The BEST WESTERN hotel Syracuse is located by the sea in Villeneuve-Loubet, next to the Marina Baie des Anges port, its pubs, restaurants and various little shops, 3 km from the famous Marineland sea park, 1 km from Villeneuve-Loubet plage train station and 8 km from Nice Côte d'Azur airport. It enjoys thus a strategic location right in the heart of the French Riviera, between Nice (12 km) and Cannes (20 km), going through Antibes (5 km), and represents and ideal pied-à-terre for you to enjoy the beauties of this amazing area, or for your business trips. There you will find at your disposal a business corner with a computer connected to the Internet and a printer. You will also enjoy a free of charge wifi connexion, a private car park (additional cost), a private access to the beach (gate opening with a code), and a breakfast service, in the breakfast room (continental buffet) or in your room. All the rooms have been lately renovated and are air conditioned. They are equipped with a flat screen television receiving satellite channels, a telephone, an alarm clock, a safe, and a private bathroom separated from toilets, and proposing a hair drier, a towels drier, and a shower (standard rooms) or a bathtub (comfort, superior, family and privilege rooms). The seaside rooms are also enjoying a terrace or a balcony, as well as the privilege rooms, which are exceptionally located right behind the sea, and the terrace of which offers sunbeds allowing you to relax while admiring a breathtaking panorama. It will be a great pleasure for the multilingual, welcoming and attentive staff of our reception, open 24/7, to answer all your questions during your stay, for it to be as pleasant as possible. We will for instance book taxis, tours and thalassotherapy care, or rent a car for you. So do not hesitate and come and visit us: we are waiting for you! Enjoy your stay.

« Beach view rooms are excellent »

We had booked room on 1st floor, beach view. The view was excellent. It was very refreshing to be at room & see the sea even lying on your bed. Breakfast was also very delicious & a great place to stay if u want to be at the beach as much time you want. A convenient stay.

« Perfect location for the beach »

Perfect location for the beach. And walking distance to all kinds of restaurants, as well as the huge Geant supermarket where you can buy everything you desire, including gourmet food :) The rooms are nice and full of light, my room faced the street, not the sea, but it was no problem, it was not noisy since the street has a limit of 30km, so cars go slowly, and there was not much traffic at all. The ladies at reception were super nice and helpful. The location is really great, both for relaxing on the beach, and for visiting Nice and Antibes and all the Cote d'Azur. The beach by the hotel has pebbles, not sand, but it is a lovely beach, and the water is warm and very clear. A great beach for relaxing

    « Super localisation »

Nice holiday in nice hotel, near beach, delicious breakfast, rooms clean and quietly. Also there are many restaurants and near the port. Willingly come here yet. Recommend for families?? Near Nice and Cannes ??

« We really liked it and the staff were fab »

We were really pleased with this hotel and thought it as good value. We stayed for 2 nights and loved our room. It was a good size for us and our son and it was clean and modern. We were at the back overlooking the carpark, so it was quiet. We also used the access to the beach. The staff were lovely and so helpful and friendly. The lcation was great, next to the (pebble) beach, near to the marina. There are lots of restaurants and a supermarket at the marina. It is a 10 minute walk to the train station.

« Not what we expected! »

The hotel feels like a small carton. The rooms are small and you hear every sound from The street, corridor and other rooms. Our room had a separate toilet, it was so small that the door could not be closed. It's near the beach. Parking cost extra. It was clean but not cozy or nice.

    « Comfortable 3 star hotel »

We booked this hotel online without any difficulty. We had a room overlooking the pebble beach and sea which was a bit more expensive but was very comfortable. The room has its own patio with table and chairs and sunbeds. We had a walk-in wardrobe. Bathroom basic but ok. Direct access to beach through a closed gate with code. Wifi reception very slow unfortunately but the signal is better in reception. Motorway restaurants have better reception. We specifically chose a 3 star hotel on the French Riviera, not wanting to be among the "rich and famous" in Nice or Cannes. Expectations can in this case not be as high as in a 5 star hotel. This hotel just has a breakfast room but no restaurant. Small menus can be ordered through reception and come in a large screw-topped jar! Not bad if you don't fancy going out for a change. The hotel does not have its own private beach or sunbeds so bring your own. The beach was not too crowded even though we were here in July. It is very international here and people in the hotel and restaurants nearby are very friendly. There are a lot of restaurants within walking distance and the food is great. There are some supermarkets quite close where you can buy beach equipment, shoes suitable for a pebble beach etc. The closest is on the marina Baie des Anges, just about 5 minutes walk. We found out that quite a few guests book a room and do their own catering. Outside the tourist areas we found the people not very helpful or friendly. Native drivers are most impatient and will sound the horn frequently if they think you're not driving fast enough. They overtake on both sides, so watch out! Can be dangerous.

    « Didn't meet expectations »

Looked at the pictures, read the texts about free wifi and thought it looked good. Arrived and found that the dominating feature of the hotel was it's parking lot. The room was not cosy at all and resembled a prison rather than a hotel. The floor was outright dirty and there was a faint smell of mold in the room. Asked the staff to mop the floor, but it was just as dirty the next day so I'm not sure they bothered. The free wifi didn't work in my room since the hotel was too cheap to install a router in my building, instead they relied on the signal from the main building. When I pointed this out they told me to try from the terrace of the room. That did work but rather poorly. I was very disappointed. The only good things was the proximity to the beach (less than 100 m) and the small kitchenette.

« Basic three-star hotel with sea views »

Guests have the option of staying in the hotel or paying a little extra for superior bungalows on the beach side of the hotel car park. The reception area is very clean and the reception staff are very friendly. The building itself looks la little dated. Surprisingly, in some of the toilet areas there was evidence of chipped tiles and cracked sanitary ware, and some of the interior doors required a fresh coat of paint. The best bedrooms are those with balconies that have a sea view. There is direct access to the beach. A daily charge is levied to park your car in the hotel's open-air car park. There are a few shops and plenty of restaurants nearby. The train station and bus stop are a short 1km walk away. The hotel grounds are quite basic and consist of just a car park. It is a good stopping -off point from where you might like to explore the French Riviera, but facilities at this hotel are quite limited, just like the wi-fi.

« Great hotel close to Nice and the airport »

Excellent location. Beach in front of the hotel. Clean and comfortable room. Restaurants near by. Easy to get to Nice and other destinations. Staff friendly and helpful. Only negatives are that internet does not require password and smoking is allowed on balconies. Cigar smoke ruined a beautiful evening.

« Great place. Away from the hustle and bustle of main street traffic. »

Great room with kitchen and nice closet for long says. Separate rooms for the toilet and showing room. Nice TV. Nice bed. Well decorated. The Wifi is weak in the room but great in the lobby. Helpful people at the front desk. The night guy doesn't speak english but work it out best he can. He helped my find the right train at the right time and put forth much effort in helping me.

« Great Hotel during Cannes Film Festival »

We stayed for four nights during the opening weekend of the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. The hotel was an easy walk from the train station, and an even easier walk from the bus stop so you could hop off the train and onto a bus if you were extra tired. The hotel staff was all excellent and friendly, offering advice as to the best local places to eat, and more importantly which ones to avoid. At check in we were provided a map of the local area and all the best restaurants were circled as well as the grocery store, bus and train locations, etc. We felt very welcomed. We loved how close the grocery store was and we had an amazing room (107 if I remember) with a wraparound balcony and full view of the ocean that we ate most of our dinners on. The pastries and bread at both of the local grocery stores we tried were amazing. As was the selection of wine. The bed in the room was very comfortable, and the sitting area sofa was the most comfortable piece of furniture I have ever sat on in a Best Western anywhere. There was a small kitchen area with a hot plate and refrigerator, (we did not cook but used the refrigerator a lot to store food from the grocery store.) The closet was nice sized and perfect for unpacking for a week stay. We had formal and business wear, as well as casual attire, so we had a lot to unpack, and it all fit. For what we got, we thought the room was a total bargain and we look forward to staying there again next year. Housekeeping kept the room nice and clean the entire stay, and we had a lovely time. We used the business center computer each night to check emails and the internet was very fast. Our iPads also worked with their hotel wifi with no problem as well. For those of you who are specifically interested in staying during the festival, we had no problem getting trains in time for early morning events, and trains home at night. Only one night when we stayed super late on the Croisette did we miss the last train, but a Mercedes taxi was under 40 Euros, which we found reasonable, given the circumstances. We saved a lot of money staying at this hotel during Cannes which we were able to spend on meals and other experiences.

« Friendly and Helpful staff »

We arrived late in the evening, the staff was all ready with every thing we need to check in. it hardly took few minutes to check into the hotel. special thanks to Evelyn for all the help and support she provided to us, We had a wonderful time in this hotel.

« Excellent base to explore Cote d'Azur »

The hotel's location is excellent, it has a short distance to the motorway. The hotel courtyard has a quiet and secure parking. The beach is right next to the hotel. Reception staff is friendly and professional. The hotel's beach house rooms are worn and in need of some restoration. The room has a kitchenette, but no other utensils than two mugs. Breakfast is quite minimal and does not contain any fresh fruit or vegetables. We stayed from monday to friday and wi-fi did not work at all. That was a shame, because all information is on internet not to mention Whatsapp and e-mail. Fortunately there is one computer in the breakfast room and we could use it for important issues. This is nice hotel for beach life and for base to explore Cote d'Azur. Ja sama kotimaisella: Tähän hotelliin on kätevä tulla, auto mahtuu turvallisesti aidattuun pihaan eikä linja-autopysäkillekään ole pitkä matka. Ranta on vieressä ja uimakaudella varsinkin hotellin rantatalo on kyllä sijainniltaan loistava. Respassa on ystävällisiä tyttöjä ja he kyllä yrittivät selvittää nettiongelmaa koko viikon onnistumatta. Ilmeisesti langaton netti on tökkinyt hotellissa jo kauemminkin.

« Exellent starting point for exploring Cote 'dAzur »

The hotel has londerful location if you want to travel around all Cote d'Azur. Located in quiet nice town literally on the beach and near by local marina with lots of restaurans, bars and bakery. Rooms are with balconys and kitchen box, staff is helpful and frendly. There is a big supermarket nearby. For dinner I recomend restaurant Santa Lucia

« Lovely hotel with amazing sea view »

Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tidy and the balcony was perfect for sitting out eating breakfast or having a drink of an evening with the view of the sea and the sound of the waves. Only a ten minute drive from Nice airport and close to the train station/ bus stops for travel into Cannes, Monte Carlo and Monaco. Also only a short walk from lovely local restaurants and supermarket that has everything you need ! Beautiful harbour and surroundings and also only a few stops on the train to the water park, which however is only open from 13 June to 06 September and we had arrived just after ! Check in is normally 3pm but as we arrived around 11am we were able to check in early which was really helpful. Couldn't fault it !!

« A nice hotel with direct access to the beach »

We stay in Best Western Syracuse for 3 nights in a Sea View room with a balcony. It was really enjoyable. There are lots of restaurants near the hotel. The hotel is very clean. Compare with other so called 3 star hotels, this one is much better.

« Close to the beach, but that's it. »

We booked the bungalows, got number 41 to be exact. This was a dump. Gastly bathroom! The reseptionist was very helpful and managed to change us to the main buliding. Rooms here were better, but very small for a 4 person family. So at least we had the beach. After the first hour 10 people were stung by jellyfish, so swimming became impossible. Had booked for 2 nights, but managed to cancel after 1. Thanks to the same helpful girl in the reseption.

« The only good thing about this hotel is it's view. »

Hotel is mediocre at best. Very plain basic rooms. Not the cleanest. Polite and helpful receptionist. This hotel is similar to a $50 motel in the USA but because of the location the price is much higher.

    « Very nice hotel »

Good location - near to the beach and close to all the amenities. Good facilities and nice clean room. Friendly helpful staff and a good continental breakfast service. I would be happy to visit here again.

« 5 star for price, convenience, location and cleanliness »

We were on a long road trip from Carcassonne to Florence and pulled off the freeway at this town to see if we could find some place to stay. We parked the car and basically walked around a bit and saw the Best Western sign. We went in and asked about availability and they gave us a room. It turned out to be an extremely nice surprise as the room we were given was not in the main building, but in a one story building of rooms right on the beach. Right outside our back door we had a private patio. The whole place is fenced in so all you had to do was go out the gate with a code. The sunset that night was spectacular. The room was set up like a little studio with a separate bedroom from the kitchen area. It was tastefully decorated and clean and fairly large. It was terribly convenient for walking along the beach, strolling around the town and shopping. There was banking and gas at a nearby Geante Casino store. Oh, and the price was a bargain at less than €100 because the manager gave us a deal because it was off season. This hotel wouldn't be rated as a 5 star luxury hotel by the hotel rating guide, but for us it was a 5 star experience. We absolutely would stay there again. Maybe even for a couple of days. It was awesome

« Good accommodation but noisy »

Stayed over to catch early flight from NICE. Would have got more sleep in the airport. Noise from other rooms reverberated throughout and noise from outside until 4AM. Handy for airport and local Thai restaurant was very good. Great service but everything spoiled by noise
