Best Western Plus Tupelo Inn & Suites

I live traveling this hotel was definitely the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in the management was horrible I rented 12 rooms n only 2 of them had heat we stayed for two weeks there was no hot water no wyfy definitely would not recommend don't even know how they stay open

2nd time staying. Arrived after 16 hrs en route to Gulf Shores. All we needed was comfortable beds & a hot shower. We got bumped into a room where my older teens had to sleep on a dirty pull out and we had no hot water for our showers. Incredibly disappointing. Notified front desk & no compensation or attempt to amend.

the receptionist that checked me in with the braids was very nice and very informative. I had an issue with my key deactivating and she was very quick to help get those keys restored for me. I did have an incident later on in my stay where my room was extremely hot and the shower on the first night was barely lukewarm. I did go down to the front desk to advise that my room felt like a sauna, and I was told that there had been many complaints of the water, and that a maintenance man was coming and she would write my room number down for him to come to the room. She had asked me if I would be in the room all day. I informed her yes. I sat in that room all day waiting for the maintenance man and he never showed. I am not one to go down and complain about things so I felt that I was being brushed off for the next person to have to deal with because of the shift change. than the room being extremely hot, and the water being cold. My room was very clean! I feel as if the rooms are just outdated now and they just need improvement.

We enjoyed almost everything about this Best Western Plus. Check in was lightning fast, and came with a smile. The rooms were comfortable, spacious and clean, and the price was extremely fair. The one small con was the shower which had very, very little water pressure. Regardless, the best feature of this hotel was the breakfast. It was one of the best hotel breakfasts we've ever experienced… definitely the best we've had in quite some time. Miss May obviously took pride in the food she put out, and everything was excellent! Rooms are large but dated. Very noisy hotel with lots of slamming doors; doors need to have something done so that they don't continuously slam. Real eggs need to be used for breakfast not the artificial things that taste like a bag of salt had been thrown in. Shower curtains need to be replaced to fit the shower.

Good location, clean facility, nicely decorated for Christmas, clean room, Friendly staff, breakfast selection good with coffee choices, room price was very competitive with rewards, good TV and internet service.

The staff seemed nice. Breakfast was great. My first room was 80° with no air air. They moved me two rooms down with no working microwave, coffee maker, or shower. Tiles loose on the floor. I did not even stay the second night. Moving a second time was not an option.

We love staying here. We come here often just to let the kids swim and have a staycation. We recently stayed because I'm daughter wanted this as her birthday gift. I had a gift card I've saved from them and used it. Lisa the night clerk is amazing the best ever!!!!

Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is very close to stores and restaurants. The room is a little outdated, but for the price it was good. The breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast, but it was greasy. Bed was not comfortable. Room was clean. We would stay here again if visiting Tupelo. There is only 1 elevator. That sucked. Parking was good and multiple entrances to hotel lobby.

this room was one of the cleanest room i have ever stayed in . The breakfast really hit the spot thanks best western we will be coming back in September see you then be watching for us and get that coffee going

The staff was very friendly and the hot breakfast was very good with a wide variety of items to choose from, however the dining area was a bit small for the crowd on a Sunday morning. Our room was on the first floor at one end, so we heard lots of guests entering and exiting the exterior and hall doors. The rooms seemed a bit dated and worn. It was an okay experience.

Good location especially if you don't want to drive far for good food all the good stuff is close staff was friendly breakfast was pretty typical for a best western so it was pretty good. Would like to see on the app which room number and floor is available on app next time

I was politely & courteously checked in by Alice. The facility was in need of refurbishing and it appeared to us a good cleaning also, especially the floor in our room. There was only one elevator for 4 floors. The refrigerator in our room needed defrosting to the extent that the freezer door prevented the main door from closing completely. No garment bag for dirty clothes was left in the room. The clock was unplugged, requiring us to set the time (after figuring out the combination to do so), something I would think a component cleaning staff would notice. The breakfast selection was good but foods I'm used to being hot were warm and the biscuits were dry and stiff. The evening reception as advertised on their Choice Hotels site was no longer being offered: “Be sure to start your morning with our satisfying complimentary hot breakfast, then end your day at our evening Manager's Reception (Monday through Thursday), which includes complimentary beer, wine, soft drinks and appetizers. We were back in Tupelo two evenings later and stayed with another brand.

Hotel is well kept with a friendly staff. Amenities are second to none. Quiet rooms and are spacious. This hotel is centrally located as it is close to the mall and all the major eateries. Swimming pool area is well kept and the quality of sleep is awesome.

We were pleasantly surprised with how nice this hotel was. We were welcomed and got our room easily. The entry way had nice images of Elvis on the walls, the room was quiet, clean and comfortable. There were plenty of towels and pillows. It was a bit cool and we didn't figure out the thermostat until the morning. Signs would help. The breakfast was hot and plentiful - standard eggs, sausage, potatoes, gravy and biscuits, apples, bananas, yogurt, cereal, bread items to toast, a waffle maker, juices and coffee. It was a nice dining area and we left satisfied.

I came to stay one night on a business trip and it was very cold for MS weather. The thermostat was set to AC, so it was 59 degrees in my room. It seems like you would turn heat on if you know it's freezing outside and someone will be staying in the room. I checked for an extra blanket in the room, and there wasn't one. It took a several hours for the room to warm up. The room smelled of smoke though it's a non-smoking hotel. There was no shower curtain, so I had to go to the front desk to get one. The lady working the from desk was very friendly and also very busy. I didn't bother to report the smell and took care of the shower curtain. When going to charge my laptop and phone, I found that some of the outlets did not work. When getting in bed for the night, I saw there was something on the bed spread. The next morning, I had breakfast which was good. Overall, the room needs better cleaning and attention to detail. This seems to be an older hotel that had some quick updates, but needs additional updating. The location is great, but the room was not.

I have stayed here three years whenever I travel south. It is always clean, employees are always nice and the breakfast is good. Restraunts are near by and convenient.I will be staying here again next year.

Had a great time visiting Tupelo! We were looking at a property where we're moving too and needed a place to stay. They had great wifi, breakfast, and also laundry however they do require quarters just letting anyone know this to bring cash there to exchange.

I'm not sure what people think 5 stars means, but this place ISNT close to that score. ( The beds were great but….) 1. Got in here after 7 pm and the girl at the desk was wearing a coat. Um, not a good sign. It wasn't really a surprise then to have no heat in our room, get moved, and then have no heat in the second one either. Let both units run a bit and no difference …and, when I tried to make it warmer in the middle of the night, you know when it was 30 degrees and below freezing outside, no change in the room temp either. This is a major issue that they obviously know about or, like I mentioned earlier, the front desk clerk would not have been wearing a coat. 2. No shower water pressure at all…a trickle for all three of our attempts. Great! and 3 When we got to our first room the smoke alarm was pinging every 30 seconds. I called down right away and the front desk clerk asked me to take it off the wall. Not, oh my goodness, we'll come and change the battery. No, just take it down and bring it here and leave it. Never did bring it back with a new battery. Wow.

Another good stop for a single traveler. The room was large and clean, bed comfortable, the front staff was very welcoming, the room had a tiled shower not a tub which I really liked. A hot breakfast is offered with Keurig coffee in the room. There is a Chili restaurant next door so you can walk over for dinner. A good deal for a moderate price.

Nice stay. Great area around plenty of restaurants, some next door. Rooms need a little updating and cleaned a little better, but still a nice safe place to stay. Breakfast is average reheated food. Need hot water for tea or cocoa and cups with lids that fit

We was there when they where completely full with a lot of people checking in. The staff there did an amazing job in keeping everyone happy. The breakfast was great for a hotel breakfast. Rooms where awesome

Pool was great for kids. Rooms were comfy and cool. Softball tournament was around the corner! Location was excellent. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Walmart down road. I would recommend and stay again as Needed!

AMAZING STAY! Super clean, very friendly & helpful staff they went above and beyond! Breakfast was superb with a huge assortment of choices for everyone to pick from! Upon checkout they gave the kids goodie bags and wished them safe travels❤️ The best hotel we have ever stayed at!

My wife and I stayed here on a 12 day cross country trip. This was one of 3 Best Western Pluses we stayed at. This is a very clean hotel with very clean rooms. The staff were exceptionally friendly. The only drawbacks were just one elevator that is a bit slow, and the breakfast was a bit limited, but it was well maintained and kept extremely clean. This hotel is a little pricey for the area, but you pay for what you get, and that's a stay at a well run, very clean and immaculate hotel. The Mexican restaurant right next to was an outstanding plus.

We checked in for a one night stay and was very pleased with the hotel, staff and amenities. The bed was very comfortable the fridge worked very well for our needs. The room was quiet. We recommend staying here, This hotel is also close to a variety of restaurants.

We were very pleased by the staff and the room and pleased by the room size. I asked the staff about area food establishments, and they told us what was close. I told the desk staff that I had not been in the area before and I had been having issues with the map feature on my phone. They helped me find the best route home.

Me and the kids love this place, they have a full buffet in the morning, an indoor pool, I would give it 10 stars, me and the kids always stay here, we will not stay anywhere else LOVE THIS PLACE………..

The experience of staying in any hotel should be a good, if not great, one. The most important things for me are a clean comfortable room-Period. I stayed here during the busy season and I was more than satisfied with the accommodations. There were a couple of things that the housekeepers vacuum didn't pick up-and that isn't a deal breaker. Folks who can't put up with a little bit of noise(kids being too rambunctious, traffic outside etc,) should probably stay in an full house rental-because it's to be expected to hear a little something in a hotel. Because they (Any noise makers) will be going to bed. My room was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. I'll be staying here again.

Hotel was clean everywhere. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was everything needed. Beds comfortable. Housekeeping staff was also very friendly and helpful. Have already recommended this hotel to others.

Excellent value! Right off the interstate but Not as easy to get to as other hotels. Much nicer than cheaper motels. Very clean! Noise was never a problem which is a HUGE PLUS! Check in and out was very effecient.

Rooms were great. They were large and clean. Eater pressure wasn't great. Breakfast had a little for everyone, a high chair in the lobby for breakfast would have been nice. Pool was just okay. Location of hotel was great. I would stay again if in the area

The location of the hotel is very close to the mall and various food sources. The staff is very professional, friendly & attentive. They always greet you. Breakfast is hot & always ready on time. It's very peaceful , relaxing & quiet space.

I made reservations for a night going toward a destination and another night coming back. It was really great that they reserved the 3 rooms we needed for all of our family and they were located beside each other. We also had the same rooms on the way back. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was an overall great experience. There are several restaurants nearby which was great for us.

Award program is a sham. BW uses phone call for reservation to sell more expensive room than offered by local motel. You do not get a discount and in fact are offered higher price. You have to turn down higher price to be offered the same price provided by motel on line.

The hotel was very clean,staff is one of the best we have come across location was great to all places to eat. Breakfast had great choices and was hot. Will definitely be staying there again and will advise friends and family too

Our recent stay at the Best Western Hotel in Tupelo Mississippi was nothing short of being completely perfect! From our arrival until we departed the following morning, we were treated so well by all of the staff there. They could not have been nicer to us & we look forward to our next stay at a Best Western Hotel!

The staff are always very friendly and helpful with any local questions I've had.The hotel there in Tupelo has never failed me. I come to Tupelo every month to visit my Mom, and it's been the cleanest and most quiet of all. I one stayed at a nearby park in a secluded cottage-4 wheelers until MIDNIGHT! Never again... Brown Recluse poisonous spider bites after staying in this hotel. Got really sick and had to go to urgent care missing majority of our beach vacation! Hotel staff seemed like it was normal. Find a Hilton brand hotel!

Was in town for a softball tournament. They were one of the host hotels. So they offered a better deal. They had comfy beds and spacious rooms. Had a great experience. Only thing I'd change is adding USB charging ports. Room had a keurig, so take your favorite k-cups with you!

This is a very nice facility. The personnel are pleasant and professional and the facility is nice and clean, The choices for breakfast were better than expected and the quality of the food was very good.

This location has bed bugs. Was bitten in the middle of the night and had to change rooms. Unfortunately, it was too late to leave. The front desk clerk, Nanci, was the very unprofessional , rude. I will never return to this hotel.

We have always enjoy going to Best Western Plus hotels. Convenient, always have an indoor pool, snacks, food and always a LOT of variety for free breakfasts! The BW hotels we have been in have all had very friendly staff, too!

Beware! The rooms are filthy, the bedding is worn out (wholes in some places). Yet, the worst thing was that the personnel seems to be stealing if you are not very careful. We accidentally left my son's electronic device in the room when we left. The room was locked and upon the departure we returned the key to the receptionist. We discovered this loss about 8 hours later and immediately called the hotel. They said they are not responsible for our belongings (which is true). The housekeeper claimed she did not see anything in the room. Many of my friends at one time or another accidentally left things in hotels, most of the time the personnel was honest and returned the lost items.Not in this hotel!

Filthy isn't a strong enough word. Our room was nasty. Asked for it to be cleaned 3 times. Had to go down to get trash bags and towels.Party on Monday night in room 401 and 402. Loud sex, doors slamming all night, a fight, and all partiers were locals.

We rented this hotel based on reviews . Never believe everything you read. Hotel floors and carpets were dirty. Hotel was very tired. In need of a facelift. But I do have to say sheets seamed clean and mattress was comfortable. Would check out hotel before renting.

I arrived at check in time at 3:00 but room was not ready, 15 minutes later they said the room was ready got my key went up to find the room was a single bed not the double I payed for, I called back down to the front desk and they tried to tell me it was a upgrade, I told them I didn't mind but they would at least need to change the room rate to a single room the lady handed the phone to someone else and I had to begin explaining my situation to another person. I finally just requested to get what I payed for, went back downstairs, just handed me my key not any respect or an acknowledgment of the mistake. The stay was for 2 nights and when we got up to the room it was not cleaned the floors specifically, the next day my wife got up to get ready and none of the outlets worked. It was also the worst night I have ever had in any hotel I had ever stayed in and admittedly I have stayed in some cheap hotels before, one word no sound proofing, heard everything from kids stomping to couples arguing. The second night was no better. I also had to take keys back to the desk to get them to work for my second day.

My review with regards to this hotel...it exceeds my expectations of a hotel. I believe it's the people who work there-always courteous, friendly and treat me as though I were their only guest. The meal steward was such a nice, southern humble GEM of a lady.I only needed a cup of coffee, but her attention to lil ol me is something that one just doesn't experience every day.

Attractive hotel in ideal location. Very friendly staff and excellent complimentary breakfast with many choices. The eggs and bacon were delicious. My issue, like other viewers, is with the condition of the carpeting. Our room looked and felt clean, but other reviewers noted their room carpets looked like those in the hallways, which were pretty worn and stained. The beds were comfortable, and again, the staff was very warm and welcoming. However, returning back we plan the New Albany location 20 min away at $20/night cheaper.

This is a tired hotel. Worn in many areas though we did hear they are going through a renovation soon. Staff was pleasant. Location is near the mall and you can walk to several good restaurants, mall and movie theaters. Must drive to historic downtown Tupelo and Elvis stuff.

Excellent place to stay! Well appointed room, great shower, no wimpy water pressure, bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was better than many I have had to pay for. Pool and work out room are available. I stay here every time I pass through this way.

When I arrived, the bed skirt was halfway tucked under the bed, the pillows looked like someone had been laying on them, the sheets were wrinkled & stained, and there was pieces of trash still on the floor. Also, the soap tray in the bathroom had not been cleaned from the previous guests. Complete waste of money.

Spent one night here while traveling on the Natchez Trace. The hotel is close to highways, restaurants and stores, though not walkable. It was a good spot for a decent night's sleep. My room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. There were a few issues, including a broken door for the refrigerator cabinet and a clock that wouldn't Illuminate (and that I needed to set myself). Still, it was clean. The staff are all very friendly. The elevator was quite slow and felt very stuffy, so I used the stairs instead as much as possible. The breakfast was good with hot and cold options.

1st room no towels, shampoo etc. and the cabinet door for the frig was off the one hinge. We were put in a 2nd room and the one bed had no top sheet, the bed had not been changed. The bottom sheet was all wrinkled and had a hair on it. The manager said she would bring a sheet up. Tired and wanting to go to bed I got tired of waiting. I went downstairs and the manager was sitting on get phone. She said the sheet was in the dryer. I told yer I need a bottom sheet too. We were put in the 3rd room. I had 2-$20 BW gift cards, the rest of the stay we just pd the taxes. Horrible experience!

Carpet not clean in hall or room. Trash left behind from previous guest. I expect a lot more from Best Western Plus hotel. I stay in Best Westerns most of the time because I can usually count on them being clean. The hotel appears to be a nice hotel in a good location, but they need better management.

I have no way of knowing if this is typical but a refund is in order. Hotel ran out of towels! no clean towels on Saturday until 9pm and only after we went down stairs and ask for them. No service for coffee or trash, no peephole in door, just paper stuck in it. Toilet seat was broken. Beds were nice and a good location for shopping and restaurants. Saturday night elevator was out of order and they only have one. I would not stay at this location again.

Paid $150 for a $60 room… there were obvious stains on the bed and carpet, and after looking around found a broken razor blade on the floor by the bed. “Literally” stay at your owl risk!!!! Got a refund and went to the Hampton Inn around the corner!!!

Shower was not clean. Housekeeping not present. Cleaned myself. Requested staff cleaning for 2 days with no results. Reminded staff 3 times in 2 days that shower needed cleaning with no results. Additional issues, hall floors were filthy.

Extremely dirty and will not be back! When we stayed in February 2021 it was a lot cleaner. The price was fair so we decided to stay there again. I'm not sure what happened but the place is really going downhill fast! The carpets the whole way in and out to a room or extremely dirty! She crushed chips right in front of our door the whole stay. Was sad to see how filthy the place was.

Hotel needs to be given a really good cleaning from rooms to public areas. Don't fall for the breakfast unless you bring your own jelly and milk and cereal unless you like bland. No waffles (could be a covid thing but guest sharing tongs and opening bacon holder seems to disagree with that assumption).

Hotel staff are very polite and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lacking. Juice machine was out of order which happens but ease at least put out a pitcher of water for the customers. No cereal, no milk, no toast. Hot foods were okay, but nothing out of the ordinary. It's too bad the breakfast was so bad because the rest of the stay was good.

Exceptionally friendly staff, clean rooms & common areas. We will stay here again. We we greated by friendly outgoing night clerks upon our arrival. She called me by name & commented on my home town .

This hotel is close to everything! Walking distance to restaurants, bars, etc. They have a pool and fitness center and the breakfast is great especially the fruit/cheese Danish's. Staff were friendly.

We have stayed at Best Western Motels a lot in the past but a lot of the time they are not available. We were fortunate to be able to stay at Best Western in Tupelo, Miss. this past week. I have had a Best Western Rewards card for many years and was so appreciative that the clerk in Tupelo honored our card which took several dollars off the tab. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. We plan to stay here the next time we come through Tupelo.

Has become a dump. Dirty. Filthy and frayed carpet. If we hadn't arrived so late after driving over 600 miles today, we'd have hunted another hotel. Bathroom lacked normal shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and TOWELS! Had 2 bath towels. One queen bed — sheets were too small, the other bed was made with king sheets. No pillow cases. Bedding skirts were terrible in appearance as was the way bedding was thrown together on the beds. We've stayed here multiple years' past, but it has just become a terrible representative of BW properties.

We use Best Western often as we have come to rely on their standards, however this one fell very short of the mark. First room we were given wasn't made up, second room we had the toilet was running and the shower drain was slow so you stood in water while showering. However the biggest problem was the clerk at check out desk who couldn't be bothered to wear a mask, even tho there were signs on entrance, elevator and other parts of hotel saying a mask was required. The carpet in halls were beyond dirty, just disgusting. It gave the whole place an appearance of being dirty. We had stayed at Best Western in New Albany, only 20 miles away on our last trip, much cleaner, and $20 less. Don't know why this hotel was more money, it sure wasn't worth it.

This hotel was fine, but I did not feel it was worth the amount we paid per night. The carpet in the hallways was extremely dingy and stained. Also, the air conditioner in our room was very noisy and the room never reached a comfortable temperature. When the air conditioner was on it would be extremely cold and then it would quickly heat up if it turned off.

Typically the TripAdvisor reviews are spot on, but this one really threw me. Not sure how this hotel qualified for 4.5 stars - and this Best Western certainly doesn't live up to the ‘Plus” in its name. Had a reservation - Waited over 15 minutes to get checked in (the gal in front of us had waited longer). The staff member came out of the ladies room (?) - no apologies, no “sorry to keep you waiting”. We were doing her a favor by being there. Sour attitude. Hotel in general is tired and run down. The overflowing garbage can at the entrance was the tip off. Dirty, stained rugs in hallways, dirty elevator, etc. Tired rooms. Was bearable for a one night stay, just can't get over the 4.5 star rating.

It's really not a horrible place. The outside of the building looked great. You'd think it was new when arriving. The grounds surrounding the hotel were beautifully landscaped. There were some cleanliness and maintenance issues. I was disappointed with the appearance of some of the public areas. The hallway carpeting was dirty and stained. There was an issue with the cleanliness of our refrigerator. The cleaning staff needs to check the refrigerators and clean them after guests leave. When I opened my refrigerator, I found some food and drink items left behind from the previous occupant. I gave them to the front desk person and complained to her about it. She was apologetic. The trash can in the hallway was overflowing. The room was spacious and quite appealing. It had beautiful carpeting. The furniture was pretty. The bed was comfortable, as was the couch. I always like it when there are restaurants next to the hotel. Chili's and Olive Garden are next door so that you don't have to drive anywhere. Breakfast was typical pre-pandemic hotel food. I appreciated that they tried to do this. Some hotels are not bothering to serve any type of hot meal. There is a lovely indoor swimming pool. This place could be beautiful. I wish I could write a better review for it, also. I'm sorry, but for the price I was expecting much better.

After a long night driving in storms, we arrived. Reserved 3 rooms. Checked in the 1st one and the room was already occupied. Manager didn't think it was a big deal and the hotel was booked. Were told wait 30 minutes so they (front desk staff) could go clean a room. It was 10:30 PM, we had a child and a baby that needed to go to bed. They ended up getting us a room that was clean. The second room had no toiletries and no towels or washcloths, just one hand towel. Manager didn't care to hear about the issues and said it was the same as going to McDonalds and getting an incorrect order.

Chose this hotel as it was rated #1 for Tupelo Ms on Trip Advisor site. Not sure how that came to be. Outside appearance and lobby were good. Receptionist very friendly and helpful. Room had a king bed which was clean but no bed skirt so twin mattresses exposed, wow. Carpet stained and the halls were terrible! Needs complete overhaul on carpet. Breakfast at 8:40 had nothing to offer but biscuit with sausage and roll. No cereal, milk, yogurt, waffles, nothing. Attendant said there was a big crowd but not sure because breakfast was to be served till 10. Felt sorry for the many families with kids who had nothing to choose from and turned away. Wouldn't stop here again.

Bed was not made up at check in which was 5:30 pm. Halls and stairs were dirty. Carpet in halls stained. Desk clerk was very helpful getting room made up and apologized for lack of staff for cleaning.

Quick summary: the room itself was clean and comfortable. Mae gave us a great complimentary breakfast. Safe COVID practices. We stayed here while touring the Natchez Trace. Room 306 has two comfy queen beds, lots of pillows, and a just-right comforter. Good storage in the 3-drawer unit and closet. Separate bar area allowed you to spread out. Many of the amenities we expect of a well-run BW (we are fans of the chain, and stay at many:) in-room coffee maker, lots of plugs for the devices, good lighting, iron/board. No in-room safe, which seems to be disappearing from BW's. Spacious, fresh bathroom with stone top vanity. Combo tub/shower. Shampoo and conditioner provided. Nice public rooms and there is a pool (we didn't use.) Spotless housekeeping. Friendly, professional staff. Rely on them for advice about restaurants, directions, etc. Mae in breakfast area provides a GREAT grab-and-go breakfast, even during COVID (although you can sit in the dining area.) Omelette, pile of crispy bacon, delish bisquit, blueberry muffin. You can also serve yourself some items like fresh fruit and yogurt. God bless her -- she has REAL half-and-half for the coffee, not the powder creamer. Admittedly, we like stronger coffee, but that is typical of most BW's we've stayed at. Due diligence: the wifi was slow and dropped out from time to time, and was not secure (the latter often the case in hotels). Housekeeping also needs to get the in-room coffee maker a coffee pan that fits. Mae's breakfast made up for these shortcomings (especially the bad wifi) that normally I would mark down more seriously. Staff exhibited good COVID safety procedures throughout. So -- I'd be happy to stay here again, but forewarned aobut the wifi situation.

When I arrived, it seemed ok. Looked new and clean from the outside! I checked in with no problems, except the front desk staff was on the phone the entire time! We get upstairs and it was not the room I booked. I needed two beds but only had one. I called downstairs and she told me that was all they had and there was nothing that she could do! She said that the couch let out into a bed and she guessed that was what I needed to do! At this point my only option was to use the sofa. Opened it up.... still had dirty sheets from previous guest! I called downstairs again and was told again there was nothing that she could do. They didn't have extra bedding to give me! So now not only do I not have an extra bed, I don't have clean bedding for the pullout! I go to get in bed and there is not a blanket on that bed! I decided I would address it the next day! After lunch I met up with other people in the lobby I was traveling with. At this time I realized they were having similar issues! We were confronted by the GM. She asked what my complaint was. I told her I just needed a blanket! That's all.... just a blanket! She then became very combative telling me that she only has enough blankets for her beds. She doesn't have anything extra and I should have brought blankets with me! She always traveled with blankets and sheets to hotels! I have never in my life taken my amenities with me! At this point I was extremely upset! I told her if my reservation would have just been correct I would not have any issues! She then told me I shouldn't have booked through a third party. Which I didn't.... I booked through Best Western, but she told me Best Western was a third party I should have called the hotel! She then started yelling at me and told me she would give me my money back so I could leave.... which she never did! I have never in my life had to deal with this from any hotel and I will never be back!

Our first introduction to Tupelo Best Western Plus was the lovely lobby with informative pamphlets about Tupelo. Eventually, a curt Nanci arrived to check us in. We felt we were an inconvenience both in her initial greeting & in additional requests. The floor of our room had not been vacuumed likely due to the shortstaffing of housekeeping we were informed of by Nanci. There was a used chewing tobacco pouch, opened reeses package, and micro debris on the floor. The room was otherwise clean with adequate accommodations. The hall staircase door slams shut, in need of a hydraulic adjustment. The star of this establishment is Mrs. Mae in her morning culinary hospitality. Mrs. Mae had enough hospitality to go around :) The room kitchen amenities worked terrific and the keurig is a nice touch. The a/c worked great and the shower had great water pressure with piping hot water. Television and Wi-fi were great.

The room we were assigned was, simply put, dirty. The furniture and fixtures clearly had not been dusted in a long time. One of the bed covers was clearly stained and had long, dark hairs all over it. The soap dish in the bathroom had significant soap residue from a previous guest. The tub also had long, dark hair in it and the drain was exceptionally slow. The carpet was ripped, stained and pulling up from the floor where it met the hard surface of the entryway. I immediately called to request a room change and was told that was not possible because the hotel was fully booked for the night. The front desk staff did come up to toss on different bed cover and clean the soap dish. I believe my family should have been moved to a different room, and this room re-cleaned for a guest checking in later in the evening. We assume the smoke alarm battery needed to be changed because a bright white light flashed from it at regular intervals all night long. Our room faced the road, and the traffic noise was significant. If you choose to stay here, request a room at the end of the building away from the road. The breakfast provided was fine. The breakfast attendant was friendly. Upon check-out, I was not asked how my stay was. Had I been, I would have relayed my concerns directly to the desk staff rather than writing a public review. (By the way, it appeared that the carpet behind the front desk hadn't been vacuumed in weeks.) We are Best Western loyalty reward members and regularly stay at Best Western Plus Hotels. Our stay in Tupelo was a poor reflection on the brand that we have come to trust for a clean, comfortable and quality stay at a reasonable price.

This has to be the dirtiest hotel ever. Granted it's an old one, but maintenance is EXTREMELY lacking in this hotel. All the surfaces in the room were dirty and very dusty. Talk about dust hanging from the bathroom vent, and pee all over the toilet. Disgusting!!! I'd rate it a -5 if that was possible. Don't waste your money.

Not the cleanest or most well kept, but we slept well. Breakfast is not great either but it is edible. We were really dissappointed that the pool and exercise facilities were closed still due to COVID. Mask mandates are lifted and things are opening up, this is something we pay for but even without it there's not a discounted price.

Our room was cleaner than some of the higher end motels we have stayed in. New paint and other updates. Bed was a comfortable sleep We were able to park our semi. Good restaurants within walking distance. Rate was awesome. Staff person was very accommodating. Recommend hughly.

We stayed here last year and found it to be very nice so we made reservations for this year. The hall carpets were almost black from dirt, carpet in room was dirty, we made sure we did not walk barefoot on it. Staff was fantastic but things needed to be cleaned and replaced. A bench in the breakfast room was so bad the cover on it was in tatters. See attached photo. We will look for different hotel on way home.

I pulled the bathmat off the tub to take a shower and it was completely wet. It hadn't been changed out from the previous customer. I inspected the sink and shower and both were covered in hair. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned. The rest of the room was covered in dust and filth. I took the wet towel to the front desk and explained the room had not been cleaned. The clerk was the rudest front desk clerk I have ever met. She said I can't do anything about it. We are sold out. I placed the wet towel on the counter and she yelled at me to remove it. We asked for a manager and she said we would have to wait until the morning. Do not stay at this hotel! They are not only doing nothing to mitigate the risk of Covid, they are actually creating an environment to spread this virus and others.

To the hotel owner/opperator: Mildred in your breakfast food service is the reason we came back to this hotel. She is fantastic! She is friendly and gives excellent service above and beyond the call of duty.

Place is nice on the outside and is very deceiving from online pics. Probably one of the dirtiest places I've ever stayed. I would definitely not recommend this place to my worst enemy! Don't walk away “RUN”

The floors had sticky stuff all over them, I called to get it cleaned up but no one came. The lights in the bathroom were not all working there's no water pressure and the people next to me had a loud party until 1am or so. It wasn't just the room next to me it was multiple rooms on my floor. Nothing was done about any of it. The room had potential if it had been cleaner and the party would have calmed down by 11 instead of 1am

Everything looked nice at first glance but then I noticed a large hair on the shower wall, a used q-tip on the floor in the bathroom, and a sticky area on the bathroom floor. The heating/AC unit did not work correctly as the thermostat never was close to how it felt in the room. The bed covers consisted of a thin blanket sandwiched between 2 sheets but we were OK because we were in a suite with a couch bed and there was an extra blanket (very scratchy) in the closet for that bed and we used it on our king bed. The bed was a little too firm for me but it could have been much worse. The bed is very high off the floor so it's hard to get into and the night stand is very low due to the height of the bed. The clerk who checked us in in the evening was wonderful! So friendly and polite.

Very thing was great! Staff, rooms etc. will always stay there on our following trips! Everything was clean and very neat facility. Our room had everything we needed and more. Pool and exercise area was outstanding

Unless something breaks, this will be the only hotel I use when in Tupelo. When you get great service, location and comfort there's not real good reason to go elsewhere. And those are the major things to consider when you put yourself in a position of lodging when away from home.

This hotel was a last minute choice to break up a 15-hour drive and I wish I'd chosen a bit more wisely. Look, I get it: times are tough right now, staff is cut, etc. But when we're in the midst of a pandemic, the least the staff can do is make sure all surfaces are clean. The floors were sticky, hairs were everywhere - in the tub, on the floor, on the clean linens... to the point where it felt more sanitary to wear our shoes in the room. Other things, like the open safety pin on the floor of our room and the cigarette-butt filled water bottle in the hallway, didn't give much confidence in how well the place had been disinfected. For $90, we deserved better, and so do you.

We have stayed at to many -to count -hotels all the way from FL to CA as we have done this trip over five times, and this have been our worst experience. We always booked before to arrive and never have a problem with the reservation and if is a matter of waiting for it to show up in the system that is ok, but this lady in the front desk not only was clueless on how to find the reservation made from a third party, she was with a big attitude, never even say hi, good night or smile. She acted like the were nothing she can do about it and she can care less, when we ask her a question she won't even look up or speak clear. We had it to call the third party and they call right away and guide her, once she found it took about 30 min just to print a paper and slide us the ID and the keys. I asked her about a manager and her response was, do you see anyone else in here? Rude and unprofessional. Her name is “Octavio” once we left she grab the phone and start talking to someone about it really loud and laughing. Managers or Owners you really need to re training your staff! Plus she wasn't wearing a mask. Once in the room, the bathroom wasn't clean and the bed wasn't made properly what makes me feel uncomfortable.

We stayed for three days. The. Housekeeping staff were very friendly and courteous. However,there were loud noises,cursing and the feel of violence. At approx by 9:30 PM one night the police were called and an arrest was made. I did not feel safe. I told the front desk, after trying for 20 minutes to reach them. When we checked out, I told the front desk. The manager came out and told me these types of things happen. I explained to her that it had never happened to me. She told me that she was surprised. She said after 20 years in the business it does happen. I was very disappointed because for the price that we paid. We should have better security in the building. Needless to say, I won't ever stay there again.

Well I saw all the reviews on this place and booked anyway. Looks nice on the outside lobby looks nice room was clean the hallway carpet was very filthy the lady on check in was nice. But she was always on her cell phone. The hotel walls are paper thin you can hear everything everywhere stayed on 3 floor and there were small children running and bouncing off the beds I think family's with small children should be on the lower levels or staged so the guests so not on top of each other especially when the hotel no not busy !! Even had someone try their key in the door around 4:30 Great location is it only good point

I usually like Best Western Plus hotels. Pros: price, location, breakfast lady, breakfast area very clean and they were following COVID restrictions. Cons: no tissues in the room, coffee maker did not work, mold in shower, and the worst were the linens. Scratchy sheets, thin blankets and one pillow short.

We stayed here while traveling from AR to FL. The room was dirty and had mold growing in the trash can, front desk attendant gave someone else our same room key so we were walked in on, and there was loud laughter and talking coming from lobby at 3:30 am! We won't stay here again..

Hadn't stayed at a BW in 20 years but website for this Plus hotel seemed appealing for the cost. Exterior looked new. Lobby and check in seemed appropriately inviting and clean. The rooms and hallways were a different story. Absolutely filthy and obviously not vacuumed. Bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. But the filthy carpet and obvious lack of supposed care made first Covid-19 hotel stay very unpleasant. Would not recommend hotel because of this.

I appreciate service and especially good service. I understand with Covid 19 is a very stressful time. The Best Western employees made our stay as good as it gets. Special thanks to Ms. Mae for a delightful breakfast and a pleasant greeting each morning. Our Ms. Nanci at the front desk was so accommodating and thanked us for staying there and invited us to stay next time. This is what I call great Service. Thank you Best Western and make sure to keep Nanci and Ms. They make your hotel great!

Our recent stay was an experience, to say the least. We were in town for a wedding and unfortunately the stay was not good. The carpets were very dirty. In a time where staff had masks on and one even asked a customer to "back-up" because they were too close, you would think cleaning carpets (and cleaning in general) would be a top priority! Our drawers in our room had trash in them. The lamps had to be plugged in and didn't function correctly with the light switches. Day staff was on their phone any time I approached the desk. The housekeeper had her music so loud while she was cleaning that it came into our room. I was trying to figure out where in the world the inappropriate music with curse words and n**** was coming from and discovered it was from the staff. We have two young children. The walls are super thin. My husband and I could hear staff in the housekeeping room at 2:00 AM loudly talking and laughing. Any time someone was talking in the hallway it was very loud. Also, the icing on the cake of our hotel experience? Our locked car was stolen...from the parking lot. We reported it immediately the next morning and the main management and corporate acted as if they could care less. They refused to allow police access to cameras. They refused to allow our family members (who own a security company) to look at the cameras. They didn't offer a discount, complimentary comp of a night....nothing. Not only will we never stay at this hotel again but we will not stay at a Best Western again. Was it their fault our car was stolen? No. Could they have had proper customer experience and done everything possible to assist? Most definitely. Management has already contacted my husband with a poor response with still no apology of how matters were handled...just a heads up that they will get the carpets cleaned.

The carpets were filthy, in all hallways, elevator & entrance. Our bedroom had dirt in the drawer, crackers (open) left by the cleaning staff, brown spot on the curtains, trash behind the night stand, and a lamp that didn't work - we had to unscrew a bulb to turn it off. Some staff were very kind, some spent a lot of the time on their phone or outside smoking. A gentleman had to wait about 5 minutes while the lady who was working the evening shift was outside smoking. One of the housekeepers woke us up by her LOUD music in the hallway and it had very foul language, which my children did not need to hear. Several cars were broken into and ours was stolen and the hotel management, owners, & corporate (we called) could have cared less. They refused to work with the police to access the cameras and were very uninterested in taking care of their guests. The front desk clerk tried calling management several times for us to no avail. Not even sure the cameras were recording. Other then a couple of the very kind staff that cared to try and help us - it was a terrible experience. It is a management issue for sure.

I have stopped at this hotel many times and it's been great but I stayed there last week and it was dirty. Very disappointed. Will not be staying there again. Tried to change rooms and was told there were none available. Even the hallways and elevators needed cleaned. So much for extra cleaning for Corno.

Price was excellent. Beds were awesome. Floor In the room was not vacuumed but the rest of the room was spotless. Flooring throughout the hotel could use a good cleaning or replacing. Pool was closed due to Corona pandemic, kids were sad but understood. Great location, close to many shops, restaurants and gas stations. Front desk staff was quiet but helpful. Would stay again.

Floors of lobby were linty and needed vacuuming badly. Room was clean but there was a bit of sticky soda (I assume) in the sink, and some hairs around the toilet and shower. Curtains smelled dusty. Lamp was also dusty. Office chair was were rickety and sounded like it might break when I sat in it. (I am 118 lbs). Beds and linens were very clean though. Front desk lady did her job quickly and the check in process was swift, but she wasn't very friendly at all.

Chose this hotel based on the good reviews and the pictures made it seem pretty updated. The hallways are dirty, there is stuff all over the floor. Our room had not been vacuumed. There was food crumbs on the carpet and the bathroom floor was dirty. Besides the floor, the bathroom seemed ok. The bedding seemed clean also.

When I called to make reservation I asked for a room downstairs closest to the front desk. I stayed at a hotel last year in Virginia for a murder happen next to me and I heard it all. I was told no problem on phone and when I got there, they put me on the 2nd floor, room at the end. Hair on pillows on bed, in bath tub and in bath towels. Call these front desk and they told me they will leave a note for the morning. They brought me 2 pillows and cleaning supplies so "I" can clean the bathtub. Towels, were just gross. Called 800 number-customer service. Got nowhere and didn't care. I was called 3 times in 20 minutes asking me if I was done with cleaning products from front desk. Sorry for being tired as I drove for 12 hours and could care less about you wanting your cleaning products back. How about having a clean room I paid for? Next morning I received a telephone call from front desk at 7:59am asking if I wanted the room cleaned. REALLY???

We have stayed at this hotel about 4 or 5 times on our way from Okla to Georgia. Haven't really had any issues. However this last stay we had a few..nothing major. The first problem was our neighbors above us! Several rowdy kids that were apparently jumping on the beds and floor being really loud. We called up there and ask to speak to the parent and the kid said she was downstairs smoking a cigarette. So we ask them to settle down. Well a few minutes later it started up again. So this time my husband went to the desk and told them and they immediately called up there. Not too longer..after they calmed down. All I have to say about this is I realize kids will be kids, but put them on the lower level. Secondly, I noticed trash around the elevator and then again on our floor and also a totally full trashcan outside by the smoking area with cigarette butts all over and more trash all around the sitting area. I understand the staff was probably not as usual because of the virus, but I just thought this is one thing that they could take the time to clean up. We are going to try another place next time we are through this area. Overall not that bad but could use some improvement.

Easy to find. Helpful staff. Nice room. Beds were good and comfy. Lots of pillows too. Nice bathroom with fast hot water. TV had lots of choices. Food closed due to the virus but it looks like a nice serving area.

Rooms were awesome clean and cozy. Bed was very comfy. My husband told me I didn't even snore (lol) so it must have been the bed. We are going to be looking for a new mattress. This was our second time to stay here and will for sure use this hotel again.

Nice hotel. Clean and run well. Large room with comfy bed. Quiet even though it was full for local sporting events. Breakfast was very good. Eggs and bacon and muffins. Walk to several restaurants nearby.

First time taking this route to Florida so not sure where to stay. By our good fortune we selected the Best Western. Very pleased with room and location. The room was clean, a real bath tub. Not plastic insert. Beds very comfortable.

Great service, hot breakfast (real eggs, bacon/sausage, and fruit, etc) and clean, comfy beds and pillows! Enjoyed our stay! We were just passing through and this was a great last minute find for great value!

Awesome friendly staff great food overall a great place to stay. i I have stayed at this location many time while traveling through Tupelo, it s my go to place to stay. I highly recommend this Motel chain looking for a great service and reasonable rate over all a great value.

I have stayed here 2-3 times per year for more than 7 years. These people are so friendly, the facility is clean and nice, and the breakfast is the best. Complimentary snacks and lite meal in the evening- this Best Western is consistently a pleasure to stay in, and work from.

The check in process was quick and easy. All of the staff that we met we courteous and friendly. The room was very nicely decorated and clean. The breakfast was very good. Lots of options for the whole family. Great all around.

Breakfast was enjoyable fast checkin and fast check out.only thing wrong was corner in the bath was dirty..would still use them again.They were I walking distance of a few restaurants. The front clerk in check was quick.

Here is what most people want to hear.....yes it was clean in the room and bathroom; and the bed was comfortable. I was never able to use the internet and never found out why. The breakfast was just slightly better than the bad breakfast that l had at the Ramada the day before. The Ramada night had cost less than half of the stay at the Best Western. The halls were worn and dingy. Traffic could be heard all night.

The location was great. The service was wonderful. The staff was friendly and accomodating. We moved in for the week and felt like we were at home. One of the staff obliged and took a family photo for us.

Marlena was great when she checked me in. She recommended the Crossroads BBQ for supper when I asked. The room was comfortable and the a/c-heating worked well. I like to leave the fan on to help with noises and it worked well. It was a little strange when the fan in the bathroom came on just because you walked in! I know the TV has a guide, but I would have liked to have a printed list of stations to find what we wanted quickly. Breakfast had many choices and it wa good.

Having stayed at this hotel previously, I had come to expect a great stay and I was not disappointed. This hotel staff are friendly and efficient. The rooms were very nice. Great location. Can walk to movie theater and restaurants. Grandchildren loved the heated indoor pool. Breakfast was terrific. Great selection and the food was actually prepared the way my family and I prefer. Will definitely stay at this location when visiting in the area!

The hotel was convenient to get to off of the highway. Walking distance to restaurants and stores. Friendly staff. It was a family friendly place. I felt safe walking around the area. I would definitely stay here again.

Room 211- no A/c, no clock, trash behind night stand when we received one and plugged it in. Maintenance fellow on duty was very nice in trying to correct first room a/c issue and provide a clock. Evening young woman at front desk*****moved us to a new room. Room 205-Much better on a/c! TV was unplugged. Trash behind that stand and behind the night stand. Tub drain didn't drain well at all. Shower head loose and leaked water, resulting in wet bathroom floor. Toilet seat doesn't fit correctly and is loose. Sink faucet in both rooms groaned loudly when turned on. Light switches and a/c cover we're not clean. Bathroom outlets would not work. Coffee maker coffee holder was broken. Arms loose on desk chair. Woman at checkout was very defensive. We were compensated. Worst stay we've had in years. Took a few photos.

We have stayed at this property for four years in a row. It is a good stopping point as we travel from Iowa to Florida. We love the saltwater pool. The rooms are clean and welcoming. The staff is very inviting. The breakfast is filling and offers great selections. We highly recommend this hotel!

This is a well placed easy to find hotel. As with all Best Westerns it is a well run no nonsense pit stop!! Check in & out was straightforward,friendly & quick. Room was clean and spacious with good A/C. As with all Best Westerns my only gripe is breakfast which is poor!! However all in all a good example of the brand.

I was impressed with how clean it was. The beds were very comfortable and staff was friendly. Nice swimming pool. The breakfast was really good too. Easy to check in and fast check out! We will be back!

Booking this hotel was a last min kind of deal, and an absolute great one. The desk clerk at the front was super nice considering the time of hour and very helpful. I received a spacious room with one queen size bed. The room itself was clean,it had very nice decor,a cable TV, and free WiFi.The hotel served a delicious complementary breakfast and also included an indoor pool. Definitely will be returning.

It doesn't take a genius to know that hotel staff aren't being paid an exorbitant wage-but the staff at this Best Western behaved as though they were highly paid. Professional, friendly and great. I plan on staying here for all of our future visits because of the level of treatment we received from the staff.

Clean hotel with comfortable beds and close to restaurants. We were impressed by the friendly employees and their kindness. Breakfast area was very clean and the food fresh. Better breakfast than a day food and convenient!

The accommodation is great, especially the bed, one of the best I've slept in. The pool, gym parking and service are flawless. The free breakfast is OK, probably not something I would seek out and pay for myself, but the food and drinks are well, OK. But, there is just that one thing; the shower. The water pressure is extremely low to the extent that you need to dance around in there to get wet. Note to Hotel Management, do yourselves a favor and sort this out. it will really top off a great stay. Funny thing, we thought we were staying in a quite sleepy place, but Trump was in town at the same time, unfortunately we were too busy to meet him. I'm sure he'll understand. I need to emphasize the high level of service by the staff. They really are terrific.

I visit in Tupelo several times a year and Best Western is where I always stay! I used to stay elsewhere but did not feel quite as safe as this Best Western. The staff, housekeeping and front desk, are all very friendly and efficient. They take their job seriously! I will continue to book my visits at this hotel.

This current trip of ours has involved 10 states and various cities. We have stayed at quite a few hotels of which a few were Best Westerns. This one was as usual a very nice stay. No surprises here. Everything was clean and comfortable and the staff was great. Very courteous. We did not use the breakfast this time.

The room was nice room, quiet, there were several restaurants surrounding the hotel in walking distance (best BBQ ribs I've EVER had in the restaurant behind the hotel), and the staff were super nice.

The staff at NMMC ER arranged for my stay after I was discharged from the hospital (I was in an auto-accident). The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I arrived about 5:30 pm October 5, 2019. The room was very comfortable. We left Sunday morning after taking part in their breakfast buffet (very good).

Nice hotel that is conveniently located near restaurants and shopping. Hotel rooms were very clean. Great lobby and the breakfast was excellent with a good selection of items. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I was in town on a family emergency and did not check in until 2 am . They were so friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome!! Room was very clean and had everything we needed . The breakfast had a huge selection-more than most hotels. They had a very nice indoor pool .The price was great compared to others in the area. I had my son with me and he loved the fast internet . I could go on and on!! This is the first time I have ever left a review on any hotel, but this one deserved me taking the time to do so!! When in Tupelo, I will always stay here .

We arrived after a trying time on the interstate, and were exhausted. The front desk was a place of acceptance and gracious hospitality. That was the beginning of a very pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, breakfast very good and the people made the stay most enjoyable.

Very friendly staff. Nice indoor pool. Very beautiful facility and very clean. Water pressure in shower was very low and the queen beds were small, but overall loved my experience! Nice location surrounded by restaurants.

Very nice property with lots of restaurants close by but extremely expensive rates. Asked for rate reduction due to business reasons but was told that management said no to any rate reductions. This is crazy when you have guests who travel a lot and many places to choose from.

I stayed at this hotel for just one night while attending a church conference in Tupelo. The lady who checked me in was very hospitable and was able to get me a slightly reduced room rate since I was attending the conference and their team was staying there, which I appreciated. My room was clean and the decor was fairly up to date—not as sleek and new-looking as some newer hotels, but nice. The only slight issue I had was that the water pressure in the shower was very weak; I reported it to the lady on duty while checking out and she said that she would have someone check on it. My bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The breakfast area was well-stocked, the food was attractively displayed and there was a lady on duty keeping the tables clean. I can't say that the food was any better than normal Best Western fare, but it tasted okay and I had plenty to eat. The lady who checked me out was also very nice; I left my sweater in my room and had to come back and retrieve it and she was helpful in getting my card to work again so I could get in my room. Overall I had a very good experience and would recommend this hotel to anyone passing through Tupelo!

Recommended by the tourist place want looking forward to another bland ol brekkie but was too tired to look around A nice indoor pool helped smooth the tiredness and the drinks and spring rolls with fried rice in the lobby was a nice touch. This hotel was very clean and well maintained. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Location was easy to get to. Breakfast had several selections to choose from. Hot food as well as cereal and pastries .

This property has been recently renovated, or is not very old, so the rooms are modern and fresh looking, as are the rest of the spaces. One thing was disturbing; the carpeting in all the hallways was filthy! Couldn't help but wonder about the carpet in the rooms, although it looked better than in the hallways. It's beyond me why they don't clean or replace that stained and filthy hallway carpeting! Staff was friendly, breakfast was fine, location near the Natchez Trace was what brought us here.

This Hotel is on the north side of Tupelo, seems to be fairly new. offers all the amenities, Continental Breakfast, Business Center, Free WiFi. Indoor Pool.Beautiful Decor, and friendly staff. The only complaint I can make is the parking spaces are not wide enough to open your doors without hitting the car next to you, which need that car is doing the same to your car. Needs to space the spot about 3 feet.

Everyone was nice, helpful and the the place was clean, It was close to attractions and dining. We actually walked to most places. We like the statue of Elvis. We liked that there was a security guard on grounds

Too much noise, doors slamming, overhead walking back & forth & next door shouting - we could not get to sleep. Dirty floors, beds made up just wrong or inside out. If you want to sleep avoid this place. This place had a lot of trucks, 18 wheelers, construction vehicles.

Clean, neat, modern and a friendly staff! Rooms very spacious with plenty of space to put luggage. Furniture comfortable. MW and fridge. 3 or 4 restaurants within walking distance. Wonderful breakfast included. Great value and less expensive than the dump we stayed in in St. Augustine.

My wife and I stayed in this hotel April 2, 2019 for one night while traveling back to our home. When we got on the road the next morning I noticed that I had forgotten my cell phone cord, kindle cord and adapter at the hotel. I called the hotel as soon as I noticed my error and spoke to a lady named Nancy. She said she would look for the items if I would call her back later. I did just that and she said she had found them and would send them to my home later that day. I have not received the cords or adapter to this day April 18, 2019. I have called Nancy twice since then and her story about sending the items to me has changed each time. I'm not pointing any fingers about where they went, but I feel this was the worst possible excuse for customer service I have ever encountered. If you choose to stay at this hotel, be sure you don't forget anything. You will never get it back!

The hostess that prepared the Complimentary Breakfast on April 15 did a fantastic job. She placed her personal touch on the eggs, the best sausage , and the biscuits, the best that I have had in a long time. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Everything good: location, ease of check-in, room, cooling system, bed, noise level (none). Kudos to Nanci at the front desk for being able to multitask. We skipped out on breakfast, so no review of it.

We only stayed for 1 night. Arrived around 1 AM, John (or Joe) was working the front desk. He was very friendly and helpful, as was everyone we saw at breakfast and checkout. The hotel was very clean and the beds super comfy!

We waited 4 hrs to get into our room because they were understaffed. Very nice building, but busy area and a little nervous about outside security. Breakfast was good and nice rooms, but pricey for only 7 hours of use.

They were very short handed the night of mine and my familes stay but the staff that was there was very friendly and working their hardest to help and get everything took care of. We did not get to check into our room until 7pm which I thougt we should have gotten some kind of reimbursement for, but we didnt. The inside poil area is very small and ir was very packed during our stay so my famoly and I didn't stay in there long and that was the main reason for our visit.

My stay at the Best Western Plus exceeded my expectations. They have a reception hour Monday through Thursday 5-7 and it is complimentary. The staff really does put their guest first. Definitely recommend this place.

The motel was clean and well maintained and the employees were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. They had snacks the night we were there but they did not offer much. Just a little cheese and crackers and some barbecued sausages. They did provide wine which was nice. I was disappointed in the quality of the sheets and bedding. The sheets were thin and what was used as a blanket was what other motels/hotels use as a duvet cover. It was not war, at all.

.. the room temperature was cool on arrival. We turned up the temperature and noticed only cool air coming out. I notified the desk that I needed a blanket. I walked to the desk and got a blanket . She followed me to the room and confirmed that it was indeed cool air . She thought that we might have moved the temperature setting to far and therefore it was not reacting. We took her suggestion and moved it to a more modest increase. She thought it would take some time but the room would warm. This was around 10:30 . We went to sleep and woke up around 3 am freezing. At that point we decided not to try to call and move. It was just to late in the night. We tried to go back to sleep but with little success. The next morning we saw the same lady at the desk. We told her about our horrible night of little sleep. She was very nice and offered to maybe give us some points. I ask for a free night and she said she would tell the general manager. She said the manager would call us . Of course I have not heard back . I actually then called the hotel and left my phone number but the manager never called...

We spent the night here so that I could keep an 8:30 appointment for a minor surgical procedure. The room was large, and it had a minifridge and a microwave. The bathroom had a large number of towels, and everything in the room seemed to function okay, although I couldn't figure out how to use the hair dryer. The breakfast spread was decent, although my wife noted the lack of cut fresh fruit. We were a bit surprised to see so many hotel employees smoking not far outside the front entrance. This is supposed to be a 100% nonsmoking hotel, which I suppose is technically true.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus in Tupelo, MS for two nights while visiting our daughter in the NICU. Our stay was excellent and exceedingly comfortable. The room and conplimentary breakfast was exquisite. Definitely worth the stay. 10 out of 10 would return.

Top rated hotel experience, lay out of the room is exceptional with the bed placement allowing a lot of room to navigate the rest of the room. Wish all Best Western hotels would implement this lay out of all their hotels.

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff wad very friendly and professional. The rooms were very clean. I appreciate the non-smoking policy. I've been to plenty of hotels that allow smoking and those hotels do not smell clean at all. Best Western Plus met my needs and I plan to stat again. Its worth every penny!

I called BW rewards customer service and was able to quickly get a great room at a good price. The customer service representative was very professional and provided all the information needed to check in. We really enjoyed the room and the amenities.

We usually stay at Drury, but we were tired from driving, and there weren't any of those nearby. So we thought we'd check out this Best Western. We have two older children and they were thrilled with the salt water pool! The beds were comfortable enough. Room was very clean! The full breakfast buffet was great, except that they ran out of sausage gravy by 8:15. But I guess the early bird gets the worm! The only complaint we had was that there was a lot of hallway noise and what sounded like kids jumping on beds above us and yelling back and forth late into the night. It seemed like there was no sound barrier whatsoever. Otherwise, our stay was great!

I would recommend this hotel to any type of traveler. The hotel was very clean and the decor was updated.. I did not experience any concerns what so ever.The staff were professional, friendly and efficient. The breakfast had many options.

We modified our driving vacation include a visti to Elvis' birthplace in Tupelo. We booked the new BW, blindly, solely based on it location near several popular restaurants. It was a very pleasant surprise. Nice lobby decor, friendly staff, very spacious and clean rooms... just steps from Chilis, Olive Garden &, 3-4 other very popular restaurants.

Stayed here September 2018. It was a very nice Best Western with large, clean rooms. The indoor pool was nice and the common areas were very clean. Breakfast was typical. We arrived late due to a trip and the staff was friendly and got us checked in quickly. Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast included waffles, eggs, bacon, cold and hot cereals, B&G, fruit, and yogurt. It was tasty and plentiful. I would definitely recommend and will stay again!

I have stayed here for several years and it has always been a great place to stay. I have even stayed here during a tornado with no power. During a freak snow storms that shut the whole town down and it has always has been great place to stay! The hotel is close to great dining and is located only minutes from downtown Tupelo.

I have to start by saying that I am perhaps a little biased, not just because I am a Best Western Rewards menber, and that it probavly is one of THE top rewards programs, but also because I stay quite frequently with them. The lobby is georgeous, and definitely enraptures you from the start. The staff are extremely helpful,friendly,and will do whatever they can to make sure that your stay is exactly the way you want. The hotel itself is very modern, with a very nice indoor pool. Very clean, neat, and stocked with all the towels and bedding you want, the rooms, especially the suites, are very comfortable and welcoming. Definitely a welcome respite from the daily grind. Great place to stay - very clean, room was large, conveniently located. Comfortable bed, good air conditioning. Pool is indoors so not great but small gym was good. Quiet and great for an overnight stay.

This is a great spot and the hotel has everything you need. The sights of Tupelo are easy to get to. Restaurants are close by (walking distance) Everything in working order. Staff is fantastic. Free breakfast. We will be back.

We brought a large group (NPC Total Body bodybuilding figure bikini) and they were able to accommodate us well. Refrigerators in every room. Clean & quiet even when sold out. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, coffee, etc Near MANY great places to eat. Chilis right next to ;)

I stayed at this hotel 5 years ago and it was truly beautiful. I was excited to stay somewhere familiar when my travels brought me back through Tupelo. I must say I was a little disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it is a decent place to stay but is showing signs of wear. My room needed a fresh coat of paint and a switch plate was missing. When I see things like that things go through my head that I really don't want to think about (exterminator) when I'm sleeping in a room that probably sees hundreds of people a year. It is still an ok place to stay but I have lost my enthusiasm about this hotel.

We were on our way to Gulf Shores from MO. This was about half way. We stopped in Cape for a family reunion 1st. So we got there late with 5 kids in tow. I set the reservation on line a few miles out, because it was cheaper than a hotel right on the highway, but was rated well. It was really nice. They took care of us and it was not directly on the highway, but worth the short drive to get there. Great breakfast, the kids loved it.

It was tidy and nice, friendly staff who had prepared our arrival, we appreciate it. Was welcomed as Best Western members. We stayed here on our way to Florida and decided that, on our way home, we would stay here again. They do it right. The front desk folks are kind, courteous and very helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We loved having breakfast before we hit the road. i think it says it all that we decided to stay here both ways. You will not be disappointed.

We were very pleased with our stay. We were offered drink specials and soup until 7pm upon check in. Very nice indoor pool with dolphin mosaics on the bottom. Good and plentiful breakfast options. I would highly recommend this place.

I thought it was a nice place and a good value. Modern, clean, good beds, large room, updated decor, no problems, good location, good breakfast. It was very busy so people are obviously good patrons of this hotel and probably for the price. It had a well lit parking lot and felt safe. We stayed at Americas best on another occasion and were pleased.

This is a very nice hotel with wonderful amenities for a very reasonable price. It is located right off of the main road that goes through Tupelo right by all of the main shopping centers. Rooms are plenty spacious and have a mini fridge, microwave, desk, separate seating area with a little table tray for eating on. Double closet with 2 full length mirrors. Always smells wonderful in the rooms! The indoor pool is gorgeous and I really love the fitness center.

This is a pretty good place to stay,room spacious with good counter space. Could use some repair -rug frayed and walls chipped. One annoying thing - the bathroom fan turns on automatically when you enter and there appears to be no way to just leave the light on at night without the fan on. Also - my room faced the front of the hotel - there were many trucks there with their air on all night making a great deal of noise.

A clean and comfortable hotel. Room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom vent fan did not work and would get very hot and uncomfortable during shower. Tried to take a nap mid afternoon, but house keeping personal were talking to each other on opposite ends of hallway. The managers reception was a bit lack luster ( visit an Embassy Suite).

I chose the Best Western Tupelo based on its high ratings on TripAdvisor. We had had a very pleasant stay at another local hotel and had no reason to choose a different hotel, but I took a chance when I saw the high ratings. Next time we will return to the other hotel. Here's why: - We had booked an accessible (handicapped) suite. It was at the very end of the second-floor hallway, a long walk from the elevator. For my relative who struggles to walk, this posed a problem. And why would a handicapped room be far from the elevator? - We were moved quickly and easily to another accessible room, this one on the first floor and close to the hotel entrance. That helped in terms of walking, and we were grateful. However, we still had to pay the suite rate, despite this being a room and not a suite. The cost was not significantly more, but we were offered nothing to offset the charges. - The hall carpets were FILTHY, visibly so. Another reviewer noticed the same. A good cleaning would not cost much, and would make a world of difference. - The room was clean enough, though the carpets were likely dirty too. I did not walk barefoot on them. - The bathroom floors were sticky, as another reviewer noted, and when I used a tissue to wipe up some spilled water off the floor, the tissue came back dirty. - The walls are paper thin. Situated across from the laundry area (for hotel linens, not guest laundry), our room was in line to hear all the staff conversations and laughter during the afternoon washing time. I am not criticizing the laughter aspect, but just saying that it was a noisy location that time of day. - Our room was adjoining, and the guests in that room were hard of hearing, requiring the TV to be turned up very loud. It was distracting at night, but when they turned it on at 4AM, it interrupted our sleep. Again - the paper-thin walls play into this. - We heard all of the flushing of the toilet above us. - The employees were adequate but not great, and certainly not "above and beyond." Most of the front-desk personnel were smokers who would take breaks outside periodically, at the front entrance. They were available when needed, but I did not find this very professional. Other employees would smoke in the front, also, while on break. - One front-desk employee acted indifferent when I said that our TV would not display the network channels (CBS, NBC, ABC). I didn't expect him to know the answer to what was wrong, but he did not send help, which impacted our TV viewing. - The breakfast was only so-so, but we were grateful that it was offered. Different people have different expectations of hotels, and perhaps these issues wouldn't bother some travelers. Please know that if thin walls and dirty carpets aren't your thing, you aren't going to love this hotel.

If you are driving through Tupelo, this is the hotel to stay at. This hotel is 5 stars. It is so clean and so pretty and the staff is so nice. Perfect for families with an indoor pool and large free Breakfast. Rooms are large and always very clean. I love the Elvis Memorabilia that decorated the lobby and the entire hotel. The front desk staff is always efficient and so helpful. This hotel stays busy with the tournaments in this busy town, but it is worth the Stay here. Always excellent.

This hotel is in a great location near restaurants and shopping, and the desk clerk that checked us in was professional and friendly. Those are the only positives I can think of. The hotel is dirty. First impressions are everything. When we stepped off the elevator onto the fourth floor, the carpets looked like they'd never been cleaned. I've honestly never seen such stained carpets in a hotel hallway. Seriously. Maybe it's because I don't stay at Best Western hotels. I don't know. Also, this hotel has ONE elevator. Four floors. One elevator. Hope you're not in a hurry. Walking into our room, it seemed clean enough. However, the tiled areas were sticky so we wore flip flops the entire time. It was nasty! The shower had tiny black hairs everywhere, and when my 8-year-old pulled the shower curtain back to shower, there was a dirty washcloth and hand towel hanging over the shower curtain rod. *gag* Housekeeping should check everywhere (literally up and down) when they clean the rooms. There were a lot of young people the night stayed. Doors slamming and running/yelling up and down the hall till at least 12:30 am. Also, it's on a busy highway so we heard motorcycles and such throughout the night. Not the hotels fault, but bring a sound machine or fan to drown out the noise. We left before breakfast was started so I can't speak to that. The pillows were flat. They were not comfortable at all. I would not recommend this hotel, nor will we return. We will stick with Marriott or Hilton in the future, even if it means driving a bit farther.

We were travelling from Kansas City to Charleston SC, and stopped at this hotel. Reasonable rate, clean room. Definitely would stay again. Worth an extra hour drive if it's on your way! Everyone was kind and courteous.

Second time staying here and it was just as perfect as the first time. Room was clean, big and roomy. The breakfast was delicious and many great choices! Happy hour was a great way to unwind! All the staff members from the front desk, housekeeping to kitchen staff were very friendly and fun! Delicious Rib Shack within walking distance!! Many other restaurants nearby. Will stay here again!

One of the nicest Best Western we have stayed in! They upgraded us to a junior suite. The bed was very comfortable. Even had hors d oeuvre and drinks that evening. The breakfast was very good. Clean, and well stocked.

There was a group of young people with a few letting doors slam at night. It was really tempting to do the same the next morning with all their do not disturb signs out. There was a small but terrible repair on the bathroom wall. The shower head was one of those that made you stand there for 10 minutes to rinse the soap out of your hair. But the thing that got me was I wiped the water off the floor after my shower and the floor was obviously filthy. But the 1 thing that absolutly made me score this hotel low is that when I got to the room the air was off. It was 83 degrees in the room. I didn't get there until 8PM so it took until about 3 in the morning to cool off. And because it had been so hot I had turned the air so low that when I did get up at 8 I was freezing in a pool of my own sweat! The bed was comfortable. It appeared safe. The breakfast was great. But the air conditioner being off and the floor being dirty made the score I gave!

Very clean and welcoming accommodations. Staff and management have done a great job in providing a great place to stay at a reasonable price. Near shopping and restaurants and easy to find. Having an indoor pool and outdoor pool makes it a perfect place to stay in all seasons. Would stay here again if in the area.

LOVED this Best Western Plus. I felt very much appreciated and was greeted each and every time that I walked through the door. The tea/coffee area was kept open and people encouraged to linger there if they so desired - which I did one evening while doing work with a cup of tea. The lobby and room were the cleanest that I encountered and I really enjoyed that the pool was clean and accessible during my stay. I was not afraid of the water quality and definitely took advantage. I'd stay here if I could afford it each time. Unfortunately, that is not always the case as they are a little pricey - but well worth it in terms of cleanliness, food and people in the lobby. Enjoy!

I was excited about staying in this hotel while visiting Tupelo for the first time. While the employees were extremely nice, I was displeased with my overall stay. The hotel is very nice and I LOVE what they have to offer. The location is good as well. The only downside (that I wish to publicly share) is the noise. I heard the cars and trucks passing all night, every time the elevator reached my floor, every time someone's door closed and the hotel staff. The bed was comfortable and my room was nice but if you're a light sleeper, this place may not be for you. I was repeatedly startled out of my sleep from slamming doors and people talking. What really prompted this review (rating) was that I went to breakfast around 6a, thinking I could come and get back in the bed, do late checkout at 12. NOOO- there was a man being SO LOUD and knocking so hard saying housekeeping before 9am! I mean yelling. Around 9:30 a lady came down the hall making so much noise (cart, the slamming doors, talking). She was with housekeeping as well. I guess you can't sleep past 8:30 here, cause you'll surely be woken up around that time. I was so mad because I was/am so tired. The noise will be why I won't return. It was like being in a dorm hall. The hotel was clean, nicely decorated, and staffed with friendly employees who consistently looked for ways to meet our needs. Our room was well-appointed, and everything was in working order. Several nice restaurants were nearby, so we were able to walk to them for dinner after enjoying the hotel's happy hour.

Stopped on our way north and it was a nice stay. The suite we had was comfortable and was nice to have a little extra room, the bathroom is tiny which makes it look like an ordered hotel that was updated. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were not. Breakfast was nice but nothing special. Again nice but average. Oh one negative, garbage is picked up at 5am and they are not quiet.

After not staying at Best Westerns for many years Best Western Plus are winning us over. We had a pleasant welcome, a nice room and a surprising Managers reception in the evening (wine/beer cheese and crackers). The hotel is withing walking distance to several restaurants. The breakfast was nothing special but ok. The staff was very pleasant.

We stayed here twice. Once in February and once in March. Both times we had room 118 - a king handicap room that was close to the lobby - perfect for us. The front desk clerks were very friendly and helpful at finding us the right room. One of our stays was during the week and they had an evening reception with drinks and snacks, this is not available on weekends. There are several restaurants close by. The only negative was on our first stay, as we were packing up housekeeping knocked on our several times to see if we had left yet. The second stay we left the do not disturb sign on the door until we were ready to leave.

Whenever I'm in Tupelo, MS, from now on I will ONLY stay at Best Western Plus! The level of quality and comfort can not be surpassed. This was, by far and away, the best hotel experience I have ever had.

We had a nice stay here for the night. The doors to the rooms slam when closing, you really needed to slam it to get it to shut, therefore, lots of slamming doors. The walls were pretty thin, the lady next door sneezed a lot. There was a large group of teens the night we were there, but the breakfast attendant kept up well.

Hotel was great until I got in the shower. There were 2 huge clumps of black hair on the floor. Super disgusting especially since this should be a premiere level of best western chains. Not impressed.

The people were extremely friendly. Lots of food nearby. In the evening they have a beer and wine reception with appetizers. Great perk. Breakfast was very good. The room was a great size and the amenities up to par. Would stay again if we travel this way again.

Not your ordinary stay. So pretty when you walk in - the people are dressed nicely and are so polite. Was not fond of the smoking by the employees out front but that is just me. THe rooms were very very clean and breakfast was very very good.

My husband and I stayed here one night while traveling through Tupelo heading home. We had stayed at the #1 rated hotel in town on our way through a few days earlier and decided to give #2 a try. We chose it based on it's convenient location for dining and based on its reviews here on TripAdvisor. First, location. It is a short drive off highway 45 and I-22, but so is everything else in Tupelo. Once in town, it is very conveniently located near numerous dining and shopping choices. We arrived tired and hungry at dinner time and opted just to walk to the Chili's next door. When we left in the morning, we grabbed a quick coffee from the Starbuck's just a few hundred yards away. Next, property condition and amenities...The hotel appears to be relatively new and in excellent condition. The lobby is nice and well decorated. We did not use it, but there is a nice indoor pool. The breakfast area is nicely decorated and inviting with an array of seating choices. Our room was in good repair and nicely appointed, with all the typical amenities - refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker with coffee and supplies, closet with spare pillows and blankets, hair dryer, couch, desk, extra chair with side table, lots of pillows, etc. The bed was very comfortable. They offer complimentary manager's reception in the evening with 2 complimentary drinks - beer and/or wine - along with “snacks.” We did not avail ourselves of this amenity, so I cannot offer further comment. They also offer complimentary breakfast in the morning with the standard self-serve fare. Next to the front desk, they have a small area with snacks and sundries available for purchase. Our brief interactions with the staff were pleasant. For those with disabilities, there are 2 or 3 accessible parking spots right near the front entrance. I am not sure if there are more at the end, as it was very cold and icy, so we did not explore outside. There is a hydraulic lift for the pool. Our accessible room was on the second floor, at the very end of the hallway, a bit of a walk from the elevator. It's location was a very convenient for using the washer/dryer or grabbing some ice or a soda. The tub/shower combo is a traditional/standard tub with lots of grab bars and a removable handheld shower head. There was no seating in the shower and I would not consider this bathroom appropriate for someone in a wheelchair or who has difficulty stepping into or safely standing in a tub. The toilet height was good and there was a grab bar on one side. There was plenty of room to move around the bathroom in a wheelchair and one could approach the vanity in a wheelchair, but I think the counter would be too high - though I cannot say for sure, since we did not have a wheelchair. The room was equipped with a hearing impaired doorbell. Now for where this hotel falls short, in my opinion. First, the noise. The walls are thin and we could hear people talking in the room next door, as well as the hallway. The room doors all slam (in fact, our would not lock unless it was shut pretty forcefully). Someone was nice enough to put what sounded like a pair of shoes in the conveniently located dryer I mentioned at 6 am and the racket was quite loud in our room. Second, the room was actually pretty dark despite having several lamps conveniently placed throughout the space. There were no overhead lights and the decor was in darker shades, which made the room dark. Third, the complimentary wifi signal is weak and spotty, so that we were only able to connect on 2 of 4 of our devices. The network would not even appear for the other 2 devices. Next, although the room appeared clean upon first impression, as we were packing up to leave and checking to make sure we had not forgotten anything, we found dirty tissues and papers on the floor behind/next to bedside tables. Finally, the complimentary breakfast was not to the same quality that other hotels offer. The orange juice looked and tasted artificial and watered down. The scrambled eggs were a greenish/yellowish color that kept me from trying them. There was a half rotten apple among the fruit - I mean the apple was half gone, rotted away. This was kind of the last straw for me in my decision. So, although this is a nice property and represents a pretty good value, I would rather spend an extra $10-20 and stay someplace with a little more attention to detail.

Nice hotel with lots of restaurants and shopping close by. They offer complimentary adult beverages and appetizers in the evening to the guest. Overall it was a great stay with great staff. When I travel alone I can always count on the service from Best Western.

The bed at this hotel was FABULOUS! We had been travelling and not sleeping well until we got to this hotel. The bed was the BEST! Even though the hotel is in a busy spot, it was quiet and relaxed. We would definitely stay there again when in Tup[eo.

The room was great, had a minor issue with one of the beds and they came in and fixed it right away! The pool was warm, comfortable and perfect for an evening of swimming. The lobby was very nice, breakfast was good, would definitely stay again! Also, the price was perfect!

Breakfast was good, rooms were clean, staff friendly, managers reception was nice every night. Fire alarm went off the second night we were there but that's beyond the hotel staff control. The doors slam shut to the rooms which got annoying in the middle of the night but other than that everything was great.

We had a very nice time at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and courteous. We had a short stay as we were traveling to see our daughter for Christmas but it was very pleasant. This was the second time we've stayed at this hotel.

This was my first time staying at this particular hotel. When making my reservation, I requested ground floor. When I arrived, my room was ready and they had honored my request for a ground floor room. The room was nicely decorated and immaculately clean. The hotel's location was perfect for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Will definitely stay at that location again when traveling to Tupelo and beyond.

I flew down from Maine to Tupelo, Mississippi to see to my Mother's funeral. My stay at Best Western was quite enjoyable. The Wifi was was quite fast and easy to connect. The breakfasts were very good. The biscuits and scrambled eggs and bacon in particular were just as I like them. I will certainly choose Best Western if I return to Tupelo.

We haven't been to a Best Wester in years and thought we would try it. It was a very enjoyable stay. The staff was friendly, the holiday decorations made us feel at home, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was fine (we are gluten free) and in a word - it was unexpected. Great value.

Stayed here on an overnight stop on the way to South Carolina. The Tupelo BW is one of the best. Very well taken care of both inside and out. The room was nicely appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Really good breakfast. Will definitely repeat when back this way. Recommended

I usually stay at best westerns and this hotel exceeded my expectations. Beautiful facility, super nice staff, good breakfast, clean updated room. There is an indoor pool that we really enjoyed. We would definitely stay her again.

We stopped in Tupelo to break up our trip along the Natchez Trace Parkway. Of the hotels along the main strip this was easily the best, although was pricier than I would have liked. However, the room was really big and very comfortable. Best thing was the receptionist, as we booked in, saying 'we're serving free glasses of wine'!!

Very nice, spacious, and clean rooms. Staff was very friendly and pleasant. Breakfast was hot and had a big selection to choice from. We will stay here in the future when we are traveling thru this way.

This property and staff are what one would expect from the best of Best Western. Have stayed here twice about a year apart and each stay was very well done. No problems, excellent service, good value well worth your consideration. I will return whenever my travels find me in the Tupelo area.

Took my Father-In-Law back (Retired Military Veteran) to Tupelo to revisit the place where he grew up. The hospitality of the BW was BEYOND EXPECTATIONS - the staff (namely, Nancy) took time to call & help secure a needed 2nd room to make the stay extaordinary!

This was a very good experience from start to finish. Reservation acknowledged and check in good. The décor and ambiance of the reception and breakfast area was very pleasant. The accommodations were excellent and comfortable. The nice touch of a Manager's Reception with complimentary drinks and snacks was Great!!! Front desk was great in accommodating us in making advance reservations for later in Michigan.

Best Western Plus has become my go-to place to stay when I travel. This one is no exception. Clean and cheery. Friendly, helpful staff. Yummy full breakfast and great coffee! Beds are great and pillows are wonderful! Can walk next door to Chili's, a BBQ place, or Olive Garden. Good parking. We were towing a trailer and there was plenty of room to park (the hotel was not full at the time). Would definitely stay here again.

Overall a nice quiet hotel. Breakfast was good. Our room wasn't clean...lots of dust and dirt in the corners of the floor and the bedside table. It was late when we checked in and just kept finding things that were not clean, but due to the late hour just tried to make the best of it and checked out the next morning.

We had spent 11 hrs on the road so we were exhausted. Had to wait, evidently they were experiencing some type of problem at the front desk. Room was large & clean. Bed, as usual for BW, was comfy. Water pressure was extremely low.

..needs more maintenance to become great. Various things need attended to. The water closet fixtures are in need of repair (room 419). Beds are very comfortable and the room was dark and quiet, if you know how to improve the shading.

As the title says we could not ask for a better place to stay. Amber, one of the managers, is the best. She goes out of her way to help. She is, in my opinion, what a person in her position should be like. Friendly, smiling, and wanting to help in any way possible. I don't give an "Excellent" often. Here it is well deserved.

Nice hotel. Clean room. Comfortable bed . Room was very quiet . Nice shower with grab bar. Unfortunately the toilet seat is lower. You get two free drinks, beer or wine, before 7 p.m. there's a nice rib restaurant across the street. My wife found a pair of black lacy underwear in the seat cushion. Unfortunately it would not fit. Only problem is the location of the hotel to Interstate 22. It is actually very physically close to the interstate but it is not close to the interstate exit. You must exit, Drive North for Mile or so, go west, and then drive South for a mile or so. Good breakfast. Standard offerings. Nice breakfast area with free US Today newspaper

This hotel is comfortable and quiet. The rooms were well air conditioned. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very clean. We received very good service. Love the southern hospitality. The hotel is within walking distance of several restaurants and it's located in a fairly central location within a 15 minute drive of most of the area attractions. Hot breakfast was a definite plus. We would definetly stay here again

This is a nice hotel but the route to the property from the highway is out of the way. There is no direct way. It is within walking distance to several restaurants and many others are within driving distance. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Check in and out was quick and easy. They offer plenty of free parking and complimentary wifi.

Wonderful staff, very helpful. This was a seven person motorcycle trip. The hotel provided secure covered parking for our bikes. It was a plus to have several restaurants within walking distance after riding 300 miles

A good comfortable bed, clean and useable bathroom, and good A/C. There is a small shop selling/g essentials and goodies. We purchased a dollar box of soap powder and used the hotel washing machine and dryer to freshen up some of our clothes, a great facility. Breakfast in the morning is basic but will set you up for the drive ahead, you can't expect more for these prices. Plenty of parking for free and the hotel is on an estate amongst several great eateries, so no need to go hunting or drive miles to eat. Amber on the front dest was super professional, helpful and a welcomed a couple of road weary Europeans with a beautiful smile and plenty of that warm southern charm.

We arrived here for just one nights stay on our way to Memphis. The bed was extremely comfortable but for some reason I was unable to turn off the air conditioning which made it quite a cold night. I suppose I should have asked but I was just too tired. The breakfast next morning was lovely, everything you could want. And if it wasn't there it wasn't too much trouble to find. I love my food and much prefer these buffets where you can just keep going up and helping yourself which I did. I would certainly recommend staying here.

Stay 2 nights at this location. Nice hotel, nice people. found bugs in my bed the second night and talked to night clerk. Never heard back from managers until I sent an email. Was told they would be back in touch - never contacted me. Next I am writing to the state health department. NOT ACCEPTABLE!

Hotel was clean and room was clean. Easy to check out. I made reservation thru CLC , but wasn't already checked in also asked for 1st floor and got put on top floor . I don't understand why CLC is always put on upper floors.

I was there with a large group to judge The NPC Total Body Championships. This was the first time for this hotel to host an event like this. They did GREAT! Amber was a fantastic example of personable and efficient customer service! She truly impressed me every time I spoke with her from check in to check out & in between. The free hot breakfast has either bacon or sausage, biscuits AND you MUST try May's secret family recipe for scrambled eggs. She is a SUPER person, great cook but she's not giving up that secret recipe. Guess I'll just have to come back often! There is a microwave, fridge & great selection of coffees & teas in every modern well appointed clean room. Very comfortable bed & very quiet. Air works great. No musty humid smell like so many places. No actual restaurant but you can get wine in the evening & a dozen great places to eat very nearby.

VERY VERY comfortable hotel. Great hotel front desk assistance at check in. We we were able to use our travel cards with no problems at all. Restaurants were within walking distance. Not exactly easy to find off highway but believe this will be corrected in the near future.

Overall the hotel was nice. It seemed maybe a little older but decent condition. The bathroom was slightly still dirty but not horrible. The breakfast is nice. The staff was very friendly. We didn't use the pool but it looked like it was in good condition.

We were very pleased with our stay at Best Western in Tupelo, Ms. It started with a friendly and helpful clerk as we checked in, and continued with great wine and snacks in the evening, then a wonderful bed to sleep in, and the next morning we were amazed as the two ladies in charge of the breakfast area kept things stocked and running smoothly even with 40 High School Swimmers eating at the same time we did!!! Great place to stay...we will take advantage of it again when we are in Tupelo

We were given a King suite upgrade because they ran out of regular Kings and we have used Rewards card for several years. Room was gorgeous, nice bed, but 4 dinky pillows on the bed & all they use in the hotel! While traveling in the deep south, don't ask any questions of staff on where ice machines are--we got a bum steer & sent on wild goose chase!! Not funny!!

I stayed at Best Western in June 2017 while visiting for a funeral. I was very pleased with the location. There were several restaurants and shopping areas within walking distance. My only complaint was the property only has one elevator. Several times when the elevator reached my floor the cleaning staff was already on it with their carts. I will stay at Best Western again when I am in the area.

In the area working. This is one of the better places to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, quite and comfortable. Lots of great places to eat in the area and some are within walking distance. I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here en route to Gulf Shores. The room could have been cleaner- the carpet was dirty and there were "remnants" of past guests left behind (hair, dirty sheets on the couchbed). The king suite was spacious and provided us plenty of room. They will provide baby cribs upon request- and they even have clean, soft bedding for it. The breakfast was decent, but the breakfast area was so full of baseball players that we didn't have a place to sit and eat. More tables (or less rude baseball families just sitting and talking after eating) would be good. I would recommend this hotel and probably would stay here again. The front desk staff was very pleasant.

This is a nice hotel with a friendly staff. The only complaint I have is having to wall through a plume of smoke to get in the front door due to staff members sitting on a bench by the front door at the smoking area.

A great place to stay! The staff was as sweet as Tupelo honey. They were outstanding and knowledgeable about the local attractions and events. They invited me to the manager's reception where I met other guests and learned more about the Natchez Trace Parkway.

Rooms are beautiful and clean. Rooms have single serve Keurigoffee Makers with "Donut Shop" coffee pods. Great! Staff very friendly and helpful. Also great location for restaurants and shopping. Will consider next time coming to Tupelo.

I am a "repeater" at this Best Western have been stopping here for the last 4 - 5 years, and it is always a great place to stay. Friendly, fun and a great breakfast service. For those of you who care -- they even have no-fat milk.

Our 1st stop here 2 years ago was a shot in the dark due to so many properties damaged due to the tornado. Wow what a great find, this place is really nice and well run. Nice people, clean rooms and the kids like the pool. What more could you ask for!

This hotel was a little higher than surrounding hotels, however, it is absolutely worth every penny! Very clean, wonderful staff and breakfast was nice as well! Definitely recommend if you are in the Tupelo area!!

We were in town for a wedding, and the hotel honored our request to have rooms near each other, assigning us to five rooms at the end of the hall next to and across from each other. It was great. We also used the lobby table for pizza and snacks, and they were so accommodating about this. It made for a wonderful family reunion--kids also loved the pool.

Stayed at this hotel while we were traveling the Natchez Trace Parkway. Clean and comfortable. Good breakfast and friendly staff. I didn't give 5 stars for 2 reasons. First, I was asked where I was headed and I was told to be specific because "passing through on the parkway" wasn't sufficient and second, when I asked a question about the Natchez Trace Parkway I was met with "I dont have any idea". My specific destination is my business and front desk staff should have better knowledge of the area. This is a training/owner failure. But this staff was very friendly.

Pretty new and so it was fine..pretty clean, although multiply stains on the walls in the room. Breakfast was disappointing. Front desk clerk was less than welcoming. Biggest issue was the noise,we were there on a Saturday night and apparently so was everybody else, though I know they still had rooms available at 6pm,. We must have been on a floor with a large group in multiple rooms who thought RUNNING thru the hall was a good time. Oh well.

We stayed for one night as we traveled home after a vacation in Florida. The hotel was easy to locate and surrounded by many good places to eat. The staff was friendly and helpful and the facilities were very good. We will be back as we travel through this area.

I had booked the luxury sweet and it was given to someone else and this I feel was racially motivated. The room I was given you could hear every single think that was going on from the elevator to people in the lobby talking.

I haven't stayed in a BW in a while, but this one was nice. Got the two room suite which was nice but I could hear some noise from hall which is a pet peeve. Neither TV in fitness center worked. Breakfast was average at best. I'd stay here again.

The service, as expected, is excellent. Staff is very responsive, and cordial. I stayed 3/29/17. Third floor room flawless. I stayed again 4/7/17. Room 203 appeared to have recently received maintenance. Microwave missing, and a missing desk chair. The maid and housekeeping supervisor immediately responded. Great amenities at the hotel. Location is perfect for access to food services, and major roads.

Best location in Tupelo. Several restaurants and a theater withing walking distance. Hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Kudos to Tonya in housekeeping. Enjoyed our stay and will be back again when visiting Tupelo.

We stayed here when he hotel was new and it was awesome. However, not that the hotel is a few years old, things are not at the same level as they used to be ( some of this can be expected I guess). So, I will list the bad and good as follows: Good- Location is close to many stores and restaurants Hotel is still newer and in decent shape Breakfast is decent Rate is decent Bad we had sheets with a few dirt spots Tub drained poorly hen showering Not enough seating for breakfast No hot coffee downstairs (it was cold) like other hotels of this service level Pillows were uncomfortable No extra blankets in the room I will not say the stay was miserable as were just staying one night on the way back from Florida. I would say to be aware of the pros and cons when booking a stay. The lower rate may or may not offset the cons depending on what you are looking for,,,

Best Western Plus has been a standby for times I need to be in the Tupelo, MS area. I have been pleased with the motel in the past. However, this time, I was not totally pleased. First, I walked up to check in a little before 5:00 P.M. and they were in the process of giving my reserved room to an unreserved, much younger, walk-in. The prices have increased, yet the afternoon snacks had only spinach dip and chips, really nothing suitable for children. Also, there is no water available without asking for it. We do not drink alcoholic nor bottled beverages. It would be nice if they would include bottled water as well as the alcoholic and carbonated drinks. This Best Western does have some very good employees. The lady doing breakfast is superb and a gentleman working the night shift was great. Our 6-year-old granddaughter vomited during the night. He was very courteous and helpful in getting us replacements linens, etc.

The only negative thing I have to say is that the computers did not work in the lobby area. Amber assisted me with what I needed so everything worked out in the end. Great place to stay and really nice to be able to walk to restaurants after being on the bike all day.

I am a frequent business traveler who appreciates good hotels anywhere. This hotel is among the best I've experienced in all of MS. It achieves my 3 "Bs" measure of comfort - good BED, good BATHROOM, and good BOTTOM (floor). Not sure if new vs renovated but very modern and inviting even from 1st entrance at front desk. I'm a frequent Hampton Inn guy b/c they're predictable; this hotel is as good as those including one Hampton nearby! Good parking, easy access off main road. Good Wi-Fi and business amenities. I must stay for me if/when I return for work or with family. Thanks for making me comfortable in Tupelo!

This is a clean, roomy hotel with friendly staff. Very convenient and easy to find. Great shower. Very good breakfast. Good rates. Plenty of parking. Helpful front desk. Breakfast room lady provided personal service and was proud of her dining room.

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice this Best Western is, especially for the price we paid. Lobby is decorated with Elvis and music memorabilia, very fitting for the area. Our room was nicely decorated, very clean, and comfortable. This is in a convenient location with restaurants and shopping nearby. Nice walking area outside, also. We will definitely stay here again should we pass through this area in the future.

My 4-night stay at Best Western Plus was very comfortable. This was my second stay at this hotel. I especially like that the location is so close to restaurants and shopping. The breakfast was very good with a lot of variety. Only complaint was that I had to visit the front desk twice to have my key reprogrammed, but that may be my fault since I kept it in my pocket with my car remote.

We were greeted at reception by a lovely young lady who made us feel most welcome. She explained where everything was in the hotel and also invited us to welcome drinks and nibbles at 5.30pm. Everything was clean and tidy.

This hotel is a few miles out of town but an easy drive. Room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The receptionist on check in was very friendly and helpful. Complimentary drinks at 5.30pm was a very nice surprise. There are a number of food outlets in the area so it is easy to grab a meal.

I am wondering why the obvious needed repairs to the bathroom fan and the sink drain have not been done? The repairs obviously have been needed for a long time .Other than the annoyance of the fan needing attention, the experience was good. It is the first time we have experienced a complementary cocktail hour.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Best Western in Tupelo. Great room-very clean and one of the best beds we've ever had at a hotel! Front desk staff was good-especially Matthew. Breakfast was average but the coffee was good. We would stay here again. Good to see Best Western stepping it up a bit!

We had a need to stay in Tupelo, MS overnight three times in the last few months. We chose Best Western Plus because of the location and reviews. The first two times we were very happy with everything. However, this time we had a couple of issues we were not happy about. First of all, our commode had tissue paper in it. Don't know if the cleaner just flushed and walked out leaving an incomplete flush, if it wasn't cleaned at all, or if someone entered and used it after it was cleaned. They moved us to another room. The second issue was about their evening refreshment time. My husband and I were out and wasn't there at all for it. Our daughter-in-law went about 6:15 to get something and they were out of everything or barely had anything except alcoholic beverages, which none of us drink. It was supposed to be until 7:00. The man working the kitchen told her that they were out and would not be putting anything else out. This was a direct contrast to what we had experienced there before. They previously had done all they could to make our stay enjoyable. However, double honor goes to the lady working breakfast. She did an outstanding job; was very helpful, efficient, and cheerful. I never hesitated to book Best Western Plus the 2nd and 3rd time because I was so happy with the treatment and service the first two times. However, after this disappointing visit, if the need arises to spend the night in Tupelo again, I must say that I will probably be looking at other motels unless this company does some customer service reparation.

Arrived very late but room was ready and waiting. Larger than normal room, comfortable beds and clean. Slept too late to eat breakfast there so can't review that. Better that normal A/C (quite). Nice seating area with comfortable chair.

I must admit I was weary about staying in a Best Western but this property turned out to be really nice. We stayed in room 420. It was quiet the entire stay, the room was nice and clean, and the staff was nice. Upon checking in, the front desk clerk gave us info (it was spoken really quickly but none the less, we got info). Our iron spewed brown liquid all over the shirt we were ironing which was a bummer but we worked it out. I did eventually go downstairs and ask Matthew for another iron and he stopped what he was doing to find me one right away. He was really nice and helpful. The breakfast was fine with the exception of the juice. It was VERY watered down so I just swallowed my breakfast with my saliva ??. All in all, the hotel was nice with several eating options near; as well as, shopping. I would recommend this property while staying in Tupelo, MS

Best Western Plus Tupelo is the top of the line. Not your typical ho-hum Best Western. Lobby, breakfast room, and most important the guest room is decorated beautifully. Beds were wonderful. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was very good and the lady working in the breakfast room was very efficient and friendly. Will definitely stay again if in Tupelo.

My husband booked the room (proudly, mind you as normally I am the one all things TripAdvisor) and did an excellent job. The Hotel appears brand new; although staff advised it was 5 years old. The room was amazing. We had the King mini suite and it is like a small efficiency apartment including a mini fridge; microwave and Keurig coffee maker. Truly made for a romantic getaway. We did not use but we noticed an indoor pool and a work out room. The breakfast was probably one of the nicer inclusive breakfasts we have experienced with a nice variety of hot and cold choices. You are walking distance to a couple restaurants and next to a mall. Almost everything you could want or need is nearby. Kudos to Best Western Plus on this Hotel. Truly will be back on our return visit list.

We had a one night stay here as we travelled the Natchez Trace Parkway from Natchez to Nashville. Room as ok with usual conveniences for US hotels – microwave and fridge but no safe (it appears that no safe is now the norm in US hotels which is a shame). Convenient location for restaurants nearby. Unfortunately we had a terrible night's sleep due to noise in the corridor outside our room until the early hours of the morning. This was added to by loud noise from the room next door also. Unable to get response from reception on phone. Breakfast was ok but quite busy. No English breakfast tea available which was strange as most US hotels have it. On checking out I noted the noise issue and that it had been a problem. The guy on reception said he could not do anything about it and the manager wasn't in yet but he would pass the message on and she would contact me later that day. Well 6 weeks on and no contact from the manager! I wish I had not paid the full amount but a bit difficult not to when there was nobody with authority there. Is this just a ploy about getting the manager to contact you I wonder so that you pay up and leave? Ok hotel but issues and total lack of customer care means that I would not recommend.

Very nice hotel, very friendly staff, very clean and comfortable, spacious rooms, nice showers, great breakfast buffet, everything was great. Can't say enough about the friendly staff, from the front desk, to the cleaning crew, and the young lady working at the continental breakfast, everyone was very friendly. Was next door to a few restaurants too. This was the nicest hotel we stayed at during our four week vacation!

Very clean, modern, and comfortable hotel convenient to restaurants and shopping. Our room was large and spacious, and had all the amenities we could want. Best of all, the price was very reasonable given the quality of the accommodations. Definitely recommend!

Very nice room with very comfortable bed. The shower is very tall and gives nice pressure. Found the room to be quite soundproof. The breakfast was typical. Waffles come out way too thick. Check-in was kind of slow. In a nice location. Can go jogging right outside the hotel around some business areas. The Hampton Inn was just down the road. It looked pretty nice.

Could not fault this hotel. Staff were great. We arrived early and the receptionist went the extra mile to put us in rooms that were ready, even though we were very happy to wait. Despite this we were accomodated. The only small point was that we had a heavy footed person above us that stomped around until 12:30pm. In this respect it may be prudent to have a room on the 4th floor (the top floor). Otherwise no problems. God breakfast, good small indoor pool.

We were pleasantly surprised to get into this hotel for a reasonable price without a reservation. We had a junior suite with a king bed. A full breakfast was included and the staff was friendly. There was an amazing rib place beside it as a bonus

The room was very nice. Hotel is located very close to restaurants and mall, but was not noisy at night. Breakfast was adequate -- several choices and stocked well. Staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again. Although we did not have time to use the pool or fitness center, they looked well-maintained.

Stayed here in October to go see the Bama game. It's an hour and half drive there by the way. What a great hotel, brand new, great décor, fantastic staff and free breakfast. Convenient location. Highly recommended!

Our overnight stay at BW Tupelo was the best kind - uneventful. We checked in, took a quick swim, slept, got a good breakfast, loaded the truck, and went on our way. The service was excellent. The facility was new, clean, and very nice. The breakfast was first rate. The hotel is in a good area and I was not concerned about security for my vehicle. I would recommend this hotel.

We spent one night in Tupelo as I didn't want to pay for an Oxford room during a home game. Now I know where I will be staying for EVERY home game - this place is amazing! Campus to hotel in 55 mins...no sweat. We were greeted by friendly staff that were tolerant of my teen daughters using the lobby as their selfie backdrop. GREAT room (all around - no complaints with beds, bath, HVAC, wifi). I typically only stay at Hamptons and they have nothing on this facility. My girls spent lots of time at the pool. I spent time reading (lobby was quiet). The staff even offered to put on coffee for me. Breakfast the next morning was great as well. I rarely go for "unhealthy" stuff - but splurged on the biscuits and gravy and it was restaurant quality (really!). There is no wonder this hotel is #1 in Tupelo. I like to think that anyone can improve, but finding any flaw is tough. This is how good the place is...after thinking for several minutes, the only flaw is the cheap plasticware at breakfast lol. A+ to the Tupelo Best Western! Keep up the great work!

Very nice hotel. Clean modern room. Breakfast was typical. Location was great for a variety of restaurants. Nice little happy hour for the guests. Friendly and helpful front desk. We will definitely stay here again on our way back through.

There's no need to over-think your accommodations in Tupelo. While it's a lovely town, there's a good chance you're only passing through and need a bed for the night. All of the budget hotel names are scattered along the interstate and most appear to be up-to-date versions of the chains they represent and would probably be a decent choice for an overnight stay. We chose BW Plus based some positive comments on Trip Advisor. The rooms were nice and clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful, from Taylor at the front desk to the lovely lady tending to the breakfast area the next morning. Indeed, this hotel tries to do a little more. There's a manager's reception in the afternoon, offering 2 glasses of wine or 2 beers per guest, a nice touch for the road weary. The complimentary continental breakfast features bacon, biscuits and… sawmill gravy! You don't see that everywhere. Finally, while there are several restaurant chains within easy walking distance, there's a rib shack adjacent to this hotel that give you a 10% discount if you're a BW guest. A couple of minor lows: due to either a cheap shower head or poor water pressure, the shower was weak. Also, it gets really noisy in the mornings as other guests check out. While you can't blame the hotel for inconsiderate guests who let their doors slam, you will hear those doors slam, loud and clear. There's also a bit of road noise from the highway.

We truly were very happy with our room and the convenience of this hotel for our trip to the Ole football game - just an hour and very easy drive from Oxford- near the mall and restaurants (walking distance to 7-8 places) free breakfast, very clean and well appointed. Newspaper at the door every morning. Friendly and helpful staff - front desk to room cleaning staff and breakfast cook! Thanks so much. Best Western is becoming my favorite go-to hotel for trips.

This location was good, good restaurance around it (espically the Thai Restaurant nearby). Room was average in size. Bathroom was good, shower excellent. Noise factor was a bit loud, but there were yhoung children from a soccer teams here, so kids will be kids. THey were having a good time so it was ok.

The service was great, the rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good too! It was quiet and restful. There is a BBQ place within walking distance that gave us a 10% discount and a free little plate off ribs because we stayed at Best Western. I would stay here again!

The room was very nice, lots of room, 2 queen size beds and lots of hot water. Nice T.V. and desk for lap top. Staff was very helpful and wonderful to work with. Breakfast was excellent with lot of items however, some of the food was cold not hot or warm..

Very pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel is. Stopped on our way from St. Louis to Destin. Rooms updated, great bed (as good as a Marriott) bathroom and coffee maker with plenty of individual coffee brew packs and tea. Free breakfast included eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravey, make your own waffles, and all the regular fruits, pastries, and cereals. Will probably stay again on our way home. Service was very friendly.

Very well run hotel. Great staff interaction and for the most part, quite rooms. Comfy bed. Breakfast was typical Continental Plus type fare and average. I went for a run in the area and it was nice, level course for just over 3 miles or about a strong 5K.

Stayed here for two days taking a break from driving the Trace. The staff are super helpful and friendly, the rooms are lovely and it's close to shopping, restaurants and the interstate. The breakfast buffet was good too.

We stayed one night at this motel as part of a summer road trip. The room was clean .. and service was excellent. The breakfasts at Best western are always a bit better than many other hotels we stay at.. and the breakfast did not disappoint here.. The hotel is very convenient to many restaurants..

This place is the best! The manager Alicia and front desk/housekeeper marlayna were fantastic. My room (416) was so clean, the beds were great! Love love love it! Wish they let you add 10 more stars! Great breakfast options! Speaking to the breakfast attendant I found out she has been there 4 years! She made the best eggs hands down! My only concern is how they expect people to leave on time with rooms that make you want to stay!!!! No wonder why this place has so many awards! Pat yourself on the back Alicia! Your team is fantastic! This is the way southern hospitality is and is supposed to be!

Great hotel for business. I was very surprised at the quality of the hotel. Very clean and new looking. Rooms are clean, great beds, and showers have great water pressure. In walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and a movie theater. Great choice in Tupelo.

We had traveled 630 miles on the 1st day of a 3000 mile motorcycle trip. This hotel has easy access, motorcycle friendly and walking distance to many restaurants Rooms were large, quiet and comfortable I highly recommend this Best Western if you are traveling to or thru Tupelo

We stopped here during our honeymoon. A good halfway stay on the Natchez trace. Good location in Tupelo right off the highway. Recently updated, clean, comfortable, and affordable. Offers AAA discount. Not mind blowing, but a good basic Hotel.

Beautiful hotel and room. Very warm and cozy. Extremely comfy bed!!! Friendly staff. First time staying at this hotel. Will definitely be at the top of our list for future trips. Could not have been more pleased. Also, love the fact that it is close to restaurants and some shopping. We just walked over. Very convenient location.

Stopped here on our way home. Upgraded to a suite for $20 more. Everyone was friendly! Pool was a little small and the room was very hot but didn't bother the kids. Rooms were very nice! Lots of choices for their free hot breakfast. Would stay again if in the area.

Best western has come a long way! We stopped on our way down to Florida and had problems finding a room for 5 without someone on the floor. After talking to the manager who suggested a king mini suite with a fold out couch and a roll away we booked. I wasn't expecting it to be half as nice as the hotel was. I was blown away. The rooms and property were immaculate. The bed was super comfortable and a lot of pillow choices. We enjoyed the hot breakfast. We are really considering stopping at the same place on the way home.

Very nice hotel for a quick stop. Room was clean and a good size(king suite). Had 4 of us in a room and plenty of space. Breakfast was good. Basic free hot breakfast, but they took the time to season the eggs and make very good gravy for the well buttered biscuits! Even my 10 &4 year old recognized the extra effort on the breakfast. Definitely enjoyed our stay.

Hotel room was clean, staff was very friendly and they have a portable crib which is a huge plus for us. Hotels are using pack/plays which are not the same and cannot be sanitized. Stay there and you won't be disappointed.

Everything was as it should be, better than average, clean, cocktail hour free, helpful staff, amenities were as expected, check in was easy, room was clean, hotel is older but they pay attention to detail which makes high ratings, lobby amenities were nice and clean

Pros.. With walking distance to many popular chain restaurants. Property was clean. Staff was kind and courteous. Salt water pool. Within walking distance to movie theater. Cons: Happy hour not offered. Small pool Depth of pool 3-4 feet No outside pool. The pool was not heated as advertised. Breakfast leaves much to be desired. Breakfast is over at 9 a.m. instead of 10 like other hotels in the area.

2 men outside drinking beer and smoking, I suggest they do that somewhere other than the front door! There was lots of foot traffic we could hear and caused going to sleep late, staff knew who we were when we walked in, had just made the reservation.

We have been temporal without a place to stay due to apartment problems. This hotel is like home. We are on a first name basis with the staff. The housekeeping crew is great. The front desk are very nice. Ms Mae in the breakfast is like a grandma to us. The manager ,Alicia , who seems to work all the time is available and has been a wonderful help. STAY HERE if you are in Tupelo. Someone commented about international guests. We've met guests from all over the states. We've met people from New Zealand, Germany, Austria, England , Scotland, Serbia , Isreal and more.

A very nice place for our one night stay, clean and quite . Close to walk to restaurants for dinner. It was our half way point to Gulf Shores for our family of 4. We had a nice variety for breakfast, which was pretty good for a hotel breakfast. Staff at front desk friendly. We were on our way next day. No complaints!

Stayed here a year ago and wasn't disappointed, and I'm happy to say the same this time. Called ahead to book. Arrived late, and check-in was quick and easy. Do yourselves a favor and book directly through the hotels. You can usually get a better deal, and most hotels that I know of will match the lowest outside offer. The room was very clean and large. Bed super comfy. Staff very friendly, breakfast hit the spot. I will return if I ever pass through Tupelo again.

This hotel is very clean and the front desk staff were really helpful. The hotel is central to Main Street Tupelo for gift shops and is not too far to visit Elvis Presely's childhood home. The hotel is located within walking distance of a number of restaurants and a short drive from a shopping mall. Breakfast was typical Best Western fare, but no complaints. A most enjoyable visit.

After 4 days, we are still dealing with billing issues (were billed twice for our stay). Have not been allowed to speak with a manager at the property. Spoke with 4 different desks clerks, all of which assured us the matter should be resolved that day. The clerk that we spoke with about this when checking out, assured us that she would speak with the manager and call us back and we never received a call back. Our stay was extremely noisy on Thursday night. There was a manager's reception that we were told nothing about, just happened to notice it when passing through the lobby. The cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful. Our second night stay was more quiet and enjoyable. Rooms are nice and clean. Our room was next to the elevator (contributing to the noise level) and the view from our window was the back of the awning over the front entrance. We called corporate about the billing issue and was told it should be resolved within 7 days. Still waiting for a return call from the property.

We stayed for the night while traveling home. The hotel staff were great, friendly, and accommodating. The facility was clean, comfortable, quite, great beds. The pillows were horrible. They were huge and as hard as a rock. Full hot breakfast was enjoyed by us all. There outdoor pool was great after a long hit day riding our motorcycle. Coffee available in room and lobby.

My husband had to travel to Tupelo, MS for a sleep study. My two grandchildren and I spent the night at Best Western Plus. I found all personnel to be very courteous and helpful. Had an afternoon snack of chips and salsa, plus beverages. Breakfast was also free. They had a pretty good selection of items for breakfast. Rooms were clean. Children enjoyed the pool and free internet. Price was a little above what one might expect from a Best Western, but this was not the old Best Western we had years ago. Location was great; it was a fairly short drive back and forth to sleep study, short distance from mall and walking distance of some restaurants. Would recommend.

Traveling with an infant, we chose the BW in Tupelo to rest after the first leg of our trip. Our room was nice, the hotel staff was super-friendly and helpful and the breakfast in the morning was decent and well-stocked. My daughters also really enjoyed swimming in the pool. We will definately stay here again next year while traveling to GS.

We stayed here as we were traveling to the Gulf, we had our 2 grands and my mother in law also. We got a double queen room, very comfy and clean. The staff is very nice, and the kids loved the pool, ( me too). The hot breakfast the next morning was WONDERFUL. Biscuits and gravy, waffles, eggs, cereal, muffins and donuts, coffee....yes please! We will definitely be back.

My husband and I always find this hotel friendly and the staff attentive. We've stayed here at least four times, I think. I have recommended it highly to any friends who are traveling in this area. Not this time but on a previous stay, the clerk noticed that I had enough points for a free room.

I've stayed here with my husband and children several time and have always been pleased. The facilities are always clean, the beds comfortable and at bedtime, it's quiet even though it's located by a busy shopping area and located on a main highway. It has a modest gym and decent swimming pool. Overall, a nice place to stay for a few days.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. I think that Best western is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to stay. I think for the most part it is a very nice place in every town you come to but on occasion I will come across one that isn't as nice as the others. I like the Best Western chains and I think they are striving for great service and quality hotels.

This is a great hotel, good price, very clean, very nice stay. The rooms are nice, the beds were soft. The kids enjoyed swimming in the pool. It was an overall great place to stay we'd definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, clean place to stay that doesn't cost too much.

Slightly further from the centre of Tupelo than we expected, but we have found this is often the case in the U.S.,however this was a very fine hotel with excellent rooms and a huge comfy bed. Friendly staff. The complimentary breakfast was good, but not quite up to the standard of our earlier BW hotel in New Orleans. My wife was more than happy with the indoor pool.

Check in was quick and easy.Clerk was friendly and efficient. The room was small but clean there were enough outlets for our electronics.The bath was clean and we'll stocked except for shampoo. Breakfast was good but one toaster kept burning the toast. This hotel seemed to be fairly new but only had one elevator. I would stay there again

The hotel was very new and clean. I work at an award winning Best Western and this hotel was one I will visit again. The room was large and clean and breakfast was great as well! The front desk clerk did say our room number out loud though which is a no-no in the hotel industry but I give the hotel 5 stars.

The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly. Plenty of light in the bathroom and the extra mirror for makeup was a big plus. I do believe that Best Western has the best beds of any hotel chain. I would stay here again and again

We stopped here on our way to Florida and were so impressed we stopped again on our way back home. The saltwater pool was refreshing and relaxing after a long car drive. Our room was spotless, and the Internet at the hotel is absolutely amazing! Our kids were able to download movies on their tablets in 5 minutes! The staff were all friendly and welcoming, and the evening reception was great!

I was very pleased with my stay and am booked there for my return trip. As for this review, it seems just a bit silly to have to scroll down through just about every country in the world to be able to enter "United States", fifteen places up from the very bottom. Get many guests from Burundi or Tuvalu?

Great staff very friendly and helpful check in was quick and when we need to extend our stay another night there was no problem. Rooms were clean beds comfortable and good breakfast eggs, meat, cereal, yogurt, muffins, waffles coffee and juices.

Went back on our Natchez Trace trip coming back stayed at the Best Western Plus. They were the best got a nice room for under A hundred new the attitude s of bikers would recommend it highly! Plan to go back again easy to find off Trace.

From the Natchez Trace Parkway Information Centre, we found the Best Western Plus in Tupolo MS without difficulty. Check in was speedy and courteous and we were offered a choice of rooms (we decided upon Room 119 on the ground floor). The room was spotless and the two queen beds were comfortable. The free wi-fi was speedy and worked without any problems. There was a small, well-equipped exercise room although we did not use it. Betwen 5.30 p.m. and 7.0 p.m. (Mondays to Thursdays) the hotel offers two free drinks (wine, beers and soft drinks) and snacks to its guests which was unexpected but most welcome. Breakfast was a fairly standard offering with a hot food option. My wife and I can recommend the rib shack restaurant opposite the hotel - the restaurant (which has great ribs and pulled pork) also gives a 10% discount for Best Western guests. Our short, overnight stay was problem-free and this Best Western hotel certainly lives up to its Plus status.

Stayed one night on our way to Gulf Shores, very clean and the indoor pool was definitely a plus. Had a nice selection of breakfast goodies! Would stay there again if ever in the area. Also made a quick trip to see where Elvis Presley was born, it was about a 12 minute drive

Very friendly front desk staff. Clean comfortable lobby and sitting area. Great breakfast. Make your own waffles, biscuits, gravy, bacon, eggs. The rooms nice and spacious. The beds were comfortable. Very clean and nice cold AC. They didn't have shampoo. But not a biggie. Nice indoor pool area and small sundry shop for snacks and incidentals. Everything about the hotel was wonderful and I would have given 5 stars except for a couple of housekeeping issues. One. They threw away a small decorative serving dish I had left on the counter. And the 2nd incident was as we were trying to finish packing up our clothing and bags the housekeeping ladies didn't seem to care we were still in the room they were bound and determined to get our dirty sheets, blankets towels and trash while we were still in the room trying to get our bags together so we could check out. Very unprofessional and this was 30 min. Before check out time but was told by housekeeping ladies the sheets needed to get washed. No apology was given. Didn't matter what we who had paid for the room were doing. Same thing happened our friends room next door.

We were traveling to Arizona and stayed the night here. The King suite was very comfortable, clean and quiet. We used the Fitness Center which had a variety machines as well as free weights to use. Breakfast was the basic fare, but it all was good. Would definitely stay here again!

One of the better Best Westerns we have ever stayed. The best staff. Very clean room, comfortable beds, not a bad breakfast. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Very convienient and well kept up.

I was traveling back with from the beach in Florida alone with 2 small children. I booked a room last minute via Priceline. So glad I found this place.Even thought I booked last minute-they already had the crib I requested already in our room. Very nice property, charming lobby area,indoor heated salt water pool, comfy, up to date rooms, good breakfast & most of all helpful and professional staff.

Hotel was fine but the pillows were terrible. Could not sleep so I had to use a throw pillow from the chair in the room to sleep on. I travel weekly for business (for over 20 years) and have stayed at many different brand of hotels so lots of experience and have never stayed somewhere with pillows that were not comfortable enough to sleep on. I would recommend staying somewhere else. There are plenty of nice hotels in Tupelo to chose from.

It's location is away from downtown Tupelo, but near some chain restaurants and stores. It was clean and quiet. The breakfast was the typical one offered by motels. Woody' s Restayrant is on the same road not too far away.

Great hotel, breakfast is as good as any, very clean rooms and staff was as helpful and friendly as anyone could ask although the indoor pool may get a little crowded when busy because its small I would still recommend this hotel to anyone on whatever kinda trip you may need a room

We stayed in a double queen room and it was very clean and we loved that there was a fridge and microwave. The staff was was very friendly and the lobby was pretty. The saltwater pool looked clean and inviting but we didn't use it. The breakfast was decent. The location was great-right next to chain restaurants and outlet shops.

We stayed here while participating in the Tupelo a Film Festival. Both the hotel and the festival are stars in my book. The staff was so friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious, and the room was comfy and very clean. We will definitely be back!

We stayed in a one-room King Suite for one night. I found the cleanliness to be excellent, the amenities to be exactly as stated, the staff to be friendly and helpful, and the overall value of the stay to be outstanding. This hotel is very conveniently located to Tupelo's main highways as well as shopping and dining options.

I always enjoy my stay here with delightful staff. I have stayed here a number of times over the past couple of years and they go out of their way to make me welcome. I have had early check ins when available etc....

Everything was great! Staff was so friendly and rooms were very clean. The bed was very comfortable. I would stay here again. The only complaint would be the internet service. I had trouble getting connect with my laptop. Once I did, my computer would only stay connected for a minute. Very disappointed with the internet service there.

This is our second stay at this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean, and our bed was very comfortable. The linens are nice and soft. The breakfast was nicely presented offering a good variety of hot and cold items, as well as breads and pastries. We traveled with 2 U-Haul trucks on this trip and found adequate parking to park both trucks in the hotel lot while still leaving plenty of space for other guests. We will look forward to staying here on our next trip through Tupelo.

This is a very good hotel for the money. Good layout and nice bed. Room was great except that housekeeping forgot to vacuum the carpet. Otherwise spotless. Very nice breakfast. Staff was very accommodating when I asked for a room further from the elevator. Lots of chain restaurants nearby.

Found this hotel as the top listing on trip advisor. We arrived around 3am and checked out by 10am. Beautiful hotel, very clean, excellent room. Very impressed with room and friendly service. Wish we could have enjoyed the pool but overall a great stay and would go back!

Very nice hotel except for the super firm mattresses. Worst night I've had in a while. I finally gathered up all the pillows and laid them over the mattress and tried to sleep on them. Even my husband, who can sleep on anything, had back pains the next day. I've never had anything other than a very comfy mattress at a Best Western Plus. Will not be back here - ever. The mattress is everything for us.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was very clean and affordable. The pool area experienced a shortage of towels, but the front desk lady seemed to be by herself on a busy evening. The free breakfast was OK and provided a wide range of food options. There were a number of food and shopping options nearby within walking distance. We heard a ton of noise from the room above us, but that was really not the hotel's fault (but you definitely hear those around you)! We would stay here again if passing through Tupelo, MS.

We stay here each time we go through Tupelo (more times than I can count). Excellent service and clean rooms and appearance of hotel. I even like the breakfast which is your normal hotel fair but always fresh and refilled ahead of any item running out. Never a problem with any part of the hotel being clean- is always in excellent condition.

Wow. New and clean. Staff very friendly. Great breakfast. And evening drinks and apps. Family friendly clean pool. Walk to food and some shopping to kill time. Will come back. Quiet at night. If you want to explore Tupelo, Elvis stay here.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much just because of how much the room was but when we checked in I was floored. Courteous staff. The room was nice, beds were comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was really good. I would definitely stay again.

I was impressed with this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a great location, close to a lot. The price was reasonable! The breakfast menu was just ok and only having one elevator was a little inconvenient but not enough to keep me from staying. I would gladly stay at this hotel again.

We stay here because the hotel is relatively new and well maintained. Staff is always helpful. Our only irritation involved having no one at the front desk for about fifteen minutes while we waited to check out at about 8:40am.

This hotel appears to be brand new. It was beautifully decorated in the lobby, breakfast area and in our room. The color schemes are very modern. Breakfast was quite sufficient with meat, eggs, waffles, pastries, fresh fruit, etc. Bed was VERY comfortable with excellent linens.

The front desk and breakfast staff are awesome. Everyone here was very friendly. The breakfast staff although it was the usual items for breakfast... eggs ,bacon, waffle ect. Took a genuine interest in the guest comfort.

We enjoyed our short stay in Tupelo at Best Western - the room was more the size of a junior suite than a standard hotel room - it was more than we needed for overnight, but would be a great place to stay for an extended period, as it also had a microwave and a refrigerator. I would definitely stay there again!

Great location, clean comfortable rooms, and great price. This hotel is in the middle of everything. The birthplace of Elvis was only about 2 or 3 miles from the hotel. The mall is right down the road. GREAT GREAT place to stay.

One of the best Hotels we've stayed in. Very Clean, quiet, bed was so comfortable nice and firm, had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was good as hotel breakfast go. If you like bbq the place behind the hotel is wonderful! Have the ribs.

Every thing was good, no problems at all the only thing that I could think of the shower head in the shower need some attention. Every one at this hotel was very helpful on any questions that or issues that was asked them.

Service was excellent, Handicap room was exceptional, lots of room, They support wheelchair bound people. Located near restaurant facilities and a major mall. Breakfast was very good and the area had been recently remodeled.

Very reasonable for a lovely hotel. Spacious rooms with interesting decor. Staff on check-in were very friendly. they suggested places to eat and offer a selection of room for us. The usual decent interest net service and a good breakfast the nest moring.

We stay here whenever traveling through Tupelo. The staff is wonderful, the beds are comfy, rooms are clean, and Olive Garden and Chili's are within walking distance. There's also shopping and a movie theater nearby. The hotel offers a good breakfast, with several options, hot and cold.

This BW Hotel is one of the best we've ever stayed in including all brands. Very nice decor inside and out, very clean everywhere, extremely comfortable bed and pillows, frig & microwave, courteous and welcoming Staff ready and delighted to help as needed/wanted, usual b'fast offerings with nicely seasoned scrambled eggs - a restful comfortable end to a long day! And lots of familiar restaurants plus a local and delicious Rib Shack!

All the employees were very nice and helpful. Breakfast is the normal and the evening reception was nice. Lots of places to eat close by. Easy on and off rooms were clean and quiet. Pool was heated, clean area. Fitness ctr was clean would stay here again.

This place is very clean and didn't have an odor to it, other than a pleasant, fresh fragrance. I can't tell you how many other places we have stayed at in the past where we were overcome by the "odors" of the place. YUK!! The staff here was very friendly and accommodating. Also, the decor of this hotel was very pleasing to the eye. I definitely will stay here again.

Very clean and very nice front desk person. This was a very quiet area. Will stay here again when we are in the area. The Chili's next door had poor service and a very dirty kitchen. Don't eat there. Food was OK, but table behind complained their food was cold. Had a feeling they were low on staff.

Our favorite place to stay are Best Westerns and this one did not disappoint us. Room had plenty of space and was very clean. Comfortable beds, good TV, plenty of towels and a very good free breakfast in the morning. And a staff that SMILED!

Great value and pleasant place! Desk clerk was professional and friendly. Check-in was fast. Room was well presented and inviting - very clean. Breakfast was set up very well and had a good variety. Location was very near many restaurants and shopping. Easy access to the highway.

We return to this hotel every year going south in January and going north in March. We have consistent good experience and therefore return. A small glitch in being assigned a room in an area that we did not want was quickly corrected to our total satisfaction.

One of the best hotel stays I've ever had. Beautiful property, stairwells designed to be used (well lit and carpeted, instead of grimy bare concrete). Everyone was pleasant and professional and the room was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again, and have already recommended this hotel to friends and family.

Nice hotel. Had been on the road for 13 hours so was a welcome retreat. In the midst of lots of restaurants. Very quiet for sleeping, comfortable bed and breakfast was large and very good. Would stay again.

I was so impressed with this hotel! The staff was friendly and professional! The staff showed concern about whether you needed anything. The room was absolutely great! It was clean, very well decorated and very roomy. The breakfast was very good! There was a great selection and the quality of the food was very good. I will definitely be staying here again!

Enjoyed our 1-night stay here as a stopover along the drive home from Memphis to Atlanta. The staff were friendly and helpful at check-in and check-out. Rooms were clean and comfortable, no complaints. The breakfast was included and was a good assortment of food: bagels, toast, cereals, fruit, yogurt, coffee and tea, eggs, bacon and biscuits, and even waffles. Convenient dining options nearby, including a few within walking distance. Free parking available on-site. Would happily recommend this place to others.
