Best Western Plus Port of Camas-Washougal Convention Center

Increased pet fee after we already agreed to $25/night. No towels at pool. Room reserved not available so we had to downgrade. Hot water machine for tea in lobby only put out cold water. Breakfast service was good, though.

Great location for us and a nice view of the Columbia with a small park in sight. Staff professional and courteous. Amenities did not disappoint and all were in good working condition. Rooms are spacious (though bathroom was a little tight). This Washougal-Camas area offered many options for dining and entertainment. More bang for our buck than most hotels - and we're picky!

Terrific location, less than 30 minutes from PDX, right on the river. Nice trail nearby. Full breakfast, comfy room, superb front desk staff. We will stay here again. Room had fridge and microwave. Some local restaurants close by.

this was a fun, affordable break from the winter blues. I was invited to a party in Washougal and didn't want to take a long drive home so I booked a room and had a nice time in the pool and room, in front of the fireplace

I stayed 4 nights with my grandson. Great breakfasts every morning. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Could not get a hot shower, water was tepid at best. Pool area needed cleaning and the hot tub foamed 3 out of the 4 nights we stayed. Our over all stay was pleasant.

Nice and clean hotel with comfortable beds. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and coffee were great as well. The rooms were nice and clean with nice views. I will be staying there again.

All you see is a tiny bit of the River and a lot of the buildings in front of you. Breakfast was great. Housekeeping staff was very accommodating. Asked for top floor and only got third floor, a lot of kids running around upstairs all night long

We stayed four nights on our trip in various hotels. This was by far the cleanest, nicest, and most comfortable stay we had on our trip. I wish all hotels were like this. Very friendly staff. Stopped in last minute and they went above and beyond to put us in an amazing room.

The hotel is located just right SR14. It was elegant and the staff there were helpful and accomodating. breakfast was okay and the rooms are clean. Bed is a comfort including the pillows. Towels are a little bit old and not sparkling white....

The staff are easy to work with and accommodating. The room rate is not a good value for the datedness of the hotel and its location. Beds were clean and comfortable. All mechanicals functioned as expected.

Very clean rooms and friendly staff. We had a jacuzzi room which operated well. The beds were comfortable. Good parking. Great location. Swimming pool was loud and packed with kids. Good place to stay in Camas area.

This place is a rip off. He said I had three pets in my room charged me $250 he could clearly see the general manager could clearly see I didn't have three pets in my room. He told the police he doesn't accept that that's a lie they take pets all the time I've been there with my pet before. He said I had to leave because it was an emotional support pet and they don't do that. He robbed $147 out of my account $250 out of my account $27 out of my account and upper management isn't willing to refund it. Total ripoff don't do it treat even call us white trash. I'm a single mom I had no place to say I can't afford this

Was a bit pricey for my 2 night stay. Front desk staff seemed a bit annoyed at check in but got us all checked in in a decent amount of time. Bathroom was tiny requiring you to stand over the toilet to shut the door which missed hitting the toilet by less than an inch. Room was clean A/C worked fine. Decent river view.

Before we even arrived at this hotel I made a phone call to them about their rooms. I wanted a room with a view. The person I spoke with was very nice and accommodating. We arrived to a really nice room with a beautiful view of the Columbia River. All of the staff we encountered were friendly. The rooms and hotel in general were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast selection was great!

This place is a little wear worn but is clean and has all the amenities one would need/expect. It's conveniently located right on the Columbia River. Pleasant hotel staff. Decent complimentary breakfast. We have stayed there several times.

We stay at Best Westerns since they have a lot of pet-friendly hotels. Excellent, with an even better view and a walking trail out the back door. My mom, daughter, and I used the swimming pool and the hot tub. We were very comfortable, and the staff was friendly,

We enjoyed our stay. Our pipes broke from the freeze so we needed somewhere to stay for the night. Room was clean. Kids enjoyed the pool. The hot tub was relaxing. Friendly staff and breakfast was great.

They were able to put us in a river view room on the fourth floor. Rooms on the front of the hotel are facing the freeway. Breakfast was typical buffet. Did have make you own waffles! We would come back again. A nice clean affordable room.

Loved staying here. The view was terrific. The warmth of my welcome and the attention to detail by the staff was refreshing and appreciated. The housekeeping staff were so friendly and answered all questions and helped with added supplies. Alcion was friendly, full of smiles and so genuinely liked her job of helping people. The pool is awesome and perfect temperature when combined with a dip in the jacuzzi then back in the pool for a few more laps. The fitness room was well appointed although a little small. Breakfast was great. Lots of selections great coffee!! I liked the little store to get frozen dinners if needed. Overall 10 star rating!!

Everything was perfect! Simple, safe and clean. Location is perfect for dog walks and didn't have to trade amenities for this convenience. It is getting harder for folks with med/lrg dogs to travel without spending a fortune or trading "dog friendly" for "this location has nothing else to offer". Best Western did not disappoint

I really enjoyed the view and the great breakfast! I was really surprised that I slept so well. The room was very comfortable and spacious. A special highlight was watching the big river boat American Dream dock right by here!

This hotel was convenient and offered a quiet, comfortable and clean place to stay. The complimentary breakfast was better than many and had lots of options. The staff were knowledgable about the area and very friendly. If in this area on another occasion, I'd stay here again!

Good location. Common areas were clean and seemingly well-maintained. Decent service. Good complimentary breakfast. Disgusting, stained carpet. So bad I can't believe they still offer the room to guests. Shades were dirty and stained as well.

Nice view of Columbia River and nice staff. But the carpets and furniture are very stained and the furniture is in bad need of re-upholstery. One of the worst hotels I've seen in terms of the conditions of the rooms. Please redo this place! Great location.

Shower only with 3 inch curb was interesting. Just a dated facility, nothing special. The pricepoint is not supported by the quality of the room. Breakfast was average at best. Broken waffle maker. It was quiet though which was nice.

Close to parks, recreation. Great breakfast, very comfortable room. A very helpful staff. Already made reservations for next year. Highly recommend Washougal Best Western Plus. Excellent value can't be beat!

Excellent stay here along the Columbia River and for the price of the hotel itself! Definitely worth the trip and stay! I would recommend this to anyone traveling to the Portland - Clark County region!

We stay at the Port of Camas Best Western often as the factory we pickup at is just down the street. Being a Rewards Member, we get a better rate on a nicer room. This makes business trips sometimes feel like a mini vacation!

The check in experience was ok, then you use the elevator which makes a god awful noise when it opens/closes. Once in our room it was clean except the molded/yellow clear caulking around the tub and the filthy window. OH and most important we barely had luke warm water to shower with both days we were there. Very expensive for the product.

Nice hotel. The chandelier in the lobby was very pretty. Staff was very nice, especially the front desk people also the maintenance man was very nice. breakfast was pretty good, plenty of it. Hotel room seemed clean.

I've stayed at this particular BW in Washougal, WA several times in the last couple years and it's by far the best price- best location and and one of the few that offer a jacuzzi suite. The walk out back (behind the hotel) along the Columbia River is gold! I recommend it rather rain or shine. A few blocks the other side of hotel and you'll find a coffee shop and a gas station with snacks in store.

Do not stay here unless you are willing to have your driver's license photo copied I absolutely don't mind showing ID to verify the information they already have in their computer but when they need to scan, take a picture or photo copy my personal information its opening myself up for potential identity theft. Who knows where that information goes??? Spoke with the manager who wouldn't make an exception even though I'm a diamond rewards member and they already have all my information I wanted to cancel my reservation but it was past the cancelation period and I know they would charge me I have dealt with that before at other hotels they will not refund you after 4:00 pm I will be contacting Best Western Corporate as this is unacceptable

Comfortable beds, nice swimming and sauna and spa area, close to home for a quick get-away and riverwalk, good location for business access right off the freeway. Pets are allowed and there a few restaurants that deliver or are within a 5 minute drive.

Finally getting a chance to write my review. This hotel was average and typical for a Best Western. We were still dealing with covid and the breakfast was grab and go with very little to choose from. It could have been better. They had run out of some items leaving little left to choose from. I have stayed in other Best Westerns during covid and the grab and go choices were better. My only issue during out stay was when I went to redeem our $100 in BW gift cards. The girl at the front desk told me she couldn't apply them to the bill but gave me an email address and told me to email the certificate numbers to the manager at a gmail address. What? I have used many BW gift certificates that I have earned from BW when I travel and I have never been told to email the numbers to anyone! How do I know who will be getting these numbers and how do I know they aren't going to use them themself? The girl at the front desk seemed a bit put out and irritated when I told her I would not email this information to anyone at some gmail account. Anyway, I did NOT email the manager the numbers and instead had to come back to the front desk in the morning and see the manager in person. The certificates were then applied to the bill. This seems like a strange practice and isn't very convenient.

Stayed here 3 yrs ago and this place has way gone down hil since thenl. Room is not clean and really needs new carpeting. I wiped all surfaces with clorox wipes once I saw how dirty the light switch by door was. Found a pill bottle behind night table that was 2 yrs old. Door closes but doesn't latch unless you pull on it. Pillows were horrible and hard to get hot water unless I waited until 11am to shower. Did online pre check in and requested 2 extra pillows to be in room as we would arrive at midnight & called the morning of check in to confirm. Still no pillows in room. Man working the night shift ran around to find pillows and one had a dirty pillow case. Our room had no hand or shower soap, no one answered at the front desk so we had to go down. Man again had to run around looking for soap. Very disappointed for this price! Will go to Vancouver next trip.

We have stayed at this Best Western many times over the years. The staff is friendly and the facilities clean. If you are planning on staying in the motel at all, get a river view room so you can look out and enjoy the view of the river. It is a south facing room so if it is hot outside, you might get a lot of sun but the view is worth it.

very clean indoor and outdoors. The staff was helpful and nice. And the pool and hot tub very clean and relaxing. My kids just love going there, the best part of the stay is our puppy was able to stay as well

My husband and I spent one night here after visiting friends in the area. It was the closest and cheapest hotel, although I would pay a bit more next time and go elsewhere. We're Best Western Rewards members, and have stayed at many all over the country, and this one was a bit disappointing. Check in was quick, and overall decor in the lobby and room were fine. Hall rugs need a good cleaning. The room itself and furniture showed signs of wear, and the mirrored door on the closet had a crack plus would stick when opened and shut. We liked the sink and counter being separate from the shower and toilet, and they were clean. However the toilet/shower room had very dim lighting. The room had a fridge, microwave, safe, iron & board, hairdryer and coffee maker. Towels were thin and not very absorbent. The king bed had a comfortable mattress, but all of the provided pillows were flat. We chose a room on the highway side to save money....rooms on the river side cost extra. We could hear traffic noise, but the hotel is set back enough that it wasn't real annoying. The hot/cold breakfast bar in the AM was adequate...there was an assortment of eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, apples, waffles, etc. I wish they had homemade oatmeal instead of the instant type. We ate enough to take the edge off and stopped for a meal later on our trip to the coast. As mentioned earlier, perhaps my expectations for a best Western Plus were high, but I would stay elsewhere in the future when we visit the area.

Rooms were dirty and furniture was stained. Mini fridge had something spilled In it. The solution was to move us to another room that was not quite as dirty but still not clean. Room is not cleaned the next day unless you request it.

Front Desk staff were accomodating and professional through a hectic weekend that required patience. Those at the front desk provided options of stay and offered discount that reduce total cost of stay.

Close to Columbia River, a great trail, and a wonderful restaurant. The staff was outstanding, the room was clean, the beds comfortable. We had a room with a view of the River. As you're facing the river standing in front of the hotel, if you walk to the right, you will reach the Puffin Restaurant within 5 minutes. If you walk to the right, you will reach a paved trail within 5 minutes, starting at Black Pearl Park. It parallels the river, with an unsaved side spur that puts you on the river's bank. Breakfast you need to pick up in the lobby and eat in your room at this time.

Paid $240 for a king suite which was an inflated price. The staff checking me in lied about the availability to up sell. Then the bathroom and room were like a broom closet. The hot water was non existent. No soap in the dispensers. And bugs crawling all over the bathroom. It was the worst hotel experience I've ever had! Do not stay here!

We stayed for three days and the room was never cleaned. Despite requesting it. We had to wait in line to get clean towels each night at the front desk. Not what you expect when you're paying 180+ per night.

I always love this particular Best Western as it is always clean and welcoming. We got to check in early, the desk help spoke English (which is not always the case in other hotels!), our room was nice and roomy, great view of the river, and the bed was EXCEPTIONALLY comfortable! We are never disappointed with a Best Western or Best Western Plus.

We were on the 4th floor with a gorgeous view of the Columbia River and River Park. Nice sitting area with a couch and chair. The bathroom is kind of small, but not a big deal. Hotel is very clean, the staff friendly, and the morning breakfast included hot eggs and sausage or a grab and go bag. I thoroughly enjoyed staying here.

We spent 7 nights at this property where we have stayed many nights previously and the ability to service bathroom supplies was totally unacceptable. We had only one bathroom wash cloth, one water glass and no bath mat. These essential items had been back ordered for 6 months. The corporate management should not allow the hotels to rent rooms that can't be supplied with essential bathroom items. This is a health and safety issue.

Clean rooms with views of Mt. Hood and the Columbia River. The park by the river was fantastic and so glad it was so close! Due to COVID no continental breakfast but the bags breakfast were nice. Our kids liked the included pastries and the cereal options.

The employee working at the front desk told us they had a policy that guests must sign up for a one hour time slot to use the swimming pool. We could not sign up for additional time slots, even if there weren't any other guests in the pool at the time. During our alloted time, they let other guests enter the pool area without a mask. I asked two different employees why they only enforced the policy for certain guests and they both claimed they hadn't heard anything about the policy.

Quiet restful hotel,good staff rooms are clean,and every thing works.Good speed on internet,if you get a room on the river side you have a great view of the Columbia river.Hotel is close to good restaurants and stores.

This was my first time staying at this motel. What a disappointment. The parking lot was disgusting, there were cigarette butts and trash everywhere I stepped. It looked like a giant ash tray. The furnace leaked all night long drip,drip,drip Keeping me awake. I thought it was outside on the window sill, I didn't realize until the next morning the drip was inside the room. The next morning I tried to use the microwave..it was broke. When I went to the front desk to ask to see the manager the women told me she was the manager. I told her my complaints, she just looked at me as if to say....SO! She nor anyone else came down to the room to check on the furnace or microwave, let alone taking a look outside at the disgusting parking lot. I've used Best Western motels for years and have never in my many travels have I seen such a disregard for a quest.

I stayed here with a friend for a Girls Weekend. The room was mostly clean, the toilet could have used a good scrubbing. We had a nice view of the river and we could walk down to the waterfront. It is a good budget motel.

The room was noisy, the breakfast was a joke - no milk available for 3 days! Laundry facility filthy. Front desk person curt and unfriendly. Spiders in the room on the 3rd floor. The front desk person was never out front - always had to ring the bell to get her to come out.

Despite the Virus, the hotel was a pleasure to stay at. The hotel was definitely ready for guests and the signage made it clear how the new normal works. The staff was extremely helpful and patient and the view of the river awesome!

I went here for a trip and the internet was slow, We could smell smoke and it was all smoggy in here. It took three different rooms to find one. The first one had people in it the second with the smoke smell and the third one had smoke but I did not want to change.

Our stay was very comforrable. The rooms are satisfactory, just your typical hotel room. The bathroom is very small, but has everything you need to make your stay comforrable. The complimentary breakfast is good. Lots of choices to fit all different appetites.

I and my family have stayed at this Best Western for many years. Any problems have always been attended to in a courteous, efficient manner. The grandchildren love the pool, the breakfast and the opportunity to walk near the water, in addition to the proximity to food outlets. The staff are friendly and helpful from the time I make my reservation until I check out.

This is an easily accessible hotel that can be overlooked because it is on the Columbia River rather than downtown Washougal. This is a relatively new property that is well maintained and offers rooms with views of the river.

This is our second time staying at Parkerville Inn, while visiting family along the Columbia River. The service is friendly, helpful and efficient. We stayed in a river side room, quiet at night so we could sleep with an open window. The room and bath were large and kept clean.

When I visit my daughter in Washougal, I stay at this BW. I have never had a bad experience. From the moment I check in until I walk out the door for the last time, I am treated pleasantly, politely and helpfully. The rooms are clean, the breakfast selection is good and the employee in the breakfast room is quiet and efficient. I can't say enough good about this facility and I am really glad it is there. I do wish they'd put a tip jar in the breakfast room.

Service was great. Front desk helped us change the dates of our reservation , keeping the same rates. Then later allowed us to bring our grandkids who live locally to the pool. Family friendly for sure. Lots of options for bfast though they could use a few more tables in dining room.

Excellent hotel. Feels much nicer than a regular Best Western. The two female staff at reception when we were checking in were exemplary. Needless to say the room was spotless and comfortable. We went out to eat and I came back and realised I left my key in the room and one of the aforementioned staff made me up another key with no problem! The pool was clean and a good size. Nice touch having coffees, teas and cookies in the lobby. Would love to stay again if ever in the area. Meal tip: We are vegan and went to Mighty Bowl in Vancouver, plenty of great, tasty, healthy vegan options.

The cleaning crew and breakfast staff were very friendly, and the front desk clerk was very helpful in printing out our airline boarding passes. Our room had a pleasant sitting area at one end. Fresh cookies in the lobby in the late afternoon were a nice bonus. We did not watch TV or make use of the internet access, or the exercise equipment.

We recieved an early registration email and thought we would try it. It wasn't any help at all. We would told they would contact us when the room finally did become available and were promised a better view than last time. We entered up calling back hours later to check on room and still no answer. We were also promised a better view and got the same room and view as last time. A building and parking lot which blocked most of the view of the River.

The hotel is next to a highway next to a park and the Columbia river. Parking was easy. The room had a nice sitting area with a view to the river, which was a nice surprise. Short walk to a small city park by the river. Room was clean and quiet. Good sleep quality. AC worked well and was quiet.

This hotel is modern, clean and overlooks the Columbia River. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the front desk staff is very friendly. If you are visiting the Pendelton Mills or traveling along the north side of the Columbia River, this is a great location.

The hotel is nicely located close to the Columbia River, which we could enjoy from our hotel room. The room was average size, the breakfast offered the usual things. Due to the traffic the hotel was not as "close" (= driving time) to Portland as we expexted

Checked in for a four day stay for a wedding with 12 other couples. We made our reservation 5 months in advance for a handicap suite and were told after check in nothing like that was available after we lugged all of our luggage to a non-handicap room. So we had no choice other than to accept a regular room. Now it gets worse. Beds are hard, linens are scratchy muslin quality and every day each one of the 12 pair of us have run out of hot water while attempting to take showers. We requested a “do not disturb” sign since Room didn't have one and the idiot desk person put it on our door instead of under our door while we were out so of course our room never got cleaned that day. You have been warned.

Breakfast was good, lots of options. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were wonderful. Beautiful view of the river. Plenty of restaurant and pub options close by. We were attending Washougal Nationals.

We recently stayed at the Parkerville Best Western for our honeymoon. We visited the Washington/Portland area to see Multnoma Falls and were very happy with our choice to stay at this location. It was clean and felt safe and next to the Columbia river so we had a great spot to retreat to after our visit into busy Portland. We also found the sweet little Puffin Cafe right on the water a very short walk from the hotel. We ate and drank while floating on the water and were able to watch the boats and walk right back to our room and get cozy! We also had a jacuzzi tub in our room and a fireplace which was a great bonus! Thankyou for having us and making us so comfortable while away from home!

Overall, the hotel was nice and clean. Was not happy with the service I received at this particular hotel. Due to a late flight I asked for a late checkout of one hour. Was told the manager put a policy in place that eliminated late checkouts the same day I asked for it. I very rarely ask for late checkouts and have never been told no...very disappointed.

Very clean and great amenities. Comfortable bed., indoor pool, sauna and spa. Had a complete breakfast no need to go out. The building is newer building so everything is great! Coffee, tea hot coca and cookies in the lobby and the staff was very nice.

Our room was on the top floor facing the Columbia River. The view is fantastic. Cleaned up completely since our last visit. Interesting Event Venue behind hotel, looks brand new. Quiet even though we had the window open! Comfortable and clean

The hotel is clean and modern and very quiet with easy access to Camas for good restaurants. Hated the paper plates and plastic cutlery at breakfast. The eggs are microwaved scrambled eggs (tasteless) not much cereal choice and the pastries are a bit stale.

Check in early with no issues. Breakfast was lacking cut fruit, but had a selection of whole fruit as well as a waffle maker, oatmeal, asst breads & lack luster pastries (dry) . Well stocked and clean. Room was spacious however it looked over the car lot in the back. Should have asked for a better view room..... no upgrades to the room needed, lots of thick towels. Pool was on the chilly side, but clean & well maintained. Not too busy for being in peak season on a Friday night. Beds are really firm & HIGH, I am 5'1, so not tall, but I had to crawl up as it came to my waist. Could be an issue for those with limited mobility.

Nicely appointed, well maintained, courteous staff, comfortable rooms with a view of the Columbia. Full breakfast included. Indoor pool was not very warm, but otherwise large very nicely appointed room. Washougal should consider having a professional design the roads approaching the hotel or provide guests with Dramamine. Traffic circles connecting to traffic circles with questionable signage. The hotel was great though!

Booked it for the price and location and pool. Had no idea how clean and new it was. Pool was great and breakfast was an added perfect surprise. Took a great walk outside in the morning in a scenic area across parking lot.

Clean and close to vacation sites. Grocery stores and restaurants close by. Portland, Oregon extremely close.I wish the pool was available on the first nite. But overall, great staff and very friendly and helpful.

Spent a couple of days and nights here on family business. Rented a room with a hot tub on the third floor facing the river. Nice big room featured a gas lit fireplace, couch, lounge chair, desk, plenty of drawers, a small amoire, as well as a regular closet. TV/fridge/micro -- good channel selection on the TV. Full large bath incl tub/shower. King bed super comfortable! Nice river view somewhat compromised by a new building across the street, but still very pretty. Trees in the parking lot getting kind of big and starting to block the view, too. Large marina on the river - but far enough away traffic/noise not a nuisance. Very nice public riverside park and walking trail just across the back parking lot! Nice off the main road place to stay! Good breakfast offered = spartan, but fair selection and the hostess lady very nice and accommodating. Close to downtown Washougal, so plenty of restaurants and services close by - not necessarily within walking distance, but close. Very friendly staff!

Nice location (if you are driving there, of course....) with a short walk to a small park overlooking the river and the local docks. Comfortable and tidy room and a great service crew ! There is an indoor pool ( rather cold ) a hot tub that needed some cleaner water, and a gym that was OK ! Great breakfast !

A good stay, slept well typical of a Best Western Plus - standard breakfast. There was no one at the front desk when we arrived just a note saying "I am away from the desk for 10 minutes" I don't know how long she had been gone but she did return within 10 minutes. Later in our stay I was in the foyer and the note was on the desk again and a guest arrived for help. We explained that we expected someone would be at the desk within 10 minutes as it has worked last time. We had a little joke. There was fresh brewed coffee for everyone to have while waiting. The member of staff was obviously very busy and trying to do everything. Better staffing is needed here.

Big king size bed. Walking distance to a little park close to the hotel. Large bathroom. Close to highway 14 and we could hear the traffic. I would recommend a room away for the room. Breakfast was plentiful.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel! I had attended a wedding in Washougal so there were multiple rooms of guests for this event. We got an early check in, the staff was nice and once we returned from the wedding there were multiple guests in multiple rooms and we had gotten no complaints from other guests which was awesome. The breakfast the next morning was also very good, there was a short line with fresh food. The rooms were spacious and very clean!

Stayed a few weeks in September 2018 for work. Typical best western. Hot breakfast which is good for a hotel breakfast, clean room, friendly staff, great cookies, great location. Would stay here again

Delightful and wonderful stay. the staff were courteous and helpful. The breakfast bar was wonderful, especially the biscuits and sausage gravy. I plan on doing more staycations in the future. thank you for a wonderful time

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Bedding all seemed clean, room was nice size, it had a nice little sofa as well... Doors and handles were all sticky though, kinda gross. Overall, nice hotel to stay for a couple of nights near PDX.

We had over 40 guests from out of town staying here for our son's wedding at a near-by venue, we couldn't have been happier - John, the desk clerk, managed to get most who requested it checked in early enough to allow time to get ready for the wedding after flights and road trips. Outside of a rather mediocre breakfast, they managed to exceed our expectations in every other way.

Chose this hotel to be near the Camas area and try something new (there are great options in vancouver too) Very pleased. New hotel, very clean room, great decor and ambiance, friendly staff, quiet location, etc. HUGE and fun glass chandelier in the lobby which gave the entry a fun and upscale vibe. Standard very firm Best Western beds. (I've started to bring my own small foam topper when staying at at BW :-) Unique to this hotel is its location in Washougal which is right on the Columbia river. Riverside rooms look out over the small marina and the new park and walking path. We were fortunate to catch a sunny stay in April and it was beautiful! (not raining in western washington? - score!) The small town of Camas is right next door. Short distance to drive to vancouver. Great option is you want to be east of vancouver and explore the hiking trails and excursions along Highway 14. Definitely would stay here again.

Great alternative to staying near PDX if you have transportation. Clean, reasonably priced, good value, quiet location on north side of the Columbia. New city park down the road from hotel with views of the gorge.

Stayed for one night, but I wish I could stay longer. Newer hotel with the Columbia river views. Very nice park and walking trails. The view was amazing, but I wish they had balconies. Comfortable bed, clean rooms.

It was pretty much your typical Best Western..... clean, nice staff, typical hot breakfast. I booked it because I thought it was close to Bridal Veil Falls & Multnomah Falls in Oregon ~ it wasn't. They put out delicious fresh warm cookies. Don't pass them by or you won't get any ~ they go fast! Best Western Hotels are my go to.... they almost never disappoint!

This is a very clean and beautiful hotel. Great customer service. Fresh warm cookies in lobby gives this hotel a extra touch. The room was beautiful with a great water view. Breakfast was outstanding. Bacon, eggs, waffles, fruit, cereal to name a few. Wow I haven't seen bacon in awhile at the past several hotels we have stayed at. Food was stocked and never empty. Thanks for a great experience Best Western! We will definitely stay here again.

This was the first time I'd stayed in a Best Western in a long time. I would definitely stay here again. The room was spotless. We asked for a river view room & we got one! The entire staff from the front desk, to the breakfast room, to housekeeping could not have done a better job. Kudos to staff & management here.

Great location to access food, entertainment and shopping. The staff was professional, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was was a great experience. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO FAMLI FRIEND AND CO-WORKERS!!

This hotel is located behind a used car storage lot. There is no view other than that. Our king suite was very roomy with a small sofa and 2 chairs. The bed was very comfortable. We loved the fresh baked cookies in the lobby in the afternoon. Breakfast was good with pancakes and bacon.

We went over to Multnomah falls area and needed a place to stay traveling through Portland. This was a great place to stay. It is on the Washington state side (Columbia river separates the states). It looked fairly new and looks are they are still completing the back parking lot. It is off Hwy 14 (thru two traffic circles) and somewhat secluded. There is small gas station market nearby (walking distance). There is a nice walking path/park from the hotel. The rooms are spacious and bed comfortable. Sorry, I didn't check the internet - we were pretty tired. There is complementary breakfast with full continental offerings. The back half of the hotel rooms have the view of the Columbia river albeit the best view would be the higher floors (see picture). We were traveling with our pet dog and this hotel was NOT dog-friendly but we were able to stay since she is a service animal. Overall, a great place to stay.

Stayed here for one night on our west coast trip. Cancelled our last night at a Best Western in Seaside Oregon that we were disappointed in and chose this lodging instead. Was not disappointed at all. The woman who checked us in was awesome. Told us where everything was including which way to go once we got off the elevator. We had a King bed suite with Jacuzzi and river view. It was clean and cozy and had a nice view of the river. Easy to walk around the hotel and get down to the water area. We were in room 217 and beside the squeeky bathroom door (needs to be oiled), it was a great stay. Woul definitely recommend this hotel if staying or passing through the area. Not close enough to town to wak to restaurants for us. We did have loud people above us, running and jumping, which was annoying, but quieted down when we went to sleep.

Best Western is my overall number one choice for motels/hotels. I have always been extremely pleased with their employees, their services, cleanliness, maintenance, etc. I was a little disappointed this time, but nothing major. My room preference was not met. They need adjustable shower heads for people of varying heights. A little more variety in their breakfast buffet. Price is a little high.

My husband and I visited to get away from home for a few days. We had a wonderful time. It was a clean establishment, the breakfast food selection was great, snacks were available for purchase, the spa was nice along with the pool and sauna. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. It was a great place to stay with beautiful areas to walk outdoors.

I planned a family birthday gathering at this hotel, renting rooms for the guests and the meeting room for the birthday party. Everyone had a great time. The kids loved the pool. The adults could gather in the meeting room and visit. Everything was clean and comfortable. The staff, especially John, was very accommodating and easy to work with. I didn't have to make beds, clean toilets or cook breakfast for the family. I let Best Western Parkersville do it for me. For those who get tired of being cooped up indoors, there is a great walking area long the Columbia River. Thank you to the staff for doing a great job.

Both the lady that checked us in and the gentleman that checked us out went above and beyond in separate occurrences. This was by far our best Best Western experience customer service wise. Even the housekeeping staff made a positive impression with towels fold into animals and their friendly demeanor. Given that, the proximity to the Columbia River, Water front Park, hiking, and an outstanding Jamaican restaurant practically in the parking lot my bithday was amazing!! Thank you

Beautiful Hotel and great service. We've been here before and we'll stay here again. Great if you're traveling along WA14, out of town but close enough. We found the room to be very comfortable and clean. Staff was very professional and courteous.

We requested a rollaway bed at the time of our reservation, but there was no record of our request upon arrival. After asking for a rollaway, the desk clerk did everything they could to avoid honoring our request, including suggesting that my family member sleep on the room's loveseat, that would be "more comfortable than a rollaway". It wasn't, and we are seriously considering staying elsewhere when we visit family in the area.

The hotel was nice, the location was great. Very close to the city. For a suite, the room was described as "two" rooms, but is actually one large room with an extra sofa and chair.but the beds are hard and not comfortable at all. My wife and daughters had a hard time getting a good night's rest.

we have stayed at this hotel three times. service has always been very good. the staff friendly and courteous. the rooms clean and comfortable. Housekeeping very efficient. very quiet in room. good selection of channels on a nice TV. plenty of hot water. The breakfast is pretty good. My only complaint is the coffee. we will stay there again and will recommend to family and friends.

This was my first time in Washington. This hotel was excellent in every aspect. I am a low maintenance guy so i don't require much. But these folks went the extra mile and made the experience something to remember. The worst part of the trip was those cookies that they put out in the evenings. It sure didn't help my diet... The place smelled great. Reminded me of my wife's cookies at home.. Room, staff, breakfast... all top notch.

The rooms and the dining area were clean, the staff was exceptionally pleasant, as were the other happy guests. The mattress was exceptionally comfortable. The location on the Columbia is stunning. Lots of beautiful walks from the hotel along the water to both Camas and Washougal. We always try to stay here when we visit our family in East Vancouver, Washington.

Nice property, nice staff , clean room , very nice lobby . The only problem was very loud Spanish music playing all night until 2:30 in the morning . I called the front seat around 11pm ,and they were unable to deal with it . Wound up going to a memorial for a loved one with absolutely no sleep .

I have stayed here several times and will stay here several more. It is clean, comfortable and convenient. The service is great. The bathrooms are small, but the rooms have a comfortable seating area.

We liked everything about this place. It was easy to find. Parking seemed safe, free and adequate. Friendly, helpful staff and clean and comfortable rooms made this a favorite near family. Breakfast was just okay. Still a good deal!

excellent service close to beautiful scenery and good food hotel was very clean great swimming pool and jaquzzie very useful gym area with excellent equipment. Right next door to the ford dealer so if in need of a car. Dining just foot steps away on the beautiful Columbia river floating on the dock with breath taking views of the river and MT Hood beautiful sunsets walks on the river this was an experience I will never forget and with the help of the Best Western made it even better.

Room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Bath towels were super soft AND absorbent. Bed was comfortable and clean. Great location along the Columbia River in Washougal, Wa. Nice walking paths, river access and incredible sights. The Complimentary breakfast and coffee were just "OK" tasting. Nice assortment, maybe better on a different day?

This was our first stay at a Best Western hotel and a last minute couples getaway. I tend to stay at another hotel chain out of habit and a history of good experiences but this room had the couples tub. Since this was my first with this chain, I can honestly say that given a choice in the future, I will not choose Best Western. I chose this hotel because it had a view of the river (my partner loves the water). I got the deluxe suite with jacuzzi and fireplace and specifically called in after booking to request a room on the river side of the hotel. I as told this would not be an issue. When we arrived, we had to wait at the for more than 5 minutes before someone even showed up at the front desk. I had to wait at least 2 other times that evening as well. When I confirmed we had a river view and we were told there were only rooms on the freeway side. I also asked about unscented toiletries (which I had also requested due to allergies) and was told they don't have this option. Breakfast is included in the price of the room, however, the quality of the food in general was extremely low and much of the pastries and breads were stale or overly sugary. Even the cook-your-own waffles and oatmeal, which are usually a safe bet, were completely tasteless. We ultimately left and got breakfast elsewhere. The last straw was that I had requested late checkout (one hour later) and confirmed it when we arrived. 10 minutes before standard checkout, the cleaning lady knocked on the door. I answered and said we have late checkout. Almost immediately, the phone rang (mind you 10 minutes before standard checkout time), it was the front desk calling to see if we were going to be out of our room soon. I had to explain twice that we had been approved for late checkout. I will say that we did use the jacuzzi tub and fireplace in our room and both were very nice. To recap, the room was decent, very small for a deluxe, but we enjoyed the tub and fireplace. The food, general amenities, and front desk service were pretty dissapointing.

This is the second time I have stayed here. The breakfast is great. They are very clean. Staff his always helpful. Best part is you can walk out the door and your right at the river. It is beautiful with mountain scenery and a great walk way down to the beach.

This hotel is quiet with a friendly staff. Downtown Camas is a fun place to shop or go to lunch and the hotel is very close. We did not have a river view but will request one next visit. The Columbia River is very close.

. We booked this hotel last minute to come and visit our grandchildren. We had a very nice stay , the pool was great and the staff were really nice.The Puffin restaurant was cool. the kids got a kick out of it and my grand daughter went to town on the steamed clams .We will be back next year.

Looking for a great location before you head up the Columbia, maybe somewhere a little more relaxed when visiting Portland, then look no further. Clean accommodations, friendly staff, & a couple of nice restaurants nearby make for a convenient, restful experience. Looking to buy a new Ford, scan the selection right out the front door of the motel. Good digs & a new ride, the best of all worlds!

Rooms not ready by 3:00 guaranteed check-in -- not just fo rme, but for many guests Had no top sheet or cover for comforter, so we had to sleep in bedding used by someone else. Bed did not get made one day. Other guests in my family experienced the same problems. Staff and manager refused to compensate for unsatisfactory stay. There attitude was "too bad, pay the bill."

My stay was excellent the staff was courteous and attentive the receivers for ordering a movie did not work we tried to rent Wonder Woman and we're not able to that was our only issue with this day the gentleman at the front desk kind of hit on my wife made her a little uncomfortable the lady at the front desk was very professional and one of the cleaning staff was very kind and friendly just in passing in the elevator

We were evacuated from our home for two days because of the Archer Mt. forest fire in the Columbia Gorge. The Best Western in Washougal, WA allowed us to stay with our two dogs even though they have a "no pet" policy. It was such a relief to have a safe, comfortable place to stay until we were allowed back home. My dogs knew they were special guests and they were on their best behavior. Thank you to the manager and staff of Best Western.

Staff was more accomodating and helpful than average. A clean, restful facility, close to Highway 14 but far enough off that you don't get traffic or other noise in the room. Also the most reasonable price we paid for lodging on our enrire 2000 mile west coast trip. We would stay again.

beds comfy, pillows okay, room is quiet, curtains make it dark, bathroom clean, fan works, friendly employees, pool room is noisy when children scream!, breakfast was good, good variety, good oatmeal, food was hot, breakfast ladies were friendly.

I came down here to stay for a location to view the total eclipse of August 21, 2017. I was able to get up early and drive to Hubbard, OR - and left as soon as the eclipse peaked - I made it back to my room in a little over an hour! The Parkersville Best Western is in a nice location, near the Columbia River. After returning from the eclipse, I went on a hike at Cape Horn, the trail is only a 15 drive from this motel location. I slept well. and checked out in good order. All in all, it was a good stay!

This hotel seemed quite away from the freeway we were travelling across Washington. However we wanted to stay in this area and booked here at the BW Plus Parkersville Inn and Suites. Given the location and lack of nearby amenities, the price was a bit high. The hotel had a nice indoor pool and hot tub. The full breakfast was very good. This is a very nice Best Western hotel and is worth the visit. It is a bit out of the way with few restaurants nearby and not many further away. As the area develops, this will likely not be the case. We enjoyed our stay and the hotel's close proximity to the Colombia River. The development of a small park near the marina made the area appealing.

We booked with Best Western for two nights when we attended a wedding in the area. I was confident that this would be a good choice as I travel extensively for my work and I regularly stay at Best Western Hotels and Resorts. The first night was on my rewards program and I paid for the second night. The hotel and rooms were typically Best Western, modern, clean and comfortable. The kids loved the pool and the breakfast was excellent.

What can I say this is our second night here and have had keys that don't work, power has gone out, our room has a fire place that staff doesn't know how to work. TV is not working and when I finally got to speak to someone they hung up on me. Not a happy camper

Outstanding Inn. The staff is very helpful and the Inn is in very good condition. Rooms are very clean andcomfortable. The surrounding community has a new and beautiful walkway that starts right outside Inn and winds through community by river--very nice walk or bike ride !!! I highly recommend this Inn for a nice stay.

Traveling with work and found this pleasant surprise along the way. Comfortable room with a view out over the Columbia River. The room and staff were more the adequate. Will stay again when I'm in the area.

Nice helpful staff, easy access from fwy and easy 20 minute drive from airport nice location on Columbia River. Clean room, indoor swimming pool, workout area, business center with free computers good value. We will return next time we visit the area.

We were very satisfied with the accommodations, and would choose this Best Western Plus again, We were living in Vancouver when the building of the facility began, and the end result is very lovely, and stands above and beyond the expectations. It is easy to find, as long as you follow the directions of the round-about, and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good place to rest and relax.

Well, once you mastered the roundabouts to get there, it was close to our destination and certainly fit the bill for a nights stay. The room was clean and bed comfy. If there was one thing that all hotels should consider is the size of pillows.. those hotels with the tiny pillows make it difficult for support. The breakfast was above average and manageable.

Great place with such beautiful rooms! Nice areas to walk in the community and very quiet. his area, you must stay here. It is just a great place and so wonderful to utilize the river setting. Rooms are nicely appointed and up to date. Very helpful staff and the towns of Camas and Washougal are so close and nice to visit.

From the initial call of reservation to checkout, everything was beyond the expectation! You guys are doing a fabulous job at that location! Very well kept, ****CLEAN****, professional and friendly staff that went above and byond expectations.

Stayed one night as a more budget friendly option to a weekend Portland trip! The room was clean/quiet, bed was comfortable and room was well appointed. Hubby pointed out that the flat screen TV actually had all HD channels! The breakfast was standard for this type of property, busy, plentiful, predictable. Though this property is a BW Plus, there is no restaurant on site. The property over looks the river and is next to a nice public park with a good riverside walking trail. Unfortunately, the views of the river are obstructed by some incomplete construction that other guests posted photos of. Didn't trouble us as the beds were more important than the view!

Always a nice place to stay...I like it a lot more than most other Best Westerns that I've stayed at. Rooms are always nice, the internet wifi actually works well even if you're in a far away room. Staff are always very nice and professional.

I ended up arriving very late expecting issues with getting a room but instead was greeted with a very nice and clean room with very helpful front desk staff. I would be happy to stay again whether traveling for business or pleasure.

The staff are friendly but you are paying way to much for the very uncomfortable beds. The rooms are clean, but you are paying $200 a night for a bed that is not comfortable. The hotel has a nice lobby and breakfast.

Overall the hotel is clean, neat, and comfortable. Breakfast selections could use attention maintaining quality. On one morning no coffee was available. Maid staff went out of their way to make certain we were satisfied.

I was their for work but they made me feel like it was a vacation. They were always very helpful and friendly. I would stay here again. The breakfast was great and the fitness center and pool were very clean.

Staff was accommodating, there was a pool,sauna, hot tub, and mini mart. Breakfast was good & they offered a different entree the second day. They offered freshly baked chocolate chip cookies & a Grab & Go snack bags which included water, fruit, & granola bar.

Went to Washougal for a HS graduation party for family. Washougal is a mill town on the Columbia. Decent place but in no way a tourist mecca. Expedia rate of $172 for a "King suite" . There was a sofa and chair in addition to the king bed which, I guess, made it a "suite" but it was at least $50 overpriced for the location. Both the mattress and the pillows were harder than chicken lips and I ached all day afterwards. The breakfast was decent, the room was clean, the amenities up to snuff. It just wasn't in any way particularly special and when I start bumping up against $200 a night including taxes I am looking for upper class accomodations.

Every one at the front desk has very professional appearance and their smile welcomes you as you enter the motel. Even house keepers are wonderful I was intially going to stay 2 nights and extended my stay almost over a week. A wonderful place with wonderful people to stay one your family or business trips

Perfect location and view. Loved the walk way along the water with great view of the Mtn Hood. Took many pictures of the great view. The hotel staff are very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel. I will go there again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western hotel and it was a very clean, modern facility overlooking the Columbia River. We have relatives in the area and were visiting for a Birthday celebration. The hotel staff are exceptional and friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our requests. We will be staying there again. It's a very good value for the money.

My son and I were doing a staycation for one night and picked this hotel based on location and the pool. My son loves swimming pools. Arrival: The front desk staff were nice and gave us the high floor, river view that I had asked for so that was a plus. The room: The room was a good size, had two queen beds that were comfortable for an overnight stay. There was also a little sitting area by the window that was nice. The room had a nice large flat screen TV, fridge and microwave...so a good set up for a hotel room. The bathroom was a little bit small, I think they could have taken a little more of the bedroom and added it to the bathroom. The shower was good and the water pressure for a hotel was quite good. Overall the room was nice and comfortable. The pool: The pool was great my son loved it, we took two trip down to the pool and one trip down in the morning. When we got down there in the morning there were signs on the door to the pool saying it was closed. I noticed an employee (David) in the pool room cleaning the pool. I stepped in and asked him how long it would be and he said a long time. I think David noticed my son maybe looking a little happy and said go ahead and use it, no problem. My son who is autistic was thrilled that David would stop what he was doing and provide the most excellent customer service. My son enjoyed the pool and it was a great experience. Check out: The check out was a bit slow compared to most hotels, the "manager" was at the front desk, she appeared to be training someone. She started helping us check out but then the phone rang and she was all over the place trying to find the phone and tell the trainee what to do, a bit of a mess but finally we were able to check out. Overall an average stay but an excellent experience at the pool.

It was clean, check in was a bit slow. Hard to get to but quiet. The breakfast has a lot of food of average quality. I am pretty picky about breakfasts, and I was not a fan, but not bad either. Overall, a decent stay

I would recommend this place to anyone. Great customer service, cleanliness and amenities. I only stayed one night but between check-in and check-out the staff was very servicing. Quiet and convenient location for my business needs as well. Even with a lot of construction workers staying there, the floors were all kept clean. Large selection of breakfast, I would've liked the hot breakfast cooked a little differently but just a preference.

We've stayed at this BW a couple of times and each time I have found it to be clean and comfortable. The staff are all nice and helpful. The pool is clean and warmer than most indoor pools which is great with little kids. The breakfast was more than adequate and had many offerings.

Visiting family, comfortable clean nice place to stay very friendly. Airport close,good place to stay to see many destinations around Portland. Pool, workout area and not to mention the breakfast. Evening cookies!

The hotel was clean including the pool. The sauna was out of order which was disappointing. The bed was firm, but without a pillowtop you could feel all the springs in all the wrong places! As a Diamond Reward member we had requested well in advance for a 1pm check-out but were informed when verifying in the morning that we had to be out by 12:30pm at the latest. What was the point of making the request in writing as well as confirmed by phone several weeks in advance? Would we stay there again? Possibly, but we will be better prepared for what their expectations of guests are.

The hotel was clean.however, It had the bare minimum of amenities and not great ones at that. It was odd, the lobby had very little furniture, newspapers for sale! Rooms okay but bed lumpy and pillows very hard. A darling little town with some fun little restaurants For dinner and breakfast.

Location was well lit, very clean, staff is very helpful and friendly , would definitely stay here again , event the pool area was clean and very well kept , we loved that the river was right behind us so serene and very local

The room was clean, beds were comfortable, staff were courteous. Breakfast could have been better but since that was only one aspect of stay I didn't feel it was necessary to give a lower review. Near to Camas which has a quaint downtown area.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. Back side has a nice view of the Columbia River. Breakfast is great!!! Bathrooms a little small but everything is clean and up to date. Rooms are quiet at night. Nice pool, sauna, hot tub, exercise room. Located right next to new Washougal Waterfront Park with nice walking trails. I would stay here again and I recommend it.

The room was very nice. The bathroom was spa quality. If I had one complaint it would be the bed was like sleeping on a board, could use some memory foam. The Breakfast buffet was well stocked. They even had a to go bag if you wanted it which included fruit and a bottle of water.

Our stay here was very good. The price for the room was average. The staff was great and took care of any needs we had. Would recommend anyone looking to stay here. Breakfast was good and had a good selection of items to eat. They also had a grab bag of food when we left that was nice to have when we went to see the Water Falls. We will be back again.

We didn't have time to use the pool or hot tub but it looked OK...a little on the small side. The location was nice & conveniently located. It has a partial view of the Columbia river which is pretty but windy. We enjoyed our trip.

Excellent stay. We will come back to this one for sure. The hot tub was nice and hot. The pool was big and perfect temperature. The bed was perfect and nice and clean feeling. It smelled great and was so nice and clean. We loved the shower that it was easy to get into.

We have stayed here many times because of it's location. It has always been a good place to stay, but now it is even better under new ownership. A very good breakfast, pool and fitness room. The only issue is the sound of diesel trucks being started at 5:00 AM and left running to warm up the engines. These trucks belong to contractors staying at the hotel who park their trucks right next to the back of the hotel. Very loud and impossible to sleep.

Very clean rooms and decent service. Bed was very comfortable. Lady at the counter in the morning was a little rude but it didn't take away from the experience much. Just came here to get away for a little while. Nice little place to stay.

We experienced a very clean well kept hotel. The staff was very friendly. We would definitely stay here again. The breakfast bar was excellent with a very good variety. The food was warm and fresh. The breakfast attendant kept everything neat and clean and food was refreshed regularly.

Spouse and I enjoyed a Friday overnight getaway from Oregon side of the river. We haved stayed in BW's on three cross country drives recently, and this was one of the best. Feels new, nice room decor (compared to most that feel years since any updates), clean. Above all, quiet -- perhaps thanks to the calm, small village feel to Washougal. What a world away from overheated, clogged Portland.

Best Western at WAshougal is a pretty good hotel for stay. Their service was good. The hot tub and indoor swimming pool is an added advantage when you stay at the hotel. The breakfast was ok and the only issue I found was the items were not hot n fresh.

We thoroughly enjoyed our room. It had a fireplace, Jacuzzi tub, and view of the beautiful Columbia River. The staff was attentive and super friendly. Our room was spacious and well appointed. I would highly recommend this Best Western.

A wonderful place just to relax with access to all sorts of places to visit and enjoy. the breakfast bar is way above what one would find in any hotel that does not have a restaurant. The staff go out of their way to ensure that your stay is enjoyable.

Very nice staff, very nice breakfast, very nice clean room. Close to Multnomah Falls. We stayed here while on a family trip. The list of local restaurants was very helpful. Also the front desk printed directions for us to any place we wanted to go, which was also helpful.

I would stay here again if I was in the area. One of the benefits is that there is a park on the river next to the hotel. The park is a great viewing place to see Mt Hood and watch the boats. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was good.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel had a wonderful view, clean, amenity hours were convenient and breakfast buffet was the best that I have experienced. The location now has a park nearby that was walker/biker friendly also.

An OK place to stay while visiting the Columbia River Gorge. The room was nice, clean, the staff friendly and courteous. The bed was a slight bit hard/stiff but overall, a good night's sleep. Totally disappointed in the breakfast items. It was a lot of items of no nutritional value, such as waffles, bread items, bland-tasteless oatmeal, and the such like. No hot eggs, or anything of a "natural" food source, except a couple of apples and bananas. Not what I eat for breakfast.

Good if you are in the Washougal /Camas area but there are so many new hotels off SE 192nd Ave and SE 164th Ave a few miles away that give you lots more food, shopping and relaxation that I will choose them next time. The new ones are also in quiet areas but very close to anything you will need while traveling.

Room was perfect for what we needed. Two queen beds and sleeper sofa. Beds were comfortable room was clean and perfect location across from park entrance. Breakfast was ok. Used the pool first night kids loved it. We had a great time. Washer and dryer were added bonus great

Great service, and a nice, clean facility at an affordable price. The breakfast was more than we expected, and the front desk sent us off each day with a 'grab and go' snack bag. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Location was convenient from the highway and even with a highway facing room minimal noise. Very clean hotel and the morning breakfast was pretty fabulous. Very close to a beautiful sandy beach park on the Columbia River and not far from dining. Room came with a fridge and a microwave which was very handy for roadtripping and unpacking a cooler.

This is a great Best Western. Very nice staff and located right on the river. The rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. We had no issues while we were here. I would highly recommend this BW to anyone staying in the area.

The hotel looks pretty new, and was very clean. It was only about 15 minutes from airport, and put us in a great position to drive up the river on the Washington side, and be at the Oneonta Gorge before the crowds coming up the scenic highway in the other direction. Great choice if you are flying in late, as it is easy drive from airport, and rates are very reasonable. We had a view of a car dealership, so I can't speak of the lovely river views, but if this is something you want, I would call the hotel. It was perfect for our one night stay.

I love Best Western Plus, staff very friendly & helpful, rooms & hotel clean. Over all experience in this hotel was very satisfying and would stay in the best western plus hotels again for business or pleasure and would tell friends to do the same

Clean hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast, TERRIBLE LUMPY UNCOMFORTABLE BEDS. Great location to the event we were there to attend. The cinnamon waffles were delish.The eggs were just iffy. The pool and hot tub area were clean as was the gym area. The only problem was the beds. We both tossed & turned all night unable to get comfortable and woke up tired with sore backs.

I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the hotel is. We really had no idea what to expect since we stayed in a very small town just north of Portland for the Spartan race. Right when we walked in the chandelier in the entry is very impressive, everything was new and very clean. The staff got us checked in right away. They have an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna for guests to use. (we enjoyed a quick dip in the hot tub before bed). Our room faced the water which we really e I enjoyed our Continental breakfast the next morning, there was a lot of guests that morning and the staff was on top of replenishing the food for the guests.

This was our first visit on this side of the Columbia River so we weren't sure where to stay. Just by chance we stopped here to check it out. Very friendly and helpful at the front desk. She gave us a room with a river view which was really nice. A large & clean room with a great bathroom. Nice shower and bright lights in the sink area, a real plus. Great breakfast!! They offer so many items!! We will definitely be back here again!!

I visit the Portland area frequently for business. Since these are business trips the is a budget for the hotel rooms. Normally the rooms I get in the area are not clean. Best Western Plus was clean and had a nice atmosphere. The breakfast was great. It looks like there is some building going on out side to build a park by the lake. This is a beautiful place to be. I will defiantly be a frequent stayer.

This was a very nice hotel overall for a Best Western. My kids and I stayed one night on a road-trip. The staff were friendly and helpful and the pool area was better than a lot of these type of hotels. We had a room with 2 queen beds and a sofa. The only issue we had was the sofa was stained and gross and the hotel needs to pay better attention to this type of cleanliness and either make sure it's taken care of right away or remove/replace the piece of furniture. It's that simple. Because of this it was a damper on the room itself. Everything else was great.

Overall good experience. Bed very comfortable. If you have any special requests, such as river view room, I suggest you call hotel and do not do online. Breakfast god but did not start until 6:30am, a little late for travelers. Nice pool & spa. It has a sauna too but I did not use since there were children playing around in it.

I am a view fanatic, so making reservations to have a river view was a must (even though one isn't in the room to much). This Best Western sits just perfectly to get to everything in the area. Just a note: a full breakfast does not mean ordering whatever from a menu. But they did offer a good variety of things in their own private dining area (you don't have to leave the building). You can get biscuits and gravy to Yogurt, Oatmeal, fruits. Rooms were very clean, bed was a little harder than I prefer, but that's our preference we prefer softer.

This is a nice hotel with a great view on the Columbia River. There is a newly built park between the hotel and riverfront - nice place to walk, fish and/or picnic. There aren't many restaurants in Washougal, but Camas is just a few minutes away.

We absolutely loved this small town on the Columbia River and this Best Western was the icing on the cake of our stay. The motel was luxury inside with the most comfortable rooms and beds. The staff was accommodating to our every need and were gracious and friendly. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We did not have a ton of choices when staying in Washougal to visit family but I usually can always depend on Best Western's to deliver a good hotel. The hotel was great. Best hotel breakfast I've ever had and the ladies in the kitchen are awesome. The rooms are large, great for families. The front desk clerk, I wish I would have gotten her name, was amazing. She was kind and always did her best to meet any needs we had. This issue arose with the woman assistant manger. When we arrived I was at the front desk checking in and there was a woman in the lobby with luggage. She looked troubled. While the clerk was helping me there were two other women behind her chatting (one being the assistant manager). The woman approached the front desk and alerted the assistant manager that the person she was needing to get ahold of was trying to call in (the phone was ringing), it seemed urgent. The clerk was busy with my check in so rather than taking the call herself she told the woman that the phone can wait till the clerk was done with me. The woman almost started to cry you could tell the call was urgent. The assistant manger kept telling her she needed to wait her turn and that the phone had to wait. She wasn't doing anything why couldn't she take the call. Stuff like that bugs me. Our 2nd night, we heard loud noises coming from a maintenance room that was located next to us. It almost sounded like an off balance dryer or washer hitting the wall. We called front desk and they came up to check it out. They called us back right away and said there was some sort of pump that was making the noise. He apologized and asked if he could put us in another room. It was 2am and we have a 6 month old, a 5 year old and a ton of luggage, moving just wasn't an option. So he agreed to comp us the roll away we used for our oldest daughter for our troubles, which I thought was adequate. After check out, I noticed the hold on my credit card was for the amount with the roll away so I called the hotel. The assistant manager said she had no knowledge of the comp and that she knew everything that went on in her hotel. I asked her to please look into it. She gave me an attitude the whole time. She finally agreed to look into it and call me back that day. No call back ever and she proceeded to charge my card for the larger amount. I have yet to be able to get a hold of her. Not good business. She is the reason I didn't rate this hotel five stars.

We chose this hotel because of its close proximity to the Portland airport. It is also close to the city of Vancouver, Washington. The hotel lobby is nice, and the room was clean and comfortable. Refrigerator, microwave and breakfast included.

Quiet location, quiet rooms very relaxing. Helpful staff. I have stayed here several times over the last 6 months and the quality has been good every time. Somewhat removed from the downtown Vancouver area but access back to town is easy.

My wife & I have been going to this Best Western for 7 years now, 3-4 times a year for 2-3 days at a time. As we drive through Camus, the stress just rolls off, & then we see our 'home away from home' & know we're going to have a wonderful time. This hotel is always clean, the rooms are awesome, we always have 1 with the jacuzzi hot tub & it gets plenty of use. There's a lot to do in the area; we go into Vancouver each day, it's very close, & have our favorite places to eat, shop, & other activities. A large help is the excellent continental breakfast served, it's the best we've ever come across in our many years of travel & hotel stays. The combination of location, cleanliness, a great staff & the breakfast offered is what has kept us coming back to this Best Western, & we will continue to do so in the future. We haven't stayed in any other hotel since we found this 1, it's absolutely perfect for our needs!

This is the second time in the year we have stayed at this property while in the area to visit family. Both stays have been outstanding. The staff is awesome and the property is very well maintain, clean and the indoor pool is great.

Very clean, nice helpful people. We always try to stay at BW properties during our travels, and this one dose'nt disappoint. Very well maintained, very clean. Nice convenient access to the highway. Short walk to a very nice restaurant on the water. It's a floating restaurant!! Pretty cool. Watch for the Opsrey nest right outside their door!

We pulled in here after traveling all day and were greeted by a very nice lady at the front desk. The room was huge compared to other hotels we have stayed at. It was clean and well laid out. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub and loved the warm cookies at the front desk. The next morning the breakfast was wonderful and the variety was good.

Place was clean and everything seemed to work. Nothing out of the ordinary to make the place stand out, A bit over priced for just and average place to sleep. Some one needs to give the guy at the front desk some guidance on how to dress and look professional. Thought he may have been an imposter, and had the real staff tied up in the back room. Although he could have stood to shave, he did seem be good at what he was doing. ajust didn't look professional.

We spent 4 nights here & it was lovely. Quiet, GREAT breakfast (really good gravy) convenient to both Portland & Vancouver. Beautiful drive to see the Columbia river gorge, & the Multnomah Falls & a very interesting life-size reproduction of Stonehenge done as a tribute to WWI residents who died from that area. Shopping & good food close & view of the river. They are doing some construction behind it which looks to be maybe a marina or river walk (not sure) but it doesn't detract from the stay. The rooms are very comfortable & clean. Loved it & would return!

Our experience was good. The staff was excellent, and it was wonderful to have breakfast at the hotel. Only complaints were low lighting in shower and a hard, noisy bed. The staff was very responsive to the noisy bed, but not fixed. The hard bed was completely my preference for a softer cushion.

We booked our stay for 1 night (Saturday) online at bw.com and then decided to come a day early and spend two nights (Friday and Saturday). Called the hotel directly and was told "Great, not a problem.. you are going to get the same room that you requested (2 queen beds plus couch) at the same price of $125 per night..".. We get to the hotel and we get 1 King sized bed and sofa. With family of 5 we knew to bring our air mattress too which we had already talked to the hotel on a previous visit and was told it was not going to be an issue and were welcome to do so since our kids are 13 and under. It was good we did bring it since we got 1 bed. I sent my family too the pool and went down to talk to the front desk to see if we were going to have to change rooms Saturday since it was not the room I paid for or was told we were getting and to see if there was a price difference for the rooms. Was told we were fine staying in the room for both nights and that they could, and did, give us extra blankets and pillows. Was also told that we would be getting a small refund-few bucks back. We were happy with that.. Here it is a week later and have not seen any refund and really I don't care about the few bucks. We enjoy this hotel and have family there in town to visit so it is a good place for us to stay. But the experience as a whole leaves a bad taste in my mouth and is disappointing since I know we have had better transactions when we have booked and stayed there in the past.

Room was clean and the handicapped amenities were very helpful. I would have enjoyed a MUCH softer mattress! Breakfast was very good as well! The staff was friendly, professional and good looking. God bless America

Love this Best Western! My husband and I have stayed here 4 times now, and it never fails to be a wonderful experience. From the beautiful chandelier in the lobby for check-in with the lovely Tracey, to the super comfortable fitness area, which includes a carefully planned (and executed) large indoor swimming pool/hot tub/sauna/work-out room area, to the continental breakfast which again is in a roomy, nicely arranged area, we feel like royalty when we visit. We have stayed in Hilton and Marriott hotels but prefer this hotel by far! Don't forget to eat dinner at The Puffin, the restaurant across the parking lot, which floats on the Columbia! Awesome. We'll be back!

We were greeting by a friendly and efficient desk clerk (Heather), the room was spotless and supplied with what we needed. Housekeeping does a stellar job at this property! Breakfast was ample and good. Lots of room to enjoy the breakfast, and again, the dining room was clean and well-supplied. While we are dog-lovers, we did not appreciate another large group of guests who brought in their dogs to the dining area. It only happened once, so perhaps management reminded them of the basic sanitation rules in a dining area. We truly appreciate Robert Kavanagh for his kind and gracious personality and for making certain we had the room we asked for! We really wanted a "room with a view" since this visit was a return to an area where we enjoyed happy years and we wanted to be able to see the Columbia River and all the boats. Thanks Robert! This property is worth the visit, and is close to many scenic attractions, the staff is wonderful, and the facility is clean and well-maintained. Again, special thanks to the hard-working housekeeping team and to those who prepare the breakfast!

We haven't been there yet, and won't get there until mid-July. But my experience working with Robert on our reservations this morning makes me really excited about this trip. For my other half's 50th birthday, we are coming to go to the Motocross races - and after my experience with Robert and the great reviews I am reading - yep, I am quite excited! After staying at the Best Western @ Cascade Locks last year (on they way to the Oregon Coast) with a fantastic view I was willing to have us drive an extra 40 miles each way to go to the races - but thanks to everyone's review, I will be saving the other half a lot of extra driving time......lol

This property was a pleasant surprise for Washougal. The location is a plus and the desk clerks were excellent. Price was about as expected, the room was spacious, and the beds were fine. But... the couch in our mini-suite was filthy! Too bad. Almost excellent.

We traveled to Washougal, WA, from ND, to spend time with our daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, auntie, and great-aunt, who is in the final stages of colon cancer. The management & staff, of this hotel, were very understanding and kind and it meant a great deal to us. The facility is clean, the rooms and beds comfortable, and the breakfasts delicious! I would HIGHLY recommend them to any and all!

We stayed here several times over the past couple months. Our current stay we had the pleasure of Robert Kavanagh. He was very thorough kept asking if we needed anything. Robert was awesome to us. We stayed 2.4.16-2.6.16 in rooms 424 & 426. The last time we did stay our locks/door wouldn't shut but they worked on it right away. Even though the reason I needed to stay local to where I live was not the greatest my experience was! One rarely stays in a hotel 2 miles from home but I was pleasantly surprised. As a frequent traveler I tend to stay in brands that are considered above BW, but in this case the staff attentiveness and cleanliness where certainly noticeable. Robert at the front desk and Brandon the night guy made my stay great. They gave me a fair deal for an extended stay and always helped when I had questions or needed a towel in the mini gym. The breakfast repeated too often but that was a minor annoyance and a great amenity anyway. The view of the Columbia river was also spectacular. So if you find yourself in SW WA and want a small town on the water great value place to stay please do try the Best Western Parkersville Inn.

The room was good sized , very clean and fresh, no stuffiness. The breakfast was excellent with lots of variety- the fresh fruit was not the freshest, but the hot dishes were plentiful. Excellent overall for the price.

Robert, Chris and Jaya made our stay one of the best experiences I have ever had. The property was very clean, modern and well maintained. The breakfast was of high quality and selection. The room was great. We had the spa room and it had a fireplace which was a perfect touch. The staff could not do enough to ensure our stay was the best. Very impressed!

The Room was very clean. You have to use two TV remotes to work the system (they are in the middle of changing service providers) The pool, and hot tub were very good and clean. There was not a heavy chemical smell in the air for being an indoor pool. The eggs and sausage at breakfast sucked.

An excellent Best Western property in my opinion. Fairly new. I've stayed at many Best Western motels across the country, and this one ranks as one of the best. Fantastic staff. Very clean and comfortable place. Warm decor, great parking. Clean swimming pool as well and warm. Great amenities.The staff was outstanding, very pleasant and helpful and friendly. This was my 2nd time staying here. Definitely will return.

My daughter and grandchildren moved to Washougal a little over a year ago and this year she and her husband hosted Thanksgiving. I stayed at this Best Western and had a wonderful stay. Robert Kavanaugh, front desk manager, was ALWAYS smiling, helpful and cheerful. Every employee here smiled and helped, even on the holiday when I'm sure they would have rather been home. My room was clean and smelled nice. The gym was clean. I didn't swim but the pool looked well kept. Breakfast was good, 'though I don't eat much, and the attendants there were on top of keeping food and beverages stocked. I will definitely stay there again should the need arise.

We have used this hotel each Thanksgiving ever since it opened about six years ago. It is consistently friendly, clean and good value. The location is great, very close to the Columbia River and our daughter's residence.

Not all amenities worked, staff seem confused at time. Vancouver is better option to stay, only eighteen miles west of Washougal. Does have fairly good view of river. Our request of a lower room was not granted, staff stating it was not received, asked for room by elevator due to disability, this was not honored, put in room furthers away. Good enough place to stay if traveling thru, hotel is clean at least.

Severe wind storm closed the highway route to our destination hotel so we sought last minute refuge here. Staff was great, and they gave us government rate. Our second floor room faced the back. It was quiet, large, well lit, and the bed was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was ample and the location right off highway was good although you'll have to use your car to get to nearby restaurants. Solid four star rating.

We were in town for a family emergency and found the hotel to be accommodating, clean and comfortable in a convenient location. Even though we spent little time at the hotel, it was nice to have clean, comfortable accommodations for the night. We would definitely return.

The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning gave you several options from cold to hot. Nice variety. Checking in and out were real easy. WiFi was available but I did not take advantage of this as I was visiting in the area.

We visit this hotel 3-4 times a year, & are never disappointed with the service, room, or any other part of our stay. Wonderful staff, the best breakfast we've ever seen & great location has made this our favorite place to stay, & the only 1 we visit for over 5 years now. Highly recommend!!

Everything about this hotel suggested to me that the decorating and design was done by someone more used to furnishing middle class houses than hotels. The light fixtures (with a notable exception looming over the lobby) are models found in moderate new construction everywhere. The paint colors and combinations are really nice - I say that because they remind me of home. The framed wall accents are inexpensive but well-coordinated. The room was really pretty - looking around made me *feel* comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the linens nice. Is this all okay? Sure, absolutely, but a few things jumped out as not desirable for a hotel. There are few outlets and no USB charging station. The TV is only visible from the bed and not the sitting area. The couch and chair in the sitting area look nice, but are very hard. And, oddly enough, the window opens all the way. The biggest issue I had with the room, by far, was the design of the bathroom. It is so small that the toilet very nearly blocks the door. Picture the door opening and missing the end of the bowl by two inches or less. Getting in and out of the bathroom would be very difficult for very large or impaired individuals. I am neither, but to close the door I had to stand in a narrow area between the nice granite counter and the toilet. Otherwise, the bathroom had great water pressure and the shower was done in slab granite which was neat. Counter surfaces were all granite. The floor was good slate. The TV reception was very low definition, suggesting a digital signal spread too thin. I still watched part of a movie with dinosaurs and scientists and amusement parks, and it was fine. Channel selection was average. Wifi was fast. Room service is Domino's - that is what the key card says, but this hotel is in Washougal, so no points are lost. Breakfast was pretty darned good. A small selection of scrambled egg patties and sausage (great with sriracha sauce), potatoes, oatmeal, the usual make your own waffles, plus biscuits and gravy (looked good, but I want to fit in that bathroom above), cereal, etc. The breakfast room was clean and well-attended. I do wonder if the hotel was full how many guests would be eating in the lobby. Checking in and out we found a "back in 5 minutes" sign on the desk. No big deal, I figured because this property is a little ahead of its host community, so there might not be enough occupancy to support a robust staff. Yet. The young lady who checked us in (and gave us our elite amenity) was real friendly and nice. Checking out was so quick I failed to make an impression. Find yourself in Washougal, this is probably the best place to stay.

We stayed two nights to visit the Columbia River Gorge as it was cheaper than staying on the Oregon side and not far to travel. We found we could hear the trucks on Highway 14, but doubt this would be a problem with rooms at the back. The hotel is very clean and appears to be new, The staff were friendly and check in was quick and easy. Complimentary breakfast was good and there is ample free parking. There is a huge amazing chandelier in the lobby. The sunset over the marina at the back of the hotel was worth watching and we enjoyed a couple of hours at Steigerwald Wildlife Reserve which is just down the road.

This was our third stay here and always find it to be quiet and trouble-free. Friendly and professional personnel, nice breakfast and quiet well appointed rooms. My only problem this time was a few stray hairs in the sink when we arrived. Other then that another perfect stay.

This property is very new and clean. The location is deceptively quiet. The lobby is lovely and welcoming and the staff are very accommodating. The first room we were checked into was 322, the beds in this room were TERRIBLE, they were completely broken down and sagged in the middle, they made an awful protesting noise whenever you moved on them. When I reported to the desk clerk we were moved to room 413 which was much better. The beds were super firm, more than I would have liked but better firm than sagged! The amenities were top-notch; a nice pool, hot tub, sauna and air-conditioned fitness room. There was coffee and fresh baked cookies available in the lobby for check in, very welcoming. The hotel was full on our second night and still quiet, a testament to how well built and thought out the property was, with a definite eye toward guest comfort. It was very easy to get to, convenient on/off the highway, and we had a nice view of the Columbia river- yes there was a building in the way, but we could still see the water from the 4th floor. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic, so many choices and everything was fresh and clean, the fact that it started at 6:30 was very handy!

We stayed in the hotel for 2 days on the way to Seattle and we were not impressed. First of all the hotel is located in an industrial area. In 2-3 miles from the hotel there is a plant or a factory that smelled unpleasant when we were passing by. Fortunately wind blew to different direction so that no smell was around hotel. Both evenings when we came back we found the hotel parking on the back was full of heavy trucks. They did not bother us but it made the hotel less attractable. The room that we stayed had a big stain by the refrigerator. Another issue was a sauna that we anticipated to take after our long hike day. It did not really work properly. It was just slightly warm. The only one coil was up. The rocks on the heater should be replaced. Some of them turned to sand. I lived a few months in Scandinavia and I know how the people value the sauna. In general, the service and a sleep quality were predictably standard and great for the BW hotel branch. However, for the price that we payed I would expect better accommodations.

We could see the river from our window as well as an unfinshed building that was here last year when we stopped by. We were visiting family living in Camas. The room was comfortable and the a/c worked great. The 3-11 p.m. staff member was great. I took a swim in the inside pool. They had a washer and dryer available for a dollar each which I took advantage of. We also appreciated the freezer in the refrigerator for our blue ice. One weird thing is they don't have access to any Public TV channels on their TV list. Darn, we're close to Portland...what gives?
