"Wonderful stay in UB"
Daniel H, 10 Avril 2024

Had a great stay with exceptional service from Ulzii and all the staff at the breakfast lounge, room service, and the top-floor bar. The pillows and sheets were comfy and the staff was very quick to help fix a minor wifi issue (each room has its own router). The bathroom amenities were nice as well as the shoe brush and polishing cloth provided in the closet. I look forward to coming back!

"Perfect stay!"
187ivent, 31 Mars 2024

Your best choice in Ulanbataar. Perfect location. spacious rooms, excellent view from the restaurant/ bar on the top floor. Staff is extremely friendly. especially at the front desk. Mrs. Zaya and Mrs. Solango went out of their way to help us with everything..

"Premier service:)"
cagataycan23, 21 Mars 2024

Thank you for Ulzii for her kind help and service. She was helpful to help to make everything goes smooth and comfortable. The location is great. Rooms are clean. Service is good. Food is nice. One of the best hotels of the chain. But be aware Ulaanbaatar has crazy traffic jams so be aware.

"Family vacation for 1 week"
ajaxamsterdam2015, 10 Mars 2024

I stayed in this hotel for 1 week. We had a family suite where there was a double bed, and a separate room where there were two single beds with a separate toilet and washbasin. The room was very spacious for 3 people, with gorgeous views of the Ulaan Baatar skyline. The bathroom we stayed in had a separate shower and bath, and both were very clean with great amenities provided. Our stay included free breakfast, although the choices weren't that great, and sometimes when some items were running low in supply, they weren't always replaced. We must give specific praise and thanks to Buyanaa - she made our stay that much more pleasant in many ways: 1. She gave us detailed and patient guidance about visiting the city sights (with maps, directions, annotations etc.), and helping us arrange transport there (preventing us from being cheated loads of money) 2. When we got back she offered a morning call the following morning (we had an extremely early flight), as well as arranged for us to have one packed breakfast each to take with us to the airport (the were good-tasting toasted sandwiches) 3. Her attitude and friendliness really stood out - she was a star and has done real credit to her industry and country. Bravo!

"Excellent location"
cmcmcm1, 18 Février 2024

We stayed here for a week over the Lunar New Year period and used the hotel as a base to explore Ulan Bataar and the surrounding area. Location is definitely the best of the chain hotels in town, literally facing parliament and the main square. On the other side of the square were the main tourist streets so it was all quite easy. However the traffic to get out of town can be worse because you are in the middle. The Family Suite was excellent for 2 adults and 2 young kids in their own beds. Aside from the master bathroom there is a small toilet. Service was quite good and there is no problem with language. The rooms were clean and service and housekeeping excellent. Our bathroom had a hole in the corner which leaked water out to the bathroom floor so some things could be improved.

"A life changing experience"
naftalic2, 10 Février 2024

Perfect hotel, comfortable beds, crazy view, the most perfect location, there are all the available facilities, and above all, the staff is friendly, patient and very special, and especially to the amazing manager Anna, who went out of her way with an extraordinary gesture to all my requests, I will never forget it with all the other experiences from Mongolia,

"Warm and kind"
Lauren J, 05 Décembre 2023

Something special about the Best Western Tuushin in UB is the friendly and helpful staff. Buya is an absolutely amazing staff member - and there are countless others who have helped me while on my stay. When it's -4 *F outside, the warmth of the staff and their helpfulness really puts you at ease. This is my second time at the BWT and I would stay here again!

"Second Chances"
794KimH, 12 Octobre 2023

Five years ago I stayed here and gave a bad review of this hotel because my hotel room was so hot around this same time of year. The management did try to rectify the situation for me and upgraded my room and asked me to remove my review. I had problems removing my review during my stay and the hotel staff were relentless throughout my entire stay about me removing said review. Even to the point of involving other business partners I was with, which didn't make matters any better. Fast forward to the present. I'm on the same mission trip as I was five years ago. I happened to stay at a different hotel on day one this time rather than this hotel. Deja vu of five years ago! So after a short trip to the Gobi Desert for two days, rather than return back to said first day hotel, our mission team decided to stay at this hotel. And what a great decision!! Our entire team the next morning were all smiles and so happy and everyone, including myself, were rested and ready to take on the day of helping the children and families of Mongolia!

"Four Excellent Nights / Top-notch Hotel"
KatharineCoeur, 05 Septembre 2023

Clean, comfy beds, great shower! Friendly & helpful staff (although don'texpect fluent English anywhere in town, including the hotel except the front desk). Great location, just enough off the main square = relatively quiet. Excellent breakfast included. No complaints. And the windows open = fresh air!

"Nice hotel "
Lee K, 13 Août 2023

Nice hotel and a good location near the Parliament building, the National History Museum, and the Genghis Kahn museum. Good breakfast selections and three restaurants. The room has a safe and minibar.

"Inexcusable lack of service "
viveksrivastava1954, 07 Août 2023

The rating is based on the appalling and unacceptable service we received in the Premier Lounge on August 7. We arrived at the hotel from Khovd via Uglii at about 10:00 pm at the end of a long day. The website showed that the Premier Lounge is open till 12:00 am/midnight. The Guest Services booklet in the room shows that it is open Monday-Sunday up to 2:00 am. Our group of nine was seated by 10:20 pm. The waitress alerted us that the kitchen would close very soon, so we placed our orders quickly. She returned soon after to say that the kitchen refused to service the order! We approached the senior most staff in the lounge (there was no manager). This gentleman did not respond to us or apologize and maintained a studied silence. This is unacceptable in a hotel that claims high standards.

"Room with a view"
annamaria_helsinki, 28 Juillet 2023

A basic good hotel. Nothing special but served well. Friendly staff, ok breakfast. Nice view from the room and the location is ok, in a walking distance from the city centre. Nothing to complain but nothing special either.

"Unbelievable stay at the Best Western Premier Tuushin Hotel"
E606ZLmariap, 26 Juillet 2023

My friend and I recently travelled extensively across northern and central Mongolia. It was a jam packed trip with several internal flights. We stayed in excess of 4 nights at the Best Western and at all times the entire staff have been very accommodating. They have always been willing to assist with requests large and small. I'd particularly like to mention Davaa from Reception and Gerelee his supervisor for their exceptional service. I would highly recommend this central hotel by the city square for its comfort and well trained staff.

"Good Hotel "
LeslieG_8, 03 Juillet 2023

Stayed here 3 different times while on a tour of Mongolia. Staff at front desk are friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable but air conditioning was very cold and could not adjust so finally had to just turn it off. Hotel is in great location a block from the big square and close to a large mall and cashmere store on the corner and another across the street. (Note: entrance to the mall is on second floor from the cashmere store on the corner outside of hotel and to the right). I had one major issue- I turned on my “do not disturb” light when we left for the day and when I returned that evening the light was off and my room had been made up. I advised the tour guide who said something to the front desk person and she responded that the room had only been entered to leave new bottles of water - so I guess if you have the do not disturb sign on they still enter to leave water? It was upsetting because they never addressed the issue of making up the room. The other two times we were only there for a night and things were OK. Room had amenities such as soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion as well as coffee and tea, but bring your own washcloth if you are used to using one. Also room has a safe. Breakfast buffet was good but not wonderful but it was the best we had out of all of the other places we stayed while in Mongolia. Hotel can also provide airport pick up and return for a fee if you contact them and advise arrival time and number of people and suitcases. Hotel is located about a one hour drive in normal traffic from airport and 20-30 min longer in heavy traffic.

Very good hotel in all aspects: reasonable price, central location, comfortable ooms, brkfst buffet, service & attitude. One MAJOR annoyance: elevators. There r only 2, for this big and tall hotel. VERY slow; need to wait more than a few minutes for your turn.

"Cleanliness, staff & service"
582LeeShung, 28 Juin 2023

I had a excellent 3 days in June 2023. I loved the room, the service, friendly staff, Mongolian breakfast corner. Also liked cleanliness, personnel and service, equipment, conditions and installations of the property.

"A superb hotel."
IanWriter, 23 Juin 2023

This is an excellent modern hotel with extensive amenities. The rooms have floor to ceiling windows and are spacious and comfortable, with desk, bed, couch and chair, and an excellent bathroom. The restaurant is very good and the breakfast buffet is outstanding. The wifi signal is good. The staff are exceptionally polite, helpful, and efficient. Highly recommended.

"Best hotel choice in UB for both business and leisure"
roastduck, 22 Juin 2023

Centrally-located just next to Sukhbaatar Square, with ample food and dining choices as well as 24hr convenience stores within 5 to 10 mins walk, the Best Western Premier Tuushin Hotel is super clean, well-maintained, and hands down the best place to stay whether you're visiting UB for business or leisure with family. We stayed for 3 nights in June and would like to thank the Front Office Team at the hotel for the excellent service provided and good spoken English used during our stay. They safekept our luggage during our trip to Terelj and accomodated our late check-in time as well. We stayed in a Family Room Suite overlooking the Square, and were blown away by the room size. It was huge! There was a king-sized bed in the bedroom and 2 single-sized beds in the adjoining room. It could comfortably sleep at least 4 adults and 2 kids, and there was a big bathtub, standing shower, as well as 2 toilets with bidet equipped. The room was well-equipped with strong wifi, fully stocked minibar and espresso machine, water pressure and hot water in the shower were both excellent. Daily housekeeping was on point and made sure we had clean towels and toiletries whenever we needed. Our booking came with breakfast, and we enjoyed the spread of both international and Mongolian choices at the buffet. I believe this is one of the few hotel breakfasts that also provides Mongolian breakfast food like bortsog, urum and Mongolian milk tea. We also dined at the lounge on the 25th floor, providing excellent nighttime views of Sukhbaatar Square, and had very delicious pizza, salad and steak. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and would definitely book the Best Western Tuushin in UB for our next visit in December!

"Was good."
blissexec, 20 Novembre 2022

The food were nice, the rooms were clean. There were a few hiccups during my stay but the staff were very helpful. Special mention goes to the guest relations manager Miss Khandaa. Will stay there again.

"Horrible service staff"
Muugii S, 15 Novembre 2022

Staff at reception is not happy with his work and he is very rude to the customers. Very nasty towards our colleagues who are checking out experienced this while i am waiting for them. If he is not happy with his job he should just quite and not be in the hospitality

"Great Hotel and staff"
rsratna, 18 Octobre 2022

Nice hotel at the centre of town..staff excellent. Ms. Khandaa, Guest Relations did an exemplary work when I needed urgent help. Rooms are nice and clean. The hotel is just two minutes walk from main square and has some good choices of room service

"Excellent Location and Comfortable Room"
Travelling_Axe, 23 Septembre 2022

We stayed here on 3 separate occasions during our travels in Mongolia. Each time we were impressed by the professional staff, both at check-in and at the breakfast buffet. They were courteous, professional and efficient. The only exception to this was the lack of a dedicated staff member at the omelette station at breakfast - the ingredients were there, but we never saw anyone manning it. However, the selection of other breakfast items was excellent and we didn't feel we needed the addition of an omelette. On each visit we had a different room, and each time it was clean, comfortable and with an excellent view. The beds were comfortable and large (King). Each room had a kettle, tea, bottled water and a fridge. Air con worked very well. The bathroom, with the funky window overlooking the bed, had a shower with very good water pressure and reliable hot water. The floor was even heated! The wifi worked well, with a wireless router in every room. The elevators were rather small, and one time while we were there one of the two was out of service, making for long waits. The location is excellent, half a block from Sukhbaatar Square, right next to shopping, and half a dozen restaurants within the same block (and even more within 3 or 4 blocks). You can't go wrong here! I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in Ulaanbaatar again!

"Outstanding hotel in Ulaanbaatar"
Thea S, 14 Septembre 2022

This hotel has everything a pampered westerner could want. The rooms are spacious, the reception is attentive. There are two restaurants and a bar with a fabulous view. The breakfast buffet has everything from salads, to pastries, to an omelette station. We had them launder a few items at a very reasonable price. The hotel is situated just a minute's walk from the great square and close to a bank and grocery store. We stayed here at the beginning and end of our journey

"Excellent location, clean, great base to start your Mongolian journey!"
Jennifer F, 25 Juillet 2022

The Best Western in UB is the perfect beginning and ending to your adventure travel in Mongolia. The rooms are standard but comfortable. The location is excellent and within walking distance to the square, mall, and restaurants. There is a restaurant in the hotel on the 25th floor with an amazing view! At the beginning of the trip, we used the Best Western Hotel as our base to gather additional supplies, recover from jet lag, and shower before heading out on our week of horseback riding in Mongolia. After riding for a week in Mongolia without a shower, the Best Western provided a wonderful, hot and comfortable shower as well as a comfortable bed. I will stay at the Best Western upon my next return to UB!

"Excellent Service"
S1653OTsebastianj, 30 Juin 2022

A delegation of twelve people used this hotel for 10 days. The staff is excellent, they always helped us with different requirements in a friendly manner. In addition, the rooms were cozy and spacious to rest and work without any problem. I definitely recommend this hotel if you're visiting Ulaanbaatar for business or pleasure.

"Great Stay in UB"
RicardoColorado, 27 Juin 2022

Everything about the BW Tuushin was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, spacious and quiet. And the location is right off the square and convenient to all the central UB attractions.

"Friendly and Caring Staff"
Niti_Saxena, 20 Avril 2022

I stayed in Best Western Tuushin Hotel for 8 days and had a very comfortable stay. Staff both at reception and housekeeping are extremely professional and friendly, especially Ms Khandaa and Mr Khandsuren at the reception.

"Quarantine Stay"
bundybear56, 27 Mars 2021

The room, food and professional management of hotel staff were all exceptional! Particularly like to complement the professionalism and fantastic customer service shown by Ariunaa. Also a great view from the room!

Hotel service is good, staff members is very friendly and always try to assist you in anyway, food is not to bad and the rooms is nice to stay in, I would go there again and was satasfide with the service.

"Outstanding Care & Kindness"
Stephaska, 29 Novembre 2020

During these difficult times, I returned to Mongolia for work and entered the Tuushin Hotel for 21 days of quarantine. I received extraordinary care and kindness from the hotel staff under very difficult circumstances. Despite their own restrictions, and families in lock down in Ulaanbaatar, they did everything possible to get my wife and I, and many others through our stay. The room, the delivered meals, medical checks, front desk, and their Manager were amazing. There will be better days, and I would urge you to consider the Tuushin on any future visit to this wonderful country. To the Manager, it is people like your staff that make the world a better place, LoL Stephen and Natasha

"Great Stay"
dntrip, 28 Juin 2020

From start to finish staying at this hotel was enjoyable. Great and helpful staff, doorman excellent, waiting staff on the 25th floor brilliant. Food great, however; there were a couple of things not on the menu which was disappointing. The view from the 25th floor was fantastic, especially at night. The room was very clean and the room service was very good. Highly recommend for a few days stay. All covid protocols in place.

"A traveler's Treasure"
mogalek, 15 Mai 2020

I spend four nights in the hotel; from the moment i entered the premises, i was well received and well taken care of. The facilities are excellent, hotel is a few mins walk to parliamentary buildings and well located. One could walk almost anywhere and back to the hotel. It then happened that my cellphone screen got damaged. The staff volunteered in assisting me to get the phone repaired. Service Manager walked me to the cellphone repair shop, negotiated on my behalf and my phone was delivered to my room repaired!! Thank you...

"Good place to stay"
doczahi, 24 Février 2020

We had 2 nights at the hotel. It is well located, just 2 minutes walk from parliament square. Nice and clean. Cosy rooms. Nice breakfast and welcoming staff. The staff were very helpful. Very recommend.

"One of the better hotels in Ulaanbaatar."
marskong, 02 Février 2020

We were in Ulaanbaatar for a wedding and the host put us into another hotel. After staying there one night and dealing with a whole list of issues and problems, we immediately moved out and instead checked into the Best Western Premier Ulaanbaatar. And it was worlds apart. The rooms were clean, the plumbing was working, air conditioning existent, and the breakfast was decent. The location was great too; it was a short walk to UB Square, making it a very central location to most of Ulaanbaatar. Right next to the hotel you can find KFC (our haven after so many days of Mongolian food), Nomads (quite a well rated Mongolian restaurant), Coffee Shops, a supermarket, and a mall. Front desk has staff who can speak decent English for you to get around, and the Customer Service Manager Ariuna was super helpful in recommending food, shopping places, tourist areas, guides, and anything you want to ask about UB in general. Wifi is decent. The breakfast is international and decent, but don't expect a grand spread. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and the views of the city are amazing if you managed to get one facing Sukhbaater Square. We felt super comfortable and safe staying in this hotel. I've stayed at a few different UB hotels before, and I'll say that this is the best value for money. If I do go back to UB, I'll definitely stay here again!

"Very nice hotel"
Skibumdude, 31 Janvier 2020

The Tuushin is a high-end, venerable hotel. The lobby was large and modern pleasant. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The views from our floor were spectacular. The wifi was fast and simple. Their breakfast buffet was competent though not overly elaborate nor memorable. Some hotels leave the visitor with a feeling of satisfaction, like one stayed someplace special. We never got that feeling. Perhaps it was due to the staff which was pleasant and cordial, but which did nothing to go out of the way to be helpful. Or perhaps was that the hotel felt average. Anyhow, it rates 4 stars, but not more. If we return, we might check out other hotels.

"Good hotel in the heart of the city."
Scarrowmanwick, 11 Décembre 2019

We stayed here for three nights on a stop during a train trip from Beijing to Moscow. The hotel in very close to Sukhbaatar Square and the main attractions within this fairly compact city. We had a high room with a panoramic view out over this very likeable city. The room was well-appointed and comfortable. The bar on the 25th floor was good. The hotel staff were very helpful, efficient and friendly. I liked the breakfast room where t he selection of food was excellent to get the day started. A good hotel which I'd highly recommend.

"Nice stay"
Claidhaim, 29 Novembre 2019

Great location for this hotel, within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and museums. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice with a wide selection and helpful staff. I would recommend this for a stay in Ulaanbaatar.

"Great Value/Lovely Hotel"
robert2, 18 Novembre 2019

My wife and I (and another couple traveling with us) stayed at the Premier Tushin Hotel for 4 days in September.2018 The rooms are very comfortable, adequate in size with outstanding beds. The hotel is perfectly located adjacent to Sükhbaatar Square and other attractions. Breakfast is bountiful and delicious and there is bar/restaurant on the 25th (?) floor that serves great food with wonderful views. Staff is helpful and efficient. All in all a great stay and a terrific value.

"Missed Potential"
travlaoz, 16 Novembre 2019

I booked a large room overlooking the square with good views over the city. The room was far too hot and as this is centrally controlled I was not able to turn down to a comfortable temperature. As a result windows were left open and air con turned off completely. The traffic noise well into the morning is horrendous and prevented a good night sleep. Bathroom is large with shower over the bath and window to bedroom. Shower hot and strong. The plug in the bathroom sink didn't work. A kettle and cups were supplied in room but no coffee - only tea bags. The bed was very comfortable as was the chaise next to the window. In room wifi was very good. There was a good selection of TV programmes available. There were no power points next to the bed so can't charge phone bedside. A safe is provided in room but it is no use as it is not bolted down. Night 1- I ate in the Prime Grille restaurant. I ordered Caesar Salad as per the menu but what I was served was not a Caesar Salad so it was returned. I ordered a steak medium rare but it arrived medium well. A disappointing experience. Night 2 - I ordered room service - a burger and a salad. I was called within a few minutes to be advised that burger was not available. Again disappointing. Breakfast was a large selection of hot and cold dishes and includes an egg station. A hotel of this standard with these rates comes with a level of expectation, In this case it was not met so I would not stay here again and I would not recommend it.

"Ordered 144usd room"
sarahadams9666, 11 Novembre 2019

It was comfortable and i guess it was a quite fancy. Everything was in world standard. Only downside was the staff they didn't speak very fluent english. I love how the location was in the city centre.

"Nice Hotel"
subdab, 08 Novembre 2019

I stayed in Best Western Premier Tuushin hotel for two week in October for both personal and business reasons. The services were very good, love the breakfast, they go out of their way to have different varieties everyday. I especially like to thank Ms. Ariunaa for her good service, she was very helpful I need one, not only she was friendly, also very professional. Again, thank you for all the help!

"Great mid level hotel"
boy4life, 10 Octobre 2019

I stayed at three hotels in one trip (Shangri-La, Best Western Premier Tuushin Hotel and Khuvsgul Lake Hotel). All were good in their own ways (Shangri-La was the best and charged like it, Khuvsgul was cheap but nice, Tuushin was nicely in the middle). The Tuushin is really well located for seeing Sükhbaatar Square, the museum and government buildings and a short walk from the up market mall next to the Shangri-La. Breakfast was surprisingly good, room service was perfectly good, there is a good upmarket burger place next door, but didn't make it to the bar with a view of the city. Overall was very good value and would happily stay here again.

"Great hotel in an ideal location"
TRFRider, 19 Septembre 2019

Stayed here at the start and end of a motorcycle trip. Hotel was clean and comfortable, big beds and decent hot showers. A lovely bar with great views of the city and all kinds of interesting people. Friendly and helpful staff.

"Hard to fault"
GrahamWM, 16 Septembre 2019

Nice to stay in a hotel where everything's perfect. Clean, comfortable, modern, well located, excellent breakfast. Temperature was ideal, and windows opened if you needed to bring it down a degree or two. All the little touches, such as bath robes and slippers — even face washers, which are becoming an endangered species in hotels in many countries these days. Wifi worked well. I didn't try the television. The only possible criticism was that it was necessary to climb over a half-metre high bath wall to get into and out of the shower, with no handrail for support. Might be a problem for the elderly.

"Great option and value"
Thomas G, 15 Septembre 2019

Spent ten days in Mongolia recently, and we were in and out of the Best Western multiple times. Staff could not have been nicer, the rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was great, and the location is very central. Hard not to like. Had a view to the main square in each of the rooms in which I stayed.

"friendly and helpful staff"
Izabella_Gorczyca, 30 Août 2019

I've stayed at Ulaanbaatar Best Western Tushin hotel three times during past two months - each stay was genuinely rewarding and enjoyable. Rooms are very pleasant and breakfast is just superb. They also have an excellent bar room with wonderful city panorama. All of these are to be expected in a hotel of such rank. What I found of really the highest quality is the hotel service. When traveling in Mongolia I had few disturbing issues and every time I was in need I could ask for any advice or help young and friendly Front Office Supervisor named Ariunaa. If it hadn't been for this person I might have encountered more problems and obstacles during my journey. To sum everything up - Hotel is great but hotel service (particularly in the person of Ms. Ariunaa) is just matchlessly greater. Izabella

"Excellent stay"
TheTreeHouseLodge, 28 Août 2019

Our team of adventure motorcyclists and I stayed at the Tuushin Hotel on and off for over a month between tours around Mongolia. the Tuushin Hotel has proved to be an excellent base for us and our clients and the service has been outstanding. The staff have been just amazing and helpful. I would highly recommend the Tuushin to anyone coming to Ulaanbaatar.

"Very convenient"

Highly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure Sigrid Thomas Australia

"Not bad"
theboudoirkw, 24 Août 2019

Takes around 35-40 min to reach hotel from the airport (international/domestic) by car. Located in the heart of the city right next to Sukhbaatar Square some of the rooms look out into the square ask for a room with the view. The rooms aren't bad. Service was really good. There are a few restaurants around like next door Black Burger Factory, which is supposed to be a good burger place. A huge cashmere shop/company is just steps away, it's the best in the country so make sure to pay it a visit. National theater is also within walking distance and you can practically walk to Shangri-La mall (part of Shangri-La hotel) because the streets always has traffic jams that take forever. Also steps away is a nice supermarket. I didn't like the breakfast buffet. And room service was a bit of a hassle they don't understand English so it's not easy to order I had to call reception to order. The restaurant is good though, where we had lunch.

"A Great Place To Unwind in Ulaanbaatar"
Retired_Miami, 03 Août 2019

If you like a WOW of a hotel, this should be your choice in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Ariunaa, the Front Desk Supervisor, welcomed us with open arms and made us feel like we were part of the Best Western Family. The buffet breakfasts were delicious. My go to omelette is usually egg white. This egg white omelette was truly one of the best I have ever eaten. Enjoying a drink or a delicious meal in the 25th floor Premier Lounge with its 360 degree view is a must. The location is right by the main square and the Parliament building. The view from our room is right out of Conde Nest Traveler. The gorgeous bathroom is fit for a king or at least a Khan. The only downside to staying here is that the room is so comfortable, you may not get up and out as soon as you had planned. This is truly a luxury hotel at a great price. If you stay at this hotel, please tell Ariunaa that John from Miami said thanks again for making our stay in Ulaanbaatar one of our best vacations ever.

"Comfortable stay"
gxq01, 02 Août 2019

I stayed here for 5 nights with my colleagues. The hotel is located in the center of Ulaanbaatar, so I can enjoy the night view of almost the whole city. My room is spacious, clean and quiet. Housekeeping staff keep my room meticulously clean every day. Breakfast on the 3rd floor is so yummy that I missed it a lot after we left. Staff are friendly and patient. Ariunaa, guest relations manager, helped me a lot. She is pretty, kind and outgoing. She showed me around and often talked to me when I was dining alone. I'm grateful for that. Therefore, I highly recommend Best Western Premier Tuushin Hotel if you are looking for a comfortable place to stay in Mongolia.

"Great stay"
jackhoundranch, 28 Juillet 2019

We had a group of 8 who stayed here for three nights. This BW has a good central location to base from. The rooms were comfortable and the beds a nice oasis after 10 days up north camping on horseback. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Avoid the steak house within this hotel. However the lounge on the 25th floor was refreshing with great city views. Note: if you need to charge electronic items when you're not in the room, find the one hot plug because power shuts off to the rest of the room when you pull your key card.

"Excellent in every way"
Anne S, 28 Juillet 2019

We stayed here for a total of 6 nights in between visiting various gers at the Gobi desert and other locals. The hotel is centrally located right near the main square, as well as the wonderful Goya/Gobi cashmere store and gallery shops. Rooms are clean and spacious with all amenities. Staff is attentive and friendly. Complimentary breakfast is excellent and the other food at the hotel is very good. It was great to come back to the comfort of this hotel in between our visits to the more remote locations. Great view of the square. The only caveat is that on weekends there may be noise from the nightclub nearby, especially the rooms on the side of the square!!

"“THE BEST”"
rhodora56, 21 Juillet 2019

I was on an adventure tour of Mongolia and the BEST WESTERN PREMIER TUUSHIN HOTEL was my home for 6 days. It has an unparalleled prime location in the heart of Ulaanbaatar city. It is ~30 minutes away from the international airport but the traffic during rush hour can be frustrating. It is situated in the heart of the city, where the excellent eating and shopping places are located. It's a stone's throw to the Sukhbaatar Square. This hotel affords its guests all the modern amenities that you can find in a 5-Star luxury hotel. My room is spacious and has the view of the Square. Room amenities include slippers, bathroom, hair dryer, daily replacement of hair products. Also, there is an electric carafe in the room with an assortment of tea bags. The room has its own router, hence a very strong WiFi signal. The breakfast room located on the third floor is a galore of delectable good eats of American and Asian cuisine. Dinner can also be enjoyed at the 25th floor. The staffs are friendly and attentive. They took care of storing my big luggage as the flight to the Gobi (Dalanzadgad) limits the size and weight of luggage to bring. Overall, my visit to Mongolia is an unforgettable experience and my gratitude to Best Western Premier Tuushin for providing a comfortable home away from home. This hotel is truly the BEST in its class.

"Great hotel in central UB"
roj1281, 19 Juillet 2019

This hotel is very nice and is located in the central area of Ulaanbaatar. Close to Sukhbaatar square and many restaurants. Its a short walk or taxi ride to the State Department store also. Very comfortable and clean. The restaurant in the hotel has good food.

"UB's best located hotel"
slinglim, 18 Juillet 2019

If you are in UB especially during the Nadaam festival you can't get a better place to stay than at this hotel. It was within walking distance to the Square to watch the opening parade & later the evening concerts & fireworks. But be warned, because of the evening festivities you should request a room away from the Square. Good rooms, good service great breakfasts.

"Terrific Tuushin"
afcok, 17 Juillet 2019

We stayed a total of 3 nights in a deluxe king room. It's by far the highest calibre Best Western we have visited. The hotel is modern and well located, the rooms large, well equipped, clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet extensive for both Asian and western tastes.Check in and out is swift and painless. A welcome start to, and recovery from, a tour of a fascinating country.

"Comfortable and friendly Hotel"
clove700, 01 Juillet 2019

I stayed at this hotel for one week on business. My room was on the 23rd floor with amazing views of the city. The room and bathroom were both spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was served in the restaurant on the third floor and was of a good quality- especially the eggs / omelette cooked to order. The TV included most international channels and the wifi in the room was very good. I am not sure if wifi is available in the common areas as each room seems to have its own router. The hotel is very centrally placed with plenty of eateries near by but the 25th floor lounge is also an excellent choice both for the view, the good quality international cuisine and the charming serving staff. Overall my experience of visiting Mongolia was a very pleasant one and I would like to return as a tourist to see more of the Country.

"Unexpected, but very welcome luxury after a hard night on the Trans Mongolian Express"
FootloosePair, 06 Mai 2019

I arrived with low expectations (given the price paid), expecting it to be a run-down chain hotel, but was pleasantly surprised by the huge comfortable room, large bathroom and friendly professional service. Arriving at 8.30am in the morning after a hard night in an unheated compartment on the Trans-Mongolian Express, we didn't expect our room to be available so were delighted when we could get access to the room immediately, and there was no problem at all for us to switch our included breakfast from day of departure to day of arrival. Great location for 3 days of sightseeing in Ulaan Baatar, fabulous 25th floor cocktail bar, great for place for a sun-downer as the lights of the city come on all around you. The laundry service was a bit hit and miss with our clothes finally arriving the morning of our departure, but the staff worked hard to sort the problem for us. However, we were told the city wide central heating had been switched on that day, causing some disruption, so I think we were just unlucky. Unbeatable value for money at around £65 per night for a double room with breakfast on a book-in-advance deal.

"location is ideal"
Mattingly_34, 23 Mars 2019

Out of all the hotels in Ulaanbataar, this one is located right where the action is. The rooms are spacious with all the modern amenities. The higher the floor, the grander the room. Pillows are a bit stiff, but the beds are quite comfortable. The breakfast is average. The views from the rooms are great, and visit the 25th floor at sunset.

"Pleasant accommodation in Ulaanbaatar"
Ron S, 10 Mars 2019

I had a very comfortable stay in this hotel, for a short working visit to Ulaanbaatar. Stayed on the 11th floor in a very quiet and comfortable room where everything worked as it should. Excellent bed, good, well-lit bathroom, good internet service.

"Exceptional Service"
Haylynn, 27 Janvier 2019

Would like to commend the hotel for it's exceptional service. 1 staff member, in particular, deserves separate, standalone mention - Ms. Ariuntungalag Myagmarjav (a.k.a. Ms. Ariunaa) / FO Supervisor). I left behind some items during a recent stay (room 12XX, December 2018). The hotel and Ms Ariunaa offered excellent, effective and efficient help to ensure that i receive the items back. The hotel is highly commendable, and Ms Ariunaa has demonstrated her worth as a valuable employee. Many thanks to the hotel and best wishes for the way forward, from a grateful guest.

"New Year Dinner Party"
Oyuna O, 27 Décembre 2018

My former students (people around of 20) organised a dinner party at Best Western Premier Tuushin Hotel lounge on its14th floor. It was a meeting of all of us after 32 years on 13rd December this year. I must say the service we received that evening was immaculate, the meals (all 3 course) were well presented, with immaculate attention to details, and the steak with that pink in the middle was great. If anyone wants to have a nice time and have a good dinner then please go there, you wont be disappointed.

"One of the best in Ulaanbaatar"
Sergey N, 15 Décembre 2018

very central, perfect breakfast, friendly staff, rooms require renovation but good. sockets are in inaccessible locations. smoking and nonsmoking rooms. there supermarket and several restaurants nere of the hotel.

"Good location "
nielser87, 10 Décembre 2018

Overall, for a short stay, this hotel does the trick. It's categorized as a 5*, which it's not; however, for the price you pay it's not a bad deal. The main issue is that this hotel is outdated. I can see how it used to be the best hotel in town, but unfortunately that's not the case anymore. Spa treatments are cheap, as are both restaurants. Location is great.

"Great location"
Vasc0P, 14 Novembre 2018

The Hotel is everything you would expect from a major hotel chain; large rooms, good service, great reception staff, extensive breakfast options, great value. I would thoroughly recommend a stay - ask for a room overlooking the Chenggis Khan square.

"A room with a view "
petitefureteuse, 12 Novembre 2018

This hotel is the perfect place to stay before or after experiencing the yurts. Even if its premises are quite impersonal you will find here all the accommodations you may have missed (or will miss) when touring this incredible country. The staff is nice and efficient and the breakfast offers quite a wide range of choice. If it's possible ask for a room with the view on Oulang Bator central square.

"Nothing special but adaquate"
lawm, 19 Octobre 2018

Stayed here a couple of nights and the room was dated and worn. The breakfast buffet was typical Western and Asian food, but the staff was great as they actually knew how to make an omelette and knew what type of tea I liked each morning. When my errant luggage arrived a few days late, the staff knew how happy I was (maybe they recognized me and my same clothes day after day). Checked out the top floor Bar and Restaurant, but it was empty and expensive.

"A nice hotel, but way too hot"
CorvettePete, 13 Octobre 2018

We stayed here on two occasions for a night each time. The hotel is very nice and the rooms very comfortable. The rooms on the west have a great view over the Parliament and the main square. The breakfast was also very good. The big let down was the temperature in the rooms. We could not get ours to cool down at all and it was running at about 28 degrees. On our first visit, having the windows open seemed to improve this but even this didn't work on the second visit. Apart from the heating issue I would highly recommend this hotel. I have taken off one point for that problem. We also ate at the Bar/Restaurant on the top floor of the hotel. This was a highlight of the hotel. We came here a couple of times during our stays here. It is a beautiful spot with great views over the city. The service was friendly and efficient. (The only black mark is that they seem to not have a lot of the wine that is on their wine list. This is a problem across this hotel.) We had dinner there one night and the steaks and pizzas were very good.

"Best In Town"
Travel_Pin_Man, 09 Octobre 2018

This is the ideal hotel to use as a base as you explore the various areas in Mongolia. We stayed here four different times as we ventured out and it was a great base to return to. The beds and linens are great. The hot water was good mostly but one day we were unable to get anything beyond cool. The wifi is very good and the room comes with the usual amenities. The luggage storage is handled very safely and efficiently. The breakfast is great with a good mix of hot and cold dishes. We had room service one night and it was prompt and good food. One big complaint is the rooms are very hot in cold weather unless you turn the heat off, which is what we did, and even open the windows. I recommend this hotel.

"Great Staff."
jeff o, 09 Octobre 2018

During my stay I seriously injured my finger in an accident in front of the hotel. I entered the lobby leaving a bloody trail. The staff immediately rendered assistance and called for emergency medical care. Ariunaa, a supervisor at the Best Western, became my support and ambassador. She is an amazing young women and I was lucky she was there for me. She came with me to the hospital, was my translator as no one spoke English. She expertly got me thru all the lines and Mongolian procedures. I had an unfortunate situation but without the help of the lobby staff and Ariunaa, my situation would have much more serious. The staff of the Best Western deserve 5 stars and Ariunaa 10.

"Comfortable stay"
Mila Agacid A, 08 Octobre 2018

The hotel is at its best but supply is good for only one person while we are a couple staying 1toothbrush and one pair of sleeper, we stayed 3 nights before our countryside tour and another 2 nights after and it was only on our last 2 nights stay that we were replenished with the complimentary bottled water. We should be given room with the same view on our last 2 nights but we requested another view and they immediately give in to our request and i really appreciate them for being considerate but our room's internet was not working and the bath tub drain is not working well so they decided to transfer us immediately to another floor and i thank you for their fast action even tho' it was a hassle for us to pack again. Overall we still enjoyed our stay since the hotel is near to everything and the spread of breakfast is more than enough to energize for another day activity.

"Great room except for the A/C"
Kim H, 29 Septembre 2018

Always a mice hotel but the room air conditioner doesn't work. Thermostat is set for 5 degrees Celsius but yet my room is 28 degrees. I have the windows wide open and requested a fan and still not cooling down. I suffer from migraines and this is causing me to get migraine. First night and this is not acceptable.

"Helpful staff"
TARDIS4956, 24 Septembre 2018

Nothing special about the hotel. It has an excellent location, rooms are very clean and wifi etc work well. Breakfast area can be very crowded depending upon time. Beds are comfortable. We were due to check out for a flight to Beijing when we found it was delayed by 10 so,our tour guide spoke with the staff and they extended our check out time. The day was bitterly cold so not one for outdoors especially without warm clothes. We checked out at allotted time and sat in the lobby slowly getting colder when one of the staff came over and asked us if we would like warm water with honey and lemon. Then the Manager appeared and spoke with us about our stay and we mentioned our problems so he arranged for extra time in our room as it had not yet been serviced. This was even though the hotel was fully booked for the night. This was very much appreciated. Thank you for this.

"Perfectly fine - but nothing special"
jamie5126, 22 Septembre 2018

Just stayed in Tuushin hotel last week before leaving on a tour of Mongolian normadic life. The hotel is fine - but some rooms are showing age. Breakfast was poorly organized and not particularly good. There are only two elevators so during peak times you might wait a while to get up or down. If you are using this hotel as a gateway to seeing the spectacular Mongolian life outside of UB then it makes a perfectly fine jumping off point - but the experience at the hotel itself is just average. Not sure about other options - I have not stayed at Hotel 9 but hear that it is newer (but does not have a view of the city as it only has about four floors),,,

"very good value business hotel in a central location"
Alvin V, 17 Septembre 2018

Well-appointed rooms and located centrally in Ulaanbataar. Buffet breakfast is excellent. A couple of downsides are the slow elevators (only two, which is inadequate for a high rise hotel) and sometimes inconsistent hot water for the shower. The executive lounge on the top floor offers great 360 views of the city.

"On the main square, central to everything"
Braidgirl, 07 Septembre 2018

What a find! From this hotel you can walk everywhere in UB but beware of pickpockets watching the entrance of the hotel. The executive rooms have a fantastic view and are spacious and very well appointed. The shower over the bath could be a major problem for older people and travelling with small children as the bath is very high. The breakfast on the 3rd floor has a nice assortment and the egg station is fantastic. The front office staff are friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help one of our group who was sick. They even bought soup and checked up on her without us prompting them. This hotel deserves 5 stars for their service.

"Thermostats don't work"
XenophonAnabasis, 29 Août 2018

This is a nice hotel in every way except for the HVAC. We stayed in 4 rooms on three occasions, and had problems with air conditioning in every room. The employees set the air conditioner on 5 degrees Celsius (59 Fahrenheit) and you are expected to turn the air conditioner on and off as the room gets warmer and cooler. If you set the thermostat for 24 degrees, the air conditioner continues cooling nonstop with the room getting to 19 or lower if you don't turn it off. When we complained, an employee came and told us to leave the thermostat on 5 degrees and turn the A/C off if the room got too cool. In one of the rooms, the A/C didn't work at all and we were moved to another room where the thermostat didn't work. This situation is really unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. The WiFi was very good, the breakfast was very good, reception spoke good English. The rooms were large. In our last room, the bracket holding the shower sprayer was loose so the water sprayed toward the curtain. Housekeeping should have noticed this and had it fixed.

"Excellent hotel"
Nilmini, 26 Août 2018

I originally booked to travel solo, and Nomgon (reservations manager) was absolutely superb with his management of my accomodation needs and also organised an amazing tour for us. The hotel is located right next to the square, excellent service, excellent food, and superb service. You can walk to restaurants and shops. Breakfast was excellent with eggs made to your liking, with many hot and cold dishes, fresh coffee and pastries. Breakfast is included in your room rates. They can also organise airport transfers.

"Impressed my German guests"
bayarchingo, 20 Août 2018

Not one to write a long review but in this case, I have to since I was most gratified by the service of the staff. Upon arriving at the hotel, I had a long cut on my palm and was given first-aid treatment by a lone receptionist (it was 11.30 pm). She helped clean my wound, and bandaged it like a pro in the most of 2 minutes, saved me a trip around the city to look for a pharmacy. Best value for money hotel in UB. Rooms are of good size and well-maintained, and the bed!!! My sleep is very precious to me on business trips, and I slept like an infant on the 22nd floor. Views out of the windows pretty much tops any in the city. Me and my fellow travellers were served by a German/English-speaking waiter in the Executive Lounge! That is to say the staff in general were quietly efficient without any fuss, and well-spoken too. I have gone out of my way to take photos, since I owe it to my saviour, the receptionist!

"Nice hotel "
wolf3728, 20 Août 2018

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights over a 10 day period. The hotel is in a good location for walking, near the central square. The breakfast buffet is good. They held part of my luggage for the internal flights in Mongolia.

"Comfortable, clean and friendly"
kellymathews2018, 18 Août 2018

I stay at this hotel semi-regularly for work, with my longest continuous stay at one month. The staff here are always friendly, the rooms are pretty clean, the beds are very comfy and I always feel safe here. I'd like the room service menu to have a refresh, but as a short term traveler the current menu is likely to satisfy. Always a pleasure to stay here.

"Pleasant stay but only average "
Rupert S, 15 Août 2018

Overall location was excellent but service and facilities were average. Food was OK only with small and rather crowded dining area. However good Base for visiting nearby attractions like main city square and the national museum.

"Nothing to fault"
TheWilk0s, 14 Août 2018

We stayed here for 3 nights. One night on arrival, as well as before and after as part of a tour package. Large western style modern hotel, with spacious rooms and views over the square. Handy to everything. Reception spoke great English and nothing was too much trouble. Not the cheapest place in town if you are on a tight budget.

"Very Good Hotel"
701David, 12 Août 2018

The Tuushin Hotel is well located for getting around the city of Ulaanbaatar. It's runs efficiently and has excellent staff, helpful and operate with a minimum of fuss. Pricey but very clean and panoramic view of the city.

"Good Location"
JKM73, 11 Août 2018

Best thing about the hotel is its location just a stone's throw from the main square. Otherwise it is fine but pretty ordinary for the price. The executive club was a disappointment so I would not bother paying extra for a Club room. The Premier Lounge on the top floor has decent enough food and good views over the city. I have not visited any of the more modern alternatives in the city but suspect there are better options for the price.

"Excellent property. "
123susan456, 26 Juillet 2018

Easy check in. Breakfast was very good, numerous dishes to choose frim. Very good beds. English tv stations good location. Good service. Honorable hotel. I would highly recommend the bestwestern premier tuushin

"The Best"
wonderlust_9, 21 Juillet 2018

Our room on the 20th floor was wonderful. The executive lounge on floor 23 was luxurious with unparalleled views of the Square and the city. The breakfast buffet had everything including Indonesian food- see photos. The staff was polite, friendly and helpful. The location was central. A real privilege to stay there. Thank you

"Well appointed, comfortable and friendly"
BEdwards77, 16 Juillet 2018

I stay here twice a month, for over a year now and find the staff friendly, the food tasty, the rooms clean and well appointed. Central heating is in each room.for the cold winters as us reverse cycle air conditioning. There is the odd occurance when the aircon doesn't cool very well in the middle of summer. The hotel is in a good central location. There are CCTV cameras in all public areas and walkways.

"Almost 5 stars"
Laurel M, 16 Juillet 2018

We were only planning on staying here two nights and extended to three (forfeiting our non-refundable reservation at the other Best Western outside of town). This is a wonderful base to recharge at from touring Mongolia. For the first time ever, I felt the bellhop actually earned his tip. He not only delivered our bags, but explained some of the quirks of the room. 2 complementary bottles of water, radiant heat bathroom floors, robes (however, the first night I was there there was a random hair on my robe), slippers, excellent water pressure, beds, pillows and amenities. Excellent, fast, well priced room service. (We NEVER order room service and we did it twice) Because we had to depart very early they put together a complementary to-go breakfast. Very nice! When traveling it's sometimes hard to remember what day it is. I love that their elevator carpets tell you what day of the week it is!! Two downfalls... the cab from the airport on two separate occasions was 25,000T and 30,000T. When I asked the hotel to book me a cab for early morning flights it was 55,000T. Their shuttle is something way more. I think 90,000T. Also, my foot found an old apple core under the bed. Yuck!

"What a Great Surprise - Outstanding Property"
PatrickLongBeach, 12 Juillet 2018

I would highly recommend this hotel - great property and great location. We stayed a total of six nights off and on during out trip to Mongolia. Normally we stay at the five star property, however, we got booked into this property. When I heard Best Western I was not impressed, but this one is different. The staff are all outstanding with quick service all the time. If you call for room service, they are fast beyond belief. Our room was on the 20th floor and appears to have just been renovated. Great soft bed, new carpet, large room and bath, mini bar, etc. Everything you need for a great stay. The breakfast is buffet style with cooked to order eggs, etc. You have plenty to choose from. We also had dinner here and it was also excellent with great flavors. The people in the business center were extremely helpful. The lounge on the 25th floor has excellent drinks and a great view. I have nothing but great things to say about this place.

"Great location and good restaurants"
ronvoyage, 12 Juillet 2018

Stayed three nights in total with a friend at the Best Western Tuushin Hotel in UB in a double room during the Naadam Festival. This five star hotel offers most features you would expect in a four star hotel and a dandy included breakfast. Because my friend was ill, we checked in early at 9:00am and were charged an additional 30% of the daily rate even though the room was available. Because the travel season for tourists is short, I guess the hotel needed to maximize its revenue during the festival. No money changing services were available at the hotel, so be prepared to find your Mongolian money elsewhere. Ordered the beef burger from room service and it was excellent, hot, fairly priced and delivered quickly, so I did it again. The hotel is secure, safe and only a ½ block from the city square where much of the action happened. Ask for a room with an odd number to view the square from your room. The restaurants offered a varied of items and we reasonably priced.

"Ulaanbaatar a place to stay"
Geoff1861, 10 Juillet 2018

Ulaanbaatar has a range of hotels that are ok but need some refurbishment. The tuulshin by comparison was in pretty good shape. It has a great location just near the main square so you can easily walk to most of the interesting places around the centre of town. The room was good being a fairly standard size with a comfortable bed and a bathroom with a window into the bedroom. There is a blind you can use. Good internet. The breakfast area is a little small so if the hotel is full and you come at a peak time around 7:30 you will struggle to find a table. The food is quite good with a reasonable, mainly western range. Laundry service is fast and efficient. All in all I enjoyed my stay.

"Great luxury base"
JoanruthB, 10 Juillet 2018

I don't usually stay in 5 star hotels - I like to be down closer to the real country. But the Best Western Premier Tuushin Hotel in Ulaan Baatar is a good choice anyway. It hangs right over the central plaza which always has some event happening and you can watch from you air conditioned room. The staff is unfailingly helpful, the food good and, when you come back sweaty and tired from rural adventures, your are so glad for the comfort of this lovely hotel.

"Every Expectation Met"
Ajit C, 09 Juillet 2018

I was in Ulanbaatar for a conference, and did not know quite what to expect from a city that is relatively less visited and from a hotel that I knew nothing about. 5 nights at the Best Western Tuushin (locally called the 'Tuushin' hotel) left me deeply impressed. The quality of the room was excellent, with a view of the city, working air conditioning, and all the necessary modern gizmos. The hotel was clean; the breakfast menu was great; the location was right in the centre of town next to Sukhbaatar Square; the staff were well trained and enough of them had a working knowledge of English to meet one's requirements. I had a great time! If I were to make a suggestion, it would be that there need to be one or two plug points available at or near the desk so that one can plug in a laptop and phone easily, and that coffee and milk powder be provided along with tea so that one could use the available kettle in the morning.

"Good Hotel "
Jing112313, 24 Juin 2018

Service is average.Need a lot of improvement in proper communication not necessarily English but positive posture and facial expressions. The mishap that happened when the room service dropped the phone and still charged me the food i have to explain again what happened , those in housekeeping towels and robes and toiletries are sometimes taken and not replaced.

"Comfortable with strategic location "
AnakJalan, 08 Juin 2018

Stayed here for 5 nights and attended a conference. My room was on a corner and had good views, lots of light but was quite small. Despite that it had everything I needed. Breakfast was included and seemed to have plenty of variety. It was spring and fairly mild outside so I did find the heating was too much in my room, with no way to turn it down. I did have minor problems in my room like a damaged powerpoint and trouble with the hot water but the staff were very responsive and had it fixed by the time I returned to my room that evening. I tried a massage at the spa and it was pretty good, with reasonable prices. The location was close to the main square and parliament building and a few blocks walk (10 minutes) to local shopping. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

"Great Location and Good place to stay"
rajivkhattar, 06 Juin 2018

I stayed for five nights recently At the Best Western Premier Tuushin, Can say that it is comfortable to place to with spacious rooms, good view over looking the Main Square of the town, clean rooms , the buffet breakfast was good. Staff is courteous and helpful. Overall a good experience.

"Great hotel in an interesting place."
AfghanJack, 20 Mai 2018

I spent six nights recently at the Best Western Premier Tuushin and was pleased with the quality of the room, the buffet breakfast, and room service when ordered. It's not the finest and most palatial hotel I've ever stayed in, but it was quite good and I'd be happy to stay there again.

"Great location and ok hotel"
Filizanka, 16 Mai 2018

Good size room. Clean. Big window, nice city view. No iron in a room. Only tea served in room, no coffee. Nice feature was a glass wall between bathroom and the room which means one could appreciate city view from a bath. Room booked for two but set for one, so had to call room service. No swimming pool, spa access on 15% discount for guests. Breakfast ok. This hotel is in a great location, just a minute walk from the main square. There was a problem with bill (several extras added and price higher then at booking) but all sorted at check -out.

"The best Hotel to stay in Mongolia."
williamrosenberg75, 29 Avril 2018

I've stayed at this Hotel for a night. The Hotel is located centrally, where you can practically get to anywhere of importance in a few minutes. The rooms were spacious, and clean. The stuff spoke perfect English, and were most friendly with my requests. On top of that it was a bang for buck. Recommend this Hotel to anyone who's in Mongolia and looking for a place to stay.

"Never ever! Worst staff ands fully uncapable and incompetent GM"
??????? ?, 13 Avril 2018

If you wish anything bad and dissatisfying happened in your life please come to Best Western Tuushin Hotel. Nasty food, bad english-speaking stuff, useless frontdesk personal and fully incompetent and incapable General Manager. Day 1. The reception manager couldn't find a suitable restaraunt (!) in the evening. Day 2. I called a taxi for next morning, with room charge, underlined the adress and showed me on my smartphone. Day 3. Morning. The taxi comes and after long drive gets me late and to the wrong place. I am late to the C-level meeting, i have to reschedule, possibly lose the deal and also have to postpone the meetings for the whole day because of rescheduling the first meeting. Day 4. Evening. I call the reception and ask to find me a taxi, with room charge, and get me to specific point. And, guess what happens next! Taxi comes, with cash payment, and the driver doesn't know the address and he didn't get any info from the reception. And of course, that was the girl from previous evening, made the same mistake twice a day! So, i start speaking with the guys at the reception, asking them to call the GM. They refuse of course, telling that they don't do it for 30 minutes. After that, some really scaried and frightend guy comes and tries to explain that all this is not their fault and he is very sorry. Still no GM. After some hard communications he did called the GM, so we have a veeeeery long conversation with her, full of bad scripts, consumptions me as a liar and storyteller, and telling me she is on vacation far from the city, it is more than 5 hours to come so she won't. After she talked with her employees at least we found that my story was true. 30 minutes more she finally admitted i was right and it was her staff mistake. And of course there was a lot of interesting inside that conversation - for example, that she has more than 300 employees and can't manage properly them all (it is really a problem for a GMs nowadays, i see). Or the next funny thing, i said her that's a shame for the chain hotel to act like this. She told me that that is a franchise, privately owned, so the chain is not the influencer here (OOPS, so much for the franchise standarts and all the $M invested into brand and service). I travelled a lot, i do 70-90 trips a year, locally and internationally, but i see such a mess first time in a brand chain. So speaking shortly: - The GM is too good to speak to her guests personally - the frontdesk managers do not have any rights to solve problems and been somehow very scaried by the senior staff. - the reception staff are incompetent, lazy, ingorable and non-understanding the customer. Therefore, - I will never ever stay in BW chain around the globe, business or leisure - i will advise all my friends and colleagues to do the same - i will never let none of business events conducted for me or by me happen in that chain - i am seriously thinking about a lawsuit considering my lost meeting and deal because of that hotel. So, if you are willing to go to BW in Mongolia, or around the globe - don't do it!

"Good hotel in the city center"
V S, 25 Mars 2018

The hotel located at the city center of Ulaanbaatar. Spacious rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good quality of food at breakfast. Beautiful view from the sky lounge. Not expensive. Good value for money. I stayed in several hotels in this city. Best Western Tuushin is the best so far.

"Great western hotel in Mongolia's capital"
William J, 20 Mars 2018

A buddy and I stopped there for one night after a 6-day trip through the country during Feb 2018. Tired and looking for some western comforts, the BW in UB hit the spot. Staff is incredibly friendly and speaks English very well, the breakfast and lounge are well stocked and very accommodating and the rooms are large and spacious. Proximity to the main square is key and you can walk all over the city from there. Highly recommended.

"All round great..."
_joe_johnstone86, 02 Mars 2018

My stay here was very comfortable. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. The bathroom and shower particularly were impressive. My room also had a great view over the city. The bar/restaurant on the top floor was also nice for a drink, amazing views. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Hard to find fault. Recommended.

"Centrally located"
Nieuw_Yorker, 02 Mars 2018

The hotel is centrally located - beside Sukhbaatar Sq, close to restos, walking distance to shops and museums. The hotel is clean. Breakfast is adequate. Room service is delicious. Staff is polite and professional. Hope to come back!

"It's okay"
CocoSoul, 14 Février 2018

They don't really go out of their way to provide great service, which is nice because I don't like to be bothered. The rooms are spacious and the location is near most things. Too bad their pipes are not clean. I've had to shower with slightly yellow water even though they moved me to a room on the upper floor. The gym is okay. Equipment is outdated but functional. On the worst day, brown water spewed out of the faucets for two hours.

"Comfortable room"
Darryl A, 09 Février 2018

I had a very enjoyable two-night stay at the Tuushin Best Western Hotel. The room was very comfortable. The Premier Lounge on the 25th Floor is a great place to relax and have a few drinks and meal at the end of the day. Totally recommend this hotel if you are in Ulaanbataar

"Convenient location, friendly well trained staff."
flybizornotatall, 16 Janvier 2018

Just off the main square but in easy walking distance. There is a mid ranged priced supermarket across the street. It's closely located to Golumt bank, just a short 800-900 meter walk, which was the whole point of my trip to Ulan Bator, so this hotel was in a perfect location for me. The room was clean and spacious. If you book a family club room you get access to the top floor club which means you can get complimentary drinks 1-2 a day, which was a nice touch. Recommended.

"Big rooms in Premium Location"
Yenni R, 29 Novembre 2017

Nice experience, apart from a water problem experience once where tap water was completely off for few hrs in the morning. Other things are good! Standard room was spacious. Internet was good. Breakfast provided many options with wide-enough selections of bread, asian menu, etc. Overall the hotel gave good service.

"Holidays"
Lilian T, 15 Octobre 2017

We stayed here for two nights in may 2017, we were very impressed by the excellent service that this hotel offer .we enjoyed the morning buffet breakfast ?? and the nice and clean room to rest after traveling so far to Mongolia. We enjoyed our short pleasant stay here during our holidays in Mongolia ????

"Fine dinner with friends at the Premier Lounge"
Bold-Erdene, 05 Octobre 2017

Thursday night 7.:30 pm we had dinner with our 16 friends. The atmosphere of the Lounge was great. Not that noisy. And there are Life band is singing in English and Mongolian softly. I don't know how many days they have this, it was on Thursday. They started about 8.20 and sang 7 songs had some break sang by 9.20 pm again about 5 songs. View thorough the windows are great. Because night view is lights. Always good.

"Nice hotel in a great location "
FEP8, 02 Octobre 2017

We stayed at the hotel for two nights 10 days apart. Both of the rooms were spacious with nice bathrooms and good views. The only problem was that the heater stayed warmer than selected in the second room. The staff were helpful and courteous.

"A convenient place to stay in Ulan Bator"
JUW65, 17 Septembre 2017

We are here to give our Russian speaking training - we change the place every time, this time it is Mongolia. Having been in UB last time already 10 years ago - there is a magnificent change - so many new buildings and places - amazing!!! The BW hotel does facilitate nice bar, restaurant and of course also big, convenient, cosy and up to date rooms for business guests (and travellers of course). Service is excellent and quality is efficient. 100% recommendation for a stay!

"Buisness Trip"
Magnus S, 14 Septembre 2017

Rooms are nice and clean, well presented. Staff are friendly and helpful, level 25 has a nice view of the city and a relaxing place to have a few drinks and a meal. Meals are good and reasonable in price. I can recommend a stay over at the Best Western.

"Welcoming, Quality Service"
AaronAllenFlynn, 02 Septembre 2017

Much like the rest of Mongolia, this hotel has an air of friendliness and the takes care of everything you might need during your stay. They do everything they can do cater to your groups needs. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The room service food is moderate but on par with that of any western restaurant in town. The breakfast buffet had an omelet station, some fresh fruit (the white pears were crispy and delicious), hot food like potatoes, sautéed veggies, and a large pastry table. A sign of good service was how quickly they removed my plates after I was finished eating. The wifi was great. In the lobby and restaurant there was no password needed. In the room we were given a unique password. I can't speak to the price as this was a business trip but I'm sure it's not a bargain accommodation. However, you get what you pay for. And this was a great place.

"Best location, walking to many places of interest "
David_Chan_SG, 02 Septembre 2017

I requested for high floor facing the Genghis square but got upgraded to a room facing the other direction with unblocked view. Location is the main selling point of this hotel. Staffs could be more friendly. Breakfast is a bit not up to standard. The variety is enough but if the 3 breakfast I took, 2 days were ran out of hot coffee, tea and juices. Have to ask few times to get it refilled. The room is big comes with a bathtub. There is one dirty couch in the room should be thrown away. It's kinda of disgusting to sleep beside this dirty couch every night.

"Comfortable and great location with great views"
Sa-i44, 01 Septembre 2017

We arrived at the Best Western Premier Tuushin Hotel, about 30 minutes after leaving the airport as it was still early and there was no traffic yet. At the hotel we dropped off our luggage, showered (we had been traveling a long time), found some clean clothes and headed down to breakfast to eat. Our room was on the 12th floor facing Ghengis Khan square and the Parliament building. From here we could see tall buildings and then at the edge of the city, mountains covered in homes (and gers) with different colored metal roofs, imported from China. Red, green, blue, orange. Like a city of rainbows. Breakfast at the Tushin was primarily a western buffet with one dish labeled “Mongolian food.” That was a dumpling filled with beef. The main foods here in Mongolia are beef, lamb and a little bit of chicken. There is little pork as only a few pigs are grown in one part of the country. There was the ubiquitous omelet bar, cheeses (not yak cheese as I was expecting), breads, meats, fresh fruit and cereal. Standard. Later than night, before dinner, we headed up to the bar at the top of the Tushin Hotel where we had a free glass of wine or beer. We sat on the comfortable chairs and couches, drinking our wine and marveling at the 360 degree view of the tall, modern buildings surrounded by the mountains covered in gers and colored tin roofs. We came back and forth to the Tushin as we traveled around the country. All three of our rooms were about the same. Comfortable beds. Great views. Slippers. Good showers. Coffee maker. All the conveniences of home. In the lobby there is a marvelous painting made up of little horses. And when ever we left for a day or two, we were able to store our spare luggage at the hotel. The location is perfect, right across the street from the Genghis Khan square and walking distance to the State Department Store, museums and restaurants.

"Location and efficient"
dasgupta, 29 Août 2017

I spent four nights in a business trip to UB. This was my third trip to the city and my first stay at this hotel after staying at the Shangri-laast couple of times. Positives: - location is great..just adjacent to the Sukhbaatar square and very close to some dining options and all the Central mall - efficient - check in and check out was relatively quick and painless. - good views over the Sukhbaatar square if you get a room that side - size of club rooms were quite good and spacious Negatives - food : is quite ordinary. I ordered room service once and the food was very average and not what you expect from a 5 star. From then on, I decide to eat outside instead - breakfast : again the breakfast restaurant is quite poorly laid out, the tables are usually not properly cleaned after a guest has gone and you are left to sit with a stained table cloth. On top the spread of food is not very tasty and sometimes there was a long wait to even get the basics. Again the hotel did not seem to be able to cope with an average morning breakfast crowd. - room: while on average the room was clean, there were some stains on the wall which was not checked. On one morning the water coming out of the taps was orange in colour. It took the hotel almost till 8am to realise this and they promptly blamed the govt supply for this. However from a five star one would expect to have its own supply or some filtration system. Overall it was a very average stay and I would try somewhere else if there were some more options in the area and at similar prices. Given the limited selection of international hotel options in the city, you can stay there but don't expect it to be a 5 star experience.

"Best Western Premier Tuushin Hotel, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia"
Normwein, 26 Août 2017

This is a well located, nice hotel right next to Sukhbaatar Square and within easy walking distance of many cultural venues. We had a problem with lost luggage on Miat Mongolian Airlines and had a language problem while talking to the Miat lost and found department. The front desk people at the hotel were extremely helpful and spent about 15 minutes talking to Miat and resolved the problem for us. We had a very early check-in. The computer wanted us to pay for an extra half day's stay however we showed them our on-line reservation form which did not indicate an extra charge so the desk staff waived the extra charge. I would definitely stay there again.

"Good choice"
sbch1, 24 Août 2017

It is definitely one of the better choices in the city. +Friendly staff +Comfortable and clean rooms. Nice views +Great location +ATM on site +Gym +/-Breakfast buffet was ok..nothing exceptional Ate twice at the restaurant on the 23rd floor. Amazing views. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Excellent service but food quality very variable: I ordered the first time the chicken breast and it was very good but the next time they served a re-heated dry piece of chicken...For the price you pay you would expect them no to heat a pre-cooked dish in a microwave...I would recommend the restaurant for drinks but maybe not for the food..

"Good value central hotel "
Anthony H, 14 Août 2017

Stay here most times I go to UB. Tried most other better hotels in UB. this hotel stands next to the main square and walking distance to central tower and Shangri la Centre. Shangri MA hotel is better but much more expensive The rooms are large and airy. Bathrooms too a good size. Service mostly friendly. My complaint ( made last time I reviewed this hotel) is the awful breakfast. Eggs cooked to order swimming in oil. Oil folded into the omelette Fried eggs soaked in oil. Yuk!! In addition there is a lack of fresh fruit. The coffee us mediocre at best In the top floor bar with good views the food is OK. The decor is tired and uninspired but it's comfortable enough. Sometimes there is some live music. So ....stay there but eat breakfast somewhere else!!

"Very good hotel in UB!"
KenderGutz, 12 Août 2017

I was pleasantly surprised with the Best Western Premier. This was my third time in UB, and I had ended up in budget accommodations in my prior visits. Thus, my expectations upon booking at the Best Western was tempered. My initial misgivings were somewhat confirmed when the room I was assigned for my first night directly faced the window of another building. The hotel reception was super helpful and changed my room as soon as another was available. My next room was a corner room with a better view of UB. The room space is more than adequate, amenities were good, clean, quiet and relatively new. Location of the hotel is excellent, near the Chinggis Khan square. As you step out, you have food options. Service is very good and the staff are very accommodating. The penthouse bar is wonderful! Great views of UB, you should definitely check this hotel feature at the Tuushin. Minor gripe, the fitness room is below average, perhaps not a main attraction for guests. I hope the hotel improves the facility - better lighting, equipment, and ventilation. I would certainly go back to the BW Tuushin. Highly recommended.

"For those who care"
dsf246, 09 Août 2017

Reception staff were very helpful as were Reservations who rebooked me past the cancellation date after British Airways cancelled my flight. (Incidentally , BA did absolutely nothing to help). It's a perfectly fine stay. Oh, and their excellent express laundry had my crumpled weeklong packed suit and shirts pressed and back within the hour ( another compensation cost winging its way to BA, I think ). Okay so it's looking a little its age and the swankey place to stay is undoubtedly the new Shang . But it is clean, the bathrooms are perfectly fine and the location is excellent for business travel and exploring the city centre. Not a lot against it really. Perhaps, for a five star hotel, the breakfasts could have been better and with more variety. We must be past the time when synthetic orange juice is still being served up and gluten free options should now be standard.

We group of 27 stayed for 03Nights Great experience Rooms are quite specious & well modern Service staff excellent Breakfast spread was too good location of the hotel is really great really love to stay again

"Comfortable stay"
Terry F, 29 Juillet 2017

Very comfortable stay in a spacious room on the 13th floor with a good view over Chinggis Khaan Square. They let us check in early which was a bonus. Excellent location as it is in close proximity to all the places you need to visit in UB. Not the cheapest place to stay but a decent hotel.

"A modern hotel in a central location"
smokeylinks, 23 Juillet 2017

Rooms were nice. The bed was comfortable. The air-conditioning worked. To run the shower you have to lift the stylish rectangular knob on the faucet. This was not obvious, and a number of our group had to call the front desk for assistance. The location is excellent. While the staff was friendly, they seemed disorganized and confused especially at the front desk.

"Very good for Mongolia, but so-so by global standards"
12trvlgirl, 21 Juillet 2017

The location of this hotel is outstanding - half block from the central square and therefore walking distance to most attractions and to the Naadam Festival stadium. Naadam fireworks were right out the window! The room and bathroom were a good size, comfortable and quiet. Laundry was prompt. Luggage storage for a few hours or several days worked fine. Front desk staff had good English. The dining room and breakfast service were the most obvious downsides. Not enough staff to manage a full hotel and breakfast rush time, so food, coffee, etc., were not replenished. But if you looked away from your plate at your table, it could be whisked away. And the table settings were always soiled - spotted, greasy, food-stained, with crusty bits. Absolutely not acceptable. The other downside was the poor record keeping and communication about reservations. A mix-up about how many days we were staying kept being handled, recorded, and then forgotten. I got the impression that information was not entered into the guest room record. A request for late (3 PM) checkout was happily received and then, again, not recorded, so starting at 11 AM, we were called or visited every 30 minutes or so, and our repeated reminders that we had asked for late checkout and it had been put into the reservation record were to no avail. I'm guessing that's a headquarters problem. There is air conditioning, which is a vast improvement over my first visit in 2005. But it isn't controlled by a thermostat, so it just blows cold until you turn it off for a little relief. And the bathroom initially had the stinky drain problem that was widespread in Mongolia on this visit. However, the hotel maintenance person dealt with it successfully, thank goodness!

"Perfect location & Very nice accommodations"
Kacie01, 21 Juillet 2017

From the room had view of the city square. Got a corner suite; had two twin beds instead of couch for the extra people -- very nice room with comfy beds. Very big bathroom with large tub and a shower, had a small bathroom with toilet in the second room. Room included a complimentary drink at the bar on the top floor (great views of course). Also included breakfast buffet the next morning, which had plenty of options. We also spent a night at the Blue Sky hotel - the two were very comparable in terms of room quality, location, and amenities. The Best Western had a slight edge in the friendliness of the staff (although I think part of the "friendliness" perception by westerners is cultural, not an actual unfriendly demeanor).

"LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION"
R_Reyes, 20 Juillet 2017

This is the best location in all of Ulaanbaatar. Half a block you are in Sukhbaatar Square - the main central square in the city. The hotel is a tall light brown structure. The lobby is big and bright. Check in was easy and staff very polite. You have to skim your room key card to the elevator before you can push the floor to your room and to enter your room. Leave your key by the inside entrance slot to turn on the electricity. Electricity goes off after a while when you pull the key card out.The rooms are big with wall to ceiling window. Flat Panel TV, ample desk for a computer but needs more outlets to plug my computer. The two outlets by the desk are plugged into the modem and the table lamp. I could not plug my laptop anywhere unless I unplug the table lamp. WIFI (SSID and password are written on top of the modem on the desk() is surprisingly fast. A lounge chair with ottoman, and a huge and comfortable king size bed and pillows. Master light switch by the bed when you want to turn off the lights before you sleep. The bedroom is separated by see through glass over the deep bathtub. The bathroom is spacious with good amenities. Coffee pot available and 2 bottles of water is provided daily. The decor of the room is very bright and easy on the eyes. Breakfast is plentiful with an omelet station is located on the third floor. The 25th floor is the lounge where you can have cocktails and have a panoramic view of the city. This hotel is the hotel to stay for me. I will definitely be back here. I highly recommend this to everyone.

"Potential but service confused"
Cate M, 16 Juillet 2017

We stayed here twice in one week. Perhaps we were spoilt the first time as when we arrived we were upgraded to a suite overlooking the square. The room was lovely. Some strange things like a mini bar but no glasses other than 1 (for 2 people) in bathroom and 2 in bedroom. Can't drink the tap water but only 2 small bottles per couple a day. Odd. Breakfast was really very good, certainly better than our experiences of best western hotels. Espresso was available most days (but not all) delivered at extra charge to the breakfast room. Things did not quite hang together. You could never get anyone to answer any of the buttons on the phone. Better to go down to the front desk in person. If we did get someone on the phone they would offer to call back but did not. There are only 2 elevators so they were often very slow. We were told the cafe was closed but then walked into it and ordered coffee. Restaurants were confusing as they had been renamed but signs did not reflect this. An Indian dinner was advertised but when we turned up we were told it was cancelled. When we returned we had deluxe rooms but there was massive confusion about whether we could overlook the square. We had at least 3 different answers and prices.

"Conveniently located with comfortable rooms"
doitwhileyoucan71, 13 Juillet 2017

The hotel is located right next to the Chenngis Khan square which is the heart of the city . The rooms are comfortable with some of them having a view over the square . We were there at the beginning of the Nadaam festival which meant service was a little slow because of the above average occupancy plus extra guests in the restaurants etc . Staff were helpful and friendly . A good option for first time visitors to the city .

"Nice central spot. "
Mark G, 13 Juillet 2017

Stayed here for 4 nights for business. Great location. Comfortable rooms. Breakfast was ok for Mongolia. Staff were lovely and always happy to help. Only complaint was the hot water was a little bit random. The first night I arrived there was only Luke wam water. For the rest of the stay it was much better.

"Lovely space"
Low A, 11 Juillet 2017

I enjoyed staying 2 nights at Best Western Premier. It is in a central location. I loved the high floor unit we were provided which overlooked the square. The room was also spacious. I also liked that there was free wifi in the lobby and free wifi in the rooms. Breakfast was a good spread.

"Very comfortable premier class hotel"
Thomas Y, 08 Juillet 2017

Stayed 4 nights here. I only have praises for this hotel. Room is very modern, very clean and tidy, and amenities are good. Breakfast spread is generous. Staff speaks reasonable English. Hotel is just next to Sukhbaaktar Square. Central location in UB City. It's about 20 mins walk to State Department Store. There's a Orgil supermarket just across the street. The lounge at 25th floor offers splendid view of the city with mountains as background.

"Clean rooms, nonexistent service"
EllenLM, 04 Juillet 2017

The rooms are clean and comfortable, but service is absent. I was put in a room with no air conditioning and told to wait a few hours until it cooled down. It never did, so I had to change rooms (at my request--the hotel never offered). I went to the steak house for dinner, only to see the doors were locked; the front desk receptionist insisted the restaurant should be open and couldn't be persuaded of the reality. I ate one night at the restaurant and ordered a medium rare steak; it was well done. The staff never stopped by my table, even though I was one of only 3 diners in the restaurant. I sent laundry out for dry cleaning and only after calling that evening was told there was no dry cleaning that day and my clothes were being washed. What the?? I'd stay here again because of the location, but would have no expectations about service. Be prepared to take care of yourself--I never saw a concierge or had anyone at the front desk able to do much other than call someone else in the hotel.

"Great hotel at reasonable price"
Ludo-Owen, 02 Juillet 2017

Stayed there 2 during a work trip. The hotel is very central and it's easy to get to ministries on foot. I had a corner room which had amazing view. The top floor bar has even a better one. Staff was friendly and breakfast (included in my rate) was reasonable.

"Nice hotel in City of center "
Stephen V, 29 Juin 2017

I stayed in this hotel for 11 days. The room on 23 floor was big enough and gave a superb view over the city. Breakfast buffet was extensive but not really special. Sometimes items were sold out (fruit, cheese) and I had to ask to complement it. On busy hours it takes sometimes a lot of time to get up or down. Two elevators is not enough during breakfast time or when a big group arrives.

"Excellent choice for Ulaanbaatur "
Whatkatiedid84, 25 Juin 2017

Stayed here for two nights at the end of my trip to Mongolia. Enjoyed the very spacious room and the nice view over Ghengis Khan square. Huge bath. Comfortable beds. I highly recommend the bar/restaurant on the 25th floor. The pizza and Gina me tonic I had were excellent. The waiters were very attentive. Great service. Also the breakfast was very good. The chef making the fresh eggs was really great! She made me the best omelette. X It might be nice if the front desk/concierge were a bit more informed about some of things to see in the area - especially with the theatres close by. Wifi was also a bit patchy. Overall a great stay!

"Great location - top service"
Laura H, 14 Juin 2017

We stayed in this hotel in Ulaanbaatar prior to our Trans-Siberian Train journey. The hotel is located centrally, right across from Suhkbaatar or Chiggis Square. We could walk to all the main sights (granted some were far away but we are avid walkers). Our room was large and while a bit dated, very clean and bright. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant first night. Service was very slow but the food was adequate for a casual meal. We ate in the top floor lounge the second night - their bar and food menu was more to our liking. The pizzas were not too bad, considering that this was Mongolia! The lounge had really nice views of the city of Ulasnbaatar.

"Not your average Best Western"
stevenW891KJ, 12 Juin 2017

Nice property conveniently located in the heart of Ulaanbaatar. Rooms are on the small side but nicely appointed and well kept. Great restaurant/lounge on the top floor but service is a little hit and miss at times. Very nice spa rated a solid B.

"Great choice for UlaanBaatar"
burbuja0512, 29 Mai 2017

We really appreciated the good service at this Best Western. While we didn't stay long, we did stay enough time to notice that all of the staff was very friendly and seemed genuinely happy that we had made the choice to stay with them. The room was a generous size and the mini-bar selection was nice. Normally not a big deal, but we checked in late and it was nice to just grab a drink. (I don't always expect a mini-bar from Best Western) We stayed here for one night and had breakfast the next day and then left the city to go stay in yurts, but if I were to go back to ULN, I would pick Best Western. Nothing fancy, but met all of our expectations and at a reasonable price.

"Great location and nice hotel"
tanderlonis, 24 Mai 2017

The location is perfect as it is right in the downtown area close to all of the city attractions. Easy to get around from the hotel and close to the airport. The hotel was nice, rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful. Depending on your room the wifi is spotty but I may have just had a room in a bad wifi location. The conference rooms were spacious and perfect for business meetings. The breakfast buffet in the morning was delicious with a great variety and the restaurants are good and convenient if you do not feel like leaving the hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

"Great location and even greater staff"
CatherineDV00, 24 Mai 2017

The best Best Western I have ever stayed at in terms of facilities...and one of the best hotels in the world in terms of staff service from the heart. I spend a minimum of 70-80 nights per year in 5 star hotels and the personalised service here far exceeded expectations and their Guest relations manager, Baska was outstanding!

"Good location, good Western-style hotel"
405Sally, 21 Mai 2017

The hotel is within a block of Chingghis Square so vert centrally located. It is a good quality hotel with three restaurants, spa and spacious rooms with all amenities. Wifi is free (but a little slow). The staff are friendly and speak good English. There are restaurants and coffee shops next door and it is 10 minutes walk to a good cashmere shop. The air conditioning did not work very well but leaving the windows open at night cooled the room down.

"Excellent accommodations-excellent location"
Seri B, 10 Mai 2017

This hotel was excellent in all ways. The front desk personnel were very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. The bellhops were very timely - the bags were delivered quickly to our room. The breakfast both on the main floor (3) and the club room floor (23) provided a wide variety of foods and the main floor even had someone who fixed eggs as requested. The room was very nicely furnished - comfortable beds, big fluffy towels. The amenities in the room were great too - the shampoo, etc., as well as the hot water pot with coffee and teas. Overall I would give this a 10+ rating and would definitely return here next time.

"Mongolia"
janenz55, 08 Mai 2017

We stayed here 1 night only. There was traffic chaos as the Vietnamese VP was here too! Room was good, spacious and beds were comfortable. It had an opening window and underfloor heating. Breakfast was very western and just standard fare. There is a fitness centre on the 3rd floor but I didn't have time to get there. Coffee was average. No ATM in the hotel but one just down the street but it didn't work. It is centrally located near the square, parliament and museum. The staff were good, efficient and helpful.

"Good location"
silarem, 05 Mai 2017

Stayed for 4 nights early April and got a room on the 15 floor facing the square. Room had a queen bed and super soft pillows I'm guessing feather ones (?); not the best for neck support. Room had 2 free water bottles per day that you Should definitively use to wash your teeth (water in Ulaanbaatar tends to be stained and I guess not safe to drink). There was a tea pot but tea wasn't provided. There was also a stocked mini bar. Service was good and the best part was the breakfast which had lots of options both westernized and traditional Mongolian along with a person cooking eggs to order. There is also a coffee shop on the first floor. Wifi was available in the room. There are plenty of Places to eat around and we were able to exchange usd into tugriks in the bank that is just next to the hotel. Elevators were a bit slow and small; I guess in high season that may be an issue. We got their car transfer service from the airport at 11am on a weekday. Our driver was there and even though he didn't spoke a word, we were promptly taken to the hotel. But be advised, it costs $50USD one way. It's a bit expensive considering that we took a private car service back to the airport provided by the Shangrila hotel and that one cost 55,000 tugriks which is $23usd! Also be advised that they turn on the AC on May and Ulaanbaatar had unusually hot weather early on April when we were there and with our room facing west we got all the afternoon sun directly meaning temperatures of over 76F or 24C inside the room! The heater was off and still the room was awfully hot. We opened the windows as it cooled down during the night but air conditions those days were so bad that the room started smelling like burned in less than an hour. Im from the tropics so Im not sensitive to warm weather, but trying to sleep with that temperature along with jetlag was not fun. I know that the AC issue is not exclusive of this hotel as it also happened in another hotel that we stayed in Ulaanbaatar but this is just a warning for those sensitive to heat going before May. Finally, the bathtub side was like 2 feet high, about 60 cm so I was always concerned that I could trip and fall anytime I got out of the tub. I have no mobility issues and Im in my thirties but I found this high tubs potentially dangerous. I'm not sure if all rooms are like that though, better check before just in case. Overall the price and service were good and location as well.

"Very good business hotel in UB"
Darryl2014, 03 Mai 2017

Recently, I stayed twice for two days each. The rooms were quite nice, spacious and well-appointed with reasonably good wifi. The only modest negative is that the heating and air conditioning system is not functionally properly so it was hard to cool off rooms that are surprisingly warm considering the cold temperatures outside. Breakfast is not bad, although it would be great if they offered better coffee and more choices of fruit. (I know it can be difficult to get fresh fruit in Mongolia, though.) The location is great, within one block of the Sukhbaatar Square, Parliament, many restaurants, businesses and government offices. The rates are quite reasonable. Lastly, the view from the Prime Lounge on the top floor is fabulous.

"Business Hotel"
PierreSeguin, 10 Avril 2017

The Tuushin is ideally located for the business guest due to its location and well appointed large rooms. The view from the 25th floors offers an incredible understanding of how Ubator is built up. The breakfast is well supplied and the staff is attentive to your needs.

"Improved"
Travel_miner, 09 Avril 2017

Mike the new manager roams around making sure that everything is running well and all his guests are happy. We were because the rooms are well appointed and Mike has upped the hotel's game from my previous visits.

"Centrally located! Very good breakfast!"
TrekkingGuy10, 05 Avril 2017

We stayed at BW Premier Tuushin for 3 nights and we did enjoy our stay. Large and comfortable room, great shower (hot water and no pressure problem), pretty good breakfast (an extensive list of items), courteous staff. The hotel is conveniently located close to Sukhbaatar square (Chinggis Khan square), so we could explore the whole city on foot. There's only one detail to be mentioned...the temperature in the room. Too hot! 28C was too much! The first night we had to open the windows and we even left the door open for a while in order to cool a little bit. 23C or so would be much more comfortable.

"Chill in Ulaanbaatar "
Rob G, 30 Mars 2017

This is a great hotel in a very interesting city. Very cold at times but always beautiful. The hotel has quite spacious rooms, very comfortable with great views of the city. The restaurant is first class and the staff always attentive and cheerful. I stayed for 3 weeks and am looking forward to returning in another few weeks Ulaanbaatar can be very cold but the hotel is well heated, sometimes almost too hot, but you can open a window The hotel is very centrally placed in the city and close to the main square with its impressive statues of the great Chinggis Kahn. Do yourself a favour and chill out out the Tuushin in Ulaanbaatar

"Very confortable Hotel e good price"
Marco B, 12 Mars 2017

The Beste Western hotel is placed in the center of the city, close to the parlamient. The view of the city is fantastic from the rooms both from then 25th floor where is the lounge bar. The room is clean and the housekeeping is perfect. In general the service of the hotel is fantastic for any kind of need. The restaurant on 3rd floor offers different dishes for every taste. The steak maybe is the best dish but sincerly is not the best in UB. The breakfast, served on the same floor, is good. The new coffee shop on the 1st floor is very good and for an italian like me the coffee is all! At the end I can say that this hotel is a good choice for quality and for the money.

"Great Overall"
ChunYat, 29 Novembre 2016

My wife and I spent 4 nights at Tuushin and was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and space of the room. We were very thankful to be given a room on the 22nd floor as the view was amazing. We particularly liked the bar on 25th floor with its great views of the city, and spent some time chilling there each night. The breakfast was pretty good too - but I think could be better if there were variations on different days. Service from staff was prompt and polite. Getting taxis and money changed was fuss-free and efficient. We're v happy with the overall experience given that it's our first visit to UB. Having a great place to come back to each day is a wonderful feeling. Will likely be back again.

"Best Western Hospitality"
Yvon L, 24 Novembre 2016

Excellent location to walk around downtown Ulaan Bator. Heating and air conditioning fluctuates which causes discomforts for sleeping. Stayed for over 6 weeks. Breakfast was very varied with good choices. Gym was acceptable albeit limited in choices of equipment and no real trainer to assist in certain routines. Hotel was very clean and personnel mostly service oriented. All in all a very satisfactory stay.

"Excellent stay in this modern hotel located in the center"
ExplorerNina, 23 Novembre 2016

Excellent hotel located in the center right by the main square. Modern, spacious and comfortable rooms. Very neat. Warm room lightnings that make you feel cozy especially when it gets cold outside. The room has a kettle for tea/coffee making. Reliable and fast Internet. Spacious bathroom, very elegant, bright and clean. The amenities featured razor, toothbrush, brush/comb and nice product. Responsive staff. I called them a couple of times to make requests and they met my demands almost immediately. Breakfast is good considering you are in Mongolia where you cannot expect the same range of food choices than you would find in a 5 stars hotel in Italy or France for instance. At check-in, the guests receive a coupon for a complimentary drink at the lounge on the 25th floor from where you will get a gorgeous panoramic view of the city and great service. Overall, I was very happy to stay in this hotel, the room felt comfortable and cozy and was nice to get back to after a whole day outside. Michael is a very friendly and accessible general manager who will take time to speak with his guests. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again if I go back to UB.

"Great Hotel"
Adlowry99, 15 Novembre 2016

Had a three day business trip that took me to UB, and was fortunate to end up at the Tuushin. Staff was very bilingual, rooms were clean and maintained at a high level, and the breakfast provided at the hotel was excellent and fresh.

"Best hotel in UB"
bagro77, 13 Novembre 2016

Among the very good class hotels in UB, this is clearly the best: all amenities, plus they have environmental policy and use local products (blue sky, kempinski and shangri la couldn t care less), have better air condition than they others and don t use standard sickening roomspray like shangri la, use local art for decoration (best western hangs up pics of Paris or so), and look like an average central building rather than a dagger made in the most environmentally unconscious and energy wasting way possible (like Blue Sky). Pick this one!

"Excellent location and staff"
Gail K, 11 Novembre 2016

I recently stayed at this hotel and was very impressed with the overall standard and staff. Not too many people speak English in Mongolia, and I was pleased that most of the staff spoke it very well. The rooms were excellent, with terrific views. The General Manager Michael, went out of his way to make our stay extra special and was genuinely interested in talking with us. Particular shout out to Chuka (?), the Manager of the 25th floor bar. He was VERY professional and accommodating. The food options were good for breakfast too. The location is as good as it gets, right in the middle of everything for walking distance. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thankyou all for a very enjoyable experience.

"Fantastic stay in Ulaanbaatar"
lpjones666, 10 Novembre 2016

We recently spent 6 nights at this excellent 4 star hotel and were highly impressed with the hospitality shown to us by all the staff and in particulary by the General Manager Michael. We had a fabulous room on the 18th floor with exceptional views overlooking the city. The room was very clean and the bathroom spacious and with good toiletries. The breakfast was plentiful and with a wide range of foods. The 25th floor bar had a great atmosphere with a warm friendly environment and the Manager was extremely professional, helpful and curteous. We thorougly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again when we return to Ulaanbaatar. Thank you to Michael and all the team for making our stay such a great experience.

"Centrally located 4-star hotel for business and tourism"
Riesst, 06 Novembre 2016

Best Western Premier Tuushin Hotel in Ulaanbaatar has 200 rooms. They are in conformity to international business standard. The executive room on the 14th floor was spacious, had a King size bed, a recliner, and desk. In addition, was provided a reliable and fast, free Internet connection and a kettle for tea/coffee making. The bath room is bright and clean. At check-in, the guests receive a coupon for a coupon for a drink that can be redeemed at the bar on the 25th floor from where is an impressive view of the city. The breakfast buffet offers a good choice. I was not eating in the hotel restaurant during my stay. The Steakhouse was closed. Next to the hotel there is a restaurant specialized on traditional dishes, but the quality was not much convincing. I was pleasantly surprised by the «Bistrot Français» which is reachable in 10 minutes' walk. The specialty a fillet steak of 350 grams was cooked to perfection. The green pepper sauce was tasty and can rival many good restaurants in France. The owner explained that he acquired some of his cooking skills in Geneva / Switzerland. The food was truly excellent. The hotel has a small exercise room. The BW Premier Tuushin hotel is a good choice. The hotel offers airport transfer which is handy in a city where no official taxis operate

"Fabulous return visit"
Anndi100, 02 Novembre 2016

Having stayed here many times it was wonderful to be welcomed back by the ever engaging, courteous and thoughtful staff. The light and spacious room, as always, was beautifully clean and comfortable with full views over the central square. The dining on the 25th floor was excellent with well-received live evening entertainment on some days and brilliant panoramic views over the city. The buffet breakfast with wide choice and freshly prepared egg dishes is now better located on the third floor leaving the ground floor restaurant for lunch and later eating. Reservation, reception, housekeeping and dining staff are superb and go the extra mile to make my stays here the most enjoyable of any hotel in which I visit on business and now the new taxi service is a real added bonus. The general manager and his staff teams could not be more welcoming and attentive and make my return visits something to look forward to. Many, many thanks to all.

"Nice Hotel - Bare Minimum Service"
Rich J, 01 Novembre 2016

A comfortable stay in regards to room quality and location. And, the top floor lounge had great food and a well-trained staff. But, the typical hotel services were a bit questionable. Having to call Housekeeping 1/2 the time because they missed my room, chasing laundry until 8:00PM, a Front Desk that was a bit "un-interested". And, what I assume was the Hotel Manager - Michael, never taking the time to introduce himself, even in the elevator and at breakfast. Just made settling in to this hotel a bit harder than most. And, to get a cup of coffee at breakfast seemed to follow Mongolia's "No Alcohol Days" around the Elections. Maybe there were "No Coffee Days", too... The Manager in the top floor lounge "get's it". All the rest, a very typical Mongolian service experience.

"A good town centre hotel"
steveblower, 30 Octobre 2016

We stayed here twice, on the start and end of our Mongolia trip. Both stays were extremely comfortable with a lovely room, very comfortable bed, lush bathroom supplies, fluffy towels, and great wifi. And trust me, after a few days in the Ger camps, these things will be so nice to come back to! All the staff we encountered were friendly, professional and helpful. Both stays we had a very early start, so did not get to try the breakfast that was included in our room rate. The hotel did provide us take away breakfast boxes, which were possibly the only disappointment in that they were sparse and not tasty. Notwithstanding that, we would certainly choose to stay here again. The location is great, just a few steps away from the main square. Go and watch the sunset there! There is a great view from the bar at the top of the building, too.

"Wonderful trip"
krochonophy, 28 Octobre 2016

I was in a official trip. The hotel facilities and services were very good. Most amazingly, staffs were very supporting, cordial and helpful. Ms. Baska was highly proactive and concerned about the customer satisfaction. She helped me to find best tourist destination as well as vehicle services in no time. Thank you Baska.

"Great location"
BobTravelSFO, 23 Octobre 2016

Great location, close to the major points of interest downtown. The staff is helpful and there's always someone there who speaks enough English to help with your needs. They can arrange cars to get you where you need to go, the cars are nice though not the least expensive available. The rooms are comfortable, clean, well-appointed and contemporary. The bathrooms are nicely done in a contempory style. There's air conditioning with a thermostat though heating is controlled separately with a knob on a radiator. So, the room was not quite as warm as I would have liked. The room was quiet.

"First Class Accommodations"
santafecarol, 22 Octobre 2016

This was a wonderful hotel. The reception desk staff, Cindy, were very attentive. My room was gorgeous with windows on two sides and overlooked the square. Each night I was treated with a view of the moon over Ulaanbataar. The bathroom was spacious with a huge tub that allowed me to stretch out and enjoy a wonderful soak. The amenities featured razor, toothbrush, brush/comb and nice product. The best of all was the Manager Michael who was visible and engaged to make sure guests were having a good experience. He was the consummate hotelier. I had two massages which were done by a woman trained in Chinese medicine which added cupping and hot stones. The breakfast buffet was really good and having an omelet made to order lovely. My room had its own router so I had computer security unlike anywhere else I have stayed. This was great as I needed to check a bank account and could do so without worry. I had access to a special lounge on 25th floor where the views were awesome. Look no further, stay here. Oh yes, the coffee shop on the first floor served totally delicious cappuccino!

"Centrally located, Very Clean Rooms"
SBach77, 17 Octobre 2016

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend after trekking through the Gobi desert. The luxuries of the hotel were much appreciated! We enjoyed the 25th floor restaurant for dinner one night (FANTASTIC views of the city!!) and we enjoyed the free breakfast (great food options). The hotel is centrally located which makes it easy to get to various sites. Things that could've been better: - The hairdryer in the room was useless (either bring your own or plan for air-dry) - The towels in the bathroom were old and fraying (a minor detail but did take away from the overall impression) - Poor communication - We asked to book a car to the airport and were told it would cost $50 USD... In the morning, we found out the hotel offers a free shuttle to the airport for no extra cost.

"Fantastic"
Beth H, 16 Octobre 2016

What a fabulous hotel! Lovely room, nice restaurants, great bar on the 25th floor. Great touches like the locally-made bath bomb and slippers. The staff, including and especially GM Mr. Booker, bent over backwards to make my stay perfect -- arranging transportation, offering advice, and actually escorting us to a market. Excellent location -- within walking distance of the main square, restaurants, and shopping. I cannot say enough about the Tuushin -- except that I look forward to coming back.

"Nice stay"
HoratiuB, 12 Octobre 2016

Lovely place, good amenities Close to the centre and main attractions around the centre ... great views ... good choice of food at breakfast (diversity needs a bit improving ... overall great experience ... will return

"Top end in Mongolia"
eysturland, 03 Octobre 2016

This IS the best hotel there is in the whole country. The rooms were modern and neat, the staff helpful and friendly and the view from our room was spectacular. Fast wifi! Great location. Highly recommended!

"A few hick up but they help to sort them out fast :)"
Thomas J, 27 Septembre 2016

Allover a great location, easy to walk to everything and lovely rooms with a great few. The rooftop bar is a excellent start to see the whole town as a overview before you start to discover it. If you go to Mongolia it is almost a must to sty here :)

"Great location and amazing views from top floor lounge"
mandalaytogeneve, 21 Septembre 2016

Clean, well appointed hotel. Here on business, so internet is important -- and the WiFi is good, reliable. Views from the top floor lounge/bar are amazing and a nice place to get some work done while enjoying something to drink... although I wish they would allow non-alcoholic drinks (besides hot tea) as a substitute for the welcome drink (beer, wine or hot tea only - not even a soda or juice was offered!). The only other complaint I might have is that my spa experience was not as good as most other Asian hotels... and then when I tried to use my 15% off coupon (received at check in), the lady said "oh, I already rang up your bill" and wouldn't change it. I had to call the front desk to fix the charge. I also would not suggest the airport pick up (overpriced) - just get a cab on arrival. Otherwise a solid hotel for business travelers.

"Great lodging and good value"
SeaBrat, 12 Septembre 2016

We met Michael the manager on the way in. He introduced us to some other Americans in the lounge. He was very attentive the whole time. Much more then you would expect from the manager! The room was over the top. The breakfast that comes with a deluxe room was very good. The concierge level was not worth the extra cost unless you want privacy (better breakfast down stairs).

"Central location, Great stay"
Greg O, 12 Septembre 2016

very nice hotel, loved the top floor bar which is a nice place to finish the night, had some great singers preforming most nights. room was comfortable, wifi reliable, breakfast was fine however after a week i needed a change.

"Great stay, excellent service!"
wanderlusting_CDN, 09 Septembre 2016

This is my second time staying at the Best Western Tuushin, and I have been very happy both times. This time in particular, I found the staff (housekeepers, receptionists, Manager, waiters) to be so friendly and accommodating I felt compelled to write a review. Zulaa and Zoloo at the front desk were especially helpful and made my stay even better.

"Horses Everywhere"
justshelling, 08 Septembre 2016

The most memorable thing about this hotel for me was the beautiful two story mural in the lobby. Imagine broad undulating swaths of color, like wind, and the color is repeated stamps of tiny running horses. Then there's the gift shop and art gallery. Lots of horse art work. Horses are part and parcel of the Mongolian experience. The second most memorable thing was the view over the square from my corner room. Great! The room was comfortable and clean. Wifi was easily accessible. The water coming out of the tub was brown, probably from lack of use, but the shower and sink were fine. All the staff that I interacted with were friendly, professional, courteous and responsive. The breakfast food was adequate and what one might expect. There could be a crush at times in the dining room, making it difficult, but not impossible, to find a place to sit. I would return to this hotel should I ever revisit Mongolia.

"Good hotel but bad service "
Thomas J, 07 Septembre 2016

I stayed here for 3 nights and it needed 2 days and 3 enquiries to get 2 wine glasses in the room. They offer a minibar but no glasses lol. The breakfast is good but you need to clean your seat and table first and ask for cutlery. We tried to use the spa and have a massage as they offer it a bit overpriced but they were unable to suit 2 people at once as they only have one masseuse. In town you get it for half the price. You expect all 5star when you book it for those prices but noooo.

"Not bad. After all it's Mongolia!"
deepchi, 05 Septembre 2016

Good location. Comfortable beds. Good free WiFi. Adequate AC. Average breakfasts. The biggest problem was the sewage smell in our room. We didn't do anything about it because it went away with the AC on and we were only there for two nights. What can you really expect from Best Western? And then there was the tiny soaps. Hysterical!

"A Good Base for Touring"
rmhMelbourne, 01 Septembre 2016

Well-located close to the main Square and all city tourist sites. Comfortable rooms, but the aircon needs to be managed, good meals and facilities. Staff very helpful. Only two lifts which made moves a bit slow at times Charged for airport shuttle which wasn't really appropriate.

"Perfect to recover from long Tour"
Ben_Bailly, 31 Août 2016

We stayed 2 nights there, one before a Tour in the countryside, one after. It was a good idea as it offers the classical Occident confort you need after a long Tour. Location is good just next to the central place. The only thing I could tell that was bad is that some small amount of money were stolen in our luggage when we left one of them during the time we were trekking.

"I love UB"
BorkaMoscou, 22 Août 2016

This is my 5th visit to UB - I try different hotels each time! This one was quite a good pick, perfectly located, comfy rooms with all necessary amenities. I spent 3 nights it was really perfect for me. I could rest and work. I used the spa services. Breakfast buffet is all you need for a good start of the day. Only minus was the room service..maybe due to local products but the club sandwich I ordered was not good at all, at least joy to my taste. I will stay there again for sure.

"Excellent hotel, awkward staff"
Bojan T, 18 Août 2016

The hotel is very expensive for Ulaanbaatar but for a good reason. It's an excellent hotel that guarantees you hot water, clean water (sometimes the water gets muddy in Ulaanbaatar, but this hotel has its own filters in place), uninterrupted power (thaley have generators), impeccable rooms etc. So it's one of rare places that offers European standards, and with that taken into account the price is fair. The location is also as good as it gets - right at the main square. I'd easily give it an excellent review if the staff wasn't so incredibly awkward. And I am not the one to say that easily, as I'm very tolerant to people's idiosyncrasies. But when asking for about trip time to the airport gets a reaction as if you asked something bizarre, you can help but feel weirded out.

"Great Location"
Nathan B, 13 Août 2016

This hotel is in a great location in the city. Was able to easily walk to a large number of attractions. Close to MANY restaurants. The building is tall enough you can always use as a land mark to get your barring if you get turned around. Service was good, elevators quite slow. Breakfast selection is quite small, nice place, I would certainly recommend and stay there again.

"Guest Services"
jupiter2929, 01 Août 2016

I received excellent guest service from the guest relation officer-Baaka. She went out of her way to coordinate with Air China in locating my baggage. Very professional and an asset to the organization. Thank you.

"An excellent hotel in an excellent location."
Berichthier214, 31 Juillet 2016

I had room 2001 with access to the executive lounge. The room is spacious, has a sitting area, a good bed, excellent WiFi and a very spacious bathroom with a great shower. Housekeeping is very good. But the view is amazing from this room. Ulaanbaatar main square at your feet. Executive lounge is a nice bonus. Breakfast is free, afternoon tea as well and before dinner they have a happy hour with assorted snacks and nuts. Everything is served with a smile. Quality is very good. They even have special attention to a vegetarian diet. The restaurant on the 25th floor is very quiet during the day and has even better views upon the city and the surrounding hills/mountains. They also arranged my airport transportation at a very reasonable price. Communication with this hotel is easy and swift. An excellent hotel with great service from everyone. I liked it a lot.

"Great Place for the Price!!"
JPDallas, 30 Juillet 2016

Great property, spacious rooms and very clean with all amenities that international travelers expect, terrific location (one block off the Square), and wonderful folks. And do not miss the 25th floor bar that has terrific food with your free beer voucher; where my Nicoise Salad was made of fresh tuna. Yes, free wifi. You appreciate everything a lot more after staying in gers in the country.

"Best place to stay in Ulanbaatar"
Baska C, 29 Juillet 2016

The hotel is right middle of city, next to Parliament building and staff are really good - they really look after guests. In my case, Baaska was in particular helpful in tracking down my baggage from air china - overall very friendly staff - nice stay!

"perfectly situated"
37Bluesparkle, 25 Juillet 2016

could not ask for more - beautiful bedroom- very attentive staff -great breakfast - lovely 25th floor bar- good spa facilities (excellent masseuse) and Michael Booker - the General Manager - could not do enough - thank you to you and all your staff and for my surprise birthday cake - hope to be back

"One of the best places in UB but.."
HuntCon, 25 Juillet 2016

there are better places for a similar price. I stayed here for several days around the ASEM meetings and some of the things that I took away from my stay was the funny smelling and discolored water and the water pressure which would rhythmically change pressure from low to high. Other than that, there are only two restaurants. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the laundry service was extremely fast and professional. Overall the only reason I am voting 4 instead of 5 is because the Blue Sky offers better amenities for nearly the same price. The location is right downtown on the square so the location cannot be beaten.

"We had a very nice 3 nights stay"
eurasiatravels, 24 Juillet 2016

Centrally located, walking distance to Sukhbaatar Square, with great breakfast, and bar on top. Rooms are spacious, very comfortable. Staff is kind, welcoming. Overall it has been a nice stopover before and after long journeys in vast and heavenly beautiful Mongolia countryside.

"Luxury in the City"
SBoydy, 22 Juillet 2016

Great hotel. Central Location. Clean and comfortable. Club rooms offer freebies like delicious afternoon tea in the club lounge. Happy Hour drinks on the 25th floor with fantastic city views. Staff are friendly and helpful.

"Excellent hotel, great location"
David D, 21 Juillet 2016

If you want a fine, no problem stay in Ulaanbaatar, you can't go wrong with Best Western Premier Tuushin Hotel. Excellent breakfast spread, spacious rooms and great wifi. The location is also ideal - very near Chinggis Khan Square. Stayed here July 6-10.

"Very good choice"
Sunstar1019, 20 Juillet 2016

This hotel is centrally located. The staff is friendly, helpful, very competent. I had a beautiful corner standard room on the 9th floor with a good view. I did not expect anything special for breakfast, but loved it. Hot and cold breakfast, fresh fruit, great coffee when you ask for it ( instead of the standard filter coffee that is usually served ). What a pleasant surprise. The gym is basic, but quite spacious, you can have a good work out. Every room in the hotel seems to have its own internet rooter - speed and quality of the internet connection is therefore excellent. Baaska, the concierge, helps you plan excursions and finfpds cars and drivers for your custom made trips. Go up to the bar on the 25th floor and enjoy the panoramic view, it is worth it! Prices were very high when we were in town, but I understand that they were due to a big international conference and that usually they are quite reasonable. Should I go back to UB, I would choose the Tuushin again.

"Good location , good accommodation, good food and customer service"
Steve H, 16 Juillet 2016

Stayed in the Best Western Tuushin Hotel on a business trip 18 - 22 June. Very good service from all staff, especially at breakfast and in the Executive lounge bar which has great views over the city. The hotel is centrally located close to the main square and easy to find. Rooms are very comfortable and the restaurants are very good with themed evenings. The steaks were very good. Manager Mike Booker was a great host and ensured I had everything I needed. Will stay again and obviously I recommend it.

"Pleasure to stay here"
MomDives, 11 Juillet 2016

From first moment, the hotel has been a five star experience. Reception had a message for me, although I had not checked I yet and made certain that I was able to respond. Offered amenities although I was too early for registration (and had deferred early checkin). Room is large, amenities over the top. Staff is over the top in wanting to please. Breakfast is fine, attentive and attending, lots of food choices and no rush.

"Clean Spacious Rooms"
kayladeeda, 03 Juillet 2016

Stay in comfort and luxury at the Best Western Tuushin Hotel. Full amenities were provided and the room and bathroom were very clean. The only thing i think can be improved on is the breakfast spread.

"Best hotel in Ulanbaatar "
Zia N, 08 Juin 2016

Strategically located in the heart of the city right next to the Chinggis Khan square, location is the best in Ulanbaatar. Shopping malls , supermarket , Kfc are all in close vicinity. Rooms are top notch and the service excellent. Would recommend this hotel to everyone and would definitely visit again if required.

"An excellent experience"
Mati K, 06 Juin 2016

Very good central location. The staff we dealt with were always eager to help. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was superb with lots to choose from. An excellent value and we would stay there again.

"Comfortable Stay, Convenient Location"
iliketotravel85, 04 Juin 2016

My husband and I stayed at the Best Western Premiere for two nights in May. We were there on business. The hotel is very comfortable, providing all the conveniences required. Comfortable room size, over sized beds, plenty of amenities and high-speed, reliable Internet connection. The breakfast served in the morning is also a delight - widespread variety and very tasty. Just wish they had some vegetarian delights! Room service was also very good, despite a limited menu. The only issue we had was that the bathroom door didn't close properly, and when it did, it wouldn't open. The phones in the bathrooms have no quick dial numbers, so I had to end-up calling the hotel's main desk, to get them to open the bathroom door from the outside. But all in all, a comfortable stay and highly recommended!

"EXCELENT HOTEL, NO COMPLAIN WHATSOEVER!!"

The hotel room was booked by our travel agent selena tour, although it was our choice, as we had stay in a best Western hotel in Brisbane before, but this Premier Tuushin is exceptional, great staff, good surrounding, excellent B/F spread, good restaurant menu, my wife and I have a great time, although we were given a high floor room we opted for a lower floor good enough to have a mountain view, ,we will be back very soon!! Great view of the mountain, and as it was snowing when we were there, the mountain was snow capped.

"Excellent location; supurb service; quality rooms"
I9661BMrobertr, 27 Mai 2016

The staff are very friendly, and ready to help you with anything promptly. The manager, Michael, is a joy to talk to, and is very warm and welcoming to all the guests. The breakfast was excellent, and very delicious. We ate there for lunch and dinner as well, and very reliable and tasty. Good location, 1 minute from the main square, and everything else. Clean rooms and facility. Go to the 25th floor lounge for great views of the city and mountains. So, the AC does not come on until June. They provided a fan and were very helpful. In May, the weather fluctuates a lot, so that is the flare of travel. It was 75F, then snowed the next day, and all talk of AC was forgotten. I will definitely go back with others. Best hotel in UB!

"Good location"
inaite, 21 Mai 2016

This hotel is very centrally located, very near Chingis Khan square. It has a nice sky lounge with decent food there. Rooms are ok, the general manage is a nice guy who often himself greets guests. Apparently he likes his job. Breakfast buffet is quite nice as well. The only problem I noted - if the hotel is full or has important guests, one needs to wait for an elevator for quite long. Recommended for a stay in Ulanbaatar.

"Great except for ac"
Warren L, 10 Mai 2016

Hotel is central, just off Chengghis Kahn square in the centre of town. I was upgraded and my room had a great view of the square. Hotel staff was friendly both at reception and in breakfast room. Breakfast food was great in terms of both selection and quality. Only negative was room was warm and air conditioning wasn't functioning.

"Recommend in a heartbeat"
VancouverOutside, 05 Mai 2016

I stayed here for a number of nights over the course of a month in a few different rooms. Admittedly some rooms are better/larger than others (depending on the price), but overall I thought the rooms were great: clean, modern finishings, new, comfy beds, wifi always worked, hot water, and very quiet. The hotel lobby is gorgeous. The breakfast buffet was decent (not the best, but FAR from the worst), even for a vegetarian. The hostesses at the front of the restaurant were always very warm and welcoming to me each morning. The hotel itself is very central - I walked everywhere and it always seemed to take me no time at all to get where I was going. My only knock (and it wasn't even that big of a deal) is that I had sent the hotel an email to request/arrange transfer from the airport but I did not get a reply - again, no big deal, I figured out an alternative. I would stay here again and I would recommend it to anyone.

"Sky view lounge "
Travel_miner, 24 Avril 2016

The hotel has fantastic city views and the 25th floor bar is a great place to relax and watch the sunset. The rooms are standard for an international hotel. The food is good. Don't rely on the transfer service, I had to find my own way from the airport despite booking a transfer and they didn't have one for me on the way back either despite a booking and when I jumped in with a colleague who was already going to the airport they wanted to charge me!

"Great value for money central hotel"
Anthony H, 07 Avril 2016

This hotel is right in the heart of the city very close to the main square and Central Tower shopping and most major office buildings. Short walk to the better restaurants in the City. It modern clean comfortable with decent size rooms and bathrooms. Bar on the TOP floor is quite nice. The gym is minute with very little equipment but I got a good massage in a very spa. The food is at best medium quality and the breakfast adequate but not great. If you have an omelette be prepared for it to be cooked in loads of oil with oil folded in!! Room service wasn't bad. Overall I like this hotel for cleanliness value for money and location.

"Friendly Professinal Service Combined with Great Location"
HarringtonKim, 28 Mars 2016

This hotel is located right near the Square, an ideal location for business people. The rooms are spacious, including a desk and office chair for business people to work at. Very comfortable bed and sitting chair, large bathroom. All staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The catering for our CQUniversity Alumni Event was fabulous, and the view from the 25th Floor overlooking the city is amazing. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel to business people.

"The best hotel and the best value from Tuushin Hotel in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia!"
IvyChung, 28 Mars 2016

This is one of the hotel I will recommend if you travel to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia! I will always only stay in this hotel when I travel to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The hotel in the best location and the staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is very nice. I always have my work function there as well. I don't think you can match in any hotel from the surrounding area. I will highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

"Great city view"
shishirudaipur, 28 Mars 2016

It was a biz trip about 7 days, the room and amenities were good. Sufficiently large layout for breakfast .... room had a great city view, being a hotel in downtown it was near most places of interest.

"If traveling for business this is the right place to stay"
Paul v, 23 Mars 2016

I stayed in the Premier Tuushin for two weeks. Nice views of the city and surrounding ger districts. The rooms are modern and well equipped for work with good internet connection. Due to the dry air in the building (late winter) I asked for a humidifier, which was immediately delivered and was available during my whole stay. Two out of the three restaurants were working in low season. Good food but menus rather similar. Good business center support available. Well trained friendly staff.

"Good location, nice lounge, but a few struggles"
LA4man, 20 Mars 2016

First of all, it's UB. With that in mind, it's a decent place to stay. The guest rooms are large, the breakfast is okay - even vegetarians could find things to eat, the lounge on the top is nice, and they certainly give a good effort. Most of all, you're close to many things: the main square, restaurants, etc. (Note: Rooms with a view of the square cost more.) That being said, there are a few things to watch out for: (1) I'm still recovering from bug bites. (2) In the wintertime, some of the rooms won't cool down. Mine was fine, but my colleague sweltered. You don't want to open the window because of the pollution, so it's a conundrum. (3) The bath/shower is deep, but it's also really hard to step in/out of, especially with no handrail. If you are short or have mobility issues, this could be a problem (but compared to other hotels, it was a really nice bathtub!) (4) If you're hosting an event, note there are no bathrooms on the main conference floor and only one door in/out of the ballroom area. (5) The entrance is treacherous when there's ice or snow. It's a very steep driveway and the optional steps end up pretty much on the street. (6) Locals say there is very little parking nearby, so if you're asking friends to visit, keep this in mind. If I hadn't been bitten during my stay, I would have given a higher rating. That being said, given the options in UB I'd likely stay here again if I could ensure the bed was bug-free.

"Good Place. Great Location"
Dinesh_Lawrence, 23 Janvier 2016

Probably the best place to stay in UB. Near the famous Sukhbataar Square. The place is lively with people indulging in sporting and musical activities. The hotel is also close to the Mongolian Parliament and many other places of Interest like the museum. KFC, The famous “state emporium” and various shopping areas, restaurants including Indian ones are walkable. The hotel is great, well maintained, and relatively new and customer service is also good though language may be an issue. The rooms are well maintained and the WiFi is strong. The hotel has a sky view lounge in the 25 th floor with great views. Breakfast was included in the package and the variety was great. Only problem was the menu is repetitive with hardly any changes in the menu. So if you stay for a long time it may turn out to be boring. There is also a dept store close by for your daily needs. Recommended for a great stay. Choose the higher floors to get uninterrupted view of the small and compact city Ulaan Battar.

"Better than expected."
Shane J, 22 Janvier 2016

The hotel has very modern rooms with very nice views. Also, the Internet worked great throughout the visit. If there was an concerns, I would say the restaurant service during the dinner hour is slow but the food was fine when it got to you. I did use the gym and I would suggest adding another bench but otherwise, it has some cardio equipment and some free weights.

"Impressive building, nice rooms, but average service"
BorisDivjak, 27 Novembre 2015

This is one of the tallest hotels I stayed in and the views from the upper room floors are quite impressive (though the city isn't exactly the most gorgeous place). It is locates centrally and you can walk to almost all the attractions, even in extreme cold weather. The rooms are truly spacious, I had a king sized bed. Bathroom was particularly nice and clean. Absolutely no problems with any of the logistics. However, the first day I decided to book a massage and despite having confirmed the full body massage, incl. with the masseur, it ended up somehow being legs massage only. Because she spoke no English I decided to let go and left it at that. A different problem occurred at check out, when the receptionist claimed the housekeeper saw more cans of soda missing than I drank (I had two and they claimed four), a conversation I've never experienced before. This struggle took place as my group airport transport was waiting and I had no time to argue. I had to leave angry, which was the unfortunate ending to an otherwise pleasant stay. Breakfast was solid, a good choice and omelettes prepared on the spot by the chef. As we had a conference there, the facilities were fine, but nothing exceptional. Coffee breaks had basic cookies and Nescafe. Wifi was included in the room price, but the connection average to slow. It was running faster in the conference area and the lobby. To sum up, this is by no means the best Best Western experience you will have and very definitely not the worst - in fact worth your staying in Ulaanbaatar, as long as you don't mind the staff being a bit slow.

"Clean, good location but service is mixed"
seth009, 16 Novembre 2015

I booked. This hotel due to it's great location by Chinggis (Ghengis) Khan Square in center of downtown. It's modern clean and efficient. The rooms are well laid out and the Premier lounge bar on the 25th floor has good views of the city at night. Some previous reviews noted that the breakfast wasn't awesome. I would say that for Mongolia, the buffet spread was quite good. You need to remember how remote this city/country is. So, as far as UB and Mongolia goes, I'd say it's very good. Service was mixed. It seemed like only a couple of the staff in the breakfast area really knew anything about service. As I recall there was only one guy, out of several staff, that would go around check if you'd like more coffee or needed anything. It's what I've grown to expect at four and five star establishments. Further, many of the staff at the restaurant on the 1st floor, 25th floor lounge bar and even the front desk didn't seem to have a good grasp on English. After having paid my bill at the 25tj floor bar, I asked several staff by the bar "do you have any recommendations for good restaurants or bars?" To which "no" was the reply. I was surprised by the answer and asked "really, nothing?!" To which they said something to the effect of not understanding the question. I attempted again, a bit slower and using other words but it was clear they weren't getting it. I turned to Tripadvisor instead. Hmm, would I stay again? If paying out of pocket, I probably would because I feel it represents a good value. However, if my company were paying I'd be inclined to try Blue Sky or the new Shangri-la.

"Comfortable and pleasant"
141lia, 13 Novembre 2015

The room was large and very comfortable. Good internet, work desk and chair! The restaurant in the 1st floor has a good selection and staff is friendly. I highly recommned the masseur, she is excellent. There is another restaurant and a bar (on the 25th floor), but I did not visit. The room service food is good, but selection is limited. I stayed in this hotel for 10 nights in a business trip.

"comfy and pleasant"
Dan R, 27 Octobre 2015

The hotel is right in the center of the city and is quite comfortable with spacious rooms and good quality finishing, definitely pleasant to the eyes of a weary traveller. The check in process is quite smooth, staff are friendly and kind even though few speak English. I sampled all the restaurants in the hotel and the steak restaurant came top, they really deliver on expectations, unfortunately the same is not true for their breakfast menu which is ‘nothing to wake up to'. The rooms on the higher floors have a great view of the city and have been tastefully designed. I was pleased with the cleanliness although housekeeping could pay more attention to their turn down service. Unfortunately, the health club is a let-down, equipment and free weights are few and is really not up to the best western standards. This said, it remains my hotel of choice in Ulaanbaatar.

"Central. Comfortable. Reasonable."
Vlad K, 24 Octobre 2015

Stayed here just for 1 night and really enjoyed all comfort this hotel provides except breakfast. All is by BW standards - bed, furniture, cleanness. I gave up fishting with turning TV on and used only the wifi sygnal for news. a little bit strange bathroom tap, it took me a couple of minutes to understand how to switch it to the shower. All the rest was great. the location is just increadible - less than a minute to the central square. Wish I could have more time there, still have some coupons ofr free drinks at the 25 floor lounge...

"Autumn winter visit"
RonaldG1968, 22 Octobre 2015

Excellent location and very modern interior as a new hotel in Ulaanbaatar. Overlook Chinggis Kahn Square and the city so I really enjoyed the view. A nice breakfast and decent spa facilities. Check out the view in the bar on 25th floor.

"3 nights at the Premier Tuushin"
Andre J, 11 Octobre 2015

This is a great value for money hotel. Modern, comfortable and ideally placed just off the Genghis Khan square and central to the main shopping CBD. The facility is stylish and clean with restaurants on a couple of floors, there is a lovely lounge to take afternoon sun downers on the 25th floor that gives a great view of the growing city below. The rooms are well appointed with very comfy beds and crisp white linen. tea and coffee station plus all toiletries, mini bar, slippers, robes etc are provided and the Wi-Fi is superb and complimentary. The breakfast spread is really good and the staff friendly and very eager to please. Check in and check out was smooth with little time consumed. There is also a free wine / drinks voucher on arrival to be had in the top lounge. Overall a very good choice.

"perfect location, comfy room, so glad to be here"
Martine K, 10 Octobre 2015

We were here on and off for two weeks during our vacation... Great location, next to Chinggis Kahn Square, still quiet, with a fed ex around the back, for sending home souvenirs... great water pressure, everything provided--hairdriers, toothpaste, etc. Laundry service, and a top-floor lounge with the best views of UB. Comfortable beds, fluffy robes and towels, sumptuous room appointments, great service all around.

"Very good choice "
Ana Z, 19 Septembre 2015

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The room was very comfortable and the bed was a dream. I would like to still be sleeping there! The location of the hotel was very good, just one block from the Republic square. There are many good restaurants in the neighborhood and shopping centers ,what is very nice because it's impossible to go by car to any place as the traffic is chaotic all day long.We didn't try the hotel restaurant, we only had breakfast there and it was very good. The only problem was the lift. Only 2 for all the guests, sometimes we had to wait too long for it. I really recommend this hotel.

"Nice Hotel, central located, with an outstanding breakfast."
grichtingd, 07 Septembre 2015

I have been there for 4 nights in September. I loved the fact that the hotel is very central located. The wifi worked properly and the internet is fast enough to work. The room is clean and very spacious. The view over the city is nice to amazing depending on the floor. There is a very nice bar on the top and the hotel offers a welcome drink there. The breakfast is very good. There is a large choice of items and a cook prepares your eggs "live". The service was also excellent. Phonic isolation could be improved.

"Excellent view and service"
lakecomo28, 01 Septembre 2015

Was here recently for a conference and was pleasantly surprised by how nice and well-located this hotel is. I was in a room which faced the Genghis Khan square and the view at dusk was very nice. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast did not have as much variety as other 'better' hotels but it was sufficient.

"very good hotel"
popamiw, 30 Août 2015

I stayed in this hotel for one night due to a delayed flight (with Turkish airlines). The hotel is very nice and my room was absolutely great Wifi was excellent. Position is super central. Breakfast could be a little bit more abundant

"Great location but a few important things to be fixed"
Philippe G, 28 Août 2015

The hotel is very well located and our room was overlooking the Chinggis Khaan square. The check-in was prompt. The room is ok and overall clean at the exception of the outside windows which are covered by dust. The breakfast is sub standard and you'll be asked a bit too often if you have finished when you are approaching 10:30. The big annoyance was a crazy rattle when the aircon was kicking on and off. And that lasted all the night! The premier word is definitely not matching the wuality standards of this place
