Best Western Plus Vancouver Mall Dr. Hotel & Suites

We were in town for a medical procedure & chose this Best Western as a home-base for the duration based on its location and our choice of Best Western for all our hotel-stays We have been using Best Western for several years now & will continue.

The hotel is located near the mall and is near restaurant in the area. The hotel has a wonderful breakfast daily that has eggs, biscuits and gravy, meat like sausage or bacon, waffles and coffee. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the staff is nice and polite.

My stay was at Best Western was great. The service was was excellent and all my needs were met. I love swimming so, I made use of the indoor pool everyday for the length of my stay. It was clean and well maintained. Every morning the hotel offered a full breakfast. I was staying at the motel for work and had to leave every morning at 6:30. I was able to grab some breakfast before having to head out for the day. They offered a good variety of breakfast items. It was pretty good. I would recommend this motel to everyone. It will be the motel I stay at on my next business trip.

The beds could use updating but the staff's customer service is outstanding. Everything was comfortable and easy. Location is great and the kids loved the pool. I appreciate the laundry room availability. We will be repeat customers

Check in was a breeze and the people working from check in to maintenance to maids are friendly and nice. Breakfast has gluten free options and that makes my life easier. I enjoyed using the lobby to conduct a visit with a colleague and the coffee machine in the lobby is unique and neat.

I was overly tired and stressed from driving in from a snow storm with multiple accidents traveling alone scared & upset and the staff made me feel safe warm and welcome. The hotel was very clean lots of guests in and out as I arrived and they all seemed very happy with the staff as well. I would definitely suggest a stay at best western Vancouver.

The staff is great, but the area isn't. The free breakfast was above most hotels I've stayed at with a decent variety of fresh food. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but the WiFi is barely adequate.

Very nice rooms, clean and comfortable. We used the fitness facility and the pool are and found both areas useful. Breakfast had plenty of options and there was enough seating. The property location worked out great for our needs.

The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood and Tina gave us a room with a view to the West. Lovely indoor pool and jacuzzi. I definitely will stay here again for sure. My only issue is Fox News was constantly on the lobby television, which I believe is a requirement. But I got her to mute the sound while drinking my first cup of coffee at 5:30 in the lobby.

Great place, clean, good breakfast, comfortable and they accept pets! Friendly staff clean grounds and common areas, lighted parking. These are the Best mattresses I have ever found in any Hotel chain.

The best thing about hotel was Breakfast, cleanliness in and around property. Location is good, but quite. This is what you expect after day's tiredness. I will recommend this Hotel for value of money for the ammenities. Oh Yes! We enjoyed hot tub and pool too.

It was a pleasure to stay and play at this fine establishment. Lots to do locally and kiddos had a blast as did I. Memories made for sure. Would definitely stay again and again. We don't get to do these things often but when we do we always look for a Best Western.

It's a hotel. A place to sleep and shower. Rooms are quiet, hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is okay. Common carpet areas could use some tlc. Pool, hot tub, sauna are in working order. Free parking and pet friendly.

The staff here is awesome. We had a special circumstance with a family friend who's son went into the hospital nearby and the staff was so helpful in ensuring a room was available. They made special notes in our reservation and then delivered on those requests. Highly recommend!

The staff was friendly and helpful. I planned to use the fitness room, but didn't - though it looked decent. Check in & out was smooth. Enjoyed the sauna & pool before bed and to start my morning. Didn't have breakfast but looked like others enjoyed it.

I booked a 2 queen suite for 3 nights months in advance of my stay. Upon arrival 7-19-23 I was given a single queen handicap room. I brought this to the attention of the lady working at the front desk. Initially she told me I was wrong and booked a single queen. I gave her proof of my reservation that stated a 2 queen suite. She then informed me that they were full and could not provide the room that I reserved but promised the next day they would get me in a 2 queen suite. The next day 7-20-23 came and I was again told the same thing that they were full and could not provide the 2 queen room BUT again promised the next day it would be handled. The following day 7-21-23 came and guess what, I was told the same thing that they were once again full and could not provide the correct room. My whole 3 Nighy stay was spent in a single queen instead of a double queen that I reserved. I spoke with the Emma who claims to be the general manager of the location and requested a refund for my whole stay. Emma states she can only refund me for one night and anything more than that has to be approved by her supervisor. Emma claims she called and texted her supervisor but they never get back to her. This is where it gets interesting! I called another best western nearby and spoke with the manager there to ask some questions about best western management. The manager at the other location said that any manager has the authority to refund whatever they want and also told me that there is no supervisor above the general manager. It is the owner, general manager and works its way down. He also told me that the Vancouver Mall location is looking for a general manager currently! I don't think Emma is who she claims to be! Lies lies lies and more lies! I would love to speak with the owner of this location at Vancouver Mall best western! Do not stay here by all means!

Arrived at late night but the checking in was one of the most efficient ones. Booked a 2 king suite, and the room is spacious to host 5 people. The most impressive thing is how friendly the front desk lady is. Iam really thankful to her help to accommodate all our requests.

We stayed one night for an All Star Baseball tournament. The hotel was clean, Large Breakfast and good with good choices, Room Clean and comfortable, Pool fine with sauna. Near a shopping mall. Location at little iffy with homeless. Price was too high I thought $245 a night. Room was nothing special. No group discount. No reward for BW members.

Expresso/Cocoa machine in the lobby was a nice touch. Room was large with 2 Q beds. Bathroom sink outside of toilet/shower, which was convenient. Desk staff friendly and helpful. Hot breakfast was adequate - better than most, although not unforgettable. Blueberry waffle option was nice. Central location for touring the Vancouver area.

Nice property and close to mall and dining. I appreciated the well appointed rooms and I really liked the in room Jet tub. That was a welcome treat after a long day of traveling. TV viewing selection could have been better but I wasnt there for that anyway. The staff members were friendly and attentive. I will come here again for sure.

The room was clean. The bed was fresh and very comfortable. The staff very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. My goodness Vancouver is beautiful this time of year as was reflected in the landscape at BW. The air was fresh with the scent of blooming trees, shrubs and flowers.

We have stayed at this BW several times when we come into town to visit family. The staff very friendly. Continental breakfast is your normal fare, but stays well stocked and constant tidying.The rooms/beds are comfortable. We love using the pool when the grandkids come over for a visit. The BW is very close to Vancouver mall. Location is easy to get around town and to go into Portland.

We had a king suite. It was perfect for my wife and I and our two small dogs. We were a few short minutes from the family we came to visit so the location was perfect. We enjoyed a great breakfast ever morning and everyone e was pleasant a d friendly. We will be back in spring g or summer.

At 1am, I personally reported a noise complaint to the front desk attendant. Several guests were loud and intoxicated and were unable to open their doors. The front desk attendant was alone and unable to resolve the issue. Finally at 2am, a manager showed up and resolved the issue. At check out, this same manager apologized and said it wouldn't happen next time. There wouldn't be a next time for me due to the poor service I received.

I want to commend Manager Tara Reyes for her service "Above and Beyond" expectations: I had stayed the night before, and I had an important online presentation to make, around noon (after checkout time for the room) to about 35 people. Tara opened the staff conference room to me, which allowed the presentation to happen flawlessly with superb Wi-Fi. Thanks again!

Stayed here in January 2023. The staff was very nice, everything was clean and in good working order. The bed was very comfy. The breakfast was fine, everything was clean, food was hot when needed and there was enough variety that all should be satisfied. Other than some really rude people in the next room who slammed the doors a dozen times then allowed their children to scream for almost two hours it was great.

Be forewarned..... they place an extra $150 hold on to your card even for a $100 room. Everything else about the hotel is delightful. The room is clean and fresh and comfortable, the pool is amazing, along with a hot tub and sauna. However I travel nationwide frequently and even the very best hotels from Hilton to Hyatt and up put only usually a $50 hold on a room. I have never ever heard of a $150 tack on to my credit card payment for one night. Thank God that does not hurt me right now. but there have been weeks with lots of travel where I was running on a tight budget and this would have been disastrous. In addition I was not told about this additional charge upon checking in. it came as a notice text from my bank after checking out. Considering this is a hotel with no extra services, no room service, I don't understand what type of incidental charges this could represent, aside from trashing a room. And that would cost a lot more than a $150!!!!! I highly advise the owners to reconsider this policy.

Great place to stay for he money. Really good service, breakfast and pool. There was also a hot tub that was a welcomed amenity. Pet friendly too, lots of places to let out our dog to do her business. Would highly recommend.

Excellent location and a very nice choice especially when traveling with dogs. Room was spacious and comfortable. Good area to get out for a walk with the pups. Seems all the pets are on the second floor with good access to stairs and elevator.

Room was clean. Front desk staff was polite, friendly and helpful. Breakfast area was clean with lots of choices for breakfast. Desk staff let me park my motorcycle under the cover at the front entrance which eliminated the issues in the morning with a dew covered motorcycle while also giving extra security.

Visiting from out of town and have stayed here before. Excellent place to stay the service was great and all the staff where vey professional and caring. The room was great and very clean and lots of room. The breakfast has a lot of options very clean and inviting. They even has soy milk for my coffee. I would recommend this to my family and friends great place to stay!!!

The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the beds were comfortable! The breakfast was wonderful, with a great selection of food and beverages. Parking was convenient, and the hotel was pet friendly. We will definitely stay again!

I am really not sure why this is rated #1, but I have nothing else in Vancouver to compare it to. The room was comfortable, but smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The wi-fi was slow when it worked. There were many breakfast options and it was free.

Near the mall; clean rooms; great breakfasts; friendly staff; comfortable beds; reasonable price. I've stayed here a few times and have always had a positive experience. The rooms are spacious and quiet.

Checkin was very easy, room was very clean. By mall, lots if places to eat near by. Freeway 1 block away- could not hear it in the room. If you have a dog nice area to walk it in grass. Pool/gym nice.

We had to change hotels at the last second for my grandsons birthday (the pool was his wish and the other hotel had filter issues) The staff here was AMAZING. They completely saved the day and made a disappointing event into a positive. I'm glad we ended up here and will definitely be back

Comfortable, what you need. Plus a very good variety of breakfast! A pool and basic work out room this is a great place to rest on your journey. My experience here has always been stress free and what we needed.

Where do I begin, first my last summary of our stay here was deleted. We booked for a team event. When I reviewed my confirmation the price was higher than the team quote. I called the hotel and was told not to worry it would be corrected. Upon arrival the price was higher than the quote. Again. Was told not to worry, there was no manager to fix the problem right then. Sign it and it and they would ensure it would be corrected to the group rate. When we checked out, the invoice was not corrected I was told the manager was off for the long weekend. It would be corrected not to worry, the front desk staff were very very apologetic. But said they had been told they were not authorized to change invoices. What hotel does not have a manager on duty on a long weekend or trust their staff to correct invoices? Filed a complaint with Best Western customer care. They were useless and would not hold the hotel accountable. I was told to find other ways to challenge my invoice. Response from Tara the manager, I was not part of the group booking. Apparently it is the customers responsibility when booking to ensure the agent gives the group rate? I was not the only one who had issues with the invoicing at this hotel. Some invoices were changed at the front desk others were not. What hotel does not stand behind their staff and let them correct billing issues? What hotel does not have a manager available on a long weekend? This hotel has poor management leadership, customer service and lack of accountability. The manager has spent more time hiding behind email and telling me it was my fault I did not receive the group rate. It was my fault when I called in to book the front desk made an error and did not give us the group rate. It was my fault and there for could not be corrected by the manager or customer care. When traveling we love to stay with Best Western Hotels. This hotel has made us rethink our future choice in hotels. Especially when there is no accountability by Best Western customer care to ensure the hotel management is upholding the Best Western standards of service. Please stay tuned for the managers response telling me it is my fault I did not get the group rate. It will be posted shortly.

This was our last stop from our road trip coming from California to Victoria B.C. Canada. The hotel was located in a great spot, near the Vancouver mall. Clean premises, comfortable bed, (we had a suite due to family size) and good service at the front desk. Although we were kind of tired of the scrambled eggs and sausages that all hotels on the road include, this had some extras in their menu , like cinnamon flavored waffles, biscuits with gravy and small nutella packages. Quite a few options of fruit juices and sweet pastries. The service at the front desk at our arrival was great. The neighborhood was fine (some clinics and retail shops around), despite the homeless pandemic is all over the U.S. and it is sad to see around too many people in the streets near the mall. Overall, Best Western standards are met here and did not dissapoint.

We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel near the Vancouver, WA Mall area. This hotel matched all that we were looking for. Not only is it within walking distance, about 10 minutes, but it was also close to a few other activities that we had planned for our family. The hotel was super easy to find being right off the highway - and it was still quite at night. The full breakfast was a hit with biscuits and gravy as well as waffles for the kids. Many hot tea selections and non-dairy options as well. Thank you for making our family getaway a relaxing one!

We had been traveling for days between camping and staying in a few hotels. We were unable to find a camping spot and had called ahead to make a reservation. I spoke with Cheryl who said they had a couple rooms available. We made the reservation and upon arrival, Cheryl asked if we wanted first floor or second and though I thought either would be fine, she had no problem moving us to a first floor room after I explained that we were traveling with our Cocker Spaniel. The room was quiet and we call slept well. Cheryl was very professional and courteous. The morning staff at the front counter and breakfast were all very helpful as well.

Building shows some wear and tear but the staff is EXCELLENT! We stayed two nights and both breakfasts were so good! Fresh! REAL food!! Fresh bacon, eggs waffles with real strawberries. Best breakfast in the last two years!

We booked a group rate for our team and it has been an ongoing nightmare ever since. Run away, do not stay at this hotel. The front desk staff tell you not to worry your receipt is incorrect it will be corrected. The manager was not on location to help. Just a few issues: Over charged nightly rate Was told room rate would be corrected, it was not Families were charged for 4 nights not 3 Damage deposit on rooms not refunded or taken on all rooms Addition undisclosed charges after check out Charged for larger room that was not booked The hotel refuses to take responsibility for anything. Do not stay here if you expect any form of accountability for what they charge. This is the worst Best Western Hotel we have ever stayed at.

Room was average, however there was hardly any room service...no making the beds, refilling/replacing the shampoo/soap, there were fresh towels at least. Next trip I will look around for another location after being a BW Diamond member for many years.

The staff here is amazing! They all go out of there way to make their guests feel important and welcomed, that is hard to find these days. You won't regret your stay here! I've stayed at number hotels and the hospitality at this location is so genuine you will feel like family.

Hotel was very nice, quiet and clean. The girl at the front desk was Rhonda who went above and beyond for the guests. I needed a charging block for my iPhone and she loaned me her personal, which I returned in the morning. I also saw a guy who had ordered a pizza and only had a hundred dollar bill. Rhonda scraped together enough of her own personal money to break his 100, because the Pizza guy did not have change. It's always a good experience when you meet people like Rhonda when traveling. There still good people in the world that will actually take their time and effort to make sure your experience isn't sullied!

If you want to deal with lying unprofessional staff members who enjoy creating lies out of thin air, just so they can watch the DRAMA manifest in the middle of your company stay at this location. I have been charged for an extra nights 5 times and still have not got the points on the correct account. This is what you can expect at this location.

I would totally recommend this Hotel. It was extremely clean, secure, and well-kept. The staff were amazing and very helpful. So many hotels are not these days and are staffed with people would give the appears they would rather not be there. This experience was like a step back in time; before Covid.

My family and I stayed for 4 nights and had a great time. The staff was very friendly and always available. Cheryl at the front desk did an excellent job. She was training a new employee at the time of my stay and showed by example how to treat the guests. I asked about many things and she in my opinion answered them all, as well as asking if there was anything else I might need just feel free to ask. I and my family will stay again in the future and encourage others to do so by sharing when asked if I know of a great place to stay that this is it. Thanks

As a hotel, it is a hotel. The rooms are the same as any other Best Western and my stay was everything I expected. However, what made my trip wonderful, was the staff. They were extremely friendly, helpful, and always had a smile on their faces. I ran into a couple of small issues while staying here, but the staff were quick to help get them taken care of. I will be staying at this location again for any future business trips to the area. I love finding hotels where it feels more like visiting friends than staying at a hotel. This is one of those locations.

Overall great experience! We booked the king suite which gives you two rooms and 2 bathrooms but the 2nd room is seperated by a pocket door and does not have access to the exterior hallway. It was perfect for my 14 year old man child. The front desk ladies were fantastic and the server/food prep employees did amazing with the daily complimentary breakfast. The rooms are meh...a little worn out but clean and spacious. The hotel was quiet and in a great setting so close to the freeways and mall. 5 minutes to every type of food you would want and my kids had domino's most nights. Pet friendly hotel and we appreciated bringing our Buster. Surprisingly they never did fill the dog waste bags and I let them know a few times. After day 3 I figured I had done my doody. We stayed 4 nights and would definitely go back.

The hotel was near a family funeral and we wanted a clean, convenient location nearby. The BW+ was exactly that. We had been traveling in the car for 4 hours and wanted to change before attending a funeral. The let us check in early and were most gracious. It is not a 5 star hotel but I wasn't looking for that either. I will happily stay there again if I am in the area.

Slow check in, sloppily made beds with huge craters that looked like a 500# gorilla had slept there for the last year and the worst part......ANTS!! Woke up to find ants in the refrigerator, all over the desk and my purse and on the bed. Disgusting and unclean room. Needless to say will not be staying at this property again.

Celebrate of life the only issue I had was when I booked on line I could not find the place to add my dogs and when I checked in they had me on the 4th floor so had to a new room for dogs which the desk employee did without question

I came in two days ago after traveling from AZ. I needed a room for 3 nights but was told by another associate that they only had 2 nights available, but she would come the next day and switch things around so I could have 3 days. When I went to talk to that associate, she told me no they were booked. So, this morning I went down to see if they had any cancelations and explained what happened to SUE. She went out of her and showed what customer service is about! If I ever have to stay here again, I will ask for SUE! SUE made my Day, and I won't have to sleep in my car! KUDOUS to SUE!

My vehicle was broken into, and while they noticed people by my truck they did not report anything because nothing appeared broken. The front desk informed me that the police would come by and there are security cameras, alluding to the fact that this happened just last week. I don't understand why I wasn't notified immediately considering this isn't the first time. I wasn't offered waters at check in, which I did not address as we were trying to get rest. I asked for extra blankets at the front desk, and I reminded them on my way up but they were never delivered. We tried to use the phone to call down and it wasn't working. We thought we got it fixed but no one answered.

The staff and room were perfect for our stay with three teenage grandchildren. The room was super clean, no smells whatsoever. Pool was great for kids and breakfast was clean and hearty. We couldn't ask for better service or accommodations. The front desk personnel were fantastic and very welcoming. The kids and felt welcomed, too. Will definitely be staying here on our next visit with family.

Beds are old & broke down. Carpets are matted with pet hair and desperately need replaced. Odor from pets in the air. Couch had stains and looked gross. Office chair was all ripped up and broken down.

We were moving from Clifornia and had a 3 day reservation. Our movers were delayed and the 3 day reservation turned in to 12 days. Every time I had to extend the reservation, Cheryl at the front desk was there with a reassuring smile. She made sure we were able o stay in our original room and always made sure we had the best room rate. Cheryl, Sue and Heather's excellent customer service made this is a stress free stay.

I just want to say that Matt, the employee behind the counter, made our stay very nice. He checked us in, then later got me plates and utensils as I had gotten takeout, made cookies (no joke!), and was overall really nice. So, like normal, it is the personal touch that is making me take the time to write this review. Also, the hotel itself is nice and the location is convenient as we are here for a sports event for the weekend. Also, the pool is a great treat for the kids - two thumbs up!

The hotel was clean, safe, and secure. The staff was nice, friendly, and helpful. Sue in particular went above and beyond and totally exceeded expectations. Very accommodating for travelers with pets. Sue made us feel welcomed and like family.

They took us in like family. We were dropping my husband off for deployment and they took care of us like kings! Matt and Cheryl were fantastic at the front desk. The rooms were big and perfect for our family to stay! 10/10 id stay again.

Very clean hotel. They accommodated our two dogs. It was easy getting them in and out of the hotel without bothering the rest of the hotel. Tara was very polite and helpful with our questions she was the only one who helped us.

We've stayed at lots of Best Western hotels and this one is by far the worst. To make matters worse Heather the GM doesn't care about customer service. She was argumentative, blamed us for the issues we experienced and had zero interest in resolving our concerns. Our room was dirty, there was pet urine on the wall the entire 4 days we were there. They didn't provide any room cleaning services. We ran out of supplies, the bath tub didn't drain. Overall bad experience.

Great service, great breakfast, great room. I'd recommend this to friends and family both. We didn't use the pool or gym but they looked great. I hope you enjoy your stay at this Best Western as much as we did.

I would recommend this hotel great location in a beautiful city. The staff was great, continental breakfast had lots of choices. We would of loved to enjoy the cover pool and gym but we didn't have time.

Pet friendly room but not as clean as it should be. The sofa and chair had stains and they weren't made of a washable material. Otherwise the room was clean enough. Dog area outside had no bags in the holder.Good breakfast and friendly staff.

Decent place to stay, free breakfast that is decent. Pool is clean. Please make sure you let them know in advance how you will be paying for your stay, if not your initial card will be charged BEFORE you even check out.

We arrived a little late and the front desk staff was welcoming and helpful. We slept great! The room was very clean and had nice citrus scented shampoo, lotion, and soap. We needed extra coffee in the morning and they gave us more with a smile. We would stay here again.

I always staff at this hotel. The staff is great, the rooms are very clean, the breakfast selections are very good. The new Manager is awesome, looks like she really cares about her staff and especially the customers.

We stayed in the wheelchair accessible room because I was traveling with my daughter who uses a wheelchair. We planned to stay two nights and the first night the bed was so bad we couldn't stay. We wound up leaving and we're still charged the second night. The most important thing in the room is the bed and especially for those with disabilities. When I mentioned it to the front desk she just said okay and checked us out.

We are in town for our grandmothers funeral. Chose this location because when we called, they assured us they adhere to very strict cleaning policies and that their staff is masked while cleaning the rooms and masked when preparing food for the breakfast. There were other locations that said they did not require masks which is fine, but that's why we chose this location specifically. Upon arrival, 4 cleaning ladies were leaving. Came down from the elevator. No masks. The room we arranged was dirty so they gave us another one. Front desk gal told me she didn't know if they were wearing masks when they cleaned the rooms but were supposed to. I asked if they wore masks when they cooked the food for breakfast. She didn't know but said she thought they were supposed to. Super frustrating because we are traveling with a you g child who cannot be vaccinated and vaccines are not %100 effective anyway. Finally got to the room and it's filthy. I'll post pictures. Came back down with the cart, straighten med out a credit card error the front desk had made and she told us their whole front desk staff quit today and she was here on emergency and didn't know what was going on. The room, oh man. Floor clearly not vacuumed. Tables have fingerprints and thick layer of dust and table has food crusted on it. I'm hoping the sheets are clean. I'm appalled as i have stayed here for over 10 years and never had an experience like this. So disappointed. Asked the front gal about it and she said yeah, they don't check what these ladies do after they clean so I don't know. Nice. She did say the manager would be in later so I don't know what going to happen. I'm extremely uncomfortable here. It's filthy. I have no idea about the food situation in the morning. Again, I wouldn't have such anxiety but my 3 year old son is with us. We are not here on pleasure either. It's just a bad experience all around.

Management and front Desk personnel Disrespectful and Rude. Asked the front desk if my room could be cleaned at 9:00 am, the front desk replied that it would not be problem. After returning to the Hotel at 3:00 pm, we found our room had not been cleaned. We called the front desk, and was told that we had to request for a room cleaning the night before. When I asked again for maid service I was told I could pack my bags and leave the hotel if I was not Happy. CeCe the worker behind the front desk then told us that we had 30 minutes to bag are Bags and leave the Hotel, because I was being Confrontational????

I was horrified by the room they offered me at this property. In the past I have liked my stays at Best Western but this one is the pits. Pretty lobby. Stinky, dirty room with a damp blanket. As a diamond member I have always felt spoiled and appreciated by the Best Western until now.

The first night was OK, except everything had an old and depressing look, and the elevator had a terrible odor and other guests complained about that as well. Our niece and nephew stayed on the 3rd floor and people above them were partying from 10pm until 3am with jumping on the floor and loud music. When we left at 9 am the next morning we asked the front desk clerk if we could have our room cleaned and she said, sure no problem. When we returned at 3pm, our room was still a mess, no beds made and no new towels. My husband is a diamond member with Best Western and when he called to ask why our room wasn't cleaned, the clerk named CeCe said we had to ask the night before. We were never informed of that policy the night before, we were actually told that all Covid protocols were lifted. So my husband told CeCe that we were told our room would be cleaned. She told him, if you don't like it, you can leave. What type of customer service is that!? Then he asked to speak to a manager and asked for her name and she just told him, you have 30 minutes to pack up your things and leave, because you are being confrontational. I guess that's the word snow flakes use nowadays. If they don't want to work, they just say, oh you're being confrontational. I hated this place and will never stay here again. We will be calling corporate and writing lots of letters.

Hotel was as was expected—mostly. Stayed here several times over the past 11 years. Always a descent hotel with a nice breakfast. It was clear however that the hotel is struggling with staffing vs demand during COVID. If you are an open-minded traveler who practices patience and forgiveness, it's not a bad place to stay. If you're a Karen looking for everything to be perfect? Good luck.

First time at a hotel since the pandemic. We came to visit family, and Sue the receptionist was a gem! With a late arrival she had our whirlpool king suite ready. She was personable and helpful during our stay. The room was cleaned once for us which is policy for a three-night stay, and Sue made sure it was done right, The breakfast was good with great sausages. This Best Western is conveniently located near the mall and numerous restaurants. This hotel is definitely a plus.

This was a nightmare from check in to check out. Unfortunately we we were stuck here for 3 nights for a baseball tournament. Our non smoking room reeked of weed. When asked if we could switch we were told no other rooms were available. Went to open the window only to find the curtains were in tatters… rips from seam to seam. Breakfast was a mess. Juice machine was broken, out of hot items, so that left cereal but they had no spoons. When someone asked the front desk what was going on they were told to take it up with the manager who was 30 minutes late for work. We requested housekeeping on day 2, but it didn't happen. And by the time we got back to the room we were told there was no one available to help. Everyone pointed the finger at someone else. Our last morning the smoke alarm battery died at 5 am and the front desk really didn't care. They told us we would have to wait for maintenance to arrive. Any other hotel in Vancouver deserves your money over this one.

Let me start by saying the hotel did reduce my rate. I booked a 2 bedroom for 3 adults. We arrived and found neither room had the darkening curtains only sheers so at night the bright, parking lot lights would glare into the rooms. I spoke with management and they said, we may have some curtains let me check. Never heard back. We resorted to using large binder clips and hanging a blanket over the window each night so we could sleep. Next, the TV remote in one room didn't work. Spoke with management, was told we are changing remotes so we don't have anymore of those. So for the 4 days we were there, that TV was not used. In general, our room was dirty and not well maintained. The hotel overall was also not clean and not maintained. Lots of piled up trash and the coffee and tea service in the lobby was almost always empty at all times thru the day, I will never stay at that location again.

We stayed at this hotel for a softball tournament my daughter was in. Online booking was easy. Unfortunately my room had a problem with our toilet. I called about it at least 3 different times during my stay of 5 days. Nobody ever came to fix it. I was told once to use the ice bucket to fill the tank up. That's what I had to do everytime the toilet was flushed. It was hard to get clean towels also. It wasn't like this was a cheap hotel, so I was disappointed in the service we received.

This hotel was great very good breakfast waffle bar end everything. Pool and hot were great!! Rooms very clean and bed was comfortable. Next to shopping mall would stay at this hotel again but a little bit overpriced but it is summertime rates

We have stayed here many times in the past. The staff are very pleasant and helpfull. Rooms are clean. Location is excellent for travelers and visitors. The indoor pool was great and not crowded. The breakfast was far from great but had enough to satisfy.

Enjoyed the friendly and staff and location close to the Vancouver Mall area. Access to the freeways was also a plus as we traveled in several directions around Washington and Oregon. Hotel was very clean and social distancing was respected by staff and guests.

I had a great night's sleep, good service, easy booking. I quickly and easily booked my room. Quick and easy check in and the location was perfect stop over for my needs. Yes I would stop and stay here again!

Sheets had stains in first room, but room phone didn't work to ask for new sheets. Newly assigned room had missing peep hole so anyone could look into the room, so got reassigned again. Rooms had the florescent LED lights, which I'm not a fan of. Trash was piled up near garbage cans by the elevators. They must be low on staff because of COVID?

This is the only best western I will stay at from now on. The morning staff is the greatest. Extremely helpful and attentive and knowledgeable. Quiet, clean rooms laid back atmosphere which you don't find often.

My wife checked 3/5/21 in while I was at work and to her horror found a toilet in our room piled over flowing with diarrhea and toilet paper. The absolute least you could expect from a hotel is a clean room ESPECIALLY DURING COVID. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!!! Inna who is apparently the General Manager suggested to my wife to go to another room. She didn't ask me yet how I felt and as soon as I spoke with my wife I said no I want a refund I do not feel comfortable staying at a hotel that has such egregious cleaning habits as to miss something this foul let alone the basics. So she (the manger) refused to give my Wife Journey a refund. This hotel is absolutely disgusting in practice, cleanliness but apparently also the management ability to settle a damn $100 dollar refund. The hotel was for my daughter birthday!!! And you ruin our trip. You're foul. I'm contacting corporate best western about this incident.

The room was disgusting. There was blood splattered on a wall, hair in the bed, the chair was completely crusted and covered in grime and filth. The staff was horrific. We left and found a different place to stay.

This was a Last minute pick hotel. It was nice stay. We had good experience with it. The breakfast was hot and ready. Very delicious food, coffee. The staff was friendly and ready to help any time. There was no towels in the room so we had to go get it, but otherwise it was a nice stay for the price. The room was clean and big.

Tara has been great. I've been yp several hotels and haven't come across anyone who works as diligently as she does overnight. She typically has a pleasant demeanor and seeing her work ethic is very motivating! Shes also proactive and personable with all guests!

We needed to stay near family after a move. This BW fit the bill, perfectly. We were pleasantly surprised they had hot breakfast (waffles though, are like “waffle muffins “) and the staff was very nice. We weren't interested in using the pool and overheard it ended up being out of service for a few days. The clerks had to tell customers that were really disappointed, but the staff stayed professional throughout the situation. Would definitely stay here again!!

The room was dirty and the bath towels were literally strings hanging off of them. There were items burned into the carpet. I have stayed in best western hotels and never had this kind of dissatisfaction with the facilities. Dont waste your time or money to stay at this particular place

The clerk was very kind and helpful both at check in and check out! Our room was wonderful. The bed very comfortable which was greatly appreciated as we had been traveling for almost 2 weeks. This was the most comfortable by far. Also the breakfast was fantastic. We placed our order at check in and is was ready for us by 6 a.m. It was a tasty, warm breakfast and there was plenty of it. Quite a nice change from the brown bag breakfast we had received earlier in the year at another hotel.

A+! We have stayed here before, was impressed. Stayed again, and the staff continues to shine! This hotel has trained their staff very well. Check in, check out was most pleasant. Clean, quiet, was able to park my truck and trailer right onsite which was a plus.

I was in town to visit friends and this location was less than 10 minutes from their house. It was super close to freeway access as well which made getting around to tourist attractions easy. The staff was extremely nice, the room was clean and when I mentioned that I work nights so I keep odd hours they were mindful to put me in an area that wouldn't disturb other guests, which was super thoughtful.

When I came in I greeted by Cece, she has the greatest customer service skills she was there for me and my family when needed, my family said they will only come back to this hotel because of cece's services

Located within walking distance of the Vancouver Mall, this hotel offers comfortable, clean rooms. Several Covid-19 restrictions are in place but, in spite of these, the staff and service is friendly, attentive and helpful.

We have stayed at this facility, with my service dog, for over 5 years. But this time, the "breakfast bag" was dissatisfying and disappointment. Was not asked what I wanted for my bag but I could purchase anything in the refrigeration area. Also, they raise the room rate $10 more then the website rate. I've never had that happen before. When asked, was told the owners can set their own prices. I felt they were price gouging because of the current events.

The hotel is decent needs upgrades the fridge is inside a huge cabnit with a door and i noticed nothing in fridge got cold after 2 days i finally asked hotel lady working i believe Danna was her name and she rudly stated "uhh maybe if you keep the door open air will flow and fridge will get cold lol" I said I have to have this huge door open and in the way all the time so my fridge stays cold..she said "well ya"...okay I said.and as I was walking away and got around the corner i could hear her talking to maybe a co worker or guest telling them how stupid people are and how she was tired of dumb questions and how her job was no longer fun along with complaining about another guest and how she needed i believe she said to come up with a way to get them kicked out or have them leave somehow.I was appalled and quietly continued down hall to my room. In my opinion that was very unprofessional and if you work in customer service nothing of that sort should come out of your mouth to anyone. She was nice apon checking in but I never asked for anything after that whole situation.Maybe management needs to take a second look at who they have as there employees because a good employee can make a huge difference in someone's over all opinion i read a few reviews and notice certain names popped up as not so good reviews of them if i notice it im sure management has to as well so why is nothing being done?and you can't train someone to be nice or respectful they either have it or they don't and she has neither.. sorry thats how I seen it..but area is wonderful the people staying at hotel were great had some good conversations.house keepers could step up game a little but hotel was busy.the breakfast bag should of been gone a while ago idk who is still doing those but honestly they are crappy orange was mushy had a granola bar and a water that won't fill a bird..all the other staff was great night lady Tara she deals with a lot of craziness by herself it seems all night i can't believe no on site security that to me is absolutely insane..but thank you and we will be back soon.

Me and my family stayed here for 2 nights and the front desk lady Dana was beyond rude with me and my wife she seemed like we were bothering her apon checking in. She was very snoody and made us feel very uncomfortable for the two days we were here.mind you I never seen her with a mask on along with a few of the house keepers.We have been to a few hotels now over three months and this is the only one that still has a bagged breakfast if you even want to call it that,there is no protein and one day we didn't even receive a muffin or pastry and were only able to get 2 bags because they ran out by 8 am..time to step it up especially if the hotel rates are going to be sky high..

Carpet needs cleaning, Room 1 - stained bedsheet (blood amid COVID) & fridge noises (rm 410), went to room 210 - phone not working/carpet filthy, noisy toilet. 2 days of stay = 1 / 50 min. visit in pool. 2nd time slot canceled without notice. Pool cancellation possibility not explained at check-in. We stayed here specifically for open pull. Went directly to bestwestern.com, even paid a little more hoping for service. Front desk not friendly. Exception was Dana. Will never return! BW a 3rd choice from now on for our travels. Not happy.

Upon arrival in the parking lot we were greeted by a young woman smoking in the parking lot asking if we were checking in. We entered the lobby with a huge sign stating how they care for our safety and masks required. The night desk woman (the one from the parking lot) wasn't wearing a mask, and when I enquired she apologized, but didn't put one on. After presenting two pieces of ID we were informed there was an “incidental charge” of $50 that would be refunded when we checked out. Evidently it's a damage deposit, just in case. Made me wonder about who they get here. Room is ok, but I have never seen sheets any thinner on a bed. It's dated and smells of dust in the air. Slight road noise.

Stayed here two nights recently i.e. during COVID-19 pandemic. Lobby chairs blocked off, glass separating visitors from staff at front desk, signage on floors to social distance, breakfast room closed, sanitizer dispensers by front door and elevator are some of the changes they've made due to the pandemic. Pool is only open to one family at a time in hour blocks (you reserve at front desk) and I saw them wiping down railings/handles in pool between families. Kudos. Pool doesn't open until 9 am though, so if you are checking out you have two blocks to choose from i.e. fight another person/family for. Not sure why they can't open the pool earlier especially since only allowing one family at a time. I saw the same smashed food in the stairwell both days - you would think they would be stepping up their cleaning during the pandemic. Bathroom ventilation had the distinct smell of weed both days - my kids asked why the bathroom smelled like skunk. Grab and go breakfast bags (since the breakfast is closed) are a bottle of water, a piece of fruit (orange or apple), a wrapped pastry (e.g. cheese danish) like you would get out of a vending machine and a granola bar.

No toilet, no shower or hot breakfast. I booked a handicap room 4 months in advance for $175 a night. I had to get in the car to drive to a restroom for handicap toilet. They had no handicap room available at check in. No shower for 2 days.

I am beyond impressed with BWP, great place to stay at an exceptional value! Has all that you need, clean rooms for a great night sleep, high speed internet, breakfast, pool, fitness center, and pet friendly!

We checked in around 1 am on a tuesday and a lady named Tara was working the front desk alone,she was very polite and went out of her way to get us settled in for the next couple of days. Great customer service A+

Property is really clean. Up to date with Covid hand sanitizer stations. Grab n Go breakfast is alright. Stay was great the only thing that ruined it was Dana your weekend front desk girl. She acted like I annoyed her at any request, rolls her eyes, so much attitude! Really knows how to make people feel the OPPOSITE of what her job is, welcoming guests! I felt very UNWELCOMED. Everyone else I came in contact with was great. Only giving 5 stars for everything else other than Dana's help. Figured the hotel shouldn't suffer.

I've been out here for work for month 1/2 and I have great customer service on the front desk Lauren, she has always been friendly and smiles. You're very helpful give me directions to places to eat . Great grab and go breakfast everyday in the am. Property itself is really nice and clean.

The room was nicely furnished and bed sheets appeared clean, but that's where the positive side ended. I spent over thirty minutes cleaning the room. I would have thought that during a complete shutdown, hotels, malls, restaurants would have wisely use the time to do a complete top to bottom thorough cleaning. So wrong. Every flat surface had dirt on it. There was rements of an explodes chili dog on the ceiling and wall. The air filter was dirty,and the towels all had stains on them. I believe they were clean, however they needed bleach.

We needed a quiet place to go while visiting family in the area. This hotel was perfect! Quiet and clean. Our only disappointment was that because they had to switch to grab and go breakfast the breakfast was not very good. It included mostly sugary items such as a granola bar and a prepackaged muffin. Usually we enjoy the continental breakfast- but this new rule left a lot to be desired. Just be aware of that if you stay there during this time. Otherwise, I have no complaints, so I still see it as a five star hotel.

I have to admit I was slightly irritated by this place. It got such great reviews that I had high hopes of it being a great place. It was NOT. It wasn't horrible, but so many little things compiled together, made it unpleasant. I was glad that they accept dogs, because we had two with us. They were very accommodating and friendly when we checked in. I was hoping we would have a ground floor room, but the lady at the desk said those were all booked and had us on the 2nd floor. She said they had an elevator, so I was glad that at least I didn't have to carry my elderly dogs up the stairs. Our room was decent; good sized and comfortable. The beds were a good size and they provided plenty of pillows. The floor smelled bad, but I suppose that is because it was the room for people with pets. We didn't use the air conditioner because opening the window gave us plenty of fresh air. The TV had a blown speaker and would get super loud, then quiet, then loud again. The microwave had the prior guest's burrito still in there, which was grose. They had a desk area where you could do some work and a lounge chair. The TV was at an awkward angle that made it hard to watch TV unless you were sitting on the bed. The bathroom seemed fairly clean; it was just a little tired and needed some minor touch ups. They provided nice shampoo, conditioner and lotion but the bottles were tiny. The hallway carpet was a little warn and needed some TLC. The things that irritated me the most was the pet area outside was covered in dog poo and hard to walk your dog without stepping in it. The potty bag station was empty and although I always have my own, it's nice to have a backup. The tile floors near the windows in the hall and near the elevator were filthy and the elevator floor was filthy. They finally did mop them the day before we left so that was nice. They didn't have a hot breakfast because of the stupid Covid-19, so we got a paper sack breakfast with a muffin, water, granola bar and an orange. I think they could have put a little more thought into that, because it just made me more sad. There were some strange people hanging out in the parking lot and lots of noise going on around 2am. The people upstairs were very noisy and inconsiderate; staying up past midnight. All in all, it was just ok. I was disappointed, but at least I did get some sleep and I felt safe so that was most important.

Had some issues the first time we stayed here & the manager addressed them right away. He upgraded us to a suite (it was beautiful) & gave us a good rate. It was a very kind gesture. We enjoyed our stay. Everything was great, I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank You

I came to Washington to visit my Mother who is in hospice. and was very disappointed. The sheets were stained, the refrigerator was warm, the coffee maker was very low end and the coffee was awful, the towels were terrible and rough, internet was inconsistent, there was a spider smashed on the ceiling over the bed and left there, the beds are too soft and old, there wasn't a hotel book or restaurant referrals , and no emergency exit map in case of a fire. i has stayed here before in the past, and had a pleasant stay, but it has totally changed.. Maybe new owners, bot sure. but i am not a complainer, I just wont come back.

GREAT selection of breakfast buffet and VERY clean. The lady who checked us out knew everything to say and do, she was very outgoing and friendly and she was sure to address express check out and more.

We had a king suite and there was plenty of room for two humans and two small dogs. We knew there were other families with dogs staying but never heard a bark or whine. There is a park within walking distance too!

From the moment we checked in, it was wonderful. We were put into a 1 bedroom 2 king / 1 sofabed room and the space was fantastic! 2 bathrooms was a lifesaver, having enough space for all 3 kids to sleep comfortably was phenomenal. The beds were comfortable, if a little firm for my husband. The room was clean with plenty of towels. We went to the pool a couple times - it was great. Kids had a blast, we enjoyed the time with them splashing around and using the hot tub. Breakfast in the mornings was great! Lots of options, fresh waffles, fruits, cereal, oatmeal, eggs, potatoes, bacon and/or sausage, yogurt, juices... I mean really.. this place was so great this time that we plan on making them the main place we stay when we travel. BWP FTW!

The exterior and interior lobby of the hotel were very welcoming. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Haili always had a smile and went above and beyond with anything we needed or asked. Rooms were spacious and appealing.

The staff was Courteous, breakfast options were great, room was exceptional. I have stayed at several different hotels and for the price this was above my expectations. Thank You for the wonderful stay.

...I had a terrible experience with one of the Front Desk ladies. Her name is Dana. I was quite taken aback by the inappropriate things she was talking about in front of customers. She also was on her phone the entire time I was checking in and barely looked up at me. Everyone else was really friendly and helpful! I will absolutely be staying here again, however, next time I will wait to be assisted by someone else. My room was immaculate and the lobby is impressive.

Nice room, good breakfast choice offerings (sausage, eggs, potatioes, yogurt, oatmeal, waffle, etc.) sand other amenities, staff was friendly and professional, clean rooms and facility, bed was comfortable, good location.

Booked a jacuzzi suite for 3 nights. found ants in the bed the first night and the reception desk offered to spray bug spray...asked to move and was moved to a queen business suite. the bathroom had toilet paper shoved in the phone outlet and the door stopper. the dresser/tv stand was completely dusty except where you could see the 2 inches the staff had wiped. my colleagues room had brown water stains on the bathtub. when we asked to check out and told the manager why, he could only tell us that they always got really high marks on housekeeping...no way thats true.

My wife and I stayed there last weekend in room 120 along with our small dog. The place was spotless. The room had two comfortable beds along microwave and a good sized fridge. There was an easy chair with ottoman and a good sized desk with arm chair. Morning breakfast was from 6:00 to 10:00 and had a nice variety. We'd stay there again in a heart beat. They are pet friendly with a $15.00 per night charge.

Breakfast is pretty much anything you want, staff is more than accommodating, and the whole place is generally quiet and peaceful. Beds are super comfortable as well. Everything is up to date and clean. Always a speedy check in.

Fantastic location to friends and freeway. pool and spa very relaxing. evening cookies tasted amazing. nice staff. breakfast was wonderful. looked as if the carpets on my floor had been washed and dryers placed down hallway. but could not tell in my room that dryers are on.

Lauren at the front desk was very helpful and courteous. The room was very clean. Their WIFI is fixed and works great. Under new management and you can see the changes. All the staff are friendly and really go out of there way to help. I felt at home.

Good location with central access to everything, but the rooms need updating and feel a little less then what the online pictures showed. Nice to have the free breakfast option, but it was just ok. Overall, meh.

everything is good but no WIFI, it said with WIFI, but it is very weak and most time no wifi, even in the lobby, their computer runs so slow and sometimes stop working. We are very very disappointed for their misleading. This is the time WIFI is the most important feature for a hotel.

The only complaint I have about my stay is that there were homeless people on the premises. They were eating in the breakfast area and taking food outside at the end of the building. One asked me for a cigarette while I was outside by my car smoking. I don't like being approached by strangers. I worried my car would be broken into. Several had bicycles so who knows how far they came from to infringe on the guests and premises. Also there were two guys in the public jacuzzi well after midnight after the area was closed. I saw them go into the sauna-hopefully just to enjoy the sauna or smoke some weed, but who knows what they were doing in there. No idea how they got inside-the door has an access control lock. It appeared they were possibly not clothed and might have been using the jacuzzi as a bathtub because the next day it was super sudsy with soap. I complained to the front desk so hopefully they will put a stop to these trespasses. People don't pay to stay in homeless shelters. P.S. if you go to "reviews" and search reviews for "homeless" you will find at least two complaints in this regard. So this is an ongoing problem that has not been addressed properly. Also, search "police" and "creepy people" to find more issues. I also noticed a fire door (stairway) left open and the sign next to it says "Fire Door-Keep Closed". Maybe the Fire Marshall needs to do an inspection?

My family and I had booked a 2 night stay at this hotel. We were on the 2nd floor and heard every noise from the pool on the 1st floor until 11pm when they closed. The walls are so thin, you also hear all noises from above you and down the hall from you.. loud stomping, screaming, slamming of doors and road noise outside. Every fan in our room was on to drown the sound out but it didn't help. My 5 yo daughter fell asleep after midnight and we didn't get much sleep at all. When asked to cancel the second night for refund it was declined, when asked to change rooms the staff didn't do anything to accommodate this request. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone, not if you plan on sleeping.

Great location, rooms are clean, staff is friendly but I really like the breakfast. I often pick Best Western location for this reason. The added benefit of the hotel is the pool and jacuzzi. Highly recommend for this price range.

Excellent service & breakfast spread! Make your own waffles were delicious! The lady worker who was working there from 12/19-12/23 always smiled & made sure everything was filled. Oh & the bacon!!! Yummyyyyy!!

Excellent BW facility with wonderful staff. Rooms are nicely appointed and the entire facility is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is the standard fare for most hotels but the separate dining room makes the experience a lot more homey. Front desk to room service personnel are top notch and friendly every day regardless of time or weather.

Close to Vancouver Mall. Shopping and many restaurants close by. Freeway access was minutes away. Quiet rooms which was nice. Rooms are spacious. Staff welcoming, lobby beautiful. Pool and spa plus exercise room. Breakfast next morning.

Emergency trip. Multible problems with web booking. Front desk manager calious and reqired 2nd payment. Told by front desk staff BW shuts down web access early to avoid double booking. I explained problem to Kerry Anderson, he called me a lier. Guest dryer broken, no hair dryer in room

When we arrived they were training a new hire, the trainer was not helpful to her nor to us as guests. When I checked out they charged us $223 for our room that we booked with points. They fixed the charge immediately, but quickly placed blame on the new hire. Maintenance and housekeeping were very nice, the room was also fine.

From the messed up reservation, wrong date and wrong type of room, to the dirty clothes, crumbs and garbage found on the floor of our room when we checked in to the unmoved staff to correct anything that was wrong that we absolutely made them aware of. The only good thing was the ease of getting off and on I-205.

This is the second time that I've stayed at this property, I stayed again based off of my initial stay. The hotel is conveniently located next to freeway access, a mall and restaurants. They allow pets, it's clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. They have an indoor pool and hot tub and their breakfast is pretty good for a complimentary meal. I would recommend.

Nicely appointed, large rooms with very comfortable beds. High speed internet, breakfast and other amenities available. Do be aware that the hotel is a bit difficult to access (you expect access from the mall side and it is not available there)...and the parking is TIGHT. Staff is very friendly and the hotel is very clean.

We stayed here over the busy thanksgiving holiday and we received great service. I was surprised how quiet it was and couldn't hear my neighbors. The breakfast had a lot of options and was very clean.

Best Western Plus Vancouver Mall Drive Hotel and Suites is in a great location with lots of parking. Rooms are spotless. The staff is helpful and provides fresh baked cookies. The wifi is fast. The pool and hot tub are immaculate. Breakfast has lots of variety and is well staffed.

I checked into the property around 4pm and I had a great motel clerk that explained to me the breakfast times and check out times ansd the diffrent offerings. Because I am a Diamond member she upgraded my room. The rooms are nice clean and well stocked. I would recommend this motel to anyone traveling through Vancouver that needed a place to stay.

Room was clean and comfortable. Conveniently located near the mall and lots of restaurants. The bonus was continously available hot water. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was hot and satisfying.

This was a great place to stay. We were in town for family and needed a dog friendly place to stay one night. The hotel was close to freeways without being too close. Very clean and quiet. Very large refrigerator and a microwave if someone was staying for a while. I will definitely keep thus place in mind for the next trip.

My wife and I stayed one night in a king room with a jacuzzi tub just to have a night away from our kids and dogs. This Best Western was very clean quiet and seems to be very well taken care of. All of the employees were super nice and we had a great breakfast overall a great place to stay.

I stayed here with my family years ago and was very pleased with this Best Western then too. We love the location and it's so easy to get to from PDX. The hotel is in great shape and the staff were very welcoming. we'll be back!

Room was spacious as we wanted it to be. The bed was NOT as comfortable as we would have liked it to be. We were here only one night for a family Celebration of Life and staff was accommodating to place us all on the same floor.

Fabulous Location. Travelling South through Portland this location is perfect. The hotel staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the pool and fitness centre very useable. A good selection and choice for the included breakfast.

Great stay at this Best Western property! Dayna was our front desk associate and she was wonderful! Room was clean and breakfast was included. Id recommend this hotel! It's also near restaurants and shopping and easy to get to.

The hotel was very nice. A bit hard to find, even with GPS, but worth the effort. Close to many restaurants, both sit down and fast food. Also close to shopping and easy access to I-205. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty standard for motel breakfast, but well done. Breakfast room was very nicely decorated and comfortable.

Could've use one more desk person to be a backup, everything else was very nice the room was very clean a d comfortable, was peaceful and quiet for sleep. The staff was very friendly and very helpful for directions and to answer questions, they always were polite and attentive for personal attention. The breakfast worker person was kept pretty busy serving and restocking the breakfast food , also the hot food was kept heated and not cold.

I was very impressed with this hotel. I will definitely stay here again. The hotel was clean. The breakfast was amazing. So many choices. That was nice to not have to worry about finding some place to eat. The staff was friendly and kind. Very lovely hotel

Excellent hotel, clean rooms, comfortable beds, caring and cheerful staff, great fitness center and pool facilities too. A Leisure stay or business trip is well worth the making of many a joyful memory.

Room was clean! Bed was comfortable! Breakfast was okay. Waffles and a breakfast burrito. Staff was pleasant! Location was convenient for what we needed. I'd stay here again! All in all a good property to stay at!

Pros - 2 king suite for a very reasonable price. Good central location close to restaurants. Overall, room was decent and bed was comfortable. Easy check in and friendly clerk. Breakfast was slightly above average. Cons - serious concern about cleanliness. Men's room on first floor needed SERIOUS attention upon check in and had not been addressed 12 hours later. It was unusable. The fan in our bathroom took 10 minutes to turn on. The tv remote didn't work. Regular coffee was out when i tried to get some. The decaf was just plain nasty. Overall, for the price it is an average place. Not the best place I've stayed, but not the worse.

My overall stay was good I was turned off by the cleanliness of the bathroom walls that were dirty to look at and in the elevator from people going in and out of the elevator but there was sticky stuff on the floor

I enjoyed our stay, the only recommendation I would make would be to improve the breakfast recipes. The scrambled eggs tasted a little off and the potatoes had to much thyme I believe and not enough salt and the sausages did not taste fresh. But other than that I really enjoyed the cleanliness and the location.

Love the rooms and how spacious it was, we had 2 kings, and the rooms had their own bathrooms and separated by a door and especially the price it was a Win Win. All the staff was amazing and very helpful especially the front desk, to housekeeping. We did have to drive a little further that usual but it was worth it.

As I Best Western rewards member I have stayed at many BW's over the years. This hotel is probably the best I have seen. Clean, comfortable, big TV, indoor pool, even a sauna. It was quiet and had a provision to keep the HVAC fan on, which to me makes a big difference by providing white noise while you sleep. I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel to friends and family.

We were put in the pet area where my husband is very allergic to animals. We let the front desk know and was told there was nothing they could do! The beds you roll into the middle,very uncomfortable! I will make sure family and friends NEVER stay at this place! Very bad service! Very bad experience!

We held a company meeting at this hotel for two days. The meeting space smelled of mold, it was not set up on the first day, the HVAC for the room did not work (Not Working written in sharpie on the thermostat box), they did not provide water and coffee as requested, the outlets in the room did not work and they did not have an electric cord so we had to provide our own, there were no connectors for our laptops to their TV (and i was told there would be). Two of our people requested different rooms due to thermostat not working and a large amount of spiders in their rooms and were told no. No one came to fix the thermostat or address the spiders. We sent emails canceling two of the rooms well before the cancellation deadline and were told they were charging us for no shows for those rooms. I spoke to the area general manager and she refused to comp the conference rooms even though I was told by the front desk manager that the first day would be comped. When I discussed all of these issues she stated they were never made aware of the issues, which is completely not true. We talked with several employees at the front desk about all of these issues for two days. Not a good experience at all and I would avoid this place like the plague, especially if you are thinking of holding a business meeting there.

My stay was wonderful due to the wonderful jet tub in my room. Long hard day at work and then being able to get in the nice big tub with plenty of hot water was amazing. The bed, pillows and all the rest was confirmable and very well accommodating for what I needed. I'm sorry to say I did not stop for the breakfast in the morning but it sure did smell wonderful.

Paid by credit card at the time of reservation including the pet charge. When we checked out they charged me a second time for the pet but wouldn't correct it. Smelled of marijuana into the evening even tho it was a non smoking floor

Very recommended, whenever I have to come to Vancouver, WA I will definitely be at this hotel! The rooms are very nice and clean, the breakfast is sooo good! Everything was very well, it is a great hotel!

The hotel was great, We would like to give a huge thank you to Dayna. We asked for a list of things to do in the area and she went above and beyond giving 2 pages of list ideas and brochures. We very much appreciate all the effort she put into it.

An enjoyable time spent here, however it has change a lot since my last stay. The owner/manager of this Best Western has done a great job of trying to keep this unit a pleasant place to stay. Unfortunately the corporate offices at Best Western have decided to remodel all of their hotels, and they have not done a good job. This particular hotel had a wonderful color scheme and décor that fit well with the area and was modern and upbeat. Corporate came in and changed it to 1970's brown and some kind of off color white and threw it back 50 years into the past. Again, the owner/manager of this hotel is trying to use what corporate threw at him and they deserve kudos for their job of making it work. I have stayed at many Best Western hotels over the past couple of years and have found the same problems everywhere I have stayed. Will I stay here again? Definitely. Value for the dollar and location can't be beat.

Clean convenient hotel. Great bed, we wish our bed at home was as comfortable. Quiet room and a very respectful staff.The full breakfast was a nice touch. The gym was a plus, a little small but it was adequate for our needs.

Reception staff were friendly, courteous and efficient. Room was clean, easy to access, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh in clean dining area with helpful staff. It was just a one-night stay but worked well for our business meeting in Portland.

My fiancee and I paid for a king room with a hot tub. Arrived to find the room was not available. The desk clerk immediately lied to us about it. When we got to the room, it was filthy. There was paper pieces on the floor and the hot tub had clearly not been cleaned. When we asked for someone to clean it, no one was available, we were given a bottle of cleaner and told to clean it ourselves. We decided to go to the pool room and enjoy the hot tub there, but it was crowded and noisy and there sauna was broken. We just went back to our room. Too tired to do clean our own tub, we went to sleep. In our separate beds. In the morning we politely asked for a manager. The manager, Kerry Anderson arrived visibly disgruntled. He refused to do anything about it in a very rude manner and didn't even apologize until we were upset, and then it was obviously insincere and designed to get us to be quiet. He seemed angry that we were upset and continued to argue with us and say there was nothing he can do for us. Eventually he did offer us reward points equal to roughly 3% of a room, IF we stayed at a Best Western 23 more times first. There was nothing else he could do he said. After this insulting offer we asked if he could contact corporate and see what could be done. He just said no and stared at us. I got a number for corporate and dialed, when suddenly the manager found a discount for us. Miraculous. The entire attitude of this manager, as a representative of Best Western, was enough to convince us to avoid Best Western properties on any future trips

We were in the area for an engine show in Ridgefield. When we arrived late at night our first night the staff was friendly and got us checked in quickly. Breakfast was very good with alot of choices. We would stay there again.

Very nice hotel. Need better quality control in verifying cleanliness. Front desk staff very nice. The rooms are spacious. Pet friendly rooms. Breakfast was good. Only suggestion, prepare for number of guests.

Room was 60 degrees when we arrived. Housekeeping did not clean our room. And the toilet was broken. was given a discount for the issues. But the discount was only the same room rate that my in-laws had and they only booked their room 24 hours ahead of me. So my room went from overpriced to regular priced. To me that's not really a discount for the inconveniences I received.

At first glance, not bad. But looks can be deceiving, very deceiving. We kept letting "little" things slide until time for sleeping after a long day on the road. Turn back covers and neither bed had clean linens. Crumbs, stains, you name it, gross. Tried to call front desk but the phone would not work. Called from cell and it went unanswered. Went down and front desk clerk was busy chatting with a gentleman so we waited. When she asked what we needed we told her and she seemed very put out and would rather continue chatting with the gentleman. Long story shorter after call to general manager housekeeping was called in. They were very good, apologized for situation and promptly changed linens. Further dirty areas found in daylight. Utensil containers in breakfast area had crusted jam etc on them, areas where food had been dropped over 2nd floor landing, etc. Staff did not care and told me to contact manager. I have emailed her and Best Western corporate and await word from either. Friends have changed their reservations and we would not stay here again.

Maid service was minimal at best, never emptied trash or changed out towels. Melted gummy bears found on floor upon arrival. They do offer breakfast but I recommend restaurant down the street. Even McDonalds would be better. Very lumpy beds and pillows, they also tend to tip when more than one person sits on edge of bed.

We stayed overnight for a girls' trip to Portland. We reserved two suites. The Beds were comfortable, even the sofa bed. The Room was very clean. Great stay! Great location by Vancouver Mall. Short drive to Portland.

Laid down in bed after a long day and started to feel itchy. Glanced down at our feet and noticed tiny black dots jumping around the bed. Looked around the room and noticed there were FLEAS EVERYWHERE! Asked for a new room, but were kicked out as they were full and made to look for a new hotel past midnight. Tried talking with the hotel personnel regarding a refund for the replacement hotel as it was a higher price due to booking last minute, but were sent around in circles. Never received as much as a phone call or apology. Counted more than 30 BUG BITES! Would not recommend!

This is a very clean and fresh property! The staff is super friendly and eager to help. We were very happy to be permitted to check in early. The room was very clean and up to Best Western Plus standards. Will definitely be back!

The room I was in looked clean at first glance but as I was to find out, that was far from reality. I found dog food on the floor and the next morning dog poop under the desk. You ask how did i find it, by stepping in it. I was disgusted to say the least. I will never stay at this location again.

Rooms were nice, clean and roomy. Lobby was nice and inviting. Pool area was great kids had fun. Breakfast was great the first day and terrible the second. I guess it comes down to who is working and how motivated they are second day everything had run out or was low. Hot food was cold and never replenished. Counters were dirty and tables weren't cleaned after people finished.

I have been coming to Vancouver for work for the last 8 weeks and I only stay at this hotel because of Renee and Michael. I have spent the last 12 years traveling for work and I am by far more impressed with them then any other hotel employee I have come across. They have the best customer service, they are warm and friendly. I have, and will continue to tell everyone I come across in the area to recommend this hotel when people ask because of them.

Visiting the Vancouver area. Found the best Western to be a good choice. Location is excellent. Staffing is excellent but the rooms could be updated and it just looked tired. The bathroom needed updating badly the tub was pitted and the carpet was musty.

Room was large, clean and comfortable. However, I didn't like the design of the tub and the fact that the water filled up from showering, without draining automatically. I had to pull the drain stopper thing up and hold it so that the water can flow/drain, which was terrible. That is not how it supposed to work. The sink is a bit weird as far as the shape goes and I felt that it was kind of small. Also, the elevator floor was a bit dirty and so was the common hallways and it didn't seem like it was mopped or anything. Hotel is conveniently located. It is next to a mall and near everything that you might need.

My wife and I had a pleasant stay at your facility. The accomadations were excellent and the people were great. The only regret was that there was no safe in the room. Consequently, we carried our valuables around with us during our visit with family

Breakfast, wirlpool, sauna, swiming pool, exercise room, TV, microwave, & fridge worked great. Air conditioning unit broke, was moved to another room that was disgustingly filthy, with no attempt to clean it after complaint was made.

WOW! What a great hotel from the time of booking until check out. Hot cookies in the foyer! Eggs and meat selection for breakfast! Staff very attentive to needs and the fitness area is super. The value is extraordinary.

This hotel was extremely clean and quiet. I was very impressed by everything in our short stay. We checked in after a long day of shopping and a concert. Check-in was fast and we got a room on the top floor at the end of the hall...IDEAL. Breakfast options were fantastic. The only thing wrong in that area is that the milk was sour. Yuck. I just switched to orange juice and water and all was good. Check-out was again quick and easy. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful experience checking in, the stay and the great breakfast the next day. The front desk person on the nigh of check in was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The surrounding area was close to a mall which had a great Mexican restaurant staying open after the mall closed.

The things I liked: *Front looked like a hotel with a nice water feature, unlike some other Best Western Plus we can't even tell the difference between the front door in the back door. *the room was large and comfy bed. Had microwave and small fridge *I got the room with the Jacuzzi tub which was awesome and worked great. Also the room was still spacious even with the Jacuzzi tub in it. * had a nice looking pool, hot tub and sauna. Things I didn't like: *Breakfast was limited and typical of what you would find at a Best Western, not Best Western plus. For example, there was no cottage cheese or hard-boiled eggs, like at other Best Western Plus,- which made trying to find something not high in carbs or saturated fats *AC in room sounded like someone put a baseball card in the spokes of a bicycle wheel. *I had to run an errand late at night and when I got back there was a crowd that were not guests (some would call them tweakers) in the lobby and just setting outside the front doors. Since they were sitting near the obligatory “we are not responsible for any car thefts” it was a little worrisome that they were allowed to loiter athere for while. Well I do like staying at Best Western pluses, I do think that next time I am in Vancouver I will check some other places maybe down by the water.

Don't stay here! They may charge you 3 times on your credit card! I've been in contact with them and they are unwilling to remove the duplicate charges -despite my explaining to them that we only had 1 room. Poor customer service but great property.

Very nice place to stay great location by mall and restaurants right off the 205 freeway. They have a great selection of items for there breakfast. There's a great indoor pool, spa and sauna. The fitness room is convenient and adequate.

I had a 2-room suite. Having 2 full size bathrooms was a life safer with a room full of women! The king size beds were comfortable as was the sofa. The check in staff was very friendly, although there was only one person checking customers in who had to divide their time with all the phone calls coming in as well. The full size breakfast was good, and usually consist of scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, oatmeal with all the topping options, waffles, muffins, bread, yogurts, fruits, juices and coffee. Breakfast was served until 10am and the room was not too crowded during around 7am. The hot tub was great, the indoor pool had perfect temperature and there was not a heavy chlorine smell as you often find with indoor pool and hot tubs. There was a small patio off the pool which was nice to enjoy. The sauna wasn't working during my stay, which was a feature I was looking forward to enjoying. It is a pet friendly place where pets are allowed on the 1st and 2nd floors only, so if you want a pet free room ask for a room on the 3rd or 4th floor. The hotel was perfectly located near the mall and many food choices. You didn't hear much road noise unless you opened the window. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel had bugs or something that showed up all over my skin the following morning. The sheets were stained yellow. The sink did not work and the water would not go down. The heater did not work correctly.

Last fall I stayed at the hotel and there was a strong odor in the room like dirty shoes. The staff offered to switch us when we reported it, but we just opened the window and aired it out. I went again this weekend hoping it was a fluke, but both rooms I booked smelled again...one just smelled musty but the other smelled almost like a skunk. We also had some issues with check-in and service during our second visit. It felt like a good, safe location.

reception was efficient but not welcoming . Same when we asked about places to eat nearby , given a printed list with no other interaction . Room was ok , wall in bathroom of room 400 could do with a little patching up . Breakfast , I was happy to have non dairy milk available , perhaps could add some non dairy yoghurt ? Veganism is on the rise ! Would also love if the toiletries were not made in China -- some were ! All in all a forgettable experience , not good , not bad

We had a very pleasant stay. The rooms were clean and clean smelling (very important to my wife). Breakfast was pretty good for this type of service. Staff was pleasant and helpful - especially the Front Desk staff.

This hotel was nice, clean and convenient. The breakfast is a continental hot breakfast that consists of eggs of some sort (scrambled, omelet style) with toppings, oatmeal with toppings, waffles with toppings, yogurt, breads and bagels, apples and oranges, sausages and juice. The room we had was the queen suite. It sleeps 6 or 5 adults comfortably with the sofa bed. It has a fridge, microwave and coffee maker and was in my opinion, large. The downside was that the walls are a little thin but nothing or nobody kept us awake.

Walk in with reservations from 4 months ago an none of it was correct . How do you tell someone that they almost didn't have a room because they over looked having a dog. An don't even think of getting the ground floor. Husband has issues walking. Then the worse room in a hotel next to the elevator with a dog. Just checking in was a experience no one should have to go through

Quick and easy check in & out, average cleanliness, nice lobby, spacious room but uncomfortable bed, view from the room was a concrete wall so not able to even look out to see the weather, average indoor pool that could use some cleaning, staff not helpful in making suggestions for local restaurants etc., there is plenty around as far as the mall / shopping / coffee if you have a car.

The three stone pillar water fountain outside of the hotel gives the Best Western the most positive Fung shaui of any hotel in the area. I will skip all the positives as they are covered in other reviews. I have two beefs: 1. The computers and printer provided for the guests are terrible: under-powered and fill of electronic crap (probably left by guests). 2. Some idiot potted a small palm in a giant pot and left it to suffer on the third floor (see photo). Criminal!---repot that poor plant.

My wife and I were very pleased with the courteous and helpful staff. The room was very clean and easy to get to. At this location there are lots of very good restaurants ie. Olive Garden, Outback Steakhouse. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone needing an over night stay.

A quick trip to be at grandaughters burthday party. Staff very nice and extremely helpful, clean and quiet in spite of several teens staying for sports event. But difficult to find entrance. Once found its easy to enter and exit via the Mall. Very close to freeways.

Very friendly and helpful front desk staff who gave us great suggestions for dinner spots. Freshly baked warm cookies in the lobby area were very much appreciated. Our room was clean, comfortable and very quiet. Wifi was fast and it was easy to login. Only area for improvement would be the breakfast. Only one criticism. Potatoes were actually cold, and other selections were barely lukewarm. Smaller amounts being replaced regularly would have really helped here along with hotter warming trays.

Sandwiched between a busy road and the freeway. Very noisy. Staff is very sweet. Room smells awful! 40 degrees outside and had to open the window and bring in a car air freshener. I see some updates on everything but the dirty bathroom. Came with candy malt balls on the floor or I would have given it 2 stars.

We got a room here for $100 a night. This was a fanominal deal. The rooms were relatively new and quite clean, by American standards, and came with a complimentary breakfast. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the staff was very attentive. The hotel had a pool, hot tub and a sauna along with a workout room. The only complaint I have is the sauna was off so it took too long to heat up. The breakfast had a variety for everyone. Overall a great hotel with a easy on the pocket price-tag.

This was a last minute need due to weather. Check in staff were very courteous and helpful. King room was wonderful, spacious and comfortable. Close to the mall and restaurants. Nice hot breakfast included. Highly recommend.

Great hotel lots of amenities and the breakfast was great. The indoor pool was awesome and there was never anyone there so we had it to ourselves most of the time. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is also pet friendly and they also have laundry facilities and we had a fridge in our room but no freezer and they stored my ice cream bars for me they were so helpful and nice.

I want to commend Sue and Michael who were the most helpful during our 5 day stay. Sue helped in the breakfast room on Saturday morning when it was crowded with cheerleader visitors. Michael helped when our door keycards were not working. They just seemed the most professional and I wanted to compliment them for their kindness and hard work

We stayed for 5 days. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Sue was especially helpful. She was working the front desk when we arrived and then made sure on a VERY busy Saturday morning breakfast that she kept the breakfast room stocked with all it had to offer. We were impressed with her hard work. She takes pride in her job and the hotel.

Excellent facility and one of the best desk clerks in the business! Really enjoyed our stay and King Suite. Parking was easy and near the door. Lots of services nearby and had an excellent meal before we returned to the room. Overall a very Nice facility and the key for us was the over the top great service.

This hotel is definitely better than most in its price point. The hotel has good furnishings including comfortable beds. Location is convenient to lots of restaurants, shopping, and highways. The staff was very hospitable and was helpful in recommending places to eat. Parking is well lit with outdoors cameras. Breakfast included was ok about average for most like this style hotel.

We had a great stay. Wanted a jacuzzi room, they had it. We had just left another hotel that I had a reservation with that changed our desired room to give it to someone else. Almost ruined the birthday night!! But Best Western saved the day and they were awesome and very busy.

Clean and safe hotel with the expected breakfast buffet and a large eating area. Very kid friendly! Indoor pool great when it's cold outside. Convenient to Portland airport, mall, local family activities, grocery shopping, plus close restraurants galore. Kids and husband were never bored while I attended conference.

We stayed here over Christmas and New Year 2018-19. The room was very comfortable and clean. No smoke smell in our non-smoking room. The complimentary breakfast was good. The housekeeper kept our room clean and changed the towels daily even though we didn't ask her to. We didn't use the laundry, but they had one available, as well as a heated pool and jacuzzi. The staff were friendly. Great place to stay.

Breakfast room was well stocked and clean; room spacious and spotless; cleaning staff swift and efficient. Would recommend this hotel to friends and family.I was traveling with my mother who is handicapped, and the accessible room, while not right next to the elevator, was easily navigable.

Everything from check in to check out was a 10. The personnel were all very kind and very helpful. The rooms were spotless and in beautiful condition. The breakfast was great and the location was very convenient for us. The pool was very well maintained as was the spa. We didn't go into the weight room, but if it was like the rest of the motel, I am sure it was great.

We stayed here for two nights with family on a trip to see the Nutcracker Ballet in Portland. It was close enough to the city to make it an easy trip. The rooms were clean and large, the pool was just right for our 2 and 4 year olds, and the breakfast was excellent. Sue checked us in and she was very helpful and friendly. We were in room 403, which was great because it was close to the elevator (nice with the little kids). Would definitely stay here again.

I booked two rooms for my family at this Best Western. Starting with Sue at the registration desk to the extensive buffet breakfast and the condition of the pool and spa, we were very pleased with the welcoming reception. They couldn't guarantee rooms next to each other, but that's what they delivered. The complimentary cookies, coffee and tea were a nice touch when we arrived, and the breakfast is one of the best we've had in any hotel. Even my wife, who is gluten free, found plenty to eat.

Okay, checked in, and headed to the room, only to find out my key didn't work. Found a cleaning lady to let us in, and then returned downstairs to get my cards re-keyed. Later in the day, my card didn't work again, rekeyed for the 2nd time. Added my daughter to the room, so she could pick up a package and when she arrived, they rekeyed the room again. THIS WAS A PAIN. The Pros: The staff was great; check-in was easy; hotel was quiet and clean. The Con: Keying of the room keys. Breakfast was not very good quality. My son at the sausage, and has not been feeling right since. This was over 24 hours ago, missed school to boot. I would stay here again, primarily because it is quiet and clean.

SUE was great,she was very helpful when we arrived ,little error from the website that we booked. The hotle was nice and clean in a good location, easy access to all the locals store and restaurants. The mall right next door.great choice of breakfst daily. Ill recommended if u come to thos area.

I have stayed at this Best Western twice and was impressed both times by the helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are good size and all room features were operating as expected. The location is very handy to the freeway and you can make a quick trip into Portland if you need to. Plan to stay here again when visiting Vancouver. Plus they are pet-friendly and have a lower than average charge for pets.

Two night stay at this location. Very nice lobby and staff upon arrival. Efficient check in procedure and welcoming chocolate chip cookies. Location is close to Vancouver Mall with restaurants, shopping, and theaters. Also, a short drive to PDX if that's in your plans. King room was very nice with a comfortable bed and pillows. Separate seating area with couch, desk and chair. Only complaint was the location of the TV. The 42” flatscreen was mounted on the wall at the foot of the bed and could not be turned or angled to be seen from the seating area.

First the refrigerator in the room didn't work. We had to put ice in veggie bin to keep our meat and cheese from spoiling. Couldn't call the front desk to ask any questions because the phones didn't work. The breakfast was hit and miss on what they had. Had to go buy milk for my granddaughter to have the cereal that they did have available.when we asked they said they couldn't go get anything because the general manager was out of town. All of the employees were nice but that is not all you pay for whenever you book a room. They did replace the fridge and fixed the phones. But, we were there for a wedding. Trying to get all the kids and us dressed and dealing with the maintenance personnel was not easy. What was already a hectic day was made worse with all those problems. The bed was hard. The room was hot unless we opened the windows all night. I think I will look elsewhere next time.

We spent 1 week (Oct. 7-14,2018)at the hotel. Even though we had a late 11:00 PM check in, we were greeted so warmly by SUE at the front desk. She helped us check in quickly after a long flight from Hawaii. My daughter and I stayed in a queen suite (located on the 4th floor, so quiet) and appreciated the extra sitting space (nice couch area). The room was clean and neat. We appreciated the free breakfast where we enjoyed make-your-own waffles, hot oatmeal, pastries, cereal, bagels, hot eggs and meat, yogurt, variety of fruit juices,coffee and soy milk, and fresh fruit. The breakfast staff worked hard to keep the area well stocked and tables clean. The hotel has a self laundry, indoor swimming pool,fitness center and computer/printer,free coffee/tea in the lobby for guests. After a long day of doing tourist activities, my daughter and I looked forward to the free cookies (so "ONO!!" Hawaiian for "delicious") in the lobby before retiring for the night. The housekeeping staff always did a great job and always accomodated me for extra supplies when I saw them in the hallways (always with a smile!). The hotel is located in a convenient location within walking distance to the Vancouver Mall with adequate parking for guests. We were lucky to have SUE greet us with such warmth again (even though it was 5:30 am) and she helped us check-out quickly . We were happy that she remembered us from check-in and that made us feel special. We will always choose this hotel when we visit Vancouver. Best Western is "NO KA OI!" (Hawaiian for "The Best!"

great stay well taken care of facility. everything was operated in a clean and effective manner. I would recommend this facility without hesitation to family and friends. I always enjoy staying at the Best Western because i know what to expect

I had some miscommunications with this hotel regarding my reservations. I was very concerned about the outcome and whether or not my needs had been met. I am a professional traveler and had always put my faith in BW. When I arrived to check in, I was immediately put at ease by Sarah. She assured me that she would honor my membership status and do her best to help me. She went above and beyond to not only honor my original reservation but to upgrade me to an amazing room!

We are on a road trip from Sonoma county California to Alaska. We called and made reservations at best western. I met Tara she is an employee at this hotel. Just wanted to say thanks for every thing. We would definitely come back.

We tend to stay at Best Western Plus Hotels for short stays because on the whole they are clean and comfortable. This Best Western Plus was clean, comfortable and had a nice check in staff. It is right off the freeway but a little easy to miss because it is back from the street, slightly hidden.

Sue is awesome! We we treated really nice from the first day to the last. The employees here do a great job making you feel like a priority. We really appreciated the time that we were able to spend here. Loved our stay!

The staff was exceptional and extended a great price with a great room. Staff was very helpful in recommending breweries to visit and dinner locations. This hotel also had a nice fitness facility along with a large indoor pool.

We were able to seamlessly check in late when our stay in vancouver was extended a night past our previous reservations somewhere else. Sue is helpful and informative. our stay was perfect, thank you.

Hotel is just down from a great mall and very good shopping. Tons of restaurants close by and will deliver. We got 2 rooms and the were both spotless and so very comfortable. Full breakfast of bacon, sausage, eggs with cheese, waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, muffins, danishes, and hash browns daily. Food was very good and included. Very nice hotel pool with spa and a sauna that we took advantage of. Make sure to check down at the front desk for freshly baked cookies as well. Yum! We had a jetted tub in our room and it had a refrigerator microwave in the rooms.

The place was very clean the staff was very friendly the rooms were very comfortable parking is a little tight if you have a bigger vehicle but overall our stay was very enjoyable and would highly recommend this as a close place to shop and a good central location from the Vancouver area

My wife found condom next to bed. She was grabbing her hair tie that fell. Manager Kerry was a disrespectful and scary man. And I am a rancher/farmer. Seen alot. This guy was something else. Please choose another. Bless ya!

Convenient location for the vancouver area. We have stayed in Salmon Creek several times to be a little closer to family, but Salmon Creek hotels were WAY overpriced for the value at this time in August (Clark county fair was going on as well as other north vancouver activities so maybe that is why) So we booked our first stay here near the vancouver mall. Just added a few minutes to the commute and was extremely convenient for shopping, restaurant options, and even a needed run to Target. The hotel is recently remodeled. Off the road just a bit behind a few other businesses, so very little traffic noise and top floor was very quiet, even with traveling sports teams. Easy on and off for I- 205. Everything was very clean and in good condition. Traveling with a party of three (and an unknown potential for 5), we booked the 2 bedroom/2 bath king suite rather than our usual 2 Queen room. We felt it was worth the extra $ considering the roomy space, two bathrooms, door between rooms and the full size sleeper couch. When we decided to add an extra day to the trip, this room was no longer available so we switched to a 2 Queen. The staff was very gracious to accommodate our change by notifying us about 11:30 a.m. that the other room was ready to go and we could check out of one and move our luggage down the hall to the other. Much appreciated! Breakfast is standard and nothing to get excited about. Eating area and lobby are very pleasant and well appointed. Standard Best Western beds which are very firm. (I find the HIE beds softer) Liked our stay and will stay here again!

Another nice place, very large room that accommodated easily the five of us, great swimming pool and a nice breakfast. Conveniently located 20 minutes from the center of Portland. Good value for money (~180 per night for double queen plus extra foldout bed).

My wife and I spent two nights here a week ago. Spent about $175 per night for a room with two queen beds; our adult daughter stayed with us. Great location to explore Vancouver, WA. It was a little difficult to find; it's located off the street, behind the Urgent Medical Care - Family Practice Bldg. The room was clean and cozy with comfortable beds. The walls were well insulated; we had neighbors beside us, but never heard them. The pool, spa and sauna were all very clean. When we had trouble getting the sauna to heat up, the maintenance guy was quick to remedy the situation, with a smile, and it was heating up just fine after he attended to it. Breakfast was varied and tasty. We wake up early - and they had hot coffee in the lobby at all hours. The staff was friendly and available. The small fitness room was perfect - my wife used the elliptical one afternoon. As a side-note: I highly recommend a dinner out to the restaurant "Beaches" in Vancouver, and to request a river-side table; the atmosphere, service and food there was great. Afterwards a stroll on the adjacent boardwalk will make the evening truly memorable. Regards, Hank :)

I don't have one negative thing to say about our stay at the BW Vancouver. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the building and room were clean and supplied, the breakfast was great, and the location was perfect for us. Last, but not least, I slept like a baby in their comfortable bed! I have neck and back problems, so this is a big deal to me, especially when I travel. We will stay here again!

We flew in and we're looking for something relatively close to the airport as well as close to Portland and the Columbia River. This fit the bill. And it was a pleasant surprise to find a very comfortable room and bed. Breakfast in the morning was average but filled the stomach In preparation for a long day. No complaints at all.

We reserved 6 rooms for our tennis team to stay. Each family has its own needs. Staff is willing to accommodate each family needs and keep all rooms around the same area . Good comfortable bed. Spacious rooms.

Location right next to freeway,close to shopping center,room was huge,breakfast was good with hot items,choices of cereals,waffles and mores.only 20 minutes to multnomah falls or Columbia river gorge and 10 minutes to Portland.will stay again next time in the area.would recommended.

Was a little difficult to find, as we thought it was just off the Freeway, but you had to negotiate a little to find it. Not far from a large shopping mall with a Macy's and loads of other shops. We had large comfy beds , coffee machine, good shower etc. Nothing to complain about and decent enough breakfast with fresh cooked bacon and scrambled eggs on China plates and proper cutlery, none of the usual paper plates or plastic bits. We also found an Outback grill on the Mall for eating in.

It was necessary to to have a senior citizen live elsewhere while we did maintenance on her home.This was our choice to have her stay her stay here to make it a pleasent, positive experience. She had a respite and we were able to complete our task.

July 9th 2018 I booked a room for my son's birthday upon arriving we checked in our room and it was the wrong room we were upgraded which was nice the but later the birthday boy stepped on a piece of glass in our room a piece broke off into his foot so needless to say several hours was taken out of our day to deal with that then we found dirty socks and a dirty t-shirt just underneath the bed we were given a different room by the time night came everything was ruined we were moved three times in one day when we asked for our stay to be comped for the next day the owners said no because they are running a business and cannot give out rooms for free, I don't know what kind of a business they are running here but I will never stay here again I am absolutely disgusted.

We stayed here a few years ago and still found this to be a nice Best Western Plus. We arrived late and left early, so had a fairly short stay. We were pleasantly greeted at check in and found our room very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was pretty standard Best Western fare.

We were in town seeing some family and really disappointed in our stay. Housekeeping was extremely short staffed. We were told 5 housekeepers quit that week, and 3 walked out in one day. When we checked in at about 3:45 (check in time was 3:00) and were assigned a room. When we got up to the 4th floor with all our luggage in tow, the room had not yet been cleaned. We lugged all our things back down to the front desk, and were assigned another room. That room did not get serviced once during our 4 night stay until we spoke with management. The first day was our own doing as we had the "do not disturb" sign up from about 12:00-4:00. The following day however we got left the room at 10:00am and didn't return until nearly 5:00pm and our room was not touched. I specifically double checked to make sure we didn't have the do not disturb sign out and we did not. We had to get new towels from the front desk. Our final day before checking out we left at about 9:00am and returned to our room at 2:15 and it still had not been cleaned; I had to go to the front desk for toilet paper. We finally had it and went to speak with the manager. We saw a gentleman at the desk dressed in a Hawaiian shirt and asked of he was the manager and his response was "maybe. Why are you asking?" I started to verbalize my concerns and he cut me off before I was even half way done. He offered us 1000 Best Western points, and to have the room cleaned right then. While the gesture was nice, he did not fully listen to our concerns, and was quite abrasive. 1000 points is only equivalent to $10 which is essentially nothing. We also had to sit in the lobby for half an hour while the room was cleaned while we were exhausted and sweaty from the day and just wanted to rest. Breakfast was okay. We have had better and worse from hotels in the past. The front desk never had more than 1 person working at once even during check in times and the poor girls were always trying to do 20 things at once. The staff at the front desk were always very kind at attentive however.

This room was reasonably clean or we would not have stayed. They have updated this hotel but it lacks pride. Our room had 2 pictures on the wall that were the exact same picture on opposite walls. The bathtub didn't have a stopper, so we used a washcloth to plug the drain for my little one to take a bath. The bathroom mirror was placed over another mirror, which showed through on the edges. Very tacky. There was an outlet behind the tv, yet reachable, that had no oiler cover. Obviously this was a quick renovation slapped together, in our room anyway. I tried to kindly tell the desk help about our room as we left and her response was, "so what was wrong with the room?" They obviously don't care.

My husband and I recently flew in and were flying from Atlanta we arrived in the evening after a long day of travel and we knew we would be leaving in the morning and getting into Atlanta late in the evening. We stayed at the Best Western when we arrived and again the night before we flew home. It was perfect for us. We were tired and in the lobby was coffee, water and cookies along with a very friendly staff. The next morning we enjoyed breakfast. I expected cold rolls, etc but instead there were freshly scrambled eggs, potatoes and sausaged. Also, fresh fruit, yogurt, hardboiled eggs and a selection of rolls and breads. We reserved the same room for our return because it was quiet and convenient. The property is a little tricky to find ... there are several motels as well as resturants and stores nearby but it is located in a quiet corner

Excellent service from most of the staff. Nora did a great job taking care of my room. The breakfast is just okay, but it is included. I would definitely stay here again and recommend the hotel to others.

The hotel was very nice. The staff was very nice and friendly. It was very convinent to have the breakfast open until ten. The pool and spa were very well kept. We could not get the sauna to work. I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel is what you would expect from a Best Western Plus. Great staff. Upscale rooms with a wonderful atmosphere. Just the right balance to do business and family We look forward to our next stay there.

Friendly staff and clean room! Can't ask for more than that! The strawberry belgian waffles were delicious, and the kitchen/serving staff kept the food stocked and the sitting area clean and tidy. Thank you!

Great breakfast. Fast internet. Friendly staff. Easy access to freeway, restaurants, and mall. Definitely and above average hotel. All staff were helpful when we inquired of the. The only issue was we checked in at 9 PM and had to wait several minutes for someone to greet us.

Wonderful venue, great space, love the suite!! Worked well for our family and the breakfast was delicious and well presented! Little bummed when they ran out of a few things but overall superb experience!!

The staff was so amazing with everything! My daughter who is 4 was full of questions and every staff member seemed more than happy to answer all of her questions to her satisfaction. That means a lot to me!

The room was dirty, the carpet looked like it has never been cleaned; in the bathroom somebody put a patch and sanded it without cleaning after themselves; all the bed staff was torn and sewed together and also had a lot of stains; the mattress was very very old and used and I sank into it as soon as I sat on it. The room also smelled like cheap air freshener. When we asked the front desk clerk if there was any other room available he just said “no, they are all the same”. I do not need a big room with all the amenities and a jacuzzi but if I stay in a hotel that calls itself Best Western Plus I at least expect a clean room with a good mattress. None of that was provided. It looked more like an hour to hour motel rather than Best Western Plus near Portland, OR. We had to cancel our reservation and move to Springfield Marriott where we received great service, a spotless room and a comfortable mattress.

have never had a bad experience over several years staying at best westerns across there coverage areas in the US, they have quality properties and amenities and if I have a choice they are who I stay with for business and personal travel

We got a great deal on a weekday stay in a room with Jacuzzi. It was fantastic. Staff was great, room was clean and because I signed up for the free membership I was able to have early check in for free. The continental breakfast was disgusting. They used spray/squeeze cheese and precooked and reheated bacon. So gross.

We had great sleep here. The room was super quiet. Beds were very comfy. The breakfast was adequate with plenty of choices. Really good waffles.Check in and Check out was simple and efficient. Staff was friendly and helpful

On check in, the room had a sickening, overpowering smell of cleaning fluids. Over the next 24 hours that gave way to a nauseating stench reminiscent of an institutionalized old people's home. The hotel was filled with ‘questionable characters' and ‘delinquent appearing teens'. The non- smoking policy was continually violated, there were yelling matches in the corridors, an eviction and an early morning police raid! You couldn't make this up....and I didn't! I feel duped. We thought we were booked into a best western business hotel but found ourselves in an extended stay facility. My complaints were met with indifference and my review on the hotel website with a flippant canned response.

Best of the Best Western brand: Good bed; Good pool, tub spa, sauna; Seemed very clean; Attractive decor - made me feel comfortable and NOT depressed as some hotel upgrades can make me feel. Quiet; Close to Mall; Staff pleasant; Decent TV with good channel selection; The usual Complimentary Breakfast fare.

It has an updated lobby and a good breakfast. The beds were comfortable as were the pillows. Staff was friendly. Handy to the highways and yet the rooms were quiet. Close to the mall for shoppers. Don't expect perfect interior for rooms but they are comfortable and clean.

I really can't remember why I booked this hotel being we were visiting Portland but when we walked in I was happy. So clean. Room is a king suite and sizeable and clean They even left us candy and a makeup removing wipe. It's the little things. Comfy bed and comfy pillow. Aside from the little monster running around on the floor above this is top notch for us

If you are looking for a place with a great view this is not the hotel for you. If you are looking for a very nice pretty quiet place for a great price and easy access to everything from shopping to restaurants to easy freeway access this is it. This Best Western Plus hotel has all the amenities; indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, work out room, laundry and even a little convenience store in the lobby. The continental breakfast was one of the best we have ever had with a lot more choices than any others and good food. The room was very modern, clean and quiet. Water pressure and shower head may not seam important but if you travel often you know it is. Well the shower was great. The beds were comfortable with lots of good pillows. We were there for 4 nights and saw many of the staff and they were all friendly and helpful. Thank you Best Western Plus we will definitely be back.

Our family came together for my grandma's funeral. We all stayed. Over 70 of us. They worked with us and was very accommodating. They have an indoor pool and hot tub that the kids enjoyed. The breakfast had a great variety. The breakfast lady was working double time because of our group and did a great job. The front desk people were amazing. Very polite and professional. The house keepers were very nice and friendly. The 1st day we got there, There was an older gentleman who looked like the GM that was on his cell phone walking around talking really loud in the lobby and on the floor we were on. Wasn't very professional at all. Other then that we would go back in a heartbeat. It's right down the street from the mall walking distance.

How this place is a BW plus, I'll never understand. Being diamond select (highest loyalty level) I wasn't offered an upgrade or even a bottle of water. I've yet to determine what exactly diamond select actually offers me. Besides some fancy wording about a cool dedicated 800 number for making reservations. Yawn The place is creepy! The side exterior door is propped open and wouldn't lock. Several times I seen creepy people use it and then the side stairs going up to the higher floors. I also noticed creepy people lurking around my truck. Which I moved to the front of the hotel. Beds are horrible. WiFi is horrible. Lock your doors and hope the weirdos do break into your car. Better yet, just don't stay here. Many other adequate choices near by.

I was coming back into town and i surprised my bf with a romantic stay here. We had the best time! The jetted tub was amazingly relaxing! Great experience having a mimosa while sitting relaxing in the tub and comfortable bed.

This BW Plus was one of the nicest and most amenity rich non Premiere Best Western's I've ever stayed at. The pool and spa area are resort quality and the lobby and drink/snack choices all made me think resort hotel more than suburban mall. We also appreciated the guest laundry facility.

Very clean hotel and very accessible to I-205. Within walking distance to multiple eating establishments, large shopping mall, movie complex, and public transportation. Very pet friendly. Excellent multiple large exercise room with indoor swimming pool.

Over all welcoming staff, recognition for "rewards" status, Lovely room, great amenities, breakfast variety, and extended breakfast hours compared to other hotel chains. We try to book at this hotel when we stay in the Portland area.

Enjoyable stay. Location is really convenient if you know the area, but out of town guests got lost and we were behind schedule. Happily everything worked out and we did enjoy ourselves. Would definitely stay there again.

The rooms are big s and the beds are comfortable it is kid friendly place my kids had fun using the pool breakfast was good and satisfying parking was close to the entrance and the location is excellent very close to the mall

I stay at Best Western hotels whenever I can and this one did not disappoint. The room was huge and clean. The hotel is easily located off I-205 but walking anywhere from the hotel can be challenging with the traffic. The breakfast is on par with other locations, nothing special. Steamer trays are used to keep food hot but the bacon and potatoes become soggy. The pool and exercise facilities are clean and easy to use. I had a noisey room next door but one call to the front desk and the problem was solved without any trouble. I look forward to staying at this location again.

Visiting relatives... Selected because of location, previous BW experience and reasonable price. All employees of hotel were eager to please and very friendly. Breakfast was not elaborate, but was very nice... we ate there every morning. Hotel was VERY convenient to Portland International (PDX)... a less than 15 minute, very direct drive.

It is definitely what you would expect from a Best Western Plus. Great staff. And the king suits are very spacious and stylish. It accommodates space to do business as well as a place to relax after.You will not be disappointed with this hotel.

The BW brand includes blue & gold exterior colors. This one was in a business park, colors red & white - almost as if a Stanford grad decided to override Traditional colors. It made the BW hard to find and garish.

This is my entire family's hotel of choice when we visit Vancouver/ Portland to spend time with family. Staff is AMAZING... We are treated just like we are Friends and they make us feel so welcome and comfortable. Rooms are wonderful.... Beds are so cozy and everything is clean. Breakfast is YUMMY.... great selection and staff again is very accomodating.

It is a really great place to stay. However, it is a little bit expensive.. The staff was nice. The location is great. The place was clean and updated. I would stay there again and have stayed there a few times.

Dissatisfying from the check-in yo checkout —- dissatisfying from the moment of arrival at checking at front desk, to internet service, to checking out the next morning & then to listen to a lead female discipline a staff person for calling in sick was poor customer service

The beds were rock hard. I was worried about noise from the freeway but didn't hear anything. The hotel and room was very clean. Breakfast was ok, probably better than most.- cheese omelets, waffles, bacon, plain potatoes, assortment of juices and cereal.

When in the Vancouver area, we always stay with BWP at this location. It is centrally located for visiting family, not far from nature and the falls and it's a quick shot across the river to Portland. They have great service, professional and polite staff, great accommodations, always utilize the gym and plenty of choices at breakfast. The beds are comfy and always provide extra pillows, which for me is a plus. Always satisfied customers.

Right at the Vancouver Mall. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Got a Queen suite for under $90.00 on a week night. Pool and spa were clean and enjoyable. Close to many restaurants, nightlife and things to do.

Extremely loud men hanging out in the two storey lobby until 11:45 pm both Saturday and Sunday. The desk clerk ignored them. The second floor rooms are on a catwalk surrounding the lobby. It was ridiculous.

We pick this hotel because we like having a soaking tub in our room. We also like having the opportunity to swim in the pool. The soaking tub adds to the cost, but it allows us to unwind after hours of socializing. The location is great, the staff is great, and the price is reasonable.

Everything was good besides the room itself. Could hear every little thing and not very private. When door was opened could see the jetted tub that was in our room. Also could hear every person walking and talking past our room.

This is very close to the mall and restaurants, we booked a 2 king bed suite and it was very big and worked out perfect for the 5 of us. I would recommend this hotel, its a great hotel for a good price.

Dirty room. Hot tub did not work. Very noisy and not very comfortable. No remote for TV. Did not fix hot tub in a timely matter. Breakfast was cold. Eggs were still frozen. I was excited about my stay until I got to my room. From then I was there was just ready to go.

not much to say except I wish they were all like this one. everything was as it should be for BW plus. clean, everything worked, profesional staff, very good breakfast, fine location. easy parking, nice small fitness center. I would recommend to freinds and family for sure.

We have great time at this hotel. The location is great for shopping and close to the theaters and restaurants. Close to Oregon and Costco. The pool is excellent and our kids live close. We like the comfort and quiet area of the hotel to all our needs when we stay in Vancouver.

This was our second time staying here and we really love this place. The breakfast is really, really good and the room is awesome. We love that we can book a two bedroom....very unique. We look forward to the next time we stay here. Really nice!

Room nicely furnished, 2 queen beds non smoking! Had large dog with us so the extra room was greatly appreciated. Friendly staff, good food selection for complimentary breakfast. Area provided for doggie needs.

Good value for the money. I also took advantage of the double points offer in effect at that time. We have stayed at this location several times now. It's always nice to receive a free hot breakfast before embarking on the day and not having to "burden" our hosts.

We enjoyed the motel for the most part. The breakfast was not as expected from previous experience at other Best Western hotel we have stayed in. We were not satisfied with the pool and hot tub. I was looking forward to sitting in a HOT tub after dancing, this did not happen. The hot tub was not very hot.

This Best Western is in a nice location with the mall right there. It is quiet and clean. The staff is extremely helpful. I would recommend staying here. The beds aren't bad, just not my favorite otherwise the rating would be Excellent. Still highly recommended

I was in town after the death of a family member. After a long flight from overseas and the emotions of the day I was exhausted and needed a place to stay. I was able to get a suite and found exactly what I was needing! Peace, quiet and a very good nights sleep.

I have been staying at this location for over 20 yrs. to visit family. It has improved and as always the staff is most helpful.For the location to the mall it is excellant-restaurants and movies also. Close to freeways and staff always helps me print directions to a nd from where i need to go. Never had a noise issue and the rate has really not changed that much. Never had a problem with parking at any time of day, Coffee in lobby lots of seating.

The staff, hotel and food are awesome. Kerry the manager is a kind and wonderful manger and his staff reflect that! The beds are fabulous , and I suggest you ask for a room in the back away from the traffic. Although those rooms are quiet as well. The fourth floor is a non pet floor for thos of us with allergies.

Average hotel with some perks. Chose the hotel for the pool, hot tub, and work out facilities. Pool was trained and out of working order for 4/5 days of my stay. Hot tub also closed . Bummer, I could have stayed at a less expensive venue.

This hotel was very comfortable, room was very nice, hotel staff was very helpful, recommended nearby restaurant with directions on how to get to it. Breakfast was very good. Only problem we had was finding the hotel, directions to this hotel in AAA tour book were kind of confusing. (We do NOT have GPS)

We stayed at this hotel while visiting family in the Vancouver/Portland area. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable, shower water pressure was fantastic. However, the parking situation at the hotel is questionable. The stalls are very narrow, they only have 2 disabled parking spaces (which we need to use). The stalls are barely large enough to properly accommodate a small sedan. I drive a Honda Odyssey, and many other guests had full-size pick ups or SUVs. I had to fold in the exterior mirrors to prevent them from being damaged. Perhaps the owners of the hotel can make arrangements with the surrounding office buildings to get some of their parking or something. If you return to the hotel later in the evening, there were no parking spaces, and one had to park far from the entrance of the hotel -- not cool. The parking situation is the only complaint I have about this hotel.

We choose to stay here because of the excellence of this hotel. We have family here and the hotel staff is very kind to our family. We have stayed here on New Years Eve with all of our boys and their families and the hotel provided a room for us to gather with our family in here.

We are Best Western Rewards members and have been for years. We were able to use our points for this stay. Location is very good. Next to the Westfield mall and close to 205 freeway. WIFI was week but very comfortable stay.

While the staff is great I had a horrible experience. The people next to me had a dog barking all night!!!! Tried to get a different room they said they were sold out. If your going to allow dogs don't put them across from the pool or let them bark all night long!!!! Super frustrated! Back to Hilton for a reason

We had a short two night stay here. Requested adjoining rooms on the day and were accommodated with a smile. Very well located, particularly the walking distance to the mall. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We stayed at this hotel three years ago and loved it, so we went back and found that they have totally redone the hotel. Very modern ,clean and spacious. Great location and the free breakfast was very good. The entire staff was amazing, we will always come back to this property.

Staff was very helpful with directions to restaurants, how to access various highways, etc. Beds were very comfortable. Room was large which was nice since we have a dog. This is a clean, comfortable hotel. Good beds. Decent breakfast. Good food. Breakfast room was a little small for so many people. Could have been closer to downtown Vancouver, nice location if you like shopping at the mall. Wondered why school bus let kids off at hotel? Lots of dogs?

Very nice and clean with large rooms in a nice setting. Table and chair for the computer. Good sized counter around the sink. Nothing wrong with this place. Breakfast at the hotel was A plus. Omelets, Bacon, Potatoes, Hot oatmeal, Green Tea, usual bagels, breads and cereal. Yogurt and hard boiled eggs. Staff had gloves on that brought out the food. Breakfast area was clean. 9 tables with one for 6 people. Pleasant room to eat in. Being gluten free I could eat breakfast here.

VERY GOOD HOTEL, Consistent dependable quality. Rooms are clean, beds are good & it's an easy motel to relax in. Rooms have small microwave, counter height refrigerators & a coffee makers. Motel provides a hot breakfast with eggs, breakfast meat & an assortment of other breakfast items. Motel has easy freeway access.

We received excellent service at this hotel. Each person on staff was friendly, helpful and patient. The standard double queen room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was good and I appreciated the option of having soy over dairy milk. The hotel location was very convenient and in a safe location. I would recommend this place to a friend and stay here again.

This hotel was in a good location near restaurants and the Vancouver Mall so there was plenty to do. Breakfast did not have quite as many choices, for a diabetic, as I had hoped. It seems that choices at many hotels a extremely limited for those with limited food intake issues. The office staff was very friendly.

We first stayed at this hotel during my Mother in laws Funeral in June 2017. We had a large group of relatives and the hotel managed to put us all up and allowed us use of the breakfast area to hold a family meeting. The entire staff was very helpful and friendly, especially Megan Morgen the front desk manager. We had occasion to return in August 2017 when a much smaller family group arrived to clean my Mother in laws house to get it ready for sell, we arrived here on August 9th. And Megan Morgan once again helped keep all of the family on hand in rooms close to each other on the same floor. We are actually still here as we are staying until the 20th of August. I just wanted to get this review in before I forgot it. The rooms are comfortable and very nice, and the staff is always friendly. It is located on the Vancouver Mall and there are numerous restaurants and fast food in the area as well as several grocery stores.

I am truly grateful to the Owner and Staff of the Vancouver Mall Dr site for making our very stressful event easier to get through. Our house caught fire in the middle of the night and we called Best Western home for nearly 2 weeks, our 4 kids loved the pool and walking distance to the mall, I was relived to have our 2 big dogs with us and not kenneled. The food was very good. I am truly grateful to the amazing staff. Thank you for everything you have done for our family!

Wonderful experience at this Best Western. We've been staying at BW hotels the past 2weeks as we move across the country and this one is by far the best. The front desk was outstanding (especially Juan) and they made every effort to help our senior dog be as comfortable as possible too. Highly recommend staying here. The beds in the 2 bedroom suite were very comfortable as well.

I would highly recommend this hotel for family lodging. The staff was very professional and courteous. The maid service was very hospitable and kept the rooms very clean and tidy. The swimming pool was great, however, the weight room was the size of a closet.

We returned to the area and chose this hotel for a pre-flight, airport hotel. We again had a great experience with a clean room, efficient check in and check out. The breakfast was well stocked and served hot.

Although there is usually traffic delays on the bridge, it is never to long before you reach the exit to this hotel. It is a quick zip in and out of Portland, and very convenient to shopping and restaurants. Clean, quiet with nice rooms, safe parking and a nice pool.

We came to Vancouver, for a Little league playoff tournament in Portland over the weekend. The reviews and rates for Best Western were very good, as was the freeway access and shopping/restaurants close by. Easy parking, very friendly front desk help, spacious room and great breakfast. We were right across from the elevator, but it was still quiet at night. Everything worked well in our room, and it was nice having a view of trees out our 4th floor window.

I love Best Western, the rooms are always clean, the pillows and beds are comfy, and they always have a great selection for breakfasts! The staff is always welcoming and very helpful, and willing to assist anyway they can. Would recommend BW every time.

Spent one night on our way to Seattle. Checkin was easy, and because we wanted a room away from the elevator the girl at front desk switched us to room on the top floor away from the elevator. Easy internet and breakfast was fine. Usually stay at Heathman but rates here were a lot better.

I've stayed at this hotel every time I do business in Vancouver and find it clean, quiet, and efficient. Staff is always pleasant, beds are comfortable, and it is centrally located to my work. Price is very competitive with other like brand hotels. In fact, the hotel has better amenities than Hilton properties in Vancouver.

This hotel offered numerous very nice amenities for a comfortable and pleasant stay in the Portland/Vancouver area. I was here to photograph a wedding and the hotel provided an excellent "base camp" for meeting the couple and their relatives. The parents also stayed there and the hotel was close to all the events that transpired. I'm finding that lodging close to major airports is getting prohibitive in cost, but I suppose this was worth it. Overall a very nice stay.

Was planning on staying 4 nites at Comfort Suites off the I 5 Freeway near downtown Vancouver, where am a platinum member, but after one gruesome night Taylor at Best Western plus bailed me out on EVERY level. Upon going to bed late at night the first day at this hotel I discovered a tick on my pillow. I captured the tick with a tissue and went down to the receptionist to show her what I had found on my pillow. She was surprised and did not know what to do, since the hotel was completely booked. She called her supervisor on the phone and he told her that they had no other rooms available for my wife and I to be able to occupy and that they were not going to reimburse me for the room. I was forced to completely remove all of the bed covers and sheets in the room and sleep on one bed that my wife and I believed to be free of any infestation. The following day the hotel did move us into a room that had not been occupied by a guest with an animal on the fourth floor. We had agreed with the hotel to pay on for half the price for each room since the owners were not complementing any rooms, however the next day that we checked out the were only going to make us pay the full price of the one night in one room and half price for the room that had the tick in it. We had agreed that the hotel should only charge half price for each room since they were not provide comp the room with the tick. Eventual they charged us what we had agreed to. My wife and I had to move all of our clothing and were never provided any assistance or apologies for the condition of the room we had to endure.

Stayed here on business to Portland. Conveniently located close to airport and easy 8 minute drive to very nice brewpubs( Heathen ). It was very nice, clean, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Beautiful rooms. Great front counter, kitchen and maid staff. Very friendly and good food. Was a great place to stay for business travel. Parking was a bit tight and the elevator was a hard to read due to the way the overhead lights hit the red numbers above the door.

Our three day stay was excellent. My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Plus to take in the sights at the Columbia River Gorge as well as the Rose Gardens of Portland. The entire stay at the BW was pleasurable. The close restaurants made for convenient dining at excellent eateries. We used the same BW as our last night in the area before catching an early flight home. The hotel's interior was clean and our service was good as we have grown to expect from BW.

This is an excellent hotel choice for the Portland area. It's convenient to the expressways and is the best hotel breakfast we've had in a while. Pool area is nice, and if you can afford the extra $ (about $20 I think) get the room with the jacuzzi tub.

Great location! Great staff! Great, spacious and clean room. The shower was fantastic with really good water pressure and very good drainage. Free breakfast in the morning was really convenient. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff was great, so friendly. The room was clean and spacious for our family of five. The breakfast was perfect, anything you could ever need! Also loved the hot coffee and cookies when we arrived. We will definitely be back.

Staff was very friendly and hotel was a good deal with nice appearance. Late afternoon cookies in the lobby was a nice touch. Daily breakfast was well stocked. Also good location out of heavy traffic areas but still convenient access to needs.

Do not want to criticize any more. Have been to several Best Western Hotels on my 7000 miles trip. Very few are good and having welcoming warmth. Rooms are no longer that clean, bathrooms look clean but no ventilation. Breakfast quality is on the bottom. Some places you stop by seems to exploit based on your check in time, availability of family size even after you disclose that you are member of Best Western.

A really great, clean and friendly Best Western. I asked for a really quiet room and the room I was assigned to was #413. It was not only quiet, but also very comfy, clean and nice. Front desk crew was very friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend this hotel and I will return to this location if I travel back to this area

I really enjoyed my stay at the Best Western Vancouver Mall. It is conveniently located near the 205 Freeway, restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, historical areas, and other points of interest. It is 15-20 minutes to Portland, OR International Airport. I have stayed at this hotel five different times and will return on my next visit to Vancouver, WA.

Whenever I Visit Vancouver, WA. I stay at the Best Western Plus Vancouver Mall Drive Hotel and Suites. This time, however the price was just too much, I feel the price I paid could have been better, than the price received, especially since I ONLY stay at this hotel when I visit. I don't think my loyalty to this hotel was taken into consideration when quoted the price per night by Christine?(day shift young lady) even if she couldn't decrease price anymore it would have been nice to feel as if she really cared and was trying to help me regarding my price concern. I felt as if her actions was saying this is the price, so take it or leave it, I don't care if you've stayed here every time you visit, I'm in charge now and I just quoted you the lowest price I want to give you, so you decide to take it or leave it.(she didn't actually verbalize this, but this was my paradigm) It would have made a world of difference , had she made an effort to show she was truly concerned about my dilemma of the high price by at least speaking with boss, etc. even if the price wasn't lowered it's all in the customer service. However I still enjoyed my stay.

Travelling on a motorcycle in the rain required a pit stop for the night. It was great to see a BW when we needed one. The continental breakfast is a great added benefit. The ladies on the desk were efficient. Hotel room was clean and spacious. Liked the separate shower/toilet area.

Wonderful comfortable place to stay. Clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. They provide items you may have forgot at home like a toothbrush at no extra cost. Also offer a grab and run bag with water, fruit and granola bar at no cost. I can not say enough regarding how impressed I was at my stay here.

We stayed here two days. The room is great very modern & spacious . Very easy to drive here fro i5 HW . It is closed to the mall . We ate dinner in red roubin restaurant -good place for guyies love hamburgers.the staff in the hotel are friendly and helpful. This hotel is a jewel. Everything was great. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was great, the wifi worked well and the beds were comfortable. My only regret is that I only stayed one night there. You can't go wrong with this hotel.

I stayed at this same hotel a week ago, and it was great, so I back again. Nice room, nice breakfast, Free WiFi and no problems. Sometimes there was a bit of a wait for an elevator. When this is the only complaint I can think of, I am happy.

This Washington state hotel needs a sun shine look upgrade. It is a clean look hotel. Depressing room but in good order. Has a large size indoor pool, spa and sauna on the first floor. Bring your kids. Including breakfast. Clean surrounding area. Close to the Vancouver Mall and restaurants.

Was quoted $129/night for 3 nights. I specifically asked for a room with a separate bedroom (suite) as one in our group snores and a 2nd bathroom would have made the trip easier. We got one open room with 2 Queen beds and a couch with 1 Bath. When I complained I was told I would get a discount. I got a AAA discount which I already had to begin with as I am a BCAA member. So no discount was given for the room mixup. Then upon checkout I was overcharged above and beyond the $129/night I was originally quoted ($159/night). I was told only the manager could refund money and was not in until the next day (I was driving back to Canada the day of checkout). I am STILL waiting for a call from the manager to remedy the situation.

We stay there for 5 nights and had a great stay. The staff is wonderful and very helpful anything you may need or want or help with they can do it. And they have the best breakfast you can ask for as they have everything. Over all if your in Vancouver stay here you will love it.

Our family of four stayed here for two full nights and had a great time. The kids enjoyed the heated pool and all the amenities provided. We all enjoyed the continental breakfast and the large room. Highly recommend.

I read the reviews for hotels near the Portland airport. Hampton was rated a little better and we stayed there the night we arrived. They were booked the night prior to our departure so we stayed at Best Western Plus Vancouver Mall. We were upgraded to the Jacuzzi Suite when we arrived which was a pleasant surprise and we did enjoy the Jacuzzi. I did not see why the Hampton was rated a little better. This Best Western Plus was all of what the Hampton was and more if I would have had time for the breakfast that smelled out of this world, I would say it was the best hotel of the five we stayed in on this trip.

Really wonderful staff, very clean, great breakfast, and close to many things! Also, very safe location for families to stay and feel comfortable! Everyone was very accommodating and helpful. Clean pool, hot tub, and spa area.

The price has gone up and makes it unaffordable. Sorry. We have an rv that we will have to use it more. We visit a dying relative there and prefer your hotel especially in winter and cooler months. Too bad the rewards at BW dont happen more quickly!

This is another fine Best Western Plus. The staff is very helpful. The rooms I've had at this hotel are very spacious and clean. There is no road noise. The hallways are carpeted which eliminates interior noise. The breakfast is very good. The internet signal is strong. I stay here every time I come to Vancouver.

We plan to visit Vancouver again and we will stay here! The room was gorgeous and large. Our family of four had plenty of space in this comfortable room. The beds were extremely comfortable too! Great location and great service! I would have to make something up to complain. I can't wait to return.

We were greeted by great staff and received an extraordinarily large room with nice furnishings, microwave and fridge as well as internet access, In general, the other amenities were nice. There is no onsite restaurant or bar, but soft drinks and microwavable junk food are for sale in the lobby. The complementary coffee in the lobby was delicious. There were tea bags for non- coffee drinkers. The pool and spa offer relaxation for those who need it. For us, the room was relaxing enough. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast that offered a little bit of everything. We would return in a heartbeat.

We were there for a ball tournament. It was a great stay. Staff was very friendly and always pleasant. Food was great!! The rooms were clean and decorated beautiful. Would definitely recommend staying here.

After getting our room key which didn't work went back to see Taylar at the front desk. They discovered their key coder wasn't working due to low batteries with no replacements or a back-up key coder. Both girls at the front desk were still smiling even though they were very stressed out. They ended up letting us into our room so we could unpack and delivered room keys to us within the hour once the key coder was operational again. Nice clean rooms. Ended up being next to noisy neighbors that quieted down around 11pm after a call from the front desk.

This is a really nice hotel, friendly staff, efficient. There's 2 comp stations in the lobby with a printer, I haven't seen that before & loved that choice. The location is extremely close, walking distance from the Vancouver Mall which is huge & has a really nice movie theatre & there's a lot of nice restaurants close by too. Clean, quiet, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Check in lady helped us find a parking spot, quite full lot. The breakfast lady was constantly cleaning and set out fresh hot food. The rooms were very clean, quiet and big, bed was so comfortable.

very clean and friendly staff - this was only a block or two from the Mall - a very warm and inviting hotel. Didn't care for the sink being right in the bedroom but since I was alone - it was ok. Bed was very comfy - pillows too. Didn't find a port or plug my cell phone in but it could have been there - I didn't ask.

During 5 night stay this location was perfect, easy access to main highways in all directions and close to several family members we visited. Our room was quite large and did not feel like a regular hotel room which made 5 nights very comfortable!

The 1st 2 days were $222. but the 3rd day was $170. I think it is a rip off. The bed was way to hard for the price but the staff was very good. We go here about the same time every year and are Best Western / AARP members. This is not acceptable.

Great rooms, great staff, great wifi, nothing to complain about here. My son left his northface coat in the closet and they had it back to my doorstep with 4 days. Definitely my go to spot from now on whenever I head to the Vancouver / Portland area.
