« A little gem in the heart of Varna »

Pros: 7-8 minutes away from the beach by foot. Comfortable big bed, useful AC, change of towels every day, smiling and friendly staff, free fast Wi-Fi. The breakfast was perfect for us, many salted options, fruits, muesli. Free big bottle of water in the room. Tea and coffee amenities in room. Our room was next to the elevator, but wasn't any noise. We definitely would stay again! Minus: The door in the bathroom is very difficult to be opened and closed. Some noise from the street due to a small shop in front. But if you close the window everything is OK.

    « Seven Week Hoiday »

We stayed at Best Western for the whole time. The room was clean and well appointed, the bathroom excellent and the breakfasts excellent. The hotel excellent right next to the park and only about 300 metres from the two big pedestrian malls.

    « Adequate, good location »

This hotel is in a good location in Varna, close to the main pedestrian area with shops and restaurants and sea gardens, beach a short walk away. Quite hard to find as it is in a small backstreet which even the locals did not know about. Would I stay here again, probably not.

« Nicely placed for the town or beach »

This hotel is welll located for the town centre or beach. The rooms are clean and roomy. Breakfast is served in the foyer and there is a cooked option. The staff are very polite and there is a laundry service. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant there are many excellent(and inexpensive ) restaurants nearby.Make sure you try Bulgarian wines super value!

    « Great hotel »

Have just come back from varna stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The location is fantastic just a short walk away from shops bars restaurants the beach. The staff are lovely very helpful and nice. The hotel is spotlessly clean and rooms are cleaned every day breakfast is continental style but you can have a cooked breakfast if required. This hotel is excellent value for money and I certainly would stay there again.

« Okish with great location »

The hotel has a superb location, a few meters away from Varna's sea garden and walking distance to the main street that leads to the sea. Hotel, however, is very tired and stinks of cigarettes. We tried to change room but this was the case everywhere. The lady at the reception was little interested in our comments about the smell. Room was large and comfortable, but the carpet and furniture need some refreshing. Internet was good. Bed were very soft but still we had a good sleep/ Although prices for accommodations in Varna are high, we felt that the hotel wasn't worth the price we paid.

« Mini hotel with maxi mini bar »

This hotel is TINY & nondescript from the outside. We almost passed it up! And there is no parking available in the narrow street. We had to pull into a nearby drive way and carry our luggage to the hotel down the block. Also there are steps to the front door not even a ramp! The small lobby is nicely decorated and we were greeted in a friendly fashion by the female attendant the reception desk. She did speak English which was a welcomed relief after 7 hour drive from Romania. Unfortunately that was the high light of our stay. The elevator although indicating it was suitable for four people was TINY!! So tiny that we had to take our luggage upstairs in 2 trips!!! My wife went first with carry-on then I followed with suitcase (something re-experienced when we left) . As I exited the elevator I found my wife outside in the narrow hallway with the luggage. Seemed that a group from another room had come out and because the hallway was so narrow there was a log jam!!! We shifted to the side to allow the party to squeeze by! The room was adequate but small. The first thing that hit us was the dirty stained carpet. Also the TV was small. The bathroom was dimly lit which made it impossible for my wife to put her make up on or for me to shave (I discovered once outside that I had missed spots on my face. Despite their stating that the front desk can convert currency that turned out not to be the case. In fact when we asked the clerk (same one from when we arrived) not only did she say that was unavailable but didn't know where a nearby ATM machine was! She only directed us to "some where in the district". We had to roam the neighborhood until we stumbled upon one accidentally about 4 blocks away. The following morning we went downstairs for breakfast (which was to be included in the price) only find out that buffet/self serve breakfast was being made available in the LOBBY!!!! The very same small lobby!!! 3 tables were designated in the corner of the lobby as the breakfast area!! We took one glance and decided no way! Also the hotel's "bar" was a small space to the right side of the reception counter! It was as if someone put some bottles on the nearby shelf and as an after thought decided to call it "the bar'! We had selected this hotel because of the Best Western brand but unfortunately not only will not stay there again but cannot recommend it. The only benefit we found was the location!

    « Fantastic central hotel »

This is an excellant hotel in the center on Varna very close to the beach and all its bars and restuarants as well as the town. The lovely sea gardens are just across from the hotel and yet the location was so peaceful. The staff were very helpful and made you feel welcome. The room had everything you could want and was very clean with great decor throughout the hotel. The breakfast was great and catered for all tastes.Great value hotel and one i would definately recommend.

« Budget hotel in the center »

Perfect located in the center of Varna, 5 minutes far from the park, sea and center, many good restaurants around. Cheap but quality is good. Very nice people work in that place. Will recommend for everybody.

« great placeto stay in the city »

we spent a week in the hotel next door to the sea gardens and the city the hotel was nice , clean , warm plus the staff are very good and can not do enough for you , the only down side was we booked a taxi and the taxi driver got lost ???? but it had nothing to do with the hotel, the hotel is very close to all the bars and restaurants plus the beach so all in all a great place to stay.
