when the budget is looking a little tight, I will stay at this hotel. It is certainly very adequate and has only one thing that I really don't like; if you exit out to the pool the door locks behind you and unless they have unlocked the sliding glass door that leads into what used to be the breakfast room, you get to hike all the way around the hotel and enter through the front door. Other than that, I like the hotel.

Best hotel stay ever, clean, safe and excellent service, I recommend this hotel highly, and I will continue to stay at Best Western plus anytime I come into town. I've stayed at other hotels and non compare to Best Western plus

My husband and I have stayed at this location several times over the years. Even though it's right off the freeway, it is quiet. There is plenty of parking, and staff are polite and helpful. The rooms are always kept up and spotless. The breakfast is great, a variety of hot and cold foods, frequently refreshed, and room where it is served kept clean.

We are from Kansas and stayed here in Oct. 2019. We were back Feb. 2020 and knew we wanted to stay here again. It is affordable, clean, great staff, delicious breakfasts, internet, I mean what more could you want? We love it here. We will definitely be back again for the 3rd time soon.

Great service, great rooms, convenient location close to everything from shopping to restaurants. The check in and check out process was easy. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the staff were friendly. The breakfast options were plentiful and fresh. I felt safe and welcomed. I would stay here again.

This property is safe, clean, and in a great location. The beds and room are comfy, clean, and room service was awesome. The friendly staff in the lobby did a great job of making us feel welcome. I would highly recommend.

Check in is always a friendly experience. The beds are very comfortable and nicely made. Rooms are very clean and in inviting. I love staying here! My checkins are always late one due to the fact I arrive after a plane trip but have always been accomadated regardless.

Great location end excellent service, cleanest rooms and great breakfast, Great service. We loved the location. If we had any suggestions, parking could be a bit better. I was staying overnight for a holiday party in the area. I was checked in quickly, provided with a good local taxi and the roomwas nice. The bed especially as I have a herniated disc- very comfortable.

Hotel is easily accessible from the freeway and is close to shopping and restaurants. Overall, it's always very clean. The staff in all areas are very polite and professional and they provide excellent customer service. Breakfast is pretty decent. I do wish they would fix the treadmill though-

We stayed here to get closer to our flight out of Phoenix. This hotel is within walking distance to a Flying J truck stop that has all of your needs. The staff was excellent!! Shout out to Jesus, great attitude! Our room had a double bed with plenty of space. There was nothing special about the room but it seemed clean. The breakfast was beyond excellent, you will not be disappointed.

This is a well placed location. It is not a newer property, but it is comfortable. Better yet, it is EXTREMELY easy to travel to various parts of LA, Orange, Riverside, and SB Counties from this location.

Great hotel with amazing staff, from the front desk to housekeeping were amazing. Our room was perfect, breakfast was amazing, and they accommodated our request to check in early. It took 2 mins to check in. Great place to stay.

Best Western Plus was by surprise the nicest Hotel of all four at the same area. I stood in all four this summer an Best Western Plus has the most professional staff, best Breakfast an I felt safe Great.

Good price, clean and good sized rooms, and decent free breakfast. Would have loved to give more stars but everyone who worked at the front desk lacked friendliness. That's very important to me when traveling and staying at hotels, especially as a member. I checked out on Tuesday morning and stayed at a Holiday Inn close to the airport and right away I was greeted with smiles, helped with bags, upgraded, and treated amazing. The difference in treatment was like night and day. Our stay at the Best Western was fine but I would suggest training your front desk workers to go the extra mile with welcoming guests. The breakfast staff was amazing and way more helpful and friendly.

Our room was clean, nicely furnished and spacious. We got a good night's sleep and would stay here again in the future. We had a good breakfast the next morning and took some coffee to go with us. Nice selection of breakfast items!

We have stayed here before the upgrades. But with the upgrades we thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable bed, the decor, the room amenities and the new style coffee maker. No longer is a decanter needed. just put your paper cup under the basket and fill 'er up. We especially enjoyed the new dining room which is much larger and offers a great variety of breakfast food which is included with your stay. Front desk staff is very helpful and friendly.

I recommend this nice looking property if u need one in the west covina area. Good breakfast, nice rooms, love those pillows too The Morning Manager, Maggie and the evening manager, Martin and very personable and helpful.

We had a great stay at this hotel! We were there for seven days. About an 1.5 - 2 hour drive from LA tourist things (Universal, Seaworld, San Diego Zoo, Hollywood.) But in a great area, right off of the highway, lots of restaurants and stores within a 5 minute drive. Pool was ok, had a lot of bugs floating in the water, Jacuzzi was nice after long days out and lots of walking. The only thing we did not like about the hotel was the pillows. They were the worst! Other than that we would definitely stay here again.

Next to the freeway is a mixed bag. Eady access, close restaurants, but a little noisy especially with construction going on. I had a room in the back away from the construction but still near the freeway. The noise quieted down by about ten pm. The bed was good, good pillows and a large room with a desk area and a fridge. I failed to notice until morning that there was no shower curtain but they had one up for me the next night after I told them. They do have a hot breakfast, different each day which is always nice when you are staying for awhile. While the biscuits are cold and stale the graveyard was great. I enjoyed the corned beef hash even if it was from a can. Staff seemed nice, didn't talk to them much. I would stay again if in the area.

Quiet, very private, lenient to visitors, customer satisfaction-driven, soft beds, very clean room and lobby, amazing staff, nice pool with jacuzzi, and very relaxing lounge music at the lobby. Not much variety of food choices each day but customer service and cleanliness can offset this. I visit Calif 2- 3x a year and BWP is the only hotel for me !!!

This hotel has it all. Great food. Great location. Great Staff. AND it's CLEAN. This trip I used the pool, which was fun, interacting with the other guests. It was big enough not to be all over each other, and the water was deep enough to swim, not just splash around. Breakfast was great. EVERY day. I just need the shower light timer to stay on longer (maybe 15 mins) because getting out the tub to wave to get it to re-activate can be dangerous (slippery) for anyone who has to do it. I ENJOYED MY ENTIRE STAY!

Rarely do you get everything you expect from a hotel. Alot of the time something let's you down price, rooms, facilities etc. Not this Location. Total experience was all you could expect from a Hotel.

We stayed here for one night during a quick trip for a SoCal wedding. We weren't looking for anything fancy, and this place did the job just fine. Simple, clean, friendly staff, and a surprisingly pleasant breakfast! They had a waffle-maker and batter dispenser, eggs, bacon, and your standard cut fruit and pastries. Would stay here again!

We were visiting the area for a local show, just needed somewhere to sleep and get breakfast before heading home -- this room was lovely, spacious, clean, and the breakfast was REALLY great, so many options. Also, we loved the way the breakfast room was laid out, different items in different parts of the room, which keeps guests flowing through better -- also note that there are other rooms nearby where you can settle to eat the breakfast, which helps the whole area seem less crowded overall. Excellent choice if you're in the area!

Easy to locate off the freeway surrounded by wonderful restaurants. Spotless room with a phenomenally comfortable mattress. Room appointments were eell done with a new television and HBO etc. Perfect experience.

Great location. Great staff. Modern and new amenities. The gym is a little small but you can get a pretty good workout if you have the time. The grounds are beautiful. I would recommend this hotel for anyone.

I have stayed here a few times. The quality of service and the clean rooms definitely make me want to come back. The way everything ks set up looks really great. The breakfast is really more than you would think as a complimentary would be.

The remodel was just beautiful and the workers are all so friendly and helpful. No one was kicking us out because breakfast was almost over, in fact we were asked if we needed anything else. Great service, great hotel and great people!

Everything went as expected, and as it should. Smooth check in. Lots of food choices near by, close to shopping. Friendly staff and employees walking around, no shortage. Parking under the hotel offered security for us, outdoor parking is availible as well. Not much moving around room in the parking lot, because of the busy area. Our experience was good.

The BW was s great location just off the I-10. The staff was very friendly and made me feel at home . The breakfast was very delicious with added breakfast burritos, coffee and lemon water / bath towels very soft and new including shower head was wonderful. The room was very clean and the mattress was very comfortable that I slept very well . Usually when I stay at hotels I don't sleep well cause of mattress and hearing water being used from other rooms . It was worth the price per day - delicious food , Great sleep and friendly staff !!!

Fast friendly service, accommodated my request. Very helpful employees with great attitudes. Very thorough at time of check in and even mentioned Best Westerns membership and specials. Very courteous and welcoming. Only downside is no microwave available in all rooms only in a select few. The underground parking is a plus!

This would have been the perfect stay however finding dried blood spots on your sheets that were suppose to be clean is disgusting. Needless to say I was disappointed in discovering this and could only imagine what the mattress must look like... yuck. I suppose its the nature of the beast in staying at a hotel. Other than it was a perfect stay.

I use this hotel regularly for a gathering with a few girlfriends and we always love staying there! The staff especially Maggie and Elizabeth are always so friendly and welcoming. Beds are amazingly comfortable queens! Many hotels only have full sized bed. Breakfast is hot and fresh with plenty of options. Quiet and pleasant place to relax with friends. Kid friendly too.

This Bestwestern was conveniently located next to I10 and near a lot restaurants.Our room was on the side away from the freeway so not noisy if that is a concern.Room was cleaned, staff was welcoming and supportive (early check-in) and breakfast was good.Would definitely stay again if I am in the area.

I've been saying at the Best Western Plus West Covina Inn semi-regularly for the last 8-10 years whenever I go to the Grand National Roadster Show at the LA Fairplex in Pomona.The West Covina Inn is convenient to the show, only about 10 minutes away, with easy access to the freeway.It is also close to many good restaurants, and shopping if required. Frankly, it offers everything I need for my wife and I.

Decided to overnight at the Best Western Plus to break up a long drive in terrible rain, and couldn't have picked a more inviting place. The welcoming atmosphere starts in the spacious, tasteful lobby with fireplace, and extends to the wonderful night receptionist, whose personable demeanor helps shake off the travails of the road. Everything here is more than up to the BW standard, from the incredibly spacious suite rooms complete with kitchenette and amenities, to the extensive hot breakfast, where morning staff are more than happy to assist with the do-it-yourself waffles. Other dining possibilities and extensive shopping are only a short hop away.

The Best Western Plus West Covina Inn will surpass anyone's expectation of what a Best Western is. The hotel is conveniently located off the 10 Freeway in West Covina on Restaurant Row. The hotel rooms are absolutely beautiful, well maintained and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is one of the best out there. What sets this property apart from all over is the hospitality of the staff and management. I have never encountered better service than at the Best Western Plus West Covina Inn. The management must be commended and used to train others in hospitality management!

Overall, this is a friendly, clean, nice hotel. If you really want to watch tv or need the WiFi, though, I would stay elsewhere. The tv reception was truly awful (becoming pixelated with no sound literally every thirty seconds) and I wound up just using my phone without WiFi because the WiFi signal was so weak. It was New Year's Eve and very busy. I asked about the reception and was told we could move to another room and try that. They were nice about it but I don't think there was much to do about it. Like I said, overall clean and nice but if you need tv or WiFi, go elsewhere.

I always have a great experience here. The staff is sweet and helpful. The facilities are safe and quiet. It is also close to several restaurants within walking distance and close to the freeway. The rooms are clean, comfortable and the shower's water pressure is strong & warm water works excellent. Also, the complimentary breakfast was good for me on the run. I stay here all the time and it's priced reasonably!

Hotel is easily accessible, nice amenities. Not as clean as we'd hoped for this time, but previous stays at this property were fine. We will try this hotel one more time before we find another location.

The night receptionist from Spain is super quirky yet very efficent! I talked with him for a long time and I wished he was the receptionist at every place I stayed. The hotel had a beautiful fire place going in the lobby and of course the usual coffee and tea. It is a large place, very grand. I immediately felt at home here. The place is very clean and I thought it was nice they had dispisable shower caps in the room. The decor was appropriate. The walls are a bit thin maybe so you can hear doors clising in the hallway but didn't seem to bother me. The bed was comfortable as well as the pillows. I will return here.

Going every other month or so, we average 7-9 nights a year in this hotel. Wonderful staff. Clean and comfy rooms. The breakfast is included and varies day to day. Some days better then others. Location is convenient, to the 10 freeway. And plenty of restaurants in this area. Some you can easily walk to. Ha ha, this last time we had to laugh, when we saw 2 ants on the floor in the bathroom. It was funny because someone once reviewed that there were ants in their room. And 2 ants way up on the 4th floor just made us laugh. We had been fighting ants at home this week. Anyway we were there for two nights and no more ants were seen.

Checked in late and only 1 person at front desk so check in was slow. One Elevator wasn't working so we had to walk downstairs to garage. Room was clean and nice for the $$. Free breakfast was good. Pool extremely cold but it is November! Jacuzzi was dirty. So we passed. All staff pleasant and professional.

The entrance and lobby are attractive. We were on the fourth floor. Beds are comfy and even have a desk and casual chair in the rooms. Lots of extras (hair dryer, coffee, iron, ironing board etc). The TV in the room was very clear and easy to see and hear. Breakfast was good for a buffet type. Wish the breakfast lasted a little longer.

I was helping my son and his husband move from Austin to Los Angeles, and when I booked the hotel, I did so because it would be a relatively short trip to our final destination. Then my son told me he needed to pick up some furniture he'd ordered from IKEA that required the U-Haul I was driving. Fortuitously, the IKEA was right around the corner from the hotel. I will say that the hotel had adequate parking for me to park the 20-foot truck. The room was what you'd expect, but the exit door at the end of the hall was busted open and had no lock (and apparently hadn't had one for some time). Made me a little concerned about security. Breakfast was OK, but during the night a huge tour bus had arrived and the place was very crowded. That's OK. It just meant that the hotel was popularly priced and met everyone's basic needs. And, hey, there's an IKEA nearby!

We appreciate the room and services during our one night stay at this location. The breakfast was great and the staff who served us during breakfast were friendly and able to assist my two young kids. Our only problem was trying to go to the outdoor pool and then getting locked out and we had to walk all around the exterior of the hotel in order to get back in. There were no towels available at the pool so we decided to go back to our room and not swim.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I basically paid to sleep with ants. My room was full of ants and within no time of being there they were all over my belongings. When I notified front desk I was appalled at the response I got when they said they would spray our room. I had to request to be moved and requested to cancel my stay. Horrible way to handle that situation. Needless to say I was not comfortable as I had small children. I declined and requested to leave instead.

Check in and check out was easy. Coffee and lemon water always available in the lobby. It was quiet, spacious, and clean. The breakfast was excellent. There were many choices for breakfast from eggs, breakfast meats, fresh fruits, danishes, and bagels.

Except for the Lady walking around in High heels on the tile floor above us at 6:30 am both mornings, we had an exceptional stay. The Staff was professional and courteous and the morning breakfast exceeded our expectations.

Both housekeeping and the breakfast staff were friendly and excellent at their jobs. The front desk personnel were efficient kind and handled our issues with diligence and care regardless of the time or how many people were checking in. There are many restaurants surrounding this hotel and safety is assured. Our rooms were very clean as was the lobby with nice cool air during some very hot days. I highly recommend this hotel.

We were there for a big celebration. The parking spaces were in really bad shape but I thought they would still be safe even though cones were in other areas so they knew about the problem. In the morning I put my car in reverse and it lunges just enough to roll down the slope into the cement block. (Earthquakes cause a lot of these problems and should have been fixed) I was told there was work because g do e and the Hotels I s would take care of it. Days later I was basically called a liar and they wouldn't fix the dent. This out a big damper on the occasion but I was assured to not worry about it, then I was told I wasn't telling the truth. There was a witness too, but that didn't matter to them. Horrible Hotel!!!!!

Stepping into the lobby felt like a first-class hotel. Check in staff were very professional and friendly. Full breakfast buffet is excellent. Rooms are decorated very nicely and are comfortable. The quirks? a) A leak developed on our first night from the fire sprinkler in the bathroom (and in the hotel hallway). Staff moved us to another room which was fine for the rest of our stay, even though the hallway still had the "drip bucket" all three days. b) Timed light switches turn off while showering, making it unsafe to get out of shower and turn light back on. c) for an almost first-class hotel, their bath linens feel like sandpaper.

My experience at this location was a very good one. The staff members that I interfaced with were very friendly and accommodating. The hot breakfast offered a wide variety of offerings that more than satisfied my needs. Excellent location. Lots of great restaurants and shopping are just down the street. The West Covina Mall is just down the freeway a couple of miles. Underground parking. Did not use fitness center.

While attending my granddaughter's college graduation we stayed at this hotel. We had excellent service and a clean and organized environment. It's a good choice -- close to restaurants and shopping -- right off the freeway. And they had THE most comfortable mattresses I have EVER slept on!

The West Covina Best Western Plus is a very pleasant, comfortable and reasonably priced place to stay. The rooms are quite comfortable and the complimentary breakfast is excellent. The staff is most pleasant and accommodating. I have stayed there many times and always come back.

We stayed here for a few days. At the time they were redoing the front walkway so it was a little inconvenient to walk around through the garage but the staff was very nice. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast and WiFi were included. Near the highway (freeway) and several restaurants.

Great price, wonderful staff, good breakfast, underground parking, quiet, large room - we were more than pleased with our one night stay. It is also conveniently located to I-10 but far enough away to avoid freeway noise.

We were going to a car show at the Fairplex in Pomona, and checked around for hotel room availability and cost. This hotel had a great rate, and rooms available, and was only a short drive from the Fairplex. The hotel clerks were nice, and the rooms were decent for a Best Western, Only item missing were USB ports in the room. The breakfast was good, and the parking was great. Easy in and out. Much better than I expected. They also had two big groups, and accommodated them well. The hotel is located next to a group of hotels, and those are all located next to an area that had a ton of restaurants like El Torito, Marie Callenders, etc. The restaurants get really busy, especially on a Saturday night. We got take out and came back to the hotel, but there's nowhere to sit and eat in the lobby area, and we asked it they would open the breakfast room so we could sit at a table. They said no, so we just pulled up chairs around the one lobby table and ate there. It didn't look good for them, as people came through the lobby, but that's what we did. Some hotels have their eating rooms open just for that reason. Other that that and the USB ports, the hotel was mostly quiet even though it was right next to the freeway. I'd stay here again. The bed was fine and the shower was good. Sometimes, that's all ya need!

We were a last minute booking on New Years Eve. The desk people were MORE than accommodating, very friendly and kind. The hotel is beautifully done, room was great, service was excellent. The cost was very good for the circumstances. Definitely recommend to anyone going to the area. Perfect for the Rose Parade.

This stay was excellent! I can only say compliments to the staff for taking such good care of us!!! The room was perfect and the location just off Interstate 10 even better. Breakfast was a huge plus for us as we were on the go early. We had other family staying in the area as well and our hotel surpassed anything else I saw.

We stay here every time we visit my son and grandson. Have stayed here for years. One time I couldn't get a room because they were full; had to stay at another hotel on the same street. That was not a good experience; more money and no breakfast included! This Best Western is an excellent value, breakfast is very good with a very good variety, very comfortable beds! Staff is friendly, check in & check out is easy.

Great hotel that is ideal for visitors to the San Gabriel Valley or want to use it as a hub to visit the many attractions of Southern California like Disneyland, etc. Very nice clean and quiet rooms. Very helpful staff. Newly redesigned breakfast area is larger with far more selections.

I asked for a quiet room in the hotel and I was given probably the loudest room I've ever stayed at at any facility. They put me in a room directly over the freeway and when I asked for anything else, I was told it was too much bother to move me. I'm a frequent traveler, especially with this chain and this was one of the worst nights I've ever stated any Hotel.

We checked in late at night and Martin really made our day. So friendly. The hotel is comfortable, a little street noise but not too much. Decent self serve breakfast. A bit dated, but I would stay there again.

Stayed Thanksgiving night at Best Western Plus West Covina Inn. Hotel is easy to get to, right off the freeway. Room was very large and looked newly updated. Hotel wifi worked just fine, no issues. I had a handicapped accessible room (some mobility issues), and appreciated the "no walls" shower. Only thing missing, would have liked a stool in the shower -- just would have been easier for me. Used the free breakfast, and thought it was very good. Room was clean and the attendant keep it that way, which is always appreciated. Only hint I would give to folks would be that if you really, really need a quiet room, request that you are further from the lobby. That way you are away from the freeway noise and also any noise that might come from the pool area, which is at the front of the hotel. Didn't bother me at all -- I was pretty close to the lobby -- but might bother other folks. Would definitely stay here again if I find myself in the area.

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past. It has a great staff, all the amenities one could need, easy access on & off freeways. Plenty of eateries within walking distance and a mall to shop in. The single night rate can't be beat for the area. I recommend this hotel to all who come to the West Covina area.

FANTASTIC WATER PRESSURE and hot, hot water in the shower!!! Also, nice, clean rooms -- nothing to fancy, but I'm not high-maintenance, so plenty fine for me. Quiet in the halls at night, and FREE BREAKFAST! That's a win in my book!

We come to Covina every year for a family reunion. This was our second stay at this hotel. I had to book online in order to get a lower rate, saved me almost $200 by doing that. I'm not sure why they couldn't match the online price but no big deal. Everything was great. The location is convenient, close to the freeway, shopping and lots of restaurants. The new remolded room is clean and spacious. Front-desk is very friendly, especially Martin. Breakfast buffet was better than most other hotels. We will stay there next year too. Recommended!

Came down from Washington for a funeral. the staff was great in getting me the best rates , the rooms were clean and fresh, and it was a very good value . I would not hesitate to use this facility again in the future !

Very pleased with our stay. We had not expected the motel to be as nice as it is. Nice surprise. It was renovated about 6 months ago and they did a very good job. It was very comfortable and the staff was very nice.

I was able to book a room at the last minute (after I arrived at Ontario airport). Staff was very helpful. Room was very clean, very spacious and comfortable. I had trouble opening the room door (latch was stuck), but the hotel staff quickly worked the door so I could enter the room.

I found hotel with good services and neat & clean but there were no eating places in surrounding area and also there is no offered service of Food inside hotel. But overall experience is nice and I would like to come again.

The desk staff were quite helpful in directing me to a Denny's so I could obtain some food to take to my room after 9 pm. and in walking me to the door to point out directions. I picked BW because I wanted a bathtub and breakfast. The bathroom was ok, the shower pressure was great, but the bathtub didn't have a provision for a plug to work. There simply wasn't one as part of the hardware. Breakfast was mediocre for a BW. The corned beef hash looked like the can I buy at home, but they didn't really cook it (soggy, not crispy). Eggs were scrambled or a breakfast buritto. Compared to ones I have stayed at in the midwest, this breakfast was disappointing. My general feeling was that the hotel was still being built or remodeled? It was clean and neat, but things were unfinished. The fridge in my room had someone's leftovers in it. The room looked clean, but the fridge made me wonder. At the price in that area of the country that I had through hotels.com I would stay again. I would choose somewhere else if paying their regularly listed full price.

I stay at this property almost exclusively when I go to West Covina for business. It is comfortable, breakfast is good with a variety of offerings and I especially like "Martin" although I don't get to see him too often.

The hotel is newly remodeled, high ceiling and confortable lobby. It provides good breakfast, quiet room, good internet signal, and most of all, very good location, easy to access highway 10, just block away to entrance of highway.

We stayed only one night but it was very clean and nicely updated. The breakfast was well stocked and the staff was pleasant and helpful. The most pleasant surprise for us was how comfortable the bed was. It was not too firm but supportive. We slept well and could not hear traffic noises even though the hotel was next to the freeway.

We stayed at this hotel to be near family living in the area. The hotel was very comfortable. The room was spotless and the bed and bedding really comfortable. We were on the freeway side of the hotel but it was surprisingly quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask for more. We will stay there again next year.

We came into town for a family get together and stayed at this hotel. The 10 Freeway is close by for easy access, and there are a few major restaurants nearby. Getting an upgrade to a King bed from a Queen bed was a nice surprise. This property is larger than most BW properties, very clean, very friendly front desk personnel, plenty of parking, and coffee maker and refrigerator. It would have been nice to have a microwave but at least we had a fridge for our bottled water. My only negative issue was entering my room and the A/C was off, and the temperature outside was over 100 degrees and humid. But, I was able to take a nap to relax from the drive and allow the room to cool off. We had a good night's sleep, very quiet, no hallway noise from other guests. I would recommend this property if you are in the Covina/Baldwin Park area.

It's a nice decent hotel with quiet surrounding but far away from the city so we had to travel for around 1 to 1.5hrs to get to area like Beverly hills or Hollywood or universal studio.walmart and Ikea in its vicinity though,rooms are nice n clean and breakfast also good

The hotel was very clean before but this remodel has really added a lot to your hotel. Everyone is really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is awesome! I thought someone had to be in the back cooking this food because it tasted homemade. I will definitely use your hotel every time we have family or friends in town visiting.

This hotel averages with others in the area, polite staff, clean room, average basics, but no microwave in room as several others do, and priced about the same. I would choose the hotel next door just for the microwave if the price was the same, so price would have to be quite a bit cheaper for me to go back to this one...

Great Hotel with reasonable price. I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it is my last stop for my summer vacation in USA. I am impressed about the size of the room. Huge room with bar and microwave oven. With 2 tables, I could work while my wife eating and taking care kids. The hotel is very clean, and they offer coffee and drinks free in the lobby, Free parking and breakfast. Location is also very nice. It should be the 2nd best Best Western I stayed in Californian. Best in LA.

The hotel is currently under renovation which is evident all throughout the building. The water pressure was pathetic - the water dripped down the wall into the tub. The rooms were standard but a little lower than what I expected from a BW plus. The breakfast, however, was fantastic with a wide range of choices and a large seating area.

B W is a great place to stay and relax, the staff is wonderful, the breakfast are great the rooms and hotel are very clean, the hotel lobby and the always hot coffee in the lobby super great, the staff are friendly and make you feel at home and wanting to come back again

This is the 4th or 5th stay at this BW Plus and we are never disappointed. The hotel has just finished a complete renovation and everything is clean and fresh. The beds are so very comfortable I wish I could take one home with me. The staff is outstanding and accommodating. Breakfast is in a big new clean dining room and has lots of selections including of course their signature do it yourself waffles. The hotel always has coffee, tea and cookies available. Even though this hotel is next to the I-10 freeway we've never heard any car noise during any of our stays.

Staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean with updated carpets. Bathrooms have been remodeled with tile flooring and enclosures. Beds very comfortable. Free breakfast sufficient for hotel offering. Restaurants and shopping nearby. Interstate construction caused a few detours but well marked.

The hotel has a good location and fine staff. The room is nice & the breakfast is good to start the day. Overall a good stay. When I checked in the individual told me that the prior occupant to the room had smoked & he was going to credit me $100 which I signed a document related to this. I thought that was very generous. When I reviewed my credit card, there was a $100 charge! Five call later I was informed that the $100 charge would be refunded as I had not smoked in the room. I travel frequently and I have not experienced anything like this. It all seemed quiet odd, so pay attention when you check in or you too may be surprised.

Even though the hotel in currently under renovations it is still great. Their beds are amazingly comfortable and the staff was very helpful at all times. I enjoyed their breakfast a lot, the waffles were my favorite.

We were delighted with our stay at this hotel! We look for a good sleep and a nice and rather substantial breakfast, especially some protein. We have found Best Western Hotels reliable, in general, for our priorities. Best Western West Covina did not disappoint. We were in the area for a family get together. We started our festivities each morning at breakfast together, 11 of us in 5 rooms. Hotel service was excellent, breakfast food choices were varied and met our needs nicely. We enjoyed being able to use the parking garage so our car could be a bit cooler than sitting in the sun would allow. Loved it!

This hotel is currently under construction, but I enjoyed my visit. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were clean. The staff is friendly, the rooms are spacious and the breakfast was great. They offer water, coffee and tea at all times which is great when you.re traveling.

Best Western was a nice stay for us. The breakfast was great, both hot and cold options. Front service staff was friendly upon checking in. Location and neighborhood was safe and well lit. The location of the hotel was also very close to several restaurants, Walmart, and other local shops.

This was one of the BW hotels I have ever stayed. The lobby and room quality were both excellent. We didn't have much time at the hotel during our stay since we arrived so late (1am in the morning), but the staff was very courteous and efficient. They checked us in quickly and provided directions to the under ground parking close the elevator. The double queen room was great - comfortable beds, great water pressure for the shower and overall cleanliness was excellent. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. And the rate was better than other BWs and hotels in the general area.

The hotel was very accommodating, the service was excellent, the food during breakfast was great & the choices were also excellent. They seemed to be very willing to help and eager to please. Their customer service is the best!

This hotel is spacious and there is no doubt about it. Breakfast it average. Plenty of parking space. Room also is spacious. After flushing toilet was making lot of noise which was irritating. I could easily say that this hotel is old and has been renovated. Construction was going on in the front.

Although, the beds were amazingly comfortable - the AC didn't work too well - it felt a bit humid or the weather impacts their AC units. The water pressure for the showers were decent but when we left an item in the room, we couldn't get a callback from housekeeping. A bit frustrating and disappointing but the stay was good.

Overall great expiernce here!! Pleasant, clean and friendly staff. I would definitely reccommend this hotel to all of my family members and family. When I come back for vacation I will definitely be staying here again!

The room is big enough for family with 2 adults and 2 kids. There are plenty of free underground parking lots. Also, the location is great! Shopping malls and restaurants are just right next to it. We took around 35 mins drive to attractions like Disneyland or the Staples Center. We didn't hear the freeway noise when the air-con/heater was on. It may be the best value hotel in the Los Angeles area.

We normally stay at the nearby Hampton Inn when visiting the area, but the price of a room there this trip bordered on the insane. We checked the cost at this Best Western and decided to stay here and discovered that it is every bit as nice as the Hampton Inn and much more reasonable. We have found a new hotel for our visits to the area--Best Western Plus.

My wife and I and another couple stayed the weekend here. Great choice! Super friendly staff, immaculate rooms, great breakfast! This a wonderful hotel. We stayed at Ceasars Palace the night before and this hotel was just as clean. You can't miss with this one!

Raining and heavy traffic and decided to spend the night. Called the 800 number and in minutes were directed to a Best Western 8 miles from our location, Great motel and accommodations at a great price for a weekend Saturday night....:)!

Good location with plenty of restaurants near by. Easy freeway access. I not use to the traffic in Southern California but this location had great access to side roads to get me where I needed be in either direction.

We enjoyed this location and our stay very much. My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks prior to my hospital admittance for transplant at City of Hope. We had a lovely, clean, spacious and recently remodeled room on the first floor. They have an extensive morning breakfast with several hot dishes, plus self serve fresh waffles as well as various pastries, breads, cereals, etc. Juices, coffees and teas. In the afternoon they always have coffee/tea and fresh cookies available. Most of all I can't express the genuine sincerity and helpfulness of the guest staff and manager. We made several new friends with the staff during our stay and even kept in touch with some of them from the hospital. I just booked another week there for our family of four coming from Hawaii to visit me at the hospital, I'm sure they will enjoy the hotel and staff as much as we did. This hotel is nicely located in proximity to many restaurants and several malls. There's a large movie (17 plex) complex just a few miles away.

We mostly stay at BW, this is one of the only ones without in room microwave. Very annoying when you have to go down stairs for that! We have stayed here before and they are upgrading rooms, so its not bad. our room smelled a bit musty, could be due to all the rain lately.

We stay in this hotel often. Great service. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. Comfortable beds in most of the rooms. Undergoing remodeling and enlarging the dining room. Breakfast is NOT the greatest, but it's included. They should look into what some other Best Westerns offer for breakfast. But theirs is good enough I guess.

My family and I were traveling for medical testing in LA. We needed a comfortable, reasonably priced hotel to stay in. The previous night we stayed at a 4 star hotel that cost $120 bucks and an additional $40 bucks for parking one night. Thank goodness we came across Best Western in West Covina. The room was comfortable and clean. They didn't nickel and dime you for parking or internet. I would definitely stay again.

We have been staying at this facility for the past four visits to Southern California. The hotel staff is always accommodating. When we arrive prior to check in the front desk finds us a room that is available. The breakfast has a great assortment of items from warm sausages, eggs and hash browns to cereal to waffles to danishes. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It has a very well welcoming atmosphere.

We chose this room based on rate and a good location for family we went to visit. When we checked in, we were given an already occupied room. We went back to the desk and the clerk seemed to struggle for a solution. Fortunately, there was a manager there who straightened it out. The vending machine was out of order and another clerk didn't know what to do. He was refunding peoples money from is own pocket. A customer put up an out of order sign, which he said he was "not allowed to leave his post" to do. It's a nice place, they just need to have employees trained to deal with customers when problems occur.

We were in town for a short visit. While the hotel is in the process of renovating you would never know it aside from some equipment on the side of the lobby. The room was very clean and large. Bed was comfortable Location is perfect close to highway, lots of food options. Breakfast included was plenty. Staff was friendly. We arrived very late due to flight delays and the front desk checked us in very rapidly

If you're looking for a place to say this is it. The rooms are large. It has enough space for at least two people. I stayed in the one person room which came with an adjacent kitchen. Cleanliness of the room is awesome everything work I had a very comfortable stay the staff is very friendly and is also located just a short walk down from great place to eat

This hotel serves the cheapest substandard 'complimentary' breakfast of any Best western I have ever gone too. the price for the room is a rip-off for the level of amenities offered. The only positive thing I have to say is that the staff is exemplary!!

The staff was terrific from the front desk to the cleaning staff. Never met maintenance staff as the were supposed to come to the room in the morning to check the security lock on my door. It was not working at all and it may have been the reason my door would not open on 3 different occasions when I returned to my room causing me to require help from the front desk staff to enter my room.

First of all Elizabeth was very helpful to meet my companies fax payment methods and made it as easy as possible. With all the construction from the Freeway to the Lobby I was not bothered by any noise or inconvenienced at all. The location was great with the LA Fitness, varies restaurants and driving distance to a theater and mall.

I have never had a bad experience with a Best Western hotel, whether it is the regular one, the Plus, or the Premier, and this West Covina location was no different. Despite the fact that some lobby renovation was going on, the dust and noise were minimal. The staff are always friendly and helpful. This is also the reason why I decided to get a Best Western Rewards card among all the other hotel chains that are available.

The room was huge compare to others I have been in. Will definitely be staying there during my stays in West Covina. Check out was quick and she even signed me up for the rewards program. Continental breakfast was a plus!

Even in the middle of remodeling this was a great place to stay. Our room was large and pleasant and had the quietest air conditioner ever. Easy on and off the freeway and close to where we were visiting.

I had reserved a room for two nights but because of a family problem, I had to cancel the second night. The room was pretty basic. I had a hard time finding an outlet to plug in my phone charger. Since I had to change my plans, I didn't go to breakfast. They were doing some remodeling and the hallway was a little spooky.. The staff at the front dest were extremely helpful when I cancelled my second night. There are several restaurants and some shopping close to the hotel. Access to the freeway is very easy..

I visited West Covina for a family event and all of my family stayed there for a couple of nights (4 rooms). When we booked we mentioned that we were traveling with our child, but still it booked a single bed room. The staff did not express any desire to even try to accommodate my needs. When I asked if they had any extra pillows (so that I can try and sleep somewhat comfortable in the floor)....they told me "where sold out.....so we don't have extra pillows."

Staff is friendly and makes you feel welcomed, but from the improperly installed shower head that squirted over the curtain to create a lake in the middle of the bathroom to the unusable pool/spa, the amenities need a bit of work.. (breakfast was very good though)

We stayed for 2 nights during our US trip. This hotel is a basic one with average breakfast, decent rooms, well maintained and I would say value for money for their pricing. Ok for a small business trips or overnight halts. We were out most of the time to Santa Monica and Universal so not a bad choice for overnight stays. Location is not close to any of the LA sites.

I honestly can say that I haven't slept that well in a long time. I suffer from severe insomnia. The matress and pillows were divine. My husband and I have been talking about seeing if we could buy some "Best Western" pillows.

Review of Best Western Plus West Covina Inn 3275 E Garvey Ave N, West Covina, CA 91791 Rajesh Pasari ? I had a terrible and horrid experience at the hotel when I visited them from 27 to 29 May 2016. The staff is rude and unfriendly. The Hotel has no CCTC cameras. My wife's sling consisting of 4 passports of my family, USD 2000 and a brand new cell phone was stolen from the room on 29th May 2016. The manager of the hotel was not there and on leave. The 2 front desk officials refused to help. They did not pay any heed to our request of searching the housekeeping staff. On our request for searching through CCTV, they mentioned that they don't have any in their hotel. We went through hell after this incident. Our stay in US had to be extended, my family passed through a terrible time an we had to pay through our nose to come back to India. The Hotel authorities were least bothered and their response was "you manage your own belongings". I am sure some housekeeping staff would have stolen the valuables and passport. I am not going to leave it here. I will get in touch with all the social media avenues and also get in touch with the CEO of Best Western group. Advise caution to people who stay in this hotel.

Reasonable price for a mid range hotel. I was not completely satisfied on this visit since they were undergoing some renovations and put me in a room right in the middle of the construction zone. I left my room one day to a hallway filled with noise, dust, tarps and tools. While I am usually happy with Best Western Hotels, this time could have been better.

Good place to stay. There are plenty of restaurants to satisfy any budget or type of taste. Also, excellent access to freeways. Breakfast room has anything a person would want to start their day. The place is kept in tip top shape.

My wife booked the room for two nights a month in advance, she called the hotel the morning we were going to check in and they said we can check in any time. Since we had a two hour drive we arrived around 3:30 pm the front desk clerk said our room wouldn't be ready for another 30 minuets. We went to a local restaurant and got a bite to eat to kill some time. we arrived back at the hotel around 4:30. They gave us our room only to find maintenance working on the bathroom plumbing? I had asked for a quite room away from the street they gave us a room next to one that was under construction so the whole damn day Saturday as we tried to sleep all we could hear were power tools and hammering. After I complained they said they would give us a 15% discount which still hasn't happened. I've tried calling the manager and he has yet to call me back? I work in the hospitality industry and I can tell you they have no common courtesy! I'll never stay there again!!

I was the worst hotel stay I had ever experienced. It was supposed to be a non-smoking hotel. However, when I checked in, I found out that I got a room filled with strong smell of cigarettes. The hotel staff told me that they were sold out and couldn't change the room for me. I checked in at 11PM, so if the previously guest smoked in that room, they had all afternoon and the evening to clear the air of that room. Instead, the hotel staff told me that they had no idea before I arrived that that room was filled with smell of cigarettes. That tells how sloppy the rooms have been managed. So I ended up inhaling the toxic air all night, didn't get much sleep, and next morning woke up with a sore throat. What a nightmare!!!!

Pleasant hotel with large rooms and convenient location. No restaurant or bar but others nearby. Clean, well appointed. No meeting facilities but used breakfast room for informal meetings. Staff is friendly and accomodating.

This is supposed to be a non-smoking hotel. However, I ended up spending a night in a room of this hotel filled with strong smell of cigarettes. The hotel staff told me that they were sold out, so they couldn't move me to another room. Didn't get much sleep because the toxic smell was so strong, and then i woke up in the morning with a sore throat. My worst hotel stay ever!!! I talked to the front desk the next morning; the staff told me that she only had the authority to apply 10% discount on my hotel rate. So it was about $12 to compensate a whole inhaling of toxic air????

The refrigerator was next to the bed, so I could only get out of bed on one side There was no microwave to reheat our food THE NOISE FROM THE BATHROOMs NEXT TO US & ABOVE US WAS EXTREMELY LOUD AND INTERRUPTED MY SLEEP! I was not given a receipt when I checked out, nor was I asked if I wanted one! The Lobby internet is slow.... Windows 98 OS is obsolete!

We stayed after a long day and night at a family wedding. We were exhausted but, check in was simple. The Front Desk was welcoming and professional. Room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, made for a great nights sleep.

Spent a couple nights here, to attend "The Renaissance Faire" very close by in Irwindale Great location, right off freeway a short distance. Amble parking and nice staff. I remembered I left a blouse behind, 3 days later.. The management went out of their way to find it and mailed it promptly back.. Thank you for such GREAT service. Rooms were large and clean..

The staff was very helpful.The room was very comfortable. The bed was exceptional. Best sleep ever in a strange bed. Pillows were good too. The room was quiet and had everything I needed for a one night stay including a refrigerator.

Check in wasn't until 4 but they allowed us to check in early. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was a full meal nice hot breakfast to start your day. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Overall great experience.

I teach in Los Angeles at least ten times a year so I shop around for hotels that will give me a good night's rest in a comfortable setting at a price that is reasonable. I can sometimes get the Hampton Inn (just a couple of doors down from this hotel) for a great rate but when I can't I stay here as it is nearly as nice and usually less expensive. I prefer it if they can give me a room away from the freeway, but it doesn't always work out. Still, the hotel is pretty well insulated so the freeway noise has not been a problem. They allow me to check in early, which for me is a big deal because I need my afternoon nap before heading off to teach in the evenings.

Five families traveled to West Covina for a graduation celebration and wedding. The hotel staff was very helpful in getting all of us on the same floor. They were professional and friendly. Hotel is located in a great area near shopping centers and restaurants.

Certainly in need of renovations now being done. Our room was not renovated, broken tiles and mold. Beds were comfortable, some cleanliness issues. Location was good for why we were there visiting relatives close by. At present I would not recommend this motel, until renovations are complete, I will try again next year, as I visit this area annually.

Bed was very comfortable but I was less than impressed with the bathroom....tile in shower and bathroom floor had mold. Needs to cleaned better. Fan in room is not on a thermostat and didn't really cool very well. Hallways were very warm.

The Best Western West Covina is a very nice hotel, but what makes this place even more special is the service from the staff and management. They make you feel at home and make every guest a member of their family. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Close to supermarkets, shopping and restaurants, this hotel was a good place to stay out of the busy LA city area until we flew out from the US after a holiday. Hotel also had a coin laundry which was a nice to have feature. The free breakfast was okay, but you have to go early to find all the items, as the items finish by the end of the 2 hr slot

We stay at this location a few times a year. I wish they had real coffee pots. (just 3-4 cups would be great) The single-cup hot pots they use are worthless. Even though they had the BEST beds of all 4 BW's we stayed at this week, Covina was the only BW we stayed at this week that did NOT have an in-room microwave. Breakfast is less than basic, compared to other BWs. But we don't stay here for the breakfast. I also asked to use the toaster in the dining room (early evening) and was told NO? I guess being a diamond member doesn't carry much weight here. But the comfort of the beds, along with the location will keep us coming back.

Stay was wonderful very clean Easy access to job site and areas of interest in the area. Staff was wonderful and will stay there again when in that area for the next phase of our job we are doing in the area.

If I could rate this a 0 I would. This place has no sense of urgency for my child's medical condition. The rooms were suppose to be non-smoking however out room reeked of smoke. I was told they were at max capacity & couldn't really do much. I requested for some sort of solution but Luis refused to address the issue. When asked his name he refused to provide any additional information & advised the night manager was off for the weekend.

This is a very clean hotel and there is Walmart near the hotel. You must have a ride if you want to stay near the area. There is a very pretty in-n-out restaurant near by the freeway, the view and environment is great, again, you must have to rent a car.

In spite of the construction and noise from the freeway traffic, we were pleased with our stay. The room was clean and priced reasonably. The A/C wasn't working, but we were able to open a window, so the room was fairly comfortable. We'd stay there again.

Great staff at check in, very friendly and helpful. Explained where everything was and about express check-out. Basically, just leave your keys at the desk in the morning. Even got the receipt sent to my email. So convenient! Only problem is it is next to a freeway, so if you are a light sleeper, I'd make sure to have a sound machine on at night.

Attended business in the Area and I have had really good luck recently with Beat Western Plus. The Staff was friendly and the room was a great value. It offered a continental Breakfast in the mornings but the Hotel was so busy it was very difficult to get a seat or anything other than Coffee and Yogurt in the mornings. I would stay at this facility again.

Location, location, location. This hotel is located along the 10 Freeway in West Covina. It was convenient for me to use this as my "home spot" for meetings in Los Angeles as well as the High Desert. We had meetings in LA and Barstow and the hotel worked well as a good place to stay. The restaurants around the hotel are a bit hit and miss, but if you do your research you can find some good places to eat as well.

Room was clean and had VERY comfortable bed and pillows. However, my wife could smell smoke from a prior guest who apparently didn't care it was a non-smoking room. Never got breakfast, as no matter what time we went, it was PACKED with people (only about 6 tables in the room). Also, WEREN'T TOLD the lights in the shower room were on a timer; was in the dark when toweling off! This is a safety hazard that guests should be warned about.

All was well for both the room and the breakfast. We Have stayed here several times and they always have the same quality. The rooms are spacious with 3 chairs in the room. The breakfast was very good with scrambled eggs, pork sausage, potato patties, fruit and a variety of breads to choose from. The coffee was good and had several choices of creamers.

We are in the fourth year of a drought. This motel does not have low flow faucets. Also, their water fountain in the lobby doesn't turn off completely so they are continually wasting water. They need to get with the time and care more about the environment.

Could not sleep because of the loud freeway sounds all night. Toilet was loud as well. The windows seem to have no glass because the Freeway is so close. They need to improve the sound proofing. Every truck and every car is heard all night! Never again at the Best Western in Covina, CA

in town for a day project, stayed Friday night. Clean, friendly place near several good restaurants. Karaoke night at El Torito was fun! Best Western stay was excellent except breakfast was a bit substandard, no milk, no yogurt, waffles a bit rubbery.

I would likely give this place 3.5 stars. We stayed here a few years ago and it appears things haven't changed a lot. Some people have written about upgrades; however we were on the first floor in an area that was NOT upgraded. (Many hallway doors were open where workers were painting and/or doing other repairs.) Our room was clean but things were old and in need of refreshing. Shower didn't work well, Sink very tiny. We didn't ask for handicapped room but that is what we got. (And it wasn't totally in ADA compliance with regulations for wheelchairs etc) Breakfast was a disappointment. The breakfast room was way too small for the numbers of diners. Choices of food were not good - and sparse. It was a convenient location for us so we may return in future - but will likely search elsewhere.

Very affordable and room was very comfortable. Hotel has been remodeled and overall a really decent clean hotel. Staff at front desk are very friendly and were accommodating on our early arrival. They were able to get us checked in a bit early which was extremely helpful to us since we had a party to get dressed for.

We stayed at the Best Western after a hockey game at Staple Center in LA on our way to Arizona. We checked in late and was put into a one bedroom suite. The room was clean and big. Breakfast was included and was okay. Nice place for the price.

First off, the desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful during check in. The room was huge! Room tap water tasted fine, and the hot water 24/7 in the breakfast room was good. Breakfast had excellent orange juice, and the pancake / waffle makers were nice. There were a few trade-offs, however. The carpeted floor was lumpy throughout the room. Power outlets were hard to find / access. The wireless internet was dial-up speed (very slow). The rest of breakfast was underwhelming, and not restocked quickly. The fridge door in the breakfast area is bent and does not seal when closed. The fridge itself was barely stocked. We asked for a crib blanket for our baby and got a king-sized blanket. Overall, I'd stay again, but I'd first check if the Fairfield Inn had availability.

I am staying here longer period. Now been here for 1 week. Room is nice and clean. Plumbing noises can hear well, and also foot steps from the room above. Breakfast is very basic. No restaurant, but just next door is couple of possibilities. Also a shopping center is walking distance. I feel I can stay here longer time. Only I wish that breakfast room is having more seats, now on weekend I have to collect somethings from there and eat in my room, but room is big enough. Hotel is worth of this money.

My husband and I stayed four nights at the Best Western Plus in West Covina. The property is very nice...welcoming entry, nice rooms, good coffee and a good breakfast provided! The staff was freindly and welcoming. The beds and pillows were wonderful!! I look forward to our next stay next Christmas!

So let's start with the good. Bed was comfortable. Shower works well. Now the bad... Plumbing is NOISY. There's this strange periodic ringing that happens throughout the night. I was told that it's the plumbing. Either the hot water or just the flow of water when people flush toilets 'n such. There was a group of kids staying there for some athletic event. Throughout the night, they were charging around the hallways disturbing the other occupants. Too bad the hotel couldn't take the time or effort to tell the adults in this group to control the fools.

This is a nice hotel, we stay here often. Although, the last two times we have had considerable trouble sleeping because the room was near the highway and we heard a lot of highway noise. They have upgraded the televisions in the last year or so.

The hotel is a good hotel, and has a good location, however the property and staff have a lot of room for improvement to meet the standard I am accustomed to from staying at other BW Plus hotels around California and the Midwest.

Great hotel , top staff and i was treated well and looked after , i have stayed multiple times at this location over the last 10 years without considering other places , comfortable bed too ! , good location near restaurants and easy freeway access

Not the best looking property from the outside, apparently some renovation going on. Other than that the only issue was a hot tub that was lukewarm, hopefully the temperature will be dialed up a bit for our next stay. Room, breakfast, and service were great, we'll be staying here again.

I had called the hotel the day before and had requested a first floor,non smoking room. When we checked in we were given a third floor non smoking room that smelled so bad of smoke that we didn't even go in. We then were put in a first floor non smoking room at the end of the hotel. Getting there, we had to walk through the long corridor that reeked of smoke, and these were amid all the non smoking rooms. Our room was nice and clean, but being on the end, and across from the freeway, the room was very noisy. For some reason their was either car alarms or vehicles nearby backing up with the beep beep, beep, that it was not pleasant. I went out to the spa and it was very cool. Breakfast was not impressive. We had booked this hotel because it was rated 4.0 out of five. Other, more expensive hotels were rated lower. Overall, I wold give this a 2/5. rating. I would not recommend it to others.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the West Covina Inn - I cannot say enough about the staff that greeted me when I arrived very late in the evening! The room was absolutely amazing especially the bed! Thank you!

Visiting family in Baldwin Park, scary, we stayed at the Best Western in West Covina for a pair of nights and were much happier than in the hot, muggy, house with bars on the windows where my grandparents have lived for 70+ years. Nice room. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the A/C was welcome, the pool was refreshing, and the hot tub, although set at about 95 degrees, was pleasant as well. The full breakfast was pretty good too. Free wi-fi. The only downfall, perhaps, was the noise from the traffic on I-10 a mere 100 feet from our window.

Big room,well furnished and furbished....My room overlooked the swimming pool. Can view the high way with vehicles moving 24 hours....Can just sit and gaze.Good breakfast ....light and healthy.Close to all the shopping places or eating places.An evening walk in the vicinity was simply great.Lot of greenery near by.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. Loved everything about it except we did have a little problem with breakfast one day. It was packed and very little food available. Other than that Best Western Plus is a very pleasant place to stay. Will stay there again.

My staying at Best Western Plus West Covina Inn was a pleasant experience where made me comfortable during the period 18 days staying at the city for business. Especial appreciation goes to the exceptional service provided at front desk, Martin is the one: nice, professional and passionate that treats his client as friend and is always willing to provide extra assistance to make our staying convenient and comfortable, given I fly from another side of the ocean to stay at the foreign country for business. His passionate and kind assistance made me able to focus on my business, don't need to worry the rest of affairs, include the plan for weekend trip to another area other than West Covina. I will be there again, stay with Best Western Plus West Covina , should I will be there again.

The trip was pleasurable and was made so because of the treatment received through the services rendered by the hotel staff from the checking in point to the checking out point. Rooms looks comfortable, the environment looks friendly, the amenities are enticing.

This hotel offered a nice comfortable room and the staff was very friendly and eager to serve. The morning breakfast offered a good selection of choices and was well maintained by the attendants. This definitely will be put on my list of hotels that I will return to when in the area

This is another regular Best Western Hotel using the Plus category to increase their rate. The amenities as so basic that you would think you are in a regular BW hotel or one of those travel motels. What you will find in the bathroom are two old towels and three pieces of small towels. You are provided with 2 small soaps ( one for the face and the other for the body ) and a small shampoo and conditioner. ) Compared to the BW Plus hotel where I stayed before, like the one in Cebu City, this one pales in comparison. Of course you will find the basic things inside the room like the coffee maker and coffee, sugar and cream, a flat iron, a flat screen tv. All these can be found in the regular hotel too. I have a point of reference when it comes to comparison because I have stayed in a BW Plus hotel before where you are provided with slippers, bathrobe, clean and new towels, toiletries ( soaps, shampoos ) of good quality , vanity kit, shoe polish. The breakfast room is also very small in this hotel and it can get crowded when all the hotel guests are there to have breakfast. Again, compared to the BW Plus where I stayed before, this breakfast room pales in comparison. I have stayed in a BW regular hotels before where the breakfast room is even nicer.

this hotel offers continental breakfast, is close to shopping, restaurants, and highways. I enjoy staying here staff is helpful and rooms are quiet and clean. I would recommend this to anyone who visits California.
