Best Western Plus The Arden Park Hotel

Poor value for the money. Suite just ok, room felt a bit tired. Hole in the bathroom door. Paint work in bathroom could have been better. Staff good. Views nice. The gentleman that built this hotel always ran sharp operations. It seems to have declined with corporate management.

As Seniors, we requested a very quiet room and arrived early enough to have this request honoured. Unfortunately; the room was not at all soundproof. There was a 2 - 3" gap between the bottom of the door and the floor. We found out that a hockey tournament was going on and we were surrounded by hockey players running about in the hallway, slamming doors and talking very loudly, There may even have been a dog barking at one time. Very upsetting and very disappointing considering the price point of the room .

Great place to stay……quiet,close to downtown. Easy parking. Room excellent…..the suite had private lounge area,very comfortable. The decor calming,nice art. Dining room food excellent………meals and staff excellent Good pool

We (family of 4) were very disappointment in our recent stay at the Best Western Plus - The Arden Park Hotel on February 18th. We chose your hotel specifically for its amenities, particularly the pool, which our kids love to swim in. However, our experience was marred by an unexpected inconvenience. Upon returning to our room (336) after using the pool, we discovered that there was no hot water available for showering. After contacting the front desk, we were informed that there was an issue with the room's hot water supply, which also affected our family friends' adjacent room (#337). We were advised that the problem required the attention of a plumber to resolve. Although the front desk kindly offered to relocate us to another room that same night (it was 9 pm), it was late and we were scheduled to depart the following morning. Given the inconvenience of repacking and unpacking our belongings, we opted to stay in our current room despite the lack of hot water. That resulted in not using the pool the next morning (we tried the shower there but the water was cold as well) which upset our kids. When we wrote to the hotel asking for compensation for the inconvenience, their response was: “We did in fact experience problems with our hot water system, as you stated. Unfortunately this issue was unexpected and not something we could have been proactive about, which is less than ideal, and I do apologize. I'm struggling with your request for compensation, as I do feel our team handled things properly, in providing you with solutions to the issues at hand. With regards to not being able to swim due to no hot water in your guest room, again the pool areas have 2 individual shower areas that did in fact have hot water and were available to shower off in. I do appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns, and allow me an opportunity to properly apologize, however I do not feel compensation is warranted, as you were given solutions to the issues that arose. We do appreciate your business and hope to see you return as our guests again.” We will never go back!

Absolutely LOVE this hotel- the staff are wonderful, welcoming and helpful. The restaurant is delicious and very pleasant. The amenities are very accessible and very well taken care of. We travel as a large family and use 2 rooms, stays have always been great, accommodating and never lacking. We also travel with a dog, very pet friendly.

The room was beautiful and comfortable. The tub is longer than average. The restaurant is reasonably priced and great breakfast. Staff are friendly and helpful. All areas of the hotel are clean and relaxing.

Excellent hotel and the hotel bar is a great place to have dinner. The bartender has a great sense of humor and is very efficient. Rooms were clean and hotel was quiet. the swimming pool is great, very relaxing after a day of moving.

Great staff from start to finish! Reasonably priced menu and great servers in the restaurant! Housekeeping friendly and efficient, front desk were helpful and answered all questions. Definitely recommend if travelling to Stratford or even if you just need a quick meal.

There was one housekeeper that was very rude to my wife and I , I had a look at her name tag and it said Carol on it. She was very unprofessional. We asked her where the pool was and she was very rude about it and told us to go ask the front desk manager, her tone was extremely rude. My wife and I will not be coming back to this hotel!

Very good hotel, clean and spacious rooms, good amenities, comfortable bed, attractive restaurant in lobby area. Location just outside main part of Stratford is convenient with lots of parking. Highly recommend.

Have been staying at the Arden any time we're in Stratford for the last 15+ years, and it honestly feels like our second home at this point. The service, quality, and atmosphere are excellent, and the on site restaurant is one of the best in town.

Best Western Arden Park is a lovely place to stay. It is extremely clean, quite at night and the team is very helpful and friendly. The beds and pillow are very comfortable and rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The internet is also very good.

$330 a night taxes in was not great value at all. Gym needs a serious upgrade. Tried to use my government rate but they would not allow it because the room was reserved under a wedding block. I signed up for a Best Western rewards account and I couldn't take advantage of the 5,000 bonus points because the room was booked under a different name!

Clean, comfortable and excellent service. Location is a comfortable walk to the downtown area. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The waitress at breakfast is an excellent ambassador for this hotel. We will be back.

This hotel is lovely . The rooms are modern and clean. The hotel itself is immaculate. It's an easy 10 minute walk to the Festival Theatre and the walkway along the river. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel!

Our "home away from home" in Stratford. The staff is friendly, the rooms are very pleasant, the bathrooms great and the dining room is very good with a pleasant staff. The food is good and the eggs Benedict are the best at breakfast!

I liked my stay at the Best Western Arden Park. While the property shows its overall age, it is clean and well maintained. Desk staff friendly, rooms are spacious and clean. TV's are updated, bed and linens are clean and comfortable. Convenient for theatre goers- walking distance. Like all Stratford hotels, it is expensive, but I would stay here again and recommend.

My daughter and I returned to Arden Park for second year for our shopping trip. It is consistently clean and pleasant place to stay. Staff are pleasant and very welcoming to all. The restaurant and bar has great menu and serves quality food with fair prices

The Best Western Plus Arden Park Hotel is located within a 10 or 15 minute stroll to the Stratford Festival Theatre. It has reasonable prices with comfortable rooms and a good restaurant. Staff are all very pleasant. Lots of parking on site. This is our hotel of choice when visiting Stratford.

We had a fabulous weekend. We booked a suite and another room so the sweet was our hang out space! Ice machine right around the corner, fridge microwave wet bar and comfy chairs to relax and visit in!

Location was perfect for the theater, walking distance. Due to weather (rain) some friends took a cab . We walked as it seem to be a short distance. Tip while staying here if yo want to eat at the Restaurant book early as it fills up fast .

Continue to make this our go to hotel when in area. Friendly and attentive staff, clean, and great location. Within walking distance of all four theatre's, park and numerous restaurants. Never disappointed.

We visit Stratford annually and this is our go to hotel. Great experience with friendly and accommodating reception, clean and quiet rooms. Enjoyed a complementary continental breakfast in the comfy reception area. Fresh baked goods, yogurt, fresh fruit and coffee, tea, and juice. Highly recommend.

Our room was very clean and the bed with pillow top was fantastic. Close to everything, friendly staff excellent dinning room and lounge. Really enjoyed the pool area as well. Easy access to highway and situated in a nice area.

Gorgeous town and nice hotel. The food was fantastic and the servers were so kind. We booked a group for 2 weeks of training and the rooms were large and clean. Our guest rooms were tidy and welcoming, the housekeeping staff went above and beyond for us our entire stay, Carol made us feel like we were at home and helped us with anything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Unfortunately, I booked the two nights that the dining room was closed. This was not as advertised, so my wife and I had to scramble to find alternate and plain eating. Their dining room, when open, has been excellent in the past. The hotel itself and staff are excellent.

The hotel had good amenities and a nice pool. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Pleasant staff in the restaurant. Lots of free parking. The hotel is not far from the downtown -- about 20 minutes walking.

Lovely weekend getaway. Beautiful room, staff excellent. Deb & Nora in the restaurant simply the best. The hotel is extremely clean and well cared for. Location is perfect for shopping, the theatre and close to beautiful settings for a wedding. Highly recommended.

My Visa statement list an additional charge or $198. for our 1-night stay at the hotel. Room rate charge was $298.68. Hotel was clean and pleasant but expensive for a small town. Capitalizing on their location in Stratford Ontario perhaps.

We had a room with 2 queen size beds. The room was wonderful. The room was spacious, had a fridge, coffeeaker, nice little table ro have a coffee besides the normal desk. Lots of free parking. It was about an 8 min drive to main street or an 18 min walk. We drove downtown for dinner but you only have to pay thr meter up to 8pm. There is a free lot which the cloaer hotels use. They sèemed to have nice meeting rooms in this hotel. Front desk was great.

The Arden Park Hotel is a great place to stay while in Stratford. It provides many amenities such as an indoor pool, dining and it's within walking distance to the Festival Theatre if you are here to visit for that purpose. If you are here for other reasons it is centrally located on a main street. The hotel itself is clean with updated comfortable rooms. You will not be disappointed with your stay here. Best of all the staff is friendly and top-notch!

We had a suite and it was beautiful. So spacious and clean. Was in friends rooms that were not suites but they had lots of rooms to . Highly recommend this Hotel. Food was delicious and fairly priced.

My husband and I need a little getaway and the price was great and the late checkout was awesome... Ive stayed a few times and never have had a bad stay. Pool and hot tub were great addition to a stormy winte day. Thanks again

Phil at the front desk was amazing. All the staff was great. Very, very bad food for dinner at the restaurant. Like really bad!! Crab cakes had no crab. Not sure what we ate!! So bad. Wine glass was filthy and had lipstick on it!! Instead of giving me a new wine they dumped into a cleaner glass. SO GROSS!!

Hotel is located away from downtown, but close to the Festival Theatre. I stayed for one night. Checkin/out experiences were both efficient and pleasurable with friendly staff. Room was spotless, and quite enjoyed the fireplace and jacuzzi. Good firm mattress.

Last minute stay, but excellent big room. Nice comfortable bed. Clean room . I declined the basic breakfast buffet for 16.00. I really have no negatives to say about this place. I didn't use the pool, but looked decent.

We were in town overnight for an early medical appointment (MRI) the next day and asked if we could have an extra half hour for a late departure and were granted an extension to 1:00 pm 'to take the pressure off'. As it turned out, we didn't need the extra time, but we thought that was very gracious! Great team and beautiful property; we look forward to coming back - next time just for a mini holiday.

The hotel has great rooms and clean. The pool is enjoyable as well. Unfortunately the breakfast buffet was a terrible disappointment. Bread to toast, powdered scrambled eggs, cold potatoes, bacon and sausage. Not half as good as breakfasts included with other hotels and $14.99

The BW Plus is convenient to the theatres and offers full service restaurant. The rooms are large, clean and well equipped and the beds are comforable. Have not had the opportunity to use the pool but it is a nice addition. This hotel is very well maintained.

Fastest check in/out experience ever. Loads of free parking. Stayed 2 nights. While not in the centre of town, it was an easy walk to the Festival (almost next door) and Studio ( about 1.2 k walk) theatres for us seniors. Room was fresh and immaculate. It was quiet all the time. Even housekeeping outside our door did not wake us. Windows could be partially opened. Room was on 5th floor and faced main street but no road noise in the room. Appreciated fridge and coffee pod machine in room. Ate at hotel restaurant both nights. It's generally hard to get restaurant reservations for dinner in Stratford but not at the hotel. Menu had lots of variety, portions were generous, food tasty, service excellent and prices reasonable. Left over food and desserts were boxed for taking back to the room fridge and we were also permitted to take the unfinished wine to the room. The fixed price, 3 course meal prices were too good to pass up. The pool area was very clean, had lots of towels, had a change facility and lots of seating/loungers. The floor was heated. A coffee machine in the lobby dispensed 6 different beverages at the push of a button. It was good, free and never out of order. Definitely a cut above any other hotel I've stayed at. We've stayed at other places in Stratford but won't stay or eat dinner elsewhere in the future.

Staff was terrible. Restaurant was terrible..3 night stay as a Diamond and did not have our room serviced in 3 nights.....VERY BAD ..I have stayed at this hotel in the past and it was ok to good...Right now I would not stay here again nor would I tell anyone to stay here either..

The cleaning lady did not offer to move the big gray bin out of the hallway. She watched me struggle to push my disabled son‘s walker past this bin. The kitchen put our food on a tray instead of in takeout containers. My son and I were left pushing a cart of food up to our room. The kitchen/bartender should've offered to push it up for us as our hands were full. I was overcharged on my bill and did not receive my deposit back. $315.27 per night. Countertop floors and toilet were dirty in our room. We wore our shoes the entire time

When we checked in, no direction was given about there actually being 2 towers. Spent 15 minutes looking for our room. Multiple people had the same experience. Also, no explanation about there not being maid service, so if we wanted coffee 2nd morning, coffee was available at desk. We called the front desk multiple times during our stay, but not once was the phone answered. On the plus side, the rooms were clean. Water pressure was terrible, and our bathroom lights did not work. Again,,,, we were very disappointed.

The room was very clean, check in and check out was easy. The price was expensive but one of the nicer places in the area. Lots of parking. We had no issues with our stay. Would recommend if your looking for a more luxury stay.

I walked down the stairs for some exercise and was struck at how they were spotlessly clean! Not where you expect to see such scrupulous care, but it reflects the attitude at this hotel. It is well-maintained, clean and staffed by people who are friendly and helpful. The spot to stay in Stratford.

I've been coming here for many years to dine in the restaurant. The wait staff are always pleasant and accommodating. I enjoyed my lunch there yesterday which was a smoked chicken with Brie sandwich and fries. It was extremely busy. However the ladies waiting on me were very positive and cheerful and were not caving in under the activity. There seems to be a real team effort everyone helping and some taking the time just to exchange a few pleasantries with the diners. And I specifically went there yesterday to attend an activity honoring a former employee of theirs who I first met over 35 years ago at their business who died recently. Thanks Arden Park for all you did yesterday for her. I'm so thankful to have been there.

The hotel was very clean and the room was clean and up to date. The black out curtains were very good. Our room was a long ways from the front desk and when we checked in we had to return to the front desk to get new card keys as the ones given to us did not work. The back entrance card keys didn't work either.

We had a great stay - rooms were clean and modern, and the staff were very friendly and professional. Would definitely stay there again. We had the breakfast buffet both days - amazing service and good food.

This was our first visit to Stratford and the Arden Park. We were there for a show at the festival. The gentleman that checked us in got us into our room early and provided a map to the theater. Great experience

I told you my problems with the hotel except for the pool:: too short and too shallow; the shower and toilet were in the same room making it inaccessible to anyone looking for a toilet while someone was showering

Stayed here in a suite for 5 nights ....The room was spacious and light and clean ... Breakfast was buffet and plentiful. Best of all the hotel was so quiet and we had a wonderful sleep every night . There is a pool and hot tub on the ground floor which was fun .... Plan to stay here again next visit hopefully in the same room ...

Very quiet. Very clean. Big rooms. Huge bathtub. Lots of hot water. Free parking. Easy walk to festival theatre. Only downside -- if you are short, the beds are really high and a bit difficult to climb onto.

Everything in the hotel is what you would expect for quality and service from Best Western Plus. Quite nice. Hotel elevator has menu showing breakfast options. Get there and all they have is a substandard buffet which costs $14.99. Cereals or oatmeal are extra. Other Best Westerns which include the breakfast are far better buffets. Was informed that it is because they don't want to spend $22.00 an for a cook. True or rumour couldn't verify.

The hotel is well staffed with friendly people. The rooms are clean and fresh and well decorated. We've been staying here for many years and have never experienced a problem. We LOVE it! The food is great and the service always friendly.

Stayed here in the past. Easy check in. Room very clean, spacious and everything in working order. Convenient and ample parking. Did not use fitness facilities or restaurant on this stay. Stayed overnight and within walking distance to Festival theater. Would stay here again.

Rooms were very nice, however to pay $300 for one night is atrocious; they charged $2.50 for water; buffet was $14.00 per person, And service was terrible. Food on the break fast buffet was greasy bacon, burnt sausage and limited fruit. We had to ask repeatedly to have our plates removed; our waitress never asked if we wanted more tea or coffee. Definitely will not return to Best Western.

As always, stay here is exceptional. Very professional and friendly staff, and quiet and restful atmosphere. Never disappointed when we stay here and their location to the downtown area and theatre options is worderful

We have stayed here a number of times since 2000. The rooms are nice, clean, and good size. We come here for a week's stay while we attend plays at the Stratford Festival. It is conveniently located to the Festival Theatre and a reasonable walk to the Patterson (about a mile). The food is decent and consistent. The rooms are clean and housekeeping will do their job upon request. I have to say the lighting over the bathroom sink is the worst I have ever experienced. I keep hoping for a renovation year with the hope that they fix that issue. Overall, this is our hotel of choice in Stratford.

The hotel staff were great but it's unfortunate that the corporate side of things interferes with that. We were there for a wedding that was supposed to start at 5pm and our check-in was only available after 3pm. That's very ridiculous and we understand that the hotel is understaffed, but how do you justify $300 per night and we have to check in after 3pm? That part was just unacceptable.

Our usual B&B's were fully booked on this trip to Stratford so we found ourselves at the Best Western Plus Arden Park Place. We opted for a corner suite which was huge. It was reasonable, clean, quiet and unbeknownst to us we could walk to the Festival Theatre. There is an on-site pool and full restaurant (but try Romeos Corner Cafe across the road!). It was a post COVID visit so some rules had changed and staff was low. However, Carol, our lady from housekeeping was very helpful & friendly. Not a 5-Star hotel but I am sure we will return. As a side note, while definitely clean & tidy I think it's been a while since upgrading. However, nothing to stop another visit!

The rooms were clean and updated. The beds were comfortable. There was ample parking for small and large vehicles. I thought the price was a little high but it was in line with other hotels in the area.

The room was excellent, comfortable and clean. We were in town for a family event so didn't get to use any of the amenities like exercise room or pool. Staff was friendly. It was nice being able to get coffee near the desk with fresh cream or milk. We were a little unaware of it, but had a card with our room keys on arrival that noted that the room wouldn't be cleaned, towels changed, etc. during our stay unless we asked for it. This seemed like a good policy for the environment-we don't replace towels and sheets every day at home. We did find it strange that pet fee was applied daily though we hadn't asked for the daily clean. Manager expressed that we could have asked for cleaning but I'm not going to do that just to try to get value for fee with our dog.

After a challenging start for a block booking for a wedding, guests were satisfied with their stay. The decor is a little oppresive in the rooms, dark colours, and nothing special about the buffet breakfast.

Based on a previous stay in a wonderful room, I booked a room even though the cost was much higher than usual. The very curt front desk staff was dismissive of my request for a room on a higher floor. Fair enough.The hotel was busy but there was no need to be so terse and blunt. Then when I opened the door to my assigned room it was clear from the moment we entered that the room was in poor condition and probably the last to ever be assigned. The carpet was stained and filthy dirty and obviously contributed to the stale odors. Since there were no other rooms available we stuck it out for the one night. The bathroom toilet was in terrible shape around the base and the bathroom counter top stained. We could not get out to there fast enough. Even our breakfast was tainted by an overzealous manager who paced the restaurant throughout our entire meal. He even told the customers in front of us they would have to vacate their table by 10:45am. Our server, however, was superb and kept telling everyone to take as long as they like! Our meal was delicious. The coffee flowed freely. If it wasn't for our server the entire stay would have been ruined.

We stayed in the 2 Queen Suite with the additional bonus of a fireplace. Upon arrival we impressed with the amount of space the room had. The living room had a pull out couch and 2 chairs with the fireplace as the main highlight. There was also a small desk area for anyone doing any work while traveling. There were 2 TV's in the suite, one in the living room and the bedroom. There was also a small kitchenette with a microwave and a keurig machine We had some minor issues. First we weren't able to figure out where the switch for the fireplace was. We also had a struggle with the bath tub know. I thought I was going to break it. Both time we called down to the front desk and both times they were fantastic about helping us. There is also a pool and a fitness area on site but we neve got a chance because we were really enjoying the fireplace. We actually found it

Truely enjoyed our first trip to Stratford. Best Western made it easy to check in, room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Saw the pool but didn't get a chance to enjoy, looking forward to trying it on our next visit. Easy walking distance to the down town area as well as our event and the free parking made it the perfect spot! Staff were friendly and cheerful from the front desk to the bar to housekeeping, Overall a great spot to stay!

room 530 air conditioner unit both extremely noisy. Rest the very best except for large chip out of the coffee table and shower head just dripped. I was surprised by modern touches of the hotel. I was expecting bad queen and furniture.

This is the 2nd time that we have stayed at this property. It is a very good choice for anyone attending the Festival Theatre. The rooms are huge with comfortable beds, large screen tv, and good wifi. The bar and restaurant serve very good food at reasonable prices.

Room wasn't clean. Garbage was left from previous guest on the floor. Toothpaste splatter and other unidentified grime on bathroom counter. Keycard left from last guest on a surface that should've been wiped down. Especially right after covid, this is unacceptable. Credit card was overcharged vs what the bill was for. For a $300/night stay, totally disgusted and unimpressed. Front desk staff was friendly.

The hotel was clean and many rooms updated. All the staff were friendly and helpful. They made you feel like they were glad to have you there. The staff tried to be accommodating no matter the situation. The pool is a real treat to have in the summer months. The free coffee in the lobby was nice to have anytime.

We would definitely stay here again. The staff was so cheerful and accommodating, from the restaurant, front desk to the housekeeping The beds were comfortable and clean. The grandkids enjoyed the pool although the pool room was very hot. The hotel was located within easy walking distance to Stratford festival theatre, Queen's park and the river walk.

We booked the Best Western due to its location near the Festival Theatre in Stratford. The hotel was very clean, bed was comfortable and the location was great. It was a very standard room with no view (looked over a roof and outside wall) but we were not in the room much, so that was fine.

The hotel is great, close to the Festival and park. Rooms were comfortable although the AC was a little noisy. However, we arrived on a very hot day and were looking forward to a refreshing swim. The pool area is very nice but the water looked green. After stepping in, I knew why. The water was hot....almost the same temperature as the hot tub. Definitely not refreshing and probably not healthy. You would think that if the chemicals were tested as they should be, the water temperature should have been noticed. I was very disappointed. Maybe they don't check the chemicals.

Hotel is one of the more modern hotels in Stratford. It is a 10 minute walk to the Festival Theatre. We booked a king bed room. Room was clean and spacious with a love seat couch, Keurig coffee maker and fridge. Additional coffee pods are available at the front desk as well as milk or cream containers in the lobby fridge. Room 201 is closest to the street and we did not notice the traffic. Hotel has a pool and hot tub that we used. Pool towels are provided. Unlike other Best Western Plus hotels, this hotel does not include breakfast. Hotel has a restaurant for an additional charge. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area. We brought our own food for a continental breakfast. Bathroom amenities includes shampoo, conditioner, lotion and mouthwash. We only used the mouthwash and found it to have a strong mint taste that we did not care for. Will bring our own next time. Plan to return twice more this season for theatre.

Our rooms were comfortable and clean. When we checked in and if we have questions, the staff was friendly and helpful.The walking distance to downtown Stratford was lengthy, but doable. We would definitely consider staying here again.

This was easily one of the worst experiences of my life. There were a plethora of issues with this hotel which peppered our trip constantly. We wanted to enjoy our time at the hotel and the Stratford festival, but it truly was not possible staying at this Best Western Arden Park. Firstly, room keys would deactivate every hour and we had to go back to the lobby 8 times to reactivate our cards which was quite frustrating. Also, our room was never cleaned and even towels were not exchanged over our 3 day stay. Furthermore, staff were just extremely disrespectful and lacked the most basic of customer service skills, especially the manager, Andrea. As someone who has traveled to many hotels, I can say that I have received much better service for half the price. My high expectations for this hotel were juxtaposed with the extremely poor reality of what occurred over my stay. I truly wish there was a 0 star rating option instead of 1 star. This was my very first time at Best Western Arden Park in Stratford with my family and I can now say with confidence it will most definitely be our last.

The hotel is excellently located a short distance from downtown Stratford and the sheathes. Staff was friendly and took care of all our requests. Room class we booked was not available so we were upgraded. We found the location good value for such a convenient location. Woulld befinately stay here again.

This hotel had big rooms that were spotlessly clean. It's close to the Festival Theatre. And, with the free parking, free internet, mini fridge and coffee maker, it made it a great spot to stay close to the theatre and within walking distance of the main part of the town although that is about a 20 minute walk depending on how fast you walk.

I came in from NB for a wedding. Kenzii assisted with some room adjustments before I arrived. She was awesome! Service was amazing as well as the restaurant. Was great having the restaurant right there as car rentals were not possible. Would definitely stay here again!

We arrived early for check in and took a chance and our room was ready. There were many family members also at the hotel and everyone was happy with their rooms and how clean it was. It was everyone first time staying in a hotel since COVID and everyone felt safe.

My husband has been staying at this hotel every other week since February. I recently joined him for a little getaway. We had a king suite which was spacious and very comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed the use of the pool and hot tub. I noticed there wasn't any overwhelming smell of chlorine which was nice. We thought the price was very good at 149.00 All the staff was helpful. Kenzyy at the front desk helped me out and always had a pleasant smile. I went to the dining room for cutlery and dishes as we like to eat in and it was no problem. Even though we couldn't have housekeeping services due to covid protocols, it was no problem getting clean towels and other items. The coffee maker wasn't working and the maintenance gentleman had it replaced in minutes. I would have 2 suggestions: a proper table and chairs to dine would be good. Though there was a small table to put keys and other items on, it was too small and the side chairs were too low to try make an eating set up. The rooms are very spacious so shouldn't be a problem adding that. The other is please add bath mats in the shower. We both had to hold on to the faucet while showering and I resorted to putting a towel in the shower because it was dangerously slippery. The location is perfect to enjoy the walking paths by the Shakespeare theatre and also to downtown area by foot. Thank you and keep up the good work!!!

I had to be in Stratford for work and the Arden Park was the best home away from home I could have asked for. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The beds and pillows are so comfortable. It's quiet and in a perfect location. I was close to work, close to downtown and I even took in a show at the Theatre that I walked to! Their staff is warm and welcoming and the food is wonderful in the restaurant. I would recommend this lovely spot to anyone visiting the area!

In general, all good hotel and room. Restaurant menu needs to be improved. Cesar salad needs to be improved or removed from menu. Too much cheese, too much dressing. Too little lettuce and what lettuce there was was swimming in the dressing.

After searching around the area, we found this hotel. We had no problems, the hotel had all we needed. Fantastic breakfast, great room, clean hotel. We felt safe and secure. Would definitely stay here again.

Recently my girlfriends and I stayed at BW in Stratford Ontario. We were greeted by Amelia at front desk who was able to assign us a suite for our group of 5. Worked out perfectly for socializing after a day of shopping. We chose to eat supper and breakfast at the restaurant at BW. compliments to the chef as our dishes were delicious! We will be returning next time in the area!

My daughters and I stayed in a 2 queen room for a trip that included going to the Festival Theater. The customer service was excellent and I received all the requests I asked for. There was lots of parking. Our room was clean but offered no view (we looked at a wall). We enjoyed lunch in the restaurant. I have stayed here in the past and would stay here again.

The Front Desk was helpful with a better proximity of the hotel to the Stratford theatre as well as restaurants in the area. Convenient parking is available. The recreational area was clean and the pool and hot tub were functional with a comfortable temperature.

We travel frequently to Stratford and always stay at the BW Arden Park Hotel. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, and we always enjoy our time here. There are many amenities to enjoy here. We appreciate that we are able to bring our small dogs with us when we travel. A huge bonus for us!

The best stay at any hotel we have ever been in. Every point of staff presented themselves with smiles and the upmost part of kindness that any customer could ask for. We were very comfortable and relaxed during our stay.

Big room in good condition. Helpful staff. Lots of parking. Pool large enough for decent swimming if not occupied by families (so early morning best). Restaurant/bar has reasonable selection and prices. Would stay here again. No problems at all during a week-long stay.

We stayed for 3 nights, hoping to attend a show at the Festival Theatre. Sadly the show was cancelled but the hotel is within walking distance to that theatre. The suite size was very spacious, jacuzzi tub was awesome and bed super comfortable. Good closet space. The fireplace was a lovely addition as it was chilly and rainy. Restaurant food ordered to room was delicious. Suite does not include dishes or utensils.

The room was not ready on time. The reception assured me that they would call me once it was, never got that call. Derailed our plans for that day since we were travelling with kids and our room became available 3 hours late.

We stayed at this hotel for wedding. We booked months ago and requested early check-in as the bus for the wedding was leaving before check-in. It was noted on our reservation. We called a week prior to the event to inquire again and were told to call back at 8:00 a.m. on the day we were to check-in. I called at 8:00 a.m. and an unpleasant woman answered the phone and then without saying "please hold" put me on hold for 10 mins. I thought it might have been an error so I hung up and called back again, again put on hold for 5+ minutes. When I finally got through, I explained the early check-in information we had received. The woman was was unpleasant, talked over me and told me I was wrong and that no one should have told me that. She told me to call back at 11:00 a.m. - I explained that 11:00 a.m. was cutting it close for us as we were travelling from Toronto and needed enough notice that we could check-in in time to get ready before the wedding. I also explained that she would be getting many requests for early check-in's this morning as we are all attending the same wedding and have the same issue. I asked if she could note my name and if she could call me back. She said she would but never called back. I called at 11:15 and was told I could have a room for 12:30. By the time we arrived in Stratford it was 2:00 p.m. and the bus came at 2:45 p.m. The hotel is nice but $171 (tax included) for a Best Western in April, in ~Stratford~ is ridiculous. There was some food on the carpet in our room and the sheets smelled funny - like unwashed linens. Not bleach. We also checked to see if there was a microwave in the room and the website listed one for King Rooms so we brought microwaveable food for a late night snack after the wedding. There was no microwave. Luckily a different concierge person offered to heat it up in the kitchen. I wouldn't stay here again.

I have to say that the staff are well trained, helpful most times and the place is clean and peaceful (no hockey teams running up and down the halls). The cook staff well, they would not make it into any cooking competition - plan to eat some place else other than breakfast. I have been to this place a few times and most times I am completely happy and give the place five stars. This time, I'd give it a 1 the lowest if not for the staff who wait on the breakfast staff who are 5/5 raised the score from 1/5 to a 2/5. Problems. During an event you are not allowed outside food if you want a reduced cost to book the venue. No problem and the prices are in your pocket a fair depth but you expect that at a hotel. The issue is the sandwiches are put together by some one who obviously is not going to eat the food otherwise they would put some quality into them. Fish and chips, properly named as you had to use a chisel to get to the fish from the batter outside, oh when I complained did they compensate me properly oh a buck or two on a 14 dollar plate. I guess cause I actually eat the fish (had to go back to the venue and I had to eat I was hungry). Beer: they see to have some deal with one product (no names) and that's all they have on tap, which blows if you want some other product on tap. They over charged my account with a credit card hold, now this is _NEW_ I have never seen this before and I have stayed here before minus 2/5 for the charge , minus 2/5 for the crap food and the last minus for lack of water bottles in rooms. So you are at their bar, they close food service at 9pm, need to say some food even would have been nice and not just a bag of chips. I had planned on a few pints with the mates but after starving all day not interested in just booze alone. There use to be bottles of water in the rooms as well, they are gone. Staff serving the food were not responsible for making it so I still tipped well when I got it and they the serving staff were the highlight. I found the front desk curt not to the point of rudeness but just not my cup of tea. Would I recommend you stay here, sure... Just don't eat here other than breakfast and don't get catering services from them if you have an event here. Internet fine (free), rooms clean, bathroom clean, etc.

I have stayed here annually for over a decade. The hotel is clean well managed and the staff excellent and friendly. Family friendly with a pool and lots to do in the town. If you stay order off the menu unless they fix the buffet. They were the only issues with this stay. I am hoping the issue will be corrected for next year.

The facility was in great shape, clean, organized and well kept! We actually had issues with our neighbouring guest the moment we arrived. It wasn't quiet hours yet and we were just getting to the room when another guest told us to be quiet as they were sleeping. This was the start of constant complaints that were automatically pinned on our room. There was a stairwell between our rooms and in one example there were 4 boys (about 17 years old) who weren't with our group came up the stairs making all kinds of noise as I was talking with the security guard. I did point this out but I am not sure this case was taken into consideration when I was charged because of "multiple complaints through the night". When we were asked to shut it down we did and went to bed so not sure that more complaints through the night were sole based on us. I think that this hotel needs to come up with a better plan to support teams, if you expect groups to just stay in their separate rooms and not gather then you are setting all your guest up for disappointment!

Only a one night stay but very enjoyable, the rooms are spacious and clean, mattress very comfortable, the pool was great. Restaurant on site is handy the staff are pleasant and accommodating, looking forward to our next stay.

The staff was great friendly definitely will stay again the pool and hot where really relaxing and the staff where really helpful and fun to be around the bar staff was fast and friendly and helpful to be around too

We brought 25 families to this establishment and stayed in the hotel for multiple nights and received many complaints from hotel staff and to the point of harassment for just staying in a hallway and having adult conversation. This was unacceptable and very unwelcoming towards all of us. I will not be looking at staying at a best western hotel until I receive an apology and refund for my 3 night stay. On top of that the hotel tried to apply a $100 noise compliant on myself which was really upsetting and not necessary

I had a great stay here. Travelled for work and found the hotel to be exceptionally clean - rooms were made up well, great amenities, close to anything you could possibly need during your stay. Would stay again when travelling for work. (seemed great for families too as kids were having a great time in the pool area)

On the anniversary of our first storm stayed night, we returned for a rather more leisurely visit. Amenities are excellent, staff are pleasant and competent, and all is as smooth as silk. We really like staying in this conveniently situated lovely hotel.

Although I gave top sores, but there are noise in the hotel should bright your notice. First is the Air Conditioner, it is make noise when sleeping, not very big though. Second is some teenager guests yelling and running in the hall way at late night. Keep waking me up.

A decent stay, however they aren't cleaning the rooms during your stay due to Covid. What's weird is, we're talking about a cleaning service...I just wanted a made bed and fresh towels, they didn't have to do anything else. Just throw on gloves and a mask and do what I'm paying for, please. Food was good. We ordered a pizza and it looked burnt, but it tasted great. The plumbing in our shower and tub was backwards. If you wanted hot water, you had to operate the cold tap. Room was comfortable, cozy and spacious

Awesome registration experience with Rachel at the hotel directly. Personal. She knew I wanted a Moms Night Away Alone. She helped me get what I wanted. The soaker tub could not have been deeper. The water could not have been hotter. Tons of space. Great bed. Clean room. Everything I needed. Again… what other hotel can you fill a tub as deep as you can physically need it without drowning, wide enough for your booty, and with water so hot you could use it for tea?! And it didn't run out?! Did I mention the tub?

Clean and excellent friendly service. Very accommodating even with Covid restrictions.Helpful and went out of their way to get anything you requested. Would definitely stay again and would recommend it to friends.

Our family looked for a night away and change of scenery. The Best Western Arden Park was a great experience. The King deluxe suite gave us plenty of space and amenities with a jetted tub and two TV's (we brought our Nintendo Switch and HDMI cable). We enjoyed a wintery nighttime walk down to the river with the bridges and lights. When the theaters are eventually open again, I expect this hotel is a favorite for visitors.

Everything you would want/expect in a hotel stay. Clean rooms. Great front desk staff assistance. Excellent food. Decent rate. Due to COVID, no maid service, no sit down dining, no pool usage, no fitness room usage, but that wasn't anybody's fault. I was never doubtful or hesitant to count on receiving whatever I asked for in a timely and quality fashion. Nice to not have to cross your fingers!

This was my second business trip to Ontario during September/October and I opted for BQ Arden park for the second trip and I am so very glad I did. The room was great! Very clean, quiet and easy access to the elevator. I do wish the curtains had closed in the room to block a bit of light. The restaurant in the lobby was a pleasant surprise with excellent food. I would love to stay again during a non-pandemic time so I can enjoy it while everything is operating normally. Highly recommend this hotel!

My wife and I wanted to do something different for New Years eve this year. We decided to spend a night with a candlelight amazing supper and followed with a great breakfast at the Arden Park hotel. The chefs and staff went above and beyound to make our stay a memorable one. The service from the friendly staff and food was amazing. Can't wait to experience this amazing stay at the Best Western Arden Park in Stratford, Ontario again. Thank you to the owner's and manager's for a job well done. Mike Paola

Very close to the Festival theatre but a bit far from downtown. Very comfortable bed. The fireplace in the room was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will request a room away from the ice machine next time, as it was very loud.

Lobby at Christmas was beautiful. Room was super clean. Bed Linens felt so fresh and clean. Because of Covid, there was just the Continental breakfast to go, but it was a very nice selection of breakfast items. I would definitely suggest this hotel to other family members and/or friends.

We stayed in a king room, it was very clean, the bathroom is nice size and was exceptionally clean and very nice!! Bed was very comfortable. We cant wait to stay here again. The lobby was very nice, clean and the staff were helpful and very pleasant.

Absolutely love this place for the restaurant as I have not stayed at the hotel as I am from Stratford! Same staff for years and years even now in covid times, that is always a good sign. They upgraded their menu this year and the fish and chips are amazing and from what everyone else says, they are always really pleased with their meals no matter what is ordered. Fantastic service, too, and after being there around 10 times in the past 2 or 3 years, it is always a great, great meal especially for the price. Again, I am from Stratford and this is the ONLY place I will eat when I want a meal out in the city. Going again for my post Christmas meal and can't wait! BTW I cannot speak for the hotel part, only the restaurant so I cannot answer the covid questions on that front.

Great hotel - location, staff, service - all perfect. Very glad they had an available Tesla Destination Charger! We were checked in promptly and offered a snack because of our loyalty status with Best Western. The room was spacious and well appointed. We'll be back!

Very nice hotel where I spent one night for business. Small town though had my dinner & breakfast at the hotel. Really good steak. Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable bed. The room really spacious with a Keriug coffee machine & fridge. Big bathroom with a big bath tub.

Very poor rating as there was no hot water for showers. We were there for 2 days & I reported the first day lack of hot water to the Front desk. The next day the same thing & in addition the toilet started gurgling & water backed up to the rim. I called the front desk & by the time they came with a plunger it had corrected itself & could flush. Stack needs a flushing out

Very clean and well-appointed room. Staff were very friendly. Good amenities available in the hotel for those wishing to use them. Following Covid-19 rules and regulations. Near to shopping malls and sight-seeing attractions.

This hotel is very accessible, (Main street, Ontario St.), with ample parking. Check-in and out were promptly and amiably processed. The layout was user friendly, being easy to move throughout the building. The rooms were large and well-appointed. There was an on-site restaurant that we ate at for Sunday brunch and Monday morning breakfast before checking out. The restaurant fare was very good. Service was friendly and attentive. Pricing was very reasonable. They had gone back to a buffet style breakfast, as of Monday, restrictions were loosened. We weren't sure if the buffet was included, as we have found at other BW properties. Although the buffet charge was not expensive and the offerings were excellent, at this price point, including the breakfast would be a suggestion. We would stay here again if the opportunity presented itself.

Despite Covid restrictions, this hotel was a great place to stay and enjoy Stratford. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The breakfast in the restaurant was good. All employees were friendly and helpful. I'll be back again. Thank you!

Our room was very clean, well stocked and welcoming. Due to the pandemic we were ginven a written notice of changes within the hotel to keep us safe and we very much appreciate the effort. Cleaning in the common areas could be seen every time we left our room. It was very comforting. We were asked for our vaccine documents in a curtious and professional manner.

Alex at the front desk staff was absolutely horrible. This was my daughters wedding and the hotel completely screwed up everything causing us to scramble to make this day the best we could. What did they do for us? a $25 discount on her room. ABSOLUTELY DIGUSTING. I will never support this company unless i have no other options.

I had a pleasant stay at The Arden Park in Stratford. Up to date amenities and great service from staff. Spacious rooms with windows that open! I particularly liked to complementary hot drinks at reception and the Business center. Internet quality needs improvements. Great location, a few minutes away from everything the city has to offer.

Checked in, and asked to pay for room by cash or debit. I was told that they could take payment for room and incidental hold by debit as at a previous stay had issues with this hotel with my credit card . When I went to check, not only did they use my debit card to pay for room and incidental hold, they also charged my credit card for the room, and put a hold on incidentals also. It went from room being $208 to being charged $416, and incidental hold of $300 for a total of $716. Asked for general manager to speak to me, but was told busy

Manager was rude and racially motivated to make me feel unwelcome. When given the opportunity to correct a cleaning issue with the room bill was barely adjusted and not all issues were corrected. Staff was wonderful but their leader should be fired

Fantastic suite, Attentive staff, great restaurant. You can walk from there to almost anywhere you'd care to visit. In a city that has a lot to recommend itself the Arden hotel the staff are first class.

Staying at Best Western Plus Arden Park hotel, was the perfect choice for our couples weekend getaway. Excellent customer service, large clean and quiet rooms, comfortable beds. I would go back again.

My daughters and I stayed here for the long weekend to do some touristy things and we had a great time. The hotel restaurant was wonderful and the pool was clean and warm. Staff are terrific! We will ve coming back again.

Overall the hote was well maintained and the serivce was friendly. The dining room offered great dinners and Curtis the bartender was an exemplary bartender and great company. The only problem we had is the stationary bike in the fitness centre was broken and was not repaired during my week long stay.(I did report it) They really should have been checking to make sure everything was working and in good order.Both I and my brother were counting on it and were very disappointed.

We stayed one night in this hotel. The room was renovated, quite pleasant, bed was comfortable, everything was very clean. The ventilation system was extremely noisy and kept turning on and off. The bathroom had a bathtub that is very deep and difficult to get in and out for a shower. Some of the grout on the bathtub tiles was missing. The toilet was very low and the toilet seat was loose. The sink was white but the toilet and bathtub were beige which suggests a partial renovation - maybe think about finishing it?? Staff was pleasant. The hotel is not in a park, as the name might suggest, it's surrounded by parking lot. The Stratford park system is about 10 minutes walk away. There is no where to eat outdoors, important in Covid times.

I stayed here with friends and family while we were in town for a soccer tournament. The rooms, service, staff and cleanliness of the rooms and hotel were all excellent! The staff is polite and very accommodating, everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Stratford.

A Group of 16 of us stayed here at the Arden Park Best Western for a Golf Vacation. Normally the discussion afterwards centre around the golfing venues, however on this trip the Hotel that we stayed at took centre stage. Extremely well run and very pleasant hotel to stay in Stratford, Ontario. I would highly recommend this to anyone for any type of trip.

We had drinks and supper in our room .. Rueben and Philly sandwich were delicious. Also ordered a breakfast wrap, that was too much for one ...We will be back....We were upgraded to a King suite, which was nice for a trip that you spend most of your time inside..

Hotel is very clean and well kept. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food ordered from their restaurant was very tasty. Hotel is located on a Main Street. Close to all other amenities. Plus in the summer time it is very close to all the summer festivals

The employees were pleasant. I had an easy going stay. But the cooling system was annoying overnight. It woke me up every hour. It also had a minor odour that i dislike that came from the cooling system from time to time. But Bed is comfy. Room is clean.

From entering the hotel you are greeted with the most professional staff and a very clean accommodation. With it being Easter and Covid having restrictions within Stratford, the staff made us feel welcome and went out of their way to help with any needs we had. The food is excellent and the rooms are relaxing, clean and the bed is very comfy, hot water from the shower instantly, myself and my son will be visiting again soon.

Quick, efficient check-in. Plenty of on-site parking. Pool and excercise facilities available. We found the room spacious and clean, wonderful pillows on the comfortable king-size bed, and hot water in the shower. What more can you ask for!

We came to the hotel to celebrate a holiday dinner . We rented the conference room and had the hotel catering prepare our meal. All the organization - starting the event coordinator , manager, food and hotel was amazing . The hotel is very clean, staff is extremely nice. We loved the pool and the hot tub, and the kids loved the hot coco at the lobby . Will defiantly come again.

Great service and friendly staff. The Hotel is modern and well maintained. The food and beverage service was great value for your money. The pool and hot were very clean and large. The parking was very accessible and free. There is a shopping mall on the next block as well as restaurants and fast food chains.

Went here for a weekend getaway, and I am glad I choose the Arden Park. The check in was fast. The staff was very friendly and helpful, which always makes a visit more enjoyable. I got a corner suite which exceeded my expectations. The pool and hot tub were could be reserved for one hour blocks per room. As such the pool was warm and clean, we enjoyed ourselves. Lots of parking and a restaurant on site, although it had a limited menu. Lots of free coffee in the lobby. I will go here again.

As with everyone else during the pandemic, we needed a break. We only live about an hour from Stratford but we simply wanted a night away to relax, unwind, swim and honestly, just not be at home. Truthfully, we booked a room as my husband couldn't go one more day with me whining about wanting to swim. We booked our swim time by calling the front desk about 4 days before we checked in and we were offered several different time slots to choose from. I would definitely recommend calling ahead to book a swim time if you want one, but not necessary! The restaurant was lovely as we had dinner, then stayed for breakfast in the morning. Both servers we had were a delight and truly joyful to be back working. Everything was honestly amazing and we couldn't have asked for a more incredible stay. Right from check-in to check-out, we felt valued and like they wanted us there! We will definitely be back just to unwind and relax in the beautiful town of Stratford (and if my husband gets annoyed of me asking to swim again). Andrea (Manager), you have done a great job with your staff and you should be absolutely delighted how much effort, love and attention they put into your hotel!

Stayed 1 night on March 13th with my partner and mother in law to escape the dust from home renovations. It was a last minute decision but worth every penny. The front desk staff at check in and check out were fabulous - friendly, courteous, helpful and accommodating. The hotel was very clean, organized and gave us a good overall impression. After a VERY long week of hard work, the beds in the room were like heaven to sleep in. And that bathtub!!! The tub alone made our stay worth any price. I am a tall woman (5'9") and to have a tub in which I could stretch out AND be covered by the water was pure luxury. We would absolutely recommend this hotel. Next stay we hope to have a bit more time to relax and enjoy the ammenities.

Extremely clean and well organized. Every aspect was top notch! All the COVID protocols were followed and the entire facility was impeccable! Room, bed and pillows were all amazing and I really liked the special feature of a heat lamp in the bathroom ceiling!!

The hotel is very clean and the staff is very nice and accommodating. When checking in I asked if there was any free upgrades, I was very pleased with the upgrade available and the staff member was very helpful with that. The room was great, very clean, modern decor, comfortable furniture. The breakfast is not complementary and since Covid they have changed to doing a take away breakfast that included yoghurt, fresh fruit, muffin and apple juice. They told us they would give these for free because it was family day! Breakfast was delivered by a hotel staff member within a few minutes and was very friendly. We definitely recommend!

My parents used to run a B & B in Stratford. Now that the house is sold I must stay in a hotel when I visit Stratford. Last year I stayed 5 times. The hotel is consistently clean. Staff are helpful. I was able to use the treadmill because I visited just prior to lockdown. On this trip I received a complimentary breakfast. For dinner I had butternut squash ravioli and it was exceptionally tasty! Although I travelled alone this time and didn't bring our dog I LOVE that our dog is welcome. To me The Arden Park s a perfect hotel and I recommend staying there.

The Arden Park Hotel is the only place we stay when visiting Stratford. The staff is amazing, the hotel is always clean and beds are comfortable. The location is great and close to many restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone planning a trip to Stratford area.

The hotel in general was pleasant apart from the foul smell due to the crop sprayers active at the time. The back of the toilet leaked quite excessively. The aircon was old and could not be adjusted (other than the temperature). The noise at night when it went on was extremely loud and distruptive which meant that very litte sleep was had :( Staff was friendly and helpful.

Nice staff, clean, well located. Last minute decision to go away for the nice weekend and wanted to keep safe. We were not disappointed, Hotel was great and we were close to downtown Stratford. Check in and out were quick and easy.

Hotel is very nice. Front desk staff and bartender quite friendly. Room was very nice. Coffee table was a bit dusty but nothing terrible. We found the the bed a bit uncomfy and the pillows but we are used to our bed at home. We wanted down time and that is what we got.

Very clean, attentive friendly staff, spacious rooms and conveniently located to down town Stratford and right at the exit of the park. Being a modern hotel there is an abundance of electrical outlets in the room great AC units and very quiet.

The facility was very clean with all of amenities.The management and staff followed all of the Covid protocols down to scheduling times for the usage of the pool. Our room was very clean with a large bathroom.

I spent two nights at the Arden Park while in a business trip. I found it to be well appointed and clean. The room was spacious, clean and quiet with a very comfortable bed. I enjoyed two great breakfasts at the hotel restaurant as well as a pleasant evening meal. The staff was professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend this venue.

With trips cancelled due to Covid 19, this short getaway seemed like a viable option. Felt very safe and comfortable at this hotel. Staff were all very friendly and efficient. Protective measures are clearly in place throughout. Restaurant onsite was wonderful too, as we felt safe there as well. The food was delicious and great, diligent staff. Close to beautiful parks to walk in and enjoy the gardens, art and waterfowl. Will plan on returning in the future!

Our travel plans landed on the cusp of the world beginning isolation. The hotel was a wonderful oasis a.d escape from that reality! The staff were all friendly and helpful, the rooms were comfortable and clean amd we used the pool amd hot tub everyday.

I always have a great stay at Arden Park. From the pool to the fitness room as well as a great location to walk to local shops and restaurants. My daughter and I had a great time swimming and doing some shopping, stopping to grab a bite to eat and relaxing watching TV when we were done with our excursions. I will return again for another fabulous getaway soon!!

Perhaps overlooked by incoming tourists to Stratford, the Arden Park ticks all the boxes: located near the main theatre, with a good price point, lots of parking, efficient and friendly staff. It's not just a no-frills accommodation. It's helpful to remind ourselves that, if we're using our hotel accommodation as a 'place to sleep' (vs. a part of 'the experience'), one would be hard-pressed to find a better fit.

We stayed here for an event at the nearby Stratford Country Club and enjoyed a winter walk through the park to the Festival Theatre - less than 10 minutes stroll away. The hotel seemed busy with families and visitors but we never had to wait for the elevator. and the room was very quiet. The room was spotless, linens fresh and lovely and bed very comfortable. We were upgraded to a suite (room 210) on arrival which was great as we were able to invite some family over for drinks in the living area - with an electric fireplace, tv and small fridge. The only slight negative was that the breakfast room was very busy on Sunday morning and we had to wait a bit for our meal.

nice clean rooms , bar restaurant downstairs has good food and drinks. easy walk down town for dinner if you like.(as long as it isn't -20) breakfast in morning is good no laser sliced bacon and price is comparable to any restaurant.

Nice comfortable Hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. Maintenance needed to be called due to a toilet malfunction when we first arrived, and maintenance came and handled everything quite quickly and efficiently. We were offered complimentary breakfast vouchers for our inconvenience, which we very much appreciated. We were very happy with our stay.

This is the second time my wife and I have stayed at this hotel. It is very clean and the rooms are well kept. This time we booked a suite with a sitting room and a separate sleeping area. The bathroom had a shower stall and a full jetted tub. We were there for the Yuk Yuks Winterfest event. The show included an amazing buffet dinner with tons of different things to eat. The dessert table was huge cakes pies tarts so yummy. Will be doing it again next year. Thanks to the Management and Staff for all their hard work.

If you are looking for very clean, friendly, affordable place to stay....this is it. One of the best affordable brunches you will ever have. Friendly staff, quick check in......even has a fridge in the room...bonus! Strongly recommend. Close to theatres, and many places to eat.

Loved this hotel. King deluxe room was huge! Super clean. Great food in restaurant. Loved the location. Will only stay at hotels with electric car charging. This place has two Tesla chargers. ICE car was parked at one charger which is not great for EVs especially in Stratford in a snow storm.

Nice property with a decent room and F&B. The front desk staff is absolutely obnoxious, unhelpful and uncaring. Unfortunately, I had to deal with the same “snippy” agent upon check-in and check-out. Such a poor representation of Customer Service that she should be fired. Obnoxious. Rude. Canceled the next scheduled trip and moved down the street to Mercer Hall. Good luck!

We stayed at this hotel on December 26th, 2019 and had a great experience. It is a beautifully built hotel from the lobby to the pool, restaurant and guest rooms. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the staff is great.

Great room and staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was easy to find. Room was very clean and well laid out. Everything functioned well and we did not have a single problem. Bed was very comfortable; had a great nights sleep. Will stay again.

best Best Western I have stayed at. Lovely decor, clean rooms, helpful staff. Just wish the smokers weren't puffing away at the entrances. As a severe asthma and COPD sufferer, it makes walking through the stinky haze very concrening for me. Hockey tournament time is a nightmare, ask for a room away from the families.

Spent one night here over a weekend while in Stratford to see a play. This is probably the best property in town for families with kids. It is conveniently located and has good amenities. We had the bed and breakfast rate, which allowed us to have the buffet - basic, but served the purpose. Service was excellent, and the room was spacious and clean. As others have commented, the downside is that the property attracts large groups, especially sports teams. There were kids out in the hallways until late at night, and the pool was quite crowded. My son had hoped for a quieter swim the next morning, only to find out that the facilities were closed due to "unforeseen circumstances" - likely a case of a kid fouling the pool. It's a shame that others can be so inconsiderate.

Very very clean & spacious rooms. Excellent night sleep. Excellent breakfast downstairs...good food , good prices & excellent wait staff. Highly recommend this place. Good for one night or several nights. Not far from downtown & very close to Theatre.

Everyone from reception desk to the lounge was friendly and helpful. Clean rooms and great location. Lots of parking. Unfortunately, no electric charging was visible. Food in the lounge was good and reasonably priced.

cost of room, only to listen to 10 yr olds yelling and screaming running up and down the halls having the time of there lives like they had never been let out of the house, the parents apparently disowned them for the night, no respect for other guest at all , could not seem to get near the pool or hot tub, as it was packed beyond capacity with kids , rooms apparently are not sound proof this includes suite too, ruined a perfectly nice night away to enjoy a play and dinner

The Arden Park in Stratford is a great destination. The rooms are large and tastefully appointed. The staff is consistently pleasant. The dining and leisure facilities are above average. Its location near the main Stratford Shakespeare Festival theatre makes it even more convenient.

We stayed at this hotel after an afternoon musical performance. We arrived in time for a lovely Buffet meal. The choices were many, nicely set out, and delicious. Our room was perfect - very clean and attractive. We would definitely stay here again. The bed was very comfortable so we had a very restful sleep. The accessible shower was very safe and perfect for our needs.

My overall experience at this hotel was excellent. The staff were courteous and efficient. The room exceeded my expectations and was terrific. The in-house restaurant was a nice surprise. The daily special was very good and reasonably priced and service was excellent. Sunday brunch is top-notch. The pool area is very nice. Unfortunately, it was closed for a while. I will definitely return!

The perfect hotel for our visit. We were able to walk to our first theater venue in the afternoon and in the evening we grabbed a cab since it was not nice out and we didn't feel like driving, parking and walking any distance to the theater.. We liked the hotel so much we decided to stay for a second night.

The hotel was full of hockey families and kids. We were kept up at night until 1:30 am. Kids were running up and down the hallways yelling and slamming doors. Front desk said they were sending someone up when we called at 12:15 am but the noise never stopped.... The next morning when I said something to the front desk she somewhat brushed me off!

When I entered this hotel and saw the clean spacious lobby, and then saw my attractive and clean room, I was all set to give this a five-star rating. However, despite the cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms, I am regrettable forced to deduct two stars for the following reasons. As a large corporation, Best Western should be better attuned to environmental/sustainability issues. All the drinking "glasses" in the room are single-use plastics, themselves wrapped in plastic. While I have no problem wrapping clean drinking ware in plastic for sanitary reasons, we are all now well attuned to the problems surrounding single use plastics. This hotel should be using washable glasses instead of plastic cups. Second, our room was near the elevator on the third floor. Large groups of young teenagers gathered outside the elevator and were partying well past 9:30. We called the front desk who said they'd address the issue. They didn't. Ten minutes later we called a second time. The front desk apologized and said they'd address the issue. They didn't. After the third call I waited for a manager to arrive who seemed finally able to disperse the youngsters. Kids will be kids, but the hotel has an obligation to ensure that guests get what they mostly want out of a hotel stay - cleanliness and quiet. This hotel failed on the quiet front.

I stayed at the Best Western Plus (The Arden Park Hotel) the first week in November and it was my first time staying here. Overall the hotel is very nice and well kept. It is perfect for conferences, large dinners, receptions, etc. Good parking is a bit limited, but there is sufficient parking in the rear of the hotel albeit a bit dark in areas and needs better lighting. The only problems I experienced were with bugs. Several in fact. Three flys all on seperate occassions and one silverfish. My first sighting was in my food one morning for breakfast when I saw a fly swimming in my syrup that I had just put on my pancakes. The second was in my room when a large fly was on the wall, the next day another fly in my room, shortly after followed by a silverfish on the floor. I don't think I've ever had that many bug experiences at one visit to a hotel. So if you are afraid of bugs beware, as you may encounter some. On a good note though the hotel is large, and very nice. I stayed in a suite on the forth floor and it was in excellent condition and like a small apartment. I would return to the Arden Park Hotel, but would appreciate some better bug control in place.

This hotel is a reasonably good place to stay in Stratford. It is better than many locations in town and offers better value than many. The hotel itself is well maintained and the staff are friendly and accommodating.

We never really associated the best western with quality and somewhat luxury, so we never stayed at one before. This stay really changed our minds. The staff really went out of their way to be accommodating to us, from the front desk to the dinning room. We had our Chihuahua with us and we kept him with us in the lobby while we waited and in common areas. The staff even made our dog feel at home. It was a lot of fun for him. The hotel has everything you would want from K-Cups in the room and including a restaurant that serves amazing meals. We had planned to eat out of the hotel, but during the two days we never did because we couldn't wait for the next meal. They have meals that will fit most budgets. The specials are the best!! We came to see a play and its literally a 5 minute drive to the theater. Aside for the play we also came to enjoy the pool and hot tub. We came mid week and we had both to ourselves. We never had to share. The hot tub was hot and the pool was heated. We also snuck our chihuahua into the pool lounge and put him on a chair. We were going to bring him back to the room if anyone came into the pool area, but no one did. So he was really spoiled. The hot tub is designed to offer some privacy. It is not totally closed in as it appears in the picture, but it was really nice. We definitely found our new go to hotel to get away from the stress of our lives. We again want to say a HUGE thank you to the customer service team for going above and beyond. They deserve a pat on the back. Also, the beds were really comfortable and the pillows are the best we have ever had at any hotel. We would love to know where to buy them because they are much nicer than our pillows at home. We can't wait to our next visit :-)

We stayed in a deluxe suite and thought is was clean and spacious. Staff were very friendly. Lots of parking. 10 minute walk to Festival theater. Enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant the next day. I would stay here again.

This hotel is in an excellent location for the Festival Theatre in Stratford. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable with good quality beds and bedding. Staff were efficient and courteous. Overall very good value for the price.

Clean, modern with indoor pool and hot tub. Ample parking. 5 story building is Plain and simple exterior but Interior is open with high ceilings in lobby. Small lobby with 10 or so comfy chairs. Bar and Restaurant, pool off lobby. Roméo restaurant is across the street. The Bruce is on the same block.

If you want a late check out make sure you request it during housekeeping working hours. I was traveling with my 90 ear old mother and knew she would need extra time in the morning. Front desk would not leave a message about this with housekeeping who need to approve it. I tried 3 different times and was dealt with rudely each time.

This Best Western Plus had many great surprises - a short (less than ten minutes) walk to the Stratford Festival and rooms were large, well appointed and very well laid out. Hotel offers a bar and restaurant as well. Had a slight misshap with our bill, but was rectified quickly. Would gladly stay again!!

We stayed the night prior to a workshop we were attending. Check in was quick and there was no problem when we asked for a room change so we wouldn't be next to the elevators and ice machine. Room was super clean, nicely appointed, and very comfortable. Full bath and large fridge as well as a huge tv. I used the pool for lengths in the morning and it was perfect...I was the only one there...nice hot tub as well! Will definitely stay here next time we are in Stratford!

We have stayed at this property multiple times over the past twenty years and are never disappointed. All hotel employees are friendly and helpful. The hotel room is comfortable, and the hallways are typically very quiet in the evening. While there are certainly a lot of lodging options in Stratford, this has been and continues to be our first choice.

This was my second stay here and both were enjoyable. I could walk to the Festival Theater for my daytime shows and I also walked to the other theaters, though the 1.5 mile trip is probably too long for most theater-goers. The bed was honestly the most comfortable bed I have slept in and even better than my tempurpedic at home. The gym was a bit small for me to do a HIIT routine - it is better if you are just interested in using the weight machines and treadmills. The food at the restaurant was just so-so but it was convenient.

Excellent location about 5-7 minutes walk to the main Festival Theatre. Large well appointed rooms in very good condition and very well maintained by housekeeping. Had a pizza and beer in the lounge last night ( it was pouring rain out so no desire to venture downtown), and an omelette and coffee the following morning in the dining room. Both meals very great! Stayed last year at the Parlour Inn downtown and it too was excellent. Close to the stores and the Avon Theatre. Still walkable to the Festival Theatre if the weather cooperates. This year I opted for the Arden Park which is out of the downtown but near the Festival Theatre. Either is a great choice. No issues at all at the Arden Park. I requested a room on a higher floor in a quiet area and they delivered. Only suggestions - replace Sweet and Low sweetener (cyclamate -yuck!) with Splenda, and Coffee Mate ( back to the 70's?) with individual creams that can be kept in the room fridge.( several brands last a month). I would also suggest Rubbermaid style bath mats for the tub - despite the pebbly finish, it is still slippery. The Bruce Hotel next door is Stratford's upscale hotel, but I saw no need to upgrade from the great room and service offered at the Arden Park.

My BFF & I enjoyed our hotel stay at the Arden Park. At time of booking we didn't realize we were getting a 2 Queen beds suite. This was only room available although we booked early in the year for September. Was a pleasant surprise upon arrival for only a few dollars more, cost shared between 2 of us it was worth cost. Room was clean, linens crisp & bed comfortable. Wound stay here again.

This is our second time using this hotel for our stay in Stratford. It's nice to be just outside the downtown core but close enough that you still get that in-town feeling. I highly recommend the suite style rooms. And a lovely 10-15 minute walk from down town.

We have stayed here many times while visiting the Festival in Stratford. The rooms are always clean and quite and the staff are always friendly. The suites are very large and some have separate comfortable living rooms.

We booked the deluxe king suite, which is spacious and well suited to week long stay. The couch and bed are extremely comfortable although the lack of a make-up mirror was disappointing. Room was clean and fresh smelling.

Great hotel however, make your reservations directly with the hotel as outside service was terrible. Hotel personnel were great, very hospitable, great food. Clean hotel, good location, overall service was great.

Well decorated rooms. Good heat/air controls. Comfortable beds and pillows with extra blankets. Our king suite had a fridge ( not one of those liquor cabinets with no room) Excellent restaurant . Comfortable lounge. Indoor pool. Friendly people. Lots of parking . Coffee and newspapers in the lobby for free. A short walk to the Festival theatre . A short drive to Good Life yo work out.

We stay at the Arden Park every time we visit Stratford, which is once or twice a year. Great setting close to the theaters, and welcoming staff. We especially appreciate the roomkeeping crew who not only make all things fresh and clean but do so with smiles on their faces. We love the Arden Park!

Great location for a comfortable stay of a few days. The personel were welcoming, informed and agreeable. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The restaurant was handy, but other restaurants in town were of better quality. Unforunately, information on the website was incorrect.

We have been coming to Stratford for many years. The Best Western Plus Arden Park Hotel is the ONLY place we stay. Great atmosphere, clean rooms, everything is seems brand new every time you go there. This is a very well run hotel and you can see that everywhere with the small touches.

Desk staff was very helpful in solving a problem with our reservation to get us started. The restaurant staff and housecleaning staff were very helpful with the special requirements of my wheelchair bound wife. Very well maintained and the food is well prepared.

We have stayed here four or five times on our visit to Stratford for our annual dose of theatre. Prices are reasonable; the facilities are clean and well-maintained; easy access to theatre venues (walking or by car), and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Stayed in a king room for two nights on a visit to the Stratford Festival. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom had lots of counter space and a wonderful deep bathtub. Enjoyed swimming in the pool. Perfect location as it is within easy walking distance to the Festival Theatre and about 20 minutes walk from downtown. Also close to shopping and less pricey food options. Parking was included. Staff are friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.

The Arden Park is a great place to stay in Stratford, combining quiet excellent accommodations with a superb restaurant. The swimming pool and fitness center are spotless and provide enjoyable amenities- pool and spa. Restaurant food and service were outstanding and convenient. We've enjoyed other restaurant in Stratford, and this ranks with the best of them.

We were in town to see the Shakespeare and other plays. Stayed 3 nights. We had been to the Arden Park Best Western before, and liked it, and it has not changed. It is a bit on the pricey side, though far from the most expensive in town. Front desk personnel were quick and helpful. Room was quite clean, though clean-up was done mid-to-late afternoon. Everything worked. Breakfast was good, though not quite as good as previous years. Omelette was fine, though a bit big and cheese was not the most tasty. The Canadian (or peameal) and egg English muffin was very good. The late night bartender was welcoming and friendly, and recalled us from previous visits. Note that they have a small shop on one side of the desk where you can purchase small snacks or sundries from the front desk personnel at any time - very convenient.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay at The Best Western Arden Court in Stratford. The service was outstanding with Brittany and Kayla both going above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of! Thank you both!

This was the worst customer service experience I have had at a hotel. My family and I stayed at this hotel for a family wedding. The wedding venue was a 45min drive from the hotel. My mother was unable to use a credit card to reserve her room. She called ahead and informed the desk that she would be using a debit. They did not tell her there would be a $200 deposit hold for the room. With the cost of the room - it was $465. So when she arrived at 1:30am after being the Photographer of a wedding all day!!! She had to deal with the debit issue AND they made her wait in the lobby for 45min for her room. They also did not tell her when her room was ready. She had to ask. This was very degrading. And completely unacceptable for 1:30AM! My boyfriend and I arrived at our hotel room at 2am. The front desk called our room at 9AM by mistake. This woke us up so we were unable to sleep in after being up very late. Then they came to our room at 10:30 by mistake because they thought we had already checked out. I told the front desk about the interruptions and they apologized by giving us two breakfast coupons. These coupons were limited to a set breakfast - NOT to be used for the full brunch. These rooms were expensive. Unorganized. Unacceptable. Extremely disappointed! Ridiculously expensive for such lack of professionalism.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and the suites are fabulous. Overall environment was very quiet, even thought hotel was full. It is within walking distance of downtown Stratford, the river, and the Festival Theatre. The air conditioner in the room was a bit noisy.

Our first time staying here and were favorably impressed with this hotel. Check-in and Check-out were handled smoothly. Our room was spacious, clean and for most part comfortable--mattress was a bit soft for my liking. Enjoyed the convenience of having a restaurant within the hotel. The food is good and prices are We appreciated having towels in the pool area too.The only thing I noticed was that the pool and Jacuzzi tiles were rather dirty. Throughout our stay, we found the staff pleasant and helpful. Would recommend this hotel to others and would return for another stay.

The Arden Park is a lovely hotel, within walking distance to the Festival Theatre, shopping and dining. The hotel is clean, comfortable (they have pretty good hot chocolate in the lobby), and the staff from the front desk to the restaurant and housekeeping are friendly, and attentive, and do all they can to make a visitor's stay as pleasant as possible.

We were so impressed with our first stay at the Best Western Plus Arden Park Hotel. It's by far the nicest, cleanest hotel we've found in the city. Upon check-in, we were told that we were being upgraded from the standard room we booked to a deluxe king suite--and that we were getting a rate that was cheaper than the one we got online! This was a lovely surprise. Front-desk staff were friendly and efficient. The rooms are fresh, spacious, clean and well-designed. Very quiet and comfortable. Lots of free parking. You can't do better than this in Stratford!

The hotel was very nice. The room was spacious. The mattress was old and uncomfortable. I left jewelry in the room and called 45 mins after checking out to report it. I was advised the room was already cleaned an nothing was found. We checked luggage everything and not here but certainly remember removing the earrings, putting on the bed stand. Called back, was told they could not longer help I should talk to housekeeping and still waiting for a call back.

My family and I stay at many hotels throughout the year and this was our first Best Western experience. 10 Front desk -helpful, friendly -helped me sign up for Best Western reward program -answered any questions willingly ( you know some other hotels rush in the check in process, not this place) 10 Accommodations: King Suite -clean and spacious -fridge and microwave plus sink on the counter area ( google hotel for various pictures for each room available) -bathroom has shower and jetted tub -nice lemon scented toiletries provided -Separate king bedroom -pull out sofa bed -no safe 10 Pool/Fitness area -big, lots of seating -towels always available and stocked -CLEAN -washroom to shower off in for both genders also very clean -hot tub spacious and relaxing -maintenance regularly checked levels of pool and hot tub when we were there (great attention to detail) -Fitness area has adequate machines 9 Restaurant -experienced weekday lunch -good lunch specials -many servers (at least 3-4 I counted) -busy so service was off to a slow start -food was good for the price 10 Housekeeping -clean room -asked for help at front desk to help with the sofa bed before going to dinner, when we returned it was set up with the extra blankets we requested -asked for more soap and was provided 10 Overall -we would book again when visiting Stratford -great friendly staff- Well done, Best Western!

The Arden Park Hotel has become our preferred location when planning an annual visit to the Stratford Theatre Festival. This well appointed facility is perfectly located, with comfortable rooms, pet friendly and courteous and friendly staff. There is ample free parking.

We had a great time! They catered to my special mobility needs) with a raised toliet seat, bathtub mat, and shower seat. Every staff member was friendly, cheerful and efficient. Will stay there again if ever in Stratford again.

The best western was a beautiful hotel. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. There was a deep soaking tub and lots of clean towels The staff were all very friendly and pleasant. I definitely would recommend staying there.

Sunday morning buffet, everything you could want. Attentive, competent staff, quick with refills and busing the table. There was 18 of us and we felt special in the 3yes of the staff. Food was excellent and plentiful. Delicious!!

Although our stay was short the hotel met our needs perfectly. Had an excellent dinner with five friends excellent waiting service which rounded off our day. .Had a restful nights sleep without any disturbance.

First things first, the rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable which is what everyone wants. Beyond that, its proximity to the Festival Theater is outstanding. It is walking distance to downtown; although, there is ample parking in the downtown area so a five minute car ride is easy as well. The best part is that its next door neighbor is the highest rated hotel in town but the Arden Park's almost identical location comes at a fraction of the cost.

Very clean with friendly staff. The rooms are nicely decorated with very comfortable beds and pillows. We ate both breakfast and dinners in the restaurant. We enjoyed our meals and the wait staff were very helpful and friendly.

We came to Stratford to see a matinee performance of Billy Elliot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely come back! Clean, modern rooms with a Keurig machine and refrigerator! Friendly staff, nice restaurant, indoor pool...awesome!

Nice clean Hotel within walking distance to the Stratford Festival Theatre and Park. The room was big and comfortable. My only negatives for the Hotel are (1) the pillow are too high for comfort (2) Too much chlorine used in the pool area. Wanted to use the pool but the smell of chlorine caused me to cough, so I never used the area! (3) for the high room rate being charged, they could at least offer a complimentary breakfast ?

My friend and I attended the Stratford Shakespeare Festival and stayed at The Arden Hotel. This is the perfect hotel because it has a great location very close to all of the venues. The hotel is located on Ontario Street, which is the main road through the town. The Arden's rooms are large, well-appointed and very clean. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and never hesitated to be helpful. We got a package with breakfast included which was a buffet. We didn't want to go anywhere and we just wanted coffee and toast or a sweet roll. Now, this isn't a deluxe buffet but it was adequate and again, a very clean dining room. The servers were friendly and kept the coffee and tea coming. We really liked staying there, we felt safe and the rooms were quiet and included a nice refrigerator and a Kuerig. We both have one complaint, the toilets were the lowest possible models I have ever seen. This hotel caters to an older crowd and getting up and down was a challenge! As they need replacement, I sure hope they get a higher model!! Great job, Arden staff!!

Stayed at the Best Western Plus The Arden Park Hotel over the weekend. There were many weddings happening there and in the area. Was very busy all over, but was well managed and flowed well. Will for sure consider coming back here again.

Nice pool, nice lounge, nice room Nice gym, nice free Vanhoute coffee machine in the lobby. Breakfast is the only concern. If the buffet is not available, might expect longer delays. The room condition is often dryer then it should be. Though to breath overnight.

Two theatre buff friends spent 3 nights at this hotel while we went to three plays, shopped and ate. The hotel was lovely. The only downsides were the pool was not open and no explanation was given and there was no B & B option. There is a sizable restaurant, but breakfast was al a carte. But the room was spacious and the bed comfortable and the bathroom was clean. So what more did we really need when we headed out in the morning and came back at night?

In all my years staying the Arden Park Hotel (shifting to become a Best Western property a few years ago), I've never had the chance to try the Sunday brunch. With a slight change to my schedule, that was remedied on this trip for Stratford Festival's opening week. The setup is somewhat unusual. If seated in the main dining room or the lounge, guests must walk down the hall to the banquet room to fill their plates. Those who are part of groups--mostly weddings or corporate--sit together at longer tables, just a few feet from the culinary delights. Beginning at 12;30 p.m., I found the salads somewhat tired and the unpeeled shrimp a bit of a nuisance. The made-to-order omelet was a touch overdone, but otherwise very tasty. The roast beef needed heaps of gravy to cover the dry, tough slices; the ribs and mashed potatoes were much better. How wonderful (and exceedingly rare these days) to find the dessert bar loaded with cherries, floating on whipped cream and anchored by graham wafers! Overall, lots of variety but nothing really exceptional.

Good spot for a quick night and but not the best of best westerns chain. Breakfast not included nor offered as part of room price according to reception. Even tho online shows that it can be added. $$

Price of hotel and restaurant, all very reasonable. Location excellent. Close to all venues of the Stratford Festival. We have been staying here for many years and have never ever been disappointed. Rooms are clean, quiet, large, beds very comfortable, wi-fi very fast. In other words, the PERFECT place to stay if you are visiting the Stratford Festival.

Recently stayed 4 nights at this hotel for a conference. Everything from beginning to end was excellent. The room was comfortable, especially the bed! Ate all meals here and was impressed by the quality and cost. Even the meals for the conference ( almost 500 people) were great. All staff was friendly and helpful. Would recommend this to all.

Spent 4 nights at the hotel and the rooms were clean with good service. Food excellent and servers really earned their pay. We had 490 people eating at the convention. They were able to set up rooms quickly. The restaurant in the hotel had excellent food with great friendly service, along with the bar. Would recommend if stopping in Stratford to catch a play. We saw Billy Elliott and it was excellent.

Stayed at the Arden Park for five nights. Great facilities and well laid out. The friendly, helpful service started at the front desk during check in and continued with the bar servers and maids. The room was great. Good mattress, plenty of pillows and the rain shower was a nice upgrade! Would not hesitate to stay here again.

I was very pleased with the young lady at the desk that assisted me as the place I had planed on staying did not answer their messages, she was empathetic to my frustrations and it was around 9pm and I just wanted a place to sleep and study for a test that I had the following morning. Great service, clean room newly renewed and quiet.

The Arden Park is high quality accommodation at reasonable prices situated in a great location for Festival goers. It is above average in quality and amenities and a short stroll from the main theatre.

Bar was great place to hangout, play cards, watch ball game. Free coffee in lobby was nice way to start my day, great selection of coffee, freshly ground beans!!!

We always stay at the Arden hotel in Stratford whenever we are there for a visit or going to the Theatre. The rooms the staff and the food has always been good. We recommend staying at this longtime favourite.

Three friends from afar decided to catch up in Stratford and were very pleased with the Best Western. I personally always stay BW and this was one of the best. Easy friendly check in, Our rooms were very large, were stocked with everything except a microwave to soften the Brie. We managed. The dining room had great service and great food. Loved listening to our lovely server's Irish accent. We shared one piece of pecan pie which was amazing but there will be no sharing next time! Highly recommend this hotel.

We always try to stay at this hotel as it has never disappointed and is located in great proximity to the Festival Theatre and other attractions. No exception this time around. We took advantage of the lounge the first night and found a very friendly server (Curtis) who made the stay very enjoyable. Room was excellent, very clean and well maintained. Pool was great temperature and very nice deck. Jaccuzi was very relaxing and good and hot! Complementary coffee/expresso/hot chocolate always available in the lobby in addition to the Keurig in the room

When all was falling apart and we were about to leave without seeing Billy Elliot at the Festival Theatre, Michelle from F & B saved our vacation. This ideally located pet friendly hotel will see us annually. This was our second stay and it can't be beat.

Hotel is nicely decorated, location is ok, a little pricey for a small town hotel. Restaurant food was good, again a little pricey. Service is good, high speed internet works fine, free parking is good, staff are courteous

Stayed in Best Western Arden Park Hotel for a weekend getaway from the city. I was genuinely impressed at how beautiful the hotel was. All the furniture clearly hand crafted and the room was very modern/clean. The hotel's restaurant was of very high quality and had a great selection of Canadian food. Very close to the city park and theatre. Highly recommenced. I will be coming back very soon!

This hotel is a much nicer hotel than the hotels I stay in Toronto, but a much less cost. My room was considerably larger than a lot of rooms, as well as extremely comfortable. The staff was always polite and helpful, especially when I used the business centre.

I have been attending a convention every year at the same time for more than a decade and the hotel has maintained its excellence. The entire property is well maintained and both the common areas and the rooms still look as fresh as a newly built hotel. The room is well appointed, tastefully decorated, clean, and very roomy. The food/beverage service in the restaurant, lounge and what was available for our convention was of great quality, generous proportions and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I would highly recommend the Arden Park and would not hesitate to go back there again.

This hotel is very nice. Larger than normal hotel rooms, a very nice bar and lounge, and the most friendly helpful front desk staff. The pool looked lovely too ,but no time to try it. The meals in the restaurant were very reasonable.

Stayed Nov 2-3, 1 night only, and it was the best in Stratford. I would stay here again. Friendly check in/out, room was clean, bathroom was huge. There was a hockey tournament going on that weekend, and they warned us and told us to call if we were disturbed during the night. We never heard anything. But it was a nice touch they did this. The restaurant on site is pretty good. We did the buffet breakfast. Totally worth the price. Location is not too far from the theatres. It's about a 20 min walk, which is nice. I would stay here again, and ONLY here going forward.

Love the amenities, location, food and friendly staff. Looking for a little rest and recreation while combining business and pleasure the Arden is my go to hotel in Stratford. Great location on the fringe of the world-class park system and Shakespearean Festival Theater soon to be joined by a new Third Stage. Easy walk to downtown and the Avon Theater as well. Comfortable room to retire after theater, pool and jacuzzi and late night drinks. Enjoyed the steaks on the menu and Sunday they have carved beef. Exercise room is adequate but you should get enough exercise walking around town. Overall a nice hotel and great value especially if you join the Best Western Club which you can do on sign-in.

I had not been in this part of the world for almost 20 years, and due to a family emergency I had to make my way to Stratford ... I had forgotten how small Stratford was, and limited hotel options ... So I was glad I found this hotel ... located about a mile down on the main street of Stratford, the location can't be beat ... I arrived around 2 pm and was nicely greeted and given my room right away ... The room itself is huge ... compared to some other hotels I have stayed in around the world. The bathroom is large too. I would give the hotel a perfect mark if it wasn't for 1 thing ... The curtains don't close (see pics) so the glaring light from the outside invades the room at all times ... at night I saw red all night since the hotel sign is reddish in color and the light came right thru into the room, at first I thought I had forgotten to close the curtains .. when I went to close them I noticed that they don't close ... so the window is only covered by a light white soft curtain ... I wish the hotel would say that on the website so I could have brought a sleeping mask to get away from the glaring amount of light. it made for a long night !!! out of exhaustion i was able to fall asleep but the light woke me up at the crack of dawn. I did not bother to ask for a different room since it was already late and I need to try to get rest. Paid $140 CAD for the one night including taxes bit pricey for such a little town, but then again its the only big hotel chain in the area so they can charge basically whatever they want ... check out was a breeze took all of 30 seconds ... the hotel offers free parking too and free wifi which worked great.

Very nice place. Rooms are large and clean. Staff is great, friendly and willing to help. They're is a restaurant in the hotel but I have not tried it. Pool and gym on site. Plenty of parking and close to everything.

Didn't know what to expect when I booked, but from the moment I arrived, I was happy I was staying there. The front desk was friendly, even letting us check in early. The double room was clean, spacious, and up to date. The pool was small, but the kids were happy. There was plenty of parking. I would absolutely stay here again.

Brought my grandkids to the hotel to enjoy the pool and hot tub since we were planning some outings in the area the next day. The rooms are a nice size. Unfortunately I had to bring my own play pen since they didnt have cribs for my grandson. Would have been nice to have a breakfast included in the rate that we paid. They have a mini fridge which was great to keep milk cold for kids but no microwave to heat anything up. They have them available for an extra $10 charge??!! They let us stay a bit past check out so that my husband could meet up with us. If I come back to the area I probably would consider their hotel again.

Hockey tournament brought a gang of parents drinking something from McDonald's cups at 9:30. 12 of them hanging around like a bar. My 8 year old didn't want to swim as it was too loud. My alarm went off beside my bed at 6 am and woke us up, ruined our ski plans for the next day as we were too tired.

Everything was handled just right, & the room suited us, the mattresses on the beds were nice & firm. We had breakfast in the dining room and were pleased with the ambiance, the food and the service. All the staff were very friendly & helpful.

Arden Park Hotel is centrally located in the town of Stratford. Great service at both the front desk and at the restaurant. Just had breakfast at the restaurant but it was great. Redeemed points for the stay and the process was seamless

I travel frequently and have stayed at several Best Westerns. Kitchener & London are awful but Stratford is fantastic, you wouldn't know it is the same chain Nicely decorated rooms and lobby, clean, lots of amenities like free newspaper, free coffee in the lobby and great staff. 2 elevators and lots of parking but appears there are only 2 accessible spots. Being an asthmatic and COPD sufferer, I wish the smoking areas were not directly outside the front and side exit/entry doors. Nice towels and sheets, good soaps and shampoos etc. Love the jetted tubs in some of the rooms. Ironing board and steam iron in closets. Coffee machine in every room with powdered milk. Fridge can sometimes be noisy so I turn them down or off. Heating/a.c. system was loud too, woke me up all night. No luggage rack, ask for one at check in. Too bad they have to have the theft proof hangers in the closets, they can be tricky to manipulate. No Weather Network station on the t.v. which was astonishing this being a tourist town. I've had breakfast in the dining room a couple of times and the poached eggs were very good. Unfortunately, dreadful Mother Parker's tea bags so I bring my own. I like to sit in the bar area though as there can be a lot of noisey children attending hockey tournaments in the winter. Prepay to save $$, rates vary widely depending on senior, CAA or accessible rate. It's pays to be a member to gain points.

So it was a very cold January day had an early meeting new potential customer, not sure where to pick as a motel came in early because of the weather, tooooo nasty to go back out I was very surprised at the quality of the buffet salad bar it was great the room was clean spacious and well appointed not at all what i expected from a Best Western -- go to place going forward

This is a terrific place to stay if visiting Stratford. While nothing is really all that far away in this town, the hotel offers everything you might need during your stay in one spot. The staff due a great job maintaining the high standards of Best Western; for example, it seemed there was constantly a staff member with mop in hand trying to keep up with the snow, ice and salt carried into the lobby. The Sunday brunch has been a family favourite for many years, and is not to be missed.

I stay here periodically for work and the staff is always friendly, rooms are clean and the amenities are great at this hotel. Breakfast is served here - which is great in the off season no other hotels do breakfast. Front desk is always helpful about local things to do when I am not working and so friendly.

Had a meeting to attend in town and wife stayed back to enjoy the fitness center. They gave us a late check out so that she didn't have to rush. The only improvement could be maybe 1 more server in the lounge area for wing night. Just a little slow but the food was great.

A great place to go for a Sunday brunch buffet and reasonably priced. I would go back again and again and again. Friendly staff, clean and tidy hotel, fairly good service and a wide range of hot and cold items with salad bar for the buffet. Good job!!!

I recently stayed at the Arden Park Hotel by BW. From the speedy check in, friendly staff and amazing food; it was an excellent experience overall! Would definitely recommend this property and definitely will be back!

The stay at this hotel would have been perfect if it wasn't for the outside noise of constant banging during the night that kept us awake and kept us from getting up early to enjoy the rest of the amenities the hotel had to offer

We did the gala evening couple package for 399 per couple which included room, dinner for two and breakfast buffet following morning. This was a great way to bring in the new year. Good food, nice room , the evening was enjoyable with an excellent band called the New Boys. Great band!!! Very dance able music. A nice night to get dressed up and dance. Well done. We will go back.

We just returned home from our third NewbYears Eve Gala. Words cannot describe the event. All I can say is. You NEED TO BE THERE next year! Hats off to Lorie, Teagan, Crystal, Curtis and Karen for making our stay exceptional! It's beginning to feel like home when we're away!

Very nice hotel and so close to where we were visiting. Only issue was loss of sleep in uncomfortable bed. But all hotel beds are that way to me. Friendly staff. Kids enjoyed the pool and spa a few times. Room service prices were a little costly for us.

Stayed here in off-season on business and really loved the place. Rooms were very spacious for the price, and the service at the bar and the breakfast restaurant were top notch, with friendly, humorous staff! Would stay here again, for sure.

This is a great hotel, rooms are very clean and so is the hotel. We stayed in the back part of the hotel, now our team booked a block of rooms but for some reason we weren't all on the same level...Some of us were hanging out in the lobby to chat and have a few beers which didn't last long as the manager came and kicked us out of the lobby and told to go to our rooms...OK MOM...I didn't eat in the restaurant because your going to need a VISA Gold card to eat there...My son enjoyed the pool they have. I would stay here again no matter what I was coming for...

Noticed a charge on our bill that was not ours - it was even dated prior to our check in. Took four calls over the span of one week to get it corrected. Very concerning. Not the typical Best Western experience.

King suite with jetted tub, couldn't be more relaxing. Huge massive room. Much cleaner and nicer than expected. Very quiet end room. I would recommend this hotel and this room without question. 5th floor end unit for quiet and peaceful rest.

This was by far in all my years of travelling the most horrible hotel experience I have ever had. The management team here are not only rude but basically lied to my face. The owners are not only combative and aggressive but they want nothing to do with kids. They cater to older people which is fine but then don't accept money and reservations for sports teams. We spent thousands of dollars but were basically treated like second class citizens. Obviously our money and business was not worth as much as others paid. I ended leaving after one night of my two night stay yet they still charged me for the second night. They told me it was between me and Expedia which was a total lie. They had the ability to credit me the second night but CHOSE not to. Expedia even confirmed on the phone with the front desk that if the hotel agrees they would credit me back. Of course the hotel ownership refused.They allowed everyone in my party the ability to cancel the second night with no penalty or charge.Even Expedia offered me a 50$ credit for inconvenience (which I declined as I felt it was up to the hotel but at least they regard client satisfaction a bit higher than Best Western does) I guess they were within their right and so be it but I will NEVER stay at this hotel or any Best Western hotel worldwide again.Even the corporate head office of Best Western did not step to put the customer first. I hope they enjoy the extra $160 they got because it is the last penny they will ever get from me. If you are sports team with kids DO NOT STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES they have no ability to manage this professionally as all the other hotels we have stayed at over the years have. They wouldn't allow us to rent and pay for a team room even though they had some available. Please get out of the sports team bookings you obviously cant handle it and don't want it so don't steal their money and threaten to call the cops on 10 year old boys and parents as they have much more important things to deal with than that. You will get some answer below about a difference of opinion but don't believe it as the situation could easily have been handled by someone who knows how to run a hotel and deal with different groups of people this hotel team has NO SUCH ability.

Affordable, casual, yet clean and comfortable. Located within short walking distance to the Festival Theater. Very short drive into downtown Stratford. Front desk and bar staff were accommodating and friendly. Will stay here again.

We are at the Arden park right now. It is a lovely room, very large. Comfy beds.friendly front desk staff. BUT I WILL NEVER EVER STAY HERE AGAIN ! Since we checked in at 3pm the house outside is deplorable. There is a hockey team in town, young girls The hall outside our door has not only kids running, yelling, roller skating but adults drinking and ignoring the kids and not stopping them. I have poked my head out twice, no change. People banging on our door, now screaming.

The beds were great, the hotel was updated, and right off the main strip. I was here for a conference in the hotel and enjoyed my stay. The conference food as well was very good. I'd certainly recommend it.

The check-in and check-out were quick and efficient, and the staff were friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a one night stay if you are going to the theatre. Lots of parking and close to restaurants.

We stayed here overnight to see a show. It was my third yearly visit. This time we stayed in a suite. It was lovely, and reasonably priced, with comfortable sitting room, including fireplace, and separate bedroom. The check-in/check out was easy and efficient. We had breakfast in the dining room and it was reasonable and good. They have coffee/hot chocolate in the lobby to welcome guests. It is located within walking distance to the Festival theater as well as a nice park and neighborhoods. I would stay here again when I am visiting Stratford.

Well appointed suite. Very comfortable and Very clean and full amenities. Made full use of the desk for study and business needs. Restaurant has great food and wonderful service. Karen was a perfect waitress. Unfortunate that on sundays, the hotel restaurant closes. We had to order out. That was disappointing.

We stayed at this location as a hockey team. At around 5:30 not long after we checked our kids were approached by a very rude, entitled night manager who spoke to the in a disrespectful manner while cursing at 9 year olds rather than speak to the parents. After trying to reserve a communal room to have a team dinner we were told this was not possible. We ordered pizzas and had the kids come to the hall to eat as we had no other option. This is when we were approached by the GM/Owner who felt it was appropriate to tell us that we were behaving like animals and it was a zoo. If you value customer service and the opportunity to bond as a team in Startford the best western is not the place to stay!! Regards Disappointed customer

We were part of a hockey team, and this has been the WORST hotel service we have ever experienced. We booked a block of 15 rooms, and they were located throughout the entire hotel! At 6:00 at night, we we're told that we had 3 minutes to get into our rooms, or the cops would be called. We asked to speak to the manager, and NEVER have we been treated wth such disrespect....and we have stayed at a lot of hotels, as a team. She was combative from the beginning, and was not looking to reason with anyone.

Overall I had a great experience. The conference I went to was well attended to by staff. Chantelle at the front desk at check in and out was fantastic. My only complaints was the hot tub needed to be cleaned - which I informed night staff of. She apologized and said she'd take care of it. Beyond that just little things that are sometimes different with each hotel. I don't stay in hotels often so it's not a huge deal - I just remember to bring certain items next time. -like extra shampoo.

A nice, very friendly hotel as you would expect from Best Western. Staff was well trained and efficient. Lots of parking, great restaurant and good ambiance. With family recently moved to Stratford we expect to be using the Arden Park Hotel quite frequently.

We have always stayed at the Arden Park Best Western Plus while we celebrate our anniversary and visit the Stratford Festival, year after year the atmosphere has been relaxing and comfortable. Great place!

This hotel is conveniently located about .4 miles from the Festival Theater. An easy walk along Parkside, away from the much more heavily trafficked Queen Street (due to the Festival Theater Parking lot at its end) makes this an ideal place to stay if a pleasant stroll is on order after enjoying the theater. And walking along Parkside is easy compared to the incline on Queen Street. The rooms are generously sized, the restaurant and lounge on-site are nice conveniences along with pool and fitness area. Prices in the lounge and restaurant were moderate, especially considering the US exchange rate. Nice selection from simple sandwiches and burgers to more typical dinner meals. The onion soup was a big hit. Entire facility is clean, with pleasant and helpful staff.

The restaurant at the Best Western Arden Park is a nice brisk walk from the Festival Theatre. They don't serve anything hyper-fancy - no farm-to-table seasonal fresh organic yada yada yada. They serve dinner. I had a decent french onion soup and a fine penne in cream sauce with sausage, and my friend had the citrus salmon. Dinner for two with no wine for about $60 Canadian. Extremely attentive service. Not very crowded, either - it seems to just not be on the radar of the theatre crowd. No issues getting dinner and getting out with enough time to see our play. Highly recommended.

Was here for business and was pleasantly surprised with how good this hotel was. The room was nice and big, great carpet, decent bed, ok shower, decent art on the walls, super clean. Didn't eat here or use the pool or gym but lots of people were eating and the pool looked to be a decent size. It's located close to the Bruce Hotel and seemed to be a nice walk to the festival theatre, although a much longer walk into downtown Stratford. The only very slight downside was that the bedside lights were very bright when there's two of you and someone is trying to sleep.

Our king room was spacious & comfortable for a multi-night stay. The location was convenient to the theatres & downtown shopping area. There is an ATM in the lobby that only charges $2 in case you need Canadian cash during your visit. Do be aware - there will be a $100 charge to your credit card upon arrival for potential charges in the restaurant and/or damages. I was told the charge will be credited back in 2-5 business days.

Great place for a group of women away for a weekend. Rooms are very large and comfortable. Well situated close to the theatre but must still use your car. Only had breakfast great choices and very accommodating. Staff wonderful throughout the hotel helpful and friendly

Overall, it is a good hotel with good service. The food at the restaurant is also good. They need to soften their bathroom tissue and give more lights, such as more lamps, to the rooms. Other than that, we were pleased with this hotel.

The BW in Stratford is great. Over the past 2 decades, I have stayed at various hotels, but most love the Arden Park Hotel. We book a suite, and they are lovely... well appointed, comfortable, and with amenities for preparing snacks and light pre-dinner appetizers. The Arden Park is walking distance to the Festival Theatre and river paths, and longer walk or a short drive to the Avon Theater downtown. Perfect in all regards.

I attended a conference at this hotel with my spouse. The hotel was what I expect a Best Western to be: clean and with professional service. The check in was easy and we quickly got our room. The front desk was pleasant and friendly. The amenties were standard: a pool, gym, free coffee. The conference venue itself is standard. However the extra suites in the basement are accessed via the main elevator which open to an unfinished area. You have to pass the laundry room through a untility corridor to get to the suite. It just seems, I don't know, underwhelming and weird to say the least. I would suggest finishing this area so it's not so unsettling. The food at the venue was underwhelming: usually cold and bland. The main dinner consisted of steak veggies and potatoes but unfortunately it tasted like butter and the veggies were undercooked. One person at my table was served several minutes after everyone else. The buffet lunch was missing food items that weren't replenished. The bar staff during the events was outstanding. Now for the hotel itself: The room was nice and the beds were moderately comfortable. Late check out was unavailable which is unfortunate considering the conference was still underway and the hotel should be mindful of accommodating the need for many participants to check out late especially if they did not travel using their own vehicle. The reason I was given is that the cleaning staff demanded no more late checkouts which to me is a management issue that should not have affected the guests. I did not appreciate that it was suggested to me that I sit around in the lobby or have a drink at the bar (at 11am) so I decided to wait for my spouse by driving around because at least it was something I could occupy my time (at least an hour) with. Overall I'm pleased with my stay however I would consider the experience to be overvalued (price was too high) having stayed at comparable hotels around the province and the world.

My husband and I booked a night away after I recieved a surgery at the hospital there. They double booked us, and then wanted a deposit also. We saved up enough money for the room expense and the trip to the hospital. No one informed us that we would have to pay double the room for a deposit. Not on the phone when we booked it. I was in tears as we drove away. Lady at counter was rude to my husband.

Elena and Dom are amazing hosts and welcome guests into a charming beautifully decorated home. Breakfasts are always different and delicious, with fruit plates and sweets to die for. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms always spotless. Both Dom and Elena are very knowledgeable about the city and have good suggestions about restaurants in the area. The conversations at breakfast are also very stimulating as guest discuss plays, politics or our delicious dinners.

Very large clean room and bathroom. HUGE bathtub. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Good restaurant with friendly and helpful staff. The menu is typical of a good hotel resto. Entire hotel is top notch. Parking is a bit tight but ok.

I killed sixteen flies in my room, in three separate incidents. I reported it to the cleaning staff and they were sympathetic, and passed on my concerns. I told the clerk at checkout and she was personally concerned and made a note. I filled in a survey, on line, and I have yet to hear from Best Western, I keep getting re-directed, since they encouraged me to go to trip advisor, here I am. Nobody wants to see a multitude of flies in their room, and especially, to have them keep reappearing after dealing with them once, then twice. We just returned from our annual visit to take in the shows at The Stratford Festival. The hotel is very clean and updated, the staff friendly and the amenities are exceptional. We had breakfast in the restaurant and our server, Deb, was absolutely terrific. She is hands down the friendliest and best server I have ever had in ANY establishment and Best Western is so lucky to have her on the team. Being a frequent traveler, its people like Deb that make a traveler feel at home even while away. Great stay...thank you and we will be back for sure!

If you are going to be in Stratford for one of the festival theatre plays, the Arden Park hotel is the place to stay. Rooms are very comfortable and the restaurant has lots to offer. And you can walk to the Festival Theatre!

Great hotel to stay at during the theater season. Super staff. Close to everything. Have been coming there for years and will continue to do so in the future. Great mix of guests from Canada and the USA.

Easily the nicest BW I ever stay at. Better than a bunch of Marriotts where I'm Paltinum. Easy access to the festival, very accommodating staff. Clean. Great bed. Indoor pool and hot tub. Consistently fast internet. Have stayed two years in a row now and plan to stay again.

I didn't want to rate the hotel as poor, as there were some good qualities, so I'll start with those. The deluxe room had an updated decor and overall was a clean hotel and room. The location was good in relation to the Festival Theatre and about a 20 minute walk to the viilage. However for $200+ a night, my expectations are that of higher end hotel, particularly in a small town. This hotel gave me the vibe of almost a motel. It all started with a difficult and very poor check-in experience. While we arrived early, we had to come back 3 times, and our room was not even ready at 4 pm - well after guaranteed check-in time. An alternative room was not even offered, simply a 'sorry we're short staffed, you'll have to come back'. In the end a complimentary breakfast was provided, but the soured experience already set the tone for our stay. There also was no wifi or movie channels for purchase - quite surprising as this is almost standard at most hotels. Parking is free, so that was a plus. Overall it was a clean and comfortable bed to sleep in, so that should be the expectation level one goes in with and the average rating would be accurate.

Beautiful room and decor. Excellent service from front desk to the lounge staff. The food in the lounge was perfect and at a reasonalbe price. There is plenty of free parking. The pool area was very clean with a nice hot tub. would definitely stay here again.

This hotel has been renovated and is a very nice place to stay for theatre and other purposes in Stratford. The front desk staff and bartender were very nice and accommodating. The beds were comfortable and our room were spacious and well equipped. We did not dine at the hotel, so I cannot comment on the restaurant.

Great location near the festival and the river. Room size is very large! The hotel and the rooms are a bit dated though. But for the price and location, great value for money. If you want a better experience and are willing to pay top dollar, you can go to Bruce Hotel.

We have stayed here several times when visiting the Stratford Festival. Within a short walk of the Festival Theatre. Rooms are spacious. Check in was quick. Breakfast is fine. Only problem was that the lock on our room didn't work even with two sets of replacement keys and help from the maintenance staff. They moved us to another room which was more to our liking anyway, but the front desk staff indicated that they have a lot of problems with keys getting demagnetized.

We have used this hotel for a number of years when seeing theatre productions in Stratford. It is within walking distance of the main stage Festival Theatre and a three or four minute drive to downtown Stratford ( for other theatres, shops and restaurants). Rooms are a good size, including bathrooms. Lots of parking , situated on a corner with traffic lights (easier getting in and out of the parking lot).

Everything was good.Room was clean,service was friendly and helpful and meals were enjoyable.Parking was very convenient and safe and access to hotel was nearby.Have only positive things to say about hotel.

The hotel was very clean and our room was excellent. Very close (5 minute walk) to the Festival Theatre. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was very good. Omelets, pancakes. I should mention that the hotel is pet friendly as we had our little dog along with us.

We have been visiting Stratford since 2000 to get our fill of great theatre. We have stayed at the Arden Park for a number of those years and always have an excellent experience. It's in a great location for walking to the Festival Theatre and the Tom Patterson (re-opening in 2020). It's an easy trip to the downtown area and the other two theatres (Avon and Studio). They have an attentive staff and all the services you will need. Highly recommended.

This is a very nice hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff, on the whole, are friendly and helpful. We did have difficulty with a maid one day. Restaurant food was good and portions were large. If you want to use pool, be ready to be the only one in there. It was not well used when we were there. There is a wee tuck shop (snacks, pop) in the lobby.Only negative was....the view from our room was the a/c unit and the other side of the hotel. nAsk for a room with a view when checking in, if this is what you want.

Had a great stay Check in was a nightmare due to a lost reservation. Then we were made to believe there were no rooms available (even got offered to try other hotels) ...then miraculously after standing our ground a room was made available.Beyond that, the trip was great, rooms are beautiful and clean. The bed was super comfy. All of the staff were friendly. It is a bit pricey but overall we were happy with our stay.

The room was clean, nicely decorated worth the cost due to its great location. Only problem was I found the hot tub had too much chlorine...strong bleach smell. The lobby and general areas were clean. The restaurant was lovely with great breakfast.

I had lunch in the lounge at the hotel and it was excellent. A roast beef dinner was one of the daily specials for $10.99. The meal included soup or a salad. The beef barley soup was great. The was served with at least 4 slices of beef, mashed potatoes and gravy and a medley of assorted fresh vegetables. The portions were very large and I felt that the meal was excellent value for the money. The restaurant has two parts, the dining room and the lounge. Our server was friendly and we didn't have to wait very long for our meals to arrive. Overall, a very pleasant lunch.

Overall we had a very pleasant stay at the Arden Park Hotel. We arrived around 3pm just after check-in starts. The staff was very friendly, and our check-in went smoothly, so we proceeded to our room, a junior queen suite. (The room was very nice and updated; the only thing I didn't like was the toilet. It was very tiny and not eco friendly -it used a ton of water. It appears that when the room got its update, changing to a more improved toilet was not part of this). Anyway, we were just settling into our room when there was a knock, and without waiting for a reply, some google people who had been taking pictures started to come in. I came to the door quickly so they couldn't fully enter the room. They said they hadn't put back all of the items they had moved for the pictures (we later found everything in one of the closets). As we were not planning on leaving the room yet, I told them to not worry about it, and they went on their way. We didn't even have any time to complain, as only minutes later, an envelope was sent under the door with a letter from the manager apologizing for the miscommunication about our room being ready. It included two vouchers for free breakfast. I really appreciated how this was handled and how apologetic the manager was. Shortly after this we headed down to the pool which was a little on the cool side, but okay over all. We weren't able to use the hot tub, as it was not working, but a repairman arrived to work on it shortly before we left. In the morning we went down to breakfast. I have to say all of the staff were great, but I need to give special mention to the breakfast lady who was very personable and went out of her way to be extra friendly. The breakfast buffet was very typical and average, nothing special, but would probably be fine for most people. Checkout went very smoothly, and the girl at the reception made sure to ask us about our stay. Even though we did not have a perfect stay, I would still come back to this hotel because the staff was so great.

The hotel is lovely. It's clean, luxurious, and well-maintained. The pillows on the beds are small, (square) so I recommend if you bring your own, if you prefer a regular sized pillow. As well the hotel itself is divided into two buildings so when you book multiple rooms, make sure you specify you want to be in the same building. We spent a lot of time going down one elevator, through a hall and up another one to meet up with our travelling guests. The Sunday brunch was yummy but breakfast was not included in the rate.

This hotel is very nice. It is older but nicely updated. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The staff very friendly. The hotel restaurant was not great but decent. The pool was nice. Good location for Festival theater goers. Downtown attractions about 20 minute walk. I would stay here again.

We chose the Arden Park because of its close location to the festival theater (It is in walking distance). The hotel is nicely decorated. Our room was large and comfortable. The room was always clean. The desk staff were very helpful. The hotel has a nice pool (that never seemed crowed) and a small but effective exercise room. The food choices in the restaurant were good and the service was good. The only drawback is the distance to downtown; because of the distance you will need to drive to sample the better Stratford restaurants or the Avon theater.

Not your average Best Western. Very large and nicely appointed rooms. Comfortable beds. Fridge and Keurig coffee maker in room. Nice bathroom. Shower was a bit dodgy. Had dinner before heading to see Music Man, at Stratford Festival. Nice dining room with attentive waitress, Decent food, a bit on the high price.

This is a nice hotel- staff are nice, food is good, rooms and common space clean. But how often do you stay in a hotel where the bathtub is long enough to lay back and take a soak? After a long day of travel and theater - this was a wonderful way to relax and re-energize. If you are in Stratford for theater- worth the price.

Stratford is full of many quaint B&Bs. However, if you are looking for a larger, more standard motel, this is a great option. The rooms are spacious, recently redecorated and comfortable. Parking is available for free. The price is a bit high but the value is there. We stay here each year now when we visit. There is even a Dairy Queen close by!

The hotel is a great location to the Festival Theater, a 5 minute walk (2+ blocks). We had a two-room suite (for a family of four), which was larger than expected or needed. Beds were comfortable, the bathroom was large and updated.

Our experience with the hotel was excellent. From the time we checked in until the time we left we found everything as it should be. The front desk staff were courteous and efficient and check in and out was easy. The WIFI was fast and I found no place where it wouldn't work. The hotel and rooms are well furnished and clean. Everything from shower to AC worked well. The hotel has lots of parking and the Festival Theatre is a short walk away. The pool and hot tub were at a great temperature and the water was absolutely clean and clear. The beds are comfortable and the room was quiet. My only issue is that the windows in our room did not have blackout curtains that could be pulled across the window. I did use a sturdy clip to partially hold them closed but I found that it then blocked the air conditioning. So there was a choice of be cool or have light streaming into the room at 6:30 am. We did have a suite so this may not be an issue in other rooms - certainly not an issue if you don't like a darkened room to sleep in.

The hotel is very conveniently located on Hwy 7. A truly excellent hotel experience. We occupied a King suite. The staff was pleasant, knowledgeable and dedicated to customer service. The hotel restaurant was also efficient with a limited, but good, adequate menu.

Went back home to Stratford for a family wedding, we stayed here at the Arden park, and we're very pleased with our stay. Check in was very quick. They even got us in to our room hours before allowed check in time, we appreciated very much so we could get dressed for wedding. Our room was spotless, well stocked, and very tastefully decorated. The cleaning staff that we met were all very pleasant. We had breakfast in the rest downstairs and again had absolutely no complaints. Everything was very good. Maybe a little more than we would have liked to pay for the night, but considering the way they take care of the place, we couldn't really complain. Job well done Arden Park!!!

We stayed in a King Suite which was enormous! The bathroom had a separate Jacuzzi tub and shower and the living room was huge. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Festival Theater which was wonderful. A very clean hotel with up-to-date amenities.

Went to Stratford to see some plays and visit friends and family in the area on my own. Was quite pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Looks renovated and upgraded. Nice size rooms, roomy. Upgraded fixtures and amenities. Good free parking, pool and location, quiet. Will go back.

I stayed for four nights for business The hotel is very clean and the staff is friendly. In the lobby there is a nice coffee machine that is free. Love love the moka coffee. My room was really clean and the parking is free. I had super once and did not enjoy the food. It's four minutes drive to downtown. You need to eat at Key Stone Alley, there is a beautiful outside sitting area and the food is amazing. Overall the hotel was really good. I will definitely come back

I was very fortunate to be invited to the Arden Park Best Western Hotel for Father's Day by my son and daughter in law. The food was outstanding and the service superb. The dinner rooms were full, as this is a very popular place for holiday events. With number of quests being seated every hour, you would expect lineups at thr buffet tables. This was not the case, and we did not experience any waiting at all. The meal, from the salad and soup to the made to order omelets, rare roast beef, and pork back ribs and a large variety of delicious desserts was wonderful. I should have booked a room as I needed a nap after this gastric delight.

The best time , we needed to get away and have quite time which we had, an a great time shopping in Stratford and the Sat. market. We walk a lot in the park and went on the boat which we found so so peaceful. The resturtant were great and serve great food.

The hotel does have a coffee machine in the lobby that you can access at any time, complete self serve, makes regular, hot chocolate and a great cafe mocha. The pool and whirlpool is excellent, they also have a gym too. The staff were all great. Every morning there is a newspaper down by the lobby coffee machine, get there early as they are limited and go fast. Wifi is fast and stable and great speed. Sometimes you have to log in using special code, but its usually your last name and room number, Roku streamed Netflx with no buffering. We got a king suite, it was large and had a fridge, microwave, keurig coffee machine so bring your favorite pods, wet bar, sofa bed and a separate bedroom. We booked well in advance so got special price out of season with discount 156.plus tax. The only thing I could suggest is to have robes so you can go up and down to the pool, whirlpool comfortably. Also we didn't make up room everyday, Four seasons hotel has a good incentive program, you get 5 dollars for everyday you don't use make up room service maybe they could add this to their policy. Its about a 10 minute walk to Shaw festival theater, we drove it was 15 dollars to park. Its a longer walk to the Avon theater, but we parked in theater parking lot for 10 dollars. We were by an ice machine and the elevators and didn't hear them in the suite. The on site restaurant is good food for value price, but limited in choices. Sunday seems to be the best day for their buffet. Make reservations it gets busy. Parking was close to the door and free. No spa services on site. Really had a great experience with the Arden park hotel.

Very satisfied with our stay. Rooms were clean and the overall service was great. Location to the theatres was excellent , only a five minute walk to the Festival Theatre and to the scenic park grounds.

I am in Stratford on business and my client recommended this hotel for my stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the beautifully appointed rooms. The suites are spacious and the beds really comfortable. The first night, I went out for dinner. The second night, I decided to check out the restaurant. I was BLOWN AWAY by the quality of food at the restaurant at Best Western Arden Park. I had a steak special with salad, mixed veggies and mashed potatoes. The steak was perfectly cooked with a scrumptious sautéed onion gravy. The meal was followed by the best rice pudding I have ever had. I am back again for my last night having the best penne pasta with basil tomato cream sauce with chicken. To die for! Last but not least, the staff is awesome - very attentive, friendly and welcoming. I will be back!

We visited Stratford, Ontario early in the season to see some plays staying overnight at the Arden. Our recently refreshed room, a corner suite on the third floor, was comfortable and spacious. We ate breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant and were pleased with the quality of the food and service. The best perk of the Arden is that it is only a 5 minute walk to the main Festival Theater. The Arden has plenty of parking and reasonable room rates.

Excellent location for attending Stratford Festival ! Easy to get to and especially when leaving to go home. Many convenient store and services nearby for all needs.. Have enjoyed my stays here for a number of years.

Nice clean spacious rooms. Everything is close within 5 minute drive to hotel. Staff in pleasant and helpful. The downside is the appetizers in the restaurant were more like frozen food reheated than freshly made. Breakfast buffet on Sunday was really good.

This is our 2nd stay at the Arden Park Hotel. My wife and I both commented to each other about how friendly the staff are here. The Hotel is meticulously kept and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

The people at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The maid that did our room was extra nice and made sure we got what we needed! The food is great! They took care of us old folks. The menu is varied and they have daily specials like lamb shank which was delicious. The location is close to all the venues and within walking distance if you are young.

Very nice hotel for business traveler. Updated rooms and on-site lounge and restaurant make this hotel appealing. Recommend should you need to stay in this area. Meals were done nicely and service in the lounge was outstanding. The only complaint I had was they ran out of my favorite beverage after the first drink.

For anyone familiar with fine hotels like the Fairmont, Marrott, former Delta, etc. you will find equally good accommodation in Stratford at the BW Arden Park Hotel. This is a well appointed hotel with excellent furnishings and amenities. The staff are friendly and welcoming. A good restaurant is available - again with friendly and accommodating staff. While there is no room service, the restaurant will quickly set up a serving tray with covers so you can take a meal to your room. This was a good place to stay.

I'm not big on B&B's, which Stratford is chock-a-block full of. While they were once a lower cost alternative to big hotels, that is no longer the case, and I see no value in paying a premium to sleep in someone's guest room. Give me a nice hotel room, in a property with a full range of amenities, where I can be an anonymous guest. The BWP Arden Park Hotel ticks all my boxes. It is a relatively modern property, with restaurant, pool, fitness room and meeting rooms on site. Our room was clean and spacious, with a lovely view of the parking lot (can't have it all, I guess). It was a pleasant 1 mile walk to the downtown and the Avon Theatre, and about half that distance to the Festival Theatre for the two shows we saw during our visit. The desk clerk at check-in was pleasant and helpful. We were able to arrange a late check-out the morning of our departure (not as late as we would have ideally wanted, but they were fully booked, so that's understandable). However there was no issue with leaving our car in the parking lot (free parking FTW) while we enjoyed a matinee performance at the Festival Theatre. We enjoyed a nice breakfast at the on-site restaurant. The only issue there was that there only one server on the floor, and she was extremely busy - not her fault though. Breakfast itself was quite good. It was a la carte, not your typical complimentary buffet.

I enjoyed my stay at Arden hotel - my rm was good and having a restaurant on site was great. the only issue I had which i think i big was my whirlpool tub was not cleaned 2 days in a row. when I called back to inquire about the cleanliness I found they would not take total ownership of the issue. but overall I really liked my stay!

I visited Stratford for the festival. During my stay I've Found a pair of boxers under the sofa in the room. Wasn't happy about that. The paint in bathroom is dropping off. It's just an average hotel with poor cleanliness.

The staff treated me royally and the room was amazing. I was upgraded and was extremely pleased with the amenities. Checking out was as seamless as checking in. Facilities for the wedding I attended were well set up and suited the purpose well.

Location was central to what we needed for the weekend. We stayed one night and the room was very adequate for myself and my son who uses a wheelchair - deluxe - 2 queen beds. The room itself was big enough and Bathroom very spacious - shower chair was finally provided. Only real set-back for some might be that there is no room service and no breakfast included. It depends on what qualities an individual seeks in their stay and for us this stay was a solid 4 out of 5. We didn't stay for the view and this particular room (225) has no view - just in case you needed to know.

My wife and I stayed here for one night of a road trip. Entry was surprising because one comes upon the restaurant reception desk before the hotel reception desk, but its no biggie. Front desk staff were courteous and efficient. Our room was a king suite having a separate salon and bedroom. Both rooms had large flat screen televisions; neither had a sleep timer. The rooms were spacious and the salon had an adjacent kitchenette. The rooms were clean and had adequate furniture. The bathroom had a separate shower stall and jacuzzi tub. The caulking at the bottom of the shower stall was in need of a bit of work or cleaning; I did not inspect it closely. Unusually, this Best Western does not have an included breakfast, but this hotel has a restaurant and bar-lounge.

Well located, friendly staff, would stay here again. We dined in the restaurant for lunch, excellent service and excellent price too. Our room was ready when we arrived, check in was done in a timely fashion, and with a smile!!

I normally like my visits to this hotel, it is clean, the maintenance,dusting etc is very good. So I will say thank you to the maintenance staff for a GREAT job. +1 The Front line workers of the Hotel work very hard; but, the fail here is the management who short term (weekend) planning for special events lacks attention to detail. Such as staffing for the restaurant on Saturday morning where one and only one server was on duty with a rush of 200 people - she was heroic - Thank you Nora. (under the rules of no last name but first name's allowed) .... +1 to Nora -3 Management Internet is during my stay was spotty, -3 ... No Management after 25 years of software development, I know it's not be, it's you BW.. During events where you are contracted to have a food venue and banning outside food, make sure you bleeping open on time. -2 to management.... The math does not add up right? Why because the front line staff are friendly and attempt to the best of their abilities so make things right +n..

We stayed here for a bowling tournament and were immensely impressed by the quality of the rooms and service. Beds were great. Real close to the downtown area and restaurants. Can only nit pick to find fault.

Attended a Winter Crop Conference at this facility. Arrived the first night to stay in a King Suite, very fashionably decked out with modern furnishings. Great breakfast the following morning from an attentive server. Spent the next two days at a conference with excellent meals including a banquet one evening for dinner.

Great staff and hotel. Stayed due to a hockey tournament in Seaforth. Would definitely stay there again. Kids had s great time swimming and everything was close by (shopping, food etc). Not sure if their pricing was raised during this off season due to the hockey tournament. This was pretty pricey and my only complaint.

Stayed at the Best Western Plus Arden Park with my girlfriend for two nights while seeing a Stratford Festival show, and touring around the town. Hotel is very clean and in excellent condition. Modern decor and feel, yet with elegant furniture. Good sized room with large comfy beds, and spacious bathroom. There was also some sort of a convention or event going on, but in room was still nice and quiet. Automatic espresso and drink machine in the lobby was free and definitely a nice bonus. Enjoyed some time in the pool and hot tub as well. Location was good. Just a five minute drive from downtown Stratford and the theatre area. A couple minutes away from the Shakespeare haunted walk we attended. Went for brunch across the street at Romeo's corner cafe. Overall, a great stay. Would definitely book again.

We stayed this hotel for weekend basketball tournament. Room was crisp clean and staff were nice too :-) 10 min drive from town centre and 5 min drive to plaza. Laundromat is close by if need to wash some clothes. Also breakfast in hotel was decent as well. We enjoyed staying!

Stayed here Friday Jan 26, 2018. Was able to checkin early, given a King room on 4th floor, with couch sofa bed so extra room to relax. Housekeeping did a magnificent job, everything was very clean and tidy. Bathroom was large and had rainfall shower in tub, thou water pressure was a bit low. Room itself was very brightly lit which was very nice. Only issue was TV was kind of small for size of room. Keurig coffee maker in room and refrigerator, no microwave. Desk with lamp, phone and power outlets. Wifi very fast and reliable. Plenty of free parking. Free coffee and tea in lobby. Large meeting rooms available. Restuarant onsight, no free breakfast. Very nice small pool and hot tub, bathrooms, pool towels and workout room with weights, universal and treadmills. Overall, this hotel is one of the best Bestwestern has to offer. It deserves the Plus designation. Another bonus is it is Near the Stratford Festival grounds. Would recommend this hotel to everyone and would definitely stay here again if in the area.

This is a very well manageged property with exceptional employees. Rooms are very quiet, clean with a modern decor. Both check in and checkout was efficient and pleasant. An added bonus is the restaurant on location.

This is an over expectation experience. Large room and large bathroom. I am tall and the shower was enough high for me!! Good restaurant and a nice lounge. They serve fast breakfast at a good price! Overall service very good. And the most important, It is very very clean. Downtown is a 5 minutes drive and the hotel is at walking distance from the festival theater!!!

We were there for our grandson's hockey tournament. Everything was very nice at the hotel. Staff were very friendly. We enjoyed eating in the restaurant, the ladies treated us very well, and the prices were very reasonable. We would definitely go back there.

We booked back in October for the package deal. We have been coming for 5 years. When booking we asked for 4 rooms-same floor and close together. Arriving 2 rooms on different floor and at opposite end of building. Dissatisfied. Told problem to girl at booking and she shrugged her shoulders and said they were fully booked. Not in October.Given tickets for door prizes for party. Band decided not to draw tickets for winners but picked people off dance floor with nice tie, short skirt, wiggle etc. Lady with band picked people she wanted to win. Not fair. We paid good money for party package. All girls in our party have knee or hip problems. We sat and listened to music most of night. Only 4 draws were made for door prizes. Not fair play. Last draw the number wasn't even checked to see if it was right. Very, Very disappointed. Food and service was excellent.

The hotel location is near the city center, about 15-20 minutes walk. Also 10-minute walk to Stratford Festival. Room is very comfortable and modern (we took the "deluxe"). Well appointed with microwave included and the most comfortable beds of our two-week stay in Canada. Indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi which were wonderful to enjoy while outside it was bitterly cold and snowing. Attentive staff. A nice restaurant is available.

I have been to the Arden Park several times. Each stay has been great, however, this past weekend the staff really stepped it up a notch. My wife and I attended the Mardi Gras for New Years, our second such outing at the Arden Park. As with last year, the experience was 5 star. The staff was amazing, the food was stellar and the accommodations were top notch. Special thanks has to be said to Teagan, Karen and a huge thank you to Brittney (hope I spelled it correctly) Each of them made our stay a touch above. We will definitely be booking for the next New Years Gala as we couldn't ask for a better experience! I highly recommend staying here!

My family and I stayed at the BW Arden Plus from December 27- December 30 for a local hockey tournament. The guest rooms are large and spacious, with ample working, sitting and eating areas. The bathroom is large and very nicely decorated. Beds were soft and comfy. The staff at check-in and check-out were very helpful, even despite being very busy from all of the other families and holiday travelers coming and going. The bar staff was attentive and helpful! Not sure what happened with the breakfast as all the the eggs we had cooked to order tasted like burnt butter - not appetizing. The coffee they serve, however, was enjoyable. Overall, I suspect this is usually a quiet hotel in Stratford; if you're booking during the winter months, I would call ahead to ensure that there is not a hockey tournament going on as I would advise to stay somewhere else.

Best Western Arden Park did a wonderful job of their New Year's Eve Mardi Gras theme. The dinner, decorations, live band, dancing, breakfast was superb! Both the Buffet Dinner and the New Years brunch buffet, both had lots of variety of food with very high quality and presentation.

Stayed at this hotel for hockey tournament. Hotel staff managed the volume extremely well and were very pleasant and accommodating. The lounge staff was fun. The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern.

We decided not to risk the drive home on Christmas day so we landed at this hotel and were offered a reduced price because of bad road conditions. We were treated like royalty and felt very safe. We feel at home in this hotel

People who work at Hotel very nice and friendly. The suite is spacious and in excellent shape. Above standards of most Best Westerns. Food in the Restaurant delicious and great service. Cleanliness of hallways and rooms superb.

Clean, modern, spacious rooms (suite). Booking again for the following weekend. Ample free parking and the pool and hot tub were great (pool on the warm side, great for the winter when we were there). This hotel exceeded my expectation, smaller city/town hotels usually do not.

Staff was very bright and cheery at check in and answered and and all of my questions. Service at the lounge was fast and friendly and both dinner and breakfast were well done. Can't ask for more than that on a last minute stay!

What a find! The hotel was easy to locate within Stratford, and although not walking distance to the centre of town it was set conveniently between downtown shops and the large "box stores" on the outskirts. There were also several coffee shops and restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel - although making reservations for Sunday Brunch is highly recommended! Our delightful room was a corner suite with a wonderful jetted tub, fireplace, and kitchenette with a sink, microwave, and bar fridge. It was complete with all the amenities including a desk with charging station, wifi, generously sized television and access to a myriad of channels, and a table/chairs near the window. Perfect for an cozy anniversary get-away.

Staff went beyond reasonable expectations to make our stay enjoyable. Queen Suite was very large, comfortable and met our needs. Would highly recommend this accomodation to others seeking comfortable, friendly, competitively priced accommodation.

Enjoyable visit in Stratford Ontario where some family reside, if I need a hotel next time I visit Stratford will certainly consider the Best Western at Arden Park. Check in was smooth and efficient and staff v ery helpful.

when I realized that I had only made a one night reservation, when I had thought I had reserved for two nights, the manager went out of his way to help...this involved time, knowledge and perserverence......I had travelled to this destination for an important skating competition of my granddaughter, and there were four people in my group.......we were fortunate to be able to stay the second night after a was noted by the manager

Loud band playing underneath us. Manager said done at 1130pm, they finished playing at 1am then loudly packed. Girls had a 930pm curfew for team sporting event next day, this is my eighth year here! They know these girls are up before 6am and should have allocated our rooms differently to avoid the banquet room noise. Stuff was vibrating in our room, it was that loud. No empathy on the issue from anyone. We couldn't sleep till after 130am and got up at 530am. Under four hours of rest!! Given a lousy 20% back on room night to compensate. Otherwise the rooms are nice and large, large tubs, good counter space, good size fridge, microwave and comfortable beds. I'm just saddened the staff didn't show more empathy and understanding of this situation.

This is a great hotel. We stayed there on a couple of occasions for hockey and certainly the hotel is modern, very clean, rooms are fairly roomy and the bathrooms are a nice size. I would/will definitely stay again

Nice hotel in Stratford. Clean rooms, pool, exercise room and friendly staff. Excellent restaurant located in the hotel where we had a very nice family supper and good breakfast the next morning. A bit surprised that breakfast was not included in the rates as it is at other Best Western Hotels. Would still recommend a stay at this hotel if you are in the Stratford area.
