Best Western Plus Valemount Inn & Suites

What a great hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the free breakfast buffet was excellent. We've been to other breakfast buffets that costed over $20 that weren't as good as this one... and this one was included.

The hotel lounge is so cozy, with a large fireplace in the middle and good views of the surrounding mountains. Our room was clean and the kitchenette had everything we needed. Staff was very friendly and helpful, zero complaints about our stay!

After a long day of driving with out infant we checked in. We noticed mice in the room and informed the front desk. They offered us a mouse trap before another room. I got a hold of the manager after I left 3 messages and got a small compensation. The mouse issue was dismissed saying they leave near a marsh. We paid for a room. If we want to camo we could and save a lot of money we would have.

A great hotel, clean and friendly, with a fantastic breakfast. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because there prices fluctuate so much that sometimes it is not worth even calling to see what there price is. The last few times I have checked prices they have varied between $280.00 per night to $135 per night. $280.00 is way out of my budget. The heater inn the room was a bit loud but still able to sleep. I was very pleased to get $135 per night this time.

Nice hotel that is well kept and has great staff. Hot tub and pool were fantastic. This place has the best bacon you will ever have. Location is a bit far from "downtown" Valemount, but you can walk there in 20mins.

Quarterly October Business Trip to Valemount BC . Regular stay at BW . Staff and services are always top drawer. Change over to new staff members is positive. Facilities are always great . Specially now the pool is back in action

There was noise in the walls all night. Hotel staff barged into room at 9am without knocking. Front desk gaslit by front desk saying they knocked and it is hotel policy to enter rooms after 9am. This policy was not made clear at check in. Was told I would recieve points for a free stay. No points were ever recieved.

Lovely hotel with very nice rooms. Fantastic breakfast buffet included! Really nice quiet location with access to a nature walk. Very comfortable and well set up rooms with easy access to the outside.

A great hotel. Nice and clean. We were so tired and having the restaurant just down the hall was a bonus:). The restaurant menu was terrific. The complimentary breakfast was delicious ( real eggs, crispy bacon, a nice dark roast coffee). The staff were professional and friendly. Glad they had one room left for us

This was our second stay at this BW, room was clean, front desk very friendly. Super clean, great staff. The lounge was a great experience and the food was excellent! Coming back for a longer stay next time. Highly recommend.

I always have a good experience at this hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. The pool area is well maintained and allows us to relax after a long drive. We always enjoy our stay, at least six times a year.

Had a suite, beautiful, clean room. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was amazing! Hot, fresh food. Lots of choices. Check-in lady was very friendly and helpful with choices of places to go for dinner (restaurant in hotel was closed on Monday's).

Valemount is a busy place with both travellers and workers, and hotel rooms are often hard to find. I think BW is the nicest hotel, but it doesn't come cheap. Lovely lounge and patio area to the South with grass and connecting to local paths. Upper south rooms have balconies, but we were in a pet friendly room on the main floor facing the parking lot. That said, the room was quiet, and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was the best we've seen in a while. Actual home made food! Not a great selection of TV channels. A ways from town itself, just to be aware.

Over priced and under delivered. Rooms are ok.. But definitely over priced!! Grease stains on carpet, torn leather on couch, shower rod bairly hanging in, breakfast was excellent!! This room should not be more that $175 upper night... Not $340..totally gouged

Dependable place to stay; very expensive but the best place to stay between Edmonton and Langley. But you need more accessible rooms. One assessable room is certainly not enough for this hotel. You are a family a hotel & a workers hotel, but not an assessable hotel.

This is a great hotel to stay at if breaking up the drive to Vancouver from Edmonton. Pool and slide if travelling with kids - nice walking area if travelling with dogs. Breakfast is included-very good. All day access to Tea/ Coffee /Lattes.

Breakfast buffet had great choices including hot meals, Rooms were priced a bit high, as are most places during peak tourist season. Rooms were clean and it was easy to get rest if traveling for work in the area.

Urine puddles at behind lids of toilet noticed after closing lids, we checked in late in a pet friendly room, so had no choice but to keep the room as hotel was full. This tells me that the housekeeping is far from what it should be

Nice place, a little lodge feeling. Front desk was friendly. Room had 3 large beds ( fam of 5) and it had a pool that was nice and warm. Breakfast was great. Central to a lot of beautiful mountain places and trails. The town itself doesn't have a ton to do but it was great value overall.

This hotel is over priced and seriously under staffed; to the point that the restaurant isn't even open daily. But the few employees they do have are running like crazy doing their very best! Beds are comfy. Rooms are clean.

I'm a avid sports fan and was very disappointed to find out that this large chain hotel didn't provide TSN. This fact ruined my experience. I will say however that the manager tried to access it for me on the lounge TV's and on the guest computer but those options didn't work. I was impressed with how hard she tried.

Took my son up to check the snow conditions. Best place to stay in valemount. Staff is alway there to help, food is good. Hot tub is alway warm and ready when we get back from snowmobiling. Rooms are comfy and quiet.

Entered the lobby quite late at night and was greeted warmly. The lobby area had a fireplace going with a lodge feeling. So welcoming! We were quickly off to our suite which we highly recommend. Big shout out to housekeeping! That room was immaculate! Lots of space in the suite and it's nice to have a separate living room and bedroom. Spacious bathroom with great tub ended the day nicely. We really weren't here long but want to come back and spend a few days real soon! Thanks for a great stay to all the staff.

Nice Enviromint, Nice service, and Nice breakfast, beautiful view. reasonable price, outside deck, I feel very comfortable when I am sitting in lounge, enjoy the breakfast and watching outside snowing over the mountain. The best hotel in this area,

This hotel definitely meets the Best Western Plus standards! Our pet-friendly room was clean and suited our need for a separate bedroom. The lobby, balcony and dining room are very airy and spacious, and the included breakfast was good -- nice variety of items, pleasant staff and a quiet atmosphere.

Stayed at this hotel several times now and I love it. High quality amenities and service. The lounge bar area is fantastic. Having the restaurant downstairs is very convenient. Rooms have 3 seater couches which is great. Everything you'd expect from a high quality hotel with a lovely atmosphere in the lounge.

Had a pleasant evening at an event with about 50 attendees. There were food stations which included finger food and tongues which as we know everyone touches to dish up their food. I searched the room including the bar but could not locate a single dispenser of hand sanitizer! Really?!!? After all we have been through over the past years and the still ongoing spread and risks of contracting Covid it seems the least a responsible establishment should do is help in the prevention of illness and provide hand sanitizer. In fact, Covid or not, any buffet should include sanitizer. The food was very tasty but 3 stars is all I can give because of this major gaff.

My stay at the Best Western Valemout Was nice. Very friendly staff restaurant food was awesome, lounge food was awesome and the room was good. I would recommend this Best Western to anyone travelling through Valemount.

Excellent beds, friendly and efficient staff, good location, clean accommodations and fairly quiet being next to the highway. The restaurant had a limited menu for me as a vegetarian but I did enjoy the mushroom potstickers for a meal. The hotel was very busy and we were checked in quickly and without any issues. We will utilize this hotel on future trips.

We stayed here on our way back to Vancouver Island in early October 2022. Check in was fast and efficient. They had some cookies available and I didn't take any but I probably should have as they looked delicious. The lounge area is quite beautiful. We had our dog with us and we were quite pleased that the room we were provided with had no carpeting. One less thing to worry about. They had us up on the second floor, but we were quite close to the stairs/elevator so it was easy to get out to take her to the bathroom. The room was quite quiet. We never heard any of our neighbors. There was a bit of running around in the hallways but that quieted down well before bedtime. Our room looked over the parking lot but it was still a quiet night. The room was fairly roomy. We had two queen size beds, so there was lots of room for the two of us. There was a fridge with freezer as well as a microwave. Just down from our room there was also ice and a cooler providing hot or cold water which was nice for filling up our water bottles. All toiletries were available and there were lots of towels. There is a restaurant on site, but we did not use it in the evening. We only went for the free continental breakfast. Speaking of the breakfast it had a lot of variety. Hot food, as well as breakfast cereals, yoghurts, breads lots of juice. It's a large space and even though it was busy it was able to accommodate everyone. The only downside to the hotel is its location as it is south of Valemount. So it's a little bit out of town. We had a little bit of trouble trying to figure out what do for dinner as there is not a lot to offer in Valemount. It is a pretty town in terms of location but there are not a lot of options. I couldn't find a Slurpee for the life of me.

Lovely, friendly staff. Nice conference facilities with catering services. Clean, quiet rooms, restaurant provided excellent healthy choices at fair prices. Free EV charger. Nice walking distance to downtown.

We enjoyed our recent stay at the BW Valemount, BC. Everything was clean, loved the decor in the lounge area and the rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast was good. Would definitely stay again.

I just feel like the team and management of this hotel should be proud. Service, cleanliness, comfort and accessibility all rolled into one. We will definitely stay here, dine here and relax here again on our next trek through valemount. Check in was brisk, as was check out. The team was informative and the stay was quiet. You can't ask for much more.

This was an A+ experience with our dog! One of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in. Quick, easy, timely check-in and quick check-out. Nice breakfast as well. We did not have one issue or complaint - not one! Highly recommend.

Loved this hotel from start to finish! It is kept spotless, is dog-friendly and has great amenities. The back of the hotel has it's own grassy courtyard with picnic tables,a few benches and a fire pit, just so pretty considering most hotels in this price range are surrounded by pavement. Beyond the large grassy area is a forested nature preserve with gorgeous walking trail! So peaceful and pretty. The suite we were in was lovely, two bedroom, tasteful vinyl plank floors. Yay, no carpet!Each room had it's own TV. It looked recently renovated, the beds were great. I personally love a tub, and it was spotless and comfortable! There is a lounge, and some limited food services between certain hours, we never took advantage of, but offers options. The coffee machine in the open lounge area is easy to operate and offers one-touch specialty coffees, which is a nice touch. You can grab a cappuccino to go! I thought the staff were also all very friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Standard hotel room. Nothing to complain about. Room was clean. They gave us cookies and poop bags for our dog. Breakfast average. Fitness room was ok and looked like it had a decent selection of equipment/free weights/cardio but for the love of god, replace the carpets! No fitness room should have carpets! Also yoga mat needs to be replaced. Disintegrating.

We stayed two nights at the hotel and had a great stay. The staff were friendly, good breakfast included, free “posh” coffee machine in the reception area and cookies in the afternoon which was a nice touch. We made use of the facilities (pool, waterslide and jacuzzi) which were all good.

Stayed for a night on our way to the Okanagan, has had some upgrades and renovations, looks to be semi dated still, check in was friendly, could be quant during the winter season, the grounds looked very lush and well maintained, the breakfast was very good and the breakfast attendant was very welcoming and friendly.

Our allocated suite had two comfortable queen sized beds in separate rooms without doors. The room was attractively furnished and very clean. The in room frideg proved very useful. The buffet breakfast was rather limited but adequate for a one night stay. We chose to take dinner at the excellent Caribou Grill in the centre of Valemount.

Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel allowed us to store our bikes in the room. Kids loved the pool with waterslide! Large parking lot was nice as it allowed some elbow room loading and unloading bikes & gear. Great family hotel.

My family stayed here overnight on a road trip. We were thoroughly disappointed. The floor was not clean. The ceiling light flickered. There was a lot of noise. Flushing the toilet rattled the plumbing. The beds were uncomfortable. We were travelling with a dog. When we went to breakfast, the lady at the front told us to pick whichever table we wanted. When we did, the guy inside chased us out because we had a dog. Then, when we sat down on the patio, the door had locked behind us, so we had to go around the building to get back inside just to get our food. The Best Western survey asks if the front desk thanked us for being a rewards member and presented us with our check in gift. They didn't. Really, the only positive thing my family and I had to say about this hotel was that the coffee machine in the lobby made good coffee.

We recently stayed for three nights. I have usually stayed at the Best Western Plus hotels in my travels. Clean, quiet, all good EXCEPT no room service! For three days! Where does my 275$/ night go? Several towels appeared 2 days in. nothing else. Also, the TV did not work. I had to ask the front desk twice to get it going. Im not happy. I have been collecting point for several years now.

Surprised to find such a good hotel in the area - previously unknown and many times driven past. The restaurant was very good with an innovative menu and the waitress unafraid to give opinions when requested - and she was right! She was also cheerful and helpful - wish we'd thought to ask her name to thank in person.

Customer service was excellent. The room was clean. The hot breakfast was great! Lisa from the kitchen was so nice. She gave us a heads up to where we are going and she allowed us to have our breakfast “to go” because we have an activity to attend in Jasper at 11 am. We will be late if we have our breakfast there because it's a few hours away from the hotel. We just ate our breakfast in the car while travelling. And by the way, we love the flavoured coffee in the lobby!

Hotel exceeded our expectations and my family really enjoyed the swimming pool with water slide. The complimentary super automatic programmed coffee maker was a welcomed plus for my wife and I. This IS the best hotel in Valemount and the staff's attention to detail shows.

We were able to call and book for a last minute one-night stay. Easy check-in, nice dinner and even used the gym and hot tub. Pretty spot with nice grounds with a path so you can walk around. Breakfast looked really good but finished at 9:30, which was a little too early for us but we were able to take a few things to go.

Wonderful stay. The hotel provides a wonderful breakfast Lots of options and a beautiful garden with doors from the restaurant. We were traveling with our small dog who enjoyed having breakfast with us in this outdoor seating area. The great coffee machine providing special types of coffees in the lobby is great! This will definitely be our stop when traveling to Vancouver or Okanagan

We had a great stay for 2 nights with our pets this time! The renos the hotel has done are good. I was so happy that the pet room didn't have carpet and they put us on the main floor near an exit leading to a walking path. This all was so well thought out for traveling with pets! We had everything we needed for a couple nights. Everything was really clean and the staff were friendly. We loved the pool and the waterslide was a bonus! Even the temperature of the pool (warm) and hot tub (not too hot) was perfect! The only thing that would make the stay better would have been a later breakfast time. We're on vacation so don't want to get up early for breakfast, so sadly we missed out on that.

We've enjoyed two nights lay over in Valemount - making our way to The Rockies and taking a few days to explore the Yellowhead and Mount Robson region. After travelling from Vancouver to Whistler then onto Kamloops, the two nights were a refreshing time for us all in the area and particularly the hotel which despite being full on our first night, never felt busy, but very relaxed and chilled. The hotel interior is on first impressions dated but the rooms look to have been modernized fairly recently and everywhere is clean - seems to be an army of cleaning staff on hand all the time. The receptionists all where very helpful - young and bright ready to answer any query, and a great welcome when we first arrived. We are in the attached restaurant the first night and although the food was good, there were big quantities that are hard to finish! Waiting staff all very friendly and helpful including at Breakfast when it is at its busiest. I didn't realise that The Hotel stay included Breakfast, as it was noted as room only on our travel voucher so relieved as Valemount has limited eating places open so early. Final thing to note is the Pool area that we used both days - great for family - just be careful on the slide - definitely not for adults as it is too fast for the shallow pool. One boy came down too fast and caught his toe on the bottom dislocations it and was in quite some pain. If there was a critical point to make it would be about the slide - just be careful! Finally - don't be out off by the hall decor or jazzy music, the accomodation is good value and quality for sojourners heading along Highway 5.

The hotel was super clean, place perfect to rest and enjoy. My only comment will be to reserve a table in advance at the Restaurant as there is no enough space for all the guests. Special in the summer when the time is very long.

We have stayed at Best Western every year for about 10 years. Always pleased with accomodations. Only problem is its a very popular hotel and its not always possible to get a room, especially in summer.

Stayed here for a night on a road trip back east from Vancouver island. Place is a typical BW. Good breakfast, really nice lobby/lounge area, etc. They did use some fragranced cleaning product in the lobby area to which I was allergic, and they could perhaps improve traffic flow through the breakfast area to ease some congestion. The cranberry marsh walking trail is excellent, providing some great views and good exercise. Som sections of it were pretty buggy, so long clothing and/or bug spray are advised.

I've always been a fan of BW hotels but this particular one in Valemount exceeded my expectations. Located right off the highway on your way to Alberta from BC, it is very conveniently located and has a restaurant attached so you can dine after a long road trip! The hotel boasts a beautiful foyer and excellent customer service. The lounge is elegantly decorated with wood carvings and gives the feeling of being in the mountains! The bar offers complimentary fresh and hot coffe/tea 24/7. Ice cold water machines and ice machines available 24/7. We stayed in room 224 on the 2nd floor and enjoyed 3 very comfortable queen beds, air conditioned clean room, and a super clean bathroom with all the amenities. We also took advantage of the indoor pool with slide which stays open till 10 pm daily and comes equipped with towels in case you need extras. The Summit Grill restaurant was our go-to diner and had delicious choices with generous size portions. We tried their Bison Burgers and they were amazing! Highly recommend the yam fries and the spinach salad with grilled chicken, candied pecans and apples! Parking is also free and secure. Will definitely stay here everytime we're in Valemount!

We booked at the BW for our first annual corporate retreat! The General Manager and staff went out of their way to ensure that our stay was the best it could be. The conference room was beautiful and had all the amenities you could possibly need. The lounge was an awesome place for us all to meet casually and the included breakfast was incredible. It was a perfect first retreat thanks to the hard work of the GM and his team.

Excellent place to stay, very clean and a very good breakfast, Staff are very helpful and pleasant. Good location to Jasper nd interior or when travelling to the coast.. Dinner in the restaurant could be better, menu could also be better, restaurant servers very polite and courteous,

When we booked this hotel their site stated the pool refurbishment would be complete by mid June, by the time we arrived in late June it had slipped to July which was a dissapointment. We were looking forward to a swim after a long drive. The hotel staff were welcoming and efficient and the room was spacious, quite and comfortable. Breakfast was included but it was not clear why so much disposable plates and cutlery was used in a restaurant that serves on normal stuff in the evening. Not environmentally friendly

The room was clean and cozy. Internet and television were working as expected. The front desk team were friendly and quick to answer questions. The restaurant staff were wonderful and accomodating with menu options. The complimentary breakfast was nice, better than some Best Westerns I've stayed at. I would definitely stay again

This is the perfect spot - EXCEPT for the bedding - they need to get much better sheets/ linens for bed! THey feel like plastic, are sweaty and not nice. We travel a lot and this is the worst bedding i have seen in years .

What a great stay! Thank you Best Western Valemount staff and team. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Dinner was great at the Summit Grill and Kirk, our server was entertaining and knowledgable. After dinner, we thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the lounge beside the fireplace on a rainy night. The room was big enough to get a workout, and stretch in but we chose to hit the gym. All that you would need is there. The complimentary breakfast is very generous with a variety of hot and cold food items. It goes well beyond comp breakfasts at other places - well done! There is a fantastic walking trail right from the property grounds, so cool. Thanks, we'll be back!

Have stayed here for many years and the quality of service, cleanliness always remains high. Staff are amazing! It is the best place to decompress after a long days drive. Beautiful hotel grounds, lovely nature walk loop surrounded by the mountains. Highly recommend it!

Exceptional service at the reception, fantastic vista outside and an excellent restaurant summarize pretty well our stay at this hotel. The dinner and the buffet breakfast were both excellent. Staff very accommodating and professional. Hotel seems very well managed despite staff shortage issues (like everywhere in the hospitality industry these days). Very comfortable bed and quiet at night. We have stayed at several Best Western hotels over the years but this one is a crown jewel for the chain. Strongly recommended.

This is a nice and clean hotel. It's cosy and not to big. It has a grill restaurant in home that serves excellent food. The pool area was currently unavailable due too renovation works. It also has a cosy bar and nice garden.

We had a late check in and the staff were very friendly and prompt in getting us settled. The room was very clean and spacious, the breakfast was amazing, so many items to choose from and you can take it to go.

The pool was not operational at the time we stayed here, but the room was huge and had a balcony and a jacuzzi. The sheets felt fantastic. Everything was just great. So restful after a very full day on the road. The restaurant is like an upscale pub and food is simple, but delicious. Lobby is beautiful. The distant mountain view to the back is somewhat obscured by trees, but still beautiful. Staff is great, and room is very clean.

Having a reservation is an asset because this hotel is very busy. Completed on line pre-check-in so all was ready for me. Restaurant was very busy but worth the wait. Dinner items were excellent. I had breakfast in the morning which was included with my room. Also excellent food.

I found the staff friendly and willing to help if I needed anything. The restaurant was closed during my stay but the menu looked good and I would of tried it if it was open. The staff has made a list of restaurants that are open for pick up on the Days they are closed.

Orion the desk clerk checked us in. He was super friendly and funny. I really enjoyed our interaction. We were pleasantly surprised to find a nice nature walk loop around Cranberry marsh. What a great way to stretch your legs after a long drive. Beautiful views at sunset.

We had a great stay. It's kid friendly with a pool. We didn't use it but it has a slide. We were pleasantly surprised with breakfast included. There's variety and even fresh waffles. Kid friendly and healthy choices. Coffee is also great. Staff is so accommodating and friendly. They genuinely want you to have a great stay.

Very good overall stay. I find the nightly prices a little high - but I think that's a Valemount thing. So friendly & accommodating with my Rottie that travels with us. I have stayed before this, and will continue to stay here in trips through the area.

This is not a hotel, it is a home. The staff at this location make you feel at home with their passion to help and have you feel at home even if you are on work trips. I stay at this hotel alot over the course of the last 2 years and live in hotels way too often. The staff here are the most loyal and friendly people you'll meet. Great breakfast, great staff at the bar and rooms are very clean

Our group had a 5 day sled trip. The room was perfect for 3 of us each having a queen bed. The bed and pillows are like sleeping on clouds. The staff and food were amazing thank you to the staff at the BW Valemount for everything.

Wonderful hotel with friendly staff. We stayed here overnight on our road trip. Check in was easy and front desk staff was very kind. Room was spacious and the kids loved the pool and water slide. Breakfast was pre ordered the evening before so you could choose a time to pick up in the morning. Only minor flaw was my breakfast pick up time was 7am and didn't receive breakfast until 730am. The hotel was FULL of sledders and pipeline workers so the extra time it took was understandable. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!

Excellent service, some of the best food and drinks in town. The restaurant is a must for dinner. We spent the weekend there for sledding. The hot tub was open and was great to be able to use after a long day of riding

Property is overall really nice. We had a pet friendly room. The room had no carpet, was on the main floor and very near an exit door. The room was clean and comfortable. We had dinner and the complimentary breakfast in “to go” style, and were happy with the quality of the food. Overall good, and would stay again if staying in the area.

The room was clean and tidy. The breakfast provided was great; ready on time and the service for breakfast was fantastic. The lady every morning was bright and cheery and started everyone's day of just how you should enjoy a holiday.

Every time we walk in they make us feel so at home. Restaurant food quality is awesome. Pool and hot tub are always a hit with family and friends. Plenty of parking for snowmobile trailers also makes life a lot easier

I had the pleasure of staying at the best western in Valemount. EXTREMELY comfortable beds, good food in their restaurant, and very nice staff. The best part was the waterslide, pool and hot tub! I HIGHLY recommend staying here!

Rooms were clean as always, front staff is excellent. Lounge and restaurant are closed Sunday Monday. Definitely expensive for 210/night. Sad to see the snowmobile #1 hotel cater to the pipeline. I understand business but the pipeline will leave and will you get all you old customers back?

We spent a night with our dog as a winter storm was coming in. We have done this several times in the past at this hotel and always had a great experience. We have a full size dog and the staff had a bag with treats and toy for her. The restaurant was closed which was the only negative but understand the reasons. The staff went out of their way to find some diet soda in the hotel as the vending machine had none. The pet room has vinyl or laminate flooring and was spotless and works very well with pets. We have recommended this hotel to many of our friends doing the drive from Alberta to BC or vice/versa. We will definitely stay there again.

Excellent service, clean rooms, quiet, and decent food. I really appreciated the guy at the front desk when I was checking in. He took the time to explain everything to me, and when people called in, he politely told them that he was helping a customer and would call them back.

I just need a quiet place to have a relaxation and sleep and enjoy the atmosphere around me. I really like the way I was able to order breakfast or a meal and pick it up at the time that it supposed to be ready was great I love the loan so I can bring my own beer or drinks in. Disappointed that the bar was closed. Love the fireplace.

Nice clean hotel with friendly staff. Could not believe how comfortable the beds were and how soft the pillows were. Delicious breakfast included and served efficiently in boxes(due to covid). Unfortunately the pool was closed on our trip back which was a disappointment as I was really looking forward to using the hot tub

Friendly staff during both the check-in and check-out. The rooms were clean and well organized. Could not believe how comfortable the beds were and how soft the pillows were. It was quiet and we all had a great sleep. We will gladly stay here again.

Nice clean hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are large and comfortable. Pet friendly - we have 2 dogs and they gave us goody bags for them. Pool and slide area are awesome especially after a long day of travel. Breakfast included was very good. Overall a great hotel that I would recommend.

Rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. The fitness room was decently equipped. I was especially impressed by the cutlery and plates provided already in the rooms and the size of the refrigerator.

The front desk staff were wonderful! The room was crisp, clean and comfy! The beds were wonderful! The hot tub and pool were enjoyable. The hot breakfast exceeded our expectations! My husband and I just drive to Valemount as a get away and to stay at the Best Western! We will be going again!

Enjoyed staying here, quite popular, even though on the edge of town. A beautiful walking path is on the edge of the property with bird watching lookouts . This hotel opens up to a grand lobby with fireplace and views. The rooms are clean and functional, the staff are helpful and friendly. The location on the outskirts of town is quiet and the dining room is well run. We frequently stay here on our way through town and have not been disappointed.

Although we booked a month in advance, we couldn't get the handicapped suite we requested because the hotel didn't know we were coming. They showed us the request they received and there was no mention of our needs. The height of the beds which is dictated by Best Western, are way too high for a handicapped person to use safely. The hotel had our contact info from prior to April 2020

The room was comfortable and a good choice of pillows. For me it was very quiet as I go to sleep after I finish any business and wake up at 7:00 am. Parking was great. Checkin and out smooth with an option for an Express Check Out. Breakfast though was horrid. If you have no health issues like Diabetes or a requirement for Gluten Free I would be very careful. There were no concessions made for Diabetics, especially with Breakfast since you had to order a bag breakfast the day before. Gluten free - well I heard the staff talking waiting for breakfast and the gluten free stuff is not always as advertised. At the Summit Grill I had the Artic Char. It was presented well and was an amazing meal! Every single part of it was superb - but alot of food. The Ceasar I had was prepared absolutely perfectly (I like it nice and hot). Only stayed one night so that is about all I have to offer.

LOVE the decor in the lounge, it felt like a ski chalet with a fireplace, wood & stone, sports on the TVs; service was excellent & super friendly :-) Everyone made you feel welcome and wanted to provide great service. the room was clean.

Pleasantly surprised by this Best Western location. Had an amazing rest in a very comfortable bed. Why can't all hotels have pillows like this one? Very clean and the staff were great. Breakfast very good and well organized for pickup. Simple, on time and fresh.

Stayed a couple of nights exploring and geocaching the area during the day. We had a very good stay and sleep, if in the area would stay again. The rooms very comfortable and staff were very professional. Only one slight problem, the card keys stopped working after first day. Quickly fixed and apologized by the front desk.

Stayed with my 2x kids, wife and dog. The pool was amazing and the breakfast was the best of any hotel I've stayed at during covid (I've stayed at a few). Restaurant needed kid friendly options, rather than fancy stuff better suited to adults or older children. If you have picky eaters, I'd suggest ordering out from a different restaurant.

We went at a very busy time for the hotel. If you value sleep. Don't stay on the main floor as you will hear the kids above you jumping around until late late into the night. However, front desk is good at shutting down the noise.

Great place love the walking trails. We'll set up for travelling with a pet. Check in was a breeze and the express check out made it so easy. Appreciated that COVID 19 protocols were being followed so well

The location in Valemount was beautiful, ate our breakfast outside enjoying the scenery... None of us loved the hot breakfast but the kitchen staff was kind and flexible. Kids loved the pool and slide, had decent opening hrs. Cleaning staff should check under the bed, found someone else's left over wrappers. Unfortunately we were just passing through for the night as I could see there was much more to explore outdoors. Overall I recommend it as a nice family stay in a beautiful location.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels, inside and out, that we have stayed at. The staff were friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. Everywhere is clean and the attention to the little things are superb. The indoor pool area is well taken care of, there is a nice walking trail out behind the hotel, breakfast was hot and plentiful and they even give you a cookie when you check in. I highly recommend this hotel.

When we arrived it was a busy check in but staff were very helpful and patient as well as accommodating. We prefer Best Western hotels and this hotel only made my decision to continue staying at Best Western hotels. The pool was great for my kids and great times it is open. The temperature of the pool was so good I even got in. The restaurant was great the food and staff. The morning breakfast was very good as well and packed up for us when we woke up. The room was clean and I liked the decor. I would highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel was very clean, staff were very accommodating and friendly. We did take out from the restaurant and were very surprised at the great selection on the menu and the excellent food and service. I will stay there again and for sure the restaurant!

As a birdwatcher, my wife walked to the nearby nature trail to locate some wild ducks (American coots, millards, and Eastern kingbirds) and birds in the early morning with enjoyment. As for dinner, we liked deilcious bison burger along with tossed salad.

The hotel had clean rooms and they were well doctorated. The restaurant offered gluten free meals which is great as I have celiac disease. I appreciated the helpful staff. My family enjoyed the warm swimming pool and the water slide.

Velemount was a "half-way" stop for us, we were impressed with the look of the hotel, the welcoming atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff. We would stop here again should our travels bring us in this direction again in the future.

On my very first visit to Valemount, I was grateful to have chosen to stay here. The rooms are fantastic - spacious, comfy and clean, plus the food is unbelievable and the staff members are so kind. Definitely, a must-stay for your next adventure in the area!

Valemount is a super cute and sleepy little town in the BC mountains. We stayed at BW Valemount for 3 days, and it was absolutely amazing! The restaurant on-site, the Summit Grill, has an amazing menu and the chef is super great as well. The entire staff was welcoming and happy, and we can't wait to stay here again and explore more of the area!

After 1 1/2 years we have finally been able to travel to visit our daughter & stopped in Valemount on the trip home. The hotel front desk staff was great, explained the Covid protocols & check in was quick & easy. The room was spotless, beds were comfortable, air conditioner was quiet. Our dinner was delicious & the express breakfast was well organized & tasty. Will definitely stay here again.

Our go-to p'ace to stay in Valemount. Beautiful setting, huge parking lot (especially great if pulling a boat!), friendly staff, delicious joy breakfast included! (Way better typical « free breakfast included » fare). We stayed June 28, 2021, just before covid restrictions lifted. Even though we booked last minute (a few hours before our stay), we were still able to book a 1/2-hr time slot for the kids to enjoy the water slide. This was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately the BW was booked on our way home - another of the hotels in town didn't open the water slide they advertised blaming it on COVID even though it was 2 weeks into lighter restrictions. The staff at the BW were great, friendly. When possible we will never stay anywhere else when staying in Valemount!! Highly recommend, others we stayed at didn't compare. The only downfall was that the restaurant was closed the night we stayed. It was a Monday night, however and it seems from our efforts to order deliver that almost nothing (at least anything that delivers) is open in Valemount on Monday - just a heads up! The menu looked good though and I am eager to try it next time. The grounds are beautiful, many nice places to eat outdoors at picnic tables.

The staff were kind and the hotel is nice but our AC was broken during a heat wave. When we let the staff know, instead of offering us another room we got a small office fan. I complained again a couple of hours later and then we were moved. We still got no sleep and I wish they had moved us immediately.

My wife and I travelled to the mountains to get away from the city for a bit. Valemount is a small town close to Mount Robson and Jasper and other places that we wanted to visit. It's about half the price of a Jasper stay. Parking is easy. Breakfast was simple and tasty. The room was very nice and the bed was perfect!

Stayed a night prior to trekking up Berg Lake. Hotel is very nice. Much larger than I thought. We had one of the slightly larger suite rooms with a living space/couch and room. It was very nice to have that space to get all our trekking stuff doubly prepared for the next day. Bed was comfortable and bathroom clean. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was quite good. Breakfast was to go during covid and the hot breakfast was nothing to rave about but did the trick and I still ate the whole thing. Front desk staff were friendly and cordial. Would stay again if needing to spend a night in Valemount for whatever reason!

A lovely surprise! Such a small community but a great Best Western hotel! Very clean, lovely sitting areas in the great outdoors. Pride is this place! All staff we met were authentic and explicit in details. Room was well equipped and clean. Bedding was super fresh as were towels. Lots of included necessities in the bathroom (not always the case these days). Breakfast was included, order the night before and again we were pleasantly surprised ! Don't forget to take in the Cranberry Marsh which is just out the back doors.......lovely but lots of mosquitoes (take precautions) or run the whole 5 km. I would easily love to spend a few nights here again. Lovely lovely lovely...kudos to the staff. Check out the restaurant (we did not) but the smells coming down the hall were wonderful!

After a long time in a vehicle it was nice to see the Best Western Hotel sign and the staff was welcoming. I found the room to be nice and the bed comfortable. I will stay with this Best Western Hotel again.

Friendliest staff ever, clean room, yummy take out. Had the steak and a burger from the restaurant in the hotel, service was fast and food was hot. Beds were comfy, lots of pillows. The pool and hot tub were well maintained. We will be back.

We travel to Valemount while my husband is working there, and this is likely the priciest hotel in town but you get what you pay for. Excellent service, great rooms, pool with waterslide and hot tub, delicious food at the restaurant and lounge and the free breakfast in the morning is awesome, hot and filling. This hotel caters to the weekend sledding groups, so its very busy on the weekends but it was quiet at night and service doesnt change regardless of the numbers. The staff is lovely, and very professional. We really enjoyed our stay.

When I picked up my take out breakfast at the pre-determined time, it was cold, very little flavour and with 1 dried out pancake. The take out bison burger for dinner was very greasy, cold and no flavour. The fries were also cold and dried out. It took over 1 1/2 hours for the burger order to be ready!!!

This hotel as to be one of the best places I've stopped in for me 10/10 for everything will definitely come back to this hotel Carlos a manager was a absolutely pleasure and he's a big asset to Bestwestern!!!

Stayed a night on our way to Grande Cache. Wished I booked for several days at this hotel. Reasonable rate considering we did not have any reservation. Hotel room and amenities were very clean. There is a well developed hiking trail next to the hotel for those who have the time to venture out. Staff were awesome - attentive and very friendly. For those who are Covid 19 wary, I'd say this is the best hotel to be. Sanitizers are plentiful and located in areas where most people congregate ie reception, dining areas, etc. Mask is available and packaged breakfast is available. Social distancing is enforced.

Very nice stay, overall stay was very pleasant, great meals at the restaurant, free continental breakfast was outstanding. I felt very safe in the whole facility, they followed the COVID-19 regulations. Thanks for the great stay!

We stayed one night on our way to Victoria. The hotel is relatively new, exceptionally well taken care of, with very attentive staff. Covid modifications were well done with your health and well-being in mind. Facility and guest room were very clean. Breakfast was excellent in a time when most hotels barely provide anything of value.

This BW is the best we've been in. Gorgeous property, huge fireplace in the breakfast room with classy, well appointed decor throughout the property. Nice location for a wedding as there is a quaint ceremony area with an existing arch. Plus, the sanctuary trail was lovely. 2 towers for viewing birds and pond wildlife. My girlfriend had to switch rooms and the professional, courteous treatment was outstanding. Thank-you you Pontis(sp??). Gorgeous views, hot pool, great “to go” breakie plus the caretaking staff was impeccable and friendly. We are coming back at Christmas! Can't get enough of this place!

Stopped at this hotel on the way home. $220 per night king bed 2nd floor. Do Not take a room with balcony. Although room darkening blinds on window, just a blind on balcony door that has an outside light that literally BEAMS into your room! The “free” breakfast is bagged, which is a good idea at this time but only 1 bag per room. Clearly marked for “2 people”, they give you 2 bottles of water, only a single banana and very small single breakfast burrito. False advertising! A total disappointment for a best western “plus”.

I had precooked this hotel for 4 nights to celebrate our 25th anniversary by hiking in beautiful B.C Upon arrival, they requested a $900 Preauthorization, even though they already had our credit card on file. Has anyone else experienced this? We are platinum members & upon registering and viewing the room,it was unsuitable. It overlooked the parking lot & had 2 queen beds. I requested a king room overlooking the back & was told none was available. My husband & I went to the local hotels & found the Comfort Inn much more suitable. Upon returning to the BW, we informed them we wished to cancel our reservation. It was only then that they told us a king was available. Too late, we were unhappy with their response. We stayed the night & the so-called hot breakfast was a joke. First we all had to lineup & place an order. We didn't receive our full order. Missing was the fruit and the bars were the cheap cereal bars and the wraps had to be heated in a microwave. We just threw them out & went to A & W. Upon check out, they tried to charge us a higher rate for the one night. I had to phone Best Western and tell them what happened. They had to reimburse us at the rate we were originally charged. Never again will we stay at this BW. It was more like the worst western.

We stayed in a very clean room with 3!!! beds for our family of 4. It was the same price as 2 beds so that worked for us. Our two older children had their own beds. The pool had designated 1/2 hour slots with up to 8 people in the pool. We had the pool to ourselves for an hour the night we arrived and shared the pool for an hour the next morning before we left. The restaurant was very accommodating with food for the kids. The breakfast was bagged because of Covid-19 and cold but we had a microwave in the room to heat up the breakfast sandwich. Would have been better to have a boxed cereal option for the kids. The tub in our room didn't drain properly and I wasn't given any wifi when I arrived on the small piece of paper that listed the Covid-19 related changes to the hotel. I couldn't see any wifi information displayed in the room. Those are my only two complaints. The room was large, the tv and microwave and fridge worked. The shower was hot. The pool was clean. The beds were comfortable. We will likely stay again. Show CAA so you can get a cheaper rate by $20-40.

Stayed one night here. Convenient to Mount Robson provincial park. Just outside town. Clean hotel and very aware of Covid-19 measures: everyone wearing masks and plenty of cleaning. Staff very easy to deal with. Lovely chatting to Lisa at breakfast. Carlos always very helpful at checkin and also when we had issues with internet. Room was two queen beds - clean and comfortable. Lots of pillows which is always a bonus! Internet was a little intermittent but then we were in the middle of nowhere! Had dinner in room from the adjoining restaurant. Took a little longer to arrive than we were told but found out that they are down a number of staff. A good meal though. Can't stress enough that hotel felt safe to stay in. Just please be patient with staff. They do the best they can with the resources they have. And it's hard to find replacement staff easily when you don't live in a huge city!

Stayed one night in Valemount and was met with a beautiful area for sitting in the lobby. Good bagged breakfast where you choose your items. Didn't use the pool but it looks beautiful. Very helpful front desk staff.

We love this place and have stayed here several times while passing through.... this time we were confused and disappointed that every single dish in the restaurant was disposable! Not sure how this would add to our safety or the staff's safety as far as covid is concerned. The staff cleared tables and disposables with bare hands... dish soap would kill the virus and other germs on real dishes within a minute with bare hands or gloves. Garbage bags full of disposables were dissapointing and confusing. I asked about it and the answer was “Best Western policy”.... to re-iterate... we do love this place but would like this policy re-visited :)

Everything I was hoping for - easy, uncomplicated, fast, nice, clean, everything working 100%. Just a perfect night on a long road trip. Friendly and helpful staff, attention to detail - especially now, in the COVID-19 age.

Was very impressed with all the Covid 19 safe practice rules in this hotel. Masks worn by ALL employees, hand sanitizers, social distancing(in the hallways and restaurant). We had a dog and then had a mat with a bowl for water in the room and a brown bag for the dog! The hanging baskets are absolutely beautiful. All Staff very pleasant.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay in this well looked after and decorated hotel. It was so enjoyable, that we want to come back and stay longer! The two queen sized beds were very comfortable. The staff as well was very kind and helpful. We had the option of a bag breakfast due to Covid restrictions. This place is definitely one to check out when planning a trip to Valemount. We had problems with the room fridge. It froze some of our food items. Use your own cooler when storing your own fridge items. We had this problem with all the room fridges in various locations.

We weren't sure whether to risk an overnight stop on our drive from the coast to Edmonton, given the pandemic situation. But we have no regrets. It's been nine days and neither one of us sick. The Best Western seems to take safety seriously, with plexiglass and hand sanitizer in the lobby. We take it on faith that the rooms are cleaned thoroughly. The dining room is open, with a reduced number of tables. The waiter wore gloves and a mask, and dinner was served in covered takeout containers (we could have taken it to our room, but felt comfortable in the uncrowded dining room.) Best Western regulars might miss the buffet breakfast (usually included, but obviously not available in current circumstances) but they provide an alternative that's even better in one way. "grab and go" food (muffins; granola bars, etc) that's available at any time...so you don't have to wait for the buffet to open if you want to get an early start in the morning. Outside the hotel some of the village is shut down, for instance the Caribou Grill is closed indefinitely. Grocery, liquor, and drug stores are open. One travel tip that has nothing to do with Covid: Fill your gas tank before Valemount...maybe it's because Valemount knows it's the last chance to fill up before the border...its prices are higher than all the other dinky little places from Kamloops north. Of course, if you can make it into Alberta that's even better...the price in Hinton is 24 cents/litre cheaper than Valemount, and Edmonton is another 12 cents lower than that.

We booked in here as we travelled home from Vancouver. The hotel had implemented extra cleaning precautions during Covid. Room was clean, quiet and dark. The included buffet breakfast was ,modified, so food was served plated and wrapped by kitchen staff.

Picturesque hotel in the heart of the Rockies. It shows that they really care for their customers, they offered a welcome gift for our dog, a wide variety of breakfast selection included with the room, and the room was clean and smelt of the extra disinfectants to help with the Covid battle.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The lobby is open and the view is amazing. They have a great patio and the restaurant food was delicious! Rooms were standard but with a nice touch in the pictures. Recommend it!

I visit this area usually due to work, staying 10 to 20 days at a time. Always a beautiful area which helps make up for the remote location. The restaurant in the hotel has a nice selection of food and the quality is very good. I have eaten at most all places in Valemount. Never had a bad experience.

We travel lots between Vancouver Island and Edmonton and this is our favourite midpoint stop. The hotel is great and the staff have always been awesome. Lots of gratitude to them for smiling and working hard during these colourful times to give us a safe place to stay on our journey.

Other than a couple of minor maintenance issues with our suite, I had an excellent stay at their hotel. Very accommodating staff in all areas and they were very accepting towards our two Black Labrador travelling companions. This is our usual stop when in Valemount, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to families, business travelers or anyone taking in the activities Valemount has to offer.

We sed to stay here severalyears ago when it was half way to our destination. Recently we have not stayed here as our family has moved closer, eliminating the need to stop for the night at Valemount. This trip we left home later in the day due to snowy roads a stopped at Valemount's Best Western. We had a lovely stay with a relaxing time in front of the fireplace in the lounge. The dinner menu is limited but there's something for everyone. Our room was comfortable and quiet and our breakfast, included in our room price, was better than most hotels.

The hotel is clean, modern and the staff is very helpful. The breakfast which is included in the price is excellent. Next visit I'll make sure to visit the local brewery in Valemont, cool town to spend time in. Great stay

I arrived without a reservation, which was not a problem and was able to get booked into a room in short order. The worker was a trainee, but he did well and his manager was there to assist when he was unsure. After checking in, I proceeded to the bar to relax a bit. I had a few beers (they had the local brew on tap, it's excellent) and ordered some chicken wings for supper. The chicken wings arrived hot on the outside but cold or frozen on the inside. I did not, however, have any complaints about the breakfast the next morning.

Access right off the highway, lots of parking. Checkin was quick, very friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Microwave, sink and fridge in the room. We had 2 comfy side chairs. It was -30 when we were there. We had problems with the furnace. Within 10 minutes of advising the front desk we were in another room. They helped with our luggage and provided a coupon for a couple of drinks in the lounge. We ate in the restaurant where the food was good and not overpriced. Breakfast was included and was excellent. Very friendly staff. They keep coffee, hot chocolate, tea by the front desk all the time on a help yourself basis, very nice to have. We have stayed at this location many times and is always good. Nice walking around the area.

We were taking our AST1 course and figured it would be convenient as the course was being held there. As we go to pay after our 4 day stay, they told us we would not be getting the stay 3 day get 1 day free deal as we did not specifically ask for it although they advertise it. We had stayed here before and that had never been an issue. Very frustrating when they don't mention these things. In reality we should have booked another hotel where the rates are about half the price. Won't be staying here again.

The check in was fast and easy, lounge needs more experience on drink mixing, breakfast was descent except sausages,all in all it was a nice room comfy bed friendly staff , pool and hot are recommended.

Wonderful stay, great rooms DOG FRIENDLY!! Overall would definitely stay again. Staff were helpful and so kind. Lounge space with the large fire place made this a perfect winter wonderland without the hub-ub of the busier winter tourist areas.

The hotel is a bit more pricey than some of the other local spots, but the pool and hottub area is so worth it. The gated parking for sledders is a nice touch. The morning breakfast is top quality. Overall this is a nice location and offers a great experience for sledders central location to the best mountains

I have family in Valemount so I visit frequently and in the past I have stayed in 4 motels/hotels in Valemount and by far Best Western Plus in Valemount offers the best quality of accommodation in everything. Cleanliness, amenities, customer service, quality of the rooms, restaurants, etc, Best Western Plus in Valemount stands up to the Brand Quality.

On our way from bc to Alberta and we stayed here for the evening and night. The pool and hot. Tub were great! The slide is crazy fast and the kids loved it. Our room was spacious and very nice to relax in. The hot breakfast was fresh and tasted great!

It wasn't our intention to stay here but the highway was closed so we parked it here and glad we did. Staff were incredibly knowledgeable, quick and friendly. Real wood fire, best breakfast, clean rooms.

Full, hot, buffet breakfast was absolutely amazing - all kinds of choices - best of any inclusive breakfast hotel ever! Rooms were nicely decorated, clean and a decent size. I don't know what else to say to make it 200 characters! :)

We arrived later in the evening, staff at the front desk were fantastic. Checked in very quickly were able to be in our room and settling in, less than 15 min. The extra items required from the front were delivered very promptly with a friendly smile. Wonderful staff! Very clean room, different configuration but it worked fantastically for a family of 5!

Valemount is a beautiful place to stay, and the Best Western is top notch! Beautiful rooms, lounge is comfortable, warm and the service is excellent. The drink and food menus offer plenty of choices and everything comes out tasty and looking great! This is my #1 choice of places to stay while travelling from BC to Alberta!

Stayed here a few times while in town for work. The Hotel is located on the edge of town with lots of parking. Has a good pub in the centre with a fireplace. Attached to the hotel is a restaurant with a good breakfast buffet.

Had a great stay here with our family. Very beautiful hotel, pool was fun. Nice and quiet, all the staff was really friendly especially the diner staff. Will be coming back to stay again for sure. Highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay in Valemount. The hotel is clean, modern - the staff are professional and friendly. The restaurant and lounge were great! We loved having drinks around the wood burning fireplace. Our dogs stayed with us and received a welcome package. We will definitely stay here again!

This was without a doubt the best hotel We have stayed at. The value for the money was incredible, friendly knowledgeable staff room exceeded expectations. Lounge food was fresh well cooked and tasteful.

Updating the lobby with new tiles but other then that everything was great . Fitness center was very good and roomy . Breakfast was hot and good selection Was upgraded to a jacuzzi room which was large and quiet

Excellent stay! Nice clean, quiet room. Plenty of hot water. Free breakfast! They were doing some renovations, but it was not inconvenient. Was travelling with a trailer and felt secure leaving it behind a gated parking lot.

The complimentary breakfast and efficient restaurant staff were an excellent start to my work day in Valemount. I enjoyed a hot (keto-friendly) assortment of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, salsa, cheese and tomatoes. This is a great hotel with wonderful service staff, food options and amenities.

What a great experience! I loved everything about this place, from the quick check in to the lounge where we had dinner to the room and breakfast in the morning. We stayed in a queen suite. The room was spacious, very clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. We had dinner in the lounge by the fireplace. Service was excellent and the food was outstanding. I'll definitely be back.

We were breaking up a drive from Kelowna to Edmonton and decided to stay in Valemount. We were pleasantly surporised with all of the amenities at the Best Western Plus in Valemount. Lot's of spacious parking, friendly greeting at the front desk including informing us of all amenities and providing fresh cookies. We enjoyed a nice meal in the lounge which features a stone fireplace that was really nice to sit by. Breakfast was a really full buffet and the service was excellent.

This is absolutely hands down the best hotel in Valemount. If you are trying to decide between Best Western and literally anything else I PROMISE the difference in price is worth it. You won't regret.

My son and I stopped for the night on our way through from to Edmonton from the coast. The young woman that checked us in was truly delightful, efficient and her friendly and positive attitude was so genuinely nice. The room was excellent, certainly new and everything was perfect. The bed and linens were excellent. And the hotel is pet friendly, which is really nice. It was around 9:00 when we arrived, the restaurant was closing at 9:30 so we went to the lounge for a bite. The bartender, Serena, was great. They served a local beer on tap, which was excellent. The breakfast was included and it was excellent. All around a great hotel in Valemont, and quite frankly the best value that I have found on my numerous trips along the Yellowhead. Thank you, and I will stop here again for sure.

Came in at 4pm. Was offered both a drink ticket to the lounge and a 20% restaurant discount for being a diamond member. Great rooms. Spacious with all the amenities. Very comfortable beds. Good wifi. There was an included breakfast in the restaurant. Very good with a good variety of hot and cold items. The breakfast service was amazing. I didn't get his name but he was great. Love the open grass area in the back and apparently there is a walking trail. Large fitness area. Great stay.

We were welcomed early and accommodated with a ground floor room quickly. It was a lovely room with a fridge and coffee maker. Very comfortable beds and the breakfast that was included was provided in the restaurant. Best breakfast ever! So much choice and no rush to eat and leave. I look forward to visiting again.

Very clean room/suite and very good breakfast. Front desk was great. Nice hotel. We will stay at this Best Western again. One of the nicest Best Western we have visited. We would recommend this hotel to others.

This Best Western immediately captures one's attention with its fine location next to a marsh. The impression continues as one enters to view the fun sitting area in an atrium off the lobby furnished with couches, a fireplace, and a bar (unfortunately with way too expensive drinks). A make your own coffee drink machine in the lobby that was quite popular. We received a friendly greeting from Carlos who was cheerful each time we made an inquiry at the front desk. Wonderful art work is displayed throughout the building. In our room we enjoyed the décor and color scheme. Amenities included: dresser with 3 large drawers, a table for working that included outlet access (as does table between beds), good lighting and fine shower. Their convenient in building restaurant provided tasty food and friendly service both at dinner (from Paul) and breakfast (typical Best Western breakfast of breads, cereal, plus eggs, sausage, and bacon with a variety of beverages). My only complaint was the iffy Internet. To get a signal strong enough to get to any website I had to sit in an area above the reception desk. As our room was quite near the lobby on the 2nd floor, I found it odd that the Internet was basically non-functional. Still our overall experience rates a positive recommendation.

Awesome hotel! It is a great experience. It is like a resort. Everything is clean and comfortable. The staff are nice. Breakast was delicious! We would definitely recommend this hotel. It is also in a wonderful location.

The hotel is located about 30 minutes walk out of the town, but the town has a supermarket, liquor stores and you can order a pizza from Glazier Fire Pizzeria and sit in the brewery /bar opposite to eat it. There is a short cut down the back streets to the town - so no need to walk along the highway. The lounge was open for food from 4.30pm and the restaturant was open for breakfast dinner and evening meal- prices all reasonable. service in the restaurant was excellnet- Emily age 17 served us on both nights and she was a natural - excellent service for someone of her age - she exceeded some of the service in the previous 5 star hotel we had visited the days before. we visited the RW Starratt wildlife sanctuary on the back of the hotel on the recommendation of one of the ' breakfast' ladies and enjoyed a great walk seeing wildlife (only ducks and birds but it was a nice sunny day). the room had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker - so you could buy in if the budget is tight. There was water and a coffee machine - free in the lounge and a great garden to sit in. we stayed 3 nights on our tour but wasnt disappointed - didnt have time to look at the leisure facilities - but others recommended them. There is a laundrette which is useful if you are hiking, paper cups for water / coffee - no water in the room - but plenty of ice and water in the lobby. there is an internet kiosk and printer which some used to catch up with the UK or print off further travel details.

After a six hour drive we arrived at the Hotel, it was clean and our room was very nice, three double beds for just the two of us so we spread out! The domestic staff and waiting staff were extremely pleasant and nothing was too much trouble for them. The front of house team could certainly take lessons from these other staff. A very poor greeting from the receptionist who really didn't seem like she wanted to be there, we were really tired and a proper welcome and a smile goes a long way. The hotel has a pool and a hot tub which was an added bonus. Food was ok, not great but we didn't go hungry, all in all a pleasant enough stay, would stay again.

Very modern well equipped hotel which does not appear to have consistent satellite access - local channels did not work . Our room was not ready, even though we arrived after the 4:00 p.m. check in time - this reduced the value received for the price paid.

Full service hotel. Nice location and easy to find. Nature park at back of property. Clean rooms, great staff, huge pool with water slide which we very much enjoyed. Nice restaurant and lounge area overlooking a garden area.

Lovely hotel, huge room, comfy beds and good wifi. The pool with a slide was a great bonus. The restuarant food was ok, burgers etc. The breakfast was fine, nothing fab but not bad either. Valemont is just an over night stopping place before the Rockies.

The Best Western in Valemount was absolutely stunning. The decor in the lobby and lounge is very nice, rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The restaurant is great, and staff are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here.

For Valemount, this hotel is in a class of its own, in price, location, service and looks. It is on the southern outskirts of the town, well treed, only a couple of minutes to other eateries and facilities. The grounds are well kept. The highway traffic is light and quiet. The room is clean and we had a good rest. Only the price cause us hesitation in our return.

Great hotel and very convenient for through Northern BC travels. The hotel is clean, well appointed with great service and amenities on offer. We have stayed a few times over the years and never disappointed.

Located far away from town amenities. This not a resort, but a hotel with a pool and restaurant. Was staying here for work and had no access to our own vehicle while off work. Asked politely for a shuttle into town and was denied. The shuttle stayed idle everyday we were there. I asked why the hotel was refusing to drive any of us into town we were told by staff that it was managements policy that the shuttle be used only for guests going to and coming from the helipad. The staff were all really nice, and I could tell that they wanted to give us guys a ride but simply were not allowed. When we confronted the manager about our issue she was rude and quick to dismiss our request. There is no local taxi service in Valmount so we were essentially stranded at the hotel. Very unhelpful. We would have liked to not to pay the crazy prices for food in the hotel however maybe the manager figured if they keep us from going into town we would have to suck it up and spend our money there. Food in the hotel is basic and not worth the premium they want guests to pay. Wish town had a taxi. Not in the mood to walk over a mile to and from town after a long day of work.

I have stayed once before at this hotel a few years ago, and it was as I remembered it for the most part: clean, well-run, easily accessed, with the convenience of an on-site restaurant. What I did not remember (either because things have changed or because I came through in the wrong season this time) was the inordinately high room rates for a pretty basic Best Western, including charging an extra $20 for a third person. I suppose August is high season and everyone charges what the market will bear, but it leaves a lingering bad impression nonetheless.

We were travelling through on our way back to Saskatchewan and it was already past midnight. We were tired and sore and instead of pulling off and sleeping in the car, I checked my BW app to see if there were any rooms available. Then I phoned to verify. There were only a couple rooms left and Carlos provided excellent service as soon as we walked in! He even offered a late checkout since we had arrived so late! The room was clean and comfortable and was set up as a suite with a kitchenette. We couldn't take advantage of the late checkout as we had to keep travelling, but we enjoyed a lovely Breakfast Buffet (included with the room) at the onsite restaurant and were seated near a window with a beautiful, scenic view. We would definitely like to come back when we have more time to relax and enjoy the hotel's amenities and the view.

Booked this hotel as a one night stop on the way to Kamloops. We were pleasantly surprised to find it was quite a nice hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel had a nice little bar in the lobby area that was very comfortable. Breakfast included in the price of the room and was a all you can eat buffet at the restruant attached to the hotel. Our room faced the parking lot but this wasn't a problem. I would stay there again.

An oasis at the end of 10.5 hours on the road. Just what we needed at the end of a long and exhausting trip. A deep sleep on their comfortable beds along with not a sound during our sleep. Morning greeted us with a full complemenary breakfast that prepared us for another long day.

This hotel is surrounded by spectacular scenery. The hotel itself is beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff is friendly and helpful - even when very big groups arrive they work hard to make your experience pleasant! We would stay here again for sure, business or pleasure!

This hotel was nestled in the most beautiful setting. The rooms were clean and the staff was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I came on business and can't wait to return with my husband on a weekend get-away. I would love to see the hotel in a winter setting and enjoy the huge fireplace and a cocktail.

A lovely stop over between the Okanagan and Edmonton area. Pleasant ,helpful staff, clean attractive rooms, complimentary breakfast,convenient location. Will definitely stay again. Do ask for room without banging water pipes. We were directly across from the restaurant so may have explained the noise.

There isn't much in Valemount and it's slightly rough motels or the Best Western. The rooms here are fantastic, the place is exceptionally clean and even the guest laundry facilities were powerful enough to dry a whole load on one cycle. The lounge area and bar overlooks greenery and is very comfortable, and the restaurant, being one of the only places to eat here, was excellent too, being similar to a Mr Mike's or Earl's. Breakfast is included and is not the usual cheap buffet in the lobby, but a proper restaurant breakfast, all included in the price. I doubt I'll be coming this way again, but if I did, this is the place to stay. It is expensive, but everywhere is out here in the middle of nowhere. That's Canada for you. This hotel has put Best Western back on top of the hotels I will look to first for our overnight stops. Absolutely perfect. They couldn't have made it better. Very well run and a great quality stay. Well worth the money.

The accommodations were more than adequate - two queen beds, lots of room, coffee tea and hot chocolate in the lobby, indoor pool, laundry facilities, and pet friendly. The staff on duty the evening of August 1, 2019 couldn't have been friendlier and more helpful. However, we paid for it - nearly $300 for the night's stay which included $25 for our dog. He was far better behaved than the children running up and down the hallway shortly after 6 AM! Perhaps there are cheaper rates if one is able to plan ahead. Keep that in mind.

We got a suite that overlooked the woods in the back of this hotel made to look like a log lodge. The room was terrific, had 3 queen beds! All the amenities were outstanding, all it needed was a safe. My only issue was the restaurant, they got packed at night and we had to eat at the bar, which has a smaller menu. The bartender did a great job accommodating us, great local draft beers. The next morning at breakfast was the same hassle, there were too few staff to clear tables and a line of people formed, with empty tables. Keep in mind, this was mostly a buffet crowd, poor people management by the staff. Our second morning we had to get up earlier and they seated us quickly, anything after 8:30-9:00 got crowded. All that said, we really enjoyed our stay and wished the hotel was closer to Jasper N.P. Great heated pool, hot tub and water slide, even fun for old guys!

The hotel is great and beautiful and the staff are really nice to you as well and The pool is great and the mountains are so amazing. I loved staying here too. I would come back again because I like this place.

We always stop on our way to and from Edmonton. Rooms are very quiet. The restaurant is fantastic. The staff go out of their way to accomdate you. Special kudos to Serena and Austin The hotel is starting to show its age outside.

a very pleasant and delightful stay in beautiful BC. close to Mount Robson. Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious. Our stay was all around awesome and there was enough room in the parking lot.

We stayed one night on our way through from the Vancouver area to a family reunion in Alberta. It's a nice hotel in a very scenic location. Our room was clean and well-appointed. All in all, a pleasant stay.

We stayed here as a family to break up a long road trip and we would definitely return. Arrived to a very friendly welcome at the front desk and checked in easily with free cookies for the kids! Then hit the pool and waterslide - very clean, warm water, the hottest hot tub I've ever been in and a killer waterslide. Then went back to the room, put the kids to bed, enjoyed some local microbrews from the lounge (would definitely have hung out here if not for the sleeping kids tying us to our room) and had room service nachos delivered in about 10 minutes. Great sleep, delicious complimentary buffet breakfast at the restaurant and then more swimming. Excellent service across the board - from the cleaners to the bartender to the front desk and the restaurant servers. What a gem!

Checked in, no issues, didn't have a go-green option to forego housekeeping for extra points like other BW Hotels, but should have given us the points, for the lack of housekeeping and repair. Didn't use the shower until the next day when we gave up on maintenance coming to fix the curtain rod even though we notified front desk moments after check in, and the said it would be fixed right away. My gal was walking on the floor in the room for 5-10 minutes after arrival, and took her shoes off, thought the floor was a bit gritty, and when she looked at her foot(see picture), we were blown away at the fact they obviously hadn't cleaned the floors in ages. The first day housekeeping they didn't refresh the room, just made the bed, didn't empty the garbage or anything else. Second day was better. Had drinks in the lounge one of the nights, but the room looked cluttered with stored furniture, next to the gigantic wood pile and fireplace, half of the lights weren't working, and the tables and layout are big and clunky, and hard to get around, chairs are too low, you will feel like this is a kids room. Saturday night, 5 people in the place including us, empty fireplace, great server, but room felt more like a storage area, than a lounge. Pool water was hazy, so not very well filtered, and tons of kids, so if you don't like the screams, and getting hit in the head by beach balls, either go first thing, or last thing. Business centre not working, Ice machine not working, and gardening around the property needed help, or weeding at the least. Bottom Line, not worth the rate, but with so many traveller's and so few rooms in Valemount, you get what you can get.

A bit on the pricey side but not a lot of options in Valemount. Regardless, rooms were clean, staff was friendly. Hotel has a mountain resort feel to it. and it has great views on all sides. Pool and water slide was a hit with kids. disappointed it wasn't closer to the town centre but the walking trails behind the hotel made up for it. restaurant on site was great. I would recommend this for families.

This is our second time staying at this hotel after a stay several years ago. Pros: Rooms were clean, and well-maintained. Beds were comfortable. Pillows were excellent, with lots of variety. Pool and hot tub area was good, with tremendous views out of floor to vaulted ceiling windows. Complimentary breakfast was excellent...all the usual options...just done a little better. (Highly recommend the berry compote on waffles.) The nature park next door offers a nice walk that helped after a long day's drive. Cons: WiFi was okay, but a bit slower than average at comparable hotels. Bathroom is small, with limited counter space. Shower pressure was mediocre at best. Water slide is _really_ fast...be careful.

Showed up and the front of the hotel gives it the motel look/ feel. But for once the hotel shocked me. The lobby is amazing rooms are great. Hard wood floor instead of carpet. Got to our room and was under the impression it was a 2 double bed room it was three double beds( my kids were so excited to not have to share!) room was very quiet and very clean. view was very nice from our room with a view of the mountains, front desk lady was very nice. Nice bar fridge, microwave and single use coffee maker. Very impressed with this location. Will stay here again if ever driving through town again.

Jessica...OMG (!) Jessica at the front desk helped me when Expedia had failed to cancel my reservation correctly for the week prior to my intended arrival. I had booked the week before, and the week after, unsure as to which week I would need. Two bedrooms were booked for each week, and I cancelled the earlier week once I locked in my dates. Unfortunately, my cancellations did not ‘stick', and I received a notice from Expedia that it was time to ‘check in' one week before my intended date. I contacted Expedia and they contacted Jessica at the front desk... She dealt with Expedia and, in the end, the unintended reservations were deleted without cost to me, and the intended dates were honoured. JESSICA is a true P.R. Ambassador for Best Western, and needs to be acknowledged as such (!) If you can clone this employee, do so... from a consumer's point of view, she is AMAZING! I can only hope she will handle my next booking!

The BW in Valemount is an excellent place to stay any time of the year. It is on the south end of the small town right on highway 5 but far enough back from the highway that there is no noise intrusion. It has an friendly lounge and bar and a good restaurant so it caters to all the needs of travellers who are either passing through or staying for the hunting, skiing or just to enjoy the magnificent outdoors. The staff strive to make your stay as pleasant as possible and although they are efficient they are friendly and helpful.

Our family stayed for one night during a summer family road trip. When we got in we were welcomed and the front desk explained everything regarding our stay, no wait and we checked in 30 minutes early. We enjoyed the hot tub and water slide, well deserved after a nice hike in Jasper that day. Went out for dinner in town at the local sushi/Korean restaurant and it is recommended. When we got back to the hotel, the kids hit the pool while my wife and I had a drink in the lounge. The server was very kind and lit the fire for us on a coolish summer evening. Breakfast the next morning was great and staff were extremely attentive, they topped my coffee up three times! I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again when I come back to check out the local mountain bike hill.

I have stayed in many hotels and motels over the last 5 years and this by far was the best stay i have had in all that time. Staff was wonderful. Beautiful room and scenery. Free breakfast was great. An all around wonderful stay.

Good stay after a long day on the road. This visit was awesome right from entering the front doors and leaving the hotel the next day. Great service throughout in the restaurant and at breakfast the next morning.

The staff were great and very helpful. There was a lovely area to sit in the bar. The room we had was a let down as they are small and cramped and there was a wall dividing the two beds leaving our daughter feeling a little out of it.

I was very impressed by this lovely hotel in Valemount. Check-in was quick and easy despite my lack of a reservation, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. The beds were quite firm, but not in a bad way, and the room had good air-conditioning. The very best part was the water pressure in the shower - the best I've every come across, and having good water pressure is very important to me! We had breakfast the next morning at the hotel restaurant - again the staff in the restaurant were great to deal with and the free breakfast buffet offered several choices and was quite tasty. I will definitely stay here again should I find myself in Valemount!

The town of Valemount is very small, however, it has great proximity to Jasper and has its own beauties. The hotel was quiet, comfortable, and had an absolutely beautiful setting. I'm so glad we stopped in.

Having stayed at a few different places on this relatively short road trip, my assessment of the Best Western is that I wish there were more places like this all over the place. Well appointed, with an attached restaurant and a small lounge, you can't really go wrong staying at the Cranberry Lodge. The only downside for us was the pillows. It's not that the pillows were terrible but if you ask me, a good (great) pillow is more important than the relative softness/firmness of the mattress. We normally bring our own pillows but we couldn't for space reasons this time so we had to make due with the ones provided. Aside from that it was nice and quiet, we got a great nights sleep and enjoyed the free cocktails in the lounge to boot. The rooms are a bit pricey but for the area, they're really not bad.

A good nice and clean family hotel to a fair price. Its not an exclusive hotel but good and comfortable family hotel worth the money. It is located in the outskirt of the smal town Valemont and I can fully recommend that if you come by car.

have stayed at this location many times. Over the years it is showing its age. Time to update their mattresses. It would be great to see a boot brush for the many workers staying at the hotel. Able to use the pool on many ocations. Sauna tempaturare could be lowered.

Rooms are really big and have 3 queen beds in the room. Great for families with small children. Hotel location is very nice. Drive to the hotel is very scenic and beautiful. They serve nice hot breakfast. It was included in our room package and we were very happy with that. Definitely recommend this Best Western Hotel In Valemount.

This place has rooms ideal for small groups of bikers that don't want to spoon together in a twin bed. Multi-bed rooms, great facilities, and a decent breakfast. What else could you ask for on a roadtrip?

We try to stay here anytime that we are driving to Vancouver from Edmonton or return. The hotel has a wonderful, friendly staff...is always clean and bright. The rooms are large with full amenities. The pool and jacuzzi are always clean and comfortable. There is a great walking path adjacent to the property for a nice stretch after a long drive. The restaurant has an excellent selection of food and local draft beer.

Great hotel, new clean, nice beds , and great staff. Fabulous coffee machine in the lobby for those who are early risers. Wouldn't staff anywhere else. Very pricey for. one night but is worth it over the competition.

I love this place. We stay here every time we're in Valemount. It has clean, spacious, beautiful rooms. The views all around are to die for. Pool (with water slide!) for my kiddos is awesome when everyone is tired/ sore from biking. The breakfast is nice. It offers both warm eggs/ sausage breakfast and quick on the go options. The staff was pleasant to deal with and made us feel welcome. The only thing I could complain about would be the fitness room. It's above the pool so it's unbearably hot, even before starting to work out. And it looks like the staff locker room (?) is in there, so there was a lot of staff traffic while I was in there for half an hour. But honestly it's an amazing place and we'll continue to stay here whenever we visit.

We really enjoyed our stay! The rooms were very clean and quiet! It was beautiful with the mountains surrounding the place! There's a nice trail to walk on. The breakfast was amazing! Would love to visit again one day.

This fantastic hotell lies right next to the highway through Valemount. Surrounded by mountains and placed in walking distance from the cosy city center. The hotel has a pool, waterslide and a jacuzzi witch the kids loved. Laundry service for long travelling tourists is a huge plus. Loved everything about this resort, from the service to the staff who worked here. A must stopover on your way

Had a suite, the faux leather couch was missing some fabric. Nice to have the kitchenette. Had 2 TVs one in bedroom and one in the living room area. Bedroom is small but the bed was comfortable and the linens were good. I recommend and will stay again.

You should try the breakfast here, everything about this restaurant is great. Starting with view and excellent servers. Room is clean and has all the facilities needed. Best western should be proud of this hotel

We stayed only one night, friendly service, good breakfast, clean hotel, easy parking, right on the highway; would stay there again; safe place, easy access; easy check out; no complaints; good restaurants nearby.

We spent one night here on our way to the states from Jasper. The room was clean, beds comfortable, check in easy. The sink was slow but someone quickly came and fixed it. The plumbing isn't stellar, which is the reason for a 4, but with the way above average included breakfast, it was hard not giving the place a 5+. We will find a reason to go there again, even if we aren't going to Jasper.

We always stay at this hotel as our halfway point to Edmonton and back to Vancouver. Service is always excellent. Front desk is very friendly accommodating and the rooms are always clean and comfortable

We have traveled extensively to the Carribean, Australia, Aruba, Avarua and Europe. The staff of the Valemont Best Western Plus proved to be the most helpful, courteous and friendly of any of the establishments that we have stayed at over the years. The staff are an asset and made our stay quite enjoyable.

Lobby was a pleasant beginning to a great experience! Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was extremely comfortable and nicely decorated and very clean. TV quality was better than most hotels. Breakfast experience was above expectations - in dining room. Lounge and dining room and lobby were all superior to most accommodations. Will definitely stay here whenever passing through this area in the future

This property is very well maintained, with excellent staff throughout. It is in a beautiful setting as well. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Valemount. I am looking forward to my next visit in approximately 2 weeks.

Awesome water slide my kids loved it and didn't want to get out of it. Easy access to hotel from just off highway. Loby was loud from working crews but did quiet down before 10 PM. Fresh cookies at counter was a nice treat for my kids.

The restaurant in the hotel has great food, service. I can't say enough how good it was. After a long day on the road, easy check-in and walked down the hall to a great meal. The hotel is a little expensive, but worth it because of all the convenience, comfort and staff. We also have a wonderful memory of staying there because of a snowstorm and watching local children come to see Santa Claus in the main lodge area .

Motel was close to the highway, west of town but didn't suffer from highway noise. The noise came from kids in the pool and seemed to permeate at least half the ground floor. Rooms were large and comfortable. Breakfast buffet included but limited. More expensive than it needed to be.

Clean and friendly, Has lots of amenities. Great restaurant. Walking paths for summer use. Not too far from Valemount, but too far for a walk if your not a person to take long walks. Decent hot tub and fitness room.

This Best Western is very beautiful with a very relaxing and rustic atmosphere. Our large room had three extremely comfortable beds, which is exactly what we needed. The decor was so beautiful, especially the pictures on the walls. Had a fridge and microwave and everything was clean and cozy and the mountain view was unbelievable! All of the staff were super friendly as well. This will definitely be our new place to stay when travelling between Vancouver and Edmonton!

We chose the Best Western in Valemount because we wanted a hotel with a nice pool that also had a water slide. I am glad we did because the hotel provided an overall great experience. The pool lived up to the hype I built for the children. The hotel was exceptionally clean. It was tasteful and contemporary in appearance, while connecting with the small town vibe through its subtle old west decor. The staff were very friendly. In particular a server named Darci working for the Summit Grill which is part of the hotel provided a exceptional dinning experience with her competence and friendly outgoing personality. The room was also reasonably priced, considering the amenities. We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we return to further explore Valemount.

This long road trip was a combination of business and pleasure. We appreciated that this hotel was near the highway. It has a lounge and restaurant so we didn't have to drive anywhere for dinner. The wood burning fire place in the lounge and large windows looking out on the trees made a cozy dining experience.

We did not do due diligence in booking this stay. We were looking for a pet friendly place to stay for a stop between Edmonton and Osoyoos. Location is great, and this is a lovely, comfortable Hotel. However traveling with two small dogs is expensive when you are levied $40 per pet/night. I have never paid that much anywhere! Add to the equation no complementary breakfast, and this stay was far too expensive. I probably would not stay here again, even if I wasn't travelling with dogs. No complementary breakfast settles that. Last trip through here, we stayed at another hotel which had comparable rooms, cleanliness, less money and a very nice complementary breakfast. On site restaurant was nice, but the food was average but overpriced.

We stopped for an over night visit as we travelled through from the coast to Edmonton. We had our small dog with us. The front desk staff were awesome, even had a little goodie bag with biscuits to eat and pooper scooper bags! What a nice touch! The weather was clear but snow had arrived and lots was on the ground and the building had many snowmobilers staying as well. So with a busy hotel, a lounge and an attached restaurant we found our stay very quiet and the room super comfy for us all. Will definelty recommend stay again and recommend to others!!

Stayed overnight while driving from BC to AB with the family. We look forward to staying at the Best Wesrern as we know it will be comfortable and clean when we need it at the end of the day. Especially appreciate their family rooms with 3 beds. Breakfast buffet was decent with some selection but quality of buffet items was so-so. Would stay again and recommend to any family passing through.

This was a wonderful find in a beautiful setting. Beds are very comfortable, room had all the amenities we needed, workout room, swimming pool, and best of all they are pet friendly. There is a restaurant on site and a lovely lounge. The property is fabulous with a great outdoor space for a wedding ceremony and reception. There is banquet facilities on site also. They are adjacent to a wonderful walkway - Cranberry Marsh - a perfect way to stretch your legs and take the dog for a walk.

Love the Place! If you book the south facing rooms, you have the most beautiful view of the mountains to wake up to. The service staff are excellent, food is great in the restuarant and there is always a warm fire in the evenings in the lounge area. It is pet friendly and has wonderful trails and nature siting's there.

We were looking for a dog friendly hotel/motel on our road trip to Edmonton. At first, the look outside was very dated, but inside from check in to room was excellent. We arrived late & left early the next morning. The food in the restaurant was very tasty & service was great. Staff very welcoming & loved our chocolate Labrador Adam. With the Tesla, we could charge up over night & head out recharged in the morning

We've stayed at this hotel many times over the years on our way to the BC interior or Coast. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Staff are good and the restaurant service was great. Food is good and prices reasonable. If you are stopping over in Valemount, this is the best hotel in town

The location of this hotel in a park-like setting is nice and so is the lounge with its river rock fireplace. Everything else is standard BW.The rate for a one night stay without breakfast was too high though.

I choose this spot to keep from spending a zillion dollars in Jasper. Definitely one of the better BW's I have stayed at. I ride a motorcycle when I travel. First place I have ever seen that has designated cycle under the shelter by the front door!! Check in was a pleasant breeze, has a nice bar and lounge area with Jen the bartender taking super good care of us. In house restaurant with a limited but adequate menu. A nice heated pool area with a great slide! Wife took their nature trail which she loved. Has the best FooFoo coffee machine in the lobby I have ever seen. Would highly recommend !!

The rooms are very expensive. No breakfast. Get real this is suppose to be a Best Western Plus. The room we had was like a camping room. The covering on the outside sidewalk was a clever idea, especially for the rain and snow

During August a bunch of kiwi firefighters stayed here while helping with the fires in the area. The service was amazing and the rooms were very comfortable especially after long days on the fire line. Many thanks to the wonderful people both in the hotel and the restaurant. Emily in the restaurant was super friendly and a real asset to the place.

So excellent!!! Nice decor! Free parking. Super fun indoor water slide and hot tub. Nice lounge area where you can order food and drinks. Nice computer station. High quality fancy coffee machine at the front desk (complimentary! Latte, hot chocolate, French vanilla, you name it!) as well as little coffee machine in each room. Such a great stay, we were a group of 5 and we all very much appreciated our stay in the suite with 3 beds. The beds were sooo comfortable. Very clean. Thank you.

Our family travelling from BC to Alberta stayed here one night. Rooms were clean (little old), good size. Staff was nice. Pool for our kids and restaurant attached to it was very reasonable priced and had good value menu. Four stars because coffee dispenser at front was not working and printer was not working the day we traveled. Staying there again on our way back.

A clean and tidy hotel with large free car park off Hwy 5. The rooms are fine, with comfortable bed, tv, microwave and fridge. The lounge area has a free drinks machine which is a very handy addition. A wildlife reserve is right outside which is a great place for circular walk. We were in ground floor room 127 which looked out on the car park, if you get a choice pick room on the opposite side.

One night stay for us on the way through. Room was fine, a little dated but we ensured a good night's sleep by having a kid's suite which was essentially a room in a room. We were opposite the gym but found by staying in the adult's room in the back (kid's room in front by the corridor) it was really quiet. WiFi strength not great however, I had to go to the lobby area and even then, it wasn't a strong connection. 2 TV's in our room as well as coffee. Can't comment on breakfast as we didn't include this in our booking but we did have an evening meal at the restaurant which was nice. Steak sandwich was cooked well and with a fresh salad. A tad pricey but with little in the nearest town, we felt like we were limited on options. Dependant on price, we would consider staying again. We felt it was a little expensive for a one night stay but had limited options during the peak time summer holidays on our way through to Vancouver.

After a long drive from Whistler this hotel was exactly what we needed. Great clean large room. We were asked on check in if we had a room preference. We didn't have any... we had a room on the ground floor. On the first night we heard a few car locking horn toots early on then it was quiet. Perfect car park and friendly staff. Especially Amber who's friendly bubbly personality is enough to make anyone smile, even after a long day. Great free use coffee machine too. Room had microwave and fridge. We did look around the nature reserve- see my separate review. We didn't use the restaurants or pool so can't comment there. Overall a great stay and would happily stay again. It's exactly what you'd expect from a good 3 star hotel.

best place to stay in town. Clean. Large rooms/suites. Nice pool and waterslide. Go for a walk out in the wildlife and bird sanctuary right next door. The restaurant isn't all that great, and its expensive so go to Cariboo Grill instead. But this is the best hotel in town for sure.

Check in was friendly and easy. Luggage carts were close, and there was an elevator. We had a suite, and it was clean. and nicely laid out. The WIFI is not secure, which was a huge problem, and one I wouldn't expect out of a BWP. They have a breakfast buffet, which was simply awful. Food was cold, and the bacon tasted like it had been reheated a few times. The people cleaning up and reloading the buffet were so noisy clanging and banging dishes, it was disturbing. Highly recommend breakfast elsewhere.

The hotel is very clean. The room, in our case, we had an executive suit is big big. The staff is very helpful and friendly, they informed us very well about the things around the hotel. There is a pool to relax! Great experience, I recommend it!!!

We decided to leave the cost of Jasper behind on our last night and drive a short distance to Valemount just to sleep. This hotel was a surprising gem. Our room was great! In fact, it had three beds, which meant our kids got their own beds! The place was in great shape, was very clean and nice, the staff was great and the price was right. There is a pool and a restaurant. The breakfast was included and was fantastic. I would not holiday there, but would go out of my way to stay there as a rest stop along the way. Great find.

All hotel staff were extermely friendly and nice. Breakfast was excellent and staff serving the food were kind to my kids. Stopped by ad hoclly without advanced reservation, price a bit high but fair. Would definitely stay there if I passed by again.

Took awhile to get our room, they appeared to be very busy with cleaning. Basic room with good beds for a small, out of the way town. Nice they had a lounge and restaurant, but breakfast was extra. Did not use the waterslide but it looked fun. Nice sitting areas outside of the room.

We arrived a little early but the front desk allowed us to check in early without a penalty. They have added an elevator since our last stay which was very helpful. Our room had a balcony and it was so relaxing to sit on the balcony with a cup of coffee. The lobby has fresh coffee available 24 hours. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows fluffy and sooo comfortable. We slept very well. I would highly recommend Valemount Inn and suites.

We stayed here for one night on a Monday, and the hotel was very quiet. The bed was super comfortable, and the room was a nice size. Our room looked clean for the most part, but it had a very strong pet odour. I saw in other reviews that certain rooms had no carpet, and that would have been preferred. If you have allergies, I would see if they have rooms that pets do not use, or at least request no carpet. Finally the buffet breakfast was $15 per person, and they no longer serve a menu for breakfast. I have stayed at many best westerns, and they usually provide breakfast better then what I had to pay for at this hotel. You would be better off to skip this and check out a Tim Hortons for the value of the meal.

Our family had a great stay here. The beds are super comfy - we all had good sleep. The staff was warm and welcoming. The price was as expected for summertime travel, not outrageous. There seemed to be lots to do in Valemount, walking trails, etc. Overall a great place.

This hotel is a very pleasant stopover when travelling through the Rockies. The reception area and lounge are lovely and there is a nice 6km trail that you can do around the hotel grounds and surrounding land. The room was pleasant, although the aircon wasn't working which made the room very stuffy and hot. The pool is lots of fun and the kids really enjoyed it. There is no seating area around the pool which is not ideal if you don't want to swim but are there to watch your kids. The staff were very friendly.

Valemount is a lovely village close to Jasper National Park. We paid $271 to stay one night. The hotel is nice enough, staff friendly but $271 is exorbitant. Next time we will stay elsewhere. The bed was ok, the meal choice in the restaurant not bad although the quality of the coffee in the rooms was tasteless.

This hotel is much more inviting and comfortable than it looks from the outside. From the outside, it looks like perhaps a Super 8 or something like that, but inside is beautiful, decorated in a rustic luxury theme. We stayed in an upstairs suite with our small dog. How brilliant of the BW to have hardwood/laminate on floors in pet rooms. In our experience, pet room carpets are often the cause of offensive odours, but this room smelled clean and did not carry off odours, likely because of the flooring. Everything was clean, comfortable and attractively decorated. The balcony was a very nice addition despite the mosquitoes. The check-in young lady, Christine Addis, was exceptionally helpful, friendly, and very intuitive to the needs of guests. She is definitely an asset to the BW brand. Room rate was a bit pricey, but the comfort of the accommodation was priceless, and made for an extremely enjoyable stay.

It is a typical Rocky Mountain Hotel with fake river rock walls and log structure décor. Their rooms were nice and clean and the staff were good but the bathroom in suit 217 was the size I would expect on a cruise ship - not a hotel (anytime I have to step between the toilet and the counter to be able to close the bathroom door it's a bit too tight). The bedsheets were ill fitting so the sleep experience could have been better. The Air conditioner made the room a refrigerator and when the temperature was adjusted the room went to +85. I finally got it to regulate correctly but it was no easy task. There is no continental breakfast for spending over $200 for a night due to there being a restaurant on site - The restaurant was too expensive for the quality and quantity of food served and it is absolutely inexcusable to run out of regular menu items when the hotel is running at 1/3 capacity. Not just 1..... or 2 but 4 menu items? And then have that poor server look like a complete fool having to give the chefs lame excuse for why they were out of the deserts we ordered and no others we were interested in were available after our dinner. Whoever is running that hotel restaurant needs their job re-examined. Although the staff tried hard there was an obvious gap in training for some of them that made what could have been a 5-star experience quickly deteriorate into a 3 star or less. Overall, it's pricing is in the upper range of what you would expect to pay for a hotel of this quality - I personally think they are a bit high for what you actually get. I would have done a 3 1/2 star but they're not a 3 so we give then a 4.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. If you are travelling with a dog they are very accommodating. We would recommend this hotel and will stay again. We ordered room service as we arrived at the hotel later in the evening. The food was delivered to our room as quick as possible and was delicious.

This hotel is super comfy, super clean, and the staff was so friendly when we wandered in looking for a room in the middle of a road trip. The bed was comfortable and the view was amazing. We loved it so much, we arranged our whole trip back to make sure we stopped in Valemount so we could stay there again.

This hotel is just outside the Jasper National Park, surrounded by high snow covered mountains even in June and alongside the main road to Kamloops from Jasper. It has a quiet location, with a plenty of space outside to sit in the sun. The hotel has a lovely, relaxing lounge/bar area which leads on to the garden, where dinner can be served rather than having to go to the restaurant. The food was great, they know how to cook a rare steak and make a very good pepper sauce. Local craft beers are available. Breakfast, although not a buffet was plentiful and cheap with a continuous supply of coffee. Each of the rooms facing the back has a jacuzzi. There is a self service laundry room and a kiddies swimming pool with small flume. Next to the hotel is the Cranberry Marsh Trail, an easy 6k walk around a nature reserve.

Great hotel and pet friendly. Restaurant was very comfortable. Food was good. Overall a great short stay. Good place to visit after a long trip from Victoria to Saskatchewan. Keep us p the good standards. We will visit again

We decided to break up our trip from Alberta to BC and stayed overnight at the Best Western in Valmount BC. The hotel was a great choice. Clean room, friendly staff, lovely location and great food in their restaurant. Would definitely stay there again.

This is a nice place to stay while driving through Canmore for business. Nice staff, comfy rooms. I was able to get some laundry done for the first time in a few weeks. I recommend this place, for sure. Even has a good breakfast!

I traveled with a medium sized dog. I have never stayed in a Inn or have taken her with me on a holiday before. This was a wonderful pet friendly room. There was no carpet in the room which can indeed be useful in traveling with a pet. I had my own pet dishes and simply put a towel down under the water and food bowls. Ihad brought doggy clean up bags as well and there was a gargabe outdoors in the back area where tese could be disposed of. i did not use the facallities as She seemed timid about the hotel and this way I did not leave her alone in the room. There was filtered water in the hotel lobby which I did like and had for my dog as well. no porblems. There was a path with a bird santuary and trail close by. she let out two barks when ppl went by the room talking loudly. just one time. otherwise no other incidents.

The overall experience was awesome Everyone that I dealt with was very pleasant and helpful. The staff in some dealings with went out of there way to make my stay like home. Christine Latimer has done an amazing job at creating an at home atmosphere. Thank you

Clean, spacious rooms. Super comfy beds. Great shower-pressure. Were late arriving due to poor weather conditions: pool and restaurant closed at 10pm so only option was vending machine. Pool was great for the 30 mins we had, but no lounge chairs for parents supervising kids, just benches.

We arrived at around 3:30 pm. and were greeted by the friendly staff at the front desk, they got us checked in and answered all questions we had. Rooms were very neat and tidy. The WIFI was great, the pool area was great as well.

We stayed in Valemount on our way to Edmonton. The pool was tons of fun but careful on the slide, it's fast! The hotel had a nice lodge/rustic cabin feel to it. Nice cappuccino machine in the lobby provided decent coffees in the morning. Attached restaurant offered good quality meals and room service. We ordered the breakfast and it was great. The room we stayed in was large but dated. Cleanliness was OK.

Stopped at this hotel as convenient place to stop on trip home from winter vacation. Room and service was good quite room and hotel had a resturant which we had a good meal at which was handy. Overall had a good stay.

Convenient just off the highway. Very nice place too stay. Personable staff. Large guest rooms with a homey feel. I had a fireplace and a Jacuzzi tub both of which didn't get used but maybe next time. Nice outdoor deck off the room for sitting outside. Comfortable clean rooms with good beds. Good WiFi and tv. A nice lounge area off the lobby. No included breakfast but there is an attached restaurant. A multi coffee machine in the lobby. Big fitness area with a few cardio machines . Some free weights would be a good add. Nice indoor pool with a water slide and also a hot tub. Very good place too stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Best Western in Valemount. The parking is closed at night, there is a hot tube and a free coffee machine where you can get some cappuccino, mocha, latte :-) However, as I was preparing a noodle soup with the hot water of the coffee machine, the bartender Keyla refused we stay next to the fire place, even if there was no guest in this section of the customer area. So we had to carry our bowls with hot water upstairs . This bartender was really unpleasant at 2 different times tonight and fortunately we didn't get burned otherwise I would have made a complaint against her.

I have stayed at this Best Western slot and it never disappoints. They will acomidate you to make your stay the beat possible everyeverytime. The staff is very friendly and the food is excellent. I will be staying here for many more visits to come.

We have stayes here a couple times on sledding trips. Very clean, nice staff. Jacuzzi suites are awesome. Pool has a slide and hot tub. They lock part of their parking lot to try to deter thefts of sleds which is really nice because typically there are a lot there in the winter months. The Mount Robsin suite is right over top of the front doors so you hear them all night, but the other rooms are very easy to sleep in.

Had not planned to stay in Valemount but during winter driving conditions I thought it best to get a hotel. I was pleased to see the Best Western sign as we've always had a consistent experience with the hotel. No surprises, everything was as expected (but no breakfast bar - separate restaurant on premises). Would absolutely stay here again if passing through.

This hotel always provides great service, great value and friendly staff! Great place to stay for any family! Beautifully situated in the mountain setting! We have stayed at this hotel many times and always enjoy our stay, never disappointed!

Our stay at the BW hotel in Valemont was excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable, the staff very friendly and professional. It is a bit on the pricy side and there is no included continental breakfast Wich is a fairly standard practice now days. There is a restaurant in the hotel that has very good food but again a bit on the expensive side. Overall we were happy with our stay.

Great hotel. Nice pool with hot tub and slide. Beautiful lounge to relax in and enjoy a nice wood fireplace. Staff were all very helpful and nice. Nice rooms and full of everything you need. Valemount is a beautiful place to visit and when you do go to the best western.

Very nice hotel in Valmount B. C. Canada I would recommend this hotel to any one traveling in the area lots of parking even for semi trucks enjoy the service is good room are very nice and there's a lot of outdoor activities if wish to look that up

We stay at this hotel often. It is a perfect location and a great place to stay. The staff are welcoming and interested in making your stay enjoyable. Improvements to the parking lot have been made this summer. The restaurant has good dinner and breakfast menus. The portions are large. Our experience from check in to check out was great.

Good place to stop for rest and relaxation. Both a lounge and restaurant onsite make this the perfect place to stop over. Hotel is clean and beds are comfortable what more could you want? I recommend this establishment to all my friends and family traveling in the area.

We had two rooms. A double (2 queen beds), and a suite. The double was fine, just what you would expect from a Best Western. The suite however, was a bit of a disappointment. The lighting was poor and there was no window in the sitting area, so it felt very dark and uninviting. The bedroom had a great view, but no bedside table, clock or light, which was a bit inconvenient. There is a lovely sitting area with a real fireplace which we enjoyed before dinner, but were disappointed when we were told that minors were not allowed. As a family travelling with teenagers, and given that the suite was uninviting, it was disappointing not to have anywhere to sit together. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and we had excellent service from the staff.

I used points to redeem for a free nights stay, I expected a little more of an upgrade to show appreciation for my loyalty to best western. I spend half a year in hotels and appreciating the nights spent in best westerns would of been nice.

Excellent hotel... this is the third time I've stayed at this location. Great staff, rooms are very comfortable, lounge is very nice to relax in, good fitness centre. The restaurant at the hotel had a well-done breakfast, good food, not expensive. Great place to hang out.

This hotel is by far the best on the area. Room was well appointed, very clean and comfortable. The dining room and lounge have a great menu and service was very good. Pet friendly and a water slide for the kids.

Change of plans so needed a quick stop while driving. Booked a room online a few hours before driving and arrived later had a beautiful room clean comfortable priced right. What more do you need!! Definitely stop again!

We stayed here for one night and found it to be a very nice place! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We ate two meals at their restaurant and both of them were excellent and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are ever in Valemount!

Had a great stay! We were upgraded to a suite that better suited our needs. The woman running the lounge was a total sweetheart. The pool was great and all the staff were friendly as heck! We will return when in Valemount!

If you look at the body of my reviews on this site you will see that I try to find something positive to say about the things I review almost without exception, and try not to be a troll, but this hotel will have to be an exception. Reservation? Lost. Staff? untrained. and clearly couldn't care less.I was offered a lacklustre discount for a battered room with a Jacuzzi with broken tiles, and carpet that was lifting off the floor, and told that I should feel lucky I was receiving a room at all, and would have to sort out the reservation error for myself or I might risk paying for a room in a random other location that I didn't show up at. However, this doesn't make up for a lost holiday plan for a date night in a nice room. Don't trust the Best Western Reservation system at any location, and definitely keep going when passing the Best Western in Valemount. There are far better option in Jasper, or Kamloops. Consider the Holiday Inn Express chain for openers. Mistakes happen there as well, but I know from experience that HIE tries to do something about mistakes when they occur.

Very nice hotel - way nicer than others in area. However, point of staying in a hotel is to get a good night's sleep. This was impossible due to the enormous, uncomfortable pillows. Pillow are very important! I see the manager has replied to a previous traveller with the same concern. Regrettably I would suggest people move on to a different town if this matter is not rectified

We stayed here for one night this summer, wish we had planned to stay longer. It has a cozy feel, just what you would expect from a mountain lodge. Everything about our stay was great. Had breakfast in their retaurant which was excellent. We will plan our next trek into BC to include a few nights at this hotel. (For a lot of hotels they don't stand out much, just a place to get a room to sleep. It was a welcome surprise to stay at one that was above and beyond your average hotel experience).

This hotel was surprisingly good! We checked in with out a booking late in the day and were given a great room. It was clean and well appointed. We had a good nights sleep with no noise from other suites or the main road. The dinner in the adjoining restaurant was delicious. Both the lasagna and cheese cake were homemade. We look forward to staying here again!

The Valemount Best Western in a very nice hotel. I always look forward to staying there whenever I travel in this area. There is a lovely wetland adjacent to the property which is great for walkers birdwatchers and photographers. I enjoy having dinner and a glass of wine in the lounge when I stay.

The Hotel is set up well for the business people and after work there is the bike park for mountain biking that is awesome. The staff had no problem with me keeping my bike in the room. The front end staff worked well with me to accommodate my arrival dates.

Having travelled this highway many times over the past 25 years Valemount has been a difficult location to find a decent motel. Now Best Western is there that has changed. A good motel right off the highway, good staff, very comfortable room, nice restaurant and a decent lounge. We definite recommend this to travellers.

We look forward to staying at the Valemount Best Western Plus. Staff are friendly and efficient. Rooms are spotless and quite. Restaurant serves great food. A first class operation. We look forward to staying here on our annual trip.

My wife, my 2 Shih Tzu crosses and I were traveling through British Columbia during some of the worst wild fires this province has ever seen. The smoke (and rain) were so bad that we had to stop early on our trip and we ended up here, partially because it was listed as "pet friendly" on Trip Advisor. We stayed one night. The room we were put in was almost right next to the restaurant, and in some cases this may have been a noise problem for our reactive dog "Bella". (she barks when she think people are coming to visit...) This hotel has the foresight to add double doors that separate sections of the hotel hallways from larger common areas. +1 The bigger plus was that our "pet friendly" room had bedroom that could be closed off from the sitting area--and the front door of the room--which ensured our stay was very quiet. (people-traffic-noise-wise) The pipes in the wall of the room--a wall which divided the bathroom and the bedroom--seemed to vibrate when they were used by rooms above ours. This caused a high-pitched whine that was quite loud. We called the front desk and they promptly sent a service person down to check it out. We were informed of what the noise was and told that there was nothing they could really do about it. He was pleasant enough and soon after he left--after delivering his somewhat disappointing news--another hotel representative knocked on our door to give us some coupons worth $10.00 for both my wife and I to use at the restaurant. A very nice gesture. I need to note that every person I dealt with at this property--from the front desk clerk on down--was genuinely helpful and pleasant. Even when I sought someone out to tell them there was a leak in the ceiling outside the restaurant, news that would mean more work for the staff as well as them having to deal with a complaining guest ( I was not upset, just trying to help them out...), the woman I spoke to was cheerful and proactive. Lovely. We stayed only over night so my experience with this hotel was fairly limited. What I saw, mostly in the attitude and approach from the staff was exceptional. I would not hesitate to recommend The Best Western Plus in Valemount. PS--my wife is a troubled sleeper. She had a fantastic sleep here and said that the pillow was the most comfortable she'd ever used. She's still talking about it. **Christmas present, maybe?**

Best Western Plus Valemount Inn & Suites, Valemount has excellent staff. first night the bathtub water did not drain well. we called for service and it got fix right away. The staff was very accommodating. They lend us party bowls and utensils so we could hold a large party in their patio.

Was welcomed by a very pleasant front desk manager and the check in was quite speedy. Had a room on the 2nd floor towards the back, looking out on green space and the mountains. Room was well appointed, clean and very comfortable...particularly the bed. Had a great night's sleep. The Hotel conveniently has a bar and a restaurant, though I did not try them but they looked nice. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again if I'm in the area.

Booked this through hotel website. Everything ready on check in. Upgraded room. Clean and well maintained hotel. Easy to find and access off highway is good. Restaurant service was slow for breakfast even though hardly anyone in there. To be fair the service for supper the night before was okay and it was busy. Children liked the pool.

Everything is good but the only problem is the internet speed so bad... it is not reliable at all... it drops the signal a lots. This needs to be fixed... everything is good....the location is very close to the city...

I called to make a reservation I was put on hold for 13 minutes by whom I can only assume was Mark. I stayed on hold and called in with a second cell phone who was answered by a pleasant efficient Women who handled the booking effectively. Upon check in Mark provided the most rude unpleasant service I have ever experienced in the hospitality industry. Please get Mark some much needed customer service training if he is to stay at your front desk as he is not suited for this position & he set the tone of rudeness for your Inn. Thank goodness the tone was changed at the restaurant where our server was pleasant and changed our opinion of the Inn. The restaurant is understaffed as we waited to be seated and we waited for a meal which was definitely worth the wait, both the rib eye and cutlet were cooked to perfection our compliments to the cook. What a great experience listening to the servers who you could hear delivering all their customers friendly, knowledge service you can tell the restaurant staff takes pride of ownership. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the coffee to go in the lobby is great, lots of parking when traveling with a truck and trailer. I would absolutely stay here again and not let one bad apple upset the apple cart!

Excellent that there are 3 beds for a family of 5. Great pool with water slide for kids. There are a couple of life jackets. Free beverages in lobby. Also other areas for people to chat or use internet.

An oasis from the heat and smoke. Lovely room, patio with view of bird sanctuary, jacuzzi in room, new frig and microwave. Comfortable lobby area with Keurig coffee machine for lattes, cappuccinos and espressos. Friendly and efficient staff. Good grocery store in Valemont which we used because most of the restaurants were closed. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who is travelling in the Yellowhead area--Mt. Robson was fantastic!

We had an excellent stay here this summer. We were greeted by pleasant staff who offered an upgraded room! Our children absolutely loved the swimming pool slide and spent hours on it. The regular rooms are large and well-appointed with a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, and the beds are very comfortable. One complaint is regarding the pillows. They are massive and tall, and would suit a 300lb+ person, and not the average small person. My neck hurt from using them, and I would advise that Best Western offer a variety of pillows (throw in a flatter one on each bed). This hotel was quite expensive for the Valemount area (summer rates) but it stands out among the other hotel offerings in town. The attached restaurant is also good, and offers $7 options for children. We will be back!

Excellent - we always stay with them when travelling through to our holidays in British Columbia. Good valve for the money and the staff have always been excellent. Food and service in the restaurant is always top notch even when it gets busy. They are well trained and helpful.

Was told we could have a cot at booking. Received cot and had difficulty fitting it in room. Told front desk so they moved us to a different room and we're told the cot would fit. This room was the exact same size as first room. When I told the front desk, the clerk said "I don't know what to say". Had to move furniture around and barely squeezed it in. The carpet around the bed was wet from condensation from the air conditioner and room was musty from this. The phones in the room didn't work properly. At booking we were told a free breakfast was included but this was not the case. We arrived at the on site restaurant only to be told they were understaffed and it would be quite the wait for dinner. The first flush of the toilet and realized it was plugged. We asked the front desk for an extra blanket for the cot and they said the porter was out and would bring one when back. We were ready for bed after a 500km drive and had to wait an hour for the blanket. Not sure why front desk couldn't have handed us a blanket. Also another ten dollars to rent the cot. we didn't receive a receipt for the 100$ deposit either. One night stay cost 280$. Very expensive for one of the worst hotels we've stayed in. Would take a lot before I ever recommend this hotel!!!

Great place to stay. Restaurant on site, complimentary coffee machine in lobby, nice lounge for drinks, fitness centre and pool available, outside area nice to sit and enjoy the views. Also have walking trail in behind hotel. Rooms are clean, water pressure is very good!

The beds are comfy, the rooms were clean, and air conditioned. Kids loved the pool with the large water slide. There is a hiking trail outside restaurant as well. The food was excellent in the restaurant. Waiter we had was excellent. I would stay here again.

Avoid this property at any cost. I have stayed at this property with eleven members of my extended family. The reception counter staff were very rude. They are curt and uncooperative. They are not helpful and considerate at all. The worst of the bunch is a young woman named Riley. The rooms are clean, but the pillows are high enough to make your head feel uncomfortable. The restaurant at the hotel is a just okay in quality and the selection is limited. The swimming pool is nice. The bed linen were clean and of good quality. The hot beverage machine at the lobby runs out of hot chocolate frequently. If you must stay at Valemount, my suggestion is to consider another hotel.

Great place. Staff is great. Wildlife viewing platform and hiking trails are very cool.Everything is awesome here except the restaurant service is very slow. Food is good, just slow service. Will stay here again.

I absolutely love staying at this hotel. We always have a great stay when we go. They were very accommodating to our hockey team on relatively short notice. The only down fall is the restaurant. The service was lacking and the food was unfortunately mediocre.

The staff and the restaurant make this hotel a great stopping point. If you are traveling through the area, this is the place to stop. In door pool and spa, very clean. Full bar and restaurant with plenty options to choose from.

Love the deal and this hotel was a very clean and with updated rooms. Stayed in many BW hotels and this rates up with the best. Location slightly away from town and highway close if you face it. Still a welcome place to stay

Hot tub water is yellow in colour. Pool was geen in colour. Pool is ice cold. It does concern me on cleanliness details and sanitation of reet of facility. Other than that the experience was okay but will not stay again.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel on our way from Alberta to Vancouver Island. Great please to stop and enjoy the area without having to pay through the roof if we stayed in Jasper. Really nice property, clean, friendly, good food. I work in hospitality and I found this property to the best value. I will be staying here more often when travelling through as it was perfect for our stopover.

My husband and I really enjoyed staying here last week. The man at the front counter was very knowledgeable and friendly and made us feel welcomed as soon as we came in. The room was simple, it had 2 queen beds, a fridge, microwave and a coffee maker. Everywhere we went in the hotel it was clean. The main seating area in the great room was wonderful. It was full when we were there, but it looked like an enjoyable place to sit and gather with others. We really enjoyed the ducks unlimited protected marsh behind the hotel. If you like birds and nature in general, it's wonderful to walk the paths and watch the birds. This, for me, is reason enough to keep coming back here. I could spend hours out there. We dined at the restaurant in the evening, both of us had burgers. The service there was fantastic. I had an issue with my burger and the waitress made things right by offering a free dessert. The hotel offers express check-out, so if you want the charges left on your card they will just slide the receipt under the door in the morning. The only negative was the shower pressure, it had none. That was definitely not enjoyable, but it wasn't a deal breaker. All in all, we would stay here again.

Excellent hotel. Close to Jasper and a beautiful drive to Kamloops. Hot tub in room was comfortable an clean. In-hotel restaurant had a good menu, excellent food and great service. Elevator to 2nd floor is just okay. Two kilometer (3/4 mile) forest hike adjacent to hotel.

The customer is important and the smiling faces of every staff member in every department tell's you so.....pleasant surprise when everyone appears to enjoy what they are doing. Food and beverage service is good and priced right. Have no hesitation in recommending this facility for a night or more. We had a three-night stay this trip. this is one of many stays we have made over the years

was a great place to stay while we went rafting had an awesome time people working in the hotel were great, good location would defiantly stay there again prices were great and desk staff was awesome, restaurant experience defiantly needs to be improved on for the times times we ate there.

This hotel was clean and comfortable. The deluxe queen suite was spacious, and the location was easy to find. Staff were friendly and the complimentary coffee in the lobby was a nice treat. The scenery around this hotel was amazing.

Stopped on our way from Edmonton to Kamloops. Great location, right off highway. Nice room for two adults and one child. Good restaurant and pool with waterslide and hot tub. Beds were quite comfortable. Room offered small fridge, microwave, coffee maker - everything we needed for an overnight stay!

Very well appointed and maintained rooms. Comfortable beds. Close to highway for easy access. Attached restaurant with a variety of menu items and outside patio. Definitely would recommend staying here.

Nice hotel at highway 5 to or from Jasper National Park. Rooms are well furnished and clean. Nice and very friendly staff. Valemount is not spectacular, but thete hotel suits for a short stay on the way too further.

Love the pool. Hot tub could be a little hotter. Friendly staff from maintenance, room stewards up to front line. Breakfast is great and is typical of a Best Western. Reasonable variety. The lady that served us our meal in the restaurant, unfortunately can not remember her name, was one of the more pleasant and interesting ladies I've met doing that job. Took a real interest in her customers.

A lovely hotel nestled in the mountains. We love this area as it has a bit to offer for campers, boaters and hikers. We will make a point of staying here every time we pass through. Lovely scenery and a lovely little trail beside the hotel.

Great place for a night when travelling to/from Vancouver. Located next to a bird sanctuary, a fun place to have a walk. Very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed having a light meal in the lounge with some drinks this time. Have stayed here on a previous trip, and will keep staying at this hotel!

By FAR this is the best hotel in town to stay when you're visiting Valemount. I only wish the bar and/or restaurant opened earlier than 430 so multi day guests had a place to eat during the day. The facility was immaculately clean and the staff were very helpful. All food coming from the kitchen tasted great and it was a reasonable value and selection.

We drive from Edmonton to Victoria 4 times a year and we always stay at BW Valemount. The staff is terrific, the rooms are perfect for us and the location is amazing. We have never had any problems and have actually experienced service above and beyond a couple times!!

Found the suit to very clean offering a separate living area from the bedroom. The bed was very comfortable and looked over the quiet boreal forest. Restaurant offered a full menu at competitive prices. The lounge closed too early at 21:00 hours. I would have liked to have enjoyed more than one beverage in front of the wood burning fire place.

Wonderful hotel and the restaurant is great. This hotel is on the route from Jasper to Vancouver. At first you wonder why this great hotel is in this location until you realize it has an extensive variety of activities. Hiking, skiing and river adventures. Personally we stay there on our drive for the meals.

I was very pleased and will stay agian. I was totally impressed to find a very upgrade motel in the "middle of no where". Great rooms private location. Food was top grade. I had my two small dogs along there was no feeling of inconvenient.

We have stayed at other Best Western Plus hotels and they all have offered complimentary breakfast. We were disappointed that you did not. Other then that we found the hotel to be very good, with a great location in the mountains.

Near Hwy next to a Nature walk and an indoor pool with a water slide. Top notch...we've been staying here for 25 years to and from Edmonton and Vancouver. With babies, dogs, kids, friends..Never disappointed! Finally stayed on 2nd floor in a jacuzzi suite with little balcony!

Very friendly staff, and super comfortable bed! I wish all beds in hotels were this comfortable, plus I got upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi! The restaurant on site is great with tasty food! The sites were great, with some nice places outside to sit and rest. There is also a bar inside the lobby where you can sit on comfy couches and watch the game! Highly recommend this place! Just don't drive past it on the highway!

The stay at this location was not planned,but because of a road closure we were forced to to stay in Valemount overnight .We were made to feel very comfortable by staff and a nice quiet suite let us enjoy an otherwise long trip. We would stop there again anytime!

We travel from Abbotsford BC through to Edmonton Alberta on a fairly regular basis, If we are able to book in advance our preference is to stay in Valemount at the best western. The hotel is unique, beautiful wood beams, large fire place in the lounge and when its time to shut your eyes a comfortable Bed. Other things we appreciate is a friendly staff, and a pool that is always warm. We have stayed at other places when the Best western is booked, we always return to the Best western. Would I change any thing - yes it would be nice to have a coffee bar and light snacks for those of us that are not into a big breakfast and sometime do not have the time to linger in a restaurant. This hotel does not have a breakfast room - it does however have a good restaurant on site.

We were stuck not being able to move onto our destination due to an avalanche. Best Western took us in last minute and made us feel very welcome. They kindly took care of us and helped us with recommendations while staying in Valemount. The lovely attendant Melanie S. was so kind to us, I'd like to extend an extra thank you to her.

The rooms we clean and very spacious. We had dinner in the lounge area, the food was excellent and cooked exactly to order. The service was outstanding, very quick and very professional. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

The room was spacious, clean, bright, and well stocked with amenities. The jacuzzi tub was wonderful, and the pool/hot tub are a great bonus- even though you have to walk through the lounge to get there. Front desk staff are very accommodating, and friendly! Would totally recommend it to anyone, as I will definitely stay again!

We spent 2 nights here in April - both were great. The hotel is lovely and very Westcoast, the room was also very nice and clean. The hotel restaurant is excellent as well as the lounge - both have excellent food as well as great service.

I have stayed at this location 3 times so far and liked it every time. The snow caped mountains are just beautiful in this area. The staff and the restaurant sever were very friendly. The dinner at this restaurant was yummy. Although the hotel is close to the highway, it was very quiet and we had a very peaceful sleep. The beds were very comfy and clean.

Over 100 people attended the recent BCSF AGM & Awards Gala at this hotel. The staff were all exceptionally helpful, friendly and accommodating. Our rooms were all clean, cozy and comfortable. The Eaglesview Room, where we held a Board Meeting, a Meet and Greet, a huge Annual General Meeting AND an Awards Gala & Dinner, was the perfect adaptable space for all of our events! The Management and Wait Staff were amazingly attentive and service was on point for the whole 5 days I was there. The lounge area was a personal favourite of mine, as the real wood-burning fireplace in the large rooms centre, was the perfect gathering spot in between functions. The catering was decent all around and the hotel restaurant served me one of the best Eggs Benedict I've ever had (perfectly poached eggs). I would recommend staying at this fine hotel to anyone staying in Valemount. Especially if you are there to snowmobile or snowbike the many riding areas, there is very secure, gated parking so that you can rest well, knowing your ride is safe and ready for an epic mountain adventure! A huge thanks to the BW Valemount Staff! You rock!

This is a terrific hotel in a beautiful setting. Great staff and comfy rooms. Our kids loved the pool and water slide. We really appreciated the level of customer service in the lounge... thanks Andrew! We will definitely stay here again.

Was almost double the price of same hotel in Kamloops.Check in forgot to inform us of any amenities that every other hotel in chain would have been quick to tell us.Noise of the hallways was very evident, and woke us several times during the night.Would seriously consider any other Hotel in town ,even though we are loyal BW customers

We love the hotel, lounge when we use it and the grounds. Hotel is always clean and easy to get into from highway 5. I don't know what more jibber jabber you want. It's 7:30 am and that's all I have to say

We were pleasantly surprised with this particular Best Western. It had a lodge feel to it. One of the most impressive hotel centrums we ever seen. Lots of huge logs, large fireplace with wood burning. Our room was clean and comfortable. Dog friendly. We went on the suggested 6 Km hike around the marsh adjacent to the hotel - - wonderful!! Had dessert in the hotel restaurant - - homemade cheesecake. Would stay again.

Bad quality hotel room was dirty bed was uncomfortable bad smell, will never stay there again. Bad experience for a best western and we usually stay at best westerns it's one of our to stay at places whenever we travel. Disappointed is a good description !!!

Very happy with our stay, somewhat pricey but that is supply and demand. Had accessible room next to lobby but was very quiet and worked out fine. Restaurant food and service very good. Have stayed before and Would stay there again.

Driving from Edmonton to Vancouver. Had a late start to my trip and stayed at the Best Western in Valemount. Check in was easy. The staff explained about early check out and the location of all the amenities. Nice room with a comfortable bed. Nice washroom, large shower ( they gave us a handicap room ). Coffee in room to start off. Ok coffee. The Latte/ Cappicino machine made awesome coffee. Highly recommend using it. Quick checkout and on the road. Definitely recommend staying there.

Very Nice and comfortable place to stay. the staff was professional and very nice. rooms were great and beds were very comfortable.. the restaurant breakfast menu is great. Cant wait to go back in the summer to hike around and enjoy the town.

Great hotel, room was a suite which was equipped with a kitchenette, was compact, clean and cozy. We didn't use the pool or hot tub however looked inviting with a great water slide. The hotel front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. The lobby/bar is gorgeous and very cozy with a beautiful rock work fireplace and full service bar. Happy with our stay and if in the area again will def stay here!

Work had me back in Valemount with a small team for a day. We were put up in the Best Western to my relief, I had stayed before and remembered the facility to be quite nice. I wasn't disappointed. The big, open, lobby and lounge is still beautiful with a wall of windows letting in light and giving some views of the lovely scenery. A full bar was available although being on business and traveling with non-drinkers I didn't get a chance to check what was served, although it looks as though local craft beers were available. I stuck with the automated coffee machine which served up regular, decaf, espresso, mochas, and others. The coffee was welcome and tasted just fine. A small gift shop had candles and hygiene products and a couple vending machines provided candy and pop. Check in was easy and I was given my choice of room. I stayed on the ground floor this time with the rest of the party and received an executive suite. The suite was as I had remembered, two rooms, two TVS, a comfortable couch and coffee table that was big enough to lay out documents and get organized. The desk was also large enough to be useful. Many lamps and lighting options kept the room lit. The room was equipped with more coffee, a kettle, fridge, and sink. The bathroom was clean and bright, big mirrors and a new looking tub. No problems there. The bed was comfortable and sleep came easy after a walk around the well kept grounds. A nature preserve backs the hotel complete with walking trails and lookout towers while a very decent pool, hot tub, and slide keep you busy indoors. We made use of the pool amenities and my companions said it was one of the best hot tubs they had used. The attached restaurant provided us with dinner and had a great menu and seasonal decor. Everyone found something and the portions were more than enough. The hotel seems to have a personal touch with the decor and accents and everyone commented on the pleasant atmosphere. I would be happy to stay next time I'm in Valemount on business, but would love to stay for a personal trip also and check out the jacuzzi suite. I believe the hotel is dog friendly and has electric chargers for those cars which need it. Great stay, great hotel.

We stayed here for 1 night. The room was average, but the hotel lobby and sitting area was very nice. Loved the massive windows. If you get a chance, try the hotel pool and waterslide. Just make sure no one stands in front of the opening or accidents could happen lol

Stayed one night on our way from Kamloops to Jasper and wish we hadn't bothered. The room was okay but our evening meal in the restaurant was dreadful. We ordered drinks only to be told after 10 mins that my glass of wine was unavailable due to them running out of it. I then asked what they did have but the waitress took another 10 mins to come back to tell me. Our meal had still not been served but then our starter came with our main meal being served straight afterwards only to be told we didn't have to rush ! The food was not good and the service dreadful.

This hotel is located in a beautiful part of BC. We didn't pre book our stay, so received the walk-in rate for a senior Best Western customer. Our room was well appointed and clean with two queen beds, that were comfortable. This hotel would be great if it offered a continental breakfast. The check-in/out staff seemed to be very busy but pleasant.

Nice place to stay, very quiet rooms. Price is a bit higher than other Best Western in area such as Hinton and Edson Alberta and lest choice of restaurant in the community. However, we will more likely stay there again for the quietness of the hotel and surrounding.

Waterslide was way too fast for my six and three year old (and they aren't scared of anything) (note: reception did warn us at check in). No other concerns. Beds were comfortable. Rooms and hotel were clean. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Restaurant food was delicious and filling. Waitress was very helpful/good at accommodating our over tired kids. We'd come back when the kids are a bit older.

This is a very new motel, very clean and modern. Free wi-fi. The neatest thing about this motel was the pool, it was warm with a fantastic slide! Kids will love this motel. Also, the rooms are large and there are 'Kids' rooms that allow parents to have their own room and TV with a separate area for kids to have their own beds (2) and TV. Small refrigerator and microwave, as well. Another neat feature is that it is right on a fantastic marsh nature trail with birds and other wildlife.

Single mother and one dog. Expensive out of season. Dinning room opens late. Room facing parking lot. Shame on you for charging $220.00 for one night in October!!! Just wanting my child to enjoy the water slide while traveling through

BW is on the outskirts of town. Lobby and reception welcoming. Rooms were clean and roomy. Nice feature having a door opening to a balcony overlooking the woods. Nice walking trail with a preserve adjacent to hotel that was pleasant for a walk after hours of riding. Enjoyed the stay here.

In my opinion this property does not come up to the standard which we have come to expect from a BW "PLUS" property. The industry standard seems to be to include a complimentary breakfast, however none was offered here and I did not discern a proportional reduction in the room rate.

We had been unable to book an extra night at any of the hotels in Jasper so decided to stay at this hotel as it would be en route for our journey to Kamloops the next day. So pleased we did as it was far superior to the hotel we had in Jasper. Arrived late as we stayed late in Jasper but friendly welcoming check in. Great hotel, rooms clean and spacious. Ate in the restaurant in the evening,good food served by a lovely waitress (sorry can't remember her name but she had dreadlocks tied up in a scarf). If you're travelling from Jasper to Kamloops would recommend this as an alternative to an extra night in Jasper as it shortens the journey.

This property had some shortcomings that made the stay less enjoyable. The upholstered furniture was in need of a good cleaning, the hotel does not provide the typical Best Western breakfast, the ice machine was not working, and the housekeeping was lacking in doing a good job.

Stayed on our way through. Had a three bed room which was great nice and big. Very clean rooms. Kids loved the pool and water slide. Outside of hotel was clean and very well kept. Only one slight issue was the drain spout for eaves was right outside our window and was loud during the rain.

We arrived earlier than expected and were still treated in a friendly manner and given a room right away. The room was very comfortable and the first thing we did was to make a coffee and sit on the balcony in the sunshine. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and we both slept very well. We love this place and stay here each time we travel through Valemont.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus Valemount Inn on our way back from Alberta. Valemount is a smaller town located in the mountains of central eastern B.C. The Inn offers an excellent place to stay with a good restaurant and an in house lounge. If you are looking for more of a beer bar you can check out the bar at the old hotel on the other side of town. In the winter is well prepared for the snowmobilers that come to the area, including special security for their haulers and equipment.

This was a fabulous find. Our room was wonderful. Bed very comfortable and sheets felt new. Even the towels in bathroom were extra big and thick. Had a jacuzzi tub in our room as well. This is not in bathroom but out by bed. Small little deck that you can go sit on and view the scenery. I imagine it would be quite nice in winter as well. A fireplace as well. When I booked it I was not expecting all that. I was just booking a king room. Had fridge and coffee maker. Just off lobby there is a lounge area. Big fireplace in there and floor to ceiling windows looking out to nature. We ate there for dinner instead of going into restaurant as it was nicer atmosphere. We loved it there. The food was great and really nice sized portions. The girl working there was wonderful and made our time there very enjoyable. She looked after everyone on her own and did a fab job. We ate breakfast at the restaurant in the morning and the staff were so nice. The breakfast was great as well. If I'm ever driving through Valemount again I would def stay here.

This is about the halfway point between Edmonton and Vancouver. It was the first time I have stayed at this BW but it won't be the last. The restaurant had very good food. The service was a bit slow but well worth the wait. Super friendly people at the property. The mattress was one of the better ones to sleep on with big fluffy pillows. I only needed to use one for my head, sometimes I need to use 2 but not here. Beautiful area at the back to go outside and go for a walk. See you again Valemount BW.

They have a great restaurant ask for Krista as she attendant our needs great. They have a great diversity in there menu items,, and what we had you could not be any better. they have a great marsh walk which take about a hour.

We stayed 1 night on way to jasper NP, it is 1,5 hours drive. Staff was friendly, but place a bit dated ( bath, csrprtts, etc). Some amenities were not available, fitness, coffee machine,... Internet was too weak on room, that was disappointing.

We have reserved this room and during reservation we had options to use AAA membership for additional discount. To our surprise we realized in the morning that we do not have breakfast included in our package since we already used AAA discount. It is in a location where you don't have many options for breakfast in the neighborhood and so we had to left hotel without breakfast with kids traveling. We have never experienced this kind of treatment from any hotel where breakfast is taken away for using any membership card. We will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Such a nice location next to that lovely bird walk. Nice quiet town with friendly people. Enjoyed hot pool and swim in pool. The rooms were clean and airy. Staff were helpful and friendly. We were disappointed at not being allowed to sit in the downstairs lounge after having dinner in the main restaurant. We just wanted a cup of coffee and to relax. It was only for people eating dinner there in that lounge.

We enjoyed our stay. Our room was pretty big with separated living room and kitchen. Unfortunately it was too close to the reception so we heard people walking by and also our view from the bedroom was straight to the lobby so we had to close curtains immediately. Wide offer of TV channels.

We have tried to stay at a Best Western where ever our travels take us,be it Texas ,Nevada or Canada.Many of the hotels have breakfast included in the rate,which is convenient.It appears that the Best Western Corporation has done a modernization on many of it's hotels.

Nice facilities - the pool and hot tub were set at temperature where you could actually enjoy them! Over priced but options with a pool in that area are limited. Restaurant on site but no 'free' breakfast. If you're travelling with a pet your room options are limited and you'll probably get placed in a room that is not quite up to standard -- pretty typical of 'pet friendly' hotels--they should change the term to 'pet tolerant' -- it seems responsible pet owners are penalized for travelling with a pet.
