« Great location for airports »

Well appointed, efficient hotel. Staff speaks pretty decent English. Rooms adequate, considering that space is precious in Tokyo. Available in hotel dining if we wanted it. Great restaurants and grocery stores in the area, specially on the north end of the block. Very convenient to the train station, and a direct express bus to Haneda Airport just one stop east of Nishikasai (at the Kasai stop on the Tozai line).

« OVERRATED. NO AIR CONDITIONING BECAUSE OF "SEASON" »

Has one the best price around Edogawa and near train station but has limited access to the said 'amenities' -- bus ride back and forth to DisneyLand/DisneySea is a 50-50 and I was not informed that there will be no air conditioning in all 5 rooms that we get. Don't go here if you have asthma and can resist an uncontrollable room temperature. FYI, they open the heater -- for the season - with real time room temp of 26°c.

« Inconvenient Location, TINY rooms »

I was really disappointed with this hotel. The staff were VERY nice, but that was the only good thing about staying here. For one thing - the location is NOT convenient for Disneyland unless you are willing to take a taxi for about $40. For public transit, you have to take a bus (or taxi) to one station, and then get on the train to Disney, and then take the tram from there to the park. It's A LOT of hassle, just as much as if you were just coming straight from Tokyo. There IS a shuttle from the hotel, but only a few seats on it and you need to book it in advance and you can only really take it in the morning since it makes 1 run only at night around 5. So it's not really helpful. The room was a closet. Truly, the smallest room I've ever stayed in. No closet, wardrobe, dresser, just a bed in a room and a bathroom that was the size of an airplane bathroom. We chose this because staying in one of the Disney hotels was too expensive, and we thought it would be more convenient than staying in Tokyo - but it was a mistake. We should have just stayed in Tokyo and done a day trip. It took just as much time to get the park with public transit from this hotel as it would have from Shinagawa station.

« Close to Disneyland and Disney Sea with free delivery to and from »

good location just 5 min walk from Nishikasai train station while close to shops and restaurants if you like to ride bicycle, you can rent bicycle for just yen 200 per day from bicycle parking located underground of Nishikasai train station hotel provides free delivery to Disneyland and Disney Sea which take about 30 min

« Good value for money »

Excellent location, 2 or 3min walking to the metro station. A nice hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are not spacious, but then again we have to remember we are in Tokyo. For Disney lovers, it has a free shuttle bus to Disney.

« Small and not your usual BW »

The room is extremely small, smaller than the usual Japan standard for small. It's is the same micro-size room similar to Best Western Yokohama but the furnishing are newer and more modern looking. I did not experience noise issue even though the hotel is very close to a train station, probably due to better build and better sound insulation, That said, the crazy digital signage tablet in the room would not stay off and repeatedly wakes up and glow brightly in the middle of the night. Since the room is very tiny, the tablet screen was enough to lit up the entire room. My sleep was disrupted multiple times and very extremely irritating. My room, supposedly non-smoking, had a definite smell of smoke. Wireless Internet is also spotty... Since I have had negative experiences with both of the Best Westerns in around Tokyo, I will most likely avoid this chain in Japan unless all other hotels are sold out.

« Purely residential area around. »

It's not at the heart of Tokyo but transportation was very easy. Surrounding was purely residential area which's totally different with all those hot places for tourist. Cosy room with everything you need. Very reasonable price which's give you a good reason to stay away from the crowded.

« Poor Service of Free shuttle to Disney Resort »

We select this hotel since they offered free shuttle to Disney Resort - which is only 15 minutes drive from the hotel. Unfortunately, we were not informed that we shall book the shuttle at the earliest, and the hotel staff told us that the shuttle is not available, and suggested us to take a public bus and train to reach Disney Resort! After long arguing with the staff and the hotel manager (via phone), finally they provide us (8 persons) a shuttle with another later schedule. It was a very uncomfortable experience!

« Great location, clean rooms »

Easy to find location near subway station . Great location for going to other neighborhoods in Tokyo. A lot of restaurants and shopping nearby. The staff are all very helpful and welcoming! Rooms are regular size for Japan - ie = small by American standards but are clean and tidy.

    « Could have been a 4 stars rating. »

We stayed here for 6 nights/7days (June 26-July 2nd, 2016). I particularly love the location of this hotel. Very close, walking distance to lots of shops, restaurants, bus and subway train station. The room was not as small as most people reviewed it. It's a decent size, have enough room for 2 adults and 1 child. Our room have 1 full size bed and a sofa, small fridge, flat screen TV, a tablet and most importantly, a strong wifi connectivity. Bathroom was fully equipped with deep bath tub for soaking (after a long day at Disneyland, this was a welcomed feature), hot water and bidet. They provide daily toiletries as well. Pretty much a comfortable room over all. The hotel itself including our room) was clean, well lit, well staff and well organized. They have ice machine, microwave, vending machine and laundry room in 2nd floor (300y or $3us, 100y for 30mins dryer). There's vending machine on all floors. Staffs are all friendly and appears to be willing to help esp Uzami. They do try. Unfortunately, due to the language barrier, there's always a misunderstanding. Communication is very bad here, poor in all aspects. I booked at this hotel mainly because they stated on their website that they provide shuttle bus transportation to and from Disneyland and Disyney Sea. Well, yes, they do provide a drop off in the morning. The drop off was perfect, their shuttle bus brought us directly inside Disneyland parking lot, it was hassle free, for sure. But the pick up was truly not what I expected. It was hell going back to our hotel. After an exhausting day at Disneyland, we were looking forward to get on the bus then back to the hotel hassle free like that morning dropped off but instead we had to walk a good 5-10mins to a train station! The shuttle bus awaits us on the next stop. And because of the said misunderstanding, the bus did not wait for us! In short, we had to hop on a train with 1 transfer for another 45minutes. We returned to our hotel that night dead tired and almost 2 hours later. The hotel could not give us direction on how to get to the hotel from Disneyland by train so we had to fend for our self, asking strangers and using our phone map directions. I must admit our little boy was a trooper, he was very tired as we all were but he simply sucked it up. We spent an estimated $17 for one way train ride back from Disneyland to our hotel. We complained but didn't get anything but a nonchalant apology. For our next day visit to Disney Sea, we found out that it cost $30 taxi ride from hotel to Disney Sea. They could have told us that when we called them that night from Disneyland! It would have saved us the aggravation! Needless to say, we took a taxi on the way back to our hotel from Disney Sea. They also directed us to take the subway station to go to Tokyo Sea on our fourth day, which would take us longer time 9with multiple train transfer) and costly. A stranger told us that there's a bus station close by; cheaper and quicker route (no transfer) than train. Overall, it's a 3 stars rating for me. Had the shuttle bus to Disneyland Park be as describe in their website, I would rate this hotel a 4 stars. I wish I read the reviews here before I booked. Their description is a bit incomplete, even misleading. I don't blame the negative reviews here base on that. Would I stay here again? Probably but will not depend on them for Disney transportation or directions.

    « Bad customer service »

i traveled in a group of about 16 people. we arrived a bit early and requested was an early check in which was declined by the rude reception staff. we also requested for at least two rooms to settle in pending when all our rooms were ready, this was also declined until we insisted on speaking to a manager. eventually we were given 2 rooms. the rooms are very small, my room was like a cubicle, there was practically no space. toilet also very small. break fast was just ok.

« Nice hotel with bad representatives..... »

Very good and clean hotel and I really appreciate their breakfast . Upon approaching the front desk ,we had some problem with our booking and customer service was really horrible whom he deserves to get demerits . We never got the Disneyland shuttle bus as we didn't know we had to book when we were at HongKong a month ago . Overall the stay was pleasant except the bad customer service at the front desk .

« HORRIBLE, almost ruined my Disneyland trip... Never booking here again »

FREE SHUTTLE IS A LIE! THEY PICK UP 1 TRAIN STATION AWAY FROM DISNEYLAND AND DROP OFF FAR FROM THE ENTRANCE: IN OTHER WORDS, YOU ARE LITERALLY SPENDING THE SAME TIME AND MONEY AS YOU WOULD IF YOU HAD TO GET THERE AND BACK ON YOUR OWN! IN ADDITION, IT ONLY RUNS 2 TIMES A DAY. LIARS. We came here on the last 4 days of our trip and it was utterly disappointing. 1. Hotel staff were extremely rude-- they talked about my family as we checked in because we questioned them about shuttle service (mentioned next) in Japanese since we spoke English to them, but some of us do understand Japanese and were very surprised about what happened. 2. Shuttle is a LIE! Only 4 times a day (2 there and 2 back). Shuttle space is very limited, if you don't reserve a spot beforehand, sorry, you'll have to pay and take the train yourself. Also, the times for the shuttle are 7:30/8:30 and 21:30/22:30. the shuttle meeting point is at he train station that is NOT at Maihama (LOL), so you have to actually buy a monorail ticket and take the train to get to the train station instead of getting picked up directly at the park. 3. Rooms are poorly-maintained (chipped paint all over the walls) and extremely tiny. Hallways are dark. In summary; 1. Poor service; 2. Useless Shuttle; 3. Bad rooms You pay for what you get? No, this hotel was by no means worth it. I did not pay ~400USD for 4 nights to have poor service, take the train on my own, and live in poorly maintained rooms. Sorry for the aggression, I hope you don't make the same mistake as I did. I'm writing this as I lay on the tiny bed staring at the dirty ceiling drowned in disappointment. Never. Coming. Again.

« Good location, poor service »

Good: Location is close to the Nishi Kasai station. Convenience store (including a 24 hr shop) close by. Points of improvement: Quite rude and unhelpful staff. Tiny tiny rooms (not sure they can do anything about the rooms). Case in point: I booked this hotel as they have a Disney drop and pick-up. I had emailed the request but this was turned down when we were checking-in. Reason: We don't accept email requests. Tried again the next morning and another receptionist said there is space, just about, for my family for the pick-up. We reach the pick-up bus and there were hardly 7 of us (and remaining seats were empty)!!! This is just one example, which I would bring down to the two at the reception whom we met. The other two (morning staff) were more helpful with information.

    « Unfriendly staff »

We stayed for 3 nights at Hotel Best Western. Positives- great location, close to station and Disneyland. Nice hotels for vegetarians close by. Negatives- rooms very small, totally unfriendly staff( I had a request for a bowl to microwave food for my kid who has food allergies and the receptionist refused to help)

« Great location , Value for money »

Great location 3 mins walk from station. Many restaurant around hotel. I got corner room. Quite big room with 2 beds. Air Purifier in my room. Ice dispenser on 2nd floor. Free shuttle bus to disneyland. Friendly staff.

« Very good value for money! »

Chose this hotel as it was pretty central - just a 2 min walk to the Nishi-Kasai station (get the Tokyo Metro Tozai line to/from Tokyo!) and plenty of restaurants & stores nearby (ask at reception for a local map). Was made to feel very welcome when I arrived here - the staff didn't speak the best English, but were very friendly and helpful. Big selection of Western & Japanese food to choose from at the breakfast buffet, which was included in the booking. The room was a bit on the small side (single room), but for 1 person it was OK. Both the bathroom and the room itself were very clean - good view from the top floor overlooking the car park! Good, quick Wi-Fi available free, password is given as you check in. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a nice, convenient budget hotel in Tokyo.

    « A small but adequate room. »

We were in a room described as a small double, and it's a surprise to see how small this room is, think campervan / 2 berth caravan. But the bed was excellent, the small bathroom is big enough and has good water pressure and hot water. Each morning we took the free hotel shuttle bus to each park, and at the end of the day paid for a taxi home. (15 minutes about ¥3000/£18.) This is a hotel that is in a good location for the Disney parks, there's lots of shops and restaurants around and the underground station (Nishikasai), is close by but we had to ask for directions because it's down the escalator walk towards the road and continue straight ahead, turn left at the drugstore, and it's down this road on the right. The hotel staff were excellent and looked after our suitcases after we checked out. Do book your place on the shuttle bus.

« Average hotel in interesting area »

The hotel is located conveniently close to subway station which provides reasonably quick access to places of interest. We enjoyed visiting the many local restaurants close to the hotel each evening. There are so many of them! We found the service/staff lacking a typical hospitality expected in a hotel so, luckily, we did not spend much time there. We rate the location highly as it provides an opportunity to connect with locals and also travel into the city but believe the service at the hotel has significant room for improvement.

    « Hotel hear Disneyland »

We stayed in this hotel as it is near Tokyo Disneyland, it was your average hotel with free breakfast, we had the same breakfast each day. The rooms are not big, just right for me & my husband. The main reason why I booked in this hotel is because it is near disneyland and because of the free shuttle bus going to disney park, but to my dismay, the shuttle bus is full and they will not be able to accommodate us. Had I known, I should've booked in Shinjuku area.

    « Value for money »

Instead of staying in a Capsule Hotel or a hostel, this is also one of a good choice to stay. You have your own room with ensuite bathroom. You also have a breakfast which is great. The price is inclusive of daily breakfast that make you save a lot. Hotel is located nearby tokyo subway " Nishi-Kasai Station. There's a lot of restaurants and super market close to the hotel.

« One of the worst hotel i ever stayed »

One of the worst hotel i ever stayed and definitely one of the most worst hotel in tokyo. Front office staff lacks empathy, compassion, are impolite, inflexible and inpatient. I wondered why would anyone who are in the hospitality industry lacks these attributes. Check-in time was 3pm and check-out time was 10am. The front office being so rigid, told us the check-out time was 10am, so we immediately check-out. But it was raining heavily and we couldn't leave the hotel for the nearest train station - nishikasai. The hotel shuttle bus was parked right infront, but nobody offered to send us to the station. We had to idle at the lobby and our flight was due in the evening. Upon check-in, we also met up with an unpleasant experience - Naoya Tsuzura was extremely rude and has no courtesy at all. As a hospitality staff, how could he not put on a listening ear? He didn't want to hear the guests and understand the guest's perspective, all he did was to said 'its the hotel policies etc etc'' He was really very impolite, inpatient and was frowning and frustrated when i tried to explain to him my request (for a room change). Horrible terrible stay. A very regretful choice made.

« Good hotel in ok location »

I stayed in this hotel for six nights as part of a solo trip to Japan. Staff made the check in and check out very simple, and you could check in any time. There was also no curfew or anything like that. Hotel is literally a two minute walk from Nishi-Kasai Metro station, where you can easily get to Tokyo station and other major sites. It was close to a FamilyMart and some other restaurants. Amenities on the second floor were helpful. There is a coin laundry as well as a microwave and vending machines selling alcohol, noodles, chocolate, drinks, etc. The hotel did offer leaflets for pizza and sushi delivery as well as a massage service but I didn't use these. Hotels TV had CNN which was the only English broadcast but to be fair you can't exactly expect there to be many English channels in Japan. It's a bit too easy to accidentally switch to channels showing pay per view pornography and movies so if you have kids or whatever then you may not want to let them play with the remote control. Only issue is that there isn't really much in terms of soundproofing, I could hear people playing music in other rooms and people arguing late at night, as well as the sound of a vending machine. It didn't prove to be that big a problem All in all for the price the hotel is very good and I'd probably stay here again.

« Nice hotel, but unfriendly staff »

I went there after a long day exhausted trip in disneyland tokyo. Actually the place is very near from subway, 24 hours convenience store. The place was cl3an, orderly. But, my POV is quite expensive place but since tokyo is the most expensive city in the world well...quite Ok.

    5
« Best hotel with great service in Tokyo »

This hotel was best among others at economic price. The room (non smoking room) was nice and spacious. The location are just stone distance to Nishikasai station of train. Plenty of foods around the hotel. There is a street with good food. Chorme 1-3 street. Try the Tempura restaurant located at the corner. The best Tempura I ever had.

    3
« well situated and what you need »

We stayed there on the 3Oth December of 2015 for one night, we booked for 2 rooms on booking.com but because we were 7 (3 children below 17yo) we have to take another one. If I remember his name : Tsuzura took care of our check in. He was nice at the beginning then started becoming unpleasant. We went through an issue for the reservation and he kept sighing loudly while we were trying to make a decision. We could feel his annoyance...and as I am working in luxury hotel I know how BAD this is ! So please tell him not to show his bad feelings and instead he must smile and be courteous all along even if the guest is demanding...and I don't think we were like that at all. So...his attitude was inappropriate. The hotel itself is good, it it well situated, 20mn by taxi from Disneyland Tokyo and there is a Nishikasai Station at 5mn walking. This place is surrounded by shop, restaurants and so many others nice things...Really nice walk. The reception is not big but good and the breakfast is on the other side of it. The buffet is good, lot of Japanese foods so it is perfect for people who really want to live like japanese. For foreigners, you have some eggs, burger (just the meat), salad...and Japan has the best sesame dressing in the word. YOU MUST TRY IT. The room is okay, you have all what you need, I was staying in room 814 and it was nice. I am working in housekeeping as an assistant executive so I care about the room. It was very clean, nothing to say. Lot of amenities too : toothbrush, comb, razor, hairdryer, necessary for coffee and tea...I used the their red slippers. We also had the free wifi on multiple devises, the reception gives the code. The view from the room is nice, I watched CNN as it is the only channel in english. Congratulations to the housekeeping service for their work as they are doing it very well and without trolleys it must be hard work, to hold the materials and stuff. Although Tsuzura was unpleasant, everything else was perfectly good. On the morning, for check out, 2 ladies took care of us it was on the 31st - I don't know their name but they were lovely and made us want to come back.

    3
« Super near the subway! »

The subway was the real deal for me here. Merely 2 minutes away from the hotel. This is a good option especially if you're always out of the hotel for tours. We came in an hour or two earlier than the check-in time. We asked if we can have our luggage kept for safety in the meantime while we check the vicinity. They kindly obliged. Japanese people are trustworthy and nice. :) Note that we went here during the winter season so we found the rooms a bit hot for our liking. Asked the lobby to open the windows for us to get some chilly air going inside the room. The lobby is also giving away green tea and coffee, so get a lot! Although the room and the bathroom are quite small (imagine a family of 3 tall people), the breakfast buffet of Japanese, Chinese and some American cuisine was enough to make us forget about the cramped space. Overall, it was a tolerable / great experience. There's a really good yakiniku buffet place in Nishikasai station. Don't miss that as well. And ask for map in the front desk!

    4
« Clean , Quiet and well positioned. »

I was warned that the rooms were small and they are. But the rooms were spotless and the customer service was unobtrusive and friendly. The hotel is about 20 mins shinjuku and because the toyko metro is so awesome, this was never an issue. We ate in Nishikasai most of the time in small family run restaurants were the food was great, well priced and the service delightful. We also found some outlet shopping close to the hotel . I recommend spending time at the end of a big day of shopping or touring in Nishikasai for a peek at suburban Tokyo and a quiet beer at one of the many local eateries.

« Nice area close to disney »

We picked this hotel for tge price and that it was close to disney. They do two shuttles there in the morning and you need to book your spot (it is free)' I'd recommend you email ahead to get a spot booked for the first buss. There is a number 7 public bus slso that is a 10 minute walk to the buss stop then a 10 min bus ride. The taxi is about 30 us or 40 aud at the moment, 10 min ride. There is a free public zoo 10 min walk away it's z must do. The area around the hotel is really nice to see a different quieter side of tokyo. The only down side is that most of tge rooms are smoking rooms so you are likely to be in one as we were. It was the first time in a smoking room as we don't smoke but it was actually OK. They have an air freshener spray and air purify in the room

    4
« Standard of a mid range hotel »

We booked a standard room for one night and it was pretty tiny! Fortunately we did not stay long in the hotel and we were pretty used to small rooms in Tokyo by then. The customer service was alright, nothing fantastic. We arrived hoping to catch the hotel bus to Disney land that day but were disappointed as we were informed that the bus only runs in the morning! Fortunately they gave us information on how to go there with public transport. The location is great as its a 3 minute walk from the Nishi Kasai station! Which if you go on the tokyo metro line you can easily get to other areas of Tokyo by changing trains at Nipponbashi to get on the Ginza line then to the Yamanote line! Overall its a clean room with your basic amenities, can't complain when the only time we spent in there was just to sleep!

« Affordable and Friendly Staff »

Some of the staff are bilingual and some are not but it was nice that I was able to communicate with someone prior to my trip to lower the chance of me getting lost. If I go back to Tokyo for leisure I would stay there and take the train everywhere I go since it was only a block away and cost 200 yen.

    « Best western Nishikasai »

Very close to railway station. Good restaurants nearby. Indian locality. Yes mart, Mcdonalds nearby, 24x7 grocery shop. Good hotel. No Almeras. May be that is the way Japan hotels are. Small bathrooms.

« small but easy to acces ! »

its small and not so expensive hotel. don't have great view. room service is good, its best pace to access to city and has Indian locality so you find more Indian restaurant and serve good food. I loved to stay here will see you soon this hotel again :)

    « Close to Disneyland »

I have stayed at this hotel a few times now and I have never been disappointed. If you are looking for just somewhere to sleep, then this is great. The room is small, but comfortable. It has a small refrigerator in the room, TV and tea and coffee making facilities and a small ensuite. Internet was always reliable. The shuttle bus to Disneyland is great, though I usually found my own way back in the afternoon, as the return times did not always suit. It is literally 500m to the Metro, which can get you to most places in Tokyo. There are lots of little diners and supermarkets to get food.

    3
« Cheap AND close to Disneyland »

First time visiting a Best Western in Japan and I walk into the hotel with my family and it feels like an old 80s Japanese drama based in a nightclub or hostess bar. The lobby really needs a revamp !!! BUT the room was completely different (must have been recently redone) as its what you expect from a modern hotel (apart from the small Japanese bathroom which is to be expected). Beds were very comfortable - Hotel has free wifi in the room (this is very rare in Japan). Not far from the station and has a free shuttle bus to Disneyland (you must book the bus as it gets pretty crowded) Breakfast was ok.....paid 1,400 yen or $14 so I would recommend going to the bakery Damark near the station to get the breakfast there. As someone living in Japan, I can't understand why people would stay here to get around Tokyo itself while on vacation as its pretty out of the way and around the station doesnt have much to offer travellers. BUT for Disneyland, its really good

    4
« Comfortable and convenient hotel »

We didn't have any expectation to Tokyo hotels in general but this one exceeded it. The room was spacious enough with ample space to move around and for all our luggage. The hotel is priced reasonably. It's super near to the train station and lots of convenient stores and restaurants nearby. Love their "green" program where you tell them to reuse your linens during your entire stay. The housekeeper broke my shampoo bottle and the management replaced them and apologized incessantly even during our check out. I really appreciated the honesty and the gesture. We will consider staying here for sure!

    « Great economy hotel »

I stayed at this hotel for almost three weeks while visiting Tokyo for the first time. The hotel was perfect for my needs: a 5 minute walk to the Tozai subway line, a clean and comfortable room (although it is very small!), an inviting lobby, plus the hotel had a great buffet breakfast that was included in my rate. The hotel is situated in Edogawa, which was perfect for me: it has a wide range of creatures comforts (restaurants, convenience stores, pharmacies, game centres, etc.) that you could want all within 5 minutes of the hotel. Plus a 12 minute walk NE will take you to Edogawa Zoo (free admission) and great park!! There is even a batting practise facility not too far away. I booked the hotel several months in advance so got a great rate. Plus there's a free hotel shuttle to Disney Land. The hotel staff are friendly but have limited English. Also, the second floor of the hotel has a washer(300 yen) and dryer (100 yen). The only negative is that the hotel turned off the AC near the end of my stay (late October) in order to economize. That's okay in the midst of winter but my room was 27 degrees so it made for an uncomfortable last night stay - I had to ask the front desk for a special device to unlock the window) All in all, it's a great hotel. If you are okay staying in a quiet residential area that connects easily to the heart of Tokyo, then this is a great choice

« Disappointed in this Best Western »

This hotel is located in the suburbs but it is close to the station. Took us about 1hr from shinjuku station to this hotel. We where able to hold our luggage until we checked in late about 8pm. Staff weren't really that welcoming and we where also informed the shuttle bus was full booked the following day. They have two time slots for the shuttle either 7:30am or 8:30am for drop of and either 9:30pm or 10:30pm for pick up. Which is the really absurd because who is really going to be there from before opening to just as they close? What we didn't realize was if you don't take the shuttle from the hotel you will have to walk the 45min or cab it to the other train line to get to Disney as it's many transfers from the current station which would take over 1hr. We had asked the front desk for where to walk then for the station and they handed us a paper and we asked oh is this the station with the big Ferris wheel? they responded with "sorry speak slow English handicapped." we tried again and even drew them a little picture of what we where asking and they still couldn't understand. This was the only time we encountered a language barrier at any of our Japanese hotels. Anyways the hotel rooms where the smallest we have every stayed in japan, my luggage couldn't be opened unless it was on the bed. This must be a older hotel because we could hear ever door closing and everyone talking in the hallway. Buffet breakfast was included but it was very limited and lackluster. There was scrambled eggs, miso, bread, yogurt, canned fruit and curry every morning and about 3 dished that would very every morning. the only saving grace was the price of this hotel.

« Cosy hotel in Tokyo surburbs »

Very close to Nishikasai eki and walking distance to most amenities like restaurant and grocery shops. Half an hour away from Tokyo city with frequent train service Very good staff, however, English proficiency needs to be improved

    « Convenient and comfy! »

The hotel is very easy to get to, exit out the south gate and walk straight ahead, you'll cross the road and go past some shops and restaurants, take the first left and you'll see the sign for the hotel at the end. I stayed in this hotel on three separate occasions, each stay was 2-3 nights. The first two stays check in was painless and quick, but the third time I had to visit reception twice after check in as I didn't receive my breakfast coupons and they didn't copy my passport, and to top it off at check out I was told they only charged me for one night and needed further payment. Not great! The room was compact but comfortable, the bed was comfy although the pillows were both pretty hard which was fine when jet lagged but could have been a bit softer. The bathroom is a small pod bathroom but well equipped with all toiletries you'd need. The wifi was stable and fast, I was able to stream videos and Skype with no problems. The TV had limited channels and cnn was the only English Channel but that was fine for background noise when getting up and such. The room has plenty of sockets, there are two sockets conveniently placed next to the bed. This hotel is so convenient for Tokyo and Ichikawa. The distance from the station is literally a 2 minute walk and you can get to Tokyo station in roughly 20 minutes. The staff speak basic English and were very friendly. My only tip is that the front of the hotel seems to be quieter, last stay I was at the back and I could hear noise from the neighbouring building and the lift from the hotel.

« Hotel with Excellent Services »

This is one of the best hotel I have ever stayed. It is closed to Tokyo Metro subway station and 15 minutes to downtown by subway. All hotel staff including front desk, restaurant and room services are professional and friendly. The breakfast is very good and you can experience authentic Japanese food in their restaurant.

    « Small but welcoming. »

Very easy to access from the station, not even five minutes, plenty full breakfast, staff was good and helpful, not many options in the area, but with the metro you can to any major point of Tokyo in less than 40 minutes. From Haneda airport you will have to change just once the train. Rooms are small, standard for Tokyo, and the biggest problem is the noise from other rooms, as the walls are very thin.

« Best Western for Tokyo Disneyland »

We chose this hotel because of its location to Disneyland and the free shuttle. Note that the free shuttle does not take you directly to Disneyland, it takes you to a JR Station one stop away from the station for Disneyland (both land & sea), was good enough for us. Also another point to note for the shuttle, it only has 2 timings in the morning and 2 at night - and you gotta make prior bookings for it. We arrived late morning and hence missed the shuttle, but the front desk was very helpful with the information, and they are able to hold and send your luggage to your rooms at check-in time while you are out. There are also several marts and eateries around the hotel, room is quite small but was comfortable and sufficient for our one night stay. Wifi also was very stable and fast.
